Episode Date: December 4, 2025

Giannis Antetokounmpo Going Down With Injury CHANGES Everything according to Gilbert Arenas as Gil & The Gil's Arena Crew react to Giannis going down with a calf strain in the midst of trade rumours w...ith the Milwaukee Bucks and debate how this new injury changes the future for the Greek Freak. They debate what's more important to Giannis between loyalty and legacy as he mulls his next move before revisiting the drama between Chris Paul & The Los Angeles Clippers as new information has come out surrounding the messy divorce and debate if cutting CP3 says more about the Clippers organization than the legendary point guard. They then react to Dwyane Wade's take on the NBA Goat debate, telling fans that LeBron James was the best player he ever saw play while Michael Jordan was the greatest player he watched and react to LeBron James playing extra minutes to continue his double points streak. Finally they react to Zion Williamson going down with another injury and debate if it's time for the New Orleans Pelicans to break things off with their often injured Superstar before breaking down the Boston Celtics big win over the New York Knicks and discuss how Jaylen Brown is performing like a true #1 option in the absence of Jayson Tatum. Starting point is 00:02:29 discuss here's what's cracking in Gil's Arena today. So amidst the trade rumors the Greek freak suffered another injury that'll keep them sideline for extended time. What does this mean for the bucks and yannis? Not looking good. You're gonna be out at least two to four weeks, maybe a little bit more. So more info about the clippers cutting ties with CP3 is coming out from both sides. Does the move say more about the franchise or the all-time franchise great? And Zion Williamson's injury issues just won't go away. It's the time for the Pelicans to move on from the former number one pick before we get into all that.

So, Bucks were back in action Wednesday night for the first time since the Yannis social media scrubbing and trade rumor news as they look to get back on the right track at home against the East Top Seated Pistons. So before the game, Doc Rivers addressed a report from Shams that Yannis and his agent have started conversations with the team about the two-time MVP's future. In addition to a report that Yannis previously requested a trade from the team. So here we go again. There's been no conversations. I want to make it clear just for the, I would say one more time, but for the 50th time, it clearly is not getting the one that worked for sure.
Starting point is 00:04:17 Yannis has never asked to be traded, ever. I can't make that more clear. Can't make it more clear. That's not what the street is saying, but things took a turn for the worst for both Janus in the bucks in the game before he could even break a sweat. Let's take a look at the video if we can, please. Greek Freak left the game early in the first quarter with a non-contact injury, later diagnosed as a right calf strain.
Starting point is 00:04:46 Injury occurred as Janus was running back down the court after driving the basket and diamond up dairy bird for a bucket. He sat on the ground for several moments in pain. cursing before making his way to the bench, eventually heading to the locker room. Yannes was playing in his fourth game since suffering a left adductor strain on November 17th. But even without their franchise superstar, the Bucks were able to overcome an 16-point deficit to beat the Pistons for just their second win in the past 10 games. So according to Shams, the latest injury will sideline Yannis for the next two to four weeks,
Starting point is 00:05:18 putting his eligibility for postseason awards in serious jeopardy. So Yannis briefly said he's committed to the Bucks at least through this season, but with these new wave of reports, he might be looking to dip sooner than later. I want to open up the couch. We'll start with you, Mr. B. Does his cap strain force a pause on any trade talk
Starting point is 00:05:34 or does it actually make a future split more likely? I just think with his injury, he needs to get healthy. I think because he's been having a lot of injuries, I think a couple injuries this season. So I think it's just the best time for him right now is just to rest. I think the best time to make a move is in the off-season, so you have, you know, cap space and everything like that. So right now I would just rest all the way to All-Star weekend.
Starting point is 00:06:02 Seems very unfortunate, obviously, given the time and the nature of the situation, he had scrubbed social media late November, according to the reports. It wasn't as recent as everybody thought. Everybody thought after that wizard's loss, that was the impetus to doing that. So he'd done that. Obviously, all these reports come out. Doc said, no, Janus never has to be traded. Shams, Wendy, other people saying otherwise. but unfortunate situation for the two-time MVP.
Starting point is 00:06:25 Best thing for him is just to get healthy right now. Just get healthy, man. I take my time. If I'm him, I'm just taking my time at this point. 90% of the team, so, yeah. So move over to you. Mr. Cemetery, Larry. In the situation last night,
Starting point is 00:06:43 do you think that Janus injury would impact would that have on his future with the bucks moving forward? If I'm looking at everything, top down from every team and every player, seems like the league has become a little bit more injury prone than we expected. And I think nobody's exempt from that. I think proof is in the putting that he's been more injured than he has been available in the last few years. And if you're a team, you're looking at that.
Starting point is 00:07:14 You put that into context. something you got to consider with guys like him Joel and B Anthony Davis three bigs that having you know not all the same injuries but similar and I know it's unfortunate for him because the energy don't lie type of energy you put out the type of energy comes back so the uncertainty and everything lingering with the Milwaukee Bucks with his future you know puts him down for another month he was out for what a week or so Yeah, missed a several games with that adductor strain.
Starting point is 00:07:50 So that's a whole other injury. So it's unfortunate. You got to clear that energy and bring some good energy back, so his situation clears up, from my perspective. What was the first injury? Adductor. Okay. Like the leg and hip.
Starting point is 00:08:07 So would that cause that? I don't know, but he's dealt with these cap strains for a while now. There's tendency to overcompensate around when you're doing those injuries to impact the leg. And obviously, we've seen some of these cap strains turned into Achilles injuries. Obviously, for some premier stars around the league. That's what you said, over conversation. It ain't got nothing to do with energy.
Starting point is 00:08:26 He played hard every night, so. COVID shot, man. I mean. She never took the COVID shot. Don't know if there's any correlation between that in the rash of capture. I would say more improved increased pace in the league. He ain't took that COVID shot. That's a fucking down here.
Starting point is 00:08:43 What's falling over. Right? We have talked about the rash of injuries, particularly leg injuries across the league to start this season. A lot of people attributing that to increase pace in this movement. But, good, when you look at the situation going on with Yannis, obviously the trade rumors, all that stuff. Doc Rivers attempted to shoot those down. You got NBA insider saying otherwise, but Yonis goes down with this right calf strain. How do you think that impacts his future with the Milwaukee Bucks?
Starting point is 00:09:14 impact, I mean, the injury doesn't impact this future because if someone wants them, they're going to take them, it's a calf strain. So if you're going to take a shot at him, you're going to take a shot at him. It's not like it's a torn ACL or anything that's career ending where it's going to jeopardize his actual value. So if there's going to be a trade to be made, it's probably this month he's out if you're going to ship him, right? You're going to be shipping him while he's not playing so he don't get injured even worse. I mean, looking at the injury, it didn't look like he really did anything, but a lot of injuries don't look that severe. We suffered a similar injury like that, I believe, in 2024, kind of similar situation with just running back. Yeah, so, you know, it is very unfortunate, you know, especially with all the negativity that's going on around the team.
Starting point is 00:10:20 I mean, if Doc said that he's never asked for one, then he's never asked for one, right? I don't give a fuck what the insider say, insider, who checks their credibility? No one, so. Maybe he's never asked Doc for one. You know what I mean? Yeah. You know, it could be every one. So I can only go with the person who's there, what that person actually says.
Starting point is 00:10:44 So we can only go by his true words. But the Bucks is, I mean, you know, obviously they won that game. But, you know, they started off bad with readily a healthy team. So, you know, if they can make it to the playoffs, then it's a revived. I mean, getting that win last night. I mean, you know, I mean, this is not what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to be like third, second, first, you know, so the fact that they're 10th, you know, that's inner problems right there. They got a fix, so, you know, yon is being there and not being there, didn't got shit to do with, you know, what's going on in that locker room.
Starting point is 00:11:24 Well, Kevin Porter Jr. was down, too. We don't. You've been doing with some Andrews yesterday. Yeah, two games. Yeah, two games. Yeah, two games. We had a great game last night helping me of the teams with a win over top city team in the east and the Detroit Pistons But yeah, I'll just say this. Janice has never played less than 61 games in the season
Starting point is 00:11:44 In the last four seasons he's played 67 63 73 and 67 games So they're relatively healthy by and large for the most part going to miss an extended stretch obviously with these two to four weeks But you're saying what I think you're saying is true was that the last? last time that we're going to see Yana's playing in a Bucks uniform? It could be. Like, I mean, you know, when you think about some of the trades that's happened, usually that player's not playing.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Luka got traded last year. He wasn't playing. Right? He's working out. He's showing that he's healthy. Trade. Right? So it's usually the best time because he's not out there playing.
Starting point is 00:12:23 He's not out there affecting, you know, change, and he's not out there really getting in trouble. Like, usually if you're on the team and you know what players are about to get traded there's always indicators he didn't he didn't get suited up yeah for sure or if he did play in a trade went through you don't see him after halftime they'll pull his ass off the court you know so there's things that happen where he was like oh shitty oh I think he's about to get traded because you know he plays 38 minutes and he just got pulled out and he ain't planning no more but this if they're going to trade him this is the best time while he's down yeah
Starting point is 00:12:56 I think trade opportunities become a lot more available after December 15th one of I'm gonna be down for about a month. Yeah. Two to four weeks. The timeline seems to line up. Sit out. All the way to All-Star. Huh? Sit out to All-Star.
Starting point is 00:13:10 Mr. B, you said... With the injury, I mean, because he's... He had like two or three injuries already this year. Yeah. So, get fully healthy. Miss games in multiple post seasons now dealing with these injuries. Like we talk about the calf strain. Sit down to Alps.
Starting point is 00:13:24 Precursor to Achilles. I mean, we're close to it. I mean, well, close to it. Wow. Bro, that's a right calf. You know, that next thing is that Kittles, bro. Especially for how hard. That's got to take your time.
Starting point is 00:13:36 That's one of the highest usage rates in the league, obviously. You know what I'm saying? If I see the way he plays. Yeah. They lead the league in fast break points. I mean, he's bound to get hurt. He's seven foot doing all these guard shit, too, though. So that's tough.
Starting point is 00:13:52 You were going to step in size 20. So when you look at Yannis, Janus, one of the longest tenured players in the league. That's 20. I was previously taking pride and winning the hard way by not leaving and joining a super team after they won the chip in 2021. He said those comments. He said, I could leave and join a super team, play my role, win a bunch of championships, or I could stay here and do it the hard way. That was then, but this is now.
Starting point is 00:14:15 Three straight, first round exits, tough start to this season. Here's the Bucks championship window. It's shut tight, at least for now. You did everything you could. For a person like that, I know you want to win multiple championships. It's time to go, man. He said that after he won it? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:38 With the trophy and finals MVP by his side. So him demanding the trade to go win more championship is a contradiction to what he said. What? That was then, though. This is now. So that it would be a contradiction to what he said. And he would be just like everybody else who left. than super teamed up to win championships.
Starting point is 00:15:00 See, the problem is he didn't say it before he won a championship. He said it as, nigga, I won, I did it all on my own. I don't need the super team up to win multiple championships. He just said to win eight. He didn't say multiple, and he was lit just for content. No, I'm just saying. It's one of those things that, you know. We'd be saying shit when we drunk.
Starting point is 00:15:18 You know, the other people who left wasn't as fortunate as you to win it with the team that they were in those small markets. they left to go win so you were fortunate to win but the day you won this is your your your statement and then you're leaving four years later to go win the championship but he won one but he didn't say it before right he's like if he said it before i'm not going to leave i'm going to win the championship here then he wins it statement cool but you're saying it as you won to prove a point to them i don't need to leave and go super team up He proved that point.
Starting point is 00:15:57 No, he didn't, because he's saying it after he won. But he still won, though. But I won. I get what you said. I hear what you said. No, what I'm saying. So I'm making a statement after I'm holding a trophy. So now, because your statement is said now, now you have to win under the same circumstance.
Starting point is 00:16:15 Yeah, yeah, yeah. You can now go leave and go super team up. You're no different than LeBron James. You're no different than Kevin Durant. He is. No, he didn't. He won already, though. That's what you can.
Starting point is 00:16:25 That's what I was saying yesterday. I was saying the same shit. Like, if he do leave, it's because he's already solidified. That's what I'm saying. It's already seen. But you're leaving the throne after you've signified that you don't need a super team. You don't need to do, just like Joker. Joker leaving Denver after winning, it's like, what do you have to prove?
Starting point is 00:16:47 You've proven you can win without a super team. So that is the ammunition for everybody else. We won without doing what y'all did. We proved that we can do this Me leaving, like he's saying It's a contradiction completely That's why I'm like, yo, if you leave You're leaving the throne
Starting point is 00:17:04 You're leaving what you're proving that you can do already It's not until somebody else Come and do it and do it more That's taking the throne But he did it already You can't say he contradicts him But he did it already so he could go do whatever He won't now
Starting point is 00:17:19 Would you say the SGA and the Thunder are currently doing that? So SGA and the Thunder are currently doing that? So SGA Because you stand, like, if somebody comes in after him, if he leave and somebody else come in and they win two or three. No, it's not about somebody else. It's not about nobody else. It's about you. You made the statement.
