See you there. So when I saw a comment
saying, is three guitars
really necessary? And I
had to chime in. I had to time in.
I remember seeing this.
And like, it's super necessary.
oh yeah and i'm horned up that's the intention so correct me if i'm wrong so the three guitar player
thing was an accident right because morrow you broke your hand on your birthday yeah well right it was
on mother's day actually okay but it was like right before my birthday and then uh we had a tour
that we had to go on and i remember i texted on the mother's day and i was like yo i
I just sent a picture of my hand all like blown up and like bloody and whatnot.
What you do?
So stupid.
I was on, it's not a quad.
It's like a razor.
I was doing donuts and a razor.
Of course you were.
Yeah.
And I flipped a few times.
Oh no.
Well, I rolled actually.
Not flipped.
I remember you sent the video of it and I thought it was like a meme,
brer.
Yeah, but it was like one of those like fucked up meme videos.
But I was like, oh, that's Mario.
My uncle was watching.
he had gone on a video of me doing the donuts and he he literally got when i like fucking rolled
and you know i'll be above that sucks man as a as a guitar player you don't want to
yeah i learned your hand or like or spraying like a finger or something man dude it was terrible
because i i remember like i went home that day with with the cast and everything and like
i just had to stare at my guitars on the wall no it just sucked you still played shows though but um yeah
And then that's, they got Austin because, I mean, do you want to tell the story?
Yeah, sure.
Are you originally from Missouri?
No, I, I'm from California when I was 17.
We moved out there.
Oh, okay.
So I lived there for like six months and I was just practicing.
And I happened to post the cover of irreverent when they first ever dropped their song,
me and my first ever band dropped to.
So I'd seen them and I was like, this band's sick.
And I just by ear learned a song and posted something on my story and they'd seen that.
And so, like, a few months later, they hit me up, and I just moved back to California to fill.
And, yeah, I played, like, the first show and had to go on that tour and filled in for Mario.
And we just became good friends and decided to do three guitars.
Nice.
Because they were, like, Austin Scroo.
Mario even played the first show with his broken band.
It was so funny.
With the cast on.
We were so hype.
There's literally seven people there.
We're like, bro, the song is just one zero, bro.
You just got to put one finger on it.
There's no excuses.
No.
No.
You got a rock, man.
Absolutely.
If you really want to do it, you'll fucking do it.
So at 17, you moved out, and then you came straight back.
So I was 17, almost 18, and so in that six months, like, right at the 18, I turned 18 mark.
Like a week later, I flew back to California, and I moved in with my friend and started trying to local band.
And I was in Rev at the same time.
and trying to bounce them both
and yeah, but
ultimately Reverend became my main band
and love these guys
and yeah, we're happy to be where we are, totally.
I wasn't even in the band yet.
Yeah, that was pre-Josh.
Oh, wow, that's when we had Gabe.
And you, Josh, so you
knew Mario first, correct?
Yes, I knew Mario first,
and me and him would play in, like,
screamo bands and, like,
yeah, like mathcore bands,
and I played drums in a band with Mario actually
and he like joined Reverend
and I remember I was like fuck this band is sick
and like I wanted to make deathcore
because obviously like I knew about suicide silence
when I was like in seventh grade and I was like this is like so cool
I want to make some heavy shit like this
but I never got around to like meeting people
who ever even fucking knew about like it really
so I pulled up one time to like just like
because he had practice and he was like
you should come over and then we'll jam after
I'll make some math core
And I was like I was like all right
I'm down I met them and they're all super chill
And they're all like treated me super good
They were very welcoming
And then I don't know what happened after that Noah
We did some gang vox
That day Josh came on like our biggest song
Currently and then
He's on If I Die here first too now
Yeah if I die
Yeah that's the one
If I die and then
Like after that
Like things kind of got stagnant with the band
and then like Josh was also doing a death court band too and you know we were in the place we wanted to be and like seeing Josh we was like you know we need each other and so like through Mario introducing us we just made it happen nice yeah because Josh you're you're you're coming to Noah's house before you're even in the band is hanging out with yeah just hanging out with Mario and then I guess they thought I went hard or something because I they're like first they consider it their first real show was a versus set versus my screamo band called September and
And like we were just going at it, going hard.
And then I guess that that probably is what triggered them to like probably want to get me.
Yes, welcome with us.
Yeah, I fucked with them.
And I never met so, like, a group of people so hyped to just like be around.
Like my band was like pouting when I told them we were going to do a versus set.
They were like so bummed out.
They're like, fuck we're in this.
Death court was still like fairly new to the scene at the time too.
So we were like the only death course like band.
So that's why when we saw Josh doing Death Corps box.
like no this dude goes crazy because it was just so like so new still to our scene of course
yeah to our scene like just like the kids were not really into that they were all into like screamo
bands at the time yeah so like seeing out like a real band that has like fucking breakdowns and blast
beats everybody was just like fucking their mind was fucking that show out of their skull that show was
that show was crazy we packed the fuck out of that back yeah the scene was all screamo like
literally right until that versus that show started like her new way that show started like a new
Yeah, and then he was in his band, victim blam.
I think they were, like, the first ones to really start, like, doing them.
Victin Blame's sick.
Yeah, they were doing, like, crabcore and shit.
I see a name.
Oh, really?
Yeah, it's cool.
I remember seeing Victim Blame, like, a long time ago on TikTok, just, like, blowing up.
They did the Asken Alexander cover.
Yeah.
No, they were the first, for sure.
They were, like, a lot of people say, like, tracheotomy and Girl of Glass, but they were before
Girl of Glass.
Like, they were in that scene, and they were already, like, doing crab core.
They really brought it to like.
Like, they did it the way I like to see it.
Like, they go fucking stupid.
Nice.
And would you, as putting a stamp on it, would you say the band started in November,
2003?
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah, it would.
Nice.
That was when we started talking about it, and that's when we started trying to write the first music.
It was just a three piece at first.
And we weren't even trying to make death score.
We were going to make slam.
And then, yeah, it just kind of started leaning more towards death court
just because you get more like,
We like to make tremoriffs and shit, you know?
Yeah.
You know what's funny?
He pulled up one of our older CDs.
That was at one of, it was your backyard show, I think.
The Black and War.
I had made all those by hand, I think, the night before.
Really?
There's only like 20 of those.
You saw that now.
It was like vinyl CD.
Yeah.
Oh, 30.
A three at 30.
Oh, dude.
I have a personal one.
Someone had to do is right?
That's crazy.
How much?
We sold them for like, what, 10, 15 bucks?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Or I sell them now.
Yeah, maybe.
There's like a, like a group of like death core is obsessive people that will buy anything.
Oh yeah.
It's like like 100%.
I should have kept like our couple, first couple of demos and EP's.
Could have this sold.
Billion dollars.
I could have fucking sold them.
So, so you're, so Reverend is from three places, right?
So I saw Victorville, Apple Valley and Redlands.
Yeah, I'm from Redlands.
Who is from Victorville?
Me.
I'm from Victorville.
Yeah.
Now we're kind of scattered.
Yeah.
We honestly started in the high desert.
And now with everybody in the band, he's from Texas.
He's from Temecula.
I'm from Alba Valley.
Them two from Victorville, Josh Redland.
I'm from Vegas.
Oh, yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
But I had moved here like the time Reverend had started.
It was just like perfect timing, I feel like.
Because when I first moved here, my first show I'd ever went to,
was seeing Noah play
in his older band
but she was also doing Deathcore at the time too
bro Noah was low-key on this shit
way before everybody
it was in like 2021
not to say
death core wasn't like
obviously a thing for a very long time
but a lot of kids were not like
really actively playing it
like young kids
though
yeah it was very good
it sounds simple but
you got to execute it
you know it takes someone
like loving it for years
and then oh you find
you find the same
sound.
Yeah.
Amarro, did you move from, so where did you move to from Vegas?
Like where I lived in Vegas?
Yeah, where, where did you move to?
Like what part of like the high desert did you move to?
Oh, I moved to, uh, Hesperia or no, Oak Hills actually.
Okay.
It was like in the way away in the outskirts of O'Kills.
So there's nothing but dirt roads and like houses.
Nice.
Horses.
Dude, sometimes.
Yeah, look at that.
Yeah, it's like fallout,
that's basically how it is everywhere.
Yep.
That's the high desert right there.
That fucking sucks.
Reverent, dude.
I'll be driving.
If I'm going to Vegas,
I'll be going up to 15th.
And whenever,
it's always a thought.
Whenever I'm passing Victorville,
I'm like, who the fuck lives here?
That's right.
That's reverent.
It's like,
it's miserable.
It's not going to lie.
It's like,
what do you do there?
Just make music.
Make music.
It's good.
Yeah, literally.
There's a scene out there, but it's not even worth playing.
It's probably dead now.
There's nowhere near as popping as it was before.
Yeah.
It was doing decent for a little bit there.
There's no scene.
But no one plays there anymore.
I think we played a show there like when Josh just joined and it was like 20 people at C-47.
No, no, no, no, no.
Okay, we played one where it was like 40 people and then the next show we played as C-47.
There was literally like fucking probably three people in that room.
It was awesome.
It was like five people on the wall.
Just like.
Just going like this.
And we were so fucking bummed out.
Every band left.
RIPC.
Yeah, we were like, fuck.
And then we played this one venue, Rockstar's with tomorrow.
There's probably like 100 kids in there.
That one was pretty sick.
Yeah.
I remember, like, we were so nervous for those shows, too.
Yeah, we'd be like hyped as fuck to play in front of five people.
We were so hyped.
Yeah.
So, Ethan, are you still there?
Oh, yeah, yeah.
I'm still in Victorville.
What do you do?
I'm just curious.
I don't my selfishness, I'm like, what do you do out there?
That's it.
Dude.
Death Corps?
Yeah.
Death Corps and Amazon.
It would work at Amazon, bro.
Play,
play Bringing the Horizon songs.
Yeah.
Yeah, it was just.
Amazon.
Just out there grinding.
In the desert?
Wow.
Grining Amazon.
You ever,
he ever couldn't move out or?
Yeah, well,
low-key, I do like the desert.
Because I was born there.
Like, my whole family, like,
was always from there, like, around the,
the IE area like San Bernardino like high desert area so yeah I don't know it's like home for me
you know never making it out the desert but we're gonna stay there forever if he oh my god that's the
show oh that is the show that's the same oh that's the same oh no nine oh nine that's when we had like
three people were the last man they were going hard yeah that show fucking sucked they put us at
they they're at the top of we did go hard though bad mouth now we went hard we we we went hard we
we we what did we forget that everybody was just like trying no samples that day
yeah we had no samples and we were so sad about it no there's no no
808s yeah no 808s in top of that no noise gate so everything was fucking squealing no
three in our in our logo there either that happens a lot reverent yeah yeah okay why why the three
why didn't it's true number three it just looks cool it was okay it was gonna be a dumb question i
apologize so we wanted to be different so yeah it reminds me of like those gamer tags you
put on xbox like you're just like you're just like killer with like a one like as i and
Yeah, yeah.
I feel like it's sick because, like, now we do use the three as, like, a statement piece, too.
It is, yeah.
There's like something to it.
Yeah.
We need to get that underscore.
And when you look it up on, on websites, like, Spotify, you know, YouTube.
It always pops up if you put the three.
The second you put RV three.
It comes up.
Boom.
So it's like you won't see anything else but that if you type that in.
Yeah.
Wow.
It's awesome.
It was like a happy.
I don't know if that was intentional, but.
Yeah.
It was like sometimes you get like happy accidents.
Yeah, we were, we were.
There we go.
I'm going on.
Why am I right there, though?
You look so long, bro.
Yeah, why do I look long?
You, because you're a big boy.
Bro, you fucking spider on something.
Bro, what are you doing there?
I don't even know.
It's the mega wide stance.
Dude, that's a fucking, that's a death core stand.
That's the revering stance right there.
Oh, God.
It is.
The two, hey, you got the two one cord.
That's just heavy right there.
Yeah, bro.
What was the, what was the, because I found you guys through that video.
What was the video I was looking at?
It was like, I think, like a gym.
Basketball court.
The basketball court.
Yeah.
That was the one that I just felt like, I didn't even know your ban you.
I just decided to comment on it.
Yeah, that one.
That video got us.
Yeah.
It was Phoenix, Arizona.
It was Phoenix at a random basketball court.
Yeah.
It was like school, right?
Yeah, it was just a random gym.
It was like a basketball court that people like practice at, like,
Yeah.
Yeah.
Who posted it?
Somewhere in a person.
Yeah.
And they TikTok blew up and...
Oh, it was in this show though.
Oh my gosh.
Is this it?
Yeah.
This is the show.
But this was in the video, but...
So, yeah, Austin was in the band when we started, but then he got busy.
I wasn't in the band at this point in time.
So this is a different guitar player right here.
Okay.
Austin came back shortly after.
Yeah.
This was like what?
I must be...
Maybe almost a year.
Little under.
Yeah, one of Josh's first shows with us.
Yeah, that was like my third show.
Oh, this was like, I was going to say.
It was like,
the third show with Josh.
Dude, that's packed.
That's a big show, man.
Yeah, it was pretty packed.
Basketball glory.
I think we were playing on these little podgos.
Yeah, for the noise gate, mostly.
Oh, that was back with Julian as well.
Shout out Julian.
Yeah, shout out Julian.
Yeah, shout out Julian.
R-O-G drummer.
He's awesome.
Who posted the video?
Random person.
Random.
Someone in the crowd.
Any one of those people were there.
Yeah.
Did you guys, like, reposted or what?
It just blew up.
Yeah.
I think, like, TikTok probably.
It got posted, and then, like, people
started making memes about it they're like I didn't know Justin Bieber was
firing a death corps band oh yeah yeah you know they're saying Fred yeah Fred
figglehorn this video red show is right when the hate got to like insane level yeah
and we started like you know getting attention from it too so yeah nah the haters
they look he blew us up okay they did they did shout out the haters y'all some bitches but
still I fuck with you I was like random labels and like just like
The most rant.
Was it,
um,
not T.
Grizzly.
Was it T-Pain that commented on it, too?
It was T-Pain.
What?
What?
I didn't even know about that.
T-Pain commented?
Yeah,
bro,
we had like,
like,
so many,
like,
it's ass.
Yeah,
I didn't even hear the,
I mean,
yeah,
I mean,
it got,
it drew me in.
Yeah.
It's crazy how,
you could just access people.
Right.
With the internet.
I was like,
oh,
that cool,
it's kind of,
it's kind of heavy.
Obviously,
I,
I love,
I love the sound.
It's probably doing a quick comment.
But yeah,
but you guys are getting like some.
I was telling,
I was telling you,
you know where like,
if I see a band that starts to,
like,
develop,
um,
some reactions and like,
more,
more so hate,
I actually get excited for them.
Yeah.
Because that's kind of like the next,
it's like the next step.
So I was like,
low-key is still.
Oh,
the people are talking shit on them.
Like they're probably guys,
people like the local scene that aren't stoked.
But that,
but,
but,
but,
but,
but,
but,
Yeah, I mean, I'd rather be hated by the scene than liked by them for the most part.
Like, I feel like it's more exciting and it builds more hype around it.
Weren't people drawing pictures of you?
Yeah.
Yeah, they're drawing really ugly photos of me.
Yeah.
Which I don't know why.
You should frame them.
People ask me to sign them sometimes.
They'll, like, print it out and they'll hand it to me.
Be like, please.
I'm like, it makes me so sad.
I'm just like, fuck.
Someone made Josh Peter Griffin one time.
Yeah.
Yeah.
No, they made me Stewie.
Yeah.
What?
Yeah, they made it.
No, someone made me Stewie with one gauge.
I didn't see that one.
That was crazy.
Bro.
I wonder if you'll be able to find.
There it is.
That's the one that was.
That one blew the fuck us.
We would play shows.
Yeah, someone drew that.
Whoever drew that.
That's sick.
We would play shows and people would hold that up on their phone.
Yeah, they'll hold it up in the crowd.
Dude, I'm.
Doesn't even look like it at all.
It doesn't, bro.
Wow.
It's like a goal.
Remember when they put
It's melting.
Breverins big time now.
The vein on his neck.
At least they recognize
the throw was strong though.
Yeah.
They gave me the vein.
Hey, Josh.
You know what?
I'm jealous of you because I wish
people would draw pictures of me.
No, I mean, it's not a bad thing.
People draw good photos too.
Like, I have photos
girl drew of me.
