Episode Date: October 30, 2025Austin Reaves CARRYING The Los Angeles Lakers Fires Up Gil's Arena as Gilbert Arenas & The Gil's Arena Crew return to Gil's Arena to react to Lemon Daddy turning the Lakers' lemons into lemonade as Au...stin Reaves has put the team on his back amidst injuries to LeBron James & Luka Doncic, dropping a 50 piece and 40 bomb in back to back games. They break down what Reaves showed them with his offensive explosion and debate if the Lakers' 3rd option is proving himself worthy of a max contract this offseason. Next, they react to the skid mark seen around the world as Jaylen Brown left his hairline on the court this past weekend and discuss the poor start to the season for the Boston Celtics as the perennial NBA powerhouse has clearly struggled without Jayson Tatum as they opened the season winless so far. They then break down another mystifying performance from the human highlight reel Victor Wembanyama and debate where the french phenom already ranks amongst NBA Superstars before breaking down another hot start from a European superstar in Giannis Antetokounmpo as the Greek Freak continues to prove the Milwaukee Bucks are a contender as long as he is on the court. Finally, the continue to break down the up and down start to Cooper Flagg's career as the Dallas Mavericks' rookie sensation looks to find his footing before highlighting 2 brewing beefs in the NBA in Shai Gilgeous Alexander vs Anthony Edwards and Ja Morant vs Kendrick Perkins. So we're going to start this show with the situation developing in Boston.
Seltre's been down bad to start this season with Jalen Brown,
down the fort while Jason Tatum recovers from his Achilles injury.
Brown had the internet buzzing after channeling his inner Carlos Boozer
and rocking the spray-on hairline.
Let's take a look.
So it started in the Celtics second game of the season last Friday against the Knicks
in the Garden when a camera caught Brown's fake hairline rubbing off on O.G.
Ananovi's jersey leaving a black skin mark.
Happened again Sunday when Brown's spray line skidded on Pistonsford,
Ron Holla's jersey.
You see it.
You see this thing.
Brown is now believed to be the first player in history to stay multiple opposing players' jerseys with a fake hairline in the opening week of an NBA season.
First person in his first person?
He is.
He is.
And now to the internet responded according.
Let's take a look.
So had to hit him with the Drewskiy's being amongst other slander.
So first question we all, did Jalen Brown set himself up to get clowned with his spray on hairline?
For sure.
For sure.
How much do you need it?
It's not supposed to rub off that easily, though.
So that's...
How much?
I think it's harder for him
because it's more of on a ballhead than it is here
where you put it on and kind of like wash it out.
You got to get that little wash out
so it's still a little bit black,
but you don't supposed to wear this in the game anyway.
This is supposed to be for photo shoots.
You know what I mean?
Get to get it.
Crispy get that little line and cheese and then, you know, you're here to go back to life skin during the game.
Yeah, he got to fire the barber.
That's like if J.C. did some shit like that to us.
Like, J.C. would be gone.
Man.
J.C. the barber would be terminated.
I will never see J.C. again.
Tattoo.
Huh?
Tattoo.
Or just shave it off.
Like, forget it.
Just go bald.
They got some weird heads about him white.
But didn't he have braids?
I'm trying to figure out what the issues.
right now. I'm saying, but he chopped it down.
But that'd be the reason why
a lot of them be losing their hairlines, because the braids
is pulling. Is it the bra?
So, that hairline,
like, for some of them, like, you know, some of them can't
cut it off. Because
the hairline is... My mic is trash.
It gives Mike trash.
Yes. That hairline is disgusting.
Or is there a Wi-Fi trash?
What do you think about Jaylen Bram?
Jaylen Brown rocking the spray on?
Hairline.
Huh?
It's tough, man.
It's tough.
That's his little six man.
That's his replacement for Jason Tatum right now.
You can't be smearing.
Yeah, man.
He thought it was going to help him, but it ain't.
It ain't going to help him at all.
Sad.
It's a sad day.
It's unfortunate.
Wait, didn't he go bald?
Did he end up just going fully bald with the Rick Ross?
No.
No.
Did he save him during the Twitter?
But I thought he streamed, took it off, no?
Oh, he did it?
No.
Oh, there was an AI?
Yeah, yeah.
Oh, that his line is weird.
The middle of Rick Ross.
I just want to let Jaylen know, though.
I've been supporting him, so I got the...
Oh, I thought you was gonna bring out with you.
Nah, I got the jokes, you know what I'm saying?
Just let him know.
Fuck the hair, man.
Just go out there and win.
Because y'all think it's a little trash right now.
We need to get you back.
I like the shoes, though.
Yeah, they're all right.
They're all right.
They're not.
Solid, you know what I'm saying?
Support the black business.
I thought you was about the black business in the United States
I can't tell him what to do.
I thought you said, hey, man, you're this.
No, no, my shit, my shit, I can't help you, brother.
Put a hat on.
See, if you wear a hat in the game, goddamn.
No, put a headband on.
Yeah, see, put a wave cap on.
Put a du rag on out there.
Then that shit going to drip on the headbag.
No, but you're supposed to put the handband in.
I'm about saying, yeah, supposed to put the headband on.
No.
Yeah, not the white one.
Yeah, the blood of hair.
He can only wear black or green.
He got to wear black or green.
It's all going to be black.
That's the end shit.
So Brown isn't letting the jokes get the best of him.
He addressed the situation during a Twitch stream Tuesday night.
Decided to pay it forward by asking for advice from another follically challenged star.
Hello, bro.
On me back, we got some real shit to talk about.
Cold red, my nigga.
Cold red.
It caught me slipping.
I need to know turkey and no turkey.
And I ain't talking about no cheese sandwich.
But it looked fine right there.
No, he's really, bro.
Oh, you little bro back.
So called LeBron. LeBron didn't pick up.
He left a message.
No, that's what I'm saying.
It's because his hair so light, right?
It's so light.
What happens is they cut it too low, then do it.
I'm gonna say because it's just all basically all been in Beijing.
But right there it looks fun.
Like it has to do it.
He has to do it on hair like this.
Everything looks Beijing from the beard.
And you dark skin, I already.
You're gonna keep that extra black.
The beer, you're supposed to do the beard.
No, because the beer, you can, like, you do it,
it kind of gets in, then you can just wash it out and still get that good look.
I like that he actually took care of his hair when he out there.
Like, at least he's trying to say,
up and try and looting.
How much he made?
How much you made?
How much you made?
Just buy a new head.
$3.15?
Plus the other company.
You signed $3.15.
If you want a mark niggas jerseys up, do you?
Do you, dog?
Don't worry about that.
He's $3.15.
He's leaving his mark.
He's leaving his mark.
He's leaving his mark on the game.
He's hard to say, man.
With that kind of money, man, nobody can really laugh.
I mean, shit.
He already finals MVP.
Right, you know what I mean?
No, he got too much money to have his shit like that.
No, that's what you're saying.
No, that's God.
Nah.
His daddy did.
His daddy did that.
You think, you think, um, you think White wanted to get rid of his hair?
Go get the tiger.
Oh, you think White wanted to get rid of his hair?
Yeah, like Devin Carter too, man.
This is going to get two years in.
He's going through the situation.
Damn.
All right, but let's get this thing moving, keeping it Celtics related.
Let's talk about the other Jay.
So after winning the chip in 2024...
The mic is popping.
The mic is popping.
After winning...
It's...
It's...
It's YouTube.
It's not us, ladies and gentlemen.
After winning the chip in 2024...
Well, we got a switch?
I'm talking right now, Gil.
Shit, I can't...
I already got the janky voice.
All right, all right.
We're cheering for Freddie Freeman until midnight.
It's good.
It's good?
Okay.
Okay, it's not the mic.
So after winning the chip in 2024, Celtics retained most of their core last season before being bounced by the Knicks in the second round.
But with new ownership and the prospects of the highest luxury tax bill in league history heading to this season,
Celtics made some difficult roster decisions to save some bread while Tatum recovers from his Achilles injury.
So Boston started the season 0 and 3 for the first time over a decade.
Tatum's been back on the court doing light work.
And according to a report from Shams, he has a goal in mind that he wants to come back this season.
So everyone on this couch is dealt with injuries.
Do you think it's a good idea for Jason Tatum to try and come back to the Celtics this season with the current squad that they have?
Damn, I mean, medicine is different.
Therapy is different, right?
These guys are coming back a lot faster than, you know, the previous, you know, decades.
But, you know, at the end of the day, like, I get the mindset.
Like, you're mentally locked in on coming back, so that means you're taking everything serious.
You're not out here just wasting this.
days, you know, you're stacking your days, you're attacking it aggressively, and when that
time comes, it's all about like what your team looks like, right? I know you want to finish
where you left off, but at the end of the day, you know, if y'all are, you know, 10th, 11, 12
they are. Yeah, yeah, you just, they will just say just rest this year. And, you know,
if they're in a playoff hunt and they're there like six, seven, you know, five, four, I'm pretty
sure that, you know, you know, come February, March, he's going to start creeping in.
What's just this time, Mr. B?
It's right.
So the thing that people don't realize is usually a right-handed player tears his left Achilles,
which is your jumping leg.
You know, Katie, the reason Katie wasn't affected because it was his right leg, right?
So it wasn't his jumping leg.
So even when if Jason Tatum comes back, because it's his right leg, he's still going to have his jumping leg.
So it's not like it's going to take away from what he does.
Like when he goes in and driving, he jumps off his left head, he's going to be fine.
We won't really see it.
We'll see it on little things like stepbacks, and that's where he's going to where he has to step back on that right side.
So it's going to be a lot of favoritism going another way first.
Probably he don't go that way.
He's going to go with his right hand.
He's not going to go left.
Mr. B, you've obviously done with an Achilles injury.
Do you think it's a good idea for Jason Tatum to try to come back this season?
I mean, just like you said, it depends on where they're at.
But it doesn't look like they're going to be in the playoff hunt or anything like that this year.
So if I'm Tatum, I'm going to just take my time.
But it was crazy to see him come back already on the court and jumping and stuff like that.
So, you know, I know when I have my Achilles, it took me a long time.
But today's with the training and the therapy, guys can definitely get back on the court faster.
But if I'm Tatum, I'm chilling.
I'm waiting.
So shot as a former lifelong Celtics fan.
Mm-hmm.
They had to leave a free agency.
Mm-hmm.
I moved on.
Difficult decision has to be made.
But talking about your former team.
There's no sympathy for me.
Right now, I moved on.
Bigger or better things.
I tell them to go over there to Columbia and get some of that stem cell at BBL.
You know what I'm saying?
Give some of that juice in the loose.
And he'd get back on the court and be out there.
You know what I'm saying?
I think that's the best form.
and just take the year off, make sure he's 100%.
And like it was saying, as far as him going left and right,
that explosiveness of going left to be able to go and change directions
and all of that kind of stuff is going to be affected if he try to speed back.
And everybody wants that ego boost, you know, to get back
and be the reason why the team comes back to glory.
But I think the overall, the Celtics are cooked with or without him.
I think they need a complete overhaul and change everything.
Getting rid of Drew, getting rid of Prozenghis,
getting rid of a lot of them key pieces that made the championship.
I think that, you know, Anthony Simons, he moves it a little bit,
but he's not a part of that real culture of what they're looking for.
You're playing terrible, bro.
And, you know, I felt there's one in three.
I don't like it, dude.
But when you come back, like it, say like if it was like 10 games left.
I don't like it
Where are you?
Just to play, though
Where are you?
I don't like it
Say it's like a playing
You can play with the rookies
In practice
Yeah, I don't like it at all
Because you still feel that shit
When you go to the hole
You still sometimes jump off two feet
And try to reverse layups
And all that shit, you feel all that, bro
I think you sit back and see what you got
Right now
They've shown who they really are
like all this hype about, they used to have him like, Derek White, making the USA team.
Man.
Shit, he's showing, he came and gave 15 points.
And I'm saying, I'm mad, I like him as, you know, as a role player for what he does
when you got the stars you need.
But right now, it's, when you give a person like that to a team, you get this type of results,
you know.
Yeah, that's why.
Obviously, Celtics are proud organization, not to say that they would ever consider tanking
or not perform as well, but they do own their draft pick
2026. So it may not
be a bad thing for the team to not perform.
I mean, but the East is down too.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
You're not down enough. They're not down enough.
You would think Boston with the pieces that they had
that they were saying around would be able to still
be able to carry this team to.
With no Tatum? Yeah, with no Tatum.
If they didn't get rid of them.
I bet higher on a team for Derek White.
Maybe 16. If they keep them to, they're good.
They're solid.
Yeah, they solid.
Yeah, they solid.
But bringing in the same.
No.
They got rid of cordonet.
They got rid of a lot of pieces that kind of kept them in the contention.
See?
I'm just glad, man.
For players like myself, man.
Like they always put these Derek White's over and people like me and shit.
Corner, boy, be needed.
Go get Cam Thomas.
That's what somebody you need.
You're not feeling the corner boy.
I'm not feeling this corner boy treatment.
Like, they're paying the guy like Derek White.
That and somebody like Cam Thomas.
Like, Cam Thomas playing on the 10 days,
bobo, shit like that.
Yeah, but Derek White was hooping, though, last year.
Because he got every, all he got to do is just shoot in the corner.
But you try to make him a USA team, put him on a USA team, make him an all-star.
He's like, oh, he should be an all-star.
Hell no.
But you also got to make those shots, and he was also playing defense, too.
He did a lot.
We made a lot.
He did a lot last year, though.
But he did treated like we.
What are you doing this year?
Yeah, I bet underdog the higher.
Four games in.
On the 16.
I'm just saying it's four games in, though.
Higher on the 16.
And you get it.
He got 15.
He had 12 at the...
He had a four point play with a minute left.
He had 12 points.
He hit the three and missed the freak though.
So Derek White average is 17, 5?
No, he's averaging 16.5.
16.5, good.
We round up here in the arena.
No, we're not going to round up.
We're going to round.
16.5 to 17.
He's taking five more shots than he did last year.
Mm-hmm.
And that's been the same as he did.
did last year.
Dumbass three.
That's the problem.
And his position as far as the role is higher.
Yeah.
He is literally the second option.
Like you are guaranteed the second option.
You're taking 17 shots average and 16 points.
It's crazy, bro.
Because now you got to do it yourself.
See, there's no doubling on Tatum and you swing and swing and you got to wind over a shot.
That's not happening.
You got to create your own money out there.
So basically, in reality,
Reality, technically basketball terms, Pritchard is the second best option.
Because he's really the only one.
I mean, he probably is the best creator out of all of them that he can get his own bucket.
Right?
But Jaylon Brown, you know, athlete, he's going to score.
But Pritchard is the second best option.
Once they realize, just put Pritchard, let Pritchard do what he does.
So to be.
Why to get his easier shot?
Should it be Simon's or a pitcher?
Will we be saying that if Brazegas and Drew was still there?
But no, no, no, not.
We're looking at the team to wait a minute.
I mean, yes.
No, we're looking at the team.
I think it's set up.
I think it's set up for him to, I mean, I think the way the team is set up.
He's a all-star.
I mean, what you got to do with Simon?
Damn, Simon Simmons, yeah, he's trying to play the trip to it.
I mean, he average in 50.
Well, look, that's not, let's talk, let's talk who.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
He fit the, the hoop talk is Joe Missoula is showing he don't know what the fuck he
he doing.
Joe Missoula has not put that team in position and changed the philosophy of how to get these new players involved more effectively for them to be successful.
Now, think about what we just said.
If Derek White is your number two and he's coming down playing the same way he was playing as the number four, then you got Pritchard, who was probably number five.
Now, he could be number two, but he's number three, and he's still playing the same way.
He's still playing like number five.
Jaylen Brown is playing like he want to be number one.
We don't know if he should be number one,
but he knowing that all right,
what comes with number one is they're going to double me,
they're going to take me out of the game,
and I've got to depend on my other guys.
So if your offense is not catered towards moving the pieces
and getting them in position to get shots,
Derek White is going to look like Derek White look, like I said,
like his hairline.
He's tired.
He tired.
He tired.
Man, it's the coaching, man.
When you look at it, there's only so much the players can do.
Somebody said, Derek White better than Swaggy.
He's crazy as hell.
Dope.
Dope.
Or dog food.
But they also lost a key player, though, man.
They lost Jason Tatum.
So I can't say Joe doesn't know what he was doing.
That was my night.
Think about what he was doing when he was out there.
Joe was letting Jason Tatum and Jalen Brown affect the offense.
Like, y'all play off of them.
Yeah.
So now Jason Tatum gone, you only got.
one guy to playoff of, now Derek White has to step up.
Next man up, right?
But you know how.
Now you got nothing.
And then you got the other.
Like, we don't wish nothing to happen to, like, your teammates or your injury.
Right.
But when Giel and him used to sit out, you know how happy I was?
What?
Man, that's the reason I went to the Lakers because Kobe was hurt.
I knew I was going to shoot every goddamn shot.
Fuck, this shit is crazy, bro.
Like that, this shit gets that.
They all just trying to play winning basketball.
And that's what Joe doing.
Joe got about their thinking.
We can still play win.
And it's like, no, man.
Yeah, they got to.
But they don't have a piece.
This is the sword without the hammer.
You're eye.
So what they were, oh and four?
Without the fucking hammer.
So what they owe and four right now?
He didn't land it in America.
Where am I?
What they're one in three?
One in three.
One in three?
We'll see.
It was like 26.
26, 15, 15, 11, 11, 11, 10.
All right, y'all, y'all.
Good luck.
All right, well, let's keep this thing moving,
but before we do, shout out to our production staff
for getting these mics fixed.
Shout to everybody in the chat.
It was very disrespectful to start to show.
Mike's fix.
But we have a very reliable chat.
Mike's got fixed.
Chad gave us love, so we appreciate y'all.
All right, let's keep it going.
So earlier this week, the NBA announced
Wimby and Janus were named Players of the Week
in their respective conferences for week one of this season,
which included games played from October 21st,
through October 26th.
