Welcome back to Gills Arena presented by Underdog Woo Woo!
Happy holidays, everybody celebrates.
We've got a full couch here.
Kick off this holiday season.
How are everybody feeling?
Good.
Good.
We got a lot of jerseys, a lot of festivities here.
Christmas color.
There's just two jerseys.
A lot is three, right?
A lot is one or more?
But this is Gilles Arena, presented by Underdog Woo-Woop!
I'm merely a host, Josiah Johnson.
As always, we've got the NBA legend and NBA 2K legend.
Gilbert Arena is here with us.
Rocking the hand, man.
I see it.
I see the next to Gil.
We're joined by NBA Champion of the World Swaggy Pete, Nick Young.
With that Elijah Arenas.
You'll see it, baby.
We need to see it on the court.
We will.
Okay.
Rank 24.
Y'all rank?
Oh, okay.
Let me sign.
What a woman's all that matter?
That's all that matter.
Hey.
I'm coming over.
You came up.
Oh, Mr. B.
I like it.
Oh, damn.
I'm almost different.
I don't like this.
Huh?
Representing tough crowd in a card-carrying country club member.
We got Mr. B, Brandon Jennings.
Yeah.
Country club member, look at my shirt.
Shout out Rob.
Yeah.
Official.
Are you going to be golfing when it rains?
Yeah.
All right, I'm going to see you out there.
Okay. I'm going to drive by.
I got your umbrella. I got your umbrella.
I'm giving out, hey, I'm giving out umbrellas.
So it's about to start raining.
Okay.
I'm going to see you out there.
Mr. B. Did you have some umbrellas before the show.
On this side of the couch, we got the distinguished gentleman from Oak Cliff, former number one pick, Kenyon Martin.
What's that?
Uh-uh.
Can you start talking football yesterday?
Back in basketball today.
There's some good work over there.
You got the football in?
Yeah, yesterday.
Yeah.
A little something.
A little something.
Jack of all trades, man.
All right, all right.
Diversifying out here.
Last but not least, the man they call Cemetery Larry,
NCAA Champion of the World, Rashad McCants.
Suited and booted for this holiday season.
Went back 05, 06.
Prada, right?
05, that's 05, right?
Kent?
Yeah, yeah, no, 5.
They're probably going to change, though.
No, they're timeless, man.
Yeah.
I like them.
Good.
A couple of them.
I know you stole a couple of them.
I know that's fine.
So we got a lot of basketball to discuss.
Here's what's Cracking in Gills Arena today.
The Wolves handed the Thunder their second loss in less than a week and third of this season.
Will O KC still get to 73?
I heard it.
I heard the throat clear.
Some things in this cut, okay.
I had to actually clear my throat.
Don't make sure.
Let you know.
Don't do that.
I heard it.
Kevin Durant says he crossed the line with his trash talk.
to Bruce Brown.
But is the game, the game?
Is there really a line
when it comes to basketball?
And Draymond Green left the Warriors bench
after a heated argument with Steve Kerr.
Is this a bigger deal than they're making it out to be
or par for the course when it comes to these warriors?
But before we get into all that,
as always, this show is brought to you by Underdog.

There's been a lot of things happening, but, man, we've come a long way.
And surpassed all the people we thought was our competitors in the beginning.
We are our own competitor at this point.
Gil created a model.
Shout out to Gil.
He's a visionary for the whole thing.
Regardless if he want to be or not, this is his shit.
And we wouldn't be here without him.
So shout out to Gil, grateful.
He allowed me to be a part of this shit for sure.
We've come a long way since our first show back in February, 2023.
Almost 2026 right now.
A lot of people didn't expect us to be on this long.
Didn't think we were going to run the numbers up like we did
and continue to do, but it is what it is.
Mr. B, what is it?
It means to you to be on the number one daily sports show
on YouTube, all sports, basketball, football, tennis, hockey,
Batman, Cricket, Tiddly Winks.
I mean, for us to start off season one
and nobody said we were gonna get past season one
to be here is great.
You know, we're doing it our way,
and we created a culture.
You know, if it's, you know, we're not on ESPN
or anything like that, but as far as what we do,
and, you know, the things we talk about and everything
is working out.
So I'm happy to be a part.
It's right you were a champion in the NBA.
Now you're a champion on daily sports YouTube shows.
It's just a winner at life, man.
Just carried on just the winner, bro.
No, I want to thank y'all for bringing me on.
You know, I'm grateful for the opportunity
to be here every day with y'all.
and doing the things we do.
It's a blessing.
It's fun for me, you know.
After basketball, you kind of get, you know, lost a little bit.
So I kind of felt that joy again and coming here
and being able to talk sports
and just feel like being in that locker room again
around you guys.
So I appreciate you all.
Aw.
Come on, Nick.
Give me a hug, man.
Give me a hug.
Swaggy.
Keep your thumbs.
Please hold your thumbs up so we can see.
He's going to Jalen brown me, brother.
Keep your thumbs in the air for us, please.
I see the paint, brother.
I don't want you to chill and brown me.
Okay?
All right.
Last finale, Gil, what does it mean to you
have the number one daily sports show
on YouTube, Gil's Arena, presented by
Underdog Woo-Woo?
How long have we been number one?
Since we started?
Sufficient.
Since we started.
Since we started, honestly.
Now everybody coming for the crown though.
Every time the Bulls win the championship,
you're going to celebrate and brag about it.
Don't pray.
I mean,
damn.
I'm saying.
Like,
I really,
we won nine awards last year.
Like,
what are we in 2025?
What are we talking about?
Keep doing the work,
but we appreciate you.
Oh, yeah.
You don't need to appreciate me.
I'm a big deal around my house,
thanks to the people, man.
I got a YouTube plaques.
My son thinks I'm going to listen to this shit.
Daddy's a YouTuber.
Dad is a YouTuber and I got a million subs.
He's telling all his partners.
You ain't know where close with this.
No, listen.
They're telling all his partners at the school.
I'm a big deal in the second grade, God damn it.
My daddy.
I'm talking about my daddy got a million subs.
Daddy is a YouTube.
No, but we appreciate you.
You're any ponjoers?
I got it.
The plaque, you know.
He got more.
No, but it's the money.
In all sincerity, obviously the show's been an amazing spirit, tremendous ride.
But like, can you say, everywhere we go now, everybody talking about the show.
I was at the C-Sons-Sac-Stade game last night with Mr. B.
Watching Mikey Williams, Shakira, O'Neill, Mike Bibby, all there.
See, man, they would have to bomb rush you.
I was in there.
I was in there taking pictures.
I had to get a little Larry's game, man.
Shout out Larry Hughes in second, too.
No, he go.
I know he go.
Hey, okay.
No, I know.
Yeah, shout out Larry Hughes, too.
Shout out Josiah Davis from C-Sund, too.
He got to it, 22 and 10.
He was putting in some work as well.
But everywhere we go on the streets, police officers, regular folks, the most random people you can imagine.
Police for sure.
I mean, we watched the show like, cool, can I get out of this ticket then?
I'll give you a woo-woof.
I'll give you a woo-woof.
I'll get you two woo-woof to get out of this ticket.
You're out of his soliciting woo-wolf, boy?
Can't if we avoid traffic school, I'm good to go.
I'm good to go.
I mean, you know, a little bonus time, Christmas.
It is Christmas for someone.
Still broke, baby.
You gotta need a little advance, you know what I'm saying?
A little bump on that with that number one spot.
Shout, I talk to underdog.
They have a Jamir Gibbs.
Give me pick.
We're keeping it good for you.
We're keeping up to the same.
We deserve a little promotion of something.
But I appreciate everybody who pulls up every day, everybody in the chat.
Appreciate you to the underdog as well, the whole crew and team over there.
And we're going to keep this thing rocking.
So let's get into some basketball since we have you here today.
Thunder and Wolves met in Minnesota Friday night for the second time this season.
Okay.
taking the first meeting at their crib. Minnesota had Ant Man back in the lineup
after missing the previous three games with right foot soreness and Ant got
some get back in his burgeoning robbery with SGA. Let's take a look at the
highlights if we can please. So this one started with some fireworks. Wolves
head coach Chris Finch crashing out midway through the first quarter getting
ejected yeah. Oh no you gonna see it right here in a fast break. There's a
reason why they stopped that fast break. Chris Finch crashed out on
the ref went back repeatedly. Anne thought he got fouled. Julius Randall thought he got
fouled. Chris Finch thought they both got fouled. Finches had an issue with the
reps of late. Had to be restrained by multiple coaches and security personnel before heading to the
locker room. Assistant Mike Anori took over head coaching duties for the rest of the game.
Finch was fined 35,000 for the league, excuse me, were directing inappropriate language towards
game officials and failing to leave the court in a time.
man are following his ejection.
How much he got?
Yeah, I just thought.
Oh, 35?
Yeah.
Okay, cool.
That's the going rate deal.
I don't feel bad.
Because I got them same charges.
We picked things up in fourth quarter in a game that went down to the wire.
SGA had 35.7.
It says two steals, including some big buckets to keep things.
Interesting.
Jaylon Williams added 17 and 7 boards.
Chet Homer and AJ Mitchell both have 14.
So Julius Randall, 19, 8 boards and five dine for the wolves, but he was three for 15 from the field.
Nas Reed and Bones Highland provided sparks off the bench.
Reed putting up 15 to 6 boards,
bones adding 13 in his 16 minutes
of action. So Amman finished with 26.12
rebounds, three steals, and two blocks of 41
minutes coming up big in the clutch
when the squad needed him the most.
We just showed you the under a minute remaining the wolf down two.
Ant Man took matters on hands, hitting a go ahead,
step back three. In case and Wallace's
the grill to put the wolves up one.
On Thunder's the swing possession, he came up with a big
block on SGA, then a rebounder set up
some Julius Reynolds free throws, and then
the wolves up three
came up with this big steal on SGA
to preserve the win
for the Minnesota Timberwolves
after tying the 2016 Warriors with their 24 and 1 start
Thunder have lost two of their next three games
after the game Ant Man explained his mentality
in taking a three instead of trying to tie the game
I receive a lot of negative
criticism because I never go for the tie
I heard Gibbon arenas not too long ago say
I'm trying to I'm ready I'm trying to go home so I'm going for to
game. There's time.
I heard Gilbert Arena saying not too long ago, I'm trying to go home.
If you know something, he will say, repeat it even when he's in his own house.
All right.
So, we'll follow it up the Thunderwin with another one against the Bucks Sunday.
