Starting point is 00:00:00 Good morning. Boom! Timon, can we hear some energy, please? Thank you. Five big booms from Timon. I haven't thought about those people. I wonder how they're doing. Was the guy's name Rizzler?
Starting point is 00:00:16 Rizzer was their little friend. They were, what was his name? Big, it was big something. Big. AJ and Big Justice. Big Justice. Big Justice. Does that mean like he loves justice so much?
Starting point is 00:00:32 Surely. Yeah. Why else would they name him that? Yeah. Yeah, big justice. No one wants there to be fairness and reciprocation for actions more than this guy. Yeah. I'm a fan of naming people after just nice attributes.
Starting point is 00:00:51 Yeah. Justice, hope. Big hope. Love. I don't know about love. Love's too much. I like name Grace. Grace is great.
Starting point is 00:00:59 Big Grace. Why did we draw the line at love? Because I don't do people name people love? I don't think so. Do they? Well, there's Dejan love. Famous famous football player. Speaking of fictional people, the female love interest in the show you,
Starting point is 00:01:14 she was a love season's two and three. Okay, there you go. So you're right. Tell me. I submit. Egg on your face. It feels like they are almost always girl names, though. You're like grace, hope, faith.
Starting point is 00:01:28 Justice is a good boy one, though. Yeah. Justice. concrete. Litigation. Litigation's good. Yeah, due process. What up?
Starting point is 00:01:38 It's me, due process. This is checks. I'm balances. Yeah, twins. Siamese twins, checks and balances. What are some other good? Just like... Just attributes.
Starting point is 00:01:53 Liberty. Liberty's not... It hasn't gotten to the name. Too super popular. If Derek has a fifth kid, it'll be named Liberty. Yeah, for sure. Do you see Derek ever, Tyvin? You run around?
Starting point is 00:02:05 Not really. I'm going to see him, I think, on Monday. We're doing a bubbly commercial with Trey. So that'll be fun. But I haven't seen Derek since probably the comedy special. So, I don't know. Old Derek. What a guy.
Starting point is 00:02:21 I love Derek. Freedom. Yeah. Bill. Bill is already a name. Bill, Bill of Rights. You know. Bill of Rights.
Starting point is 00:02:32 Okay. Yeah, Bill's a good one. Justice. There's not many other names like Justice. I know. It's kind of interesting. Really like serious name. Yeah. In big justice?
Starting point is 00:02:49 This guy? Yeah. I think you guys like this. So the company that's, you know, suing us and everything, Yola, they're coming out with a new paddle here in like a few weeks. Boo! Dang it! I just, I spas.
Starting point is 00:03:10 I try to hit the timing. I got to memorize my colors here. But it's called like PowerFX, and every time they tease it, it's like PowerFX, 9. It's like the month and day it's going to drop. And every time I see it, it just looks like a radio station. Power FX 93-5 or whatever. And so anytime we talk about our.
Starting point is 00:03:32 group chat. I just send a quick voice memo as a radio DJ. And I think Scott and I enjoy it. I don't know if anyone else does, but we're having a good time sending voice moos back and forth. Powerfx, 935. This is commercial free radio 80s, 90s, and today. That was Al-Langley. Don't touch that dial. And that Leonard Skinner's song just finished off a 90-minute classic rock block here on PowerFFX. A rock block. The hot The hot five at five
Starting point is 00:04:04 Coming up here in five minutes Don't touch that dial Power 935 Uh oh Ooh I do I think this tight It means that it's going down With some random thoughts And white meat too
Starting point is 00:04:15 Midwest best friends Eating fast food on repeat So come along Let's have some fun And go ahead get on your feet Because it's a ghost A ghost ruff podcast So that's fun
Starting point is 00:04:24 So that's fun So that's fun. I love being a radio DJ. I will become one someday. Shock jock. You heard of it? No. No?
Starting point is 00:04:47 Shock, what is that? I thought that's another name for like radio DJ. It's a black rifle thing. Oh, timing. Can we, I heard Jake crack open a can. Let's get into this real quick. Let's find out how this is.
Starting point is 00:05:00 Jake, you ever had tonic water straight up? Best choice tonic water. All right. Here's the background. What is best choice? Is that Aldi or something? Yeah, it's, no, I, I wanted to say Walmart. Walmart, isn't Walmart great value, though?
Starting point is 00:05:15 100%. It sure is. Shoot, I don't know. I have some thoughts. Just on the packaging alone, if you're best choice, you don't need to let people know you're the cheapest option with your packaging. How do you do that, though? I think you could put a little effort into it.
Starting point is 00:05:31 How do you, how do you, how do you do that? I mean, it's just so bad. I feel like it's intentional. I feel like a YouTube thumbnail right now. Yeah, do a little like clicking other things on there. Yeah, there you go. Yeah, hold on. I can't hear it.
Starting point is 00:05:52 Didn't hear people. You don't have what it takes to be one of these creators. You need better nails. I'll keep working. Yeah, just come. So we're recording at the flip house, one of the flip houses. And I bought this house from an old man. who, you know, is living in a different home now, obviously.
Starting point is 00:06:11 And I just bought it, like, with stuff still in it. And there's a fridge in the garage that I put a bunch of Coke Zero in a while back. Coke Zero is now depleted after, you know, some time. And I said, sorry, timing. In between episodes. Sorry, timing, no Coke Zero. I was like, there is this tonic water, though. So it's not only the tonic water straight up,
Starting point is 00:06:32 it's also tonic water that expired in... What did we say? June of... Let me just double check. Make sure that you got the right month. I'm not finding it. It's the year 2020. June of 2020.
Starting point is 00:06:46 Yeah. So... It's on the very bottom. And I said, you got to try it. You got to see what it. June 12th. 2021. Okay, so the 12th.
Starting point is 00:06:54 So like halfway through the month. No, 2020. Yeah. Wow. That expired a long time ago. Have you ever had tonic water, Jake? No, I don't really know what it is. I didn't either.
Starting point is 00:07:02 I would describe it as a little bit more of a sour sprite. Almost like fresco with calories. Oh, I didn't think it would have much flavor. This is a sour drink. It has like 120 calories. It's like a lot of sugar in there. That's what I said. I was like, it seems like if it has water in the title,
Starting point is 00:07:16 it shouldn't taste like much. You know? I learned about tonic water for the first time when we did the Illuminosity, atrocity party because I learned that tonic water glows in black light. And so we would shake it up and then it would explode everywhere.
Starting point is 00:07:32 It looked awesome. Whoa. So, and then I would chucked. some of it. Baby powder also kind of shows up in black light. That's what we would use. Yeah, we use that laundry detergent. Some certain laundry detergents were good.
Starting point is 00:07:44 So, is tonic water what Scott will always order? No, that's like just sparkling water, I think. Oh yeah, he gets club soda. Yeah, yeah. And that's why I thought tonic water was, just a different, like, name for club soda. I was like, oh, no, this is like,
Starting point is 00:07:59 this is full, you know. This is commercial free radio. Wow. Let's try it, time. Let's see what you got here. Let's see you guys can hear this. Better. I'll give you a nine out of ten.
Starting point is 00:08:13 Oh, yeah. That's pretty good. Yeah. It doesn't smell like suspicious. Surely it can't be anything. I know what suspicious smells like. Yeah. All right.
Starting point is 00:08:26 See how it tastes. Zero of ten. Zero to ten. It might taste a little suspicious. Oh. Maybe just a little bit. He can't have them the suspicious. But I feel like I need a second sip to really know, but I'm afraid it's the aftertaste that tastes a little bit like something you shouldn't drink.
Starting point is 00:08:59 Like a double A battery. Like the first half tastes decent, like not amazing, but it still feels like you're supposed to drink it. And then the aftertaste feels like you're not supposed to. We got to get you a three out of ten. What do they call it a control? Like when you like have like, you got to get a baseline because you don't know what tonic water is supposed to taste like. I don't. So maybe that's just what tonic water is.
Starting point is 00:09:19 But the first half of the flavor tastes about like you described, though. So good job. Okay. Thank you. A little sprighty. A little sprighty. Yeah. Only a little sprighty.
Starting point is 00:09:28 And that was post Malone feet little sprydy here on 93.9 Fembe. Oh, it's going to be great. They're releasing a, their paddle they're releasing. It's like by far the cheapest paddle they've ever come out with. It's got to be 180. which is like still more than we charge. So Matt had the genius idea the day that there is launches, we're going to sell two of ours for $180.
Starting point is 00:09:58 Nice. Smart. Dang. That's going to get just always going to be combating them. Stick it to the man, eosis. Stick it to demand. Eosis. That's great.
Starting point is 00:10:13 Yeah, how are we doing today, guys? We feeling good? This is like we're pretending like this is a first, fresh recording on Wednesday, even though he just got done recording 17 minutes ago. I'm feeling great. It's really good to see you guys again. Brad's house is being rented out constantly. So we have to batch record these.
Starting point is 00:10:28 We can't afford to do two separate days of recording in Brad's house. I know. It's getting, it's running out tomorrow. Thank you very much throughout the weekend. The weekends are the hot time here. Hot time. Weeks not so much.
Starting point is 00:10:41 I'm going to see, in case people are curious about my strategy, I am going to see if I can change the settings. I know I can change that. I'm going to see if it works. This house is really close to a hospital. And I know that a lot of people like will come like from out of town, either as travel nurses or as just like people that are going to stay for a while. Yeah, genuinely.
Starting point is 00:11:02 Like people that need to be in the NICU and will rent out a house that's close. And I'm going to see if I like change it to 14 day minimum term or 30 day minimum term or something like that if that could. I don't know. Change, change the reservation. You ever thrown down on a, you can try to, as well, furnishfinder.com? I looked into it. You have to pay like,
Starting point is 00:11:22 forget what it is, $400 up front, like, rather than a percentage. Doing! Are we sure about it? You know, so it's like, I've thought about it, for sure. But, no, it's still going well. I mean, it's just the weekends are by far the most expensive, and they're the ones that are getting rented out.
Starting point is 00:11:41 So I don't hate having it during the weekdays. I'll just come over here and do some work. Yeah. Pit or patter around. Mm-hmm. Getting the hot tub. A little tonic. 101 degrees in the hot tub.