So Wimby has got the Spurs off to a hot start
going 3 in that time frame
while becoming the first player in NBA history
with 100 plus points, 40 plus rebounds,
and 15 plus blocks through their first three games.
So the Spurs beat the Raptors Monday
to stay undefeated with the Alien dropping a light,
24 and 15 boards on 7 of 8 shooting.
So like I said, San Antonio approved a 4 and 0
tying a franchise record for the best start to a season.
Wimby has been a human highlight reel this season.
And after the Spurs posted this clip of him shaking a Raptor's offender while bringing the ball up to court,
Jamal Crawford responded, boy, oh boy.
And best-selling author and NBA Twitter legend, Shea Serrano, comment.
Siri, would have Jamal Crawford was also Hakeem Elijah Wan.
So Wimby's averageed 31.14 rebounds, five blocks and nearly two steals so far this season on 60-3680 shooting splits.
Obviously, a lot to love about Wimby in his third season.
But winner presses you the most about Wimby's game.
That?
Did you see that?
Did you see that?
I see it all given.
That's going to make the kids like him right there.
No longer lunchtime lover.
Oh, man.
That's really how he plays.
The kids can play like this.
Yeah, they're going to love them.
They're going to love them.
That's like even if he comes off.
It makes him relatable.
Because he can handle.
It looks nice too.
It looks.
I think for me.
360 later.
Yeah.
And he had the 3.
Did the swaggy.
I think for me what impresses me the most is like,
Like, just still, he's still unselfish, his patience on offense, being able to create his shot, his own shot, and defensively, how he can just control the temple on both ends of the floor.
And then it was a play that he had in Brooklyn when they were up three.
He came down, it was like the fourth quarter of up three, and he had a chance to shoot the three, but he took it back out and got an easier bucket, which led to him getting to the free throw line.
I just think just those things like that and just realizing who he has around him.
So Shaw, what impressed you the most about Wimby's game?
I think his attention to detail, I think he's getting great mentorship right now.
First two years, he settled for a lot of threes.
I think what we see now is him understanding the game more that I have a big man closing
out to me, majority of the time knowing that I can shoot the three.
And now he knows he can get to the basket with one or two dribbles.
It puts more pressure on the big and the backside defense.
You think about whoever's guarding him is going to be a shot blocker.
So you take the shot blocker out of the paint, you bring him out here.
You got to guard me doing my Jamal, I got my Hakeem, but I'm also just getting by you.
So him not settling for three-pointers now, it boosts his efficiency.
Now he can get to the lane a lot quicker, a lot faster, and now you really keep your dribble
to know that you can get fouled a lot more, and it opens up help side.
So the help has to now help on him now.
He gets Lobbs to Castle.
He can pass out the penny.
And I mean, this is, like I said,
Air Championship type of team just because of his leadership now, understanding,
listening to those people that has brought him in and said, look, do this.
You've taken way too many threes.
And that's affecting your efficiency as a big man.
You can shoot 70% from the field without shooting no threes.
You can average 38.
39, easy, just because you know that you're a Janus with a jump shot and some handle.
So if you think about Janus efficiency throughout the league, you're like, all right,
imagine if Yonis had a jumper, we all been saying that.
If Yonnas were working on this mid-range, but your ability to stretch, to your point,
Wimby averaged 8.8, 3-point attempts.
Yep.
Last season, he's 2.8 now.
So far through four games this season.
Yeah, I had something to do with that, too, you know.
Swagga, do you feel like you're responsible for this surgeon, Wimby, call him a lunchtime Hooper?
Yeah, when you, you know, I'm like a philosopher, you know, people listen to me.
But what I like also is, man, he's really fake, brother.
He got more blocks than some people's teams.
I think he's leading out of, like, five teams.
He got more blocks than, like, 20-some teams than the NBA right now.
So that's, you see what he was doing the fucking Zion was crazy, bro.
Get that shit out of here.
It's a freaking nature, man.
It's not even the shots that he's blocking.
It's the shots that God's taking.
He's changing the shots.
He is.
Like, people see him, and then they turn back.
Like, this is crazy, bro.
It's like, he's the dad playing with his kids.
You know, when you play with your kids blocking their shit.
It's crazy, bro.
It's too easy right now.
Every once in a while, we get players that just drop in generations
where they're freaking nature.
You got bronze.
Wimby, you know, how joy was when he first came in.
Well, you put him in that conversation already.
Shaq, one of those, yeah.
It's the term of the sheer dominance on the court.
That is, we always get, like, we always get one.
That's like that drops, that drops in the generation.
80s, like, shit like that, yeah.
He took, what, 37 threes at the same time last year.
Five games, first five games.
37, this year he got 11.
11 through four games.
Yeah, so.
I mean, like, it just, it looks different.
Like, if I got a guard year and you're taking three, you're doing my job.
Yeah.
Come down, building them out, you're bailing them out.
Yeah, going to beat me.
He's the okay, that's good.
He's in there trying to monkey dunk on me and doing shit like that, being 7.5, I mean, you know, so.
So let's talk a little bit about the Spurs.
Spurs are tied for their best starting franchise history with Aaron Fox yet to play a game this season, which is crazy.
But the wins are against the match, Pelicans, Nets, and.
Raptors, you play who you play.
San Antonio currently has a top three defense
in the highest net rating in the league.
So when you look at the Spurs squad, we talked about it
a little last week, now we've gotten a small
sample size, 4 and O so far.
Are the Spurs for real, or
Fugazi?
When you say Fugazi, like, what is
real? Like, what is real?
Like, what is it? Like, what is it?
I'm going to say top four or five.
Yeah, like top five?
In the West or not five, yeah. Not five, you're for real.
Yeah. And Fugazi is what?
Not there.
Like 7, 8, and then you like playing?
Playing territory.
That's Fulgazy?
Yeah, that's Fugazi.
No, no, no, no.
Because, I mean, if it's, because you're playing against a,
because you're playing against 9 and 10 to make it.
So that means you have to.
That's the Lakers, so.
That's Fugasey to me.
No.
They made it to the West Chavezianap of finals from that, so you can.
Top five, you for real.
Anything under that is Fulgay.
It's like, oh, yeah.
It was top five last year and we got swept in and then.
Furs have never started the season five and no.
They have the opportunity to do that.
And you're talking about teams with Tim Duncan, David Robinson throughout the history of the franchise.
You got win me this year, four and a year.
I'm going to say they for real.
Real, for real.
They're going to be for a long.
Playoffs with that, it's tough.
Shoshedamas.
Shoshradamus strikes again.
Strikes again.
The NBA, they got about two years left until he's going to win about four in a row.
He's leading the pack.
Like I said, they had a great training camp.
Like you say, they play who they play, right?
But as a team, when you got that next team lining up against you, you don't care about what they got.
You don't care about what they're going to do.
And I think that goes back to the Popovich system where they never really changed their system to adjust to other teams.
You had to come in there and you was going to face their team head on every time the same way they play.
They weren't going to change their offense based on who was coming in.
They weren't going to change the way they play defense based on who was coming in.
And so I think now that they got a defensive player like Wimby who can change shots, you got guards that can actually guard on the perimeter.
And they're playing guard heavy.
So you look at Deerrin Fox, they didn't move Dealing Harper to the one.
They say Viseel, Castle, Penny, and Harrison Barnes.
They're playing small.
And I think them holding the fort down right now in that aspect, it lets everyone know that whoever the next team is, y'all going to have to adjust to them.
And I think that's the best thing with how the coach is allowing the system to actually form.
And that's the best thing with a team is you don't keep changing things based on guys coming in.
Oh, we're going to change this lineup.
Some teams have to do that.
But I think, like I said, they're 10 deep.
And they can move if they need to.
But I think that those guys get it.
They go out there, play hard, play smart, play together, play defense.
And they affect the game.
I mean, you've got a continuity, too, with this first squad with Mitch Johnson taking over.
For Greg Popovich was interim head coach last season
while Papa was dealing with his health issues, but...
He Fox, your time might be up.
Nah.
Ooh.
When we wanted Fox, though?
Dylan Harper keep him.
When we wanted Fox?
He didn't want this young stuff.
He said he wanted to win.
Get on somebody that he could win with.
That's what he said.
That's what he said.
But Dearen Fox, you have to play a game this season.
Obviously got that four years.
We went without him.
We went without him.
And the way Harper coming off that bench,
like he...
Coming off that bench.
He said coming off that bit.
One is a starter.
One is coming off the bench.
One is a starter.
The other one that's coming off that bench.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But, right, I mean, he's not playing right now.
So, I mean, the way he's coming off the bench, he could be starting, Harper, is what I'm saying.
The way he's playing right now, if he's doing that off the bench, imagine if he started.
That's a great six, man.
Yeah.
It's a starter, too.
But you got to remember, one average is 26 a game.
Yeah, I know.
A lot of year.
I mean, I mean, I mean, I'm a clutch player of the year.
You put a lot of years.
You know what I mean?
I'm not going to do you.
A clutch player.
That's fine, but we can also...
We also got some young dogs, though.
We also got some young dogs that we can get something for him, though.
We gotta stop this, bro.
Like, we can't just get rid of a star this easy.
Just because he's not out there.
Oh, he ain't playing good.
They like to talk with NB, like the NB talk.
You know he's playing good.
You might not need you out there.
I mean, hey, that is a thing, though.
We do a little.
The locker room do that.
Yeah, for sure.
Until you come back.
Yep.
Just move back down.
Hey, hey, yeah, there.
Captain's back.
Everybody here.
Move back down the line.
Get back to your seat.
Get back to your seats.
Yeah.
It felt good up here, didn't you?
First class.
You have your what?
What?
I'm going to go back to 12.
I'm here now.
How much Harper average, what, 14, 13?
Dillon Harper so far this season.
Let me get that to you.
Don't Harper so far this season.
No Humper so far this season's swaggy.
I'm just falling while the internet.
How long is D. Foxx out for it?
The average of 15 a game.
55 rebounds, five assists.
Very soft.
In this four games this season.
This first seemed like to me though, like a really good regular season team
just because they got a lot of young guys that can play a lot of heavy minutes.
You know what?
Once we get into the playoff, that lack of experience,
save for guys like Darren Foxx.
Somebody's serious first.
I just looked to who they've been playing.
I literally mentioned all that.
My bad.
Let's see how they look.
It's still for NBA teams?
Not him.
I'm talking about the others.
It's the others.
Yeah, we know who's who.
Yeah, we know who's who.
You're Dylan, Hartman, he's playing Toronto, Brooklyn,
called me.
Like a rookie, I mean, the rookie.
They still NBA players.
No, I'm not saying, a rookie.
This is still an NBA team.
Rookies is, you know, like, a rookie is the lowest on the total poll, right?
So his 15 is 15.
Right, it's just everybody else, we got to, like,
when everyone focuses on Wimby, what are you going to do?
Yeah.
Because at the end day, the playoffs is, focus on him.
You know, that's where Fox comes in that because obviously he's clutch time.
He's there, he's their go-to guy, all that pick and roll stuff, him coming down here.
You're not going to be able to guard that.
You can't guard him when you're loading up back there.
So now he's got, where's he got?
How much playoff experience he got?
He don't need none.
He don't need that.
He got main character experience.
Story mode.
Yeah, I guess.
Story mode.
I went through this.
Yeah, so.
But then you, like I say,
If he's going to talk who, you look at if they do go to the playoffs, right?
It's the coaching that's going to prepare those young players.
It ain't the, when you face an OKC or a better team, it's, all right, what are we doing now that we know that they're doubling?
They're doubling and you don't put them in the position like how Tony Parker throw it in the Tim and he cut baseline.
When he cut baseline and we know that they're doubling off the point guard, what did Tony Parker always do?
stop right out on the rim, Tim dump it off.
If it wasn't Tony Parker throwing it in,
it was Genoble, he cut middle.
Why he cut middle?
Because we know that shooting guard can't stop and double
because you got Genoble, you'll dunk that bitch.
It was a lot of different aspects of understanding
what that is.
It ain't like Pop is not there.
It's like he's still there.
Tim's still there.
A lot of guys are still there can tell them what to do.
A lot of that is common sense though.
If you get somebody in double,
move to an open spot or find an open area,
like.
You said common sense?
Yes, it's common sense.
If nobody's guarding you, you see your man getting doubled,
move somewhere where he can see you while you open.
Hey, that common sense ain't common, man.
You know that, you know that.
We'd be trying to tell you common shit all the time.
You'd be like, oh.
If somebody's doubling, yeah, move to open, like get in an open spot.
But they don't teach that, they don't teach that no more.
If you throw it in to the big and you stay there, right, he goes double.
Where are you supposed to go?
That should be automatic, though.
You should go to the corner, right?
That's automatic for us because we was taught.
We was taught the right way.
Okay, so then how we go, okay, so if they're not teaching us.
They got to be able to do a regular pass and a post.
No, wait a say he'd throw it in, right?
But you're supposed to relocate.
They don't be relocated.
They don't know how to relocate.
I was watching the Golden State, right?
Weak side looked exactly like this.
Man.
Yeah, somebody
No what I'm saying
Yeah, somebody right here
One is right here
The other's right here
They're all doing this
One guy is guarding all three of you guys
I'm like like yo move up
One of y'all back
They don't need to know the simple terms
Of a slasher
Which is if your man
Takes his eye off of you
Cut in front of them
Or cut behind him
Right
That's when defender
had to basically get bottom.
That's what you put your ass in a face-in
so you can see the guy cutting
because it was always taught.
If you was in front,
they sneak behind you and they're gone.
So when you look this way, he was gone.
They don't even teach that anymore.
I can literally do this now.
That's because we'll shoot three.
And I can sit here now
and this manager will be sitting here.
We know he's still going to be there.
That's because they won't the three.
They don't even die.
It takes sacrifice for you to be the slas for stuff.
That's what I said.
They won't the three.
Both, no, but listen, if you slacks,
You know that you taking yourself out of the swing swing
I'm saying they want you all right everybody wants to stop
It is but think about what he just said all four of us is go to state or sitting out here like
Throw it here Dreman
But it might take two motherfuckers to slash you slash first I'm a slash second then it's going to be clay over here
That's what they used to do it's like all right just go just go but that's not happening in the
like curry
When Curry's out there, man.
When they go that way, you roll up for the thing.
He makes himself look so...
He makes that team look like they know how to move.
Like, he makes it just look like it's all working good.
As soon as he's out, you can just see just clumps over here.
They're trying to do something.
I was like, y'all, this is crazy.
Y'all don't even teach basic spacing?
And the coaches are thinking on the players who know what to do
to be the example of doing it.
So when they're not in the game, everybody's like, well, who's going to do what stuff was doing?
What happened to four?
That's the problem.
Do they still do four and oh?
Five on O?
Like, like, like, do they do those drills?
Like, four on O, five on them?
That's the problem.
Like, show drills, like, they only were, like, show drill was the best shit to, like.
I hated four and O.
I mean, Four and a whole is the most unrealistic type of basketball you can do.
Not for defense.
It was for defense.
It was especially for defense because the nail guy works.
It's the bottoms, right?
Because of the same.
So now you have the bottom guy doing things that he don't supposed to do.
Right.
Right.
He'll never go to that.
But it's teaching you that.
To hustle.
But yeah.
He's talking about you.
He's going to the game.
This guy.
He's fucking up.
He's always the same guy.
Because now he's going out of position.
He's doing too much.
Yeah, but that guy always gets in trouble because the guy he'll, he'll come to the middle and then, like, he'll leave.
And then he'll drop the ball down.
Yeah.
You might be like, oh, somebody's supposed to be here.
Why you're not there?
It's like, somebody's supposed to be here.
You hear my guy drops.
You right here are the middle guy.
You don't go all the way there.
The sinner goes there.
You're behind him.
But on 4 and O, if the big goes to the corner, you feel his spot.
He tries that shit in the game, not as a sinner there.
But it's things that happen in the game to where you'll be put in that position.
Yeah.
Sometimes you will have to make that extra.
I'm telling you.
That might not have to be that far, but you have to do it.
But we knew.
But we knew, right?
So remember, if we're in practice, we're doing four and no, and we know that I go out here
and then I get back and I go here and let's say they get the shot,
we know somebody's supposed to be there to get that rotation.
So we already know, oh, no, somebody's going to be there.
We're good.
But now it's like they're not giving that incentive that somebody's going to be there.
They're actually like, hey, man, let's do that.
In the game, that dude is not there for the help to help her.
That dude is not there to close out, take them off the line.
But it's different type.
That's why you think baseline.
Think about the baseline offense.
Why you think so many gifted guys kill baseline?
Because on four or no, that's the weak part of it
because those two guys are playing very different than they will in the game.
So when you're going baseline, this guy does too much.
It's easy to expose.
100%.
It's easier to expose.
That's where the 360, that's where all that fake up and go back
because he don't know what he's doing.
Because, like, oh, wait, do I'm supposed to help?
Do I supposed to drop back?
Supposed to come across all the way.
Come across, take that charge right there.
And he was like, I'm supposed to be talking.
You know, they don't run that many plays like that now.
No, they just see.
It's literally one-on-one.
We had plays.
I had so many plays coming into the league.
It's all this now.
Get out the way.
Buy up, back down, third-five, get out the way.
That was a lot.
No, now I'm talking about.
One-on-one pick a row.
They don't even.
Fast three.
You're going one-on-one, and there's a one.
a guy in the corner and there's a guy at the corner the uh the corner uh free throw line playing
defense and i'm sitting here like where you think you're gonna go you can only shoot a jump shot
this this this dribble past shit ain't going to work like this is this is this is literally
aAU basketball yep drive kick he driving kick driving the scenes kick driving the scenes
who's going to shoot his first drop in the scenes like hey we're in the zone man just
yeah we're sitting right here
waiting for that ball now.
I would have love this type of defense.
Oh, in this error?
I would have loved.
I would have to score in this error.
Like, you know how much energy I get to conserve somebody in running around?
It's so easy to score.
And you know how stupid the other guy is when you look and past your defender
and you're like, oh, this motherfucker is not going to come across.
As soon as I pass him, he either scared to get dunked on.