They trailed at halftime in both of those games.
Now 12 and 5 when trailing a halftime this season, 9 and 2 in their last 11 games.
But, Gil, you heard it give you love.
Do you respect Ant Man's go for the win mentality?
Yes, it's a game of runs, so you got to know when you're on one.
It's a game of star power.
When you're talking about the best players in this game, then it becomes math, right?
If you got a chance and you are that dude, it's a chance between the two to tie the game or three to win it, go for the win.
And do not go for the tie, go to overtime, like, nah, go for the jugular.
It's either win or lose.
That's where pressure is built.
And, you know, for the last two game winners, he went for the three.
I don't need no tie game for you to be the hero in this story.
Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah.
I can be the hero right now.
So that's what I kind of always believed in where, you know, you're going to be back against.
I guess if you're going for a three
human behavior has you
a little jumpy anyway
right? Because one, your coach
says something stupid
that handicapped you
no it's what the
handicap is no threes
right? The first thing the coach says no threes
no threes so now your ass is extra
jumpy at the three point line
right? All I got to do is a whole bunch of these and
you're ready to jump because you're just
got programmed to do no three so now I get
the pump fake you're going to get off your
feet, right? I can get three free throws, right? I can, there's a lot, there's a lot of advantages
when you're down two and you go for the three because the coach put that into your brain
already because the coach don't want to lose. So he doesn't hype you up with the batter in your
back. So go for the gusto.
Went for the gusto, knocked down that three officers came up big on the defensive side of things
for the Timberwolves. Mr. B, what do you think about Ant Man's go for the win mentality
that he got from our very own Gilbert arenas?
Gills Arena presented by Underdog Woo-Woo.
Well, it's something he said in the interview.
He said he works on that shot all the time.
So that's something that's his go-to shot.
So that's a shot that he said he shot over a thousand times
over the summer and throughout the year.
So he's comfortable with that shot, and it was a great shot.
I mean, it's a clean look.
And you got the shot that you wanted.
Like he said, he's going to go for the win
and he wants to go home.
So, you know, he backs it up.
That's it, man.
That's what he does.
Yeah.
Especially when you're playing the team like OKC,
you got to like try to break their spirit.
spirit. So that's the shot that, you know, hurts. They had some open opportunities to hit a
three at the end, but they miss. But I just like the way, and man, he had that it factor.
That's a good shot for him because he really was probably going to do a step back two-pooner.
Might as well do a step-back three, you know? So that's his game, man. He does it on both ends,
for sure.
Right now, that's the face right now for me.
The face of...
The Timberwolves?
The Timberwolves?
Anthony Edwards, the face of the National Basketball Association for you right now, Swikey.
He has everything.
Everything that the kids love, off the court, on the court.
He's just happy.
Athletic.
He got everything on the court.
He could dribble, handle, pump fake, shoot the three, shoot mid-range.
the dunk on you, talk trash.
Off the court, you know what he does.
We know.
Shooting up the clubs, random clubs.
Man.
Then the video.
Sure.
He's the guy you want to put down, you want to hate on,
like for the, like the, you know, the ESPN people, you know.
Let's move to this side of the couch.
Yeah.
Can you have two parts.
You got a lot of positives, though.
And the clause, man.
No, he got a lot of positives.
And it's everything.
Definitely has a lot of positives.
What do you think, first off, about ask go for the win mentality.
Second, the swaggy saying that end man.
I'm asking Nick out of his mind.
I'm asking Nick out of his damn mind first and foremost.
For two.
No, no, he did what he's supposed to, man.
Game on the line there at home.
Yeah, go for the win.
Yeah, you build a reputation of being an assassin and a killer in those moments
when you continuously do it, go for the win.
Yeah, so you build a reputation.
I think that's what he's aiming to do.
um late game killer so yeah go for the win young fella yeah last finale how to him she
cemetery larry ant man timber wolves put the thunder in a body back so to speak gave them their
third loss of the season second loss in less than a week you heard aunt right there giving
love to our very own gilbert arenas but what do you think about ant man's go for the win
mentality in that game against the thunder well um
It's a lot to impact.
Unpack?
It's a lot to unpack.
First is just the wolves.
The wolves, from the totality of it all,
it's the leadership that Ant Man instills.
To be able to be in the position to actually take over the game like he did
and hit the game winner is probably the more promising thing
because of the way they played their whole game.
I love how Finch was able to set.
the tone with making the refs actually call the game fair. Even though they still, he never
gets a fair whistle. He's one of the guys that doesn't get a fair whistle for him to be able
to be as effective as he can. I think that his defense picks up and everybody else around him
plays with more of a sense of urgency. Even Rudy, I think he helps Rudy actually step up to
the plate a lot of times when he's falling behind. McDaniels also, Devinchenzo also, even
Nasbury and Randall has started to pick it up defensively and to put that team in
position for him to actually take that shot after watching the game, it could have got out
of hand. You know, it could have been put in a situation where OKC can be up three or four
where you're not in that position you're trying to play comeback. But I think Ant and his
defense held it together and he was able to take advantage, especially on those last two
possessions to get the block, to get the rebound, and then come down and get to steal
when you would think that they would file, right? So up three, give SGA or Jalen
Williams a chance to shoot the three and they didn't. They just played it out. I think
that's the confidence to be able to say let's just not do nothing stupid. Let's not
foul. Let's just play solid defense and it's a testament. And I agree with Nick. I'm
going to agree with Nick. On the face of the league, when you talk
about growth and maturity, regardless of how he's done in the past and all the little
immature things that he's done.
I think this year.
When just last year?
Yeah.
Last year.
Yeah, the 12-month span of being able to mature, getting the gym, control your mistakes.
If you think about last year, they didn't make it to where they were supposed to be.
But the year before that, they felt like they were supposed to be there, right?
Years ago?
God damn.
So if you think about that whole time off of him get back in the lab and saying, I'm going to make
it easier for me. Let me get in the post. Let me do the small things that actually helped
me and my team in Crunch Time. That was an example, the last game. And so I think he feels
like SGA is the rivalry for him. I think that that should be the stepping stone for him being
the face of the league, him doing the Anna Claus, him doing all the promotions, him having
the hot issue in the game. You can't top that. So I agree with Nick.
And man, I also obviously sought out the advice of MJ.
MJ's talked about it to help improve his game work on the stuff he needed to work on.
He said he worked a lot more on his post-up game after getting eliminated by the Thunder
in the Western Conference Final.
And also, I got to get some love to Bones Highland, too.
Obviously, we're a big fan of Bones here on the show.
But Bones stepping up big in that game, getting an opportunity.
Obviously, him and Ant Rock with each other.
Very tough.
So good to see Bones get a chance.
Get to do some things out there.
Caruso got to think faster.
which part what part that offensive rebound oh yeah yeah yeah yeah can y'all play that
offense rebound real quick when he threw the door yeah yeah yeah and this is why thinking
offensively is very important after end man hit the shot so all the way towards the end if you
don't mind fast forward and forward you know nothing you know we have a you think different when
it's tie and you down one you don't want the ball man man you don't want the ball man
You can shoot comfortable, you can just go in the overtime.
So that three, imagine coming down.
Are you going to play it?
But going for, like, hold on, like.
Right here, Caruso, boom, right there.
You seal the game, rewind, should have through with the chat.
No.
I'm saying, Chip, why I had a layup.
Yeah, lay up too.
No.
He has a two free throw.
Oh, yeah, two free throw.
He left his feet.
Okay.
Left this. Right there.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
But I can't see him.
He's in the cookie jump.
You can't feel this.
You know, you're not a basketball.
He was the past that he made.
You can't see him from behind.
He don't know that.
You feel that.
Look, that's why he's pumping.
All he doing is this.
You can't feel that.
All you doing is jumping in air.
That's why he punched him.
He saw him.
That's why he didn't just shoot it.
That's why he thought he was going to block.
He said.
Yeah, that my fucking left his feet already.
Oh, caught you in a cookie jar.
So if I'm jumping like this and you're jumping forward.
I'm jumping straight up in air.
No, look, he didn't even, watch.
Keep going a little slow.
Watch.
Boom, look where he landed.
Jumping straight in the air.
It looked like he's jumping, no, he's not.
He's jumping straight.
He's going to.
Look at where he's at.
Look where he's at.
He landed right behind him.
Look where he's jumping from.
He landed right behind him.
Okay, look.
That means he's not jumping forward.
If I'm jumping, I'm just through the ball to chip.
Back up a little bit.
Look where he leaves his feet.
Jumping straight up and jumping.
You're laying.
You should read there.
If Caruso just stops and jump straight up.
Look, he moved forward to missing.
No, Caruso does this.
But he should have threw the motherfucker to chat.
Caruso does this.
That's how he misses.
Okay.
If Caruso just does this and jump straight up, he's falling on him.
He's still jumping with his little.
So he's jumping like this.
He's just jumping in.
It looks like he's jumping in the air just to be like, I'm telling.
He didn't jump straight up.
Who jumps straight and go like all like this?
So he's jumping like, oh shit.
What I'm saying is you got caught though.
Like, if that was say right there, Luca or Austin Reeves, they get that foul.
I'm saying he don't, I don't think he really knows.
He just, he's somebody jumping into air.
But I'm saying, he jumped, he moved.
The reason he didn't get foul, like if he would have just stayed there, he would have fell into him.
He moves forward not to get fouled.
So if he just stayed there and jump straight up, you know, and the way Dante landed, he's still not like this.
Yes.
So that means he's going like, so that means he's like this and then like this.
So I'm like this.
I'm like this.
I'm like this.
You're jumping from here.
Yeah, and he lands over there.
Dante's not jumping forward in that picture to me.
Dante's jumping straight up in there.
No.
He's jumping to the side.
He's jumping to the side.
He would have, I think he would have avoided him too.
I think he wouldn't have hit him.
I mean, I just don't think he would ever would have got off.
After decision not to go up.
I don't think so either.
He should have threw the ball to chat.
Check for the shot that bitch.
But, I mean, to the Gil's point, though,
he still could have went up and got up
foul by the other two motherfuckers that was coming at him.
So he went to try to make the pass.
He still had an opportunity to go straight up here.
Yeah, he could have just got the lay up.
You could have got the lay up.
You can do whatever you want.
But I get it, but I'm saying if you just, if I'm in the air and I'm like this backing
off and you just go like, that's not a foul on me.
Yeah, it is.
You're not a jumping position.
You left your feet.
