Starting point is 00:00:00 Sop, sup, sup, so, so, so. So, so, so. Morning, morning, morning, morning. How are we doing, Jackie? I'm doing great. How are you? I'm doing great. Hey, you are a new dad, yes?
Starting point is 00:00:09 Yes. It's a new dad. You haven't made that real yet, by the way. Oh, you have to, um, actually, I don't know what. I just got, I'm pretty hot in my own microphone here. Am I hot to you? Do I need to turn down? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:00:30 I have no idea. We have the same headphones now. You'd think it would be where. Yeah, exactly. I just got done having breakfast with a friend at McLean's, and afterwards doing a little bit of work there. There was a mom of a six-week-old baby, and we talked for a little while.
Starting point is 00:00:45 It was nice, and I need to get your input on this, Jake. At the end of my time with her, you know, I was like, it was her first baby, and I said, congratulations again. Hang in there. How do we feel about hang in there? I would love to hear a hang in there. there. Really? I'd love to hear in HIT. Whenever you can give it, I'll take it. I just, I said it and I was like,
Starting point is 00:01:07 oh, is that, is that I've been spiral and ever since. I've been, I've been like, oh, it's like I'm talking to Katie and Charlotte again. Did I mess that out? Is that implying that I'm in, that, that's like a bad or that there's even an option to not hang in there and, and let go or, uh, like, it's a beautiful thing. It's not, it's not inherently negative. It's just, it's just a lot right now, you know, hang in there. No, I think because that is the main emotion there is like, I don't know, sympathy or just encouragement, whereas the annoying, like, what would it be, feedback or advice you get from people at every stage of life is just wait. So as long as you're not saying just wait, I think it's fine. Okay. Oh, yeah, you think it's good now.
Starting point is 00:01:59 Yeah, I mean, yeah, it's easy now. And I don't think you would ever say that in the newborn phase. Just you wait. Yeah. Oh, well, maybe you would say it gets even better. Maybe you would say that. But yeah, I mean, the second you start dating someone, just wait until later, you get engaged. Well, just wait until you're married.
Starting point is 00:02:17 Yeah, yeah, yeah. But is it a just weight of like it's going to get negative or is it just wait like it's going to get better? You're right. It kind of goes both ways. You know, I'll tell someone. It's just how you've got to have tone. Yeah. It's a tonal thing.
Starting point is 00:02:26 Yeah, Rachel and I, we've been dating for. Couple years now, no fights yet. Here's the good one. Just wait. You've been dating and it's good? Dude, just wait till you're married, man. All right, now negative. Ready?
Starting point is 00:02:40 Go ahead. Oh, yeah, that was mine. When you say like, oh, wait, yeah, we like never really argue or fight. Oh, bro. Just wait. You never fight now. Just wait. Hang in there.
Starting point is 00:02:59 I think this type beat means that it's going down With some random thoughts in white meat too Midwest best friends eating fast food on repeat So come along let's have some fun and go ahead get on your feet Because it's a ghost from this podcast Every morning morning who are taking ground Ghost on this podcast Yeah I don't know
Starting point is 00:03:23 HIT for this Monday morning Hang in there ghosties Whatever you're going through Hang in there Hang it up Yeah hang it up Hang it up Hang in there, sorry.
Starting point is 00:03:35 Hold on to it while you hang it up. So you're hanging in there. Oh, that's good. Ghosties are great. You know, I feel like I appreciate them more than ever. One, I'm awake so much longer. I have more time to appreciate them. And two, you're consuming more.
Starting point is 00:03:50 Yeah. I think now that I'm trying to grow another podcast, I become actually thankful for what we have with the ghostrunners. Like, I don't have to upload and go, I hope somebody comments. You know, like, or, you know, fill in the blank. So, goes, she's great. I listened to seven minutes of the Friday group chat podcast so far.
Starting point is 00:04:11 Today's? Yeah. Oh, that's nice. Today's is by far our funniest. Like, I think it's honestly, you would like it because, I mean, we spent 10 minutes talking to Scott about how we almost got scammed. And every step of the way, it's like, how did you not see that it was a scam? It's so good.
Starting point is 00:04:27 You know, I mean, like, in one email, this dude hit all three of the red flags. It was like, my bank account isn't working. I'm out of the country. Gunny J. go to Wells Fargo or something like that. I forgot what the third one was, but it was something like that. It was like, dude, this is not real.
Starting point is 00:04:42 What was Scott's role in this? They emailed wanting like $5,000 worth of paddles. Okay. And they were in Barbados. Scott was like, honestly, a lot of times that like an international distributor wants paddles, it is a little sketchy sometimes, you know, and anyway.
Starting point is 00:05:00 I think the fourth, Tell tell sign of that is like if they greet you in a way that no one's ever been greeted before. Hello, my good sir, and blessings to your morning. Yes, dude. Top of the evening day, good times for you. Yeah, there's like, yeah, there's certain type of sentence structure we go, that's AI. But also there's certain type of string structure that's scam. It's foreign or scam.
Starting point is 00:05:28 And it's not AI. It's their own language. It's their own language. It's their own like, hey, let's like, let's translate, Google translate this and send it on over. Yeah. Greetings of the day is my favorite. I think that's like the, that's the one that they, you know, hang their hat on. Like, hey, let's do a little greetings of the day today, guys. Come on. Top of morning. Hello. Top of morning. How are you? Yeah. I got, I got one yesterday. Greetings of the day. Your health care, your health care is expired. And I'm like, no, it's not. It's fine. We're good. Nice try. The email, which everyone should just go listen to that part in Scott's segment, but was from someone like goodness mercy at gmail.com or something. I mean, yeah, pretty good, pretty good, pretty good alt, you know, whatever. Goodness mercy with like 18 letters or numbers after it. Yeah. Goodness mercy 4984674 at gmail.com.
Starting point is 00:06:23 Speaking of the text. Do you, do you reply stop like as soon as you. get one, like a politician or lawn care or whatever? I should. I, that's one. I've been really, um, whatever you want to call it, like strict on my emails. I have not on my, uh, texts. And man, are they getting me lately? I, yeah, they must know, hey, Brad voted conservative. So therefore, let's just hound them with these polls and these, these like, watch this video, this guy doing this thing. And I'm like, I don't, this is not, you're not winning. You're not winning this way. This is not how it's going to work. I'm getting so many texts about Kansas City specific things now that I've
Starting point is 00:07:03 left. I mean, obviously they don't know that, but I swear I'm getting more than I ever got. Just roof service, tree service, lawn service. And I'm screaming at these people because you have to to get them to stop. You have to do all caps stop. Oh, you go all caps. You're like, I have to. That's what it always suggests if you want to opt out reply. True. Stop. Stop. No. Yeah. Done. And every once in a while I'll get a email from somebody. that's like kind of the same thing where it's just like, hey, just was curious if you ever wanted to sell your house. By the way, reply, no thanks, and I'll never bother you again. And I replied, no thanks. Guess what? Still bothered me again. Yeah, how do you feel about that?
Starting point is 00:07:43 As soon as you opt out, they send you a text to let you know that you've opt out. FYI, you're opted out. It's like, this is the whole point of what I'm trying to avoid. Yeah, I'd rather just assume it worked. Yeah, I've really been trying to like analyze how many notifications I get on, like how many push notifications I get on my phone. Yeah. Because like that's my whole thing. And like it got, I was really like I was really good on it with the brick and then it feel like it's gotten a little out of hand recently and I'm trying to hone it back in. Yeah. Reddit somehow got in there. Um, I turned on the group
Starting point is 00:08:12 me ones for, uh, Gulf Shores. I've turned those back. I just got a, I got to really hone in on it. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know what I have. Let me see if I've gotten in you right now. Target. How'd you get in there? QT? Yeah, I got a, I got a Canva. Yeah, I got Uber? My gosh, this is embarrassing. Dude, my bank has been sending me push notifications, but it's never the fun ones. Like, it's never like, like, I don't get a notification of money is deposited in my account. Or when it leaves my account, it's only notifications about like, this one says,
Starting point is 00:08:49 last chance, final hours to act, open a sulfide crypto account deposit without, you know, it's just like terms and conditions, basically. That's all I get from my bank. It's not fun. Relatable or not, dude, when you go to unsubscribe from certain companies, they're like, does this mean I'm unsubscribe from like the really important ones too? Like banks. Like I'm like, I don't know if I can unsubscribe to my bank because what if it's like,
Starting point is 00:09:11 hey, you overdrafted. Hey, you, you know, you got, you know, this thing that you owe this money on, there's bill. And I'm like, am I unsubscribing from those emails as well? Because I know sometimes you can choose, but sometimes I'm like, I'm not confident enough that that's not a, uh, you know, whatever kind of email, news and alerts. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:28 Is that a news and alert? Yeah, yeah. Define alerts. That sounds like an alert to me. Like, but what kind, you know? Yeah, I would like a type of like push notification that's like, do not disturb. Like, well, if you call me twice in a row, it'll get through. Urgent A, urgent, B, urgency.
Starting point is 00:09:41 Yes. And that's fair. It's like, I think if it's really that bad, they're going to send you a letter in the mail. Yeah. Probably. But I, yeah, I think maybe I'm going to test it out. What would be a good company to test it out on that's like not super dire if I miss it? you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:09:57 Like maybe my water bill or something for like just unsubscribe from all of water. Yeah. And just hope they still send me the bill. Runs it runs its course. Yeah. I don't know. Water would be pretty big bummer to get turned off. But you know, there's got to be something like that.
Starting point is 00:10:12 Something unessential. I'll do a while. Yeah. I don't need the I don't need the updates to terms and conditions of water one. I think they're doing just fine. And if your water shut off, there's always some in the tank. So you've got a little while. You've got some reserve if they shut it off. That's good. True. Yeah. Nice try, guys. We have a hot water heater.