He's not going to take no charge.
Everybody can shoot, man.
But we were, but on defense.
Everybody could go out there.
Everybody can shoot him.
That's a different.
Everybody can shot four times.
You just shot four.
If I shoot you're going to get mad,
it ain't that.
It ain't that.
It ain't that.
Oh, it ain't that at all.
Oh, no.
But random is sub being to shooting that shit.
Soon as he, oh, he's like, bro.
Who is this thing?
We all get back on the defense now.
Yeah, we all get back.
Hey, he's saying nothing.
Hey, no more, my man, my man.
Bro, we used to look at the bench.
Like, is he subbing me in?
I know, like, you shoot the bad shot.
When you spoke.
You looked to the bench.
Just seen coffee yesterday for the bucks.
Walk right in, shot the three.
Hey, bro.
I'm like, he been sitting over there.
I'm like, damn.
Bro, you know how mad I would have been.
Oh, yeah.
We've been rucked up and down sweat.
You just, the last shot you took was in the lay of line.
I've seen it.
You think you're about to sit over there and then come in and the first thing you do is take a shot.
Take a three.
I was like, damn.
You've been sitting at the coach.
When we were doing that, you heard the coach say.
That's the only is the pressure in the world, bro.
Hey, man, you might want to get a little sweat before you start.
Yep, yep.
Pressure that.
When you take that shot?
Hey, man, you might want to break a sweat before you are.
You're going to come bring your ass right back out.
You better break a sweat before you shoot this.
You don't hear that today.
You don't hear that.
Shoot it.
Man, shoot it.
You get the ball, you watch.
Like, oh, shit.
I shoot it.
You got it.
I just got in.
I just got in.
I just got in.
Let me.
What?
Not in this error.
Yeah, no.
They shoot now and run back on the defense.
They don't even look.
Maybe you're just sitting there.
You're comfortable.
Man.
You got to make the right play before you.
You shoot.
You try to get a steal.
You got to go play in.
Yeah.
Make a nice assist.
Maybe you come out.
You could like,
I can shoot now right there.
Like, good job.
I can shoot now.
I got me one.
You do all the right shit to get to get your shot.
You got to do all the right shit to get your shot.
Hey, I can shoot now.
Right now, you're feeling comfortable all here.
If I shoot and miss, you know, they ain't going to take it.
You come in.
You come in, you come in make a nice little pass.
What?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Like, good job.
Don't let him give him to your hot player.
Hey, clap, like it.
Yeah, okay, he's in now.
We were waiting for you to come in.
He liked me now, okay, I can shoot, come on.
Yeah, uh-huh.
He didn't come here, fuck him.
That's why I love this show.
Yo, O.J, I got the back pick.
Set him a nice back fit and get an easy layout.
Man, that's what we could.
Get to the Frito line.
At least get to the free time.
Wiggins, he took four threes in a row without shape touch.
I said, oh, man.
Oh, Wiggins?
Yeah, he'd be on one.
I love this show, though.
That's why I love this show, though.
But back to the Spurs briefly before we
move on, we ask the chat, are the Spurs for real or Fugazi?
85% of the chat thinks the Spurs are for real.
And by free, we mean top four or five in the Western Conference.
So one more thing about Wimby before we move on.
So there's been a lot of discourse early in the season about the prospects of
Wimmy becoming the first player, since John is to win MVP and defensive player
of the year in the same season.
With some saying he's throwing his name in the hat for the best player in the world,
I know it's a little premature early in the season.
Most of this couch thinks Yokic currently holds that title.
I don't. I don't know. I never said that.
The best player in the world?
Never said that in my life.
Not MVP, not the best player?
Did I say that last year?
We said that last year.
Did I say MVP or best player?
Player?
I never put.
Best player in the league?
I never put Joe.
We held that title coming into this season.
But a question for the couch, if you had to pick between Wembe and Yolkich to build your team around for the next five seasons.
Listen to what I'm saying, the next five seasons.
Who are you taking?
I'm taking Wimby.
Mr. B, you're taking Wimby over Yolkich.
you had to build your team for the next five seasons why do you say that younger and
upsize yeah younger upsized defensively here's the second round pick too oh yeah okay you can't
okay yeah i mean look how he just ain't if he didn't get that many he cares like i'm not saying
yokin doesn't care about the game but you know yokes he's going to do a thing and this kid like
i know where he's going to be i know he's going to run the game the he care about his o gs like he puts
himself in a position to where it's like, yo,
make you feel like he really wanted.
Like Yokin, I don't know, like Yonkis just go play with his horses in.
I don't care, but he can't come back into a thing.
I just don't know, though.
You're good.
No, no, no.
Cheen, you like, you don't give a shit.
Like, Yonkish whole family.
No, no, he can't.
No one is that his whole family is basketball.
That's, they're a basketball family from the mom, the father.
Both the brothers, they are a basketball family.
His two brothers came to America to play basketball and left Yokchch by himself.
Right, right.
where he had to tap in because he wanted to come with them, right?
That's, that's their story.
So when people say he don't care,
it's because he don't, he don't have the same thought processes as you guys here.
But you go to their house, that's all they're playing.
It'd be one versus two.
They got their little hoop in the living room, everything like they're like frat boys.
Hey, Yolkitch's brother was at Summer League, not at Nuggets games,
well beyond the traditional time.
He was at Summer League the whole time, turning up.
Just watching games, love it back.
You're taking Yolkich.
No, the next five years?
I'm taking Wimby.
Okay.
The next five years.
So Wimby for the next five years?
Yeah, his.
Yokish, where he's at right now, you don't think that's sustainable for five years
compared to what Wimby will be.
I don't care if you're talking about what Yokish brings, what Yokish brings, Wimby can actually do it.
Wimby can average a triple double because he actually knows how to pass the ball.
Like, he has vision too, right?
So if he wants the average 10 assists, he can actually do it.
He can fuck around, have a quadruble double.
I was going to say, yeah.
Because you get the blocks.
So you're talking about a guy most likely this year or next year
will be the next person to have a quadruple double.
So when I'm saying I'm taking him in the next five years is there's going to be a game
where it's going to be some insane type of shit
that's just going to look ridiculous.
It's going to look like a 2K selfish
on pro type of game.
It's going to be a 65, 33, 15,
and some shit like that.
You can be like, is this a stat line?
You know what I mean?
And that's, I'm taking him.
So, Shalph, the next five years,
who would you rather build your team around,
Wimby or Yokish?
Well, shout out to Eamon Shumbert.
You know, let me, Grace's pod,
you know, where we asked,
this question the same way and I you know I said I mean I said wimby simply because you know
Joker gonna be at some point in the back smoking cigarettes and you're stressed the fuck out
you're gonna fuck a jama all you know what I'm saying like vlady divot used to be you know what I'm
saying stressed the fuck out I'm going with wimby him wimby french everything I don't think
joker brothers what people ask he know about the cigarettes don't let them catch y'all yeah they all smoke
They smoke cigarettes and they sit in the shower and go, what?
They sit in the sky box.
They're sitting there.
They're sitting in the sky box now because they whip somebody ass down to every game because somebody say something about Joker.
They get their ass with it.
I promise you.
They can't sit down there no more.
Y'all watch our back.
You're talking crazy about what you mean?
No, what you mean?
I'm trying to get him a mall, bro.
I'm trying to get him a mall, bro.
I'm trying to get him a mall, bro.
A fuck, back, back, man.
No, who are you making?
Who are you picking?
No, I'm a pick.
Both.
Both.
But Swagging and Austin, Sir, you had to pick one between,
this is for the next five season.
Man, let's close your eyes.
You're going to win with Joker with two, so.
It don't matter.
You close your eyes, you just throw a dart.
Whoever land on.
I just like win people.
Can you get my dart?
My preference is how he dribble.
I like that.
His style more than Joker.
Defense don't matter.
You still get a championship out.
I ask you, the defense don't matter?
I'm still winning, bro.
Yoak's proven winner.
Yeah, he won.
You can't disrespect him like that because he won.
And you...
And you...
You still gotta go through that man, bro.
Still gotta go through Joker at the end of the day.
So this year, if Joker doesn't average a triple double, is it going to be because of the system?
He's done it.
I'm asking.
I'm asking a simple question.
I'm asking a simple question.
If he doesn't average a triple double this year,
is it because the system that was set up for him to actually do those things
is no longer there?
Yeah, I think so.
I think so.
Okay, see, all them guys that was helping him get those assists
and him getting them long rebounds from niggins missing all them jumpers,
now it's like, all right, Aaron Gordon, you out here getting 50 now.
Is your turn now?
Okay, what we're doing?
It's easy for him to get a triple double.
Yeah.
He probably just ready for the point.
playoffs. At that some point, you just like, man, I can't wait to the playoffs.
Seasons shit get boring for niggas like him. People like him. I don't want to say
ain't word no more. Trying to change my life. We don't mind, Swaggy. This is Dill's Arena
presented by Underdog. Who, Bo. Has anybody told you, you sound like Frankie? I've been
up. I was in Vegas. I just got back. I just got back. What was you in Vegas doing? There was
nothing going on in Vegas? I had a golf tournament. I was with J.R. Smith and me and my dog.
J.R. Shannon Frye was telling me a lot of shit about you too.
Hmm.
What kind of, it's why I feel comfortable sharing.
Okay, hold on before you.
But just, uh, you got nothing.
Oh, I know a lot of stuff about it.
Before you mention him.
Here we go.
With the bigs it.
I got a lot of information on a new case.
I just want to let you know.
I got information on me.
And Shannon Frye never went to school together.
No, but all the stories he got,
he got it from the niggas I left behind.
No, no, no, no, no.
No, no.
No, no.
No.
They told them because my college experience was legendary.
I told me.
I was one of those guys that left my mark.
What you're done?
Yes, I don't, the shit I love.
Nobody should, I never said her.
I should have been present.
I should have.
I told me he said, oh, that's just Gil.
Gil, that's you?
That's Gil.
Give, don't even worry about it.
He got a good heart.
Well, no, with the ask of the Cadillac.
Be burned down the park.
What are they do to them?
Drug dealer stole his shit.
Don't even worry about.
He's cleaned up in the neighborhood.
Yeah, I heard you was like you pulled up outside.
I did a lot of things.
I did a lot of things.
You had the TVs, the truck with the TVs in.
Yeah, I was trying to get it popping.
You were playing like in front of the, you know.
Yeah.
You were playing like a porn on shit out loud for everybody.
A pornographic film.
Yeah.
With the TVs, all the windows down.
With the audio.
Yelling out people names in the class and shit.
Damn.
It's crazy.
Sounds stupid.
It sounds stupid, right?
What classes near the street?
In college.
I heard, I just heard it.
You know me?
I heard.
I heard.
So you didn't do that?
No.
Okay.
It was that lunchtime?
Oh, was that lunchtime?
Anyway, we asked to.
See, he was ready.
That's what you said.
Trying to get the move on.
Come on, who ready?
Hey, I was, who ready?
Was it a bang bro's bus before it was the thing?
Anyway, moving on, we asked the chat.
We asked the chat.
I don't know.
San-a-Sand-a-Luja.
Who's ready?
Would you rather take Wimby or Yolkins to build your team around for the next five years?
87% of the chat picked Wimby.
Very interesting.
We're only four games into the season, ladies and gentlemen.
But people have a feeling about Wimby, what he's doing.
So let's shift over to the Eastern Conference.
So Yannis' future with the Bucks may be in doubt, but the Greek freak has been living
up to his nickname with some freakish numbers to start this season.
Yannis put up 37 points, 14 boards, and five dimes in the Bucks season opening win over
the Wizards in just 27 minutes of a game.
action, followed that up with 31, 20 boards, and seven assists against the Raptors.
Mess around and almost dropped a triple double against the calves.
It was a loss, but he had 14 boards, nine dimes.
And that was just week one to get player of the week.
He picked up right where he left off in week two as the Bucks bounced back at home against the Knicks on Tuesday night.
NBC, coast to coast.
You already know, shout out to the NBA on NBC.
So Yonis had another dominant performance, 37 points on 17 to 22 shooting,
along with eight rebounds, seven assists, in two blocks,
helping the bucks improve the three and one this season.
Let's just look at some highlights if we can for a little bit.
I'm tired of Yonis traveling.
Some great freak, yeah, yammy.
You already know.
So in one sequence, Janice blocked the shot from McHale Bridgett.
Spread it down the court, as you'll see right here.
Went ahead, grabbed the rebound.
Dunked and Mr. B., I know you'll appreciate this.
In fact, we told the crowd
This is my city
This is my city
You're playing with his name
Playing with his name
So so far this season
Yannis averaging 36 points 14
rebound 7 assists
While shooting nearly 70% from the field
And 57% from deep
Mr. B, we're going to start with you
Our resident Bucks fan Bucks in 6
Does Janus deserve more credit
for his dominance in the Bucks hot start
this season? Yeah for sure
Yeah, he's playing without a real number two option.
You know, we had some guys down.
Kuzmah was down.
Kevin Porter Jr. is down.
Yeah, we just lost to Cleveland, but it was still a close game.
And I just think the guys that we have right now that's been stepping up and playing.
You know, right now, the rumors are that it's going to be Janus's last year and things like that.
So if it is, I mean, if I'm Janice's teammate, I'm definitely going to go out there and play my hardest and play at my best ability.
But it's good, you know, three and one.
You know, I like to try to judge my team after the first 10 games.
But I'll take it right now.
We need every win playing against a team like New York.
That's highly favored as Eastern Conference Finals or finals this year.
So, yeah, I'm happy, man.
He's playing like the MVP.
So let's shift over to corporate cemetery, Larry.
Oh, man.
I don't trust dot one bit.
I think their lineup, based on their record,
it's just, it's not appealing to me.
I think Kuzma, Coe, Anthony, Bobby Porter,
just torn prints, when mixed into the right lineup,
they can actually be a force without the tremendous expectation
and volume that they're gonna put on Yannis.
I think by mid-season, he gonna be burnt out
Because he's going to have to carry a lot.
And I think if those other guys don't step up
and somebody announced themselves as a premier number two,
his usage is going to be incredible.
Well, KPJ has been heard, but you got Ryan Rollins.
No, Ryan Holland.
Ryan Holland.
Shout out from my former team.
Ryan Rollis.
I like him.
I like him.
Step in that point guard,
replace the work from KPJ was injured in the first game.
That'll be free, boy.
See what he did to New York?
You see that number?
25 points and 26 minutes.
Yeah, right after you got popped in the mouth.
It was on.
What?
In his last three games, average is 17.
Point in a minute.
Okay.
A point in a minute.
That's a good opportunity for a lot of guys on the bucks, man.
I mean, the fact that you're playing with Janus every night and you know what it is.
You gotta stop letting Janus travel like that, though.
That's crazy.
We're going to talk about that in a moment, but I got some news for you as well after we talk about it, but let's stay focused and locked in.
I mean, no one's ever questioned Janice's, his start off, like he's, he always starts
the season, just like he always starts the season, dominating.
Like it's, no one's ever questioned Janus himself, right?
It's, you know, obviously, once he gets injured in the playoffs, it becomes a thing.
But for the most part, throughout the season, he's been carrying this franchise since he's, you
know turned into that guy um six seven years now like he can say he is he can argue that he's the
best player in the world like for him to argue he can argue that like his numbers are going to
match the argument as top two top three every year no question you can't question none of
this at all ever so it's just is you going to have a team that's going to be healthy enough
when it counts.
And I don't know how many players
is hurt right now
through these first four games
throughout the,
from the entire NBA right now.
Seems to be an issue.
But I can tell you this,
because you don't have training camp,
this is your training camp.
So back in the day,
these little injuries,
you got to sit out of practice
or sit out a day or two,
you know, because you got a hamstring pool
or some tightness in a quad,
You know your groin is hurting
You're doing it in real games when it counts
Yeah
Right and those little injuries like you're you're literally starting five players are missing games
It's fucking four games into the season
And you're already hurt
No Luca, no Antman
Rally Biddle Deerfax I mean across the league
Like y'all should
You better start getting that body in shape like your body has to be
Those muscles have to be
But that also says who's really working out too though
Yeah, it was really working out there, putting in the time.
I'm gonna say, yeah, we see it.
I didn't go to state.
They was going crazy this year in the gym.
Well, I said it, though.
I said Milwaukee's gonna be in the, I said top three, didn't I?
Yeah, I said three.
So first time me being on anything in Milwaukee's side, you know, I'm normally against, I'm anti.
Were your family in Milwaukee still looking for you?
I'm against them too.
Okay.
What do you do?
You didn't get your birthday kids?
What didn't do?
They know I love them, but I just like to talk shit.
But man, fuck Milwaukee.
I would never go to...
You don't want to live here.
Have you seen Milwaukee?
I didn't even show up when we played Milwaukee.
Thank you.
I like the addition to...
I came on game day.
I like that...
I come on game day, goddamn.
I sure did.
I'm not spinning.
You sure did.
Come on game day.
Come back in Milwaukee.
And I said...
I like our additions to Miles Turner, too.
He's been playing well for us.
So Corporate Cemetery, Larry, recently you said you had more.
had more faith in these Charlotte Hornets than the Milwaukee Bucks do you still feel
that way where are the Charlotte Hornets two and two right now they were three
them there were two and one they were okay there were number four before I
looked so they must have just lost but it happens yes I still got them there
lamella nice triple double still got them there okay but not a books like
he said um Mouse Turner is turning the corner which is
is a good thing for the bucks because they need him to play out of his mind for them to have
a chance. He's being more aggressive. He's not just settling. And if you look at what Brooke
Lopez is doing for the clippers, you're kind of glad he got out of there. So like I said,
you just need, you need other players to step up. I think Bobby Porter steps up. I don't
know how much I trust Gary Train Jr., but he's a dynamic player when you can bring him
in the right situation. Like I said, it's really dot.
always coaching.
It's how often can you depend on Yannas to carry the whole team and bring these other
players in where they can actually contribute to the winning and not just load management,
trying to figure out how to keep him at a, you know, at bay.
