it is friday september the 13th i'm jeff schwartz that is matt for this jeff schwartz is smart on
you we are back to cover week two of the national football league we'll look back a tiny bit
the thursday night football as we head forward to our week two nfl wagers as usual thank you
for joining us please rate review and subscribe we really appreciate all the feedback if you can
share this as well a retweet share YouTube, wherever you share podcast information.
Share, please, because we can use all the support.
If you guys like the show, we really appreciate that.
All right, Matt, as we do every Friday, we're going to go through all the NFL games.
We're going to find five wagers, five sides we like.
We were two and three last weekend. And that includes a miserable Will Levis Tennessee turnover that cost us a game that since 2019,
teams have been up 17-0.
That covers 66 of 67 games or 65 of 66 games.
Not anymore.
But nonetheless, we had a good opening week.
We'll look to get to week two.
Before we do that, last night, the Dolphins get blown out.
Even before Tua got hurt, it looked like Buffalo was a far superior team.
Have you changed at all your AFC East thoughts based off of last night?
Certainly on the Dolphins.
I mean, Buffalo, I kind of didn't know why people stopped believing in them.
I was not a big believer in the Jets.
So I feel like Buffalo is just, you know, I sort of had them in pen as the AFC East winner.
That looks good.
As for Miami, I mean, you know, it's had them in pen as the afc east winner yeah that looks good uh it's for miami i
mean you know it's officially a concussion there's a lot of talk at this point friday morning about
what's going to happen next like mcdaniel sort of wisely buying to a time a lot of thoughts a lot of
people sort of jumped in really quickly with the like hey is it just time for this guy um and i
found that to be really just jarring in the moment where you're just sort of
like oh my goodness like that's that's where this conversation is going um i'm curious what you think
about what he should do yeah so i haven't said anything uh on social media especially not on
social media but i've seen um some players former players bart scott being one of them today on on
get up talk about why he retired because he was seeing sort of things that weren't there and he wanted to make sure his mental health was in the right state as he retired. Other players
have talked about these situations, about why they retired. It has to do a lot with
head injuries and repetitive head injuries. We know, obviously, the effects of CTE
on players' brains, right? It's been well-studied, well-documented.
In the end, though, though matt it's the individual players
call on this right like they have to decide whether or not it's worth continuing to play
if you become a customer we know first for cern he's had four concussions the last two two years
right two years last year i none year before he had two diagnosed and one that wasn't diagnosed
right so that's a lot in a short time span, like bad ones, right?
Where you get in the fencing pose and it just looks worse.
And there's no, the level degree of concussion,
you can have a back concussion not get hit terribly hard.
You can have a not as back concussion get hit super hard.
Every brain is different, right?
But we've seen the visceral reaction of him on the field
that makes it look far worse than it is or can't be
i'm not i'm not i don't know what degree it is i will say this though matt um i i wonder if the
nfl steps in and says at some point like hey man you just can't play anymore you're like you just
can't play um the nfl has done a much better job of preparing uh the players for what could happen in the NFL with head injuries.
They've done a good job of education.
They've done a better job of awareness.
And when you have four very public concussions like this, Matt, at what point does the NFL
say, look, buddy, you just can't play anymore?
You know, the Dolphins will owe him a bulk of his contract if he's met if he's not medically cleared to come back to play at some point he probably will be they'll be like yeah
man like you're you're medically fine now it's now up to you to figure out what to do um i i would
um like as a fan of the sport i think i feel more comfortable if he didn't play again
matt but that's not it's not our our call. It's not our decision.
And even Michael McDaniel said today, like, that's not, it's his choice.
We're not going to harp on this. We're not going to, you know, because look,
he said, I think I have it right here. He said,
he said the timelines give anxiety. There's no timeline for this. Right.
And it's scary, man. Like people, I saw the one, the one pushback,
I'll give on some comments made was the guardian cap.
Why is he not wearing the guardian cap?
The research shows those don't really change much, especially with someone who is as concussion prone as he has been.