Starting point is 00:17:34 Right. And the statement is? It's the statement. He won. The statement is, I don't have to leave. He says, I don't have to leave to win championships and super teams. Now you're, now you're, wait, wait. What he said is I could, I could have done that.
Starting point is 00:17:48 Oh, I could have took the easy route and went to a super team to play. I did it the hard way. So now he's okay for him to go do the easy route. To go make it the easy route. That's what you're saying. I mean, yeah, whatever. But it ain't never easy winning. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:02 No, I'm just, you know. But he said, no, he's saying the easy route is going to super to go team up with niggas that can make it easier for you. He tried that too. He didn't try. He didn't leave. His name was a superstar. He didn't leave to do that.
Starting point is 00:18:14 But that's still a super team. But it's not him. No, that's one. I know. It wouldn't be, it won. But I'm talking about, did he try that in Milwaukee getting the super team? Yes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:18:24 What's the difference? Yes. No, no, no. Him, Dame and Chris Middle. That's not super. That's not super. What you're saying... In the East, that's a supertain.
Starting point is 00:18:33 What you're saying is actually a conversation that needs to be had that you're judging, you're judging everyone off of three main characters playing in three big cities that did not have to leave their cities. their cities and they can recruit right magic you're the lakers you can recruit free agents to come there okay boston you can have people come chicago people are coming ron harper average 20 hey come over here win a championship all i bet then there's robin hey hey come over here you know what i mean those cities can do that now everybody else who don't have luxury leaving so what happens is you don't get looked down upon for asking people
Starting point is 00:19:21 to come to you. You get looked down for going somewhere. So if you're a superstar and you leave to go win, bad. If you're a superstar and you're calling, fine. Yeah. Because it's my kingdom. It's my kingdom. Because it's what are you talking about? It's my- bringing another superstar. Don't give a fuck. It's my kingdom. It's my throne. You're coming here to sit next to me. You're your leverage. You're sitting next to me. I'm not going to sit next to you. That's been the difference. No, because. Because Super, like, Dway, a super... So who did Katie go...
Starting point is 00:19:55 So who did Katie... So who did Katie... ...to go sit with... When he came to... So Katie went to go sit with... With the Warriors? Huh? Did Katie go sit with the Warriors?
Starting point is 00:20:05 What do you mean he go sit? Two finals in the feet. No, he's saying like, because Katie left his throne, so did Katie go sit with the Warriors? No, see, the problem with that is... Or did Katie, or was Katie... Who looked bad in that, that whole thing? Katie, right?
Starting point is 00:20:19 Who came out on top in that whole thing? No. Who came out on top of all that? No, that's not special. The question. The question. Where did Steve? Where did Katie go after?
Starting point is 00:20:28 What? Is he still there? Who came out on top when he was there? Steph Curry. When Katie was there. Who got killed? Remember. I don't care who got killed.
Starting point is 00:20:37 What was the final? You're not listening to what the problem is. Steph Curry in that group called him. We need help. Okay. He said, all right. Okay. Who did the media kill?
Starting point is 00:20:54 They didn't kill the people crying. That's fine. They killed him. His legacy got ruined. No matter how many finals, MVP's he's the best player there. He showed he was the king there. Okay.
Starting point is 00:21:06 The media said, but he'll still finish top ten ever. But he won't finish in front of the guy. He helped. You got to remember, and this is what a lot of people don't understand. Yeah, the guy that he's going there. Yes, for sure. The guy that he helped.
Starting point is 00:21:19 What I'm saying is Katie going there. But at that time, gave these guys more rings. Unfortunately, yeah. That's fine. But I'm not even, I don't care about none of that. He was a higher gun. He was a hired gun.
Starting point is 00:21:32 We called you up like he's saying. This Ben Gil argument the whole time. This been his argument the whole time. We called you to come help us kill the king, the other king on this other side. And you helped us. Thank you. That's fine.
Starting point is 00:21:46 But listen, now you can go, hey, what did our henchmen say? Now you can take your ass on, We don't need you. And then what they do? They won without them. That's fine. So now Steph is still the king over here.
Starting point is 00:21:58 But why he was there, who was the guy, though. We know who the guy was. But you're not getting the credit for the guy. Does it matter? I got federal. It does matter. It does matter. What are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:22:09 I still win. You're on your third team. That's fine. I'm still here. I'm still the king here. I'm still the king here. I'm still the king here. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:20 Yes. I'm still top five. Right, that's what I'm saying. Like, at the end of the day, at the end of the day, it all worked out. Nobody's taking, nobody's being hired. You're being hired. He's still top, he's still top ten player all time. They got a top five.
Starting point is 00:22:34 He will be with you. I'm not talking now. So he's still top ten. All the time, it would be a top of a champ. That's what I'm saying. No, the question is this, who gets killed in the move? If both people, they get killed. If both people are being rewarded at the same time, right?
Starting point is 00:22:51 When people talk about Steph Kirby's legacy and Katie's legacy. Yes. It sounds like this. Katie's two championships, ah, he had the super team of those two rings, asterix, right? No, okay. Steph Curry, four-time champs. He got four of them.
Starting point is 00:23:07 Four times. They don't say two without them. They don't say two. They say all four. They say all four. Because he's his team. It's his shit. You see how unfair that is.
Starting point is 00:23:16 Think about it. You, I called you to come help me, meaning I know you are. the difference maker, but I get credit for all four their question in your two. Well, yeah. That is horrible. That's fine. That's fine.
Starting point is 00:23:30 Yes. That is, yes. Okay. I don't recall that. But no, right, right. It's only an argument for people who want to argue. And they don't give it to him. Why do they don't give him that title?
Starting point is 00:23:41 Exactly. That's because he ain't got. Now, no, because he got higher. Because D. Way, call him down there and say, yo, come down here. Let's win over here. It is called Wade County. Everybody else got different things
Starting point is 00:23:53 of why they're not at the top. The bronze, because he don't got six ring. No, that's an excuse. Oh, bro. What's the excuse with KD then? That's an excuse. Yes. But the excuse is real life.
Starting point is 00:24:06 They make the excuse. They look at your resume and say, yeah, you got four. But, ooh, hold on. Ooh, you won two somewhere else. You had this person. That's what they're doing. They're depicting what, how you won, like if Katie won his in OKC
Starting point is 00:24:24 and won two finals MVP, he would have already been in the top 10 with his two championships but because he joined a team they're using that against him even if he's the best player on a team you got to remember LeBron James is the best player in Miami
Starting point is 00:24:42 he won a league MVP if LeBron wins all board Cleveland but the goal is trying to get that final he was trying The goal is to win it. And LeBron wins all four in Cleveland. What do we consider him? I mean, I think undisputed it, right?
Starting point is 00:25:00 Four straight in Cleveland. Don't believe he's there. If he won one with the clippers too, I would also give him. But then there's still the conversation. The six more than four, five more than four, you got two more to get, bro. Maybe even three if you want to get to the top. These are the conversations had regardless of how anybody's feelings. It doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:25:21 They don't got it. Four, six, five, all that shit matter. In the conversation. I think Katie's situation different, though. You're joining the 73 and nine Warriors team already set the single season, wins record. Obviously, then I went in the finals. Got knocked out by the kept. I understand all that.
Starting point is 00:25:38 But I'm saying the optics look a little different. Now you're going to a team as a team as a super team. Because they don't want to look at the real optics. They called him for help. He answered. You know, I mean it. But there's four other teams that go. If people didn't like Brian, it would be different.
Starting point is 00:25:55 The goal is to win a champion, though. OK, so you win one like Brian. No, because he can't. They are the champs. No, I'm not talking about now. I'm talking about basketball before he got hurt. Even if he were the one in Brooklyn, they already had wrote it. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:10 He's the man on this team, but he brung in who? Same with him. Right, I mean? So they, they... Nah, I think it's different because he is his team, and he's bringing guys in. That's a change of dynamic. What happened is, what happened is, you get the call,
Starting point is 00:26:26 and I respect that he wanted that matchup with Bronn. You get the call, and you don't answer what he wanted. You don't win when you get called. He wanted the revenge. What happened? But this, this revenge. He's been to other places. All you remember is KD3 in the final.
Starting point is 00:26:39 Katie wanted the revenge from Braun, so yeah, of course I'm going to go to. This brings me back to Yonis. Yonis, I already won a chip with Milwaukee. Their first chip in 50 years, it's Milwaukee, right? It's not one of these big major market teams. He did that. So what's more important for Yannis? Loyalty or Legacy at this point in his 13th season, three straight first-round exits.
Starting point is 00:26:57 He's a lot to blame for those with the injuries in those three postseason exits. He's to blame because he got hurt? He's for them not advanced to pass it. I'm not blaming his injury. I'm just saying if we're looking back saying we've been knocked out of the first round of three crazy seasons. People use this injury as an excuse of why they didn't win. You weren't here, dog. You missed a ton of game.
Starting point is 00:27:15 Yonis got hurt. We would have just put off him First the heat And the burst of pictures In these last few seasons If Yonis was healthy Right Janus got hurt
Starting point is 00:27:23 They were the one C when they lost at heat Obviously Boonhoza got booted after that season But if he plays All of that series A lot of people would seem to believe That they would have advanced And obviously had a chance
Starting point is 00:27:33 I feel like this So Now when you talk about legacy It's not It's what he want his legacy to be Right It's it's It's how he sees
Starting point is 00:27:46 sees himself because the people who are judging, the people who are placing you in these lists and these orders that the world sees, they have different opinions about how they're judging you. Right? You get a pass. If you get traded, you look down upon if you ask for the trade. You know what I mean? So, you know, like if you're Doc Rivers and you say, he never asked, Doc saved the image.
Starting point is 00:28:15 because doctor is saying he's never asked for a trade so if he leaves it's because the team wanted to so it kind of helped him there but similar to Luca basically if you go team up if you go team up with Luca it went four oh God as players you have five
Starting point is 00:28:34 yeah you got motherfucker five because we know you're going to average damn near 30 and 12 right we already know you're going to do that now will the people who actually has the vote, are they going to give him his four as 100% like everybody else? Or they're
Starting point is 00:28:53 going to say, you teamed up with another megastar? Yeah, that ain't. But this situation different, though. Obviously, the bucks aren't trading yonest unless he demands that of them. No, see, now you change the narrative. Now you change the narrative. Now if he gets traded, they're going to say exactly what you said. Doc said he's never asked.
Starting point is 00:29:09 So if he gets traded, the bucks traded. I'm with you. I'm with you. What you're saying. I'm with you. Doc's saying he never. ever came to. Me. He didn't ask me for a trade. The insiders are saying the dude that he asked for a trade came to me and said, no, he told me yesterday he wanted us to get rid of him and me and the agent had dinner with him. We're trying to figure out where to put him. A lot of this stemming from them stretching Dame Lillard. I mean, he wanted them to sign Miles Turner. I don't think he was necessarily made aware that that would require to stretch Dame. And that's where these
Starting point is 00:29:36 initial reports said he said he wanted to go to the Knicks. That point, who knows what's really going on. Oh, so he thought he was going to have Dame Ann. I think that was maybe what he was Look, at the end of the day, man, as a, he is a, him and Kareem are the legends of Milwaukee, right? They did something that others couldn't do. Oscar? His legacy, who he is? Was Oscar there when he won't want one? Yeah, Oscar.
Starting point is 00:30:06 Yeah, I don't hear him in Milwaukee. Kareem won one in Milwaukee. He did. He did, but I don't think of him as a Milwaukee. Nobody thinks that's because your mind has been. Yeah, you don't know basketball. I'm a bad way of it. He's a first championship here.
Starting point is 00:30:20 Him not over office. What I'm going to hear about what I'm saying is. What the fuck? They have a lot more just like the choice championship. He doesn't put him nowhere else. You know, Detroit Championship, that city loves that team, you know, those two teams that won because you don't supposed to win. It's like rigged against you.
Starting point is 00:30:38 You never got traded from Charlotte to the Lakers. Huh? What did you say? I don't know what was your question you said to Janus what I said what's more important for yannis loyalty or legacy at this point in his career talked about those comments 2021 I did it the hard way walk it one of the longest tenure players in the league I think behind step and dramont only guys were more tenure with their same team now but at a certain point shit we we didn't got knocked out of the playoffs in the first round three straight seasons I mean I'm
Starting point is 00:31:06 looking at this roster right now man the best the best thing to do is just man go somewhere where you're happy, be somewhere you're happy, and where you can just have fun, man. I mean, it's your legacy, so who cares what people have to say? What happened to just winning the championship is, like, the main thing, like, why are people so mad or something? Because LeBron, they got to- If I trade, if I go here to win, but the gold is to win. It don't matter where I go or how I do. No, that was the goal.
Starting point is 00:31:35 Right, back in the, that was a goal in basketball, it changed. Like you just said, Kareem. Because LeBron. Swaggy, they hated LeBron so much. They started using the term ring chaser. Like, oh, no, you're trying to chase championships. It's LeBron, because LeBron came in here and did it his way. But he was at the goal, though.
