So as a reminder, this weekend Gil hosted
as a reminder, this weekend Gil hosted
the Battle Mode two-on-two championship in the arena.
Gil and B. Russ versus Swaggy and Simba
in the best three out of five series,
which also included a shootout dunk contest,
unsanctioned boxing match, and a twerk off.
After falling down 0-2 to Swaggy and Simba,
Gil and B. Russ's purple squad locked in and turned up,
winning the next two games to even the series.
So we pick up the action and game five with the score tied,
all that stood in the way of immortality
was a single bucket.
Game five with the score D-Lo poster.
What you say?
Get these niggas up out of here.
B Russ with the game winner.
Easy work, easy work.
Wait, we got to wait for the game to end.

Damn.
Damn.
Uh-oh.

Kobe's first ring.
Kobe's first ring?
How you get this?
I asked him.
I asked him.
Took a couple years though, but
So Gil, what does it feel like to be the undisputed battle mode two-on-two champion?
And it feels great, you know
You know, it's kind of I guess, you know, this is how Lakers felt, you know, when they won their first in season tournament
Also, and season tournament, not?
No, when they won their first end season,
it was a championship.
Yeah.
And, you know, I can see how these boys feel.
I've been drunk all week.
I've been drunk all week.
I ain't even gonna lie.
It's a good ass feeling, man.
It's a good ass feeling.
I'm not even gonna lie to you.
I'm about to be gone cat.
B-Rust, how you feeling after winning the chip?
All that hard work.
Game winning bucket, literature squad,
over Swaggy and Simba.
Yep.
Young Kobe.
That's what happened.
That's what happened.
That's why the young Kobe did it.
Fucking Simba.
Greatness.
That was 2016 Kobe.
Simba quit on you.
Yeah.
Your teammate quit on you.
2016, young Kobe 2017.
2016 Kobe.
Okay.
It was great.
So Swaggy and Simba.
Game winners, been celebrating all week
He got frustrated he got frustrated at the wrong time
He thought about Sam air balls, but y'all was holding
Shit basketball
When it was 11 11, I was like 11 11 The last point I was confused
He walked off the court at one point
swag your team took a
2-0 lead then proceeded to trick off the next three games in front of the humongous crowd
workers boxing but
Do you assemble lose this championship or did the purple team win it?
I think we like lost it. We lost it. It was the third game you know after the
third game it was like like some torque contest and people started getting
sidetracked you know. You started eating ribs. There were cheeks in them. I started eating them. Taking shots.
This nigga was eating ribs and taking henny shots. And I felt like we had it in the bag.
And then, you know, they just turned it on.
Symba was air balling and shit.
Couldn't get the rebounds.
Hard to get a rebound with somebody air balling.
So, that's tough.
I ain't gonna lie.
I appreciate Symba.
That nigga raised.
Appreciate him.
You know what I mean?
Appreciate him.
So I had little D-Lo cutouts all over.
It was like kind of designed for me to lose.
I was a little sidetracked there.
Couldn't focus really.
Memories kept popping in my head.
He had the camera.
I was trying to get Iggy there.
She didn't get the DM.
I was trying, bro.
I was trying.
He tried. Trying. Hit a couple of your old holes up, man.
Home court advantage.
I did a little.
You did mix a little sprinkle.
I tried to sprinkle up a little couple of holes.
Had to try to have.
Keanu comes.
Had your kids come, but it was busy.
What is your chain size?
It's flipped over right now.
Huh?
Lakers back.
Okay.
They're back.
So he goes to Lakers, then the G League, then the L It's flipped over right now. Huh? Lakers back.
OK, they're back.
He goes to Lakers, then to G League,
and then it's something else.
And then we like right under to something else.
Right under the G League.
We're brining them in?
No, no, no.
It's somebody and then us.
That's what we were saying.
G League somebody, then us.
Then y'all.
Yeah, that's where we at.
At least we on the list.
Yeah, we on the list.
So we should add this in the band, you know.
Okay, banner.
Banner coming, okay.
Banner coming.
So for his Clutch performance
throughout the championship series,
B-Rus was named the Battle Mode 2-on-2 Finals MVP.
Gil, how does not winning the Battle Mode Finals MVP
affect your legacy?
That's sick.
Oh, we gotta do this again.
Wait, what?
Now we gotta bring this back.
Hey, listen.
MVP.
All of the Finals MVP. MVP. He didn't even this back. Listen, MVP. All of the finals MVP.
MVP.
He didn't even score enough.
I have more points than you did.
Listen, listen.
This man gave me my first ring.
Some of the greatest players in NBA history didn't win it.
Right?
You know what I mean?
Magic Johnson don't have all his championship MVPs. Kareem don't, I mean magic Johnson don't have all this championship MVP's Kareem
Don't have all this bird don't have all this, you know, Cole don't have all this Shaq don't have all this Duncan
Don't have all this, you know, Steph don't have all this, you know, I don't have mine
This is cool young boy. That's why he got eight. Yeah, I'd have been dumb to get eight. That's why you took twenty-four
Okay, I respect it. I had eight I had to be the rookie eight and that's hard to explain
It's easier to say 2016 cold
You know, I mean I got I got a look who I got a look a one two and I'm not no Luca
Did you wear little good to get to the finals? No, no, I figure I wasn't gonna be in look a form
So I was not even gonna
Play them first, so they would have never been
in the finals if we would have played them first.
You're right.
Best out of three.
Remember, if you were the one or two...
Right, because I wasn't...
Got them out of there.
My knee wasn't even feeling good.
I had to take some drugs to get...
I did see the lady come out and all.
Yeah, had to throw the tourt'ol up in there.
Had to get it stopped.
I feel it now.
Gil, can you win a two-on-two championship as the number oneel all up in there. Had to get a shot. Yeah, I feel it now. Gil, can you win a two on two championship
as the number one option?
That's what the streets are saying, you can't do it.
I'm not even gonna lie with you.
The way that heat work, my knee work, yeah.
He gotta do it.
I'm not even gonna lie, man.
He gotta be a gym.
He hit the shots to get us there though.
I hit the shots to get us there, he took us home.
He set us up.
So Gil, battle mode quickly become a hood phenomenon video games bowling pickleball basketball name a few
We are not satisfied. They want more what other competitions can we expect to see on battle mode in the near future?
Yeah golf coming. Hmm
Damn we got baseball coming
I know back
We got boxing coming I want to whip your ass.
Let's go.
No boxing.
We got boxing coming.
We're going to get robbed, you know.
We don't want to get in other content.
You're going to be seeing how people fight.
Okay.
All right.
We'll keep it on the low.
But for one more time, let's salute the 2025 Battlemall 2-on-2 Basketball Champions.
Get over to Renes.
Be Russ.
The first, only, and hardest.
I can't wait for the next one.
Hey, man, did you get them holes I sent you?
Yeah.
I got them.
I got them.
It's in about two, three.
I'm doing it.
B-Rus, we appreciate you pulling up.
Celebrate your championship.
So basically, we're saying we gotta get the fuck off the couch.
You know what I mean?
That's fine with me.
I got more celebrating to do anyway.
I know.
More celebrating to do.
My shit ain't over with. Ladies and gentlemen, one more time.
2025 Battlemode Champions.
I do feel like... Battlemode Finals every week.
I am the Warriors. Be rough.
I am the Warriors. Appreciate y'all.
All in on K.E.R.
One more time? You want to take one more time?
Nah, I'll get it one day.
We got another one coming.
The crown fell off the trophy, guys.
Got another one coming soon. There you go.
I don't know where this came from.
Well let's keep this thing moving.
NBA on break until game one of the finals this Thursday.
McGill has some picks up in his partner pack on the underdog app.

This is for game one.
The final extender. You got Chet Holmgren, higher 16.5 points, Pascal
Siakam, lower 1.5, three-pointers made, Jaylen Williams, higher 18.5 points, Miles Turner,

How's everybody else on the couch feeling about these pickups for game one of the NBA finals starting this Thursday 530 p.m. Pacific 830 p.m. Eastern
Not impressed hmm Pascal yeah, you know he too
Larry Bird Eastern Conference finals MVP will make two threes. He gonna have to the prediction. You don't have to hit two threes cuz
He gonna have to. Is the prediction on this guy?
He gonna have to hit two threes,
cause he gonna have to hit two or three threes at night.
Miles turn to two, he ain't gonna get six.
Well he gonna have to.
Yeah, I don't know.
Okay, we asked the chat if they're riding
or fading with your picks.
Ain't a lot of money.
51% of the chat riding with these picks.

But if you like these going on,
go to underdog and use Gil's partner pack.
If you don't have underdog download that,