Starting point is 00:10:31 Yeah. Water heater downstairs. And we have three toilets. And there's some in the tank of those, too. So, yeah. And only two of them are unused. Gosh, my kids don't flush the toilets. Really? Yeah, have fun with that with Teddy. It's like, it's unbelievable. It's, I will say it's kind of nice, like, you, I don't ever forget, really. But like, if I ever miss, let's just say that. If I ever miss, I do clean it up for the record, but like, I don't have to because I could absolutely blame it on Bo. Bo doesn't even look. He's the Steph Curry of urinating. He's just up there just doing his thing. I'm like, Bo, you got to look where you're aiming, man.
Starting point is 00:11:13 Yeah, you got to put some like glasses on. I'm like horse blinders where he can't see out the side and he only sees. I thought you were going to say, I got to put like some like a face in the toilet like for him to shoot at or something. give him a bull's eye. Yeah. But anyway. Yeah. So,
Starting point is 00:11:29 okay, so hang in there's okay. Yeah, all that to say, yeah, we'd love to hear an out of boy or a hang in there from someone like
Starting point is 00:11:36 random and public. I think that's pretty fun. Yeah. What, I mean, okay, let's just talk about this interaction a little bit more.
Starting point is 00:11:42 Because I thought about like, maybe I should have said you're doing great or something like that or you got this. I, obviously, I don't,
Starting point is 00:11:48 I don't feel comfortable enough with this random stranger to say, you got this mama. But like, maybe it's something like that. Um, okay, but there's another thing I need your input on as a new parent. Because this is good.
Starting point is 00:11:59 This woman, yeah, I think the baby was born three weeks early and, yeah, is now six weeks old. So just a little ahead of Teddy, basically. Okay. Um, and I think as a, I don't even know if I used to have to use the word heterosexual, but as a heterosexual 35 year old male, I think I groaned in cuteness for a little too long at this baby. like it was just a little bit too much like a like oh savor this oh you know but I was I think I was like how old six weeks
Starting point is 00:12:28 let's try yeah let's try let's try okay yeah so he was so boy or girl it's a girl uh it's a little girl and what's her name her name is Delilah she was born three weeks early but she's six weeks old now look at her oh do you need to sorry do you need to use the restroom Oh, I was like, I was replaying that in my head. I was like, hang in there. I think I groaned like a creep to this girl. And the worst part was like she, I was sitting at like this chair where there was a couch across from it. She's like, can we sit in the couch?
Starting point is 00:13:09 Is anybody using this? I was like, no. And she probably regretted that couch decision immediately. There's something really funny about that, though, like a groan that like you're aware it's gone on too long, but you don't want to shut it off quickly. You're like trying to adjust the fader on it. Oh. It was, dude. I was so quick to tell her I had four children of my own and I was not just like some weirdo sitting in the quarter of a coffee shop waiting for like these young moms to come in.
Starting point is 00:13:37 That's a cute baby and I would know I had four of them with my loving life. We're still together. Everything's good. No one calls me stepdad. I'm all set. We're good. Oh my gosh. So yeah, that was kind of awkward.
Starting point is 00:13:51 Yeah, that is that is tough. Yeah, you got to flash the wedding ring, everything. pictures of the kids. Oh, that's a cute baby. Please. Yeah, I'm getting like fake face times. Like, yeah, buddy, I'm coming home soon. I know.
Starting point is 00:14:04 No one does it like me. I will be cooking your lunch. But yeah, absolutely. And then I really over-emphasized my own kids, groaning. Like, oh. And then she's like, oh, he's just a groaner. Oh, that's how he responds to cute things. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:14:21 I forget the very beginning of this. Is this an absolute stranger or something? It's just like an acquaintance with who you were meeting with. No, no, this is just an absolute stranger. I met with somebody for breakfast. They left. I stayed, did some work on my computer. That's nice.
Starting point is 00:14:33 And this interaction happened with this random girl. Man. Random woman. I miss McClain's. Yeah, man. What do you think you'll, I mean, realistically, when can you come back to Kansas City? Like for Viz? Like to Viz?
Starting point is 00:14:51 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, unless, I mean, or just move back. Yeah, or move. I'll tell you, it's 58 degrees in Phoenix Day. I don't know why I moved here. What? It's just Midwest fall now. This is just the same weather as it is in Iowa right now.
Starting point is 00:15:04 It's colder in Phoenix than it is here. Really? Is it just rainy and nasty? Yeah, it's like three days in a row, which I also, why don't we move here? What's going on? Yeah. That's like the Arctic tundraft for Phoenicians. I think it'll go back to normal soon.
Starting point is 00:15:20 But I would like to, I feel like there was. something like, oh, we could like make a, make a trip out of that. I forget what it was or when it was, but I randomly had the new Kansas City K-Life director. I saw that he had DM me on Instagram yesterday. And he seems like a really cool, fun guy. He said he also did K-West programs, now did Kansas City K-Live and he was joking that he's going to start his podcast soon, you know, and just do everything I did. But I was like, you seem cool. Whenever I'm back, let's hang out. Have you ever met him? No, I don't even know his name. Zach, I think.
Starting point is 00:15:54 Zachary. No, that's fun. What was I going to say? Oh, it's just, I bet it's just hard. If you're going to travel, I mean, higher priorities are obviously Stratford and New Hartford. You got to go see your parents first,
Starting point is 00:16:09 so it's just hard. But, I mean, they don't have McLean's there. They have joyful job, but no, McLean's. I think one, like, easy excuse eventually will be Playola, like next April or May. Like, for sure, that's like a, you know, carve that out and go. But we'd like to come back before then.
Starting point is 00:16:27 I got us to do a comedy gig in Branson yesterday also. That would be in January. That's kind of close. Like performing for like the Canna Cuck Institute, some fundraiser or something in January. Oh, nice. That's cool. So it's like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:41 Leave here for Missouri in January. Yeah. Love to speculate on upcoming player trades. We get it. Wish you could do more than speculate on investing? We got you. you. Cooperators can help get your investments in the game.
Starting point is 00:16:59 Cooperators. Get investments, insurance, and advice from someone who gets you. Terms and conditions apply. You're a snowbird. You don't understand the definition. You're like a bird that just flies with the snow. Dude, did you see all those birds migrating that were affecting the radar in Kansas City? I saw it on Facebook, of course, because why else would I see this information?
Starting point is 00:17:24 Yeah. No. Tell me more. You have to see that on Facebook or like the local news. There's another way you see that. Yeah. Someone posted in some Kansas City Facebook group that I think I'm in. And it was just like, what am I seeing on the radar?
Starting point is 00:17:38 And it was like light green and whatever. Just it looked like a massive storm, but it wasn't raining or anything in Kansas City. And people were saying like, oh, this is like a bird migration. There's so many birds in the air that it is affecting the radar. What? I guess. Snowbirds. No, I have not, I have not heard about the birds.
Starting point is 00:18:00 Rainbirds. Thunderbirds. That's what Thunderbirds are. Oh, it did thunder last night. Okay. So that makes sense. No, I have not heard about the birds. That's...
Starting point is 00:18:09 I think it's gone now, but kind of fun, a little thing in nature? This game that I've been playing on Sporkel that I mentioned last week, the Acrostics game, first of all, I'm completely addicted to it. It's... I genuinely, and I'm not joking when I say this, I've played it and pridefully I've thought I don't know if they're like I can't imagine anybody better than me at this game I am serious dude I've gotten so good like I would I would put money up against anybody in the world at this game because you have to have multiple you have to
Starting point is 00:18:45 know a little bit about a lot of different subjects yeah or a lot of different things and also you got to be a fast typer to beat me I don't know if like I think that those two things are going to, you know, take me far in this game. It is fun when you find things like that. I remember in college, and I've talked about this before, but there's just a dumb game on your phone. And people would gather around to watch me play it. And I was like, sweet.
Starting point is 00:19:07 I guess I'm phenomenal at this game. It's like a once in a lifetime feeling. It may not happen to me again, but man, it's fun when you realize. Yeah. All your skills come together. Like, granted, I mean, Catherine's only tried a few times, but I am leaps and bounds better than her. I'm so, like, there's just things
Starting point is 00:19:28 I just know a little bit, like, there's sometimes where I'm like, I don't even know how I knew that, but I know that answer is Amoeba. I don't know. I don't know why I know that. I know that's an isthmus. I don't know what ismises are really, but I'm pretty sure that's it's it. Just vocabored in. Let me ask you this. I type it in perfectly. Have you gotten so, like, are you playing it enough to where like, when you lay in bed, you're thinking about it? Like, you see it? No. No, but here's what I am,
Starting point is 00:19:51 here's what is happening. So the way the game works and I saw somebody comment, how I was terrible at explaining it. But you played one time after we got done recording last week. The top of it is like this Wheel of Fortune-esque, like, fun fact, like, where you, every time you answer something below, it, like, fills in some of the letters up above. And so that's where I've gotten myself, like, inundated in it, is, like, every time someone brings up anything,
Starting point is 00:20:16 like, you just talk about birds. I got bird facts for days now, dude. Like, there's so many different things about birds. that I know, like there's an elephant bird. You ever heard about this? No, what do they do? They're extinct now,
Starting point is 00:20:31 but I think that they, I think that they, their eggs were like 25 pounds when they, they would lay 25 pound eggs. That's pretty cool. It's like a big old, like ostrich looking thing.
Starting point is 00:20:41 I'd say. That's fun. And you learned about that from Sporkel Acrostics. Yes, dude. I've learned about so many random, like every time, I'm like,
Starting point is 00:20:49 that's actually pretty interesting fact. You know, Abraham Lincoln wrote a novel, a true crime novel. about a case that he was a lawyer for? That's a pretty fun fact. Yeah, bud. What else you want to talk about? I'll tell you anything.
