Starting point is 00:00:00 Good morning Ghosties. We're a live audience. And it is not morning time here. I don't know if you can see the window, but first ever ghosty getaway night pod. Yeah. Never, yeah. Dude, the best part about the ghosties is like,
Starting point is 00:00:19 if you clap or you say anything, they'll just go crazy to it. Oh, okay, we're clapping. We were just at dinner at this place at live music. And like, oh, yeah. Yeah, live music. It was great, though. Like, they finished.
Starting point is 00:00:33 We were like in a corner. Like, we were not even visible to these musicians probably. And they finished a song, and we just started clapping. And, like, everyone just went net. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It was great. So. After the second time we did it, we got a little nervous that that might have been a recording.
Starting point is 00:00:48 We're like, that might have been the radio that we just clap for. Oh, well, good song, nonetheless. Yeah, very encouraging people. It's been fun. For session one, I knew, I had met every single person except one. so loser but it's very fun it's just very different than how it's always been
Starting point is 00:01:08 we've never had like so many people return and this one guy didn't know I'm actually gonna start the episode talking about you first night of the getaway this is Nathan this is Nate slash Nathan sorry yeah yes that's his full name and we are talking about
Starting point is 00:01:27 I think airline travel and I had heard something and they were very familiar with it, like semi-private airlines. And so Nate just starts riling off a few thoughts he has. He goes, yeah, I've done those before. And I think, hey, you get a bomb on here pretty easily. And it goes in a little more detail about where the bombs would go and how he might do it.
Starting point is 00:01:48 He goes, I mean, even commercial flights. I mean, they'll just like you walk on with a stroller. And then he would check. I throw a bomb in there, too. Yeah, yeah. And so, I mean, he's just going nuts on bomb stuff for a while. And then as it kind of calms down, I think someone else is coming over. and now we're kind of talking about security in general.
Starting point is 00:02:02 He goes, well, that's a thing. I always get stopped when I have a beard. And I was like, I don't think it's the beard. It's not the beers, brother. I think it's you constantly bringing up bombs. I think that's why you're getting stopped. So keep an eye on them. Yeah, does this carry on hold a bomb-sized carry-on?
Starting point is 00:02:21 I don't know about that. That's pretty good. Well, yeah, we, he just came out of the bathroom earlier and said he dropped a bomb in there. He won't shut up about him. The guy's a bomb machine. Uh, uh-oh. Ooh, I think this tight beat means that it's going down with some random thoughts
Starting point is 00:02:41 in white, me too. Midwest best friends eating fast food on repeat. So come along. Let's have some fun and go ahead. Get on your feet because it's a ghost from a podcast. Oh, it's been fun, though. Yeah, I was going to do more bomb jokes. That's good.
Starting point is 00:03:05 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, I don't know. That's good. Yeah, it is a really fun, different atmosphere. Obviously, some people know each other from other sessions, but some people are like, they're almost all returners, but they're not all returners from the same sessions in the past, which is fun. But I do feel like it's been like a different vibe,
Starting point is 00:03:23 or at least like for me personally, I'm like not quite as... Intuitive. Yeah, just like, I don't know. When's the next session here? Okay. No, just like I don't feel like the need to, entertain quite as much, like, beyond what I'm capable of or what I need to do, you know, what I'm, like, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:03:41 The kids know how to play with themselves now. Yeah. They know where to find the toilet paper, you know. Nathan. Nathan has it. Yeah. No, but it's been so fun. It's been great.
Starting point is 00:03:55 We've had, you know, yeah, some new people, new, new workers, new, whatever. One of my favorite things this year compared to last year is that our boy Tyler, Stolzvist, who last year, the last couple of years has been the video guy, is still doing some video stuff, but he's also like not as intensely doing it. And so he's had the ability to just get in the mix more. And one of my favorite inside jokes from the entire trip so far has been totally, totally. He talked about how he's doing door door sales. And I was trying to ask him some questions. He's like, well, the first thing you always do is you always agree with him. And he's like, and one thing I've, for whatever reason, I've changed is the way I say totally.
Starting point is 00:04:38 And I don't say totally anymore. I say, totally. So anytime I, you know, go door to our door and I say, oh, well, you know, this person says, we don't, we don't need that service. We already have a service like that. Totally. The arm goes out. It's not fully extended. It's not too fast. It's not too firm. It's about a half extend straight up front of you. Totally here. Totally. Yeah. It's just a nice, soft totally. And earlier today, I was cleaning up, you know, around the pool, and I see that Tyler looks like he's looking over the edge of the deck, almost like talking to somebody down below. And I was like, who is he talking to? I go over there, and I notice he's got AirPods in, and I see a double hand totally.
Starting point is 00:05:20 I didn't know that. Yeah, there he is. Yeah. And I was like, dude, I witnessed a real life totally. It was amazing. Wow. Huge highlights been, yeah, just having Tyler around. Who did you double hand to?
Starting point is 00:05:33 I'm sorry to forget their name. Oh, okay. Totally. Totally. Totally. Totally. We've all been there. Yeah, totally.
Starting point is 00:05:40 Forgot their name. That's all right. So, yeah. Yeah, it's been fun. Yeah? Somebody with Sherrath Glass? Very fun vibe so far. Unfortunately, you know, Catherine was unable to join this year.
Starting point is 00:05:58 Rachel was also not able to join. Reason Rachel wasn't able to join is because we're pregnant. Yes. Thank you. So very exciting, very fun. And it's a good thing she probably didn't join because earlier today, her water broke. So this is my last night with you guys.
Starting point is 00:06:32 So NightPod. Yeah, it's a good thing. It's good, it's good. Yeah, it's crazy. Everything's good. We weren't due for a couple more months, but she's not in labor. She's not going to labor,
Starting point is 00:06:44 but I still want to be. be there ASAP. So, yeah, everything's healthy. Everything's good. But yeah, it's been kind of a crazy day. I feel like couple of people have been like, hey, Jake, are you looking at the wall? I go, yeah. But yeah, so it's going on with you. Yeah, right. You text me. First of all, I'm so glad that we've told people because it's always like, oh, like, I want to relate that back to Jake so bad. I was like, I don't, whatever. But yeah, this morning you text me like, sorry, dude, crazy morning. I'll tell you more about it later. I was thinking like, whoa, you know, some new Friday paddle metallic stuff came out or something. Like, it's going to be awesome,
Starting point is 00:07:25 you know, and then you're like, no, we got to like go outside and talk. I was like, oh, snap. So, um, bittersweet, of course, that you're going to be gone here, but obviously so amazing and so exciting and yeah, something we can be praying for for sure. Yeah, that'd be great. I think even at dinner tonight, I was like, felt just so anxious and I never feel anxious and that so I don't really know how to deal with it. But I was like, all right, instead of being stressed that I'm going to like miss the birth tonight or whatever. My prayer, if you guys want to also pray, this is just that, like, the, Rachel and the baby would be healthy. If I'm not there, you know, it's fine. You know, that is the most important thing. So, that's how I'm trying to, like, chill out tonight. So, yeah,
Starting point is 00:07:57 first thing tomorrow, I'm flying out and it's been weird all day today. I've, like, caught myself also being like, and because I want to, and because session two is going to be crazy. So, who knows if that'll happen? You know, I was like catching myself and like, don't spoil it yet. But anyway, so, yeah, it's, we're very excited and very thrilled in this last little You know, chapter today is like pretty fun. But yeah, it's been a long time coming someday. I'll probably tell the full story of how we got here. But, yeah, we're pumped.