But if they keep playing, playing solid, they'll be all right, but I still got them, you
know, buck stops here.
I ain't fucking with the books.
And Mr. B, like you touched on earlier, obviously lost that game in the Cavs was close,
an opportunity to win that one, come back, beat the Knicks, who a lot of people think are
the favorites to come out of the East this season.
How important is a win like that just to build a confidence with this Buck Squad?
I mean, it's very important, especially in the beginning of the years.
You want to get your wins early where you can get teams that aren't really, you know,
jelling well or have that chemistry, especially with Kat, not knowing what's his position.
So, you know, that was definitely a plus for us last night.
Yeah.
And, you know, with us having guys down, but, you know, we need to try to get every win
we can. You know, because, you know, with some of the players that we have, you know,
we're going to have to put a lot of pressure on them. So they're going to have to really,
in these games, get ready for what's going to come later into the season. So this is a good
test for us. You know, early season test, you know, we got, you know, we got, uh, step and them
coming in, but tomorrow, um, you know, they're playing well too. So it's another test for
for Ryan to go out there, AJ, all these guys to step up. So excited.
But let's talk about a controversial moment early in the Bucks' Knicks game when Yannis did this.
So let's take a look at it.
We got the slow-mo of it.
Obviously, Knicks fans were very salty.
All right, here we go.
One.
Then Yonis make this play.
Three.
He got it.
Two.
Four.
Right.
Six.
Five.
Knicks fans thought it was an obvious travel.
Even Reggie Miller, Jamal Crawford, thought so as well.
Mike Tariko tried to offer the explanation.
But I got to ask the couch.
Do you think Yannis traveled on that play?
Can we see the play one more?
Yeah, one more time, please.
I don't know.
It's like when it settles.
He's dribbling right here.
It all depends when he...
He's still technically dribbling right here.
Now he got it.
See the ball spinning.
Boom, that's one.
No, that's one.
That's two.
Jumping off his left leg.
That's a good move.
That's jumping off his left leg.
That's a great move.
That's jumping off his left leg.
Y'all giving that dude on YouTube
that'd be doing the spin, hot leg,
He didn't have to this leg.
You know that should be all legal, though, right?
It's a good move.
It's very legal.
It'd be all legal.
That's the perfect part.
Regal and legal.
This is crazy basketball.
But you say it's a good move,
Swaggy, you think it's a travel.
But Swaggy, you think it's a travel.
No, I know Drew Helen.
I didn't teach him that.
It's just like me running with the ball all the way.
Then I'm going to just wiggle again.
I'm going to start doing shit like that.
You could just run just like this.
Had the ball, as long as this.
You remember, you remember Rush to do it?
Yep.
And they called travel.
Because it, huh?
He never, because it's where the, when the ball, when they, when they think you have control of the ball, it's two steps after that.
Where they think you have control?
Where they think you have?
So let me read the clear.
Where they think you have it.
So somebody like that, and he's letting it just glide through his hand.
So as soon as they see it like this, they're like, okay, he has control.
Now count it one, two.
So guys who got big hands and long dribbles, they get away with a lot of space.
So technically, NBA rules that players can continue to take step as the ball is spinning in.
their hands because the dribble has not been discontinued.
Oh, my, what are we giving?
What are we doing?
Okay.
What are we doing?
Okay.
Yeah.
No, no, no, no.
It's not changing the rules.
It's actually reading them and then applying them.
Like, wait a minute.
And that's what's happening.
Everybody's look at these rules and say, all right, after you finish dribbling, you get two
steps.
What if I dribble at the same time?
Can we get a basketball for swag?
And I'm like, no, actually, that doesn't count.
It's after you pick up the ball
So if I'm going and I do this
It don't count now it's one two
It's all these weird
It's all these weird
So if it looked like a travel
So I was the James Hart shit of travel
When they used to do the double
Because it's because they're not
It's the same thing
It's not counting
Swaggy would you like
Show it
Show the rotation
But that's the janky old ball too
Oh my god
You can't drill that shit
You can't dribble that you can't dribble that
That's the janky ball too
We're good
It's a all-star ball
That's got Kobe.
No, that was when we had to change the ball.
That was the bullshit ball.
Oh, remember that boy.
Yeah, the major fingers.
Kobe had to grab balls.
This is an all-star.
It's a whole star.
It's a lot of trouble, man.
That's a goddamn travel.
It's a goddamn travel.
It's a good move, man.
It's a great move, man.
Yeah, I might steal that.
I might steal that.
He don't know.
He don't care.
Shit, I know my mom.
Let's keep it.
We have another ball.
But swaggy.
He dribbles.
If you dribble and.
It's still spinning in your head.
As long as it's,
you can take as many steps as you can take as the other counter that I feel like at a
starting point it's just like when you're dribbling and running you're dribbling so the steps
I get it so you while the ball is dribbling just run yeah yes that's technically yes that's the
that's what I'm saying technically by the rule book yes but you're still guiding it though the ball
is not just spinning in mid air and yeah taking the ball with you that's the travel yeah because
under the ball was you have it
On the side of the ball, they never had rules for that.
That's crazy.
Or on top of the ball.
I mean, I'm not saying, I like that, though.
So you bounce it and you can hover that motherfucker over here?
Does that ball have any autographs on it?
You remember that move when they used to come down and be squeaking?
Yeah.
I remember it was somebody who...
You can't move that.
No, like if you have a...
Like, if you bounce it and jump with it and the ball is still floating, there's nothing.
So about that's what I do.
That's what I do.
That don't count.
I'm going to say, yeah, we used to do that back.
You should do that back in the day.
Let's just do the electric slot.
I'm dribbling and then I bounce a hot and leg.
None of those count because the ball is still on his height.
But that's not what he did.
That is nowhere close to what he did.
What I'm saying is like if I'm sitting here like this, right?
And then I go like that.
There's nothing.
I haven't done nothing different.
But he kept up and run though.
Do that and then take it.
One, whoa, whoa, whoa.
And then pick it up.
Then you picking it up and you're picking it up.
Boom.
No.
Nah, nah, no, you're putting it back down.
You put it back down.
Hey, yeah, can we rewind it again?
Like this.
Oh, shit, damn.
Right, it's okay.
It's okay.
Let, look, look.
We're looking at the blood.
No, no, no, no.
Here's one.
This is the one.
See the ball's not here?
Spinning it.
That's one.
That's the zero step.
That's the zero step.
The zero step.
That's a trap.
One, two.
Yeah, that's the five.
So the zero step is this.
Ladies and gentlemen, we don't need the LED floor.
We don't need the LED floor.
Now I got the one two.
No.
See, so.
He did two euros in one play.
So when you can't do two euros in one place.
So as the ball is here like this and this don't count, that one don't count.
But he's doing it wrong.
See, because Yon had his left hand.
So Yana had his left hand, right?
He left.
Yeah, now go.
He's letting, he's letting his go.
When you see him grab like this, at the same time as that step goes down, it don't count.
That's his real.
But he already took two steps.
The steps don't matter.
It's the ball.
It's supposed to be.
You're looking at the steps.
You're not looking at the ball.
It's a ball that matters.
But the ball never hit the ground again.
I came and do it because I'm programmed to take two steps.
Look, you programmed to do this and just lay it up.
Yes.
He's running more steps.
He's taking extra steps.
He's picked up the ball yet.
The ball is, the ball, what's the ball?
It's spinning in his hand.
When he does this right here, that's the zero point.
Then it's one, two.
So this, all this right here, none of this matters.
The ball's never going down.
That's what he's saying.
He's never putting the ball back down.
down. That's a travel.
No, that's not. That's a travel.
No. You see how I got you.
He took one shot. Boom.
He took one job. Boom. Boom. Then he did
a year old. Yeah, you can't do that.
He ran from you. What I'm saying is
once you pick the ball, once
you control the ball, it is usually
two hands. But you control
because it's coming with you.
And you're not putting it back down. Yeah, it's not going back
down. They're not counting.
They're not counting. They're not counting. They're
They're saying controlled is when it comes.
That shit went from boom.
Yes.
So he could take two steps before he control the ball.
You can take two more steps.
You can take 10 steps before you control the ball because you don't have it.
That's what you do.
You practice this.
Wait, what are you?
But he's taking it.
But he's double with one.
Yeah.
Boom.
No, he's doing the, he's doing a shutter step.
Yeah, the shutter step.
Yeah.
So shut up.
Put it down.
Shutter, shut up.
No.
See, you don't even programmed to think like that.
No.
That's all that.
But he's under before that.
So shut up before that.
Boom.
Now shudder,
Sutter.
Dead hero in.
He's shudder and then you're rowing.
Boom, shut up.
Yeah, yeah.
No, no.
But you didn't finish the Euro.
You didn't finish the Euro.
You got a whole other step to take.
How do you do this?
You're going to stutter.
Uh-huh.
And then...
You're not even programmed to do that.
You're not here first.
No,
you're not programmed to do it.
I told you.
You gotta do two more stuff.
Da-da-da-da.
Yeah.
That dick alone, man.
Long, man.
The year old, the year old part of it don't count.
Time out.
When he's going like this, when he grabs this, that's the same time.
Zero step.
Then it's one, two.
That's okay.
For y'all right hand.
The fact that you could stutter step, you can dribble, and then I get to stutter.
We all do that.
We all, we all, but we not take it.
But when you can stutter, not put the viz back down and take two most steps.
That's crazy.
Oh, you're cheating, no.
Yeah, that's a cheating.
We can't guard, nobody can guard that.
We're arguing for sure.
How are you going to guard somebody playing football?
What's that one do that be on the internet?
It's a long step.
Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.
I said you're making him famous, bro.
He's doing, yeah, making him face.
He's like, that's not a travel.
Come get the fuck out of here, my, nigga.
I got to hear that.
So we asked the chat, did Yonish travel.
74% of the chat think he did.
You guys are erroneous in that assessment.
As a rule state, he didn't discontinue the dribble.
Boom, that's the zero step.
So basically, once he does.
this, that step is
zero. Then it's
one, two. No. That's what I'm
trying to tell you. Boom. Here,
let's rewind it. One more time,
please. I'll tell you when the
first step counts in the
rule book. So none of these steps
count. None of those count.
Look.
Now,
that's insane. That's crazy.
That's insane.
That's insane, bro.
This shit is.
We're going to other way. We're going the other
That's a fucking travel.
Look at this.
Look, and it looks fake.
And look AI.
Two.
Two.
Look, three.
That's zero.
Because he has control of it.
Now it's one.
Right.
And left.
Yes, dude.
A third step is going to be like,
he's right-handed.
Think about what.
Look how crazy this look.
And I'm guarantee he not practicing this shit in practice.
After all that.
He just did this shit.
He just did.
He knew he traveled.
So, bop, bop, b, b, that's a trap.
That's a trap.
I did that in the air.
That's crazy.
That's crazy.
Here's a rule.
That's crazy.
That is crazy.
Here's a rule of something.
I can't even, that's, no, this is in snowy.
I feel bad.
I'm like, damn, I'm traveling like a motherfucker.
Yeah.
I'm like, damn, y'all ball.
Y'all ball.
I'll give you the ball.
Y'all ball.
It was out on me, right?
It was out on me, man.
If you're right.
If you're right.
The championship game.
You guys, if we're right-handed, right, and we're going for a layup, and we take three steps, which leg are we jumping off of?
If we're going for a layup and we're right-handed players, if we took a third step, which leg will we be coming off?
With gather or no gas?
No guy.
No shit like that?
What do you jump off of when you do one, two?
Your left leg, right?
I don't know.
Right?
If you take a third step.
step is the right leg. So when you're watching someone move and he goes, all you're looking
at is which leg is he jumping off of for the most part? If he would have jumped off and came
off of his right leg, that's your third step. I love that. He came off of his left leg,
which mentally you're saying, okay, two steps. I'm doing either two or four. Think about it.
It's not three. That's because he's got, his gather step is three steps. I was just thinking
You're going to gather step before.
Now you're thinking of the move.
It's a travel, but I'm going to do it.
I like it, though.
I like it.
Think about it.
I really like it.
He's right-handed.
He's right-handed.
For the move, it's illegal.
It's a stutter.
For him to jump off this leg, it has to be two.
One, two.
Yeah, there it go.
Yeah.
Ba-ba-ba-b-b-bomb.
Yes.
Oh, I want to do that shit.
Look what leg you jump on my leg.
One, boom, boom, boom, one, two.
Right, right there.
We're doing that shit.
Right legs.
Then they can't go on me tomorrow.
Do it again.
And just stop out.
Shut up, bop, bop, bop.
One, two.
Yeah.
Right leg.
There you go.
Swaggy, almost destroyed.
He was wearing to present about $100 whoop.
We do not need any balls to.
You got your caries on, man.
The dream walkers, bro.
You ain't got no cup on.
Swaggy, we got the temporary carpet,
temporary carpet.
Your skateboard shoes.
Hey, if you need one tomorrow, let me know, man.
Please be mine.
For sure.
I don't even know why you was out here.
I knew it.
Just play it off.
Play it off.
You made your point?
All, turn over.
Turn over.
So, if you fall like that, you travel.
You're trying.
All right, well, let's keep this day moving.
Today's show is sponsored by Rupp Bridge.
He was shocked.
Now, I'm thinking of it in my head.
You ain't no.
It's not old.
You are not at the football.
That move kind of color.
I can do that tomorrow.
I'm going to try it at the gym.
You can cheat like a motherfucker.
Go out there.
That isn't a travel.
Y'all just did it.
I'm good.
The sure.
We already cheat regardless.
Man, hey, man, y'all just did it.
You can't say it's a travel, niggas.
Let's keep it moving.
Today's show is sponsored by Rough Green.
Sometimes in life, if you want to get to the truth, you've got to look at the numbers.

Swaggy, we're going to get you some rough greens as well?
I need it.
Just a scoop.
I need it.
You need it.
You're good.
Play it off.
Ice pack, please.
Ice up.
Nah, you know, I'm all right, man.
Get them the janky more.
Let's bring it a little bit in my head.
Hennessy and Coke.
We're not like that.
Allegedly.
But let's talk about other things going on around the league.
So the Lakers started their season without LeBron as he continues to deal with the sciatica, also
known as the sciatica.
Salases.
And after Luca dropped back-to-back 40 pieces to open the season becoming the first player
in NBA history to open the season with back-to-back games of 40 plus points, 10 plus
rebounds, and five plus assists.
Who?
Flavini and Dez Luca Donche.
The Purple and Gold were dealt another blow, losing Luca for at least a week with a left finger
strain and lower left leg contusion.
What happened to training camp back in the old days?
But they still got Austin Reeves and the man known as Lemon Daddy has been turning the
Lakers lemons into lemonade.
Let's take a look at Papat de Mimon, also known as Austin Reeves out here cooking.
So AR 15 went crazy against the King.
Don't pass that.
In Sacramento Sunday night dropping a career high, 51 points along with 11 rebounds and nine
assists to lift the Lakers to their second straight win.
Reeves, the first Laker since Kobe with 50 plus points, 10 plus rebounds, and 5 plus assists in a game.
And Kobe put up that stat line in the game that went to double overtime.
AR did it in regulation.
Hey, no, don't disrespect, Kobe.
No, I'm just saying, that ain't Kobe.
It was a double overtime game, AR did it in regulation.
So on the second night of a back-to-back-of-home against the Blazers Monday,
Lim and Daddy showed that performance wasn't a fluke by putting up 41 points, five assists, four rebounds, and three steals.
Better than Lucas.
13 for 22 from the field.
So far this season, Reeves' average.
averaging 36 points, nine assists, seven rebounds with a 73% true shooting percentage.
It's a real white American way thing.
That is a pure, purebred Caucasian, American.
That's what?
If it ain't snowing, Austin Reeves ain't going.
That looks like me.
Looking like white swaggy out there.
Thank you.
I've managed too.
I need one from my hip.
So, Gil, we will start with you.
Yes.
Would it also re-show you with...
Yes.
With this 50 piece on the Kings and 40 pieces on the Blazers and back-to-back game?
You need ice bath, but...
I'm just saying, I think two white boys have to prove that you keep sitting out there with that side,
because we're good over here.
I'm just saying when the key come back
he got a lot of pressure
in this first two games.
Nah.
Hey, hey, hey, what did Luca have?
He had, what?
401 and 49.
And then he went and then he was like,
all right, AR, you do your day.
What did they all have?
51.
51.
51?
And 41.
Hey, bra.
It's your turn.
We're going to sit out this first few games.
You better have 60 and 70.
Y'all get rid of brown.
No, I'm just saying, like, listen, right now.
Gil's stirring the past.
It shows that he can, he can carry the scoring load.
He can carry the team.
Like, he's a playmaker.
Like, we only seen him in his roles as second option, third option,
but the first time we get to see him as a true number one option.
And he's scoring, rebounding and passing,
defending a little bit.
So they don't have to max him out.
This ain't his first time doing this, though.
It's not his first time, but.
I know, that makes it better.
It's ain't my first time.
He got the mindset that I want, like,
Derek White.
Derek White to have.
Like, nobody's out there.
This is what you're supposed to do.
Like, he likes this movie.
He's not going to shy away.
shooting or playing this game.
Shit, he, man, pay that, man.
You may recall Reeves had 45, 7 and 7 back in February
against the Pacers.
No, the burn.
That man, man.
Every time there's no, the first star, he turns into the fuck.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
He's that guy.
He ain't playing today for real?
All right.
All right.
He gets excited.
He gets excited.
Like, it shows, man.
I mean, they really do have a number.
a real number two option.
He literally, a number one option.
I mean, yeah.
Like, real.
If you want to, I mean, I don't know.
But he could really be the number two.
No, what I was in.
I don't know if he's a number one option that when we're talking about putting people
in the seats and you're carrying a rank right on your shoulders.
Yeah.
But he's a small market number one option, right?
He's a big star number two.
But the fact that he's even being considered like number one option, you have to max him then.
Like he's your, you know, you're talking about.
Huh?
That comes to him.
He's a dog, though.
You know, he got a complexion.
I don't know if I could let a white boy give me 50.