A lot of it, sometimes, not a lot of it, I'll say sometimes, it's the neck strength, right?
Jaw strength.
It's not just the contact to the head.
He didn't get hit terribly
hard in the head last night that was the angle it was that angle he was hit at with the kind of the
neck and like you kind of saw afterwards too i think he kind of felt like that little bit of a
of a pinch in the neck so i just it's scary um if you are a fan of tua if you're his friends and
family i'd imagine i know my mom if i had gotten one concussion like that she would have told me to retire so I would imagine that there are discussions not now not today but at some point later this season
about whether or not he should continue playing yeah I feel so bad for him he seems all accounts
say he's such like a nice person great family it's a really sad situation the fact that the
more Hamlin was on the other side of it, it's like this really cruel irony. Like that's just this weird part of it to pivot to the football part for a
second,
as we extend our sympathies to his family.
I'm kind of curious what they do from here.
Like the dolphins roster is a really tricky one because they've all this
money wrapped up in Hill and Waddle and shove and Ramsey.
Like they're a top heavy roster that theoretically should be challenging,
you know,
for the super bowl in the next year or so.
I mean, that's why you pay Tua.
So I had a thought last night, Jeff.
I wonder, like I was thinking about their moves and, you know, the takey people are going to be like Tom Brady out of retirement.
He stinks of broadcasting anyway.
I don't think that's realistic.
But I do.
I feel like the only call that they can really make is probably to Pittsburgh and try to get either Russell or fields and say, like, which one of these guys don't you want?
We can at least, you know, if you threw Russell Wilson in there with McDaniel, like you at least feel like you can go nine and eight or something.
Right. Like you feel like you can maybe make a little bit of a push.
Skyler Thompson ain't it? I'm curious if they don't make a move like that, then they must think, too, is going to come back.
But I kind of feel like they have to do something or else this is a lost
season.
I think you actually make two calls.
I think,
I think they're not going to be traded,
but you call new England for Jacoby Brissett and you say,
Hey,
can,
can we have Jacoby or you,
and you call Cleveland for Jamis.
But I think I'd rather have fields or Winston or,
or I would rather have fields. And then I'd rather have fields or once or uh or i would rather have fields and then
then i'd rather have the ability to run with fields and just create like a mucking up offense
just a cheat code yeah a bunch of just zone reads and and basically you become a college offense
right you just sort of yeah and also to the dolphins by the way they left tackle last night
to run armstead did not come back in the game. The left guard got hurt. Like they've offensive line problems now.
So I will bet their wind total under when it gets posted at some point in
the next couple of days,
it's not up now.
I just,
I,
it just,
that's just what it is.
It's look,
when you use your quarterback,
not many teams are going to win.
Yeah.
So tough deal.
All right,
let's get to what might be a tougher deal to talk about these games this week.
Because the first game, I think, Matt, is a game that you're going to try your best, I feel like, to have me take the Carolina Panthers.
But I can't do it.
Oh, no. God, no.
I think we need to apologize to our listeners, our tens of millions of listeners.
For last week, we were in on the panthers and giants i'm sure
somebody out there tailed us and they were both those games were both done by 115 like jeff jeff
didn't even have the chance to send the text of like why are we so done they were over like we
just knew that we were absolutely cooked on those i just i can't bet on the price young's first
interception uh give it away for you First play of the game was big.
It was just like, oh, maybe Dave Canales didn't fix everything.
Maybe he's not Vince Lombardi.
No, no.
This is a pass and the Chargers, you know, great.
Good.
Good job.
You're going to beat the Raiders and the Panthers and be to know and
everyone's going to love you.
Great.
Congratulations.
All right.
How about this game?
Jeff, the Saints at the Cowboys. The Cowboys are laying six. It's going up to love you. Great. Congratulations. All right. How about this game, Jeff? The Saints at the Cowboys.
The Cowboys are laying six.
It's going up to six and a half.
May I interest you in a little Dallas Cowboys?
Oh, you may interest me in a big Dallas Cowboys.
