Starting point is 00:00:00 Are you ready? Let's just, let's just both do a bit at the same time to start. Okay. Great. All right. All right. I saw the other day a cyber truck, we went to this event and it's like Monday night. And it's like the highest in here was it's like those Mexican prayers. He ever done that? Remember? It talks out loud at once? Impossible, you speech jam God. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:29 Hey, I like yours though. Okay. Yeah, yours is good though. Why in the world, like it just felt like illegal to have a handicapped sticker on a Cybertruck. It's like one or the other, buddy. Because it doesn't strike me as something that's easy to get in and out of.
Starting point is 00:00:45 Correct. Can you, this is a legit question. Can you, no, no, no, I know the answer to this, nevermind. I was going to say, can you get like a sticker for like a non-physical handicap? But you shouldn't be allowed to park closer just because you have a mental handicap. You're going to walk like the rest of us, buddy. Yeah. These days, brother, you never know what they're getting on there.
Starting point is 00:01:03 But yeah, I'm like, it just, it just looked off. It's you know, it's just like, it's kind of like when you see like, you days, brother, you never know what they're getting on there. But yeah, I'm like, it just looked off. It's, you know, it's just like, it's kind of like when you see like a car pulling a, like a U-Haul. It's like a U-Haul trailer, you know? It's like, that doesn't seem like the, that's not what it's meant for. Yes. Like this thing is supposed to be for like the cool, like, like techie young people. Like the 42 year old going through a midlife crisis is like, I'm getting a cybertruck. Like, oh! Yeah, it just doesn't sit well visually right away.
Starting point is 00:01:31 It's like, this is oxymoronic. Like if I got on a plane and I looked to the left and I look in the cockpit and the pilot is like, he has a service dog. Like, what are you so nervous about? Yeah, right. What are you freaking out about? Yeah, it's that kind of service. He's like, no, it's not like that, I'm blind.
Starting point is 00:01:48 It's like, well, crap. Uh-oh, ooh-ah-ooh, I think this tight-beat means that it's going down with some random thoughts in white. Me too, Midwest best friends needing fast food on repeat. So come along, let's have some fun and go ahead, get on your feet, cause's a ghost from Spokane Alright we're back here for another Wednesday episode. Yes, we are. Let's talk about what you were gonna talk about Monday night we hung out together. We hung hung out It was funny our friend Bo I don't know super well but he texted a group of us about a week or so ago and was like hey, there's this like event it's trivia and pickleball and
Starting point is 00:02:35 I was like sure I'll do it I didn't look into I didn't click the link and I was like sounds fun But then I see this is from 6 to 10 p.m. It did say six to 10. That's pretty lengthy. Yep. And you didn't even say- My wife gets home from work around five, so. Yeah, you even said like,
Starting point is 00:02:52 is this really gonna be four hours? Yeah, I must be reading that wrong. It starts in Pacific time and ends in Eastern time. It's like an hour long event. They were kind of funny about it. But no, I said, you know what I said, I'm in if Sam's in, which is our friend Sam Hinteger. I like hanging out with him. And he's like, all right, you know, I said, I'm in if Sam's in, which is our friend, Sam Hinniger. I like hanging out with him.
Starting point is 00:03:07 And he's like, all right, let's do it. And then all of a sudden it starts to become a pretty fun crew. Bo's coming, Peter's coming, Brad's like, I could maybe come for the second half. The guy is going to be fun. Day of, Peter's throwing up, which he always is, but you know, he's sick or whatever.
Starting point is 00:03:20 So I'm scramming to find other people. Our friend, Glide is able to join last minute. So Glide gets there at the event and I'm scrambling to find other people. And our friend, Glide, is able to join last minute. So Glide gets there at the event, and I'm talking to Glide, and I'm like, you're actually, you're taking the place of Peter. He was supposed to be here. And I was like, but he's like really sick today. He's throwing up.
Starting point is 00:03:35 He goes, oh, I just got a phone with him. Yeah, Peter's real turn. Yeah, he's like, oh, it's a weirdo's laughing. They're like, Peter, hey, what's checking out the house? How you doing? Never been better. Yeah. I'm feeling great.
Starting point is 00:03:47 What are you up to? Yeah, so it's an escrow right now, but it should close here in the next couple of days. Dude, we should hang out like tonight. Dude, I've been saying that. Tonight's, we're a little bit busy right now. You know, May is just a busy season of life when you have kids, but let's hang out soon.
Starting point is 00:04:00 Absolutely, dude. Because I feel so good. Yeah, all right, man. All right, have it, yeah. We'll talk to you soon. Absolutely dude. Cause I feel so good. Yeah. All right, man. All right. Yeah. We'll talk to you later. All right. Oh, just, just hold that in.
Starting point is 00:04:12 So yeah, glad came and it was a, it was a funny, it was a funny little event because it's a, it's at chicken and pickle and it's like this man's ministry putting it on, you know, catering kind of. Yeah. I need to hear more about this. There's a, there's a couple of tables pushed together and it's like, we got chips dip and then like ribs. And I, and I think it's ribs. I never actually got to see that because they were out when I got there. Okay, no problem. You find a seat, whatever. Oh, they're bringing out more food. They would bring out four ribs at a time. So whoever was closest to the table just got all the ribs.
Starting point is 00:04:47 When you say four ribs, do you mean like four racks of ribs probably? Like between four and six actual ribs. So, I mean, it would go like that. Like these things. Yeah, yeah. Why? It was like two servings of ribs.
Starting point is 00:04:58 How? Like what's the top price? That's all they could muster. I don't know, but they were slaughtering as quick as they could. You know? These things take time.'t know, but they were slaughtering as quick as they could, you know? Things take time. So yeah, if you were like-
Starting point is 00:05:07 Maybe one person who's like moderately to not that hungry portion of ribs every time they came out. Yeah, if this wasn't a men's ministry, this would have been one person's meal. You know, it's like, I'll let this guy have a couple bones. All right, this is gonna serve too. So yeah, if you're the third person in line,
Starting point is 00:05:22 you are not getting any food. Yeah. And so I'm like, I asked the guy, I'm like, is it only ribs? I'm just like, kind of go order. And he's like, no, no, we're bringing out chicken wings too. So I'm like, okay, great. Now I'm being held hostage by these future chicken wings. Chicken wing, actually, just one at a time.
Starting point is 00:05:36 It's one chicken, we'll see how much we can get out of them. Yeah, it's one wing chicken. That's why we were able to catch it and slaughter it pretty easily. How's your prayer life? Because we're gonna need something from above to feed all these people. And so that was just kind of funny part.
Starting point is 00:05:48 So it's like, all right, we're not going to get to eat for a while. Let's go get some water. We go over to the bar. We have no cups right now. All right, hey, no worries. Whenever you guys get the cups or whatever, about five minutes go by, I go, Sam, cups are back.
Starting point is 00:06:02 We go to the cups, out of water right now. So it was kind of a funny start to the event. They had nothing that we could provide. I'll tell you what they did have though, they had tables and chairs. And so this is before you got there, the four of us are sitting around a table, we're ready for trivia, baby, let's do it.
Starting point is 00:06:18 We're sitting front and center. And the main guy in charge, which you should talk about, this is the guy who you know so well. He was like, you guys sitting here? And we're like, yeah. And he's like, oh, you can't collaborate on this table? No, no, let me find you a bigger table. And I was like, oh no, we're good here.
Starting point is 00:06:38 I was like, are there more? Cause I really didn't know how this whole event worked or what's going on. I go, are there more people on our team other than just us four? Like, oh, maybe I just don't. Maybe you need a bigger table to collaborate with the other people that you don't know yet.
Starting point is 00:06:50 And he's like, no, no, it's just you four, but I'll find you a table. And then he finds one in the corner that's the exact same size of where we were sitting at. It's like, what was that about? Why can't, it's so collaborative here. It's insane. This is nuts.
Starting point is 00:07:03 We're passing around info. We shared nachos easily. Like the one chip that we had, we split that thing up six ways. I don't know if it was just to collaborate on the food or if it was on the trivia answers. So what was genuinely, it was the same table. I heard you guys kind of tell the story
Starting point is 00:07:21 and I'm still kind of confused. I'm guessing maybe we were just like in the way sitting there close. Yeah, but he chalked it up to collaboration No, you can't collaborate here, man. You're not gonna trust me. You're gonna have with your trivia and you're at back it's a classic like For it's not a good excuse, but it's an excuse is like classic men's ministry Like I don't know. We don't worry about the details that much Like it'll be fine like you know foods food like Like guys are easy. Like they'll be fine. Yeah. We've got food and drinks.
