How much did you guys spend on World Cup tickets? Maybe $50,000. Most likely. I'm here at the World Cup finals, the most expensive soccer match in history, with tickets going anywhere from $7,300 bucks a pop to over $36,000. So I'm here today to ask people how much they spent on tickets and if they could actually afford it. We're going to find out how many of these super fans are super broke. Let's get into it. Where did you get your tickets from? The FIFA website. Okay. Is it like the mafia? Like, can they just charge what they want over there? So expensive, but it's okay. It's expensive, but it's okay.

How much worth each ticket? $12,000 per ticket, and there's two of you plus dad. All right, how old are you guys? 19. 19. 19 and 22. Okay, 19 and 22. I'm assuming that you couldn't pay $12,000 in cash on your own.

Our father. Our father, who are right there. So he paid cash for this? How did he pay for it? Credit card. Okay. Is it paid off, Dad, or is it still being paid? Thumbs up. One paid. So it's already paid off. What does dad do for a living? He has a company in Argentina.

He runs his own company. What kind of company? Farm? Farm? Yeah. Farm services in Argentina is his business. And he does very well to afford $36,000 bucks in tickets alone. Yeah, I think so. Do you know what the whole trip is costing? 80,000. 80,000 total.

Yes, we saw Egypt. Oh, not your first game. Switzerland and we saw England. Egypt, Switzerland, England, and now Spain. So you've been traveling all over the U.S.? Yes. For how many, like, days, weeks now? 14 days.

Okay, so two weeks, all these games, 80 grand all in is what you know. Yes. That's what dad told you. And you think he's paying cash, or at least paying off the credit card at the end of the month. They're both. Some things in cash and others in great car. Enjoy the game. Go Argentina.

Okay, we're down to 7. That's pretty reasonable considering what they're going for now. Yeah, we bought it yesterday, so it's good. Oh wow, so this was a last-minute adventure for you guys. Impulsive, let's just take a flight. So what is this trip overall costing you guys? All in tickets, lodging, travel. Are we talking over 10 grand? on top of the tickets. My wife knows versus what we actually spend. Oh, that's why you're being cagey. You're like, my wife might see this.

Like I paid like almost $4,000, but I didn't know who was going to, who was going to play. You're just a gamble. You're happy with the results. 100%. I can really resell it for like seven grand if I really wanted to. Yeah, that's the, the cheapest ticket right now is going for $7,500. But for my whole family, so. Wow. So $4,000 a ticket for the whole family. How many? No, no, no, no, like, poor, poor. Yeah, how many people?

We are, like, we are about, like, six. Like six? Wow, so you're talking 25 grand and tickets alone. I spent a year ago, like, you know, like 20 grand, yeah. Wow, how did you pay for that? I pay, like, I put it on my credit card, baby. Okay, is it still being paid off on the credit card? Yeah, yeah, you know.

And it's been a year? It's been a year, yes, yes, yes, yeah. What's the, what's the interest on that? What's like, like, uh, like 21%? 20-something percent, interest. So, 10,000. Technically, I pay more, yeah. Yeah, 20% something interest on 25 grand.

I don't know. That'll do. Yeah, like 30 grand or something like that. Yeah. Was it worth it? Absolutely. I mean, waiting for like 10 years or, you know. Wow.

Okay, what do you do for a living? Construction. Yeah. Okay. And how about you, sir? How much do you pay for your ticket? I pay 4K. $4,000 for your ticket as well.

And are you solo? No, I don't tell it. Okay. Is this your only game or did you go to multiple? I go also to Brazil versus versus in Norway. Wow. Yeah.

All in, how much have you spent on World Cup this year? Like, I mean, like 7K. 7K all in. Okay, what do you do for a living? I do construction too. Construction as well. How did you pay for it? Was it on a credit card?

Yeah, a credit card. Like one year ago, I paid, so that's why. Okay, so you swipe it for seven grand. Have you paid it off yet, or is it still being paid? I still been paid, but just a little bit right now. You're not super concerned about it? No, no. Do you got any other debts you're trying to pay off?

I don't think so. That's it. How about you? Any other debt? Oh, yeah, I have my mortgage. I have my car payment and everything. He's like, I got it all, man. You know what I mean?

Yeah. But it was worth it for you guys? 100%. I like, I like, I like, I liked soccer. So, you know, I knew that when it was announced it, like, it was going to happen in the U.S., you know what? I just going to whatever takes, you know what I mean? For your family, is it worth it for them?

Are they just here because of you? Yeah, yeah. I mean, like, I have my two oldest songs, you know, but my little one, you know, he doesn't know what's going, all, right? He's having a good time. He's wandering around going, all right. I can tell that was kind of like, you know, but I couldn't live it with my baby city. You know what I mean?

He's going to have a picture with us. You're like, all right, we're going to spend four grand on him too. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, I hope it's a great game. Hope Argentina wins. Enjoy. We hope that. We have to.

And boy, they tried. How much did you guys spend on World Cup tickets? Maybe 50K. $50,000. Most likely. For how many tickets is that? For about like 20 tickets. 20 tickets for 50 grand?

Yeah. Okay. So 50 all in. Do you feel like the cost is worth it? Do you think $50,000 is worth it? I think the experience is worth it, but for the money, not all of it. I'd say it's definitely worth it. You know, this is a once in a four years thing.

Where else, like, it's going to be maybe 30 years before the World Cup comes back to the U.S., you know? You think they're not coming back anytime soon? They're like, we're done with the U.S. Yeah, probably, you know. Or they're going to give other countries a chance after this. So I'd say it's not often that. that we get to come out here, explore our country, and just enjoy the game. Nice.

You know. How long would it take you to save up to pay cash for something like this? For something like this? A couple of years. Like, like maybe a decade. All right. Yeah. So at 26, you'll do the same for your dad.
