It is Friday, October 16th. I am Jeff Schwartz. That is Matt Ford. This is the Schwartz football show.
In vindication for Jeff Schwartz and Mitch Schwartz will happen in about two minutes. So stay tuned for that.
We're going to go through all the games as usual. Matt, we've overcome the poor start-ish, as we normally do every year.
Two, two and one. We got a good number on one of the games this week. That should have been really three one-and-one.
But it happens. What are you going to do? We'll take the two-two-and-one. I think.
I think we're now nine, I've already had, nine, 15, and one.
Oh.
So we do keep track.
It's important to keep track.
Not great, but looking to get better and started off yesterday, of course, with a loss.
Because why not?
In Thursday, a football game that, you know, I knew was going to happen the way it did.
And it ended up being a loss personally.
I took the Seahawks to cover that game.
I do feel good, Matt, that I took the side that had 200 more yards and was better on
third down and actually move the ball throughout the game, unlike the Deverebroncos, Matt,
who Bo Nix is an atrocious quarterback right now.
Like, even worse than the haters who said he wouldn't play well this season thought he
could ever be.
It's at the point where there's serious discussion about, like, whether or not he can
continue being a quarterback at this level of national football league.
yesterday the Broncos offense had 32 yards after the first half 30 jade after the first half
bow nicks yesterday was 17 of 27 for 107 yards that's just on the base level that's four
yards in a temp now there's even more data of course because we have more data on these
on on these certain you know situations here we go uh there are a hundred you mean there are
701 qualified quarterback seasons through six games the past 20 years.
2026 Bow Nicks ranks 100 to me, 701 out of 701.
So last place, is that good?
Average pass length, 4.1 air yards per attempt.
His average pass was thrown behind the line of scrimmage in the second half on Thursday.
Now, if you recall, I got on first things first this year, Matt, in August.
the question posed to me was,
will Bo Nix improve or regress in 2026?
I said regress.
Now, in my long explanation,
I fudge one thing.
I said he needs to throw the ball more often down the field
when I meant to say more accurately down the field,
like 20 plus yards.
He's not even doing that.
He's not even attempting the ball down the field anymore.
And everything else I said was right.
I was exactly right.
And I had not seen Sean Payne's tweet,
Matt, to say, I'm sorry.
I shouldn't have called you out.
You were right.
I was wrong.
But Bo Nix is not playing good football.
The Broncos have four wins this year, Matt, by one score.
Okay?
Last year, I believe they were 11 and 2 in one score games.
They're 4.0 this year, which is remarkable.
They're 15 and 2 in one score games.
It took 14 fourth quarter points against Jacksonville.
It took 30 second half points against Rams.
It took 13 fourth quarter points.
against the Chargers last week.
And whenever this was on Thursday night,
like the Broncos are living on the edge, man,
as because their quarterback sticks.
I got to say, Jeff, today, this is your day of victory laps.
Like, you did it.
It's Sean Payton's last tweet was replying to you and saying,
always easy to tell who works at it and who doesn't.
And not only was he wrong about that,
but he was wrong about his whole argument with this Poh-Nix thing.
And, like, it's pretty pretty cool to see
internet have your back here our friend nick right uh but like the whole internet in general is sort
of like doing the the bart simpson meme where they're all looking back at him in the class and going
like say it like it's everybody's waiting for sean baiton to to eat it on this one because like
he it's you were 100% right and the thing like two things stood it out to me i test wise
the last two drives where denver had the ball the in the in regulation there was the drive there was the
where they could have, they could have iced the game, but then they gave Seattle the ball back
with that third down in completion, where Bo Nix, like, he threw it, like, right to the
defensive lineman. That was just absolutely insane. Like, I've never seen that at the NFL level
from a starting quarterback who's, like, won a lot of games, who ended up winning this game.
And then the last drive that they had in regulation, I guess it was, or no, maybe it was
the first one in overtime. Either way, they went three and out.
And Seattle's defense did not look stressed at all at any point.
Like Seattle, you could just tell, like, when Bowenix ran that power out to the sideline,
they were just there.
Like when he threw the ball over the middle, like, they were just there.
They were completely calm.
And granted, they were great defense.
But they were just not afraid at all of anything that Knicks could do.
It was unbelievable.
I've never seen that really at this level.
So the last play when he ran the, when he ran the, when he ran the, the,
the sweep to the left.