Starting point is 00:08:23 So thanks for, you know, being excited. Pretty fun. Also, I swear every single person has, like, individually asked me, so Rachel found a teaching job yet, and I'm just improvving every time. I don't know why I didn't come prepared with, like, an answer. But, oh, every time I'm just, I'm drowning in lies and deceit. Oh, and I'm, like, renavigating the answers.
Starting point is 00:08:47 but I keep talking about Isaac. Every time someone asks me that question, and I'll tell a story about Isaac. Isaac actually didn't like his teacher, so Rachel's thinking about not teaching anymore. Yeah, I should have came prepared with like a script a little bit. But, Brian, you had a question. Oh, wow, sure.
Starting point is 00:09:06 Yeah, that's great. Oh, wow, thanks. Heavenly Paul, we praise you, and thank you just for this such exciting news that was just shared with us. Lord, we pray for Rachel and Jake, as this is exciting, but also can be a little bit terrifying, when we just pray for a quick and easy travel for Jake,
Starting point is 00:09:19 and that every doctor that they come into contact with will be able to do just work wonders in your name. And in your name, I'm in there? Wow, thanks. Yeah, that's been cool. All day today, you know, Rachel, I've been chatting and talking, and she's like, I think all of our nurses are Christians and I don't even know, I don't even know the details
Starting point is 00:09:36 on how they found that out or whatever, but I'm excited to meet all the nurses. They sound awesome. They're like friends. Sweet. Yeah, right. So, yeah, I'm excited. I'm kind of eternal optimist of like, we're going to get to know the ins and out to this hospital. We're going to have cafeteria jokes.
Starting point is 00:09:53 Like, this is going to be a fun little adventure. You know, it could be some type two fun. So, yeah, but also it's like, I wish you guys could have heard Rachel and we first talked on the phone this morning. She's like, I mean, my water broke, but the ghosties. Well, you stop session two and session three. I go, yeah, you know, and she's like, well, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:10:09 I mean, the doctors aren't, you know, I feel fine. I was like, I'm going to come home. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I moved you to a city where. you know one person and that person's out of the country. So I should probably come back home. You're no hotel or what is it? Hospital.
Starting point is 00:10:23 Hospital. Yeah. You're a hospital. Brad knows. Yeah. Takes four to learn. Yeah, that's right. Honestly, there is a lot of peril, not completely, but like to Catherine's first time.
Starting point is 00:10:32 Yes. Because Catherine was in the hospital for three weeks with Haddy before, or in the body. Haddy was in the body for three weeks. But yeah, like didn't expect it. Kind of like you were saying, like I think you were like, we don't have a Crip set up for the, yeah, you know, like all the things, you know. Yeah. That's how I felt too.
Starting point is 00:10:50 I was like, no, like, you can't, you're not supposed to go hospital. Like, we don't have the go bag. You know, they always talk about, have the bag ready, like three months in advance. I don't even know. I don't even know what goes in the bag. I did nothing. Yeah. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:11:02 What do you need? What do you? Phone? That goes your pillow shoot. Do you order it? I don't know. Yeah. No, it's going to go.
Starting point is 00:11:08 It's crazy. Maybe I told you this and I told Rachel, but I was like, last night, I'm, like, brushing my teeth, getting ready for bed. And I had the thought, like, every situation, you know, especially with pregnancy, it's different. But I was like, this feels like such a long time since we found out we were pregnant. And this takes forever. How could you ever not be ready by this point? I'm ready to get this thing going.
Starting point is 00:11:29 And then, I mean, six hours later, God's like, let's see. Let's see just how ready you really are. I go, oh, too fast, too fast. Oh, wow, hey, not like this. I don't have the bag. But no, it is kind of like, as long as everybody's healthy, great. Speed it up. I do feel like every time we've had a kid, even if it's like the baby was late,
Starting point is 00:11:47 like past her due date, Captain's like, I'm going to labor. I'm like, oh, what? How? Now? You're like, you're like surprise. It's like, it's crazy. So, yeah, obviously I'm not like, get it out as soon as possible. Let's go super premature.
Starting point is 00:11:59 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Joking around. Man, yeah. I'm relieved that we could tell people too. Does it feel good for me? Yeah, it's like, yeah. But it's crazy that her water broke before we announced it to anyone. It's like, man, I did that out of war.
Starting point is 00:12:12 So got a fun. video, I guess I'll post tomorrow. You know the gender? No. No gender. Rachel, girl, baby, who knows? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Confirmed Rachel's a girl.
Starting point is 00:12:22 Rachel girl. Yeah. Yeah, baby, waiting to find out. Awesome, man. Yeah. That's always kind of fun. Every, every, you know, O.B appointment. Hey, you must be Jake.
Starting point is 00:12:31 You must be racial. We're not finding out. Yeah, yeah. You've got to get ahead of that. And we've had two slip-ups. One nurse said he, one nurse said she. Oh. Somebody's wrong.
Starting point is 00:12:40 Anybody's game. Yeah. Anybody's game. I feel like that's a phrase we've used 15 times. Oh, yeah. All right, 191. Anybody's game? Anybody's game?
Starting point is 00:12:51 Oh, man. Shout out Hannah Warner, making this customized ghostrunners game. I mean, yeah, we said anybody's game a few times during that. But, yeah, it's like a combination of, I mean, it's kind of like a classic, like, you know, just board game where you go around.
Starting point is 00:13:08 But every different, you know, card has five and ten on it, or complete the podcast title or, oh, your basement got, like, jammed with sewer, you know, water, so you had to move back five spaces, stuff like that. The second I walked over, like, let's see what this game's all about. It was like, just got sued by Yola, go back eight spaces. It's like, this game's awesome. Yeah, eight spaces.
Starting point is 00:13:30 Ace spaces was the biggest one I saw, but. And also Maddie Deidierly, last year she made custom Ghostrunners, Guess Who? This year, she's back with, what do you mean? Yes. Pretty fun. Yes, so fun. So, yeah, all together, just awesome, awesome times with awesome people. Good morning, ghosties.
Starting point is 00:13:46 Oh, man, it's kind of bright out here. But it's time to do a quick ad read for Main Street Roasters. Oh, bonus announcement, everyone here I think knows, but for the listeners, not the only one, Emily Brace is also pregnant. And yeah, whoo-hoo-hoo! She's like Princess Diana. Yes, I am. Yes, I am. I made sure to check that that was okay to say. She's like, everyone who needs to know. publicly. Emily's aunt is like, now hold on a minute. This is how I find out. Anyway, I say that to give context to the next row.