But how are you in jumping position going straight up and you just like this backing up behind me?
That's not your regular shot.
You come down.
You don't do that.
But if you think about what they're saying, if you create,
contact in that moment, they're going to call the foul.
If he leaned back, if he leaned back this a little bit, that's a towel.
You think it's jumping straight up.
He didn't jump forward.
So once he jumped forward.
Yeah.
If I leave from this spot and I end up in this spot, that's not, that's not
verticality.
So if he jumped straight up, yeah, but he's jumping forward.
Any contact out of the house, five ways forward.
He didn't, he didn't land in the same spot where he jumped.
So my thing, yeah, so yeah, as soon as you leave your feet, it's a fire.
Like, no matter what happens after that time.
I'm like, oh, shit, that's the first thing.
I think like, oh, you got it all, man.
Then when he didn't, he threw the ball of fucking Lou Dort.
Like, no, Chet wide open, because Chet will fire that thing.
I just call time out.
I just little pinks, man, just like the little thing.
I was like, ooh, I was like, ooh, he got them.
I'm faster to do it.
So, Sean, you talked about him.
We talked about Chris Finns getting ejected early in that first quarter.
So Finch's ejection helped ignite this will squad
And had this to say about it after the game
How much did seeing Finchie stand up for you guys
I'm fucking with that
I'm fucking with that
Yeah, that's my dog
So I was happy I went happy
Then he got throughout the game
But I was happy
If I would have saw him like going back at the second time
I probably wouldn't back
But I didn't see it in time enough
But yeah I'm fucking with that
I'm fucking with that
Finch has been critical of how the wolves get officiated when they play the Thunder.
Previously saying it's so frustrating to play this team because they foul a ton, they really do.
They foul all the time, and then you can't really touch Shea, and it's a very frustrating thing.
So do you guys respect Chris Finch for standing on business, getting ejected early in this game?
No.
Not 15-11.
Like, he was saying, making a statement I understand it.
Like, I get what he was doing, but not 15-11.
That was the score?
15-11 when he got kicked out.
First quarter?
Yeah, first court.
Like, I get what he was doing.
I told, I've been a part of, yeah.
You want your coach to stick up for you, you do.
Like, because I've been out there, motherfucking.
That motherfucker don't say nothing.
Like, so, yeah, it's frustrating when they don't say nothing.
But, yeah, 15-11, I just think it's a little.
Getting one?
Listen, I understand him getting one, yes.
But not getting ejected when the score 15-11.
That's all.
That's all.
That's all.
He's a little verge of crashing out.
And to get fined 35,000 on top of getting ejected, that's it.
That's what it is, like, verbal abuse, failure, lead a floor in a timely fashion.
35 is the going rate.
So, okay, hold on, let me, let me, I got to ask you a question then.
So what he did right there, 35,000, the world sees it.
Yeah.
If someone says something about the referees in a press conference,
Yeah, you get more.
You go, okay.
Yeah.
So I can damn whoop his ass.
Yeah, you can, yeah, you can, fake whoop his ass, do all the pressure.
35,000.
I say, oh, refs, had a horrible night tonight.
Yeah, $100.
Yeah, absolutely, yeah.
Yeah, it's $35, yeah.
Hey, so you might as well.
Yeah, same shit.
You know, they got the mics on and all that, right?
So they're able to turn the mics off if they want to.
The refs.
So they didn't turn them off when I went up to the mother, you punk motherfucker.
You da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da.
And after the game, they're like, can't you.
can't call the ref,
suddenly saying you're going to kick his ass.
$35,000.
$35,000.
And failure to leave the floor
of the timely fashion and all that shit.
But had I went after the game,
like you said,
haunted.
All right.
The E-Man Doka situation
got fined $25,000 recently
after that Rockets lost
the Nuggets in overtime.
But two-minute report, I think,
showed that he was actually
right in his complaints.
But he said the officials
were star-struck.
Man, my list,
I got a text for clapping.
So,
And that led to me by 1511.
Yeah, get your first tech.
Fitch did exactly what he posed to do, man.
Let me tell you why.
Because the team is going into a situation where we can give them another one.
Let's give them another one.
You know what the other one is, right?
That L, when you were saying 24 and 1, now it's 24 and 2, now it's 24 and 3.
Let's give them another one.
Still ahead of the curve.
Right?
another chink in their armor.
And listen, you know what,
if I have to be the sacrificial lamb for that
to let these reps know
and let my team know,
we're not playing this shit tonight
because you ain't just going to be hacking us
and we're watching film knowing
and we got to stop fouling.
Man, we're not on that.
And then if he see it before it even start, right?
1511, we already starting the bullshit.
We're not doing this tonight.
Get you one.
We're not doing this tonight.
Hey, Courtney Kirkland.
Get you one.
Hey, punk, punk bitch.
I understand, get you one.
I'm fucking with me tonight.
Hey, listen.
And listen, what Anse.
Get me out before you start doing this bullshit.
Yes.
You're not going to do it tonight.
We're going to get me out of here.
Now, I'm going to send a message.
And, yeah, I know how my team going to respond.
And what and say?
I'm fucking with that.
I'm fucking with that.
And that's, that's your player saying, my coach is standing up for us.
Yeah, he would have said the same time he had he got one tech.
I'm with it.
I'm with the first time Finch didn't acted this way.
Yeah.
So this is richly in the past.
That's what makes a coach.
He'll crash out waiting at him on the skyline.
Don't fuck with my teeth.
So he didn't did it.
So that ain't the first time.
That's all I'm saying it the first time.
And this is a show improved game.
I'm with it.
This is a playoff game.
This is the game we need to show them.
Okay, we see y'all.
Y'all know what we own.
Okay, see the standard.
Y'all trying to be in the second round in the first round.
OkC got y' got y'all out here crashing out like that.
Boy, that's amazing.
Nah, we got, okay, see out here losing.
That's all we got him out of him.
Real start of the season,
struggling against teams with winning records that.
It's been different since you won.
Take that hell.
It's been different.
We see y'all the twin.
26 and 3.
It's been looking different.
Hey, 26 and 3.
That brings you to my next point, Kenya.
So 26 and 3.
Thunder lost two of their three games after they lost the Wolves Friday.
But bounce back with the win over the Grizzlies Monday.
The Wolf games the second night with a back-to-back.
They shot 30% percent from the field.
I think 28% from three in that game.
So despite the three.
Despite the three losses, the Thunder is still on pace for 73 wins this season.
So how concerning are these recent losses for the Thunder?
And do you think 74 wins is still a possibility for Oklahoma City?
Yeah, back on, man, that's the NBA, bro.
They got that Frenchman coming back to back.
They didn't lose two in a row, right?
Lost two of three.
They didn't lose two in a row.
So that's the goal, right?
Don't lose two in a row.
Going another win streak.
I'm not, yeah, they're still in shot, bro.
Don't lose your identity as a team, right?
their identity has been exposed.
We see how y'all
been playing up until this point,
y'all momentum and the chemistry
that y'all been forging.
What identity is that, Rashop?
The identity is y'all are out playing guys
by fouling and hacking
and the reps allowing y'all to do certain shit.
That's the identity.
And then y'all get,
you all five doing, they can't call them all.
Y'all getting fouls on the other end.
So what are we doing in San Antonio?
So what you tell them is
they can't call them all, so guess what?
When the rest don't call it, they lose.
So their identity is,
And the top 10 defensive rating
in the National Basketball Association
and the top 10,
the top five slots belong
to the Oklahoma City Thunder
and number eight belong to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
That's their fucking identity.
I don't know what is going on.
So they foul and whatever,
they're motherfucking defending people.
Top five and then number eight out of team.
It didn't show up the last three games.
26 and three.
You could talk about all that identity shit.
O'KC never get blew out.
26 and three.
They are a team.
that's how you know you're a good team.
Like, you never had those off days where you lose by 20.
I don't see them losing by 20.
Or losing 20.
I mean, no, it's not about losing by 20.
But I understand.
Had a good team?
But since people have been coming out talking about how they've been playing and everything,
it's been getting a little shaky.
I know they're working in Jaylon Williams back.
They're working them back.
They haven't been shooting well.
But they got these next couple again.
I think tonight they got the Spurs.
And then Christmas, they got the Spurs again.
So they have a chance to bounce back.
I mean, they're getting battle tested right now.
Like, they are getting battle tested right now.
That's been the difference I've been saying the whole time.
Your strength of schedule.
They don't make it.
And you've been doing this through these games.
You're supposed to win these games.
26 and 3.
So guess who you still ain't seen yet?
Who you still ain't seen yet?
2nd6 and 3.
Denver.
After your, you still ain't seen the teams that's out here playing good ball.
Well, you see the spurs back to back in their number two.
You see the Minnesota Timberwolves.
26 and 3.
We're playing good ball and we show up and we're like, hey, what's up?
They already
They just lost
They already beat them
They just lost
So they're one and one
They already
They already
They already
They already
They already
They already
They didn't get back in Oklahoma
City Christmas
Against the Spurs
21 and 1
26 and 0
26 and 3
We wait
Let's go
26 and 3
We ain't in that shit
We're on y'all motherfuck
next
26 and 3
Who's goal
Top 5 defensive players
In the National
Basketball Association
Not the last three games
Yeah
No rating don't
This was
yesterday I saw it so yeah
last three games
let it update
yeah let it update
that shit gonna fall
so you know what's
they got too tough games
they're going to fall
let it
guess what
you gotta do the update
guess what
they got two
still gonna be top five
and number eight
they still
they got six of the top
tricky
in these next two games
these going to be tricky
they can get exposed
and you think this
hundred squad can still win
74 games
okay single thing
you're supposed to win
yeah
so if they want
The Spurs?
Yeah, that's what I'm going to smack them.
Man, listen, you look both, but you think both games?
You think the Thunder are going to smack the third?
San Antonio are going to lose both of these games.
Hmm, okay.
Let it be no.
Oh, Lord.
Okay.
You know, we're going to come back on.
What, what are you say?
What are going to come back on the show with this book?
Okay.
This is, come back on the show with this book.
Bring it.
Every time he said some shit, it happened.
It happened opposite.
Every time he says the opposite she happened.
I always had to be like, what was you saying again?
Okay.
K.C. going to win both of these games.
Okay.
We've got a little wool cream in there.
Let's get back to Wolf's Thunder.
Like I mentioned, Ant Man, SGA
have been taking shots at each other while marketing
their signature shoes. So SGA went
at Ant after the Thunder eliminated
the Wolves in the Western Conference Finals earlier this year.