Okay. Talk to me.
They beat the Saints after this big win.
47-10.
They beat the Panthers.
They're now going on the road to play Dallas.
We know Dallas.
Okay.
The good and bad.
The faults they have. One of the good things they do is they beat bad football teams and me and you are
both low on the Saints even after a win like that what I'm most concerned about in this game for New
Orleans is their offensive line against the Cowboys pass rush it's going to be a problem
and it's a big reason why I like the Cowboys here and yeah it's square man square, man. It's public. I get it. We talked
about this all the time. We moved away from thinking about these games so much as public
versus it's funny. I saw a tweet from someone that looked at last night's game, the dolphins
and the bills. And there were three separate websites that, you know, the track bet split
at three. They all had three different numbers for the game where one was the public side was
the bills. One was the dolphins. One was the bills. What was it? And so just go with our gut here.
Right.
And the Cowboys are coming back home.
They play well at home.
They play well against bad football teams.
I'm fading the saints after a performance that we did not expect.
They're not going to do that again this weekend.
And look,
the Cowboys offense,
by the way,
wasn't great.
Like there's a lot of room for improvement into week two.
So give me the Cowboys here.
Plus give me minus the six. I'm all in with you yeah i think you know the concern about jake ferguson's i think valid there's not a lot of depth behind them but
nobody really popped for dallas last week and they won you know they put up a ton of points
one easily mike mccarthy's four and oh straight up in week two with the cowboys kind of a fun
stat they're great in september uh he's 21 13 and one
against the spread in weeks one and two Dallas amazing is a favorite Dak 58 percent he's second
best since 21 is a favorite golfing first splits are good man I like it I I looked at this one and
sort of shook it off immediately and was like why let's go dallas like the saints suck we love that
i'm in on this it's one i was glad you said it because i think people like when you and i do
some other podcasts you should listen to to bear bets you know people are sort of again that the
public you know public thing like everyone's gonna have the cowboys in a money line parlay
you're having a teaser i get that by still doing it the right side where there's some other teams
here that i would avoid putting into those parlays.
The Cowboys, I wouldn't.
Yeah, they're going to be.
I mean, the teasers this week are out of control.
The next two games are teaser games.
Let's move to the next one, which is Ravens Raiders.
The Ravens are laying eight.
This was up to nine, nine and a half.
I think it's nine or maybe eight and a half in the super contest.
So it's moved towards the Raiders.
This is a team that I feel like the smart guys and sharps all love.
But this is a tough one because Baltimore could absolutely lay the smack down on this team.
It would not shock me at all.
I know that it's Lamar's not great as a big favorite, but I have no interest in this game.
I'm curious if you do.
I don't have either.
I do think that if you want to tease Baltimore through the seven and three,
that'd be the way,
the way to play this game.
That's about it.
And it wouldn't be,
it wouldn't be a bad teaser.
I don't think to put Baltimore in here,
right.
They have to win this game.
And look,
the Raiders,
we saw last week,
Matt,
that coaching matters.
We know it matters.
We know it does matter,
but do you follow surrender index?
Yeah.
Antonio Pierce had the most cowardly punt of all time last weekend.
Like he's a defensive coach who is always going to go on,
you know,
to default to like,
let's play defense and win the game.
The Ravens are the opposite,
right?
They're going to go for,
they're going to push the envelope.
I think that matters in a lot of these games and it mattered.
It was a huge difference this past weekend.
So I,
I'm in on a raven's
teaser lag in this game look man we might look up it's 34 13 in the fourth quarter and we just
we just missed it and i'm fine sort of missing it yeah i agree um and while he was making that punt
the cameras showed pierce going should i be punting here or should i be going for it or
something it was not not a great look.
Bucks Lions next game, possibly a high scoring offensive showdown.
Bucks look great last week.
Why it survived.
Lions are laying seven and a half.
The Bucks secondary is super banged up now.
I don't know this.
This is a tricky number.
I don't really have a strong lean here.