That's why I'm talking, man.
You can't let the what?
Lori Mark and also dropped the 50 piece recently, just pointing out.
This ain't even about race, but.
I don't, I mean, it's not about race yet.
We get what you're talking about.
But it's just, it's 90, since the day of Michael Jordan.
They'll be careful.
Be careful.
No, since Michael Jordan.
It's snowing.
It's snowing.
No, no, no.
It was snowing in there.
80s and the 70s, but once they merge, once they merge, I think Detroit Pist is kind of
literally about here. The Negroes is here. The Negroes.
Swaggy, I thought you was going to count. I need some money. I'm suing for $150.
It's the work accident. Huh? The work accident. My neck and my back.
I think I need the back of it. I'm just be honest. I got sciatig. I didn't see none of that.
So I got swag. I didn't see it. I didn't see it.
Underdog has offered you a cookie and a free pick-em.
I'm just saying, I'm pretty enough to help make this situation right.
You get a free pick and you please whatever you want.
Chad, I just see you on the ground.
I thought you were doing push-ups.
Because by the time I get to go back and look at it, we don't edit this shit out.
How about that?
So it never happened.
Never happened.
This was AI.
That was an AI fall.
Give me a cookie, man.
A very delicious cookie, though.
I know what you want.
Thank you.
Get that butter at her hand and see, man.
He had two bottles that hit it.
Make it two.
Give him the VSOP.
He ain't going to say nothing.
GEN.
It never happened.
But over to this side, so Mr. B, you said you would feel uncomfortable letting a Caucasian
Hooper give you a 50 piece.
No, I'd say it wouldn't happen.
I mean, the fact that, but it, you know, Sacramento had two LA dudes on the team.
So I just sit home.
Exactly.
We played for UCLA, so he has LA connections.
Just saying.
Fired.
Shots fired.
Shots fired.
They don't care.
Huh?
They should.
Those players don't care.
They should.
This the NBA.
I never seen Zach, like, really care about.
He about to get a max contract just off that.
So you...
But when have you seen Zach Levine cared?
It looked like he cared about basketball.
Well, he's like skinned.
We traditionally don't look like we care about things.
Hey, y'all would like Zach Levine in Milwaukee, too, by the way.
Deep down, we do.
We really care.
A white player had that kind of green light freedom.
Just...
It's been a long time since we're boarding from Utah.
from Utah.
You're not talking who, man.
Twenty-two free throws, man.
That's funny.
That makes it.
Very aggressive.
Very aggressive.
Come on.
That's what he does.
The day after Lucas is to say, I'm a chill, and we're going to give you 22 free throws.
Stop out.
But that's what he's a foul baiter.
I mean, he's going to get you to jump and do all that, like, dribbling in front of you, he
going to stop like he plays the foul game.
So.
So was that 51 realistic?
Yeah, it was really like a 30-
Was that like a 32?
Was that like a 32?
Hell no, you're not going to have the fuck out of me
and just try to this continue my free
You asked for some
You asking somebody who had 50 in league
Getting 50's 50
If it's up there, huh?
You're getting favor now
You get in favor?
You got some free throws?
Getting favor.
So what about the 40 though?
Same.
How many free throws he had in the 40?
I think he had like 14.
So that's what I'm just saying
50 and 40.
14 and 20.
But May 12 of them,
21 and 22 again.
Unless you know, like, he understands how to get filed.
Very aggressive.
Saw the weakness in the King's defense that I'm going to exploit it.
Yes, I agree.
Well, I mean, the Lakers could be doing a lot more if somebody was,
gave up that space for the Lakers to make some other acquisitions in the summer.
Is that somebody a top six player in the NBA based on the MVP vote last year?
Y'all saying, and these two, you know, clear-colored guys coming here,
could come in here and do what they're doing.
Exciting whites.
And you know, you had to settle for DeAndre Aiton,
which I know a lot of the Laker fans do not accept.
We do not want him there.
We accept him.
So it's like,
we're starting to embrace him.
I don't want him here.
I saw his hair.
You're a buck.
We don't care what you want.
Another thing, you are a buck.
So if you could get something better than that,
you go get marketing.
You know what I'm saying?
You could have brought marketing over here.
Walker Kester was an option.
You could have got a couple of other, you know what I'm saying?
It's like you could have done more.
I like what you're headed.
You don't know this is Los Angeles Lakers, right?
You can bring more, there's a reason Jerry West.
Hey, just tell them, bring more year old.
We're more clear guys over here, man.
Clear.
The color wasn't right yet, right?
The seasoning wasn't in and that.
So he couldn't get over that the barbecue.
There was having the barbecue on the other side, right?
The other team, so he only had one championship.
Once he started, once he started putting Flavin in his food, championship.
That's when the Laker Dynasty started kicking.
And right now, looking like we get a little bland.
We got, yeah, we got a season up the chicken a little bit.
I mean, but Austin, Austin Reeves is a little.
Yeah, he's a little, yeah.
Yeah, he's a little.
Yeah, he's like flavored chicken.
Yeah, he liked Marcusole.
Hell no.
He probably got a black girl.
No, no.
He'll be for sure got a black girl.
Hell no.
Wait, he got a black girl?
And no.
Wait, wait, Lemon Daddy got a black girl?
And no.
Look, Mr. Saul had a black girl with golds.
Listen, man.
We too, Carlos.
For sure at the cookout plan down.
This shit we don't look at.
He brings his own place to the good guy.
Yep.
It's called pulled pork.
We only get them.
It's called pulled pork.
We only get them tight.
Austin Reeves is pulled pork.
From Caruso.
Pull it is shredded meat.
Nah.
Hey, man.
He wear a headband.
Chill.
Headband.
Headband, chill.
He's pulled pork.
If I find out Austin Reed's got a black.
He's doing snatches.
You're not getting that nowhere.
Right.
Matches.
Yes.
That's back.
I mean, he eating collard greens.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's good.
Potato salad.
No.
With mayonnaise.
No.
That's the raisin.
No.
That's the raisin.
What is you talking about?
You got a shrette.
No, that thing is right.
He had service moves.
Dog.
He has service food.
Hell, no.
That man is that.
He has a service phone.
He got the turkey ass.
Snorbit.
He was showing the car with the homie saying all the,
me saying all the n-word songs.
They're singing all the songs compared.
Austin reads is at Cracker Barrow.
No, Cracker Barrow.
Oh, you good.
Cracker Barrel.
I said Mr. Lawson.
Hell, no.
After Slawson, that was St. Thompson, man.
That was St. Thompson.
That was Clay.
He over there sounded like Braxton.
What are we doing here?
What are we doing here?
Oh, my God.
Come on, man.
Y'all got him too much credit, man.
Let him and Duddy.
After Sloth and Swarton, Swamp,
You want me five.
Have you ever had lemonade with no sugar in it?
I like it kind of less sugar.
No sugar.
Lemonade with no sugar.
Man, you order it, it looked good till you taste it.
You're like, ah.
That's lemon water.
You all drink that.
It helps to digest.
Trust me.
I'm in a lot of snow over here.
We go to the snow, snow house, and you're like, hey, it's a lemonade.
With a sugar.
You got no sugar in the lemonade?
What are we doing?
For sure your kids got the silver tea.
got the silver teeth.
I know you're gonna go there.
Don't they?
I know, well, nice.
Nice, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's the sugar mouth baby right there.
That's the COVID baby.
That's that.
I'm gonna care of my.
That's that you gotta pick up your,
you gotta pick up your candy if you know what I mean.
You gotta pick your candy around here.
You know, when your homework, you know,
drop me off that little baggie,
you gotta pick that up.
You can leave that around.
That would be in there.
You know, they call you Uncle Gil, right?
I just love her and kids.
You know, I don't want to be Uncle Gil to that one.
No connection.
That's why you flitch that.
Because the bail money, that's bail money for sure.
Did bring a fake knife into the theater and stab you repeatedly.
Stab me repeatedly.
Excellent for him.
Damn.
Chuckie.
Excellent.
It's history.
Like he was practicing it.
He was like, he ain't going to do me like he did Nick.
That's what he was doing me like he did Nick.
I got some food.
Like, what is he watching?
I think of a little Nick bike, like, get this shit out of him.
He ain't going to do that to me.
He ain't going to do that to me.
He ain't going to do that to me.
Yeah, I got him.
Take this.
So, Mr. B, I think you'll appreciate this.
We asked the chat, would they let a white boy drop 50 on them?
73% of the chat says they were not allowed that to happen.
Okay, new one.
Do you think today's white boy would drop 50 on BJ?
Would Austin, Austin really drop 50?
There's only two.
I know.
We already know one will.
With the modern NBA talking.
Payton Pritcher?
Luca for sure.
No, say white American.
Oh, white American?
So that's Payton Pritcher or?
Give me 50 today?
If Payton Pritcher was number one option.
Tyler, he's got all the shots, all he wants?
No, he's not.
He's giving you 50.
No, he's not.
No, yes.
He gave him 90 in the Drew, I think.
90?
What?
That gave me 90.
What?
But I don't put it back.
You believe that?
He paid.
There was a Drew versus Seattle game.
Yes, he, for sure.
I did not play that game.
For sure he did.
Oh, I thought he did.
For sure he did.
Look, you was ready to just do it.
He just won't, look.
I thought he had big thing in that game.
It wasn't me.
He was cooking in the truth.
It must have been against Casper wearing him.
He pays players to just play defense.
Like I'm paying you coming here and play D.
Just, that's all you do.
He's paying people.
So that means it's a job for them.
And he, I did cooking.
I'm paying you for your D.
Yes.
Whoa.
Whoa.
That's what he's doing.
I don't pay.
For your D.
Come on.
There we go.
Whoa.
There we go.
Whoa.
There you for it.
Guard me.
Whoa.
PG 13 show.
Whoa.
No.
He tells the world he pays for the D.
He's like he pays the defense.
Hold on.
Underdog has rescinded your free picker, Swaggy.
You were on your own now.
You were on your own.
Whoa, you're comfortable saying it like that?
I'm going to say it multiple times.
I'm trying to help me to him, right?
You're like, I want to pay for the D too.
And you're like, you say,
You ain't going to give me no opportunity to pay you.
You can read the poll results.
I'm going to tell you.
As of right now, Brandon Jennings fan can't help you on this poll right now.
Damn.
Yeah.
A very dedicated fan.
He is not going to be able to fade this.
Right now it says 92% is saying yes.
It says 100.
That white America would drop 50 points on BJ.
He had 30 dropped on them in the loop.
98% now.
Okay.
You know, lucky for you, it can't go to 100.
No, that's what I don't care about that thing.
99%.
So that's the highest it can go.
99% says they will drop 50 on you, all of them, whoever it is out there.
Gil's messing with you.
It's only 77%.
Oh, you've seen 77?
Oh, my bad.
I was adding both numbers together.
Oh, my fault.
Because both together is not.
He was 90, my bad.
My bad.
But let's get back to our Austin Reeves.
I was not 70 plus 20.
So Austin Reef signed a team-friendly four-year, $52 million extension back in
2023, had a much bigger offer from the Spurs, did not want to take his talent to San
Antonio, and turned down the Lakers' four-year, $89 million extension offered this
off-season to bet on himself with a player option this summer so he can now opt out
to the final year of his deal this off-season be eligible for a five-year max worth $240 million
I'm not paying him that much, I don't know.
Oh, if Reeves proving, he's worth a Mac deal.
He gets him like that. Five-year, 2401, and back-to-back-back-out.
Yeah, that's the problem.
That's a lot, though.
Yeah, you can't do that.
Average is 36, 9, and 7 rebound.
I mean, bro, he just had 50 and 40.
Oh, man, I get it.
Come on.
Okay, if he makes an all-star, if he makes an all-star, all-eastern.
NBA, you can kind of like
What I'm saying is now you're talking about
a real second option, like
it's a stand second option. It's not
like we get to talk about it. Like,
once you made that all-star game,
all-N-B-A, you're stamped as a second option.
Swaggy, he will get the fan vote.
You will get the fan vote.
No, not 240. I don't get it.
I know, I'm just saying, like, he's going to need that
stand.
But the Lakers is not paying him $2.40.
Hell no.
Well, the Lakers not going to be good enough
for them and get there for that.
Are you afraid of playing a team for real of the Lakers with Austin Reeves as your number one?
No, no, number two.
No, he's saying right now, Luca out.
Are you afraid?
Yeah, no, but I'm pretty sure the last two teams weren't afraid he didn't he had.
What again?
50 and 40.
But that's why they, that's why he had 50 and 40.
Because we're like, hey, we just got Austin.
All right, he went off.
Hey, man, he went off.
I did, I like Austin.
51 against the Kansas Sacramento on the win.
What is the max, is the max three something?
Max three-something?
I think that might be Super Max.
Oh, he even talking about it.
No, he's worth $2.40 then.
Five for $2.40.
All right, man.
No, $2.40.
Remember, the superstar is $100-something million in front.
If you get paid like this nowadays, it's doubled, it's doubled.
I'm going back.
I'm going back.
As a reminder, through four games in this season, 36 points.
The day I see.
Nine assists, seven.
What is, okay, what is, Kenne Brown?
Jayon and Brown is three what?
What is Jayon Brown?
3.15, I think.
15.
35.
If he signed the 5 for 315, the Tatum was the 5 for 3.44.
That's what I'm saying.
So the number 240, yes.
Jayne Brown is not even the highest paid.
So he's, look how far away he is from Jaylon Brown.
Yeah, and just remember, like, the number is going to keep going up.
So that 240 looks like a lot of it.
Like, he's averaging, if he's averaging 22, 23, like, that's a good number.
Because it's only a max.
It's not a super max number.
Jay Lamont got the 5 for 304
5 for 304
Hold on
That goes back to the Cam Thomas
Conversation
Yeah, that's all
No, it does
No, it does
No, it does, that's the same thing
Come on
Tomas is average in 24
In deep,
I have 40 and zero
Stop, man
But they owe four
That's stop
For real
They ain't one year, right?
They're stop
That is not the same thing
That is what I was going to ask you earlier
Nick, Nick, I was going to ask you
It's not the same thing
I was going to say this
Did this Cam Thomas
start for Brooklyn?
Yes.
So he's starting.
25 points, 3 assists,
two rebounds per game,
and four games a season.
So y'all know, when you get off early in the season,
that establishes your points per
game throughout the rest of the season.
So now all you got to do is go out there
and get 30 a couple times.
And you can get some back.
And you can keep that 30 a game up.
That's how Shea always been able to keep that 30
a game.
So when he starts hot early,
you establish your points per game
based on the first four, first five games.
Just like Maxie.
You talk about Maxie.
be an MVP candidate based on
where he's putting his shit up right now
he can be averaging 33
leading into like 16 games
so if them and daddy don't come out
and keep this shit up what are we
saying now five games from now
if he don't put up the same numbers
five games from now
and we know that
so then we're just over
we're overhyping this performance to give him
two quarters based on his numbers
you're showing what he is he's showing what he
really is if you give him
team he's showing you that he can carry your team and two games don't look selfish but too what
i do you have 40 when they showed it everybody seen everybody that had 40 which one stood out
and said we all you all didn't have to do that right bro 22 free throws everybody pointed out
20 20 free throws and not showing you're not showing me game but you're showing me you can get to
the line what about what about this what about 40 40 a 40 ball no assist what's that
What about it?
Buckets.
Is that bucket?
That's buckets, right?
How your 40 looks.
And it's the same.
You're doing the same move this game.
So here's the other side of it though.
First two games of season with Luca playing.
Luca had the back-to-back-to-back 40 pieces.
Austin Reeve was averaging 26, 10 assists, 6 rebounds.
How many assists?
10 assists.
He's averaging 10 assists.
So when I say 26, your 10 assists is averaging anywhere from 10 points to 30 points.
points. That's what, that's everything he's bringing in.
Anywhere from 20 to 10 to 10 time.
20 to 30 points.
Hey, that's what I said.
20 to 30 points and 5th.
Well, he was having 26 in 10.
26 10 and 6.
Listen what I'm telling you.
In those first two games against the Warriors in the Temperwell.
Is adding to the team 20 to 30 points of assist with the 26.
Yeah.
Again.
Yeah.
Cam is averaging 24 and 3.
So this is all he's bringing.
So he's bringing it's 20-something.
He did the same thing.
Kari has the same thing.
So that's all he's bringing.
But Kari also had LeBron, though.
But Kari also had LeBron, like, even all that out.
So he was, I'm just saying
LeBron was able to even all that out.
But I do like Austin Rees, man.
I do feel like he is better than Cam Thomas right now.
Undrafted, I believe that would be the largest contract
for an undrafted boy.
He's undrafted and he's at 90 points.
Who's at 240?
Who's at 240?
Is Austin Rees better than Tyler?
Yeah.
How much your Jordan pool get paid?
You good.
You're good.
I'm trying to move.
120, I think it was like the 4-4-1-20.
Austin Reed's Barrett and Tyler Hero.
If Austin Reed is on Miami and he got the, he was the number one option like Todd of Hero?
We're seeing it.
Tyler Hero's a number one option over there.
Has he had a 51 and a 40-something in tennis?
No!
He ain't played like this.
this as the number one option. Jordan pool four for 140. But he's signed that in 2022. So
the bread is gone up. Yeah. What is Garland? What contract is Garland on? Is he better than Garland?
No, I'm not, I'm not just want to see around that number. You have disrespect to Shook.
No, I'm not saying he's better. I'm just saying what is the number? So five year one ninety three
could be worth up to 231, but he signed. Is he better than Max? He's not good. He's better than Max.
He's not better than Max. Max is going to be super max. Max is going to be super max.
Like he's, you know, that's super, that's three, that's in the threes.
How's what I'm saying?
But we're talking about an undrafted player who was, what, the, what, was like, what, a third option?
That's like, what, you plan to get in minutes, so me you get the max.
Max, he's on a two, five year two o'clock.
I know what I'm saying is.
I know what I'm saying.
I know what I'm saying.
He's been playing good the last, what, three years with the leg?
I love AR.