Ant enlisted the services of Kat
Williams to send a shot back at SGA.
The shoe works continue Friday night
with the Adidas crew posting this to Ant's
burner account on Instagram.
So it was a iPhone
screen grab from Ant's iPhone with a
missed face time call from SGA with the caption I'm gonna hit you back when the
highlights finish uploading that's it like it that's good content no word of
hit them back after the highlights but we will you roll it with that yeah I'm
trying to lose I'm gonna entertaining like Adidas versus com I like it
Yeah, it's entertaining man. It's for the fans. They both got their fan base, man. So it's
healthy. It's good for the fans. Good for the fans. I see you over there. I don't carry the
way, but it's good for the fans. So talk your shit when you win. That's it, man. Talk your shit.
So what happened when you lose? Talk your shit.
Talk your shit. All the time, nigga. I'm just saying, hey, you said, when you win, so I just
want to make sure you're going to, hey. Yeah, that's the point.
Don't want you ain't going to be on your Dillon Brooks.
Don't lose, man.
Make sure you ain't going to be on your Dillon Brooks.
Motherfucking leave out when you...
So you're going to talk shit when you're in, I'm with it.
Talk shit when you're up.
Talk shit when you're down.
I'm with it.
All right, but let's keep this thing moving.

in the Western Conference. The Nuggets and Rockets
met for the second time in a week and third
time this season on Saturday
with Denver getting a big overtime
win last Monday to improve the 2-0
against Houston this season. Rockets got
some revenge in this one with Kevin Durant dropping 31 points
and Reed Shepard Torch and Diver for 28 points, including 17 in the second
half to snap the Nuggets six game winning streak.
Things got chippy throughout the game with Kevin Durant going at the Nuggets
and at least one of their fans.
Let's take a look at some of the videos of the interactions that went down in that game
involving Kevin Durant.
So late in the third quarter, Durant got into with his former Nets teammate Bruce
Brown, he's changing some words after Brown hit a bucket.
KD caught him a bum.
and amongst other choice words.
Players are coached for both teams separating them
with unpleasantries being exchanged by both sides.
Looking black.
We have another angle of the exchange.
He said, that's not your shot.
That's your shot.
Earlier in the fourth quarter, Katie and Tim Hardaway, Jr.,
got hit with some double texts for drawing at each other.
Tim Hardaway said,
You know, his daddy talk.
They were going back and forth.
As well in the game.
His daddy talks shit.
Even E-Madoka, had to tell Katie to chill, which is...
I know Denver had all the...
Interesting then.
After Nuggets had coach David Adalman crashed out,
when he rejected from the game,
Katie can be controlling him.
We see the angle right here,
tell him to get your ass out of the game.
Devin didn't ring back for 2013.
Katie also got in two with a Nuggets fan proceeded to mock the fan after hitting a big three midway through the fourth quarter to put the rockets up 17.
Oh shit.
Oh shit.
Those holster weapons, KD.
Oh no.
Oh no.
Wait, is that a farm?
Huh?
He had permits for the guns and he claims.
He got a license.
He lived in Maryland.
He was permanent.
Yeah, man.
Gotcha.
Colorado, open carry.
Easy money sniper.
You know what I mean?
Easy money.
After the game, K.D. and Brown offered these thoughts on their trash talk during the game.
I wish there was fighting.
I wish we didn't get fine.
Because, uh, would have had some fun.
I definitely wanted to cross the line in there.
Yeah.
That's basketball.
It's in between the line.
Ain't no respect.
Ain't no love and nothing.
If people show love to me, they cross the line and line.
the line in line with the kids of the county you know what I'm saying part of the game some
people can talk and play some people can I had to learn how to talk and play as a player
so I think Bruce is probably learning the same thing what did you say
nothing that should be talked to me you know he heard he understood I understood
we have you know we know what that is we don't need to tell you about it we're playing
against each other once again it might cross the line so if that offends you that's on you
next game I'm sure Bruce will be better from
that, but I cross the line in that.
So according to reports, Durant
repeatedly called Brown a bum
and a pussy-ass in-word.
Yeah.
Feeling the in-work.
Unclear of other insults were said. So what's your reaction to
Katie, admitting he crossed the line where Bruce Brown
during the Rockets win over the Nuggets?
He said he crossed a line?
Katie said, yeah, I crossed the line for sure.
Calling him a bum? Like, as a...
He said some other stuff.
I'm just saying as a bum. That's not like
home of bum. That's a bum.
as in you are sorry.
One of the things, we don't have a full,
so lip readers call him saying bum
and pussy ass N-word feeling the N-Worse.
That's normal?
That's normal. That's normal behavior.
Brown after the game said there's something
that you just don't say.
What the problem is?
He's playing defense or not?
I'm trying to figure out what the problem is.
Like I'm trying to figure out what the problem is.
What the problem?
You got a job.
do. I got a job to do. You start
physical. I start talking.
Now what? Are you going to stop me?
Your feelings is hurt?
Like, I'm trying to figure out where does it
with the basketball? Allegedly.
Allegedly.
They said, Katie says something about his old lady.
Yeah. Okay.
So, but.
It didn't help his defense, I guess.
No, that ain't going to help your defense. That's good.
So this is the, like, this is hilarious.
Like, this is the thing, right?
Allegedly, yeah.
His defense got better?
So you're not that mad, though.
So this is my thing, right?
Tough Kenyon.
Talking here.
For the people, this tough Kenyon talking.
Obviously, he wasn't that mad.
If he disrespected your old lady in that moment,
you're not that mad because what you're worried about to find for.
Like, that's my thing.
Like, if you, if you're that mad, if he disrespected your old lady, if he crossed the line in that matter, what you're worried about the fine for them?
I know why?
Because probably the old lady ain't worth that fine.
You know what I mean?
So, you know, you got to think about that too, you know, 20,000?
Okay, touchey.
Half a million, you know, I don't like it like that.
Yeah, see, that's the difference, right?
See, that's the thing, right, like, do you say you, so the words that came out of his mouth is, I wish there was one.
There could be, if you, like, so don't, those things, I wish I didn't get fine, but I want to fight him.
Like, no, fighting.
Don't.
Bruce Brown making $3.1 million this year ago with that information.
No, no, no, I get it.
What I'm saying is, at the end of the day, the fine is the fine, right, a game check.
It's a game check.
So whatever that is, I'm saying, just like Kenyon said.
Let me do my dogy housing.
I don't think.
Yeah.
The fact that he looked at the fine, thought about the fine, I don't think he thought she was worth that.
much money to defend the honor.
That's all.
We've been there before.
I've been there before, okay?
I've been in the NBA,
and I have some not so friendly,
friendly remarks said about my old lady.
I can tell you one damn thing.
Whatever they were said,
they was most likely right.
And I was not going to lose no extra dollars.
I'm just being honest.
You was on the team,
you heard what they were saying?
Did I flinch?
Did I flinch?
I'm trying to get us killed.
But after the game, so it didn't get to this point,
half a million dollars for that.
It didn't get to this point.
You didn't come after the media,
but I want to fight him,
but I'm worried about the fine.
Like, you didn't say that.
Right, that's my thing.
Like, you, so you, like, dude.
Is that really taking it too far, though?
What?
How much old lady?
It depends on what he said.
I mean, if we know her and you white,
that's on you.
Oh, definitely.
Oh, if we know her, if she been around and we know her and you wife her,
brother, that's your wife her.
B.
Brother, that's your wife.
So if she's not been around and we don't know her.
So like, so like if Katie, whatever he's saying about it, he might know her.
1,000%.
So don't get mad.
Hey, you decide.
There's a lot of women out here where you can pick, don't be.
Both things can exist.
So, rappers, athletes, everybody, they got to stop fucking on the same girls.
That's the problem.
So we don't exist.
Like, hey, he wiped it like, absolutely.
I just want to ask the question.
Yes, sir.
Oh, child.
Oh, we're going.
Huh.
I'm listening.
You done?
I'm listening.
Okay, can we cross the lines now, right?
No, I'm just saying, I'm talking with, let's us have to have the conversation.
We crossed the line.
He said, we're crossing lines.
He said, I, I crossed the line.
He said, I definitely wanted to cross the line.
I definitely wanted to.
And then at the end, he said, I crossed the line.
No, no, no, no.
He said, we cross the line all the time.
All the time.
As we cross.
This is what we do.
He said people have come at him.
He said people, people cross the line with their physicality, like.
So he purposely crossed.
So you're talking about somebody's old lady, niggies.
He purposely.
Cross the line.
Yeah.
So the line, right?
There's no rules when crossing the line.
That's what, yeah.
That's what I got.
So kids, mammas.
All on the line.
Everybody.
On the line.
All right.
On the line.
No, not dead homies.
He said, it's crossing the line.
It all, no, okay.
It can't depend if we're crossing the line.
No, no, no.
There's no.
When we're playing basketball, there's no rules.
Okay.
Now they are at separate.
to this no rule okay like like yeah you know the rules like I mean like if you
have a disabled child I'm not gonna say about that like I don't like you if I don't
like you if I'm really like you I'm gonna take it that part
mr. me disabled child if I'm taking it if I'm able child if I don't like you
no take it all the way there but that's not taking it all the way there what I'm
saying is something that's not personal between two players if you're just saying
If you're just in the heated, y'all getting buckets back and forth, there's certain things.
Like, I'm not going to, you shouldn't go that far.
Now, if y'all got personal beef, that's your personal problem.
Right?
Y'all say it, that's, but if, you know, if I'm sitting here busting a dude up and he's saying stuff to me,
and I know he got a handicap over here, I'm not going to go there.
I'm not going to. I'm not going to do that.
You?
You, Gilbert?
Some guys, though, they know how you get your hand with it.
Some guys say some slick shit.
Okay, okay, so Mello and KG.
So Mello and KG, your wife tastes like honey, honeycone.
I mean, honey materials was things.
We don't know if they were confirmed that it was not what was said.
Okay, that was, okay, but he said something to where Mello was in the back waiting on them.
Yeah.
So it had to be.
No, because he said he want that, he want that type of energy.
Keep that type of energy with me.
Let me go back to my question, though.
Can I go back to my question?
So that's the, see.
You should?
Yes.
Yes. So crossing lines, go ahead, bro.
I'm just saying, when you say we're going to cross the line.
He said, we crossed the line. We could. We crossed the line.
I crossed the line tonight.
