Me and the team really appreciate your support.
You sit behind the wheel of the car cruising along at a comfortable speed.
You're in no rush and yet you can't wait to reach your destination.
At the end of this drive is a glorious waterfall that you haven't seen before, but have
heard a lot about.
Not long ago, you left behind a little town, a simple, quiet place.
The people there spoke so much about the beauty out here, beyond the edge of town, that
you just had to see it for yourself.
Dusk has fallen already. The ambient light is the kind of peaceful grey that comes before
the dark blanket of night covers everything. You remember hearing from people about a special full moon tonight? They said
it was rare and that on such a night amazing and magical things could happen at the water Cundering our pymages in your mind of what you might encounter, you drive along, enjoying
the easy ride.
A local radio station provides a mellow background hum as the car coasts along the open road. You find yourself humming along when you recognize a tune. The road ahead is
mostly empty as few people head out this way regularly. To either side, a wild bushes and brambles that sway as the car passes.
The plants grow in the haphazard way they often do on unpopulated roads like this one.
Their branches stick out at odd angles, like they're competing with each other to reach across your path.
The headlights of the car make intricate patterns as the road dips and falls, illuminating
a long stretch ahead.
You feel like you could stay this course forever, even though there are such lovely sights awaiting
you at the end of your journey.
Driving is an incredibly therapeutic action, you think to yourself.
The constant state of motion and being in control of how fast or slow you go can take your
mind off any troubles or nagging thoughts.
The car advances smoothly along the road, the turning of the wheels, providing a steady,
rhythmic motion. Under your palms, the steering wheel feels
just right, and you on the gentle home of the
car engine, the quiet music coming from the radio and your own relaxed breathing. The vista is changing gradually now. The road is widening and the space ahead seems
to have more rocks than bushes and brambles.
Stacked on top of each other, the rocks create uneven jagged borders on either side of the road.
Up ahead, a large parking area comes into view. It's completely empty at this time of
night. The lack of people means that you'll be able to have the sights all to yourself, which
is relaxing in its own way.
You pull into a spot off to the side, ready to go out and explore the landscape.
A moment you open the door, a loud rushing sound greets you from somewhere far away.
Instantly, you know it's the sound of the waterfall, but its volume is still surprising.
You guess it might be nearby, but it's out of sight.
The parking lot is located far above the water, and you'll need to walk down to the riverbank
to see it.
There seems to be a path off to one side, leading in the right direction.
Maybe that's where you need to go, you think.