Starting point is 00:11:51 101 degrees outside. She feels like you're outside still. Let's talk about probably the biggest thing in sports right now. I'm sure you guys saw it. Yeah. Simone Biles. What's she up to? She's playing pickleball probably.
Starting point is 00:12:11 She probably is. What's up? Nebraska volleyball. Sure. When I said that, Oh Tall Tusts of corn over there
Starting point is 00:12:23 Yeah Yeah They're like kind of becoming like The Yankees or something like that Where I feel like their brand Is just so much more valuable Than everyone else Like I think two years ago
Starting point is 00:12:35 They filled up the Nebraska Football Stadium To watch a volleyball game Well Like 70,000 people watch this like tiny little volleyball game Like they just have a rabid fan base So this year And Rachel keeps me up to date
Starting point is 00:12:46 With all the stuff But they were going to play a mazoo at Wrigley Field. Did you see you hear about this? No, that's cool, though. Okay, so last week they had a... Ridley Field is a baseball stadium in Chicago time. It outdoors, okay, cool.
Starting point is 00:12:58 Historically awesome baseball stadium. Fun. Been around almost probably as long as any stadium. Yeah, it's old. People love it, though. They're really, probably. Historic. Cool. And, yeah, so fun idea.
Starting point is 00:13:09 So they pack the seats. Rachel saw somewhere that this is the most people that have ever been in Wrigley Field since Jackie Robinson played baseball. Wow. Wow. And maybe it's because they had like floor seating as well. It's like all the seats were filled and people were like on the ground to watch. I don't know. For sure.
Starting point is 00:13:31 It had to be. Yeah, because there's like you can add since the playing surface is so much smaller. You add more seats and stuff. That's cool. But I'm also confused why there was a lot of Jackie Robinson's. That's the, yeah, it's easy to believe a lot of people came to this. I'm confused about old Jack back in the day. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:47 So we happen to turn it on. Like, hey, let's just check in on this. And they played three points, like just three rallies. And it was so unbelievable and hilarious. Brad, this is like your style of humor too. What had happened is the sun had set and dew started to fall. And so the ground was slippery. And every single person at some point in the rally hit the deck.
Starting point is 00:14:16 It was hilarious. We rewound it just to watch it again. Like, I can't believe this is the best college volleyball team. First of all, because some of them, they're running up to hit the ball and they're taking big daddy strides. You know, they're just like inching their way up to the net. Yeah, you go to people are slipping, fallen. I mean, just flailing.
Starting point is 00:14:35 And I can't believe they even played three points. And so then they had to like stop and just like try and scrub everything. And then players are on their hands and needs. scrubbing and they there's like you know stickers on the court that say big tin network and all the stuff they're taking up the stickers it was a disaster it was a nightmare i was like man wow some people are getting fired how'd they not prepare for this because then i check well i'm wonder what the chicago weather is tonight 88% humidity yeah it's like you're just you're not going to be able to out scrub mother nature i feel yeah it's like it's like it's like they needed to just embrace the fact
Starting point is 00:15:14 they're playing outside and play a slightly different version of the sport because it's like, like you need to, you need to do it on sand or you need to do it, you know, I don't know what, like on grass. I don't know if they could play on grass. Like, hear me out indoors. Hear me out. There's a lot of basketball stadium that are huge. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:34 Yeah, it was a fun idea. Well, because like they did it. They did it. You said outside in a, or a college football stadium and it worked. Yeah, it must have been just like earlier in the day. I think, you know. Or the time of. year. Yeah, I think it was also September. I think it was early in the season, but yeah,
Starting point is 00:15:48 they just did not adequately prepare for the weather. It was hilarious, though. Like, you actually, I don't know if you need to, like, seek it out, but if it comes up on your feed, you, you would love watching people slip. Yeah, especially when they're serious. Like, they're trying. They're not supposed to. Right. It's not like, oh, that's wild. I mean, because that'd be so, yeah. Yeah, that's so interesting. I, uh, was I going to say about that? No. Um, oh, you see. Previous volleyball teams or anything? Did you see how the Big 12 tournament, they had that like really cool LED court for like two days. Oh, so bad.
Starting point is 00:16:22 Like the ball bounced so poorly on it that they're like, I guess we're getting rid of this. Like they spent probably so much money thinking this was like this revolutionary thing. It's like you got to make sure it's functional before it's anything else. Yeah, it's like who are the people testing this? Were they actual basketball players? Because the hard thing about this volleyball court is like you can't add too much stickiness to it or else then that's an issue too. Like people aren't used to it being like they're used to their feet sliding a little bit before they get resistance, you know. That's what's so interesting.
Starting point is 00:16:53 Dang. It was great. They scrub for like 20 minutes. Eventually they called the girls back out into play. They played for like five more minutes. And then they just send them to the dug out and called it. Dang. Wow.
Starting point is 00:17:05 For 100,000 people probably that are watching. Who knows? Yeah. So many refunds and just just what a disaster. Oh, wow. That's pretty funny. I hadn't heard about that. Yeah, that's fun.
Starting point is 00:17:18 Okay. I do like, I respect when they try to go non-traditional on where they're playing the games. It is a fun idea. Because remember college basketball used to play on that aircraft carrier? That's exactly what I was thinking.
Starting point is 00:17:30 That's cool. That's really cool. Yeah, that's a little windy. Yeah. Yeah, that one plane didn't know not to land in the middle of the game. We lost a few good men out there.
Starting point is 00:17:38 No problem, though. Yeah. That's par for the course. Yeah. Yeah. What else would be cool like that? Like where they play baseball. They play baseball.
Starting point is 00:17:46 I mean, the field of dreams is so cool. Yeah. Royals are playing field of dreams next year. My dad and I think are going to go. You got to go. It's going to be sick. Take Bo.
Starting point is 00:17:58 It'll be so fun. Imagine being like the intern or just like the like person on like preparing for the volleyball game that was like had the thought. What if it like if it rains? I feel like it'll get slippery and then just didn't say anything. And you're just like, man, maybe I should have brought that up. I thought someone else would have. have thought of this besides.
Starting point is 00:18:15 Yeah. Oh, surely they've thought of that. They'll be fine. No. I mean, yeah, just let them play on like an outdoor, like sport court kind of thing. That would have been fine. You know? I guess, but in volleyball, they go down on the ground a lot, don't they?
Starting point is 00:18:30 Yeah. That'd be too hard on it. I don't know. Yeah. Yeah, I do love the idea of like a big attraction like that. Yeah. Play golf on a, like play golf on skyscrapers. I was just about to say, we need to play more things in the sky.
Starting point is 00:18:45 Like a tennis man. in the sky. Those are cool when they do that. Two hot air balloons. Yeah. In between them, a pickleball court. Okay. Perfect.
Starting point is 00:18:56 Yeah, dude. Yeah, just like baseball up in the sky. And if you hit a home run, it just goes on to the street. And so you got people like, you know how like Ed Wrigley, like people hang out on the street try to catch a home run? Yeah. Like they're, they're waiting for this meteor to come down. That'd be pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:19:15 Yeah. basketball. I don't know where. Underwater? Played a submarine. How big are submarines? How big can they be? Really spacious,
Starting point is 00:19:25 I'm pretty sure. No, but how big is the biggest submarine we got? Can we do one? We're just like pressurized down low. Or just surely, surely you can make a big enough underwater structure. But there's just like big windows everywhere.
Starting point is 00:19:39 Tyler Tongue is probably saying. They're already playing to watch. Yeah. Dube's Day fish gets to watch. Do you say fish gets a good view. Yeah. like a smaller, like a ping pong, a pickleball game, like something, something in a boat, underwater in a boat.
Starting point is 00:19:52 Yeah. I think that'd be awesome. Yep. You can do that. Yeah. Or even a cruise ship. So it's kind of underwater. You know.
Starting point is 00:20:01 Yeah. You're on deck one. You're underwater. Deck one. I talked to a nurse yesterday and she was like, where did you play pickleball at? And, oh, I tried to describe it to her. This was kind of funny too. she was like, is that by the,
Starting point is 00:20:18 is that by the coals? I was like, if you just look at me, do I look like a guy that uses coals as like my point of reference? And I was like, I have no idea. And she's like, oh, I do the building you're talking about. Yeah, that used to be indoor cornhole. Oh, makes sense.
Starting point is 00:20:36 I doubt it. I mean, I guess why would you make that up? But like, is the demand so high? At one point, you know, they thought cornhole's the future. It makes sense it would be out of business now. Yeah. I don't even know how, like, are there lanes? How does it?
Starting point is 00:20:53 There's got to be some, like, time frame and location for each sport, even no matter how niche, that like at some point they made a big facility for it. Right. Like, it went from, like, Cornhole, before Cornhole was probably axe throwing. Maybe that was after, I don't know. One of those. And there was an escape room for a while. Raid room.
Starting point is 00:21:12 Yeah, it was a frozen yogurt spot. I was going to say it was peach wave for that. Yeah. Toys R Us before that. I'm trying to think of other sports that have come and gone. Oh, like, Ultimate Frisbee, I feel like was so popular. Frisbee golf. Not that theirs aren't popular still, but not like, not like they.
Starting point is 00:21:30 I was going to say, could get some people mad with saying those things, but I have no idea. Hey, I'm a Paul Macbeth, truther, you know. Krutzer. Come on. Yeah. That's pretty funny, though. Like, that's pretty funny to say it's by the Coles because it's like, unless, it's literally right next door to
Starting point is 00:21:47 Coles, I'm willing to bet that there's another spot around that you could have said as well. Yeah, yeah, I bet it's near by. Like if there's a Coles, there's also a book's a million. There's probably also, you know, McDonald's over there. Yeah. You know, but she chose to go Coles. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:04 You gotta try breakfast at A and W. You gotta try breakfast at A.W. And what better way than with it to delicious prate organic coffee starting with just one dollar all day every day now until December 31st I got to try breakfast at A&W at participating A&W locations in Ontario anyway um one other thing I noticed this week oh well first of all I think you you didn't
Starting point is 00:22:44 believe me so we had our two guillotine ghost starters fantasy drafts oh yeah I didn't believe you First draft, I was right here in my office. I'm locked and loaded. I get everything I want. I do the strategy of drafting more quarterbacks than I need so I can trade them. Second draft is I'm kind of like holding Teddy in the NICU when it starts. And then we get kicked out of there because the nurses do the changeover. You have to leave.
