What a wild week to week 11 in the national football league.
We're in the nut house right now.
So we had to hop on.
Huh?
Nut house. Nut house reactions.
Nut house reactions.
So we had to hop on and bring you guys a little recap.
Another recap.
I like the recaps. It's fun.
It helps me for my TV gig.
helps me get ready
in my mind for the week
so let's jump into it
I love it
start off with the Patriots Jets Thursday Night Football
Yes
what did I predict before
27-14
What was it?
27-10
27-10
27-10
It was 27-14
You know
It was close
I knew it would be
More than a two-score game
But it was going to be closer
Than what people think
Division games
Always tough
And from the start
Of the match
From the start
I've been playing
too many soccer games.
Been going to soccer games too much.
I'm saying match.
What the hell is going on?
From the start of the game,
you know,
the Jets executed a great first drive.
Took like the whole first quarter off the board,
scored touchdown,
had a good scripted drive,
and good teams have to answer,
and that's what the Patriots did,
and they go 14 unanswered,
and then it goes into the game that they had.
That was just a good little snippet
that I thought right away,
like, you know, team drives, long, lengthy drive.
You're on the sideline as an offense, and you're sitting there like, man, are we going
get off the, no, we didn't get off third.
Oh, we're, oh, you know, that takes a lot to go out and execute your first drive and answer.
That was a big, big answer.
That was a 14 play, 72 yard, 8 minute and 4 second drive.
I know.
I mean, they had one drive in the first quarter.
I mean, the Jets, to their credit, that's how they had to play the game.
You know, they tried to play the game the right way,
keeping the offense off the field, executing on third down.
But it just was too much because the Patriots have grown
and morphed into a good football team right in front of our eyes.
You know, good football teams answer, good football teams do well on third down,
good football teams do good in the red area,
good football teams take care of the football
good football teams have good quarterbacks
I mean
I haven't looked at their third down numbers
but they look pretty good probably
just from afar 6 of 12
60% you take that all day
What were they in the red area?
We were
3 for 5
3 for 5 and they ran it in a couple
They run it in?
Who ran it in?
Anderson yeah
2 Russian touchdown
and a receiving turn run them in
Now Trayvon's coming in to his own
that's what you want to see
called that early this year
took a little time
but that's what happens
he's a young football player
and he's still trying to figure out his niche
his role what he has to do for the team
you know Romandre
they need a guy that goes north and south
in between those tackles Henderson's a very fast guy
but he's a small guy do you want to give him all those beatups
give him all those reps
you know I think if they play this right
uh... Stevenson's practicing again this week
good they need him
they need Stevenson
and they need him to take care of the football
Can't be going into this fumble thing going into the end of the season.
All security is.
I also liked.
Job security.
There it is.
I also liked, what was the weather that game?
I froze my, I was at the game.
I froze my ass on the building.
Yeah.
And the seats were wet, too, so my ass was cold and wet.
Little chilly.
Yeah.
I wanted to see how this team, you know, we envision New England teams have home field advantage
because they practice, we heard the whole, we're practicing outside from Drake thing.
They go out and they play pretty deep.
decent in the weather pretty well.
I mean, division game, short week, 27 points.
I mean, I remember those Thursday night games.
He just had to get in and get a win,
especially against the division.
And that's what they did.
It'll be exciting to get booty back.
Need him.
Need his big play presence.
Malcolm Williams injury is tough.
I hate that.
Mill Williams, that's going to hurt.
The first one or two players.
Yeah, and he tried to get back.
But, you know, they're going to have to hold on.
and there's going to be some adversity to overcome.
And this is one of them right here
because he's made some big plays for your team.
So good teams, they respond
and they figure your ways out.
Look at the chargers,
what they've had to do all year.
You know, look at a lot of these teams.
They get banged up bangles.
You know, so, like, there's going to be injuries.
Good teams know how to overcome them.
You know, Drake took less sacks too.
I like that.
Didn't get hit as much.
I think you got hit like six times, four pressures, ran the ball four times, had one sack.
We got to get hit less.
The only thing that scares me is when there's only one guy in the National Football League
that's been hit more, Cam Ward.
I don't even want to say it.
I don't know.
I'm with you.
You don't want to say it.
But that's what happens if you get hit a lot in this league.
