Hey, Ghosties, happy Wednesday.
Happy Wednesday.
Jake, happy Wednesday.
Howdy.
Good morning.
Hey, Wednesday.
What do you guys think about?
I think these days, you shouldn't, you shouldn't write non, you shouldn't say non-toxic as a brag about your product anymore.
I think, I think these days, that's just, that's not, that's not a brag.
It's just like every product should be non-toxic.
And if not, then it's, don't do that product.
Like, I think it's ridiculous these days like, you know, our cleaners are non-toxie.
It's like, well, good.
Just so you know, I don't walk around saying, hey, I'm a human and I breathe.
I don't know.
It's just like, it should be a normal thing.
I recently found myself feeling the opposite of this where I wanted, I don't know how much I've talked about in the podcast, but the dumb dog urine smell that I can't get out.
You want some toxicity in your life.
So I was like searching for like, all right, we've tried the non-toxic.
I'm ready to like get some deat in there, basically.
Yeah, okay.
It's always like, I want something called toxic.
Like, I'm looking for like, let's make sure we get it.
And I didn't really know how to find it.
Yeah, okay.
So when it comes to like cleaners and stuff that are like extreme, that's fine.
But I think everyday shampoo and stuff should just be assumed that it's not going to kill you.
Yeah.
Like I don't think you should be bragging like, hey, FYI, like our soap is non-toxic.
It's like, I think that everyone should be just like, that should be the industry standard by now.
Yeah.
I saw, I think I was traveling somewhere and I needed to buy some shampoo.
So I'm like at Walgreens and it's like, hey, this is plant-based shampoo.
I was like, is that what it normally is?
Or is this special?
I've never really thought.
I've never really thought of where the shampoo comes from before.
Okay.
I guess plant would be good.
I guess that's non-toxic.
Yeah.
I don't know.
That's a good question.
Normal shampoo do they just, it just cook up some substance in a lab, I guess?
Probably to an extent.
I don't know.
But,
but like,
yeah,
I think,
I think it's fine to be like,
hey,
FYI,
this,
this oil that you're putting in your car
is toxic if you drink it.
Like,
FYI.
Like, that's,
that's,
got it.
Like,
hey,
FYI,
this thing that is going to take out,
you know,
a ridiculous amount of smells in your house.
You probably shouldn't be in your house
for like four hours after you,
like a bug bomb.
I understand.
Those things are toxic.
Like,
got it.
Yeah.
It's called a bomb.
Like,
got it.
So write toxic on it then.
That's fine.
But otherwise,
just surely it's not going to be toxic.
Yeah, and don't even make a non-toxic bug bomb.
Like, there just needs to be things that are like,
FYI, this is a toxic industry,
this is non-toxic industry.
Like, I don't think you need to be bragging about FYI,
our household cleaners are non-toxic.
It's like, well, just make them all non-toxic.
Or just say, like, these are the extreme stuff.
You got to like, kind of like,
you know how like suit a fadze behind a glass window at the store.
Yeah, behind the counter.
Yeah, it's like, hey, that's the windex that you need,
you know, an ID because you can't.
get too much of
Yeah, because there is a roundabout way
to make meth with it.
Uh, uh, oh, oh, I think this tight
beat means that it's going down
with some random thoughts in white meat too.
Then West best friends eating fast food on repeat.
So come along.
Let's have some fun and go ahead.
Get on your feet because it's a ghost
from a podcast.
Anyway, happy Wednesday.
Hey, happy Wednesday.
A couple days ago, I just wanted a little coffee.
like what's near me, go.
And then I get to the menu of the coffee shop and the drive-thru.
And I'm like, where am I?
I went to some sort of like right-wing coffee shop.
And they have like a great menu.
Honestly, I wrote this down like a month ago.
This is when it happened.
So I can't really remember.
But I'm pretty sure it was like, do you want like the 1776 latte?
If not, we have the like right to bear arms quartado.
Oh, my.
It's like, hey, no word.
You know, it's like, it was a, and then I looked, it was called like black rifle coffee or something.
I was like, oh, wow, I didn't even like notice that.
You never heard of black rifle before?
No, I don't know anything about it.
I didn't know they had like actual stores.
Oh, yeah.
They have like the Charlie Kirk Cortado.
Seriously.
It's called that?
No, that would not surprise me.
That would not surprise me.
No, black coffee is like, have you heard of black coffee or black rifle?
Sorry.
I've heard of both.
No, actually, I have not heard of black. I have not heard black rifle before.
Okay, maybe it's just my, my segment of the internet. But like, I think it's like a very popular conservative coffee company.
Interesting. Yeah, I had no idea. I was like, oh, sweet, that's actually pretty nearby. They got a drive-thru. I'll go now. And yeah, you get there. Yeah, it's just like. Really? I've only heard of like them selling online or maybe like in grocery stores and stuff. So they had, it was like, do you want, we have like small, medium or like Trump's third term.
I mean, there's certain things.
It's like, that's cool that you're a conservative coffee company.
Just be a conservative coffee company that doesn't like shoehorn that into everything.
Like, yeah, like maybe run your shop with like traditional values.
Sure.
Put an American flag out front or something.
Yeah. Hire your son.
Yeah.
Like stay with your wife.
No.
But like, yeah, you don't have.
don't think you have to be like, okay, we're having the, yeah, whatever, you know.
I'm trying to see now what.
9-11 was an inside job, you know.
Yeah, that's the I miss Dick Cheney, you know, latte.
But I think they do do a lot of like, like, they call their coffee like flavors and stuff,
like extreme things too.
Like the espresso is like a dark roast is like, you know, the double barrel or I don't know
stuff like that.
Like, they're very, like, gun-driven.
I obviously made a bit about this a little bit.
But, oh, here it is.
Okay, I finally found it.
I've been, like, Googling their menu.
I'm like, did I just make all this up?
No, I found it.
You could order the Liberty Bell, the 1776, Betsy Ross, jet fuel.
Talk about 9-11 was an inside job.
Jet fuel doesn't burn steel beams, is what this one is called.
The Betsy Ross is like, I don't know.
I don't know if I need that one in there.
I mean, she's awesome.
But like, do some more recent ones, you know?
Name it after a man.
