Cool.
We're going. Good morning. Good afternoon. Good evening.
Man, what has happened? Two weeks flew by again.
Past the one month mark. I'm not drinking alcohol, feeling pretty good.
I don't even know. I was thinking about it. Like, I don't even know.
So I saw Slaughter to Beville at the Hollywood Palladium.
It was magnificent.
I am a fan of, I made it pretty obvious.
And Jack, the guitar player, which I love as a brother, cool guy.
He asked me to do a song, Viking.
And that morning, I woke up and tried to learn it.
He sent me the guitar.
Pro file and I never I was the one guitar player that never was on guitar pro when everyone was doing it.
Okay, this is how we write songs and that's, uh, and that's how we do it.
Even the cops are here and they're like they're pissed. No one likes no one likes guitar pro.
And so throughout my whole career, I never ever mess with guitar pro ever. But it's my first time.
It's like, shit, here's guitar pro tabs.
Like, oh, God, here we go.
So I downloaded the free trial, the old seven-day trial.
I'm like, oh, shit, okay.
I can see how it could be useful.
I guess it just depends, you know, varies, like most things, with guitar and instruments.
It varies from player to player.
It's not my thing.
But I did it the old classic way I listened to song, and I found a play-through.
I was like slowing down the plate, which is really cool.
I've done it quite a few times.
I'll find like a, try to find like a 4K live video of a song I'm trying to learn.
And you could adjust the playback speed.
And I'll find like the right angle at the right moment, at the right riff.
And like for example, I did this with Slipknot's Heretic Anthem.
Because all the tabs are wrong.
All the covers are wrong.
I'm like, what is he doing like there and there?
So I would I dove into all their live video.
I would look at 4K, high quality,
and I'll find the right moments.
And like, boom, I find, okay, I'll slow it down.
And that's how I've been learning songs, I mean, quite a few years now.
So I did the same thing with Viking.
Jack had I played through.
And there's a few parts where I was like, oh, what's that?
So then I went to the guitar pro and found out what they were playing.
My people, that is actually the exact one I was watching.
How is he, how is he playing it?
Okay, so slaughter to be avail songs are way harder than suicide songs, which I don't know what I was expecting.
I wasn't expecting anything because he told me it was easy.
So I'm like, okay, this is he saying like, this is like suicide easy.
I'm going to play this song a couple times and I got it.
Is this like roots, you know?
Fucking a couple chords and the Amman?
No, I had a very hard time learning all these riffs.
That first riff, I had a really hard time.
And the changes, it just goes to show like the different heartbeat.
Some bands kind of follow how it can be so different.
Same genre, but so different than yours.
So I had to really get into their
Their kind of tempo and tempo changes
That are just not what I would do
So it was nice learning
It was nice learning a modern song
I think it really helped my playing
Actually so
If your guitar player
You shouldn't be talking shit on Slaughter songs
Because I had a hard time
Um
The intro riff
There's that one easy riff I had
It was the chorus
It was like you know
like classic open chord chorus.
I'm like, okay, the chorus here, okay.
Nice.
And, um, but yeah, they're fucking, like, they don't give a shit.
I was like, are we gonna play this once?
They're like, nah, just go up there and do it.
I was nervous, dude.
I was nervous.
Obviously, I've been on hiatus from a suicide song.
So I don't even, like, I was sitting down, like, what was the last show?
What was the last time I played?
And I don't remember.
Um, hence, uh, which is a good idea why I'm not drinking anymore.
Um, like, what was like?
I might have been Chelsea Grin.
Might have been that tour.
I really don't remember.
Maybe, um, that's kind of fucked up.
It might have been the Chelsea Grin run.
Um, or no, I wasn't there.
Or was it the Mayhem?
It might have been the Mayhem Festival because that was, okay, it might have been the
Mayhem Festival.
That's weird.
Weird. Holy moly.
So it's been a, it's been a minute.
And, uh, I think Viking is like the fourth or fifth song in, fourth or fifth.
It's kind of hard to say really fast.
Fourth, fifth.
Um, and I see the first couple songs.
I go back there on pacing.
There's like, there's like a little, like, like, platium is like a really, it's a really narrow hallway.
There's a little entry to stage.
We call a stage right, but if you're facing the stage, it'll be your left.
It's like a little opening and kind of like a little corner crevice.
I was just there.
I'm like, I don't know.
Fucking tripping out.
Oh, Jay, find a video.
Sick.
Um, I was nervous, dude.
I was really nervous.
What's cool about being nervous?
It's like, it's, you're just really excited.
You know, you're about to do something really cool.
It's like, okay, oh shit, I can't fuck it up.
I'm probably going to fuck it up and I'm going to have to accept it.
And went up there, played like shit.
I never played the playt in before.
So new stage back with the other band with a song I was learning that day.
It was a trip.
And actually what gave me some confidence was hearing so many stories here.
people yeah I've learned like a set in like a day and so and then just going and doing it the next day so that was you know that was pretty inspiring um
they had me uh jack had a spare quad in his in his uh rack it's like a pretty tall rack and uh
they had me cranking in the side fillis which which was really cool but also not cool because i'm like i'm
i know i know i'm not playing good and then you got to figure out how to headbang and really
real time. I don't know. It's a different, it's a different way to move. It's like the way they go
in, I'm like, this is not how I would like move my body naturally. So it's cool. Every band's so
different. It's, uh, it just goes to show, you know, everyone has their own, their own heartbeat.
Um, but we're all at the same at the same time. So yeah, I really, uh, no, I just, I just,
I just really appreciate Alex, Jack and the rest of the band for having me on showing a,
um, I felt honored and it was just a lot of respect on, on their part.
Really like kind of like the two eras, two different areas of the same genre.
Like they're obviously doing their thing and where I guess I don't know what you would say,
the older band, the pioneers or,
whatever you want to say,
try not to piss anybody off.
But it was really cool.
I felt honored,
and I felt the next day I was like,
I felt really like a lot of love.
And that was nice.
And people were fucking, people were stoked.
And I had a really fun time.
Also, the not drinking thing.
I was like, oh, like a lot of firsts.
And okay, like, I don't even remember the last time I haven't had a few beers and went and rocked out.
I don't remember.
There was a short period of time where when you first came back with Eddie in 2014, I wasn't drinking for a straight year prior to a show.
It's like green tea or coffee or something.
But, so it's been a while.