Starting point is 00:31:52 Yes, yes. That's how I'm a ring chaser, yes. But if I won't champion. No, the goal is to win in life, right? Don't I want a chase championship? No, the rules. I got to let them come to me. The best five, four.
Starting point is 00:32:04 When you have the part, you pick the best four, you pick the best four for you to stay on the court and win, right? Yes. What's the difference? The difference is you get all the way to. to the finals with the niggas you picked. And can I finish? God damn, you can't wait. You can't wait.
Starting point is 00:32:21 You can't wait. Just say. You can't wait. Just say. You got all the way there with the same niggas you picked. And then you left to go play with five other niggas that you wanted to play with. I'm tired of play when this is where I want to do it. No one saying you couldn't have, you couldn't have played in one with these five that you
Starting point is 00:32:41 pick and got to the championship. You were just outmatched with the team you went up again. And somebody else kicked you back on 24 or you ain't going to play on that team? I'm running it back. Are you running it back? I'm running it back. We got here. Why are we not going to run it back?
Starting point is 00:32:55 Because we suck. We don't. We got to the finals. Lucky. How do we suck? Lucky. Well, you got to the final. Well, I'm like LeBron.
Starting point is 00:33:04 I'm out. I got to put myself in the best position. You got to the finals and lost. Damn all that. I can sit up here and play with them. Y'all got me in here playing, being game. I'm going to get Kyrie and everybody, and I'll come back. But I'm always putting myself in the best position to win.
Starting point is 00:33:18 But we asked the chat, what's more important for Yannis, loyalty or legacy? 82% of the chat say legacy is more important for Yonan. 1998 is when ring culture became a thing. 19, what? It was 1998. Before ring coach. There was no ring coacher before 1990. Yes, there was.
Starting point is 00:33:38 It's called winning a championship. They started when the first basketball game happened and you win at the end of the season, the championship happens. That's ring culture, the first champion. So what was they? First champion. In any sport, the first person who won the championship, that started the ring culture. That means next season, somebody else is trying to win the championship. Every year after that is a champion is going to be named.
Starting point is 00:34:05 That's going to be, that creates a culture of who's going to win the championship. No, ring coach are on the players of themselves for the greatest of all time. I don't think anybody with MJ 1 and 6 is going around table. You're a champion. I'm talking to you. You know what I'm talking about, nigger. When ring culture of who is the greatest of all time, when they used rings for your greatness, came in 1998. That's when Jordan retired. before 1998 there was no ring culture it didn't matter how many wins you no matter how many rings you had
Starting point is 00:34:46 it was the eye test of your greatness didn't have nothing with six five three two one it didn't have nothing to do with that when jordan 1990 with 1989 mj was already becoming the greatest player of all times. They already saying this might be the best player that ever walked this planet. After the Olympics, he had two rings. In the playoffs, Magic Johnson, National TV, said he is the greatest player of all times.
Starting point is 00:35:25 He only had two rings. Isaiah Thomas seconded it. In the playoffs, while he's playing, the whole broadcast was, this is the greatest man that ever lived. is the goat. He only had two rings at the time. When he retired, the first time he retired with three rings, he was the greatest player that ever played. No one questioned how many rings he had, even though there was a Kareemadu Jabar, even though Magic had five. Bill Russell had
Starting point is 00:35:55 11. You know what I mean? Bill Russell, there was no... Who? Bill Russell had 11. You know why he never mentioned him? Because you can't... Because there's too fucking many champions. It's too many. We're not even going to talk about Bill. Leave him out the conversation. They did. They did. They had to. Hey, Mike. Until you get this many. Until you get this many we're not even having the conversation
Starting point is 00:36:18 with me against y'all. I've won 11. Bill Russell wasn't going around saying 11 more than 6. And then before 5 and then before he won the second when Magic was considered they kind of had him as a goat. And then in 98 when he retired
Starting point is 00:36:34 and they said this is this is what the goat is, and then they start using all of his accolades. Then they started putting people back in order. And then that's how Kareem jumped the two, and then they started doing like that. So Kareem never actually had a chance at claiming the goat status. Because it wasn't a thing. Because it wasn't a thing. There was other reasons, too, where Kareem wasn't a...
Starting point is 00:36:55 I mean, his religious belief, they weren't really rocked. Oh, back then. Number one leader score of all times. He didn't care about that. Oh, back then. Yeah, back then. They didn't care about none of that. But he was eating beanpox.
Starting point is 00:37:07 Mike has some great marketing back. No, what I'm saying is, think about it. Mike marketing. This is the greatest, he. Mikey. Because there was two guys always in front of him. Two guys always in front of Mike that no one's going to talk about because we're going to let young fella do his thing, man, let him promote
Starting point is 00:37:22 because we don't care about nothing that ski. He doesn't carey. Who? Kareem number one all time. And then I got five chips, Kareem had. Okay, this dude got six. He got 11 championships and they weren't even giving out. certain awards back then.
Starting point is 00:37:37 So why are we even having a conversation about them? Yeah. I mean, I don't even talk about them. Come on, Mike. You and Larry, y'all try to do some shit. You and magic, y'all try to do some shit. Give us a new braido in the NBA. Cream, six chips, six MPs. Six MVP. Six championships. But only two finals MVP, just for comedy. Come on, man.
Starting point is 00:37:55 You got two? Yeah, and he was never considered a goat. 71 and 85. That's what I'm saying. He was never considered it. 19 All-Stars, 19 Olympia. 98, and then that's why it's 98. 11 all-devil selection. Every year he's going. Almost with Bruce Lee's ass in the game of death, almost.
Starting point is 00:38:15 Came close. Yeah. Closer to them. Almost, almost. And then it became an accolade thing, so. So we will continue to monitor the young situation. In 98, when Jordan got six, one more than magic, that's when he solidified the goal. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:38:31 In 92. 92 playoffs when he was going for his third oh they crowned them they crowned them already so that's why when you retired there wasn't no other goat talk it was just him so before that nobody's ever said who was the never said magic no the word greatest of all the word greatest of all time came from l l l o kujay's wife yeah and then so they put a name to it wait huh l j L L L J L J L J L J L J L J L Js ladies love Kudja yeah she came up with the word goat okay greatest of all time and then that's when people started using it and then that's what they said Jordan was and then gave it right you go there was a well well research man I know that so that's why that's why the Kobe slander happened when he won remember Kobe is three years after when he became a three time for four years in the sense where he became a three time three peter already okay so everybody's talking about oh shit the next person says Mike a shooting guard The next Michael, he already got three.
Starting point is 00:39:34 He's about to have seven or eight. And then that's when Jordan's media, who's still in there a little bit, was shutting that shit down because Jordan just came back to him. That's not hard it is to win a championship. And that's when he got torn. You got three. If you go back, the same media that tour Kobe down, the same media is tearing LeBron down. We got three at the age of 20.
Starting point is 00:39:52 We all just got to get along. All right, but let's keep this thing moving. Another interesting story from that Bucks Pistons game. A tough night for Pitsons Big Man, Isaiah Stewart. Let's take a look at the videos. So third quarter, he got yammed on by Miles Turner. You may recall last season, Beef Stewart told Miles Turner that he plays with Legos.
Starting point is 00:40:12 Oh, yeah. To attempt to clowning. Lego that. Miles Turner got a little bit of revenge for that. Then later in the third quarter, Stewart got into it with Bobby Porters after getting fouled on a shot attempt. Two got in each other's faces. Had to be separated.
Starting point is 00:40:27 Best part right here. from the fist, Stewart threatening bodily harm on the buck ford. He was ejected from the game after picking up his second tech. Amongst choice words that he told Portis, B. Stu allegedly said, you want some. I'll kill you, nigger. He's a little scared of Bobby. I like it.
Starting point is 00:40:50 These are two gentlemen, obviously, who don't want to be trifle with. I respect Bobby Porter's too. I'd be like he had choking to you just died. He's Jamaican. I don't wavering, but Mr. Ben, I know you're watching the game. What was your reaction to that situation? Hey, it's basketball, man. Just entertainment, some content.
Starting point is 00:41:07 Anybody gonna hurt, punch nobody? Whoa. You gotta hit him first. No, just... He didn't want nobody for it. That's why you did. You don't know what to do. That type of, that took me off.
Starting point is 00:41:21 That made me think, I was like, hold on now. He was so mad, he didn't know what to do. He was so mad, he just said. What I'm saying? Ooh, I want to punch you so bad. I'll punch you in your snout, boy. It's entertainment. It's not, come on, man.
Starting point is 00:41:38 I say, nah, this. That's the man. You know how mad you gotta do? You know how mad you gotta be to just do that, though? Mm-hmm. So I'm saying. It was, I want to hit you so hard. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:41:51 And shake your head. Mm-hmm. People doing this lift like that. Mm-hmm. I just want to hit you. But B-Stewool been a vital player in a piston's rotation off the bench this season. Average 10.6 rebounds shoot 53% from the field, 41 from 3. In addition to serving as the mediator for any verbal or physical disputes for the squad.
Starting point is 00:42:08 So I just want to get your guy's opinion. How important is B-stool's role as an enforcer on this bad boy's 2.0 Piston squad? I like it. You know, after that, you seen what he did to the coach? Like, it wouldn't even be in the coach face. I want to just slow him up. Like, you know how? Like, think about that.
Starting point is 00:42:26 How do you dig that to the coach? Like, the coach was holding him back. He was talking to the coach. Like, I just want to fuck him up like that. And you think he's out there for play, play? And the coach's like, yeah, it's okay. Yeah, it's okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:38 But that's like a good communication. No, that's not a good communication. That is. Because normal coaches are scared to even be around some shit like that. He was talking to him while he was acting crazy. Talk him off the left, perhaps. He was off the edge, real? So y'all don't even know the last time he did one of those?
Starting point is 00:42:56 To my? No, no, no. No, no. He was in Phoenix. He wasn't playing. He was his day off. No, no, no, no. He walked in.
Starting point is 00:43:07 Who, Bad Boys 3.0, excuse me. He walked in. No, no, no, that's not bad. That's what the chat said again. I respect our train. No, they're capping. Chonsie Bill of them wasn't bad boys. They played fucking defense.
Starting point is 00:43:19 It wasn't dirt. That wasn't no dirty team. That was a bad. I want to say this business squad is a dirty team. No, me, but that's the level of tough. That wasn't like. bad boys they just played in Detroit it was they was locked downs they didn't close line they didn't do dirty shit but they got into a big fight well that
Starting point is 00:43:34 wasn't yeah but yeah I don't know if you know Bs too yeah or Phoenix Suns he wasn't playing when in and then what they do huh what's the name Bubach was the name who was a white boy yeah no no no somebody else on the bench what who walked in oh he bowed oh he found out It happened months ago. Who? Yeah, because he told him, when we come to town, be ready. eBay, through eBay, eBay, eBay, yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:03 He wasn't ready, knocked his two. Go away. Whatever. Yeah. He came in a lot wrong. It was in a tunnel. Tunnel. You seen him in the tunnel.
Starting point is 00:44:10 Wait for him in the tunnel. By itself. Got that real early. Got to come this way. We both missing this game. Hours before the day. Hours before the game. Hours.
Starting point is 00:44:23 Way near. Just waiting in. Yeah. He said he told him. I told him last time, yeah, I'm okay. And he was a man of his word. Was arrested issued a citation and did release for power. He had prisons.
Starting point is 00:44:34 This is my super pop. He had the prison talking age, so he was the bomb a clot. I told him he wasn't ready. Him got two hands and four eyes. Yes. No way. Not a man to be trifle with. Yes, man.
Starting point is 00:44:49 On his day off. I don't think he wanted him Bobby Porter's, though. Yeah. Porter fights, though. I'll be porous? They both going to be getting down. That's what I'm saying. That was a good one.
Starting point is 00:45:00 That's a good one. Last of a dying breed. That's actually a fight that I look at. I'm like, sure. Yeah. You know, this would be interesting. The gloves on. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:06 Yeah. I don't want to see people get hit like it. Yeah. I grew up in that World Star era. And I didn't like it. I didn't like it. I didn't like World Star video. I didn't get knocked out.
Starting point is 00:45:15 Like Nick Nick, yeah, I ain't like that. I'm just one of those guys. You see, like, everybody still need feet. I want to see, ah, everybody still need feet. when you see somebody just like I'm like that next this thing to kind of find it on the ground Did you enjoy the Kimball
Starting point is 00:45:29 Slice backyard broad? Yeah I can't I can't watch that was crazy that was crazy that was the Kimbo slice Kimbo was cold He was walking let's get it All right I'm out Alright just backyard fades Hey what was that show? Faces of Death
Starting point is 00:45:44 Couldn't watch it Nope what's that What's that? Oh he was a little kid there It was faces of dead it was like I don't know how they let that on YouTube. It was like just people dying. Okay, well that's- Well, you can-staffed, okay.