Starting point is 00:23:11 And so then we go to the Chick-Flead drive-through. I have the first pick and then I have to wait 37 picks until I go again. And of course, right when I get up to the window, hey, what's up my name, so-and-so, what can I get for you? I have to do two back-to-back picks and, you know, and I spas, I didn't want to do the same thing. And I realized I need to up my sensitive, or like, I don't know if I'm quite ready for fatherhood because I get too easily frantic or whatever. It's like, if I'm going to have a child, I need to be able to like do a fantasy draft and the Chick-Flay drive-through. And I could have it. say a little bit frazzled.
Starting point is 00:23:46 Frazzled. I spazzed, whatever word you want to use. Okay. I couldn't do it. I actually just freaked out. Yeah. And the baby wasn't even with you at the time. No.
Starting point is 00:23:55 I will say Rachel's on FaceTime with her parents, telling me what to order to this person while it's my turn to draft. And I'm like trying to be cordial. I'm like, get the chick flay up. It's no time for the chick flay. I don't need points right now. I just need to get the job done. We can get the receipt and do the points later.
Starting point is 00:24:11 I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. What are you order? I am drafting. Okay. Once you gave me that additional factor, there's so much more sympathy towards this whole thing.
Starting point is 00:24:21 It's one thing to be like, okay, me and Rachel and I got to order and, you know, whatever. Like, but one more, one more factor of like the FaceTime and the relay. The relay is tough on its own, dude. Yep. That's tough. Yeah. Anyway, so that happens, whatever.
Starting point is 00:24:38 Can we take a step? Sorry, let me pause real quick. Yeah. I want to know from people who have worked at a fast food. restaurant, specifically drive-through fast food. What is your preferred method for how we order? Like, do you want, do you want one messenger? Do you want window down person in the back being the second orderer?
Starting point is 00:24:58 Do you want, like, can you hear the person in the passenger seat just fine? And you're like, he's repeating the same thing that I've already heard. Like, I want to know. And maybe it goes from microphone to microphone, McDonald's versus Dairy Queen versus RBs versus Chick-fil-A. but I just want to know, how can we help you? Because I want, I want the best experience for you.
Starting point is 00:25:19 You know what I mean? That's a good word. I don't know. Yeah. Great questions. How good are their microphones? Yeah. How good are their microphones?
Starting point is 00:25:25 Can you hear the passenger? Yeah. Right. Yeah. All those things. Like, yeah, what are people just screaming the order way too much?
Starting point is 00:25:32 You're like, oh my gosh, we can hear you just fine, just talk normal. Or vice versa. Like, is it really hard to hear. Right.
Starting point is 00:25:39 Because I feel like, if I'm a passenger, I can, you know, I can compensate for my volume. I can match the, I can match the driver pretty easily, I think. So it's like, it feels like just eliminate one more complication and just say it yourself. Right.
Starting point is 00:25:55 I don't know. I would like to ask a fast food employee. I just notice every time I go to Oklahoma Joe's, which is not the same thing. But I say, can I get two Z-mans and some French fries? And they'll go, two Z-Man fry? And so now I just go, can I get two Z-Man fry? I feel, I feel. You're in.
Starting point is 00:26:16 Two Z-Men fry. Fries on the board. That is pretty good. I'll have to let you guys know about this once they finally put me out a window at Chick-Fleigh. Yeah. Then I can. On headset? On headset.
Starting point is 00:26:29 I can get you there guys the inside scoop. Should we just have a season where we just work a Chick-fil-A together, timing? Let's do it. I would, I think I would love customer service. That could be its own podcast, is you guys take shifts or you know like we're going to work at chick flay for season one of the podcast yeah i just think i would i would love maybe honestly i might have to like check myself or like ask people am i am i overbearing but i would love to just be like no one's ever getting an empty cup in here i'm refilling
Starting point is 00:27:00 every single one before it gets there yeah i'm i got a system i'm rock of this thing you brought a caraff from home and you're just going her table table filling up dr pepper for people i'm not even joking right before you said that I was thinking like I could have like pictures where I come around like these are the popular ones I know what they ordered earlier I know they have diet Coke they have Diet Coke yeah here's a picture diet Coke boom boom boom boom a little tonic water in this one we're doing a special tonic water and viewer I had it it's actually yeah yeah I'm gonna be like hey I'm gonna have like my own like signature names for them yeah dude have you tried them a home it's a little bit of tonic in there it's mainly brown but a little bit of white you know
Starting point is 00:27:39 it's pretty good I mean you do You sound like check fillets dream employee. It's like... Yeah, until I say that and I get fired. But it's like you are who they're looking for. This is, yeah. You're who they want probably my brother Jesse to be and he doesn't want to be.
Starting point is 00:27:55 He's always like, I only ever say my pleasure when I have a coworker nearby that's going to hear it. He's like, I do not want it to become a habit. That's so embarrassing. Really? He's like, I'm not going to conform. Jesse is those girls.
Starting point is 00:28:10 who don't want to, like, do pull-ups because they're afraid they're going to get bulky. I just, it could happen overnight. It's going to become a habit. Super impolite, but, like, he doesn't want to say one thing of my pleasure. Yeah. Oh, no, we lost time in.
Starting point is 00:28:26 Where do you go? Time, man. Where do you go? Do you... Here, there, do you know where he go? We look for him. No, no. Do you know?
Starting point is 00:28:38 This way, that way? Henry, Henry is all, about saying, you don't know. I don't know. So. We don't see. We don't see. I do see.
Starting point is 00:28:50 I see what you see. And you see that coffee from Main Street Roasters, baby. Mainstreamroaster.com for your coffee needs. Let's compare Main Street Roasters to an athlete. If Main Street Roaster were an athlete, what athlete would they be, Jake? I'm trying to think of someone just like controversy-free, beloved, their entire career. Peyton Manning? Peyton Manning.
Starting point is 00:29:17 Yeah. Payton Manning. The Peyton Manning of coffees, Main Street Roasters, presented by Main Street Roosters. Go to Mastroasters.com. Hey. They're from Indiana, dude. Hi.
Starting point is 00:29:29 Peyton Manning won all the Super Bowls in Indiana, so people love them there, I bet. Mainster.com. So promo goes, GRC for 10% off. Peyton Manning was number 10, so it's 10% off. That's how we do it. Mm-hmm. Yep. Peyton Manning.
Starting point is 00:29:44 Peyton Manning. Unfficially, his favorite coffee. Un officially. We haven't heard back from him. So if you want to drink how the P-Man drinks, you'll make it major oasters.com. Make it the P-Man's way. Lock my coffee and the P-Man in a room together. Thanks. All right, Jake. Sorry. So you're ordering in the drive-thru.
Starting point is 00:30:09 Oh, yeah. The main story here is that we leave and realize I didn't get something. I was supposed to in my order. So then I go, this is one of those chick flas you can't go on the inside. It's like the one in Shawnee, there's just like an order or walk-up window. Yep. And while I'm waiting, it's taken a while.
Starting point is 00:30:24 This chick-fil-a seems like it's not the bell of the ball. It's just as far as like- By Coles. It's, it's, I wish it was closer to goals. Yeah. And so I have plenty of time to wait, just waiting for someone to, like, address me. And we have, uh, some,
Starting point is 00:30:42 some tension in the parking lot. One guy's laying on his horn to someone else. And then... You're not allowed to do that in Chick-fil-A parking lot. Just wait. Yeah, exactly. That's what I was thinking. So then he, he's, you know,
Starting point is 00:30:54 screeches around him, whips into a parking spot, and then it's, like, storming up, like to the walk-up window. I was like, oh, boy. And then he actually doesn't come to the... To the Chick-fil-A window? Yeah, to the walk-up window where I'm at.
Starting point is 00:31:07 Oh, okay. He, like, was getting around the drive-through cars, honking at them. Whoa. Whips in, but actually he doesn't necessarily go straight to the window. He's walking that direction, and he's looking back towards the drive-thru.
Starting point is 00:31:19 And he's just like looking over at this guy who he's honking on, and then he flips him off. And that's the same time, I was like, I don't think you can do that, Chick-fil-A. No, you're not allowed to do that. You can use every other finger.
Starting point is 00:31:30 Yeah. You can give a big old thumbs up, maybe two if you want to, yeah. I was like, this guy is so upset. And someone finally, like, comes in and addresses him, and he's just, like, just angry and mad he's a door dash driver he's like scanning this thing order for uh Derek I guess whatever does that and think wow Gilbert chick-flay is crazy and then the very
Starting point is 00:31:54 next person to come up to the pickup window is another guy he walks right up clearly I'm like in some sort of line situation and not been helped yet clearly you could see through the windows no one is like here right now like you can't even see an employee and he just goes up And she's like pounding on the glass. Number one. No pickals. Like you're knocking to, like we can't see anyone. What are you so stressed out by?
Starting point is 00:32:22 And he's also a DoorDash driver. And I was like, this is, that came with it. We just went back to back there. And so my takeaway is this, DoorDash as a company, because the drivers, look, they're, they're just trying to make ends meet. They're trying their best. They're not trying their best, but they're trying decent. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:40 I actually don't know if they're trying decent. I think they're doing the bare minimum. They're doing something. They're trying. I think DoorDash, the company is either punishing these drivers too much for being slow and they're having to take extreme measures and freaking out on people because they can't get punished. Or they are way, they are incentivizing them way too much to be, hey, if you can, if you can beat it by 60 seconds, we'll give you five grand or something. And that's how these people were acting.
Starting point is 00:33:08 Yeah. Like they're, or they're just trained, like you will get a better tip if you are within six minutes. It's like, I don't know if that's true or not. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:33:17 I was, I've never thought about this until I saw two back to back. And I was like, something's going on at DoorDash. These people are incentivized. I'll just say this. Let's be a little bit fair
Starting point is 00:33:27 to the DoorDass drivers real quick and say, they're trying to best. It sounds like maybe if they're, if they're a regular dasher, they might know that this Chick-fil-A has an M-O of not, like, not being great. Addressing people, because it sounds like you were standing there for a while,
Starting point is 00:33:43 and they weren't addressing you. So maybe they just know, like, if I don't, if I don't, like, bother them, they're not coming. So maybe they just have more experience at that Chick-fil-A than you do. That's also fair. That's the only thing. For beyond that, I will say, not fair to flip people off and to scream and, you know, like, frazzle some employees, but. They had some crazy vibes to them, but, yeah, that's also fair.