He looked like he
wasn't trying to make a play.
Like there was a chance
to make a play and he
just didn't do it. He just took the
basically the loss. Look, here's the fourth quarter
drives for the Bronch, 14 to 3.
Five plays 18 yards punt.
Three plays minus 10 yards punt.
Three plays two yards punt.
Overtime.
After Sam Donald, who played terribly today
through a bad interception again,
five-yard run, three-yard
run on a scramble, zero run for Knicks, and then a 52-yard field goal to win the game.
That's a comeback win.
Good for Bo Nix.
Did you see Ryan Fitzpatrick, what he said last night on the telecast after the way?
So we don't have the audio, but I'll read it to you.
He said, quote, Bo Nix is not playing competitively.
It's almost disrespectful to the quarterback position how he's playing football.
And people then jumped on him.
He's like, well, look at Sam Donald.
Well, Sam Donald just stuck.
But he was trying to play quarterback.
quarterback. He was throwing the ball down the field. He was trying to make plays. He was trying to
terrible. Two or two bad interceptions. Like I'm not saying Donald played well, but the difference
between trying, Matt, and he didn't try. Bonox is not trying to play quarterback anymore. He's just
there. He's just there to not make mistakes. He looks like he's got the yips, you know, in baseball,
when the second basement can't throw to first base. Like, he has the yips, man. He has the yips. That's what he
has right now. But you shouldn't have it in year four, three or four, right? It's three.
Year three when you're coming off a good season. Now, it's not a perfect season, but you shouldn't
have the yips in year three. And it feels like that's what he's got. Like there are countless
videos you're going to see today, tomorrow of like dudes open and throw the ball. Like, I don't want
to blame Sean Payne. He certainly owes me an apology for what he tweeted at me. But it ain't
much champagne can do if your quarterback doesn't throw the ball down the field. It's not like they're not
calling the plays. He's just not executing the plays, Matt. So it's a problem. Now,
they're four and two, good for them. But like, how real is this four and two?
Again, I just listed off. I just listed off all the reasons why they've won these close
games. And the schedule does get much easier, which is crazy. You got the Cardinals and
chiefs and Panthers and Raiders and Steelers. The top part of the schedule is over with.
But I don't know, I don't know. They feel like a food gazing team, man. I mean,
They're being outscored by 11 points so far this season.
Yeah.
Their defense played their defense, I think honestly, was the C story of last night because
the two quarterbacks were the main stories.
But their defense, like, their scheme was really smart.
They took away JSN, even though he still had like 130 yards because that guy is good.
I can't believe how good that guy is.
But their defense just like made a lot of sense.
And a lot of those yards didn't come until like late in the game.
But at some point he's going to get his.
And Darnold just like,
Donald never looked comfortable with the blitzing, the pressure.
Like he was on his back foot the whole game.
And for both of these teams,
the lack of rushing attack is going to kill them at some point.
Like in both cases,
I mean,
I think they each need their rookie running backs back,
like Coleman and Price.
But I mean,
the fact that they can't run the ball,
it's neither of these quarterbacks are going to elevate an offense
to the point that they can,
you know,
go deep into the playoffs.
they need the other pieces around them,
which is not a knock,
like Sam Donald Super Bowl winning quarterback now,
but I just,
I felt like,
I actually took Denver last night because I was sort of like,
what is like,
what is Seattle like going to take away from Denver?
Like they're just,
they're kind of the same team.
I mean,
I felt good about my bet in the fourth quarter.
I'll tell you that.
I didn't feel great about it.
Do you have about that two pointer?
That Rashid two pointer,
I was like,
Seattle's winning.
Like that was just such a crazy catch.
Buddy.
So I have a friend who sends me props
who I work with on the radio on Sundays.
And we had Halani, the Seahawks, running back.
The third, he was thursering last night
under four and a half carries,
under like 14 and a half yards.
And he just spent the last two.
Four and a half touchdowns.
Yeah.
And then like just walked in the fourth quarter
because they were in two minute offense.
He just got to run the ball a bunch.
I was so pissed last night about losing that prop.
Oh, I was pissed about that.
But I was right in the end.
So I'm still accepting apologies.
My DMs are open.
I've yet to get an apology.
from anyone in Denver, but I'm sure I'm sure I won't.
But I'm sure it felt good for Sean Payne to send that that tweet out a couple months ago.