Starting point is 00:07:49 Yeah. They can just, they don't need cups. They just, you know, waterfall that thing. Yeah. Like a gerbil. Yeah. They have a cool thing. Just put it, yeah, put it underneath. Yeah. Like a gerbil. Get them a hamster wheel to wear them out too. Yeah. So this guy, I've heard about this ministry, it's called the Forge in Kansas City. It's awesome ministry, doing cool things for men. And I had heard about it and then I looked into it and I was like, that, I know this guy from like 10 years, like before, before we had kids, he had one little baby and I saw this boy, like he was 10 years old now. But his wife and Katherine were in a BSF, like Bible
Starting point is 00:08:25 study group together. They hit it off. And so we hung out with them one time at their house and like had a great time. I had dinner and play games and like they were awesome. They were like, maybe like some of the first people that I can remember around my age that had a kid, honestly, like kind of interesting. They collaborated early. Yeah. You guys are, you guys are like really getting to the table. And so, but that was, yeah, that's kind of interesting. They collaborated early. Yeah. You guys are, you guys are like really getting to the table. Um, and so, but that was, yeah, that was kind of interesting. But like, I liked them a lot, but we just like, didn't really hang out with them again. It's so funny. Like this was great. I'll see you at 10 years from now. Isn't that kind of, I mean, sometimes, especially back then when like our lives were so like just filled with
Starting point is 00:08:59 ministry stuff, it was just like, we just have so much going on. Our relational stuff is just all either kids or like adults in the ministry, basically. And nights and weekends too. Yes. Yeah. Just, yeah, that was so much of it. So, uh, but then Catherine reminded me later and I forgot about this until she reminded me that we actually babysat their son for like, I don't think overnight, maybe overnight. I don't know. We like babysat this kid and I totally forgot about it until she's like, yeah, we babysat them one time. I was like, yeah, we did. Yeah. You bet we did. Um, so yeah, kind of just a wild thing. And then he credit to him. He remembered who I was. Did he? That's awesome. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:34 He didn't remember me right away, but I think when he heard my name, he was like, I know that name. Yeah. Um, I like him a lot. I was like, I told Catherine later, I was like, we need to hang out with them. Get back in the circle. Yeah. So, um So anyway, but I will say all that to say he's a great guy. I had plenty of critiques about the way he was running this thing. That's what I want to get to. Brad shows up right before trivia. Yeah. And I'm really glad he came. It was really fun. Yes. And I'll be honest, dude, I was kind of trying to get out of it the whole time. Like not truly get out of it, but like, and once I got there and things were starting
Starting point is 00:10:06 to not go well, it was like a fire festival where I texted you. I was like, dude, don't. Yes, you did. Like, I don't know. Could you feel that from me on the group text? Maybe not. But like, I was just like, like Bo had a, Bo had baseball practice and then it was like, it was just like a busy night and I was like, I'm just not going to be aware of my family.
Starting point is 00:10:23 But then I told Catherine about all this and like, uh, our friend, Bo really like, he needs a fourth person, whatever, all these different things. It didn't make a big deal. Like, Hey, I'm going to be gone for people. Like we need to find someone to play pickleball. He called me multiple times, like throughout the week about it. I'm like, I don't know. Maybe man, I don't, but I couldn't get there till like, I tried to like embellish a little bit, like 737, 45. I think I got there like seven, but like in my head, I was like, just something to where it's like, okay. And then I was like, have you asked Jake?
Starting point is 00:10:49 Jake knows a million people that would be willing to play pickleball. Wasn't finding anybody, so I was like, I mentioned to Catherine, she's like, you should go. That sounds awesome. I was like, all right, if I have your blessing to put down all the kids by yourself and I can do this. And I knew how the pickleball was gonna be,
Starting point is 00:11:03 and I was like, we do not need to find a fourth person. I can do this. No one knew how the pickleball was gonna be, and I was like, we do not need to find a fourth person. I can do this. No one there is gonna be able to like. Yes. But he was like, we gotta find a fourth. Big Daddy came to the rescue. So here I was pulling in, hadn't even started trivia, an hour in, I was there at seven.
Starting point is 00:11:18 And then it sounds like you guys were just mingling. I wanna talk about- You were thought starters. I was like, what are the thought starters? You mentioned that. They made some announcement, like 10 minutes in, like, looks like you guys to talk about our thought starters. I was a, what are the thought stars? You mentioned that they made some announcement like 10 minutes and like, looks like you guys don't need the thought starters. Oh, a lot of conversation and they are on the table. If you need them, did you look at any of them? No. Okay. Yeah. Talk to my friends. You had,
Starting point is 00:11:36 no, I was raised to have conversations. Yeah. Anyway, but, but you and I, I think really bond like cut from the same cloth as far as the program side of us. There's, there's not only one way to do it, but there are certain ways to just best practices to speak to a large group of people to run an event for a large group of people. And of course, of course, I, at least me, I think you are too. We're very forgiving of people not understanding some of those things. They don't do this all the time.
Starting point is 00:12:04 Like, like, man, timeman, you probably feel this too. Like the people that talk so far away from the microphone. It's just like, you don't know any better, but man, that's just seems so easy and obvious to me to put it close. Like it's on your belly button right now. I'm sure it goes for anything. People who know a lot about cars
Starting point is 00:12:23 probably look at the way I treat cars and go, this little six year old sapling knows nothing. You know, it's like, once you have just a little bit of expertise in anything, you'll never see that area the same. And for us, it's mainly public speaking and programming. Yes. So we, well, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:12:41 I don't want to like go too quickly into this thing, but like basically we did trivia and I think it was an hour of trivia. I don't want to like go too quickly into this thing, but like basically we did trivia and I think it was an hour of trivia. I'm not trying to embellish. I think there were 10 questions. You think that's true? I mean, right. I bet we got to 10 and then it was like, hey, it's tied.
Starting point is 00:12:57 Let's rattle off a few more, which we talked about that. Man, we were good in the tiebreaker. Yeah. We weren't in the tiebreaker though. Yeah, I know. That killed me. So, so. Dude, even just like the setup of like,
Starting point is 00:13:10 text, your name, it's gotta pop up on the screen. Oh yeah, they had technical issues. It's not working. They were gonna like mirror something that could show our answers or like whatever. I, you know, you feel for that kind of stuff. Yeah, it's like, this is probably. It's a foreign venue.
Starting point is 00:13:23 Like you're not here all the time. All right, it's not working. Everyone send your text and your team name again, but it can only be one name. Izzie McDonald's calling me. Should I answer? Holy crap. Yeah. Talk fever release. My brother. I'm recording the ghost podcast right now. I actually knew that. I didn't even think when I was calling that you'd be recording that. Whoops. What's up, Ghosty? What's up, Ghosty? Hey!
Starting point is 00:13:52 Ghosty! Hi, hi, hi! You ready for that Friday fever to drop, baby? Oh, am I ready, dude? I think I'm sick right now. I got a fever. That's right, baby. Oh, what are you doing right now? Remember old Jim's welding? Jim's custom welding? Yeah. Going to see my boy Jim. Dude, let's, oh my gosh. What'd you say?
Starting point is 00:14:08 I said you been there in a minute? No, but it is a, I mean, if I ever had like a, like a foreign exchange student come to America, it's like, what, what is Kansas City like? I'd be like, come to this welding shop. I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I mean, if I ever had like a, like a foreign exchange student come to America, it's like, what, what is Kansas City like? I'd be like, come to this welding shop with me and we could see. Let me take you to Jim's place. Jim's is great, man. Just a bunch of metal and this guy that
Starting point is 00:14:37 has like overall, I mean, they're just, just two just working boys. Is he still driving that Ford Raptor though? Slinging that. Okay. Another vote for Trump. It's awesome. He's yeah and he's got he definitely chews tobacco. I don't know if I've ever seen him but it just looks like the kind of guy that's like he's got a dip in. I'll be looking for a dip stick can later on. Oh dude that's so funny. You just calling to say hi or do you need something? I was gonna talk to you about the old golf trip coming up in the plan for that, but I'll be back with you. Yeah, let's talk later. I'm going to be done recording in like an hour if you want to get together, but if not,
Starting point is 00:15:33 don't worry about it. I'll be hitting up Lifetime after Jim's Place for a second if you want to. Okay. I'll try to remember to call you. If I forget, it's because I forgot. All right. Love you, dude. See you.
Starting point is 00:15:46 Bye-bye. Jim's place. This is like where you outdoor as welding to, like for chairs. Jim's welding. Yeah. For like table bases sometimes, or like if I need like a custom something or other, it's great, dude. They're, they're, I mean, they're just like, just like the, the metal that they get always
Starting point is 00:16:03 has some, some coating on it. And so they just have black hands. I mean, it's just like, but just these two guys, I don't, I, I think it's because it's so foreign to me kind of like anything else where it's just like, you can do that with metal. Like you can, he's like, yeah, you know, whatever. I saw a video the other day of they, uh, they put some wood in like a sauna, so steaming wood and then bending it like crazy. That's nuts.
Starting point is 00:16:26 That's how they make chairs and stuff. Yeah, I guess you have to bend everything. It's really cool. Yeah, you can like mold it back together in the right curve and stuff. Yeah, that's cool. It came on your algorithm. I don't know how I saw that.
Starting point is 00:16:37 Fun. Cool. Anyway, so we're talking men's night. Yeah, 10 questions. So the first question, he's like, after having all these difficulties, we get first question, he's like, after having all these difficulties, we get a question and he's like, all right, and I'm going to set the timer for a minute and 30 seconds. And I just was- For how many questions?
Starting point is 00:16:53 Yes. I was like, oh, one. And he was like, and eventually he's like, okay, it seems like everyone's answering pretty quick, so we're going to put it down to a minute. But then at the end of a minute, he would still be like, all right, five, four, three, two, one, zero. Time's up. Oh, it's just like, we all got it.
Starting point is 00:17:20 Like we're all in. When you have five people to a team, you either know it in 10 seconds or don't know it in 10 seconds. I think that's so true. Like every once in a while it's like, eh, it's a number. So maybe you could try to figure out an educated guess for that. If you don't know it. When they first asked, they're like,
Starting point is 00:17:33 this is the name of Tom Hanks character in Saving Private Ryan. I was like, oh my gosh. And then two seconds go by, I guess I don't know it. I don't know it. I'm not going to pull that one out. All right, go ahead and go to the next one. I don't know it.
Starting point is 00:17:43 Yeah, I'm not going to think of it. Yeah. Yeah, so I went to a trivia night, I don't know,. I'm not going to pull that one out. All right, go ahead and go into the next one. I don't know it. Yeah, I'm not going to think of it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So I went to a trivia night. I don't know a while back now, but like it was like they did rounds. It was like 10 rounds and they did five questions each round and it felt like those five questions took three minutes max and it was just like, and everyone wrote their answer on a piece of paper and then they brought it up to the front and then they could quickly tally correct or incorrect and then just answer. I'd be like, all right, this team had this many, whatever. We were team Baggins. That's kind of a funny inside joke there. Yeah. He was like, all right, come up with whatever team name you want while you're thinking
Starting point is 00:18:16 of one. Just want to say a little proud of myself. Back in the day, I had a cornhole league and our team name was Throw those baggins. Pretty good. Honestly, pretty good. Pretty punny. Yeah. And so he's like, just, you know, just write your last name. Last name, whatever. And ours was team Baggins.
