They're getting seven and a half.
No.
I think we'd have to.
Matt.
My guards go up when it's like, this team is dead.
I think this is one of those games, Matt,
where you just don't think about it.
Yeah, but instead you can just sit in that comfortable chair
facing the bed and watch from the comfort of your room.
This one's super comfortable.
I come to this hotel for three years in a row now.
That chair right there is a spot to be.
Hello, welcome to Josh Swarth to Smarview.
Okay, Fort Worthamore.
You presented by Drafis.
Drafking's the crown is yours.
It is Thursday, October,
Ninth.
I'm Jeff Schwartz.
That is Matt Ford.
The date thing always screws me up, Matt.
It does say 8ND.
So, you know, it does.
You had a lot of ways that could go wrong.
It did say, it did say 2, by the way, until I changed it to 8, which is incorrect.
Today is actually the 9th.
So welcome the program.
As we do, every Thursday or Wednesday or Tuesday, whatever the actual day it is,
this is Thursday.
If you listen to this on Friday, thank you, Saturday, Sunday.

Helps us out a lot.
We are going to go all over the NFL games today.
We're going to pick five our favorite sides.
We're going to give you those five favorite sides.
We're going to hope that we win.
We're three and two last week, Matt, bringing our record to, I believe, 11 of 14, which according to producer,
Hank, is good.
It's not good.
It's not good.
Not good.
But we're better than last week because we had a winning week.
And at the end, I'll give you college points as well.
Those are better.
They're 19 and 16 so far this season.
Hoping to hit a stride here as they normally do the midway point of cultural ball season.
Matthew, where would you like to begin, sir?
Yeah, I mean, I guess, you know, three and two to get us to 44% and to be honest, like, it was kind of an ugly, it was an ugly three and two.
But we did get it.
We did do it.
So I think, you know, look, we haven't had a five and a week probably since, what, 2006?
Like, how long has it been?
We haven't, we haven't had one in what feels like a decade.
We're going to get it.
And it's going to be in the next couple of weeks.
This feels like one of those weeks that everyone's just going to get their asses kicked.
But hopefully we will be on the other side of that.
The reason that everyone has gotten their asses kicked, and unfortunately we are part of this,
is the public sides this year,
the ones that have seemed like layups,
have been terrible.
Teams getting 70 plus percent of the tickets this season
are 3 and 13 against the spread.
0 and 7 against the spread at home.
You know, we record this on Wednesdays at Pacific time.
This is 1 o'clock Pacific time.
So we get a lot smarter during the week as it goes,
but our first impressions are often like a little bit
more on the public side.
And then I think we come around later in the week and we're like, oh, interesting.
Maybe we should have gone with this or that.
But I will say last week, the big sharp sides were the Jets against Dallas and the Bengals against the lions.
And both of those sides got massacred.
So like, no one's really having a great season so far from what I can what I can tell.
Maybe you're seeing it differently.
Well, the thing is last year, first of all, NFL sides are like hard to beat in general.
But last year, the people that I fade, and we've talked about this many times, like there's actually a method
to doing this, they had a great year.
Like, they had a great public year, Matt.
And this year, they're having a terrible year, right?
Just, they're all doing well.
And I'm not, I don't even sure Sharps are doing well, but the public fate people are doing
terribly.
And every week you see those tweets from, you know, people that work for different sports
books.
Okay, here's the top five teams, like top five tickets.
And then the next, and then even college, by the way.
And then the next week, you, you see the result and it's all red X's.
So college NFL, these top sides have been battle all year.
And so it's not going to make our decision on where we wager, I don't think,
but just worth noting, and again, it's Wednesday, it's hard to tell where the money's.
I mean, game won, the first game of this weekend is definitely going to be a Joe's versus pros type of game.
Yes, that you're referring to the Thursday matchup, I assume?
I am, yes.
Yes.
So in that one, the Eagles are coming off of a perplexing home loss.
They're going on the road short weeks to face the giant.
the Giants are getting seven points at home.
I don't know who on earth would want to take the Giants here or the Eagles.
So I'm curious why this line is so high.
But I guess people still are buying the Eagles.
I would assume that's what the read is.
I mean, the only play here is the Giants plus seven, right?
I mean, I'm not saying we're doing it.
But think about, look, so the Eagles' offense line has not been as good this season,
nor has their offense.
And what the Giants do well?
They rest of the pass a while, right?
Matt, they have a good defensive line.
The thing is I just don't trust Jackson Dart on a short week against the Eagles defense.
Without Malik neighbors, we saw last weekend, the offense is not, is whatever good it was or could be good, Matt is gone, right?
And they can't, they can't really, in my opinion, attack the Eagles, the defense the way they should.
Seven points a lot in the NFL.
But I don't trust the Giants in the spot to be able to do that.
Jerome Tracy might be back, but still, that's not enough for me really to move for the Giants.
is worth noting.
Matt, you know,
the Titans came back in one
and that was a terrible
beat for everyone
to Cardleton Survivor like I did.
Also did.
And you can't even make it up, right?
If that running back scores,
it's 28 to 6,
and they probably win that game 35 to 6.
You know, it doesn't even become close.
And then the fumble,
the stupid fumble that got kicked into the end zone.
That was ridiculous.
It's all done.
And so the thing is, like,
take that result.
out where they shouldn't have covered.
Dude, the bad teams are getting
freaking smoked every week, Matt.
Like, they're just getting,
they're getting freaking smoked.
And I have to figure out
whether or not
that is what it is, because last year was the same
thing, do you remember, right? These bad teams are getting
smoked. Or is this
that we take the Giants plus six or seven?
Is this that we take the Jets plus seven and a half
hosting, not hosting, the games overseas,
hosting the Broncos? Like, it's going to be really
tough as we go through this process, Matt. Do we do what we've done in the past? Do we do what is
currently the way the NFL is? And I think that'll be something that we wrestle with throughout the
show today. Yeah, you're right. I think, look, we're going to pick our spots. This is, as you said,
not our favorite spot. Divisional Thursday night game, Jackson Darts first Thursday short week
start. The Eagles, by the way, have won, I think 11 straight primetime games against.
the Giants, eight and three against the spread in those.
That's since 2009.
So it'd be a tough one to step in front of the train there,
but I hear you, like, we'll get,
why don't we just go right to the Jets game?
They're getting seven and a half in London.
And it's the same story, like the Jets,
the Jets ended up becoming one of my favorite plays last week.
We ended up not, we were thinking about Dallas last week,
but I kind of came around on it.