As a third option.
He was like, that's like a star.
That's the star.
No, no, the Max is not the star.
The Super Max is the star.
What did Jonathan can be gas for?
The max is a star.
He was, I think, somewhere
than 35 million.
Is he better than John
thinking to me?
Yes, that's like
Jaylon Williams.
That is comparable.
What does Jalen Williams get?
That is comparable to Jailen Williams.
But he's the third option.
But now if he's the second option,
what is Jalen Williams?
If he continues as the second option
and LeBron don't come back,
five year could be worth up to $287 million.
Oh yeah, he's definitely getting $2.40 then.
Yep.
Now, now, he's definitely.
Jayne Williams.
Jaylon Williams is the all-star.
No, no, but then I say he has to
an all-star so he shows he's the guarantee number two now the only teams that can pay him
to be the number one option go ahead Utah yeah that'd be perfect oh he's a he's an upgraded
Gordon Haywood upgraded Gordon Haywood he's a better Gordon Haywood oh we like a lot if he
go to Utah we'll never hear from him again man no no she facts we'll never hear about
him again. But he will be the man in your
Haywood. And what happened
him? It all depends on the team. Where is he at?
Chet
Chet Homer signed a five for 250, too.
Okay, so Chet
signed for five year 250.
Not a, not a all-star.
At the third option, not an all-star.
But he is seven-foot.
Chet loved to make a food as well.
It's going to be some negotiating.
He's getting 200 plus regardless.
He's got to be like $100 for sure regardless.
He's got to be one.
So what did he get, what did he get?
100 million, I think $4,400.
Gil, you just said he was averaging 26 and 10, right, with Luca.
When he went out, he was averaging, he went for 50 and 40 without Luca.
He's going to have to get $4 for $100.
Listen, he's going to have to have a good agent that can understand numbers.
Reese has a great agent.
Not really.
Because when LeBron comes back, obviously the number is going to dip.
And he's going to be the third option.
and then they're going to try to use the third option position
to keep them in that
180, 190 type of...
How much are the numbers going to dip?
You pay R. I mean, you pay R. You got to pay.
So where we're talking, 22 again?
You're talking about back down to 22?
What we're talking about 19?
No. It can't go down that far.
It can't go down that far. It can't go down that far.
Yeah, no, if it go down that far, you can't forget about it.
You can't go down to 18. I can't go down this.
No.
Led the league in scoring.
22 and 7?
But 22, 7 and 5.
He led the league in scoring.
I like, I'm just saying.
Listen, my number's going to be two something.
Got to be.
Anything in the teens?
I'm cool.
Somebody hate no.
You're sleeping on bills.
So we asked the chat.
We asked the chat is Austin Reeves, a max player,
56% of the chat, said yes.
But let's keep this thing moving.
We've got a lot to get into and not a lot of time left here on Gil's arena
presented by $100.
Don't ever do it.

entry, win or lose. Shout out to underdog. Swaggy, did you like the cookie?
That should be fine.
They gave you a card too, said, get better.
Yeah. I appreciate the underdog.
They said, you might get your pick on back, Swaggy. They're going to.
Let me say. Let me say.
Monitor situation. Did you see the food just get in?
You see that man that just walked in with that lunch?
Did you notice you got your cookie before the lunch came in?
What did that mean?
How long do you think that cookie been on that goddamn,
That's all I'm saying
That ain't today's
That ain't today's cookie
That ain't today's
A delicious cookies
They don't feel that bad
They look like the cookie we had
Last frying
That was a cooking for the battle mode
Stop telling me that
I don't want to know that
It's still good
It's still a good cookie
Nose running every day
So let's stay in the West
Nose running.
We're going to stay in the West
talk about a beef
involving Jai Moran
and ESPN analyst
Kendrick Perkins.
Oh, wow.
So Big Perk made an appearance
on the Out the Mub podcast
with Zbo and Tony Allen recently
shed some light
on why him and Grizzly Star
John Moran ain't cool
no more.
Let's take a listen.
I was cool with Jai
at one point.
But then when Jai started
getting in trouble
with some of his stuff
off the cord and shit
like that I had to speak on it,
man, Jai,
Jai don't really
with me no more on that shit.
But to be honest, in that type of situation,
I don't f*** with Jai.
I was the one that was praising Jai.
I was the one that said, hey, man, I came out and said,
hey, look, we could redo that draft.
Jop should have win number one and not Zion.
Fiddy fact.
All of a sudden Disney boss is hearing me out.
We go do an all-access, bro.
We're down in Memphis, shining light on you.
ESP don't never do that shit.
That's for sure.
We're annoying you the next chosen one.
And you up, guess what?
Not only do that make you look bad, that make me look bad.
Because they recognized you because of me speaking highly of you.
It ain't no coincidence that you went from having three games on ESPN National Television that you had 52.
So very interesting words there from Big Perk.
So after seeing the clip, Jock quoted the post and had this response.
Let's take a look.
He said, you the reason for my notoriety perk?
Come on, dog.
You're showing them why don't F with you?
Yo, kind.
I made you.
Well, God creates you.
I helped.
I made it.
I helped.
So for context, John, two-time All-Star mate,
second-team All-NBA back in 2022
when he finished seventh in MVP voting
after averaging 27, seven-assistance six boards
in his third NBA season.
Past two seasons, though,
only played a total of 59 games
dealing with injuries and suspensions.
So, big perk spitting or tripping
Saying he helped John and the Grizzlies
Get more love from ESPN
Let me ask this question
When was the all access?
I think it was before all the
2023?
Maybe the 22, 2020, 23 seasons
That during the time he was going through
His suspension shit?
And I think before that, I'm not mistaken.
I think it's around the same time.
No, they wouldn't do an all assets when he...
First of all, he was...
He was, that was that during that time, I'm fine in the West.
I believe so.
Okay, he was an end, listen, he was the rookie of the year.
He was most improved.
They had the all access in 2020.
Number one, they were.
I don't give a fuck when they had all in the world.
No, go ahead, go ahead.
I don't care what access they had.
The reason you had the whole access, because he was looking like baby goddamn Jordan out.
Man, right?
And that man, he was cocking shit back.
Yeah.
He came to the latest.
He came to the latest.
He came to the Lakers, he hit his elbows on the top.
On the backboard.
Never seen nothing like that before.
Come on, man.
He hit both elbows, pricked, peep, p, right?
There's a reason y'all went all the way down to Memphis
because he was moving different.
He was moving so different that your bosses was like, hey, get your asses off this goddamn
cows go down to that, but in Memphis, get some of that on that bill street, that's what happened.
Had nothing to do with y'all.
So the All Access came in March of 2020.
I don't give a fuck with you,
I'm guilt.
Fuck, please.
Did it come rookie at the end?
Did it come with his elbows touch that goddamn backboard?
No, is what he was doing, sports center every day.
You don't give all access to people that you think is good.
You give all access to people you know it's good.
So he was saying that they was only on national TV.
Two games.
He said 12.
It's a three from 50, three from 52, but look, yeah.
So when they went to 52, what year was that?
Because there had to be a progression.
After his elbows hit that backboard.
They was top five, what, like three years ago?
Can y'all put the backboard?
Can y'all put the backboard with the elbow?
Ah, damn.
You, when did this signature suit first drop?
Man, that was around.
Remember that end-bound?
The end-bound?
When a dude trying to take it out, he jumped up and grabbed it with one hand?
stole as it man like them acrobatic moves he was doing is why your whole company went there for him
so they went from seven games in 21 22 to 28 games in 22 23 so he was a little bit of a stretch
brooks me and brooks doing all that too they me was having they was looking good having beef
and the warriors and it was all because of jobs we're only playing attention because of job
i'm asking the question let me ask you a question so are we talking about his end statement
or the beginning statement?
Because Perk made two statements.
Perk basically said he made them.
No, he's not saying that.
He's not saying that at all.
So I think a lot of the retar...
He's saying he don't mess with job
because of all the situation that he got into.
Perk obviously, the ESPN and Enlist had to speak on those things.
So let's start there.
Instead of everyone jumping to the end part,
which seemingly what they do on out the mud
is they take that last little sound
by and turn that bitch all the way on.
And it's crazy.
But I'm looking at what he's saying originally, which is they don't fuck with each other
based on Kendrick Perkins having to do his job and having to separate their friendship.
So if that's what we're talking about, I understand what Perk talking about.
But the other side, I don't agree.
I don't agree with that.
I don't agree with the whole, you know, he might have said some shit.
Like, hey, we need to check our job, but there ain't no from you type of thing.
Yeah.
I don't think we should uproar that statement and take that statement and be like, yo, dog, dude, because you're missing, you're missing the context of why they fall out.
We don't give a fuck.
Why are you trying to say?
We don't care why.
That's the thing.
That's the media thing.
If you're not caring about the original statement and you only caring about the click base, then you're missing the context of why they even having the conversation.
We fail out.
What I'm saying is you don't care.
Did the job respond to the fallout?
We don't care why you're falling out.
he's basically saying
you mad at me
dropping what I said
I made you
no that's not what he's saying
no that's an interpretation
for motherfuckers
who don't want to listen
to what he said originally
we fell out
because I got to keep it real
on the top
as they asked me about you
when you're doing this bullshit
okay
did he stop there
or did he continue
to say some shit
that just
out of his mouth
and he just said
he went too far
what I'm saying
if you stopped there
if you stop there
there's nothing
there's no click bait
nobody's gonna pay
attention to what you're saying. That's the point.
Nobody cares when he's a hot taker.
It was a hot take at the end
and he said what he said.
That's the, that's the clickbait. That's the take.
Oh, we're going to take that. And you're saying you
made a job. It's not stickbait. He
said it. It can't be clickback if
you said it. So if he can't, so
if you make a statement and say I didn't make it. If you put it
together and it sounds like it. If he
makes a statement and say, man, I mean to say
that man, I meant to say something else.
If he was to retract that statement.
Then it's not clickback.
no more, right? It's, oh man, Kendra didn't really mean to say that. He was really just saying we fell out, man. I feel like I put a good word in for the young fellow when I was fucking with him. I put a good word. When I was fucking with Jai, I put a good word in for him. A lot of times when they was trying to get, they was trying to go this way. I'm like, nah, man, that's my man.
Woo, woo, woo, woo. We're both sides are right? So when John's doing all that stuff, I'm the one speaking up and saying all these things on ESPN being supportive. He was doing the bullshit. I was still, but I had to say my peace on keeping it real because I just is what I do.
But the clickbait is going to push it to this other way.
You also said fuck me too, though.
He said that.
Because they don't fuck with each other no more.
Perk did mention that he still has a good relationship with T. Morantham.
Yep.
I mean, these are other parts of the conversation nobody going to go to because it's clickbait.
It's not.
A minute 50 clip, we are obviously strapped for times.
We had to just pull out.
I'm just saying.
Sometimes things can be taken out of context when you say him in the wrong well.
Yes.
Yes.
Yeah.
See, that's a.
like I made you
like that's basically
it wasn't like basically
because he didn't say that
he said I made you
about how that's what the culture do
it's like he didn't say none of that
he didn't say I lay it back
and listen to it
he did not say I made you
let's listen to the clip one more time
if we can't please
well I thought he said I made it
I was cool with Jai
at one point
but then when Jai started getting in trouble
with some of his stuff
off the court and shit like that I had to speak on it.
Man, Jai, Jai don't really f*** with me no more on that shit.
But to be honest, in that type of situation, I don't f*** with Jai.
I was the one that was praising Jai.
I was the one that said, hey, man, I came out and said, hey, look, we could redo that draft.
Jock should have went number one and not Zion.
Fittity fact.
All of a sudden, Disney bosses hearing me out.
We go do it all access, bro.
We down in Memphis.
Shining light on you.
ESPN don't never do that shit.
We're knowing you the next chosen one.
And you're up, guess what?
Not only do that make you look bad,
that made me look bad.
Because they recognized you
because of me speaking holly of you.
It ain't no coincidence
that you went from having three games
on ESPN national television
that you had 52.
Well, he didn't say I made it.
He just said, yeah.
I'm about for you seven to 28 but he said I'm bouching for you I'm bouching for you I'm bouching for you
know you because of what I've been saying not because you was the most improving you average 27 a game
and then you average 30 in the playoffs two years in a row not because of that yeah we also have another
clip I believe that you requested if we could show that please buy that right there the kids
the kids were sold oh oh my kids were sold
One of many highlights, when did Kendra say they're going to need to redo the drive?
What year was that?
We will.
After you average 27?
But what do they think?
Do they think he's stripping?
I get, but you too, you can't, you, you, you mad at them too?
Who?
That's the show.
No, I'm just saying it's a hot take that they ran with.
niggas do that shit all the time
you leave out the good shit you said
and you talk it's like oh man
I said some bullshit you know man
I'm saying it's the 81 it's the 81 it's the 81
niggas don't be listening
niggas be high
so there was more high while I'm talking
and miss the shit that I'm saying
there was more to that than what was presented
you want to explain
I'm sure no I don't want to explain shit
when you was if you're smart you
understand
oh
maybe we took it out of content
maybe you wouldn't ban attention
You could get 81 and I just, I want to know how I took.
You didn't watch it, did you?
I didn't.
I just seen the clip.
So then, listen.
I didn't see the clip.
Go to class, Nick.
Pay attention, nigger.
But also, you can't take that personal because it is.
You can't say, I can take it person if you're not paying attention.
What the fuck I'm saying?
You can't say everything is click bait.
Yes, you can.
If you click in that, you ain't clicking the good shit, I just did.
John took it as it was it.
Because that's all he's seen.
He didn't even see the interview.
I don't need to see all the interview.
Exactly.
That you're making you.
That's shit.
That's niggins shit.
So that clip was a part of a longer minute, 46 second clip
that Althamara posted on their social media account.
Wait, wait, click, click bait is baiting someone into clickingness
and that's not what it's a part of.
Right.
Right, like I'm making something seem a certain way so you can click it.
If you did an hour video and I take this out of the video of what you said,
that is not clickbait it's called a sound bite I'm the sound bite king but if you're
saying it you're saying it yeah that's what I said like I have to retweak sound bite no
say I have to retweet this sound bite you can't take something personal for some you
say it if you don't like how they put it out listen like if they're changing
how you say you take it out of a two hour conversation you take the last 30
seconds of what I say what you just post that
Of what you said.
This is the, this is what we're going to make people click on this.
Of what you say.
Boom.
That's called a sound bite and clickbait.
No, that's not clickbait.
100%.
That's, no, what did you do?
You put the hell.
He'd do it all the time.
If you take something, no, I know it all the time.
You know what I'm talking about.
No, no, no, don't put that, put this, put this on here because they're going to click on this.
But it's still what it is.
If I take a conversation here, right?
Mm-hmm.
And then take a whole different conversation from here
and mesh them together to make it seem like
this is one conversation.
That's clickbait.
So that clip that he just did,
that was one full minute of just, like,
that wasn't no, this word.
It wasn't, like, we took the best chunks of it.
We took the best chunks of it, made it a sound bite.
It was a little bit longer than we have time
to show the whole back.
So we knew that this sound bite was gonna get attention.
Okay, but put this out because this
This sounds crazy.
What was the best part of the clip?
That accurately displayed what Perk was saying in the clip?
I think the beginning part.
But then that mesh with why he felt that way.
Well, at the end, it's like, yo, I'm kind of telling y'all I had something to do with
him being more notarized.
He's saying that.
He's saying, man, I had something to do with vouching for you when I was fucking with you.
Bro, I fuck with you.
I'm telling them niggas, they should come down there and fuck with you.
But now that we don't fuck with each other, I'm going to let the people know that,
hey man we don't fuck with each other I'm not on nobody's side I'm just saying this is just a
this is what happens all the time why did it come up though like why did this situation come up
like why do we know about them having beef like did somebody say something before that I'm sure
there was came up like them both playing with the grizzlies out of the mud
ah okay okay there's a natural yep yep yep Memphis so some stuff that they knew about
like the stuff you got in trouble for when you no no no when I say when I when I when I when it's
It was messed up, when it was messed up, to make it seem like I was cheating on my wife.
She's trying to catch me.
Oh, yeah, I got in trouble for that.
Two different conversations.
It had nothing to do with each other.
You mesh them up together for the click.
Oh, good.
Arena's talking about cheating.
His wife got to catch him 10 times.
It's two different, totally different conversation.
You be with the mother.
But you mesh it right and make it seem like, oh, the NBA players cheating and she got to try to catch him 10 times.
Very different.
I'm manipulating the conversation to make it seem a certain way.
He wasn't manipulated.
No, he was.
That nigger said that shit.
No, he said it.
He said it.
So we asked, so.
What I'm sorry?
You got to be like, man, fuck it.
I said, I live.
I made that.
He didn't go back on it.
I don't think he's going back on.
He said, it ain't like, like I said.
I click big all the time.
I know click baits.
So you don't believe that.
I think the point is the post.
That they put out of you with the 81,
you don't make people click on it?
Like the interview?
Like, you don't like the way it rolled out?
No, I love it.
Yeah, because I know what I was saying.
Okay, okay.
Because I thought it was funny.
I mean, I think I thought it was funny.
My thing is like, you don't think you could get 81 or something?
You mad?
Like, I don't get it.
I never said that I could get 81.
That's the point.
I guess I said, go to class and pay your fucking thing.
But do you think you can?
No, I don't.
Oh, okay.
I was trying.
I do.
The problem is, I had other players on the train that wanted, they wanted to score.
Like, why can I get it a little warm and a Kwame Brown on my teeth?
Can you all bring Kwame back?
Karan, you got to go back to tail line real quick.
So we asked the chat.
I got to get this 80 at 1.
I need just rebound, his passes, and screeners.
So we actually look fun out there.
We asked to chat to help Jha get more love from the media.
70% of the chat says, no, I don't know if that's accurate, though.
I mean, I'm not going to say how much impact it had on it,
but I'm sure him speaking very highly of Jha talking to his skin.
From that clip, they're going to agree.
Man, who else he been speaking highly of?
Right.