Starting point is 00:18:34 Let's be Baggins. And so, you know, the whole night, you'd be like, all right, Miller, Thompson got it. Baggins got it. Baggins on the board. Baggins, baby. So that was fun. But yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:46 The main thing I wanted to bring up, Brad was really perturbed by, I think the first question of the night. Yes, I can't maybe. Yeah, yeah. It was, all right, which freezes faster, hot water or cold water? Immediately Brad's like, don't like this question.
Starting point is 00:19:00 I didn't like it. Don't like this question. It's way too like. Faster, hot versus cold. What it, define define hot define cold. Exactly. I that is 50 degree water versus 55 degree water. And he goes and he's like as he's saying he's like and I'm not opposed to trick questions. Just FYI And so I'm like, okay, are you just telling us that's a trick question with your big water like they're hot
Starting point is 00:19:22 But I'm like, there's no way, there's no way 33 degree water will freeze slower than a million degree water. Yes, dude. Like whatever evaporates. There's just no way. There's no way that it's just like, but like by and large always the hottest water will always freeze before the coldest. Like maybe if it's like, no, 80 degree water, if you put in a freezer, will actually freeze quicker than 50 degree water. always freeze before the coldest. Like maybe if it's like, no, 80 degree water, if you put in a freezer will actually freeze quicker than 50 degree water. That's not the same question. Ask that exact answer.
Starting point is 00:19:52 Yeah, get specific. Oh, so the answer was hot water and some Mbappe effect or something like that. We looked it up later. And then I did vent later to Catherine about it. And she said, well, think about those videos where people go out with like a boiling pot of water in the snow and they chuck it up in the air and it freezes. And she's like, they never do that with just like regular water. And I thought
Starting point is 00:20:16 that's a good point, but I thought that was just for effect. Like look, it's hot to call. Yeah. Yeah. We, we should do that next really cold day, take water from the fridge and throw it up. Will it still freeze? Or is Zimbabwe getting in the way? I don't know. I don't know either. Anyway, I didn't like it because it was too generic.
Starting point is 00:20:36 If, like I said, if it were more focused on these exact numbers. Catherine's got me thinking, maybe we are wrong. Maybe a million degrees still freezes faster than 33. What if? What? No way. I don't know. I'm thinking about throwing the pot up
Starting point is 00:20:55 and the freezer going there. I know, like the extreme change in temperature for that thing versus like, I'm pretty used to this temperature, so I'm gonna stay here a little bit longer. I just, I still don't, I don't know. You take boiling water and put it in a freezer. It's just like, we're good.
Starting point is 00:21:10 Yeah. I thought you were mad about like the fact that it could be, cause if that's true, then I'm going to start doing that and get- With ice cubes. Yes. Cause I, yeah. I was, that was my first thought is like the boiling water in the like outside in the winter, but I didn't know like,
Starting point is 00:21:23 well, if it's like even way hotter than that, is that still, I don't know. I, it's not a good trivia question. It really, it really isn't. Yeah. Yeah. It's your way. No matter if it's right or wrong or too new. It's just a bad question. It's just tough. Yeah. They were, the crib requests were all over the place. There was some geography. There was some, uh, movie trivia, which I, I don't mind that, but then I will say the hard thing or hard time that I'm going to give is at the very end, all of a sudden, like the questions have been all over the place. And then the very end, they had three specific like in a row baseball questions, which I didn't mind because we know baseball, but like we dominated.
Starting point is 00:21:59 We're the only people to get them right. I yeah, that one. You got one that no one else got. Here's a trivia question for the ghosties. Who is the only baseball player to ever get unanimously voted into the Hall of Fame? Tough question. I knew it.
Starting point is 00:22:12 I don't know, I know why. Slumdog. Yeah, I was like, I got that one. That's, yeah, whatever. So I'm not gonna tell you the answer. You gotta look it up. Yeah. Mbappe is his name.
Starting point is 00:22:21 Hot water was the answer. Yeah, then there, yeah. I mean, the questions were terrible, but it just was like, go have a pace. Have people say like, whoa, whoa, whoa, we're not ready yet. And then you can be like, all right, we're setting the tone here. You got to be quicker. Quicker.
Starting point is 00:22:37 You either know it or you don't. Because it's way more fun if you have 30 trivia questions than if you have 10. Yeah. So it was still fine. I mean, we literally had conversations in between, you know, answering about James Bond movies. So how was China?
Starting point is 00:22:50 Oh man, food was rough, but at least I got some. You know, gave me a cold finger. I don't know. Yeah, but, and then the pickleball was kind of the same organization wise of like, it was kind of a tournament. And then all of a sudden people just left. A lot of people just kept leaving. And so they're like, Hey, we're playing you. You just find some people that want to play and just go play. Like, okay, so we're not going to win this thing. Yeah. Me and Sam went undefeated and then just kind of left. Yeah. Cause no one,
Starting point is 00:23:19 you know, other people were leaving like, sounds like you wanted to be. I don't know. Yeah. Yeah. It was just like, all alright, we're out of here Thank you for having us man There was one fun part said a whiteboard like alright this team is gonna play this team and me and same over by the whiteboard And they were like alright court for we've got perky verse Blundell I was like that's gonna be a barn. Oh I remember the last time perky Blundell got paired up and we just like we just riff for five straight minutes I should have recorded all this that's a really funny two names. Yes perky Blundell. I said they sounded like reindeer that didn't make it
Starting point is 00:23:50 Dasher and dancer and perky and Blundell. I'm dancer. I'm dancer. I'm comment on Vixen. Perky. What are you doing here? We told you buddy. Blundell get it together. You're a you're a backstage reindeer at best get back there. Yeah, tend to the yeah Tend to the sleigh. It was great. Just the whole night. Well, like I perked my blender. Holy cow. Blundered me. Blundle. That's so funny. So yeah, it was, it was fun though. I, Glide and I did have a, did you see any of our match with that other team, the older people? Well, one of the guys was an older man, but like he was the one that knew the James Bond question right away. Timon, do you know the first James Bond movie? Oh, I never talked about like the title of
Starting point is 00:24:27 it. No, doctor. No. So very close. He uses official title, but this guy was pretty good at pickleball. Like his, his partner was fine, but like this guy was like a stud at the end of he's like, I don't really play pickleball. And I'm like, yes, you do. Like you are way too good at this. If you're not, then whatever sport you're into, you are amazing at. He's like super in shape. Anyway, we went back and forth, ended up winning 16 14 and over. Dude. Oh, it was awesome. It was so fun. Glad and I feel like we had some good bonding time. That is fun, bonded together. Yeah. Yeah, pickleball was fun. I haven't played pickleball.
Starting point is 00:25:08 I can't remember. I'm sure it was with you, I'm sure, but I can't remember even when that would have been. So like- Last summer? Maybe, honestly. It was so fun though. It was like, oh yeah, this is great.
Starting point is 00:25:18 So- Really quickly, this is just very exciting. Our early access list just went live for the Friday Fever as we're recording this right now. I'm getting all these texts. Yeah. How many people are on our site? 100, 120, 204, 260, 350, 400 people on the site right now. 200 active carts right now. Wow. 670 on the site right now. 300. It's going crazy. All right. 330 active carts right now. Dude, this is so fun. It's not even publicly available. This is just early access list.
Starting point is 00:25:45 Do you want to call Scott right now and just hash it out? I would love to hear Scott's excitement for this right now. This is going to be great. That's a great idea. Let's call Scott. He's going to be fired up. Dude, can you believe it? He's going to say, I told you.
Starting point is 00:26:01 670, I don't even, it's bigger than my graduating class in high school. Isaac said, didn't expect to have to change my shorts this early in the day. Come on Scott, I know you're not doing anything. Dang, he's in some dumb Twinkies meeting right now. And that's about his job, not about anything else. He works for Smucker.
Starting point is 00:26:27 Well, we tried. Yeah. Sorry, Scott. Sorry, Scotty. Anyway, just very exciting. Fun text. You know he's pumped though. 640 people actively on your site is pretty amazing.
Starting point is 00:26:41 733 right now. It just keeps going. It just keeps going. Bananas. Yeah. Yeah. It just keeps going. It just keeps going. Bananas. Yeah, it's not even live yet. This is just the small list of people. Genuinely have no idea the answer to this question. How many people before a website crashes generally?
Starting point is 00:26:54 I don't know. And I don't really know what a server is either. Fair. It's physical though, right? I think so. It costs money for servers. You've got to keep them cool, climate controlled. Yeah, they're like really protected.
Starting point is 00:27:07 Yeah. Right? Timing? I have no idea. Is that what they keep in like, like kind of... I'm so mad. Well, that's like what did we hire them for? Like that's the kind of stuff you're supposed to know.
Starting point is 00:27:18 Oh. Is that what they like keep kind of in water somehow to keep them cool? There are some, I feel like they're good. Like when cryotherapy... Is that a server or is that just a computer? I don't know. Is that the they like keep kind of in water somehow to keep them cool? There are some I feel like they're good like cryotherapy Is that a computer? I don't know. Is that the same thing? Mm-hmm. That's the same thing. Okay It's just as one that one has a screen one doesn't Yeah, one's connected to a monitor. Computers have screens. You can't connect them to screens but it's just too bulky then. If you have an HDMI cord Sure. Yeah, but and the screens aren't waterproof. So you can't there above you see. Oh, yeah
Starting point is 00:27:45 See, I don't know Either way. Yeah, I don't know when it crashes. Let us know if it gets to a thousand Okay, is it is it a ticket master like Taylor Swift had like it had like two million at the same time Is that what crash is like? I think I heard it was like that's how many was million people on there. That's awesome That's insane. That is crazy. I remember I That's awesome. That's insane. That is crazy. I remember I like bogged down,
Starting point is 00:28:06 like the one dorms wifi went out. I probably talked about this on the podcast at some point. I created this thing, not like full Zuckerberg created something, but Yik Yak before Yik Yak was a thing. Where my mode that is? That's like, it's terrible. I don't mean like things about people anonymously or something. Yes, I didn't know this that is. That's like, it's terrible. I don't mean like things about people anonymously
Starting point is 00:28:26 or something. Yes, I didn't know this is how people would react. I know now when you give someone the ability to be anonymous, they get pretty nasty. I thought I was doing something cool. All right, Scott's calling back. Dude, you're on the podcast right now. Are you seeing this?