Starting point is 00:21:03 Yeah. All right. Do you have any facts about founding fathers? Of course I do. George Washington was a natural redhead. What else do I have about? Do you have any fun facts about ancient Egyptians? Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:21:21 Let's think. That does sound vaguely familiar. You know the one I've heard is, and I didn't say this just so I could say this fun about it. But it's like, we live closer to Cleopatra than she lived to the pyramids being built. Some fun fact like that. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Crazy stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:21:38 I also, there was a fact like that about dinosaurs where it was like, oh yeah. The Tyrannosaurus rex was older. I mean, like we're closer to T. And he was even like the stegosaurus or something. Yeah, don't tell time in that, though. You know, time it. The T. The T.
Starting point is 00:21:51 The T. is several hundred years old. Hundreds of hundreds of years old. Anyway, yeah, something like that. I mean, it's just like crazy. Martin Van Buren, I forget he's a president, you know. He spoke another language, I think, better than English. I think English was a second language.
Starting point is 00:22:08 William Howard Taft, these aren't founding fathers of their president. William Howard Taft was a president that was on the Supreme Court. I didn't know that. Dang. Busy life. me or you're staying real busy doing all these acrostics
Starting point is 00:22:24 do you have any fun facts about golf oh yeah it wasn't that fun of a fact but I think it's like 360 dimples per ball something like that on average there was one that was like that maybe that's it though for golf do you have any fun it's crazy
Starting point is 00:22:42 do you have any fun facts about science oh sure let's think about science real quick I mean everything's science right yeah you know these days everything's science um these days
Starting point is 00:22:56 okay something about one of the one of the planets I think it's Neptune maybe um has winds up to 2,000 miles per hour wow that's crazy Jupiter I believe one of them like a day to them is like 10 hours or something something crazy like that like really fast
Starting point is 00:23:17 I don't know. To them, I don't know why I said them. To those guys? Yeah, to those people out in Jupiter. Yeah, science. I mean, all sorts of things. The platypus was discovered by,
Starting point is 00:23:29 I forget who, but they thought it was just like an anomaly. Like it was a freak accident. Like, oh, that's not a real animal. That's fair. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:37 And I did. I looked at it. I was like platyplata, plodipire wild looking. Did you learn in your studies? Are they native to Australia? Are they in Australia? Where are they?
Starting point is 00:23:46 Hmm. This seems like they would be. They're not an Asian, Asian thing. Platypus? They've got to be Australian or... I don't know where their home is. They seem marsupial-ish. Yeah, the PPA tours in Australia right now,
Starting point is 00:24:02 so I've been seeing a bunch of content and someone was asking a pro player, like, what Australian are you mostly looking forward to seeing? And I was thinking, that's a dumb question. I mean, what are your options? Like, koala or kangaroo? And then he said platypus. And I was like, I don't even know if that's an option.
Starting point is 00:24:16 okay, did you watch, I think it was Amazing Race episode two, so I think you did watch it. When the soccer players who came in first, they're like, you got, you know, Phil always gives him a prize for getting in first. You get a package for two to Tasmania. Oh, yeah. Do you hear that? And they're like, do you know where that is? Because he's Australian. And she's like, yeah, Africa.
Starting point is 00:24:41 And he's like, no, no. I will say when I used to map tap, those two would always trip me up. Well, because there's Tanzania. Yeah. Boy, they look similar. They do. That's why you have to have good typing fingers like me to take me down. Let's do an ad read for Maine.
Starting point is 00:25:03 Streets. Roaster. The S went in the wrong spot. So Main Street's roster. You kind of just slithered away. Yeah, everyone used to, well, we should call it the right thing, just in case people go online and go to mainstreetsroaster.com. It's not going to be that guy.
Starting point is 00:25:20 It's going to be Paul down on Main Street. Main Street's Roaster and, you know, crappiny Indiana. No one knows where that is. It's not Napinney. So Main Street Roaster. Meachers, that's what it's called. Don't mess it up.
Starting point is 00:25:36 Permission to Beatbox while you rap about Main Street Roasters. Is it going to sound good since we're talking via video call? Yep. Hey guys. Hey, girls. Uh-oh. It's October. And it's kind of eerie.
Starting point is 00:25:59 This is a bad idea. Bad idea. You're right. I tried to go melodic and then, you know. No, no, no. It was not that. It was just you were, you were a good two beats behind. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:10 I was like, it's October. Okay. just go, you go. You do the whole thing yourself. All I was, I was, I was heading to say, um, eerie. I don't even remember it now. What my line was it going to be. Saying about I was going to rhyme me eerie with something.
Starting point is 00:26:29 Oh, you're going to do a little great licks. Drury. You're, it's October, so it's eerie. And a lot of you guys out there are looking kind of dreary. So get your, get your caffeine. There's only one thing to do. There's only one thing to think. Well, get a look, get some beans and start to drink.
Starting point is 00:26:46 Yeah. Yeah, make that drink. May that drink. Make that drink. And if you get a little bit turn, no problem. Just don't make it burn. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Step on your line.
Starting point is 00:27:01 And if you step on another man's line, that's okay. You're not going to get a fine. Not going to get a fine. Yeah, you're fine. So. I have to mowing the lawn so I don't owe a fine. Yeah, do one of those for Main Street Roosters. May.
Starting point is 00:27:23 My Aunt May is in the streets. Now I just sound like Lisa Gluck doing speech here. Main Street. My Aunt Mayst. Reeks of roast. Of roast. My Aunt May does. So if that's you out there, if you're feeling the ear,
Starting point is 00:27:47 and dreary and needs something to think while you drink. Make it made sure your oysters and it tastes good on its own. They've got like a lot of flavored coffee. But if you're like me and you like your black coffee with extra flavor in it, I found some creamer or Rachel found some creamer recently. It's a, I don't even know what, Brian. Might be Chibani cookie butter. Talk to me.
Starting point is 00:28:10 Okay. That's not bad. Not bad. That'll buff your head right up. So, majorosur.com, take 10% off with the promo code. Here, KC, support them as they support us. That's right. Small town folks, good people.
Starting point is 00:28:26 Good town people. That's right. Anyway, I've just, I literally, I think I've played every single puzzle. Like, I think I'm caught up on it. Wow. I played every archive puzzle of it. And so I got nothing. I got nothing else to do right now.
Starting point is 00:28:41 I will admit, I haven't thought about the acrostic or anything we did last week. really at all randomly yesterday someone posted in the Facebook do you see someone posted the Facebook group they tried they played that game Contexto and they got it right on their first guess yep that was what did you awesome what was the what was the word you know I saw it a day late so I don't know what it was that day okay yeah I was like no way yeah your first time playing a game and you're like I'm not trying to make a big deal of this but I think I did something miraculous but it's my first time playing took 15 minutes to do this dude that game I want to like that game more than I like that game. That game is bothersome. It's a little annoying towards the end. So I played it once
Starting point is 00:29:19 since last week. And I got down to, you know, it said fruit, two. I'm one away. I know it's a fruit and it took me forever. Yeah, I had one that was, I think I told you this. It was like milk was five, butter was seven. And the number one answer was like the right answer was cup. I was like, I kind of get it, but butter is seven for cup. I think we could do a better job just like doing that on our own. Yeah, it's, it's almost a really fun game. It's almost somewhat fun. Yeah. Like I was playing with Hattie, had he's been really into Krillian with me, which she's pretty good at everyone's a while. Everyone's talking about grill these days. I know. It's a fun game. But then we played that one and she's like, I don't understand how
Starting point is 00:30:11 That's close to cup. I was like, yeah. It's hard. So, anyway. Anyway, time of what we got for us today? Ah, the little silent treatment, you dog. I guess time is not here, is he? All right.
Starting point is 00:30:26 His internet's not working very well. He's in Ohio. Filming something. Oh, the very merry jingles. Jingle my jangles. Oh, he's filming jingle my jangles. How do you feel? about, I mean, it's still pretty warm here.
Starting point is 00:30:44 Like yesterday I think it was like 80 some degrees. But like, are you going to get, have you figured out if you're like feeling festive or not in Phoenix? Like as in like, like, are you going to have pumpkin anything? Are you going to, you know? I don't know about fall festive. Change your, your color wear. No, I think Rachel's getting pretty excited for like Christmas decoration.
Starting point is 00:31:09 It just like creating a nice cozy living room for. us and Teddy and when our family comes. I don't know about fall. I don't think, you know, no gourds, no pumpkins. It doesn't feel, cacti and gourd should never see each other. They should be kept separate. Cacti might be a gourd. No.
Starting point is 00:31:27 I don't know. If it hasn't come up on the acrostic, there's no way of knowing. I'm trying to think of cacti things on the crustic. Dude, it's crazy how much stuff I know about everything. I'm just a genius now. Yeah, are you going to do a little bit of like a, desert theme Christmas or you're just going straight classic you think yeah we want to like put ornaments like on an indoor cactus that's what i was thinking like yeah yeah you go to the cactus tree farm
Starting point is 00:31:52 and go from there so yeah we can't get like a dog or anything that would like rub up against it teddy's hopefully you know shouldn't be crawling by then so we should be fine but yeah it'll be prickly do you guys have a cactus in your yard yeah it's kind of fun a couple in the backyard wow yeah we were sitting on the back porch last week my mom came down to help. We're all just sitting on the back porch. I was like, this is pretty fun. This is our backyard. There's palm trees and cacti in here. That's pretty neat. Wow. Think they planted them or are they wild? Probably planted. Okay. I did mean to look up. Tell me if this comes up in the acrostic. Palm tree roots. We have massive palm trees six inches from our pool. And I'm wondering,
Starting point is 00:32:35 where are these roots going? Whoa. How can it be so close to our pool? Yeah, that seems like a massive. They just go straight down to the extremely vertical roots. I was joking that it's like an iceberg. It's like actually 90% of the palm trees underground. Just like a huge stake in the ground. What if, dude? Just super strong.