So now let's shift over to some real hoops,
the Eastern Conference Finals.
Wait, real real hoops.
Is that a jab?
Real real hoops.
Real real.
He said real real.
I mean yeah, real real. You don't think that he was real like that?
He said y'all, something else, G Lee.
We under that.
You put us in reverse.
It's in the order.
But now let's get to the top dog.
No, we there for the Lakers.
I don't know what team you is.
So shift over to Eastern Conference Finals.
Season on the line in game five, the Knicks responded with a 17 point win in their first and only home win of the series
Jalen Brunson led the way with 32 five and five his franchise record 21st career postseason game with 30 or more points
Pat battled through a knee injury to put up another double-double with 24 and 13 boards
Siri shifted back to Indiana for game six the Knicks looking to build off the momentum to force a game seven back in Madison Square Garden
So after a pair of gentlemen sweeps in the first two rounds Indiana was facing their first real test this postseason but the Pacers
haven't lost two straight games since March 10th and let it be known that streak wasn't ending this
weekend. So let's take a look at Tyrese Halliburton before the game. Halle and some of his teammates
came dressed in all black like they were ready for a funeral. It was. You see he got the duffel bag too.
Ben Stiller has some comments.
We'll talk about that a little bit later.
And the Pacers proceeded to put the Knicks
in a Cancun casket.
Let's take a look at the highlights,
if we can please Paolo.
So last time these teams played at Game Bridge Fieldhouse,
they combined for 78 points in the first quarter.
This one was more tightly contested
as the team combined for 49 points
after the first frame with the Pacers holding a one point lead. The Knicks stepped up
on the defensive side in the first half to stay in the game despite Brunton and Katz's offensive
struggles with a duo finishing the first half with 10 and 8 respectively on a combined 7 for 20
shooting. OJ Ananoby and Mikhail Bridges picked up the slack combining to score nearly half the Knicks
point in the first half. Meanwhile, Pascal Siakam carried the Pacers
throughout the game, scoring 16 of his game-high 31 points
in the first two quarters.
He also had five rebounds, three blocks in the game.
Both teams shot over 50% in the first half
with the Pacers taking a four-point lead into the break.
Let's take a look if we can.
There he goes.
It's the Ironman McHale Bridges.
They're feeling it.
But Pacers, like them saw a lot this game.
Quick on the break.
It seemed like every time Nick's got a bucket, Pacers right back.
Dominated them with fast break points.
Indiana open the third quarter with a 9-0 run to extend their lead to 13
with Siakam coming through with eight points early in the quarter. Nicks got it back down to single
digits but the Pacers caught fire with another 9-2 run hitting three straight
threes with two of those coming from rarely used reserve Thomas Bryant. Bryant
had four total points in 22 minutes in the series entering this game but came
through with 11 points in 13 minutes of action going three or four from beyond
the arc. The Nicks responded with the 8-0 run of their own to get the deficit
back in a single digits,
but Indiana would not be denied and led by 15
after the third quarter.
OJN and Obie led the Knicks with 24 points
on seven of 18 shooting.
Caronthony Towns, 22 points of four-turn rebounds,
while Jalen Brunton added 19.7 assists,
but he also had five turnovers.
It was Brunton's lowest scoring output in the series.
New York found themselves in familiar territory
this postseason looking for another fourth quarter comeback,
but Indiana had other plans as the Halliband made his presence felt.
Halley scored 11 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter finish with 13 assists,
six rebounds, and three steals as well.
Andrew Nebher provided a spark on both sides of the ball.
14 points, eight assists, six steals, amping up Brunton throughout the game.
Obie topping big off the bench against his former team.
18.63 rounds in three blocks, 7-11 shooting.
So with the game out of reach in the final minute,
Halley gave New York one last parting gift,
nailing the 32 footer to put the final nail
in the Knicks coffin.
Look at that.
Indiana dominating New York at fast break points,
scored 34 points off of New York's 18 turnovers. Pacers advance to the finals for the first time
in 25 years. So after the Pacers stole game one and two in New York the rallying
cry on 7th Avenue was Nixon 6 but it ended up being Hicks in 6 with the Pacers
securing their trip to the NBA finals and meeting with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
So what are your biggest takeaways from the Pasterns Eastern Conference finals win over the
Knicks? Mr. Big started with you. You've been very high on Tyrese Halliburton
throughout this postseason. We've seen this Pasterns squad really coming to
their own now, their second finals in franchise history. First in the last 25
years. Siakam. There's a lot of noise being talked about Siakam not taking
that leap, not taking that being the number one option.
Huh?
Who said that?
Gil.
No, I didn't.
Tap.
You said he didn't take that leap.
Tap.
No, you said coming from Toronto, he didn't take that leap as
becoming the number one option when he came to the Pacers,
right?
No, no, no, no, no.
The subject was.
Mm-mm.
I say it.
There it is.
Right point, press down!
Where did he go?
I'm in my track.
Press down already!
OK, absolutely.
The subject was, who is the most important number two option?
And it had him. they had Jaden Williams,
okay, they had Kat and they had Julius Randall. That was the subject and I said if he is a number
two option that's a problem because he came there to be the number one option.
That's what that was. So I picked him as the most important guy because if he's the number
two option, he's supposed to be the number one option. So that was my pick of who is
the most important number two. I thought he was supposed to be the number one. That's
how that went.
Right, because you said he didn't take that leap.
Because he hasn't took the leap. So the fact that he's even in this conversation is a problem. That's leap So the fact that you guys are he's even in this conversation is a problem
That's how I started off the conversation if he's even in this I thought he's supposed to be the number one
I thought they got him from Toronto right to be the number one
I'm so but so but if you have him as the number two, so y'all have him as the number two
I didn't put him as a number two. I'm just going off of what they said. That's why I picked him
See I can because they don't play off riser. The known playoff riser.
And we're going to talk about a
different. I mean, I know you heard, but
that's you got to listen to how I thought.
I mean, no, I mean, you did say he didn't
take that leap. Once he got to the end, he didn't
take the leap as being the number one, because that's what
they came here for him to be the number one.
Is he the number one? Yeah.
He showed it in this
series. I mean, he showed it. He showed it in this series.
I mean, he showed it.
I mean, the Eastern Conference Finals.
I mean.
The Larry Bird Eastern Conference Finals.
He showed it to Larry Bird for being named
to be the number one.
For the Eastern Conference Finals.
You think he's the number one?
It's hard to say they have a number one out of them two.
What is the average?
I mean, it can go either way.
Yeah, that's why I'm about to say it's hard.
I mean, it can go either way.
I mean, one night it can be highly.
One night it can be highly.
That's why it's so good. I mean, I think it can be Howley, one night it can be Sapphire.
I mean, I think the votes for the NBA was what?
Five to four?
Howley averages 21, 11 and six.
Yeah, that's right.
And he averages 25.
25, five and four.
Yeah, so it can go back in, I mean, any night.
To me on that team.
Big drop.
I mean, it's not that crazy,
but he averaged four more points than them.
Losing them one option. It could be like who's more important. I mean, it's not that crazy, but I mean, he averaged four more points than them. Losing them one option.
It could be like who's more important.
OK, but that's what they said.
I'm lying, but they didn't understand.
You can just go look at ESPN.
Who is they give?
I mean, the chat.
Just go look at the chat.
Just go look at ESPN.
It was right there clear.
The eye in the sky don't lie.
Who are you picking the number two options?
The eye in the sky don't lie.
You know what the coach said. The eye in the sky don't lie. Just run the tape. Rewind options. No, I am this guy You know the coach say I just got a lot just run the tape rewind it play
Hey, you're right. Let's say see what Stephen a and Molly said, what do they put him?
They put him as a number two option. Hmm
So I went off my comments are off of that and we did discuss to us
Yeah, all the number two options. They said who is the most important why you I picked him
I said he's the most important if you have him as a number two option because that's the diabolical part
He's supposed to be a number one option. I think his name make him number two
And I mean the number one but his name make a number two
Already already NBA champion all-star this year. Yeah, but it's just like Ali did get the all-in BA. Nobody run that clip
I'm pretty sure we have it. You got it. You got it. Run the clip.
We are efforting, as they like to say in the industry.
But no, Siakam, you know what I'm saying?
He stepped up.
He did what he did.
I mean, he's been in this position before,
playing with the Raptors.
So this is nothing new to him.
Championship experience.
Haale answering all the naysayers saying,
he couldn't do this, he couldn't do that.
And the Pacers, they just played at their pace, man.
They have one of the best Pacers in the NBA. Oh my God.
And you know, Nie Smith in there,
and Moused and all those other guys, man, they stepped up.
They said Howley was overrated,
said his daddy could not come to the games,
lifted that game for him.
And shout out to Rick Hallard, too.
But let's move over to Sonny.
Sonny, this summer, or this past summer,
you decided to move your lead us to the New York Knicks
after guiding the Boston Celtics to a championship.
This was before the cat trade,
before some moves were made over there
to strengthen that roster.
But what are your biggest takeaways
from the Knicks losing this Eastern Conference Finals?
It was all because Daddy wasn't there.
All the burden is Daddy. Okay. Wasn't there to take him to the fair. Wasn't there to take the burdens daddy, okay?
Wasn't there to take him to the fair wasn't there to take him
to the fair and Caitlin Clark showed up game six and we didn't
have a fucking chance.
So I told y'all if she show up.
Yeah, Pages underfeed with Caitlin Clark in the building
told you if she showed up it was gonna be a wrap.
So when she showed up, it was
man tips. I thought he was a good defensive coach.
But it just showed all night.
But Pacers, you know, they do what they're supposed to do.
Take advantage of the weaknesses.
They play hard.
Hard to coach that, though.
They play hard, they play together.
They push the pace. It just reminds us of how we played in college. Get the ball out, they play together. They push the pace.
It just reminds us of how we played in college.
Get the ball out, push it ahead.
They don't got, that's why I say defense with Tibbs.
It's like transition defense, get back on defense.
Who's back? Two back.
No one's back. They know this, no one's back.
Hollaberg is too smart. Hey y'all, just go.
I'm gonna throw it up.
But is that coaching or effort?
Both.
That's effort when I get back. If you got two back all the time and that's your system. I'm gonna throw it up. But is that coaching or effort? Both.
That's effort when I get back.
If you got two back all the time and that's your system.
But the coach can't even take no matter what, get back.
And we saw a lot of that in game six.
Makes me get a bucket, Pacers will rush right back up down the court.
Yeah, because it's a system.
If you want them to pick up, you can't have nobody back.
So you can't play both.
That's what New York was supposed to be doing to the Pacers.
They picking up full court
You supposed to get it out fast
Man, you see your man going you supposed to follow him
But you is to guard you got to to the point guard and the shooting guard supposed to be back all time
Say up close so that means no one's back
That fast breaks you could see I come sometime
Whoever it is is still we take take and we pick him up.
It's the guard gotta pick him up, whatever it is.
But that's effort, you gotta get back.
Yeah, you pick him up and then you send him off.
Yeah, you send him off at the end.
Mello used to do that.
Mello used to run out and then try to post you up
when they come down in transition,
but at least they weren't even doing that.
Nobody was getting back.
That's what I'm saying.
Communication, get back on defense, communicate even doing that. Nobody was getting back. That's what I'm saying. They was, that was great.
Communication, get back on defense, communicate.
I got ball, I got back.
Hey, somebody get this.
Bro.
Ball go up, if you ain't going to get an offensive board,
everybody should be getting back.
That corner man pulls the run man.
I don't think a lot of that got to do with their fatigue.
Nah, cause that's communication.
They take care of fatigue, and we all can talk.
But a lot of their fatigue came from dumb fouls.
Yeah, that's just undisciplined shit.
They're not disciplined.
That comes from coaching too,
because if you preach in discipline,
that means your error, you can't have no errors out there.
And we all know it, because we all like,
the coach is demanding us to be disciplined
on these things.
Come across, all right, Halliburton on the wing, he had be disciplined on these things. Come across.
All right, Halliburton on the wing.
He had a straight line drive to the layup.
No one came across.
OG came across late.
That's a violation immediately.
You know we can't be late on that.
But they gave that up over and over and over again.
The difference is that they're not running to the three-point line like Boston.
They was going for layups and dunks.
Because Rick
Carlisle saying we're not selling them for that shot. Boston running to that
corner just to shoot the three a fast three that's how they was able to come
back. Yep. Indiana not giving that up. That allow you to set your defense up too
you shoot a lot of transition three while we're getting back oh yeah you
bail us out but if you're driving then you're not shooting a layup.
TJ Conley just probing, just trying to find out who opened.
Ooh, there you go.
Then he might just pump fake and lay that bitch up.
You know what I'm saying?
You don't know, they crafty, they crafty.
They deserve it just as much as anybody else.
It's on boy, I'm afraid.
I agree with the Pacers, bitch.
Like TJ, he changed me.
OB is OB and Fred, you can use him. I can see Luca doing something. It's on boy. Yeah, but I agree with the Pacers bench. Like TJ, he changed. Obi is Obi a free agent?
We could use him.
I could see Luca doing something.
Yeah, Luca.
Luca would love to have somebody like that.
Like a better Jones.
Obi Toppett, not a free agent, under contract through 2028,
unfortunately, swagging.
But let's shift over to this side.
Gil, now that you have championship experience,
know what it takes to get over the hump
and win a championship, be a champion.
What were your biggest takeaways from the Pacers
becoming Eastern Conference Finals champions
with their series win over the Knicks?
They understood the game plan.
And the game plan was push the tempo,
pick them up full court.
Push the tempo, pick them up full court.
And doing that for seven straight games,
you know, the advantage, you know, swung your way.
And because they pushed the ball so fast,
they got easy baskets while the Knicks had to work
for every point they got.
And they just, they just relied on Knicks just not being disciplined basketball players.
Like, they made some rookie fucking college mistakes.
Like, there was mistakes that, like, certain fouls you made, it's just dumb fouls like like this Park League fouls
Yeah, it wasn't even NBA fouls like this Park League foul like they're coming. I'm bored. I just push you for no reason
Right here run that video run that video back. Let's look at the fast break
This is called unorganized basketball. Like this is this is basketball 101 if you have a guard
This is basketball 101. If you have a guard,
and get ready to,
I just want to see on a fast break.
Just watch the fast breaks.
Like right there.
Pause it.
Go back.
I know, he biased.
Go back.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
He biased.
Go back, go back, go back, go back, go back, go back.
Right here.
That challenged you. Right. Right here. That challenge deal, right?
You got a guy that's challenging you and he leaks out.
Brunson didn't move,
Cat didn't move,
nor OG move.
To go back.
Cause like, to go back, to stop this,
if this was an outlet.
This is old school cherry pick at the park.
Yeah, yeah, I'm about to say, yeah.
Challenge and keep moving.
But it's always once somebody shoots too bad.
Now go play.
So that would have been easy too
if they had got that rebound.
Thankfully Mitchell Robinson.
And nobody on the coaching staff is saying somebody back.
Keep playing.
Get back.
You keep playing, pal.
Are y'all following?
I'm trying to get you to see how I can click.
Multitasking again.
Multitasking.
Is this first take?
Is it?
Oh, my god.
Boom.
The haliband.
Oh, OK. Not those, though, not the one I'm talking about.
Right here.
Right?
Go.
This wasn't a shot, so you lost the ball in here.
Just keep going, keep going.
It's not a lost ball.
But you got four players under the basket.
Mikael was too late.
Damn.
I'm going to use that one. Mikel was too late. Hey.
I'm gonna use that one.
Let me see.
Right.
This one, Bridges hits the three.
Yep, right there.
Boom.
OG's back.
OG's back.
Look at Pesky.
They always have four,
the problem is they always have four people
under the free throw line when they shoot.
Go.
He contested.
But we got one back.
One is back. Two. And Mitchelled. But we got one back. One is back.
And Mitchell Robinson
is going back to the paint.
Mitchell Robinson is doing what he's supposed to do.
He running to the paint. But Cat, he ain't
saying shit or picking up the ball or nothing.
So OG automatically
thinking I need to pick the ball up. Brunson
is late. So Brunson is
seeing it but he slows down because he don't want the
responsibility. So that's now Mitchell. C is it, but he slows down because he don't want the responsibility.
So that's now Mitchell.
This shouldn't be a lead.
That's OG's fault.
Yep, definitely.
But he picked up the ball too early.
The ball don't need to be picked up.
The ball does not touch the ground.
We call it picking the ball up too high.
That's just...
That's the bar.
All right, go.
Now go, keep going.
Say get back and run to the middle.
That's programmed. That's the whole tie-in. Red again, go back. Say get back and run to the middle. That's programmed. That's what the whole tie ring is.
Yeah, get to the paint.
Red again, go back.
Three on two, two on one.
Go back a little bit, right there.
Whatever happens, right here, look.
Four people under.
All five are under the basket.
All five below the free throw line.
No balance.
No defense.
No Indiana program.
I know.
Play it out.
Pascal, look at that shit. Look at that. You're. Let's play. Yeah.
Pascal, look at that shit.
Look at that.
He'll be the first one every time.
I'm the captain now.
He'll be the first one every time.
Right here.
Play.
Look at it.
All five under the basket.
Like they're playing half-court basketball.
And you got Neb Hart just there.
Yep.
Yeah, but that's just like.
Brunston and Bridges on the baseline.
You got both your guards on the baseline.
Nobody back.
Let's go.
Too easy.
You beg for these.
You beg for these.
That's it.
That's so easy.
That's always the first one.
Give it right back.
You can give it right back to them if you keep running, but.
But these are the points you don't even account for if you're really out there just hooping.
You just run the...
They're 25 to 10 in fast break points.
Yeah, that's what I said.
You're playing real pick and roll, often slowing it down.
And this is what you're giving up.
At some point over time, these easy layups
with no defense, just leak outs, is going to break your spirit.
And that's why in the fourth quarter, it was close game.
And then in the fourth quarter, it was just, fuck you.
So we talk about these Knicks players, the heavy workload, heavy minutes that they played
throughout the season.
Did it feel like it finally caught up to them in this moment?
No.
They're not programmed.
I mean the workload is this.
The front's not programmed to pass it ahead.
They were supposed to change him off the ball.
Why are you bringing the ball up?
Every possession, every single time time you're wasting seven seconds trying
to dribble pass a dude that they not gonna give a foul to you don't matter
what you do he not they not gonna call this foul on both of these strong
aggressive-ass defenders why are you dribbling the ball up bro get them go
down court and wait for them to come give you a pin down that's a lot bring
it up coming off because. Touch through you planning it like a game one.
And you're gonna run back.
You coming off pick a road.
After game one I would have learned.
I would have learned at the game one.
I'm not touching it.
I'm going down.
I'm preserving my energy, bro.
Y'all come get me.
I'll come get it.
40 some minutes.
No way.
Like Josh Hart, you get it, you go.
Try to touch the pain a little bit.
And then Brunson can lag.
You got McBride, push the ball, try to get a layup, but you can't.
Then you find Brunson trailing, then he can come all like you.
You got to make the defense go under the three point line, free throw line, to then close
out.
But that's how you play.
The way Knicks play, everybody's back already.
By the time you get past half court,
they're just chilling.
None of them had to touch the paint.
That's what makes Halle special.
That's what made Jason Kidd special.
That's what made Nash special, right?
Rondo special, Chris Paul.
Like they get into the lane, make the whole defense shift,
and then these trail guys are just open.
Well, Sonny has a nearly year-long diehard Nick fan.
How disappointing is that for you to see?
I just want to go back to this particular point.
They're making it seem like there is no answer
for full court pressure.
They're making it seem like there's not a
play that you can put in to make them stop doing that
94 feet the whole game. You mean to tell me
we haven't figured out that we're gonna throw the ball
ahead to the big man. You're gonna run. We're gonna get a
layup like Princeton offense. Push the forwards up. They're
pressuring us full court.
They're not letting us, they're denying.
Okay, what are we doing?
We're back doing all night.
Why are we not doing?
They're going to play 94 feet.
And Rick Carlisle is like, they're not going to adjust to this.
We're just going to let him tire our guy out the whole way.
We're not going gonna do nothing different.
Bro, that's nasty.
Just watching it.
But I gotta stand on 10 toes,
because I'm with the Knicks.
And I'm like, yeah, hopefully we get there.
But bro, watching that shit was, bro.
No.
Like, I just ate a laxative, bro.
I ate a laxative.
What I'm trying to throw at you.
It's nasty.
Like, it's easy to pick a full court of view
if Brunson is the point guard trying to dribble up because
he's not going to go nowhere.
He's not trying to go nowhere.
He's not going to get by you.
He's not going to foul.
Think about how many times, how many teams that we all played on where they pressed 94
feet.
See, when I first came into the NBA, they picked up full court.
Man to man.
2-2-1.
Sure did.
I'm playing the Blazers.
And I looked at Coach like,
I hated this dude.
This is Steve Kerr.
Can I just go by him?
Can I just go by him?
Just him and Damon Stoudemire.
Can I just go?
Like, fuck the offense.
And he was like,
just go. Got the ball, pushed everybody down. N Like, fuck the offense. And he was like, just go.
Got the ball, pushed everybody down.
Nyeom, nyeom.
Yeah, we got nyeom.
They done set up off a free throw line.
I'm getting layups.
What'd they do?
Just back, just back.
Get back.
That's too easy.
And then you start, and then now Tony Parker's doing it.
And then I don't know, what the fuck Jamal Tinsley's doing,
because he was like Brunson, but he was playing streetball out there on the
Yeah, you're going between your legs
Playing around and then eventually by like 2,000 to 2,000 they done took that bullshit off
Cuz it was too many guards that was too many guys when you got fast guard like him
But can't handle it you wouldn't dare push up on him three-quarter court because you're giving him the advantage to just go by
No, I mean, I'm in attack mode. If you pressure me. I mean you put you in attack mode
We're not we can't pressure you. We can't you can't pressure Fox
Lonzo ball a young Westbrook
You can't pressure those guys in 2-2-1,
because soon as they take off,
that's why McBride was important.
He's the fastest dude on the court.
He can go right by the guy.
You put up a full court man to man
and he'd go by to his guard.
Now it's a five on four.
And now he's got him playing catch up every time.
That makes him tired.
You playing catch up, catch up, catch up.
Now I'm like, bro, but y'all not putting Brunson is just it's like he's Sam Kasell the whole series old Mark
Jackson he Mark Jackson Sam Kasell come on y'all come on
then they ripping him too they ripping him turn him turn him I got him
got him turn that was a little difficult to see, headbutting them hard.
Come on, Bushbred.
All unnecessary.
It was so funny.
It was like, that was 80s basketball.
Your guard bringing up, and it's like, turn him.
What did it tell you in college?
If you didn't turn him three times, you did your job.
Oh, man, we're going to keep you in the game.
Turn him, turn him, turn him.
He touch!
You a defensive player.
You don't need to get a shoot going on. You might not want to do three turns. You might do two and a half. Oh, you a defensive player
You know you might not do three turns you might do in the half two and a half turn never do three You don't get the ball like you play defense now. You turn the three times
You got a guy come on we side for the student. Oh, yeah
Did you get that clip?
No, you're a see Molly
Give me the question now. Yeah, so real quick six ask it. No, you are asking. I want to see Molly ask it. Give me the question.
Also, real quick, Sick Savage in the chat, F you, bro.
Yeah, they want to know why Steve ain't talking no more.
This is very disturbing to say his name
because he was supposed to be a number one, but Pascal.
Right, I thought when they traded for him, he was a-
Gil, where are you on this?
Absolutely.
Who's the most important number two?
Say it again.
Who is the most important number two?
This is very disturbing to say his name because he was supposed to be a number one, but Pascal.
Right.
I thought when he traded for him, he was the go-to guy.
So the fact that you are even in this state, no, you haven't stepped up to the plate.
I mean, 2019, you showed very great promise in your ability and you've never taken that leap
in this basketball career of yours.
So the fact that you're even in this discussion
about who is the most important number two,
it's you because you're supposed to be the number one.
So the fact that a playmaker,
the playmaker on the team is the number one option
lets me know you have no chance
of winning the championship
because statistics show that anyone who averages
over nine assists as the point guard
and they're the best player on the team,
it's hard for them to win a championship
because that means your team is not that good.
So the fact that you're not getting the ball down low
or on the wing and you're taking over these games
and Halle has to grab all the points
from playmaking and scoring,
kind of tells me that Indiana's really not ready for it.
Yeah, we have seen a team win a championship
with a point guard averaging over 10 assists recently.
Stop using LeBron as a point guard.
He was the point guard on that list?
What does that say?
Most important number two in the comment
Pascal so we had we have them for to pick from
Because I had because I had as the most important at first I'm not allowed to do that. You're not allowed to do that. I'm not allowed to do that. I'm not allowed to do that. You're not allowed to do that. I'm not allowed to do that.
I'm not allowed to do that.
I'm not allowed to do that.
I'm not allowed to do that.
I'm not allowed to do that.
I'm not allowed to do that.
I'm not allowed to do that.
I'm not allowed to do that.
I'm not allowed to do that.
I'm not allowed to do that.
I'm not allowed to do that.
I'm not allowed to do that.
I'm not allowed to do that.
I'm not allowed to do that.
I'm not allowed to do that.
I'm not allowed to do that.
I'm not allowed to do that.
I'm not allowed to do that.
I'm not allowed to do that.
I'm not allowed to do that. I'm not allowed to do that. I'm not allowed to do that. I'm not allowed to do that. I picked him as the most important. No, no, no. You see how I rap? You see, but you see, but you see how I pick that up though?