Again, Sean Payne, I think has two tweets this year.
No, he has two tweets all year.
It's congratulating Drew Brees, making the Hall of Fame and then trying to knock me down.
So I appreciate the support from Nick and others that have shown support for me today.
And hopefully it pays off in a little bit of positive juju, Matt, for our wagers for this week.
Let's get into starting with international game again on Sunday morning.
Yeah, man, every week.
Jacksonville.
Yeah, it's Jacksonville hosting sort of the Texans.
Two and a half points.
The Jags are favored.
Make a break game for Houston.
I don't know.
I don't know about this one.
So I look at it like this, right?
If you need a must win, you must not be very good, right?
Oh, I like that.
Right?
It's a good slogan.
And look, Jacksonville did not play well against the Eagles last weekend.
They just did not.
And they won the game.
Of course, we know how they won the game.
But I think they're a better team that Houston.
I mean, they're going to cover.
I think they're a better team of Houston.
I would be okay taking Jacksonville here if we needed a fifth one.
I think Jacksonville is a better team.
I think they're going to perform better.
Look, they played really bad last week.
A team like that shouldn't play that bad two weeks in a row, Matt.
I still don't love Houston.
I think there's too inconsistent for me.
Even last week, was it four field goals?
start the game as Tennessee.
Like, they're just not, I don't think they're, you know,
everyone keeps telling me that Stroud's playing well.
Maybe he's playing better.
And I think he is playing better.
But the team doesn't feel complete to me.
Every week there's like something that we're missing from the Texans.
So I'd be okay if you want to go Jacksonville here, as it may be.
I'm not playing the Texas though.
I'm with you.
I actually thought I was going to have to talk you into this.
But I, this was one that I felt like in a week that's got a bunch of strange games.
This might be an advantage for us.
Yeah.
First of all, like, these, we'll get to more of these divisional games later,
but sometimes these division games just kind of like line up the same way every time.
Jacksonville's four and one against the spread against Stroud.
This is also a bit of a, you know, we've talked a lot about travel this year.
Last week, the Steelers demolished the Colts because of travel, right?
They came back from London and Pittsburgh had the extra rest.
Jacksonville has been in London for the two weeks,
and Houston's coming off this must, this must,
win where they finally got on the board on the road against Tennessee.
Now they're flying over there.
When teams stay in London for two straight games,
they're undefeated against the spread in each leg.
It's a small sample size.
It's 6-0 total.
But this is the first time that Houston has gone overseas with the Mecca Ryan.
So there's like a bit of an advantage there that's maybe hard to quantify,
but with all the travel we've talked about this year,
it's worth bringing up.
And then, I mean, if you just forget the teams,
the favorites in London cover 60% of the games.
So I think, you know, for Houston, they're not going to be able to run the ball at all because of this Jacksonville front.
So, okay, it's Stroud versus Lawrence who's dealt with this pressure before that Houston brings.
So I'm comfortable with Jacksonville.
Yeah, I'm good.
Let's do it.
All right.
That was easy.
One for one here, potentially.
Bears at Falcons.
Caleb Williams, we think is going to play Michael Pennix.
we think is going to play the line there is Bears is a road favorite minus one and a half.
I took the over in this game, over 50 and a half.
Game is at home.
It's in a dome.
Hennix, when he plays, dude, they score a ton of points the Falcons do when he plays.
He's going to play, I think, rib injury is supposed to play.
I can't have one was back for the Bears who did not play well last week.
this feels like just like a track meet type game.
I don't really have a side for this one.
I'm curious if you do.
But I took the over.
Yeah, I'm not sure here what to do with either quarterback, uncertain.
There's a part of me that thinks it's worth maybe grabbing the point in
half with Atlanta today, just in case Caleb doesn't play.
But yeah, I don't know how, I don't like betting games where you don't know either of the
quarterbacks.
So I think that's a pass.
I do think, though, that Atlanta, I also think these two teams are maybe the trickiest to figure out for me this year.
Like the Bears, you know, we haven't seen them with their quarterback really since the first week.
And in the meantime, like, you know, they destroyed the Eagles.
They laid a complete egg last week against the Packers and all this fanfare.
Like, they're just a tricky team.
And Atlanta is just so inconsistent.
So, yeah, I think that's a pass.
Another divisional game here, Ravens at Brow.
Browns.