So when I fuck with a nigger that can cross the line effortlessly,
he's not missing. No flow, no punches. My punches are going to hit way harder than yours.
You don't play this game better than me.
I'm going to fuck you up with this crossing the line shit.
Who?
No, but we're missing a.
No, no, no, I'm just saying, period.
I'm just saying for this particular situation.
Well, that's...
If now this is the sentiment for a guy like Kevin Durant,
now he's saying I'm allowing y'all niggas to come cross the line with me.
No, no, no.
He missed my whole concept.
No.
He said he got pushed, so he talked about his girlfriend.
I don't know.
He said, he made that up.
You just made that up.
You just made that up.
You just made that up.
He got pushed and said, I'm going to talk about your girlfriend.
He said, cross the line by playing physical and doing what they do.
He said other people do that.
He said, everybody always crossed the line with him, pushing him around and being physical.
And he said, I'm going to talk shit.
I can talk shit to y'all niggas to get y'all off of me to get y'all off y'all game.
Cool.
And then he's saying, look, I'm going to cross the line, Nick.
The line is there's a respectable talk shit line.
Yes.
He's crossing that bitch.
It's called a habitual line steper.
Why?
Because he needs to protect himself.
Because he feels he's trying.
That's not how you protect it.
No, you can't cross the line with a nigger that can really cross the line, though.
Nick, you remember what I said on this couch?
Like, if you punch me in my stomach, I'm not going to punch in your stomach.
I'm going to punch you in your jaw.
That's, like, he's, that's what he's doing now.
People are pushing him.
Like, that's what?
It ain't about the physical shit.
Not what you're talking about my wife or whoever you can go straight to my wife?
Do you understand the words that are coming out of his mouth?
People do that to him.
Not, not rude.
Oh, he's, not rude.
He didn't say.
Bruce doing that.
Every game, most games, something, he said people throughout his tenure have crossed the line with their physicality with him because he's built of a certain frame.
People try to be extra with him, foul him hard or do these things with him.
That's what he's saying.
So he's saying that when people do that, he can talk about their girlfriend.
There are just people who can go further than what you're willing to go.
You can say this about my woman, my wife, or whatever.
But when I cross the extra lines, like, do you really want to go here?
And then I triple down on this shit.
Like, yeah, we're not going to fight this other.
But I'm glad most of society, when we're doing the 15 years, during the career, right?
I'm just making sure.
While we're playing basketball, right, it's a like, like I've always said, let's hoop, no.
Like, let's play basketball.
But if you take it there, I will, I have.
no problem going like your words like you said you say the wrong thing to the wrong person out there
and guess what during my 15 years I was the wrong person to say some shit like that too out there
because I'm not going to say the I'm not going to insult you back in that manner it's going to become
physical why he don't get physical back with you like I'm going to run through your chest
because I'm going to go upside your head I'm going to do something to you physically that's just
the way I dealt with it doing when I was playing like because of who is
That's like Brian the same way.
If I said that, that's what he led you said.
What did he say to me first?
You got to remember, we play together.
So that's very different.
So if I got to that point, what was saying for me, for me to didn't say that?
He probably said something outside of basketball.
Oh, no.
And he don't like the young little niggas that can't really hoop trying to talk shit to him clapping in his face like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You don't like that word, right?
You're a bum.
You start.
So we all know you belles when it when it comes to Kevin Durant most people are fucking
bummed we get it like yes like if you're talking about skill yeah we get that but that's always
his go-to 90% I'm saying that's but always his go-to but in case for him but is that an
insult no no no you shouldn't be insulted I'm asking you know you're if you are if you are
a regular role player in the league like no okay cool and you're trying to play competitive against
Kevin Durant. You ain't said shit to this
motherfucker. That's what I'm saying. You ain't said.
We don't know that. Listen, you ain't said
I'm, I'm pretty, they're
ex-players against each other. It's like the shit
we used to do. Bruce Brown not the type of dude
is going to cross the line.
He's going to talk shit like, yeah,
we on that. Woo, woo, and then you hear
man, you're a fucking bum.
See, that ain't. Now, right.
That ain't. You don't think that's it.
Have you ever been called the bum?
All right. All right. So if a nigga call you a bum
is going to be a different type
strike if you would type
a nigga that's like, yo, who the fuck is you talk?
The same shit you just saying.
The bum. I'm out. Niggas saying certain shit to you
that'll make you go, what?
He's a champion. I can't know what he is.
Bruce Brown and he's been paid.
I think the biggest thing we miss it, I think the biggest thing we
miss with this Katie thing is. I think Katie is just
tired of people talking shit. Okay.
Like, like, let's think about it. Katie is
a easy person for people to talk shit about.
So you got these guys that's in the league
that are lesser hoopers than him.
like we this is not no more like like like we all hoopers my niggas there ain't
no such thing as lesson ain't no less you want to be a lesser I know I know you may
but there's not a lesson 25 and I average 12 I can't talk shit to you know no no you get on the
plane it's like I do you go to the hotel you got I have a question so what just because
he average 25 he average 12 we can't talk shit no we can't talk shit no we can talk shit but
What I'm saying is, as Kevin Durant,
I'm sure Kevin Durant is tired of everybody talking shit, right?
Yeah, I get that.
So now instead of the secret Twitter and all this,
now you're about to see me up for who I am, right?
So Bruce Brown, I understand what you've done.
But, God, listen, I'm a top 10 player in this league.
Yes.
And I'm on my way out.
Y'all not been to keep talking to me any type of fuck.
Because who are you don't get to tell us, we can't talk to you.
And that's why I'm telling you a bum, and we know your girl,
and this is not the shot.
Now, go sit up here and take this free throw side.
Right.
So that's an emotional trigger for you.
Yes, you're being emotional.
Yes, it is.
You're triggered.
Yes, we can, nigga.
You're up here.
If you're up here, what the fuck is you looking down being like, what is you saying for?
Because why is this guy down here talking to?
Because we have to, nigga.
You have to talk.
Hey, KD.
Who is this?
Hey, KD, I'm on that.
Who is this?
All night, we're here.
We're here.
We're here.
We here.
We're mad.
I'm a man.
I'm going to get you mad.
You got no pennies in the bus.
I'm a top 10 player ever.
You got to watch how you.
So you know where you used to go.
Blackball you before you get exiled.
That's not who.
That's crazy.
That's not who.
That's crazy.
That's not who.
So, Bid, you know, in this manner, people would assume, like,
you're Bruce Brown won, because he got Katie, like,
Riled up.
Off his square.
You know what?
Right, right, right.
If that's what he's out there to do, and you know that.
Like, KD, know that.
It's not, it's not anything new.
Like, this is a content.
continuous thing, whether it's on Twitter, X, on his Instagram page, whatever it is, the fake
one, the new one, it's that people always have something to say.
So I get what, to your point, like, yeah, y'all going to keep doing it.
I hear you, but we hooping.
Like he said, people, he had to learn how to talk shit and play basketball.
So let's talk shit, right?
No matter if it's Bruce Brown, no matter if it's Shay, no matter if it's Nicole, no matter if it's
Brown, no matter if it's Devin Booker, no matter if it's Donovan Mitchell, no matter if it's
Jaylon Brown, no matter if it's Jalen Brown, no matter if it's Jalen Brunson, or the nigga
that's averaging six.
Yeah.
Right, Luke Dorr.
Like, it don't matter.
Like, if we're talking shit and we're hooping, let's do that.
Because we all can, we all get riled up, we all play better, not all, some play better
under these circumstances, right?
We're talking shit, we, I'm bucked, we all know what KD going to do.
I'm busting your ass and I'm talking shit without.
involving
just go right
you bummed your girl
a whore
your mom did
and they're like
no let's keep it
like I always say
let's keep it here
but but
Brandon
so you can't use your
hold on Bradford
hold on Gil
no I haven't said
another 30 minutes
but look you know
you know
you know
we are all primary
basketball players
that they have to send
the motherfucker in
to rile us up
that one motherfucker that
foul that Lou dork
nigger that sit in
if we get hot
Hey, go piss him off, go trip him up, go foul him a little bit, go have him looking like, damn, ref.
And what happened?
You sending this thing in to fuck up my vibe.
You don't have to tell him to do you do that.
So, if Bruce Brown is the vibe killer, Lou Dorr is the vibe killer, Dylan Brooks is the vibe killer,
Lance Stevenson is the vibe killer.
You know, you've been prepped for this your whole life since AAU, since you was in Texas,
since your first rookie year in fucking Seattle.
You had niggas sent me in to fuck up your vibe.
Okay.
This is not new.
Okay.
So for you to say we're now crossing the lines,
that means it's open season.
Okay, so, okay.
So you have to be prepared for that.
And I am.
So don't get emotionally attached to it.
How is it not being emotional?
You can't this.
Okay, go ahead, man.
Go ahead.
Basketball is emotion.
But go ahead.
What's his emotion?
I'm confused on what side you're wrong
because you're saying we're talking shit.
So if I'm the score and you're sent in to talk shit to me.
No, not talk shit.
defend me
just play basketball
and then when you get a little bit of stops
a defensive player starts wrapping at the mouth
then I start talking
then I start getting the best of you
let's do that
what is the first thing a defensive player
say to a score when he stops them
oh you weak you start saying that
we call your bum
okay you say something
that I call you sorry Eddick
that's how it works
I'm with it so at the end of the day
if we're talking trash
I said yes that's yeah
you came here to bust me off my
square, you didn't do it.
I had 31. I must your ass.
You won. You left, we won.
What did you say? So I'm trying to figure out what the
problem is. Because you said at the line. There's only one
that one that one to fight. The one that one that
was supposed to come here, stop me.
You said there's a respectable level at the
line, too. You said, at the line, we all know
said it said it a minute ago. You said
there is the protocol that
we know at the line
that, hey, look,
and that's a bit of much. Like you said, you're
going to go at the disabled kid.
This is what you said.
That's too far as what you said.
Right.
So if we're talking about what we're talking about right now,
there is a too far for a certain guy.
You can't tell that guy that he didn't go too far
because his mom or his wife might be just like a disabled kid.
Just the same thing you wouldn't go to is the same thing he said,
now you can't go there, bro.
Don't do that.
That's too far because we're now not hooping.
My wife ain't do shit to you, my nigga.
to you, my nigga, I'm just out here playing hard.
Now, you call me a bum, I'm a bum.
But when you bring some other shit into it,
now it's like, bro, what's wrong?
Did you do your job?
But what they got to do with the...