Starting point is 00:15:17 I don't know if you saw this day. I look over and Alvaro and Maddie Dieterly are playing pickleball. Totally normal, right? The other person on the other side of the net is just Emily Brace. It's two on one. And I mean, it's noon. And it's as hot as it can be. She's like just running back and forth.
Starting point is 00:15:36 And I go, Alvero, what the heck? He goes, there's two people over there. Good, I like that. Take a stance, you know? That's amazing. That was really clever, Alvarez. Oh, my gosh. What was the score of that game again?
Starting point is 00:15:59 What was the score? I'll be lost. Oh, yeah. Emily's got that second, you know, second person, help them. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, we played against them one time. today and it was like a long like overtime game game of the century game of the century it's awesome
Starting point is 00:16:15 and there was a few times right i didn't say like hey are you okay because you're pregnant but i was just like hey are you okay like i don't know i was like i'm just like i'm scared for emily like she she did great though and they beat us so thomas and i Thomas and I what's going on with us Thomas we have we don't know how to close man like Thomas and I play together pickleball and it's like this is going great and then we lose a lot so i don't know what's going on but sounds like it's going great it almost is and then it never does so anyway i had a blast watching you guys today that was very fun yeah it was fun pickleball's been a hit shout out or tinsia who had a great idea and i called her bluff she was like hey someone had this idea to do this and i go no this was your idea even though i had no idea to believe that
Starting point is 00:17:01 she's like yeah it was my idea but um something we'll have to do for session two she's like enough casual game here, a casual game there. Let's do a Ghostrunner's pickleball tournament with some currency on the line. Oh, that's a no-brainer. We got to do that. So, yeah. Thanks for putting that on my plate once Jake's leaving.
Starting point is 00:17:19 That's awesome. Yeah, the best thing we could do run a pretty structured pickleball tournament the second item is. Like print off brackets, probably. Have people fill them out in beforehand, you know. Actually, I guess we could do that tomorrow since we're not recording the podcast.
Starting point is 00:17:31 That's true. So, that's good. Sorry, but no pressure. But hey, yeah. She made me. She made me. That's a great idea. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:17:38 What else is going on? Mitchell Bowser's back. He was here two years ago. Two and five Canadians will hear the words you have cancer. That's why every step and dollar raised matters. On September 19th, join thousands in Toronto for the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation walk. Challenge yourself, friends, and family to walk 21 kilometers in support of life-saving research. Together, we can carry the fire.
Starting point is 00:18:07 and help create a world free from the fear of cancer. Register today at pmcf walk.ca.ca. Totally. Totally. Hold up six if you're back. Boomerang wasn't here last year. It was here the year before. But there's a burger out on the menu tonight
Starting point is 00:18:31 where, yeah, a big menu we went to Lulu's, and he's like, I think I'm going to order Bubba's burger. And so then we get joking about all the Jersey Mike's jokes about, I'll take the burger, kind of get it Bubba's way. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And he goes, you know, $100 if I spice it up, I go spice it up. 100, currency dollars. Yeah, currency dollars.
Starting point is 00:18:53 That's good for the listeners. And, yeah, he goes to order the burger. He's like, I'm going to take the burger and go ahead and lock Baba and the burger in a room together. Well, well earned. Good joke. Dude, that's amazing. Yeah, he's pretty funny. That's so good.
Starting point is 00:19:17 Earlier today, special, not special guest, special arrival from Tyman and Zach. Time and Zach are here now. Pumped out. Obviously, I'm a pee. Yeah. Yeah, Zach took our picture earlier and he said, everybody say cheese, and I go, Peas, Black Eye Peas. But we were playing this game.
Starting point is 00:19:39 We were playing pool volleyball. Shout out Isaac Brace for, he blew it up. He said he almost passed out from blowing up this thing. He did a great job with it. Playing pool volleyball. First of all, I had a blast playing pool volleyball because we just really got loose with the rules on it. It was like if it doesn't hit the water or go basically into the sand outside of the pool, it's still in play. Ball's life.
Starting point is 00:20:06 Ball's life. Yeah. And so it was like bouncing off of things going off. over by the window and somebody would go pick it up and throw it in and we'd keep going with it. But timing got here and timing got promptly put to work because we're not that athletic. And so we kept hitting the ball over this glass wall into the sand by the beach. And there was one time I was like, oh, Timon, you go to it? Yeah, yeah, I got to get it.
Starting point is 00:20:29 And eventually, Tyman just, like, basically just sat there and just like waited for the ball to go back over and throw it up. And so this is one of those times where I was like, is this too far? I think he's fine. He can handle something. But, you know, Timon is an athlete in some ways. I don't know how much he throws on a day-to-day basis. But every once in a while,
Starting point is 00:20:51 it took him a few times to like, he was throwing it from 15 feet up or 15 feet below, throwing it up and it would hit the wall and come back down. Throw it up, hit the wall, come back down. There was one time it was like four or five times. He still couldn't get it up there. And finally he threw it up,
Starting point is 00:21:06 gets it over the wall into the pool. And I just took it. I just threw it right back. Sorry, it's windy. It's windy up here. Fleer right back. I think somebody was like, that's a bully move.
Starting point is 00:21:16 And I was like, dang, it kind of is. So, Tyman, sorry if that was too much for you, but... It's fine. Okay. It's fine now. And then eventually Timon went up and Justin went down, and he had his headphones in.
Starting point is 00:21:28 He was just worship it down there probably. Yeah, yeah. It needed it to get through it. So... What else we're doing? We've learned about the POV app. Yes. Which is pretty funny that we're,
Starting point is 00:21:38 using POV after TJ's POV time last time. POV app is cool. If people don't know about it, know about it. Tell them. Go ahead and know about it. Yeah. To be honest, I'm not even on it. Dude, I've been POV in.
Starting point is 00:21:51 I saw you today. Yeah, I've been trying to get my game up. They call it like a disposable camera app. So you take a picture where you can't look at it until like the person that sets the time like unlocks it. And so Tyler's doing it where it's unlocked every, at the midnight of every day or whatever. And so then you can look at all the pictures. And Isaac Brace, have you seen Isaac what he's been doing?
Starting point is 00:22:13 No. We did yesterday at least. Gosh. Let's just say, how have I seen this? I heard earlier in the day, somebody was like, well, you know, one of every ten guys has a foot fetish, right? I don't know. Maybe one out of every 100 guys has a foot fetish for guys because Isaac Brace has been taking just pictures of dude's feet.
Starting point is 00:22:38 And probably not he'll be at. Pretty artsy-looking pictures, but still. Pretty good composition of the toes. Like, look, look back there right now. My foot. That's my foot. Wow. So anyway.
Starting point is 00:22:56 Neat-o. Yeah, the P-O-B-F is fun. Really cool. P-O-V-Ap is fun. Yeah, we've had a good time. Last night we had a good game night. That was fun last night. We, uh, oh, I'll tell you, one of my highlights.
Starting point is 00:23:08 Everyone gets, we had everyone split up into their own teams. There's a table full of girls set at the table. Oh, we're playing the age game. Tell them about the age game. Oh, the age game. Oh, my gosh. Two things that have been sweeping the nation, age game and through ball. True ball.