Years, years.
years so and uh i loved it i loved it um every week i'm feeling a better more emotional more in tune
and uh this felt feeling love more feeling feelings more for better or or for worse so when you're
nervous i guess i always used to having a beer and then oh yeah i'm not really that nervous it's
kind of cool but so that that was awesome and um so again you know thank you a slaughter for
having me um there's this really cool bar across the street i think it's called the well um kind of
like not a hidden door but it's not like out there yeah it might be the well lounge but yeah that's it
A really cool vibey spot.
Like you go in there, low lit.
A lot of red lights.
All kinds of people are in there.
All kinds.
Since there's obviously a metal show right across the street,
there's a lot of, you know, our fans are in there.
They're playing suicide silence, which I don't like.
It just makes it awkward.
And, but I did meet some people there.
I saw Franz from Attila.
And I'm catching up with him.
and had two
mickalo zeros
two of them
and i'm telling you this is so weird
like okay i'm here
i'm at the bar
i'm connecting with people
um i'm drinking
and then you leave
and you feel the same
it's like wow
it's kind of like stupid i know it's stupid to talk about it's like you
okay i had two beers
I'm leaving and I'm sober
I was like okay
Like little fucking things like that are really cool
And uh
Yeah I went and I went in a show
I hung out
Um
It's a good feeling man
To go to a bar and leave and like you feel
Fine
That's
So it's still a recent
A new feeling
Um
I saw
Uh
I think I think I talked about it on the last solo
Where I'm at
Uh
with the Lemon God at the YouTube Theater,
which is connected to SoFi.
Pretty sick.
You know, I don't, I don't fucking like a ticket master.
Like, it's,
it's always sketchy with the times.
Um, I'm like, okay, like,
it says 7 p.m.
Is that 7 p.m. showtime?
Or it says like 6.30 or 6.
I'm like, is this showtime or doors?
And it's never clear and it fucking pisses me off.
Because this is a far drive.
I want to see Bog.
That's kind of the main reason why I'm going.
I want to see the Bog in a big stage to be a proud uncle.
Just, you know, Uncle Max.
Uncle Max, I think people have been saying I've been doing.
And I got there and I think it's, I think it said 630.
Ticket master said.
And no, it was wrong.
it was uh it was showtime i was fucking pissed
i got there anything fit for an autopsy was already playing i'm like oh well
completely missed them i hate when that happens i hate
i just fucking put doors and a time
how much money does ticket master make
the least you can do is put the right time on the fucking website dude
um but it's it's all good
uh
of course
another bar story
I go to the bar
now I'm in no rush
I already missed the band I wanted to see
and
so no bar had a non-acoholic
beer but they said there's one that does
and it's around the corner
and around the corner where
and then went
there's another bar like nope it's that one
and it was like there's like a little bar
like a little kind of stand
but it was
a Michalada bar
I was like, okay, I'm getting a little bit horned up.
And this is really a sweet cashier bartender there.
And they had a best day.
I believe it's called Best Day, non-accoholic beer.
And she was telling me how, yeah, I had the fight for this saying there's people that are going to go to show that aren't going to drink.
And they're going to have these.
So, yep, it's the best day brewing.
And man, it was, here I am talking about non-accoholic beer again.
And obviously I'm getting horned up already, just talking about it.
So this one bartender said, yeah, I mean, it was, I had a fight to get these beers in here.
So she basically made, made the night.
It's like, well, do you want to mix it?
And this is a, I'm a mutual out of bar.
I'm like, a non-anaholic.
Mechalada? Yeah, that's what we're going to do.
What's up, everybody?

Thank you so much for the support.
We're at the Lama God Show.
We're going to have a Michelada.
And it was, it was amazing.
And it was feeling.
You know what?
I wonder if there's some.
signs to this. I'm sorry, Jay, I'm putting it on a spot. It's a lot of info. But does alcohol
make you, uh, how do you say, does it? It makes you not hungry. It's just very empty.
Like, is there some signs behind that just makes you, I don't know, it just fucking makes you
not full. So yes, alcohol often makes you hungry.
The phenomenon sometimes called drunkies.
That's a word drunkies by stimulating brain cells that promote hunger,
confusing appetite, regulating hormones.
And causing drops in blood sugar despite being high in calories.
Alcohol triggers pathways that trick the brain into thinking the body is starving.
We got it.
Straight from the internet.
So you know it's true.
Dude, there's something to it, man, because I've been,
uh,
I'll have one and a two.
I'm like, oh, I'm like full.
This is full.
I'm full.
I can't even, like,
food is like it tastes different.
And it won't like,
I'll get half or three quarters of what I used to eat.
And then just like,
I'm full.
I can't even force myself to eat this.
So this actually explains it.
And I had this meet a lot of.
I'm like, it's like a meal.
I was like, drink one.
I'm like, oh shit, I'm fucking.
I'm buff.
And it's cool.
They have like this, the YouTube theater has this really cool.
It's like a place where you can stand outside.
Excuse me.
Sorry.
And there's like this, if you've been there, you know there's like a big water kind of area.
It was nighttime.
It was really cool.
It was California.
It was perfect.
outside. Yeah, it's called, I think, for the Lake Park. Probably it. Yeah, that's probably
it. Lake Park. And a really big, nice open water and a nice slice of weather is perfect. So I
proceeded to stay out there for, I don't know, an hour. I missed the following two bands because
it was kind of, it felt like a moment. I was like drinking. I was hanging out with this nice
couple. Shout out to Sean
and his lovely lady.
I want to be outside right now.
It's a rare where you're at a show you get to be outside
and it's water and it's beautiful and it's nice.
You know, I'm just
stand outside. It was fucking sick.
It was awesome.
What am I ranting about?
But that was cool.
Then we've got to get to the questions.
Okay, I'm going to wrap this up.
And then I saw a few songs from Lema God and super inspiring.
That's the best I ever heard him.
Best they ever looked.
The set list was like insane.
And I've seen him a ton of times.
And I was inspired because I was like, okay, they're older.
Mark's sober.
Mark Morton.
He's sober.
Art Cruz, he's the recent sober.
guy he's never played that good he was on it and i've known art for a very long time um i'm very
proud of him and he's like you don't he's never played that way and uh never sounded that good at
i don't know something it was like a weird something was was was was was clicking i love seeing bands
do that where like they become them and it takes like a whole career to get there and
something i'm looking forward to doing um which might actually tie into a question later and um
I was like looking okay Willie he's he's sober
Randy he's sober
like 80% of the band's sober
and they're fucking doing a damn thing
that's that that's what I want to do
sounds good looks good the crowd was
vibing I'm okay you could do
you know just a different way
it was just cool to see like a different way of doing things
and uh
and then it was late so I left and
um
when homes slept but yeah that was
um that was pretty sick
it was a great drive great show
I just want to add something real quick
before I get to the questions
So
Yeah obviously I'm talking about
Non- Alcoholic beer a lot
And I heard someone
Bring up
Yeah, but that's not for everybody
Which is true
So I just want to say it works for me
I don't want to give advice
I just say what I do
This work for me
This doesn't work for me
Um, you could kind of inspire you to a try or not try it.