Starting point is 00:28:40 I just got off of a work call. I see I have 34 missed text messages. What is happening? We just launched the early access list and it's going gangbusters. Dude, I'm telling you, they call me crazy. They call me crazy, Jake. I just, I felt it. I felt it in my bones, my fever bones. There's 455 people with something in their shopping cart right now. 150 orders in three minutes. That's generally more than like what we do in a day. Wow.
Starting point is 00:29:32 I texted Matt yesterday, I said, boys strap in, we're going to the moon. Dude, I'm telling you, man, I don't I for sure do not think we're making it out of the weekend with fever inventory. I hope you're right. That'd be awesome. I hope you're right. That'd be awesome. I hope you're right. Man, this feels like a roller coaster. I feel like we've been climbing up the Mamba for the last three months,
Starting point is 00:29:54 and now we're just hands up in the air. Yeah. That's a great way of putting it. Yeah, the next like four days is just the big drop. Like it's just like a four day long descend down the roller coaster. It's so fun. Oh man, the twists and the turns baby. Oh barrel roll. This is a good analogy. All right just wanted to hear your excitement. Glad you're pumped. Isaac didn't expect to have to change my shorts this early in the day. I know, think of me, I'm podcasting.
Starting point is 00:30:32 All right, from our dong deers, have a good one, dude. See you later. Hey, Brad. Hey, buddy. Love you. Love you. See you, man. Starting point is 00:31:46 People have to understand the context. Currency. Yeah. I played pickleball against a guy a few days ago, and he, I forget where he played college baseball, but they're the Weevils, who's wearing a shirt that said Weevil. I was playing with Scott,
Starting point is 00:31:56 and I was like, oh, he'll think this is funny. I was like, I'll show you my dong if you show me your Weevil. What does that even mean? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't even know what, I just, I have to stop. Scott liked it though. Oh yeah, it's hilarious.
Starting point is 00:32:08 We get one laugh out of it. Yeah, all right, I'm done now. I'm done. You're done now? That's my last one. Yeah. It's not on the boys. He's like making fun of people on the office.
Starting point is 00:32:20 Like, my nose is too small. And then people are making fun. He's like, it's on the list. He's like, no, I'm not done writing it yet. Anything else? Anything else? That's a funny episode. Anyway, fever launch, a lot of hard work.
Starting point is 00:32:34 Glad it's done. Shout out Timon, shout out Nathan Coley too. Both of them been grinding to get stuff done. I really thought this week would be like Thursday night. I'll probably just like, probably stay up all night to finish it. But I think it's Thursday morning right now and like we're done.
Starting point is 00:32:46 Everything is set. Yeah, we have so many ads, all the content's done. Cool. Can't wait. I might unbrick just to see the ads. Yeah, we got a lot of cool ads. But even just like the social content that's going out tomorrow, Friday,
Starting point is 00:32:59 you guys have already seen it, really proud of. And so yeah, time and shot all of it. I edited like half of it. It's fun. Good job Fun I love a good launch. Yeah. Yeah, you know that you always know that you know that I've always said that you only quiz you guys will quiz all of us on things girls know Okay, so things girls know that guys should not know. Yes. Yes, it should battle the sexist type stuff So we don't really want to get it right. Yeah. It's a bad look.
Starting point is 00:33:26 How many questions do we have? Because I want to see how many I am going to predict that I am going to get right. Like I'm yeah. Like I'm a I'm kind of a creepo if I know this stuff. No, no. Or just we know it's like you're in touch with your feminine side. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:38 Right. One, two, three, four, five. Yeah. You moved out to move in with a guy. Yeah. One, two, three, four, five, six. OK. What's your prediction? Four. Wow. I feel good. I've been married for 11 years.
Starting point is 00:33:51 OK, I think I only know one. One and a half. OK, put it down for one and a half. I have kind of an idea of another one, maybe. I don't know. OK. And keep in mind, I don't know the answers to these either. Rachel has told me words to say. Slash, I looked on TikTok.
Starting point is 00:34:04 All right. First one, waterline. Yeah, go ahead. Rachel said this to me and I said, you're messing with me. I thought I would at least have heard of these words. She's like, no, you should, every girl knows what a waterline is. No. What? No.
Starting point is 00:34:19 I know, it's like a made up, I have no realm. I'm not going to look at the answer, but I'm going to text Catherine. It does sound like it's like, oh, this is like a made up, I have no realm. I'm not gonna look at the answer, but I'm gonna text Catherine. It does sound like it's like, oh, this is like a funny thing to say. That's what it sounds like she was doing. What if this is just like very obvious, well yeah, it's like where your water comes from
Starting point is 00:34:35 underneath the ground. It's not growing at all. It's like with a waste water company. Yeah, a water line. I had to get my water line, like a pipe burst in my water line. Yeah, yeah. Our town growing up, we had multiple water towers because we had someone trouble our water line
Starting point is 00:34:49 Okay, I just texted Catherine. I'm gonna try to make sure I don't look at it, but wait Why'd you text her cuz I'm because I've never heard of it therefore. I like she's never heard of it either We she would have told me about she doesn't know anything We said same brain yeah, yeah, we't know anything I don't know. We said, we said all. Same brain. Yeah, yeah. She's your in-ear, the out-in. I don't let Catherine learn anything. Not without telling me.
Starting point is 00:35:10 We said all the combinations of words you can imagine to each other by this point. And you've never put water in front of line. Not without talking about the water line in the underground. Water line in the basement. Oh yeah, we gotta run the water line. I think it's something to do with makeup and mascara, like something like that. Oh, that's good. That's not that, dang it. What do you line. I think it's something to do with makeup and mascara or like something like that.
Starting point is 00:35:25 Oh, that's good. That's not that, dang it. What do you mean? I don't know the answer. Oh, you don't know the answer? No, I keep saying that. Sorry. Over and over again. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:35:36 That's on my... Goodness. Sorry. Okay, you don't know the answer. Okay. You don't? I even made a prediction of how many I would get right. What do you think that was about? That's what I get for reading things as I'm listening to you. That is, that is such a sight. Anytime I get behind podcast,
Starting point is 00:35:53 it's cause you're always just cause you're reading. It's not just cause you're like spacing out while someone's talking. Yeah. I don't care what you say. Um, okay. So you, like, can you give us a hint? Stop. Okay, so you like can you give us a hint? That's my guess oh she just she responded she responded why see why did you About like underneath shit, I'll say
Starting point is 00:36:26 I'm not gonna read it. The first thing that she responded with was you mean like, everyone called me. How do we not do better in trivia? If you're this willing to find out the answers Monday night, I'm messing with you. What'd you say? Listen. Um, the first thing I saw, she said, said, you mean like underground pipes. That's like, so can I say that? Jake, So you mean like underground pipes? That's like, so can I say that? Jake, the tone of Catherine is texted seem like, you know, some Intel. All right, Tiger, what's your guess for waterline? I have a thinking of something to even like wild guess. And I just don't even know.
Starting point is 00:36:56 Like, I think this is like something similar to your pelvic floor, because I know something with childbirth that could go up and even, you're giving me a look like. I don't know if I, I don't know if Rachel would just be like, everyone knows, let's guess that maybe. See, I don't know. I'm just trying to think of lady things, lady parts. I don't even really know what pelvic floor is. Actually, I have no idea what it is,
Starting point is 00:37:16 but I know it can go up and down. And so that to me seems like a water line. So maybe, yeah, it's just like a, it's a euphemism. It's like another way of saying pelvic floor. I found my answer once I started this thing. Okay, is the term just the female doctors now? Oh yeah. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:37:28 Yeah. My guess, my guess is not those things. My guess is something to do with makeup, but I don't know why they would call it a waterline or what that means or. It's a brand of eyeliner, waterline. Oh, that's good. That's my guess, eyeliner brand. Yep.
Starting point is 00:37:42 What else could it be? Honestly, that's what I'm like I don't know. I maybe maybe something like like a Area in a piece of clothing or something like, you know, like neckline waterline. Oh, that's good I don't know what why they would call it that here. I'm gonna try this on key to it What's the waterline look like? Yeah Why they would call it that here. I'm gonna try this on key. So what's the water line look like? Yeah Yeah, okay. All right, you want to look it up can I look at my text you could look your text with Katherine
Starting point is 00:38:17 She said Okay, so she said you mean the underground pipes the water lines for houses and then said, or the lines on buildings after a flood that show how high the water got. I mean, look at industrial Catherine Goh, blue collar Cath. That's all she's thinking though. Jeez. All right. I'm gonna say it's something. Oh, you just searched girls waterline.
Starting point is 00:38:38 Waterline refers to applying eyeliner to the waterline, the area between the base of the lash line and the cornea within the eye. Whoa. So that's the inside. This is like the waterline is the inside of the eye. And like you do want to like cover that. So it, I don't know, it feels like it might like obstruct your vision.