Starting point is 00:23:20 People won't shut up about it. People love through ball. Age game, this is such a bro thing to have happened. Like the night before everyone gets here, we always have like all the helpers come and we come a day early just so we can have all the day Saturday, do everything we need to prepare. And we're just sitting around and somehow it comes up
Starting point is 00:23:40 about how old Ellen DeGeneres is. We're like, all right, everyone guess how old. Ellen Generous is. And of course, we're all wrong because it's so hard to know celebrities' ages. And then we probably just hang out for at least an hour playing this game. We really chase the feeling of being wrong. What about Barbara Corcoran from Shark Tank? How old she?
Starting point is 00:23:58 Yeah. Mark Cuban. Yeah, Mark Cuban. 68? Wow, he looks pretty good. Wow, he's like almost knows my dad. And then, you know, and then we almost started reversing it where we're like, all right, who can guess somebody who's 39 years old or something like that.
Starting point is 00:24:13 and did that for a while, and I'm in love with the game. I don't know. I can play, I have a problem where sometimes it's like, I think everyone else is done, and I'm like, oh, I'll keep going. One more hour. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, I just don't want to stop. So we played that a few times so far with the ghost.
Starting point is 00:24:28 Yes, there was a pool session, but during game night, there was like a, I'm going to start for a little age game, three rounds of it, first two rounds or, you know, first a person, then a number. And then the third one was like, let's spin the wheel of fun. And what it lands on is like how you have to answer. So some people got like a gap. You only have to get within three.
Starting point is 00:24:44 Okay, you have to say a musician. And the table full of girls got your person has to be a baseball player. So it kind of lands. And it kind of goes, oh, thanks for coming out. Yeah. Thanks for playing. And maybe I'm wrong. Cassidy, you're a sports fan?
Starting point is 00:25:00 Was anybody else at your table? I didn't feel like, like, honestly, I saw that table. I was like, they don't even know a baseball player. And then I saw Cassie. I was like, Cassidy has at least a chance. She did fantasy football. earlier. Yes, he did.
Starting point is 00:25:12 That helps somehow, I think. And so everyone had to go around and say someone who's 53 years old. And it's like, all right, if we'd have done everyone? Oh, shoot. I forgot we haven't done the girls yet. Okay, girls, give it your best effort. 53.
Starting point is 00:25:24 Go, Derek Jeter, look it up. Dog, God, that guy's 533. Yeah. That was electric. That was pretty fun. That was fun. Also, yeah, we did the first night. And who got it first?
Starting point is 00:25:36 Somebody got it with... Mariah. With Chris Pratt. Like, Chris Pratt, and we looked up. She nailed it. Like, we were going around the room, giving everybody a chance. Brian finally got it. And I was like, I think it was Tia next, right?
Starting point is 00:25:49 And I was like, Tia, what were you going to say? She was like, I was going to say, uh, sure. We looked it up. Boom, also nailed it. It's an electric start. Yeah, yeah. It's really amazing how old people are, honestly. Like, especially celebrities that you think, like, oh, they're just a little bit older
Starting point is 00:26:04 than me. And it's like, wow, Paul Rudd is 94 years old. Yeah. That one shocked all of us. Yeah. Yeah. And then through a ball. Let's talk about through ball. Where to begin. Where to end? Through ball is a sport. I'm sure you guys have all seen it. Wanted to get your hands on it. Sweeping the nation. Friday's thinking about investing. Friday through ball. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:25 I wish I got on more of the ground floor, just exploding right now. Sure. You saw this what on Kickstarter? Okay, well, I realized, honestly, too late, maybe a week and a half ago that like since the all Oliver's didn't come this year. Oliver's are having a baby student, Gabe and Maddie, Gabe Oliver. How's that work? You know, Gabe Oliver, yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:50 I don't know. Gabe Oliver and Maddie are not able to come, and they always brought, like Gabe Oliver would always bring all the games. You're called Game Oliver. Yeah, Gabe Oliver. He would bring like a kite, and he'd bring glitter and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:27:06 Arts and crafts. Who wants to play Twister? Anybody want to play Twister? Yeah. Shoes and socks off. Ah, yeah. Let me see those piggyies. It's like, okay, dude.
Starting point is 00:27:16 All right, Gabe Oliver. So, um, they brought so many games. Even when they came in, like, their tiny little Honda Civic, they brought a whole, you know, volleyball set and all this stuff. So I was like, oh, I need to buy some games. So I just, I knew there was some cool, there was one specific game that I did not know the name of. And so I was, like, searching things. I tried to search kind of, like, long form on Amazon.
Starting point is 00:27:36 You ever done that? No, actually. Doesn't work. Key word only. Bad, bad time. I was like, beach game that has wooden backing and a bouncy ball, like baseball, like thinking, like, maybe that'll get me there. Didn't. But, and so then I looked it up on YouTube of like different fun beach games and one of them was through ball.
Starting point is 00:27:54 I was like, that looks fun. It's basically pickleball combined with volleyball a little bit. Naturally. Naturally. Yeah. Corey did not like that explanation before and now he understands it. It really is. Anyway, but I won't.
Starting point is 00:28:09 Totally. But I watched this video and I was like, $100 for this basically PVC pipe thing. I was like, we can make that ourselves. Oh, yeah. I'm going to task totally Tyler and Tyler Tong with that. And, you know, the day before we're like, let's go to Home Depot or Lowe's and buy it. Pulled up to Home Depot. It was blue and said Lowe's on it.
Starting point is 00:28:30 Yeah. Some navigator. And Tyler Tong's like, that's a conspiracy. I don't know what's going on. So anyway, but we, yeah, could have bought it online for $100. We spit $230, or building ourselves. Turns out PVC is not that cheap. Yeah, and that does include the lime green spray paint.
Starting point is 00:28:49 Yeah, really good lime green spray paint job on it. Thank you. It pops. And, yeah, you play with the pickleball, and I don't know if you know about the beach, but it's pretty windy. Yeah. There's about a 15-minute window every day where it's perfect for through ball. Yeah, it's through ball clock, we say, yeah, get down there. Hey, hey, cozier today. I think this guy over here might be looking at me.
Starting point is 00:29:12 I don't think there's a way to zoom in on this. Nope, there's a guy right there staring at me. No problem, buddy. Cozy Earth.com slash ghostrunners. It's the promo code. I saw somebody just the other day, and I was like, that's a cozier shirt. And she said, absolutely it is. You can just tell when someone's cozy in their cozier shirts. Starting point is 00:30:31 Cozyert.com slash Ghostreners promo code is GRKC for 20% off your purchase for every single soft, wonderful, comfortable thing you could ever imagine. It's it. Through balls awesome. Psychiatrist. Psychiatrist. Oh, yeah, there's some good times. That's one of those things.