Starting point is 00:34:05 They know they know their business. They know those chick flake can't get it done. They know these streets. I really, that's one of those things I think I might be anti, more than just about, as far as like society versus me, I really don't like ordering my food and having it delivered like that. I just, for some reason it's just like, I would almost just not, I really, unless I absolutely am like in an emergency,
Starting point is 00:34:29 I don't think I would ever do that. I have started to get to, I think mobile ordering at chick is kind of my gateway into now doing pickup. Because I don't mind driving places and just ordering ahead of time. Like I want to get an assayable. It's actually pretty easy to customize it on the app. Right.
Starting point is 00:34:48 On the DoorDash app and then pickup. And that's nice. But yeah, I'm like you, I'm like, it gets so expensive by the time all these fees and then this expected tip and everything gets tacked on.
Starting point is 00:34:57 And it takes forever. If you're ordering hot food, it's not going to be hot by the time it gets there. If it's cold food, it's going to be melted. Right. It's like way more expensive for way worse quality. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:05 Just because it's like saving me a little bit. Like, like, Catherine, every once in a while would love to do it when I'm out of town because it's like, I understand she can't leave once the kids are asleep or whatever. Or it's just more hassle to get out. But I'm like, I think I would just scrounge. I would just scrounge.
Starting point is 00:35:20 I'd just be like, we're scrounge in night. We're doing my cooking popcorn and deli meat. Yeah, like a mouse would eat tonight. Truly. I don't know. What can I find? I would not do that. I would just, yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:33 Or I would order something that I know is, meant to be delivered, like pizza. Like pizza's fine to be delivered. I think that's great. But they have not figured out how to deliver McDonald's well yet. Man. Chipotle. Yeah, it feels like they're taking advantage of the people that, like,
Starting point is 00:35:51 maybe don't have a car of their own or something like that. But then also, like, those are the people who shouldn't be paying $27 for, like, one little meal. But they're really just having to dig themselves into a deeper hole. It's a rough. That's a good point. I think we're all aligned as DoorDash sympathizers. Because for four years it's been a conversation.
Starting point is 00:36:15 Like AI is going to take people's jobs. And I guess I just don't think about it that much or just kind of assume like, society has a way of working things out. I'm sure it'll be fine. Whatever. Maybe that's a head in the sand type thinking. But until I started seeing it, I don't know if they're in Kansas City, but in Phoenix, there are these little automated red carts, almost like wagons with a flag on
Starting point is 00:36:34 them, they're DoorDash carts. I was like, I've not seen these. I think I've seen one. Actually taking people's jobs and taking people's jobs who like are maybe in between jobs or having trouble getting like a career or whatever. Like we don't need to automate driving your corolla to McDonald's and to someone's house. Wait, so is it a cart like a go cart size or like a shopping cart or like it's on the road?
Starting point is 00:37:00 Or is on a sidewalk? I would say like, yeah, shopping cart sized and it is on roads. It takes the bike lanes, so it can only go on certain streets. I think it has to be in the bike lane. But yeah, I mean, it's like, I hope it can see, because this is like a decent size thing. I hope it's not going to ram into my car, but they're all over here. Probably going pretty fast, too.
Starting point is 00:37:19 Yeah, I could probably get up to 30 or so. Doesn't Phoenix also have the, I forget what they're called, but the self-driving taxis? Yeah, in certain suburbs, I think in Timpe, they have Waymo's. Waymo's, yeah. Those are wild. Which, have you guys seen the cyber cab from Tesla? No.
Starting point is 00:37:34 Wait, is it like gold or something? Yeah, they're all gold. I actually don't know much on. I saw a video back in the day. Going to get some of this wrong probably. But I think the way they're rolling that they're only, so they're available now, completely autonomous, not even a steering wheel in the car. Like at no point could you take over or do anything.
Starting point is 00:37:51 No pedals, nothing. Just like a car with a giant TV in it. Nah. I don't know about it all that. Here's where I think you might be intrigued. Right. I think the way. they're rolling these out is that yes
Starting point is 00:38:06 Tesla is the manufacturer but Brad you could buy one you would buy a cyber cab and then put it to work okay and then I don't know exactly how liability works if it were to get in a crash or something or
Starting point is 00:38:21 but I think you would be in charge of maintenance and cleaning it and charging it and stuff like that but there are like people who are like I'm going to buy a fleet and I'm going to do this and whatever yeah they're releasing it almost more as just like a entrepreneur opportunity type thing almost just like.
Starting point is 00:38:37 I wonder how much more expensive or cheaper that would be than just like hiring someone to be the self-drive, like in the self-driving seat of a Tesla. You know what I mean? Like you'd have to manage employees. But like TJ recently bought a Tesla
Starting point is 00:38:53 and he said he is currently at like 95% self-driving. Like he never drives. Is that how you are? I'm not. 92. Are you really? Okay. Take your first thing. I went on then.
Starting point is 00:39:07 I told TJ I was like, dude, you're going to become a bad driver. Like, that's what I said. I don't get reps. I'm not going to know how to park. Right. Yeah. Whoa. Yeah, it's 92%. So almost every time you just push in the thing and it just goes. Yeah. It's weird. These like habits you, you know, I feel like I've always been pretty sick, gentle. You know, like, all right, I just got done doing this and I'm about to go drive here and do this. Let me quickly, I need to catch up on my phone real quick. Let me send these texts and do this thing. All right, now I can drive.
Starting point is 00:39:37 And I'm like, now I'm trying to be like, actually, you can just press the button and you can catch up on your phone while you get to a destination. And it's crazy. Do you go aggressive or what do they really call it? Mad Max. So good, Max. Is that what it's called? Mad Max. There is Sloth, Chill, Standard, Hurry, Mad Max.
Starting point is 00:39:57 Okay. Where do you think I fall? Sloth, chill, standard, hurry, Mad Max. You are standard. That's my guess. I don't think so. I think if I used to drive with you in the Impala, sloth. It goes like, moh. Sobs to the red light. Turned on the blinker. Lovely day. Tim and two. Nice. Okay. Over here. Commercial free radio, 80s, 90s today. I don't think you're mad maxing, but I think you are hurry. I bet once you get used to that speed, it doesn't feel like a hurry. It's my guess.
Starting point is 00:40:30 I go standard most of the time. Yeah, ever since you've been a dad, you know, more, gosh. You've changed. It's still like seven miles over the speed limit on the highway. Okay. Wow. So Mad Max, you're getting pulled over.
Starting point is 00:40:46 Mad Max is insane. The only time I'll bump it up is like if it needs to pull out of an intersection or something, that those speed profiles are kind of like your aggressiveness, so to speak. So sometimes you'll get stuck trying to pull out a parking lot and like, all right. I could have made that. Ramp it up. Yeah, yeah. Huh.
Starting point is 00:41:03 How illegal can Mad Max get? Like, because seven over on the highway is technically speeding. Yeah. How much more is Mad Max going to do? I mean, I think it, you know, it kind of factors in like the speed of other traffic and everything. But yeah, when I've tried it out before, I think it's like, I mean, at least 15 over. I think it'll go 20 over. Like it'll go 85 and a 65.
Starting point is 00:41:28 Dang. Jeez. you get pulled over. Like, son, you know how fast you're going? I was like, well, technically it was Max. Talk to Max. Yeah. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:41:36 I didn't tell it. I was asleep. You don't understand. Here's what you do. If you're over the age of 65, you get a Tesla, you put it on mad Max, you get pulled over, and you just claim ignorance is like, I have been trying to turn this off. I don't know how it works. I've been trying to go slower.
Starting point is 00:41:54 I can't help it. Can you please tell me how to do this? I have a diaper rash. I need to get home. Exactly. I did not, yeah, use first, first wipe dive. And I am struggling now. You know, like, just like claim that. Then I think at least you have at least a 30% chance of getting out of that ticket. Yeah. 20 miles over, though. You're done. You're good. Yeah. Not for me. I use the, I use the term cooked last night. I don't think I'm going to, I don't think I'm going to be a cook guy. I was going to say that I, like, would have expected it to sound worse. I think that was great. Really? Yeah. You mean that? I do mean that, honestly. I said it last night. We played Quircle. You ever played Quircle?
Starting point is 00:42:33 I have. Learned for the first time last night. The game's chopped. Yeah, I played it. Pretty mid. Haddy's just been really helpful recently. And so we're like, let's honor Haddy. And like, after all the other kids go to bed, we'll have a little game night just.
Starting point is 00:42:51 Oh, that's fun. So, yeah. She wanted to play Quircle and I learned. And I had won. Beginners Locket probably. But near the end, I was like, oh, man, I think I'm cooked. and howdy goes, yeah, you're cooked. That's beautiful.
Starting point is 00:43:03 Yeah. That's pretty funny. Man. Yeah. Anyway. Huh. Okay. Good to know.
Starting point is 00:43:08 I can say cooked. I don't think I'm going to. It didn't feel. That's okay. Okay. It felt, it felt like something. It felt like something.
Starting point is 00:43:13 That's like what I told. It didn't feel like me though. That's like what I told you, Brad. I was like, you told me that you like these joggers in Gulf Shores. And I was like, I have some friends that they're very much like the,
Starting point is 00:43:22 they wear the baggy jeans shorts, all that stuff. And it's like, if I dress like them, I wouldn't be myself. They pull it off great because that is them. Exactly. I'm going to wear my joggers.
Starting point is 00:43:31 I eventually will probably say cooked, but I'll need another six months of it being in the lexicon of society. Like I have, I've, unironically said low key for a while now. And I, you know, but it's because it's been around for seven years.
Starting point is 00:43:48 You know what I mean? That's funny. Low key feels like the most normal word. It doesn't seem like, it doesn't seem like slang to me. Really? Yeah. Well, but like low-key as in a, like when you say low-key and then another adjective, I think is a newer thing.