How'd you like the uniforms?
I liked them.
I thought they looked pretty good.
I love it.
I thought they were good.
It paired well with the weather too.
Really nice.
Yeah.
I like the beanie
that are rocking too.
The beanies look good.
I like the varsity jacket.
It's kind of like this color.
Tight.
Yeah.
Kind of like this color.
Bro.
That's right.
It looks.
I like that on you too,
baby.
It's the most hyped I've been for football in a while at the game.
They do a little like pregame like little highlight reel that you narrated.
I think we're fucking sick.
My man was on his Morgan Freeman shit.
I was pumped up and then went right to gronk up in the lighthouse with front of the show Connor.
Connor what up, baby?
The lights go dim fucking jazzed up.
That was...
How did Robbie G.
Was he getting the...
Was he getting them hype?
Dude, Rob was fucking...
Every time he showed him,
was crazy, he got Mr. Craft to dance.
He smashed the Jets guitar at halftime.
I saw that.
That was all over Twitter.
The low-cash team.
Oh, my gosh.
Just gronk being gronk.
Just taking over.
Grong spiking.
We rocked Rob from like...
In the stadium, there was like a little function,
like, lounge place they took him to.
Right in the middle of the, like,
open area where the Brady statue is.
Like, it was like,
the bee.
people were just coming out of the woodwork and we were like trying to get into this like oh my god they took rob out like
exposed in the middle of the fucking oh my god it was wild but me we made it oh my god freaking are looking at each
like oh my god jeez louise if it was another 50 feet we would have been toast there in no man's land they had
the garg juice yeah oh yeah yeah robbie g bro oh and vince for it you oh randy
yeah i saw that oh my god
Big V.
Big V.
Was he with the barbecue sauce?
I didn't get the top of it.
Oh, man.
Got to have it.
Got to have it.
GTHI.
That's right.
Got to have GTHI.
Anything else from the Pats game before we move on?
Pat's game.
Love that he didn't take his mini hits.
Still too many.
One thing I notice on the empties.
When he has an empty formation, I think he ran twice.
He's looking and they were giving him, I think it was, you know, I didn't look deep dive.
I just from my TV copy.
it looked like it was like a split zone or there was some kind of zone and he was looking at
digs because they're getting on a rapport diggs had over a hundred which was good to see but he
had that hitch to the outside that he could have banged a couple times and instead he was looking
at his target and then he had nowhere to go and he ran and he didn't take a sack but he got hit
it like a yard you know what I mean those are unnecessary hits we got to you know we got to
just bang it to your henderson running back out there corner on them you know you
know it's zone you know i mean get good at those we need to we need to get those i'm sure josh
is over here telling him that 1,000 percent i love that we didn't turn the ball over you that was
a great block by uh we campbell was that last week the camp the campbell were the guy ran the hump
and he finished it will campbell finished the block i don't was that on me i don't let me look i can't
remember i think it was what's this play oh the butt fumble do we do we think that was a butt fumble
butt fumble part two?
I mean, Jets, Thursday night,
rushing quarterback,
fumbles it, hits someone's backside,
like what more do you really need?
It's fumble-ish.
I think because the ball was already on the ground,
I don't know if I'm...
But then he picked it up,
and then he fumble it again.
I don't know.
It's close.
I don't know.
You decide.
You guys let us know if that's...
Hit us up in the comments
whether the butt fumble is a part two
or this is just us wishcasting.
I think it's, I'm going no but-famble.
No bum-fum. It's more fun that way.
Not everything needs a sequel.
On to Cincinnati.
Let's go, baby.
We're on to Cincinnati.
Suspend Jemar Chase for his minute.
Just one game.
Just kidding.
I mean, definitely spit him.
You can see the video, right?
Spit game part two.
And he said he didn't.
What's up with all these?
I remember only one guy ever spitting.
That was Bill Romanowski.
Yeah, like now it's, we got two.
J. J. J. Stokes. Now we're getting
a spit a month. That's right, bro.
Got analyze the tape. See the projector.
Guys need to start swallowing.
Keith Hernandez.
All right, let's jump
into some other games.
Another big game, Bills versus
bucks. Bills go out
and win 44, 32.