Starting point is 00:30:50 I talked to my friends. I talked to people at lunch today about psychiatrists of like, when you're in the middle, it stinks. It's like, it's no fun. But you got to, somebody's got to do it for like, like, it's like being a dad driving, you know, in vacation or something. It's like, hey, somebody. somebody's got to do this in order for everyone else to enjoy this, you know, like,
Starting point is 00:31:10 yeah, quickly for the listeners, in case you have a play that it's basically, it's great for groups of 20 or, you know, whatever like this. So two people leave the room, they're the psychiatrist, everyone else tries to figure out a pattern in which they're going to answer the questions. You know, that's your like diagnosis, and then I guess the psychiatrists come back and try to figure out, you know, what's wrong with you. And so, for instance, the first one we did,
Starting point is 00:31:33 which is always fun when you give them a specific letter to answer. it was like if what was the first one if something something what was the first one we did oh if Tyler was actively filming like if his camera was up then you had to answer with the first letter of your name if not just answered normally and truthfully
Starting point is 00:31:50 and if you get you know in the same moment you see Tyler's hand go up and you get asked a question like people freeze and they say crazy stuff and where's Clay Clay's name starts with a C and he was very quickly asked,
Starting point is 00:32:08 what are you drinking? And he was drinking a Coke. So, hey, perfect. Just say Coke. And he goes, Common Coke. Common Coke? How does that even enter your brain?
Starting point is 00:32:24 What is that? That's common Coke. Yeah, common Coke. Yeah, there was some, I was a psychiatrist for that one, and I was like, common Coke, okay. So it's a double letter maybe or something.
Starting point is 00:32:38 Got it. Yeah, that was fun. Yeah, what's fun? What else have done? For shades? Lulu's. You want to hear a joke that I bet no one's ever made at Lulu's? Thomas Schuller said it.
Starting point is 00:32:54 They brought us out lemons, and he goes, those are Lulu's at Lemon. Thumbs up. I don't know if that's exactly what you said, but you said something like that. Nailed it. I loved it. I bet no one's ever said that.
Starting point is 00:33:13 Lou lemons. Lou lemons. I think that's what he said. Lou lemons. They put the lemons in the Lulu or something. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So good. Our waiter might be watching because we told him about the podcast and he looked it up. The name was Terrence.
Starting point is 00:33:26 There's no way that guy's watching. I'm just going to say that right now. He took a picture of your phone to look up the pod. And then he said, let me take a picture so I make sure that I don't lose it. And they gave me a hug and he took a selfie. All right, right. So you never know. Terrence.
Starting point is 00:33:44 Terrence, if you're watching, please comment, baby. Yeah. You'll be the only one. That's how we'll know. That's how we'll know it's you. Okay, fine. Please comment. Comment, congratulations.
Starting point is 00:33:58 Congratulations. Then we'll know. We'll know it's you, Terrence. Congratulations, it's me, Terrence. Oh, by the way, Bubba and the burger are still in a room together. backhand Bowser. I started my day eating breakfast with Mitchell.
Starting point is 00:34:19 Tell me how you feel about this. I go, hey, I don't mean any offense by this. You probably own a cat. You get that vibe. Former barista, glasses. That's it. Do I get that vibe from him? Do you get that vibe?
Starting point is 00:34:36 But do you actually think he owns a cat? I'm looking around at all the men in the room and I'm going to say this right now, by far number one candidate for any cat. But I don't believe you do. No. No. Turns out he's allergic, so.
Starting point is 00:34:53 Are you? Misread that situation. Yeah. Also number one candidate for being allergic to cats probably. Just a massive foot picture. I mean, just back to that. And now I'm, you know, I mean, that's crazy.
Starting point is 00:35:05 Isaac's like, I was taking it for the tan lines. It's like, yeah, sure you were, bro. Sure you were. Dude, Isaac's a little mischievous. We were doing reverse charades last night, which is the way we did it, was you have to give instructions to your teammate
Starting point is 00:35:21 on how their body can move. So it's just like, put your right arm out in front of you and make a fist and then you're trying to guess what the shraid is. And so we get everyone through, we have fun. And I was like,
Starting point is 00:35:32 all right, let's just do a bonus round. Let's get Brad involved. And then I get a text from Isaac who just goes, do shake weight, L.O.L. Really? Yeah. I was like, I can't do shake weight.
Starting point is 00:35:51 wait, dude. I can't do shake weight. Great text, though. Do shake weight. L-O-L. Gave him the L-O-L-L-O-L in just in case. Oh, that's amazing, dude. Do shake-way, L-O. Yeah, that was fun. And then to end the game night, we did a kind of an improv game or, I mean, not improv, but like, we gave everyone 10 minutes or so to come up with a new conspiracy
Starting point is 00:36:17 theory to give to our resident conspiracy theorist, Tyler Tong and see how valid that conspiracy theory is. That was pretty fun. Honestly, the one that I have thought about multiple times since is the water one. Oh, I thought about the prison one. Yeah, explain the prison one.
Starting point is 00:36:38 Honestly, it was something that I said at breakfast where I was like, that does sound like I've been to prison this whole time. I forgot what I said, but I was like, am I feeding into this? The conspiracy theory was that I didn't move to Arizona. I've been in jail or prison this whole time and I just got out. and, you know, I just got a mole removed,
Starting point is 00:36:54 so I have these, like, incision, and I have stitches, and they said I got shived in prison. Or no, is that what you said? I thought it was the microchip. You dug out the chip. Oh. From you, like, because you escaped prison, is what I heard. I shived myself to get the chip.
Starting point is 00:37:12 Alvaro said it, so it was hard to understand. Dude, Alvaro, who's been kind of a hero at these short answer presentations in years past. last year he was part of you got this mama it's like an all-time gift now in this year and now I feel so I thought it was a bit did you think it was a bit
Starting point is 00:37:31 I was like oh they're doing this thing where Alvaro struggles over his words for 30 seconds you got that too yeah I could see Nate like kind of trying to rescue him and I was like I think it's not going well because Alvaro is just like you're bombing this bro Stop talking about bombs so much, man.
Starting point is 00:37:59 Basically, they're trying to set up that, you know, he's trying to vaguely allude to. Someone you might know might not have moved to Phoenix, but instead of saying my name, he's trying to just slowly describe me, and it took years to get through what he was trying to say. And come to find out, he got, like, not necessarily stage fright, but it's like,
Starting point is 00:38:16 I totally related to it where it's like, I would love for my parents to be at a stand-up comedy show of mine, but I don't want him sitting in the front row. Like, it's great to know you're out there, but I don't know. if I'm going to do a diarrhea joke, I don't want to look at my mom while I do it kind of thing. And it was like,
Starting point is 00:38:29 this all sounds fun when you're planning it. And then when I'm like 12 inches from him looking up, he's like, I can't, I can't say it. Even though it's a joke, I can't say it. Right.
Starting point is 00:38:38 Yeah. And you had like a timer. You gave everyone the prompt of like 60 seconds. You have to pitch. Yeah, go ahead. Have a blast. And so my thought was genuinely like, you know, they were going to struggle for, you know,
Starting point is 00:38:48 45 seconds. And somebody was like, uh, Santa Claus is real, actually, or something like, you know, something's really. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:53 but that was a funny one. I like the water one where somebody had the conspiracy that water is actually bad for you and that will kill you 80 to 90 years on average. And that's the only reason that people aren't living longer. And instead, you're supposed to drink Gatorade.