Like, from, like,
it was like a stage photo.
It was super cool.
I have it in my room.
Who drew that picture?
I don't know.
I, like, I really wonder who drew that.
Bram was just signed to.
Bro, we've seen pictures.
He's like...
Josh from Remedy's chopped.
They get so mad, bro, because their girlfriends love me.
Yeah.
Oh, God.
Oh, my God.
Dude, I am, I am jealous, dude.
What fuck is that?
I'm so excited for your band.
This is sick, dude.
This is cool.
Bro's raging.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure they drew a picture of Josh, like, on a wall.
at one time too somebody remade that picture on like a school wall yeah they
spray painted it didn't they like put curly hair on you or something I don't
fucking know what they did they just like AI Josh like insane like there's
hundreds of photos yeah no I don't know it was like on Instagram I don't know if it's
wow yeah yeah is there security yeah can we get him out of here
yeah awesome out of here
Fuck.
You're out, dude.
It's over.
It's fucking over, dude.
They once made us all Chinese, too.
Oh, yeah, they made us Chinese.
Oh, that was legendary.
They made us Chinese one time.
They even made like a, they did like a recreation of our song.
No, I guess they even a-odd the song to be in Chinese.
Yeah.
No.
I guess they don't post it.
The rep is big time.
I didn't know, man.
The Chinese fan art was hilarious.
Yeah, that one.
Wow.
They made a, if I die here first, our song, they made it like a Chinese version too.
It was kind of tough.
The lyrics were in Chinese.
Yeah.
Inspire.
But how is like the, what about like your local scene?
How has that been like receiving you guys?
I like that, like the inland empire.
They loved us at first.
I mean, they loved us at first until we started not playing locally.
Then they were like, this band's fucking dog shit.
So we started to do things like that bands do to get bigger.
It's like they were getting mad that we were not playing there.
And I don't know if they were.
it's everybody because like to be honest it's a small
demographic. I feel like majority
of IE's still like you know. Yeah.
Like I would just I'm, we haven't played there
in so long so I guess we'll see like
when we do play there coming up
soon. Yeah, we're going to play there.
Soon. If you're going to play like a
hometown show, where would you guys go?
Like somewhere somewhere
Pomona. Yeah. Yeah, probably Pomona.
Riverside. Fontana.
It was crazy too. San Bernardina.
Fontana's where everything blew up.
It is. Yeah. It's where it all started.
Yeah.
Montana so I would say a glass house yeah yeah yeah yeah that area or
Montana we're gonna when this is coming out otherwise I just say when the next time
we're playing Monday over we'll be good then this uh we're gonna play at the flyaway
theater for our CD release show October 30th so October 30th the IE better pop
out real a record I better see some stage dives and I better see some crowd killing
yeah yeah
tired of seeing push pits.
The last time we played there at the flyaway,
there was a couch
thrown into the pit.
It was such a crazy show.
I remember we were getting pushed.
I got cut off early.
Yeah, because it was just too insane.
I remember I was getting pushed into my cab.
Shit was falling.
One of the day one homies through the couch.
Yeah.
We ain't going to snout.
Yeah, we're not going to snitching.
Okay.
But it was fire.
It was fire, dude.
Okay.
It was definitely an experience.
Yeah.
He goes hard.
She let the world run rapid.
So new record.
yeah October 30th
excited I'm so excited
that's that's coming up
yeah it's very soon
it's like a five weeks
yeah yeah but
two songs out
title track and a last one here
yeah it's sick
yeah we're fucking hyped on it
we've been working on this for a minute now
like a year into some change
really yeah yeah yeah
wow hopefully people will like it
I mean seems to be like it
yeah that's all that we care about
we just like fucking making heavy music
it's been through like a lot of changes but I think it's just
perfect how it is now.
Yeah.
That music video is awesome.
Yeah.
Yeah, I liked how
I would look at the song credits
and I saw all your names.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Really, really, a lot of those link us
was just focusing on writing together
and, especially just listening
to the songs and like having the homies put their
input is so important.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That way it's not, like, this album I feel
is just like all of what we were thinking,
just like thrown out there.
Like, we just wanted to make fast as
And we got a lot of fast-ass shit and heavy ass breakdowns.
That was kind of the goal.
Yeah, you guys are known to like write a lot of songs and a scrap songs, right?
Yes.
So Reverend will buy you, Josh, a lift to go there for like a day, weeks, and just write.
Yeah, basically.
I mean, now we just like pull up for like two days a week.
But when I joined, I was probably at Noah's house for like five months, just like back and forth from my girlfriend's house.
my girlfriend's house because she lives up in the high desert so I just go to his house for two days
go back for a day to her house come back for like another two days basically living with him we were
really learning how to write at that time so I was learning to be a better vocalist as well yeah
even trying to learn what he likes you know yeah so then going into like the next album like we
we didn't want to scrap as much so we didn't need to scrap as much and we just picked up aiden so
yeah his mind is like insane you know how to write crazy yeah he is amazing at guitar yeah dude like a lot
A lot of the songs that are on the album are like completely rewritten.
Like the, the riffs are still the same when we first like wrote them, some of them.
But like they're completely changed because of like Aidan coming in.
Working with Drew Folk too.
Yeah, that's awesome.
Mr. Folk.
The Folk.
The Folk.
Especially Volkling with Drew.
Oh yeah.
That's how to make insane moments.
Yeah, he does.
Like these songs have been through through so much.
So much.
Yeah.
And we had to do those 13 songs.
Oh, that's the whole set was right there.
It's not very excited.
I feel like it's going to be awesome.
It's a set list fuck.
My favorite was the outro to the illusionist.
Oh.
Oh, you listen to that?
Oh, you listened to it?
Yeah, that was a sick.
Yeah, that one's sick.
Yeah, I heard it this morning.
It's cool.
This is good.
Nice.
It was dope.
You guys heard that when it comes out.
You got to check that one out.
I like a Bissell Phoenix.
Check out.
A Bissell Phoenix?
Yeah, that one's fucking insane.
I like the 97th floor to that one.
97 floor.
I think my favorite is probably Project Essential, though, actually.
No, Project Essentialsion goes crazy.
These songs were like.
These songs were like literally like an album like we dreamed of making for like
since we started.
Absolutely.
Just trying to find out how to do it.
Literally like what's the hardest death course?
Like to us.
If you had to ask me, I feel like, and I feel like you should feel like this if it's
your band as well.
Of course.
Your songs should be, you know, some of the coolest, hardest stuff you heard.
We still hate our own music though.
Like at the end of the day.
Like we're like always like like after we listen to it for a while we're just like fuck,
that could have went crazy.
Like, is this like, is this good?
Yeah, it's like, wait, it just suck at.
It's just always like that.
I'm not going to sit here and be like, oh, we think, it's tough.
We love our music and we think they're the hardest man.
Like, it's everything we wanted to write.
But I'm sure, like, after like two months of this being out, we're going to be like,
fuck now we want to do it even a little better than we did it.
We've also been listening to them so long.
Yeah.
We listen to them like.
To the, every other day.
During that whole writing, that whole writing process, like, we've seen like you and Mitch in
interviews being like, yeah, we don't really like to listen to other death.
core especially while you're writing like we really had we really try to not listen to a lot of bands
coming up or just like a lot of our favorite deathcore songs like yeah just trying to really do it
in our own way it just subconsciously does happen yeah like when you do listen it's tough the studio
sessions yes I'm just like dying right there like fuck yeah all right like fucking eight hours
we don't even know what we're talking about but we're like days like that would be so long
you would just be there fucking morning that set up right there is where
all of reverend's where the magic happens
and we like to converse like really think about
what are we even trying to like make you feel
yeah so was so was tormented fate
was that the first one that that clicked
or was it that was just like a drop
so we just started the band and then we were jamming
with our drummer and then we just played that
song and then like
we just one took it and then we just put it on to the PC
and just dropped it because we wanted something out that's why that song's more
slamy because reverend really we were going to be a slam band
and then uh our
our original vocalist too he was like let's make that car because nice yeah we were like
making little deathcore side project tracks and he was like why don't we do that pa i'm like
i'm like i gave no shout out a game though yeah yeah yeah yeah cool yeah well i'm glad he did
yeah it's a simple as a simple switch dude yeah i was curious like it's it's a big uh your
record's a big step from the uh from the blankets oh yeah no
Oh, yeah.
The blankets, putting me inside a couch recording vocals,
just setting up the couch sideways and throwing a blanket over the top.
In the summertime.
It's like pitch black in there, and I'm like...
Hey, Noah.
Can you ask Josh a question for me?
Yeah.
Josh, a very important question.
Would you rather have three fingers up your booty hole
or three fingers up your pee hole?
Bro.
All right, hold up.
This is some inside joke stuff, right?
Oh, yeah.
I'm surprised.
You know, that's crazy.
I don't even know what the fuck he was talking about when he asked me that.
I'm like, what the fuck are you asking me right now?
I lookie at three fingers up the peehole, Loki.
Why would you keep asking?
I forgot.
I don't know.
I was just on one that day.
You probably saw that shit on TikTok and just kept saying it.
I genuinely, I remember.
I was like, I'm going to just fuck with this dude on camera.
And I just came up with that.
He's like screaming like randomly.
I forgot.
He was trying to scare me while I was inside the, the couch.
He would like run up with the camera while.
I was recording vocals.
Dude, there's so much shit.
There's so much shit that, like, hasn't made it to the camera that I wish would have made it, like, during the earlier days, too.
We used to always just fuck around while our recording.
Yeah.
I love the, uh, I love the vlogs.
It kind of took me back.
It was really cool.
Why didn't sue we do vlogs like that?
Because we were fucking lazy, and no one, and what you have, Mario, is cool because you, because you're into taking photos and video.
Right?
And you got that from you and Josh are watching a bloodbath in Boston.
Yeah, in Boston.
Yeah.
How do you know that?
What the fuck?
It's like Nard War.
It's like Nard War.
I fucking love you guys, man.
That's awesome.
Yeah, those right there.
Those were fucking.
Dude, I feel like I've never seen these.
Bro, me and Josh would stay up until like fucking.
I'd watch that video like every day because I was like, this is so fucking look so fun to do.
If you'd never watch these, by the way, you have to go watch.
Like, it'll make you have more fun making death go.
These dudes were out of their time.
This one guy was like everything.
I never even heard the band.
They're fucking awesome.
They're fucking bad.
They only have two releases.
Both albums are amazing.
And they're making a comeback right now, too.
Yeah, they're making a comeback.
Probably going to play with them someday.
This guy right here, he's like a one man does it all.
He's like an Aiden.
He plays the drums, does guitars.
Yeah, and he's fucking crazy at guitar, too.
There's a funny clip of him recording the guitar part.
It's like a sweep and he throws it behind his head and he starts doing the sweep.
That shit's funny.
He does it perfectly.
Or they act like they're going to record the drums, but it's actually MIDI.
Yeah.
Yeah, that.
Yeah, like right here.
Yeah.
Yeah, he's just insane.
He just recorded all that.
But he's going hard.
Yeah.
What year was this?
Some people are freaks.
Like 2,000.
Nine, ten.
The Calville.
2010.
2010, that's crazy.
Our fantasy commission says for him it's all about the friendships.
Cute, Kevin.
But I disagree.
Like with Bat 365.
I get paid the second my team goes up big with early payout
and can cash out at any time before the game ends.
No hard feelings, Kevin.
Just faster payouts from Bet365.

What does a sunny getaway with Air Canada sound like?
Sunny Jamaica moves to its own rhythm.
Rio comes alive, long after the sun goes down.
Philippines slows everything down.
And just when you think you've heard it all, there's Sunny Lima.
However you imagine your sunny escape, Air Canada can take you there.
hot fairs and vacation packages today nice travels so he's going
he's goaded though what's their song like the song that people should
should jam out um true everything i like uh we we flesh art yeah flesh art yeah second
hand plague hold on there's one but their second album is no their second album's the best what's the
one song was better you'd have to go to the second album i don't remember what's more death core it's
more OG the second one is more like gentie and like prog yeah just fucking like
really well thought out both both equal in my opinion we're gonna try to find a slam
it's that idiom yeah odium oh and narcissist is too signed by them oh
narcissist is fucking okay which song which of this record which song should we
try to find ignoble ignoble okay let's pull up ignoble and we're gonna get horned up real
quick like go I think it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like it's a
I think it's vape time.
Yeah.
Oh my god.
You guys got me on the fucking vape, you piece of shit.
Dude, we got my dad on the vape going on one tour with them.
That's so true.
Okay.
Just makes you want to punch someone.
Okay.
We'll be vaping.
They definitely improved on this.
Very 2010 like death court.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
That's sick.
Yeah.
Chris, what is your opinion on that 2010's era death court?
Yeah.
I feel like it was so.
different to be on it so different yeah 20 10 like what are the what are some bands like I'm
thinking like like like traders like like like like just like kind of like that down tempo kind of
that's where that started coming up is this a list here right here okay so uh wait
wait wait wait so silence the cleansing I feel like all these are wrong though yeah for
I mean this is X out did come out 2011 though we need we need like the real 2010
beat down death poor like the 2010's underground before he
hit like that 2012 type that demolisher do you know demolisher no really wow
school me dude exoplanet like go up go back up exoplanet exoplanet who's that
the catawattish oh oh oh oh catacian oh acacia strain one word was i was jamming that okay
that that record a lot yeah that was probably the part of the number one i was jamming and sadly
enough not until i was older was i was jamming uh white chapel that that record that came out and
2010. I don't listen to too much white chival actually. A bloodbath came out in
2010 like there was a lot of bands. I feel like it came out in 2010 right after that
hype that didn't get a lot of attention that were pretty fucking solid. So you guys
are talking about bands that aren't really like they kind of
yeah. Yeah, me and Josh like when we found a bloodbath that was like a time when
when we would just like look for old. Yeah. Unknown bands really.
Yeah, just trying to find any bangers. Yeah. We could find
fucking like a couple hundred or thousand like views or plays.
Dang, it's just, just looking.
Yeah, we, I'm telling you, we would spend, he would just come over and just, we would just spend days just watching YouTube.
Yeah, just watching YouTube.
Just old videos that are like 15 years old.
I think we were really into is like math grind.
Like, we're into like that.
This is one of my questions.
I've heard your band talk about math grind.
Yes.
I'm like, what is math grind?
Math grind, it's fucking peak.
It's like a, it's a philosophy.
It's peak.
It's literally the most obnoxious.
Oh, just.
music you could ever listen to.
It has some crazy breakdowns though.
You gotta find some.
They showed me this band called
to like See You Next Tuesday.
Mario and Josh showed me.
No, you should look up the Severnaya Complex.
Severnaya Complex.
That's fucking, that's peak math.
How do you spell that?
S-E-V-R.
We're gonna A-Y-A.
We're gonna school the world on
on.
A-D-N-A-Math corporate right now.
Leaking the sauce.
Put them on.
We're putting people on right now.
This, like, if you put on that song.
I remember you put it.
me on this, bro.
Yeah, it's insane.
It's just fucked.
But where's the,
what?
Anything.
Yeah, put that one.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
This was crazy.
Wait, does it have audio of this video, bro?
The hell's this?
It's just them jamming, but this, this video goes crazy.
We used to watch this all the time.
The high guitar strap.
Okay.
Oh, oh, fuck.
It's like the random breakdown.
Yeah.
You got to play like an actual track to fully appreciate it.
Like one of those See You Next Tuesday songs.
Yeah.
I know, I know that band.
Oh, you know what the guys is more math.
chord this is like you gotta put us like opus we need we need some math grind that's
man man man put on a fucking we should put them on kissy face fashion who the hell is that
kissy face fashion fault yeah see like ah kissy yeah that one yeah sorry go down that
you're working that fucking over time dude what though yeah this was Mario and Josh
pre-reverage is the shit we wanted to make Josh was playing drums in Mario's band
yeah I was trying to write shit like this like this like
24-7.
I saw a video of Josh, like six months before I met him.
He was playing drums with Mario.
Yeah.
I see you guys jamming drums and Aiden playing like an ax.
You guys are all multi-
Yeah, we all.
Low-key all.
It's cool.
Some of us suck at drums more, but.
Yeah, I definitely, I'm not the best at drums, but I've tried.
But we go crazy on the MIDI, though.
We go crazy on the MIDI, though.
And we even could do a little of screams here and there, but it's not the best.