You see how I, I.
But he said he didn't make the leap to be the number one, but who said he didn't?
Clearly did.
But they have him as the number two, but that's why I picked him.
You gave me a give me.
Who did everybody else pick?
I just explained.
Huh?
Who did everybody else pick?
One picked Randall, one picked Kat.
Uh-huh.
So you just threw him in there.
No, I picked him.
I said I'm picking Pascal as the most important number two in this in this in this I know
I know but what I'm saying is in that segment
They say out of these four guys out of these four number twos and I was like, oh, okay
You're gonna put him in number two. I'll take them. So why was Stephen A Smith looking like hey
I'm just saying he was looking like you was like tripping even putting because I said he's supposed to be a number one
So he said I'm tripping for saying he's supposed to be in number one. So he's saying I'm tripping for saying
he's supposed to be in number one.
Mm.
Well, are you tripping now, Gil?
Nope.
And I already?
Nope.
Heart of a champion.
Who was the number one?
Steve Nash or?
Amari.
Amari.
Amari.
Amari who?
It's OK.
You sure?
I see those noses.
That's what I'm saying.
Gil, your chain keeps flipping.
I just want to see the other side.
Amari was number one?
Oh, was he number one?
Amari was the number one option.
But NASA's getting the MVPs.
Yeah.
That's what I'm saying.
I know those are weird.
I'm not going to lie.
You know what it is.
Because remember, back then, it's
just like Karl Malone, John Stockton.
The point guard is the one who is doing what they're doing.
So if you have a pure point and you have a score too,
obviously the score becomes a lot higher.
What was the difference between John and then Steve Nash?
Because if Karl Malone was winning champions,
I mean, MVPs, right?
What was Karl Malone, I mean,
what was John Stockton averaging?
Because I'm sure he was shooting 50, 40, 90.
Yeah, yeah. You know what I'm saying? Same, same. Same type of thing. You know Because I'm sure he was shooting 50-40, 90. Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
Same.
Same type of number Steve has.
Yeah, so if John Stockton is averaging 12 assists
in a double-double there, Utah was what?
Number one in the West back then.
So why did he get it?
And I'm sure he's shooting 50-40.
I think because Amari was already there previously, so he was already on the team.
17 and 14.
Oh, what did he do before that?
Yeah, so Omari was already there and they had the bad year.
They just added Steve Nash.
So because they just added Steve Nash and they went from 20 something to 60, they're
like, oh, he's the MVP.
So they gave the credit because of Steve Nash because he was just the one at it.
There's conversations that need to be had.
Yo, bro, you see Steve, I mean, John Stockton numbers?
16 to 12, the first MVP year.
19 and 11, the second MVP.
But Stockton average is 17 and 14.
Omari got hurt.
17 and 14.
That's what I think.
On Carmelo MVP.
What year was that for, John? Carmelo probably averaged like 30 and 40. Y' what I said. I think. On Carmelone MVP. What year was that?
What year was that for?
Carmelone probably averaged like 30 and.
Y'all had to put it.
But that's what I'm saying.
You had to put it in context.
Is that 999?
So what does that say?
He was a runner up?
He was in the MVP conversation?
So Jordan was average in 30, son.
So they couldn't give it to somebody.
Oh, so he's in the race.
Jordan number one in the East and average in 30.
No, no, no.
17 and 15.
17 and 15.
But I said you have to put it in.
Ninth and MVP voting.
No, no, no.
You have to put it in context with Steve. Yeah. East and average in 30. No, no, no. 17 and 15, 17 and 15.
But as though you have to put it in.
Nice and MVP voting.
No, no, no. You have to put it in context with Steve Nash.
Like Steve Nash got to the team.
Oh, it was a bad team.
So they added him.
They won 60 something games.
He got credited for that. Right.
So there's like, OK, you the MVP.
So they gave him the MVP for that.
Now what ended up happening with the second MVP,
Omari was done. Omari got hurt. He wasn't playing that year. So they was like, oh they're about to fall off and Steve Nash
19 and 11 and they stayed number one MVP again
so it wasn't like him and Omari was both balling at the same time for
You know, so it was it was it was
Omari it was different. You know, so it was, it was, it was, it was different.
You know, so you got to think about the context.
John and Carl was both in MVP.
And the MVP.
But Malone was finishing higher than Stockton.
Yeah, that's a.
But both finished in top 10.
They both is in top 10 MVP.
Both in top 10?
Both.
89, 99.
I'm just looking at.
Carl was 39 in 12, I think.
I mean, 31 in 12.
31 in 11 or something.
Oh, I gotta do something.
Damn!
And John was 17 and 15.
Woo!
Woo!
It's not gonna shoot in what, 15, 40, 90?
Yeah, probably.
So, ooh, so,
so should I say something about them?
What about them? This quickly turned to a Utah Jazz discussion
somewhere, but that's what you come to expect on
Gills Reaves presented by the number one.
You got two top ten
NVPs on the same team.
Oh, it can't
get it done.
You still playing against Jordan and Pippen though.
I'm pretty sure
Jordan and Pippen was the top ten.
You know what I'm saying? No and Pippen was the top 10. I'm not sure.
You know what I'm thinking? When Jordan left...
No, that is a crazy stat, though.
Pippen still stayed at the top.
They both were in the top 10.
I mean, somebody need to do some questions on it.
I mean, there should be some discussion.
When Jordan left, Pippen was in the MVP race, right?
No, these niggas on the same team at the same time.
Not when someone left.
But it's still the same.
No, it's not the same.
Because Pippen was in the MVP race when Jordan left.
So you still technically got two MVPs.
I'm just saying.
We can find out.
I'm just saying, yeah, it's just cool.
That's the question of the way.
Back down memory.
Everybody's got a say.
We want to find out.
No, I mean, because when Jordan left,
they should have beat Houston, Utah.
I knew, you know, just, woo.
But you know, carry on.
May we please?
Are you still inebriated?
Chicago went to seven with New York.
OK.
So let's talk a little bit more, Siakam.
So in a surprise to some, named the Larry Bird Eastern
Conference Finals MVP, named after NBA great legend Larry
Bird, whose name is on the Eastern Conference Finals MVP
trophy that they presented to Siakam spicy
He had three thirty point games in the series including a playoff career high 39
In game two, I think prior to this postseason. He had three total thirty point games three in this series. It's email
I don't like that. Don't say that type of name spicy Peter wish you had it. He wish you had it. That's why
Spicy Pete. He wish he had it.
He wish he had it.
That's why he's got Spicy Pete.
That's Spicy Pete.
Because he want to be spicy.
I'm the captain now.
He want to be spicy.
Nick want to be spicy so bad.
He's like, spicy.
That sound like a restaurant.
Spicy Pete.
Make his shoulders go like this.
So Spicy Pete, Pascal Siakam, average 25.5 rebounds,
four assists, 52% from the field, 50% from three.
Yo. I'm sorry.
25, it is your birthday.
It's your birthday, we continuation, got you steak.
You know, a dancer on Friday, festivities this Sunday.
Some were invited, some were not, little hurt.
My picture almost got me kicked out too.
White girl was touching my leg too much.
You're not gonna get out of the house?
No, no, no, man.
It don't matter.
That white girl would have took care of you.
Spicy Pea Eastern Conference Finals average 25.5 rebounds, 4 assists, 52% from the field,
50% from three.
Gil Woodett, Pascal Siakam show you in the Eastern Conference Finals.
I had the right pick.
I picked the right man.
When did you make that video? He was sick. Stop. He was trying to double down. I had the right pick I picked the right man
You know, they are because he's just like I'm gonna fucking with you. Everything I need to do with you. It's not you, BJ. This is first take.
I'm just trying to show you that fool.
He said don't play back.
You finally understand how I feel.
You see how I swing and fool?
I'm just saying first take.
That was cute, but we could wind play back.
That's what I'm saying.
My first take.
I'm talking about my first take.
Yeah, see?
What he say on play back.
You know, I'm putting the different takes on different takes.
What he say on play back.
Play back.
Oh, I said don't play back.
Hold on, hold on, hold on.
What he say?
I said any game on play back.
He ain't like that.
He ain't going, the paces ain't getting passed because he ain't stepping up. Oh, he said all that. I said any game gonna play back. He ain't like that.
The Pacers ain't getting passed because he ain't stepping up.
He said all that.
So we got new evidence.
We got new evidence.
The man would have liked to be a little broken.
He went over there and was like, you know,
public defense.
So we got more than that.
The eye in the sky. Don't lie
No, no, just oh, yeah, we keep getting caught
What's on multiple Stop it, stop it. You wanna be on the next episode, you better chill and freak out. Stop it, stop it. He's a good boy. What episode? He's a good boy, let him know.
He's a good boy.
Go ahead, go ahead.
He's a good boy for you.
He's trying to fuck this nigga.
Give me a good boy, a good boy.
When the Knicks was winning,
What show, little nigga?
It was Fuck Past Guy.
Soon as they start winning, what happens?
Fuck the Knicks.
No, no, but that's,
in the end, never,
but you were never, never winning.
No, game five. See, you was, I had to jump sides back game five. See? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, but that's in the end never but you know game game five see you was I had to jump sides back game five
See no no
I'm saying
Serious
You're just gonna let them do
I'm gonna make sure everybody doing the job
I'm gonna make sure everybody doing the job
Scotch everybody
Said you're on trial trial membership
But do you feel like that's
What I'm on the next side when you don't try to use that when I'm on an inside
But we was on the next side like this because
Who was winning taking away
Who was winning I was I was team
One game when they were three one game
But they are to one That's all the niggas need. Oh, man. All right. Oh, hell no. All right.
Man, this is what we doing.
I know he tried to get out because of Nick's loss.
Both his teams lost.
You let him do it?
Yeah, I know he happy about that.
I know he's doing it in front of Nick.
That's why the Knicks lost?
I can see it in both teams though.
Oh, I was smart.
I keep seeing the group chat, man.
They lost because Larry was with them.
Larry had both teams that took L's.
Yeah, he did switch his name up.
That's why they lost.
Uh-uh.
He's money making Mitch.
He's money making Mitch with the Larry chain on.
So he's on side to side too.
We both doing the same stuff.
Money making Sonny.
Monkey making Sonny.
He got Larry.
A year long experience.
He got the money making sonny.
Change the allegiance.
Tom, let them niggas know.
Right, yeah.
Carolyn, let them niggas know. here. They're gonna let them niggas
Take that motherfucking that's quick that change with the gills arena under shark
You let this nigga support him do I let him do let and you let this nigga support him do it. You let him support him.
And then you say he was like, alright.
I believe you love Pascal.
That's why I picked him.
I picked the nigga first.
That's me right there.
That's Pascal.
He's the most important.
And I was there.
Don't say it like that.
Don't do that. Don't don't do that. Don't do that
Well, we asked the chat who's the pacer's number one after the goal we asked the chat who's the pacer's number one option
56% said Tyrese Halliburton
Speaking to Hallie he balled out as well
21 points 11 assists six rebounds nearly three steals per game
Hallie the youngest player in NBA history to average 20 points, 10 assists,
in a conference final series win.
Halle's numbers were so impressive, he thought
there was no doubt he was the ECF MVP.
But Halle ended up becoming the
Drewski meme. Let's take a look.
This is the Larry Bird Trophy.
It goes to the MVP of the Eastern Conference Finals and that MVP is Pascal Siakam.
Ernie said it too fast.
Hallie dapping up, pointing to himself.
He tried to take that step.
That's fucked up.
That's unfortunate.
That did bring Nick's friends
some joy in their moment of death. The moment of death.
He was cool, he was like, yeah, man,
take the picture, take the picture, man.
Yeah, let's go get this shit.
For how Lee's party did play it cool after that,
making sure that Spicy Pete took pictures
with both trophies, the Eastern Conference Final trophy
and the Larry Bird Eastern Conference Finals
MVP trophy named after Larry Bird.
That's fucked up.
So just how close was the ECF MVP voting?
Let's take a look at how the Squares casted their votes.
Where is she at?
I knew it.
Five votes for Siakam.
Four votes.
These are the same voters from last year, right?
Some of them.
Some?
It switched up to?
Some are media specific, market specific to the team.
Reggie Miller for what it's worth.
Reggie Miller voted for Tyrese Halliburton.
Greg Katz from the Athletic.
Covers the Knicks, voted for Pascal Siaka.
Damn.
Do they have...do they have...
Just from that? Conversations with these guys throughout the year?
Like, how often do the players interact with this?
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
With them?
Well, some of them are national.
Okay.
So, most, for the most part,
they don't have any interactions.
Reggie Miller, I imagine,
has a ton of interaction with the Pacers.
I mean, okay.
Indianapolis.
He elected Tyrese Halliburne,
perhaps because of the choke.
Dustin.
In game one.
So, is Dustin like a beat writer?
And he's, writer and he's look
like he's an indie Indianapolis star he's a I'm talking about how many who
are beat writers here does for for Indiana Dustin Steve Jamal okay Dustin
okay Steve was like Steve proper Steve poppersper and Fred Katz. Steve Popper is from where?
Newsday.
New York?
Okay, who else?
He didn't want him to win.
Fred, okay so.
New York one.
Okay, so the New York ones,
because Halle did that bullshit.
Okay, got it.
I get it.
So you feel like there was some malicious intent
with the voting to punish Tyrese Halliburton
for doing Reggie Miller's choke
after tying the game in game one,
Pacers went on to win that game.
I mean, you know, we can just, it's a narrative we can push,
but I mean, at the end of the day, man, it's...
I had a light-skinned agenda,
but I will keep that to myself.
You remember, we had this take, you remember,
when Holly was playing bad in game five?
Yeah, game five.
I think that's why he didn't get it.
No, no, no, no, remember I said,
I said, man, what if Pascal ended up finishing,
like, he has like 20 this game and then has
like 30 next game and then if Halle plays bad, can can Pascal
win it and just threw it out there because I'm like, well,
he has a 39 if he finished a little bit higher here and then
has another 30 he can possibly win it.
But I didn't I mean, Holly had a great game.
How he had to do the 30 15 10 game.
I mean, yeah, I mean over game.
Yeah, he just got it off of that.
Yeah, but yeah, but Siakam and you know, he plays both ends of the floor.
And I think like you said, Holly's eight points and lack of defense in game five.
That that's what cost him.
I mean, because you asked him you asked him Siakam to come out down air score
guard cat, go guard this person, go guard that person.
And you know, what Holly just sit in the corner, you know, I cat, go guard this person, go guard that person, and you know,
with Holly just sitting in the corner,
you know, I mean, yeah, you go run the show
and do what you do, but man,
this man playing both sides of the floor, dog.
I'm gonna rebound.
I wish they have, like, their reasons.
Yeah.
Like, I would like reasons.
Do they gotta give that explanation?
I want theirs, because they pick, I want like,
like, I picked somebody in this this wild like he did this this this
And he played you know you know he had to guard this person had to shut them down
So you can you know give kind of explanation of yeah, okay?
Okay, yeah for them, so do you not feel like he deserved it?
who
Pascal I
Don't have no either one of them. I wouldn't be surprised. I'm asking I don't give I don't it doesn't matter to me
Whoever what do you think that Pascal deserved it? Yeah. Yes me
Hello, I don't know. Okay
But if you said Pascal do you deserve it yes, you have Holly reserves I'm say yes like they both played that great
Where's I see it both ways right? Yeah, I come 330 point games in the series, but I'll see Hallie as a facilitator
Engine of this year
He playing both sides by either way I don't
Tyrese was playing defense too. That's in we're picking up full court to man
Listen, that dude is it is listen. He is not playing no man Pascal jumping and running
Pascal is gardens Pascal's number three games three steals per game. Let me give you see I come hey the passage
I don't mind either way. It's
Shall I do this in Tyrese then everybody been like cool?
Either way, it's, if you notice the entire reason, then everybody been like cool, Pascal, I mean.
So last three games, Siakam 30 and five.
Think the game winner too.
Then he had 15, six and five.
What was the second one?
So he had 30 points, five rebounds.
Game four, 15 and six.
Game five, 31 and five.
In the series clinching game six.
60 points into two big wins.
What did Tyrese have?
The last three games?
Triple, double, I think.
So Halliburton, in his last three games,
when they said his daddy could come to the game,
he had 32 points, 12 rebounds, 15 assists, and four steals.
Nobody ever had that stat line in the postseason.
Filed that up with eight points and six assists, game five and then six and four steals. Nobody ever had that stat line in the postseason. Filed that up with eight points and six assists.
Game five and then game six.
21, 13 assists, six rebounds, three steals and a block.
What's that, game five?
It's like game one though.
I know, I get it but fuck.
Yeah, man.
And the set to get here,
he hit every clutch shot to get to this point, though.
That's what I said.
I don't know.
Either way, it's not one of those where you can say,
like, damn, they fucked him over.
It's like, eh.
Like, OK.
Yeah, that's true.
If Pascal Siakam doesn't show up like you said he wouldn't,
are the Indiana Pacers here?
You said, who said he wouldn't?
It's a higher situation.
I'm just asking for a P.S.
Who said he wouldn't? You said, I said he wouldn't? I didn't ask. It's Tyrese. Don't show up neither, though. I'm just asking for Piaz. Who said he wouldn't?
You said I said he wouldn't?
Like he wouldn't show up.
Who said he said that?
The tagline said the most important.
I picked him.
So I said he's the most important out of all four teams.
All right.
Yeah, nice try, though.
So is he not the most important guy on the team?
Isn't he the number one option?
Yes.
Rick Carlisle has highlighted that the team don't move
without Siaka moving, because he's the centerpiece.
The Nash one, two MVP, you just talked about.
He got to move around.
Wait, hold on.
The centerpiece?
Because the centerpiece is the point guard.
The person.
The option.
The point guard needs an option.
And you said Steve Nash
was passing to you. He was passing to Amari Stoudemire, who was the what?
Number one option. Will you go to fight? So there can't be holla burden because
you need an option. Who's taking the last shot?
Whoever get it. Who's taking the last shot? Halleys taking a lot. It took all
of them so far, right? Mm-hmm and
one but
He had the ball in his hand
You know, it's a point. So it just reminds me of last year. It's this this year in last year is the same. Oh, yeah
Where the star player thought they wanted and they gave it to the other one
You know making for
great conversation for us to talk about that's not why they gave it to one
give him the shit just so happy you have great conversation nigga went out there
and bought out both the guys both Jalen Brown balled out but like you're
arguing we're agreeing with they both balled out Tate them balled out to the
point where you're saying that they got the they both balled out. Tatum balled out to the point where he thought he won it.
You're saying that they got the award for Saka conversation.
You just said it.
Yes.
You just said it.
Like are you trying to just argue?
If you want to argue, pick a side and I'll just pick the other side.
No, we ain't arguing about no side.
You just said that they were giving away the award for the Saka conversation.
He said that.
Yes, it's not a good conversation.
You're discrediting the niggas performance.
All right, can you rewind the video of Halleberg so we can all say we all thought the nigga
was gonna win.
So let's watch Halleberg during the Larry Bird.
So now we're having a conversation because if Halle wins it, we're not talking about
Siakam possibly winning it.
We're winning it because we thought this nigga wouldn't want it.
Jalen Brown didn't deserve it.
Jesus Christ. How he hugging people, adapting up.
Nobody's disagreeing that Pascal Watt and that MVP.
Take your phone off.
Pascal Siaco.
He's stepping up.
He's not surprised.
Niggas is packable.
Let's do it again.
He's not surprised.
Let's do it again.
Meanwhile, Spicy Peas is rubbing his beard.
There you go.
He know right now.
How we don't need to hear you talk.
Right there, he know.
I'm watching. Let's do it again. Meanwhile, spicy peeps is rubbing his beard. Let's show it to him.
He know right now.
Right there, he know.
He know.
You see that?
Keep going.
See the hand over the face?
You ever did that?
He's taking a picture.
He's taking a picture.
The whole camera's on him. Let's go again.
He's right there, right there.
And he stepped up.
The dude on the, the dude on the what's-it-name.
They thought he won.
Let's, let's, handshake on his head, on the, on the shoulder.
Back up.
To the left.
Oh, you're about to win.
Oh, no.
They didn't win him.
So Yalcombe's not surprised.
Of course he's not.
I mean, he don't care.
It don't matter.
I'm decapting now.
He got that little, like, they about to get this shit.
So it's great.
You know that?
Like, he's like, I'm going to win.
I'm going to win. I'm going to win. I'm going not surprised. Of course he's not. I mean, he don't care. It don't matter.
I'm decapting now.
He got that little like, they about to shoot his shit.
You know that?
This nigga about to win.
It's all good.
It's great for conversation, because we're having
a conversation about it.
But are we surprised?
No, he played very well.
At least they didn't embarrass Hallenberg
like they did Tatum last year, where after they picked
Jalen, hey Tatum, so how do you feel about winning the championship?
Remember they did that shit last year.
They went straight to him.
Yeah, they went straight to him.
Like, ooh, that's embarrassing.
I don't think Halliburton did not speak in that.
He didn't?
I think Miles Turner.
So Halle didn't speak here?
I don't think Halle spoke in the post game.
It was hot. No, it was hot. Congratulations, Pascal. So how did you speak it the highly spoke spoken the post
No, it's hot. Congratulations. Pat Myles Turner, the longest tenured.
Congratulations.
I got my recall in nice tribute to the conversation though.
This I'm talking about congratulations to him not for this conversation because he willed him to that.
It is a good conversation to see.
So Mr. B, when Tatum didn't win last year, you questioned his stature amongst Celtics
greats.
How does Halle not winning this year impact his stature amongst the greatest paces of
all time?
Reggie Miller comes to mind at the forefront, but we did help this team
Well, he got four more games
Okay, he got one more let's see he got one more more to you. Good one. Good one. Good ducky. You learned it.
Win the one.
The most unrated superstar in Indiana Pacers history.
No, that's not a conversation we should have.
Shout out to Halliburton.
I'm just messing around.
Shout out to Halliburton.
That's the best thing real.
The way Howie performed throughout this playoff.
The way Howie performed this Easter Conference Fin finals minus that one dud game
Reason to believe that he should have been the Easter conference finals MVP spicy p3 30-point games
Doesn't take away the conversation of one of the top point guards in the league or any of that because he deserves all that I
Mean cuz I feel like say say Steve Nash and say Steve Nash and Amari Saddam or they were playing playing in a
Right and Amari average more. I'm sure he would probably get it, right?
In the Western Conference.
Because he would probably average 30 and 12.
Yeah. Like, you know, just because he...
It's difficult because it's...
Both have arguments for it.
When you have a point guard that's doing what he's doing,
averaging a damn double-double, 20 and 11,
then your shooting guard is 25 file and playing defense
I mean they both are how the youngest player to have a 20 and 10 assist
I even they said no turn over even if they said co-nvp. I'm like, oh that was smart
Yeah, nine voters. So it'd be no what I'm saying. I don't give a fuck. I would have voted half
More if you think that's why they do it, put it nine so it forces you to pick.
More people I feel like, more people feel like this year as far as the toss up, like they didn't really, like it's all right, whoever it goes.
But last year, I feel like it was more like damn, like you know, like to people because of Jalen Brown getting it.
So, so.
There was no narrative. If you listen to it, there was no narrative pushing it down.
It was more, it was way more conversation about the negative about Jalen Brown.
Compared to like with this one, Siakam.
It's more like, okay, well they both did it.
Like when Jalen won the Eastern Conference, when no one said anything.
Yeah, when he won the Eastern Conference, nobody said anything.
Because he didn't make the all NBA team.
We didn't care as much about that trophy as we did the final game.
Because he didn't make the all NBA team.
So the narrative is like he's going to come out, be mad, be aggressive,
and he's going to win this mad be aggressive and he gonna win this
So when he won the Easter, I feel like I feel like more people feel like Tatum was gonna just sweep it
To me from the Eastern Conference playoff still the fun
I thought there's gonna be a like I feel like last year a way more conversation
But if you listen, if you'd have been listening to the commentators during it during that series you're gonna be like, yeah
They didn't like I don't know who the lady, but she didn't like to hit him at all.
I'm going to fuck what he did.
Man, both sides of that flow, man.
I'm telling you, I just feel like if you, that defense, man.
That's why I said this should just put it down so at least
you can educate the fans on what their whims were.
What your reasoning is.
But would the fans care if you're not telling them
what they want to hear?
Yeah, but it's still something.
I've never seen Howie Gard Brunson.
And the expectation is that the star player should get the fucking award regardless of how he plays
That's it period and that's what we've been talking about. He the best player. Why can't he get it?
He played decent enough. He hit his averages. He should get it, right?
So the other guys will never get acknowledged based on the expectation of the star player and how he plays
Even if they do more impactful shit,
it will get overlooked because he's the star.
Siakam was an all-star this year though.
So now what they're doing is rewarding the guys
who are the impact players in those moments,
in those series.
That was Jalen Brown.
Whether you watching it or not,
you felt the difference when he played a certain way.
And they showed in the performances.
No mustache should have been up there then too.
I thought he had a potential to,
but he didn't score enough.
He didn't score enough.
Tim Beard.
If he would have gotten 20 and something.
That first game changed the series too though.
He was a game changer.
He had many threes he hit that last.
I think five in the fourth quarter, remember second?
That's shit.
Halle may not have won the Eastern Conference Finals MVP,
but him and Miles Turner were
both in the running for petty MVP after the game.
Nixon-Pasher's rivalry dates back decades.
Both Halle and Turner went to social media to take a victory lap.
So after the BR account posted a video, Halle dressed in all black while carrying a duffel
bag in his route for the game.
We showed that earlier.
Longtime Knicks fan Ben Stiller quoted the tweet saying, good thing he brought his duffel
bag for the flight to NY.
After the Knicks were eliminated,
Halle clapped back by quoting Stiller's tweet
and responding with the following.
Said, nah, was to pack it y'all up.
Good job Tyrese.
He also posted another video mocking Knicks fans,
street celebrations with his
Eastern Conference Finals highlights,
over 50 cents, I run New York track. miles Turner also joined in on the trolling posting a clip from Family Guy on his IG carousel with the
Caption the story writes itself here is a pic of that
So I'm gonna piss away 20 20 grand. We're gonna do bet on the Knicks
Shout out miles Turner see now starting doing shit like this and as a bonus
Take a look at Caitlin Clark doing Brunson's three-point selling the crowd during game six as she was supporting the Pacers as I mentioned
Paces undefeated with Caitlin Clark in the building. He will do the Brunson
in the building throwing up neighborhood