But for me, non-alcoholic beer is working.
For some people, it's a fucking trigger.
Um, so it might not work for you.
Um, for me, I have, I had non-accoholic beer.
I'm very satisfied with the taste.
I get horned up.
Um, and it does not make me want to drink.
alcohol. That's for me. For some people, you're going to take a sip of this. And if you feel
triggered to drink an actual beer or do shots, yeah, dude, you're not in this category. So
keep that in mind. I'm talking about myself. This works for me. I know a lot of people that
is this is working for. Um, especially like the game now. This is so many great beers out there. Um,
I had a golden road yesterday. But, yeah,
just kind of keep that in mind it works for me it works for a lot of people but just keep in mind like
if you drink it and you're fucking like you're getting um okay like we kind of quote to have a shot right now
not you're you're not in that category and that sucks to be you but uh yeah what's up uh
what's the j update man shit horned up yeah are you hitting the gym dude yeah a little bit
been trying to be consistent with it.
Yeah, dude.
Bulkin, forever bulking.
Forever bulking?
Forever bulking.
Ladies, probably happy.
I think so.
She's been feeling me up a little bit.
Dude, that's the best, dude.
When you get the, like, positive, like, reinforcement.
Oh, yeah.
It keeps you motivated, you know.
Yeah, it's been chill.
Yeah, I had a little, we had that little weekend break,
plus a little half week break.
Yeah.
Back at it.
Feels cool.
Feels nice.
Sick.
Do you do anything cool?
No, I just went on a couple hikes with the lady.
I've been trying to do that more.
What do you hike at?
We hiked it.
We went to Laverne yesterday.
Where's that?
Kind of by San Dimas, I guess.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Sister city.
Yeah, anywhere, really.
I went to Mount Baldy the other day.
Mount Baldy?
Yeah.
we're just hiking
that's great
is that by
raging waters
San Demas
is that is that by there
oh yeah
yeah yeah
I'm just trying to get
some greenery
you have to man
yeah
yeah I'm looking for
some new place to hike
with the lady
oh yeah
so so San Demas
and Mount Baldi
San Demas
Laverne
yeah you know
by the foothills
by mountains
there's always trails
dude that's a new
that's a new name
for you
dick.
Mount Baldi.
Mount Baldi.
Hell, yeah.
Hey, baby, you want to, you want to hike Mount Baldi real quick?
A quick, quick five minutes.
Yeah.
Well, sick, man.
I think we're ready to hop into some questions.
All right.
All right.
Let's go.
Number one.
Oh, classic question.
Classic fan.
Dustin Chuggs.
do you think the workload of the band podcast
compounded with your regular podcast
led to your hiatus from the band?
Nice. Good question.
Not really because even though it was tough
and it was a lot of work on me and Jay
it was other stuff
that compounded.
So I think it might seem like
might seem like that but there's other stuff
that was going on I kind of needed to step back from
without going too far into it
I mean I don't know I've been
been jamming this same thing
on the same rise since 2002
so
2026 did we take that yet
2025 right
I don't know how many how many years is that fucking 20 23 years of the same same thing so uh
it just little things compounded big things but uh obviously when i went on a hiatus i still did this
this is still coming out every week um it did allow me to focus more on this which we uh we fix a lot of
stuff and got a good system going.
But also, like, getting older and personal life was compounding.
There is something about turning 40.
You know, you start thinking about your life and stuff and like, okay, what am I doing?
You need to clear ahead.
So I guess you can say this life compounded.
You know, we all have our own lives and shit fucking.
gets overwhelming.
But it's just,
both are fine.
It's just,
I think that combined
with the personal life,
combined with,
uh,
just your average band stuff,
you know,
it's not anything new.
Uh,
you're in marriage with four people.
So,
I was kind of,
I think of break from,
from the guys too.
You know,
it's been so long.
You're just in like this,
uh,
confined space all the time.
You're in like a metal tube constantly.
or a small room
and just needed like a little
okay let's just step back
and also what really
what really also helped me like
okay I need to do this was
this is something that I can't outwork
that was like the matter
what I do right now
it's not going to
do so many man hours
that could get through this
it needs to take a step back
so it worked
you know clear-headed now
came back a lot more grateful
and I re fell in love with this
and we'll see what the future holds
but yeah I think from the outside
I might seem that way
but it's just everything at once
I think we all kind of go through that
where like
what's the cliche Jay
like it's the straw that broke the camel's back
right? It's like the
like a bunch of little things
and like
something happens
Oh shit like I need to fucking
It seems like this big thing
But actually it was a lot of small things
That's that small things that happened in your personal life
It kind of leads to just like this big breakdown
So kind of like that
But in a much better spot now
Yeah what's uh
Dustin thank you for your question man
And um
we'll see what's happening in the future
Cool number number two
Oh, here we go.
Ooh, it's a powerful.
This is a powerful name.
Stand without fear.
Nice.
Garza, my man, honest question.
When you first started music and the scene,
what helped you push through the bullshit
and getting accepted and getting your name out?
Hmm.
Um, was funny about,
that is it's uh what works back then will not work now like uh like getting the name out
and getting through bullshit was a little bit of ego being stubborn um which both don't work now
like when you get older like that that kind of stops working um i always i always tell people this
like I don't know what I'm doing, but I always, I've always known since I was a child to anything I do with the band in this, I know what I want and I know what I don't want. How you get there, we're going to figure it out. So I think it's important for people just know what you want and more importantly what you don't want for like, let's say suicide songs. Like there's like, okay, there's a sound. You know, I know I want to do this and I love it.
There's no, it's a fine line between ego, following your heart, and just pure delusion.
It's extremely difficult to even find the words to explain.
I don't think you can.
I'm trying my best right now.
Like, this is, it's a fine line.
Like, delusion, what you're confident in, you following your heart and dreams, and just pure delusion.
That's a fine line.
It's a,
and a lot of luck.
A lot of fucking luck.
Now, just a big reason why we're still here is the foundation.
The foundation, that first, that first, I always say this,
that first suicide silence brick is, it's, uh, it's invincible.
Um, so when things fell apart quite a few times,
always had that foundation.