Starting point is 00:38:57 It's like horse blinders. This technique also known as tight lining. Oh, like over like a canyon or something. Trapeze adds definition and depth to the eyes, making eyelashes appear fuller. This is what Derek Carr does. It's a makeup trend that enhances the look of the eyes. So it's like, oh yeah, I put it on my water line,
Starting point is 00:39:14 maybe is how you say it. Okay. I feel like that would hurt. Yeah, all of it would hurt. Yeah, even just contacts. Yeah. All right, I even gave her, I said it's something that has to do with a girl,
Starting point is 00:39:23 question mark, that guys should know but girls do, question mark. So let's see if she's like, Oh, near the cornea. Cause literally the first thing I texted her was just, do you know what a water line is? That's funny. Brad, good job on the makeup. Like that was, that's good. Cause that's, that's the only thing that made me like lean towards eyeliner. That's why I think there's, I'm four out of six on this is not because I know them all, but because it's like, well, how many things could that be?
Starting point is 00:39:47 Once I hear this, but maybe I'm wrong. Yeah. So, all right. It's also like, do I get a point for makeup? It's just like things girls know that guys should know. It's like my mind immediately is like, oh, this is like female parts or whatever that I like. I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:39:58 Yeah. I mean, obviously it's not the, yeah, the sewage line and the water line. That's probably not the answer unless she's on a post-it trick question. Yeah. This next one's very similar to water line. Where I'm just like, Rachel, you're messing with me. Okay. Money piece.
Starting point is 00:40:13 Heard them, heard them separately. Never seen them thrown together like that. I think I got this. My first. Really? Maybe. I think maybe it's like, I got this necklace and like the money piece is like, what is here?
Starting point is 00:40:31 Okay. Like, it's like, it's like the main part of the necklace. Right. Like it's, it's, it can be anything like a cross or a star, right. But it's known as the money piece because like, that can be like where the expensive thing is. Like if it's like a diamond necklace. Oh yeah. Like the rappers have like a dollar sign money. Right. Yeah. Like Scrooge McDuck takes it literally. Like that's what he. Yeah. But yeah. Like, I don't know. Money. Ducky in origin. Right. That's my guess. You have a guess before I gave you my guess. No, go for it. I don't know what money pieces. I don't know what it is for girls specifically, but I think it's like a, it's like a generic term for like a, like a skinny wallet of sorts. I was going to go the wall around. Maybe. I think wallet route maybe. I think that's what a money, maybe it's an old fashioned thing,
Starting point is 00:41:07 but I think people call it, like when it's a wallet that just is like one of those clips that has cash, you know what I mean? Like a coin purse type thing? That's what I know, guys. But I'm saying for men at least, men have a money piece that's just like,
Starting point is 00:41:19 they just pull it out and it's clipped on cash and maybe that's it, but that's just their money piece. So I think, I don't know, maybe it's like, that's something small for girls to like take with them that it just has their phone and their wallet in or something like that. But I've never, once again, I would be willing to think that Catherine doesn't know this either. So maybe Rachel and Catherine are just two different generations. Well, Rachel is getting this like from like Tik TikTok. But then again, Rachel does know. All right, I'm gonna go away from literal money. I'm gonna go with, this is like a-
Starting point is 00:41:51 That's a good thought. This is the type of spray tan you get. And that's why Catherine doesn't know it. Yeah, it's like- It's natural. Yep, I will not be elaborating any further. It's just this is the type of spray tan you get. Great.
Starting point is 00:42:03 That's it. All right, you texting Catherine? I just said, how about money piece? All right, and I Googled it. You ready? A money piece is in hair color, a technique where a section of the hair around the face is highlighted or lightened.
Starting point is 00:42:20 Oh. Fun. Really? Let's see what this looks like. A hair around the face. That is a misleading name. Oh, it's like when like, those like, OK. I'll explain it for guys.
Starting point is 00:42:32 Yeah, like the front two strands are a different color. Yes. Looks like Beyonce had a money piece. That's what I recognize. It makes it seem more expensive and glamorous. So that's why it's the money piece. Kind of like an upside down peace sign, I guess, maybe. Is it a money piece also?
Starting point is 00:42:52 Maybe I'm just making up the entire thing that I said, but because I look up money piece and it's just hair. Huh, okay. One for two, I only, I'm not looking good all of a sudden. All right, this one I at least think I know the genre that this one's in. Ready? Flyaways.
Starting point is 00:43:12 Oh yeah, that's just like frizzy hair. Yes. Yeah, I knew it was gonna be like, literally will fly away if it's like loose. Yeah, I knew it was hair but I don't know if I could pick it out of a lineup. I don't know what makes it fly away. I think it's just like. no I take back not literally fly away
Starting point is 00:43:26 It's just like they're yeah sticking up or like I don't think it's like the oh like sticking like just like not in place Yeah, so what you think Brad? Yeah either that I don't know what they would consider that Versus like if they have a ponytail and some of it just didn't quite get in there I don't know if that's more flyaways or if it's just like in general, but. Kind of like a land of misfit toys. They didn't get in with the rest. But then again, I think Catherine has talked about that before and I don't think she,
Starting point is 00:43:54 I don't think it's only with. I think that I would agree with that too. It's like just hair that's not how you put it or how you want it. Sure. It's like I had a plan. I didn't fully execute it. I have a few flyaways.
Starting point is 00:44:03 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yep. Fly away meaning girls. In the context of hairstyles, flyaways refers to short, unruly strands of hair that stick out instead of lying flat against the rest of the hair. Yeah. Nailed it.
Starting point is 00:44:16 So when Rachel asked you that, and you like looked it up earlier, did you know it? Or you did? Okay. You just typically find wispy hairs. Wispy. I like that they define them as unruly.
Starting point is 00:44:27 Disobedient little hairs. Get out of here. All right, good job. Good team win. Yeah. All right, now here are three that I found on TikTok. Colostrum. Go ahead, time.
Starting point is 00:44:42 Colostrum. I'm all good. Oh no? Do you know the answer? No. I'm all good, time. Colostrum. I'm all good. Oh no? Do you know the answer? No. I'm all good, brothers. Colostrum is, it sounds like collagen and it is a lot like collagen.
Starting point is 00:44:58 It's a powder you take to enhance, to get rid of freckles and moles. It's like you take it before, like spring and summertime. Like I want to be on the sun, but I don't want to get super freckly. 10 milligrams of colostrum, do the trick. Yep, milligrams. What about you? It's not much.
Starting point is 00:45:19 That's the funny thing is like I've joked, this is like an inside joke. I don't even know if Catherine's gonna remember the inside joke. Like it's something to do with breast milk or newborn baby stuff. I've joked, this is like an inside joke. I don't even know if Catherine's gonna remember the inside joke. It's something to do with breast milk or newborn baby stuff. I'm not sure exactly what part of it.
Starting point is 00:45:31 I think it's like the good part of breast milk right when you first have a baby. Like the cream on top. I don't know. Something like that. But then like all of a sudden, that was like my buzzword for a while was just like, oh yeah, you know, it's good for the colostrum. And she's like, it's, that's not, you know,
Starting point is 00:45:47 like you're not using it right. So what's funny is like, I kind of know what it is, but also it's one of those like generic words that I've just thrown around. So I think I'm almost positive it has to do with breastfeeding and that kind of stuff, but I don't know beyond that. If it was a latte, what part of the latte would it be? The salted caramel on top. Yeah. Cold foam. Great. I get it now.
Starting point is 00:46:08 You want me to look it up just in case? Sure. Yeah, yeah. You go ahead. Colostrum meaning. Colostrum latte meaning. Guess what? I looked up colostrum meaning
Starting point is 00:46:17 and right underneath it was colostrum powder. So we'll look that up next. Colostrum is the first milk your body produces during pregnancy. Oh yeah. Good job. Okay. So if it's a ketchup bottle, it's not what you want. You got to get that out of there.
Starting point is 00:46:30 Let me get to the good stuff. Well, no, well, it plays an important role in your baby's immune system. Okay, so it's different than a ketchup bottle. If you plan on breastfeeding, it's the first milk your baby will get from you. That sounds good. Rich in antibodies.
Starting point is 00:46:44 So yeah, you want it. That's good stuff. Yeah, you don't want to waste that. So colostrum powder probably just means if you can't, if you're, whatever. It's like a way of making it yourself, an antibody cream. Oh, or actually maybe it looks like people maybe just,
Starting point is 00:46:57 maybe this is more like you can take bovine colostrum powder for gut health. So maybe that's what she was referring, your Google search was referring to maybe. Nothing about freckles? Colostrum powder freckles. Thank you. Find the answer you want.
Starting point is 00:47:16 And I'm gonna put freckles in quotes. So that way it has to have freckles. It has to have freckles. Um, oh, only thing is like a forum, somebody named freckles responded. All right, well. So why would they have freckles if it weren't for clout? You know? All right, two more.
Starting point is 00:47:35 This one is falsies. Like the word false, falsies. It kind of sounds like a subgroup of Islam or something. Shiites, Sunnis, the falsies, oh, they fight. Oh, they fight. Yeah, the falsies. This is, for some reason, I just had a guest pop in my mind. I'm guessing it's like a false alarm,
Starting point is 00:47:57 like thought I started my period. That's my guess. Oh, good. That's good timing. Thank you, thank you. Yeah. Honestly, really good. I really don't know what the details of that would be, but there's some false indication. I don't know. And maybe it doesn't start down below. Maybe it starts with like, I'm starting to feel like bloated or crampy or whatever. Like, oh, here it comes. A couple of days go by. I think either that or you're, you did a Google search on like post or like a pregnancy things. And it's like a false labor. Who did a Google search? Well, I'm
Starting point is 00:48:31 just saying you got claustrum. Well, you did earlier when you looked at what you said, you got these, these from tick tock or something or whatever you found. Yeah. So I'm just saying like, maybe it's more centered around that. That's the only other thing I can think of. So I'm going to lock in. I'm going to lock in with you, Timon, I think. Thank you. But then again, I didn't think of it myself was for that time. And I wasn't thinking I was thinking more just like a generic, like Gen Z slang term of like a lie that somebody says.