Starting point is 00:45:57 That's a little different. It's like shock, shock videos. Shock videos back then, like they show, like you see it. Like, person get hit by a train, body split. Oh, that's, yeah. Like a million ways to die, right. Yeah, I was sitting there like, yeah, you know, so I was. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:11 I can't watch the nigga body. Yeah. I mean, watch a nigga get stocked, okay, to see their body explodes kind of limit. But you all are just fighting a train. We're peaceful people. people here at Gills Arena and percent of my underdog woo-woo. But do you respect, I mean, do you respect the role that Beepstoo plays with that squad?
Starting point is 00:46:27 He gets it down on the court backup, Sandra Jalen Durant. Yeah, he has to be, going into his own book. Like right now they're winning it, it helps, right? He's in force or so someone like Cade, even though he can, you know, he defends himself. Like, you don't pick on Cade because there's, there's Beefstoo. And in the Durian, like you have guys that if you try to bully and try to take our guy out, we have dudes that don't play that. Right?
Starting point is 00:46:55 You need that as a star. If you don't have that as a star when you're sitting there and in the playoffs the easy way to take him out is put our pit bull on them. Rough him up. Right? And you know what I mean? Like with Dwayne Wade he had, um, has them.
Starting point is 00:47:11 You close line, Duane Way you hit him, you know if you even thought about driving. Haslam at any point is trying to hurt you. And that was the point. So he, He's perfect for, you know, what they got going on over there. A new dream mom. Did you guys appreciate that when you were in the league,
Starting point is 00:47:26 known somebody was there? For sure. Had your back, let you do what you needed to do. And they were ready. Backjack, for sure. I had stack jack. An honorable man. Getting any problem, call me.

Starting point is 00:47:48 No, no. I had you. No, when I left. No, when I left. You're the type of person that do something in the game. It was after the game. Oh, you fucking with you? All right.
Starting point is 00:47:56 I'll see him after. Go, go. That'd be soft, stop. Oh, man, I got court date, bitch. Oh, I forgot. So, we asked the, man. We asked the chat, do you respect beef stew's roll as an enforcer, 73% of the chat? Say, yes.

Starting point is 00:49:37 Just hours after cutting ties with franchise great Chris Paul The Clippers were back in action Wednesday night To take on the Hawks in Atlanta Before the game, Tile was asked about the decision to part ways with CP3 And had this to say don't have a side I don't like it
Starting point is 00:49:53 it just didn't work out like we thought it would and like I said I don't like it for CP but it just wasn't a good fit you know and we understood that and so like to see it was an organization they made the choice you know and so moving forward
Starting point is 00:50:12 you know we got to see what we do so let's see back to Chris for a second You said it was an organizational decision. Were you part of that decision? Do you agree with the decision? And do you think this will help you? Bring your ass back over here, nigger.
Starting point is 00:50:29 I don't think it necessarily help our team. I mean, I don't think the reason why we're 5 and 16 because of CPs, you know, play. I just think that it wasn't a good fit for what he was looking for. And, you know, it is what it is. And so do I want CCP go out like this? No, I have a lot of respect for him.
Starting point is 00:50:46 He's been a friend of mine over the years. You don't want to see a great go out, you know, like this. You didn't see shit because you was doing shit. But CP3 was active on social media following the move. Let's take a look at what CP3 was doing, if we don't mind. Posting this screen grab on his IG story of a FaceTime with his Lob City Clippers teammates, Blake Griffin and D' Andre Jordan. The trio appeared to be all smiles.
Starting point is 00:51:13 Each of them had their own situations with the Clippers. Oh, that's all that's smile. The Crips. So Clippers went on to get their biggest road win of the season against the Hawks, spoiling outcast night. Shout out to Big Boy who was in attendance. We had a lengthy discussion about the situation yesterday, but more info has come to light from both sides about the messy divorce.
Starting point is 00:51:31 So according to Sam Amick from The Athletic, after weeks of growing tension between Paul and the franchise, President of Basketball Ops Lawrence Frank requested a meeting with CP3 Tuesday night in Atlanta with the team traveling from Miami. Clippers flight was delayed several hours due to mechanical issues on the plane, which delayed the start of the meeting until 11 p.m. local time. Meeting lasted three hours after which the Clippers decided to cut ties, leading to CP3 announcing the split on his IG story at 240 a.m. local time. So from the Clippers vantage point,
Starting point is 00:51:59 they were happy to bring him Paul for his final season, but attempted to manage expectations repeatedly about his role with the team and grew increasingly frustrated, what was described as his locker room lawyering. So according to Chris Haynes, CB3 requested to have a meeting with Ty Lou to discuss allegations of being a negative present on the team, but Lou refused to meet with them with the pair not speaking
Starting point is 00:52:19 for several weeks. So we talked about it yesterday but now with this new information that's come out does the Clippers cutting ties with CP3 say more about them or CP3 we know this team 6 and 16 right now hot bucket of ass had the Kauai tree planting situation to start the season.
Starting point is 00:52:34 He must really say something about Tide Lou says a lot about Chris Paul. Yeah. You think it says a lot about Chris Paul. Why do you feel like it says a lot about Chris Paul? Because this is your retirement. This is your last. year so if you have an opportunity to go out a way that a lot of people don't get
Starting point is 00:52:51 to go out and you know it's like what type of shit are you on this is about you so I don't know what's been what's being said but obviously it didn't get to a lot of people in the locker room I mean you do have James Hardin you do have Kawah Linder top 75 players also future Hall of Famers too so I don't know I'm just trying to figure out this is your last year and you're trying to go out on a high You know, they tried to label Restbrook as a bad guy. He's about to go out better than Chris Fawall. Yeah, maybe just ever so slightly with this.
Starting point is 00:53:24 But, yeah, I'm just trying to figure out, you know, what is the mindset of knowing that this is your last year, and they're about to run out the red carpet for you and get your farewell, and you fuck it off. So Kings 5 and 17 this year, Clippers are 6 and 16. One of the oldest teams in league, I believe the oldest team in the league, I let 33.2 years old entering the season. Had high expectations were expected to compete for the Western Conference potentially go to the finals, obviously not the case. So we talked about this yesterday, shot, about the accountability standpoint. CP3 is the Clippers seem to have known that coming into this,
Starting point is 00:54:00 based on their previous experience with them, try to get managed those expectations, looks not going to be like San Antonio last year where you started all 82 games. You're going to be playing a limited role off the bench. But at the end of the day, CB3 is CP3. So you can't ask him to change who he is with his team, especially with the struggles. that they're having to start this season.
Starting point is 00:54:18 I'm going to pass it to Nick. Go ahead. You pass the phone? Yeah. I'm going to pass the phone to it. We did this already. We did this dance already. For me, CP3, he could.
Starting point is 00:54:35 Well, everybody, it's not Kobe. Everybody don't get a chance to go out like Kobe and Jordan. I think everybody would like to have a farewell tour like they did. Even through losing, Kobe went out there and represented itself on the high note. Last game, 60 points. It's down their last team in the league. You didn't hear no complaints. He enjoyed his last times on the court.
Starting point is 00:55:02 And that's why I feel like when you know you're going out, you say you're retiring. Your team is not going to win a championship anyway. So you arguing every day in the locker room talking about this person. this person trying to get the team going every day I'm supposed to sit back say a little two cents here in there build up the young guys a little bit you know help coach but it's a team full of old niggins though look exactly there's no young there's a few young players on the team but they point guards there's a few young players on the team but they point guards right yeah the cove yeah go talk to them
Starting point is 00:55:41 And then don't talk to me, you know, give them, do their jersey swap every city You know, jersey swap a sign shoes. He had some old CB3s, you know, he had some Jordan shoes, right? Yeah, he was a dormit know Sign those give him give them things away Talk to the fans, you know, but this is the representation of both really the clippers and Clippers organization on dudes not the Lakers you know their players are not like our Laker player you play for both franchises but I'm a Laker okay just pointed that up yeah so that's very telling it shows the character and of both
Starting point is 00:56:23 organizations and the players a good question with you does the clippers cutting ties with CP3 say more about them or CP3 I'm gonna give it to a shot I'm handing hand in this part I'm handing the phone phone next subject shit go to the next one Go to the next topic. But I'm sorry, I know we went out of yesterday, I had a lengthy discussion about it. There was varying opinions. But from my, it's different.
Starting point is 00:56:52 This team is 16 to 6. I didn't give no opinion yesterday. Right. It was just, I was telling the truth. Discussion. Yeah, I wasn't. The fact is, where is he at? That was the fact.
Starting point is 00:57:02 So it was no, my opinion. But understanding that fact, you know, despite the fact, did they come out with more evidence? Both sides came out with evidence. Now, what is the evidence of both sides? It says what? Didn't work out.
Starting point is 00:57:16 They had a three-hour meeting. Okay, now read exactly what they said. It's good to see Chris Paul. Did it sound exactly what I was saying yesterday? Because I talked to both sides. It's good to see Chris Paul and Blake. Yeah, I talked to both sides, so I knew what the problem was. But three-hour meeting, three-hour meeting, so it wasn't like he just walked in like, all right, you're out of here.
Starting point is 00:57:37 Damn, this, they're calling me. She was longer than the Titanic. I'm excited the outlet. The chance that they want me to say something, god damn it, fuck. Because I fuck what you said. And we talked about, obviously, Paul's diminished role, year 21, but this is a future Hall of Famer, one of the greatest point guards in NBA history. So even if he's not performing to the level that he previously has,
Starting point is 00:57:56 isn't somebody you might want to listen to? He's impacted winning in a positive way in every stop he's made throughout his career. Coach nothing. So has Kaua Leonard. So has James Hardin. Yeah. But I'm just saying, Made the playoffs every student.
Starting point is 00:58:12 Kauai's Klipper tenure has been a little bit. Like you're missing why the problem is the problem. There's new owners on this team. There's new players. There's new stars. There's new franchise guys. Right? That is Kauai.
Starting point is 00:58:35 That is James. Those guys are the leaders. of this team, you're coming into this new situation and you're coming in here trying to change the atmosphere, change the rules, whatever, cool. But they're not accepting it. So however you're trying to deliver this to them, they don't wanna hear it.
Starting point is 00:59:07 So at some point, If you don't stand down, those guys are not going to want you in the hen house, no matter what your intentions are. Because one thing you can't do anymore is lead by example. Now, if you're going out there picking up full court, busting your ass, doing all this, then we are forced to listen because you are the man. See, when the top star has that bad attitude, It's because he's going out there front line of the battle.
Starting point is 00:59:45 He is there doing, taking the hits, going against the stars. He's in the middle of the battle with you. Nobody wants to hear an old vet that's sitting from the booth telling you what and not what to do in the manner that a superstar usually talks. Now, for Chris Paul, I can get it because, one, those guys you played with last year don't have a problem with that because they're all young. They're all trying to find their way. So you get to be you direct, orchestrate, put people, this is how it's done. Those guys don't have nothing. They're trying to establish themselves.
Starting point is 01:00:31 So you're Chris Paul. What you do, they're going to accept it because they don't know. any other way. Now you're going to people, one you played with before, he wasn't playing that shit then. Right. Right? He wasn't listening to you then. It was then.
Starting point is 01:00:46 Now you're less contributor than you was before with the same tone. It just didn't go, it didn't play well. And then obviously you want to play shit. You played all 82 yesterday last year and I don't even think he wanted to retire this year. I think the retirement. The retirement came because the writing was on the wall, and he was trying to savor some more time. Because it's him who said this is my last in the middle.
Starting point is 01:01:15 He didn't say this at the beginning when he got. There was a general thought, though, that this was going to be last season. There was no verbiage on it. Now, if he came out here averaging what he did last season with the Spurs, potentially maybe we gave him one more go. You played 82 games last year. Started all 82. He was not planning on retiring this year, right?
Starting point is 01:01:30 So I think. I'm sorry. I don't think I heard from a source that the retirement came because they was on a fritz and he felt that he was going to be let go and he wanted to let the world know this is his last year
Starting point is 01:01:47 and then now they're put on the burner and get rid of it. Well, as they proved, that this is the... And that's why I kept asking yesterday, how bad do you think it had to be? Yeah. If they brunk him in here to finish his career here, he is a great here, he is a Hall of Famer, he is the top five to say, fuck it, we got to let him go. It had to be worse than what we can imagine then.
Starting point is 01:02:19 Lawrence Frank, coming to Atlanta on the road, I think CP3 was supposed to go to the Wake Forest game that Tuesday, meet the team, Wednesday in Atlanta. Lawrence Frank basically said, now bring your ass to Atlanta, we're going to have this meeting. Can you imagine that trip? Atlanta and then Miami, right out of it? So Miami to Atlanta. Wait, wait, wait, wait. They played the heat. They were in Miami.
Starting point is 01:02:37 They were flying to Atlanta the next day. CB3 was going to go to the Wake Forest game. So he stopped him from going to Wake Forest, and he came to town. So he came to Atlanta. Clippers playing got held up in Miami with mechanical issues, got to Atlanta late. They had that meeting at 11 p.m. Local time. Not even in the morning.
