Affirmations are a really effective way to change the self-talk in your own mind.
Starting point is 00:01:52 That little voice inside your head. Simply by repeating, or even just hearing positive words, your mind will slowly begin to change its outlook. And through that, tomorrow can always become a bit brighter than today. I just want to say that I admire you for choosing to listen to these affirmations. Gratitude is such a powerful feeling. Not only does it improve your own outlook and help you sleep, but it also makes the world a better place. And so, as your humble guide, I'd like to extend that gratitude and a very special special thank you to you for being here and joining me tonight. Now before we get started with our affirmations, let's take a brief moment to wind down, to put the day behind us and to relax the body and mind. comfortable position in your bed or wherever you are resting.
Starting point is 00:03:52 Scan your body from head to toe and ensure that each and every part of you is at ease. Make any adjustments you need big or small so that you're fully settled and able to fall asleep when the time comes. The state of the mind follows the state of the body. That means if we want to relax the mind, the best way to start is by relaxing the body. So take a deep breath in and as you exhale, consciously allow your body Again, inhale deep into your belly. And exhale, melting all the way up, and then exhale, releasing and giving all of your weight to the surface beneath you. We all fall asleep in our own way and on our own time. So simply rest here and follow the sound of my voice for as long as you need. You can let go and drift off at any time. For now, I'll begin I am grateful for all the good things in my life. I am loved for every moment that I am alive. I value the experiences my health and wellbeing.
Starting point is 00:07:32 I see challenges and obstacles as of the world around me. I choose to see the good in myself and others. I am grateful in the world. I am thankful for their joy and happiness in my life. I put gratitude and appreciation into the world, and they come back to me. I find good things everywhere I look. I appreciate the opportunity to rest and recharge. I am grateful for the healing power of sleep. I am thankful for the warmth and comfort of my bed. I am worthy of love and kindness. I choose to see the good in everything. I am thankful for the gift of a new day. I value the people in my life. I appreciate the feeling of calm I am creating. I welcome all situations with an open, accepting mind. I am grateful for the comfortable and safe place I sleep in. I appreciate this time to relax.