Starting point is 00:48:57 Or I think it's going to be some type of like fake, like fake fingernail, fake eyelash, fake. Oh, that's great. That's also really good. Handbag even. That's not bad, yeah. Like something counterfeit maybe? I think like fake nails, I could see definitely being called falsies.
Starting point is 00:49:13 Falsies. Yeah. Okay. Or eyelashes. Fake nails. Caribbean community. I'll say fake labor. Like, you know.
Starting point is 00:49:21 Like I thought of. False alarm kind of thing. Yeah. And you're saying time of the month. Okay. Google away. Oh, falsi meaning. JavaScript you think or?
Starting point is 00:49:33 Oh, it came up with the JavaScript thing. Okay. Oh, it was JavaScript. Falsi meaning, how do you spell it? F-A-L-S-E-Y? I-E-S I think. I-E-S S falsies meaning okay. It's urban dictionary. Oh,
Starting point is 00:49:50 I don't trust her dictionary. Okay. Two things from AI. One of them is pads worn to make your appearance larger. Oh, interesting. Another one says they could also refer to false eyelashes. Take a half point. So bosom pads or. Oh, interesting. Another one says they could also refer to false eyelashes. Take a half point. So bosom pads or eyelash. Oh, BP's. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:11 Those are called falses. Either way, it sounds like something on your body that you don't actually have. Yeah. Okay. So falses. Man, I never heard that. I felt good about mine.
Starting point is 00:50:21 Yeah, Tommy, that was a good guess. All right, last one, and this one feels possible. Low lights. I think this is when you turn off your high beams. Back to the low lights, girls. It's like, it's fog time. Yeah, let's get the low lights out. No, I think, Tommy, do you know it?
Starting point is 00:50:40 I think I know the genre, but I don't know what it means. Yeah, I definitely know the genre. I don't know if I could pick it out of like an ABC. Maybe it's like a like blue light or like like ultraviolet light that like reveals certain imperfections on your face. Oh, I got to turn the low lights. Oh, this is what I like. You go to the like, yeah, the dermatologist and like, Brad, I don't think that's it. I'm just putting it against it.
Starting point is 00:51:00 Yeah, it's improv. Hey, Brad. Yeah, there's UV light. There's improv. Hey Brad. Yeah, there's UV light, there's radiation, there's low lights. From my low lights to like, yeah, reveal the, yeah, this like, thing I need to conceal or whatever. Yeah, yep.
Starting point is 00:51:13 Okay, what do you, what's your answer? It's something with hair, I think. Yes. There's obviously highlights. Yes. Oh, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So low could either refer to the part of the hair,
Starting point is 00:51:24 like a money piece situation, or like maybe highlights make something brighter, low lights make something darker, or deeper, like if it's noise. I think it might be, so something I know about when you get your hair done for girls and you like color your hair, obviously from the scalp, it like the real color comes in.
Starting point is 00:51:41 Roots. And they don't like, that's not good. Oh, they don't. And so then you have to keep doing it to like make it that way. So maybe low lights is more like a very subtle change. Maybe like accentuate certain things in your hair. Like Catherine has brown hair, but maybe she gets just like a little color in certain parts
Starting point is 00:51:58 of it. That way when it grows back in, it's not as obvious. That's my guess. So you're saying like dying the roots, the low part of the hair. No, no. I think they always die the roots. Okay, sorry, I don't understand. I'm saying like more like rather than like having this issue
Starting point is 00:52:14 where once the roots come out and it's like glaringly different, like Lindsay Porter getting purple hair and then she's a natural whatever blonde. And it's like, okay, obviously the purple's not true. That's not your real hair color. Hey, you tricked me. I figured it out.
Starting point is 00:52:28 It's like, no, you're naturally blonde, but let's just put a little bit of a different color of blonde in. So it's like that way when it comes out the top, we're good. Makes sense? Kind of? Sort of? Yeah, good enough.
Starting point is 00:52:42 Almost like blending. And I could be wrong. That's my, that's my guess is like, okay. Yours and Jake's are similar. I money's on Jake more though. I think just like between you guys is because I feel, I don't fully understand your like dark, like go from blonde to dark. That's what I'm picturing. It's like, you can get highlights, but you can also like just get low lights to add like more contrast. Let's see. Yeah. Low light. It's probably the makeup thing though. Okay. Low light meaning hair.
Starting point is 00:53:08 I'll just say a hair coloring technique where specific strands are dyed darker than the base color. Okay. Nice. Okay. That was an educated guess. This is the opposite of highlights, which lightens sections of hair. Low lights are used to add depth dimension and contrast to the hair, often creating a
Starting point is 00:53:23 more natural looking sun kissed. I mentioned contrast. So hair, often creating a more natural looking, sun kissed effect. I mentioned contrast, so I gotta get like a fourth of a point, right? Tyler was the only one to mention contrast, so. Cool. So highlights, yeah, that was kind of a guess, but that makes sense. Highlights make things brighter, lowlights make things darker.
Starting point is 00:53:39 Yeah. Snip, snap, snip, snap. Interesting. I like this. It's fun to look at ladies hair. It is. It's kind of like, it's kind of satisfying. Like these is nice looking pictures of hair, just like long hair. That's nice. Like, like there's this picture contrasting highlights and lowlights and it's just this lion's mane of hair. Anyway. Hey, Main Street Roasters is a sponsor of the podcast and we like Main Street Roasters. We likey, we likey to drinky the Main Street Roasties.
Starting point is 00:54:12 Main Boulevard. Nope. Main Lane. Nope. That was actually not bad. Don't say Avenue. Main Terrace. Nope.
Starting point is 00:54:20 Main Avenue. Don't. Oh, that one doesn't feel right. Main Street. Oh, that's nice. We likey that. We likey the streety. Titi Street.
Starting point is 00:54:34 It may be low. That could be you. That could be you. If your coffee is just a little too hot. Ooh, ooh, ooh, it's a little hot. I still want it. Dory, dory, bye. Dory, dory, bye.
Starting point is 00:54:52 Majorroasters.com for all your coffee needs, grounds, beans, K-cups, whatever. It's a small town, small business operation. So support them if you've got it in your heart, if you've got it in your money piece. I'd say so, boy. You know, just support them. You're going to get 10% off with promo code GRKC.
Starting point is 00:55:09 So get your coffee, masonroasters.com. I forgot I brought this into here. Somebody talk about, it's not about girls or parts or anything. That was fun though. I do more quizzes. I know that was funny. We should do that more often. A fishing apparel company reached out to Friday and said, hey, we're trying to get into pickleball. We'd love to send you some stuff.
Starting point is 00:55:30 I said, sure, you know, medium, large, you know, there's three of us. And, you know, it's like angler's gear. It's like long sleeve fishing gear. I don't particularly see this taking off in pickleball, but I was like, you know what? They're sun proof probably. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:47 There's no low lights. You know, they can't get through us. I was like, yeah, you know, send us some whatever. And then they were like, oh, sorry. We no longer have the camo blue and glacier. What else would you like in its place? I'm like, just surprise me. And I'm like, whatever, yes. And I just got them I just surprised me. And I'm like, all right, whatever. Yes.
Starting point is 00:56:05 And I just got him in the mail today and here's the receipt and in cursive on a post-it note, it says he says, surprise him. This is so funny that this somehow made it in the box to me. Like she's passing it to Sheila. Like he said, he says, surprise, I don't know, whatever you think. That's so fun. And then yeah, it says no phone in the Friday Pickleball Gmail. So, I'm sorry I didn't give him a phone. Like for your contact. But yeah, I like that.
Starting point is 00:56:32 And just beautiful cursive. He says surprise him. He says surprise him. So that's how you know it's a small company that's just doing it. I know, it is kind of nice. They have a receptionist that handles the emails and says he says surprise him. And surprised surprised I got haven't tried it on yet
Starting point is 00:56:47 But I'll wear it next episode. So did they give you a blue glacier or what? Like I don't know. I want to say I opened up the box saw this and this is all I fixated on. Okay, that's kind of funny That's I mean, it's one of those things where it's like how much different is fishing gear in material than other active wear? Like I would guess it's the exact same 88% polyester, 12% spandex. It feels like everything else. I was talking to our friend, Clifton, the other day about he's got a disc golf brand. Oh, that's right. Um, and he's like, and it's just like pickleball. It's like, it's kind of hard to just be like, this is what people wear when they disc golf. It's like, well. It's the same as everything else.
Starting point is 00:57:26 So yeah, I know you've tried a little bit with that, like apparel and stuff, right? Like shirts, hats. Yeah, even when companies have reached out, no one making paperball apparel has any kind of like budget for anything. I think it's just like really hard to sell. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:40 Because golf, you already have a dress code. It's great. And golf is just a higher end sport. Pickleball is kind of country clubby, like old people, rich old people kind of thing. But it's like, it doesn't feel like it's like golf. I don't need a specific shirt for this. I'm already wearing a shirt.
Starting point is 00:57:54 So I'm ready to play pickleball. Yeah. And I'm going to get it really sweaty. So I don't want to look that nice or else it's going to stain. Dude, I was at the courts this past weekend, the Lenexa courts, which you remember, we would always like troll in the thing about no leagues.
Starting point is 00:58:07 I saw they have signs like Tuesday nights, league night. I was like, oh, that man is so upset. I bet he's so mad. I'm gonna look up their pickleball group and see if it's still popping. Oh, it's great. They got a new profile picture. It's just a bright yellow ball, I think with a face on it.
Starting point is 00:58:24 Just like really good, like 60 year old graphic design. Sorry, now I'm not sure it's just a bright yellow ball. I think with a face on it, just like really good, like 60 year old graphic design. Sorry, now I'm distracted. I just responded when Catherine was asking about water lines. I said, it's something that has to do with the girl that guys shouldn't know, but girls do. And Catherine just responded, ew. So she's just like thinking some body part thing.
Starting point is 00:58:39 She's thinking pelvic floor. And then I said, how about money piece? And she responded with a question mark. Wow. So first of all, just like super eloquent texture. Second of all. Question mark. That's funny.