You guys have for a band called I and Discipline.
incidents yeah yes yes yeah okay that kind of like tape takes me back I guess you would
call them they're I think they're considered math core math grand is more just like
it's more fucked it's like it's like grand core can like it's like it's like Montreal
what about uh what what about a circle of dead children what circle of dead children
I've never heard I've only heard that's a fucking insane name that is yeah really okay I mean I mean
It's a fucking song, dude.
Or like Dillinger escape plan.
Dillinger, that's a good example.
That's a good example of like, we really like that.
But the genocide machines.
Oh, these are actually like the goats of said genre.
I don't even know.
Oh, yeah, this is it, dude.
This shit's hard.
You know what?
Garzan has balls.
Dude, suicide sounds like jamming this shit a lot.
That's crazy.
Circle Dead Children.
So I guess they're called Math Grind.
Yeah, no, they are.
I remember seeing them on a lot of lineups with like,
I think they played a show with Kissy Face too.
Dang.
So they're known as like the underground goats.
Yeah.
No, definitely.
That's crazy you guys know.
That's fucking.
It's insane.
So you guys taught me math grind and I didn't know that's what they actually were.
Yeah.
According to AI, it's called math grind is extreme.
Okay.
But did it say something about circle of dead children?
Did I misread it?
Sawtooth grin.
Oh, there we go.
You got to put on like a winter burns white.
Death grind grind, grind core.
Sawtooth grin is peak.
I think we should put on sawtooth grin.
Yeah, you should put on sawtooth grin.
Give us, give me one more.
Chris, you've never heard the sawdust.
No.
This is crazy.
You got to put, what's that album?
Hardcore band that was inspired.
No, I put on on.
The job, Jabbawaffe.
The original sleep token.
The Sawtooth grin?
Yeah, the Sawtooth grin.
Yeah, the softooth grin, Jabawabawki.
Okay, well, the best part about this podcast and these bands is we won't get
flag so that's why we keep playing music
yeah because no one we're not going to get flag
for it's cool oh no not this one sorry I'm so sorry I'm so sorry
give it to me mom this is kind of end you piece
that shit still gig keeping girl
no not Jared Rocky
I'm trying to think what's what's the name of the album
it's their first album that they put out
yeah it's probably
a good touch bad time wait now that's the last song
yeah that's last one of that album
that one that's up one yeah
cuddle box
Monster. What the fuck is that?
Dude.
Give me the amulet, you bitch.
So they played this album.
I think that's where that band got their name.
Probably.
Yeah.
I'm learning a lot about the fucking modern
deathcore sounds.
The tuning of this whole
album, they recorded it with a
telecaster that was tuned standard
like a step up from standard.
Just with clean tone. And they fucking
you'll hear you. You'll hear right now.
I think so. Yeah. Up. Up.
Yeah.
I gotta hear this.
It's all it.
It makes everything.
Okay.
It's a straight psycho shit.
It's all making sense.
Yeah.
It's all, all right.
Desert,
Death Corps,
math grind.
Math grind.
It's all clicking.
I'm just an uncle here,
just taking it in.
Yeah, this is your time, though.
This came out then.
Wow.
You're not, you're not on Chris.
Yeah, we don't say that.
What was the ear?
What was it?
It didn't come out in 2016
It was like 2009
2001
That was when I was born, Kurt
Yeah
Okay, so would I
Would I be considered unc or no?
No, not yet
I would consider you unk
What would it?
So what
What does it take for someone to go
And have kids?
Have kids
I would say, yeah
I would say their demeanor
I feel like demeanor
Definitely their demeanor
You can just tell like
Like Chris, Chris
Chris passed for like big cussos of
I can't lie to Chris
You guys know he's unk
And that's okay
Chris big cussos
I can't lie
No, you're facts, though.
Chris is technically classifies his big cuss.
He's big, bro.
Okay, so maybe I'm big cuss.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, big cuss.
I like that a lot better because I got hit with reality.
There's no official age for answers.
And your guys show, because, uh, oh, wow, dropping shit already.
Security, get them out of here?
Drummers.
Because I went to, uh, yeah, I was hanging out with, uh, Miss Slaughter.
And I, I said hi to Alex.
He's like, how old are you?
I'm like, I'm 40, I'm gonna be 41 on three months.
She's like, that's old, man.
And he was like, it's over for you, man.
What?
I was like, I was like, I know.
It's okay.
Wait, it's over for me, right guys?
It's over for me?
No, no.
No.
I looked at the room, I was just like.
That's mean of Alex.
I think he's just busting your balls.
It's all a big joke.
Yeah.
But I was like, man, I keep forgetting.
I'm fucking, 41 years old.
You still go hard though.
That's not that old though.
Dude, they're making me.
me and Ethan feel like unk as fuck.
Bro, I'm the oldest member in the band.
They'd be making me feel like I'm like 30 or some shit.
Yeah, it's probably.
You're looking me in the eyes like I said something.
Because he did.
I'm the one who calls them old.
He just looks at you with those eyes.
Yeah.
Unk eyes.
Yeah, I'm just like, you're old as fuck.
You know, I turn 18 tomorrow.
I know.
I'm not going to be...
Happy birthday, man.
Thank you.
I appreciate that.
Happy birthday, yeah.
You better put a happy birthday in the comments.
Yeah, it's not going to be popular anymore.
I'm going to be 18.
I'm going to be washed.
They're not gonna be putting the YouTube videos like he's only 17 he's only 17
dude when you 18 now we into 21 Josh is over yeah I know I'm not gonna be cool
watch up dude yeah I watched up he's gonna be like this vocalist of this band is
fucking old that old is he 21 washed up
that's it dude yeah it's true hey Josh I got a for me being a outsider you've
handled everything very well I I try my best I
Yeah, thank you. I appreciate that. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know.
You guys are way more mature than I was at like 18 to 21.
Yeah, how did you guys handle it?
I ignored it.
Yeah.
I was a little bitch, dude.
No.
I don't know. Like, you guys, it's cool because you guys, all the bands are talking to each other and playing together.
And you guys are still going for it. When I looked back, I was like, we didn't play together.
there's like an unhealthy competition.
I'm very competitive, but back then it was unhealthy,
and I was very, like, insecure.
And looking back, I wish I had that confidence that that you guys have.
Thank you.
We've seen interviews of you guys talking about, like,
how you guys wish you guys did more tours
and, like, us being, like, seeing those too.
Like, we take that in, too, like, that's cool.
You know?
Like, the things you guys say, like, even back then,
like, they still come around to us.
Yeah, definitely.
We take inspiration from what you guys.
guys would say in interviews.
You guys are still spinning ball.
Like, yeah.
I don't know.
You guys just had it.
It's just how it is.
Spitting.
Yeah, we like that you guys would headline a lot.
We want to do that.
Want to do that too?
Yeah.
Don't like opening.
That shit sucks.
It's fun.
It's fun.
It's fun.
It's fun.
It's set up and you know you're good.
That's like the funest part of it.
But I feel bad.
But the headliner stuff set up too.
It is.
You're right.
That's set up the whole time too.
Headlining would be fun.
Would.
Now that's the next goal is that we have.
Like a shot.
Yeah.
He's like,
but I think we're just very lucky.
We have a lot of awesome fans.
Yeah,
really support everything we do and fucking,
they don't give a shit what people saying.
They still listen.
And I think,
like,
we got to just be grateful for the people
who support us at that end of the day.
We're not shit without him.
You guys obviously have a lot of support.
Oh, yeah.
No, 100%.
We're grateful.
That's what it keeps us going.
Like, fuck the hate.
like nothing could over combat the love that we get
and we just got to focus on that at the end of the day
dude we feel like we got a purpose now we got a purpose too
like there's a lot of people who hit you up just to like say how you change their life
or motivate them like yeah like other young kids like me who are like
I started doing death core vocals because I saw you doing it and saw how young you were
or even adults hit me up and like telling me those things and that's just like
fuck yeah I'm gonna keep going and makes us stay focused and out of bed
and anybody can do it too they don't realize I want more kids to start death
core bands. I don't want people to be shutting them down
and being like, oh, this shit's lame
now, because everybody likes it.
Exactly. Fuck what all these other bands are saying
and saying it's lame now. Keep fucking doing it.
Fuck them, they're old.
Everybody's washed, bro.
I hate when other bands
hate it. Yeah, try to shit on their own genre.
Don't fucking do that. Or like, those schools are washed.
When scenes just kill themselves,
literally no reason. Literally for no reason, because
you want to be niche so bad
and it's fucking sad and pathetic.
Shit's stupid. Yeah.
fucking let the kids start deathcore bands and make breakdowns and have emo hair and love doing it.
Like, who cares who makes it in my opinion?
Exactly.
Who gives a fuck, bro?
Like, at the end of the day, just do what you want to do.
Because that's how we were, I mean, we didn't really have, like, what's the word?
I mean.
Nobody here's copying nobody.
Yeah.
Like, Noah was just doing Death Corps just because he fucked with this so much.
And then, like, that kind of, like, realed all of us in, too, because we're just like, bro, this shit stuff.
Or like even me and Mario very, like, we have more heavy influence from, like, something that's not death core.
We have influence from something that's completely different.
We're just making it because that shit's heavy and we enjoy making heavy music.
Yeah, like, I was always, I was always into hardcore more.
And then, like, you know, Death Corps, like, they just have, like, it's just such a different, like, feeling, you know?
It's so real, so raw.
I like the nerdy element of Death Corps, too, like, trying to show your homies, like, yo, I got this riff, check this out.
Like, that shit tough.
I feel like you don't really find.
that in a lot of other genres trying to like oh we show your bros that you like got some new
rips and stuff yeah so i like that's core or when you just write like a tough-ass breakdown you're
like bros check this out yeah i don't even like i like the fact that you don't have to make the
shit too technical you could just like just do just cave man it's just feel fucking blast beats
and break downs that shit's hard yeah no people keep talking about you like you you've been
fucking around with death core for a while you know how did you get into the genre uh my friend julian
Our original drummer.
I met him when I was like 18, like six years ago.
And I was just getting into guitar and I was playing indie music.
And then he just, we had a playlist together and he had added like Slipknot,
suicide season.
And then like the first song he had in by suicide silence disengaged.
And I was like, these noises are so weird.
Like this is like weird.
This is music.
And then like I just like wanted to like show Julian that I could like learn.
And I just like learn those songs and just found love with death.
Julian just knows every band
He's kind of crazy
He's a lot older than us
Shout out
Shout out Julian number two
Yeah
He had to dip
Because he had to do nursing
But he definitely left the impact on us
Like oh yeah
He's a lot older
Like just being wise with us
And like you know
Telling us stay out of trouble and shit
So he's fucking awesome
Now he's saving lives
In the ER
Yeah
We love Julian
Love you Julian
So he works
At a hospital now
Yes
So hang out with them.
Aidan, aren't you a nurse?
No?
Julian was.
Oh, Julian was.
Oh, Julian's a nurse.
Yeah.
Julian's a nurse now.
He was in nursing school while we were playing all those shows.
That's what it was.
Okay.
Yeah.
And Julian was, uh, June, we're all friends with Aiden.
Like, our first tours we did with Rev was with Aiden's band.
And so Julian, like, when he couldn't do the tour, he was like, oh, thank God you guys got Aiden.
Like, that's the one guy I'd want to do it.
You know?
So we're all homies.
And Aiden's fucking cracked.
Aiden's crazy.
Yeah.
He broke a computer.
Yeah, he's like, we should have a part that goes like,
and damn, damn, man.
He was like, da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-dha.
I remember when I met Aiden, he was obviously,
he was just doing guitar and victim blame.
That's all I knew of him.
And then I'd start to see his vocal covers on his Instagram,
and he did vocals and play guitar at the same time in victim blame.
And I was just like, whoa, like, this dude goes hard.
And then I would see his vocal covers.
And then he used to tell me, like, oh, I'd play drums too and stuff.
Like, and he'd downplay it.
Like, I'd warm up to, like,
in a night later.
And I'm like, no way.
He sent me videos and he's just going crazy.
No, I thought Aiden was fucking with me
when he said he played drums. I didn't even know.
Like, I was like, no offense to him.
I didn't think he was going to be as good as he is.
And he, like, he comes up
and he's, like, doing fucking gravity blast.
So I'm like, when the fuck did you have time to be good at guitar
and do this?
He's like a better drummer than all of it.
Yeah.
Like, Aiden, did you do drums before guitar?
How did that go?
He was in drum line, right?
It was both.
didn't you do drumline
it was just both
but like in high school
I did drumline
and middle school I did band
all of middle school
and then high school
did drumline
he's a human metric
you know he's been really quiet
this whole time
but he's actually the loudest person
in this band
yes he is
he's holding himself back
he's holding himself back
he really is doing it
we'll be driving this foot
just be like
oh
he'll be screaming out
random people
diabolical
diabolical
that's been Mario
and Aiden
this whole
fucking tour
that was Mario
I don't know where
Hayden, did you
What have you taken from drumline to
to this?
I don't even know.
I feel like a big part of it.
I don't even know.
I can't even tell you.
It just happened.
Something I've noticed is he's
He's very good at metronome thing.
He's very good at...
He's very on time.
Oh, yeah, timing and...
Just knowing what...
Just the key thing to being a drummer.
Yeah, yeah, right.
Just knowing what, like...
like what music is how to make music.
Actual music theory.
And like, how to like actually make keys, go into different keys and like make, just everything that I guess like a normal person would have know about music, like doing like key signatures or like tempo changes and like stuff like that.
Like it's like a lot of things that I took with me from Jumline.
And like being on time, being very like in time all the time.
Like I don't even need a, I don't even really need a metronome.
I just can listen to the songs and just feel the metronome.
You know?
Pre-trigger Aiden?
Pre-trigger Aiden.
Oh, yeah, there's no triggers here.
Should you tell him about the time you threw the stick?
Oh, yeah, I threw it.
Oh, my God.
Who has a video?
It's on TikTok somewhere.
But there's a video.
I don't remember what we were doing.
But we were in Florida.
I think it was like one of the last shows, and I was like, I'm just going
fucking crazy.
He was just like.
So like, I just, right of me.
between one of the breakdowns like with the bass drops I think it was a blood I just got up and threw the stick as hard as I could
Lookie snipe some chick and like she posted a picture she was he was hella hyped though
Just like yeah, that's so cool
Yeah, but her face was like bleeding and we had to apologize
Oh my, my, I think I think it was Dave from cycle frame yeah Dave's a psych frame he saw it for
He was like I saw that shit fucking fly by just that no there's I think it's in our highlights
No I don't think it's in our highlight I think we took it down but you see him get up and literally just fucking
to the point where the stick isn't even
like it's so fast it's a blur
it was like a javelin yeah
it wasn't even in frame anymore
damn
well shout to TikTok
yeah I don't think it's in there
it's all new shows I think we took it down
oh yeah
oh yeah
taking me back
he's just going crazy
Mario's windmills
hey taking me back dude
sick
someone called Mario
The mop.
The mop is on this
Yeah, he was like, who's that person
that gets low and it's just like,
he's like the mom,
he looks like he's mopping the floor.
Oh my God,
you're just fucking mopping, dude.
Yeah, mopping around.
People have called me a mop too.
Yeah?
What?
So it looks like a mop.
Yeah.
You have a guy's hair style.
It kind of looks like a mop.
It's head in the floor and everything.
I know.
I think you're fucking mopping the floor, dude.
Oh, yeah.
Hey, no, why did you start recording?
Why?
Just to get it done ourselves, I feel like.
Really?
Yeah.
So was it, like, necessity?
Yeah, well, I started learning how to record it in that first band that I was in.
Where's that beat?
Right here.
I started recording in that band, and then, like, when Reverend came out, like,
how did you finish it on?
Oh, put it on Pulse mode.
Ethan, what was that?
Wow, how to fucking eat
It was me
I'm right there
Oh, fuck
Yeah, are you okay
And then
When Reverend came around
Get all pressed
It was just working
So we just stuck with it
Oh, you were so blonde
It's the home stew
He looks so pretty right
Oh my short hair
When bro was all blonde
Plus I feel like when we like
Like as I was learning to producing
We're all kind of learning producing
And we kind of all learn like
How to write songs better
Yeah, yeah
It's funny.
Recording's so fun, dude.
It's so fun.
Like, making the actual music itself,
that shit is so fucking fun.
Hey, he kind of nice on the drums, though.
Yeah.
He's kind of nice on the drums, though.
Wait, hold up.
This shit's Loki funny.
The stick throw at the end.
I have a question about two songs.