Starting point is 00:44:05 Okay. If you say low-key as in like a relaxed person. Sure. I think I'm thinking, yeah, both scenarios. It just feels normal. I was low-key tired. It's like, okay. I know.
Starting point is 00:44:16 Okay, dork. Yeah. But I know, he's pretty low-key guy. Like, I think low-key like that has been around for a long time. Yeah, that makes sense. I don't think I've ever gone I'm sure I've tried but I can't do high key I don't want to do high key
Starting point is 00:44:29 I think that sounds dumb that's not a thing sure yeah yeah yeah do you find yourself ever Jake like oh I didn't know I was about to say that you know what I mean like well probably I can't think of a example but yeah as much as we all talk
Starting point is 00:44:48 yeah I don't know I mean you're hanging out with I don't know about anymore but at least in Kansas City you were hanging out that all those like younger kids playing pickleball at that um club yeah you're right you do speak a little less freely if you're around like three or more teenagers a little less freely like it reminds me of like my first show performing in australia we're like i go up on stage totally comfortable and then all it takes is one joke not hitting the same and then you question if everything translates you're like oh no like i was using a napkin you're like i don't even know if napkin
Starting point is 00:45:22 I don't know. They probably have a weird word for it. I got up this morning. I don't even know if they sleep here. Got up. I don't think got up is the same in Australia, dude. I don't know, man. Like all it takes is like one, like the word dude feeling like it's not landing.
Starting point is 00:45:37 You're like, I don't know if they're going to understand anything I said. Yeah. Right. That's pretty funny. Yeah. Yeah. And you just don't understand how like even, even to this day with time. And like, I don't really truly know how time infuse me.
Starting point is 00:45:50 Like, because. To me, it's like Time and I are just buddies. We're just boys. But, I mean, there's a good chance that Tim imbues me as closer to his dad than his friend. If you would like the truth, the first thing is correct. Okay, good. Dude, you're not even close to my dad. Brando?
Starting point is 00:46:12 Who, Brando? No. It is funny when maybe something will happen that makes you kind of like take a step back and be like, maybe it's, It's not a two-sided street here. Maybe I see it different. Kind of like Michael has to call it his exes and like, do I romanticize things? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, I see this in my own life with like Rachel Rohrabacher, our sponsored pro.
Starting point is 00:46:33 It's like, it's been so fun. I like, as much as we communicate and joke around and talk, like, I feel like she's becoming a good friend. And then every now and then she'll say something or we'll have to have a conversation. I'm like, oh, yeah, we're kind of like her employer. Or like, you know, I forget that we sponsor her and we pay you a ton of money and there's probably like a power dynamic there. I kind of free.
Starting point is 00:46:54 I just think it's kind of fun. Hey, you know, whatever. Yeah, yeah, that's true. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:59 That's how time it probably feels about us. Yeah. We pay him a ton of money. Exactly the same. Yeah. Yeah. He's number two podcaster. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:07 Women's doubles. He's up there. All right. Time to talk about, uh, cozy earth. Cozy earth. Coddy Earth.
Starting point is 00:47:15 Cozy earth. Cozier, oh, cause you guys. Gozier, oh, co de earth. Um,
Starting point is 00:47:21 If you were to compare a cozy earth to a actor or actress, they're actors too. Who would you say? Keanu Reeves. Really? All right. No further questions or? You'll never hear anyone say a bad word about them. Durable.
Starting point is 00:47:47 Okay. Versatile. Okay. and in my case kind of a whitish beige tone okay yeah depending on the year who would you compare your bed sheets to
Starting point is 00:48:01 um I would say more like a old Betty Betty White Betty White yeah just just just when she's around everyone's more comfortable
Starting point is 00:48:13 you know everyone's everyone just feels right at home you just you just get there and it just feels like she is the warm glow in the room. She's, she's relaxing you just like cozier's bedsheets would.
Starting point is 00:48:26 So that's what I was saying. Either way. Yeah. And your night of, if your night of sleep doesn't feel like you you slept next to Keanu Reeves and Betty White, then you probably don't have
Starting point is 00:48:38 cozier's bedsheetsheed. Yeah, you could be sandwiched right in between Keanu and Betty every night. Keanu on top, Betty underneath. That could be you. Take 20% off the entire website, CozyEarth.com slash ghostrunners. Gives us a little cred.
Starting point is 00:48:55 We think we don't actually know. GRKC, yeah, yeah. It's always good. It doesn't hurt, though. Yeah, GRCCC's the promo code. Get whatever. You can also just get socks. We'd appreciate it. You can also just get socks. Gozierth.com slash ghostrunners. Huh?
Starting point is 00:49:09 Anyway, because yeah, everyone's mom. I'm like, oh, I think we're just good friends, you know? And I'm like, oh, wait, they probably, they're like, but that guy has four kids. Like, that guy, you know. So anyway. I had coffee this week with my boy, Military Bob. Bob and I are starting.
Starting point is 00:49:29 We're going to lead a Bible study. No, Sunday school. They called life group at our church together. And so we got together to talk about that. And he's like, yeah, I can meet Thursday at this time or Friday morning. I'm like, I can't do that. I can do that. He's like, oh, I can do like a late morning lunch or late morning coffee on Wednesday,
Starting point is 00:49:50 but I got a lunch at 12 with my parents. I was like, okay, sure. And so we're meeting, you know, and we're ordering coffee. And since he's a pastor at our church, often the pastors will be like, hey, you know, I'll pay for you since it's, you know, it's your diet money. No, they don't say that. But, but I, and so I'm like, yeah, no problem. And so he's like, hey, let me, let me pay for you.
Starting point is 00:50:11 I was like, okay, great. And so I order and right after I order and he like scans his card, I'm like, so why are your parents? What's the occasion for, you know, getting together with you for your lunch? just for fun or he's like, oh, we're doing it for my birthday. And I was like, is your birthday today? He's like, yeah. I was like, I let you buy me coffee on your birthday. It was such a rough feeling of like, I understand once again, like the societal, like you can't just say like, hey man, it's my birthday. How you doing? Right. But also, I don't know. Hey, dude, good to see you. Birthday, by the way. Yeah, hey, birthday. I think make that. Do you need to see some ID for this coffee?
Starting point is 00:50:48 Everyone's 21. I can drink this. Yeah. yeah I don't know and of course he was like so cool about it and didn't he's like no it doesn't matter but I'm like ah I should have known I don't know if I should have known that but like oh man I wish I would have known so I could have bought your coffee whatever yeah so this is kind of an awkward awkward moment that's so great dude yeah I feel like I I took on the burden on Instagram a couple days ago two days ago it's my sister's birthday and she posted like a bunch of new pictures from their fitness studio and you know just honestly this looks like they did a fun photo shoot.
Starting point is 00:51:22 Nothing about her birthday in the capture, whatever. And there's like 25 comments being like, you go, girl, you know, you got this mama. I'm like, they don't know what's her birthday. I got to let them know. So I try to think of some clever comment. It's like, come on, guys. Right, right, right.
Starting point is 00:51:38 You should be saying other things. And? I don't know. I haven't thought about it since this moment. So I don't know. But you had a, did you comment, like you said? I said something like,
Starting point is 00:51:48 I assume you're deleting every comment. It's wishing you a happy birthday very selfless of you. That's good. That's funny. Yeah. Brad, how similar does Bob, does military Bob look to that like side character Bob from Top Gun Maverick?
Starting point is 00:52:03 Because that's exactly what I'm picturing. I thought you were going to see the Incredibles Bob, like the boring boss who gets thrown into the wall. No, Bob is the dad. Mr. Incredible. But actually, I like that too. Wait,
Starting point is 00:52:17 let me see Top Gun Maverick Bob. I don't know who you're talking about there. he's man I'm cooked gosh I'm so I'm so chopped he's like Lewis Pullman is the actor
Starting point is 00:52:27 I just like he's kind of he plays kind of a dorky guy and in Top Gun Maverick but I I would say
Starting point is 00:52:38 just that's who I'm picturing just so you know you've got to try breakfast at you and what better way than with a delicious pre-organic coffee starting with just
Starting point is 00:52:57 one dollar all day, every day now until December 31st. You gotta try breakfast. I'm participating A&W locations in Ontario. No, I don't think, no. Who does Bob look like to you, Jake? Who would you play your comp Bob with? Bob is...
Starting point is 00:53:22 Mm. Everyone I'm thinking of is just some other random guy that Tim and for our audience would not know. Let's just imagine, let's say he's dashed from the Incredibles in 40 years. Is that fair? Yeah. Like under six feet tall, but just like just a good looking muscular, but not too muscular dude.
Starting point is 00:53:42 Yeah. Just a nice, yeah, chopped up guy. Nice, nice cooked, low-key cooked guy. Simmer on the pot. Kind of guy. I can't think of any, like, great comparison for him. I don't know. That's a dangerous.
Starting point is 00:54:05 game too if you're like he kind of looks like George Costanza but Bob's the man he's he's awesome I'm excited to lead a class with him that is very fun speaking of Bob real quick I got a text about three weeks ago so in the midst of just chaos actually let me set this story up a little more do you guys remember um you probably don't that's okay about almost two years ago
Starting point is 00:54:36 I told the story in the podcast about how Isaac and I got cornered at chicken and pickle by this guy who would just not shut up and the source material that we're talking about he's talking about how he no longer has custody of his daughter
Starting point is 00:54:51 he was one who came in hot and said hey just so you know I've never been sued before 35 years of business never been sued I do remember that yeah who's right
Starting point is 00:54:58 this guy he got my phone number he texted me the next day after that awesome conversation last night Jake would love to work together I don't respond six months later he texts me hey your name came up would love to have you by the office sometime
Starting point is 00:55:15 so we can chat more you know or something I don't respond and then in the midst of Nick you chaos Teddy I don't know where it happened in that but like life is upside down for me this guy text me this Jake period two messages with no reply. Being in business for over 40 years,
Starting point is 00:55:39 I can assure you the pendulum will swing. Best of luck. You will eventually understand someday how professionalism does and does not pay off. Just because I didn't respond to two texts over the course of 18 months. You're cooked. Do you think that Jake responded to that?