Have motherfuckers went out to go do all access to them.
Hell no.
Because there ain't nobody else going to touch their elbows.
Now, if they go do all access to Spurs.
Yeah, come on.
I made one.
Is it because Wimby out there doing some alien shit?
Was it because somebody in the studio giving?
Wait, wait, wait.
I made Wimby.
I would say because of Swaggy talking about the last time, Hooper,
motivating to go with Shaolin Monkeys.
I made your ass, Winby.
I'm sure Wimby saw the clip and said,
I'm gonna go with some Shaolin Monk or something.
Nick said that.
And Hakeem, just to prove, why he's,
because he is the NBA champion.
What?
Like channel.
That means, it's more that I'm like on the,
you know, board of the corner.
We've seen what you made.
I've seen what you made.
I just hate media players.
Yeah.
You're sweating out, huh?
No, I understand.
You can't think you make somebody.
I know what you made.
All right, well, you made a lunchtime Hooper.
I know I made the corner.
I made the corner boy.
Yeah, I made it hot.
Be hot.
Shout out to the corner.
All right, well, let's keep this thing moving.
Can you tell him, take my fucking shoes off?
That's a star player shoe.
That's not a corner boy shoe.
That's not a sit on a bench shoe.
That is not where my daddy at.
I wave because he came to the game.
That is, option number one, sneaker, okay?
Don't put on some, uh, uh, does Austin Reed's got some shoes?
He does.
Huh?
You can't wear those.
Uh, does, um.
Can I wear the dog?
No, he can't, brunny got to wear his own shirt.
Tell him where the Marcus Smart's.
Whatever shoe Marcus Smart got on.
No, your son don't play that hard.
Coloco, loco.
The Coloco, loco, loco.
The colloco.
Coloco.
Who's that?
Exactly.
Whatever shoe he got, your son should get.
That should be his favorite player.
Put them on.
Who?
Let's keep this thing moving.
L. Julios, the shit you buy in the 2K store, the ones that give you for free, it say 2K on it, they all grazed.
Your son, wear them shoes.
Well, enough was slandering, swaggy, son.
Let's get back.
Now, that wasn't slander.
I'm just telling him what kind of shoe he should be wearing.
I can't wait.
Because he got the son that literally, soon as he get the game, he gets the V-Bucks, and he goes shopping.
He got to move on.
He goes shopping, so his son got the chain on.
The coach clothes.
You know what I mean?
That's this character.
And I'm like, no.
This is click.
How you play, you should just wear exactly what clickbait.
Whatever they give you the brown shirt with the jeans and the two K shoes, that's your guy, right?
You don't need to spend money.
Never.
Let's keep this thing moving.
You know, he tried to, he tried to.
Stop, man.
It's over.
Fuck, let it go.
He should, he wouldn't.
Let it go.
Your son wanted to be on my crew.
He's going on a five-minute rant about my son.
If I don't hit you in the next two minutes, it's like, I don't.
No, what I'm saying is, now that is considered the world going to think of us off when I'll hit you in another five minutes.
They say get him some da-d-dyes.
Ooh, chat.
Now the chat is doing it.
No, that chat is called a viral.
The chat is being disrespectful, swaggy.
I'm merely a conduit.
See, you got the chat to now and now.
I'll send him some Air McCannis, man.
No, motherfucker.
It don't go around the check couch.
It's not right here.
It doesn't go around the couch.
You'll put the ground.
I know, I know, that's it.
You go to put the brain.
I do somebody to fucking ain't.
And stops at that, learn right there.
He's going to put the brain in.
No, I'm trying to try to give you not.
Merely a ho.
In this velvet rope, damn robe, shit.
A raspy voice host, like.
Cull this shit.
Merely a hush.
All y'all, I just got a damn, 2K park lead outfit you coming with.
Shit, I'm, I'm mad.
All right.
Let's keep it moving.
Yeah.
So back to basketball.
So after a self-part rookie debut, I thought that was, I thought we was done.
No, we have more work to do, girl.
We don't, do days a week.
We got more work to do.
Just because we got two days a week, don't mean we're going to keep going.
It's a lot of shit to talk about it's Wednesday.
I'm just going to let you know that now.
We're going to go beyond two days or show.
You're not going to just add another 30 fucking minutes.
We are going to go beyond.
No, you're not going to add a 30 more minutes.
Let me host, girl.
Let me do his job.
1.30, cut it off.
No, we were five minutes late.
We got to get it back.
He's already cut it off.
So after a subpart rookie debut by his standards,
which became the second youngest player to start an opening night game in league history,
Cooper Flagg has been giving mass fans some reason for optimism as the 18-year-old adjust to playing in the NBA.
So the maps opened the season with four straight home games,
actually five straight.
They got the Pacers tonight.
After dropping their first two to the Spurs and Wizards,
Dallas got their first win of the season against the Raptors on Sunday.
Flagg coming through with the best performance so far in his young,
NBA career. Let's take a look at the highlights if we can. So Flagg put up a career high,
22 points going 8 for 14 from the field, two of six from deep, along with four rebounds
and four assists. Performance helped Flagg make some history as he became the youngest
player in league history with 20 plus points, four rebounds, four assists, and zero turnovers
in a game. So DeAngelo Russell also had his best game of the season with 24.6 assists
and five rebounds off the bench in 29 minutes of action while AD came through with 25 and 10
boards on 11 of 14 shooting.
Flagg joined Kobe Bryant as the only
18-year-olds to record 20 points
with zero turnovers
in a game. Also had this highlight
dunk right here.
The whites is back.
All this
Kobe's slamming.
You ain't lying.
See, Mark Cuban. Move around euros.
You better stop saying this. Y'all don't want
us to play basketball anymore.
Move around euros.
Euros and then white.
No, no, because the euros, because the whites were.
You know, they take that.
No, what I'm saying?
I love them.
The girls ain't going on.
No, what I'm saying is the euros,
try to replace the whites.
The whites are like, now we fighting back.
I don't want to.
So this is between the Euro, the Euro's and the Caucasian?
Yes.
White America.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
White Americans was like, wait, hold on,
because the last great one was John Stockton.
Yeah, they don't really.
So what, Tyler?
All right.
Gordon, like, you know,
Kevin Love.
You know what I mean?
You know, it's like.
They tried.
They got one.
He got one.
He got one, and he can jump.
True.
True.
He's nice.
Boy, he got hot.
I like him.
Chet hungry?
Likes Jamaican food on the fence.
You can see what they get around.
I don't know if he's embraced by Caucasian.
I like it.
I'm just being rude.
You see how Chet moves.
That doesn't make traditional whites happen.
That's what I'm saying.
They're different.
You can tell, you know.
But back to Cooper Flag.
How important is having a game like this for Cooper Flagg.
this early in the season.
Now, 22-piece against the Raptors,
Mab's got their first one of the year.
We will discuss the other side of Flagg, too,
in his most recent game,
but we're going to start with the positive.
I'll wait.
Okay.
Shout away from it.
22 points against the Raptors, Mabbs get their first one in the season.
Good, we talked about it a little bit,
but 18 years old,
obviously going to be some ups and down,
ties and lows throughout his rookie year.
But seeing that,
how did you respond?
I mean, his first game was great to me.
You're talking about 18 coming into the NBA?
As I said, 18 is now high school still.
So the fact that he's in the NBA having a double double, right?
Obviously, it was going to be timid, right?
So the fact that the league gave him five straight home games to open up the season
where he can get comfortable was good.
So I'm excited.
You can see this is not a bus.
This is not going to be a bus.
Like you can see what he's doing.
out there. The flashes of his game, right? He create his own shot. He can come down hill.
He can jump. He plays defense. He knows how to pass. Right. I mean, he has an all-around
basketball game. From there, he's just getting the confidence, getting the reps in, and, you know,
he's going to, the Cooper flag ship is taking off.
A rookie, he's going to have good games. He's going to have bad games. It's going to be up and
down. You know, I like it. I like this game. I respect it.
It's only going to get better.
Be not acting like he was like a win-been-fiends coming in.
You know, he's, you got to learn the game, man.
It takes time.
Playing against OKC, and you had them games.
They are a hard-ass team, bro.
We'll talk about that game in a second.
But when you see him against the Wizards, that's when you get your confidence.
When you play against Toronto, you get confidence from and try to build off that.
So 10 points in his first ever NBA game against the Spurs.
Follow that up with 18 against the Wizards, 22 against the Raptors.
Those were the first three.
That's what we're talking about right now.
We will talk about the fourth game in a second.
But Mr. B., what do you think about Cooper Flagg dropping 22 on the Raptors?
And just how important is that for him as a rookie building his confidence as an 18-year-old
getting thrown right into the fire?
I mean, the first thing you want to do is, you know, you definitely want to see the ball go through the hoop.
So, you know, just to be able to have a 20-point game, you know, playing a new position.
I mean, like Swagging and him said, man, it's going to be a bunch of up and downs.
He's only 18.
he's still learning at least he gets to if he's running the point guard position so he'll
be at a chance to get to be able to learn it from a guy who did run the point guard position
which is Jason Kidd so I think he'll be fine man he's playing with AD he's playing with a bunch
of vets just give it time I mean you know it's the same way it was in college it's a little
overwhelming I mean I'm 18 so average like four assists in college so far in four games
this season he's averaging yeah three 2.5 but I'm not worried about him he'll be
Fine.
All right.
Well, now let's switch to the other side.
He ain't going to see this.
Corporate Cemetery, Larry.
Yes.
And we'll give more perspective.
So the 22 piece on the Raptors filed that up, back to back against the defending champion.
Oklahoma City Thunder had his worst game of his career so far in that game.
With battling a shoulder injury, so I want to give context, always suffered early in the game.
Finished with two points, one of nine shooting.
I don't like.
what?
He just had a bad game.
His shoulder was bothering.
He just had a bad game.
Just had a bad game.
Let's stop.
If that was somebody else had the number one pick, come on, let's stop.
If that was winning...
If you were...
All right, he just had a bad game.
Nothing happened to his shoulder is just a shit.
Got to come back...
Was grabbing a shoulder throughout the...
When he had 18, the shit, his arm was okay.
You can't do that.
You can't do that.
The shoulder did not happen.
It came to happen.
I'm playing, come on.
Talk about it.
Joshua Dumbus.
Well, I mean, shit.
He's averaging 13 right now.
Clay's averaging 10.
Who's the number two option?
Him.
I guess, I guess him.
An 18-year-old.
Huh?
The 18-year-old.
Okay.
So the main question to me is why we keep saying his age?
Yeah.
Because he's the youngest.
It's the number one pick, though.
You can't do that.
But he's the youngest, but he's the youngest, but he's the youngest number one pick since when.
But I'm just asking since probably Kwamey?
How many 18 year olds?
I'm saying.
You got to play the number one pick?
Youngest,
Quano was 19.
No,
Kwana was 19.
So we're going to keep saying 18 as the, is that going to be the excuse?
So we go say, don't, that the excuse?
Well, second youngest to start in NBA games.
Second youngest in NBA history.
That means 5,500 athletes.
He is the second youngest.
But that means that he's now allowed to make mistakes.
Who was the first youngest?
I don't care.
I'm just asking about why we keep saying his team.
Oh, start a game.
A LeBron.
So he only had two points because he was 18?
No.
He shouldn't be playing.
I'm asking.
No.
No?
At that point.
So why not?
Why not we're going to use he had two points because he's 18?
Shouldn't be playing.
He had two points because he had a bad game.
All right, so he had 22 points
because he had a good game.
And we praise him because he's 18.
Yes.
You shouldn't be playing there.
No, I praise him just the fact that he's 18
he's out there competing.
Well, if you praise him because he's 18,
he shouldn't be in the league then.
Shit.
How many 18 and scoring in the league?
Oh, he's 18.
How many 18-year-olds came into the league
and hit that, though?
But, like, how many 18-year-olds came in the league
and did that, though?
He shouldn't be in the way then.
Shit, if he, if he's on 18, man, it's, it's okay to miss.
It's just, it's right.
Nobody said that.
We're saying he's 18 and he's playing that one position.
So that means he has to learn this position at 18.
Can't say 18.
Coming in, everything is new for you as a rookie.
It is.
18-year-old?
Do you think that 18 years old, I mean, he was 17 playing in college?
Yeah, so, yeah.
He was one of the youngest.
Yeah, so he's supposed to be in the 12th league.
But wait, before that, he was 16.
He was 16, right?
You think it's supposed to be in the 12th grade.
So did he re-class?
Yes.
He moved up.
He moved up.
He moved up.
Because he thought he could play with the pros.
Obviously.
Yeah.
I mean, yeah.
Right.
So then if he could play with the pros and he moved up to play with the pros, why are we using
his age as some type of metric when we're giving him excuses when he's do bad?
Because the NBA compares you to your age.
I keep trying to tell you all that.
It sounds like you just compare everything to your age.
I just said the NBA comparison.
compares you to your age
you have a rookie year and then
from there you get put in
I value you to where your
age group is so I
that's how I can see how far you're going
I always win me so if you look at the white
Howard you look at the white Howard
in Omecofore
right who looked like they were a better player
at when they were coming in
Omega Ogoville yeah the age
of the white said he has a higher
ceiling right so I'm going to go with
the number one pick and pick him
That's how that works.
I mean, that's always been like that.
Turn 20.
19 to turn 20.
So for me, it's all about how they put him in position.
Like I said, they're doing him in this service
because he can be so much more impactful
if they ran different things for him.
Taking him off the ball, number one,
because it's affecting Clay Thompson.
Now you see they don't have a number two.
They don't have a solidified number two.
You bring somebody in.
like Clay Thompson, you got to know what he does well to keep him at a 15-point clip where they can actually have a chance to win.
So now you got Cooper Flagg playing the point guard, right, and he doesn't put himself in position to get the ball to score in scoring positions.
But not only that, you got Clay Thompson where I think if you put Cooper Flagg down here on this post and you got AD lifted and you got Clay Thompson here.
At any point, this can happen for Clay Thompson to always get the screen.
This was that same action they ran in Golden State, where Clay Thompson would get
that screen from Draymond Green or whoever the foreman was.
That's an assist for Cooper flag.
He had two points, no assist, right?
If this is AD, if this is AD, it's the same.
This is Cooper setting the screen for Clay Thompson, and Clay Thompson can get a three, get a two,
and this is Cooper flag now, get in the open show.
shot or a dive. None of these actions is happening for Dallas Mavericks. And when you really
look at the game and how Clay Thompson is ineffective completely, you're looking at Cooper
Flag and you say, how is this 18-year-old going to be effective and he's not getting the ball
in scoring position? The 22 points he got, one-on-one. Based on a guy he know can't guard him.
Number one pick. Delo comes in the game. Pitch of heads. Give it to give it to Cooper. Let him
run the wing. Hey, Cooper, go to work.
Let me get you the ball
in the flow of the game. Boom, boom, boom.
But now you got your whole responsibility
now as Cooper is to come back to the ball and
be the point guard and, hey, I got to bring it up
and all that, man, to me is just,
it's Jason Kidd know better.
Their bench no better.
A.D. no better.
Our real point guard isn't here, though.
And it's only four games.
Your real point guard is on the bench.
My real point guard is hurt.
My thing is, we just, we got to stop with the age and all that.
No, we don't.
We can't.
You can't, because Winby and Pablo and all the on average 20s.
And they're 19, 20 years old.
But it's one year.
That's a lot.
That kid is supposed to, first of all,
we've been playing pro basketball overseas his whole life.
This kid is supposed to be in high school in the 12th grade.
He's supposed to be graduating high school this year.
He decided him.
No, 19, average in 20.
That's stop.
All right.
But I'm just saying, you do need D.
Russ in there.
You can't have him bringing up the ball
and trying to make plays for Clay Thompson
and every PJ Washington.
He's not getting the ball.
They're not getting nothing.
You don't get the ball in a weird situation.
Then you say, don't blame Cooper because he's 18.
Because he's 18.
Don't blame Cooper.
He don't know what he's doing.
He never ran the point guard.
So why the fuck is he running the point guard?
Right.
Yeah, why we can't blame him?
I think you can blame him, but you have to point to the age, too, and just say him.
Man, that's just like saying we can't criticize Bronny because he was the second round pick.
Everybody got their own little bullshit excuse me why we can't do shit and say shit to people.
Shit.
So no excuse just produced the Drew League motto.
Shit.
So the season starts in 73.
Been to leave for four and five years.
But we're criticizing a 55th pick.
We're only criticizing Bronny because it's LeBron James' son.
If it wasn't LeBron James son, we wouldn't say anything, y'all wouldn't say nothing
about Brony.
Because he wouldn't be on the team.
That's not true.
We don't know that.
So we don't know if we would be criticizing him or not?
I just don't think he would be saying anything.
If he was just the 55th pick, wouldn't nobody be saying anything about...
But because he's LeBron James' son, everybody's going to have something to say.
Regardless it is the Brown James' son or anybody...
or anybody else, you get criticized based on your performance.
When the last time you guys seen an 18-year-old coming to the league, that's a number one fucking pick.
20-something-year-old.
Okay.
Okay.
So we're supposed to give him grace because he's...
I'm not giving him.
What I'm saying is it's going to take an 18-year-old time that's supposed to be in the fucking fifth period right now.
So he should be in fifth?
No, yeah.
Let him be in fifth.
God-gain, we're sitting over here.
I'm not in 13.
He's 13.
He had one bad game.
It's four games.
He's making his skills this every time.
How much is B.J.?
How much is B.J. averaging?
Two years older. How much is VJ?
Yeah, you say, like, the age your draft is not here yet.
22, 6, and 6.
And we're not talking about VJ.
He's not getting the pub.
Cooper getting.
We actually will talk about him at length tomorrow on Gills Rain and
present about him.
So why is it that we get to give him, oh, he 18, let's talk about him.
But let's not talk about the dude is average of
Because we haven't seen an 18-year-old number-one pick in 20 years.
But he's averaging 13.
And he started the college season in the same way.
How old was LeBron when he came?
18.
18 years old.
How much was he averaging?
20.
20 at the end of the year.