Starting point is 01:02:53 Like, let's get to it. Three-hour meeting, I think, for me is me. When they land, ready at the door. Come on. Yeah, come on up in here. Basically, as the way it was explained in the report. Then they have that three-hour meeting. You know, I don't blame either one, like, as a Hooper.
Starting point is 01:03:08 As a Hooper, and you want your legacy to finish how it started. I don't like it for Chris Paul because this is not the way your legacy should be written. This is not supposed to be the end of your career, right? It was supposed to be written better than this, right? there was supposed to be a great ending for a great start and a great ending it was set up right um and the fact that the fact that it ends this way not on your terms um like i just wish that like stand down like another vet should have been in there and like you're hey man let's just just relax man let's just hold off for a minute because they do what if he care
Starting point is 01:04:00 This is a franchise you led to six straight playoffs. How long do you check out? When do you check out of a team? March. When do players check out on a coach or teammates? After all-star break? Yeah, sometime before that. Yeah, something like, right?
Starting point is 01:04:18 Like, I'm tired of hearing your mouth. That's in the middle towards the end of the season, not the beginning. But we've all been in NBA locker rooms and we've had teammates like this. So I don't even know why we sit on this couch acting like we don't. know that like we've always it's always a teammate that we get tired of talking and you just be like man he just got to go bro like we just he come in the room you just you just like oh get the fuck everybody being there laughing yeah and then he come in there like oh god yeah here come this energy we all we are we out we out we out
Starting point is 01:04:48 it's like me so we've all had teammates like 78% have a nigger man here go this nigga again we always welcome here your present fuck man shit come bearing gifts Fuck, you got to go, man. Shit, man. Tired of the shit. A trusted member of the Gills Reader presented by Underdog... Boop, niggins. Who, niggins.
Starting point is 01:05:09 You got to do something about this, man. And they're not even trying to get into all this stuff from yesterday, but I see both sides of it. Team is ass right now. You got a future Hall of Famer, led this team six straight playoffs. I'm trying to... But I'm trying to talk to you, Ty Lou. And you're not fucking with me?
Starting point is 01:05:24 You're not going to meet with me? No. You're Ty Lou. You got stepped over by AI. What I'm saying is you keep saying... The record now. Now is they're done with it now, which means this started day one. Like you're saying the record now like he's complaining today,
Starting point is 01:05:41 and all of a sudden three games, oh, no, we can't take you. No, that means it's 20 games? That means game one when he didn't play that many. He probably started a training camp looking at he wasn't in the road team. So then why bring him in? If you know who CP3 is, why bring him in anywhere? They got into it before that. Who?
Starting point is 01:06:01 Yeah, of course. Training game. We want to give you a nice ending. We want to give you a nice ending. But you're the Clippers. It's set up for you. There's not a good thing. We want to make sure you go out the right way.
Starting point is 01:06:12 Paul Pierce? Yes, sir. There were two other point guards that played for the Clippers. One name was John Wall. One name was Russell Westbrook. I think their fates were similar. I think they say, I think they shared similar fates where I think Russell Westbrook actually is like, do I need to wear my top 75 jacket in here to remind this nigger that I'm not supposed to be playing behind, okay, I just, it's amnesia sometimes, we forget. And Tyloo said Westwood was the leader.
Starting point is 01:06:49 It was the first time they really had a leader in their locker. We keep back in like Tylo, he was talking to the team and they were responding. And I'm just, you said they were responding? Maybe they're not. Maybe not. No, I'm saying? If you're not? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:07:03 I think you were just never having a conversation about. The first time we had a real leader in the- Russell Westbrook being the leader of the team. I remember having a vivid conversation about that. And then, you know, John Waugh was there and Boogie Cousins was there. And I think Boogie Cousins actually said something from his own testimony of being a guy that went through some T. T. Lou didn't want to talk to me and felt like some bull.
Starting point is 01:07:25 And he did the same thing with John Wall and felt like some bullshit and did the same shit with Russ He felt like some bullshit and he's seeing it with CP and he's like this feel like some bullshit I thought he said something about rest though. No he said Russ was a leader here Yeah, the first time we had a leader in this in this they also walk into an NBA championship coach too But ain't the that's quarter of the banana boat too though like don't he had out high Lou on the LeBron and I think they all close friends so for you not they want to even talk to somebody Like, how far, what happened? Exactly.
Starting point is 01:07:58 Exactly. You know what happened. You can't put it on. And that means it makes worse. You already see examples of guys who's coming in here. Talking. Crazy. If we're six and five, 16 and five, is CP getting shipped off?
Starting point is 01:08:13 Yes. No, because we're winning and he ain't saying shit. He's, he said it in training camp. We're not saying shit. If we're 16, 5, we win, and everything is smooth sailing because we're supposed to be winning. What is the record? in training camp zero and zero did he get sent home in training camp no they were no so say no now now what's their record now six and six okay their record now how long as he's he not losing
Starting point is 01:08:38 they said a couple weeks they didn't give it specific they don't know how many weeks so let's go back to the record a couple of weeks it was still ask you I don't do that why they just they can argue them in five five straight dmps if I'm not mistaken Yes, they didn't peeed them back then. They didn't want to him. They didn't want him to play then. Right? This was a thing.
Starting point is 01:09:01 I, I personally, talk to two people. That's in the locker room? That's in the locker room. All right, but there it is. That's why. I talk to the standings. I talk to the record. I talked to the comments.
Starting point is 01:09:14 Six. Yeah, you're talking to the comments. Yeah, yeah, I get it. Yeah, he don't talk to the people that's in the locker room. I'm talking to the locker room. I'm talking to what I heard. You heard what you heard from? I take from what's being.
Starting point is 01:09:25 released yeah and I say okay listen this is what it looks like for me that's what we're on here to give our our perspectives okay perspective I give that what's coming out of the locker room what the what was going on in a locker room that's where I was coming from and then they came out publicly and there you go in their own words who the locker room's words Lori Frank Tyler oh the city what what did it sound did it sound like Was Tyloo? So it was the Tyloo thing.
Starting point is 01:09:58 We heard what Tyloo said with Lord Frank. Tyloo said he didn't know nothing about it. It was an organization that said and they were asked. You're going to play it back. You're going to play it back. Don't laugh. It's not a laughing matter. Let's play it back.
Starting point is 01:10:12 He said he don't know what's going on. Don't have a side. You know, I don't like it. You know, it just didn't work out like we thought it would. Paul. I don't like it for CP. It didn't. And it didn't work out like it's supposed to, right?
Starting point is 01:10:27 Like we thought it would. Okay, keep going. Where is the locker room at? I'm just wanting a good fit, you know. It just wasn't a good fit. What wasn't a good fit? Him being around. Okay, it wasn't a good fit.
Starting point is 01:10:40 Like him in the, but I don't know. In the offense? Let's go again. Why we acting like we don't, we ain't ever been around. Let's go. Let's go. Let's stop. Like, see, it was an organization, you know, they made the choice.
Starting point is 01:10:55 you know and so moving forward you know we got to see what we do so you know we'll see are you any pause right there the organization made the organization it was an organization they made you in the organization no not me not me I'm not in the locker room
Starting point is 01:11:12 I'm not one of the sources in the locker room all right but continue please for me back to Chris for a second you said it was an organizational decision were you part of that decision do you agree with decision and do you think this will help your team moving forward I don't think it necessarily help our team I mean I don't think the reason why we're 5 and 16 because of CPs you know play I just think that it wasn't a good fit
Starting point is 01:11:39 for what he was looking for and you know it is what it is and so I do I want to see CCP go out like this no I have a lot respect for him he's been a friend of mine over the years and you didn't want to see a great go out you know like this so he didn't actually acknowledge that part of the question. So you hear like, we, we wasn't, what he was expecting, we didn't have nothing to kid. But the problem is, doesn't make sense, right?
Starting point is 01:12:11 They acknowledging who he is and they didn't want to see him go out like this. Right, so that means he went in there on some. So that means it was worse than what you think. Or we ain't heard shit from CP, we don't know how bad it was. So I heard of people who's... We didn't hear from CP. I don't need to...
Starting point is 01:12:29 C.P. God. Yeah, we do. Yeah, we do. You may not... You may not. The people... Listen, at the end of the day,
Starting point is 01:12:37 whatever he comes out with, it don't matter. He's got sent home. There's two sides. There's two sides. Yeah. There's the people... Why are you not talking to me, Tailu? Tailu, you tell them why you're not talking to me?
Starting point is 01:12:47 And I tell them why I think you're not talking to me. Okay, we got... So we have the people who's being talked to, then we have the talker. So we want to hear from the talker. I want to ask the people who got to listen to it, how do you all feel? Of course it. Hey, hey, Nick, I want to talk to people he's talking to. Was he talking gentle to you, niggins to you niggins or now?
Starting point is 01:13:12 Was he not talking gentle? Hey, so what was CP saying, man? I don't want to listen to listen to what I can say. Hey, Tina, how do those people? I wouldn't listen to what Peter got to say. I don't need to listen to hike. That's crazy. I was going to say, anybody, eat the cake.
Starting point is 01:13:31 I'm pretty sure to eat the cake. So when he said, he said, eat the cake. What you're full? What's your hungry? I'm just finished eating. I wasn't hungry no more. What kind of cake was it? Woo.
Starting point is 01:13:44 Hey, I'm just saying. Don't even ask, don't do it again. You don't want to do that. Yeah, but we all, we all have up with people. like that though. Were they future holiday? No, no, it's, uh-huh. Were they a part of successful commercial campaigns with State Farm, the fictitious twin brother,
Starting point is 01:14:02 no, just a, I know this made me, this is it again, where they who, future all the top five? This made me think of something else. Do you think? Like, OKC, so bring like Russ back just for like a farewell tour, no? Not the play and mess up the, but like just the. See, that? Now you're asking the same question. Like, I was thinking about that. I'm bringing you back. And they can possibly win a championship and he can win a ring.
Starting point is 01:14:25 But what I'm saying is, I'm bringing you back thinking you're going to just ride with him. Just chill out. Sometimes you're trying to play. Come back like Alan Iverson. It's no different. Why do you think Alan Iverson average 14 his last year? He still had more. But he wasn't coming off nobody bench.
Starting point is 01:14:42 So everybody's looking at him like, yeah. Well, Westbrook, I think it's something to go off. No, but no, but what I'm saying is, West Heron. Some people can't turn off the engine. Right? Yeah. Some people just can't sit there. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:56 Yeah. You heard them, they want me to come off the bench, Paul. Yeah. No, no, no, but go ahead. Like how Paul Pierce? Like how Paul gets is? No, that's real. Most greats don't, they don't, they can't do that.
Starting point is 01:15:06 Right? So that does, that does affect the locker room if this great still believes that his, he's there and he's going to talk to people like he's there. And it just doesn't, it clashes. And it's just a clash, and that's just how it is. Like for you to have that stance, you have to be original, the originator there. You can't come to teams doing that. If you there and those players is coming to you, then you're making the rules.
Starting point is 01:15:37 Like Haslam, when Jimmy came there, Haslam is, I've been here the whole time, so you are going to listen to me. Right, right, right. That's easier. Now, if Haslam came from where he came and then tried to do that to Jimmy, that's not happening. If he came back, he went somewhere else and he came back. Yeah, it's not happening. I am heat coach. I get it.
Starting point is 01:15:55 All right, well, let's keep this thing moving. A lot more things to discuss. Today's podcast is sponsored by Roe. Women find confident sexy and they can sense it. Starting point is 01:17:19 Do you want to play basketball hard? No, dog. But if you are hard, they're not going to guard you. Right? Open shot. That's one of the worst promotion. Open shot. Feel a little poke coming through on you.
Starting point is 01:17:34 Open shot. Back up. That's one of the worst. Kid buckets in Roe. Kid Bucket's real. Roe will make it grow. They still have not embraced my slogan for the company, but we are working on it.
Starting point is 01:17:48 dropping. Roe will make it grow. It's easy. Simple effective. It rhymes. All right, you know whatever I get y'all get. All right. We are our family here at Gills Arena presented by underdog.
Starting point is 01:17:58 Whoa, whoa, whoa. Goat debate, one of the most polarizing in basketball with fans of their favorite players reluctant to shift that stance. So we made some progress recently here on Gills Arena presented by underdog whoop. With swaggy switching his allegiance and admitting LeBron is a ghostwagon, we have to take. I can't take it back. No, no. You said, you said, LeBron is my goat and savior. No, no.
Starting point is 01:18:17 During a recent episode. of his timeout show on the Y network, Dwayne Wade offered his perspective on who he considers the goat. LeBron Jordan debate. Well, I just, how I'm going to start defining it. Okay. So I'm speaking about it at all,
Starting point is 01:18:30 Michael Jordan is my basketball goat. Right. Mine personally. Of course. For all the reasons that he should be. But I do have a new answer of the way I'm going to start to answer this question. When people ask me, I'm going to say
Starting point is 01:18:41 Michael Jordan is the greatest player I've ever watched. He is the greatest player I have I've ever watched. Okay. LeBron James is the greatest player I've ever seen. Ooh. I thought, bro, I saw what you just did right there.