Yeah.
um as he splits to earth and a blood and brutality the outro for both of the songs tends to really like connect with people
yeah how do you guys come up with those those moments dude i'm gonna keep it a bug
just the slowest silent breakdowns just get fools the most i feel like it's just that like time
where people can hit the pooh and like you could hear like the people in the crowd they're just like
The keys jangling.
I love it.
I love it.
That was the point of that.
When we were writing a lot of those two, I remember, like, Noah would just be like,
bro, we got to, like, have a part that's just like, imagine the crowd like, ah, you know,
like, just right here.
The crowd would be so hype right here, right there.
Like, a lot of the time writing the songs, we were just thinking about, like, how would the crowd react?
Literally.
Making moments.
You know, yeah.
That's the most important thing I feel like is the emotion and the feel.
Like, you get out the most bullshit riff, but, like, if it still feels heavy and brutal,
though, you're doing the right thing.
that's great
but i don't know
so ignorant yes we write our parts low-key like as corny's it sounds like we're like we're
going to hit these moves right here you know yeah because it's the part of it low-key
part of it yeah i know i know it sounds wrong but i was like man i was just
just letting music hit me on like this sounds so deadcore it's hard to hit dude
yeah that tone is it's impossible to hit but you got you guys have it
Thank you.
Thank you.
It means a lot, Chris.
Because you guys have that.
Yeah, it's like too much like distortion.
Yeah.
I don't think they were trying to be a death core band.
Y'all lo-key innovated this shit.
We try not to rip you guys off at all, but like the feeling that you guys encapsulate
and like tonsling, no time to bleed, just like the brutality.
We want to encapsulate that, though, you know what I'm saying?
Also, the way you guys like you and Mark create a tone with two tones, I always notice
not a lot of bands will do that.
They just have cool tones or they'll rock the same tone.
Yeah.
And, like, your guys' tone is made to blend.
Yeah.
I send you guys at, like, mayhem and stuff.
I've heard it from the crowd perspective and stuff.
Like, that's awesome.
And it wasn't, like, intentional, but, like, obviously we had three guitars and stuff.
So we're trying to blend the tone as well, make it sound like one instead of just three.
Oh, my tone's cool.
His tone's cool.
You know, like.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, effects.
I have that CD from, uh, it's like a Japan exclusive or something.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Straight from Japan.
The OB strip
Yeah with the OB strip on it
It's cool when there's like two
Two tones
It gives it like this
Dimension
It's like it's like it's like a living
It's like a beam
It makes those transitions sound crazier too
When you like hear the switch off
And you hear that tone is different
Yeah
It's like oh shit
Yeah
Yeah that's the one he has
Yep
I have that one
Oh me too I have that
I still you know
You know what's funny
We had gotten that at this
At this venue we played
It called Preserving Underground
Philadelphia right
Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh.
And I remember, because it's like a cathedral almost, and the second floor is just like this record store that has all this like old.
There's so much shit.
The coolest venue I've ever been to.
I remember we went in there and we're like, oh my God, and we just kept finding like the faceless fucking, the great commission.
They have a whole hardcore museum on the bottom floor of just like the history of hardcore and just like props from hardcore.
It's preserving underground in Pittsburgh.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
Cool.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
That's where I got that at.
Love it.
I wrestle the bear ones.
Aidan's coming out.
Aidan's coming out.
Eadens coming out.
You guys have, it's crazy.
You guys have your own sound.
Thank you.
I was jamming at the record.
Oh, there it is.
It's your sound.
Thank you.
That's the goal.
We're not trying to rip anybody.
They had crazy records.
Yeah.
Dude, I was in there the whole fucking day.
Oh, yeah.
I was just, I spent my last 30 bucks on an Amir shirt there.
How did we all scraped our pennies?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Church, right?
Yeah, I remember.
Remember across street, we went to some, like, coffee shop.
Remember that?
Yeah.
I've been there once.
Cool.
I bought a skinless shirt there.
That's fun.
Skinless, yeah.
You know when you're fucking bored, you're, like, just there all day.
Yeah.
I was just like.
Through each one.
I don't know.
You got to get that dope of mean restaurant tour.
You got to buy shit.
You got to get it.
Yeah.
Went through every fucking piece of cloth like I saw there.
Oh, yeah.
Us too.
I ran it through like three times.
I think they spent like four hours in there.
Yeah.
Throughout the whole show.
And God,
just fucking unveiled this skinless shirt.
I fucking had five.
It was like 40 bucks.
They had an infant aniler hat in there.
They did.
I thought it was crazy.
It was like what?
At a church.
It's like a purple bill.
Shit.
I think,
this place is sick.
I think,
are we planning there on a tour?
I don't know.
So many dates.
Maybe.
It all,
it all kind of blends in.
Yeah.
I've still never seen suicide silence life.
No,
still.
Yeah, never.
Me too.
The first concerts I've ever seen, like, of a real band was playing with August Burns Red.
Like, wow.
Yeah, that was the first time I've ever been to, like, a real show like that.
Yeah.
Suicide Science Slaps so hard live.
I know, you, like, almost everybody here.
At the end, bro, before, when I saw Suicide Science live, like, Mark, like, I remember, like, he was doing, like, the wasted solo.
And, like, I was, like, moving the whammy, like, right in the middle of the Mosh Pit.
And, like, he saw me.
And then, like, he did, he added a whammy.
into his solo.
And then at the end of the set,
like he came up to the whole crowd on our side
and he acted like he was about to throw his guitar in
to the crowd. He was like,
and took it back. It was so funny.
When was this?
I don't know. It was at House of Blues, I think,
Chaos and Carnage.
Oh, yeah. Yeah, I was there. It was fucking awesome.
You remember?
Our fantasy commission says for him it's all about the
friendships.
Cute, Kevin. But I
disagree. Like with about 365?
I get paid the second my team goes up big with early payout
and can cash out at any time before the game ends.
No hard feelings, Kevin.
Just faster payouts from Bet365.
The home of winning early.

2023 Mayhem Fest you guys played.
I think it was the one with Throwdown,
when they played, like right before you guys.
I was there.
uh that was this is
yeah i think this is like pre-reve
or beginning or like it's probably pre-reve
or right at the start of me getting in reverent
um that was like my first time seeing suicide silence it was sick
i remember you guys had like a
like an audio mishap or something or yeah yeah they
they turned off the pa yeah oh yeah they still kept playing though
it was so hard because you could just hear cabs that's why
that's why you need amps dude uh-huh
we had the quads but you have like the stage sound though
dude the cab were just it bro we just
We do D.I.
But I just love hearing my own cab.
Dude, you're going fucking crazy.
Oh my gosh.
That's the show.
See, you know what, dude?
I'm not an uncle.
I'm just a big cut.
John Douglas.
There you go.
No, uncle is doing that.
That's a big cut.
His name's JD, John Douglas, right?
Yeah.
He was, dude, I've seen him rushing across this.
Oh, he fucking saved that show.
Yeah.
It was a fucking.
That was years ago already.
Unks do not be moving like that.
I remember I met Mark.
Mark off to the side of the stage, you know, there was that fence.
I met Mark probably 10 minutes before you guys had said.
I was just chilling.
He was over there.
People were, like, asked him for a whole bunch of pictures.
And I remember I was just the last one.
I was going to wait and wait, not just be that guy.
But I walked up and I was like, I'm not going to ask for a picture, nothing.
I just want to say.
Yeah, I try to be nonchal on it.
I had to.
Yeah, just be like, yeah, you're Mark.
Yeah.
But now it was cool.
He was super awesome.
It's cool.
You know, I've had like, you know, bands,
bands like irreverent have kept giving me like a like a I don't I don't
I don't know how to explain it's like another life yeah yeah you guys like maybe like a
combination of like a fire underneath my ass you know people are fucking with the
genre again and you know I mean I always say this but yeah but bands like you know
so sounds will not be a probably where we're at without bands like you guys now oh
thank you I mean it's a lot I know it does we fucking love you guys guys
Yeah, we do.
It's cool, like, you know, watching and see it.
I'm like, damn, like, how far the genre has come.
And, yeah, it's just, it's like a second wind.
Yeah, cool.
It's great.
And you guys have your own sound, too, so.
Thank you.
And we try.
I was like, damn, dude, what the fuck, dude.
I love going to show.
He's just fucking watching.
Yeah, we notice that.
We always say that, too, like, Chris, you can tell he just loves this shit.
Yeah, you just love it.
You love the game.
A lot of our shows way before, and we even started.
I mentioned you at a tracheotomy show, a chain reaction for the first time, like three, four years ago.
Yeah, it was dope.
It's cool.
It's cool show.
Yeah, and then when I think when we first met on Maslow band was at the...
Oh, yeah.
Like Lake Elson.
Yeah, Lake Elson.
Yeah, that was awesome.
That was awesome.
That was awesome.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That show fucking sucked.
That show sucked.
That video...
That one had a video that was a video on that.
That blew us up, too.
I was like, what the?
You don't fucking know.
You never know.
Wow.
Dude, some of those videos have blown us up more than like some of the tours we've been on recently.
Yeah.
I think it's because the way that like the kids like recorded and they're like, I got to get this on TikTok.
No.
No.
This video.
Yeah, yeah.
How does it happen?
Like what?
A hundred kids.
People on TikTok just love to like record a cool clip and post it and see if their video blows up.
That's how a lot of bands be blown up.
Like I'm not even counting.
It's TikTok.
It's TikTok.
It's TikTok whether you hate it or what.
Yeah, that's where we met.
All the smiles.
Dude, we looked so like, I know we've only been playing for two years, but like this was so long ago, it's crazy.
It still happens to me.
Like a video from last year will pop up.
Look at dawn, bro.
Don was there.
Can't wait.
We looked like we were still figuring ourselves out for real.
Now we were.
Like kids.
Definitely were, bro.
Still are.
Still are.
Like, you can't plan it.
You can't.
Someone's just going to, like, film it and then boom, it's out.
Look at Mario.
That's so.
weird, dude. It's so weird.
Look at Mario.
Look at baby Josh, baby Mario.
Baby Josh.
Like Josh's gonna be 18 right now. I think you were at 16 right here.
Yeah, I was 16.
I met him when he was 15.
Wow.
It's weird to look back on.
And you met Mario when he was 14, right?
Yeah, he's a rich room.
Yeah, I did. I met him at 14.
He doesn't remember, but I remember that day so clearly.
I remember like, no, it was trying to act nonchalant.
I was like, yo, dude, that was great.
And he was like, yeah, I appreciate it.
Aden's out.
Yeah, I guess I'm just having a mental breakdown right now.
So just give him a moment.
It's probably going peepee.
I love that too many beers.
Gotta go check up on him.
He starts, he's like crying in the bathroom.
Yeah.
What are, I asked the same question to a mold.
Like, just out of curiosity, what are people listening to in high school right now?
What are they jamming?
Don't even know.
They don't know.
We weren't in real high school.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, you had like a unique.
Yeah, I do like online school.
I'm still in school.
I feel like all of us have honestly had weird, like, high school.
Some of us haven't even graduated.
I had to do online school for ever, like, I literally had no time to do regular school.
I remember when I was in high school, people were bumping, like, fucking, like little pee pepics.
Yeah, it's all rap stuff.
I think it's still like that.
Like, they're probably bumping like Osama's on blood.
Yeah.
I think it's very...
I think that's what they're bumping.
Yeah.
Or maybe Death Corps now.
Maybe...
No, I think definitely like...
Heavy music is definitely making like a resurgence in like the youth, you know?
Yeah.
Every time I record a band, I'm always curious.
I ask them, I'm like, is there like a little bit more emo kids at your school?
And then they're like, yeah, there's some emo kids.
But like, when I went to school, I've never seen one scene kid in my whole entire life.
Yeah.
But I think it is coming back a little bit more.
Oh, yeah.
You know what's funny?
It was like the school I went to.
it was distance learning so it's still a school but it's like a center so like you know there's
teachers and you can talk your teacher you go once a week turn your work whatever right and
every time i went in there i was the only kid who would have like band teas and shit like that so i was
always getting like the craziest looks like people were just like what the fuck like or like whenever
i would like strand my hair or whatever they just be like what the fuck's wrong with this kid like
they would ask me sometimes too like why do you do that why do you i went to redlands high school for
one week and
I don't know my friends
like started being dickheads for some reason
they just weren't hanging out with me for whatever reason
and I think I literally like
I went like three days
out of that week the first I couldn't find
my class so I just walked out of the school and
walked home like 30 minutes home because I was just like I'm not dealing
with this shit. Did you walk or skate? No I walked
like I was so pissed I was like fuck this shit
I'm not doing this. Yeah high school sucks
yeah and then like kids like I would try to make friends and they'd be
like who the fuck are you? Yeah like fuck
you. Yeah, that's how kids were, though, honestly.
Yeah, and then I just
left, and I don't know, maybe at Redlands High School, they
listen to alternative music now. Maybe I'd had friends.
Maybe, maybe it's a little more now.
Yeah, maybe. I mean, there were some kids then,
but like, I just didn't have friends like that.
I was always homeschooled. The same thing, but where
I lived, it was... This is your school?
Yeah, that's the school. That's the school I went to
for a week in freshman year.
It was a bulldog.
I think I skipped class, like,
the first weekend. I walked all the way home.
Yeah
No
High school sucks
Why?
Yeah
Say that
Why'd you walk home
Why'd I walk home
Why'd you walk home?
Because I couldn't hit my vape
That's cool
So I was like
I think
I think I saw my friend
And he lived like
Five minutes up the street
So I was like
Let's just go hang out your house
And then go
Like skip like two periods
And then go to lunch
And then school ends
Like a period after lunch
So
I feel like it's hard as fuck
To find a friend group
In high school,
bro
Like and I need to be around other people
Chronically online in high school, brer.
Like, because like no one was into fucking like
the music I was in high school and like middle school
Brer was just like chronically online.
Yeah.
What were people?
So there's probably for you, there's probably no one, huh?
Yeah.
I was like always like just the emo kid that was there.
Like everyone thought I was a girl and shit
because I had like long hair.
Because how beautiful you are?
Dude, Ethan.
There was times where Ethan would pull up
like in the earlier days of rev and I'm just like
this dude's beautiful.
Yeah, he's gorgeous.
Two!
Damn, dude.
Two!
Those hair is beautiful.
You don't see that.
You can see like in our older vlogs too.
He's looking at the camera.
He's just like, like, like, like, beaming.
Like the hair, the hair's blowing.
Yeah.
There's times I sent a picture of like us hanging out to my girlfriend and you just see the back of Ethan's hair and then she's like, what's that girl doing there?
I'm like, gang, that's Ethan.
That's me.
That's me.
That's it happens, bro.
I'm like,
Helene, you just got to be like, don't worry about it.
Dang, so for a moment, like the Victorville death course scene was Ethan.
Yes.
Thank you for that.
That's sick.
Wow.
When it's only you.
Ethan's probably been on all this shit longer than all of this.
Yeah, for sure.
I mean, like, ever since I was like maybe like five or four, my cousin, like, put me on to, like, escape the fate, hello young.
and like ever since then like i've been like hell into
heavy music like i also listened to a lot like
we came as romance it was like a lot of scene music at first
and then i got into like more heavier music and shit
as like i got older
but but yeah i really always a lot to like my family
my family's always been into like heavier music
and yeah yeah yeah so
Ivan his older brother is like oh yeah iven shout out ivan
shout out ivan he just he just knows ball
yeah he's
He's beautiful too.
Yeah.
They're both beautiful.
Those are Native American goats.
Yeah.
Whole family beautiful.
Native American goats.
Yeah, yeah.
My Ivan, too.
Like, my Ivan.
My Ivan.
My Ivan.
He took me to, like, my first show, too.
It was self-help in San Bernardino with a, I think it was like Pierce the Vell, like Stephen
Science.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, that was like my first concert.
I was like, this is fucking.
amazing. Didn't Cody
set up? Yeah, our manager
Cody, he helps set this up to
this festival.
He was doing it. We got to get a shout
out Cody. Yeah, shout out Cody. Yeah, shout out Cody.
Shout out, Brody.
I forgot how many years he did it. It was probably
two, three years. Yeah, yeah, they were doing it
for a bit. They should bring it back. Bring it back.
You probably can't bring it back now.
You probably can. That's sick.
Yeah, I remember.