And it was because it was like their own four,
you know, they can,
score, Dallas coming off of that tie with the long game and the disappointment, and it was
at home in Jersey for the Jets. And it's like, I don't think they have anything. Like, I don't think
they're a team that can do anything well. The only thing that they would have going for them is the
spot here where Denver comes off the emotional win, you know, against Philly. They're laying a huge
number. These, you know, these overseas games tend to go over. Like, maybe it's just going to be an
exciting, you know, Justin Field backdoor kind of game.
But I don't know if I'm, I don't know how comfortable I feel with that.
How are you feeling about it?
I'm not why join this game.
I'll be quite honest.
You know what's funny?
So I put out that I think Aaron Glead that doesn't survive the year, right?
And I knew the tweet immediately because I got the same.
You wouldn't say that been a white coach.
I'm like, no, I would.
Like I think Pete Carroll's probably not long for that job either.
Yeah, like McDaniel.
Yeah.
But like the reason why, Matt,
and this is, I think, important for fans of teams to have new coaches,
is that you want to see a gradual improvement throughout the season in your play.
You might not have wins, you might not have wins to show.
But the Jets are getting worse, and they have dumb penalties every week.
And they have poor plays.
And the Jets have a defensive roster that's good, Matt.
We all agree their talent is good on defense.
Eric, that's supposed to be a defensive coach.
The defense is terrible.
And if you have one side of the ball, that side of the ball better be good.
So think about like Ben Johnson, right, or Liam Cohen.
Like those guys come in, the offenses are better than they were last year almost immediately.
If you have a side of the ball that you control, that at least has to be good.
It's not all good, Matt, for the Jets.
So I think Aaron Glenn's way over his head and people are like, whoa, Ben, Ben, Dan Campbell,
Dan Campbell, he was, you know, he won three games his first year.
Obviously, parallels at all.
other than they both coached together.
I just don't see it at all.
So the lines at Jared Goff,
like he's not the worst quarterback of all time.
Feels is terrible.
The numbers are out there.
He goes for like 800% of his yards in the fourth quarter
when games don't matter, right?
So, yeah, I'm off the Jets here.
And it would be Jets are passed.
But I'm more curious about this next game
because the number is ballooned out so high.
We're open to, I think, at like, four,
I would have been on the Colts,
but or five,
maybe five, maybe it was five, but seven now is a lot.
Yeah, it is.
It's the Colts.
I want to come back to the Jets in a bit when we talk about the Steelers.
The Colts are laying seven to the Cardinals.
The latest I saw, I believe Kyler Murray was held out of practice today.
That was the latest.
Yeah, he did not practice today with a foot injury,
not an injury based on the snap he took to the face last week,
which took him out of the game briefly.
maybe the strangest thing I've ever seen, just for the record,
just like another thing in that Cardinals game that just happened.
But yeah, at seven right now,
the Colts obviously looking like a juggernaut put up,
you know,
of what, 40 point win last week or 30 point win.
Kyler, when he does play,
is the best quarterback since he was drafted against the spread as an underdog.
So this would be a good spot,
but we don't even know if he's going to play.
So, I mean,
I don't know how we can make a play on this one,
unless we just assume that Kyler can come back, but all ears.
Five and a half, I would have to take the Colts, Matt.
Seven's just a lot in the NFL.
And they're going to win and win this game, like 42, 20.
And we're like Jack, I mean, we've been against the Colts so many times this year
and lost every one of them.
I mean, now probably not the time they've been against them.
They're at home.
Arizona is just a completely untrustworthy team.
Like, what's just just, just no on Arizona?
I mean, do you really want Arizona to be down 14,
and Kyle Murray trying to come back.
I just don't want to see it.
Or whoever's backup is.
A question for you, the, I don't know if you talked about this with Gabe.
If you did, we can move on.
But the Jonathan Gannon, he got fined for his interaction with demarcato after that crazy
fumbled.
I'm sure you saw that video by now.
Yeah.
So, um, I, uh, I, I, I, I just got a political text, Matt.
They're just like the worst.
Like, what are we doing?
It's four years away.
Can we stop, please?
Yeah, let's relax.
So I don't mind him berating the player, but you can't put your hands on the player, right?
That's the problem.
He, like, the player very clearly was sad about what happened.
I think it's totally within his right to rip him a new asshole.
Like, Matt, think about how selfish it is, what happened.
I know people say, well, he should be sad.
Think about your job in that moment is just a, this is the, like, the ball.
Just run across the goal line, cross the goal line, and celebrate as much as you would like.
As much as you would like.
You can celebrate.
I don't get you.
You take your pants off and run out on the field naked.
I don't care what you do.
But score the touchdown, right?
That's your number one job in that spot.
And instead, he wanted to celebrate too soon.
And look, maybe he was holding the ball across the goal line.
I'm not quite sure the ball was out.
But it's a very selfish thing to do in a game that is mostly about not being selfish, right?
that's what NFL's football is about.
And so I get his anger, but you can't hit the players.
Like we can't hit the coach, you can't hit the players.
And so this is one of the only times I can remember that a team find their own coach.
Normally the NFL finds the coach.
And the question I have now turns to is he losing the locker room over this?
How's the locker we going to take this?
And if the locker takes it poorly, then they're getting their ass kicked this weekend in Indianapolis.
he apologize to the team he pauses
to the player again
Big mistake to hit
I think again
Cuss them out
All those totally fine
Matt
Give your share your emotions with him
Maybe even do it privately
After the game
I get why he was pissed
Again the game is over man
It's 28 to 6 the game is done
Instead you end up losing the game
Out of all ways to lose
And so get his anger
You can't hit the players
Yeah it was pretty surprising
And I don't know
I think it's because it's
Gannon, who people don't really know anything about.
It's this Cardinals team.
The DiMarcato thing was so vexing that I think it's just going to turn into a non-story.
But one of the strangest things, just like just the weirdest game.
I mean, we both had it in Survivor sounds like.
So we both.
So how about this?
Buddy of mine, I do radio with.
There's a survivor, Matt.
Do you know about the Grandissimo Survivor?
Maybe.
I'd go on.
So I believe a survivor entry is five grand, right, for the main survivor contest.
don't know, but interesting.
Maybe a thousand.
Maybe it's a thousand.
I think it's a thousand.
My buddy has 20 about my business, but grandissimo, Matt,
$100,000 buy-in for Survivor.
Oh my God.
Wow.
And he split it.