going to be good for the future.
Put them out two years in a row.
You know?
Yeah.
One game seven, one six.
I don't know about they believe y'all hating ass niggas.
Y'all been waiting for us to lose this whole time.
Who be all that sentimental nice guy shit?
What the fuck was that just now?
Man, Bucks in seven, right?
I'm not Bucks in six.
Blazers in 12, right?
Y'all niggas gonna be changing up, man.
No, no, no, we ain't changing up.
We all going to be changing up.
We all going to be changing up.
We all going to be changing up.
We all going to be changing up.
We all going to be changing up. We all going to be changing up. We all going to be changing up. We all going to be changing up. We all going to be changing up. that just now. How the hell I had it? Bucks in seven, right? I'm a little happy. Blazers in 12, right?
Y'all niggas gonna be changing up.
No, no, no, we are changing up.
We all going to Cancun together now.
So matter of fact, where's my villa at?
Bro, we on the way.
Listen, we've been in Cancun too long.
I'm getting after Villa.
I'll be in Cancun.
Set it up.
He made it his birthday.
Yeah, y'all been there too long.
Yeah, I get it, I get it.
But the party just got here, God damn it. We just got here
We've been here for damn their do we?
Don't be telling us you can try to give a speech about how you be about to leave. We've been here too long
We just getting here And I mean
Cha-cha you gotta go from the letter we need to talk to drew Hamlin so he could put us in the group chain So we can all here we go who gonna get MVP and win next year. Yeah, I was I was like a applicants boy
Hmm, I seen that boat. I jumped on it. Come on Indiana. See I read the OKC
I see the boat going at Pacers and okay. See I jump right on it. Where that boat going? Huh? Where that boat going?
Where's it going now to the finals?
What's to you know to the finals? Huh?
Oklahoma Huh, where that boat going where they're going now to the finals. Let's see, you know, turn the finals, huh? huh
Oklahoma
I'm gonna do
Oklahoma in five. Yeah, you guys the thunder a zero percent chance
Huh, I gave the thunder a zero percent chance of winning the NBA finals. We did I gave them a zero percent chance
I asked you to reconsider when
Lake is doing this. Oh, they're doing it in the end. I don't give a fuck about how they do any day I asked you to reconsider when
How they do any day they got me to where I need you to go now I'm jumping off ship
I'm going okay. See you feel so you know they did the job that makes you everybody off this
So let's talk about the best thing about jumping ship. I do not
The boat that they had, they didn't have enough.
You're weak on your toes.
They didn't have no fans.
You need to do your calf raises.
They didn't have no fans.
Weak on your toes.
Weak on your toes.
They put all these people into that whole silo.
It's fantastic.
Everybody that's on the side.
They both, they ain't.
Jump to the brats.
Pan hoes.
Yeah, they had the boat.
I'm a Little League champion.
They had the boat, and I jumped right on the boat.
Like, oh man, y'all ain't got nobody on here.
I root for y'all.
So you are the captain now, but.
This be one of the greatest rooms, though.
Pacers have seven players, average double figures,
regular season, have five doing it in the playoffs
with Mathern just missing the threshold.
9.9 points per game.
Indiana had one all-star this year at Siakam,
no all-NBA, or one all-NBA selection in Halley,
who made the third team.
Similarly, Thunder also rely heavily on their supporting
cast, utilizing at least a 10-man rotation
throughout this postseason. Miles Turner spent his entire career with the Pacers
had this to say about what makes Indiana and OKC successful. I think it's a new
blueprint for the league man I just um you know the I think the years of the
super teams and you know stacking is just not it's not as effective as it
once was you know I mean this NBA since I've been a league you know this NBA is very trendy you know just shifts but the new trend now is just not as effective as it once was. You know what I mean? As NBA, since I've been in the league,
this NBA is very trendy, just shifts.
But the new trend now is just kind of what we're doing.
OKC does the same thing.
Young guys get out and run, defend,
and use the power of friendship is how they call it.
We got to give Miles starting our shout out.
He's been to the entire career with the Pets.
He's been the subject of multiple trade rumors
throughout this time in Indiana.
Now he gets to help the team reach their second finals
in franchise history.
So Thunder's Pacers NBA Finals ain't breaking
no viewership records with both teams
hailing from small markets.
Indiana, Oklahoma City may represent the 22nd and 26th
ranked NBA media markets, but they both play
an entertaining fast-paced style
that isn't relying on jacking up threes.
So how excited are you for this Thunder Pacers NBA finals?
I'm excited.
You can see it on my face.
Yeah you know we don't have we don't watch it.
It's going to be the only thing on TV.
So you know most of of us gonna watch it.
But,
it's gonna be good though.
I'm excited.
I'm fucking excited.
You're not a real basketball fan if you're not excited.
I'm fucking excited.
For the Patriots and the Thurman.
You gotta beat the best of them.
You don't like hoop.
That's fucking good basketball about to come
and go see two good basketball about the government. Go see good to good.
You don't like whoop against each other and guard and defend
and shoot good shots and foul bait and flop and shoot threes
and shoot more threes.
A lot of meetings and replace it.
They're going to see a lot of replays.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And white women is a lot of white. What a lot of middies. And replace it. We're going to see a lot of replays. Yeah.
And white women.
A lot of white women.
What?
A lot of replays.
I'm going to the finals.
You are not a real hoop fan.
If y'all watch Denver versus Miami finals, y'all can watch this.
Yeah, we could.
We're going to watch it.
Joker versus Jimmy.
You're going to watch it.
The crowd is going to be loud. Very loud. I'm gonna finally meet Caitlyn. Celebrity heavy.
I'm gonna finally meet Caitlyn. John Cougar, Melon K. I'm going to get them courts. I think for me,
I'm finally gonna meet Caitlyn. Your pass is gonna connect with Caitlyn Clark. Crippin' Caitlyn
as she's now known after throwing up. Money making sunny. I think for me for the finals, I think that
you know the point guard matchup SGA versus Highly, you got two teams
that play at a high pace.
You got one of the Indiana, they have one of the best paces
in the league.
And then you got SGA, the youngest,
so they just get up and down on the floor.
So I think it's going to be exciting.
I know it's not a big market, but I just
think it's going to be high scoring.
You know, I just, but I do think, you know, when, if the Pacers, you know, they get in
that half court situation, it's going to be, it's going to be very difficult for them.
Like this ain't, you know, this ain't the next you're planning it.
It's the league's top ranked defense.
It's the number one, you know, it's the number one defense in the NBA.
You know, you could throw Luke Dort, you could throw.
What does Indiana like in defense?
They were like 14 during the regular season.
It's going to get a little up there.
Defense are ready.
OK, see, they could get that like Seattle
Super Sonics feel to the NBA.
You know, they win, they got the type of players.
People like Shane, he could do it all in one year.
That'd be good for the league.
All these old motherfuckers trying to trade and look ass.
You need some new spirit, new juice flowing.
You know, out of that big old shit.
The old juice not working.
Yeah, that old shit ain't working no more, man.
New juice.
New generation. These kids love Shay too, so.
The streets do love Shay.
And it's exposing the big three.
Just drop this shit. Just drop this shit.
It's exposing the big three to me.
Yeah.
One of them big three superstars you want to combine.
That don't mean nothing. Just get you two guys, some solid pieces,
and you'll be all right.
Like the Suns.
So let's get to that.
What Miles Turner said about OKC Indiana
both having the blueprint for how the league is shifting.
So are the Patrons of Thunder showing the league
the blueprint for having the perfect mix of star power
along with the solid supporting cast?
No.
No.
No, because next year, I mean, in the summertime,
you know what time it is.
I mean, the Lakers, Boston, New York, they getting somebody.
So it's always going to go back to those big markets.
Is that somebody going to be enough to elevate those things?
Yeah, right?
It don't matter.
I feel like it's good for this year.
That's nice.
It's good for the league.
You still got to go back to the big markets, though.
Come on now. Nah, the last five years, all of the big teams
have made the big three moves, have not made it.
Lakers made it one time, but they didn't even have a big.
Boston.
They didn't have a big three.
Boston.
Boston what?
Boston, they're homegrown.
They're big three, big four.
They're homegrown.
They're bringing in two guys. They were homegrown. They're bringing in two All-Stars. They're homegrown. They're big three, big four. They're homegrown. They're bringing in two guys. They were homegrown.
And they're bringing in two All-Stars.
They're homegrown.
They're bringing in two All-Stars.
So outside of that, this is Boston last year.
Some of the last five years, we've been watching Big Three shit crash and burn.
For sure.
And we've been watching Houston develop.
We've been watching OKC develop.
We've been watching Minnesota develop.
We've been watching a lot of teams get
little pieces here and there. Chicago turning into one of them teams too.
That's a big market yeah. Shout out to the good. So we're looking like he said
the blueprint is when you talking about winning basketball. Okay. One superstar
like a Jokic, Ayanis, Shea, and have them core pieces around. They understand
they understand how to make and maximize that superstar.
I think it's-
Thunder, two NBA players, obviously the MVP and SGA also.
Jalen Williams, who was also all defensive selector.
Coach and this, chemistry.
Siakam was an all star. Siakam was an all star.
Siakam and Halliburton.
Halliburton was an all NBA selector.
Oh man, it's about an even matchup right now.
Chemistry too, that chemistry, that trust in your teammate.
Blueprint means it's something that's happened, right?
So if they lose 4-1.
But also you have the human in the thunder as well.
Yeah, that's going to do the same thing, though.
They're two All-Stars.
And they got Chet, who's like damn near a big three.
But they got other players that just
Chet likes Jamaican football, too.
I'm just saying, I mean, OK'm just saying I mean OKC can stand on OKC can stand
um right they're they're they're they're a great team. Indiana like
okay big big threes went down it's not like the big threes played and failed they all went down.
and failed, they all went down. That's failure.
Bucks, Dane went down.
They didn't beat them.
He went down.
He got injured.
They didn't beat them.
Right?
Cleveland, they went down.
They did not beat them.
They didn't beat them in a series.
They went down in that series.
Boston, Knicks, they went down in that series Boston Knicks they went down
someone went down stay healthy so you're not you're not you're not beating
through these you're not going through the tyrants beating them like they beat
them twice in the garden or in TD garden yes but you'd what I'm saying you
didn't beat him for the series that was that team this is not a real argument
because he's gonna have to use a hypothetical And they were gonna win game four whether or not You're gonna have to use a hypothetical to get out of that
What the fuck about using a hypothetical when I'm saying exactly what happened?
Because that doesn't matter
No it doesn't matter whether that
I don't give a fuck about them getting injured
They got injured that's up to them
Hey listen
Guys who stay healthy
Guys who stay healthy
They be Cleveland with all they players
No Everyone had a total injury they missed a game like it wasn't a healthy team. At what
point do we all have a perfect fucking playoffs where everybody's fucking healthy so we can
not say oh everybody was there and they all played together and they beat us fair and
square. What the fuck are we talking about? So for me to say something is a blueprint.
To filter dynasty off injuries. So one advice, if I'm saying this is a blueprint for moving the future and it hasn't been, how do I know
how good this blueprint is?
If the road has been.
Well, the Thunder top team.
What?
I'm talking about, who said it?
The Pacers said it.
But he referenced both teams.
The Pacers said it.
The Pacers player referenced both teams. Okay, see and the Pacers said it? But he referenced both teams. The Pacers said it.
Okay, see the Pacers are two different teams.
One actually one get they beat people.
We got back to the same place we're in right now.
What are you talking about?
Stop talking about fucking argue with me dog.
We are here to argue.
I'm not here to argue.
So what is your point?
Okay, thank you.
Pacers what Pacers said. I'm not good. I'm good. So what are you? So what is your point? Okay. Thank you
Pacers what Pacers said this is a blueprint. I that is not a blueprint for anybody
Every your old the best players on that road was not there. They got injured
Okay, see if Shay would have said this no problem because y'all beat the fuck out of everybody you played
Everybody was healthy during your journey. So your blueprint, cool. And he has got that twice.
I don't want Pacers, I'm going off of what Miles said.
What Miles said, that is not a blueprint to me
because y'all are not proven like that.
Two straight Eastern Conference Finals appearance.
I'm talking about the blueprint that he's talking about.
That is not a blueprint.
He's talking about the blueprint of getting
to the Eastern Conference Finals two years in a row.
Aaron Gordon, Hamstring Adrian. He's not, okay, who talking about the blueprint of getting to the Instacoffice finals two years in a row. Aaron Gordon, Hamstring, Andrew.
He's not, okay, who did they play last year?
What the fuck are we talking?
Who did they play?
Who did Places play last year?
They played the Boston Celtics.
Huh?
Boston.
No, no, no, the first round.
Milwaukee again, right?
They in New York?
Milwaukee, New York.
Milwaukee last year, right?
Was the whole team there?
Okay, move on. You played with play with the funny. Does that matter?
What's everybody healthy?
Okay, if we want to say no what okay see you say okay see
This is a blueprint for
Everybody's been hurt. I don't know
I can't say I'm gonna follow that if I'm a general manager because everybody doesn't play the best players is hurt
Okay, see if Shay would have said that a brother that that's a blueprint
I want to follow New York was whooping boss. They had everybody though
So are you under giving the blueprint? It's hard to say it
The thunder and the faces
Thunder in the face
Addressing what he said on his side the power
Okay, see side they been playing against each other.
He's saying the same thing, Gilbert.
You are going in circles for no reason.
I don't even know where you're trying to argue.
You're saying Indiana is not the blueprint,
but OKC is, and he's saying that both of them
are the same blueprint.
So how is it that you go in a circle just to disagree?
The Pacers are the blueprint because OKC is the blueprint.
They both are the blueprint. The power of friendship. That's it. Friendship, team chemistry,
camaraderie. That's what he just explained all that shit. That's why they back to back. It don't
got nothing to do with injuries or none of that shit. It has everything to do with camaraderie,
chemistry, execution, play hard, play smart, play together. That's Indiana basketball that has become OKC basketball.
That's going to become a lot of other teams too,
because they're seeing, if you see that,
all that ISO sit, all that two, three, four superstars,
everybody not touching the ball.
Nobody's moving and they don't want to play defense
because they're not touching the ball.
Let's change up the blueprint. Rick Carlisle's brilliant.
Is it Dagnoff? Mark Dagnoff.
Dagnoff brilliant.
They took the college resume
and they turned it upside down
and said we would play like this.
They've been doing that, though,
because that was similar to that, too, though.
Rick Carlisle's smart.
Yeah.
All right, well, let's keep this thing moving.
You see how I shut the fuck up when you talk?
There's nothing else to say after I talk. No, I let you talk? There's nothing else to say after I talk.
No, I let you talk.
There's nothing else to say.
But you see how I let you explain everything you're trying to say.
I don't jump in and out of your conversation when you're trying.
I let you explain everything you had to say.
Go ahead.
I don't need nothing to say.
Okay.
I told you I'm not arguing.
You just said all that to not say nothing?
Ladies, it is Swaggy Pete's birthday.
I told you I don't need to argue with you, dog. You just pick arguments just to pick arguments.
My mother's fucking is crazy.
This is crazy.
Why you crazy?
What do we need to stop here?
Hey, we're here to talk.
I thought it was just supposed to be a debate show.
Stop everybody.
We're just saying a debate.
Do you know what else is crazy?
We've been debating for two years.
When did it stop?
Do you know what else is crazy?
We've been arguing for two and a half years.
No, you've been arguing.
When did we stop? When did we stop arguing?
We built a whole platform on niggas coming out here to argue with us.
We have healthy basketball discussion.
Good shots. Good thing.
We're getting shots for Swaggy P's 40th birthday.
This is 40 Swaggy. This is what you guys pay your 40th.