The fact is,
what they got to do with you talking about...
The fact is we're both talking trash.
But what's they got to do?
We're talking about it.
If I was talking to whom...
If I decided to say that
and you got ruffled,
I did what you were supposed to do with me.
We won, get out the game.
Now you're in the back.
Now you're not.
Now you're not.
You're in the back.
That's what you were saying about it.
That's it.
Did you get you punched?
Now you're in the back talking about I wish there was fighting.
That's why I said something.
Because he said he crossed the line.
No, no, no, no.
They asked Ruth Brown first.
He said, I wish we can fight.
So obviously he was rattled.
Because he said there's certain shit you don't say to people.
That's okay.
That's KD crossing the line.
Okay.
What's going to happen to Katie?
What's going to happen?
No, it ain't about what's happening.
If you're not going to touch it,
If you're not going to touch it a disabled kid,
don't touch the court was going to have a
opinion. It's a losing situation for you.
That has no relevant.
What you're going to do after?
We were talking trash, one pushing
too far, oh well.
That's what I'm saying.
With them two, that's great.
When you know and you've got the name.
Oh, well, what are you going to do though, Nick?
You're not, but we're not, you don't have to go that far.
You don't have to go that far.
Now, what are you going to do about?
Now, what are you going to do about?
All right, now what if you want to go that for?
Okay, what's up?
You ain't got enough money to even.
So, touch me.
What I'm saying, we do know that.
It already happened.
People know better.
I said it.
What people?
I said it.
What did you do in real happen?
Who?
Who?
Whatever?
If you ain't got the type of money,
Katie, you gotta relax.
You better relax.
Like, I get everybody,
would be tough, but if your money ain't
speaking that long, relax.
Relax with certainty.
It ain't about standing on something.
You can stand on whatever you want.
If your money ain't long, you better relax.
And if you ain't got connected.
connections like that you better relax what his money got to do with Bruce Brown would
decide to punch him in his shit but he didn't what I'm just
we don't know we don't know if we don't want to worry about fine like it said
we wanted to do it right he wanted to uh-huh I wish it was funny
so therefore I got to my point there is fighting you just have to do it that's all
listen this because you fight this because you get off
right and you just have to do it don't worry about the consequences
that's all you know just because you get off first that means you go laugh
And he said, hey, I'm with you, yes, but there is fighting.
You just have to do it.
Too much money out here.
Too many people got too many relations for all that.
You all over here.
What's the way?
Bruce Bals and he wants to fight.
It's not about fighting.
The money came by you hands, my nigga.
Money came by you.
He didn't say I wanted to fight.
I wish that was fighting.
That's the same thing.
I wish that was fighting.
I wanted to fight the same thing.
So basically with that Bruce Brown context here.
That's not the same.
I wish I was fighting and I wanted to.
It's very different.
I wish there was fighting so I could fight.
I wish this was hockey so we can go out there and fight and get back.
He was talking about hockey.
He went to the Avalanche game the night before.
Get him extra question, Gil.
If someone says I wish there was fighting out there,
you don't think he's thinking about it?
No, no, no.
If we were sitting there going back and forth and you didn't try to fight
and then you're going to back and make a wish,
then you were making a wish because you had the opportunity to try to fight.
I said that.
But you didn't try.
I said there was fighting.
So it's not the same thing.
I said there was fight.
The coach tried to fight.
With Timberwolves, that looks like trying to fight.
Not really.
Going in the back and said, I wish there was fighting, because if I, if it was fighting,
I would have did this.
It was on his mind.
It was on his mind.
And Katie said, I wish it was too, because I would have made this Mr. State.
Okay.
So why would Bruce Brown say, I wish there was fighting?
Yeah, I would, because he said because there's things you just don't say to another man.
Well, I did.
You're missing the context of violence.
It takes a wide, there's no consequence.
He's not out there like, oh, I wish I could.
It was, man, you crossed the line, and if there was fighting, if it would have fallen.
Okay, if there was.
That's my whole.
What did you do?
But what did you do when I said it in real time?
Nothing.
If I'm saying something out of line, I know what's coming because I'm saying it out of line.
But Katie, he don't, that's the thing.
There's nothing going to happen.
Katie knows.
No, there's nothing going to happen.
No, but what I'm saying is, if I'm going to.
to say something out of line, I'm trying to get you
to fight triggers. So if it's
out of line... Certain people behave that way, but
he knows Bruce Brown ain't going to do nothing.
He know... But he wished it, though, right?
No, Bruce said... Bruce said...
Bruce is saying, if we were allowed to fight, we would have
fault. It's not about
I want to fight is... If you're really wanted to, you
would have. So why he...
Okay. So why he didn't want to fight...
Because he didn't want to fight.
Because he don't want to fight.
I hear the context.
So, no, for context, Bruce Brown
had attended the Colorado Avalanche game the night
before that game. They were talking about hockey.
That's what led to him. He correlated to the
KD situation. They also asked
if he would have dropped gloves with KD
and Brown responding and said, I would have thought about it.
I would have thought about it.
But he said like hockey,
he's comparing the game to hockey, bro.
He's comparing to the fact that they
allow fighting in hockey.
They allow fighting.
I've heard you.
Say the word again.
The key word.
word. Can you explain what this said? Say it again. What did he say? So they were asking about
attending the Colorado Avalanche game the night before. He correlated that experience as altercation
with D. He said, I wish there was fighting in the NBA. I wish we didn't get fine. Then somebody
asked, would you have dropped the gloves with KD if fighting was allowed in the NBA. He said,
I would have thought about it. So he didn't think about it. Okay, so he didn't think about it in real
time. His ass was out there getting his ass barbecue. He's talking about his girl. He's talking
about your bomb. And he's out there just playing defense. Yes, that's it. What is that?
has to do with the fact that he said that shit you just don't say to a motherfucker man.
You just don't say.
Because obviously it didn't affect you in real.
It did affect me because I said I would have thought about dropping the gloves
if they allowed us to fight like hockey.
Hold he saw him missing here.
Hold on, hold on, hold on.
Hold on.
Here the statement out again, Rashad.
So even if they would allow it, he still would have thought.
thought about it.
Yes.
So whatever you said.
50 chance that I would have dropped the gloves would do.
It's not based on what you said.
It's 90s.
Yeah, but y'all putting that on.
I'm not going to say 90-10.
It's 90-10.
I'm going to say, hey, look, I actually can drop the gloves because we're not going to actually get fine.
So, you can't.
Say that again?
So guess what?
What are you talking about?
People don't really want to do.
You know what?
Hey, I can only speak on me.
What would you to say?
I can, no, no, I can only speak on me.
What you would have did?
What you would have did when he said it?
Oh, to punch him in a shit.
Okay.
So, therefore, listen.
Right there in the real.
He's not you.
Or it's going to be a flagging, listen.
Or it's going to be a flagging one or a flagrant two.
Something is going to happen.
Like, this is what it is, right?
Something right there.
It is going to, something.
I might not punch him that moment.
I'm going to run through your chest.
You're going to pump fake, and I'm going to motherfucking try to decapitate you.
Like.
When Kecky said that thing, what did Melo do?
Right there in real time.
He didn't go in the back and said, I think, I'm thinking, I'm thinking about it.
In real time, they did not.
They did not fight.
In real time, he did not fight.
In New York?
And he thought about it.
The New York one?
Mello thought about it.
He tried.
No, he did not.
No, no.
Nothing happened.
Like, would you say?
Would you say?
Nothing happened.
He died in time.
No.
No.
We don't need.
He thought about it.
Hold on.
How about this?
Can I ask you something?
Come on, man.
At what time did Bruce Bowen get this set to?
Brown.
Brown.
Bruce Brown.
When did he said to him?
Timeout.
It was a timeout.
It was a timeout.
Bruce Brown had just scored third.
in third quarter.
And he said about his, about his girlfriend?
I don't know when.
They said that the tension didn't have been building up.
Do you know when he said it?
No.
Obviously.
We don't know when.
All we hear is about it after the fact in the locker room when he's doing an interview.
We know when something was said with mellow.
We know when something is pushed past the line because the game stops and we need to hear what would you just say all the time.
Yeah, yeah.
So the fact that he out there is field playing D.
There was no impact on.
Yeah, for sure.
come out there on the tip on bullshit when he's from the tip when he said nigger
he's a big ass out of here oh he's on shit all game talking to a lot you're talking to herself though
you yeah because I'm the type of motherfucker he come out there before the jump ball
that shit nigga I step in and stop the ref throwing the ball up hey yeah thank you
hold on man who you're talking to killer he's talking to herself though everybody
I'm just saying, whoever you're talking to everybody, man, whoever can hear me, nigger,
whoever feels like their emotions, fly.
No, that don't apply, Rashad, that don't apply, Rashad, that don't apply.
Fuck all y'all, y'all, niggas, what's up?
That's up.
He's talking to herself.
And he said it in real time, he reacted then.
But now we're not crossed the line.
So this is my thing, man, with these two.
Now we're not cross the line.
If you want to do something, you have the opportunity to do it.
If you really want to get you one or two, three off,
you got the opportunity to do it, man.
Before they grab it, he got all the opportunity.
Before they grab you, you got an opportunity.
It's the purpose of the state names.
Even if they get in between you, go, hey, go look at motherfucking Rondo, C.P.
and Brandon Ingram, go look, hey, you got a real problem.
You want to swing?
Go ahead and do it.
Because, hey, it's opportunity.
Ain't nothing on the basketball for, hey, ain't nothing out of that 94-50,
but space and opportunity, God damn it.
Did he, did he, did he, did he, did he, did he clip him?
No, no, did he pinch him?
Nope.
Did he even pitch the bitch?
You know, didn't he.
Pitched a bit.
Out there getting bucket tiered and you're feeling.
Yeah, we're talking about it.
Yeah, when you know, in New York when he was with Denver.
I was in the suit.
Yeah, see?
God knew.
God, no ass in the suit.
Hey, me, I said it since that day.
I said it since that day.
I knew.
I said it since that day.
I knew.
Keep his ass.
It was a good thing because my NBA career that day would have been over.
Absolutely.
All right, well, let's keep this thing.
Man, I can tell you to Bruce Brown, you better watch out, man.
Katie from D.C., man.
You better, you'd be fucking around to be Jake Paul out of that moment.
B.G. County.
Speaking like your coach from the side of your mouth, you better watch out.
Yeah, I think a little too much.
Wiery strong.
A little out of pocket, but let's keep this thing moving.