Starting point is 00:58:54 What were some other ones? Colostrum. Oh, yeah, she knows that. She'll know that one. Falsies. Yeah, I'll ask her about falsies. Falsies? Faslies, it says.
Starting point is 00:59:05 Anyway, they got a new profile pic here. Yeah, he's still posted a lot. Anyway, so I'm at these courts and a guy gets old. Well, first, I keep meeting people that know time in it at BDA and Lenexa. There was one kid who knew you. He's like, oh, I met your friend, Terman. He called him Terman once and then 30 minutes later, he's like, oh, I met your friend, Terman. He called him Terman once, and then 30 minutes later,
Starting point is 00:59:27 he's like, sorry, I forgot his name, Torin. I was like, you're getting close, it's so close. And then the other day I went, I met a guy who was like, he was using Fridays, he's like, hey, wanted to introduce myself to you, I'm best friends with Zach. I was like, oh, fun. Oh, who, do you remember his name?
Starting point is 00:59:42 Devin. I don't think it was Devin. Yeah, was it like Nate, maybe? Yep. Okay, great, fun. But then there was another guy who was very interesting character, like just like the whole time talks to you,
Starting point is 01:00:00 I'll just impersonate it. Yeah, there's that guy who beat the pros. I'm like, oh, hey, I think he's talking about a video. You know, whatever. Hey, how's it going? I love that video. You took down those pros, man. Like that.
Starting point is 01:00:19 It doesn't exist. Really? I don't know what you're referring. Whatever. All good. Hey, thanks for watching the videos, man. And we ought to make a video together. Yeah, yeah, whatever. 30 minutes later, both of our games are done at the same time.
Starting point is 01:00:29 Now we're in like the courtyard. Now he's got me right where he wants me. Yeah, he's cornered you. What do I gotta do to be in a video, man? Oh, I don't know. What do you think the video should be about? This guy's famous. This guy's famous.
Starting point is 01:00:44 This guy is sober. I know, but he talks this way. This is the second time I've interacted with him, and both times it's just very, just like, no two sentences are about the same topic. It's a little slurred, it's loud. I think it's just how he is. It's all good. And he's getting real loud.
Starting point is 01:00:58 I'm trying to de-escalate the situation. No, I'm not. Hey, I got a YouTube channel. I just have internet access like you do. You know, it's all the same. And then I kid you not, the fifth sentence he says to me, you want some parenting advice. I mean, he has no idea anything about it. He doesn't know if I already have kids.
Starting point is 01:01:17 I've already raised kids, who knows? Or just how you treat your parents. Like, parenting. Call your dad. I go, sure, I'll take it. He goes, that first kid, first night at home and he starts crying. You let him, don't go see him. Oh, this guy. And I was like, oh, cry it out. I've heard about that. Not what he was talking about. He goes, no, you go attend to the baby. Now your wife thinks you're always gonna do it. And in my head I'm thinking,
Starting point is 01:01:49 oh, your parenting advice is like, make her do everything. Yep. Gender roles. Not just something you can get at Texas Roadhouse. It was so wild. I mean, he's basically just got done calling people over because of fame.
Starting point is 01:02:04 Everyone, this guy's famous. This guy, let's talk about the newborn stage. I'll tell you what, don't set the precedent too high. Yes, so that was his parenting advice. I'm like, wow, great. And he's like, so these are your paddles. This guy's telling me Friday, it's a paddle brand. I'm like, yeah, yeah. And he's like, how do you, how do people know about, how do you market your paddles? And I go, well, the videos you watch, like that's one of the ways.
Starting point is 01:02:33 And he's like, you know, I got a daughter with a million followers. I was like, dude, that's awesome. I said like, what's her brand? And he said, it's just, now he stands up. He now stands up and he goes, it's just, it's relevant, relevant content. And I was like, interesting.
Starting point is 01:02:51 I was like, like comedy, like relevant comedy. And then he gets real close to me. He goes, she's just 19 and hot. Oh. And I go, your daughter? Yep. Yep. All right, she play pickleball?
Starting point is 01:03:04 Yeah, I'm just trying to redirect, you know. Interesting, that's awesome. And he goes, I tried to fight it. I tried to fight it for so long. You want some parenting advice? No. Lean into it. Get her some falsies, it'll help with scholarships.
Starting point is 01:03:20 I'm like, okay, buddy. Yeah, I mean, at this point, my friends, because you know BDA, like you paddle stack, and like they have been on a court waiting for me, and I'm like, someone save me from this conversation. This guy's got a 19 year old hot daughter and I can't get escape. But honest to God, that's exactly how the conversation went.
Starting point is 01:03:43 She's 19, she's hot. I tried to fight it Oh, I tried to fight a million followers. I looked her up on Instagram. Do you want to guess how many followers she has? Yes 100,000 good guess correct answer is 32,000 a million though Yeah, did you look her up anywhere else to see if it was like maybe Instagram is like lower than tick-tock Yeah, tick-tock. She did have 800,000. Okay, so let me put this together Mmm round up Lower than tick tock. Yeah tick tock. She did have 800,000. Okay, so let me put this together Round up You put some throw some falsies on it. Yeah, you're gonna be exactly maybe facebook. She did a few snapchat They have followed and looked their public following. Can you see it like on snapchat if people are you know
Starting point is 01:04:17 What I bet it is like another 75,000 on onlyfans. He's like she got a million. Yeah, buddy. Yeah. She has a million, yeah. Dollars, whatever. Anyway, I can't believe I almost forgot to talk about that. Wow, yeah. It's kind of a wild encounter with this dude. Yeah, nice guy. I'm not done seeing him, I'll tell you that. I think he's going to be there.
Starting point is 01:04:37 I'm going to be there. Tyman, I got to point you out to him and forever at BDA sometime. Sweet. Hope he'll allow us one there. I'm going to Illinois this weekend and I'm like, my cousin Andrew is a big pickleball guy. I'm like, I want to use that to reignite like an addiction to pickleball.
Starting point is 01:04:51 I haven't been addicted since last summer and I'm like, I feel like I need it because I'm living closer to pickleball now. It's like I got it. And you're around that constantly. Yeah. I can't believe you don't. Oh no. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:02 I mean, like a film, it's like, I want to be playing, but I just, yeah, I don't get that much time to think I want to get, I want to get back to addicted enough where I will go to BDA even if no friends were there. I was, I was there last summer and I was like, I was loving it. And you would go by yourself. Yeah. Occasionally good for you. I mean, a lot of times my friend Caleb would be there cause he was also in the same boat, but like we'd both, I mean, no matter if the other person was there, I mean, we just show up and play with strangers. I love it. Yes. The thing like I enjoy it, but like we'd both, I mean, no matter if the other person was there, I mean, we just show up and play with strangers. I love it. Yeah. It's the thing. Like I enjoy it, but I'm not going to initiate it. Right. Somebody
Starting point is 01:05:29 else is like, Hey, we're going to pickleball and trivia. And I'm like, okay. Yeah. Oh, four hours. Yeah. Yeah. Hopefully like three and a half of those are pickable. 40, 40 trivia questions and pickleball. Um, that's fun. Um, uh, let's, what else I have here? A quick, quick little Easter. No, Memorial Day. It's not even before Easter. It doesn't matter. I, Catherine, I drove separately to church and then we were going to go Chipotle after
Starting point is 01:05:57 lunch or for lunch after church. And I get there. Like, have you noticed like 435? There's like a weird exit thing, Midland drive and then you gotta get back on. That's where the Bondi trucks going to be. Isn't it awesome that the exits closed? Hey, but people have to kind of get off to get back on first if they're going to Chimish
Starting point is 01:06:13 Parkway. Yeah, maybe we'll go through the cones. Yeah, yeah. Come on out. Just put some sides there. You got a lot of traffic. So I missed that. So I like took a long way to Chipotle and we still beat Catherine. Catherine's with Henry and Rosie. And she's like, um, we, we had to stop because I looked, uh, backwards
Starting point is 01:06:33 at Rosie while we're driving on the highway and she had rolled her window down unbuckled and was standing like halfway out the window listening to this David, the site and sound like music. They were like blasted to get apparently. And all of a sudden she's just like, you know, she's just like, just wild, like just a different breed of, I don't know. Did you have any siblings like that time? And they're just a little bit like more rambunctious, crazy. Like it's like, it's like, it's not taught like, and she's just so independent. Like, like the other day they were playing house outside with their playhouse and she just went and got all her bed sheets from her room and didn't ask,
Starting point is 01:07:10 didn't think like, oh, this is probably wrong and I'm just gonna do it anyway. It was just like, I'm just gonna do this and not think twice about it. Whereas like- A self-starter. I don't think we ever had to teach Bo and Hattie like, your bed sheets stay on your bed.
Starting point is 01:07:23 And don't do anything else with them. That's funny, but she's just flying by the seat of her pants. She's just, she's crazy. She, I mean, right now she's just like, mom, mom, mommy, mom, mom. And so I'm trying to teach her like to say, excuse me, mom, mom, mom, T T bed sheets. She, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she,
Starting point is 01:07:50 she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, video. If you want to see me in like knee high socks, that's kind of my thing. So that's just like, it's a really good video. Dude. That's great. The knee high socks thing. So we got Bo. So first of all, sorry, let's back up. What are, what, what video are you talking about with you and Jesse? Were you
Starting point is 01:08:13 meaning you and Anna? Oh yeah. I guess Jesse's in it because he gets hit in the head, but yeah, the time learns to pump. Yeah. I was like, I don't know this one. Lydia Lane is the next one we need to watch. Yeah. Okay. Lydia Lane, age three. Um, Bo we recently got him some like longer socks like kind of cool. I feel like, you know, I like I like long socks I like wearing them But we got him some Nike ones that are like pretty long and we got him some other like generic Amazon ones too long dude and Like they go they go almost to his kneecaps and he refuses to not wear them completely
Starting point is 01:08:45 pulled out. And so he just looks time and let's be real, like the most homeschooled homeschooled, like, like, like it's like, I understand there's like a stigma or whatever, but it's like, well, our kids are not going to be like that. And then it's like, but like Catherine will find it. Forget though, is it feels really good. It does feel great. It's it's hugging the hug in the leg and both things. It looks cool. And like Catherine will find it. Forget though, is it feels really good. It does feel great. It's, it's hugging the hug in the leg and both things.