So we asked the chat, should NBA teams mimic the Pacers and the Thunder?
That is a question that we asked the chat.
58% of the chat said yes.
And we also asked the chat, is the power of friendship a real thing?
80% of the chat believes is the power of friendship a real thing? 80% of the chat believes in the power of friendship.
It is united in this tower.
We are all friends on this couch.
It do help the power of friendship.
So let's talk about the power of getting eliminated
and what it's going to have on the next.
Give it to me.
You don't know him yet.
Remember the shit when D-Way was guarding me?
You called the ISO for me.
You like, you don't know him yet, D-Way.
I felt like I wanted to do some shit.
So I ended up doing it.
Did you end up doing it?
Yeah.
But did you end up back at the door?
Hell yeah.
Like 20 something.
I hit him with the movies.
He said, you going to do my move on me?
You going to do my own move on me?
I said, what you mean?
I said, everybody move, I thought.
That move belongs to this thing?
It came down split.
What you hitting with?
Dunked that shit on Javel.
I felt so bad for him.
There's nothing I can do.
Javel, a casualty award.
So after getting eliminated by the Pacers,
second round last season,
Knicks made some major moves this past offseason
re-signing Jaylen Brunson and OJ Ananobe,
training for Mikhail Bridges and Kat,
reap the benefits with their first conference finals appearance in 25 years,
but many feel that wasn't enough. So after the game,
Jaylen Brunson was asked how confident he was the Knicks could take the next
step. And he had this response,
the most confidence, um,
overconfident seriously. I,
I don't, there's not an ounce of any type of
doubt that I'm not confident with this group. I don't, there's not an ounce of any type of doubt
that I'm not confident with this group.
So, Shad is our longest tenure Knicks fan on the couch. Do you share Brunson's confidence in this Knicks squad
being able to take the next step
with the bulk of this roster staying intact?
If you've got your knee right.
Well, while they were playing,
the whole notion of the Yanis thing was brought
and I dismissed it.
And that's because I wasn't trying to hear that shit
while we was trying to go get the chip.
You were not trying to hear Yanis in the Knicks
while you were in your quest for a championship.
We can entertain all of that shit right now.
But that is an entertainer role.
God damn, Louie.
The cat can go.
I can come.
Well, they probably won't, but I mean, there's a lot needed.
I wouldn't mind refurbishing some shit around, getting some new understanding around what
Brunson want to do and what Kat can do and all the other intangibles.
It'd be dope to see.
They could add a couple more pieces, like a more McBrides in different sizes that they
can find if that even exists, but it is up, it's up.
It's, it's, it's look good for him,
but I'm not, I don't know if I'm gonna pick him next year.
So you don't know if you're gonna stay with it?
I don't know yet, I'm on the fence.
You got free agency coming up?
Yeah.
Some difficult decisions to make.
I'll figure it out, Steve.
Steve don't.
They got the team, you know.
Yeah, yeah. So Mr. B. Just figure it out, you know what I'm B figured out go to Cancun figure it out
You heard you heard the brunch is that he has confidence in this squat
Yeah, reach their first Eastern Conference finals in the past 25 years
I was not enough to advance to the NBA finals. How much confidence you have in this Nick squad being able to take the next step
Well first I know everybody keeps saying that the Knicks
need to try to go after Giannis.
But to me, in reality, I don't think
they have the pieces and the picks to try to get him.
I think they should go get a new coach, a real New Yorker
like Mike Malone, somebody who can.
He's coached Jokic before.
So if you can get Kat to be a poor man's Jokic, at least,
with Brunson playing inside out and just get some shooters
around him, I think they have a better chance.
But they definitely need to get a new coach, though.
We're going to talk to him in just a moment.
But let's shift over to Swaggy.
How much confidence do you have in this Knicks
squad being able to take the next step?
Jalen Brunton, very confident.
I think they, I think they, I'm confident for sure.
I think they just had a miss naps that got too high
on beating Boston and thought Indiana probably
was just like a cakewalk and it was too late
for them to catch up.
And after that game one, it was,
take the air out of you a little bit.
And for Tibbs, I think it was probably an eye-opener,
game five, playing different players.
I think he gotta mix it up
or y'all gonna get a new coach, I think.
Because you gotta have trust in some of your players.
Like some that came in for them guys to be ready still
after not playing fucking, I don't know how long it's been since D-Wright brother and also D-Wright
yeah him and Summit to get in the game it take it take people to talk crazy and
for you to open your eyes just a little bit, you know, so.
You think that you think they respect them?
Respect his?
It feels like he lost them a little.
Yeah, a little bit, a little bit for sure, for sure.
Because you can see when he over there.
He's gonna bring his dad in, bring Brunson's dad in.
That's what I thought too.
Go get Mike Malone, man.
Go get a real good doctor.
I think Mike is priming for it.
I think they would prep him for it.
Cause he can get them guys to play differently.
I mean, cause they are a good team.
Like it's not like they're not a good team.
So that's what I'm saying.
If you just add some pieces with Brunson
and add some real structure.
So they can play inside out.
Cause they not doing the pick and roll at all.
They not doing the pick and roll between them two. Because they not doing the picking role at all. They not doing the picking role between them two.
Like they need to, like the joker, Jamal Murray
joker picking role.
Or a little bit.
We'll get another ball hammer.
Six man, go get it.
Crawford, that's in the Jamal.
Jordan Crawford.
The ball hammer.
So Gil, I heard what Brunson said.
Do you share his opinion in having confidence in the squad
to be able to take the next step?
Or is it time to tell some people to move around?
They're
They're a piece of way
Discipline, I mean just they need to clean up a lot of you know bad habits that they do have
Obviously not getting back on defense silly fouls. Understand shot selection is a big thing for you
know some of those players. They could upgrade in a few of those spots to make
it a more balanced team. You know they got to figure out if you're going to have Brunson as the lead dog, you're going to need a better shooting guard that can just flat out shoot.
That can just just flat out catch and shoot to relieve pressure.
Or a really big two guard that can go both both ways. He can play point, he can play two.
But they're right there. They don't need to do anything drastic.
Like break the whole team up, get rid of.
Kat and Mikael or something like that.
If you're gonna get rid of one to bring one in.
So what if the option to get Yanis presented itself?
It all depends on what I'm losing for him.
Yeah.
You gotta imagine Kat, OG. Kat I'm a boy, I'm not.
Kat, Kat and OG.
What if he asks out?
Plus more.
Huh?
If he's asking out.
If he's asking out, then that's out of my hands.
But if he ain't asking out.
Yeah, we're not trying to move him if he not asking out.
Yeah, yeah, I mean, I don't, is he asking out?
He's asking out.
He just bought a house.
If he's asking out, what do we do?
He just bought a house out there in New York.
I mean, it'll probably be a three-team trade to get the
He just bought a house in New York.
I ain't hear that.
It was $9 million.
He just bought it over there.
I ain't hear that.
So the team ain't out of house.
He just bought it over there.
They got OG at the three?
No.
OG's at the four, Cat's at the three.
Oh, you give up OG?
You give up OG?
That's 200 on the book? 200 on the books for OG I mean it would
likely take another thing the team cuz we need something I'm not giving up
Yanis for them for that OG oh gee I need some cat. I gotta get cat. That's not enough at all.
It's still required at least one more guy to get the sufficient pay.
That is enough. On the books it is.
It's gonna take one more guy to get sufficient pay.
Then it's pointless.
I'm gonna need some pay because we lose too much. New York lose too much.
Bronson and Yannis is good enough.
With Bridges?
Not with that same coach. You're going to need a different coach with that.
Yeah, Mike Malone.
I'm not mad.
So you get Mike Malone, you get your giveaway cat in OG.
You're getting somebody that's like a.
Giannis is graphic.
Well, like a Dame in his prime, though.
No, it's not.
And more aggressive.
Quick shooting versus pounding the ball
is two different styles of basketball.
I think that's what Yannis needs.
He needs somebody that could...
He had trouble with Dame.
And Dame is just pick and roll shot, pick and roll pass.
So you got a guy who's just gonna sit here and do this.
Nah, but Dame is more efficient.
He's more efficient than Dame.
See, but that's the difference.
Because if Dame hits in that shot, Yannis is mad.
He gotta hit that shot. It's not a lights in that shot, Yannis is mad. I don't like Brunson. He got to hit that shot.
It's not a Brunson.
Brunson and Yannis is not.
No, we're going to need a point guard or somebody
to come in there.
What do you mean?
Brunson and Yannis look like Brunson and Randall.
Brunson and Randall was solid.
See, but Brunson.
Yeah, but Randall's an iso player.
But that's Yannis.
Yannis is too.
But he could shoot the three, though.
Randall.
You know? That could add more range for it.
But you got somebody who's constantly going to be driving off the field.
They are getting six men a year.
We both driving.
You got to get Jamal Crawford over there or something like that.
Like a six man, because they need a bench.
They need another ball hand.
A scorer though, somebody who can get a bucket like a go get Buddy too. I'll go get Buddy. Go get Buddy Hill. For sure. I was thinking like a Malik monk or
Buddy Hill type. Yeah like you need a bucket. They, you throw me might make so buddy from Berkeley cam cam
That's what you said. I thought you was on no not a light skinned dude can't can't with okay?
I'm Thomas Kim Thomas. Yeah, I thought you said the cam Johnson. No, no cam
Definitely off the bench so nasty
nasty. Shoot.
Shoot it.
He can start.
He can start.
He can start.
He will start at the two.
I'll start at the two.
He can start for hard.
Yeah, he have his 20 right now.
Right now.
So let's go back to a conversation.
40% three, two, shit.
That we had last year when the Knicks found themselves
in a similar situation caused a lot of controversy.
But can the Knicks be a true championship contender
with Jalen Brunson as their number one option?
contender with Jalen Brunson as their number one option?
Can the Knicks be a true championship contender? Jalen Brunson as their number one.
A lot of talk about small guards being the guy.
I see Isaiah Thomas.
Becky Hammond caught a lot of flack last year.
Saying the Knicks need a dude.
Are we not contenders right now?
How about to say they've been contenders the last two years?
Well, contenders? For the title? about to say they've been contenders the last two years. Well, debate them.
He's in conference finals, is that what you want?
You talking about contending?
You talking about contending for a title?
They beat themselves, bro.
I think they next competed for a title.
They were competing for a title.
That's it.
I hear you, Steve. I was so happy. I was so happy. I was so happy. I was so happy.
I was so happy.
I was so happy.
I was so happy.
I was so happy.
I was so happy.
I was so happy.
I was so happy.
I was so happy.
I was so happy.
I was so happy.
I was so happy.
I was so happy.
I was so happy.
I was so happy.
I was so happy.
I was so happy.
I was so happy.
I was so happy.
I was so happy.
I was so happy. I was so happy. I was so happy a possibility of winning it. I think
No, no, no, no when Miami made it no matter what year they made it they had no possibility I don't know that yeah, you there anything can happen anything happen now
I believe anything if I'm here anything can happen when I got to the finals against Lakers. He won game one
Everybody was like oh shit. That's what I did what happened the next four. Yeah, we knew that was sweet. Hey Brandon. That's what I say when you get this
They we got this far miles will win it got this got all the way here. Oh
I'm just saying I don't know anybody that goes to get to the championship and just like no we got no chance like no
I know they no one says that
We watch and we were looking at like, okay, yeah, Indiana has no chance of winning.
They will need niggas to get injured.
But shit like that happen.
Like, you know what I'm saying is, for them,
like, when you say have a chance,
that means if both teams are healthy,
do Indiana have a chance?
Or does Shay and Jaylen need to get hurt for them to have a chance?
But we won't know until they actually match up
where both teams is completely healthy.
And we can say they lined up and they beat them.
I got to see it.
I mean, you got to see.
I come that's been there before.
I picked New York because of that.
You got like, I don't know, man.
I picked it because I ain't want to argue.
I remember that.
So we have healthy basketball just to compare.
I'm just saying, I didn't think they could beat New York.
They surprised me a little bit. You didn't think they could beat New York. They surprised me a little bit.
You didn't think Indiana could beat New York?
I didn't think they had a, yeah.
So do you feel like this next squad is a...
I was worried too.
It was a tosser.
Yeah, after how they did it, after how they beat Boston, I thought it was going to be a tosser.
I felt like because New York had Brunson, which they had a number one option, and then
Cat, which they had a, you know, he was a true number two.
And then Indiana, I I was more like well shit
They play like a team and guys are in double figures of scoring they could get a chance
But I had I didn't really think any animals gonna get them. I watched it from
They see you go with it. I wish it from I watched it from that perspective. Okay see right look how they was guarding
And it was right. Mm-hmm. They was allowing everything against and look how they guarded Jalen Brunson.
They was allowing everything against him.
The question is are they going to allow everything against SGA?
Right. Is Andeanah going to be able to push up like they was against Brunson?
They're going to be able to do that to SGA and then is they going to allow the
Thunder to play aggressive like that?
They will somebody going to give up some fouls because they both aggressive teams
They were looking at it from that
Fuck they were fucking him up aggressive on him. It was doing the same thing in the brush
He was he but this is a no. I'm going I'm a though Caruso
I'm a throw Caruso and I'm a throw dork at a highly and just go back and forth
But you got four options for him. Yeah, you got four. I mean, yeah I'm still got siakam. Yeah, that's fine. And then and then chat and then chat and all them
Yeah, I have chat. You know all them they go ahead and you can go Dort on chat
I know if I say I'm gonna get one just to make it
I'll be honest
Smarter than what he looks and I think he can take you right to the house. Oh my it's like
Just like he did in my
Clip it you know what?
Pacers who he had though. Hey, I hope y'all clip he had dirt
Yeah
I'm going to play hard.
And they tear up when they have to.
Can you just say that?
This team reminds him of his team, right?
When they went to the finals.
And what was their biggest struggles in the finals?
They couldn't play in the half court.
They couldn't guard shot.
Yep. They slow down.
Yeah. So that so so when King was saying that this team reminds them,
I do I do agree with that
They do remind me of them because in the half court and I think that's gonna be their struggles in the finals the half court
No, no, okay. They're not like King is yeah. No, okay. The fast break is like yes half court
KCM couldn't shoot the ball. Yeah, and they just didn't shoot the ball at all
Right. It wasn't that they was Right, they was strictly fast break team.
Right, they didn't really have outside shooting.
Indiana, they can shoot from outside.
So they can swing the ball around like,
they only had Lucius or Kerry when they both was in or out.
But so for the most part, you just sat in the lane,
and then you just tagged everybody because they was
Princeton offense so basically the Prince office you pass and cut
Mm-hmm, you can play a two three damn there
If you were smart if you was a smart big you can play it you can play a real two three
Yeah, and don't leave the lane because all it was was tag
And stay so basically someone was cutting every time so there was somebody's come to the middle
So all you had it goes here. So there was somebody that's come through the middle. Saw your head, it goes here. Two and a half, somebody else
was coming. So it was, they were easier to guard if you got them in a half court.
Now the problem was just getting them motherfuckers in a half court was the
problem. Yeah, damn. Yeah. Yeah, just getting them in a half court was the problem.
But Indiana has, they have better shooters. So if they start hitting shots, you had to go out.
I don't give a fuck how many shots Jason Kidd got.
I don't give a fuck how many three Jason Kidd,
we gonna sit in this lane still.
Mm.
Yeah.
Both sides got shooters though.
They do have rooters.
Both sides got sharpshooters.
I don't know, okay, see he got a little bit more.
They don't play they sharpshooters together though.
They got Joe, Wallace, Wiggins, they all hit.
They all hit.
I think this is when it's going to come down
to that number one option.
And he knows he the number one option.
And SGA.
Yes, SGA knows he's the MVP.
And Jalen Williams, the way he's been playing.
But they don't got nobody to load up on now.
They actually have to play defense where they're moving
and not loading and tagging and doing what they
were doing against Ant Man.
It's a different, it's going to be
a different style of basketball.
Got to guard Pascal.
And it's five out.
Indiana plays five out.
So Turner is going to be on the perimeter.
Who? Who? Shea. Shea. Shea is going to be on the perimeter who who say as you
It's gonna be on Pascal. He said
But that's pulling hardest on all the way out and now y'all got to open the gotta open it up for the pick and roll with
Luke Dore on him
There's gonna be a 30 plus game there going to be a 30-plus game.
There's going to be a 30-plus game.
Indiana's going to lose by 30 at one of these games.
Probably that.
But Thunder's been doing that all the time.
And then it's going to be a game where it's 130 to 135, too.
But back to our Jalen Brunson conversation, we asked the check and Brunson would be the
number one option on a championship team.
Nearly 2,000 votes.
Split 50-50 down the middle of whether or not.
He can be one?
And there's an argument in here that they are.
I mean, what is the percentage of,
in the last 50 years, two people doing it?
But who are those two people?
Wardell, Stephon Curry, and Isaiah Tompkins.
Yeah.
Wardell.
So what is the percentage of 50?
Dirk on guard.
I'm just asking the question.
Two people in the last 50 years, can you
give me the percentage of that?
But do we feel like J. LeBrunsley?
Can you give me the percentage?
Can J. LeBrunsley be the first?
Just give me the percentage.
What's the percentage of a point guard averaging over 9%?
A real point guard?
Yeah.
What does real point guard mean?
Too much.
Obviously, when you do that with LeBron.
LeBron was a point guard on that team.
In the last, what?
In the last 50 years?
Yeah.
It's only been Magic.
Okay.
There's been one more.
So this would be, yeah, so this would be the first.
Yeah, this would be the first point guard
since Magic Johnson
to win a championship average in nine pluses.
Shaye Dord?
Shaye.
Shaye.
Shaye.
That's fucking crazy.
That's crazy.
That's Chad hologram.
But see they got to say.
One day you were a great player.
See that's the difference.
They won six nine playing power forward two.
And it means so Halle's a true,
True pure point. I mean a true point. They were playing Power 4, too. And it means, so you know, Halleys are true. Right, yeah.
True, pure point.
I mean, a true point.
Magic was the unicorn that kind of fucked everything up.
When he wants to add LeBron, LeBron is the unicorn.
Thank you, good.
Just like saying, Jokic.
He averaged 10 assists when he won the championship.
That's a fucking point guard.
Tyrese was 6'10".
Yeah, but basically, all the people
who won a championship with high assist is 6'9 and above
So you got Magic, LeBron and Jokic. So it's only been three.
But it's three bigs like if you say if
If Hallie wins it he'll be the first point guard and I don't know I haven't looked at anything in the 60s
So because I don't think I don't looked at anything in the 60s so because I
don't think I don't think Oscar Robertson a different NBA no one knows I
don't think Oscar Robertson was the guy when he won and I don't think he was
yeah I don't think he was a triple double that nine I don't think he was
he was a little bit older you have to go back to well let's talk a little bit
about no no early Boston days with
It was always you gotta have a superstar like that I'm just saying the guard at average is nine to six. You got to go back to Bob Cousy. Maybe I don't know
That's not a place that we want to go. No, I'm just saying I wasn't it wasn't different NBA
You know the a I wasn't I wasn't watching the a you scared
Doodle on Rondo. I think no Russell Wall
He was a second year. He was a second year player.
That was the second year in NBA.
Oh, when he won it?
Yeah.
All right.
Well, how do you got a chance?
So, before game six, James L. Edwards, Fred Katz from the Athletic, dropped an article
looking at the inner workings of the Knicks.
This is a problem in northern history.
Rondo average five assists.
Tony Parker I think on all of his championship the most was a six.
Chancy Bullock's what do you have it?
Chancy.
The highest three since magic is Avery Johnson.
Yeah, Jason Kidd when he was the third fourth option that year with
Dallas and then you have Kyle Lowry. Who was the point guard for Houston?
Jet, Jet. Yeah it was like three, two.
He was coming off the bench.
He came over there jumping the air.
Sam Kissel was a six man.
So before game six James O Edwards, Fred Katz from the Athletic dropped an article
looking at the inner workings of the Knicks.
Revealed some concerns with Katz on the defensive end.
Here's what it said in the article saying, quote, publicly Knicks players made veiled
comments all season about poor communication causing their inconsistencies.
Behind the scenes they said coaches expressed frustration with Towns' defensive habits,
less concern with his talent level and more with his process on that end.
Too often, Towns executed incorrect coverages
without communicating why he did it.
After it became a theme, players worried Towns didn't grasp
the importance of the matter.
So when you look at Cat, two years,
plus a player option left on his deal,
slated to make $53 million next season,
57 million in the 26th, 27th season,
then has the potential to opt to now become
a free agent that summer.
So when you hear this type of stuff going on,
with Cat on the defensive end,
do you see it just watching the games?
Yep.
How big of a problem is it?
Drop coverage, got to be what they talking about.
Because that's the shit that you're looking at.
You'd be like, why are you doing that?
And you got to know now that he goes to the bench
and everybody looking like, yo, why are you still in drop,
bro?
And then we ask him, why are you still in drop?
And he says, I don't know, man.
Fuck, my bad.
Is he going to blame the cat, though?
You have to blame the person who's doing it. I'm blaming the coach
Back when we play what happened back when we play don't have what happened
We don't have to leverage to do that because who we subbing in is not gonna give us what he gives
To stay big we need to say big but what I'm sorry again, but what is already she started Robinson start
How hard is it? I mean, so it's my thing is can you do it or you just can't do it because that's it's the mental We need to say big. Robinson. But what I'm saying is- He's already in. But what I'm saying-
He's already, she's starting.
Robinson's starting.
How hard is it?
I mean, so my thing is, can you do it or you just can't do it?
Because that's-
It's the mental fatigue of me saying, I'm supposed to do it, but I'm lazy.
But why is it the problem now though?
Like we were gonna, it just popped up now and I'd be lost.
It was a problem.
No, it was a problem.
It was a problem in Minnesota.
It was a problem in Minnesota.
But no, I didn't hear about it when they beat Boston.
I didn't hear about it in the first round.
I hear about it now, because they lost.
Brunson.
I'm just saying.
Why Brunson never get picked on?
What was the team they was playing?
They hiding in Brunson every time.
What was the team they was playing?
What did Boston do?
Get Brunson in the pick and roll.
We go after him every game, but it's my fault
because I'm not in drop.
Yes.
You be picking on your ass, the star player Bronson
every time down.
Hey Nick.
You're supposed to be the first guy down.
Hey Nick, we're in drop coverage and you're not in.
You about to get a rebound, you looking at the rebound
and shit waiting for somebody else to get it.
Nick, Nick, Nick, I know you don't want to go here.
I know you don't want to go here.
All right, so let's put a scenario together
with you on the wing, right?
You catch the, they catch the ball.
You're playing defense on the wing. Our coverage is send it baseline
Mm-hmm, right down down down sit it down soon as he catches it on the wing what you do
You push you you go baseline coverage. What's your expectation?
That the big you send it that the biggest. Hey, no Nick don't do this to me
They just just talk to me
The pick for me said it all right, I'm defending BJ set the pig for it. I'm sending it down
We're sitting it down Nick. If you if the deep if the office of God start driving and cat is not there
Are you not gonna be mad? Yeah, that's a straight line drive. Are you not gonna be mad?
Where is Cat supposed to be?
He been winning.
I didn't hear about this all the time.
We just used to talk to him.
Yeah, he been messing up, but why would he lose?
I know what you're saying.
He cast the ball on the baseline, right?
He cast the ball on the wing, right?
And then you hear Cat say ice.
Ice. Ice, right?
So what you do, you get up,
and then next thing you know, he driving down,
he got a straight line drive.
And he get a layup, where you're like, where is cat? Yeah cats like oh my bad
But if cat pulls to be trying to get there, what's the other part though?
The fast break how many fast break points they have don't the guards supposed to get back. Yep
It's always supposed to be too back. So why they don't talk about that because they're not talking about that
That's not the problem. They think how do we lose?
This is a problem though, Nick. What was our reason to lose?
A lot of things, not just fast break.
A lot of things.
The majority was not getting back
on defense. The majority was execution.
We wasn't actually turning the ball over.
So, Payton, plus 58 in the series,
fast break points. What was it?
Plus 58 in the series. So, that's the reason we lost.
Close to 10 points per game. We need two back. Fast break points. What was it plus 58 in the series? Oh, that's the reason we lost
Ten points per game need to back fast break. So you don't want to start playing
So I'm just saying who's supposed to get back? It's nobody said it's not just some cat. It's not just some cat Oh, that's what we're talking. See this one. I do want to get
When I start talking to you you start start saying, well, what about him?
No, no.
Because the thing is, it's not just Kat though.
That's who we're talking about.
We know it's not just Kat.
It's the whole team. We know.
So why are they not complaining about Brunson?
Because he's one of the star players.
They're talking about him right now.
Maybe they talk about Brunson tomorrow.
Okay.
That's not what we're talking about right now.
Don't change and move to goal post on Brunson. We talk about cat
No, I'm not but cat is not the only person we know
Or other guys we know and it's another guy out there that average on more points to him
That's not playing defense talking about him and his defense. We're not the other guy
Focus the he's all NBA player
So we ain't talking about him.
Yeah, we paying motherfuckers too much.
Was the athletic dude talking about,
Brunson, you know what he's talking about, Kat?
No job is to play D.
He was talking about Kat.
So go ask him why he not talking about Brunson.
This is based on a report from the athletic
that singled out Kat in his defensive issues.
Diabolical to be shot.
But you look at it.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
They're diabolical to be shot.
That's what I'm saying.
So because we just explained it, you just said, right, we were saying earlier, you said
they didn't have two guards back, right?
That was one of the reasons why every time they shot, they got four guys at the bottom.
Why isn't Breslin back?
Listen.
Because what is the thing?
They're not talking about that.
They're talking about every time you come off on a pick and roll, Kat is in the fucking
paint and Halliburton is shooting a three
I gotta get up. So listen, I gotta try to get this rebound I gotta run all the way fucking down get back get all the way up this motherfucker over here
Just coming down way offense, right?
When when when the basics of a basketball is what the 302 to on right ain't that how you how everybody get back?
Right in the morning what you just say describe it again. I gotta do what?
What does Kat have to do?
I already probably scored.
They already scored.
They gotta shoot.
I gotta get the ball.
That's what Kat has to do.
Get the rebound.
Battle this.
Run all the way back down while you just sit in the corner just chilling.
First of all, you're supposed to be back.
So you just chilling.
So I gotta come back, touch the paint, and then try to get back into it.
They already scored.
Now we're gonna back on them. You want me to do it every time? Yes. I gotta come back. Uh-huh. Touch the paint. Yeah, and then try to
Every time yes I might miss over the back all but then by that time, but what about the other time?
That's your job, but what about the other? That's a big man. That's what you're supposed to do
But sometimes I can't get back cuz I'm down here bad, don't care, but you suppose you don't care listen your job, but you're not a rebound what you just say
Okay, you explained get the rebound, but right I gotta come down right. I gotta come back down. That's basketball
No, but what I'm saying is sometimes I'm down here battling. I can't get back
Why yo ass ain't already bad, but that ain't what we talking about, but that's what they say
I'm gonna get it you want me to you we talking about. But that's what they say. But that's what they say. So how am I gonna get it? You want me to run back down? You're talking about Brunson now. You're still talking about Brunson.
Everybody else too gotta do their thing. Help me. Help me as soon as I'm trying to get back. Can somebody help me?
We'll help you. We'll help you. Now you help us.
Alright. That's not the help. Help us. You just ask for help. You just ask for help.
Now help us. Cat, now are you gonna help us now? Yes. How? I I'm helping you you're not up in the pick and roll. I am
That's why they say yo, we don't know what cat on
I thought it was a three cat was bussing there as much as you say I thought it was a three
25 25 12 in the Easter Conference one five and 12 talking about defense Larry don't blame me. He's talking about
50% from the field
I'm just saying though. The other superstar don't even have to play. We're not even gonna mention him We just gonna say cat when it's right when it's not the player and this is the defensive coach
So why you not saying but the coaches do you wanna do you want a tissue?
If you got
Go get a fucking tissue
No, I just don't like the fact that we're blaming one person. Yeah
Nobody that's guilty of doing some shit wrong likes to be blamed alone
They like other people to come in on the victimization shit And we're't just me. It's gonna be the blame cat. Right. It's gonna be the blame cat.
Right, so we got these guys in finals.
And we over here talking about, oh, it was cat.
Cat saved dog.
It was one of.
One person.
Cat is not the main reason.
Okay.
One of the reasons.
The biggest reason and issue is their coach, Byr Timm.
So let me just read this quote to you again.
Said, too often, talents executed incorrect coverages
without communicating why he did it.
After it became a theme, players, unnamed, players
worried Townes didn't grasp the importance of the matter.
So we know the Knicks don't have a very deep rotation.
Don't look over there.
Ain't nothing over there.
Ain't nothing over there.
Nothing over there, nigga.
It's empty.
It's empty.
Yeah.
It's just according to the report.
I'm on it.
I'm free.
I'm in there. James L. Edwards, Fred Katz, Fred Katz, one of the Eastern It's empty. It's empty. It's empty. It's just according to the report. I want it on three seven.
James L. Edwards, Fred Kats, Fred Kats,
one of the Eastern Conference Finals,
Larry Bird, Eastern Conference Finals MVP voter.
The president and his daddy got that shit unlocked, man.
You're gonna never hear nothing bad about them.
They ain't doing nothing wrong.
Is Kaepi unfairly targeted for his defense?
Targeted by the players.
Yes.
He's targeted by all offensive players.
So do I mean it's in play.
Listen, can you just put that up there so we can just be educated after all on cat himself. It's it's him. It's his physical makeup
Long legs short torso big-ass feet. There's nothing he can do. He's built like a whole fucking bitch
Built like a girl girl He has girl hips.
He's like a full WNBA player.
Nothing wrong with that.
I'm sure if he played in the WNBA, it would be a great.
Fuck that.
No, no, rewind that.
Rewind that.
No, rewind that.
Everyone, please rewind that.
Rewind that.
I don't know what you're standing on this panel.
No, I rewind that. Look at Robert, all the way. Keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going. I'm trying. I'm trying. I'm trying. I'm trying. I'm trying.
I'm trying.
I'm trying.
I'm trying.
I'm trying.
I'm trying.
I'm trying.
I'm trying.
I'm trying.
I'm trying.
I'm trying.
I'm trying.
I'm trying.
I'm trying.
I'm trying.
I'm trying.
I'm trying.
I'm trying.
I'm trying.
I'm trying.
I'm trying. I'm trying. I'm trying. I'm trying. I'm trying. built to play. He can't play pick and roll defense. He doesn't have the body to do it.
He's built back. He's not athletic. He can't move left to right. He can't move up and down.
He can't move. He can't jump. He just has a bad build. It is great for how he plays
offense, but we've all played against defenders who just can't guard anybody because how they are building
The field you know if we got if we got to play one there's okay out of all the players on this court right now
we have a
Million dollar our life is on the line to score on one person
On that court right now. We're all gonna pick the same one person. Give me cats
No, it's easy. I'm not going to get me cat. It's easy to score on a big. Give me cat
No, I'm not a big not I'm a big every big no, you're not a big
Boy like all right. Hold on. I wish a big one. Hold on. You have
Okay, okay, I'm gonna pick five big pick and roll
Five big five big I'm gonna give you five bigs. You got Julius Rando. You got cat. You got Mitchell Robertson you have
Who see I know not see I can we know he can go, um,
Miles Turner, Evan Mobley, who are you picking
to go against for your life, for your kids life?
Who you think you can drive by?
You got Kat?
Yeah.
Evan Mobley?
Uh huh.
Who else?
Um, Joker.
No, we didn't say Joker.
Oh, cause I'm gonna pick Joker.
Of course you're gonna pick Joker. Now who's worse than Joker? No, we didn't say Joker. Oh, because I'm going to pick Joker. Of course you're going to pick Joker. Now who's worse than Joker?
Rudy.
Rudy.
Rudy.
Rudy next.
You're not going to score over Rudy or Kat.
Kat can't move, dog.
Kat can't move his leg.
Everybody go for Goatberg.
I'm not saying he's a bad defensive player.
How many game winners do Goatberg have?
Are you leaving?
He's just saying he's got a BMW.
His body is not.
His body's just not built for this.
His body's just not built for this.
His body's just not built for this.
His body's just not built for this.
His body's just not built for this.
His body's just not built for this.
His body's just not built for this. His body's just not built for this. His body's just not built for this. His body's just not His body made wrong his body's just not
There's Bentley
Why is it made wrong defense he averaged 30 something
score he just
Zach Randolph in the picker. He goes offensively great defensively
We just gonna go by that
There's just some people that just
You got to put them in drop coverage because we bought it go right back up here. He go we go
Listen, yes cement feet like he's just not a bill for the demons that they're trying to build
You just like they should be in his own like like even on like he's flat-footed
He like everything is like he's not like a light-footed dude
So that clip of holla burden hitting him with this move him way back there. That was cool for you
I'm not saying he's listen. I'm not saying he's a reason that they played bad defense. They all played bad defense
I'm saying what the quote is what they're saying is I can see it because he physically, I don't give a fuck how mental and whatever cause he makes, he's still a
liability defensively because he can't physically move, physically. He can call the ice and
be there, great, he can do, he just physically can't move his feet too big legs long compared to his body size not athletic it's just him he's a goofy he's
just that's what I'm saying he's a goof but he's still he can't I don't know what
he's doing we're not talking about offense we're talking about defense you gotta be
able to move if he could do that no like like Rudy Goldberg he's defensively good
goofily he's goofy he's a goofy offensive
player. Goofily is we will add that to our it has nothing there's nothing they can do about it
there's nothing they can do I'm gonna fuck what they all they're gonna have to do is just say hey
we're gonna put him in the zone hey Kat when you do we're gonna trap when you're in the pick
that's all they can do they can protect it. They can protect but drop zone one little has he and go by his body can't react to that. I'm like Luca
Got you. I'm like a little bit better
Definitely move a little bit better, but they like slow. They both like man. We there's like it was like Shacken Shacken Phoenix
Oh, yeah
Do you can't move side to side like that?
Yes, I'm just saying physically movie What you gonna do? You can't move side to side like that. Matumbo in the Piggie Roll. Here he is.
No, I'm just saying, physically.
He can move. He's just goofy.
No, I'm just saying, physically where his body is.
Him being goofy is a reason.
There's nothing he can really do.
But that's not what they're saying.
They're not saying he's goofy.
They're saying he refuses to tell us why he not doing the coverages we're calling.
He's doing his own thing out there.
And that's what happens when you're tired.
You're like, I'm just going to do this right now.
Batik.
And then you're not even calling it.
So think what I'm saying when I said we on the side,
you're pushing down to the baseline.
He calling it.
Hey, push, push, push, push.
And let him go over.
But then he follow his man all the way out,
and then your man's vibe because no one's there.
And then we get into the huddle, and we're like, yo, Kat,
where were you was at? He he was like what you mean?
You were supposed to help bro. Stop talking to me, bro. What are you talking about man?
Just for the book. It's gonna watch your man. Just the six games gonna get back
That's gonna be a problem, too. No, but this is before
Everybody on that team return hold on. Can you play the clip again?
No, no, not the clip.
Why point out the thing?
This message is not from the series.
You want me to say the quote?
It's the season.
The quote?
It's the season.
This is from the season, not the series.
So too often, Townes executed increased coverage
without communicating why
he did it after became a theme players worried towns didn't grasp the
importance of the matter bro after it became a theme and that means that a
theme a theme it went long enough previous say this gonna be the theme
song we done played this shit 17 times they used to it now okay me I'm used to it now. Like, okay, me. I'm new. You're new. I'm new to the game.
Everybody else on the team know each other.
What kind of relationship are you giving?
We stand up for each other.
What the fuck?
He knew.
Who is this nigga right here?
What about you?
I'm gonna get you before I agree with you.
Just take me.
No matter how much weight I lose or how strong I get, right?
My knees is my knees, right?
I'm gonna get you before I agree with you.
I'm gonna get you before I agree with you, I just throw it up to the school gear. Just take me. No matter how much weight I lose or how strong I get, right?
My knees is my knees, right?
My knees is my knees.
I can't do.
There's nothing I can do about the structure of this shit.
No, no.
Right?
So I can't run as fast as I used to.
I can't jump as high.
I can't move.
So the structure of my body is the problem, right? So there's nothing no matter how many drugs I put into it
I'm just limited at what I can physically do
They got new but when I'm just still I'm it physically I can't do what I you think I can do
It's the same thing with him or you're talking about a nigga who got 22 size feet, but he can't jump. That's a problem
No, no, he's a footer. He's a footer. You don't have to do it. You're seven foot
No, but I'm thinking about seven foot dudes, right?
Usually they got a little he is probably one of um
He's a probably a minus in his jumping ability versus arm and height. Yeah, what y'all saying? I'm not saying that's fucked up. So just physically, he's just limited.
But at the same time, I'm new.
And I'm going to agree with, heart going to agree with,
Brunson before he fucking agree with the town.
Hey, Nick, what does new, what does you being new
have to do with anything?
You're not new to playing basketball, bro.
I'm the hot guy out.
So I'm going to get single out first.
I'm going to get everything in my book.
You didn't just start playing basketball though.
Why you keep saying new?
I started in the second half of the school year.
Effort not new.
You don't have to be new to be like,
I'm gonna play hard.
You better easily call the other people out too though.
That's all I'm saying.
But they called, the players called him out.
It seems like right?
Reporting to the report from the athletic.
And who's the only people that play?
Huh?
And as previously mentioned, very, very small rotation. So, Thank you, that's what I'm gonna report from the athletic. And who's the only people that play? And as previously mentioned, very, very small rotations.
Thank you, that's what I was thinking.
Small rotations?
How they play the game, he's just not built for the style that they play.
That's all.
Like if he was in Denver with Jokic, this wouldn't even be a problem.
Jokic stays and drop, and that shit is terrible too.
That shit is trash.
But he still move better than Towns though.
No.
He moves better.
They move about the same, but it's just nasty.
That's what I'm talking about.
When you're up in drop coverage and we're trying to.
Steve is a Knicks fan.
No, no.
I'm not a Knicks fan.
I want to ask you, Steve.
You ain't just move a little bit better defensively
than Towns.
It appears so to my novice eyes.
You guys are basketball players now.
But he built like a basketball. I'm just saying, his feet, nigga, it's just his feet. He got a fucking size 20. I'm are basketball players now. But he built like a...
I'm just saying, his feet, nigga, it's just his feet.
He got a fucking size 20. What size is this foot? 21.
22, I believe.
22. He ain't built like Shaquille O'Neal. How many...
Oh, size 20, excuse me.
Size 20.
Size 20.
It look like a size 35. Like at least Shaq's shoes look the size of his body.
One leg is bigger than the other one.
One leg is longer than the other one. One leg is longer than the other one.
And Joker, how is this fucking gonna be built?
Move better.
Joker, run like this.
Can't someone just have Catwalking?
Just have Catwalking.
Catwalk like this.
Just catwalk, just, like he walks.
He walks with his own toe.
You know what it is?
It's Bobby's world.
Bobby's world, that's who Cat is.
Bobby's world.
Y'all never seen.
Don't you know?
Flipper!
You've never seen Bobby's world. Flipper never seen. Don't you know? Flipper!
Flipper!
You know when you get the flip shoes, he's also the big Flipper.
With the big ass Steve, the big ass he is.
Cat Flipper.
So we asked the chat who could you score on, we gave them three choices Cat, Go Bear,
Evan Mobley.
64% of the chat thinks that they can score on Cat, 32% said Go Bear, 4% said Mobley,
but 100% of the chat delusional.
Thinking they can score on any of those gentlemen. No, no, 64% they Mobley, but 100% of the chat, Delusional. Think they can score any of those, gentlemen.
But no, 64, they didn't pick the right one.
All you do is just gotta drive.
That motherfucker can't move back like that.
All right, so one more thing before we get on to Mosse fans.
So Tibbs drawing criticism for playing
the Starters' Heavy Minutes throughout the regular season
and postseason.
Obvious that likely won't change.
That is a staple of his coaching for what it's worth.
Tibb was instrumental in Jalen Brunson coming to the Knicks.
When Brunson was asked how much confidence he has in Tibb, this was his response.
Do you kind of feel that going forward he's the same guy to lift you guys the
rest of the way, the next level?
Is that a real question right now?
I mean, I was wondering.
You just asked me if I believe that if he's the right guy.
Yes.
Thanks guys.
Come on.
A very tough question to ask after getting eliminated from the Eastern Conference finals.
The reporter asked if Brunson had confidence in Tibbs moving forward.
I guess.
What did he say?
So Brunson gave Tibbs a vote of confidence,
but we'll go around the couch.
We'll start with you, Mr. B. Do you believe Tibbs the right guy
for the Knicks?
No.
No, I think it's ran his course, but he's
done a great job there.
I mean, they got to the Eastern Conference finals, what, twice.
But I just think it's burnt out.
It's kind of like in Chicago, when
Chicago was making that run.
They always had great teams, and they always played defense, but
I just think they need something different right now.
So, but no, man, shout out to Tibbs.
I mean, he did his thing, but I think it's just time to move on.
Let's move to our resident New York Knicks fan.
Yeah, money Making Sonny.
Just go ahead and spit it out sometimes.
I have to get my money making and making money.
All the time.
It flips in my head so I have to say it correctly.
I will get better, I will do better.
All together, where's my business, okay?
You don't get it fucked up, okay?
It's a copyrighted version.
Money Making Sonny.
Thank you very much.