Moose. Whitechapels on there?
yeah yeah the white chapel was on there the first year i went to 24 i think i think that's the one that you saw
right there the one with pierce the veil sleeping of sirens falling in reverse yeah yeah that's the one
you went to i love under oath too bro sane bro a day to remember come
dang dude rise against i like rides against yeah yeah that's the first one i went to right
that's the fall 2015 there was a amity affliction stick to your guns devil worse prada like
Nice.
Damn.
Y'all got to go to concerts,
you seen Andy Affliction back then?
Yeah, Amity Affliction went ours.
That's hard.
Funny thing, too.
The real Amity Affliction.
Yeah, right.
Oh my God.
No, that shit was crazy.
That she was crazy.
There's some concerts we all been at before we even.
Oh, yeah.
They met each other.
Before you guys even crossed past.
Yeah.
It's fucking crazy.
Me and Noah went to Nodfest in like, what was it?
Like 20-22?
I was supposed to go to that show.
He would have been there too.
I would have been there too.
My mom.
would have let me go.
Yeah.
Me and Ethan were at, and his brother Ivan were at a tsunami and downpresser.
Yeah.
At 1720.
What year was that?
Yeah, like 2023.
Early, yeah.
Probably Cros passed at the show.
Right before we met.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, it was crazy.
Probably Crosse passed at the show.
I think that was right next to him actually.
Yeah.
I think there was a video that we saw that we were like literally right next to each other.
Yeah, like we did not know each other.
Yeah, it was that one right there.
Yeah.
That show was so crazy, too.
I'm not going to like.
That was like my first ever show, too.
Because I only barely got into heavy music, playing guitar, and anything like that in general.
And like pretty much 2024, like 2023 and to 2023.
And so I like started with my friend because Noctaloo's did a tour with Suicide Boys.
They did like a gray day.
And I love suicide boys.
Like I've been listening to them since I was probably like.
like 13.
And so that's what got me into heavy music,
was seeing Knocked Loose play with them.
And I was like, oh, this is actually like sick.
My friend got a guitar.
We started playing and, yeah, no,
I went to this show and that was like my first real like show
with anything heavy.
Austin was an insane dirt bike rider.
Yeah, I devoted my life to that stuff to like I was 17.
And when we did that move to Missouri,
I kind of like was like,
do I want to keep riding and racing dirt bikes to be like a pro and live there?
by myself, you know, meet new friends or come back here, you know, but I wouldn't have my
parents and that stuff. And finances weren't the best. Dirt bikes are so expensive. And so I just
found music and just started playing the guitar. Yeah, right. But I just started playing the guitar right
then. And I was like, dude, I'm just going to try to be in a band. I don't even know how we're here
right now. Seriously, I'm not going to lie. You guys play, you guys put yourself here.
Yeah.
I zoned out so hard.
We're blessed to be here.
Sam, I'm not going to lie.
But that show was crazy.
How did we get here,
I was on the left.
We were on the left side in the front.
How did we get here?
That show was crazy.
I'm about to log out of the server real quick to take a peat.
Yeah, log out of the server.
Sam, I look to go out of piss.
You're trying to do a duos?
Let's run some duos.
You guys are both going to pee in the same toilet at the same time?
That's cute.
Oh, shoot. I'm going to man the post.
We got here.
because um hard work dedication
I remember
I remember being in this show
I couldn't move in I'll get you pretty far
that was the sweatiest I've ever been
I couldn't move an inch
the no drugs no party lifestyle
goes a long way
oh yeah we turn up though only on our own
yeah we just turn up amongst us in the studios
but like other than that
other than that no we don't invite anybody else
we don't hang with random people and stuff like
there's just we like to have fun with our friends man
our brothers yeah and I think that's
Play some video games.
You can drink amongst yourselves, smoke weed.
Just don't do it.
No, we throw crazy parties.
Nah, we party.
It's like Project X.
We throw Raver Pool parties.
You ever seen that movie, Chris?
Project X?
No.
That's an insane movie.
Project X?
Yeah.
Okay.
It's on my list.
It's just like a, it's stupid.
It's like a movie about these high school kids who like throw like the most insane party
of all insane.
all time.
We should do this.
Thomas Cubs birthday party.
Bro, before it even hits the first stage, Josh is freaking out.
Wait, what happened?
If we're to throw a part like this, before you even get to the first stage of people showing
up, you already start freaking out.
I fucking hate anything that has to do with anybody getting fucked up.
Hey, Josh did tell us to come over for the 18th B day.
He did, though.
I'm throwing a party, so.
Yeah, he wants to do drugs, a lot of drugs.
Yeah, I'm going to start doing heroin that night.
That's the downfalls that birthday party.
Oh, my goodness.
this.
The dog.
Our party's probably going to be just like us six,
a girlfriend's coronation.
No, I'm inviting everybody.
Yeah, it's not just going to be you guys.
No, we're going to invite the whole scene.
It's going to be a big scene.
It's going to be a big line.
It's going to be like everybody in the IE show up right now.
It's going to be awesome.
That's going to be Josh right there with the flame thur.
Yeah.
That's what I'm going to do the moment someone lights up a blunt in the backyard.
Yeah, right.
It's going to incinerate you.
It's just, it's a party going to.
going to be in redlands uh now it's going to be in high desert high desert oh my gosh we're making
the trek yeah it's gonna be the biggest it's gonna be crazy we're gonna get aiden on the grill yeah
oh oh bro i'll hop on the grill no honestly my girlfriend's family probably could get it probably set up
some ufc yeah put a tv out there we were rocking ufc this tour in the rv we were yeah and also
think i think about your band that i like is you're all in uh relationships oh yeah yeah yeah yeah
Yeah, it's good.
Yeah, don't hit us up, ladies.
We don't fuck with you.
Yeah.
So all the 30-year-old women that come up to me and be perverted, get the fuck away.
Stay away from my Josh.
Yeah.
No, they'd be doing that.
They'd be trying.
They'll be like, how old are you?
Oh, you're 17?
That's too bad.
I feel like it's a lot more motivating to know that what you're doing is going to be able to support
like those you love.
Stick with your ladies.
Because we'd be getting sad on tour sometimes.
Everybody starts missing their girls.
Absolutely.
Oh, yeah, dude.
Yeah.
It happens.
man.
Yeah, and also having a girlfriend's fucking awesome.
It is.
Especially when they've been, they've all been there before our bands.
Like, you know.
Like, none of these other people will ever, like, actually see us for us, you know?
Yeah.
For real.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, I met my chick when I was at, like, a low.
So it's nice to, I tell you she.
Oh, not the beer.
No, that they're not just there for the good parts.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It was during, like, the worst of, like, the worst.
Yeah.
So it's nice.
It feels good.
It feels nice.
It feels nice.
And to have, it gives you, I don't know, like, it gives you like a, it gives you like a other focus.
Another purpose.
A purpose and like a focus.
Yeah, I don't know, like there's no outside.
Yeah, it's like you like, you got your like relationship and you can focus on working.
Yeah, it's cool.
It's cool as fuck.
It is hard though, because you know, our ladies do have to do with us being gone on the road.
Yeah.
Which sucks for them, but, uh, you know, it's sort of work in progress with all of us.
We all love them.
Should be fine.
It should be fine.
It should be fine.
Yeah, they're the real secret weapons.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
They really hold you down.
Really hold you down.
Totally, dude.
Think about them in every decision.
What I miss.
Totally.
Talking about having girlfriends is awesome.
Yeah, having girlfriends is awesome.
Having a girlfriend is the best thing.
You could do.
All six members of Reverend is locked down.
It's locked down.
Are we all six?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Sorry ladies trying to chase Josh, but he snack.
Even if he was snagged by us.
he's not really single.
There's six of us.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
No, I'm actually...
This is a whole other relationship.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Wait, what?
Huh?
Wait.
I mean, kind of true, but...
Hey.
The band is really a whole other relationship.
2026, y'all, it's okay.
It's like, everybody's married, so you got to deal with everybody.
Yeah.
We all, like...
I'd be leaving with these fuckers for, like, months.
Dude, literally...
Look at us, boy.
It is a whole.
It is a whole other, like, relationship.
How did you take it?
He's standing right there.
He had a clicker in his hand.
The band is like one big girlfriend.
You're right.
And it's like you're married.
Yeah, it's one big headache.
Yeah.
No, it can be.
Maybe a one big party.
Neat reference.
Yeah, probably the worst.
One big party sucked.
Yeah.
You want to know what one big party was?
One big party.
I think Reverend played the worst festival in the history of mankind.
No, that's probably not true.
No, it has to.
It was, it was top five, at least.
Nobody got paid or nothing.
Yeah, we didn't.
We still haven't gotten paid.
Yeah.
Give us our fucking money, please.
Yeah. What the fuck?
We're at.
It was in Arizona.
You guys love Arizona because it made it guys pop.
It did.
It probably did.
It's not Arizona's fault.
It's the fucking promoter's fault.
They try to do like a mixed like rap, underground rap, underground,
underground heavy music.
It had so much potential.
It had so much potential.
It had like net spend on it and like.
Xavier Sobase.
The help was on it.
I saw the flyer.
It was crazy.
It was actually fun.
It was the execution.
It was crazy.
It was pretty packed.
Yeah, that show was.
Our set was pretty cool, though.
Yeah, we played hard.
All the dirt.
I remember.
Yeah, after the set,
everyone was fucking snodged as black.
Yes, bro.
I threw up so crazy after that show.
My guitar was like caked.
Bro, Aisa Wings.
Oh, Aisa Wings.
Got some grabs after that show.
Asa Wings.
Oh, is that corny?
Is that Corey?
Corey. Corey, shout out Corey.
We love Corey, bro.
It's a great turnout. What the hell?
Yeah, it was still fun. It was still cool.
It was just the way the fest was handled that made it so shit, like genuinely.
Security guards were beating up kids.
Yeah, it was really bad.
Artists weren't allowed in artist areas, even though you had a pass.
Is there even a victim blame video for this?
Probably is.
Yeah, this was like victim blames last show.
Literally victim's last show.
No, their last show is actually in Texas, guys.
Yeah, yeah, you're right, you're right.
Look at Josh.
That was so hard.
Yeah, I remember this show, we were, like, hell of sad about, like, just how the way things went down.
But we was like, fuck, we're going to hear a hard as fuck.
Yeah, you gotta go hard, man.
Gotta go hard.
What was the, almost got to ask about the new record.
What was the, what was the gear you guys used?
Okay, I'm gonna be honest, it was just DIY.
Fuck, yeah, dude.
We just di-eyed?
Okay, but actually one of the amps that Drew used, he used, like,
a bogner with the sauce with the swollen pickle we we six we did six guitar tracks so
three each side one of them one of them is like a fucked up tone the other ones like a
natural tone other ones low game just blended it all what what guitar did we use again
mainly oh yeah okay so the thing about it Austin's fucking has this crazy music man with
this insane tone we played all the guitars that we owned his had the craziest tone
and I think the whole time I was recording it he had this like knob that turns it
to like a single pickup.
It's a JP15 music man,
and it's got like the push-pull switch.
And I low-key fucked with the single pickup tone.
So like everyone could hate on us for that.
It kind of sounded fucking just.
That purple one.
It sounded crazy.
It was like, it's a purple color.
Yeah, that one.
Yeah, there it is.
We pop one of those knobs up and the tone just is crazy.
It's a little different model, but that's pretty much it.
We have bricked the fucking the whammy too.
We put a battery in the back.
Yeah.
That shit crazy's tone.
That's good, though.
I got, that's inspired off of Chelsea Gern, of course.
They run JP, you know, I don't know exactly which one, but they have music mans.
And it's like a very known, like, for a deathcore band to have passive pickups.
Oh, of course.
They sound great.
And so I always like that.
So I got one of those guitars because the passive sound is just really nice.
So a Bagner, Swan Pickle and a JP.
Yeah.
Wait, so you used a single coil?
So it's weird.
It's like, I'm not exactly sure.
what it is, but it's like a push pull.
It changes the...
I think when you pull it up, it turns it into a single coil.
I think so, yeah.
But it, like, low-key makes the tone, like, more distorted and crunchy, so we just rocked with it.
It's like a burn switch almost.
Interesting.
So I believe each pickup has, like, it's like split in half.
So you can, the switch allows you to use, like, two or one.
Different sides of each pickup as well as front and back.
It splits it.
Yeah.
Interesting.
Mm-hmm.
And the single coil was low-key better.
than the regular humbuckers so yeah oh wow nice yeah work what's that babe
right here too I love it I can love I can love it thank you the babe slap
dave rape roll call my ears are getting fucking destroyed by Aiden every time he does that
good oh yeah he's talking like two inches away from the microphone
he's like I don't know no
Hey Josh. Yeah.
Something you said, I was very proud.
Yeah.
So when people probably think about you,
when they think about like your influences,
they probably like death corn and stuff.
Yeah.
And like, where does it get hit his,
get his highs from?
But I heard you talk about dystopia.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Dystopia.
Stopia is what did it for me.
So who here has heard of dystopia?
They're Josh, yeah.
They're the goats.
They're the goats.
Yeah, it is.
So if you don't know
Dystopia, they are literally like
a de-goated crust band.
Yeah, no.
They are the
They have a band before dystopia, too,
that Dino, the drummer he was in
and he played drums and screamed in.
It was called Carcinogen.
That band's fucking crazy, too.
We could jam that too.
Yeah, that one's fucking sick.
But, yeah, it is that song
Stress builds character.
That was the first song.
Dude, stress.
The song I heard.
And I was like,
what the fuck?
Dude, can we pull up that
that song actually I had it in my notes to play a certain section and a song go like
140 one one one 45 in because his intro is long yeah the intro is long shit can we have it in the
head pose too this riff dude this clean yeah it's sick into a hole and die this isn't worth it
this band changed my life this rip dude is one of my favorite when it kicks in it's just fucking
insane it's like yo I've never heard a band like dystopia song right yes I've showed me this song right yes I've
I remember Cruz is back on the way home.
It's coming up.
All the homies have a dystopia patch.
Yeah.
Three minutes in.
Long intro.
Go fuck yeah, dude.
I wish they would do a reunion show.
Yeah, I heard about these.
They won't do it.
I know they won't, but I wish they would.
That fucking rip, dude.
It really does sound like Josh, though.
You can really hear it.
It kind of does.
It kind of does.
Yeah, this was 100% my influence for wanting to do vocal.
You can hear it.
Especially in like September.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, big time.
Dude Josh was a maniac in September.
I remember seeing clips of this dude.
He just looked like he came out to psych ward.
It was crazy.
Be on the floor, being everywhere.
Have you guys heard this song, Backstabber?
Yeah, no, that's my favorite song.
Backstabber is the best song.
One more song, Backstabber, I think it's like 75% in.
This album covers, though.
I like that part it's like dun dun dun dun dun dun dun you never
yeah yeah fucking blast this is the fucking part dude
legendary legendary no it's gone you can tell this is live recorded oh yeah
Shit tough though
So fucking tough
I'm so what dude Josh
When I heard you say that band name
I was like I was so like
Wow someone knows him
Yeah no
Bro people will make fun of you actually
For listening to that band for some reason
What is people's beef
With dystopia
It's because
Someone will explain
Okay so the kids that wear fucking
Jinkos and wear that fucking stupid
Shanka hat with which I mean you wear
What you want to wear
And like fucking wear
Where is a dystopia patch on it's just like
a meme, I guess.
Like, they just consider it like...
Just like when crust was like pop.
Yeah, dystopia blew the fuck up
around like 2022 or
23. Just out of nowhere.
I don't know. I don't know where, dude.
And everybody was just bumping and everybody had a
dystopia patch on. And then as
everything is, as soon as everybody
else likes it, it's all of a sudden not cool
anymore. A SpongeBob with the dystopia
right there. Yeah. That's
what they're meaming it off.
Oh, no.
Then? Why the fuck is now?
Why?
Wow.
The human bomber?
It's all the, like, you're a TikTok email, my space email.
The dystopia tramp stamp.
That's hard.
Noah's uncle used to play with dystopia and Earth Crisis.
What the fuck?
I didn't even know that.
Noah's uncle was in a...
It was actually yesterday.
Noah's uncle...
Oh, yeah.
He was telling me that they used to, like, he used to be, like, friends with, like,
Earth Crisis and Dystopia, and they used to play shows back then, like, out here in,
and Kelly.
What genre of band was his uncle in again?
They were, like, death metal.
They were like, they were like a death metal doom band.
Yeah.
I don't know.
What's his big?
No, it's not here.
I would tell you.
Noah's uncle's in a death metal band.