Starting point is 01:18:58 You feel like me? I felt that. I never saw Michael Jordan. Watch Michael Jordan. Yeah. Saw and I've seen LeBron James up close. Up close. I played against and I played with.
Starting point is 01:19:08 I've never seen, I personally, I've not seen a greater basketball player. But I've watched a great basketball player. That makes sense. I mean, it makes perfect. So understand Dee Wayne saying Jordan is the greatest player he's watched, but LeBron is the greatest player he's seen. Start with you, Mr. B., you said it makes sense.
Starting point is 01:19:30 Yeah, it makes sense. I mean, because he's watching somebody on TV. He's with LeBron James every day, like in practice, winning championships. Like he's going through the battle with this guy. So I definitely understand what he's saying. I mean, that's how I feel when they talk about Michael Jordan and Kobe Ryan. Like I watched, but I got to see Kobe Ryan. see Kobe Ryan. Like I got to play against Kobe Bryant. I got to be on the same court.
Starting point is 01:19:51 So it's just a different feeling of it all. That's why it's so, when you talk about who's the best or who's the greatest and this and that, it's, you know, it's all, it's all about feeling to me. It's all about what I can see and what I can really feel. Let's shift over a shot. I see you. Birmingham Barron's jersey, none other than Michael George, struggled with the breaking ball, but was able to still do some work during his time in the minor leagues. He could catch the ball in the field, though. What he could do?
Starting point is 01:20:18 He was on the breaking ball machine happy. He was a reliable field dick. But you understand what D-Way is saying? No. No. What the fuck is D-Way talking about? Should have had Stevie Wonder up there talking about, man, I can see it. But I can watch it too.
Starting point is 01:20:41 I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about. See it? Believe it. Watch it. You're talking about my niggins. Just say who you think is the best, bro. Your best friend or a nigger you watch when you was in Chicago. Don't matter to me, man. It's your opinion. Cool. Great. I don't got nothing else to say about the shit, man. Let's shift over to Swaggy. Um, you know, uh, well, I got to hang out with D-Ways. His kids and my kids kind of play together, so
Starting point is 01:21:17 whatever he's saying was legit it was really good kids have a play day yeah he's seen not the old not the youngest one it's the young one he was seen your daughter's where you go no the youngest one the daughters no stop let's just leave it alone we're not going there okay this is the younger is carry on okay carry on you got it I get what he's saying, because it's just like the work. Like when I watched her on TV, rapping this shit, but when I seen her, it was different. So I get it.
Starting point is 01:22:00 When I seen her, it's the same work, the same work that you watched? Yeah. But then you saw, okay. Then you see it up close, it ain't, you know. Sometimes everything, they would, I'm confused myself, so yeah, just go here. Sometimes you can be.
Starting point is 01:22:18 Yo, so what do you think about when you play, yo, what do you think about when you play with Kobe? Kobe's the best player. He was with Kobe's game, to me. But was Michael better before that, before you played with Kobe? No, Kobe has always been my goat since I was, like, I always hate the fact that nobody could be better than Michael, Michael Jordan. Okay.
Starting point is 01:22:39 So, like, every time I say that, somebody think I'm crazy. But just watching LeBron and what he does, it's hard not to put him as the goat because he's doing shit that still doing shit that none of our players, my favorite players done. And my man, at some point, you just got to, you just got to give it to the man and put feelings to the side. Very astute assessment. It's a good place.
Starting point is 01:23:17 Now I'm just getting a guilt. Do I understand what he was saying? Yes, I understand what he was saying. It's called being safe. It's a safe answer now. Because he's saying, one, his goat is Michael Jordan, just like most of everybody who was born in the 80s and 90s. Michael Jordan because we seen Michael Jordan we watched them on TV right we
Starting point is 01:23:50 watched them we can't none of us can physically say we played with him so he's saying that as a fan this is my goat Michael Jordan from a kid living in Chicago he's number one as a basketball player playing in the NBA competing with someone, he is my competition goat. Like, as a NBA player who I played with, seeing with my own eyes, practice with, he's my goat. So he's basically saying, I don't want to compare the two because it's not fair. So instead of having either side go at me, I'm just going to be safe and say they're
Starting point is 01:24:39 both my goat, one I watched on TV, when I played against and with, and had to compete with, and win gold medal with, like, lose championships with. It's like most people who, if Michael Jordan is your goat, none of us can really say we played with him.
Starting point is 01:24:57 You did play against him. I played against him, but, you know what I mean? That's not the Michael Jordan that feared everybody. How did you feel, though, going against a player you'd seen play so great? Whooping the goat's ass. How did you feel about that? I'm whipping the goat's ass. I'm go. I got the best of the gold. I'm the gold. Obviously, you know, we're going to, you know what mean? So only people who can who can make that real claim is basically somebody like Kevin
Starting point is 01:25:22 Garnett, Shaquille O'Neal, right? You know, they played with, you know, all of them who were considered, right? So I got to listen to people who went into that lion's den. They wrestled with these three tigers, right? You know, that's the only way, you know, you get real answers. For the most of us we watched one we played with the other or played against the other so I mean I like his answer because it's just it's safer you don't have to pick
Starting point is 01:25:49 a side you don't have to go 1A 1B like one one is watched on TV these are my go to I watched these are my go to play I played with it's that I actually saw that's how it is but I feel like that's how it is with everybody from the older generation too
Starting point is 01:26:05 like you know like it's just I've seen this but yeah I don't know. There's all the pain on how you do that. You're giving me a D-waiter phone call? No. He answered it safe. Nah, what you mean?
Starting point is 01:26:21 He's from Chicago. I mean, how many basketball players that grew up in Chicago don't have Michael Jordan as they're going. Second is goddamn D. Rose. No, remember this. Yeah. Remember this? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:35 Remember this? Because the last time I said some shit, you called me. cussing me to fuck out about Steph Curry when they said, you were in Steph Curry. Remember that? Yeah, I was offended. Yeah. So, it was safe. But, motherfucker, remember that? I had to be safe. Remember that?
Starting point is 01:26:51 Because I got to go back then. But you didn't say, you didn't put us in two years. You got to, he gave him his number one and his number one. That was just he opened up a categor. Right? Like, you're going to say, Seth is the best overall.
Starting point is 01:27:07 You know, I'll bust that a nigga. That's how you feel. That's how you feel. That's how you feel. But as I said, like, this would have been, what D-Wa did? Steph is the number one. Okay. Career.
Starting point is 01:27:20 Yeah, that's what, yeah, yeah, that's. By 25, Gilbert's number one. You see what I mean? I still get my number one. That's what I said. That's what I said. He opened up. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:27:31 This is my favorite girlfriend. This is my favorite wife. See? Got to be small. Gotta be smart, yeah. They might have still been like, am I the number one? Yeah. My number one might.
Starting point is 01:27:49 Only had one. I enjoy how it always comes back to the work here. It was a re-interpreted by a underdog woo-woo. But let's keep this thing moving. Lakers are back in action night in Toronto to take on the Raptors, but we got to talk about a situation that went down during their loss of the Suns Monday. LeBron was in danger of snapping his double-jidded scoring streak during the Lakers' loss of the Suns, but overcame the odds to keep the streak alive.
Starting point is 01:28:09 Let's take a look if we can very quickly. So about seven minutes left to go in the fourth quarter, Lakers down 25. Bron knocked down a clutch three-pointer to reach double digits, finished with 10 points on 3 of 8 shooting to extend his record to 1,297 games. J.J. Reddick left LeBron in the game, despite the Lakers facing that huge deficit.
Starting point is 01:28:29 Should be noted, other starters were in the game as well. So really quickly, just want to ask you all any issue with J.J. Reddick leaving LeBron in the game to keep his double-digis scoring streak alive. No, he said he's going through training camp right now. But to get as many reps as you can. For that? Huh?
Starting point is 01:28:44 Swaggy, it can't be inferred. No. If other starters was in there too. Swaggy. He said he'd going through training camp. He got to get his reps up. He's going through training camp right now. I'm going to take us down, 25?
Starting point is 01:28:55 At that point, 25. About seven minutes to go. He'd take him out at like five minutes, you know? He ain't have a training camp. He didn't have a training camp. It. Uh-uh. okay I got no I don't mind because obviously that's a record yeah right so I'm gonna if I'm
Starting point is 01:29:16 coaching or if I'm a player and I'm there like if I had zero then you know we okay but you know I'm only two points three points away you know hey one four for you know I mean it's I'm you know let me get my team keep my little record going um and the fact that the other team still had their starters in all the way damn there to the end you know it's like right Because legs in the right flag. It's not news. Like, why is it a big deal? Yeah, but why is it a big deal
Starting point is 01:29:45 that he was in the game? The internet seemed to have a problem, said he was stab padding his way to 10 points. Yeah. Or LePron hate. Well, we waited a few days to it. Hey, yo, this dude can't do nothing. The floor is your, sir.
Starting point is 01:29:59 Well, I mean, I like it. Like he said, it's a record, you know? You think about it, you got nine, three-pointed. and the record is 10 and the coach pull you that's the worst coach pulled you right before not giving the fuck about the record but you want you want to hit the record coach wants you to hit you want you to hit the record keep the record that's the worst that's not hey keep the record we heard Lexie let me
Starting point is 01:30:30 let's say she needed four four points four thousand and the coach never let it get Did not let her get her four-pointed. Like, oh, okay, okay, I see, I see, I know you, you know I got the, you know I'm close to it because it's on a brochure. Yeah, my coach did that. Yeah, my co- did that. Yeah, my co- did that. Okay.
Starting point is 01:30:50 But even 18, last game, took me out at the half, didn't play or someone. That's why I was that 17, like, 0.8. I was trying to get it to even. Wow. How many points did you need to get it to that 18 points per game? So I gave you to record. Wait, what? You need a 20, probably.
Starting point is 01:31:05 Yeah. My coach did that to me okay I had 63 took me out with five minutes left I think the main the main problem 61 I think the main problem with with the brown thing is he could have got the 10 points in the game he could have got that time I think it was more how it looked it was looking very shaky y'all up 20 you ain't got 10 points yet we're looking at you as you Brian you're supposed to bend and had 10 this should be on your 20 point street type shit so LeBron just working in the flow of the Lakers offense.
Starting point is 01:31:37 We also showed that video earlier in the week of JJ Reddick screaming at him trying to get his attention as he was talking to the son's bench. LeBron appeared to ignore his head coach forcing Reddick to call time. The question is, would it look worse if he was chasing that record and it was down 20?
Starting point is 01:31:53 They were down 20. They were up? No, we was down. We was down 20. They won that? We lost that game against the Sun. We got smacked. So you were aware that the
Starting point is 01:32:05 You didn't see the score? I thought they was up. Oh. Oh. So that made it worse that he was over there in the corner and shit. Yeah, no. That's why I'm laughing that you were good. Like, dog, that ain't.
Starting point is 01:32:15 That's why I was shocked you. Yeah. That's what you did. Yeah. That's what I'm like, huh? That's a record. It's a record. No, no.
Starting point is 01:32:24 It's a record. Right. It's a record, right? Records are a record. It's a record. But everybody in stars is out there, though. Yeah. Just I see Austin was out there.
Starting point is 01:32:34 No, no. seems to have this, because there was records going on on that side, too. Yeah, it's a record. It's the Braille. Yeah, Wusson and got a career high. Yeah, Wusson and got a surrog. Did what's him get hit, Dylan? He got close, but left Dylan.
Starting point is 01:32:46 He only needed four points. That's why he was still in, because he was trying to get his record. You may recall Brony, locked him up, LeBron on the bench, game. And he was trying to get his career high. At what year of these expectations, like the expectations off of LeBron? Like, when were they? When a new retired?
Starting point is 01:33:01 Like, year 27, I think, would be. Like, when do you stop? When he's gone. Yeah, I'm about to say, yeah, I was going to say that. Like, I've never seen somebody. I've never seen an athlete. Never. Never.
Starting point is 01:33:15 Like, damn, again, shit. I'm never. Say some points for everybody else. From the Brian mindset. Like, when I was at the gym, they were like, Nick, do that shit you used to do. I'm like, man, I can't do that shit no more. So when does that kick in? Everybody expect Brian to go out there and get fit.
Starting point is 01:33:35 That's so much pressure every night. Listen, if he would have left 2020, everybody ever like, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. At the league, the league shit, yeah. They did that shit you did on the wars. I said, man. God, break.
Starting point is 01:33:48 I see somebody was like, yeah, I think you can go out there and give it like 15 minutes. Yeah, yeah, I'd be saying that too. No, I'm like, all right, man, I'm going to be wrong. I make you put your foot. Yeah, have you seen me walk back and forth? Like, god damn. You'd be trying your best. shit
Starting point is 01:34:05 when would that happen though like when he has the record already he's just extending it he's just extending the street just that's gonna one whippersnappers like 500 more games than Jordan wants to try to get it through
Starting point is 01:34:21 wait wait wait what is so he not gonna break no record he didn't already broke the record 1,297 straight games with double digit I think MJ's the next close is like 73080 no no he got to You know why? Because there's another kid out there that's about to be at 100, but he's on a 21.