Hey, yo, have you seen the top 10 LA rappers list?
Yes!
Jorge, you probably going for Peewee.
I'm just going to be honest.
There was only one person I was looking for.
Rib tips.
Barbecue rib tips.
All I was looking at was Mossberg in there.
Because I used to listen to him with DJ Quik back in the day.
I was like, I need a nice.
And he was there.
He was like, they had him at eight.
He couldn't do that.
The rest of the list, I'm going to just be honest with you.
No, just your top 10.
I didn't even know who most of the motherfuckers were.
I see that.
Yeah, that's fine.
So I'll read the top 10.
King, King.
Don't put it up.
Who the fuck is King?
We got the top 10.
Back alley rappers.
These back alley rappers.
I don't know who the fuck these motherfuckers are.
Hey, don't go past. listen, just stay right here.
They ain't not even from LA.
Alright, alright, so look, where's T in that?
They're not from LA. How come they gon' say?
Kendrick, Snoop, Ice Cube, Drake, Tyler Crader, DJ Crick, Ice T, be real.
I'ma just be honest.
Cypress Hill, come on, show us some respect.
Old travel access, New York.
Insane in the mid-green. How you respect. New York. Insane in the middle.
Somebody from New York going to tell us about LA rappers.
Nipsey.
Game.
They got Absoll 43.
Corrupt.
Will.i.am is behind Yo-Yo.
They got Dogeycat 26.
That's crazy.
She better than Hat.
She top 10.
Dogeycat top 10 LA rappers.
She's our Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.
They got Ben Staples behind.
Okay, so I'm just going to ask the question.
Who wrote this?
Complex.
They got game.
They got the game behind Tyler the Creator.
Yeah, that's crazy.
Okay, can I ask this question?
That's insane.
That's crazy.
They got game behind Be Real.
Shout out to Yo-Yo.
Go ahead, Gil, my bad.
No, no. So someone like Tupac
Right where is he at? He's in my top. I said he's not LA so what was he?
Your they say
Like he
Already bought them all like
Bay Oakland you may not
In LA right yeah Baltimore like that's what I'm saying. He's Bay, he Oakland. He's not Baltimore, he Oakland.
Right, we adopted him.
He didn't say to live and die in the Bay.
He said that he got adopted by the Oakland.
He's LA.
We're taking him.
LA.
I fight with Tupac, I swear to God.
Oakland for sure bro.
So the game did one right?
Yeah, he did. So okay, well you say best rapper. Is it lyrics or just hip-hop artists?
That's what I know what I'm saying. Is it just your body of work your impact you get that booth
Clear rap like no
Is it impact impact? So then you got a look at and you gotta say like Ice Cube is probably the biggest impactful
LA rapper ever.
No, he didn't.
Impact?
You did start with Ice Cube.
Ice Cube.
No, Ice Cube.
Y'all got Snoop Dogg.
I'm not gonna lie, I'm not bad at the top three.
You can put it in whatever word you want.
At this point you can-
You gotta put pop.
Skill as a hip hophop artist strength of catalog
Commercial impact and lasting influence. That's their criteria
Wait, okay. So they pop. Okay. I'm gonna just be honest in
Who is King T? That's what I say
Like I know skew I know cue boy cute for a couple songs
But when you're talking about the impact he's in front of like somebody like that.
Tiger.
Tiger.
Tiger got kind of long.
I mean, I'm just be honest.
If you, I'm pretty sure if you take Tiger himself and go into a club and say, we're
going to play all club hits, he can compete with anybody.
Mack 10 is a head exhibit.
Oh shit, a exhibit.
I know, they love Draco though, Draco.
Draco, all right. Man, you play Fantastic Voyage. I'm cool they love Draco though, Draco. Draco, alright.
Man, you play Fantastic Voyage.
I'm cool, my top ten don't look like I'm cool.
Coolio, Dangerous Minds.
Man, I'm cool.
Y'all tripping.
I'm cool, cause these some East Coast people.
Cool, I don't like that.
Like I'm just, I don't know.
The game put a piss list, right?
How far off?
He put himself at five, I think.
I did my top 10.
No, I'm just saying, how far off is the game from?
I did my top 10.
But game isn't a top 10, though.
Mr. B, you have your top 10.
Would you like to give me your top 10?
Hey, is Tech Nye, remember?
Is Tech Nye from the West Coast or is he East?
Yep, yep.
I thought he was from Kansas.
Tech Nye from Kansas?
Nah, he's from Long Beach.
Right, then what's your list?
Like, I wanna see what game, game. You wanna game, game, I want to see a games list.
My top 10 list.
I had Kendrick Lamar first, I had Tupac second, I had Snoop Dogg third, The Game 4, Tyler
the Creator 5, Nipsey Hussle 6, Ice Cube 7, DJ Quick 8, Dogey Cat 9, and Dr. Dre.
Dogey Cat?
Man, man, what the fuck?
Fuck this. a doji cat nine and Dr. Doja Cat. Man, man, what the fuck?
I'm gonna put blue face in mine.
This won't be crazy.
Damn, blue face.
Doji Cat is our LA Cardi B and Nikki.
And then you got Todd the Crater.
He's our Kanye West.
Wait, so, okay.
He said doji cat.
Yeah, doji cat's fire.
So what I'm saying is...
Fire right now.
But I'm saying fire right now. So if her and Tiger... No, she's betting out for him fire? So what I'm saying is Fire right now. Yeah, if her and I know she's been out for no one
I'm saying is that her and I go win a club and win hit-for-hit you think she can compete with title
You said club the same club means we talk about rapping. Let's get
Let's get in the booth. That's not what the criteria
Fluence we said body say, body of work.
Body of work.
So yeah, so she wouldn't compete then.
I mean, you said, we're talking about a club.
Let's just play some music.
Let's just sit in here and play some music.
That's all she do is play some music.
No, don't compare us into Tyga, what you're saying?
Compare her to Tyga?
He got pissed with Chris Brown.
He got a whole album with Chris Brown.
That's fine.
You can play that.
She got a Grammy.
For real.
Open up.
She got a Grammy.
She got Grammys. I like Grammys. I like people that got Grammys.
You like hardware.
I like hardware.
But she got Grammys for singing though.
Not rapping.
That's what I'm talking about.
Rap.
Right.
Right.
But she has Grammys for rapper singing.
Singing.
Pop.
Pop music.
She can rap though.
She can rap better than a lot of these motherfuckers.
You can put that dog in there.
That dog can in there.
She can rap.
Hostage a hybrid.
See, I don't listen to her.
They got EZ in the top 10.
Come on man, get the fuck out of here.
He started this shit now.
No, no, no. He started, but top 10 rapper? Not at all. See I don't I don't listen to easy in the top thing come on man get the fuck out of here
Technically it should be ice cube. If you put on a song right now,
where everybody knows how his dad's religious
so far back and they got corrupted.
I don't know why, when you're talking about lyrically,
just lyrically, corrupt gotta be top five.
Right, you rise the rhyme, you gotta do that.
He's talking about impact too.
Corrupt can't rap better than Tyler DeFranco.
I'm sorry.
I'm cool.
Well, I'm cool.
Y'all go ahead, I'm not.
I don't know, I'm not.
I had a man way in that. Ice Cube. You want games top 10? Yeah, I want games top 10. I'm sorry. I'm cool
Number one Tupac Tupac second Snoop Dogg third cube fourth Kendrick fifth himself
Six corrupt seven DJ quick eight dr. Dre nine easy
exhibit Why Easy E 10 exhibit. No easy. You gotta throw nip in there. Why? Impact. Why? Oh, impact.
You gotta throw nip in there man. Okay, impact. I'm just gonna. You like the new part. Tyler
Corado is number five for a reason. Okay, so you gotta throw Will.i.am in there. No. Okay,
so look, with Dr. T. Excuse me. Never mind. For sure, top 15. Never mind.
Well, you can't get mad at dudes you can't be like.
Great name.
Black Ops P's, Black Ops P's, That's the Joy, That's the Jam.
Okay, so for Impact, okay, hold on.
You see, you remember that.
See, Impact, it becomes something different because now you're...
So Dr. Dre with the beats and doing like what?
Dr. Dre.
Because he only got two albums.
No, no, no, no, no.
But wouldn't he be one?
No, no, no, no, no.
He only got two albums.
No, no, no, no, no.
He only got two.
His body of work is small.
His body of work is small.
His body of work is small.
Niggas are out rapping.
But his body of work, no.
His body of work.
But no, his body of work.
His body of work.
Wouldn't that be Eminem and 50 Cent?
No.
That's not the producer of QBA LA.... As a producer, he's a rapper.
That's the impact.
Not a rapper.
And all of his beats.
Listen, his impact, listen, my first four...
No, I'm just talking about if we're talking about impact, what are we bringing?
No, but listen, my first four, Dr. Dre has everything to do with that.
Kendrick Lamar, Tupac, Snoop Dogg, and the game.
But that's not him rapping, y'all.
I'm producing the goals for us.
But they're not talking about producing.
You rapping.
You as an LA rapper.
Yes, he has two.
Do you know who Ice Cube is?
Yeah, I do.
You remember the Predator album?
In comparison to Dr. Dre, Ice Cube has a bigger catalog.
With more influence.
With more influence than Dr. Dre?
Yes.
Crazy, because we would never get Dr. Dre out of the top 10.
We would never have to.
We would never have to.
We'd be clubbing.
He's still performing.
We'd be clubbing.
That's fine.
That's fine.
Yeah, not having more influence.
Some still do be clubbing.
That's fine.
Dr. Dre is responsible for the first four people. That's fine. Yeah, not having more influence. Some still do be clubbing. That's fine. Not having more influence now.
Dr. Drake is like the same.
Dr. Drake is responsible for the first four people.
Snoop Dogg.
I can't say who got more.
It's like, I can't.
We're not having more influence.
Because then, if y'all going to bring that in,
we bring in the movies and shit, right?
Cause you can bring in Friday Night Live.
But that's what I was asking.
I was asking, like, if you're going to do all that.
That's what I'm saying.
Come on, bro.
Cause then, you know what I'm saying?
Will.i.am and I'm like, will.i.am
have the biggest records in the whole world?
Y'all are not using just the rap catalog.
Well, how about who y'all seeing then?
I was a little disappointed to see Sugar Free at 18.
That's really though.
That's Ice Q have a top five album out of LA ever.
Who? Top five album?
Yes.
Ever, ever out of LA.
Crazy, you crazy.