He's coming back right now.
He's going back into the tournament.
Oh shit.
What band is your uncle in?
No, what band was your uncle in?
Oh, he was in a band?
Really?
Oh, dude.
No.
He was like this all Spanish band.
It was like, he played in a death metal band.
What was it called?
He was telling me they were like doom and death metal.
Like, John.
Bro, their, their bio literally says slam or a death metal influence hardcore.
It was like in the 80s.
Fuck, bro.
You told me yesterday.
It's all good.
It's all good.
But they go hard, no.
They were playing with dystopia.
You got to find them.
As a, all fans, real fans of dystopia, giving the noise, people talk shit on them.
You cannot find other band like them.
Is it vulgar?
No.
I try.
I've looked and I'm like I cannot find another band even that closely like resembles.
Oh yeah, no one's ever said.
Oh, their name is leprra.
Leprera.
Leopard.
They were a death metal band.
You could find their demo.
I remember you showing me a video of them playing, bro.
I was like, this is crazy.
Yeah.
Three of my uncles played in the band.
One of my uncles was drummer, one bass, one guitar.
Yeah, dude.
Yeah, that's them right there.
That's not them.
So if you go on YouTube and look up leper.
live on YouTube,
you can see them playing at the whiskey.
The whiskey, a go, girl.
That's them right there.
They actually had like a slam breakdown
in one of their demos.
I'm not going to learn.
There's my uncle Fernando on the right,
on the bass.
My uncle Ricardo on the left on guitar.
Wow.
And my Theo Carlos on the drums.
There he is on the base, Raiders.
Our fantasy commission says for him,
all about the friendships.
Cute, Kevin, but I disagree.
Like with Bet365.
I get paid the second my team goes up big with early payout
and can cash out at any time before the game ends.
No hard feelings, Kevin.
Just faster payouts from Bet365.

Oh, they were going in seven.
saying oh they're sick pro shot too yeah and he was he was playing double bass he was cool
if you go onto their demo on YouTube you could see uh their their bio it says uh death metal
or hardcore influence death metal interesting you know it's funny his uncle's
first death core band ever no interesting hey fuck it his uncles are like the chillest
dees ever they could probably find the demo with the ball and just be like yeah right there
your uncle that hangs out's the one on that was on base yeah i don't know Spanish but one of these
songs his name like the bitch from hell
I think it's Las Duras de
inferno yeah if you go on
I think it's around 16 minutes
they have like a low key like a slam breakdown
it's kind of tough with like
sounds like a peeling flesh type breakdown
I'm not even trolling it's like bum
bum
but yeah if you go into the bio
if you go into the bio you can
see them say uh
it's like the timestamp
or no should say
hardcore influence death metal
this was like the shit back then
Dang.
That's sick, dude.
You think it was like early 90s maybe?
Not too sure.
Maybe late 90s.
Brutal deaf and on TV is the username.
That's cool.
That's cool, man.
Wow.
BDM.
So they would play shows with dystopia back in the day?
He said they knew system of a down before they blew up or something like that.
And they said they played with like some other like big names too.
But I believe him because my uncles aren't, they aren't close together.
no more, but they all have the same story of
how it all happened.
He was saying that, like, before Slipknot was
super, super big, and they would
come to tour through, like, L.A. and stuff,
they would go play with them.
Oh, wow. Crazy. Yeah,
they still go to the state, but none of my uncles are in the band
anymore. No, they're heavy, though.
They're heavy, though. Yeah, they're definitely brutal as fuck.
That's sick.
It's like classic death metal.
Damn, no, sick.
A chingada through mother.
Yeah.
What's you call me, dude?
Shit.
Okay.
Nice.
Pretty cool.
That's dope, man.
I think it's some bands
maybe you guys
haven't heard of.
I'm very stoked about the
dystopia thing.
Oh, yeah.
I wish they would play a show,
but...
Yeah, they probably want...
They said it is like
they don't want to go back on
to those memories of that, Dan, I guess.
The story's crazy, though,
of Dino talking about it.
Wait, what is the story?
Just like the way they grew up, they're all just fucked up.
Just like, dealing with crazy emotions, you know?
So it leads you into the music pathway.
But it's a three pieces.
Man, it's put aside for like an hour.
Yeah.
I was so sick.
It would be biggest book.
Fucking awesome.
But that's that real shit, though.
Not it is.
Not true.
On money for a show,
ah, fuck it.
Nah.
Fuck it.
Other drummer, bro.
Do I always look for bands that sound like I can't find any band?
No, you're never going to be able to.
No one could ever do what they did.
And at the same time, people talk shit on them.
It's like, well, yeah, it's fucking ridiculous.
It's like, try to find other band like them.
You won't.
No, you won't.
That's the thing.
Not even fucking close.
People will talk shit on anything at this point.
Oh, dude.
Yeah.
Just to seem cool, I feel like.
Yeah, we actually fucking suck according to the internet.
So, no.
I mean, we do suck, but.
Yeah, like, I'm not going to deny it.
Like, I agree.
It's what is what?
It's very important why you gotta do things in person because you'll see something online, but you gotta see it in person.
No, if you didn't see us live, then I please don't talk shit. It doesn't make sense.
I've seen bands where they're actually dog shit and I saw them live and they were bad.
Our bands are, our songs are made for the live show.
But then again, music is subjective, you know? What I think is bad is probably not that bad, you know?
Like, and at the end of the day, that's just the truth.
Yeah.
Like, what's the point of saying your opinion online?
like because there's gonna be a hundred other people
who don't feel that way.
Just like, honestly, if we kept shit in
and didn't talk about it so much,
I think the scene would be better.
It's even weird realizing you fuck with the distorted fucking sound.
Yeah, like, you know, when you listen to, like, pop music
after you listen to, like, deathcore or, like, electronic?
He's a good way to put it.
And it's like, bro, this shit is so distorted,
I see why nobody likes it at all.
But, like, we like it for some weird reason.
Yeah, we like it for some reason.
So why not stick together?
Like, how are you gonna call something ass that is like,
like looking from an outside perspective every like a normal person is gonna think it's dog
shit either yeah so it's like so it's like let's just stick together guys it's always funny to like
when like a family like a relative ass to hear your music and you're kind of just like i don't think you're
like it yeah yeah no i had an uber driver today he was like what's your band called and i was like ah
just know like it's gonna be like this and you're not gonna like it or even i showed my mom our
our album in the car recently and she's grown to like understand deathcore a little bit more but
even then when i was showing her as she was kind of just like just look on her face she's like wow
it's like it's like they start sweating it's like yeah like i don't even know my mom can listen
to like probably like 10 seconds of a reverent song and she'd be like what are you guys even doing
yeah i don't know i love my mom though but she does not understand that at all
yeah that's how it is that it's okay she appreciates it
My dad fucking loves it.
Oh, his dad is so funny, bro.
My dad's fucking awesome.
He's the dean.
The dean.
The dean.
The dean.
The dean.
The spleen.
It is an interesting sound for someone I like it.
It's so over the top.
Yeah.
I think that's why we like it.
It's just so in your face.
It's kind of so over the top.
It kind of like just numbs everything.
When you listen to it, you're like, I'm so.
Hold on.
I've never seen this.
Deathcore and Death Metal is the heaviest music I've ever heard so far.
of anything. I don't think there is anything heavier.
Yeah, no, it can't get heavier than that.
Can't get heavier than deathcore. No, no it can't.
It has death metal and hardcore. Like slam is heavy as fuck so is death metal too, but like it's just like it's just like it's just
It's like all three and one. Yeah, like you got all three hardcore. You got slam. You got death metal and you just put it together and it's just fucking peak. Yeah, it's peak. Yeah, it's peak. It's fucking peaked up dude.
It's fucking peaked up.
And some bands made it possible.
which were like, uh, it's like, there is, there is no ceiling anymore.
Like what, what do you guys think of bands like, oh, no, no,
or shore or something?
I mean, like, no hate to Lorna Shore at all.
It's just not my particular thing I, like, would listen to.
I think they're very impressive, like, impressive, but it's like, what,
symphonic death core or something?
Like, it just has, like, this, like, Viking noise to me or something.
You gotta give them their flowers.
Like, I give them their flowers.
They're insane.
Like, but just me personally, it's, it's too technical for me.
Yeah.
Like, I just like that shit that just makes your brain go numb.
Yeah.
But it's so insane.
So it kind of destroyed you like, okay.
No, they're impressive.
Like, you could really do anything.
I don't know why people.
I wouldn't talk shit on Lorna Shore.
They fucking literally.
I think they deserve it.
Yeah, they deserve everywhere they're at.
Warner Shore is the reason why we're like, probably we even got as much attention as we did.
Yeah.
Because the bands like that, they keep going.
They kept it going.
That shit matters.
Also, fucking Will Ramos is just fucking insane.
They're all fucking.
fucking the most insane, like, fucking musicians I've ever met.
Like, people are where they're at for a reason.
Dude, like.
Austin Archie, bro.
That is just insane.
Different.
I feel like they're also part of that, like, wave of death core that came after the suicide silence
and all the, like, very, like, very, like, flowy, like, got rhythm to it.
And then it became very technical.
Everybody trying to compete on, like, the sickest riffs.
Like, solos.
Obviously, they're the top of it.
So, like, they're amazing.
musicians and I can never
I mean maybe one day do the things they do
and shit up there but like
is it my specific style that I go and
listen to and I would say is my favorite no
but like can I say they're bad or
hate on them? Absolutely not. We don't even
bump death core that much. Yeah we listen to
fucking metalcore and
rap music all the time. But like if deathcore does come on
the classics just hit every time.
Yeah the classics. That's what it makes us
like deathcore more is that we listen to it
so much that we can put on like
Britney Spears and just
Yeah
I love Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga's
fucking hate
It's all about
Catching a vibe
I feel
I feel we're asking
Oh no
I'm not trying to
Fuck
How do you do this
If you're
If you're jamming
Death Corps
What are you jamming?
Oh
Come on suicide silence
I thought we're asking
I'm sorry
Yeah
Suicide silence
Suicide silence
White Chat
Bring me the horizon
Chelsea Green
bro
I'm always
We love Chelsea Green
We love Chelsea
Bring me
Early
bring the horizon. I like Whitechapel.
There's like... I love the Spice icon, too.
The Spice icon.
You see how it's...
You see how it's...
Just the classics, though. Like, when we come to bump music,
like, there's a reason why the classics are the
biggest and the most slap.
We don't... Like, it's cool to find all the underground bands
and, like, be trying to be the most needs.
There's a reason why... There's a reason why...
The Spice icon, bring me the horizon.
There's a reason why that you guys were the biggest
in all of it. Demolisher.
That's why that's the shit that we bump, you know,
when it comes down to it.
Yeah, what? Yeah. I guess I'm gonna ask like, like, let's just pretend that I'm just like a, like a random guy. I'm just like a random host. I'm trying to get a like objective answer. Yeah. Just because I'm trying to tell like your story plus like the death core story. But it's weird because I'm in it. So just so okay, I'm like some random guy. I'm all right. I'm just a weirdo. Okay. So what is it about suicide sounds, the first record that just bumps? What, what is it?
we go one by one because everybody's about to be like so much like okay i don't uh me personally
just how fucking in your face it is and it it almost doesn't sound like death core it sounds like
grind core to me that's what i like about it i like the breakdowns how they're not like just like
dun dun dun dun dun like it's just like sludgy kind of and that's my favorite it just destroys you it's
just like it's so raw yeah and that's that's my favorite deathcore album i mean i have it tattooed on my inner
arm. You actually got the tattoo. Yeah, I actually have it right here. Wow, dude. That's my favorite
album. Yeah. Dude, it's a combination of so much shit. It's the fucking, the transitions, the
structure. The feeling the most, though, about suicide silence is like the craziest. I just love
the rawness. Like the rawness. It's the most in your face. That's why you guys. The crazy
random transitions are like Alex like, oh, how about instead of doing a transition, I just play a blast
beat on the breakdown and then it hits the breakdown. That's the transition. That's the
transition like shit like that
Alex is such a sweet heart the way the guitar
is like sometimes like
it's just like like for instance like the fallen
like them
you know what I'm saying about like
it's not even supposed to make sense
like yeah it theoretically it's not in key
but like it fucking goes crazy as far
yeah like I don't know it's just
personally just the heaviest
fucking deathcore album it's just the heaviest
and like there's gonna be nothing to replace it
so it's just like what it is for me is
like you can like the fact that you guys
one recorded it like jamming no met style for real there's that feeling listening to the songs like
even if you know it was made that way or not I feel like gives it sounds like you're out of show
yeah like you're out of show and then I just feel like the no hardcore aspect of it that I think
Mitch brought into the suicide silence to where it's like nothing but just the heaviest shit like
yeah tough parts and sick fast parts there's no like because I feel like the hardcore I love hardcore
Don't get me wrong.
Like, that was what I started before I found Death Corps and eventually became like that more.
Like a lot of times there's only so many hardcore beats on like two steps.
Things you can really do.
Yeah, there's not like two steps on that album.
So I feel like it just has its own.
Like it, there's nothing like the cleansing.
I was going to say like, so like you look at Chelsea Green, you look at Suicide Science, for me, my two biggest inspirations.
I bunch of you guys the most.
But like the thing I like about suicide signs, like the key difference is like suicide.
Suicide science will put so much pressure until that bottle just explodes and onto the breakdown and then like Chelsea Grin will kind of like make you feel like you feel like you know when it's coming. It'll make you feel like you're floating. But like suicide science is just constant aggression. Exactly. Suicide like, suicide like especially the cleansing. There's just no no room to breathe. Like there's always it's just always it's just going up. Going going going. There's not a moment for you to just kind of like take it. And then it hits out of nowhere. It's like the way it's written with Chelsea Grin. You could listen to it and like it's. It's just going to. It's. It's like it's.
awesome and you could you can tell when a breakdown's coming you're floating up to me you don't know when
the shit's gonna hit you not know when the fuck a suicide time's breakdown's coming and it'll be the
hardest breakdown you ever heard it'll be at the most intense part like that's what i like you
guys build the intensity you're like nah i know i can hit the breakdown right here but i'm we're
gonna keep going fast and then it's gonna explode or like in a photograph how it's just like it's just
going and then you hit the part and everything what's your guys favorite song off that album
the disease bludgeon a death bludgeon a dead green monster
Green Monster 2, yeah.
But the disease.
What's the extra song you guys have on there?
Swarm?
Personally.
No, not Swarm.
It's a dead current.
I really like that.
That's my favorite suicide sound song.
I like that, that era.
The rare ass shit.
Oh, yeah.
That's the best.
Yeah.
A dead current, so it's fucking good.
It was like addiction.
Distorted thought of addiction.
So hard.
So, yeah.
Bro, the disease is just so fucked up.
Distorted.
It's like, did it, da, da, da.
It's like fallen.
It's all fucked.
It's the,
yeah.
And I like how you guys, like, you guys structures are.
Like, you'll bring the rifts back and, uh, Mitch will, like, switch it up, too.
Yeah.
He'll, like punch with it.
That cover is iconic for me, too.
I just, I always love just the, the vibe, the look of this.
Rare ass shit.
Rare ass shit.
Did I have a shirt from y'all's EP era?
Who sell it?
No.
I told them they give it to me because I'm, I'm the biggest suicide.
Swarm.
Yeah, Swarm's so hard.
I don't know if you're a bigger fan than me, but.
I don't know if you're the,
I think I am bro.
I don't know about that one.
I might be.
Green monster, definitely.
We're going to start fighting about it.
The price of beauty.
Oh no.
Chris, what?
It's right here.
Who was it that mainly took a lot of you guys' photos?
Was it, was it Adam?
Um,
was it Adam?
Um,
wait,
what, uh,
like,
what era?
Was it big chocolate?
Like,
during, like,
cleansing or,
like, no time to bleed.
I'll get you the rarest.
I'm just curious because,
like,
those photos were just so, like,
fake.
Oh,
they're just so good.
Oh,
oh,
no, dude.
I don't I don't remember like it's just random photographers it just it just depends what like like this one I hear yeah even these these
these make sure that's hard I try to cancel this the shoe because I was hung the fuck over I call I call it I'm not going you look tough though
I'm not gone and then I had someone tell me you have to go eat piece of shit the stroke in the back too
this is uh like the placement of like the lights there this is a how do you how do you I do you
say his name he is Hungarian
uh herristo
he's taking photos for five green death punch
a lot of metal bands but he
has that look so a lot of those
photos you see so he did like all out
of the known ton of bleeds stuff cleansing i don't remember
because i know photos do you know who adam elmokaius
is no uh he
he did he's a day to remember's photographer
colon marks but he did a lot of like
like the that era of bands i remember he
he did the shoot for you guys i think during the cleansing era
where you guys are in a field
and Mitch has his hair
kind of long.