Warriors got their second straight win Monday night to approve the 15 and 15 this season.
I won the game, I had 30.
The Warriors got their second straight win Monday to prove to 15 and 15 this season.
Thanks to a third quarter explosion by Steph Curry to propeller squad to a blowout dub over the magic,
including a 41-18 run in the second half.
But that wasn't the biggest story of the game.
So let's take a look at a situation that went down.
So during the third quarter, Steve Kern, Draymond Green, got into a heated exchange on the Warriors' bench during a timeout
with Green eventually leaving the bench, heading to the locker room.
So Green did return to the bench in the fourth quarter but did not play.
the remainder of the game
you see them going back and forth
Deep Kirk
Jared Stackhouse must be
in church now
you see Stackhouse obviously
Stackmas
had his Bible with him
because
You see
Dr. Remai gets up
I'm trying to keep my child
head to the locker room
Yeah he ain't my teeth
Hey it ain't by the locker room like I said
Came back before court
but did not play
From that point forward
Warriors
went on
to get that win. So afterwards, both Kerr and Draymond discussed what happened.
Yeah, we got into it, obviously, and, you know, I took the time out just because I thought
we lost our focus there a little bit. And so we had it out a little bit, and, you know,
he made his decision to go back to the locker room to cool off, and that's all I'm going to
say about it. It's everything, everything is private. And, yeah, I got nothing further to add.
Would you, I mean, he didn't play the last 20 minutes.
Would you have gone back to him?
No, no, no.
He wasn't going back in.
And was that a decision by him or you?
Well, he left.
He went back to the locker room.
And so we moved forward, and the guys played great.
It's a hell of a win.
Really good second half.
And I'm very proud of the team.
Temper spilled over, and I just thought it was best that I got out of there.
I don't think there was a situation where it was going to get better.
So that was just.
best to remove myself, you know, that's it.
What caused the argument?
Basketball.
Yeah, it's what we do.
We play basketball.
It's an emotional game.
You know, people lose their emotions.
Sometimes it happens.
It is what it is.
You know, we've been at this now for a long time, you know.
So, sometimes you wait people for a long time, there's a level of comfort, and shit happens.
We move forward.
You mentioned it.
You guys have been through a whole hell of a lot through the years.
Why don't you think this particular episode will linger?
Because none of the other ones ever have.
We still keep winning.
So it'll be all right.
So Swagie, NBA champion of the world with the Golden State Warriors,
the team that featured Draymond Green and Steve Kerr.
When you see this situation going down and obviously the personal knowledge you have of the inner workings of that franchise,
how big of a deal with Draymond Green and Steve Kerr?
They always fight.
I mean, they got into a big, I mean, a big fight in, like, OKC where it was, you have to pull Draymond back,
pull Steve Kerr back.
But this time is different because they're not.
the same championship team so much different words that's why and with
everything's going on with Steve Kerr, Kaminga it's a lot it's a lot over there
you know but they they always do that so I don't know but I don't know just
don't know where they're at this year they feel like they just just need to
blow everything up at this point and but now this ain't the first time in
fighting I mean you all had to in practice it's
But OKC was probably the worst thing
I ever seen between like a player coach.
They both holding each other back and cussing, and it was a lot.
It was a lot.
So I'll just mention this is the second stream game.
Drayman's missed a huge chunk of game action.
Got ejected early in the second quarter of Saturday night's win against the Suns.
I got back-to-back text after shoving Colin Gillespie
and extended arguing with officials.
He only played eight minutes in that game.
Like I said, Warriors won that game.
Warriors went on a huge run with Draymond's sideline
the final 20 minutes of game action to beat the magic in this game.
But like you said, like they both said, these type of things just happen.
I mean...
Go ahead, go, my bad.
At the end of the day, he knows himself, right?
And he decided what was best for the team at that moment of time
is to remove himself off the bench.
Because it's not like, and you probably...
understand that he is not like he's going to let it go yeah right so he's going to keep going
because he's playing in real time so i'm pretty sure they started over the two turnovers they had
back to back and a motherfucker hit a shot and then yeah yeah he probably talked about that and
what he sees he's going to defend right so they're going back and forth so at that moment in time
he decides to remove himself go back to the locker room because him staying who knows what happened
motherfucker could have been asleep you could have been it could have been the joint pooled again you don't you don't know so he decided hey i'm getting to that point let me remove myself because usually when i'm like this there's nothing that's good that happens right so i i can't fault him for that because it's him and his personality and he knows when a stand down and he decided standing down was him going to the back he chose it it's not like get out and he got kicked out
He decided, you know, let me get up and remove myself.
So he did that for the betterment of the team
and probably the betterment of himself
because we don't know what would have happened.
Because I know if they're sitting there getting back and forth,
he's cold cocking, uppercutton, we'll be sitting here talking very different around him.
You know, so all that happened was they got the, they, the team focused.
They won the game.
Yeah, it's really, does he play well when he's like that?
But I guess the coach.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Well, we had a good team.
You know about that one?
Much different roster.
I'm going to be honest with you.
I told you all last week, man, it was time for Mike Dunleavy to, you know, throw some balls and be able to, like, take it over.
That's what I feel like right now.
I think Steve Kerr has lost the locker room.
Yeah.
You know, I think with Dremond, I just think at this time, it's like, you know, it's run his course.
I feel sorry for Steph, and I feel bad for Steph because, you know, he's just, obviously, he just had 47 or 48 the last night,
and he just wants to play basketball.
ball but I just think just dealing with this like yeah yeah you guys got four rings out of this
which is cool but in the long run it's just more like damn it's going out bad like it's going
out like you know what I'm saying like you guys wasn't champions and now we got to deal with
Steve Kerr and draymond green when every time you know draymond green has a fight with somebody
we saw with pool we saw with kD everything is done like it's just everybody got somebody got
to go and it's like it's not fair to you know the team right now so if I'm might
Mike Dunleavy, like I said last week, you got to grow some balls and you got to get
some people up out of there at this point.
The commingenship with some bullshit and it's just not looking good.
I mean, it's coming to an end.
Like it's dead weight now at this point.
But you know, I love Draymond from what he's done and for his role that he's played.
But, you know, I don't know.
If I'm wrong, if I'm wrong, I'm wrong.
But I think it's time.
I think it's time.
Josh Adamish, you've previously said, Burning Building.
I think urged Kaminga to get his ass out of there.
When you see this latest situation,
you feel like this is a big deal
or is it just part for the course of the Warriors at this point?
I'm a very logical person, and I follow the timeline, right?
So you look at the timeline and all of the things
that's transpired from point A to point B.
You look at a reoccurring event.
Somebody's overly emotional.
Shit happens.
Shit triggers X, Y, Z,
and somebody got to be.
removed from the KAD situation to the pool situation and I think even to the Clay situation.
I think Clay was a part of that aftermath because Clay came out and said after Draymond got
ejected a few times like look man we need you on the floor you're a big integral part of what
we do. We can't afford to not have you on the floor. It's kind of messing us up and then just
hope that we can get this thing on track. So even after the the clay thing, you're looking at all
of the different antics of being emotional and being very passionate about the game,
but it's spilling over, spilling over. So now you're having this, you know, with the coach
and it's, it's obvious. It's something we can see now. So if there's no accountability
and if what was happening in that video was accountability, the coach attempting to hold you
accountable for what you're doing, that says something different. And then to see Steph sitting
there not being able to be like hey man y'all chill the fuck out let's play somebody got to say
something but like you said they didn't probably did this before you get up you so emotional
that you got to get up and remove yourself from the team you can't put your feelings in your
motherfucking pocket but now steve you're saying some slick shit so i'm about to say i'm about
to say like i know the type of slick shit we were just talking about the segment before
sure i'm sure worse than that shit he came that type of full sir
shit, the type of full circle shit to it, across the line shit, the shit that can get
to punch type shit.
That's crazy.
But the coach should be allowed to hold your account.
Yeah, yeah, get your punch, then, yeah, because that guy who's just saying it to can
get, he's going to punch you.
Right.
So is it the guy that's punching people for or is it the people who are saying something
to him?
He removed himself.
I'm just asking.
So what are you saying?
I don't know.
The people that say-control your emotions enough for us to win the game and you not get kicked
out of situations to put us in jeopardy.
I didn't get kicked out.
He left.
The game before, you got kicked out.
Spilt over to this game.
So now in this game, we need you.
All right, you remove yourself.
We still win the game without you.
But now the commentary at the end of the fucking game
and now we got to answer these questions
and Steph got to answer the questions.
Steph's like, bro, it's good music playing.
We got a good playlist downstairs.
We just won.
Bro, we shouldn't even be having to talk about this.
type of shit right now.
That team is down for it right now.
So let's call a spade a spade.
When should the person
fucking grow up?
It's 35.
It's not 25.
When should a person grow up?
When should this person?
No, not a person.
Not a person.
We're talking about this person
in this situation that he's been in, right?
Coming from someone who had turmoil with
head coach in the NBA, right?
Someone who I dislike. We didn't win anything together.
Disliked it for certain reasons.
When you've had success with someone, we get, the game is emotional.
I understand that.
But how can someone if you've had this much success with get you to that level?
Right?
like it's what we've seen it all this is the only person I've played for basically
like what can this like what can he do or say at this point at 35 years old
like this is my point like and I'm I'm taking accountability for like the things that
me and George went absolutely was I easy to deal with no because of the person right
the person was a bad person
to other people, this man is, from what I gather, their relationship and everything has been
player coach and they like each other from winning and having these things over years.
You've built like a report, like a major report with this man.
And how can he get you to that point to where you leave your guys?
It's like a marriage that just, it's like a marriage that should have been ended.
right it's just like now we're just lingering on now we're dealing with each other that part right
right you know like when you're with somebody you just be like all right now we but we're not
feeling to argue and fight we coexist like there's nothing that you there's nothing that you can
do or say yeah in this to get me there like that's just and I'm this is I'm thinking about putting
I'm trying to put myself in this situation as much because like I've always said I we played the game
similar with emotion and certain
things, yes. Me and Draymond played the game
similar emotion and pride and all of these
things, yes. But to
leave your guys for one
and it just becomes
a point to where it's exhausting
to Warriors fans, coaching
staff, and to your point
like, Steph, right?
It's just like, come on, dude. God damn, dude.
So, like, what is success then?
Like, you know what I'm saying?
So, like, when we see people like that with success, like, like, what is success then?
Like, is it too much success?
We can disagree.