Starting point is 00:39:09 Yeah. Which has no water in it. Power aid gives you power. He's like, they're telling you right there in the title. What was the reason to drink Gatorade? What is it? Gator's. Gator's.
Starting point is 00:39:21 Oh, because gators have been around for a long. time. Prehistoric, you know, come on. They're trying to tell you. Stick around like gay. They're trying to tell you. It was funny how seriously, and it was, it did play the part perfect, but how seriously Tyler Tong would ask follow-up questions. He's like, I could see it. I just don't know why Walmart would be involved. Amazon, sure, Elon, I could see it at Walmart. I don't know. It just doesn't work for me. Doesn't really make sense. What's their motivation behind it? Yeah, that was great. So yeah, it was a great time.
Starting point is 00:39:53 I don't know. I'm trying to think what else has happened. I think you guys were playing some games in the ocean. You guys were laughing a bunch. What did you guys do out there? Oh, yeah. We love doing the, we love doing see ya. You know, where you just.
Starting point is 00:40:04 And I have no, I have no grace or mercy or whatever you're going to call it. I don't feel bad for people in see you. It's like, oh, was that a bad throw? I was like, no, you just didn't catch it. See ya. Get out of it. Or it's a terrible throw. I was like, yeah, it's a terrible throw.
Starting point is 00:40:18 Yeah, it's a terrible throw. Yeah, see ya. We would do that. We were doing the, I'm trying to think. any funny answers because eventually we did see you with categories. So you had to catch the ball and say something within the category. Say a candy bar or something. Yeah. You know, Alvaro, of course. Alvaro just stuff. He's just always funny. You know, so it's like, all right, animals. And I'm like, dog, there's a cat, pig, you know, horse. Then go to Alvaro. Dog. And I'm like, you know, just
Starting point is 00:40:45 always like, no, see ya. So we have a signature drink, signature latte this year. Oh, Hannah Jennings. That's fun. That's nice. Yeah. They deserve a clap. Yeah, it's called the black coffee latte. I love that. Yeah, great idea, great execution. It's a latte with whole milk and four pumps of syrup. Just how I like this.
Starting point is 00:41:09 If you call it the black coffee, yeah, I drink black coffee almost every day. We ordered a black coffee half sweet today. You don't hear about that super hot. No, yeah. I saw some people, Catherine had a friend growing up that they would eat. They would call this ice cream dish, like, you know, dinner salad or something so they can eat it at the beginning of their meal. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:32 Turns out those people are very fat now. No, I'm just kidding. I don't know. Can I go back to Alvro for a sec? Always. Great. Alvaro. Totally.
Starting point is 00:41:43 Born in Peru. Yes. Got a little stage, right? And tonight at dinner, we really covered some ground conversationally, like very fun. dinner, like went into old earth versus new earth, you know, Pangio was thrown in there a little bit. And also, we were talking about, we had the marine biologist Amanda Hutzel on that side of the table, so, you know,
Starting point is 00:42:04 a lot of science talk. And we were talking about animals in the ocean and like the current and, you know, Alvar was like, so is that like the movie Nemo where the whales get sucked up into the current? And Amanda's like, well, well, yes, there's a current, but like, you know it was the turtles, right? You aren't whales getting sucked up into this. And then Alboros was like, I saw the Peruvian version.
Starting point is 00:42:31 I had this like bootlegged weird Peru subtitled version. And I was like, dude, that's such a great joke. For the rest of your life, every time you get a movie quote wrong or get anything wrong, I think you could make people believe like, dude, we had this, when I was growing up, we had this weird Peruvian version. There was no turtles in it. Only whales. $200 when you pass go in Monopoly.
Starting point is 00:42:51 No, we had the Peruvian version. No, yeah. Yeah. You see, he's right here. I don't want to get too controversial, but this is called the ocean. This is called the beach. Some people call it the ocean of Mexico. Other people call it the beach of Mexico.
Starting point is 00:43:07 I call it this beach right here an American beach, Beach of America. And because I like the beach of America, I also like to support other things in America, like the farmers of America, like the meat that the farmers. make in America, like good ranchers of America. Good ranchers is sponsored our today. Not only have they been sponsoring us during the podcast for so long, they have been providing all of the meat, all of the protein for this entire trip. Super, super thankful for them and just their willingness to literally, I think it was 14 boxes that they sent to us full of meat for this whole thing. We have massive coolers full of meat, bacon, all natural beef hot dogs.
Starting point is 00:43:53 chicken thighs, chicken breast, you know, gluten-free chicken tenders. Somebody literally cried on this trip because they realized that the chicken tenders were not only seed oil-free, not only, no added antibiotics, not only organic, but also gluten-free. So we had flank steaks. We had wago beef burgers. We've had it all, and every single thing is so good from Good Ranchers. And not only is it delicious, but you're supporting American farmers when you do it.
Starting point is 00:44:19 So go to Good Ranchers.com. Use our promo code GRKC for a date. discount plus a free protein add on and just make sure that you don't regret it because you won't regret it. Okay, just don't regret it because you won't regret it. Just don't regret it because you won't regret it. Just don't regret it because you won't regret it. All right, good register.com promo code is GRKC. They say America Meat delivered.
Starting point is 00:44:39 They say welcome to the table. We say thank you from the beach of America. That's great. Are they bucket at the table? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, dude, Alvaro. This guy's a content machine. So, all right, you come around to the tables
Starting point is 00:44:55 At the beginning, yeah, yeah What was I asking, what was I giving out, Tyler Stolzvice? Crab Crab Claw, Crab Clause? Fried Crab Clause. Fried Crab Clause. Dude, I kind of... You want a little fried crab claw? I, Nate, close your ears, I kind of bombed a joke.
Starting point is 00:45:10 Oh. Because we, like, there's like three of us who all had such hard time saying fried crab claws. So it's like, Tyler, this could be funny. Go around and ask people to say it, and he comes back 10 minutes later, he goes, they bet it a thousand. They did it on all.
Starting point is 00:45:21 It's like, sorry I made you do that. And then we kind of were like, what's wrong with us? Anyway, you thought they tasted great and you were giving them to everyone. Yeah, yeah. I felt kind of bad. We ordered like six appetizers for our table. I don't know if anybody else ordered any, so I was like, I should probably go give some of these five crap calls.
Starting point is 00:45:39 I didn't think about that. It's so Alvaro, born in Peru. Totally. But has lived a long time in Maryland. No, Virginia, but Maryland is running through. See, that's interesting, because I feel like you were talking a big game about Maryland at dinner tonight. So you all have a little leftover right crumb claw. A crumb claw.