Starting point is 01:34:44 When is he not going to have 10? Shea. Oh, wait, wait, wait. Remember, like, Shay's on 20 in a row for damn, they're almost 100 games. Yeah. We don't know how many 10 in the rows he's at. Yeah. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:35:02 Yeah. So he is the one that's going to be close enough to catch him. At some point, he keeps, you know what I mean? So JJ left him in the game? Wait, wait. So break the, this is, well, he didn't leave him in the game. He didn't leave him in the game, but soon as he hit it, he got subbed out. This is a streak or?
Starting point is 01:35:22 Yeah, it's a streak. What about it's sciatica? No, no, no, no. Diatic, I need my record. He got the record by 500. He already got the record by 500. But 600 sounds better than 500. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:35:33 Nah, that's crazy. He's a little. He pushed the streak. He's pushing them shit. He's just gotta let it go. Oh, man. You gotta keep on. You gotta get the pressure.
Starting point is 01:35:44 No. Let the pressure. No. It's already said he can't pass much. What was Miles Turner? He missed the game, right? Did he have a record for? No, no, not.
Starting point is 01:35:54 No, no. Mackell Bridgers? Yeah, Macal Bridges. Yeah, Macal Bridges. Yeah. You do, damn. Three beggars was on his way, too. You.
Starting point is 01:36:02 Not missing the game. Like that was the streak, right? Yeah. And he finally, like, broke. Snapped it. Yeah. Did he snap his streak? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:36:10 He's still going. What? They subbed them in. Just aren't going, come out. But that's not a big deal. That's not a big deal? That's not. That was Brian.
Starting point is 01:36:20 Oh, no, it feels like. Yeah. Yeah, they were hoping you a second. Yeah, they would have did that. No, sub them in. Yeah. You hired, you, Ron hired JJ. So he's going to do what he say.
Starting point is 01:36:30 do what he say. Apparently. So I'm not surprised by the shit. I'm just like, I thought it was different. I'm fucked up all the way around like, yo, wait a minute. So they was down 20. Luca might have hired 25. But JJ's-
Starting point is 01:36:43 25, and then you're not breaking a record. You're extending one that's already 500 in front. Yeah, that's a different type of. It was only one extra minute. But the others, you got, if Phoenix Sons put their rookies in, or their bench, but the whole starting five was still out there, out there because they were trying like Mr. Simmerton was trying to get his points and then the other kid was trying to extend his you can't have that
Starting point is 01:37:07 streak snapped by Dylan Brooks oh no no the amount of bare poking that would have for the end of eternity I was nobody even thinking that yeah that's he was nobody even thinking that I snapped bronze street you think you held that Dylan Brooks is thinking that that would have been on his mantle the head on the mantel chopped it off I stopped the street this your key Really? For real. What?
Starting point is 01:37:32 That's the last person you won, stopping your streak. Yeah. Nah. That's nasty. Guiltive, Jay, I don't know. But he's done that the whole time. Like when Luca needed 50, he do leave him in. Yeah, he leaves you in.
Starting point is 01:37:44 He lets him try. I think A. You know, he came closer. I mean, Jay's a scorer, so. You know, he's a shooter, so he can. He was a player of coach, too, so. He was, former co-hosts in mind the game podcast. You know that, yeah.
Starting point is 01:37:55 You know that feeling. All those stats and shit really matter at the end of the day. matter at the end of the day when you're trying to be at the end you know what at the end the day oh you're in real time you don't think about it because even Kevin Durant did you hear Kevin Durant comment getting the 31,000 points he was like wait what he said I only need eight points fuck I could have got that tonight because he didn't know he was that close he would have just broke it right then seems like he will eventually surpassed yeah and that's it but he basically I would have broken right you got to fire somebody
Starting point is 01:38:22 at the boardroom I would have broken right yeah they got your teammates you know you know we be over there like you need eight more yeah yeah I'm about They got a guy. They didn't let it know. Motherfooks being there. Yeah, sacrificed that night. You know what's so funny? He sacrificed that night.
Starting point is 01:38:35 Was there, when David Robinson broke the record, when they fed him the ball to beat Shaq, you remember, Shaq set out, and David Robertson needed, like, 60-something? Yeah, 70-something against the Clippers. And he just kept feeding him so he can beat Shaq for the scoring title. So he needed like 70-some points, and the team went into it, like, we're going to get it. So they just, just feeding him. Feed him. He was playing what?
Starting point is 01:38:58 Right? Yep, it needs 71 points. Yeah, yeah. Oh, my God. Shout that Pischack off. I mean, when Steve Nash needed, look, four or five assists, and everybody kept trying to get that on the Lakers? That was fun.
Starting point is 01:39:11 So who told LeBron that he only had like eight points? Like, who notified? That scoreboard? Well, Sean, as you know, as a former Hooper, you were always keeping it. No. No. No. Was it 10?
Starting point is 01:39:21 It wasn't him? It couldn't have been him. It couldn't have been him. He only had 10. had 10. So the nigger no, I ain't score that goddamn much. He normally had seven. Three free throws in the three. You're only having your points when you're in the game. When you only got like six, I don't have like six points?
Starting point is 01:39:40 Yeah, I'm going to shoot this, motherfucker. So do you guys just keep track how many points you had in the game? Or was there a point where you were to stop? When you in there, you know, when you started scoring quick, he'd be like, damn, wait. That's what I'm saying. He could have had that 10 way earlier for you to wait to the wolf and be like eight points. And I'm like, damn, I only got eight. What you do on the Warriors?
Starting point is 01:39:57 That's that shit right there. But I had 10 early. This nigga old now, man. Yeah, so let that shit be eight and let us go drink some wine. No, you don't got a hate tonight. Hey, when you ever see a player do this running back on defense, and he look up, he's looking at how much I got. For sure.
Starting point is 01:40:16 For sure. For sure. Okay. And ain't a nothing. You be looking at like, damn, I got, that the nica got 38 on me. Oh my God. Even when they're trying to look at the. replay for the file.
Starting point is 01:40:28 You're not looking at the replay. No, you'd be checking everything up there. Yeah, like, especially you're like, hey, a file, wherever you're looking at you're looking at your own thing. Listen, you don't count the person who you garden until you see a number you wasn't expecting. You were like, he got 30A already? Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:40:44 Switch! That's how Martin used to be. What's it doing this shit like that? Yeah, yeah. Bucket get her. All right. Let's keep this thing moving. We got some bad news for Zion Williamson, Pelican star,
Starting point is 01:40:56 sideline yet again this time with a grade two right hip adductor strain. So according to the team, Zion will be re-evaluated in three weeks. Second extended stretch of missed games for him this season after missing eight straight games with a hamstring strain. Zion has now played in just 224 out of a possible 494 games since being taken with the number one overall pick in the 2019 draft. So to add insult to Zion's injury, Pelicans currently have the worst record in the National Basketball Association with the Hawks owning their 2026 first round pick as a result of a draft day trade for Derrick Queen this summer. Zion average 22.6 rebounds in 10 games this season, but according to reports, the
Starting point is 01:41:34 Pelicans are now listening to Trade offers with a two-time All-Star. Seems like a discussion we've had many times here in Gills Reader presented by Underdard Woo-Woo. That was a sad Woo-Woo. Time for the Pelicans to move on from Zion. Yeah, it's been time. Yeah, I think they, uh, they got two new. Two new studs over there where they're like, you know, we got fears and we got queen.
Starting point is 01:42:01 Yeah, queen. And we need to go in a different direction. We can't put all of our resources focal around Zion anymore if he can't be healthy. I mean, obviously you would love for him to be a part of this nice little trio we could have, you know, with, you know, at the four or five. but, you know, he just can't stay healthy. So if you can get something back for him that can add to your roster to help them to, you know, build on their confidence and build their game,
Starting point is 01:42:35 then you got to, you got to make that. I mean, this is the time, too, because you've got two guys that are future stars, both of them. So, Zion in the third year of the $597 million extension signed back in 2022. Obviously, he has a bunch of weight clauses on it and other things where they don't have to give them all his bread, They don't look like he's They don't
Starting point is 01:42:56 I mean it doesn't look like he was Performance based I think way yeah I don't think he's been Breaking not now I'm just saying But they have ways to protect some You're gonna be how long Wait He had a weight call
Starting point is 01:43:07 I'll be hitting He had a weight call Yeah According to reports You better hit that Benchmarks he had to meet I think for weight body fat But also I think games played too
Starting point is 01:43:17 From season to season We gave him the option To avoid the contract Yeah Damn Yeah, it's time to get traded. Damn, wake-off. It's hard.
Starting point is 01:43:29 We can't even, we can't even, even defend them in a sense. Ah, damn. You gotta get out of you. Just since you see the other two, like, ah, yeah. They send them to the clippers. Oh, you need to go somewhere. That's probably be.
Starting point is 01:43:42 That's what... Let's bring all the motherfuckers that's always hurt. Put them on the clippers or... That kind of clip was like, let people disqualify. Let people disappear. Who do you move them for? And that becomes a question. Who would you want to risk a powerful?
Starting point is 01:44:00 How tall is queen? About 6. 10? Yeah. Would you go? He'd be playing a 5 or 4? Zion and Herb Jones with fears for Jaron Jackson and John Moran. Wait, wait, you're trading fears already?
Starting point is 01:44:16 No. Because you're bringing in the point guard. Oh. Bringing in. No, not a guy, though. John, Jaron Jackson. Now your teammate, wait, how old is the rest of the team? I can't go.
Starting point is 01:44:27 Got Herb, Herb Fears and Zion going to Memphis with Ziti, with Zach Edie. And then you bring Jai, Jaron Jackson, and you got Queen, you got Alvarado still there, backing up. It's a whole new look for both sides. But that's just the least, I'm talking about, you're looking at two asses. that are trouble assets that they need, they both sides want to get off. I don't want to trade for one.
Starting point is 01:44:56 Yeah. They both want to trade my fucked-up car for your fucking. Yeah, that's what they're. Ain't that the conversation they're having is about Trey Young, John Morant, and Lamello Ball. All saying that they're all negative. All getting rid of switching, just switching teams with each other. Like y'all, y'all take him, we'll take him, we'll take him.
Starting point is 01:45:16 So, Jai, I mean, you throw Zion in the mix with that, and you say, well, shit, this throws Zion in there. in there. I'm trying to get a scenario to send him to the bulls that don't make no sense right now because they don't got money. But John Memphis. Well,
Starting point is 01:45:31 well, Zion's gonna be tricky because they can void his contract. Oh, yeah. Right? So, get him for the cheat. Miami? What about Miami?
Starting point is 01:45:46 Wait, wait, wait. Send him to Miami? Wait, wait. No, how does that contract work? Exactly. Yeah. So I'm reading a pelican void the non-guaranteed portions of Zion's contract after the 24-25 season, which were done because you triggered a clause by missing too many games.
Starting point is 01:46:02 Okay. So they don't have to pay them now. The final three years of his contract were already made non-guaranteed starting this season due to this very to meet a games play threshold in the 22, 23 season. So it's not guaranteed, so what is this nigga playing on? Right. They're still paying them, but they can at any point be like, ooh. They can take it off, done?
Starting point is 01:46:19 Naga cut it. So they're not going to do that To get their bread basically But get their bread But they're not going to do that So they're going to trade them Now when he gets traded That's still in the works
Starting point is 01:46:31 Yeah That contract? Yeah And they cut them and resign them Yeah that's what I'm about saying Can somebody cut them? Yeah but they can cut them and re-sign them But they have to wait a year right
Starting point is 01:46:41 If you cut them though Why am I going to re-sign return? Yeah I'm talking about somebody We're saving money No the leg is going to pay for money No what I'm saying I mean I don't think they're going to do this, but the problem, I mean, it's going to be somebody who's looking
Starting point is 01:46:55 to save money. So it'd be, okay, so whoever wants to dump money, that's who's going to trade for him. So basically, they'll trade there, let's say $40 million worth of players, boom. When he gets there, cut him. So they get rid of $40 million. They clean the book. And then he'll just be a free agent. Who are you going on this point guard?
Starting point is 01:47:18 Fears and Alvarado. Okay. Oh, no. Okay, so who's desperate to dump cash right now or dump $7? The Sixers? With it? Shit. So, Cal, if they currently have a payroll of $232 million,
Starting point is 01:47:43 Nix or $211, Warriors are $211,000, Mavs of $208, whatever was a $205. Cases would be nice. Yeah, Cavs at this point probably need to re-aculate money so they can build because the team they have. No, no, no. They have messed up the...