A little closer than
what this score shows. It was
going back and forth most of that game
and the bills pulled away.
in the second half.
And this is how the bills have to win.
They got to jump on teams, get a lead.
Josh Allen's got to make his heroic plays,
had six touchdowns, and score 40 points.
Like, that's, because look, the Bucks with Tucker
rushed for, how many?
106.
Two touchdowns.
Dwight had 50 yards, 5.1, 5.6 to carry,
two touched.
like this was just a case of the bucks
battling banged up
on the road
with bake
and getting outmanned
but the bucks are going to get healthier
you know
when Evans they need another receiver
I think Godwin's coming back soon hopefully
I know I don't I don't think Evans will
got to get Irving back in there
they got to get Irving
they got to get Bucky Irving back in
like this was a battle
and Baker boy that boy competes
he does compete
and and I said it on the Fox kickoff show
I said this is going to be a reminder game for
Josh Allen like hey guys I'm Josh Allen
and that's what it was he didn't have two picks
you know but when you score six touchdowns
it's going to be hard to lose
I was incredible I was willing those boys to win
you know i didn't like you were you were for for the bucks no i'm saying josh allen like willed them
to win yeah yeah yeah put it on his this is exactly how i thought it was gonna look bills come out
you know backs against the wall they need to win this game they need to win this game more than
the bucks need to win this game and win this game at home but still a hell of a game by the buccaneers
to go out there and compete like that on the road yeah you know and once again that that rush defense
scares me for buffalo look the bills are going to have a shot
anytime because you have Josh Allen.
They got to start tighten it up.
This is, this is it.
We've been talking about the pasteurization period.
It's these next three before Thanksgiving.
Big facts, bro.
Then it starts getting in the cream season.
Now, with the new schedule edition game,
the cream season may have shifted kind of like, you know,
the access of the earth and the weather and pattern.
It's very, we're in the, we're still trying to do a social study on when cream season is.
Yep.
Cream season is post Thanksgiving.
But it could be maybe even post one more game after that
because of the extra game.
We should do a cream season special.
We should.
We should do a cruise season special.
Explain what cream is,
get butter out here, get some heavy cream, whipping cream.
Shout out to the farmers.
We'll figure it out.
Let's jump into another game.
Let's jump into another game.
Josh, we talked a lot about on Fox.
We talked a lot about everywhere.
Rams, Seattle.
Rams hold off Seattle.
at home, 21, 19, hold them off.
And it kind of went just the way I thought.
This way I thought, what I say?
What's going to be differential?
Turnovers?
Turnovers.
Always.
Sammy D.
Against them Rams.
He was sacked nine times before last time when he was on Minnesota.
He'd probably thinking about it.
Probably have Verson.
Who's our other guy?
Verson.
Who's the other D.
Lyman for the.
Rams really good versus and
Brian Young young young young young
Hey both quarterbacks didn't have great nights
but throw up the box score
look at a bad night for Sam Darnold
he's 29 for 44
279 yards four picks
no touchdowns no touchdowns
that's not a terrible I mean yeah it's
it's a lot of yardage
yeah what's a bad game for Matt
to you staff for 15 for 28,
130 yards, two tugs,
no picks. Both didn't have
up to par games to what they've been
playing like. You know, that's
the difference is those turnovers.
They come, they're costly,
they're momentum killers.
They set up field position for the other
team. I believe
one of those turnovers that Rams scored a
touchdown on. You know, good
teams will cap or take advantage
of that. JSN keeps
falling though. God, what a beast he is.
He's like my favorite receiver to watch right now.
He had a little, huh?
Look at this.
First player in the Super Bowl era
with at least 75 yards receiving
in each of his team's first 10 games.
Unbelievable.
Or you can say, I didn't mean to cut you off.
He ran like an out-up, out route,
which was a really cool route.
It's like a squirrel out where he went out,
burst it up,
and then got the guy to flip his hips
and then burst it out again.
He's got real good sudden,
explosiveness and quickness
and that one hander
on the sideline
smooth you know he's got a great hand
he's the full package man
I thought he was really good
he's great he's something else man
he's getting his every game it's awesome to see
Denver
holds off
and wins ugly
again against Kansas City
22 to 19
yikes i'm still not i'm still not off the kansas city train can't be they're really they're really
missing tony the offense align they're not really they're not dominating the game like they
they had been they're not getting a lot out of their run game patrick had kind of a
off game again missed a couple open guys couple deep balls that he usually hits and this is off
the bye week you know this is an unknown terrorist
But I still believe in Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid and spags in the defense.