Like, like the music was always,
pure. People could say what they want about Eddie or whatever happens in the future or what was
happened in the past, you know, five years. But that first brick lay down for the suicide
sounds career was it's, it's invincible. And that was pure heart. That was pure. Okay, this is what
this is what it is. I love this music. And, uh, never wavered the music. So always, you know,
know, I didn't do a lot of things right in my career. So when, so the few things I did
right, you know, that I hold that to my, to my heart. And that, and that's one of the few
things out of all the mistakes, out of all the failure, always had that first brick
laid down. And that helps you get through bullshit. And valleys and tough times, you have your
foundation, you know. I do have good friends that I could rely on or contact, hang out with,
family
stable family
that only gets you so far
now I have you know a stable woman in my life
and that's helped me the past almost seven years
so that's
it took me a while to realize that you can't do things by yourself
it works when again like when you
when you're in your teens
and you're just discovering
you even have a weener
like is just
like oh should I have a wiener and then like you're trying to do stuff and then you can barely have a you barely have thoughts when you're in high school and then um so you do the best of what you have which you know for me was stubborn
ego didn't listen to people like I had my this is the sound and that's it uh whatever it was said here what was popular this didn't matter but now it's like it's different
now like I can do that now like ego analysis will actually make the band fall apart so I guess
without knowing I think I'm kind of figuring out right now like you know like uh because bullshit
never goes away either um you're talking we're just talking about 2002 so uh three four five six
twenty four years still dealing with bullshit I mean look look look at your own life you get older
you get more wiser
there's still life to deal with
there's still another problem
another thing you gotta figure out
another emotion
that you got to figure out
same thing with music
you know is just
I still go there bullshit
and
the past week I've been journaling
I don't want to talk about a lot
that's been helping
so kind of evolving
with that
man how do you get through
how do you get their bullshit
I could talk about
this subject for a long time
so I better
cut it short um
confidence too
I mean I just confidence and
and uh
following your fucking heart
dude the gut
following the gut
so yeah stand without fear
thank you for your question man
yeah that that's a question
and probably pop up a lot and
we'll re-answer again and again
uh let's see
ooh
X
rockerful X
is there any other
accomplishments
uh
Well, can I talk accomplishments you still want to achieve?
Yes.
Is there time?
That is the question.
Yeah, let's see.
What do I want to do?
Not break up.
That's gotten very close many times.
So, stoked that hasn't happened.
So now the door is open of what I want to do.
I've been very vocal about one of my dreams and about the Fender stuff.
So what I learn also do you like, man, just staying in the game sometimes.
Like, holy shit, just outlasting people.
Well, like, that's success in its own.
Any other accomplishments you still want to achieve?
On the top of my head right now, it's, you know, my priorities are different.
I'm lucky that music might actually support me.
So, you know, I want to buy a house, you know, with solely,
solely with suicide and podcast money.
That's straight up, I'll be honest.
Like, that's what I want to do.
So that, that's a big goal.
It's pretty grandiose given where I am at.
I'm in Southern California.
I was just having this conversation a couple weeks ago.
with my lady hey what if
if money wasn't an issue what do you want to live
and uh
she said orange county
if you're not aware what what orange county is
it's uh
it's uh
people think i'm from LA I'm not
like we're not it's it seems like it
look at a map but
LA is it's you might even
it's a different place dude like I don't like
going there
but uh
it is kind of a hub of
where things happen. A lot of shows are there.
But I mean, yeah, I'm, I'm over an hour outside of L.A.
Orange County is without traffic, which is never.
That's 30 plus minutes away.
It's very outside of L.A.
It's like a whole different area.
So we're in Orange County now, which is Santa Ana.
We might be in the most, yeah, Santa Ana is known as a cheapest spot in Orange County,
which is why does podcast exist?
Got very lucky with this spot.
but we're talking about uh and it hit me and it was like oh i would live there like where do i want
to be at and i was like i want to be in maybe irvine maybe irvine might be a spot and i don't know
if you if you don't know what irvine is how do you say this the only way i could describe
irvine is a very expensive place when i go there i'm like all people here have money all right
It's a pretty expensive place.
So that's a pretty grandiose goal I have to someday live in Irvine, California, or at least around there, like pretty close.
And it's graniteous because I want to do it with music.
And I think it's possible now.
And as the weeks go on, it's been a weird month.
Like I had a few thoughts, but just this is one of them, like, I wouldn't have thought this two months ago.
like the possibility
it seems so far away
but now
I have a more clear head
and it seems
actually attainable
so that's a pretty big
goal I have
with me and my lady
maybe future family
we'll see
I got a little bit of money
like a couple months ago
it's like man
And this was like, it popped in there.
Like, like the 20-year-old kind of clipped in there.
Like, hey, you should, you should buy a car.
You should buy Cadillac.
And I was like, well, it's still there.
That fucking dumb ass is still in there.
Just to waste money.
Throw money away.
I don't know where my money went in my 20s.
So, it feels like a second chance at life to, uh,
I'll save money.
That's my,
that's my old car.
I will buy it.
I will buy this car again.
But when it's right.
It's cool.
I'm,
you know,
saving money.
You know,
I'm thinking about,
thinking about,
I might fucking bore everybody.
I'm thinking about mutual funds,
the IRAs,
retirement,
all that stuff.
So it's,
it's possible.
Possible with a clear mind.
There's some stuff I want to do.
can't say too much with the guitar tone effects it's probably all I can really say um
something's what happens sooner and later um but with the help of all you guys um it's cool to get
I'll just have this conversation with Jay today like it's kind of crazy like I get some
stuff now just from the pod like kind of like some some free stuff I'm like damn like just
the you know all you allowing
um
me to be a part of your life every week you know it's giving me
some some leverage and pool
which I didn't have with a band I still don't have with a band
um so that's opened up some other possibilities
of what I I could do with music
um
so without saying too much yeah so
the defender is obvious
a place to live
um
place where
uh yeah just afford with just just music this music this is music and um it's possible now not being an idiot
with my money i don't know where my money went in my 20s dude i went to fucking i would go to
i would go to buffalo wild wings and buy everybody yeager bombs what a fucking idiot dude um
it comes up too like you know i'll buy everybody drinks you fucking shut up you're an idiot
that dumb party
it comes up.
It's always there.
He's got to tell it to shut up.
Yeah, and just
again, yeah, just more
more,
uh,
more guitar stuff.
Um, uh,
just sharing,
finding ways to share the tone.
Like,
we have like the quad cortex tone
on,
uh,
on our Patreon,
but there's other stuff I kind of want to do.
Uh,
that gets people more access.