It was just like, damn.
Yo, Chris.
Damn.
Just damn.
I have a question.
That's sad.
What was your guys' like mindset
to like keep you guys going
during like the earliest days
when you guys were doing the most
tragic headline tours
trying to get shit going?
What was the mindset?
Like what was the motivation?
What was the motive?
What kept y'all going?
What would like you guys always say
to like keep you guys going?
What like when shit's like
in the plane up,
You're playing in front of a fucking empty-ass room type shit, yeah.
Yeah, head banging harder harder than who knows.
What was the motivation?
I mean, it's just love.
You have, I always tell people that, like, the image in my head is the same as,
because my first show ever was corn rob zombie in 99.
And I heard corn at first time, like, a few months prior.
It was back to back.
like the single came out got got the life you're in town my my my my dad took me remember seeing monkey
at the uh blockbuster pavilion which is where you saw us at uh mayhem yeah um i was like i remember
like seeing him like i i can't listen to him anymore i have to be on there i have to like
it's fucking hard i can't i can't i can't just listen to corn like i'm going to tour with him
I'm going to be on his side.
And to this day, like, I'm from 41.
It's the same image like this.
Just wanted to play guitar, wanted to be in a band,
wanted to make records.
Wanted to, I don't know, it's just like the trust of,
I always trusted like the sound.
Like, because it came from a pure place.
I always trusted suezance, like the sound.
Like, oh, no, I don't think anyone sounds like this.
Yeah, no.
Let's just fucking pursue it.
So many people have tried to copy suicide songs too, and nobody has ever been able to.
You notice how a lot of people that make Death Corps when they first start, it has like some type of melodicness to it.
Yeah.
I don't know how people don't, like, I feel like that's a thing when you fuck with Death Corps for you're so long.
You like realize like, why is it my shit sounding heavy?
It's because you don't realize like it's kind of melodic a little bit.
It is, yeah.
It's something to it.
People don't realize that, especially when it comes to suicide silence.
There's no...
Every trim rifts, just all...
It's like just all brutal only.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's hard to Loki keep it all brutal only.
Yeah.
I mean, even then, like, same now, same then.
Like, I've always played from my soul.
It's like, it wasn't like a sound for me.
It was like, this is who I am.
This is like...
This is...
One thing I always admired was the simplistic hard riffs.
Like, dude, they're like just...
The hardest is right?
I told, say it all the time.
Right on simple rifts, it's the hardest to fuck.
They just flow so good.
Yeah.
To this day it's still the hardest fucking thing ever.
The simple she goes fucking crazy.
But if this moose people are like, where did that come from?
I don't know.
It's like a blood and brutality.
Yeah, people say we have no riffs and they we just play great games.
That's the best.
Yeah, right?
Okay, good.
No risk.
Which isn't true.
We definitely have risks.
People that tell you have no riffs cannot write riffs.
Yeah.
True.
Yeah.
I mean, if it's so easy, I mean, you know,
Hey, 1.10, 1.1.1. That's a riff.
Even writing the best
0, like, chug pattern with
not even fretting anything.
Like, the best thing ever.
It's low-key hard as fuck, dude.
I'm sorry, dude.
Like, that's why I'm fascinated by, like,
by the fretboard.
Because, like, you could go,
you could stay at 1-0 forever.
And the patterns are infinite.
Yeah.
The show was insane.
Like, you, like, you, it has to find you.
Every chug pattern got a different vibe to it.
If they're all different.
fucking fascinating
you guys should
tour in New York
it's it's a it's a lifelong journey
of finding that fucking
one zero riff that just hit
and stay and it's unique
and people say that it's like you don't have riffs
they can literally cannot do it
and that's what fucking pisses me off
like it always came from a fucking real
place and I always trusted it
I've always loved it
always I feel it and I feel like sometimes
when you get too technical
it kind of takes away the emotion sometimes
yeah that that's a whole other
fucking problem like your brain will
in the way. Yeah. My brain comes in
like wants to change the riff. Oh, it's too simple.
My brain comes in and it's like,
oh, do I do this, but like,
but you moving,
it's different when it's this.
All right, okay, the riff needs
this, but when this comes in
and wants to move this, it
loses something I cannot, like,
because then you're trying to think of what can sound
cool. Instead of just
play it and you're like, oh, that's cool and then you put it in
and then you're like, oh, now you're trying to think
of how to make it better. It's like, yes.
Those slight little notes
Which is.
It's fucking fast. Songwriting is still like
This fascinating in me.
It's just creation.
I was like, where does it come from?
I don't know.
Yeah.
It's weird.
I was told that a lot over and over-analization can ruin a song.
Yeah.
I remember being told that a lot.
Like I bet those two breakdowns
we were talking about earlier about Reverend.
I bet those were just off the dome.
Oh yeah.
and then it's stay that way that whole entire song of blood and brutality was off the
don't yeah this full Austin broke his car down came back to my crib we made it and then he
went home pretty much that's how it is see it's so bizarre man how we guys feeling i mean i mean are you
asking because i mean are you feeling a certain way when you're out on the road right now i just
uh no i just feel like would love to just i just love hearing about you know yeah
other people's experience is what keeps you guys going especially you've been like in all the positions we wanted to be in so like we could just learn yeah i always tell you guys that hit hit me up at any time because uh i i think i told you guys already this like no one really knows no one really knows what the right move is to deal with you guys yeah like no one i can't give you advice like no one no one could really give you a advice like no one no one could really give you a advice like no one no one could really give you a vice you a vice you a vice you
but I like sharing experiences and I like sharing well okay this didn't work so I'll say hey
this didn't work for me so stay weird from this and maybe that that could kind of speed up your
process yeah not facts bro especially that day we hung out like at the end of that show just
talking you that day yeah that was we needed to hear that like the aura okay okay what
what here's the upcoming heaven legend has it so
So when people say aura, what does that mean?
Okay.
For instance, when Josh walks into the room, like, you just feel the aura.
It's like, yeah, it's just when somebody walks in and like, like, if you just see
somebody, you're like, damn, like, you just feel the power level.
Or they just have some sort of like.
It's more like this fool's got it.
He got that drip.
He got that drip.
He got like, think about it.
Like, he got like a shield around him, but it's just like a shield of drip.
You should get this particular vibe around.
I think about it like the Dragon Ball Z like key aura that they have.
It's like a good example, Chris is like, when you watch.
walking a room but everyone's like yeah like
or like that's Chris Garza
aura or yeah
but they're just like wow
that's how that's how it really
that's you bro
you're super saying blue kayakio can't
like when we walked into the green room after the show
and everyone is trying to talk to you
or aura
we just got that
yeah
I walk in the mic
I'm a fucking loser
no we all do that
we all do that
wait damn
it's so crazy to think about that aspect of it too right
like when I was a kid looking at pro
dirt bike riders you're like to meet these people oh yeah totally people are just people but it's like
the compliment accomplishments people make these things that you dream to do is is what makes them
special you know and like yeah not that that's all that makes you special but that's just the way that
people can grasp onto somebody's accomplishments and not take it for that and just think like oh this
person is just like so you know it's yeah yeah it's weird or i i have a question i got a lot of the
server y'all.
Go Pete.
Go Pete. Go hit solos.
Have you ever had
like a crazy
like stalker or just like a crazy
fan? You had
the shit that was just like memorable.
There was
I can't go into it too
much but it is kind of serious
but it's it happened
years ago and it's still happening.
Oh what? Yeah.
A stalker? It's not a I wouldn't even
It's not like a specific person or is it?
I can't,
I can't speak on it.
I'll tell you,
I'll tell you,
I'll tell you,
I'll pod,
but it's,
uh,
no,
people,
I,
dude,
music is awesome,
but sometimes you get put in weird fucking scenarios.
Like,
you never thought you would be in,
like,
dude,
I just wanted to play an instrument.
Right,
right.
And there's this whole other slew of shit
that I didn't even know I had,
like,
that's what we've been,
like,
thinking about lately in music.
It's like,
as we go on these tours,
we kind of realize how fucking interesting
all this shit is. It's like
we're having conversations about it.
Like when we just started it was just the six of us
but now it's like we got like 30 people
on the label like and then like
and they're amazing. They're amazing.
It's just like so interesting that like there's such a
big world out there.
It is man. Being on the road is weird
it's awesome meeting
uh bands. It's fucking amazing.
But just like every interaction is just
so interesting sometimes like it doesn't
even feel like you're
I don't know.
It just doesn't make sense.
It just gets weirder.
Just gets weird.
That's what I'm starting to find out, bro.
For real.
It does get weird.
We came to this realization like a month or so ago.
This shit is so weird.
We were just on the road.
We were like, damn.
Why are we even out here?
Yeah, like, what the fuck are we doing?
It's crazy.
You guys are following your dreams and your heart?
Yeah.
Maybe that's why I gravitated toward your band in the first place.
um
I'm very like
picky about when I go out
but it's something that's just drawing me to
your your band
I don't know
it's like it's like it's like an
unexplainable
unattainable word
it's like just some
there's something about like the sound
aura yeah could be
we got no aura
sound like there
it's like a sound aura or I guess
what is that or like a set
I don't know
it's like a
you know what it is
it's a fucking frequency
you're either on it
or you're not.
Yeah.
And you hit a frequency that I fucking hit, so I fucking listen.
And that's what I'm saying.
It's crazy because, like, you guys have all these interviews that you've done.
Like, we've literally watched those things.
And, like, so in a way, like, you were genuinely speaking to us when you really think about it.
Yeah.
And, like, you're a big part in the way we are, even though we barely got to meet you a year ago.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Thanks.
Like, it's crazy.
It's so weird, man.
It's weird because you guys are a part in my life, too.
It's weird.
Yeah.
We really look up to you, Chris.
That's cool, man. Thank you.
It's been such a weird ride, man.
It's like I mentioned at the show.
It's such a weird ride.
Destruction of a Statute is one of the first songs I ever learned
how to play on guitar for real.
Wow.
I'm also new to guitar compared to a lot of people I meet and be around,
but for me to just get into music
and kind of just find death core is like what I liked
when I found heavy music.
suicide silence was obviously already
that's the shit
Mitch had already been gone
it's like it's just the best bro
you know yeah
you can't top that let's be real you guys already set the bar
yeah we really understood like
we really understood that too right in the album it's like
do not try and go for the things that suicide silence
did they're already at the top of the game you can't top it
like so you know but we could we could try and show our
inspirations though you know what I'm saying
but our album is very
is very us, you know?
I feel like it's very reverent.
We did it a lot in our own way.
You guys
you guys could top it,
but you're topping like
it's something else.
Yeah, exactly.
It's just reaching a different level.
Because we don't,
I don't think we sound like at all.
I don't know,
I was listening to record.
I'm like,
you guys are going.
I think the goal is,
you have your own road right now.
Yeah.
The goal is establishing
or trying to get reverent
to a point
that suicide silence did
with themselves
as reverent.
Of course.
Becoming reverent and then people being like,
oh, you can't talk reverent is the end goal
just like you guys did with yourselves.
Like you can't do suicide science better than you guys did it.
Hopefully we can't get out reverented.
Because no one has Josh's voice.
No one has your hands, your hands, your hands, your hands.
Like, so whatever you do is it's going to be you.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like our stuff is very different to suicide silence.
like very different but you can feel the intel the inspiration you can tell the inspiration though
but it's like I said it's not in the riffs it's in the feeling yeah I did that with uh with
corn in the metal I took like the spirit so yeah it's why why they do it not just take the sound
but why are they doing what they're doing yeah did you get some of your like stage style from
them oh fuck because like I feel like the I can tell the Chris Garza is probably really just like
the corn but I see it is the Chris Garza like
A lot of the way you do specific things.
Yeah.
I guess it takes 20 years for people to stop saying monkey.
But now it's like a whole other thing.
Why, people would say that?
Oh, yeah.
Well, I mean, it's monkey, West Borland.
Yeah.
Yeah, monkey goes fucking hard.
Jim Rood.
Jim Rood.
And Garza.
Wow.
Oh, thanks, man.
And Garza.
I guess it's just time.
What did I miss in this conversation?
Wow.
What were we talking about?
You missed everything, bro.
They're just talking about.
Fantasy Commish says for him it's all about the friendships.
Cute, Kevin, but I disagree.
Like with Bet365.
I get paid the second my team goes up big with early payout
and can cash out at any time before the game ends.
No hard feelings, Kevin.
Just faster payouts from Bet365.
The home of winning early.
Must be 19 and older.

50 years, Canadians have wondered what the names of IKEA furniture mean.
Like Natopa, the guardrail for children's beds.
Natopa means giving your favorite person room to grow.
It means their safety and your piece of...
No.
In Swedish, Natapa means night monkey.
Mom, he's back.
Ikea, 50 years of Swedishness at home.
Look, he's wearing little pajamas.
So cute.
Not there's no outdoing like suicide science, but there's like well, we're we're just trying to reach our own goal.
What?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
What you guys did that I liked was because when, when rubber came back, it was like, deathcore wasn't really a thing yet again.
So once you guys are out now, we kind of became like, okay, there's like a handful of bands around you guys.
What I really like that you guys did that we did was when it became time no fucking.
do the first record
you go out
you record
you record
you get a producer
spend the money
and just take that
fucking extra step
yeah
yeah
that's what we did
as you take that
fucking big leap
dude to we're like
oh shit well
all right
mm-hmm
100%
I guess we're doing
and people hate you for that
sometimes
they do
they don't like that
we're signed to a major record label
or
like doing all this other
other shit. They fucking hate it. People see us
as sellouts now. Yeah. But they don't realize
that we literally played shows to fucking
five people. We self-produced our first
two EPs. We put our... People think we're an industry
plan. I'm like, bro, we fucking put in the
same work as all these other local bands.
Our first tour we did,
fucking first two tours. Booked ourselves.
Fucking full-scented. Didn't make no money.
Being hungry, bro, on the road. Like, straight out.
Actually, that first tour, we never
fucking hungry, bro. We ate so much food.
We did. That's how why we came back when
money. It was the first official tour we had to get some good
eat. We weren't gonna come back with a lot of money either way. Yeah, but the money we
could have had was some decent cash. Yeah, but we bought Airbnb's every night,
eight at the gas station. What's who what's in the ref chicken? The rev chicken? Yeah,
who's fucking cooking up that? I be trying to cook up the chicken. See the vape?
Yeah, oh we did blow the vape into some chicken one time. Yeah, you got to hit
the geek bar and go
I don't know
my mom just makes
she makes orange chicken
that the guys like
and then uh
but it's not really
orange chicken bro i'm not gonna lie
it's really just random seasonings
we're like yeah that yeah we just like go
we just like go on the door dash and we're like
oh this will be nice
yeah wow the thing about our RV we could cook in there too
yeah so we be trying to get some cooks
going like some good eating
eating healthy matters especially when you're playing
death core and just fucking going hard as shit
you need to eat good like a bunch of
the shit food, bro. You're gonna feel like shit.
Yeah, otherwise they're gonna be sore 24-7 and shit.
One of the main rev meals is
beef-and-eg. Beef-and-eg burritos.
Yeah. I saw that.
Beef-ep-neague, dude. You guys are so
far, so far ahead of me.
It's so fucking watch. I didn't think about
food until like 26.
Oh, you guys should probably eat healthy.
You guys are already thinking that.
We try to work out on tour sometimes.
Are you working out? We slack heavy, but
we'd be slacking.
Yeah, we'd be slacking.
be slacking but we we lock in when it's needed yeah yeah okay so sick dude wow you
guys were fucking ahead of me it's awesome you're gonna be there too when you grow up
I'm still growing up dude I'm still we all are I feel like you never stop growing up
always getting older I mean well that is true yeah no you know for fucking mine
explodes oh yeah my never stop growing up my uh my if I fix something my lady will
find some something else hey you probably you know
fix that deal
I'm like that
that's how it be
but hey
it's helped me
like
dude she's helped me
I can't even
I don't even
recognize myself
in the mirror sometimes
like you're like a
different person
the whole
for the better
yeah
yeah
it's like wow
I always like
little like things
you have to fix
about
about yourself
it's like
wow
six months
or like a year
or like a year
or five years
I'm like
wow
holy shit
yeah
bro yeah
bro we're always
trying to
fucking personally
like just change
that shit is so
yeah
No matter what, whether it's how fucking stubborn we are, because we're all, we're stubborn.