He has a three-way split with a couple partners in there in Arizona.
So I talked to him Sunday night.
He's out of the $100,000.
I mean, they weren't even at the point you had to sell shares or the hedge or anything.
It just cost a lot of, I think, I think there were 15 contestants.
that were knocked out of the $100,000 grandissimo
because of Arizona's loss.
Yeah, in one of the worst losses ever.
That's always how it goes.
No one ever has just to like,
yeah, I missed that one.
Like I, you know, lost by 40.
It's always some dumb thing that happens in Survivor.
Agreed.
We are among the mighty, the mighty fallen.
All right, we're through three games
and we don't even have a maybe yet.
Let's move on to your Carolina Panthers.
I'm just assigning them to you.
are three point home dogs to the Dallas Cowboys.
I think the public is going to be all over Dallas,
and I kind of want to join them on this one,
but I'm curious if,
okay,
yeah,
make the case.
I just,
I mean,
the back-to-back road games is a little concerning for Dallas, Matt.
But I just think they're just much better at Carolina.
They're just going to score 40 points on Carolina.
Carolina just won't keep up.
You know, Bryce Young last week wasn't great.
They rushed for 250 yards, is why they were in that game.
There were some pass interference penalties as well.
And also, too, I'll make this point.
This is going to be a Dallas home game.
So I obviously live in Charlotte.
I'm not there at this moment.
But Panthers fans are interesting because the first,
people that bosses and tickets in 1995, Matt, or these PSLs,
they were fans of other teams before the Panthers showed up.
So a lot of them are, it's Redskins commanders, right?
Football team fans.
It's Buffalo Bills fans, Steelers, fans, and Cowboys fans.
Those are really the four fan bases that are pretty big here.
So the older people and the 50s and 60s to have these tickets, Matt,
when the Panthers are playing the Cowboys in Charlotte,
they take off their Panthers gear, put their Cowboys jersey on.
And now, now the younger crowd, the 20, 30-year-olds who grew up with the Panthers in their life, they're Panther fans.
But they don't own the PSLs right now.
Their parents still do.
And so these games, you're going to get 25, 30,000 Cowboy fans in this play.
So it's not going to be a home game for the Panthers in the sense that we normally consider home games.
So I think Dallas minus three is the way to go.
It's, again, it's a, I mean, it's a huge, huge public play, but it just is what it is.
Yeah, so it looks like 61% of the handle is on the Panthers and only 23% of the bets.
77% of the bets are on Dallas, which has been the trap all year.
But I do think this Panthers team is getting a lot of credit for a comeback win against maybe the second worst team in the league, maybe the first.
I don't know, the dolphins last week.
And that sort of strange game against the Falcons that everyone is taking into account still.
I think, you know, the Panthers are definitely a team that will fight.
They will try to run the ball again.
I don't think they will have the same level of success.
I mean, call me crazy.
I don't see it back-to-back 200-yard games for Rico Dowdell.
And in that, you know, I just don't think that a three-point number is really going to scare me.
It's not, it's a super square public play.
So, you know, I'm not wild about it, but I think it has to advance to our majors.
We had, I believe in our preview episode,
We gave out RICO Dado over as one of our props this year.
Yeah, I think we did.
Which I'll tell you what, man.
Our futures look pretty good so far for not being great with the win-loss record for, you know, for what you'll call it, our weekly picks.
But we look like we're going to be okay with a lot of these plays here.
Yeah.
Well, we're going to make people's money back somehow.
now. An ugly game that I'm positive we're going to have a side in and I'm not going to like
the Steelers coming off of a buy laying five and a half to Dylan Gabriel and the Browns.
What side do we have? If we're taking aside, we're fading Mike Tomlin is a big favorite.
Who since 2017, least profitable coach against the spread is a favorite of four points or more.
with extended prep time.
He's even worse, 5, 8, 1 against the spread.
Crazy.
After a body's worse.
Yeah.
So I think, you know, this is one of those, like, this is just an assumption checker.
Like, you know, everyone thinks, oh, Pittsburgh now is going to run away with the division.
Like, Baltimore's dead.
And Pittsburgh, you know, Dylan Gabriel against the Mike Tomlin defense.
The Mike Tomlin defense, the Steelers weren't stopping anybody.
Like, they've had a bunch of really goofy wins coming in, you know, to this week.
So I think this could just be one of those like nine to six games.
The Browns never win this one.
But I do think fading the Steelers is a pretty big favorite might be the move.
And Gabriel was fine the other day.
Quick note, producer Hank said we actually bet on Chuba Hubbard under rush charts
because we thought Rico Dada would take some of the workload.
Now, I think Hubbard's been hurt, which obviously helps.
I don't think there wasn't a doubtle prop when we were doing on show.
Yeah, that seems right.
But I think the Browns is to play here.
You look at them defensively.
You know, they're still battling.
They're still playing hard offensively.
They're going to feel a little bit more confident, I think, with Gabriel in there.
How about the Flacco trade?
Dude, how funny is this trade?
So we'll get to the Bengals in a little bit.
But they traded for Joe Flacco, the Bengals did.
And the Browns had fifth round pick in return for a quarterback who they benched.
And the Brown spot so highly of Joe Flacco, they trade him to a division opponent
who they knew was going to start him immediately.
Yep.
Yeah. It reminds me of the Donovan McNabb trade in Washington a few years back where everyone was like, what's going on here?
But Hugh is a little bit more of a known, or I guess Flacco is more of a known quantity. We know exactly what Joe Flacko is. Surprise the Browns did it. I do think, I mean, there is a concern here that obviously that Pittsburgh could just run away with this. But these two teams always play weird, close, ugly games. The total in this game is 37 and a half. So you're,
basically saying, you know, it's what's the final score here?
Is it going to be a touchdown?
I don't know, but I do think this.
If Pittsburgh does win this game, I'm wondering if we can allocate some futures here.
If Pittsburgh wins this game, then they will be, what, two to three games ahead of Baltimore.
Meanwhile, Justin Fields and the Jets are having a total meltdown.
Aaron Rogers, who was terrible with the Jets last year, could potentially be going to the playoffs.
is Mike Tomlin plus 1800 coach of the year?
That's the draft team number as we record.
Is that a smart play?
Yes.
I think he's never won the award before.
If there's a time from to win the award,
it would be winning a division like this year.
We know and expected it, right?
Yeah.
Yeah, I think we should put 100 on it.
I think with the how bad the Jets are actually helps his case.
And every week, Justin Fields looks worse and worse.