Do you? No, i don't really have a strong lean here do you um no i i don't i will tell you
the total in this game was at 48 it's a 51 and a half or 48 and a half 51 and a half um this does
feel like you're taking tampa bay here you're hoping for backdoor cover right yeah 34 20 the
drive down the field and get a late touchdown and cover this game.
Lions looked good the other night.
I mean, look, they needed, you know, it was close and went to overtime.
The Bucs do feel like a teaser leg, too.
I mean, I don't think they're losing by 13 and a half.
If this gets to eight, then I think you could put the Bucs in a teaser leg, Matt.
The Bucs are feisty, man.
I like them to win the NFC South.
I don't know why more people just sort of dismiss them.
Baker Mayfield has found a home.
People are doing this thing where they do the splits, right?
The Deshaun Watson, Baker Mayfield thing where they show the – it didn't work out for Baker Mayfield in Cleveland.
That doesn't mean that basically it would have worked out if he kept playing there.
There are two different situations.
Whatever is happening in Tampa Bay, Matt, has worked well for Baker.
It's awesome for Baker that it's worked out well in Tampa.
Mike Evans is incredible.
The offensive line, they've had some reshuffling,
but it's gotten better with a little bit of additions in the draft.
Defense we know is good, but the Lions here,
they're a juggernaut at home, dude.
They're so good at home.
So I think the Bucs at 7.5 would be the only play I'd make here.
I wouldn't hate it, by the way.'s not i'm warming up to it actually um
the hook is nice the hook is very nice so uh i'll put that i'm gonna put in the maybes by the way
i'm gonna advance that also i feel like that's that's not a bad it's not a bad wager no um in
what might be a bad wager the titans are home dogs getting four points against the jets
uh i kind of i'm a little curious about the titans here what do you think oh geez i took
will levis under 100 and something passing yards in this game he like it was like 195 or something
sane some insanely large number in this game which which, again, should not happen for Will Levis.
Are the Jets going 2-0?
Is that like, I mean...
0-2?
0-2, I mean.
Maybe.
Will Levis is not...
Here's the thing.
Will Levis is...
Yeah, it was passing yards. Yeah, it was 195 and a half. Will Levis is passing yards.
Yeah, it was 195 and a half.
Will Levis not over 195 yards in this game.
That's the problem, Matt, right?
Is like the backdoor cover part of the wagering is not going to happen in this game.
If Tennessee gets down big, like that's the end of the game.
We saw last week, 17-0 couldn't hold a lead.
Now they had a punt blocked through a pick six.
We saw last week, they were 17-0, couldn't hold a lead.
Now they had a punt blocked, threw a pick six.
The Jets offensively look like a team that is still figuring things out with a quarterback that hasn't played with this group yet.
It looked very much like that.
Defensively, I was surprised.
The Niners ran them over.
The Titans can't do that.
The Titans offensive line is struggling on week one, I thought.
So I don't really – it's typically a play we make and i think it's worth
considering matt but this is a straight hold your nose and and hope it goes well situation
yeah i mean what you do have to do i mean the jets last year were the 25th ranked run defense
and this year they i mean they put in san San Francisco they're they're around their 29th
after one week uh they can get gashed in the run game and the Bears led the league in interceptions
last year they were able to get some huge turnovers from Levis you know in the case to
make would be the Titans aren't going to be as stupid with the ball after one week they figure
out Tony Pollard looked great their offensive line like was, I don't know, they were able
to do stuff on the run, but then they just were
stupid late in the game with the first year head coach.
I feel like
the Jets might
be 0-2. They weren't really able
to run the ball well. They weren't really able to
pass the ball super well.
I'm just not that impressed with
that team.
They weren't really able to get the pass rush that they thought they were going to get.
Their coaching isn't very solid, and their decision-making didn't seem great.
They didn't have a great plan for San Francisco. It didn't feel like they adjusted.
Way better team, but two road games. Rogers isn't really
moving around super well. I feel like this could be the surprise this week, quite honestly.