Starting point is 00:56:00 I do not think so. Well, unless you thought of something like pretty funny that's like a subtle roast back, then maybe, I don't think you did though. I could see, I could see Jake, a little sleep deprived, little like, I got, I got some, I got some energy pent up about frustrations
Starting point is 00:56:17 with some nurses that I haven't gotten out. Okay, you want to, you want to swing my pendulum, I'll swing your right back, buddy. And just have, have some sort of quippy, you know, something back. Jake?
Starting point is 00:56:30 You guys, that was a great analysis. You guys know me well. Because those were the two options. It was like, don't respond to this. Come on. Just. It's like, but, oh, my God. You can't help himself.
Starting point is 00:56:48 I will say I ended up not responding. Oh, you did. I actually did. I actually did. Did you start typing something out and then stop? I might have. I definitely had a response in my head ready to go. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:59 Because I was definitely going to throw the pendulum back his way. you know, and I had a pretty sassy response viewed up, but, because in my head I'm like, what's the benefit of this? This guy, you know. Yeah, what's best case scenario? He wants to work with you and you don't want to work with him. Like, best case scenario is you respond
Starting point is 00:57:15 and you guys are on a good terms and he once again tries to reach out and you're like, actually I don't want this. Because in my head I'm thinking like, just ignore it. This guy is, of course, not someone you want to be in your circle or anything. You're not going to change anything. And I thought, you know what? Maybe if I did share with him the full context of what I've going on right now, maybe it would make him rethink the way he treats people.
Starting point is 00:57:41 Maybe I could change something. And I thought, that's still not worth it. But yeah, I did want to say, so sorry, Bob, you know, and explain everything that's going on. Some things are bigger than business. Hopefully the pendulum swings your way sometime, you know, whatever. Just like be extremely sassy back to him. But that's my Bob.
Starting point is 00:58:00 I forgot about that until he said, Bob. I do feel like when you do have kids, especially like literally like the day you have the kid. Like in the heat of the chaos, you'll get like you almost every single time so far. I feel like I've gotten a random text, not that's like admonishing me or whatever necessarily, but just like a, just like a something that's not important in that moment
Starting point is 00:58:24 that somebody is like kind of wanting pretty quickly, but it's like, I promise. I have so much perspective right now and this is not important. Like, you know, but you can just use the, you know, hey, sorry, just had a kid yesterday. And they'd be like, oh, my gosh, no problem, dude. So, anyway, but it is funny because it's like, they don't know. They don't know when they're texting you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:46 What's going on in your life. So that's pretty funny, though. Like, yeah, two texts, no response. Wow. Wow. Zero phone calls, by the way. It's not, yeah. You're the old guy.
Starting point is 00:58:59 I figured you would love a phone call. Okay, here's a grievance, whatever. Whatever. I'm not going to call him out my name, but I don't think you listen to the podcast anymore, but he's a friend of mine. I'm friends with him.
Starting point is 00:59:11 Like, this is not anything like truly against him, as much as, like, am I in the wrong here? Or did, whatever, just social, social awareness here. There's a guy that every once in a while will text me, but he'll just say, like, like he texted me while I was on the ghostrunners. get away and he just said yo and that was it
Starting point is 00:59:35 and I did not respond and then he texted me again a picture of him no a picture of the Arrowhead Stadium he's a Chiefs pregame with eyeball emojis I did not respond because once again I was at the ghostwords get away
Starting point is 00:59:53 is this Andy Bernard texting you Megan Fox and then he me again. He's like, he said something kind of sassy. He was like, okay, so I guess once you have four kids, you're just too busy to respond to me. Oh, that's actually a good point. And I was like, okay, I was like, what was I supposed to be? I mean, I understand I guess I could respond. Yeah, go chiefs. What am I supposed to respond to? Yo. Like, was there an intention behind
Starting point is 01:00:22 it or was just like, he's trying to start the conversation. I should, you know, say something back. I don't know. And so I was just like, what, what are I supposed to respond to? He's like, respond to my last two texts. And I, that was one of those times where I started typing something out to like explain and like defend myself. And then I stopped and I deleted it. And I said, my bad man, I'll try to be better. You know, because it's like what?
Starting point is 01:00:44 Yeah. What, what like would you have responded to yo? Not in my current state. No. Kyle and I were talking with this. I, I, I, there's starting to build a real frustration with people not being like forthcoming enough with what they want. Like, it's not like I'm just going to say no to any offer, but like I would just rather know
Starting point is 01:01:04 immediately. Before you ask me to coffee to chat business, I'd really rather you just send me like a three sentence summary of what you want. Okay. Yeah. You know, like just be up front about it. Like, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:16 My buddy, uh, Bo Toonberg is his name. He's the one that has whitey's ice cream or whatever. His family does. Um, but, uh, he texts me the other day. He's like, what are you doing on Friday morning? I was like, what's the next question? That's what I said to him. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:30 I was like, I don't know, are you asking me if I'm hanging out for 45 minutes for coffee or it turned out he wanted to play golf? I was like, that's a commitment. Hey, do you have five hours for you during a workday? Exactly. Yeah. What are you doing Friday morning? It's like, let's talk a little bit. Like, because you're like, I'm flexible. What's going on? You know, I want to hang out and go away for the weekend with you. It's like, what? I think that's a little different than just Friday morning. I think I'm a big, a big fan of in the initial text saying what you want to talk about. It's a great trait to have.
Starting point is 01:02:03 Yeah. It's funny. Very, very common occurrence for Zach. I feel like Zach gets so much flack on this podcast because he was, she was joking about it in Gulf Shores. He was like, people would just come up to me and their conversation started was like, not taking a nap right now or like, like Jake get his video yet? He's like, man, do they ever say anything nice about me?
Starting point is 01:02:28 Hey, he kicked down the door. That's true. He listened to the podcast at like two and a half times speed. That's impressive. True. Yeah. And one of the like three times he's ever listened. I was going to say, I don't think he listens to the podcast.
Starting point is 01:02:40 But he's very much like a, well, text me just timing. Oh. See? I'll be like, what? So it works. It's only because we're close. I don't, I think if someone I didn't know very well is just like, that's how they decided to, hey, Timon.
Starting point is 01:02:58 And is he intentionally, like, is there a next text? Like, yeah, he will have something that he wants to ask or talk about. I should just like sometime wait five hours and then be like what. And then maybe he'll have forgotten it. Maybe that'll teach him a lesson. That's what I was curious about. It was like, if you don't respond, would he then text you again or would he just wait? If he like wants my attention, instead of maybe calling me or like letting me know
Starting point is 01:03:24 he wants to talk about, he'll text me time and separate text about seven times in a row. Time in time, time, time. Oh, wow. Hey, timing. Hey, what's up? Yeah, just tapping you on the shoulder. Gosh. That's what my kids do to me.
Starting point is 01:03:38 Just not virtually. Mom, mommy. For me, it's dad. Okay. Interesting. Yeah. Do we have time to do the schmores for today? Because I love the idea, Brad.
Starting point is 01:03:50 Yeah, I'm fine to do it. Okay. Let's do it. Shmores today is things you wish your, house had. Things you wish you had at your house, things you wish your house had. Recently, we had a Trader Joe's open seven minutes away from our house. And I think Catherine's just fired up like, oh, Trader Joe is great. And that just made me think like, oh, should we do a schmores on things that we wish were close to your house? And I was like, why not just
Starting point is 01:04:18 make it things you wish your house had? Yeah. Let's go time in Brad Jake. Great. Sweet. Okay, my first pick, I've got good Wi-Fi. I would like to have good Wi-Fi at my house. Yeah. Yeah. And I've wanted that for quite a long time, years and years, ever since I started doing video stuff, but now the Ghostrunners have gotten a taste of another reason why.
Starting point is 01:04:44 It would just be nice. Yeah. Like, do you download, like, the other day when I sent you all those files, I mean, there weren't huge, but you had to download those and they took 20 minutes? Yeah, just like that, 20 minutes. And I was like, that was when, Yeah, so I downloaded just the Monday episode ones because I only had time to edit the Monday episode. And I was like, it's going to take way longer if there's just, it has that much more to work on, which is why I didn't download the other ones.
Starting point is 01:05:08 It's like, I got to be very, very picky about what I download at my house. And I've been uploading stuff at the library. It would just be nice. It would be nice. Jake, have you heard about slash timing, but Jake is the only one that had potential to hear about this. The four uniners have a practice facility that's like near this. Is it a substation? Yeah, they call it substation, but basically just a lot of electronics going on.
Starting point is 01:05:34 A lot of electricity over there, and all these 49ers players, football players, timing, are getting injured, and they think that maybe there's a correlation. So be careful what you wish for, Simon. How many injuries have you had? Not many. He's got a bandage on his foot. All right, last but not least, let's talk about those wonderful farmers over at the Good Ranchers. Jake, if you could compare good ranchers to one
Starting point is 01:05:58 cartoon character, what would it be? To a cartoon character, probably Spider-Man in the Spider-Verse, one of my favorite cartoons. Yeah, enter the Spider-Verse? Into the, yeah. Would you see, was he be Miles Morales or Peter Parker? Is that right, Simon?
Starting point is 01:06:17 Yeah, yeah, he said, yeah. I've never heard the name Miles Morales before. That's a character. I know, dude, it's kind of sad. It's, yeah, it's getting all crazy. So it's getting woke. Wait, would you say, would you say, Miles is, you know,
Starting point is 01:06:29 would you say Good Ranchers is woke? No, then you'd probably go Peter Parker. Okay. I don't know if it's woke or not. I have no idea. Tim is that woke that Miles is around? Timon loves Miles. So Timon's a Miles guy.
Starting point is 01:06:40 Either way, it sounds like you can get Miles Morales-S style, you know, dark meat, or you can go Peter Parker. You can get like, you know, wild-caught seafood. Homegrown. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Better than organic chicken, whatever it is. So you can go, you can go to the steak route, you can go Wagoobee.
Starting point is 01:06:55 if you can go ground beef, you can go all sorts of different porks or poultry, whatever you want, you will be supporting American farmers by supporting good ranchers at goodrainsch.com. I'll tell you what else is not woke. I ordered a flagpole and flag to hang out in our front yard off Amazon. And I thought I bought a normal size flag. I'm making a bit of a statement in the neighborhood. It is humongous. It actually arrived when my parents were in town, like when we were in the hospital.