And everybody at the beginning of the season was like, I'd rather have fields.
He's at least young.
He's at least exciting.
And, you know, Russell Wilson got benched in New York.
Like, I think Tomlin is kind of looking like the guy we all thought he was,
which is like he is going to make your team a little better.
And if they win the division with this team, then he probably does deserve it.
I agree.
All right.
100, 100 of our bank deployed.
Yeah.
So we'll put the, we put the Browns on the maybe list, probably with this slate this week, a yes.
Yeah.
Okay, interesting one here.
Another AFC North team.
Baltimore.
They're getting seven and a half.
We assume to the Rams.
We assume that Cooper Rush is probably starting,
obviously given that line.
Yeah.
Is it crazy to think that Baltimore is going to show up in this?
No.
No.
I think we have to.
I have to bet Baltimore?
I, like, are the Rams going to.
Matt,
the Rams are going to freaking smoke the rain.
Matt,
The Ravens are dead, buddy.
What more are we have to see about the Ravens?
They lost 44 to 10 to a Texans team that was tied up six points in the fourth quarter.
That's Tennessee week before.
Everyone's get right game on offense has been against the Ravens this year.
Buffalo, Detroit had their best game of the year, not best game of the year, but a good game against them.
The Chiefs were great against them.
The Texans, the Rams just lost an embarrassing game on Thursday in football.
They should have won that game.
They're going to be itching to get a winner against a bad wounded Baltimore team.
I would take the Rams in a 7.
I think this is one of those games, Matt, where you just don't think about it.
Like, what's the path for Baltimore that an injured team just decides to play better?
They can't play better.
Like that last week was the week to do it, right?
Against a Texas team that couldn't score any points.
We lost 44 to 10.
Yes, totally true.
I do think that they can.
There's one thing that they,
there's a lot of things about Baltimore
that makes sense to me.
Like your team is totally banged up.
Without Lamar, it's a totally different situation.
The defense, like, maybe they,
they've played these good teams, good offenses,
whatever. The thing that makes no sense to me at all
is how they've used Derek Henry.
In the last two games, last three games,
he has a total of 27, 35 carries
for under 100 yards.
Yeah.
With two touchdowns.
It's like, give him the freaking ball.
And I feel like,
if they want to have any chance, like they can at least extend the game. Like, give Henry the
ball. Give him one of those games where he has like a 35 carry week and at least like try to establish
an identity and at least give your defense a little bit of a break. I get that the Rams are going to
come out there and like they could get they could get hot in a hurry. I totally understand that. And
I also did not assume that we'd put this in our list. But like at some point I just, I get really,
my guards go up when it's like this team is dead they have no they're it's over it's like
Baltimore right now I think Hank is is sort of scribbling this year they're still favored to
make the playoffs their minus 140 because because after this week their schedule was like a complete
joke right we're going to have like seven winnable games in a row right so do you think and then
they have a buy next week and then they go bears dolphins Vikings browns jets bengals Steelers
twice, Bengals again, Patriots.
Like the only good team they play after that really is probably the Packers,
maybe the Vikings.
So they could,
this could just be the game where it's like,
guys,
we know what the rest of our season looks like.
Like,
let's play a little looser here.
We're eight point underdogs.
Like,
whatever.
I do think,
though,
go ahead.
I just feel like we're going to be texting each other,
but 3.30 Eastern on Sunday being like,
we should just taking the Rams.
look we don't have to take this one but it would not shock me if the Rams like bust everyone out of Survivor this week
this is just one of those games we've seen over the years whoever's left to Survivor cheese yeah exactly
exactly um all right we're passing on that one yeah next game oh geez god Chargers dolphins two teams
two teams I don't really know what to do with uh the chargers are laying four and a half
and we have picked against Miami three times
and we're three for three just for the record.
I mean, it'd be Miami or pass, but like...
So pass?
Pass.
Fair enough.
Fair enough.
Yeah, Chargers are a weird team.
They came out, flew a little close to the sun.
And I don't think they're as bad as they looked last week
or as good as they looked at the beginning of the year.
They're a playoff team that will probably win this game by probably less than four
and a half.
Yes.
Yeah, gross. All right. Patriots, Saints. Saints getting three and a half.
I mean, I think we have to take the Saints, right? Like all this, Drake May is the best quarterback of the 22 and 24 class. I just want to fade everyone who is waiting for that take, Matt, for a year and a half now because they beat Buffalo in, Buffalo loses one of those games a year.
We're like, what the fuck Buffalo? Excuse me my cussing. We have cussed multiple times in the show.
Yeah, you're really looking rip.
You're like, you're like, what the hell of Buffalo?
What was that game?
And now you're back on the road again in New Orleans.
Everyone's praising you the entire week about how good you play, how good you are,
how you turn the corner.
The Saints just got to win.
So they feel good about where they are.
They feel probably a little better, a little more confident, Matt.
I'll take New Orleans plus three and a half.
This is going to be a game where New England's going to be.
You'll see the tickets.
You're going to 80% tickets on New England.
Yeah.
At draft games, they have 82%.
of the bets.
We have, so that's where we like to go is a home dog catching three and a half.
The Saints are ugly.
Despite all of all of the money and tickets here, this line isn't budging.
And yeah, I agree.
I think the Saints too, like they, the Saints do have a decent run defense.
That's, you know, that would put the pressure on May to have another great game.
Look, there's no, there's no shame in winning this game by one or two if you're the Patriots.
Like you're coming off of a prime time win where everybody is is declaring the Patriots, you know, the next.
Our card is our card is going to be.
It's ghastly, dude.
It's so far.
They think the two yeses are Dylan Gabriel and Spencer Rattler.
I mean, man, this is this is some some journey we've chosen to go on where we know we know what we have to do.
We're going to try to win ugly.
Okay, last game in the 1 o'clock hour is Seahawks and the Jaguars.
Two surprising teams.
The Jaguars are laying a point in a half to Seattle.
Are you buying the Jaguars?
Where are you with them?
I mean, I was the first game that I watched the whole thing of.
I don't feel like we've been even involved in a Jaguars game this season, maybe since week one.
But impressive game.
Yeah, interesting.
So they lead the NFL in turnovers, right?
Matt, if I was correct.
And it just feels like that's a tough spot to be in if that's your defense.
Like they would have allowed 35 points if not for the interception that Devin Lloyd.
And that was a great interception, by the way.
That's great job.
Patrick Holmes said afterwards he was fooled.
That certainly was.