They got to get going, though.
They got to get going.
I put the big boy pants on.
You know, they're probably not going to get the division, but they can get in.
They can get in.
You know, I for sure, if there was going to be an ugly game, they'd win it.
I said it.
You know, Denver's been winning ugly.
Don't want to try to play ugly against Kansas City because that's what they've thrived in.
it just didn't happen.
Pat had that
turnover in the red area
that kind of messed them up.
Defense couldn't get off the field.
Bonix had a solid game.
Solid game still.
You know, I think that defense,
that defense afront for Denver
is the real deal, holy field.
You worry about their inconsistent offense, though?
Who?
Denver?
Yeah, down the stretch.
Yeah, I'm with you.
I mean, going down the stretch.
Look, they got, think about it.
They got six weeks.
to get it right, you know, and Sean Payton's a smart fella.
That's one, a lot of ball games in this league.
Do you see him get a penalty?
What do you get a penalty for?
A ref ran into him.
You got to stay off the white, coach.
Got to stay off the white.
Where's the holdback guy?
Hold me back.
Look like a basketball play.
A black guy?
Yeah, I mean, they both went down, bro.
But the ref definitely did.
The ref definitely did.
Got to stay off the white.
They got to get back to the basics in Kansas City.
I'm with you.
And they got a tough one coming up.
But even still, this game was close, right?
Yeah, we're also on the road.
Can't forget that. Denver's a hard place to play.
Very hard place to play.
Let's go on the next one real quick.
And lastly, the Eagles in a defensive battle over the lions, an ugly 16 to 9.
Gameplay score.
MC, DC, OC.
What are we doing?
He just went for it again on fourth and didn't get it.
We can't, like, that was the difference.
That's crazy, bro.
Literally.
I think a lot of them were in field goal range,
and there was weather to affect the kicking game,
but Elliot, I mean, how many field goals he kicked?
Yeah, I mean, he was banging him in left and right, bro.
I got banged him in.
Gough looked a little off.
Gough looked a little off.
We weren't in the dome.
We weren't in dome.
Hey, anytime I see a, I'm sorry.
I'm sorry
But anytime I see a quarterback
Throw a glove on his hand
In a ring game
It's never gone well
I'm with you
Yeah Jake Elliott three for three baby
Did Big Ben do it
Did Big Ben throw?
Yeah
Big Ben was a Glovesman I think for a while
Yeah
Jared Goff looks different outdoors
Yeah
You saw in the in cuts
He was just a little off
And granted
He was going against a defense
That is probably top
top three defense in the league right now.
When Carter wants to play hard,
when Carter plays hard,
it's hard to stop them.
Phillips got a little sack daddy.
He's happy.
This guy goes from playing in freaking Miami
where they're trying to get a point in Madrid right now
to play him for a championship caliber team,
defense at least, with the Eagles.
He's juiced up.
Vic Vangio.
I thought that was the matchup pregame.
I talked about it on Fox.
I said,
it's hard to bet against Philadelphia
in a weather game in Philly
against a dome team.
I went against everything.
Lions had a great game against the commanders
the week before.
But I do think that if Dan Campbell is calling plays,
there's a little friction in that offense.
Yeah, it's in Washington, bro.
You ain't playing against the commanders like last one.
You're playing against Vic.
Yeah.
And I sat next to Vic after the Super Bowl that they won.
Did you really?
On the ride home to the hotel.
Oh, my God.
I didn't know that.
Guy had his briefcase.
We let him out three blocks before, went home.
I think he had like ordered room services with his wife, first Super Bowl.
We let him out.
People had no clue.
It was Vic Van Joe.
He's just walking out.
Man.
I think he was starting to study for the draft.
No way he's off.
Vic is he's a serious coach
and Cooper Dejean
he's always around the football
Blankin chip is tough
Mitchell they got a really good secondary
they got a good complimentary defense
Cooper had a pick that was nice
We got to get going
They got to find a way
Like laying out is huge
On the offensive line
They're beat up on the offensive line
I think Dickerson was out
Was he out?