Starting point is 00:46:04 And so I think a lot of us are very eager. Let's throw this on a napkin. I go, hey, guys, guys, guys. I'm born and raised in Maryland. I kind of know how this stuff works. Anyway, you see these buckets holding the silverware? It's not what they're for. everyone throw them in here
Starting point is 00:46:23 and we're kind of like okay and then the guy our waiter comes back who's just been traumatized by Mitchell and Bubba we're like hey just quick question
Starting point is 00:46:35 we're supposed to put these in here right and he goes he says some along lines of like I've never seen it done that way but he's like we would clean them up either way though so like you know thank you
Starting point is 00:46:44 but no that's where we keep the silverware those buckets were so clean that is not where they go Oh man That's so good Yeah you guys got to sit next to Alfred dinner It's awesome
Starting point is 00:46:55 I'm trying to think The fan at the end With It's dirty already Oh yeah She had like Wet for her towel I spilled my drink
Starting point is 00:47:08 I think I missed this I'm sorry You literally You literally have made a comment about it Okay I was there This is my midderm I preoccupied Yeah A big day for Jane
Starting point is 00:47:18 Yeah I did miss one conversation, that's on me. I do remember, here's what I thought you were going to say. Alvaro's in the middle of like, this is like the serious part of dinner talking about, I don't know, like theology or something. And not that far away from him, Hannah Jennings is talking to someone else. But I like kind of interrupts Alvaro and says, now say it without the accent. What in the? I mean, that's truly exactly how it happened.
Starting point is 00:47:48 And I was like, wow. Hannah, because she, uh, Hannah, oh, wait, that was you? No, I don't know. Oh. No, it was Hannah. She had a couple sips. Oh. That was fun.
Starting point is 00:48:01 That's why you said, I didn't say anything about an accent. What'd you say? That's definitely how it went down, is it not? Oh, oh, I did. Okay. Yeah, I was like, definitely what happened. Sure. Zach was talking about Ella Langley.
Starting point is 00:48:21 I think that's her name. and singing the song and I couldn't understand the lyrics when he was singing in a southern accent so I was like say it without the accent oh okay okay oh Ella Langley you know what it's called if you're a guy who likes Ella Langley this is actually just fun trivia question what and Ella fella Ella fella yeah learn that from Eisen McDonald he's like I'm kind of an Ella fella I was like okay what about this one We got a few. I don't even think they're, well, I shouldn't say. I was going to say, I don't even think it's that young. But some girls helping us out, Kiki and Mary, awesome in the kitchen.
Starting point is 00:49:02 And Kiki comes up to me yesterday and she goes, hey, you know the Wi-Fi password for this, John? And I go, I don't think, I don't think that's like a common thing that everyone knows that we're saying yet. And Kiki, if I may, a bit racially ambiguous. So I wonder, am I allowed to say this? Or is this your word? Dude, that was funny. The first night we meet her, she's like, I always take off my shoes, you know, Asian family.
Starting point is 00:49:29 And Jake goes, you're Asian? I was like, Jake, she's clearly Asian. I've been to Asia. I don't know. They don't look like that up in this John. Oh, yeah. But I did kind of enjoy, like, eventually, like, yeah. Kind of saying John for almost anything.
Starting point is 00:49:46 Do you spell it? How do you spell it? J-O-A. J-O-N. Totally. Totally. Totally. That makes sense. There's some Wi-Fi in this, John?
Starting point is 00:49:54 Yeah. You know the Wi-Fi password for this, John? And, yeah. Speaking of the age of girls, I forgot. This happened as soon as I got here. I picked up the... We got a big van this year, transit van. It's black star named with the Black Trans.
Starting point is 00:50:10 Yeah. Hannah Jennings made the joke at dinner tonight. Last year, the big van was called the Girl Van. This year, it's called the Transvan. I guess next year it's the boy. van. So I get the van, me and Tyler Saltzvitz get the van together, we go pick up
Starting point is 00:50:31 Star, I get a little turn around and the Chick-Flade Drive-Thru. I call Star, I'm like, hey, we're here to pick you up, and hustle up, if you wouldn't mind, I'm in the, I'm accidentally in the mobile through drive-thru. So there's people behind me. Oh. And actually, that's not important in the story at all. It's just fun fact. And so she hops in, gets in Black Trans,
Starting point is 00:50:47 and then we're, we've probably been talking for 20 minutes at this point. And then Tyler gets a call. from his brother, somebody, doesn't matter. And, you know, you could tell the person said, like, who are you with? And he goes, oh, I'm with Jake and this lady's star. And we spent the rest of the drive diagnosing that. And just, like, when, what age should you call someone lady?
Starting point is 00:51:16 Probably shouldn't do that to someone of star's age. Right. Maybe if it's plural, you would say, hey, ladies. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I feel like we all learned a lot. Which, Tyler? Oh, yeah, totally. Totally, Tyler.
Starting point is 00:51:30 And in Tyler's defense, I think he was somewhat trying to make a joke about, like, he was stuttering like, like, he couldn't remember Star's name. And the lady might have been just like a quick filler word. I don't know you meant to call her lady, but you did.
Starting point is 00:52:04 Together, we can carry the fire and help create a world free from the fear of cancer. Register today at pmcfwalk.ca.ca. Yeah, interesting. I... Yeah, it does feel like it's either pretty old, Or like ladies. Ladies is fine. Ladies is fine.
Starting point is 00:52:27 Hey ladies. Over here, let's take a picture. Yeah. Pose right here. Ladies, good together. You know. Only photography. For pictures.
Starting point is 00:52:34 Yeah. That's pretty good though. Okay, so another inside joke. A lot of good inside jokes from the helpers so far this trip. John. If anybody's been to Buckees before, the inside of Buckees, they have this like barbecue area, restaurant, whatever. right this is Bucky's yeah okay and and they'll just like the workers there will yell out beef on the board
Starting point is 00:53:02 yeah you know you know whatever pull pork on the board short rib on the board yeah so I heard Tyler last night when Star was like drinking some coffee and she's like decided she's gonna stay up later you know you know whatever and I just hear Tyler go star getting younger on the board So, I've been a fan of that. I've been a fan of that. Just anything that's happening. Yeah. Put it on the board. Beach time on the board.
Starting point is 00:53:30 Yeah, right. So. We're having a good time. We're having a great time. It's been an awesome time so far. Are we forgetting anything, Gossies? What else? What have been some other highlights have happened?
Starting point is 00:53:42 Riddles. Riddles? Oh, really? You like the riddles. All right. Thank you. Yeah. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:53:49 How can I forget this? Yeah. Now I see. Okay. Oh, man. Okay. Another Alvaro story? So Albrow, no.
Starting point is 00:54:00 This is the, I mean, the last person you would suspect. Where is she at? Want to look her? Everyone knows what I'm talking about. All right, so she is new to Ghostro's Getaway, but because she also lives in Gilbert, we've met a couple times before. Her name's Shannon.
Starting point is 00:54:16 She's great. Just the sweetest, I would say, just like a quiet, just thoughtful, just a sweet girl. Sweet girl. Sweet lady. I think the context of that is important. So I'm doing riddles.
Starting point is 00:54:32 I'm rattling off a few that I just know and we're all going around. And she's like, I got one. And so she's like, actually let me like kind of find the wording online. And she kind of talked to AI, I think, about like, here's kind of what I remember with this riddle. What is it? So then she's reading off her phone.