Starting point is 00:32:57 You see them survive the hurricanes. Yeah, they go like 500 feet underground. That's, that like, that's one of those things I don't want to think about too much because that does, like, tree roots stress me out. In America or sorry, in Kansas where it's like, we have base. and it just messes with your everything. I just, I see a tree and the more I think about it, the more I'm just like, ah, I don't,
Starting point is 00:33:19 I don't want to think about those roots. I don't want to think about what those roots could do to your pool. And just like, that's stress, ah. Yeah. The catastrophe of that, just no good. It's always amazing anytime, like, inanimate objects like that can, like, break through things or I guess maybe it is a little animate,
Starting point is 00:33:36 whatever, just like, you lay, you lay mulch down. And it's like, well, if you don't put the, liner down, grass is just going to grow right through that. I'm like, really? This soft little grass is going to go through the mulch? Sure enough, it does. Sure enough. They were right. Sure enough. Yeah, no kidding.
Starting point is 00:33:54 Yeah, I don't know. Same with true yours. Anyway, every once in a while, I'm like, I don't, I don't have, I don't have the patience for the, the right way of doing this. I just want to put the mulch down. Yeah, I don't want to look good to show this house. Pretty much. Yeah. Anyway, your, your, your new. New buyer, Max, he's doing a good job keeping that house up nice. Is he?
Starting point is 00:34:15 That's nice. Yeah. Good job, Max. Good job. So good, Max. So good. So good, Max. Yeah, I think we'll have a normal Christmas tree.
Starting point is 00:34:23 No cactus. We'll keep it outside. Okay. Something that I want to see if you relate to this at all or not. Rachel made this point like two weeks ago and I forgot to ever bring it up. So, you know, right now we're hanging in there with everything. but you know the newborn phase there's so many processes that are always running you know um burp cloths and his clothes are constantly getting dirty so laundry got ramped up a ton we've got
Starting point is 00:34:53 bottles bottles that need to be prepped bottles that need to be warmed bottles that need to be cleaned we've got a reverse osmosis machine because of the hard water am i right timing yeah okay okay keep it yourself your time you know all the things that come with it Rachel and I, and as you figure out how to do all these things, we've realized it's a lot like those like games you played back in the day. Maybe some people still play them, but we're like you're in charge of like a pizza shop or like a cupcake shop or something like that where like you have to keep the customers happy.
Starting point is 00:35:29 We have to put the pizza in, but the pepperoni takes this much time, but you get to clean the thing and you're just like going crazy on your iPod touch, like trying to figure out the fastest way to do it to keep the customers happy. That's what having a newborn in your house is like. life. It's like you're always having to think ahead. You're always having to like, but you also sometimes have to react to things right in front of you. Yes. And then you also have to like, yeah, do things that you forgot about in the past that need to be done for the future.
Starting point is 00:35:54 Yeah, like always aware of how much each process takes. Like, okay, the washer, dryer, dishwasher, bottle warmer. That'll take like five minutes. How many millimeters? You know, and like there is a right way to do all this. I can figure it out. And then there's a variable like, oh, and you're now doing it on the go. You're now doing it remotely. Yeah, on the go pizza shop. Yeah, last night, like, before I went to bed, I like, every appliance in our house was running. Everything was humming. And I was like, the pizza shop is making some dough tonight, baby. Pizza shops is doing good. When it's like, yeah, we're, we're, yeah, I have enough electricity for all this to work, baby. Yeah. And if any one of them shuts down, we're in trouble. But right now, it's going good.
Starting point is 00:36:36 Yeah. Do you guys have like, uh, I mean, I, I, I, I, I mean, I, I, I, I, I have. I, I mean, I, I, I feel like we just eventually had like burp cloths, like just a little stations of them and not every room, but kind of like bedroom, bad, you know, not bathroom, living room, dining room, whatever. Just because you never know when you just have to grab one quick. Yeah, that is kind of nice. They're like kind of everywhere, like kind of always within an arm's reach. But yeah, just so many things that have to be clean now. What kind of, this is a really vague question, but what kind of dad do you feel like you are? Like what kind of, do you notice any tendencies?
Starting point is 00:37:11 Do you notice anything that you are doing that your dad did? I know those are multiple questions. But yeah, any of them that you want to answer. What kind of dad am I? I think I'm, I don't know, pretty involved, pretty hands on right now. I guess that's probably pretty common for your firstborn. Also probably pretty common if you like work from home and there's no like paternity leave and right. You know, so it's like I don't know how much.
Starting point is 00:37:34 It's not like I'm like I have to be working all the time. you know, so I'm pretty, you know, are you a, are you a seek out the information? Like, let's say you're gone. Do you seek out the information when you get home about them or do you just absorb what you are given? In other words, like, how is his bottles? Did he, did he have, did he take, did he, I mean, six ounces or did he, you know, only take four again?
Starting point is 00:37:59 Or is it just like? Yeah, right now we're seeking out, you know, you come down the stairs at 3 a.m. And you go, all right, how is the shift? Okay. And you're kind of hoping to hear that he had a massive poop. But you kind of don't want, you don't want to hear that Rachel had a ton to clean up. So you don't know what you're rooting for. But my goodness, the boy is bunged up.
Starting point is 00:38:16 Is he? Oh, yeah. I'm getting his legs. I've been nose and tozing and bicycling and we're trying all sorts of stuff. I'm about to get in some Eastern medicine soon. I don't know. Time for Wendy. Windy.
Starting point is 00:38:30 All roads lead to Wendy. Yeah, we might. We got a pediatrician appointment soon. And yeah, if we don't get a, you know, Pompey by then, I'll take it to my mind. own hands. Mount Vesuvius, Rachel. Yeah. Mount St. Helens.
Starting point is 00:38:43 It's got to be nuts. That is. Yeah, it's tough. But yeah, I don't know. What type of newborn dad would you say you are? Um, I mean, now,
Starting point is 00:38:58 like with multiple, eventually the newborn dad becomes the, like, the one to help to take care of the rest of the kids. I feel like it's kind of the next. next role. I'm trying to remember what I was with Haddy. I think I was like,
Starting point is 00:39:12 um, most of the time I was just like, just hold her and do whatever I can with her with me. Like, like, if Catherine was gone, I'm just like, and, and, because Haddy was kind of a needy baby,
Starting point is 00:39:24 at least in my perspective, my standard is like a newborn dad. And so it was like, she was crying. She didn't, she didn't like her like little swing thing that we had for her or any like, things like that. And so,
Starting point is 00:39:35 but if you held her, she was good. So I would just hold her. and just like walk around and do all this stuff one-handed basically. Like I just learned how to just do everything while holding her. You're like, we're making tables. Now, Haddy, it's going to be a bit loud here. I got to use a table saw.
Starting point is 00:39:48 Plug your ears. Yeah. I'll give you a mask. Sorry if there's, you know, spray that gets up in your nostrils. You'll be fine. Trust me, it's not as nearly as bad as the fumes on the stain. That's what you really got to be careful. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:39:58 Yeah. That stuff will get you. Yeah. I'm trying to think like, I was also, I'm a big theory, dad. That's my thing. Like, I always have a new theory of like, I think this is why, I think this is why they slept better last night. I think, like, I remember one time, Catherine gave me such a hard time.
Starting point is 00:40:18 And it's valid. But like, I remember my theory for her eventually she was crying in her crib. We could look at her on the monitor and see it. And my theory was, I think we should shush her with the microphone on the monitor. I think that's going to help. It helps to do that. That way she doesn't see us, but she hears us. And so I was literally like putting my, like doing that up against the monitor.
Starting point is 00:40:43 I was like that's that, you know, so I always am like new theory. Let's try this out. Maybe this is the reason why this. Maybe. Yeah. Maybe they slept better because it was slightly quieter on the sound machine, but it was darker. But there was more noise outside. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:40:58 But like, I don't know. That seems like maybe that's why, you know, or, oh, she has this. Maybe it's because you ate, you know, tacos last night. I don't know, all these different things. I think he likes breaking back. I don't know. He's like requesting it. I swear. Yeah, when we watch last dance, Bo is so happy. So and I try, I try to always reemphasize to Catherine, like when we go to bed, I'm like, wake me up if you need anything or like let me know if you need anything. But like, I mean, so much of it's just in her control ultimately. So I'm like, if you wake me up, if you need emotional support or whatever, I'm there. If not, I probably will just like ask you over and over. Because I think that's annoying too, just be like, you need anything. you doing okay?
Starting point is 00:41:38 And it's like, yeah, I'm fine. He's just not doing what I wanted to do right now. Yeah. So. Yeah, that's probably fair. Anyway. But yeah, I just didn't know if you were like overprotective or, not even not overprotective, but just like a certain way like that or or how you're talking to him.
Starting point is 00:41:57 Are you, are you baby, baby, baby, uh, whatever we call it, baby, baby voice, baby. I don't know. I would, I would need to like have someone else observe. I don't know how babyish it is. I like to think it's not... I'll throw down a bunch of nicknames, but I don't think it's like a high pitch, like I'm talking to like a puppy or something.
Starting point is 00:42:17 Okay. Yeah. You're just like, Teddy, come here. Boy! Yeah. You better be pooping that diaper. Boy. That was another thing. Like, I had like, a theory of like,
Starting point is 00:42:30 oh, if your voice is too low, you know, that they don't like that. You know, or if the voice is too high, or, oh, I think they really don't like it when you turn on a faucet. That's, like, really, like, hurting their ears. So, I was big. I was big just, like, I think that helped me, like, stay,
Starting point is 00:42:47 I don't know, like, stay, not interested. Not it's like, I'm not interested in my kid, but, like, keeps it fresh. Yeah, just, like, very present because you're always looking for, like, input that could change things. Yeah, maybe so. So, yeah, I feel like I just don't know anything.