Um,
I can't say too much
about it but yeah there's there's things there's things brewing um fuck am i going to have a kid
i don't know i'm gonna have a freaking kid me i'm me uh people already say i'm uncle maxing so my
dad max too i don't know we'll see we'll see but yeah uh thank you for your question um
we'll see what what the future holds just keep keep watching keep listening i'm not going to go
anywhere.
All right.
Number, uh, this actually might be the same question.
Oh yeah, yeah.
Yeah, well, we, we can answer it.
Brandon, one, two, three.
If you had to leave SoCal for good, where would you move?
So I'm lucky, man.
I'm lucky that, uh, uh, the band's been almost everywhere.
I forgot how many times people in the South America.
Australia, Asia, Japan, Europe, United Kingdom, Mexico, Canada, Hawaii, Russia, India, India once.
And there's this, I think I think we talked about it here before, there's like this, when we get into L-EX and we're driving home.
There's this
It's the off ramp from
The 91 to the 15 that hits my exit and every time I hit it, I'm like
I don't know I can't I can't explain the feeling. It's just like oh this is where I live
This is Corona
This is green. It's nice
It's just just just the way like the off ramp is is like it's high. It's like a high off ramp. So you kind of see
You get a good. You get a good.
view of what's uh what's going on it is a yeah when you see pictures of it it's a crazy off-ramp
there's a lot going on there it's a lot of people that's horned up trying to get to work
or go or go to the bar and meet i meet a date you know there's a lot of shit going on but i think
whenever i think about it man i'm doing all i can to stay here it's pretty common you know
People, especially in bands, will move out of California because it's cheaper.
And they could, uh, which, you know, I have more power to them.
That's sick.
But, uh, there's something about the grind of California that I enjoy.
It keeps you on, on your toes.
I personally enjoy.
Um, keeps me focused.
Um, but I just don't see my, I, I just can't even, I tried.
I, I can't even imagine living outside the country or, or,
or the state.
Watch, I'm fucking out of state
in five years from now.
Who knows?
But,
uh,
I said right now,
I'm doing all I can to stay here.
It's,
um,
we're talking,
uh,
maybe,
you might get an apartment in Chino Hills,
which is still Corona area.
Um,
that's off of 71 freeway.
Chino Hills is pretty cool.
um like you're pretty separated but still you know still place to go affordable but uh i can't
since so cow is every time we fucking come back it's like damn this place is fucking and corona is sick
dude i fucking love it here man i love it and uh i did live in riverside for a while with my high
school buddy i still talk to still a great friend of mine
David he let me move in when
right after Mitch passed away he let me
I really needed a place to stay
and uh
he gave me a room for cheap dude it was like
$5,000 bucks rent
I'm in Southern California dude
and I got my own room
clean house it was like
I was there for a few years he really helped me out
and uh
and we still hang out and go to
brewery um besides that man i just but also riverside is basically corona it's like connected it's a
connecting town it's not like you're i mean my parents house was still so like a few exits away
same with chino it's like the neighboring town but uh i can't leave soCal man just that drive
that fucking fifth that that that 91 to 15 after a long shitty flight after a 14 hour flight from
who knows where.
It still gets me.
Like, wow.
This is Southern California.
This is Corona.
Wow, it's fucking beautiful.
But yeah, I'm lucky, man.
I'm lucky that Suza Sons
gave me this perspective.
And maybe there's like,
oh, maybe I'm biased.
Maybe there's like a,
I don't know,
maybe there's like a childhood attachment to it.
They say that with food.
Like, you ever take someone
to like your favorite restaurant?
I'm like, this is the best.
Because you have that attachment to it and then they're like,
that's all right.
They're like, fuck you.
And then it might be like that, but it's a fucking cool town, man.
It's growing a lot.
Yep.
Appreciate your question, man.
Let's do the, uh, we'll fucking hammer through, do this one.
All right.
Hello visitor.
Still meditating regularly.
I heard that you all did transatlantic.
I always had trouble saying this word
Transcendental
Meditation
When making the self-title album
Love that album by the way
We did talk about that, huh?
Yeah, they
They call it TM
Is that out there?
Did we talk about that shit?
I don't know
Yeah, right before, obviously
that record was, is what it is
And I appreciate you
jamming it
Yeah, they
They call it TM
And I remember
what uh what Beatles record did they write um where they were all they were all doing TM
um highly okay so seeking spiritual guidance beyond material success this pivotal highly
productive retreat led to the writing of many songs for the white album and abbey road
despite the band members leaving at different times
So yeah
So the band went and saw a
Go
So they went and saw the
And
Marhaari
Ishi
Yogi
Yeah so
So once I found out they did this
It sparked my curiosity
Because
I was already meditating at the time
This simple stuff, like a guided
10 minute
fucking
10 minute thing
a 20 minute thing
and I read
a book
it might have been
through
through the same guy
the Maraishi
I can't say that word
Marishi
I think he has a book
on a
on TM
yeah there it is
Science of Being
So science of being
An Art of Living
Transcendental
Meditation
Very hard read
I don't know
I have fun with it
But then again
I might be in a different spot
In my life
So if you check it out
You might like it
So
Right before it is self-titled
The Beatles sparked my curiosity
I found out about this guy
And then I read the book
Which even sparked
More curiosity about TM
And then
My big takeaway from that book
Wasn't even
Sometimes you read a book man
And you get like
one golden nugget sometimes.
It's just one like random thing.
And there is a section in there where it talks about karma.
And it made me rethink about karma.
Also you got to also like the age.
You got to think about age.
I mean when was that?
We're talking more late 20s.
So age is a factor there.
Still very, you know, trying to find yourself.
Still very confused.
looking for solutions, which is an interesting time, I think, in all our lives.
So I read this very hard book, and there's a, yeah, I remember there's a section about karma.
And I know a few people don't believe in karma.
I personally believe in karma.
And it's a section there where, oh yeah, I think that too, where karma will, it, um, it hit, like,
It explained it in this way.
It hits the wall, comes back to you.
Goes outside the wall.
Hiss the tree, come back to you.
It goes outside.
Hits the stars.
Comes back to you.
And then when you're not alive anymore,
the karma is still reacting
and then it actually will affect the people closest to you.
And that fucking freaked me out.
How I think people are so focused on it on themselves.
where they focus on their own karma,
but their own karma will affect,
it affects people closer to you,
and that shit fucking freak me out.
It goes beyond the walls.
I mean, small things or big things.
That shit fucking freaked me out.
You're like, oh, okay, this isn't,
by fuck up.
It doesn't affect me.
It affects everybody.
And it keeps going.