Yeah.
Thank you.
That's what I was trying to think.
Yeah.
I knew where you were going to.
Yeah.
Francis Scott Key maybe or something like that.
I don't know.
Like something more recent like that.
That's pretty funny that you just like, so what did you order?
You get like a little, I don't know.
like just beef b b what are the beast b5 bomber be yeah it's like an extra shot of espresso
in there bean five bomber yeah bean five what is it what's not a b5 what is it a b what is it a b2
b2 thank you it's like that's it people are laughing at us right now i think if there can be a b2
why can't there be other bees thank you we don't and we probably don't know about them that's what
you can say when it's together well yeah we don't know about it you think there's only two bees
Yeah.
I remember when I thought B12
just a vitamin.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Where do you think
they get those vitamins?
Do you think they're non-toxic?
No, they get from Jet Fuel.
That's pretty funny though.
Yeah, just go into this place and be like,
well.
Because like there's probably plenty of liberal coffee shops that aren't
just excessively like shoving it down your throat
with the names of the coffee.
They might be like decorating a certain way,
but it's not like they're trying to be like
the inclusive
cappuccino
or something like that.
You know what I mean?
They're not really going that far with it.
Yeah.
But I will say from memory,
it was very good.
Okay.
Would go back.
Would, yeah, would have again.
Good to know.
Fun.
Okay.
Do you want to see,
do you want to hear about your
Elitha house?
Yeah, what's going on?
Okay.
Let me just copy and paste
a few things real quick.
He's going to take just a second.
Copy?
I'm just going to send you these screenshots.
This is from my aunt Cindy who lives two streets away from you.
She said, hey, do you hear this about Jake's house?
So this first screenshot,
this woman or this man, sorry, that posted it.
Apologies for the eyesore that is construction directly across from the pool.
Prior to closing, the inspector found water damage surrounding the windows.
Turns out the entire wall was done with no house wrap slash moisture barrier or window tape.
So it has turned into full demo.
and rebuild.
Moving the timeline along as quickly as possible.
Our move in as well as demo and reframing
and dry in was Monday.
Drywall day one was Tuesday.
Additional standing and painting is Thursday.
Then masonry soon after.
Should we looking pretty much back to same after,
as before, ASAP.
And so he's asking all these questions about HOA.
And so, yeah, I saw that.
And then let me send you a few other pictures of it.
What?
Yeah, man.
So you were really shady salesman.
What?
I sold this.
Turns out the entire wall was done.
Okay, it's not the whole house.
It's just one wall.
I think it's like basically Isaac's room, right?
That was where Isaac was, at least initially.
All right.
So can we pause and let me tell you also that I, so in the inspection, this came up.
There's some dry rot.
Okay.
Or it looks like wet rot in that room.
So I was like, I really just want to get this across the line.
So we agreed to some kind of thing of like we got three different estimates.
They all came in around $8,000.
Got it.
I was like, you know what?
We almost repainted the outside of the house and the inside of the house.
That would have been more than that.
I'm glad we didn't.
I'll just put that money towards fixing this.
And it was like, I will put $8,000 in escrow.
And there is some kind of like rule where like they bidded it at $8,000.
But if it ends up being more, you are on the hook for up to $12,000.
Okay.
And just a few days ago, I remembered that.
And I was like, hey, whatever happened to that?
Like, did it end up costing $8,000 or $12,000?
I haven't seen any of that money back.
Was it less than $8,000?
Sure.
I think this is going to confirm that it is a bit more than the initial bid.
It looked a little expensive, yeah.
If the entire wall was built out, why didn't come up in my inspection when I bought it?
Yeah, who's your inspector, dude?
You got it inspected and it just didn't come up?
Not this.
Something fishy.
This was sent to me on July 29th.
This was a while back that my aunt Cindy sent me this.
So it was a while back.
But I was like, that is Jake's house.
I was like, oh my gosh.
And then I mentioned like, I was like, dude, did you see what was like going on with your house?
You're like, I had no idea.
I was like, oh, man, I got to talk to you about this.
I had no idea.
The entire wall was done with no like, yeah, house wrap.
No waterproofing or, yeah, I mean, that's, that's intense.
So they took it all completely, I mean, looks like down to nothing.
Like, yeah.
So.
Wow.
Geez, I need to go and like, I actually will.
I will go and apologize.
in person. Holy cow.
Yeah. I just feel bad.
Excuse for you to come to Kansas City. I will.
Anyway, that was kind of wild. I had
not heard about it, but then
my aunt Cindy said that and I was like, surely Jake
knows about this. Wow. That's crazy.
So does Isaac know about this? This is his old room.
I don't think I've, I haven't told him. So unless he's
on the HOA page for the, you know, neighborhood or something.
Wow.
Anyway.
Dang. That makes me feel not as bad.
about the severed chimney or whatever.
Yeah, you know, there's always honest mistakes.
What goes around comes around. It happens everybody.
Yeah, yeah.
All right, Gosses, real quick.
Unfortunately, we did lose Brad, and you might be wondering, what do you mean,
lose Brad?
Tyman's still here.
And aren't they in the same house that's not even being rented?
And I would say, hey, chilled.
Why would you have to mention that it's not being rented right now?
All right?
There's a lot of big signs in the neighborhood.
I feel like that's kind of irrelevant to what I'm trying to talk about.
Brad left because he was so darn thirsty for major oster.
Yeah, he just, he just dipped out of here.
And I said, Brad, Brad, where are you going?
And he said, don't get snappy with me, short stuff.
And when he resorts to name calling, I know there's only one thing he needs.
And it's some coffee for Main Street Roasters.
So that's where he's at.
He'll be back just a little bit.
But he didn't want me to tell you to get your coffee from MagerOasters.com.
So you don't get snappy with people that are shorter than you in your life.
And to take 10% off with the promo code.
GRKC.
Time when I'm missing anything else or is that what he said?
I was just going to say, that's all true.
I saw it all happen.
If I may just butt in, yeah, that's correct.
Yep.
I can be a second witness.
This is all, this all happened.
All right, Brad's got his major roses.
All right, he's back.
He's back.
Here he is.
Oh, wow.
That actually...
Whoa.
How did you do that?
That was actually kind of crazy.