Starting point is 00:43:04 So I'm just like, just keep them alive. Just feed them and burp them. I mean, that's... They need you for that, though. Like, they need you for that. Yeah. So... Daddy's doing great.
Starting point is 00:43:15 That's good, man. Um, okay, I have some... Oh, I have a silly segment. Are you ready for it? Yeah, I can't wait. I got multiple things lined up this week, Jake. Oh, sweet. Between, uh, between silly segments and other things.
Starting point is 00:43:33 Um, this one, I think I kind of set it up. to where I was going to like prompt you. And then I was like, you're getting like no sleep. This might not be an easy thing for you to do. So we can kind of do both. I'm going to call this, uh, punch lines. Oh, okay. Like punny.
Starting point is 00:43:54 But like I had, I had chat GPT like give like random. I use an example and I said make other scenarios like this, uh, that you make, that you didn't add a punchline to. Okay. Uh, so literally like not. consensical, what in the world kind of thing. So my first one was helicopter crashes over a colony of varmints playing with kids' toys. I'll say it again.
Starting point is 00:44:18 A helicopter crashes over a colony of varmints playing with kids' toys. And the punchline is, chopped goes the weasels. Oh, yeah, I was like thinking, I was like a squirrely bird, squirrel. Oh, see? See? That's why we need you. Okay. Chopped goes the weasels.
Starting point is 00:44:36 Okay, so I have punchlines that I've already thought of because I was like putting you on the spot every time and you're going to be half asleep, you know, like, that's not fair. So, but I do want to I'll do what I can. Okay. And just you're going to have to focus on the sentence because they're not normal sentences.
Starting point is 00:44:56 Got it. All right. A magician gets arrested for turning every parking ticket in town into a rabbit. Okay. it's got to end with hair a magician gets arrested
Starting point is 00:45:13 for turning every parking there's like four bits of information here I know and maybe don't use all of them just use what you got a magician a luge alluge and hair what's another synonym for magician
Starting point is 00:45:26 the jester I don't know give me another word in there or what'd you come up I mean yeah I'll set the tone here as far as like okay they're not to have to be that good
Starting point is 00:45:36 I have two for this one Abra-crabidra. Okay. Okay. And the no-to-zone gets a little more hairy. So... I'll get the next one. Okay.
Starting point is 00:45:56 All right. A colony of ants steals a church's entire sound system during the sermon. Yeah, I know. Colony of ants. Steals the church's sound system during the sermon.
Starting point is 00:46:15 I keep one to use the word B, but they're not bees, they're ants. Like the beekeepers took the speakers. Beekeepers speakers, is what I was thinking of, but they're ants, the bugs. Funny enough, we do have a beekeeper one on here, so we'll use that one later. Here's all, I don't have a full thing. I just wrote down Protestant's. It's backwards. I get it now.
Starting point is 00:46:40 Yeah. Ants is at the end. That's all I could think about, Protestants. Right? No, like I said, I had time to think about all of these. So just no. All right. Oh, boy.
Starting point is 00:47:00 Hey, one of the highlights of my week, Jake, was I invited my friend Tate and his family over for... Tate Nation. Tate Nation. What up? Pan, pan, pan, pan, pan, pan, pan, pan, pan, pan. Did you see someone in the Facebook group knows Tate Nation? Yeah, he's my next one. My neighbor.
Starting point is 00:47:15 Like, we don't have that many listeners, dude. what are the chances that Tate Nation it's one thing if it's like, oh, I've also read a book with Tate Nation as the author. Yeah. That makes sense. Oh, Tate Nation baptized me. It's like, no way, dude. No, he didn't.
Starting point is 00:47:31 Are you kidding me? I had Tate Nation over to my house with his five kids, his wife the other night, and had some flat iron steaks from good ranchers on the grill. And this is how much was left over at the end of the night. Right here, zero, nada, Zed, zilch.
Starting point is 00:47:49 That's not much. Nothing, because his daughter, who I think is seven or eight, had like a ton of steak. Like, she loved it. And I was like, Bentley, it's because it's grass fed. It's because it's the best.
Starting point is 00:48:05 I mean, look at the marbling on this stuff. Like, you can tell this is like, this is better than organic. Like, this is like truly made from American farms. And she's like, yeah, I think this one has a little taste of I want to say Montana in here, I was like, I can't confirm that, but it sure does taste like it's American and not from some other country. And she can taste it.
Starting point is 00:48:23 It really was fun. Like, I was like, oh, yeah, we'll definitely have leftovers. We're making so many of these. And she just kept coming back. She would go play on the trampoline for a while. Come back and say, can I have some more steak? I'm like, yeah, girl, get in there. So shout out.
Starting point is 00:48:36 Get your creatine fix from Good Rancher Steaks. They got chicken. They got seafood. Is your creatine and steak? Oh, yeah. Naturally. naturally. Oh yeah, big time. That's great. I think iron,
Starting point is 00:48:50 creatine, protein, protein, all the teens. So teenagers, preteens. They all like them, they're all in them. American made. That's right. All that and more. GoodRencers.com use the promo code GRC take money off. Expendid shipping,
Starting point is 00:49:08 free protein out on for life. All the teens, all yours, all American. It's the best. Check them up. com. Run it out. A man trains raccoons to inspect houses, but they only report problems with the trash cans. And I said,
Starting point is 00:49:27 you know how they have like titles where it's like, blank colon, and then in quotation mark. So it's inspectors colon. Every property is an absolute dump. What was the sentence again? Take your fantasy league strategy very seriously. We get it. Ready to take your investment strategy seriously?
Starting point is 00:49:49 We got you. Cooperators can give you advice that's the real deal. Cooperators, get investments, insurance, and advice from someone who gets you. Terms and conditions apply. Were there raccoons? It's supposed to be involved in there? A man trains raccoons to inspect houses, but they only report problems with the trash cans. Dump.
Starting point is 00:50:18 like dumpster. I also had dumpston and specs in. I don't know if I understand this game. I don't know if it's necessarily a thing you gotta understand. It's just a little bit like almost like headlines of
Starting point is 00:50:35 or punch lines like but making them punny. I'll just, I'll just rattle off a few more here. Two rival cheese shops settle their feud with a duel at sunrise. Wanted, colon,
Starting point is 00:50:49 ched or alive. That one makes more sense. That was pretty good. I was pretty proud of him. Diss me, dis me. Now you got a Swiss me. Also, 310 to Gouda. To the Yuma.
Starting point is 00:51:06 Pirate opens a daycare, but every toddler demands a larger share of the treasure. I've got crap in my booty. I put, greedy kids want that booty. And then I also had this one. Let me try to remember how to say it.
Starting point is 00:51:22 Infant theft arto Why here's your beak Go ahead Just wondering why it's like Commonly known that like Oh yeah pirates Talked in this like weird way It was still English but they were just like
Starting point is 00:51:41 Arr Think there's any truths to that Oh I hope so I hope so Yeah it's all true It was just like The leg You just like yeah talk very normal
Starting point is 00:51:52 Hey how you doing it's like what you don't have an eye you can't talk that way Rachel and I were talking about this this is not totally the same thing recently but like um certain biblical names like definitely got like westernized a little bit more than likely like Matthew or Luke you know those are not like Middle Eastern names but then like some of them are really like you know um trying to think the example we were thinking of
Starting point is 00:52:21 I don't know, just like, why didn't, why did some get changed and some didn't? I forgot to look that up, but I don't remember. I have no idea with the answers. It is fun, like, reading a story that you don't know very well, like in the Bible, Old Testament or something, and you're like, I don't know that name very well. And it's like, almost always it's because that guy is a bad guy. Like, the good names are the ones that people name their kids after most of the time. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:48 You know? Yeah, like Barabbas versus. right Paul how many Brabuses do you know yeah you know a lot of Matthews
Starting point is 00:52:58 no a lot of Lukes know a lot of Pauls right a lot of Jacobs yeah don't know a lot of Nebuchadnezzers that's right

Starting point is 00:53:12 hops hops hops I don't know no a beekeeper discovers his rabbits have been secretly brewing beer
Starting point is 00:53:21 inside the high. Oh, hops on hops on hops. The bees are unrelated. Hops goes the weasels. I had Milwaukee's nest, instead of Milwaukee's best. Nice. You know, bees make pollen. So India Paul ale.
Starting point is 00:53:41 Is it a pale ale? They're colonies. And so Colonna light. Okay. And the one that I'm most excited about buzzed bees. Bosed bees. Buzz bees.
Starting point is 00:53:55 A little buzzed. Honey comb. Hexed. Queen. I don't know what I have beer companies. Yeah, I know. Combe does seem like one that you could get something. Comona light.
Starting point is 00:54:10 Yeah. Yeah. Once again. Pretty good. This one, I don't know. Actually, I think it could be funny. Only a tornado hits a mattress store and puts every bed inside of the courthouse.
Starting point is 00:54:25 And I wrote down, do you want me to tell you right away or do you want to think about it for a second? A tornado? It's a mattress store. Yeah, I didn't put the tornado in there really. Okay. But all the mattresses go inside the courthouse.
Starting point is 00:54:36 Oh, boy. And I said, you got one? No. I said, the defense rests. Pretty good. The defense rests. You should write the next Yo, Sacramento, and get these illustrated.
Starting point is 00:54:52 Maybe that was my motivation for this. I was like, I don't know if there's like a way to like, um, all right, this one's fine. A Cowboys band from karaoke after bringing an actual herd of cows to perform backup vocals. And I said, moves like Jagger is utterly ridiculous.
Starting point is 00:55:11 Nice. Yeah, I'm starting to get it now. They're like headlines for the event. It's a recap. Yeah. Yeah, but yeah,
Starting point is 00:55:18 exactly. A duck impersonates a surgeon and perform 17 successful operations before being caught. Wow. I know you probably have already heard this one, but, you know. Quack. Yep. Yep.