I think me and Noah are probably the most stubborn people.
Yeah, we're pretty stubborn.
You guys ever like a fucking butt heads or?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
But the apology comes like literally instantaneous.
Like, we always apologize, but, no.
You got to think about it.
The age difference between me and Josh, I'm 24, he's 17.
It's like brothers, these two.
Yeah.
It's like my little bro.
It's like, it's like this shit's ass.
and then this shit's ass and then we're just both like
you gotta see it as like
you're arguing with family
you know at the day you can't
you can't hold someone to some shit like that
you know what I mean
like every time we go on a tour on our first show
Josh is like you guys got too drunk
yeah
yeah I'll be
I'll be moderating that
I'm always like y'all are getting too lit
we gotta wait till after the set
and then I'm like one of my mind
I'm like hung over like who's this little youngster
and then I'm like nah this dude
pretty legit you're very matured though not gonna lie not it's because sometimes you just gotta realize
like it comes off as like oh they're ruining my fun but it's really just like you don't want to
embarrass yourself yeah the main thing about us that we be saying is like everybody got to hold
each other accountable like there shouldn't be one person like checking you it should just be like
you see you check each other check each other you know especially when you're on the road you got to
treat it like like a job as much as possible too like you're you're there to to to keep an
You know what I mean? You can't just fuck around all the time otherwise you're not gonna get the job done like yeah
We want to have a good image and of course have fun, but like when you're
Fucking set up early be on time do your sound check on time
Take make sure you have everything together when you're all done with your set immediately take that shit off
I go to the merch stand immediately if like where someone else is not selling it for us
We also have a lot of young fans and so having a good image and being able to have their parents and people feel comfortable and
do what we did. Fucking stay in school.
Yes, bro.
I guess in this instance, it only works out that we didn't.
Okay, did any one of you graduate?
Yeah, I did.
Okay, cool.
Three of us.
I had to go to, I'm on my way to graduating.
I graduated in the spring.
I went to a fucking one of those schools where you only went one time a week with
like one teacher, so did Josh and Mario.
And then I think Austin too, but.
I was like, yeah, it was very, my, my educations everywhere.
I'm probably the only one who actually experienced high school
through all the way through. He really is.
Everybody else, I think we're all nerds that
like everyone thought I was so stupid. I never spent a day in
high school. We're nerdy in a different way.
Some fucking geeks, bro. After middle school, I went into home school.
I was going to public school for like
three years of high school, but my senior year,
I just went to like a charter school, but
yeah, also over it. We were the kids getting
like roasted, like, who's the ugliest kid
in class type shit.
Damn. Yeah. I was like
Yeah, straight out. They got me like that.
No, I didn't was, was being a chat.
I never experienced that.
I was always singled out, bro.
You look good, man.
Who had the way of high school?
Aidan was a chat in high school, bro.
Yeah, it was a chat, yeah.
He was moving different.
He was Mr. Popular, probably.
He was.
Class plan or a year.
Mr. Popular?
Nah.
Nah.
No, I was just there.
I mean, everybody knew me, but I was just there.
That's the best experience to get him in high school.
I literally got away with everything and anything you can get away with in high school.
Like, like, I would smoke with my teeth.
teachers and we get high during like passing
period. Dude.
Bro, I'm not going to lie, we were just the
other day at his house in Texas
and this dude's drumline teacher
is just hanging out with
us to like smoking in his backyard.
Talking about AI. It was
my physics teacher. Oh, his physics, bro,
until like four in the morning, dudes out there
getting lit. Yeah. Yeah.
Smoking with them. Just getting
faded. It's so funny.
It all makes sense.
It's reverent.
man
man we're like
who's like the ugliest kid in like
in like the high desert
and they pulled a picture Noah
dude
that's fucked up
is that
is that what happened to you
yeah I remember like my freshman year
like these two like girls
that would always mess with me
like they came up to me
and they were making it
they were like making a joke
like one of them is gonna have to go to
homecoming with me
like it was gonna be a tragedy
oh my god
yeah like who's gonna be the one that has to do this
fuck those
fucked up because all the girls be coming up to know of it.
No, they don't.
They do.
Yes, they do.
No one said you pursued them.
They just come up to you.
No, they be all up on Josh, bro.
Josh definitely got the pool in the band.
Deflecting.
Dude, they'd be like 30-year-olds with children and shit.
Oh, my God.
Yeah.
Josh is like Iron Man or not Iron Man.
What's his name?
Captain America's Shield.
Straight up.
Yep, just defend you.
He just deflects everything that comes.
Bounces right.
Ding.
Oh, yeah.
I'm like all you like cougars do you like cougars they'll just ask him that yeah yeah
I'm like no they'll ask you that with like a like a third year old boyfriend right with yeah right
right yeah like it was mad as fuck in the back yeah he's like arms crossed and then there
yeah swole as fuck like ready to fucking rip my head off my shoulders and I'm saying there I'm like well
first what literally like that like a uh a death poor cougar gosh a dead
They'll be like taking a photo with you.
They'll fucking grab you and like fucking put.
Oh, or like the craziest thing.
Like you're taking like a picture with like an older lady, her man like takes the photo for you.
And then she like, woke, he gets a little too close.
They think you want that stuff.
They think they think that you're going to be hyped.
But I'm like, nah.
There's definitely some pictures out there where we look a little scared.
If you ever take a photo.
That's probably why they're not ever posted.
When he's 20 years younger, what the fuck?
Chris, there's been times where.
like, there would be like this old lady
that pulls up with their man's and whatnot.
She's like, oh.
Old is. Like that, right? And they'll be
like, oh, can we get a picture with Josh? And, you know,
everyone's just watching this go down. And sometimes
they'll get too touching. He just looks at us like.
Yeah. I'm just like. And we're just like
it's because you don't want to like
you don't want to get be rude.
I don't know why, but all the weird
stuff happens to Josh. It's always
Josh. Because I was a front man of
the front man of. Not, but even when they
don't know, like,
Front Maff.
I'm telling you.
Like, dude, the volume, should we bring up the volume show incident?
Oh, my God.
Oh, no.
That was horrible.
No.
Dude.
That's an off.
It's a off.
People go out of their way to just do crazy things.
It's like, why?
Like, why would you do that?
Yep.
You got to make shirts now.
Deskort Cougars.
Yeah.
Deaths Court Cougars.
You're looking like that.
Oh, my gosh.
That would do numbers.
That would do numbers in the Josh fan base.
Dude, that would be sick.
That would be sick.
they're doing the low key the scene like the scene pose
the the the rar X deal
well it's crazy is the most craziest girls be like the cougar ladies
it's not even like the young ladies
I don't know what gives them this confidence
that confidence that you look like you got fucking a faceful
Botox and you can just do whatever you want
yeah like fuck you
I'm trying to I'm trying to think of
uh no they're usually nice but it's gross gross is there well speak well speaking of
deathcore cougars is there anything about reverent that uh I might have missed
that that you guys want out there I think we covered some I would say all glory to
God yeah we're a Christian yeah we're a Christian man yes we're straight edge
no no no no no no no no no no
Yeah, we're straight edge, bro.
We don't do drugs.
Look at the X's I got.
No.
We're far from straight age.
That's tough.
Someone's going to beat the shit out of us.
Have you guys, you guys ever heard of Eternal Suffering?
No, I have not.
Sounds a little familiar.
Eternal suffering.
I've heard of the name.
Okay.
Jay, I think we're going to have to do it.
What is this?
What?
Eternal suffering.
So this band is what made me tune down to drop G.
And we're gonna have to pull up a I wonder we could get like the full
track listing.
The first thing is what the fuck happened to this band?
You know we playing G Garza?
Yeah.
Oh yeah, of course.
You got, you guys happy.
Do what, drowning.
Drowding and tragedy.
All right, Jay, try to find the first two tracks.
Because we got to play from that intro to the track two.
and this is what's
it's what made me
tune to fucking drop
jeet
oh yeah
perfect
literally just
we're gonna buy about for
we're gonna buy about
for two straight minutes
let's do it
all right
when you're feeling angry
or sad
are like that
cover
it's pretty dope
this shit Loki
eerie
oh god
shut the fuck up
or do you have a loud
yeah can't
you guys shut the fuck up
for like two minutes
and when you're angry
A cranky ship for a
60 seconds
Is it drop key
Drop key
Nah, the drummer's going crazy
Holy shit
That's hard as fuck
Fire snare
How old is it?
That's something ass beat or ass
What's 90-99
What?
That's hard as thing
This is some shit Ethan would put on, bro
We're driving on tour
Oh, our driver, Ethan.
Oh, our tour manager.
Shout out of Ethan.
He's the fucking hardest breakdown of the fucking 90s, motherfucker.
Why he's smoking a fucking SIG and just driving for us?
Oh, yeah.
Ethan's the go, bro.
That motherfucker's crazy.
That motherfucker's crazy.
He's like, this is the best B-DEM album.
He's our tour manager, our guitar tech.
He remodeled the RV for us.
He's going to be our sound guy.
Sound guy.
He's the jack of all trades.
Can we bring up a picture of Ethan?
Is there a picture?
Is there a random picture of Ethan?
Mr. Ditt?
I don't think there is.
I don't think there's...
I mean, he could try, but I don't think he's gonna find one.
Just bring up his Instagram.
He's basically the guy that gets us from point A to point B on tour
and make sure that we actually do it.
He'd be keeping us in check too, bro.
Like, he's low-key the reason why we're still, like, sane.
That's great.
So we don't kill each other.
Shout to his Instagram's Ethan.
Oh, yeah, Ethan. Dot, D-I-T-T.
Shout out.
Ethan did.
Ethan did?
Ethan do.
He did.
T, two T's.
Right there.
Right there.
So this is the best tour manager of all time.
If you want to hire him.
Best guitar player ever.
He will carry you.
Get him.
There's not a single.
Oh, he's a photographer too, bro.
Yeah, he does everything.
Not a single pick of using film.
Hit up Ethan.
No picks it.
But don't steal him from us.
Ethan goes crazy.
Ethan goes crazy.
That was his guitar cover he has up.
That's a mean so's in cover.
Yep. He did a solid job.
Maybe his story got a picture of him.
What's that beep?
Right here, sir?
Thank you.
He also worked at a custom shop so he can build guitars.
He can build amps. He can build pedals.
He can solder anything.
Yeah, he can solder anything. He modified our guitars for us.
He tried to fix in the quad, but it was too fucked.
And he destroyed the Giants.
Yeah, he's a Rams fan.
He's a Ryan.
That's the only downside.
not to get right yeah
he's just uh he's his character
he just goate it there he is guys there he is
yeah great at guitar
stockton boys stockton he's like he's like you guys got to stockton for a week
yeah for a week come to stocking for a week guys
they got they got dollar they got dollar 50 a miller high lives over there
yeah and he quit his job to be r tn oh yeah that's fucking sick
he's goaded hell yeah all right we're uh we're we're
Ronnie and third here, we're going on two and a half hours.
Oh, my gosh. Damn.
Time flies.
We end every podcast the same.
Since there's six of you, we're only to do one album each.
So what is one record that's inspired you?
Oh, my fucking.
Let's do not deathcore or should we do deathcore.
Whatever you want.
No, not death court.
No, not death court.
One record.
Y'all bringing up the phone, that's cheating.
Oh, no.
Oh, that's cheating.
What a piece of shit, Austin.
All right, my bad.
Mario.
Hey, he did it too.
with you
fuck you, Mario.
One record
that fucking inspired you.
It's because they said
no death core.
I'm not going first.
Whatever you want.
Whatever you want.
Whatever you want.
Old new.
He pulled on his phone too.
Bro, dead ass.
He was texting his mom.
Asshole.
Oh.
He's asking his mom.
He's asking his mom
what's the best album that inspired me.
That Branky Benjamin album
with Diary of Jane, bro.
That's looking like
good-ass fucking album,
bro.
That's a good-ass fucking album.
That really got me.
into really shit too.
First time someone brought up
a...
Bophobia. That was a...
I already know my.
Never mind. I didn't need the phone for this.
Who wants to go first? Let's go down a lot.
Mario, you go. No, I'm not going first.
Okay, I'll go. Wait, did that not count?
Yeah, that's his...
I love breaking into the next.
I gotta say...
My goat better than Avenge Seventhold.
I gotta say Jeterna
by Circus Survive.
Oh.
You was on...
You was not on...
I wasn't on it for that long.
but ever since I got out about this
ever since I got put on this
changed his life
but what if it was pre
pre pre-garing and reverend
that was like our tour
reverent
pre-reverent I got to say
it's this demolisher
it's more of like an EP though
it's like windy city takeover by
the voucher
what about you made
I keep thinking of albums
I'm gonna say that I gotta
I gotta go with suicide season
bring me that was the first course
First chorus song
I ever learned on guitar
First breakdown with the zeros
Oh yeah
Oh yeah
Yeah, that's a classic as fuck
This is this is just
Bangor after bangers
I see the eagle's insane
Broly shit
Dude the art too
Fucking
Even this can't
I haven't seen anybody ever even
Fucking try and replicate this shit
Fax
Yeah's true
You can't
So weird
Dude they're mugshot
They just like beat up
That shit's so hard
Crazy bro
So good
so hard. Yeah. What about you guys?
Who's next? The boy will drown.
The boy will drown. The boy will drown.
They only have one album out.
What about you, Aidan?
Who the fuck is this? The boy will drown. They're like a
I don't even know what you could call them.
They're just...
Is this a band that's from Australia? They play with telecasters, but they play
tech, like tech death, but it's also
grindy, but it's also like...
Melodic. It's so...
to back, this album is just
amazing. Because of the pickups and
the telecasters, that's why.
The very scratchy. The one,
fetish. I have this on CD. This album
is just... Amari always plays this.
Yeah, bro, this album is...
Can we find a fucking...
A fucking clip, maybe?
They have some live shows, but the audio's so shit
because of how old it is.
Oh, man. But they go crazy.
It's like... He's just fucking...
Is this it?
Yeah.
Okay.
All right.
Nice.
All right, we got, we got a little taste.
Yeah.
Good, all right.
Josh Aden, you're up.
Favorite album?
Favorite album?
See, because I have like three that changed my life.
You got to pick one, bro.
I can't pick one, because it would have to.
I just picked one, bro.
Think about the one that made you be like, I'm going to do this.
Well, then it'd be too much self-gla-er.
It's too much glazed to Garza and suicide silence.
No death core, though.
Okay, I'm just, non-death core?
Non-death core?
Non-death core?
No, no.
No, he said whatever.
Oh, really?
Yeah.
The cleansing, if it wasn't Death Corps,
it'd be like,
uh,
Tower of Rome.
Their first shit.
Tower Rome's fucking classic.
Yeah.
They're,
this band's fucking awesome.
Edward 40 ends.
Yeah,
they all have 40.
We're calculating infinity by Dilliger.
Oh, fuck.
I should have said that one.
What about you,
80?
You go put only choose one,
dude.
Okay,
the cleansing.
Okay, there we go.
That's like when shit started spiraling.
Boom.
My brother walked in the room.
I was watching Slipknot,
like videos of them playing.
And then he was like,
you want to hear some real heavy shit?
And then he put on the video for the cleansing.
I was just watched that video
like fucking 30 times.
That's sick.
I was like 12 or 13.
The Slaves to Simpsons music video
really put me on.
That was the second video I watched.
Damn.
All right.
Last.
I don't even have a drummer.
I don't even have a favorite album.
It's going to be a Texas.
Bro doesn't like music.
Texas is a George.
What got you horned up?
What got you inspired as fuck, dude?
Like, what's the record?
Like, oh, this fucking,
inspired as fuck.
You're like Angel Maker.
Probably like,
what shit.
Probably,
I don't even know.
What's that one band?
I just thought about it right now.
It's because he knows so much music.
Like, you guys don't understand.
His mind is just fucking meat and blood.
besides music literally he wasted almost all brain power just finding what was the
fucking first band that I found not first band but like some of the first ones
here comes the cracking um what was the album called the one crackin the one
here come yeah the the self-titled that one's fire that one's heavy as fuck what the

What's the song that opens up with the fucking tap?
Our Fatal End.
That one's been a classic banger for a while.
We've had that song for like a year now.