Starting point is 01:48:00 No, no, because they have a very high salary cap, but they don't have the real talent to win a championship. So what you can do now is say, all right, we can trade you these two players for him, right? So that's $40 million. They get back $40 million, but they can cut that $40 million. So they cut that $40 million.
Starting point is 01:48:21 Now they got $40 million in free agent market. Their tax bill estimated $163 million. That means? So now they can go out there and be big ballers now. Say. I can do. Sorry. Another sign of the, I am a contract that cut.
Starting point is 01:48:34 Do anybody pay? No, no, no, no. No, do anybody give them big money out of that? They don't have to. No. They have to prove it. He's giving him the same type of contract. No, like, okay, let's say.
Starting point is 01:48:46 He's proven him in any play, but he can go anywhere he wants them. That's okay. That's okay. That's okay. That's what I'm saying. He could go anywhere he won't. Who has salary cap? Because it all depends on what he's going to want to sign for.
Starting point is 01:48:57 Because he can sign for the vet mim. I don't know if that would be allowed. That's what I'm saying. If they cut him, he could. He could. But you know based on that. You know what's so funny is you get investigated for that. Let's say you have a value of 20 million a year.
Starting point is 01:49:14 You go on a free agency and you go somewhere and sign for the vet mim early. That would be investigated. But that's just showing you've got to show your worth. It's like Ben Simmons. Yeah, why? Like if you go into it, you sign a minimum. Because of Kauai. But no, but that's the reason because of things like that.
Starting point is 01:49:34 They don't want you to. Remember, salary cap is the most important. Take a year. You got to take a year to show your worth. Right, right, right. So I'll sign a bet minimum, right? Take a year. But I'm worth 20, but I want to sign a bet minimum.
Starting point is 01:49:45 You're investigating. Because I want more, right? I want more. I got to prove it that year. Right. But I'm saying, I'm saying it's just to be no problem. People wouldn't have to sign a vet minimum. Because I'm gambling.
Starting point is 01:49:54 I'm taking a risk. No, but there's other deals out there and you're taking as that minimum, how much they pay you under the table. Because I'm pretty sure you get way more than a bad minimum. Remember, everyone wants to dodge your salary cap. So instead of me giving you $10 million a salary on books, I'd rather give you nine in your pocket one on the books.
Starting point is 01:50:13 Because one on the books, I can go get another point. Yeah, go get some other guy. And that's it. For that year. Yeah, for that year. So basically like the deal that. Kawai did. Yeah, okay.
Starting point is 01:50:25 To be able to give Paul George. Don't you like to plant trees? So it'd be really tricky because whoever is kind of easy to follow. Whoever wants to dump salary, whoever wants to dump salary for next year or get ready for the 20-27. He is the perfect contract because you can let him go and you can let him go and sign him back. I can cut him off a 40 million and then say, hey, I give you 20. I said, you can do whatever. He said, to the Spurs.
Starting point is 01:50:52 He was signed for a bit minimum. Mm. You could send him to Dallas. You think he was signed for a bit minimum. No, no, no. You could send him to Dallas. He definitely needed to go somewhere where. So, so funny, you say that.
Starting point is 01:51:03 We're talking about that second. So he's getting $40 million this year, $42 million next year, $44 million. No, no, no, no. So look at what he said. $40 million, right? He do pay us working for $40 million. I get him for $40 million. And just like, um, Fred, right?
Starting point is 01:51:17 I say, hey. I'm going to cut you. I'm going to cut you. Is that what they did, right? I'm going to cut you. We had a team option. They basically say, or I'm going to cut you.
Starting point is 01:51:26 You're not getting this breast or take this. So he can say, I'm going to cut you. Instead of getting the 40, I only want to give you 20. Take it or leave it. What's the incentive on the back end of that 20? Is this, I'm taking the 20 for this one year, and we're going to renegotiate after this? Because the 20 on the books makes sense for our books.
Starting point is 01:51:46 Yeah. But after this, I know you're going to want more. Especially if you play well We do something You play well? You know what I'm saying? So it couldn't be no long-term deal On the books for that 20
Starting point is 01:51:56 It got to be one year of 20 That's what I was saying When James got fucked up Remember? In the Sixers You gotta remember He don't have the leverage right now So he can be put in a situation
Starting point is 01:52:09 Where whoever gets him Is gonna cut him off that original deal And then see if they can add But if he says no And then let's say he wants to go to OKC he can sign for whatever he wants to so then he becomes a problem in free agency or not even free agency it's just in the open market
Starting point is 01:52:29 because he got let go now he's a so if he says you know what fuck that I want to go win the championship okay see what y'all got you got 500,000 you got a million yeah he got to take whatever I'm signing and then he go there sign they win the championship he has decent numbers going into free agency he going to be getting at least 20 million But hold up.
Starting point is 01:52:48 Ain't that based on your market value at that point? So if you think about market value with him, with his resume and his injury prone... It's way more than that middle on the deal. But we're talking about 10? 20. He's at 26 and 4? But you play half of the game since 2019. Less than half.
Starting point is 01:53:10 Like we literally as an organization. On a team like that. Fuck all that. Every game. This is what I'm saying. 50% of your games you don't. miss based on your weight problem and whatever as an organization you double in that like we the owners doubling whatever we're paying this on our books it's going
Starting point is 01:53:28 double so we got to think about it like now if the market value saying ain't nobody else out there gonna give him what he asking for they mean when they gonna make that back when he when he when we cut that 20 and he's like all right open market free market I can go anywhere we got we can give you five we can give you beer yeah yeah it can But that's going to be contingent on everybody offering him that, right? If the first team come up and give him, like, we'll offer you 15, now he know that's his evaluation, right? But does he take that 15 to go on another situation that potentially he don't want to fuck with, or I could come over here? Listen.
Starting point is 01:54:04 And it's not a, yeah, if it's not a situation he wants to be in and they offer him. 22-6-4, right, it's never been about his performance. No, we've never knocked them for his performance, just his health. Yeah. Now, who has the healthiest team? Is it Golden State? Probably O'KC. I mean, Stephanie.
Starting point is 01:54:21 Yeah, I'm about saying, right, O'KC. Okay, C, yeah, down to the Williams, Danvin, Miami. Yeah, yeah. Without Brown and Aaron Goren right now. Right, so. Everybody's pretty fucking. Everybody, everybody, yeah, everybody's pretty fuck.
Starting point is 01:54:34 Okay, C. No, no. But I'm just saying, in the last, in the last, like, in the last, like, five years, what team, what team most of their players always are healthy? The Knicks have the best medical staff. Leaving the training staff and leave, which they got from Dallas. So now what ends up happening is the team itself don't give a shit about your history because most teams know they don't have what we have.
Starting point is 01:55:02 That's a mediocre franchise. That's a bottom feeding franchise. So we get him, even though he's played less than half or half, we're not worrying about that because we're not them dummies over there. Yeah, we're going to turn his whole. We're going to turn the whole shit around. So if he averages 26 and there over there, With that bullshit, he's kind of us, he's a superstar. Bigger market.
Starting point is 01:55:21 So, Knicks would probably. If they know they have the best, if they do it. They got one of the best medicals for sure. They would go after him, and they might fuck around and not cut him. His contract. Yeah, facts. They wouldn't give a fuck. Facts.
Starting point is 01:55:38 O.G. Zion for OG? Right now. So now was your. Right now? Right now. Zion for OG straight up. Now what happened with you?
Starting point is 01:55:46 Now here. Now here's a. a gangster move. Okay. Yeah, I'm about, yeah, I'm going to be crazy. Hold on, hold on. Hey, what happened to the final immediate? Now, let's say if you Knicks,
Starting point is 01:55:57 the bread matches up. The bread matches up with you. With O.G.? Very, yeah. Oh, shit. Now you have two plays here. If you are the Knicks. But, O.G.
Starting point is 01:56:08 And you know you're sitting with, um, Yonis, and you sitting there, you got a link to Yonis. You know what you're trading. You are personally thinking of, about who you can trade with them, okay, with Pelicans. Okay. And you're having a conversation with Zion, like, look, we want you long term, but look, we're trying to get Janus too.
Starting point is 01:56:32 So we've got to make this deal for Janus. When you get here, we're going to cut you, and we're going to pay you, we're going to re-sign you back for this. Right, right, right, right. And then we'll give you a big contract or whatever. But we need to make this. Right? That's the Brunson deal
Starting point is 01:56:48 And now you would sit there with With Brunson We've seen it Listen, we've seen Stefan Katie What I'm saying That's a big super team Because you know he wants to beat it We wanted to go to the next originally
Starting point is 01:57:03 That's the next team And he has New York That's getting rid of O.G and Kat That's OG and Kat They need the win For the next one I'm going You might have to put it. You might have to
Starting point is 01:57:14 You might have to do in Just see Josh Hart? You might have to throw in John Hart or McHill. Bridges. I'm trying to keep the chill at all costs. That's all right. That's it.
Starting point is 01:57:24 But you might have to throw in. You're losing four of them. You're losing four of those starters. But you're getting back Zion and. We keep it Mitchell? Now you'll probably get rid of him as if you can keep. Wait, wait. So what would the team be, actually?
Starting point is 01:57:42 It all depends. Yonis, Zion, Brunson. Brunson. Heart? You've probably got to get rid of heart. You got to keep heart. You got to keep heart because he's on the bed. What I'm saying is I'll probably try to keep McKale.
Starting point is 01:57:56 I'm trying to keep McKell for sure. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. It's like Michael or Hart. Fuck. No. If you get rid of Mitchell, you're talking about Mitchell, Kat, OG, and Hart. Where will heart fit? See, you know what?
Starting point is 01:58:07 I probably will have to keep heart only because he's a glue guy and he can. He can play anywhere. He's like the guards Raymond Green, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Offenser rebounds, defense. That's right, that's right. I was about to say that because now you got Zayan, you got Zayon, he just don't shoot. That's okay though.
Starting point is 01:58:28 He don't have no comment on that number. You got enough forward, though. But in that other way, I keep tagging on two forwards already. But we need somebody to go out there and guard 94 feet. Go do all that shit. We got, we got Zanyan, Janis, and fucking Brunsford. That's enough score. You're packing the pay.
Starting point is 01:58:43 His shoe's about 30, he's just 38%. He's packing the paint for sure. Packing the paint. Yeah, but he can still shoot it, though, is what I'm saying. He can still put it in the hoop, though. Please shoot it. I'm sticking with McHale Bridges, and I'm fucking with a young fellow McBride off the bench. Shut out of Dukebride.
Starting point is 01:58:59 We got Clarkson off the bench, and if we got to get rid of Mitchell and all them, we got Zion and motherfucking Yannis, man. You can save it, like Brunton already saved you money to do it to for the future, and then if you can get, whoever gets Zion's contract. It's because Zion might get hurt and you might need that four men to come in. That's the only way I'm thinking to keep it hard. Like whoever, whoever gets him, they're going to save a lot of money. But you can't play all three.
Starting point is 01:59:23 It's going to change your, it's going to change your contracts. That is no way. But that's a different type of look, though. You're talking about Janus, Zion and Brunson in New York. Knicks will be cracking. Cracking him. Because I say healthy in New York, no gumbo, but some fine culinary offerings throughout. That's already 132.
Starting point is 01:59:42 Man, damn. had away from us. Yes, it did, Gil. I wrap this shit up. Time flies when you're having fun. There's a nicer word to say that. Now, I'm on my Chris Paul. Wrap this shit up. We got shit. We got shit. Gil, arena lawyering.
Starting point is 01:59:56 What does it say? Funny how times flies when you're having fun. I never heard of that. I mean that. You mean that's, that's Janet Jackson. That's Janet Jackson. Thank you. Funny how time flies. Oh, but it was like that. I was like, oh. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That sound like that.
Starting point is 02:00:13 Hey, they're not, look out. Hey. I'm like, am I sure. Do I, do I? Mr. B. They're not. Oh, okay. This is a different.
Starting point is 02:00:21 Oh, man. That Janet Jackson's on is a classic, by the way. Do you want to stream? No. Oh. Did it do. I told you what I know that Joe Jackson is harder.
Starting point is 02:00:34 Because she had the video with Michael Jackson. That's why. Ain't nobody listen to other Jackson's Right. Michael, Janet Jackson got some records. He got a record. We know he had other siblings. Jackson got a record.
Starting point is 02:00:49 We know there was a Tito, Randy, Sandy. We thought there was a bunch of, we just put the Michael last. Jackie Jermaine. Who left the town in the pool? Who left the damn towels in the pool? Michael. They were leaving town in the pool. They were living a good life.
Starting point is 02:01:02 Hey, what are your sister? Toyota. Oh, Latoya Jackson. Janet. Tonyola. Toyota Jackson. I knew it was a car. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 02:01:11 It didn't move very well. I've seen the picture of her recently. I said, yeah, it ain't moving. Did she come out with songs? She tried at one point. Toyota. All right. It's in the back.
Starting point is 02:01:26 It's in the back. Put some oil in that. Don't you like to clean? That oil, man. That oil, man. Oh, bad note. Randy Jackson. Appreciate everybody in the chat.