Starting point is 00:55:35 Quack goes the weasel. Yes, dude. I wrote down medical school, not all it's quacked up to me. And I also wrote down Cairo Quactor. Just kind of half-baked there. A monastery installs trampoline so the monks can reach the church bells. pack it up pack it in let me begin monk around dang that's pretty good that's pretty good it's better than what i had monks do chance and so i said chantaline and then oh and then i was also

Starting point is 00:56:53 burglar issues a tearful apology T-I-E-R tears of a cake tears of a cake a town Alexa Scarecrow as mayor but he refuses to take any action due to being underqualified took a straw pole
Starting point is 00:57:08 this guy sucks oh that's good I said mayor crow afraid to go outside his field nice a shrimp starts a gym
Starting point is 00:57:22 exclusively for enormous bodybuilders jumbo mhm goes a weasel I don't know I got prawn over brains and also discrimcrastation
Starting point is 00:57:36 shrimp says jumbos only yeah that's good discrimcisation a funeral director starts offering bounce houses at graveyard or graveside services
Starting point is 00:57:50 I said uplifting epitaphs or hop into heaven I like hop into heaven yeah a chicken steals a police motorcycle and leads officers on a chase through a scrambled egg festival this one i wrote down coop copped from cops shop yoke folks experience poultry in motion pretty proud that one pretty proud that one that took me a second
Starting point is 00:58:27 all right i got two more in orchestra i replaced all its instruments with power tools and accidentally renovates the concert hall. DIY. The D stands for DeWalt. Yeah. I had Grand Sampany
Starting point is 00:58:47 saw or the drill harmonic. Which is a play on words for krill. Philharmonic. Prill harmonic. Last but not least. Oh man. This one's so bad.
Starting point is 00:59:00 I wish I wouldn't end it with this one. I can't wait. A man sues a seafood restaurant after an oyster proposes to his wife. A man sues seafood restaurant. A man sues a seafood restaurant after an oyster proposes to his wife. I said, Captain Slees. Don't do that. Oh, that's good.
Starting point is 00:59:19 I like that. I said, shellfish husband in Minnesota claims mollusk love in Erica. Wait. Run that last part by me again? supposed to be mall of America Mal Shelfish husband in Minnesota claims
Starting point is 00:59:40 Mollusk love and Erica His wife's name is Erica Mal Mal Molles club of And Erica I don't know if I consider Charlie and Erica Kirk
Starting point is 00:59:53 D divorced If that's what you're trying to say I don't know how that works Hey they're not married and have though, you know. Ball's gonna love America. Ball's love America.
Starting point is 01:00:06 Anyway, so that's been punch lines. Punch lines. Lines. I got more prompts for next time because I'm sure that's just going to be a recurring seg.
Starting point is 01:00:19 Recurring sag. Yeah. That's fun. Well, cool. Thanks for preparing that. Yeah, you bet. I what are we talking about?
Starting point is 01:00:32 This is kind of fun once again sorry Scott I wish you could have been a part of this we had a team Friday call yesterday and Scott you know kind of led the charge on like
Starting point is 01:00:41 ordering some new hats for us and he's asking for like an update like by the way how many hats have we sold and you know I think we're like honestly we haven't pushed him yet but sold like 10 black 10 white and three of the red and we start talking more about the red
Starting point is 01:00:57 hats. We're like, how many of those did you order, Scott? And he's like, I think I ordered like, I don't know, like 70, 100. Why? We're like, I just don't know if these are going to sell super well. And then like, all it takes is one person breaking in the ice. And then everyone's like, dude, these hats are terrible. Why did you get this? Oh, no. The hats like in general are terrible or the, like the red one. Just the red one. Let me put it on for you. And you be the judge. Okay. I was, I was, I was, I was ready to like be like, be like, that's awful. You like it?
Starting point is 01:01:36 No. Yeah. I like it enough to where, if you gave me one for free, I'd wear it probably once or twice. Because we are trying to figure out who to give it away two for free. What are you thinking of firefighters?
Starting point is 01:01:45 Or maybe someone like a Ronald McDonald? Chiefs fans. Yeah, cheese fans who love the yellow part of the cheese. What is? Zoom in, but like, is the Friday like gradient? Is it different colors?
Starting point is 01:02:02 A little bit Is it red and yellow? Little orange. Okay. I don't hate them. I don't hate it. Oh, I don't like that. What was that footjoy?
Starting point is 01:02:17 What is that? Is that Friday? We are trying to come up with an like alternate logo or more like simplistic logo to put on stuff. And this was a test. It's not going to be this. Oh, but it's like your own like, oh, in that case it's super cool patch on the side.
Starting point is 01:02:32 anyway it was more just the color right we were just like yeah i don't think anyone's going to buy this and so now scott is making his mission he's like i'm going to personally advertise the red and yellow hat until we sell all of them here's this thing scott go to aero head stadium go to the public national convention go to you know places that really like red hats i think and maybe you'll get there with those um red just it's just a bold color like it's like it's just a strong color uh i have a red chief hat and it's a really cool looking hat but I every time I wear it I'm like I don't want to wear this hat like I just I don't know there's something about red that just doesn't it's a tough one to
Starting point is 01:03:13 tough color to to to rock yeah bright red's tough anywhere anywhere on your body shoes shorts shirt what else do you wear with bright red white yeah if you had to what would you choose I'd choose shorts I think if something on me had to be bright red I think so over yeah I think I think I would. I think I'd go shorts. I'd maybe choose like a, I would choose a golf polo. Bright red. Yeah. Okay. It's a little more like, oh, those shirts are, you have a little more leeway to be loud with those shirts. I just like, I like, I like the idea of like a nice, like, dark gray hoodie with some red shorts. Okay. I don't hate that. I don't hate that. I'd, I'd do that. I don't know. It's kind of fun to have some fun colors on the shorts with just a neutral color on top.
Starting point is 01:04:03 Scott's been beat himself off the last 24 hours. Like, I can't leave you guys. hated the red hats this whole time. And people were like, well, I kind of hinted that I didn't like them, but I didn't want to yuck your yom. Scott's like, please yuck my yum in the future. I can't believe you guys all hate the hats. Did somebody literally say yuck your yum? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:20 Who was it? I don't remember who though. It wasn't me. Yeah, someone said that. Wow. Haven't heard yuck your yum in a while. Yeah, I'm a big Navy guy. I love Navy stuff. Yeah. Navy hats. Yeah, so make one of those and I'll rock it. Okay. Or black.
Starting point is 01:04:37 Black's always fun. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Hey. Okay.
Starting point is 01:04:45 Okay. Okay. Something I, a piece of clothing I got from my pheasant hunt, a little goody bag the other day that was so excited that I've just decided I cannot wear this. Every time I, I'll even be like, maybe I can just wear around the house and just like get used to it. I look so dumb in this new age. cool camo style thing. You know what I'm talking about when I say like it's camo,
Starting point is 01:05:12 but it's like kind of more like curvy, curvy camo. Can you have any idea what I'm talking about when I say that? Like the artwork on it is like curvy? Mm-hmm. Okay. Kind of. Let me see if I.
Starting point is 01:05:28 Isaac Brace had a hoodie like this in Gulf Shores. I was like, I want a hoodie like that. I think those are cool. Okay. I don't think you have to be super cammo. We need to wear it. And then I got one. And every time I put on, I look like such a dork.
Starting point is 01:05:40 I'm like, this is not, I can't do this. Do you feel like it makes you look curvy or no? I don't know if it's about the curviness. I think maybe it just makes me look bad. I don't know. It just makes me look stupid. Like I just, let me show you. This isn't a great, great shot here.
Starting point is 01:06:00 You able to see this? Sort of. Yeah, sort of. Okay, so you went white and gray. Is that what I'm saying? Yeah, yeah. Gray and like a little like dark green almost kind of thing. This isn't the shirt, exactly, but it's similar to this.
Starting point is 01:06:18 This is the one that Isaac has. And I was like, man, that's a cool. That's a cool shirt. You look cool in that. And every time I put mine on, I think, man, I wish I looked cool in this. I've never gotten into the camo. Maybe it's because I feel like a poser if I were to wear it. That's my point.
Starting point is 01:06:31 I think I do too. I think that's what it is. I'm like, this is not me. I want this to be me. Other people look really cool. And it's them, but it's not me. Yeah, it's not me. Now, I'll camouflage my face before a pheasant hunt.
Starting point is 01:06:42 Yes, you will. Because that's, that's just kind of... That's you, buddy. Yeah, that's me. That's a necessity when you're pheasant hunting. But, uh... Yeah, just other camo, I can't. Ironically, I think Scott could pull this off.
Starting point is 01:06:58 Okay, Scott. Throw a little red hat on top. That's right. I don't think it's like, oh, you have to be an outdoorsman to pull this off. Like, I think this is like the, the gateway drug to other camo. The Olatha version of camo. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:15 Man, I do not. I'm gonna keep trying because it's, but right now I just can't do it. I thought about wearing it today. And I was like, nope, not today. Wednesday's episode? When to give people a little taste to the camo?
Starting point is 01:07:28 I will put it on and I'll look at myself in the mirror. Yeah, sure. No matter what, yes. Okay. I think I have actually one camo shirt. I got invited to this pickleball birthday party like a month ago. it was themed and our team's theme was camo.
Starting point is 01:07:41 So I'd like go out and buy a moisture wicking camo shirt. So I've got that somewhere. I'll wear it. Just know that we know that we don't look natural in them, okay? So no one has to be mean about it. Maybe I might learn like how to duck call by then. What if, dude? You're always doing this.
Starting point is 01:07:58 Like you're playing a harmonica. Like you're playing a harmonica. Like, dude, you hear me be. of duck call. And it's like, there's no difference between that and like a one year old learning to talk. And you're like, dude, that guy's so good at duck calling. Oh, people act like he is Pavarotti or something.