It's like, oh my god, the Jets are too. Like, is he going to say relax again?
But it's, it's not pretty.
So I would, I would happily pass this,
but I do feel like it deserves consideration.
It definitely deserves.
So we'll put it into the maybe pile here.
Maybe it's got two, maybe so far we had the Cowboys minus six is in.
So we got Tampa Bay as a maybe, and we got Tennessee's and maybe.
Cool.
All right.
Next up we have.
God, I don't know what to do with this one.
Seattle is three, three-and-a-half-point favorites in New England.
All the money is on Seattle.
I got nothing here.
All the bets are on the Patriots.
I would stay away from this one.
I still think New England's very good, even though they won last week.
It's a turnover lock.
Things can go the Bengals' way.
I would stay away.
Their offense is not explosive enough to,
to cover many games like this.
In my opinion,
I would just,
Matt,
I would stay away from this one.
I don't know.
I have no interest.
All right.
Passing on Seattle and Patriots next up Browns Jags in a game.
We're going to learn something about Jags are laying three at home.
I definitely would be interested in Jacksonsonville here um i don't know no i know it's it's um it would be jacksonville or bust for
me on this one but can we trust them matt i i think we can i honestly think we can i mean they
had a tough week last week they blew they blew a lead to the Dolphins, obviously. OK, first of all, you're going to potentially have some weather.
I think I'm going to look that back up. It changes every day. Obviously, the Browns, the Browns are just not the same team.
And this is a team that gets artificially inflated, I think, by like algorithms that talk about offensive and defensive line strength.
Like the Browns offensive line is
not the same like it doesn't seem like their defense doesn't appear to be the same either
and also like deshaun watson this guy might be daniel jones in terms of his play level like he
really might be that terrible and jacksonville was able to get pressure last week like their
their defensive line looked good like i don't really see how the Browns, without a run game really,
are going to go on the road and beat Jacksonville.
I don't see Jacksonville being an 0-2 team, personally.
I think everyone's sort of down on them.
But Miami, before this Tua thing, Miami's a good team, especially at home.
We're basically fading Deshaun Watson here.
Yeah, and we're fading this over-inflated Browns team
that everyone still loves from carrying them in this Joe Flacco run.
I just think everyone's still down on Jacksonville
and way too in on the Browns.
I'll put it as a maybe.
I'm in with the premise of this.
I'll tell you that.
It's one of the games I looked at earlier this week
that I thought we would possibly play.
I'm good with the premise of this.
The thing about it is we're going to have three games
that we know we're going to have in.
We haven't got the two of them,
so we're going to have to figure out the last we're going to have in. We haven't got the two of them. So we're going to have to figure out sort of the last two here on our list.
Yeah.
All right.
Jags are maybe.
The Niners are at the Vikings.
Wow.
This line in the contest is six.
It's down to five for the Niners laying five in Minnesota.
I have a big win
on the road, get the Vikings off
I just, the thing with the Vikings Matt
is I think we need to take
a pause
after playing the terrible Giants
and think the
Niners are just a better team than the Giants Matt
everyone's praising Sam Donald
as like the next coming of whatever
quarterback they think he was going to be i i feel like i need a couple more weeks before i take a dog like this
after playing a terrible giants team if they don't be the giants what's this number nine
eight nine right i agree um i i'm i don't know why this moved. Like we think that Sam Darnold's beating the Niners.
Like this is going to be a close game.
Like it's a,
it's a square play,
but I've just feel like the Niners are,
it were basically the reason you don't lay this number is like,
well,
they're the Niner,
like the Superbowl hangover thing is real.
This isn't the same Niners team,
but they are jets, but they're the same team. Like it's either, you're basically saying this is not the same Niners team but they are the Jets but they're the same
team like it's either you're basically saying this is not the same Niners as last year and I'm like
I don't know they looked pretty good to me like yeah I feel like this is a fine spot um and and
by the way I want to go back to Tennessee for a second who's who we liked against the Jets
potentially so like two years ago no team 49ers, whenever they played a team,
their opponent from the week before lost the next week.