I was thinking we would just go back to the episode
and then he walked into the room
without headphones on.
There's no way he could have known that.
Now that's a Luke Robertson magic trick bonus sponsor.
Brad, that was pretty cool what you did.
I don't know.
You can't hear it now.
Yeah, I have the headphones.
Other thing I teased last episode, some Tyler Tong conspiracy theories.
All right.
Tell me if you heard any of these and if you haven't,
tell me what you think they mean because honestly,
I don't remember what many of them mean now.
Honestly, I wrote them down as things to talk about with Tyler in person at Gulf
Shores and then we never did.
I think initially I was just like, hey, can you tell
us some ocean conspiracy theories. Anything you can think of with that. Have you heard something
called a doomsday fish? You heard about this time? Uh, yeah, no, time and I, we know, time and I
know it. Go ahead. Uh, we, this actually came up. Time and I were talking about this recently.
Yeah. What was that? Remind me what I was telling you about it?
Smart. Yeah. I'll remind you and then once you, once you,
Once you kind of remember it, then you just stop me wherever I, you need to.
I think I'll still forget.
Totally blanking on the doomsday fish for some reason.
So this is basically the government knows about a fish that could help us in the event of like an apocalypse.
So like, you know, a lot of people wonder about like the Old Testament story of Jonah and the whale.
Was that a literal whale?
Was he actually in there?
How long was he in there?
How is this possible?
Oh, what happened?
Oh, yeah.
It was no whale.
Oh, yeah.
It's doomsday fish.
It was a doomsday fish.
They're actually...
Well, yeah, some people say,
people argue about, like,
oh, people say, oh, it was a whale that swallowed Jonah,
but if you read the actual text,
especially if you go back to the original,
like, Greek or Hebrew or whatever.
Yeah, whatever it would be at that time.
I could tell, as you were thinking, like,
is it Greek?
It might have been Aramaic, then,
I think, for the Jonah story.
So if you go back to the original Aramaic,
it's fish.
and they didn't have the word for Doomsday then, obviously.
No.
They just had whale.
And so it's not just like, hey, that's nice.
Jonah had a cozy, you know, few nights in a whale.
No, no, no.
The elite, the Bezos, the Zuckerbergs, the people, you know,
the deep state who run the world, that is where they're going in this state of,
in the event of nuclear war.
They have this giant fish that they can live in.
It could support several families, many communities.
Yeah.
It exists.
They waterproof the walls there, right?
They waterproof the walls.
Yeah.
And there have been reports of, like, seeing this fish, like, obviously, like very deep,
like Mariana Trench type area.
It's like in the depths where there's no light, hard to see.
This fish actually lives at Table Rock Lake.
He's just outside of Branson.
It's pretty deep lake, though.
That's good.
Okay.
Mariana Trench was another thing on the list.
The Dube's a fish in the very bullet form.
bullet point form, I believe, from what I remember, is some, some fish is like washed up on
water multiple times. It's some crazy fish. And like every time it washes up on water,
some terrible event happens. And I guess recently it washed up on water in America, like a couple
weeks ago. Dolly part. Maybe, dude. You're telling me there's no correlation. Good point, dude.
So maybe it was DP. I feel like in the days of like internet, like the fact that we know everything
that happens constantly around the world.
Something bad happens every day.
Yeah, but I think these were like catastrophically bad, like tsunami or like some, some big event like
that.
I feel like usually they were washing up in Asia.
Jake, are you trying to tell us you don't buy the doomsday fish?
No, sorry, no.
I'm all in on the fish.
This is what's fun.
The fish is trying to tell us something.
I was talking to Tyler about this and I was like, you know, like every, not every time,
but I'll tell you the next one.
And then I'll say like, okay, on a scale of one to 10, like, how much do you believe him?
Or how much do you believe this?
He's like, probably like a six or a seven.
And I was like, are you serious?
Like, so the next one he gave me an example of.
And once again, I'm sorry at Tyler.
I'm sure I'm getting these examples completely wrong.
But there was a guy, I believe in America and Florida,
which of course, Florida man, you automatically just lose credibility.
I believe him.
That claims he was abducted, I guess is the right word.
Somehow like taken down to the depths of the ocean by dolphins.
and stayed down there for like either two and a half days, two and a half weeks.
I think the number is two and a half of something.
These dolphins talked to him.
These dolphins said things to him.
Right.
And then he just like resurfaced and was just like, yeah, just like came back.
Came back with a Chinese accent.
Yeah.
And I'm like, okay.
So how much do you believe that?
He's like, maybe like a six?
Are you kidding?
Like,
I don't, and I'm sure there's more.
It's a great delivery.
There's also like, like, I mean, there's all these like,
I can hear how you would say it.
Yeah.
Well, it's so hard, you know, anytime I ask Tyler anything,
it's so hard for him not to like really give caveats,
really give explanations, really give like all these different things to answer beforehand.
And I really try to challenge him of like,
just give me,
give me the first thing,
like give me the attention grabbing thing first.
Yeah,
give me a headline.
Answer my,
answer my first question and then show your work.
Yeah.
Rather than showing me all the work and then answer.
the question. So like, I think it's so hard for him to just be like, you know, like a six.
Yeah. What? But then he talks all about like, I, you know, I kind of see what he mean.
I understand because it's like he wants to put you into his perspective first of like all this
context that he probably knows about this or like. Especially with something ridiculous like that.
Exactly. He's like, well, here's all the other things I believe and right. How those things back
this up and all this stuff. So because there's like, I mean, there's all these conspiracy theories about
like underground or underwater world.
basically. Like, is it Atlantis?
Is that what's called? Or Atlanta's the one that's like,
that feels more like mythology,
but also, I don't know. I don't know.
And then there's Hollow Earth. Have you heard anything about Hollow Earth?
I've only heard the name of that theory.
Like Hollow Earth Theory or whatever.
Because I'm like, how in the world would somebody
go underwater and live for
for multiple days? Like that's obviously
impossible. He's like, well,
unless they're inside of some, you know,
inside of the Doomsday Fish.
Like, what? Yeah, maybe.
So I just Googled it.
just to try and learn more.
Did you find it?
I Googled Dolphin taking Florida man down ocean.