That's 35 points in Chief's offense that, you know, they're better now.
But, you know, it's like still not whole, right?
Trevor Lawrence who does so many bonehead stuff, Matt, like so many things you're like,
what are we doing, Trevor Lawrence?
If they don't force a pick six, it's a 14 point swing, right?
That game is a Chiefs win, probably, without a pick six.
You know, Seattle is what they are, Matt, and they know what they are, in my opinion.
I would ride with Seattle a little bit here.
I don't like the West East and the early could go off in the heat in Seattle.
Plus, you're also almost failing Jacksonville, Matt, off that huge emotional win.
That was a big way.
The Chiefs are not what they used to be, but that's still the Chiefs on mine and a football.
Yeah.
So I will in Seattle here plus the point in a half, and they're telling you that these neutral fields,
Seattle is slightly better.
And I'd take Seattle here.
Yeah, 13 takeaways for Jacksonville through five weeks.
Pretty remarkable.
The, yeah, I think, I think you're right.
I'm reminded of after the game on Monday night.
I don't know if you watched the post game at all.
But Travis Hunter was out there like high-fiving the first row of the stadium.
Like he just like went all around and like they were Trevor Lawrence like was celebrating.
It was like they won the division.
Like it wasn't like they won the Super Bowl, but it was a moment for sure.
And Seattle is the other story.
They had a heartbreaking home loss and now they fly across the country.
but as our former producer Nick Weiner used to point out,
I am the savant of the Seahawks sort of road challenges
because they always have to travel the most every year.
And for whatever reason, Mike McDonald's Seahawks are 9 and 1 straight up on the road,
6, 3 and 1 against the spread.
I believe they won, is it 8 straight on the road.
And they're terrible at home for whatever reason, 3.9 against the spread.
So I think these two teams are probably even.
And I don't mind taking Seattle here,
but it's obviously not like a slam dunk.
Like these two teams are good.
But if we wanted a bit of a pallet cleanser maybe after the disgusting Spencer
Rattler appetizer that we have to ingest,
this at least would be an entertaining game to watch.
It's going to be entertained to watch.
So we'll put it in the maybes here.
We'll take a break here, video viewers,
stay with us. We're staying here.
Audio viewers, audio listeners.
You can't view it on audio. Audio listeners.
Be back in a second to preview the four o'clock games.
All right, Matt, we're back.
We just skip the first four o'clock game.
I guess even a word to be said about this game.
I actually think there's only one side to play,
but we can mention that briefly if you want.
Yeah, the possible first coach fired bowl.
No, the Raiders wouldn't fire Carol yet.
But the Raiders are laying four.
four and a half to the Titans.
You have a,
you have a lean here?
Like go on.
It would be Tennessee or nothing,
but I'm not playing it.
Yeah, I,
Yikes,
pass,
we'll save everyone's time.
Congratulations.
Bengals at Packers,
Packers off the by,
laying two full touchdowns to Joe Flacco
and the Cincinnati Bengals.
I mean,
God,
would we dare?
So we'd just say, oh, we'd just say, do we say Packers on the count of three?
Absolutely not.
In no world are we laying it on the Packers, no chance.
Joe Fong was going to start this week.
He can't, she can't move.
Michael Parsons can't hit him in the side of the back and his end of his career in this game, Matt.
Yeah, no, you can't put the Packers either.
I just stay away from this game.
This is like a, it's just like a Fox game in the week, too.
It's just probably, they thought it was going to be Burrow, Jordan Love, like a great matchup at four o'clock.
And now it's obviously certainly not going to be that case.
I think that the Brady game is Niners Bucks, but I will, Hank points out the, uh, Joe Flacco has beaten the Packers already once this.
No, Niners Bucks is on CBO.
These are on all on CBS.
Uh, well.
Do you remember, you remember, so they used to, they, they now have changed the way they,
they signed these games.
It used to be obviously,
NFC was Fox,
AFC was CBS,
and then whoever the way team was got the broadcast
if it was an inner league game.
But now I'm not sure,
Brady's probably doing,
he's actually probably doing Cowboys Panthers
on Sunday at 1 o'clock.
Yeah,
there's,
I went to the Fox website
to see what their game of the week was.
And there's a week five game of the week
and a week seven game of the week.
And they both involved my Washington commanders, by the way.
There we go.
You didn't know, Flacco's already being the Packers this season.
Yeah, that's what I was saying.
It's like, I mean, I don't know.
Can we calm down with Michael Parsons?
Like, this guy isn't Lawrence Taylor.
Like, let's just rely.
Okay.
Niners at Bucks, which maybe his someone's game of the week, we'll see.
The Bucks are laying three points.
What a game.
This is going to be like a, this might end up being like a hugely important game for
a playoff seed.
Do you have a side in this?
Yeah, I
Who's quarterback?
I guess it's going to be Mac Jones again.
Yeah.
I don't know, Matt.
I think it's a perfect number for this game.
I would probably lean Tampa,
but they've won so many games this year
and the last play of the game, Matt.
Like, just what they've been.
Now, the Jets game, I mean,
they were out big in that game and blew it.
but they scored 10 points of final two minutes against Seattle
included interception, right, that they got,
that they gave them that win.
The Jets blocked that kick and went ahead,
and then they drove down a game winning a kick.
The Niners have played so much better than we thought
without their main pieces in place, right, Matt?
But is there expiration dates on all the backups?
I don't know.
But I think it's a great number for this game.
I don't think there's any edge whatsoever.
Yeah, I think you're right.
the it looks like interesting that the 49ers are getting all of the handle as 70% and only 40% of the bets so the smart money is in on Tampa uh draft king so yeah I don't know I this is a tricky one I think it's a pass and enjoy the watch but I don't know do we include Tampa and the maybes like it's not it's not inconceivable that we would take that I think um it's like it's it's not inconceivable I'll put them
the babies. Yeah.
Well, I think it's the right side.
So I'm going to put in the babies.
Yeah. Tampa also like this will be, it'll be hot.
It's, it's, uh, yeah, the cross country flight.
Oh, Shanahan's been good as a dog that I guess we have to at least rule that one out, I think.
Um, all right. We're getting up to, we're getting to some fun games here.
The final three games are all really fun. Uh, the Sunday night game is the Lions at the
chiefs. Chiefs laying two and a half. Everybody's, everybody's,
back in on the Chiefs, I guess.
There's two money
of football games again this week.
Yes, sir.
I would very much
like to take Detroit here, but I don't have
a good feeling that you'll be in
interested in that.