No, but I'm saying.
Is it too much success?
Because, like, at some point, I got four rings, right?
I'm going out on top, right?
You know, my career is like, all right, at some point it's like, all right, I got everything.
Like, I got every, I've been in every big game.
I've gotten everything.
Like, what is it going to take for me just to grow up?
Just play up.
No, to grow up.
Huh?
Right.
Just play basketball.
No, to grow up.
fuck playing, but it's about growing up and maturing
at some point, dog. So he's saying
not grown? Did I say
that? Listen, Nick, people get
mad up. His age is 35, yes.
He's a grown man, yes.
The way he just behaved
is like my seven-year-old.
He didn't hear some shit he wanted to hear. He went to
his fucking room. He took his ball.
He took his ball and went to his room.
He's 35.
No, you're 35-year-old
grown-ass man, Nick.
Ain't that the mature team?
No, it's not.
Nick, it's to shut the fuck up in that moment.
You're the player, he's the coach.
Just sit up there, sit there.
Why do you think Stackhouse other coaches
went over there trying to listen?
Relax, dude, do, just, do, do, just.
I agree with the walking away.
It's to shut the fuck up.
I agree with the walking away, though, too, though.
It's both things, right?
You walked away so you would shut the fuck up, right?
Yes.
So why not have the discipline in that moment
to do the exact same thing,
just sit there and be like.
Maybe because I don't.
Or just staying outside the huddle.
No, no, just, did he come back out?
And didn't play?
Yeah, you try.
You, like, so I took it.
I know.
He left the bench.
He don't leave the bitch.
He's still in the game.
Yeah, he just stand outside the huddle.
He was in the huddle.
Nick, Nick, the timeout was called, right?
He was part of the five that's on, that the coach is talking to, right?
They get into it.
You're still in the game.
We don't know.
He probably sucked him out.
But he had to because he left the bench, Nick.
He walked away and came back, though.
That's what I'm saying.
In the fourth.
In the fourth quarter, he left the
quarter. And like Steve Kurtz, after
he left the bench, right? So he's not
going to put you back in the game.
You know, as an angry person, walking
away, I will feel like that's the more mature
thing. No, it's not a fighter. No.
He's not a fighter. He's not a fighter.
Well, as a person like, of y'all
stand there, y'all get mad over anything.
You're not a fighter. For real, y'all get mad.
So if I'm being mature enough to walk
away, that's mature to me. I came
back out and celebrating my team.
Nick, do you, so I put myself in the
situation. I agree with that too. You was on the team with me, right? You play it on the team
me. So this is the thing. I agree with that. I'm looking at it in similar lenses, right? I'm
looking at it in similar lenses. Like, I had my thing with George. Yes, I threatened to be George
Carl up at halftime in the back. I didn't do it. Listen, was I mad enough on that bench to do
it, Nick? One thousand percent I was mad enough to go right down there to the end of that bench
and say exactly what I said to him in the back.
I'm saying?
I didn't do it in front of everybody.
I went in the back and did it.
It was me and him.
I knew I wasn't going to play for the rest of the game.
I think first time, though, no.
It's one o'clock.
I knew I wasn't going to play for the rest of the game, Nick,
which was saying.
I was cool with that, but I didn't do it on the bench.
Everybody already knew what the thing was with me and the coach, right?
And they don't have that.
They got four championships.
They don't have what me and George had.
But I'm just saying, my thing is this not their first time fighting in front of everybody.
And that's the problem, right?
That's the problem.
We should be able to go in the back in us in the room, do what we do.
And it is what it is because we have four championships together.
So we should be able to go in the other than I ain't like when you said this.
I ain't like when you said that.
I ain't like what you did.
I didn't like we do it that.
and go to our fucking mutual corners
and we come back to this Mar-Mu-a-Mufucking
and get ready to try to win three straight
but that ain't what happened.
That is not what happened?
Yeah, but.
I got to go by and buy.
I think they're ready to go, so.
Ready to go?
We're working, man.
That's what I thought, but.
Who's going on?
Two's a one.
Oh, nobody's coming me.
I was in the doctor's point.
Oh, wow.
All right, brother.
Go to the doctor.
What happened?
Merry Christmas, Dave.
Merry Christmas, brother.
What's up, baby?
We appreciate y'all.
Yeah, but you see what I'm saying?
Yeah.
Yeah.
All right, chat, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year's.
We've got to show after Christmas.
You do?
Yeah, we got to show.
We'll wrap this up and then we'll be.
Yeah, but that's all I'm saying.
Like, for the, because I try to, as much as, like you said,
men have them have all the shit we want to, but I think of, I'm not naive.
I'm not going to be a hypocrite.
Like, I would be hypocritory to be like, he's fucking wrong, he didn't do it.
Like, no, I put myself in that situation because I've been there.
Yeah.
But me and the coach, we didn't have any winning, we didn't won one championship two weeks.
Fucking, nothing.
So I couldn't see myself ever being that way with Bob Huggins.
Like, somebody who I respect and we won, like, somebody who I spent a long time together and we, like, I can't shut the fuck up.
I probably don't want to, but in this moment, it's best for me not.
to act like a child at 35 years old
and fucking walk away
when you leave your
don't play for the last 20 minutes
it worked out they won the game
but you leave your guys
for the last two you like so you check that on your guys
so so do you think
if you don't walk away he just stayed here
do you think it becomes like
the situation I mean I think
I think he blows up even more I don't walking away
was like yo all right man let me go in the back
because I know what I'm about I know what I'm
about to do
I'm just saying because the way you were saying it because you've been around them.
I just feel like, I agree with both.
I just feel like him walking away was more like, all right, man, let me go cool the fuck off for a minute
because I'm about to really blow up and trip.
I'm going to come back, huh?
Why?
What could he have possibly?
I don't know.
That's my thing.
I don't know.
What could Steve Kerr, the coach have possibly said.
But he said this is what their relation.
This is what they do.
Yeah, this is their relationship.
But what could he, like, in that moment while we're playing, right?
The player is always that fault.
Like, like, put this type of thing.
I'm not saying that?
I know.
I know, but why are the players always at fault?
Like, why can the coach say anything they want to you?
They can't.
I'm not saying that.
I'm not saying that.
I'm not saying that at all.
I know, but.
But you know, so you say Steve Kerr say slick shit and this, that, and the third.
Yeah, I, okay, cool.
But what could he have possibly said to, for y'all, to y'all point to make him get up off the bench and go to the locker room and just be like, I need to calm down.
Like, what could Steve Kerr had possibly challenged him with in that moment?
If you mentally.
Tough, bro. If you got tough skin, if you're a professional, bro. If you're a professional.
Yes. Yes. You're not a professional.
Coach ain't never said, hey man, dive on the motherfucking loose ball, man. Looking at you.
Hey, Nick, dive on the motherfucking loose ball, man. What are we doing out here?
Yeah, but that's nothing, though. That's nothing, right?
But look, that's calling you out. Okay. That's holding you accountable.
Okay, okay. Like, we had in college, our coaches said some of the craziest shit to us in college.
Not the pros, but we had to develop tough skin in college.
To be like, if I could get out of here with Roy Williams and Matt Dardy saying the shit they were saying to me,
I could get through anything that these niggins going to say.
We're talking about a 35-year-old grown-ass man, dog.
Like, this is the thing.
We're not talking about a child.
We're talking about a 35-year-old.
I mean, but even when you're younger, you're still, I mean, that's when you're way more to be.
I'm expecting that 25-year-old.
Like, you're supposed to be rebellious.
Like, 19, 20, 21, 22, 22.
But we talk about a 35-year-old man that's been, that's, this is not like to Nick's point.
It's not the first time, not the second time, not the third time, not the fourth time,
that we've, people in sports media have had conversations about Draymond Green other than things that's 94-50 related,
as well as things that's going on within the confines of the game.
It's not the first time, right?
So you can be given, so this is my thing is, giving someone,
grace in situations?
Yes, I understand that.
But Draymond deserves
no grace in this moment because it's not the first time,
not the second time, not the third time, not the...
So eventually, dog, this is coming from
someone who had to look in the mirror
and grow to...
Me, I had to look in the mirror
and change my ways and grow the fuck up.
I did, like, this is the conversation.
Either you're going to continue to do it this way
or you're going to do it this way.
You're going to continue to be this way or be this way.
Like, that's just what it is.
It's time.
And eventually, though, you have to grow up.
And, like, we're going to play.
I get it, man.
Basketball is an emotional sport.
We all, shit happens during the course of the game, at home, after the game.
Right.
You got a phone call, right?
You're pulling up to the arena.
You get the fucked up call.
Then you got to go out and try to play basketball.
You're sitting in your locker.
You get a fucked up text mess.
Or you go online because somebody didn't tweet in something.
You read.
and you take that shit on the floor
and you're dealing with this
and all of those things exist
yes
and we all should be extended grace
when we all have lapses
in judgment and moments
and emotion and all that
absolutely
he don't deserve that in this moment
in other situations
the game before that
he don't deserve grace in that moment
he don't deserve grace in this situation
because to Nick's point
happened in the game before that
I got ejected
in the second quarter.
So it's shit like that, right?
35 years old.
That's all I'm saying.
We're just going to keep looking at that team.
I mean, Warriors are 15 and 15, so it looks like writing is on the walk.
We saw this last season, though, but then they made the trade for Jimmy Butler
and kind of righted the ship, but Jimmy Butler is now here.
So do that brings up Kameka that Drayman's out?
Who said he's going to plan him?
He ain't out?
He ain't suspended.
Dremont is still on the team.
We'll see where this goes.
Swaggy.
You said you've seen this before.
So he's going to play whenever they play again, he going to play.
But Camiga is about to happen.
Sting the dog house.
See, whatever.
See, that's the crazy shit about it.
No matter what Draymond, do, no matter how he behave,
he still ain't going to play Camiga.
So that's crazy.
So it don't fucking matter with this situation.
But, no, it's just you, when you are wide or certain way, man,
got to grow the fuck up, though.
Yeah, get off this man.
We could go.
I'm with him clapping back.
You know how sensitive than they get.
I don't give a fuck if he do if he don't.
That's the thing.
If I say something wrong, tell me.
I got my shit off.
I'm just saying, no, we can move on if it doesn't stop it.
But I'm just saying, eventually, because I've put myself in the situation.
Had things with a head coach before, absolutely.
So I get it.
But just say it again, you got to grow up, though.
That's it.
That note, I feel like it's a good place to stop, Gil.