Unclear, again, who the quarterback is for Baltimore, but they are laying three and a half points to Deshaun Watson and the Browns at home.
This line has moved down.
So I guess this is possible that we think the books think currently is going to play.
Oh, this has gone down two points.
Yeah.
Interesting.
This must have happened this morning.
Let's look this up here.
Lamar check.
Really?
Wow.
So this is something that's, as we think about this.
I'm looking at here.
There was so much, remember how much sort of heat Harbaugh got for this lack of communication with Lamar on these injuries?
Like, here we go again.
You know, it's just kind of interesting that he's, you know, Mentor said he doesn't even need to practice to play on Sunday.
Well, so he did not practice Wednesday or Thursday.
That's why.
Yeah.
So I think he's, I don't think he's going to play.
But I think Mentor's quotes revealing.
I think they don't, there's some, like,
down in communication here.
I think, I think, I think, I think, I, I think you have to practice to play quarterback, dude.
I would like to hear why.
Why you have to practice to play?
Yeah, I mean, why quarterback specifically.
I mean, I think most positions do, but how many quarterbacks don't practice and play during the week?
It's like, you have to, you the game plan with your offensive line,
with your wide receivers.
with your running backs.
You have to feel it and know what it is.
And you're playing a team that has a brand new staff.
It's not like you're playing the same team you played eight times in a row.
It's not you're playing Mike Tomlin Steelers,
who you've seen the scheme seven years in a row now.
Play a brand new team with a brand new offensive defense.
And if you don't practice, how are you ready to play on Sunday?
That's one position where it feels like you've got to practice to play.
I mean, wide receiver, maybe you don't, Matt.
Just go run fast and run your routes and be done with it.
defensive line
to show up on someday
play football
and also the number
moved two points
it's a big deal
so to me
to me is to stay away
we don't know
who's playing quarterback
I would think
this is a Huntley
this is saying
that Huntley's gonna play
but Lamar
it wouldn't be
unlike Lamar
to me to be like
he's fine
also I mean
the Browns are
are Fugasey
like let's be real
and they showed it
last week
in that bad weather game
they could easily
lose by 7 to 10 to
Tyler Huntley, who's not a bad backup.
Totally.
The Browns seem to just always play better at home.
I don't have a staff for it,
but it's going to be cold, it's going to be windy.
It's, you know,
but the Browns have a ton of defensive injuries.
And to your point, like,
they've just, they are a bit of a paper tiger.
So, yeah, this is screaming, stay away.
All right.
Steelers at Bucks,
the other Jay Daniels is posting Aaron Rogers.
Aaron Rodgers, a two and a half point road favorite for Pittsburgh in Tampa.
Total for this one's 39 and a half.
I like Tampa, but I know.
I don't know if I love Tampa.
Yeah, I don't like Tampa, but I would consider Tampa, I guess.
I mean, Pittsburgh's just not very good, right?
I mean, do we agree on that?
Totally.
They're, look up their defense right now.
The problem is Tampa Bay.
Like, I don't know, man.
Tampa.
Sears' defense at 19th in EPA right now per play.
You know, not great.
You know, I don't know, man.
Tampa's losses, like, all kind of check out, sort of.
Like, they've-Tenbeys defense is fourth in EPA this year.
Not bad.
Yeah.
And these are the offenses they've played.
They've played Sincy.
They've played Dallas.
They've played Green Bay.
I mean, they played Minnesota and give up 23 and the Browns and give up 23.
But those aren't, you know, horrible outcomes.
I think their defense is good.
I mean, the way that you could see the way that they win this game is just like it's a low-scoring game.
They pressure Rogers who can't move.
You know, there's if they can't get the run game going, which Tampa's D is always good at and they get some pressure on riders, like I could see this one going Tampa's way.
but it's, you know,
Jalen Daniels in his,
what, third start, second start?
Yeah, I don't know.
I put him in the maybes.
I mean, it's a play.
Daniels looked good the other day,
right?
And the Cowboys defense stinks, though, too.
So that could be part of it as well.
Yeah,
it's just like,
it's all the money on Pittsburgh.
I'm kind of curious
where the money's at this game.
Let's take a look.
Public.
Pittsburgh is getting, yeah,
70% of the tickets.
We're going to have to play Tampa, aren't we?
Oh, boy.
Yep.
All right, let's put it in the Mabies.
Catching points at home is to Aaron Rogers in 2026, huh?