It keeps bouncing off shit,
bouncing off the tree,
and then stars comes right back to you.
which is uh i believe it's true um but yeah uh regularly which is the first part of your question
yes uh i think i need to to be honest to you guys uh i should deepen the practice more i've been
doing like five minutes in the morning i'll sit there thinking about my breath i'm looking for a new
practice because uh a podcast fucked me up i was doing like the calm app for a while which did it
help. It's like a guided meditation. Super simple. You could choose two minutes, five minutes,
10 minutes, 15, 20. I think it's a little pricey. But, uh, and then someone said something
on a podcast and that fucked me up. It was like, yeah, it's kind of like a weird thing where you're
meditating, but you're meditating with, with your phone, but you're supposed to be meditating
without a phone, right? As a whole purpose of meditating as being, you know, present and
kind of being, uh, opening your, that self-awareness, but it's funny that you do it on the phone,
right? And it fucked me up. So I stopped doing it. And I, uh, I haven't really found a solid practice
yet. Now this question kind of opens up the, um, the door where I probably should. But I still do it,
you know, five minutes, sit there. I try to do it with, with, with Leo, Leo the cat out in the backyard.
We'll fucking just chill out there for 10 minutes. Just think about nothing. It helps, dude.
it helps especially lately
it seems so
I'll end it with
with this it seems so
fucking pointless and you never get good at it
it's one of those things you like you don't get good at it
but you need to do it
and the times where you think it's pointless
is that's actually when you need to do it
um
I'm meditating at yeah 27
so we're
talking like at least 12 years of experimenting with it i'm i'm terrible at it's just i compare it to
yoga too like i do yoga but i'm not good at it but you get the full benefits of it though
like you when you do it and you get all shit that you feel better like you get the full
benefit same same with meditation if you're like if you're bouncing off the fucking walls
in your in your brain your skull you know it's it's doing the work like you're doing a great job
It's just funny how still it's like
So hard to be present during it. It's this
Coming from someone that's done it over a decade. It's like it's funny. It's still like
It's still tough, but uh
I recommend it um
Obviously it's not for everybody but if you're curious about new shit to try
Oh, excuse me um
Try it out. You might like it and
I would start like
just
simple
this don't even do TM
don't do TM don't even do a guy to just fucking sit down
just try to just try to sit down
that's the toughest part that's the toughest thing dude
just sit down and
that's what I've been doing
until I find a more solid practice
but uh
just time
to sit down for five minutes
do for a minute
Who cares?
A minute is better to no minutes, right?
And, uh,
5, 10, I find a
noticeable,
uh,
difference.
Again,
when you get older,
it's just,
like,
little clicks,
little,
uh,
ideas pop up because you have room.
Your mind's not fucking bounce off the fucking walls.
But,
uh,
but,
yeah,
I really appreciate your question.
I've been choosing questions more like this.
because I believe it was the first solo
we talked about not drinking
I was pretty overwhelmed on the response
did really well
and I was like I purposely pick questions
how more personal and less about music
and I was very surprised how they all did
I was very surprised
so it's kind of giving me more confidence
to pick like this stuff I want to talk about
just personal stuff
and then we'll sprinkle in
music.
Normally I will play guitar, but I forgot my rig.
So
next time.
Well, next time I'm next solo.
I'll be introducing
a new piece of gear. So that's something to
look forward to two weeks from now.
I forgot my main rig,
but when we come back,
we're going to have something fresh.
And you probably
already know what
it is.
So yeah, thank you for your question
and good luck on your
we got a line six spider
are they still making those things
and a spider is still killing it dude
but fuck it dude
sounds good
I have a spider in
in my room is awesome
gets out the idea
um
yeah it's fucking sick
well yeah thank you for all those questions
shit we got a fucking hammer
through these
let's uh
try and
think I'm going to approach this man.
So this happened right after, right before.
Was it a podcast with the Treu, I think?
Or, yeah, we just found out about, about Bo.
Like someone fucking Bo from a Harm's Way and Hardlaw.
Remember someone texts me.
And, you know, sometimes that you get news and like, it won't compute.
You're like, what?
Nah, what the fuck is this?
And then I saw the years
Um, it was, yeah, it was this exact post.
Someone, someone texts me.
Bo, 1987 to 2006.
I was like, what am I looking at?
Like, what I don't know what I'm looking at.
And then, uh, yeah, the reality sets in that, uh, he, um, yeah, he, uh, he, uh, passed away.
Um,
87 so that'll that'll be
38
because I'm I'm 85
so I'm 40
so was he
is he 38 years old man
a young gentleman still
I was
it sounds like 38
and uh
it's fucking sad man
38
has passed away at 38
not so fucking sad man
it goes to show
man they really didn't say
exactly what happened but I think we all
I think it's kind of like common sense
like maybe what happened.
You never know what someone's going through, man.
You just don't.
I think we're all...
I think we're all really good at putting it on a face.
And I wonder what happened to him.
I wonder if he...
Like a thought popped up in there
and he just fucking went down that rabbit hole.
Like, what was he thinking, man?
I wonder what
like what causes
what causes this
because even in like bad days
I'll be thinking I'm like you
it's so easy to go down in like a rabbit hole
you can open up a door
in your own fucking mind
and explore something
that's not even fucking real
and
oddly enough it happens more when you get more clarity
which is fucking scary
yeah they
They have a goal
Go fund me for a boat
But that I mean they reached their I mean it's it fucking blew up
Yeah yeah they they don't need need our help
It's fucking it's it blew up
It was just unfortunately it's great
But um
Yeah remember we were
To help with Mitch's daughter
And her future which was
Always Mitch's goal
Um
We like made these like shirts
Um really cool design
and it blows up you know and like it's such a weird it's a weird it's a weird it's just a weird
fucking feeling like um like you're happy that it's blowing up but but but the reason is
fucked um it's like i Mitch accomplished this goal but at what cost and uh yeah everyone
bought those shirts dude i think even like hot topic took him like it's just
everybody was just down to a support
it's such a weird
it's a weird thing
this is
this is doing well
but like it
why though
yeah I was uh I was in the car
driving here and I was jamming
um
harm's way
uh
which I probably even talk about
that's how even going to end the pod
um
my favorite was that
they had they had
They're fucking heavy.
I mean, heavy shit.
And then my favorite was, uh, it's off rust, uh, infestation.
There's a fucking riff in there.
I was like, holy shit, dude.
It was like a fucking top string riff.
And if you, if you hit the top string, dude, I'm just in.
Like you fucking got me, dude.
If you hit a fucking nice, simple top string, four, four.