Starting point is 01:07:23 And so my dad was like, hey, open up a lot. some of your packages. I'll go ahead and put this up for you if you want. I was like, sure. And then he gave me heads up. He's like, so people are going to think some things about you. This swag. I mean, it's, it's humongous. And I would say it's the most good ranchers aspect of our home. Because they support Americans. You support America. Let them know. Yeah. So go to good ranchers. com. Let them know. Support your American farmers by supporting good ranchers. Use our promo code GRC. You get that protein add on. You get a discount on there. And you support us as well. So we love Good Ranchers.
Starting point is 01:07:55 It's the best meat that you could ever taste. I promise. It's so good. Good Rancher.com American meat. Jake, say it. Delivered. Delivered. Delivered.
Starting point is 01:08:07 All right. Great. All right. My first one, which is one that you guys can't answer because I think you guys have this is swimming pool. Swimming pool.
Starting point is 01:08:17 If you guys have it, I don't. You guys rub in my face. Every day you send me pictures of your rafts in your foot. You know, double noodle, you know, set up. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:29 Getting my work done in the pool today, but you wish you could. Yeah. Yep. Took me a while to download this, but, you know, loving it. That was my first answer. Yeah. It's good. With diving board and slide.
Starting point is 01:08:42 Diving board's fun. Yeah. We had a diving board for a while. My dad homemade. It broke, though. Homeade? What do you mean homemade? Home installed.
Starting point is 01:08:51 I mean, no. I mean, I think it was fully homemade. Like, my dad's good at like he's just I don't know he's talented to coming up with the stuff he just like bought whatever like thing he needed to like have the leverage at the base of it and it was just like a piece of wood that was like thick enough to support but the thin enough to be bouncy and like it was a good diving board for like years did it eventually snap it was yeah someone like came over and was like just jumped a little too hard and it and it snapped and it was probably I'm sure it was
Starting point is 01:09:24 kind of inevitable after however long it had been, but yeah. Yeah. So we have one for a while, just haven't had one since. We could have a perfect jumping place. There's like a pool with a pool shed or whatever we call it. Like it has like some of the, I don't know, just like a little structure near our pool that is just the perfect place to jump off of it. It's like eight feet high, but our mom does not let us.
Starting point is 01:09:47 It's just a real shame. Jumping off the pool shit. Someday just go mad max and say, I didn't know. I just got up there and got them. I forgot. I assume that expired, the rule expired after a while. The diving board did. You got to re-up the rule.
Starting point is 01:10:01 All right, Jake. Very first thing that came to mind when you said this is a view to see thunderstorms. Ooh. I think growing up in the Midwest, you like seeing storms roll in. The weather here is so just like the same all the time that when it does storm, there have been, I don't know, five, six, seven since we've been here. And you can't, we're, you know, just our current house. you, it's so covered by trees and everything, you can't get a good look at anything happening.
Starting point is 01:10:28 You just to hear it. Yeah. I'd love to see it roll in. Just a beautiful view of, yeah, the, just a nice acreage. That's good. Just in general. Yeah, if it just land or some kind of second story balcony or something. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:10:41 A little gap to see thunderstorms. I would love that. Yep. And then second thing that came in mind was soft-closed cabinets. Oh, you don't have those. I think we had them on everything. Yeah. Even like toilet seat lids.
Starting point is 01:10:55 Oh, yeah. So it's been an adjustment period. You come to my house, you think I'm mad. You think I'm mad, mad. You think I'm mad, mad. I'm slamming things. It took me a second. I thought you said soft clothes cabinets. And I was like, interesting thing to want.
Starting point is 01:11:09 I don't know. Like Teddy's cabinets specifically for the soft clothes. But I got there. Yeah. Those are. Soft clothes. Yeah, you kind of just like drop it and it'll just, oh, slowly go back. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:20 There's a lot of things that I would think of when I was thinking of where I was like, this is plenty of things that just like, I don't know, I feel very blessed. Like they were pre-remodel. I wanted these things. And it's like, oh, we have a TV now. We have soft closed cabinets, things like that. We have an indoor toilets. That I would have said.
Starting point is 01:11:38 Yeah. We don't have to go to the outhouse anymore. That was terrible in the wintertime. He's hold it in. That's cool. Yeah. Soft closed cabinets. Good one.
Starting point is 01:11:49 All right. My next one is going to be a Tripoli. Wish my house out of Chipotle in time. Dude, that's good. But like a private Chipotle. I don't want just people coming in, you know, demanding. Really? Okay.
Starting point is 01:12:01 Yeah. No, private Chipotle. But with the workers and everything, yeah. And I would keep it in business, I think. Yeah. It doesn't even have to be free. Just let me have it in my house. That way we wouldn't have to worry about Uber Eats, DoorDash, anything like that.
Starting point is 01:12:15 That's a good answer. Thank you. I like that. First thing in the kid in my mind was a separate, just like, individual room for like music making, recording office type thing and paired with the good Wi-Fi,
Starting point is 01:12:29 I could podcast from it. Just many, many reasons would be nice. It's like a full studio space. We have a friend that had one of those one time. He left me. He had a little like podcast studio space. Yeah,
Starting point is 01:12:44 just a spare bedroom, but we had some good times in it. Fun. So now I just see diapers in my neighborhood. that's a good answer time thank you um and then this feels it's somewhat same vein i said a basement home theater with great sound system yes dude like that is just that that is the dream just like want to watch a movie i mean yeah kind of but we have to watch it on like a smallish tv with where we have like pretty basic speakers like yes but just to be able to like oh come over and
Starting point is 01:13:19 let's watch interstellar and like really actually watch it and like hear it really well. And like, yeah. Yeah. Let's do it. Let's watch the Chick-fil-A training video again. Exactly. Dude. Man, to hear that on with proper bass, it would just be. But yeah, where it's like, let's do a Lord of the Rings marathon, but you don't have to have subtitles because it's all clear because it's, yeah, that's.
Starting point is 01:13:43 That's the, that's the level of like middle class that I grew up in was like, there wasn't people that had like these massive estates with like amazing housing. his mansion kind of things that were at our school. But every once in while, you found a kid who was rich enough to have a really nice home theater in his basement. Like a whole room dedicated, like cascading, like multiple rows where people could watch. Ethan Johnson, dude, I watched the ring over there.
Starting point is 01:14:08 Terrified me. Too much space. I don't want to watch this, but I want to watch something. So I guess this is it. So, yeah, that's a great answer, timing. Thank you. All right, my next one is going to be, I'm going to be more fun than just regular basketball court.
Starting point is 01:14:25 I'm going to say slam ball court. Ever heard of slam ball timing? Great answer. Slam ball is trampolines meet basketball. Whoa. That sounds awesome. Yeah. That's a great idea.
Starting point is 01:14:39 Yeah. Slam ball court. Me just yamming on the kids. Dude, wait, do they have these at some like sky zones or something? Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:14:47 I've been on one of these courts. And ideally, ideally we'd figure, out a way to make it so that I could have it close enough and safe enough to where we can go slam ball into the pool. Dude. That's awesome. Your house is coming together nice. Just wait. I got I want to come over. Jake's not going to. I hope Jake doesn't seal it, but it's going to yeah, the coup de grah. So. All right. My last two. I'm going to go with a laundry shoot. Sure. That would just be nice. I mean, you go from.
Starting point is 01:15:22 I mean, a full service lodger shoot. It's not going into a hamper in the laundry room. No, it's going. It somehow goes in. Okay. In the washer. That would be fun. Okay.
Starting point is 01:15:30 Oh, I had the same. Yeah. I'm like, dude, if I could just, I don't necessarily want washing machine and dryer in my room. But if they were like hidden in the wall or something where it's just like, you just gather up the clothes that are on your floor, chuck them in. Right there, right from your bed. Yeah. Wouldn't that be nice? Chuck them in the wall.
Starting point is 01:15:50 That does sound nice. That's pretty good. And then my last one, I'm going to go with, I was trying to figure out the most succinct way to word this. I'm going to go with secret passageway. Okay. That's good. So just some kind of like, this could be a trapdoor. This could be a revolving bookshelf.
Starting point is 01:16:05 You didn't realize that spun. Yeah. You pull the right book. Just a tunnel underneath. Something fun. Something secret. Not everyone knows about it. That's great.
Starting point is 01:16:17 I like that a lot. I have some friends who live in Wamigo, Kansas, who kind of like, we're able to just build their own house and they put in like a secret bookshelf. And so every time I've been a part of like a couple people's, you know, I have my own first time where I found out about it where it's like if there's a bunch of guys over the house, they'll play sardines. And so eventually they'll all decide like the one person that doesn't know about it is like the guy that has to find everybody. And everyone just goes and hides. Oh yeah, Sardines works backwards. But everyone hides in this bookshelf area.
Starting point is 01:16:48 Yeah. And sometimes it's really funny. and sometimes, dude, my friend Oliver, like, he doesn't get mad easily. He was so mad. It was so funny. And it was like, you know, for him, it was terrible, but it was so funny seeing him so mad. I just, yeah, anyway. That's pretty fun.
Starting point is 01:17:08 Did you guys eventually, like, kind of like, almost like tease him, like, as far as, like, make some noise or something? He gave up, I hear you guys. Oliver gave up a little too fast. I think we were trying to make noises and he was just, he kind of, yeah, he was just like, What is this? Come on. Did you call that? Cooked?
Starting point is 01:17:23 He was cooked. He was like, this game is so mid, guys. Just come in where you are. Yeah, that's a good answer. My very last pick is going to be, and I don't think this is the same as secret passageway.
Starting point is 01:17:35 Yeah, it doesn't have to be secret. It can be very out in the open, but just a slide. I want a slide in my house. Yep. Dry? Yes. I guess you already have the wet one.
Starting point is 01:17:45 Same. Or do I want it to go from dry to wet? Oh. dude. I'm not going to specify, I just want to say slide. Yeah, it's good. Madison McCullough, I want slide.