I'm in on Detroit.
I think Detroit's easily the right
play here. I don't understand this line, to be honest
with you, Matt.
I think I actually wrote for Fox Sports
to take Detroit. I think I took a team total
over is what I put down, but I just don't want to take
Detroit plus the points here.
I don't get this number.
Okay, so the Chiefs offense is much better now.
We get that.
Their defense can't rest the passer.
They just can't the passer at all.
It's been a problem all season.
Jericho's playing much better.
Lines' offense align is starting to jelling now.
Now, they played schmose.
Like, let's be fair, they played nobody.
But they kicked their ass, and they've done a good job, as they should.
The Chiefs, Matt, I know we talked about whether to be that regression in one lost games.
There absolutely is.
They're 0 and 3 now in one school games after being 11-0 last season.
but to me it's how they're losing these games right they're making the mistakes they've never made in the past in these big moments penalties right in this game lack of effort on that final play from their best defense it's a player it's things like that we've not seen in previous years the interception mohomes through that pick six it's not what he's done in previous years i think this game is super high scoring though i like the lines plus two and half i don't i don't get the number i think they're better than kansas city i don't think it's close and i i was shocked by this number to the point that i
I'm wondering if I'm missing something.
Because sometimes there's a spread out there where you're like, huh,
and 80% of the bets are on the lions,
which is super concerning in every way.
But I don't think these two teams are that close.
I get it.
We could be wrong.
The chiefs might be back.
But without Rishie Rice still for one more week, at least,
I just don't think that they're going to be able to keep up firepower-wise.
Like, I do think that I also, I'm drawn back to,
and this is maybe a little bit of too narrative driven,
but remember the week one game between the Chiefs and the Lions,
I think it was in 23,
where the Lions ended up winning in Kansas City,
and it was just one of those, like, they get up for this.
Like, the Lions are one of these teams,
like, when the lights are on,
even when they're favorite, like, they show up,
and they are the best team against the spread under Dan Campbell.
They cover just a ridiculous amount of games.
They're 12 and 2 straight up to,
together in night games, they are just, I don't know, they've, they've covered 71% of their
games against the spread in this era. So I just think, I just think it's a smart play. I don't
know why everyone, like, suddenly thinks the chiefs are just back, but I wasn't expecting
to have this. Offensively, they're much better, but the other stuff to me really worries me.
Yeah, but like, again, it was the Ravens and like the Jaguars are this goofy team where, you know,
they still ended up killing themselves with that brutal interception. So, uh,
Yeah, I don't know.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry to put the lions in there,
but I do think they're a smart play.
Okay, two Monday night games.
The first one kicking off at 715 Eastern is Bills at Falcons.
Falcons are four and a half point home underdogs.
Can I interest you in the Buffalo Bills?
You certainly can't.
Let's hear you go.
No, you go.
They did not play well against the Patriots.
And they're going to be angry.
and they're going to be mad and they're going to want to prove that what we saw
on Sunday is not who they are.
We're going to play inside.
Great weather, great opportunity for Josh Allen to make a lot of plays.
I don't expect them to play the same way they played on Sunday.
I completely agree.
How about this is a stat?
Rahim Morris, he's coached 20 games as a home underdog.
What do you think is against the spread record is?
Oh, 7 and 13.
It is 4 and 16.
What?
The spread, and that is by far the worst.
So I think, and that includes, by the way, them, I think they were underdogs.
No, no, they ended up being favored against Washington.
Never mind.
But he's, he generally is just terrible at home.
He's 13 and 25 against the spread at home as I coach.
Buffalo, like, I think people now, like, what, this is.
the ultimate buy low spot on buffalo they're going into a buy they're playing inside against this
falcons team that is like pretty shaky across the board don't think that there's some great
advantage for rehem morris team off of a buy um so i i think this is like a solid play buffalo's 13 and
two straight up uh as as uh three and a half or more point favorites in primetime with josh allen
so i think i don't think they're going to have any problem meeting this moment they need a win
and they kind of need a statement.
I'm, look, I'd much rather back Josh Allen and Buffalo
than back to New Orleans Saints.
I'm in.
Yeah, fair enough, dude.
How about the last game?
The reenactment of the Hill Maryland, Washington commanders,
laying four and a half to the Bears, bears coming off of a buy also.
Jeff, could I interest you in a little commanders here?
Sure, let's hear it.
Yeah, okay, well, you're giving me, you're letting me make my cases here.
What are the Bears going to do like super well against Washington?
Like their defense has been terrible.
Washington, the best rushing attack in the league, I think they're going to just like be able to do whatever they want on offense.
And if this turns into a shootout, like, do we love the idea of Caleb Williams on the road with a defense that is able to get pressure?
I don't know.
I think Washington is, I think this.
is a little bit of a bears like buying a little high like they had that weird game against
Dallas and then who did they beat last the last week they played there's something terrible yeah no no
that was Washington oh cowboys yeah they beat they beat Dallas and then they beat the raiders in that
like really goofy game where they won by one point in show yeah yeah right yeah yeah so they gave a 52
points to lions in the second week of the year they lost to j j j mccarthy in week one like
I get it.
They're going to probably dust off some really cool Ben Johnson plays because he's probably
pissed off at Washington too for a lot of reasons.
But I just think Washington's way better.
And I don't think people have really realized what they are with Jaden Daniels just yet.
It's a great call on this game.
I don't really thought about this game in that way, Matt.
You're probably right.
Like where the bear is even better.
And they're on the road in the spot.
I think I agree with you there.
Yeah.
I mean, Daniels 4 and 2, both straight up against the spread in prime time,
Caleb 1 and 3.
They get the rest advantage.
I get it.
Watching it had to fly across country.
I get it.
Again, I don't really worry about the rest stuff, man.
I just think that's, I don't know.
I wouldn't make a wager against a team for that.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
Yeah, that's fair.
Yeah.
Okay.
I don't know.
I don't think it's a bad play.
But all right.
Let's go through our movies.
We have a lot this week.
Well, so here's what I put down.
I think we both agree is yeses first.
Yeses first.
Okay.
Well, we'll just fall down.
Okay.
I have yeses as New Orleans,
Detroit and Buffalo.
Those three yeses?
Let's lock those in.
Good Lord, New Orleans.
Okay.
It's the right side.
Okay, so I have Dallas, Cleveland, Seattle, Tampa, and Washington.
Okay, Dallas sling three at Carolina.