He got a movie.
Oh his father?
NWA that was him.
That was him.
Like literally.
Rizzo Mourinho deserves some love.
Like NWA was him.
Who produced the music?
Him.
Dre wasn't on the music?
No Dre was doing what he was doing but it was all IQ.
It was all IQ.
Right and everybody knew.
Right and everything.
He did everything though.
That ain't rap though.
We talking about rapping.
You talking about producing.
No I'm not talking about producing.
I'm talking about producing. I'm talking about producing. I'm talking ice cube. It was all ice cube. It was all ice cube.
But producers don't stop making the beats and stuff.
Who doing all that?
That ain't rap though.
We talking about rapping.
You talking about producing.
You need a beat to rap on.
Yeah.
No, no, no, you need a rapper.
No, you need a rapper to rap on the beat.
Shut up, you need a rapper.
Shut up, the lyrics, the lyrics.
Best friends.
Best friends.
Best friends.
That is technically a beat, Gil.
Oh, it is? Yeah, it is. You gotta do the Clif beat. You gotta do the Clif. That is making a big deal. Oh, it is? Yeah, it is.
You gotta do the cliff beat.
You gotta do the cliff.
That is making a beat on a tape.
Well, fuck you, Chewbacca.
I got Cube in my top 10.
You know what?
You talking about reducing.
It's just A all day for me, huh?
It's just A all day.
You know what I mean?
I think it's a hip hop.
You just came here to argue.
You came here to argue.
What's the top five predator, predator, death certificate?
No, no, no, no, not his.
No, I'm saying what's your top five LA rapper?