Was that deserving?
That was his only capacity.
If he had a game with two points, what would happen?
All on it.
All on.
What happened to him?
Chosen one.
Let's stop.
They was killing LeBron his rookie year.
Before he even got it.
the league. They were saying he ain't going to be
able to play. He ain't this. He ain't that. We saw
his all teammates, his old teammates
were saying they wasn't ready for him.
His own, the motherfuckers
name, Cleveland was hating on him. So if he's in the same
breath as LeBron, so if he
in the same breath as LeBron, he should
be doing what LeBron doing.
He should be having to say everything
could be the same. 25 and 21
and then when he had that 7 and 8,
they start talking shit. I don't remember
that. Of course you didn't.
I don't remember that. Of course, it didn't. No one does.
Are we can't, because you're not, you're not, now we compare it to the Brian?
He said he's the last, he's the last, number one, that's 18.
That's all we're comparing.
We're not saying he's LeBron James.
No, we're saying he's the last player since then.
He's the last player since LeBron James to get drafted at 18.
So he's the last player since we're going to criticize an 18 year old.
No, that's the last start.
Like, second youngest.
Y'all remember.
So LeBron's the last 18 year old we criticized.
You know what's so funny?
Right.
No, you're so funny.
Yeah, I think so.
Right.
Right.
Right.
So we can't criticize.
him because he's 18? I didn't say you couldn't.
Nobody said, we're just saying it's going to take him.
There was a kid that came
in. He was drafted at 17, but he was
playing at 18. By the name of Kobe Bryant.
Man, we picking shoes to give people
grace. You remember him, right?
Okay.
What did everybody say?
When he goes in there, miss him,
Shies, play zero, 18.
He's an 18-year-old in the NBA.
That's all that mattered.
Him at 18 is this.
We can see where he's.
he's going to be what we're putting all our eggs in this basket no colby brown for the first three
years didn't play darrell eras didn't play him because he was 18 and he made it because he was 18
he literally said i should have went to college if i known i wasn't going to play if he was just 18
and that why was his stock so why he wasn't the number one why was his stock so high being 18
at 13 pick why was his stock so high at
being 18 because just 18 alone in the NBA scoring two points four points was
fucking amazing was amazing he wasn't starting been like Cooper flag
started this game Cooper flag is starting our 18 oh brian was not he was an
all star coming off the bitch to be the point guard at the ball in you
wasn't doing none of that he was in all he made the all star in front of the all
Based on what?
Based on what?
Being 18.
Based on what?
Based on what?
Being 18.
The fans didn't vote because he was 18, man.
Being a fan favorite.
The kids love it.
Like, we're in high school and he's in the NBA.
That's a thing.
I'm sorry.
If it was anybody else, I'm just saying, it wouldn't be.
No, we're not sure about y'all.
We're just saying it's only four games.
I mean, and he's average of 13.
I'm not, but me just can't make up shoulders hurting
and, like, you got to just be more.
realistic. I'm making excuses for the man, man.
He said it. He said it shoulder hurt.
He said the shoulder hurt. I'm just saying he's 18
like, Nick. If he was averaging 18, they would be going
crazy. He was averaging 18. Oh, my God.
He was averaging 18 before zero.
We didn't jump up.
Y'all worked jumping up.
Y'all were jumping up. Y'all are going Craig
because he ate.
The last time we talked about him was we said he
We said he had a C minus his first game
and he had 10 10 and 10.
Then he had an 8 plus because he had 22.
Yes.
As an 18-year-old, yes.
Oh, what's up?
As an 18-year-old.
He had a 20-year.
Was he the youngest double-double?
I don't give a fuck.
Yeah.
Everybody gives it.
I don't know what gives a fuck.
Oh, they don't care about that.
He's a young.
You know why?
He's a youngest.
You know what he's 18.
So that's what makes the double-double-double.
But that's what makes it.
He turned 19 next month.
He turned 19 next month.
Next month.
So we can't say 18.
We got to wait until next month.
Oh, we own.
Everybody that's, we own.
You got to go to 20.
You got to go to 20.
Yeah, you got to get, you got a month.
You got one month left.
30 days.
Why you're tall in the first youngest player to have a double double.
And fifth math to have a double double in their rich today.
Who was the younger?
Who was the youngest?
T-MAC.
T-MAC.
T-MAC.
T-Mach was the youngest?
What's the A-R or something to Kobe?
Then you did Cooper FACC.
You know what's crazy.
It's a lot of Kobe can compare.
Because he was 18.
God damn!
He was 18 playing.
There's not a lot of 18.
The Brown was 18.
They didn't say LeBron.
They can't say LeBron.
You see what he was doing at 18?
What was he doing at 18?
Average of a damn there, 20-something, 5 and 5.
That's your comparison, right?
The only comparison.
That's why he's under.
So why we compare him with Kobe?
So if...
They're just pointing out of step.
If LeBron is...
Is this too high, LeBron?
LeBron too high.
If LeBron is A, if he's A, if he's A and then this is the second youngest, he's automatically B in the category.
Better be careful man, that 18-year-old can get 50 and this error.
This error is easy to get 50.
Y'all keep talking.
All right.
I'm not, I'm not saying, I don't want, I'm not saying we got to stop using that
excuse.
That's not an excuse.
He's the number one pick, bro.
That's the number one.
The excuse around the world, we all use it.
We go to the park right now, we're playing to just grown-ups.
And the grown-ups are talking of shit, we all said it.
Don't?
I'm only 15.
We all done it.
No, I said, man.
I'm all busy.
I'm not with the guard that you can never say.
You get on the court now.
You got your ass cooked.
You didn't guard-in-high-school.
We played in high school in the next bus shoot.
I'm 16.
You're 20.
Duh, you're supposed to have 35.
No, you're not supposed to.
All I know is.
All I know is rookies that's coming in that spent two years over college,
you don't get no excuses.
No excuses.
So you coming out of 238.
No excuses.
Your 26-year-old ass better be ready.
Like I said.
You old, you're 21, 22.
You should be playing like that.
Everybody.
Anybody.
Anybody come in college over 20 years old.
They're all going to be the same.
Pablo ever's 20.
He was 19.
Right.
When he came in, he was the same.
Palo.
Yeah.
Palo Pacharo.
Yeah, when he came in, them first couple games, he was 20 years old.
He was busing.
He was bawling.
He was bawling.
He was bawling.
How old was he?
When he came, the first month of the season, he was 19.
He turns 20 in November.
So once he turned 19, he can't say nothing about Cooper Fagg.
Like, no excuses because of his age, right?
We're just saying that because he's the last player for 20 years.
It is crazy.
That's it.
How they put expectations this high.
They've never.
What happened to the number one?
pick last year.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
We haven't even talked about them.
We didn't talk about them last year nor this year.
We talked about the physics.
And I said, everybody said, fuck this year draft because Cooper flagged the number one pick next year.
We can't wait for him to come.
You can't do that.
He's going to do it all.
He's going to do everything.
Let's stop giving out of music.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
So he's the best freshman of all time.
He already had to everything.
He's going to all.
He's did more.
He's showing that he's supposed to be getting out of school.
Now he's 18, he's supposed to be getting out of school right now.
God damn, he had lunch.
It's a man's league.
The reason that draft is ass after because everybody was so focused on flag.
So just stop making excuses when he played ass and hype on a good game, yes.
Two points.
Let's stop.
Okay.
What you mean?
Okay, 20-202.
He's a rookie, but we can't say it.
Okay, he had a bad game.
Okay, yeah.
But you're not because he's 18.
You don't have a bad game.
I praise him.
Y'all don't praise him when he has a good game.
I say it's going to be up and down, but we got to stop using his excuses on the 18.
He's going to have two points.
Being 18 in excuse, though.
No, he's going to have bad games is what we're saying.
Yes, we're not.
If you hype this man like he's the next phenone, you can't do that.
You can't change it up and say he's on the 18.
If this niggas sugar's over here 18, he got him in here doing this recording shit,
shit and he started fucking it up.
You're gonna say, oh, he's 18.
Give us a kid.
You're fucking up alive,
you don't give a fucking hard.
You hired this, like,
why did you hire him?
Why did you hire this 18 year old nigga to fuck it up?
Should we not do that.
What if he was a prodigy though?
It's insane.
Nice on me.
You gotta give everybody the same thing.
Like, if everybody is saying,
like, everybody don't get the same.
Like any business, like any business,
we own your ass.
Like any business.
Everybody don't get the same.
name grace.
Like any of this is around the world, if there's a 19-year-old person that comes in
and there's a 28-year-old, then they're both starting to work for the first time.
That 28-year-old can't make the same mistakes as this 19-year-old.
No, not even.
Vijay.
20.
BJ for the Sixers.
11th grade.
Exactly.
So we're going to make excuses why he shouldn't be in front because his age.
That's insane.
I never seen in front of what.
Unbelievable.
Unbelievable.
Don't know what the game is.
Don't want to shit.
We both knew.
We both knew.
We both knew.
Everything you see is new.
So when my boy AJ, when my boy AJ come from BYU, when he get here next year, it's going to be what?
How old is AJ?
He's probably 37.
Well, well said.
He re-do, do you reclass?
No, I think he stayed the same.
18 years old.
18 years old.
He'll be 19 next year, so he's going to miss out on the 18.
He will be.
He will be 19th.
I mean, I ain't a lot.
AJ better than all of them.
Man, he turns 19, January, 22.
We ain't going to give him no grace because he's 19.
I mean, I haven't seen the way in the NBA yesterday, but that's time to tell.
He's a bus.
Oh, man.
He's a bus.
We're going to crazy over Cooper Flagg for four games because he had one game.
Ace Baby.
How is he?
People call bus at two games.
Shit, that's number one pick.
I mean, stop.
I mean, shit, work on your game.
Oh, he can't.
He don't have to because he 18.
Yeah.
Oh, Cooper don't got work on his game with them two.
points, huh? Yeah, work on your handle.
Point guard. You need to work on your passing.
Work on your life.
You got zero sense.
You got to work on your life.
You got to work on your life.
You got to work on your life.
If you won't sit to happen for you in life and be able to, you know,
work on your life.
It's who.
Man, got a good family.
Do I see you doing some extensive research?
Sponsed by New Balance.
Huh? Working the phone.
No, I was checking to see like last year's number one picture.
Last year's number one pick, how long it took him to score 20 points?
Zach O'Lean, he's French, though.
Oh, how long did it take?
He had French.
I don't know.
I stopped.
It was down.
It was like, 5, 3, 7, 5, 3.
And we all was like, oh, you know, it's this first year he got to get acclimated.
We all said that.
Yeah, I can give you that answer right now if you just asked.
No, I know, it's like 10, 11, 12.
Ooh, shit, I'm looking at all of them.
But you know how, like, we gave him his grace.
Like, we didn't even talk about him as a rookie.
We didn't even talk about the first and 15.
Anthony Davis?
Oh, these people with 19.
19.
Don't do that.
They got Nick on the phone.
Oh, shit.
And Carl Anthony?
Oh, man.
Oh, shit.
The nigger's not even 19, but you're comparing it to 19.
That is the great people.
No, it's not the same thing.
They're turning 20.
All right, yeah.
You see how, W.
They're going to move it every time.
You compare the 8-year-old turning 19 to 19 to 19.
turning 20.
None of those guys got into the league and was playing a game at 18.
He is the only player that's playing games at 18.
That's why it's the younger.
Like all of them names you named, that's why he's the second youngest and it's been 20, what?
How many years?
He's the go.
How many years?
22 years.
He's the second youngest.
Relax.
To start a game, not play a game, to start a game, the second youngest since LeBron James.
I've never seen the 18-year-old do.
Jesus Christ.
That shit is so cold.
Y'all just said it without saying it.
They said, when is A.J. coming in?
He's amazing.
Where's A.J. right now?
When he's going to 18 is amazing.
Where's he at?
Oh, he's in BYU.
Where is that?
Is that the NBA?
No, it's college.
Is that the G-Lead?
That's college.
So his comparison guy, that they were in high school together is at BYU at college right now.
Come on, man.
And one is in the NBA testing his field out.
Come on, man.
playing against grown NBA players.
Average in 13 points.
That's not.
We know the real.
We know the real.
He re-classed to duck that smoke.
It's only four games.
He reclassed that smoke with AJ.
The AJ DeBancers smoke.
He just ducked that.
What?
I'm ducking smoke.
A lot of niggas is ducked up?
Because you know, you're not going to go number one when I'm next to you.
It don't even matter.
I got to see you anyway.
I'm going to see you anyway.
No.
We're going to be the same.
You're going to get here.
You're going to get here.
It don't matter.
I ain't ducking no smoke.
Actually, I'm saying I actually don't want to play against y'all.
Actually, actually, I'm trying to challenge myself.
They were in the same class.
Oh, they are.
But you know, one is black and what is white?
No, what is the NBA?
All right, let's keep the real.
One is white and white.
The white and black ain't got nothing to do with it.
Huh?
Yeah, you ever see somebody white.
We're going to have to bring you up because we don't want that.
That boy right there.
That boy right there.
Hey, that boy right there.
Hey, that boy is going to meet.
They're going to meet next year.
And I guarantee one is going to be running at a higher engine because he played 80-something games as an NBA player.
And guess what?
We're going to have an excuse for AJ Reddy.
Yes.
Hey, AJ.
Don't worry about you.
You're just a rookie.
You're just a rookie.
He's got a year ahead and you don't worry about it.
All he got to do is get four.
All he got to do is get four.
We've done it more.
We've done it for every rookie in your exchanging.
Because of what was said about him?
That's the number one pick.
We said about Wimby.
We said it about every rookie that came in.
I almost brought the crock pot.
Noodles?
I almost said it about the stockpies.
We don't even talk about rookies usually.
We never really started talking about rookies because of LeBron Jameson.
His name is Brunney.
Brony, I'm just saying he was the first draft pick since we talked on here since everybody
had been talking about rookies.
Nobody talks about rookie.
Was Wimby a rookie?
Yep, man.
We did talk about it.
Well, Henderson was a rookie?
Yep, we didn't bash you.
Brandon Miller was a rookie.
We haven't bashed.
We ain't bashed.
We ain't saying nothing about that.
We didn't say nothing about it.
Because they're playing, what?
Are they, were they playing good or?
We don't know.
We don't even know.
We wasn't saying nothing about them.
Then we talked about Saskiaeer in Zachary.
We talked.
We talked about.
Phenum.
A phenone.
A phenyl.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, let's stop.
He's the fucking Phenna.
He's a big player that ever been.
Oh, Mark, we've never seen anything like.
How nobody is no better to him
He's no Fina
LeBron-Aidna
Finolemy B'i-U-U-U-Nah
F-Nah!
F-N, he's just 18
He's a fucking Fee-N
and I got two points.
Two points.
He was a F-Narm and had a double-double.
He was a-making me mad.
The fuck are you saying.
We're not acting like he's fucking the niggins.
Are you asking that?
You just said,
We don't know nobody in that,
you said, we said,
M-N-N-Last-T-M-A.
You said,
he wasn't.
He wasn't.
He wasn't.
He wasn't.
You see it out here?
We have left here.
He was talking N.
M.B.
Now he's talking N.
Mbp.
Now he's talking NBP.
No.
Exactly.
Now we're talking third year.
No.
No.
He's 21 now.
He's 21 now.
Wemby average last year.
Wemby average last year.
They were saying where he was first four.
Two years later.
I'm going to get that shit up.
I'm sick of it.
Cut the fucking song.
Finnon.
He was killing Whimpy!
You know what the fuck is going to go?
He was killing Wimpy.
Now he's up here with the Wimby.
Now he's juggling the Wimpy.
He's an FDP now.
Six-7.
I'm doing this.
I'm like this with Wimby.
I ain't doing this.
I know you want.
I'm pumped up.
Same thing, 21.
Yeah.
That's what we doing.
He's 21 right now.
I'm pumped.
I'm pumped.
Yeah.
But I never said two points.
Oh, he's 18.
That's one thing.
Because he wasn't
18.
Never did that.
Because he wasn't
He said it was last time.
He got it.
Last time is bad.
Last time is worse.
Cook.
Lunch time is worse.
No, not.
You know last time.
You know less time.
All right, man.
Generational balance.
You say he was a generational.
They would have been a bus.
That's just keep it right.
No.
No.
A hundred percent.
I didn't hear nobody.
We call it Cooper flag a bus at the four games.
It's fucking crazy.
You don't hear this two points.
You use an 18 as an excuse.
excuse after four games is crazy.
We call it Cooper playing a bus after four games is crazy.
Shit, honestly.
After he started off with a double double A and had 20.
After LeBron with the warrior, I mean, Cleveland?
Anthony Bennett.
Who's your favorite player this year?
Anthony Bennett.
Yeah, we got favorite players this year, so I know.
Because when they have a bag.
They won't have two.
They're not going to be 18, though.
I can tell you they're going to be some old ass thing.
They won't have two.
Who?
Whimby?
Whimby had six.
The second game.
It wasn't two.
It wasn't two.
That damn they're not scoring.
I scored.
No, no.
It's not damn near.
I scored.
I scored.
I scored.
One of nine.
Oh, okay.
Two-point performance gets a thunder.
Let me see.
Let me see how old you was when you had zero.
Let's see how old your ass was.
See, you were all of us.
Oh, there we go.
Orlando.
Okay, you only play one minute so that I don't count.
They count.
It's what you call.
Move in the goal.
When you got to go to this,
But you were playing with us, so you was going to score zero.
No, no, no, no, no.
He played 35 minutes ahead, two fucking points.
Starting.
Now, this is what we do.
We're going to compare him to the end.
I got to one minute now.
I said, I'm not compared.
No, no, go.
Keep going, keep going.
I said, keep going to be going to win.
I said, you're going to be going to be winning.
Whoa, wait a minute.
What are we doing?
That's, wasn't, wasn't Ben's number of names.
All right, man, me get high.
And all that knows, the number one person?
Where that's right.
We're going to pass on doing Mosley fans today.
The conversation was a little too close.
I said Benzzi.