Okay.
All right.
Boy, Jets, Patriots, Patriots, laying seven to the Jets.
Oh, boy.
No.
Just we don't have, we have, we have 20 minutes.
Let's just, let's just pass.
No, no jets?
Really?
We got super lucky to cover.
that game last week.
Yeah.
There's a seven and a half out there.
Yep, there is.
Oh, geez.
I mean, I guess.
I mean, look, their defense is good.
Will Campbell's out.
This offensive line for the Patriots is a mess.
You know,
has maybe like completely turned it around and we're going to beat the Jets
by over a touchdown like maybe.
But I don't like this.
But for seven and a half,
I feel like we at least have to consider it.
All right.
Open the maybes.
God, there's some really ugly games left.
Saints at Giants.
Giants, home dogs, despite everything.
Saints are one and a half point road favorites.
The Saints kind of stink, don't they?
Dude, the Giants suck.
The Giants suck, man.
They have such a horseshoe up their ass.
It's unreal.
But the Saints, the Saints have lost three in a row.
They haven't been really close any of the games.
They're going outside to play in, you know, I imagine is not wonderful weather this weekend.
I mean, it's probably not, you know, miserable, but it's probably not great.
I mean, I, I'm not betting the Giants or Saints here, but I'm not all, definitely not
betting the Saints.
It's crazy to me that the Saints are road favorites.
And like that to me is, is the book telling you something against a super popular side that,
that keeps covering and cashing.
I guess.
It's selling you something.
Let's stay away from it.
By the way, speak, your team is, oh, your team is playing Monday.
We'll talk about your team.
I was going to say your reaction to the game last week.
We could do that with the commanders.
Yeah, we'll get there.
Panthers at Eagles,
eagles, whatever's left of the Eagles,
they're catching three and a half at home.
Do you have any thoughts on this Jalen Hertz thing?
Well, so I don't know what a superficial blood clot is.
I won't pretend to know.
I know what a blood clot is and how dangerous those are.
Superficial blood clot could, I think, be many different things,
Matt, from many different reasons, right?
It can happen.
Um, he played, so they found it Saturday, correct?
He played Sunday with it, then flew home, which obviously not great to fly with a blood clot,
but you take aspirin and you, you know, you move around a little bit.
You know, you can survive.
It's not, if it's not a, you know, superficial, you know, if it's not like deep in there.
Um, I, I just know this.
If you have an actual, like, blood clot, you're out 90 days most often.
Like when you look at the players that have had them in the past, like Tyler Moten for
the Panthers or Barrymore.
where Bearmore had one, right, for the, for the, I think for the New England Patriots.
I think you're out, like, I think you're out 90 days.
Like, like that, like, you have like that's, yeah, Barrymore had one.
You have to, you're out like 90 days, man, at least, like minimum.
So I don't think he has that type of blood clot, but something.
The thing is, it feels like separate of the Jalen Hertz part of this.
the Eagles are very close to just pack you in, buddy.
Like, there's no one healthy.
No one likes each other.
Lane Johnson's gone.
Lane Johnson's gone.
You know, like, it just feels like it's a wreck right now in Philly.
And now you know, your quarterback.
Tanner McGee's supposed to be your superstar backup doesn't even look good.
And he didn't look good in the preseason.
Like, doesn't look like the same guy we thought.
Offensal line bad.
Panthers off a buy.
The Panthers aren't on a perfect team either.
That Philly lost in a day, like, look, about a,
broke them and they can't lose a game like that.
Everyone's question Siriani.
Big Dom was showing up at like a democratic society, like luncheon, which was an absolute
shocker.
But like you go political like this time of year when elections coming up, like, you know,
are we focusing on football?
Even though, of course, he's the head of security.
Who gets the fuck if he cares about football?
Got a headset, man.
It's not his job.
Who knows what the job is?
If you had told me that what political rally he would show up at, that wasn't one I would
choose.
So just like I don't think about Philly, man.
I saw a tweet that was like one of those like sad to report,
Nick Cerny is going to coach this weekend.
Long way to say, I don't have a thought in this game.
I mean, Panthers are probably the side,
but you know, it was one and a half, you know, two days ago.
Yeah, I mean, this is just such a classic.
Like, how the hell did they cover or win this game?
Like you don't want to take.
Which we thought was going to, which we thought last was.