Okay.
The viral story about a Florida man being kidnapped by dolphins to build an underwater city is completely fake.
That was reported by the Kansas City Star randomly.
Whoa.
I trust him.
Do you?
Maybe like a six.
Life rifle wouldn't.
Yeah.
Okay.
Huh.
The post claimed the dolphins forced him to sketch blueprints in the sand for an underwater city.
Dude.
Is this what you heard?
It's pretty funny because I don't remember.
Something like that is, it's ridiculous enough that it really makes me want it to be true.
Tyler's like writhing right now listening to this, like not able to defend himself.
He drew him in the rocks.
The sand would have just been stirred up.
It was in the water.
Okay.
Okay.
No.
So.
Yep.
So what do you have to understand?
That was good.
Yeah.
Tong,
tong, tong, tong, tong.
another one. I mean, I've heard of this
Megalodon. You heard about Megalodon? Oh yeah, big shark, huge tooth.
Yeah, apparently like the conspiracy or the whatever is, I think
that there's like, it's trapped in a cage in off of shore
in Massachusetts. I'll tell you where it's at.
Branson. Table Rock, right?
Everything leads back to Table Rock. Most everything's in there.
Why do you think they call it Table Rock, huh? Right?
Think about it.
He eats at that.
Table.
Because I was, like,
I was going to say,
if the,
if the,
if the,
right.
The earth is one big.
Oh.
Yeah.
I was going to say,
if the theory is just like
that megalon still exists,
it's like,
okay, sure.
But they caught him
and they're hiding him.
For what reason
are they hiding them?
Who knows?
I don't know.
He's going to eat the blue,
the doomsday fish.
Maybe.
And they can't have that.
Who knows?
Um, another one, this one's a little bit darker.
Have you heard about the Vanderbilt swimming pool?
No.
Nope.
You know where the water in that pool used to be?
Megalodon's nostrils.
It's rock like.
Something about the Illuminati, I think, or, you know, something like that where it's like,
you get kind of initiated with something down there.
There's like the Vanderbilt's have this swimming pool.
Like the Vanderbilt family has this swimming pool way down.
I believe in one of their estates or something like that.
It's pretty sketchy.
That type of stuff I buy, but it's less fun to talk about.
Yes, exactly.
It's like, ah, this one's just kind of darker, but it's on the list.
So then the Mariana Trench, I don't really know what that is, except for it's just really deep.
Yeah.
Right?
You had marinera sauce?
Yes.
Almost every day.
It's different than that.
Yeah.
Nothing alike.
It's like a huge, it's not like that?
No.
You really threw me off when you asked then.
I don't really understand why you asked.
They're spelled kind of similar letters.
And both liquid.
So if something's spelled the same, you're going to give me that as the thing from now on,
then you're going to throw me off the scent.
And I'm not going to...
Well, maybe they will have something to do with each other next time.
Well, now I'm really confused.
Okay.
Like if I bring up Table Rock Lake and I go, oh, you ever heard of...
Marinerer sauce?
Label talk. Spank?
No.
Oh, dang. That's too bad.
Exactly same thing.
And then...
This last one, like, it's almost like, he's just, he's just got a different world than us with this stuff.
Like, and maybe you guys are in it too, but I'm not at it.
Like, you know, he's like, you know, there's always like this one and like the 9-11 one and
Donald Trump time traveler one.
I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa, go back to the Donald Trump.
Have you heard this?
No.
I've never heard of Donald Trump being a time traveler.
I've maybe, maybe seen something about this.
I mean, it was like there's some picture that people like think that he was in the 1800 or something
like that. Yeah, I don't remember exactly what it is, but it's like, it's like people talk about
this crazy Uncle Donald from back in the day or something. Yeah, I've seen a video of this actually.
Have you? It's kind of insane. Do you remember more details? Because I don't, I just remember
there's like some book written that describes this figure that seems really similar to Donald Trump,
but it's kind of weird. Okay. Yeah. So, I don't know. So he's a time traveler, space time continuum
stuff. I'd say maybe like a six.
I want to hear, I want to hear Tong, like, does he still think it's a six out of ten after seeing Kansas City Star article?
Here's a question.
I'm going to ask for the group, can you believe in time travel and also believe in God?
Oh, okay.
He had, once again, this is like probably beyond like Tyler's like now, just like, oh gosh, why are we to continue to talk about?
Let's just get him on the pod sometimes.
Yeah, I'm sure I'm just like representing him so poorly at all the things he's talked about.
he has some kind of theory.
And once again, I don't know if it's what he believes or if it's just a theory.
So I'm trying to cover him a little bit here.
But he almost feels like there's like an element of time travel within Christianity.
Of like you can pray for things and, you know, disciples in the past because God transcends time.
I think is, did you hear him talk about this at all?
I really did.
Isn't that more of a justification for?
like, is it in Catholicism that you like pray for the saints?
I think it was that kind of thing that he was like kind of trying to like give perspective to
could be, could be. I think.
That's interesting. I mean, like, it's very true that God's outside of time.
But the people you're praying for aren't. They're already dead.
Okay. Fair.
Okay, went from like a six to a three.
I see where you're coming from there, Jake. Yeah, that's a pretty straight thing.
Okay, you did your homework before this episode.
All right.
All right.
So you've heard of this one.
All right.
He trumped us with that one.
Yeah, he reads his books.
Yeah, I don't know.
And that was one that I was like, I'm not going to even bring that one up because I don't
even understand exactly what he's talking about.
And I'm sure that one, that one felt a little more like, you know, whatever.
But like, I don't know.
I don't know how that works.
But God outside of time still exists when they weren't dead.
Do you think of that?
You think of that, Jake?
Let's think about Taylor Rock thing.
But I don't think that I don't think it's going to turn somebody that was stoned in the Bible to all of a sudden not be stoned.
Right.
Do you think of that?
Yeah.
So I don't know.
I don't know.
Yeah.
That one's interesting.
Time travel in general.
Wow.
Once again interrupting.
And once again, uh, nobody's here.
Brad left.
Time and left.
I think Brad went out to go get more coffee.
But timing said he had to run because he was just.
so darn hungry for some good ranchers meat. And I said, time and I think we're almost,
I think we're almost done recording. And he was like, no, I need something with no added hormones.