Starting point is 01:09:05 It looks cool. And like Catherine will fight it. I sometimes I'll just be like, I don't care whatever man. Like you're going to grow out of this phase eventually, but like forever right now, he kind of looks like he's forced up like a little bit, like just his, like those, with his knee brace things on like braces. So yeah, I don't know everyone's well stuff like that. Catherine, Catherine struggles with like the, like what they're wearing out in public.
Starting point is 01:09:26 I'm why I'm always like, who cares? Yeah. Yeah. Bo Bo doesn't understand that like all the same color is a bad thing. Oh, and so he's wearing blue today. Yeah. Well, it's blue. I have blue on everywhere. I only wear my royal blue shoes too. That's a great kid thing. Yeah. Let him be. Let him, it's like, yeah, let him be blue. Yeah. Rosie the other day had like some, I don't know what the print was. Flower print purple and then like leopard print like pants. Oh, he print on print. Oh, you look awesome. My little flower. Leopard. I was like, no, we got to change it before we go to this thing. So anyway, fun times. But we had a preschool graduation for him last night. Wow. Bo's gone through a lot.
Starting point is 01:10:05 He's baseballing, graduating. He's gone through a lot. And he's staying in Texas. I tell you that. He's staying for like a week by himself with Honey and Pops. We got Sloan Dogg Millionaire coming back up. I knew how he wanted that. Yeah, she's excited about that.
Starting point is 01:10:17 And Bo's really excited to have. He calls it his alone time in Texas. For my alone time in Texas, can I bring my fishing pole? For my sabbatical. Yeah. Sure, for my alone time in Texas, can I bring my fishing pole for my sabbatical? Yeah. Like, sure buddy. Um, but yeah, it's one of those things, the preschool graduation, you know, he goes to mother's day out once a week, like for six hours, five hours, whatever it is. And, uh, but it's one of those things as a, as a single guy, I'm like, that is the dumbest thing. Why? And now as a parent, it's like, that is the cutest thing. See the
Starting point is 01:10:45 walkout, you know, to this like pre-recorded music with his cap and gown and go sit down. And he's got like, you know, the collared shirt underneath this gown. So he just looks cute up there. Just. And so, you know, they do this little ceremony. Oh, well, a lead off hitter. Yeah. Right. I know well down the road here. And. And, you know, they do like just a really small little, like they all sing some songs and whatever. And then they, they show us all how they know that how to do the Pledge of Allegiance, which is really cute and sweet. And then all of a sudden it's like, you officially graduated preschool, you can throw your hats and all these kids like throw their hats and Bo just does it. Bo just kind of looking around for a second.
Starting point is 01:11:25 It's not, I'm like, he's not even gonna throw his hat. Like what, like why, why was my kid the one that doesn't throw his hat? And then all of a sudden he just takes it and just kind of tosses it off. Like so nonchalant. Like a cat pushing a cup off a table. It was, it was just like, it was like it was barely in his hand. He just. That's so funny.
Starting point is 01:11:42 I thought you were going to say instead of throwing it up, he like threw it like, like a baseball, like threw it out. Like a frisbee out into the crowd. Just potted off his head. He was so cute though, man. I mean, that's funny. It's one of those things where I totally judged all that stuff. And now I'm like, I'm in it. I can't wait for Rosie someday.
Starting point is 01:11:58 Henry too. You know, like so cute. So anyway, that's fun. Should we do comment and win of the week? Is we do that? Yeah. Yeah. Oh, what in the world?
Starting point is 01:12:10 I just accidentally deleted my podcast note for a second. Don't worry. Command Z. My comment is from Sarah Jane Rowe. Unrelated this episode, but I just watched episode 96 on my journey back from the beginning of Ghostrunners. And Brad mentioned how much he was looking forward to showing Bo Space Jam Sunday. So fun to hear the dream realized a few episodes back. I thought that was great.
Starting point is 01:12:31 That is cool. Because it's like prophecy fulfilled. So I don't remember feeling that way. But also I just probably have felt that way my whole life. Yeah. That was one of the movies they brought for the car down to Texas. It's space. We're going to bring Space Jam and I'll keep it for my loan time. Yeah, exactly. And maybe that is what they're going to do. Maybe it's for not the car, but let's see. Oh, this is just a fun little thing. I'll, I'll, I'll give a shout out to pray. Lee Sinclair, uh, guys, I forgot to start the episode last night after staying up late for a crazy thunder playoff game, thunder up only to hear Brad mentioned Nick Colison when I listened today. So Nick Colison is working
Starting point is 01:13:08 for the thunder right now. It's kind of fun. Just little quinky, dink shout out Nick Colson time in top five favorite, uh, KU players. Yeah. Do you have a win of the week time? I do. Uh, this morning I woke up to all like four of my friends just like, or three of my friends of my friends just like waking me up to say happy birthday It was awesome. Yeah Graydon I live with great and then Oliver and Zack came over like wake me up and surprise me with like a birthday breakfast It was awesome. That's great. I have the best friends. That is it was so that's a great one of the week And to get that from like 18 year old friends. That's really impressive
Starting point is 01:13:43 Yeah, like it's awesome great made waffles Zach brought like fruit and stuff. It was great. They made bacon. That's a great start to the day. That's great. That's so fun. I hope you guys continue to be friends. Yeah. Huge win. Shout out to the boys. My one of the week is, you know, member at Lifetime Fitness. Lifetime's pool just got filled up recently. Did it outdoor outdoor pool, baby. So it's that time of recently. Did it? Outdoor? Outdoor pool, baby. So it's that time of year.
Starting point is 01:14:07 And it's just fun to be by the pool. Fall sees off. I'm diving in, baby. I'm diving in. So you can't go deep, though. So sorry, Steven Kirst Chapman. OK. I want to hear one in a week.
Starting point is 01:14:20 Actually, I just thought about Steven Kirst Chapman. Will Severins and I asked the other day about Forrest Frank. Do you think Stephen Chris Chapman was their generation's Forrest Frank, where it's like, this guy makes cool, fun, relatable music? And now you look back, it's like, Stephen Chris Chapman is such a cheeseball back there. You're like, yeah, that was kind of early Christian music
Starting point is 01:14:40 and doesn't really stand the test of time. And maybe that's just happening again. Maybe. Like, yeah, we thought that this was like cutting edge of like Christian and pop. Like he like can legit play guitar. Yeah. He's like really good.
Starting point is 01:14:53 Yeah. Yeah, probably. So anyway, one of the week. Mine is just going to be Rachel Coupe Triplet. I mean, she really comes alive. I think Catherine's the same way. When it gets warmer like this, it's just great. I mean, we've gone Saturday and Sunday.
Starting point is 01:15:10 We did picnics each day, both days she, because it's like pretty perfect in the shade. It's like 80 degrees. So like in the shade, it's truly perfect. And Rachel's like, no, I've been waiting all winter. I'm going out to the sun. Two days in a row, she takes a blanket to the sun and just like falls asleep.
Starting point is 01:15:28 And she's like an old like, just like farm cat or something. It's like, I gotta just stretch out in the sun. So, boy does she love the warmth. She is so adamant. She's like, I really don't wanna turn her air conditioner on. And last night we went to bed and our house said 77. I was like, this doesn't feel warm to you? It was a love vote talk.
Starting point is 01:15:50 And she's like, no, I don't want to turn it on until Least Memorial Day, June. And then last night she's like, actually I don't want to turn it on this summer. Oh, do it Rachel. You guys have it all right now. Yes, so when she's not home, I turn it down and then I kind of, there's like, it gets warmer
Starting point is 01:16:08 when she gets home and then every morning I crank it down again. So that's kind of the pattern right now. I had friends that had competitions with their neighbor of like, who can keep it off the longest? And I think they got to 4th of July one year. No way. Yeah, it would be kind of a fun competition
Starting point is 01:16:23 because we could do it. I don't think our neighbors, like the ones that fight sometimes that you hear, I don't think they have air conditioning because they always just like keep their door open or something like their front door. It's like, why would you do that if you have air conditioning?
Starting point is 01:16:35 I'm sure we talked about it on the podcast when I was living there, but when me, Isaac and Harrison lived in that rental house in Mariam, I would always talk about the porch boys. We would always drive by and it was a man and woman, but I loved calling them the porch boys because they were always on the porch. It didn't matter when you drove home.
Starting point is 01:16:49 I mean, 10 p.m., 8 a.m., noon, it was like they don't have jobs and I think they don't have air conditioning either. It's like middle of the summer, it's so hot and they were still out on the porch. Man, they loved that thing. Yeah, porch boys. That's funny.
Starting point is 01:17:02 I don't remember the porch boys. Yeah, it made it more part of my life off the podcast But I don't want to talk about The kids were so excited when they saw you and Rachel outside. I think it was Mother's Day. Yeah, Kevin's birthday I think Nick and yeah, they all wanted to yell at you and they go outside. No, that was later They saw Rachel on a walk. They went out. Oh did they? Yeah, how do you goes miss Rachel? Come on? We were so proud of like, oh, she's sweet. She's very inviting. Yeah. Come in here. Yeah. Anyway. All right. Time. It's got to go work on his birthday. Yeah. Poor guy.
Starting point is 01:17:35 Got to get out of here. Go get that paper on his birthday. Thanks guys for listening. Yeah. As always, we'll see you Monday as always. Love you guys.