Which we thought last week was going to be.
And they almost did that last.
Well, they almost won.
They did cover.
They did cover.
And they were our sixth team.
I'm looking at our list that we were so close to taking them.
Yeah,
it passed.
This is the NFL.
Like,
they're not going to just totally lay down,
I don't think.
But total of 39,
it's just,
I assume that they just,
the books,
just like Tanner McKee is,
his cheeks.
We'll see.
They have no running backs.
All three running backs are out.
Like,
they have no one on offense.
They have no backs,
no receivers.
They have the worst second.
half offense the NFL, and that's what the Broncos playing football.
Actually, are pretty good in the second half for the most part.
All right.
Let's move it along here.
Yeah, one of the worst second half offenses of all time, actually.
Okay, Colts Titans.
Time saver?
Colts landing seven?
Yeah, we could save time.
We're not taking the Titans.
No.
Good luck to anyone betting on that game.
Best of luck.
Okay, Cardinals, Rams.
Rams length 12 and a half.
Can I interest you in a little less,
to those Rams.
Oh,
just a small taste.
This is a very odd wager for you.
So I want to hear it.
Here's,
okay.
Of all of the coaches and teams in the history of the NFL in the Super Bowl era,
no coach has a better against the spread or straight up record than Sean McVeigh does
against the Cardinals, which like, okay, friends, whatever.
This is just like the Rams need to get right.
Like, they just, they have had a really rough beginning of the season.
They're two and three.
The easy part of their schedule basically begins now.
They have the short week.
You saw how they played pissed off after they lost to the 49ers.
I just think this is one of those, like, they're up 14.
They're getting Devante Adams another touchdown.
Like, I just feel like this is a step on the gas, prove it kind of game in the division
where they can, you know, just finally relax a little bit.
And also, look, look.
the Cardinals are getting a lot of love for backdooring in week two and beating the Chargers.
They beat them in week one.
Yeah, but then they covered, I think, in week two on the backdoor or something.
No, that was three three.
So they won week one, they lost 31 70 in Seattle.
They backdoor the Niners, lost by, obviously lost by 12 the Giants, but that was a pick six late.
But that was still a six point loss of the game ended there.
And they lost the Lions by 21 last week.
And the Lions are what the Rams are going to do here.
Like the Rams, they're not going to try to, you know, they're not going to leave Gibbs in at the end of the game.
They're not going to be throwing to Pook up 20 like the Lions were.
But I just think this is a clean, like, they're so much better.
Everyone's sort of down on this Rams team.
Like, maybe I'm just a sucker here, but I just think that this is a get right spot for them.
I'm okay backing a team like the Rams trying to, you know, to like have a great, a great game of this.
And I think Cardinals are just sort of dead.
The Rams are still pissed off, dude.
They need a good game, as you said.
Yeah, the total here is 51 and a half.
Like, they're going to put up,
but the books are expecting them to put up over 30.
Like, I don't think the Cardinals are just going to get free points here.
And Jacobi said is bad, dude.
Like, he is, I don't think people are really, like,
watching how he's playing because of, like, fantasy stats or whatever.
But also, like, Marvin Harrison might not have mattered,
but their offense was completely different last week.
Like, Michael Wilson did nothing against Detroit.
Like, whatever.
are we talking about.
Yeah.
Okay.
Bill's Raiders.
Four and a half is the number I'm seeing right now for Buffalo on the road.
There's a, I mean, it depends on the side.
Like, there's five and a halfs.
Yeah.
There are.
So Buffalo stayed out west, by the way, this week.
Somehow Josh Allen avoids, like, all critical, you know, it's funny.
James Cook fumbles and then, like, you know, Joe Brady blames James Cook for fumbling.
And then you look at, like, Josh Allen, he fumbled, like, twice as much at the same time span
as James Cook has.
I think the Raiders have come way back to Earth, Matt,
and this feels like a Bill's going to smoke the Raiders in this game.
Really?
That's my read on it.
I don't think it's a right play, though.
But, I mean, the Raiders have come way back down.
Like, they started fast.
They beat the Dolphins Chargers and Saints,
maybe three of the seven worst teams, the NFL.
Lost the Chiefs got smoked by the Patriots.
The Bills have not been great, right?
They beat the Rams at OT.
They lost the Patriots.
They beat the Chargers closely.
I'd see the Rams. Should have lost to the chargers. And they should have lost to the Dexler.