I mean, I'm just, I'm just locked in.
and uh i don't i can't even i can't even imagine what colin's going through or his family or his lady
there's really nothing you there's really nothing you can say um you could show support which is nice
like i like i remember um man it's fucking sad it's so sad man um um
It didn't click till later where it was like, oh yeah, I remember the people that hit me up that first day.
So it does something.
It does.
But there's nothing to, but also at the same time, there's nothing to say.
But there's something to be said about hitting the person up, right?
All you really say is like, I'm sorry.
at the
the first two phone calls I got was from
our previous A&R person from Central Media
Steve Joe, he was the first person to call
and then
and then
I mean what
what do they say and then what do you
say right and I was like
I realized I couldn't talk so I hung up
and then
the next phone call was Rob Flynn
but I learned that I shouldn't answer it and then the text started coming in
I was like oh shit this is so coming back around I think putting comments helps
you have a number a phone call which they probably won't pick up or ever call you back
but I think the actual act is something there is something to be said about that the text
I think help
like a short something
I think
it's better than nothing
because
your brain goes like
oh they're going through a lot
I'm not getting him up
this happens
pretty much every time
I see someone I know
pass away
like okay
what are you gonna
your brain goes like
okay
they're going through a lot
I don't want to remind them
but I think it's better
just to
just send
some some love
It's so sad, man
And these podcasts
With Harlore and Bo and Colin
They're gonna live forever
And
So obviously check out Harlore
He's right there, man
It's weird when people die
Um
Because in a weird way
They're more alive than ever
Like you see them more
Like you hear them more
You know, I put on, you know, harm's way.
Well, there he is.
I never had a conversation with Bo.
But this music is sick.
And, well, he's right there.
Everything he probably feels about the planet is through the riffs.
And it's just fucking sad, man.
So shout out to Bo and a hard lord man.
Rest in peace, brother.
Another record I was jamming.
was a post-human
that's also
in my
it's how
I'm gonna close it
but um
it's so fucking sad man
wow
now with
with death
things just transcend
unfortunately
it is
it goes cross genre
like when there's
when there's a death dude
like everyone hits you up
and everyone kind of understands
and then you're put into
like a really weird category
of a handful of people in bands
um
Yeah, when we first came back with Eddie, like, getting hit up by almost random people, like big bands.
You're like, oh, yeah, I forgot.
Like, your, uh, your singer is dead or your guitar player is dead.
I forgot.
Your bass player is dead.
Now you're in, you're in like this category.
It's weird.
It's a weird thing to being.
I remember when I was late 20s, I heard someone say, um, when you turn 30, people start dying.
Oh, my goodness, dude.
it's one of those unfortunate things
that is so true
well as always
I try to make these things short
and now we're our 10 in
all right
um
Jay anything that we
we should cover
uh
went to the moon
we did go to the moon
but it's probably at the moon right now
and saying fuck you guys
I'm at the fuck
isn't that kind of weird dude
like where um
man
there's so much going on
in our phones and the planet
that we forgot people were
going to the moon
how many people went went to the moon
four
four people went to the moon i think one of them is from pomona jay
Victor glover
Victor glover he had a
Ontario high school
he had a crazy dream
motherfucker went to the
around the moon.
Wow.
How many days did the trip take?
Seven days.
The Artemis II mission is roughly a 10-day,
specifically seven days,
20 hours and 19 minutes based on,
okay.
So seven, 10 days?
Wow, you want the space for a week?
Wow, dude.
Okay, real quick.
I'm not going to open up the door, but...
Um...
Do you believe in the first moon landing, J?
Do you think we actually went...
Went to moon, landed, and then left?
Uh, yeah.
Because I looked into it a little bit.
Oh, yeah?
Yeah.
I mean, it wasn't like...
It was just to beat the Russians.
Of course.
It was a space race, uh, military dominance, technological thing.
Hmm.
And, uh, and the Russians confirmed it.
So that's why they didn't really argue with it.
Oh.
But that was it.
There's no reason to go back.
Oh, there's no reason.
Like, why?
Like for science.
Like, it wasn't about science.
It was just about beating the Russians.
Of course.
So.
It's, this whole planet is as a competition, dude.
Wow.
Um, I go back and forth, dude.
I don't know.
But I do believe the trip, though.
Because you don't have to land.
And if it's only a way.
week, week 10 days, you could, you could survive.
I wonder what they saw, man.
They saw the planet.
Like, they, they actually, man.
At that point, who did you hang out with?
Say, hey, dude, I fucking went to the moon.
And you're fucking, and you're talking about Instagram.
Fuck, what do you?
How do you relate to people now, man?
You fucking, you saw the planet, dude.
You went to space.
72 photo
wow
2026
why does this
72 look
look better
I think they got the dark side
because you can see the
the sun
would be on the other side
okay
that's where we live
we are literally
on that fucking sphere
that that's fear
love
hate
murder
yeah
beautiful fucking
moments
beauty
that's a crazy
place, man. We fucking live
there. We live there, dude.
There's a clip where the
astronauts talking about
how everything we've ever known
just exists
on that little thing.
Wow. Holy crap.
Well, shout out to
Victor, representing Pomona,
dude. 701 freeway.
We were just talking about it earlier.
Like, what a crazy, what a fucking
crazy dream, dude. I'm going
to space. You know, like,
Dude, you're an idiot.
And he fucking did it.
Wow.
He's got to stay in school.
Yeah, wow.
Congrats, man.
What an accomplishment.
He had a statement?
Oh, yeah, yeah.
That was his little speech.
A statement's going viral?
Oh, yeah.
You said, let's close it with this.
What do you say?
Fuck everybody.
You're all a bunch of bitches.
Almost the moon.
Get that moon pussy, dude.
I'm glad you brought that up, though.
I think these observances are important.
And as we are so far from Earth and looking at, you know, the beauty of creation, I think that, for me, one of the really important personal perspective that I have up here is I can really see Earth as one thing.
And, you know, when I read the Bible and I look at all of the amazing things that were done for us who were created, it's, you know, you can really.
you have this amazing place, this spaceship.
You guys are talking to us because we're in a spaceship really far from Earth,
but you're on a spaceship called Earth that was created to give us a place to live in the universe and the cosmos.
Maybe the distance we are from you makes you think what we're doing is special,
but we're the same distance from you.
And I'm trying to tell you, just trust me, you are special.
In all of this emptiness, this is a whole bunch of nothing, this thing we call the universe.
you have this oasis, this beautiful place that we get to exist together.
I think as we go into Easter Sunday thinking about, you know, all the cultures all around the world, whether you celebrate it or not, whether you believe in God or not, this is an opportunity for us to remember where we are, who we are, and that we are the same thing and that we got to get through this together.