Do you remember that? That they went winless.
And then last, last year it was similar.
And I couldn't find it quickly.
I think they were like two and 13 or 14 or something this year.
Let's test that again.
Like that's another reason to fade the jets next week.
But in this spot, I think the Niners, I think the Niners are going to just absolutely blow this team out.
We thought Minnesota was going to be one of the worst teams in the league,
and we like them because they beat the Giants.
Who cares?
Yeah, I'm not putting the Niners, though, here.
I would consider it at minus five.
We're also with the numbers moving in the wrong direction, theoretically,
but enjoy that, Sharps. Enjoy laying the five and a half with darnold so we can pass it but i i don't know i put in the maybes it's a very like weird bet for me to
push for i never push for those kinds of bets but like i don't know i'm i'm fine with it um
well you're gonna talk me into you're gonna talk me into this one go ahead Anthony Richardson
is a road favorite in Green Bay
Malik Willis can't play
well so here's the thing
it's two and a half now by the way
so
Malik Willis is terrible
the Packers are going to play quarterback but
Anthony Richardson has so much
variance Matt of good and bad and when you look at the
other options we have that we've written down as maybes the colts are not one of the five we can
play this week right like there's just there's just no way no chance thank god like like you
can take like like again like we just talked about niners like you take brock party on the road with
the niners minus five or richardson minus two and a half on the road.
Niners, please.
Right?
So, yeah.
I think the Colts are going to win this game,
but I can't wager on them as a road dog in this situation.
There's no chance.
If they were at home minus three, sign me up.
On the road, i'll pass hard pass
thank god i was so i was so upset i was gonna have to watch that game thank god i don't have to uh
you also don't have to watch this game the giants and my coven dantes uh dantes are one and a half
point favorites there is no edge in this game can we just save time yeah because i yeah we don't
have much time left so let's just say we'll skip this one time saver rams at cardinals cardinals now laying a point point and a half
i would be on the rams here i have a feeling you might be a little suspect but no i'm all in the
rams this is great awesome this is a sharpie one um are the rams going on too i don't think so no
i don't think so and the cardinals play no defense like they're terrible i know the rams have
offensive line issues and pukunuku is out.
But Sean McVay owns the Cardinals for a reason.
Because he's just better coached every time they play them.
And Colin Murray is a ton of fun, don't get me wrong.
But the Rams' defense is fine.
They played well against the Lions.
They got worn out at the end,
have a bunch of rookies playing their first game,
especially up front.
The Cardinals started fast against Buffalo.
They're up 17-3. And they need a late touchdown to even cover that game matt like so i i like the rams here give me the point i'm
all in don't think it's me done i love the rams this was one of my favorites great teaser game
plus eight that'd be a nice number for the rams um we're eight and a half now uh okay bangles
chiefs ever Ever heard of this
rivalry? Has this one ever come up for you? The
Chiefs, you can get them at five and a half, and I'm
kind of intrigued by the
Chiefs at five and a half. What do you think? Okay, so
Mahomes doesn't cover these games when he's
a three-point favorite or more, Matt.
They just, by the way, put Hollywood
Brown on injured reserve, so he won't be back for a while,
which he wasn't back anytime soon, but has to
have surgery.
Yeah, look, the Chiefs with
extra rest with Andy Reid are fantastic.
They get 10 days off. The Bengals do not look
good offensively in Week 1. There's some questions about
Joe Burrow's health with his wrist.
But these games are close,
Matt. They're field goal games. It doesn't matter
how either team is playing at the moment.
These games seem to be close.
I would not lay it with the Chiefs here.
I would certainly look at taking the Bengals or passing in this game.
Yeah, I'm not betting the Chiefs here.
Are you?
Yes, I am.
So it's a pass for us.
I think Joe Burrow's never won in week two.
Kind of a funny stat.
This team just seems like they're in disarray.
He's won only once in week one.
Yeah.