I was like, right now, want to you just like drink water or something? He's like, no, it has to be
from an animal. And I said, like milk. And he said, not like milk. I want to chew it. I want to chew it.
I want to chew it good. And so he left to go eat some good ranchers right now in the
middle of recording. That's how much he loves it. He loves it. It's all in America.
from the farmers to the packagers, to the truck drivers,
to the person who puts the dry ice in your box and FedExes it to your door.
It's all in America and it's all good for you.
So get yours today.
They got all sorts of boxes, all sorts of different combinations you can do.
Use the promo code GRKC to take a discount.
And I think, how, I think timing's joining us now.
So we'll get back to the episode.
Oh!
No headphones!
How does this...
What?
How what...
I'm ready for the Good Ranchers ad.
I thought...
Luke Robertson, is this at you again?
Sorry, Tim. I may need to check my diaper real quick.
Have you heard about this?
This isn't even... I don't even think this is a conspiracy, but just in general,
the idea of like space travel being so
beneficial, not for just like going up and going to Mars or whatever,
but like you can probably take a space fly.
from L.A. to Australia
and it would take like 45 minutes.
What do you mean by spaceflight?
Go straight up, get out of our atmosphere?
I believe so. Like a rocket.
Like, that's almost more of the benefit.
That's like why people are getting excited about this
potentially more than anything.
So if you can find a safe way to leave our atmosphere,
let the earth spin, you fly over, drop in on Sydney.
Good night. I think so.
45 minutes?
That's insane.
Yeah, that's pretty nice.
Once again, we're talking about all this stuff with like a two out of ten knowledge on any of it.
So it's like it's pretty, pretty dicey information.
You ever like five, ten years ago there was rumors of like, I think Elon Musk was going to build essentially like a roller coaster from Kansas City to Columbia to St. Louis.
It was some kind of like tube or something.
And it was like this is going to transform commuting.
It's got to be like 30 minutes to go here or 15 minutes, I think.
I remember like hearing that it was going to be
there was going to be some form of transportation
that was like the bank tubes.
Yes.
Like send your money up and like pneumatic tubes.
Yeah.
And it was like so many excited.
The Columbia housing market's about to go up
because now people can live in Columbia
but they can still work at St. Louis and Kids City easier.
Oh no.
And it never happened but I believe the 45 minute thing.
I do love the idea of like
and they're going to start that initiative
in Columbia, Missouri, dude.
Like, that's what's always so funny.
Sometimes it is like maybe it's a little bit cheaper to do those test markets in the Midwest versus in New York or whatever.
But like, yeah, I remember when Mary Kate and Ashley Olson, like, almost enrolled in Missouri State.
That didn't happen.
Yeah, nice try.
Yeah.
You backed out of your enrollment once you realized they weren't coming.
Anyway, those are the conspiracies I have here on my list.
But it was, I mean, it was like, you could tell it just like scratch the.
surface of like, the things that he knows and the things that he loves to talk about.
We started to scratch the surface on one car ride and I was like, I think I went by,
he was offhandedly like, I could go on about this for like four hours.
I was like, let's do it sometime.
He never got the chance.
So one of these days.
Anyway, yeah.
He said he would just like, for a while, he and a few of his friends that loved to talk
about this stuff would just have like a standing lunch date every Friday and just like,
all right, what have you been learning lately?
What have you?
And so honestly, that's a fun podcast right there.
It's just every Friday just sitting down and talking.
But yeah, I don't know.
It's hard to know how much to learn about that stuff
because it's like, what are we even going to do if we know about this stuff?
You know?
Yeah.
So.
I hope the dolphin one's real.
I really hope that one's real.
Still got a little hope for the dolphin one.
Yep.
And I feel like everything else I could take or leave,
but the dolphin one, I really hope that one happens.
I mean, just the ocean in general is crazy because it's so undiscovered, und explored.
Yeah.
So, I don't know.
I'm sure there's stuff down there that we don't know about.
I don't know if it's conspiracy stuff, but it's like there's probably creatures down there that.
Yeah.
What's going on now?
You know, anyway, not for us to know.
Not for us to know, dude.
Don't even ask, dude.
So.
It was.
I'll just time travel ahead, learn about it.
come back, tell you guys.
Yeah.
Easy.
Somebody let us know.
I got a couple things here.
One, I just want to continue giving shoutouts to the ghosties in our community.
I feel like the last like two or three weeks of my life.
It's been fun to be like a, what's the best way we word this?
Rather than like a giver to the ghostrunners community, like I've been like a receiver of the ghost fronters community.
You know, just like in different times.
It's just like, this is awesome.
So many people are praying for us and they're sick.
enough stuff and they're texting me and they're messaging me and this is awesome what we've built
and it's like sometimes it takes like that flip of like rather than like providing it you know or
helping like make it happen like almost just like sitting back and receiving it even to the point
where I someone in session one made a comment to me they're like oh yeah I love listening to
ghost runners because I don't feel bad after listening to it like some podcasts you just like feel
bad or it's negative or whatever like ghost runners I just feel good after I listen to it and then
when I left Gulf Shores to come back
and driving so many, you know,
all over to the hospital and back.
You know, I found myself wanting to listen to something
and like, I don't want to listen to anything other
than like something that's just like happy and fun.
And it really put me in like the listener's shoes.
I'm like, that's all we got to do.
Who cares about, you know,
this was supposed to be a comedy podcast,
but I think it is kind of turning into like more of like a Ted Lasso type thing
or just like, just make people feel good.
Just don't leave them feeling worse than they were
when they started the episode.
Yeah, that's great.
Yeah, it's been a revolutionary time for me.
That's fun.
Yeah, you're like, you're like, oh, after, what has it been?
Seven years now?
Seven years.
I think we're positive people.
I think I know what this podcast is now.
Huh.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It is fun because it's like people love to compliment us on all that stuff.
And of course, we are somewhat doing it on purpose, somewhat being positive on purpose.
But I think it's also just, we just like being positive.
don't know. It's not like we're like, hey, don't ever complain. Do your best. Don't, don't ever say
something negative. It's like, no, we have negative things that happen. And we, we talk about them.