Cleveland's catching five and a half in Pittsburgh, Seattle plus one and a half in Jacksonville.
Tampa minus three to brought to Mack Jones and Washington.
Okay.
What are you thinking?
I feel like we need to eliminate one first.
We need to, what's the one you feel weakest about in that group?
I don't feel great about Seattle or Tampa Bay, to be honest with you.
Yeah, I don't feel great about Seattle.
Let's take Seattle out and I'm fine taking Tampa out too.
They've been flying a little close to the sun.
Okay, so Washington, Dallas, or Cleveland.
Can we, we got to play Cleveland, right?
Yeah, man.
Yeah, let's take Washington or Dallas and let's, or do we just say, hey, let's not
bet on Dylan Gabriel against Mike Tomlin. We could do that.
Do we, do we have like four just the foremost public sides of the week?
Let's take Dallas out of it because the Washington side is not public.
It's not?
No. No, I can actually confirm that for you. Washington's getting 34% of the handle and 55% of the bets.
It is a pro side.
Also, it's worth pointing out like when you're your commanders fan, when you're like on your team,
that typically means
like they're going to cover
I've learned that
when you're like super in on them
for that week
that I like
I like confident Matt on the commanders
makes me nervous
but I do think they're going to
kick the crap out of this Bears team
do you want to know
how to generate
my my friends are
Matt and how I can be
before we get to the
I'll do this first
yeah
or final five
New Orleans
plus three
and a half Detroit plus two and a half.
Baltimore minus,
Buffalo,
Buffalo minus four and a half.
Cleveland plus five and a half.
And then Washington minus five and a half.
Let's go.
So we'll get to our break quickly.
You know,
I have my Bear Betts podcast.
We have a group of like guys that,
you know, me, Will, Sammy, and there.
And today,
Will, Hill, Texas.
Hey, man.
First pitch in the game for the,
the tiger's pitcher today,
97 miles an hour plus.
Okay, Matt, at 7 to 1, you should bet on it.
So I was like, okay, sure.
He threw 96.8, so we lost the bet by two tenths of a mile hour.
He just texts right now.
Judge Walk first at bat is plus 550, plus 575,
and Vladie is plus 750.
Partling those together is 50 to 1.
I feel like I have to do that.
Godspeed, buddy.
You don't want you of baseball to really have an idea on that, do you?
No, I don't.
But if you make a 50 to one bet,
you're going to have to do your college picks from the cuck chair.
Like, I'm sorry, you're, it's right there.
You need to have some sort of.
Part of it is that Aaron Judge had a massive home run last night.
Yeah.
And Vladdy has three home runs, maybe four home runs to three games.
Like they're both hitting really well.
Maybe, you know, both pitchers trying to throw,
pitch around them. The Yankees have the have the rookie on the hill tonight. So by
way, I'm in New York now. I probably would have gone tonight. I got some podcast to do tonight
for an Oregon podcast to do. Otherwise, I might have tried to find my way of the Bronx tonight.
That would have been fun to go that game. Yeah, but instead you can just sit in that comfortable
chair facing the bed and watch from the comfort of your room. I am going to do that. There is that
chair over the shoulder right there. That's it. Look, man, we joked for a while about the
cock chairs. This one's super comfortable. I come to this hotel for three years.
in a row now. This is the spot right here
to be at Matt. That chair right there is a
spot to be. Don't
Google what we're talking about. I know you love it so
much. All right, we're going to take a break and
we'll be back in a second audio audience video.
Stick with us. Okay.
We're back. Hopefully you didn't Google
any of that.
Time for college football.
Matt, your terrapins blew the game, but cover for me.
I appreciate that. Oh, man. I'm glad you're
happy. Were you watching? Are you stuck
in? Are you in the Washington area?
I caught a little bit of it.
Our friend Nick Ray has made this joke that is a married man.
Most of us can only pick Saturdays or Sundays.
Correct.
So, you know, I'll get the updates while I was.
The collapse happened during a swim lesson for my son that I was in the pool for.
So I'm glad I missed a lot of it.
I tell you this all the time.
So Oregon, the reason I chose Sundays was I didn't more work on Sundays,
but also Oregon played a ton of night games in the Pack 12.
right but now we're in the big 10 we actually play a ton of day games now all of a sudden
so we're gonna have zero night games right now but by but by 3 30 Eastern which they play in
the end of this weekend most of the activities are done for the day like my daughter has a softball game
at 9 o'clock in the morning Alex plays five football two i'll be home by 3 30 so i've fulfilled
parental duties which i want to do anyways i want to see my kids play sports dude my kid last night
alex ain't a triple in baseball and it was like the coolest thing ever he was so excited
he'd been scuffing a little bit
hit a ball
by the shortstop
all the way to the wall
I love watching
my kids sports
I'm sure
see your kids swim
like it's gonna be
so much fun
when they can do
more things
yeah it's getting fun
when he
the swimming is mostly
him
laying on my chest
and either doing nothing
or screaming
is it's just survival swim
lessons
or just actual
some lessons for now
no I am not
I am not
bold enough for that
did you do that
was so the kid in the water
hope they survived those lessons.
That is a real thing that people do.
And I have friends who've done it.
And I'm like, are you kidding me?
But it is a thing that people do.
I think if we had a pool at that time,
we would have done it,
but we didn't have a pool.
So we just,
we were always with our kids in a pool.
Like that was the case.
Yeah.
I think we had our own pool back then.
We didn't put a pool until the kids were,
when Alex was five and he was,
was,
uh,
no,
Alex was six and he was four.
So by then then you had to swim really,
well. So, yeah, I think if we had an infant and we had, we had a pool, we would have done
the sort of what I was trying. For those who just look it up on the internet, they take the baby,
and of course they train them, but they throw the baby in the water and the baby goes under,
comes back up and flips over on their back. So they float and are able to breathe, obviously,
on their back. It's crazy to watch. It's wild. So I got a lot of pictures of me in the
same about the pool, too. It's like a parent corner here. It's just freaking cold, man.
All those kids swim lessons.
You're just cold the entire time.
Yeah.
It's a lot of singing.
That's the thing.
I've sang more in the pool than I have in, in my life.
Really?
Yeah, it's,
my kids, too.
It's,
you know,
we're doing the wheels on the bus go up and down.
Like,
that's,
that's pretty much.
I think I have,
I have to have pictures of myself in Alex,
some swim lessons when he was like,
when he was in,
I didn't even know when we started.
Tiny,
tiny little thing.
You got to do them,
man. You got in the water early,
especially if you want to be in the pool.