Starting point is 01:17:58 Two slide openings. One of them above it says dry. One of them above it says wet. That's not bad idea. Or maybe it's just like a multi-lane, like multi-slides. Ooh, it's on pulls a lever. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:08 Oh, yeah, it's like a train track. Yeah. Yeah, you can like move it. Yeah, boom, boom, boom. A fork in this slide. Maybe it's, yeah, maybe it's like a three-lane slide. One of them's laundry chute. You know, one of them's like a little bit.
Starting point is 01:18:20 of like a shoo. Yeah. Just make sure the kid doesn't go in that. Yeah, you make a wrong adjustment. You're in the washing machine. Oh, that's good. Slide. Slide is my last answer.
Starting point is 01:18:32 All right. Has no one take, I'm going to say pickleball court for my final answer. It's on my list. I said basketball. So I went away from the court. Mm-hmm. Okay. Well, I would love a pickleball court at my house.
Starting point is 01:18:45 That would be so fun. So that's why I'm picking it. Believe it or not. so that's why And so that explains why I chose it as my answer for things I want in my house That's good Thank you
Starting point is 01:18:56 Yeah that would be awesome Pick a ball basketball basketball Tennis court even Would be Yeah Just anything Yeah football field A golf
Starting point is 01:19:07 A golf hole would be awesome I would actually Yeah I'd have to figure out a way To get all the balls back But I would love to just Have a driving range at my house It's fun
Starting point is 01:19:17 Batting cage Golf simulator, anything. Yep. Cornhole lane. Yeah, just a whole building of cornholes. Honorable mentions. First one I wrote down, urinal. Oh, good.
Starting point is 01:19:31 I didn't think of that. Just one of those things that's so unnecessary, but would be great. Be awesome. I'd take it. Couldn't sit down in it, though. Water fountain slash soda fountain. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:19:42 I'd like either. I would love a little like, you know, just Coke Zero fountain, fruit punch fountain. Not a freestyle machine. Chocolate milk found out. Oh yeah, chocolate milk on tap. That would be awesome. I just had a barista.
Starting point is 01:19:56 Just have a barista. Just they're ready for you. Maybe the barista also works at Chipotle. Yeah, just a private chef of sorts. But they have to be Chipotle train. A private chef that only knows how to make Chipotle and coffee.
Starting point is 01:20:12 Seems easy enough to me. Specialized. Yeah. I also had Chick-fil-A. sauna. You guys didn't think enough outside the box if you didn't write chickplay. You're right.
Starting point is 01:20:25 You're right. You were seeing Richie Rich. They have McDonald's in their house. That's awesome. Oh, Brad, I feel like I mean to talk to you about this. I feel like I saw in one of the session groupie's that you weren't too high on the chicken and waffle sandwich. Buddy.
Starting point is 01:20:39 I like it. Okay. Here's what I'm going to say about it. I think everyone likes it. Of course you like it. You like it just fine. I like that thing. I don't know why I expected it to be better than Chick-fil-A sandwich, though.
Starting point is 01:20:57 That's what I was expected. Like, I chose it over this thing that I love already. And that was the hard thing is it's like, it's like going to Tripoli and ordering. Chicken and waffle sandwich. Chicken and waffle burrito. Barbacoa. It's like, hey, that wasn't a net negative.
Starting point is 01:21:16 Of course, it was fine. I ate every bite of the chicken and waffle sandwich. But it was like, but I love a spicy chicken sandwich with pepperjack cheese on it. It is so good. And that I kind of forgot how amazing it is because I get it so often that I think, well, I got to try this other thing. So it was good. It was good. But I don't know if I'm going to order it anytime soon.
Starting point is 01:21:40 Really? Okay. No. But everyone else loves it. So more power to you. I like it a lot. It just feels it's so different. different than the basic one, like, than the number one that I'm like, I don't know if you really compare it. It's just like a breakfast sweet version of it.
Starting point is 01:21:53 Do they sell it for breakfast? All day. Okay, because I would be more interested in trying it for breakfast and seeing how that tasted. I also didn't use the syrup. Because I was driving while it was eating it. I don't use the syrup either. I think it's already got enough syrup flavor. Very sweet. Yeah. Yeah. I like that. I don't know. I'm not anti-sweet and syrupy. Like I like the McGrittles back in the day. I haven't had one in a while. Oh, those are good. Yeah. Yeah. But I don't know. It wasn't my favorite. It was just like, it was just like, oh, why did I forget that the chick flayed the way it's always been is perfect already. So. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:29 Have you had the Schmores milkshake? Sorry, Smoors. Yes. It's amazing. We had it with you. Oh, that was funny. Oh, yeah. We taste.
Starting point is 01:22:37 Yeah. What was the? Yeah. It was just like. Remember that girl just like jukeed us out completely. It's, uh, yeah, all Bride's family. Tong What is palm
Starting point is 01:22:49 Palm That whole group That accidentally ate together A Chick-fil-A There's a girl Just like with a whole platter Just heaping full of Of smores
Starting point is 01:22:58 Shake samples And she just like walks She's walking directly up to us On her way She's giving him out this way That way And then she just like Fully just like
Starting point is 01:23:07 I think she walked right by our table Just like acted like we weren't there You gotta try breakfast And what better way been with a delicious pre-organic coffee, starting with just $1 all day, every day now until December 31st. You gotta try breakfast. I'm participating A&W locations in Ontario. Yeah, she took a harsh right turn to, like, pass it over here, and I was like, oh, I thought
Starting point is 01:23:45 that she was coming to us next. I guess she'll come after that. And then she gets done, and she's turns, and, like, we're right over here. And she just beelines that pass us. We're like, that felt intentional. It was unbileal. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:57 And then eventually she did come back and it was a great. Yeah. But yeah, I tried those both in the same day. It was a great day. And it had every last bite of all of them. But I like the smores milkshake more than I like the. Okay. I'd say the same.
Starting point is 01:24:11 But both good. Catherine had the other day for the first time and she was blown away, dude. It's really good. Little chunks of whatever's in there. Yes. The chunks are what makes it, dude. The chunks are special. Jacob, I know you're trying to not do.
Starting point is 01:24:27 your sweets, it's gross. Don't worry about it. It sounds disgusting. Yeah. It's terrible. If you get one, just let me know and I'll drink it for you. The chunks are worth the chunks of whatever are in the toilet later because it's dairy. You know, what I found out.
Starting point is 01:24:41 Chunk in, chunk out. Chunk in, chunk out, but it's worth it. Do you guys have anything else written down for smores? I put, um, um, um, um, guest bedrooms that smell good. Yeah. Yeah. I think it's, I've tried enough. things. I took all the ghosties considerations.
Starting point is 01:24:59 I think it's time to just tell the homeowner. Get some LVP, dude. Tell them LVP. Send him a voice memo. Here you go. This is Power 965. You're listening to. I don't know how much else. I'd pick about a court. My other one is I put a dog sometimes. Mm-hmm. A good dog. Like, yeah, we don't really have much of a yard.
Starting point is 01:25:25 so and yeah I don't know just so you say yard then yard a yard dog yard dog yard dog yard yard with dog yeah yard with dog yeah like a golden retriever at the right times like when I'm traveling I don't own a dog obviously yeah no a magical a magical dog that
Starting point is 01:25:46 hangs out in your yard that you also have but also is clean when you want him inside to like snuggle with yeah but then is gone is disappears when you go vacation or a trip. Or even just like now, recording a podcast and I need three hours of uninterrupted. Like he's not around right now. No.
Starting point is 01:26:03 Yeah. Oh, you wouldn't want that dog around right now? He's barking. He needs to go out. I can't just let him out right now where he's just in the hospital. No, he's a good dog. He wouldn't be barking. He would just be at your feet.
Starting point is 01:26:13 He's a magical dog. You'd be petting him right now, dude. Okay, new answer. A dog with no bladder or digestive system. I don't hate that. Yeah, it's good. You guys aren't thinking outside of the. box enough.
Starting point is 01:26:26 Yeah, you guys feed your dog has blood. Feed your dog once, maybe twice a week. It'll be fine. Oh, yeah,
Starting point is 01:26:34 he does a chat. A dog window fur. Oh, that'd be perfect. Yep. Yeah. You'd look gorgeous. Time you have anything else? I had two that I didn't say.
Starting point is 01:26:44 Um, a fridge full of fun drinks. Mm-hmm. And tonic water. Unlimited jalapeno kettle chips. Oh, baby. That would go pink monster. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:54 Yeah. I was thinking that's included in the fun drinks, I would think. I don't think I knew that we shared this love of HP. I don't know if H. J. H. K. J. H. C. J. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. H. It would be. Yeah. They're amazing. Yeah. They're amazing.
Starting point is 01:27:25 I love it. All right, Schmores, but on the best on our Facebook group. Thank you to Madison McCullough for always being awesome and doing those. Yeah. So fun.
Starting point is 01:27:34 All right, we should probably wrap this up for Time and's sake. Yep. Timon has to sing his little songs. And do go the voice lessons. So, yeah,
Starting point is 01:27:46 we'll do wins of the week another time. No, let's just do our one of the week, no explanation. My one of the week, I used AI to clear a ton of system storage on my computer. Oh.
Starting point is 01:27:55 Nope. No questions. Shut up. No touching. Dude, did I tell you about, sorry. Now I'm going to say another story about Haley Herman wanting to deliver something to you after Teddy was born. And I kept being like, I'm going to tell you this, but then you cannot ask a single other question. Did I tell you this? All right. I think you told me, but not the podcast. Yeah. Like, she was like, okay, like, what hospital are they staying in? And it was like, I knew that you were getting discharged that night.
Starting point is 01:28:24 I was like, I was like, I'm going to tell you this, but you can't ask any more questions. Say, okay. It's like, I would send it to their home address tomorrow. She's like, okay, but what time? I'm like, no more questions. No further questions. So it's kind of fun doing no further questions. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:28:42 My one of the week with no further questions is podcast studio. Yep. Time. My one of the week and don't ask me about it is I got a good. drum set. Jake. Guys, guys, we agreed on this. Next week.
Starting point is 01:29:05 Give him a drum set. Yes, I do. That's it. That's fun. All right. We love you guys. No further questions from the ghosties. But comment away.
Starting point is 01:29:15 As long as it's not a question. That's right. Comment your statements. We love you guys. Thanks for listening as always. See ya. money. Looked to thought.