But it's like, we don't dwell on those things. We laugh about those things for the most part.
Like, you know, or we like get past them or like whatever. I don't know. So I love that, dude.
Yeah. And then another thing to piggyback off that, it's been kind of a crazy time to go from like,
all right, leaving the getaway,
announcing we're pregnant,
announcing the water breaking,
announcing the pregnancy on Instagram,
having the baby very quickly afterwards,
and then my birthday.
It's been just a lot of inbound stuff.
Yeah, happy birthday.
Hard to keep track of it all,
hard to respond.
I haven't responded to most people.
But I'm trying to at least see all of it.
Rachel and I are going through our messages
and everything on every platform.
Rachel starts digging through
the Facebook Messenger app
and starts digging through the request.
It's because she's like,
oh my gosh,
all these people have been saying nice things to me.
And she starts scrolling down.
And then I don't see her for a while and come back.
And she goes,
so you're never going to believe this.
I found multiple messages.
Two different volleyball coaches in 2019
asked me to come play professional volleyball in Europe.
Like one was in Spain and one was in France.
And I just never saw the messages.
Whoa.
I was like, I am so glad you did it.
Yeah, right.
How much would that have drastically changed your life?
Holy cow.
You wouldn't be there.
Yeah.
Yeah, I was like, I don't even know you should have told me this.
I think you should have kept this to yourself.
Gosh, I'm about to have panic attack.
Really?
Holy cow, she showed me the messages.
It was like, hey, what's up?
I'm the coach here in France.
We're in like the top league here and our setter just got injured.
Would you like to come play or something like that?
Wow.
That's crazy.
and you guys met in 21?
Yep.
Okay.
Dang, dude.
Yeah, she would have been over there, like, during COVID and everything.
I mean, who knows?
It's crazy.
That is, yeah, what do they call it?
Sliding Doors moments where it's just like, if something else would have gone different, you know,
this could have all been different.
Or, you know, every butterfly effect kind of stuff.
Butterfly doors.
Butterfly doors, Tesla moments, basically.
Yeah.
My dad, this is not the same thing at all,
but my dad was talking about Lewis and Clark today randomly.
He went to some, on some Columbia River cruise up in Washington, Oregon,
all this stuff.
You ever hear about their conspiracy theory?
No, but I bet there's some good ones.
Time it'll tell you when you're done.
Yeah, when you were just talking about it.
But, yeah, I guess there was some like altercation one time
with some Native Americans and they were about to kill Lewis and Clark in
and Chicagoie.
And then somebody like stepped in and was like, don't kill them.
a white person was really kind to me one time.
So you need to spare these people, basically.
It's like, what if that lady wasn't there?
Like, what would be of all of this?
You know, like, what would be of our nation?
You know?
Sliding doors.
But I'll just say, that's crazy about Rachel.
Lewis and Clark, they were like,
yeah, they came across like a bigger body of water than they'd ever seen.
And they're like, you know, okay, maybe see if it's fresh water.
So it'd be drinking water.
They were thirsty.
come to find out, they like wade into it and they meet these dolphins.
And they like they got brought down all the way to the bottom and like the dolphins
started talking to them. Really? And showing them they made them like draw blueprints for like
America in the sand. And if that, it's like a sliding door thing because if that would have never
happened, where would we be as a country? Where would we be? Yeah. Yeah. That was in Miami. Yeah.
So that's why you called Miami dolphins. I was telling Jake about that earlier today.
He was, his mind was blown. Just calling Jake to catching up about
that. I couldn't believe it. Yeah, it was like 7 a.m. my time. He called me. Yeah, before the podcast,
we were catching up about losing Clark. Oh. Oh, hey, Timon, did you mean to call me? Yeah,
all right. Well, sleep is pretty important right now. Is this important? Yeah. Yeah, actually.
It's about L&C. Timon, real quick, remind me, what do you own from Cozy Earth? I own three
crew necks. I can't remember what they're called.
but there's a green one and a cream one and a black one and I love them all equally.
When you say you can't remember what they are called, do you mean like the colors? Because I bet you nailed black.
Okay, well. Cream is probably cream, but the green one. I don't know. Some people have little disagreements about it.
Some people think we all see colors differently. I don't want to like.
That's what I'm saying. I know. I just don't want to come across too confident and act like I'm comparing colors to each other.
Yeah. And some brands do like to get kind of fancy and it's not just black. It's midnight silver.
exactly something apple would do i think
thoughts on the folding apple phone coming out soon
you hear about that only heard about it
haven't seen seems cool
they're really innovating it's cool that they thought of that
yeah it'll be interesting to see
I'll tell you what someone as far as I'm concerned they thought of it
is whatever viscos from bamboo is
that's a lot of what cozy earth sells especially their bed sheets
especially their joggers and a lot of sweatshirts
and just all of their lounge wear you know we're always pushing that
because that's we don't make any extra
extra money off of what specifically you buy.
That's just our personal recommendation.
Feels very good.
Talking about a Kureenck,
like you so much, bought another one,
like so much about another one.
Yep.
And I think I have two of those as well.
And those also might be the ones that are not in stock anymore.
So good luck, buy something.
It's all good from CoZEarth.
Figure it out.
All right.
Your adults, you got this.
CoZerut.com slash ghostrunners.
Gives us a little credit.
Use the promo code GRKC so you can take some money off.
And, yeah,
just have a blast poking around the site.
Get to poking.
Dude, can I talk about something that's completely unimportant
that people wanted to make important yesterday in my life?
Fantasy football.
We already did our draft for my family.
And whatever.
Yeah, normal draft, normal league.
And somebody last year at the end of the year
proposed some change to the way kickers scoring works.
We didn't change it yet.
And somebody brought it up yesterday
after the draft, like, hey, FYI, what if we,
what if we changed this kickers thing?
I know we talked about it last year.
And of course, I don't care one iota about this.
But somebody in our league and my family pipes up.
He's like, well, I don't think we should do it now.
I really drafted my kickers based off the other scoring of the league.
There's no way.
That's true, first of all.
Second of all, it doesn't matter one bit one way or the other.
Like the kicker, you can't predict kickers at all in fantasy football.