Starting point is 01:08:19 Dude, that guy's amazing at duck calls. Oh my gosh. Let's go. That guy's so good duck calling. I have a buddy who has like a podcast that's like teaching people how to do dug calls. Other ducker calling. Every episode? Other ducker.
Starting point is 01:08:33 Yeah. I don't know. Honestly, I've never really, there's duck calling. If you can grow a following, teaching the same thing every episode. Well, there's different ducks. You know, you got to do one for a mallard and the other ones. Spackleback? How many ducks can you name right now? All right.
Starting point is 01:08:53 You've got platypus where you talked about that, duck. Oh, yeah, good. Get that one out of the way. You're going deep cuts first. That's good. Mallard. Talked about that. Mallard.
Starting point is 01:09:07 I think I would have known that one had you not said it because of the office. Goose, is that in the duck family or is that its own thing? Are ducks and goose completely separate? They're both birds. We'll accept it. Any bird. Any bird is a duck. Okay, Cardinals.
Starting point is 01:09:24 Cardinals a duck. It's from the duck family. Elephant birds a duck. I don't know how many ducks. I'm sure there's like different types of bills. There's like a Canadian flat bill duck. Everglades round bill, duck. There's flat bill, there's rope hats.
Starting point is 01:09:44 Drivers bill. Fedora duck. Just all the different bills. For duck. How many ducks can you name? You kind of nailed them. I think I should know more because Bo I think has like a duck hunting. There's like a little baby like board book that's like,
Starting point is 01:10:06 a duck hunting book. So I feel like there's like speckle bellies, maybe. I don't know. Something like that. Grouse? Are those ducks? No, those aren't ducks.
Starting point is 01:10:21 I don't know what a grouse. You're grouse? Grouse, I think are like tiny birds. Grouse. Wow, never heard of that. Wow. Is it a duck? That's not a tiny of the bird.
Starting point is 01:10:31 Looks like it's got... The picture I'm looking at looks like a bird... I don't know how else to say this, but like, this bird looks like it's doing a Dolly Parton tribute. That is a wild-looking bird. What do you mean by that? I'm trying to be carefully. Dullabrested grouse?
Starting point is 01:10:49 Is that what you're trying to say? Yeah, it's got an augmentation. I'm going to text us to you. What is this grouse, dude? How do you know about this bird? Dude, I don't know if... Did I even Catherine down here for this? That's a greater sage grouse, apparently.
Starting point is 01:11:01 That's not a grouse, dude. That is... When you search grouse, it comes up. Are those eggs? Are those eggs or are they just happy to see me? Why are, yeah. Why are you, why you put eggs where your headlights go? Honestly, a beautiful, a beautiful little, like, shot of the grouse.
Starting point is 01:11:19 Honestly? Honestly, dude. I'm over here thinking of myself, what, wah, wah, wah, what. I'm calling that duck. What is it? I mean, they probably are eggs, but why are they there? Those aren't ducks, dude.
Starting point is 01:11:35 those are something. That's a grouse. That's a grouse having a good Saturday night right there. Yeah. Size G grouse. Capital G grouse. Oh my. So it's hard to name ducks.
Starting point is 01:11:51 We've learned. Brad, it's election season. Oh, Brad, it's election season. Yes, Drake, it is. Which can only mean two things. One, I'm getting real sick of tired of commercials.
Starting point is 01:12:03 And two, I'm not sleeping great. Oh, oh. All this turmoil left, right, donkey, elephant. Good, bad. Mm-hmm. I need cozy earth more than ever. Yes, you do. Let me do a little trivia for you.
Starting point is 01:12:21 What tenured, long-time NFL kicker, well, I'll just say a kicker you've heard of, is now running for something in Arizona. I think like Senator or something pretty serious. Mike Vanderjent. Sebastian Jen. In my head, I think he was, I mean, he had to have been a kicker for the Cardinals at some point, right? Why else would he be here now?
Starting point is 01:12:42 But in my head, I remember him as a Dolphins kicker, if that else. Nick Falk. Language. Olendo Mare. Also, maybe he never was the Dolphins kicker. I mean, I think kickers get passed around so much, and they're all just white and small. It's hard to keep track of food. Ryan suck up.
Starting point is 01:13:00 Ryan Longwell. These are all good. Jay. Jay Booner. Who is that? He played baseball with King Griffey. Jay Feely. Jay Feely.
Starting point is 01:13:13 Oh, yeah. He wore gloves. He was a kicker that wore gloves. Weird. And like arm bands and stuff. I can't get away from Jay Feely because he's running commercials all the time, running for a governor or senator or something in Arizona. Feely.
Starting point is 01:13:31 How does, how does, uh, um, cause yours, Philee. Yeah, so in a day and age where everyone's vying for your attention. NFL kickers that wear gloves think they're fit for office. If the glove fits. How about a bed sheet that fits?
Starting point is 01:13:49 How about a duvet that fits? Yeah, boy. How about some joggers for this winter that fit? Yeah, boy. Go to Cozy Earth, take 20% off. Cozureth.com slash ghostwriters. The promo code is GRKC. And load up that cart.
Starting point is 01:14:06 Papa's wearing a little cozy earth right now. That looks good. Oh my, it's so comfortable. That looks good. It's the perfect weight for this season right now. I'm in shorts and a hoodie. It's the best. It's the best.
Starting point is 01:14:17 So cozyirt.com slash ghost owners. GRKC. Feli for yourself. Feli approved. Yeah. Fili, feelie, feeling good.
Starting point is 01:14:26 It's got me in my feelies. Yeah. Yeah. You're going to be a bedophilia. Yeah. Timon just texted. Boy, oh boy. Picture of the grouse.
Starting point is 01:14:41 I think I, go look up duck types and give me a first two letters and I bet I'll get you a few more. All right. Duck type. Dynasties. Blinds. All right. So just so you know, before you get into it, there were 130 species of ducks. You got a lot of options.
Starting point is 01:14:58 Dang, dude. We couldn't name three. Dude, I mean, most of these, I don't. What about yellow? Is yellow a duck? Let's see. I'm going to go to images. Let's see like a nice chart of the common ducks. Ducks are beautiful, though. Ducks are beautiful. There are yellow ducks, but not by name, just by color. Honestly, I've never heard any of these. I don't feel bad for not knowing. I'll know a few because this book. Give me one. Give me, give me first two letters.
Starting point is 01:15:22 Okay, W.O. Wooster. Wooster. Wooster. Woven. Woolcott. Wombat. If there's going to be a duck that's in your jurisdiction, it's this duck. Really? Yeah. What do you mean in my jurisdiction? It's called passive income duck.
Starting point is 01:15:44 No, I'm just kidding. Wood duck. Wood duck, good. How much wood could a wood duck duck, duck? Oh, yeah, dude, it's a classic. Yeah, okay, wood duck. Okay, now I like the name of this. This seems to be a category of wild ducks.
Starting point is 01:16:01 So in this category, would be a mallard, would be a wood duck. Okay. Okay. The first two letters are DA. Dark ducks. Fun. Dark wing ducks. It's an adjective.
Starting point is 01:16:15 It's not dark wing. Duffy ducks. Warmer? D-A. Daffed. Daffed. You said it's an adjective. Dark, you said not dark.
Starting point is 01:16:29 day kind of reminds you there's babbling Brooks and there's and there's and there's dh dabbling deltas
Starting point is 01:16:41 dabbling ducks actually yeah for real yeah it's the number one category of duck it's also known as the puddle ducks they inhabit shallow waters
Starting point is 01:16:51 like ponds and marshes mallard wood duck blue winged green wheel teals northern pintail gadwals her teals um
Starting point is 01:16:59 All right, let's go a different category. I'll give you the first... I'm a puddle duck. First three letters of the diving duck category. All right. C-A-N. Cantilever. Can-C-C-N.
Starting point is 01:17:14 It's just two C-A-Ns. Can't... Canadian. Good guess. There is Canadian ducks. Canvas back. That's geese. What is it?
Starting point is 01:17:22 Canvas back. I don't know as much about ducks as I... I know. They're all unheard of names. Okay. Canvas back. Buffalohead. Oh, that's, that's an insult right there.
Starting point is 01:17:36 That is a good, listen to hear, Buffalohead. That's good, dude. All right, Buffalohead. Okay, Buffalohead. You're going to come in here with that fake camo? Buffalohead. You serious right now? Buffalohead?
Starting point is 01:17:51 Yeah, most of these ducks are just, just unheard of. It's telling me to hang in there like I have any other choice. Hang in there. Oh, Bufflehead. Cackie Campbell. I like the sound of that. Cackie Campbell sounds like a MLS, like women's soccer league star.
Starting point is 01:18:10 Cackie Campbell, for me and him. Cackle and playing Stryker today. Yeah. Come on, Cackie. That's a fun name. Yeah, it's a fun nickname for someone. Cackie. Bring your cackies to the game.
Starting point is 01:18:24 Oh, yes, dude. Cacky up. Campbell's starting. That is something in, upper class high school would do. Like, it's a cacky out. We're having cacky out, guys. Bring your sparries and your dockers.
Starting point is 01:18:40 That cackeye out's pretty funny, actually. Yeah. Cackeye out. Anyway, that's been ducks. That's been ducks. All right, that was ducks and stuff. I just saw another shot of that grouse. Um, all right, one more thing for me.
Starting point is 01:18:58 Begging you to put the grouse on screen. Yeah, one more thing from you. Then we'll do our reviews of the week. This is called, I'm a shame to admit it. But I'm hoping that you're going to say the same thing, Jake. Okay. I'm ashamed to admit it. But until two days ago, I didn't know that the Oval Office was oval shaped.
Starting point is 01:19:18 Okay. Did you? That's fine. I mean, I wouldn't say it was 100% positive. But yeah, like, I think I knew that as a fact. Like, that's why it's called that. I was under the impression that oval was an, had another meaning that I wasn't quite aware of that was more presidential in nature.