Oh, wow.
That's beautiful, man.
It is, I mean, his perspective is this, I mean,
It's, it's unmatched.
He fucking saw the planet for, for what it is.
It's one thing, dude.
We're all just fighting on, on TikTok.
I wonder if he's, uh, I wonder what his relationship is with, with his phone.
It's like, when you go, when you go, man, you see that?
She's like, what, where do you go?
I mean, do you, I mean, do you even stop fucking?
I mean, what do you do?
Again, shout out, shout out to Victor, man.
Just fucking doing a damn thing.
What's up with this riff, dude?
This fucking stolen a riff.
Oh, yeah.
Kiko Lodero.
Okay, so this is something with Arch Enemy and Kiko.
So Kiko posted this.
He said, just helping to promote Arch Enemy official's new song.
You're welcome.
Okay.
Kiko.
Okay.
We're jamming this prior.
Cool song.
Okay.
Oh.
Okay.
So it might...
Am I about to open myself up to a lot of hate?
Should we do it, Jay?
I'm down.
Okay.
Do we need to hear it again?
No.
I think what got me was,
what the tone is similar,
which is a little bit of a mind fuck.
The tuning.
Sounds like it's the same key and everything.
Um.
But it sounds like a metal thing.
I don't know.
When did the Kiko song come out?
I wonder when that.
One year ago.
Okay.
So this helps me.
So maybe people won't hate me too much.
Okay.
I believe that ideas sometimes, dude, they're just out there.
And people just take them.
That's my personal belief.
Straight up, it's very similar.
But, man, it just happens sometimes.
Especially now, I mean, we're in 2026.
Damn, there, everything's been done.
Every key, every solo, like, combination.
And, like, it's, it's just going to happen more.
Maybe, uh, we had a record called,
remember, you must die.
And Polyphea literally has the same name at the same time.
It was like, it's just in like the air.
Like, they did not rip us off.
We didn't rip them off.
It's just, it's just an idea.
I guess like, like, what are the odds that the same, both of our same new records have this, so close to the same name.
So close.
Okay.
So, so, so their record is, remember that you will die.
And ours is.
remember you must die.
I mean,
is this out there,
man,
like ideas are out there.
Rifts are just,
riffs are just borrowed anyways.
Um,
I mean,
it happens all the time where I write something.
I'm like,
oh shit,
that's fucking corn.
Oh,
that's a little bit too similar to this.
What helps me is,
I just rip off myself.
I rip off pseudos.
Like,
okay,
well,
what are people,
what are people going to say?
Well, it sounds like Sousa songs.
Oh, yeah, it's me, you fucking idiot.
But it's...
Or a common one is Fear Factory.
Like, everything has been done before.
Like, oh, that's a...
I'll do a pattern.
Oh, that sounds too much like Dino.
It's too much like Fear Factory.
Maybe they just...
Arch Enemy just didn't know.
I mean, it is a great song.
I'm reading right now.
But, oh, no, man.
It is very similar.
And also, uh,
Michael
Amat
I mean talking about a ripper
a ripper
and also Kiko
they're kind of like
both rippers
and sometimes
I don't know you might do
a similar lead
and there's so much music out there
that it's impossible
to keep up
but again
isn't that kind of weird
that it's in a similar time
you know
I think the thing that
gets everyone
is like
kind of a similar tone
might even sound
like the same key
as Jay said
but it's gonna happen
I mean
I think riffs are borrowed
in general
um
it's really hard
to be
original
with the
how many years
metal guitar has been around
and certain kind of leads
and
um
and I'm gonna go
I think Gico is
Classically trained
And it's probably doing a very similar scale
I'm gonna assume that Michael Amont also knows the scales
I don't know scales
So I'm not in that realm
But
They're probably using like a same
Similar scale
Like a similar progression
That they're just jamming
That neither of them wrote
I mean who wrote
Who wrote scales right
Who wrote the fucking major scale
actually who did write that?
I think it just exists.
It just exists.
Who invented scales, right?
I mean, is that just...
So this is Adam of my wheelhouse.
I'm not a scale guy.
So when I do something,
no one can say,
that's that scale,
that's that theory.
Okay, musical scales,
according to AI overview,
musical scales were not written by one person,
but evolved over thousands of years,
rooted in physics and developed by
developed by ancient civilizations.
Civilizzias. I can't say that word.
Civilizations.
Key contributors include
what the fuck is that word.
Pythagoras?
Who
who defined mathematical ratios
for intervals
and ancient
Babylonian, Egyptian
and Greek musicians
who established early
Dytonic systems
Oh
So it's a lot
This is a lot of shit
Wow
Okay so it's not one person
It's developed over thousands of years
I don't know that
I didn't even know how
How long scales have even existed
Holy crap
But straight up dude
It's too similar
It's very similar
but again
it's just a coincidence
it's just a weird coincidence
and this is a good time
for Arch Enemy and Kiko
did kind of which Kiko did it right
it's kind of promote both ways
and get that nice cross
get that cross promo going
I'm all about you know
crossover this is
a happy accident
you know and plus they both like
it's helpful when it's an established
artist they already prove themselves
everyone knows that they're both sick
so it's like you know
you can't really say much you know
but uh wait
isn't wait who plays guitar in
Architeemy
Michael and uh who else
so it's Jeff Loomis
but uh who
my
my memories
Joey Concepcion
probably feeling in
oh no he's in it
Joey okay
Well, it could have been Joey, could have been Kiko
But I couldn't do that gig, dude
I couldn't play an archer enemy, you fucking kidding me?
I barely play in Suisans
I tried to play in Slaughter. I fucked that one up
But man, it's so similar.
Fuck.
It happens, dude.
And also, I learned, people only
really don't care, dude.
I mean, how many
Death Corps bands sound the same?
Like, oh, this is so sick.
It's, you know, it's music.
Who cares?
As long as both sides promote each other, I think it's sick.
But man, it's similar.
But cool, I learned some.
Skills are thousands of years old.
And it's not made by one person.
It's kind of one of those like common sense questions
that you never really figure out until real time.
So I learned some.
Cool.
All right.
Unfortunately, I failed again.
I'm like, I'm going to do an hour.
And now we're at hour 30.
sorry jay
okay i will be uh
let's see

No, I'm cool, man.
I'm cool.
You want to get an non-alcoholic one.
I'll fucking, I'll rage.
I'll fucking rage that way.
To me, raging has been three beers.
I'm raging, dude.
Because that's all that could fit.
Like, I try to, like, down it.