I think they were banged up
Really banged up
They can't run the ball
And that's the thing
Petulow
Is that the offensive coordinator, Petulow?
Yes.
They got to figure out some route concepts
because it looks a lot of the same.
Stop routes on the outside on third and long.
Yeah, Kevin Petul.
Stop routes on third down and long.
Stop routes on the outside, third down.
And I think the defense knows it,
and they're just squatting on the routes on A.J. Brown.
He's also ran a lot of lazy routes too.
My guy, yeah, he got to, we got to get better.
We got to get over this.
We need to have some leadership in that locker room, tighten it up.
Because they have, like, their defense is really good right now, playing really good.
Okay, before we wrap up, Jack, you want to, there's a dude, there's dudes,
should we shout out some dudes?
Yeah, let's shout out a dude. Shout out a couple dudes.
Shout out a couple dudes.
How about a shout out Jacoby?
In a loss.
In a loss, loss.
Completion record, though.
47 of 57, 40, 52 yards, two kids, two picks.
The previous record held by our man, Drew Bledsoe, the game back in 1994.
What did he go?
45 completions.
Wow.
And then Jared Gough tied it in 2019, 45 as well.
Shout out Bryce Young.
Another big day.
Bryce Young.
It's, oh, my bad.
I just need,
quarterbacks don't get enough shine in this league.
I would like to shout out Miles Garrett, who had four sacks.
Fucking Miles Garrett.
And he has 15 right now.
15 through week 11.
How are we not talking more about the record being like in its sights?
It's because the Browns are terrible.
Yeah.
Dude, I always think he's in play for the record,
even if he was down like five with like the last week.
Literally.
Also, Brian Burns isn't far off either.
Burns has got like 13.
Let me see.
Meaningless.
12?
Meaningless,
but like he's got 11 and a half.
13.
13.
Yeah.
So both those guys,
I don't know if they're on pace.
I don't know if he's on pace,
but Miles Garrett definitely is.
He likes to collect him, right?
He's had nine and two games.
Anybody you were loving particularly yesterday, Jules,
dude-wise?
I'm going to give some shine to the bears.
I like this.
Ben Johnson and Caleb.
Caleb didn't have a great game.
You could see he wanted, he's like, man, we had more skin on the boat.
We had some more meat on the bone.
We could have got, you know what I mean?
Afterwards.
But like, they got some juice going.
And...
Seven and three.
Seven and three.
That division is quite open.
You know, I think it's the run game.
I think it's Tooney, Dahlman.
Jackson, they get my game ball.
Tune gets my game ball.
Shout out, Joe.
Joe Tune.
Look, it's a completely different team
when you have an offensive line.
Yeah.
Completely different teams.
Swift's going for a hundy.
90.
Menongay's going for like a hundy.
19 or 23.
You know, we got hundies everywhere.
140 on the ground, 193 through the air.
Pretty nice and balanced.
Let's go, let's go balance.
I like balance.
Well, that's another recap.
You have to think of a name to call this.
We're calling it Nut House Recap internally.
No Cap Recap?
Yeah.
Oh!
Oh, I like that.
No cap recaps tight.
I was thinking colder pizza this morning.
Oh, dude, cold pizza, RIP.
Great show.
No cap recap.
I like to pretend.
I want to bring the Nut House, the Nut House water cooler.
I like we're just chopping it up around the water cooler, bro.
It's got to get back to our cubicles after this.
Monday morning slot receiver.
I don't know.
Coments.
More comments.
No cap.
No cap.
Recap.
Let's, well, that was another NFL recap in the Nut House.

Hey.
Talking these Chicago bears.
85 bears.
He sent me some cologne.
No way.
Yeah.
Oh, we might have to go sniffing after this.
Didn't we talk about it?
He's got one coming and going.
Yeah.
Hey, don't know spoilers.
Sorry, sorry, sorry.
Oh, yeah.
Spoilers.
It was a fun episode.
We do the 85 Bears, 85.
Yeah, he sent me some clone.
I was a very nice gesture.
That's awesome.
That's fun.
I don't smell it yet.
He smelled good when he came in.
He did.
And he smelled good leaving, too.
Spoiler.
You smell good leaving.