The other thing that I'll give my commanders a thanks or the NFL schedule makers, we have a birthday party this Sunday.
And I work Sundays. Hank and I are in touch all day for some of the shows we make.
And my wife was like, hey, like it's this kid's birthday party.
Like are we, could we make an exception and go?
And the first thing I did was not check our production schedule, but to actually see what commanders game I would be missing.
But they play Monday night.
So I get like a really nice win here where I'm dad of the year.
I'll just be answering some texts,
but I can go to a Sunday birthday party
because the manners play Monday night.
Isn't that just like a nice little W for Mr. Matt Ford over here?
So the reason I was talking about the schedule thing,
and I'm glad you mentioned this,
my wife,
is your wife,
you're not a football fan, I don't think, right?
No, yeah.
My wife is not either considering, like,
our entire life is partly because I play football.
just not a fan whatsoever. To be fair, she does work. She's assistant vice president at the hospital.
If she heard, if she heard, I didn't say this on air, she'd be pretty pissed. She did send an angry email yesterday.
Not angry per se, but like made sure to include an email, her job title to let people know like she wasn't messing around.
Yeah. Okay. So she volunteers at a senior center. Wow. And two weeks ago, not take that, volunteers the wrong word. She's on the
board the senior center and there was an opportunity this weekend there was an event like a tea i
think and about two weeks ago she goes hey i volunteered you for the tea it's on october 11th
and i was like what time she was i don't know like whatever time you can do it like well the kids
have softball out someone with baseball i mean football two or three o'clock essentially and i knew
organ was playing indiana 3 30 in the top 10 matchup yeah i didn't say anything that i just like okay
like what do you want go to the tea greet the ladies like okay and the thing with my
wife is, maybe you're saying, like, you just say yes right away.
Yeah, just say yes.
And then you pick your battle later.
And I sort of ate away at this.
I'm like, you know, hon, what's I supposed to be there at?
Like, or like 12?
12.
Is 12 okay?
Can I do 12?
Between like, eventually she's like, yeah, I guess you can do 12.
Like, you can set up chairs.
I'm like, okay, great.
I'll set up chairs from 12 to 1.
Awesome.
Yesterday I was like, okay, so I'm doing chairs.
No, I just took you off the list of volunteers.
I said, come on.
So like you have to like you have to pick away now there is an event in two weeks I can't get out of on Saturday.
It involves my kid's school.
They're like I need to be there for that.
But like you pick and you get into your battles, right?
Like I knew like if I chopped away at this ever so slowly, I get to where I wanted.
But you can't say no immediately.
You just say yes.
And then you figure it out like at different times throughout the week when I know she's like more willing to have that discussion.
I think that our producers in the room watching along, everyone's just not, it's, it's just all a negotiation.
And, you know, here we are giving away our negotiation on the air, but good news is our wives will never listen.
That's the best news of all.
That's the best.
It's the best.
It's like we're sending our military plans in a group chat over signal.
Like, here they are.
That's what we're doing right now.
Here they are.
Congrats of soybean farmers, by the way.
It looks like you're getting a bailout of your own money.
So congratulations on that.
Nonetheless, let's get to, you mentioned politics.
I thought it in there.
I did a good jab.
I could have texted you that joke,
but I said it for everyone else.
Yeah, there we go.
Michigan at USC, buddy.
They're getting a bail out of their own money.
It's kind of crazy.
Nonetheless, let's get to the college football here.
USC versus Michigan.
I got Michigan here.
I win this game out where I'll take two and out points.
Look, USC has got to prove it to me, man.
They got to prove it to me.
They can win a game against a physical opponent.
Matt just laughing is so hard on this thing right now.
They have to prove to me they can beat a physical opponent.
And they haven't.
They haven't done underlooking Riley.
And Michigan's going to try to run the football right down their throat.
And with Bryce Underwood, they can do a little more offensively.
Look, USC's getting a little healthy offensive line, which is good for them.
But again, can they run the ball consistently against Michigan?
Can they pass the ball consistently a good team on Michigan?
So I like Michigan there.
Watching host Rutgers Friday night, their back home off that miraculous win against Maryland.
They don't score a ton of points, Matt.
It's 34 and a half right now in Draft Kings.
I think they scored a ton of Rutgers defense for years been really, really good, not good anymore.
Washington will probably look forward to playing someone who's not Ohio State or playing on the road at Maryland.
And they score a ton of points against sort of these defenses like Rutgers.
And they're able to control this game.
I get 34 and a half now.
Absolutely, I love it.
I believe I gave Hank as well.
I don't even know what I gave for a war.
I keep changing what I'm doing for college football.
I like the over in UCLA, UCLA, Michigan State, both are atrocious on defense.
Michigan State, I think it's got over in every game so far they play this season.
UCLA, I believe, is near the same boat.
Northwestern was.
not that type of game.
But since the firing of DeFlechon Foss, they've had eight quarters of football.
And they've scored a touchdown pretty consistently now, the last six, right?
Penn State game in the last second half of Northwestern game.
They're starting to get better on offense.
I like the over in this game.
And I like Ohio State, by the way, Matt, against Illinois.
It's 14.
That's crazy.
I'm like 14 and a half with a road team and a conference game.
But Illinois has proven over the years when they play a team like Ohio State,
they just get their butts kicked.
they just can't compete in those games.
So those are the four I like.
I also like just additionally,
Oregon State covering at home minus two and a half against Wake Forest.
You guys just have to trust me, bro, on that one.
But that'll make my card.
Hopefully you enjoyed football with a 1% of politics thrown in there.
And I'm glad I can make you laugh that heartily.
It was good.
It was well worth that.
I mean, I'm not wrong, by the way.
So.
So you were.
It's not wrong.
Off to the puck chair for you.
Do you want, when are we going to start a political podcast?
When are we going to do it?
I don't know, man.
Maybe, uh, maybe one day.
I could, I could imagine.
Can you imagine, can you imagine doing that like, like, like, actually like, I, I,
not a million years.
A joke here and there, fine, but like waiting into politics, it makes my head hurt when I go
on social media and just try to look up like the day's stuff that happens in a day.
I could never do politics full time.
It's a bit more performative.
We have a record that proves that we are 44% against the spread.
Everybody else, they can just sort of say whatever they want, and that's what happens.
And that's one of the reasons I like sports is, you know, there's a shared reality.
Well, I hope you guys enjoyed the picks.
Also, congrats again, the soybean farmers, Matt.
