Me and the team really appreciate your support. Heavy grey clouds hung from an infinite sky. Below them, the hills and forests were veiled in a milky fog. King Helius walked through his beloved garden, lost in thought. No matter the season, it was beautiful to him. But nature here was mostly a sleep.
Starting point is 00:01:13 The trees scarcely moved their leafy branches. When the birds sang, they twittered only They Twitted Only Lollabies Covered by a thin layer of snow, the sweet scented roses never bloomed. Here, in this kingdom, it was always grey and always cold. The sun rarely peaked above the horizon and because it was so dark and uninviting, night often seemed to bleed in today. The hours passing without definition or notice. For that reason, the kingdom often slept. What was there to look forward to with each passing day? This is what King Helius pondered as his footsteps padded along a winding stone path. He stopped to rest for a while beside a marble fountain. In a pleading better, he thought. But the garden remained still, quiet and cold.
Starting point is 00:02:57 The fresh smell of rain permeated the air. And as his breath grew longer and softer, the old king gently closed his eyes. He imagined that his body was as light as a feather, allowing him to fly towards the ashy sky. There, using his bare hands, he cleared out the rain clouds one by one. Slowly the grave parted. When none of the clouds were left, he pictured himself floating freely in a sea of blue. Right in the center of this endless sky was a bright and shining sun, like a golden flower opening its petals. The most precious flower of all, Helius whispered in all. Up close, the sun was even more beautiful.
Starting point is 00:04:16 Its energy was magnetic. Its brightness more alluring than all the treasures he had ever seen. Wampth travelled through his body as the rays touched his skin. Unlike the damp clouds that hid the sky above, the fiery sun made him smile, and his heart sing. Filled with excitement, the kings stretched out his arms toward it. The lightest touch would make him happy, he leased thought. As he extended his fingers, a gust of wind ruffled his clothes.
Starting point is 00:05:09 The touch of cold air brought him back to reality. Helius realized that he had been dreaming. In front of him, there was no sun with shining rays. The blue sky was still hidden behind big, billowing clouds. The king sighed. He sat alone in his royal garden amid snow-dusted rose beds and other sleepy plants. In the weeks and months that followed, Helius often thought about this vision, about the sun and his dream of a never-ending day. Our days are too dark, our night is too long, and our sleep too
Starting point is 00:06:15 deep, the king would whisper to himself. And so, when the pale moon moved into the starlit sky, he wished that night and darkness would be no more.