I know. I think that the Raiders are backsliding. I think they're kind of showing like some of the issues they have. I don't love the Raiders. Do you like the Raiders this week?
Yeah, I do. Okay. Buffalo is averaging 280 yards against in passing Detroit's 297. Their second worst. I think, yeah, I mean, I think you're right. Like the Raiders are clearly like not, you know, they're not winning the Super Bowl. But I just. I just.
think that they're better than they're better than people think and i think buffalo is you know they're coming
off this huge emotional win where again they have not played the kind of schedule that you know they haven't
they haven't gotten these wins in ways that make a lot of sense to me to me they're they're rolling a
little bit uh overhyped here and this is just like the kind of game that they lose i think like they've
They've got the emotional win.
They come to Vegas.
It's indoors.
It's turf.
Their defense just gets mashed by Brock Bowers.
I'm looking for a Brock Bowers prop in this one because they cannot stop anything over the middle.
And I just think this is just going to be a bit of a shootout.
And I don't hate my chances of the Raiders catching almost a touchdown.
There's going to be a billion bills fans of this game.
Yeah.
But like, I just don't think it matters.
Like I think I think Vegas can score.
They can't stop.
Their defense isn't great,
but they can still get pressure.
Like,
I just think that this,
you know,
this is not like a runaway spot for Buffalo.
I'm,
look,
I think,
I think this is a spot we played many times before.
I'm okay,
play.
I got to understand the spot.
I understand the situation.
But I,
I can see the bills blowing them out.
But I'm okay.
We don't have any like yeses yet.
So I just pass this one along.
Pass it along.
I liked one of the next.
two games, I think.
Buffalo's, or Brock Bowers,
it's over under draft games, it's 80 yards.
Every year.
All right, let's go back to our games here.
Yeah, I think that one can,
has a shot of making it through.
All right, Chargers at Chiefs.
Chiefs slaying seven and a half.
So, is this actually at eight and a half anywhere?
I played a Chiefs Cowboys teaser this week.
I like that.
Yeah. Chiefs down to one and a half or two and a half, depending on where you got a matter two.
And Cowboys up to seven and a half, eight, depending on what the number is there.
Right.
For you.
I think Chiefs are going to win.
But I don't know, the Chargers play this game hard every year.
It doesn't matter what the records are.
The problem is the Chargers are fucking awful, bro.
Yeah.
Like their office is so bad.
It's so bad.
I do around the chief's wide receiver options,
but they're off a buy.
We don't need any of it's great off a buy.
They're healthy.
They're playing good football.
The Chargers offense is an absolute wreck, dude.
It's so bad right now.
And Herbert's getting pounded.
He, he, man, I watch the Chargers,
and Herbert still makes them really good throws.
It's insane, bro.
But just as a whole, it's just not working.
I have no playing the game of it.
I put the Chiefs and the Cowboys in Tees.
That's what I did.
I mean, this is not a use your brain spot.
It's a follow the logic spot and follow the trends.
Like when we're talking about teams that are winless after week five on the road,
in the last five years, they're 10 and two against the spread.
This is just one of those spots.
It's a divisional game where the Chargers are desperate and the Chiefs can win by seven
and not cover.
Yeah.
But the try to be desperate for weeks now, though.
That's the only problem.
Yeah, but I mean, it's still, it's, it's, it's just the trends.
Like, that would be the only reason you take it here.
I mean, they can't, they have, they have no passing game.
They have no offensive line, you know, it's just, skip it, right?
It would just be a skip.
Yeah, you're not going to, you're not going to bet against the chiefs here and enjoy your Sunday.
Yeah.
All right.
Two games left, Sunday night football, Dallas, excuse me, at Green Bay.
Green Bay is a point and a half favorite.
Why?
Why?
Correct. I'm happy to take Dallas here.
No idea why, because they beat the Bears without Caleb Williams,
and half those yards were, like, in a blowout
when no one gave a shit anymore in the Bears.
Like, what are we doing here?
The Packers still can't block anybody.
Correct.
That's like 30 yards.
It's the Bears.
I get the Cowboys' loss on Thursday was unacceptable.
I get it.
But they made a fix on defense.
They hired Mike Pennant,
who I think is important to add here on defense.
Like a veteran coach knows what he's doing.
And they're going to help out Christian Parker a little bit.
But more than anything,