Like, it's not, it's not like, oh, I knew that this guy was going to be a great kicker,
and that's why I picked him based off these criteria.
And now that we're changing the scoring, he's going to get 1.3 points less.
And now my team's not going to win.
Like, it was just like, and people went back and forth for probably two hours,
like trying to come up with, like, data to support changing it.
But they were all, everyone was kind of passive.
Like, it doesn't really matter, but here's the data that would make it to where this is like,
you know, anyway.
Because all the kickers are good.
It's really, what determines it is like, does your offense get?
stopped on the 30-yard line a lot.
You get lucky.
Yeah, it's just, yeah, it's just situate.
And so it was like, we're really putting up a stink about this.
Like, who cares about this?
Okay, this is actually kind of crazy.
This is not a bit.
But the fact that we talk about conspiracies and then kickers right away,
literally yesterday, I saw a conspiracy theory about kickers.
I can't believe I didn't think about this the whole time,
does now.
Okay.
Have you seen this about the Patriots and Gillette Stadium?
No.
So I guess what, someone has, like, gone back and looked at the data
and looked at, like, the actual game.
film. So what they do, if you can imagine Harrison Butker, the chiefs are playing at the Patriots.
He's lining up for a 40-yard field goal. And just beyond his line of sight, just beyond the goalpost,
is the giant Jumbotron. Okay. And so what the Patriots do is the camera that is being displayed
on the Jumbotron is like composed in a way where now the goalpost are like different, you know,
they're like a skew from where they actually are in reality.
So they're like, you know, 10 feet to the left of what your eyes see.
And it's actually reversed.
So like the flags blowing are blowing the opposite direction of how the flags are blowing in the stadium.
Okay.
And so I think someone noticed that first like, hey, do other teams do this?
That's kind of a fun little like trick, I guess, like to maybe get the kickers like not focusing on the right goalpost.
And then they went and looked at the data.
And from like 2001 to 2019, I don't know why they started and stopped there.
Maybe it's just the Venetary era or something, but whatever.
They found that like they looked at opposing kickers, just kicking out away stadiums all over the NFL.
And they were by far worse at Gillette Stadium.
It was kind of crazy.
I'm curious.
Did you see, did they talk about like, did the Patriots kickers, did they change the angle for the Patriots kickers?
That's what I'd be curious.
I don't know if they went into that.
But yeah, I think it was the Belichick era, just like no stone was left on turn.
They used every advantage they could.
I honestly, I believe it.
Yeah.
Like, I believe that Belichick did that.
Like, he is so whatever that is, puppet master, like just, that's crazy.
I mean, yeah, why not?
It was a crazy.
So it's not even a conspiracy.
It's just like a true, they figure out an advantage here.
Yeah.
Yeah, using the Jumbotron against the other team.
Wow.
That's smart.
That's pretty cool.
Yeah.
Like, because yeah, even if it messes them up a little bit or they like they see it out of the corner of their eye, you know, this thing or like they see the flag going one way, you know, just messes with their mind.
Yeah.
Yeah. Or maybe they just lose focus for a few seconds. And like they still know where the go post are. But like, yeah, they they lost their focus for a little bit. That's the difference.
Because so much, I'm assuming kicking just like golf is like so minuscule. All you have to do is have a slight angle difference with the way you're punting that ball or, you know, kicking the ball to where it's like that makes such a.
big difference in the way it goes. And so that's pretty cool. No, I hadn't seen that. Yeah. Wow.
The more you know. Gosh, football, baby. I'm so excited for football to be back. So good.
If you're wondering about the Ghostrunners Fantasy League, I think it's already happened on the Facebook
group. Yeah, there you go. So sorry, I just got a little behind. By the time just came out,
I thought it'd be too close. So I'm sorry if you're one of those who is not on social media and you're only
listen to the podcast. Talk to Teddy about it. Yeah, I was going to say, you should be really
frustrated with Jake, voice your frustrations, send a Facebook message request. He'll see it in
seven years. So that's, yeah, I think everyone, everyone understands. I think if they don't,
let me know. I don't know. First, I know, I'll help them understand. I leave the getaway.
Now, a lot of reasons for people are upset. Dude, Jake's changed, man. Like, yeah, he has a kid now.
my goodness crazy dude um i left my mark on the uh nick you pretty much right away kind of just a
quick uh story i so i'm kind of a pump uh breast pump parts washing machine it's just kind of
what i do you know good for you yeah try to have kind of the cleanest ones in the hospital
try to take pride in uh what brand we rockin we medella medella yeah i think it's medella if we're
in the if we're in the spittle and then the um what's a
Spittle.
Oh, it's just short for hospital.
Oh.
Did you get that?
No.
Okay.
I was like, is that like a certain wing?
It's part of our house.
And then I think, I think Spectra, if we're at home.
If we're in the Casa.
Yeah, okay.
But part of it at the hospital is like, all right, clean them out, rinse them out,
yada, yada.
And then to sanitize them, you put them in this, like, bag.
Have you done this?
Put a little water in there.
You put them in a bag and then you microwave it.
Whoa.
Yeah.
What?
What?
that kind of the moisture in it kind of creates steam that sanitizes it.
News to me.
I don't know.
Okay.
All right.
So it's basically like a, it's like a nice Ziploc type material, but heavy plastic.
It's like the size of like a gallon bag.
And on it they wrote, I think, Coop, because didn't get that change.
Teddy came a little early when Rachel was planning on doing that.
So.
Sure.
Coupe, comma, breast parts is what is on the back of our microwave bag.
That's ours.
Yeah.
And my first.
You have a tattoo that says that, right?
What do you say?
I said, you have a tattoo that says that, right?
Sorry, go ahead.
And anyway, first time ever using it, I guess the, you know, they just written on it in Sharpie,
the bag falls over in the microwave.
So for three minutes, it's just going in there on its side.
And I take the bag out.
A little warm, by the way.
heads up on that.
And now printed on the bottom of the microwave, it just says,
Coop, comma, breast.
Left my mark pretty, pretty, that was like my first microwave there.
So every time I microwave now, I mean, it says it.
It's in black ink at the bottom of their microwave.
You literally left a mark.
Yeah.
That's amazing.
Yeah.
Oh.
I mean, there's worse things that could be left on there, you know.