That's three, that's three right there.
Documentary.
All Eyes on Me.
That's four. That's four. I said Allary. All Eyes on Me. That's four.
That's four.
I said All Eyes on Me, yeah.
So we got the documentary, we got doggy style,

All Eyes on Me, and what's five?
And Man City.
Good Kid Man City.
Okay, so Ice Cube is not in the top,
he don't even have a top five.
Wait, Vaseline?
I mean, no Vaseline?
No Vaseline?
That's a group.
But still. Or you want Solo? I want Solo. I wanna see what Vaseline? That's a group. But still.
Or you want solo?
I want solo.
I wanna see what you do with your arm.
I wanna see what you do with your arm.
We can throw the Predators.
You can throw that in.
Throw it in there.
This is today.
Today was a good day.
You ain't throw it in there.
Today was a good day.
No, that's that album?
Yes.
Predator.
Today was a good day.
No Vaseline, Predator?
Yeah.
So name your five again. No love for Rhythm-a-lism. Yeah. So name your father again. You know, no love for rhythm elism.
You're good at math.
I'll take that.
Quick.
They just don't know.
Oh, shit.
DJ Quick.
Yes.

I'm feeling.
That's your man.
Here, I'll show you.
That's your man.
No, you're talking about your man.
That's your man.
Go listen to Doge Cat.
Wait, he probably peed.
Depends if you're on the street. Depends if you're on the street. Doge Cat. He's trying to get up. No, no, you're not. That's your man

He's in my top 10, though.
Yeah.
But then, listen, there's so many,

Can't leave Game out.
I really love it.
Insta-glow.
KMS City, you got Victory Lap with Nip.
That's why he's classic.
Crip, Crip, Crip.
Everything is classics out here.
It's a lot of classics.
I'm gonna just be honest.
YG got some classics in too.
Like, Dave can talk about his, right?
Because he's kindly, like he came in the early 2000s.
I want to hear like Ice Cube or Dr. Dre or Ice Cube, they have to do a list.
Yeah.
Because they've been there from the beginning.
They've been there.
Ice-T too.
Yes, but you know he went in the movie so I don't know how much.
He did color.
But I don't know how much he's still in the movie.
Let Dr. Dre do the list. I need Dr. Dre to do the list. But you know he went in the movies home
To do the list because he's still in the industry still and he was there from the beginning
His list will be the one that that really valid
Producer are in the top three. Yeah, that's production. That says a lot about you. That is cultural.
That means I'm saying nothing about your band.
Let me go in here and talk about,
and then let me drop an album.
Cause Kronik is top.
That's DJ Khaled's shit, man.
No it ain't him.
DJ Khaled can't even make a better album than the Kronik.

Did he?
Yes.
I know, hey, the Kronik was the shit. Back on the lock. We the best God did Yes

We all coming to an agreement that Kendrick's one. Yeah, I am
When I am doesn't know she does it a little after wise. I am now. I'm just talking about we talking about the criteria
Yeah, baby. Yeah, just
criteria of all he got to be number two cube is number one
Okay, look do you ever think no one destroyed his own?
Give me a group like we started together like we the bulls and I left and then I just fucked the bulls bread wasn't correct
Yeah, he made it his plan. I'm saying this he fucked the bulls up
He did we had somebody we got Kendrick who fucked a whole nother empire recently
Yes, I heard it like you know me like I don't wanna be fucking my hood up. That's cool
This is it fucked up a whole country and a whole empire that was bigger than life
That has to mean for something does it cuz you know I'm and I'm listen
I'm just on the Kendrick vibe like within the last three years.
Like when he did the song with Miguel.
Oh yeah, yeah.
No that wasn't him.
That was J. Cole.
No, no, no, no.
No, no, no, no, no.
He did, no, no, no.
What was it?
Have a drink?
Have a drink with somebody.
How many drinks?

I don't know that one.
No, he, he, let you do it.
Let you do it.
Let you do it.
How many drinks does a tank get with me?
Hey!
Know you got good
But count as you not the
But count as you not the
When I get them drinks in my system to a drink
You coming home with me
Ladies and gentlemen
Maybe it was just swimming pool when it just switched to Jay Z
Maybe that's when I came
Gills Arena has united
The remit?
Okay that's when I was like okay let me see what he talking about
So the fact that I can say okay I'll put him in front of Ice Cube
I mean he's
You destroy the whole nother Like you destroy the whole nother In my system I can say okay, I'll put him in front of ice cube. I mean he's
You just saw it man. You just saw it a whole nother
Like you destroyed a whole nother in my right he right because you can fire dog like drink was an empire consider it I mean a empire
Yeah I was going to say, fuck the police. In a time when Marcy E was in the ship. No, no, no, but that was, yeah, fuck the police.
That was on, but he was still on.
Think about how brave you gotta say fuck the police
with no cameras.
But he did that in the group.
No, no.
Yes.
Then he said, then he killed the group.
America's Most Wanted.
And then he killed the group.
America's Most Wanted.
There was no more NWA aspect.
No, fuck the police was NWA when he started that.
Yeah, yeah, that's facts. That was the group then. America's Most Wanted was after. But that was No, but the police was NWA when they started that. Yeah, that's facts.
That was the group then.
America's Most Wanted was after...
But the Fuck the Police song was the group then.
But No Vaseline came in.
There was no more.
But I said nope, there'll be a...
But he fucked this group up.
But I'm saying, this is like when AI crossed over at Prime Jordan.
And imagine if he won a game.
He crossed Jordan up and, but this is, Kendrick won the game.
I don't know if he won the game or not.
No, he did.
No, what he saying, look, think about what he was doing.
I'm saying Kendrick won the game.
Remember what he said.
With a game winner.
Me, you and Brandon was like,
yo, we ain't never seen this before.
This might've made Kendrick the greatest in LA.
Oh no, Kendrick the greatest in LA
But why but the reason why is because recently who he like who he destroyed like he like it was like this is Jordan
He came cross Jordan up and hit the game with all right
I want to hear you want MVP and want to talk that's how but if
What if it was like what if it was Jake was somebody like Jay-Z though like Drake is
Drake I know that's his own he lost already before Kendrick came right like
We looked know the way. No, we did not. No, we did not. He was one and one. He was one and one. No, no.
We did not throw all the way.
He was one and one.
The real niggas did not throw all the way.
Only the real niggas.
No, we did not throw all the way.
No, he was one and one.
They'll talk about that push-a-shit.
100%.
When Pusha T did what he did,
the real niggas like,
Davey got fucked up.
Who?
The rest of the world was like,
Nah, nah.
We don't even know who they are.
Nah, you have to have a brother come over there.
We pretended.
Yeah, I bet.
We pretended. Yeah, I bet. We didn't know who. Yeah, I bet.
What I'm saying, the rest of the world
they pretended that they didn't know who Pusha T was.
Yeah, exactly.
I'm born with Kendrick number one.
I can't preserve Q because what you all saying, it takes him over the top.
Kendrick.
I killed the titan.
Kendrick won A and two pots.
What's in A wasn't a the type like he's a Titan
amongst rappers like everybody knew who pushy T was
The masses the women the kids they didn't know who he was so the women and the kids are like and he's just what?
He's just trying to take his vibe like they made an excuse for him. Hmm
You just try to jump on hotline bling this right away
He could kill when you look like that's not even a couple of the kids and everybody was like, uh
Yeah, we know him but like we know who he is and everybody
No
We know
Inside hip-hop we like yeah, you won one bro. You know
The browns like what I up? Lebron was like, what did I tell you? He said, you said, uh. I'll never turn it back on you.
I'll never turn it back on you.
What did Bron do?
Turn his back on him.
He was at the pop out.
Right away.
He was at the pop out.
Right away.
But I'm saying this, nobody jumped with Pusha T.
Because he killed me.
Nobody pushed him.
Because the Boogeyman came. and everybody know the boogie man.
It's just like, yeah.
That's what I'm saying, it was just a different breed.
Yeah.
And that's why you gotta give his head off.
Kendrick number one.
Because they knew Kendrick was gonna do that though.
Like, come on man.
They knew he was gonna do it, but they didn't think he was gonna do it.
Like we knew, like everyone knew Kendrick would beat him, we didn't know he was gonna do it.
We didn't know he was gonna go there. We didn't know he was gonna go there
I told you, I told you
He was sitting on this counter like yo it's over