I just don't think that this is the spot for them to like find their form
after this weird off season,
especially with all the receivers banged up chiefs with extra time.
Like you're right.
This is not the spot where you take the chiefs.
It's a silly bet,
but in my picks pool,
like I'm picking the chief site and I'm not super scared of the number.
I think people are,
are a little bit too respectful of the Bengals who have not played good football in quite a while so that's that's a pass for us uh all right the
last three i think we have one more to discuss here the steelers road favorites at bonix i don't
have a sharpie in my hand but are we sure we're gonna do this like oh yes we are nicks against tj watt we like
we like our chances denver plus two i have this at three and a half by the way i'll take two and a
half i know it's not great gambling advice yes matt this is a find the three anywhere damn all
right i don't know i'll look if you can find a three oh no we could take i mean we could it's
our pockets you already want we can take a three, a three minus one 20.
I think, yeah, let's do something like that.
I mean, we have, we have a code.
We, you know, we're not, we're not going to get sneaky with any of this,
but anyway, it's three minus one 24.
Okay, great.
Done.
Minus one 24.
Sick.
Um, I, yeah.
So this is horrifying, but obviously like we love Mike Tomlin I feel like we bet on every
Steelers game we bet with or against them but we bet every game and the Steelers incredible as as
dogs insane as home dogs horrible off of a win as road favorites it's like 30 percent of the time
Mike Tomlin covers these ones so you gotta you to, you got to play Denver, but like, holy shit, man,
we're trusting Bo Nix against the best defense maybe in the league.
It's very scary.
Yeah.
It's not great, but the thing about it is that you,
then you're trusting just the Steelers had had six field goals, Matt,
six field goals the other day, six of them.
Like their offense is not good.
They're on the road.
Now we know Denver's defense is going to be fine this season.
Did they ever played a tough game in
Seattle. First game with a
rookie quarterback on the road in a tough
place to play and covered that game.
This game would be ugly, man. It'd be 13-12.
It'd be an ugly-ass
game. Give me the points here
with the Broncos.
Matt, we always bet against the Steelers in this spot.
There's a perfect bet against the Steelers spot.
I'm in. Done. all right the sunny night game we're we're short on time so if you're
willing to pass on both the night games i'll just say i'll just say that my uh initial thought is
teasing the texans and the eagles if you're gonna take the eagles and texans just tease them back to
a pick them yeah those are nice those are nice numbers to do that with the eagles i the cousins
being not
being able to move thing is a problem it's it's he can't he cannot move right now there's a ton
of talk this week about it if you cannot move on the road in philly you're going to get demolished
um and then chicago looked offensively they weren't good last weekend texans are legitimate
like you know afc contenders i think it's a tough game first road game for caleb williams
uh signing football i think it's gonna be tough for him i do i agree uh's a tough game first road game for caleb williams uh signing football i
think it's gonna be tough for him i do i agree uh not a great spot uh yeah i think the t's numbers
are great all right so we have what seven okay yeah eight maybe is to hit here we can probably
so okay so dallas los angeles and denver are in okay Dallas, LA, and Denver. Okay, three. So we have Tampa Bay, Tennessee, Jacksonville, San Francisco, Indianapolis.
Indy's out.
Indy's out and San Francisco's out.
Okay.
So I would take Tennessee plus the four.
You have to, right?
I hate it. I think you have to. Tennessee plus the four. You have to, right? I hate it. I think you have to.
Tennessee plus four.
I like Jacksonville.
I don't know.
Tampa Bay is a little test.
That secondary is a concern. They could really bomb.
Jacksonville is missing their two corners,
though. FYI. It doesn't matter.
Yes. What are you scared of?
Getting burned by Watson?
This is a nice five it's a nice mix of of dogs favorites home away i feel like we have a very diversified portfolio here jeff i like it we we uh we did good work here so for
those who missed it i know we're in a rush today sorry guys dallas minus six rams plus one denver
plus three a little bit of juice there tennessee four Jacksonville minus three or two and three last week.
Hoping to get back on the winning track this week.