Starting point is 00:54:45 And so it's already a very confusing riddle about like, one man got a human arm in the mail he he then mailed it the human arm to a second man the second man opened up the package satisfies himself that it is correct
Starting point is 00:55:11 and then continues on or something like that and so we're like kind of all looking around like did we all hear that so we're kind of I don't think anyone says anything we go Can you read it one more time? Like, maybe we all heard it wrong. And so from the top, it's like, yeah, first guy mails it, second guy satisfies himself, that it was accurate.
Starting point is 00:55:34 It was kind of like it was all one sentence. And so we're like, I don't know if we, do we sell, maybe she does, I don't know, what do we all do? Yeah. I feel like there's no way it's important to the riddle. And then someone does eventually say like, so does the word have to be satisfied? Or is it like, he, like, authenticates the arm.
Starting point is 00:55:55 And then Shannon kind of doubles down. She goes, no, it needs to be satisfies. It's within, I mean, we're all, like, going, who's going to ask the first question of, like, what's the answer to this riddle? And in the end, that word did not need to be in there. And I'm sorry, I'm sure you would like to defend yourself somewhat, but that's basically how it.
Starting point is 00:56:17 What's the answer? What's the... I mean... Strap in. This is... One more time. Tell me the riddle. Honestly,
Starting point is 00:56:27 do you want to say it? You want to kind of exposure therapy and one last time? Okay, no. It's going to be impossible to like... Okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:56:37 Ever get it. I mean, that's basically it. It's like, yeah, there's two guys mailing a severed arm to each other. So, you know, you're double-checking. Is it a human arm? Yes.
Starting point is 00:56:45 It was like, once on someone's body. Yes. Okay. Okay. Come to find out. there are three men involved. They were shipwrecked on a deserted island. One of the men was a doctor.
Starting point is 00:57:00 And because they got so hungry, they had to turn to cannibalism. And so far so good, is this right? And so the doctor goes, well, I'm probably most qualified to cut off an arm because that's what we're going to need to eat. So we all agree, we're each going to cut off our arm. I'll do the first two while I have two hands free, and then I will cut off my arm as well. And that's how we're going to eat.
Starting point is 00:57:21 We're going to eat each other's arms. And in between this, after the two guys got their arms cut, they got rescued. So he got to go home with two arms, but he made a vow that he would cut his arm off as well. So we mailed it to the first guy, mail it to the second guy, satisfied himself. And then, oh, and then he buried it in the backyard.
Starting point is 00:57:43 Okay. Just straight up. We didn't get it. You didn't get that one. Yeah, you did. It took a few hints. We were a little off on that one. Wow.
Starting point is 00:57:53 Okay, Shannon. Yeah, I would spend some time. It was fun. Yeah. I think we all bonded together. Everyone was down there for that riddle. I can't believe I almost forgot that. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:58:03 Wow. Anything else? What else? That was fun. We played a lot of pickleball. Big tournament tomorrow. I don't have you guys heard. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:15 I thought it's funny what Kiki's like when she got it set. Oh, what Kiki said? She said, John Sack. That's what she said. Asian. I hear that a lot when I go to Malaysia. Yeah, they're all saying it. I'll tell you one thing I personally enjoyed
Starting point is 00:58:35 is that Clay and Katrina Zimmerman are so into pickleball and pro pickleball that I'm having a time of life. It's like I finally have like a niche friend and we're just like just going deep into weird pro players and oh, it's been fun. And anyone who else is like at the table kind of feel bad.
Starting point is 00:58:49 It's like you're not going to know a single thing we're talking about. But yeah, it's like you're talking like 2023 Scott Peck. Okay. Yeah, like they're into it. It's been very fun. Really?
Starting point is 00:58:56 You guys know the ins and out. Yeah, Katrina showed up with Kyle's custom paddle. It just came out a couple weeks ago. And anyway, that's been fun. I'm not just blowing smoke. I'm not just B&S. It looks awesome, dude. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:59:08 It does. Yeah. And then what did you say after that? You go, and then when I look back at the regular ones. I don't remember exactly how I said it, but I was like, yeah, it just looks like crap compared to those metallic ones. It kind of does. It kind of does.
Starting point is 00:59:21 It's shiny. Yeah. Yeah. Hard to go on shiny. Man, it's good to record in person again. Truly. It's quick. Yeah. It's quick.
Starting point is 00:59:30 Time, you have anything, USA? I'm having a great time. All right. A little delayed, but yeah. Yeah. That half second delays built in. Alvaro is funny. Alvaro's funny.
Starting point is 00:59:48 Oh, timing. Oh, Timon. Oh, wait like time. But yeah. I don't know. I feel pretty good about that. Let's let let Ghosties enjoy their last night. Yeah. No. Last night with you? Bitter sweet, man. I mean, but yeah, just pump for you, bro. That's amazing.
Starting point is 01:00:05 Yeah, what a surface dance. Seriously. Yeah. Cool. End it. With a... Time out of your boys. That's fine, I don't know. You won't get to do. That is, my name's Time and Imsh. What do you want me to do?
Starting point is 01:00:28 I know, honestly, we haven't talked about how we want to end the pie. I don't know. I don't know. Yeah, whatever you want to do. Any other questions? Anybody have questions for us? That's fair too, yeah, yeah. That's a little bit of an impromptu thing, but anybody have any questions they want to pose to us?
Starting point is 01:00:44 We have mics. Kind of fun. There's a mic attached to the lampshade. This was a surprise night pop, which is fun. It was. We went to dinner. We got back, Timing and the boys got it all set up. and it was like night pod let's go so um
Starting point is 01:00:56 you want us all to do that handerson Tyler Stoltzvist last night oh yeah oh yeah immediately that reminds me of who was it Katrina your turn um we were talking about
Starting point is 01:01:16 Katrina cut off her arm so I think I made some joke about uh oh yeah all the the moonshine in Duluth where they live and I go honestly I know nothing about or their moonshiner or they are. She goes, honestly, it's not a lot
Starting point is 01:01:30 of that type of redneck. It's more of like, she's like, I'm trying to think of the different types of people there. There's like, there's definitely like the hipsters and then you have like
Starting point is 01:01:37 the people with like the tiny hats. And once again, I'm like, Jewish people? Do you mean Yamaka? I don't even totally know what you meant. Just like,
Starting point is 01:01:54 just like barely wearing like the tiny beanie. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Okay. But like when you're like kind of listing people groups in a row. You have your hillbillies, your rednecks, tiny hats. Tiny hat, people.
Starting point is 01:02:08 Big curved hats. Like, oh, yeah, cowboys. I love that, tiny hats. Yeah, that was great. That's pretty good. Cool. Any questions besides that one? Yeah, we did a reverse charades with Tyler last night.
Starting point is 01:02:28 And I was like, all right, put your arm out. I didn't even have anything that was trying to do. I was just trying to mess with him. He just goes to put your arm out. He just sticks it out like this. Small town, Kansas. Yeah, I guess so. You know, German Mennonite.
Starting point is 01:02:40 Am I right? So. Yeah. Yeah, that's how to listen. All right. Thank you, Gulf Shores. That's right, Ellis. I love me guys.
Starting point is 01:02:56 Oh, my dear. Ghost, I'm a spot. Two and five Canadians will hear the words, You have cancer. That's why every step and dollar raised matters.