Yeah.
I told a nurse.
She thought it was funny.
No one's wiped it off.
I was like, well, I kind of like it, so I'm going to leave it on there, too.
And once again, where are the other dad's microwave?
I'm the only microwave guy in the building, so it's kind of my microwave.
It doesn't smell like popcorn, you know.
What if I just catch a nourishes microwave or popcorn in there one night?
I don't know if you're supposed to be using it that way.
Isaac just texted me.
I have a massive favor to ask.
Can you come to China with me?
Yeah.
Oh. Okay. I'll figure out there.
Needs my truck.
Can we give a shout out to the ghosties listing who are going to be on the next season of Amazing Race?
Holy cow, dude. Yes? Yes. Yes.
That's awesome.
They, yes.
So she put up a big post on Facebook if you guys didn't see it.
Her and her sister are going to be on the upcoming season in The Amazing Race.
And she didn't even know about it five years ago.
We were the ones who told her about it.
that's so fun sliding glass butterfly doors
yeah dude it's crazy that it's like one thing of ours
gonna be on the amazing race but she's like i never even heard about it until jake and brad
said it would be a fun thing to to be on yeah that i mean that people are like are you
would you classify yourself as an influencer i'm always like no i'm not an influencer yes i'm an
influencer now i am influenced that person to go on amazing race yes that's amazing uh can we find her
name. Do you know it up top of your head? Up the tip of your tongue? I want to say,
my phone's dead. Chris. Krierson. Kirsten. Yeah. Timmons find it. Yeah. Um, that's so fun. And I can't
wait. I want to know when the season comes out. Yeah, we got to watch. I want to have watch parties. I want to
have like virtual parties with the ghosties. Um, shout out Katie Schultz. Shout out to the Schultz family.
premieres on CBS, September 30th.
It's going to be lit.
What day of the week is that?
September 30th.
That's one of those things I can never do
like mental math on.
Nope, we can have to go to Google Calendar.com.
Started Wednesday.
Get your Wednesdays.
Yeah, let's do it.
Let's watch as a ghosty community, September 30th.
What if they're only on for a week?
Oh, what if?
Hey, more than we've ever been on.
Amazing Race.
So they are.
I am really nervous that if I was on Amazing Race, I would get out the first week.
I know.
There is kind of part of that.
It's like,
just make it to like episode three.
Just like be a member.
Because at the very like final episode,
the finale,
they,
all the contestants like meet back up to like cheer on the people winning.
And you always see that one couple there.
You're like,
oh, I forgot about them.
You know?
So we said Katie is our name?
Yep.
Let's go, Katie.
Yeah.
It looks.
I can't wait.
Ah, Katie and Charlotte.
I want to hear, we got to get them on the pod and like hear all about everything
because I want to hear how it's different than what they're portraying just the whole experience.
We'd love it.
We really should.
Katie or Charlotte.
Hallor at us.
Katie and Charlotte.
The secret lies with Katie.
That's so fun.
What, I mean, Amazing Race is the answer still for you as far as like.
like if you could be on any,
uh,
game show or reality show or whatever,
like,
I guess so.
Yeah.
Because like,
family feud would be fun,
but you film that in an hour.
Okay,
what if you were a like,
20 episode regular on family feud?
That'd be pretty fun.
That still's not.
That still,
I mean,
Amazing race,
you get to go so many places.
But you have the risk of like,
oh,
we're done after,
you know,
two legs.
Amazing race would be so fun
And you know you be kind of
Like
You know looking to everyone
Just kind of knowing like
All right
We can beat them in a race
Right
Dude but that's what's so fun
Is that every once in a while
The dad who has like
Knee issues is just dominating people
It's like how did they win
Yeah I honestly haven't really
Watch this since high school
But they do a good job from what I remember of
Like it's not all physical stuff
Like there's like yeah you get in a taxi
And they drive you somewhere
To where you didn't have to a mental
challenge. And you have to know how to
navigate maps and whatever, all the stuff.
Oh, it's so fun, dude.
Oh, football
and amazing race in the same month.
You kidding me?
It's going to be electric.
Katie and Charlotte. Let's go.
Let's go.
Yeah, how we got to
ghosties come up with some ideas of how we like
really rally behind these girls.
And Katie and Charlotte, maybe just DM us on the side.
Like, don't get too excited about
I don't know.
Anyway,
so fun.
My computer has 9% battery.
So we're on computer battery watch right now.
Battery watch.
There's no way of charging it.
Hey.
Not an outlet around.
That's all right.
Oh, and I also need to go.
Crap.
I just look at the time.
What else do you want to talk about time?
Before we leave this mug,
leave this John.
Oh, nothing important.
All right, Jake.
Timon's ringing a pink monster.
Oh yeah, he loves those.
I saw his car one day.
There's like 20 in the...
Really, Simon?
Wow.
That might not say non-toxic on it.
Yeah.
I don't see it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Good for you, man.
Thanks.
All right.
Well, we can do a shorter episode of...
Dimension within 20 years.
From what I hear.
Sounds like surround sound over here, dude.
Go ahead, Jake.
Go ahead.
I'll leave you with this.
I don't think I've said this before.
We've been weighing Theodore in the metric system.
Teddy Grams.
Oh!
That's a hit.
That's a hit around the NICU.
Boom.
Between...
2200 Teddy grams.
Put it on the board.
Yes.
We got grams on the board.
That's fun.
Teddy Graves is great.
I heard or I saw somebody's comment like will you please have Jake read
his name in your old timey voice
it is funny I saw that comment too so I need to reply to that with a video that
Rachel's take it so to get in the NICU you have to like pick up the phone and someone has to let you in
oh sure and I think one time it was just like late at night and for whatever reason
yeah feeling goofy yeah I'm here to see
Theodore Potter oh how I miss his touch that gentle pressure
what I would do to see it again.
So there's that.
TP.
T.P.T.
I think Ellie Jennings said TPP, he's dynamite.
The subtle hand motion for, I guess, dynamite.
All right, I got to wrap this up.
I got to get my two-year-old son
to put him down for a nap.
That boy is giving me some fits these days.
on the best way possible.
All right.
Love you guys.
Thank you for listening to our Teddy Talk.