Starting point is 01:19:38 Isn't it funny when you just like make these things up in your own head? Like song lyrics, you just tell yourself like, I bet he's saying this, even though it's not a word you've ever heard of. Why don't we do that? Yeah. I said, Oval Office was like, a government word. Like, yeah, yeah, he gets oval duties done there. Oh, he's got oval status.
Starting point is 01:19:57 Dang, that's like five-star general. you said that out loud as a joke I was that sounds right to me that sounds good all right now boarding uh we're doing family boarding and next up we have oval yeah oval status yeah oval teens come on up um yeah oval office like like Catherine and haddy were just talking about it kind of like just nonchalantly the other day it said something about the oval office
Starting point is 01:20:22 you know shaped like noble and like wait what it was like yeah I saw someone. I knew they had like cool like the doors were like incorporated into the walls and stuff. I've seen that. You know what I'm talking about?
Starting point is 01:20:35 Yeah, yeah, yeah. But you've been to the White House. Yeah, not in the, not in the OO. No, on the double O. But I was in the, what I call it? West Wing, I guess. West Wing's where the president lives, right?
Starting point is 01:20:50 Yeah, yeah, it was like in the good part apparently. You know, I didn't see anything that crazy. I saw it. That reminds me of like, embarrassed to Someone on Reddit I saw was like, I've watched the office so many times and I just now realize this. And I was like, oh, I wonder what that is.
Starting point is 01:21:05 That's interesting. And it was like, I didn't realize that while Jim and Pam skipped their wedding to go to Niagara Falls, they actually got married then. I thought that was just B-roll of them celebrating their wedding afterwards. And the comments were just roasting this guy.
Starting point is 01:21:26 Like it was an extremely, upvoted post because everyone couldn't believe how dumb it was. Like you were excited to like, maybe I'm going to learn something here. Yeah, there's a, you know, subtle shout out to Michael's first child. It's something crazy. It's like, what? No, of course they got married. Yeah, everyone just like.
Starting point is 01:21:41 That's the whole point is that everything was going wrong. So they just ran out to Niagara Falls and got married. So don't feel bad about the Oval Office. I want GOSIS to tell us what they are ashamed to admit in the, but you just learned this thing. Yeah. Sometimes you over, you over, overthink something. Overcomplicate, yeah. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:05 They're like, oh, it's just B-roll probably. And it's like, no, no, no, just look at what's in front of you. They're getting married right there. See how they're getting married? Like, don't, this is called the Oval Office because it's Oval. I wish I could think of the square office. What are you, you know, like, I think it's the word oval. I think Oval is just sounds like a good word for things. Like if it was, if it was, if it was,
Starting point is 01:22:27 the Rombus office, I would have no doubt. Just shape. Just shape. Yeah. Feel like you know enough to start your own podcast? We get it. Feel like you don't know enough to start investing yet? We got you. Cooperators.
Starting point is 01:22:44 Get investments, insurance, and advice from someone who gets you. Terms and conditions apply. I don't know. I'll try to think of my own version. But yeah, Gossi's lettuce. There's just things like that that we just have like blips in our, you know, education or something.
Starting point is 01:23:04 Yeah. Also, okay, another thing. This one's less common. I don't think you know this. You probably can guess just based off of the fact that I am thinking one way. Charlemagne. What do you think of when you think of Charlemagne?
Starting point is 01:23:21 He's that like, I don't know if he was a rapper or what he is, but he's like, he hosts a really popular radio show, and he's, like, really condescending. Well, you nailed it already because Charlemagne, well, historically, Charlemagne was French guy back in the day, historically. Like a commander in office?
Starting point is 01:23:45 Maybe King, maybe something like that, way back when. Okay. I was under the impression that Charlemagne was a woman. Sounds like a woman's name to me. So we got a pretty good spread here. Yeah. So, Charlemagne, boy's name. That just sounds like, doesn't that sound like?
Starting point is 01:24:05 It's a pretty name. It's a beautiful name. Yeah. It sounds like Charlotte. Secret lies with Charlotte, Maine. So, anyway, those are my two that I'm embarrassed to admit, but I'm not embarrassed about the second one, by the way. I was too cool to know things about Charlemagne.
Starting point is 01:24:23 Man, it's hard to come up with on the spot, but I'll try to say something I'm embarrassed to admit. Yeah. That's the thing is like I didn't know these things until literally the last couple days. Like it wasn't like a, yeah, they're just new realizations. So if you have one, you just let us know sometime. I didn't feel dumb for not knowing this, but I learned a lot about apples recently. This is just just a fun fact.
Starting point is 01:24:45 We've gone over ducks. Let's go over apples. Can I, can we talk about apples in episode two? I got an apple story. Okay. Waits these episodes for Camo and apples only. I totally forgot about my Apple story. I don't think I wrote it down.
Starting point is 01:25:01 This will give me time to brush up on my Apple what I'm about to say about apples. It's got to rock your world. Really? Yeah, if I get it right. Literally, Catherine was like, what are you going to talk about this week? I was like, well, I got to talk about the apples.
Starting point is 01:25:11 That's the one thing I didn't talk about. So, perfect. Wednesday. Apples and Camo. If you don't like that, keep scrolling. If you don't like that, then I got a Friday group chat podcast.
Starting point is 01:25:23 Anyway, all right, reviews of the week. Yep. I didn't see any new reviews, so I've got to comment. Not. Also, our idea, we were going to, we were like, all right, Friday, group chat. We're going to upload this on Wednesdays. That way we can talk about what happened over the weekend on Monday. We can record it on Monday and then quickly posted it on Wednesday as soon as we can.
Starting point is 01:25:46 That is yet to happen. Yep. Just not once, probably won't ever happen ever. Life gets in the way. Life's hard. Matthew Rogers said, I had a dream that I stumbled into
Starting point is 01:25:55 the Ghostrunner's podcast studio right before you all were recording Monday's episode. You let me hang out and watch it live. In between the first and second episodes, Brad and Jake both had sudden unavoidable conflicts.
Starting point is 01:26:06 So Tywin and I had to record the second episode all by ourselves. We just riffed for like an hour and ended up deciding to start our own spin-off podcast. So Tyman, I'm here whenever you want to start. Is that where time is at right now?
Starting point is 01:26:19 You may be. Are he spinning off with Rogers underscore Matthew? I read that comment and it said unavoidable conflict. And I thought it meant that you and I could not get over some fight that we were having. That's kind of what I thought too. They could not stop fighting. Unstoppable force, immovable object.
Starting point is 01:26:41 It's unavoidable. This guy in time, they're like, so how's your week? Shut up, man. No! You don't know what you're talking about. It's unavoidable. I've been saying this for years, bro. No.
Starting point is 01:26:53 Get at it. Yeah. No, it's canvas back. Don't call me that. Don't you dare, you buffalo head. Is that what it was? Anyway, all right. Mine, this one's pretty funny.
Starting point is 01:27:05 Brooke Tabor, new ghosty alert. I'm a new ghostie, but I've always, but I've been binge listening for the past few months, and I always sing the theme song around the house, especially the every Monday morning with Jake and Brad line. And the other day, after singing that line, my five-year-old daughter said, I don't think I like chicken bread.
Starting point is 01:27:21 She thought I was saying every Monday morning with chicken bread. So now whenever I'm randomly cracking up, my husband will ask what's so funny. And I just say, oh, just old chicken bread. Love you guys. I like that as a nickname. Hey, morning chicken bread.
Starting point is 01:27:35 I also think I like that as a food. I mean, put it in reverse, breaded chicken. Yeah, all day. All day. And like, I think there's an opportunity here. Like the skin always has so much flavor on it. Bread and chicken's always good. There's something here.
Starting point is 01:27:50 little pop-up shop, a little drive-thru shop called chicken bread. You ever throw down on a little canes, uh, garlic toast, put the canes chicken finger around on top, dip it in, boom, boom. Garlic toast? Well, yeah, Texas toast, whatever. Oh, okay, okay, okay, okay. Um, all right, tell to me, Dan, again, I got caught up on garlic. I mean, it's, it's cane, so there's not that many ways to do it.
Starting point is 01:28:12 It's literally just take the toast with the chicken finger and dip them both in the sauce. Oh, that's fun. Together. Like, have it like a little half Sammy. That's pretty fun. Yeah. I've been doing such a good job. Like, I basically don't leave the house.
Starting point is 01:28:24 Like, I don't eat out anymore. Yeah. But, man, I might have to make a stop. That sounds so good. Really? I'm sorry, I'm tempting you. Just load up on Cains. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:28:39 Man, that sounds good. Yeah. Yeah. Fusackley's, man. We went wild on some foos in Gulf Shores. I think we went four times. You did? Maybe three times.
Starting point is 01:28:52 We went every turnover we went. Yeah. Oh, it's good. Yeah. I mean, you're right by the lows, which Tyler calls Home Depot. It's good.
Starting point is 01:29:01 Good times. Good times. Good times with Palm. Cool. Yeah, thanks for the comments. Thank you. Anybody that wants to leave a review, thank you in advance for leaving reviews.
Starting point is 01:29:11 Always, always uplifting, always kind to read the kind words. Yeah. Yeah. You guys are great. Thank you for being great. Wednesday's episode, we got Cammo coming.
Starting point is 01:29:21 We got apples coming. And then Brad, I have some get-to-know-you questions. You and I are new friends. I just have some questions for you. Just kind of some rapid-fire questions. I have some segments as well. So we're going to have multiple SEGs. We're going to have SEGs on Wednesday.
Starting point is 01:29:41 Wednesday, baby. Six weeks, six months, whatever it is. All right. We love you guys. We'll see Wednesday. See in Cammo. That's right. Yeah. Maybe you'll see us. Maybe not.
