First show in the studio.
I mean, what was that?
I ain't gonna lie, I did like the Zoom.
Protected by the screen.
I feel more protected, right?
You can say whatever you want, speak free.
You can say whatever you want, just like, sit down.
Oh, you're already sitting down.
Okay.
Now what?
We were back in the studio.

Gotta be our lucky day as well.
But this is Gilles Arena presented by Underdog.
Whoa, whoa.
I'm merely a host, Josiah Johnson.
We got NBA legend and Arc Raiders player,
Gilbert Arena's here with us.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Arc Raiders most wanted.
I heard you have a bounty on your head
in a video game.
I have a bounty of $1 million.
Real money?
For Arc Raiders.
Okay.
Arc Raiders.
It's the highest that Arc Raider have seen,
and I get why.
I pretend that I'm friendly and just shoot everybody in the back.
He said most-folded.
Art imitating life?
Yeah, yeah.
So they've been coming.
And I'm going to just let y'all know.
I was at 497 on Friday, and now I'm at 807.
So that means y'all've been dropping like flies.
So that bounty has to go up just a little bit.
Good luck.
Good luck trying to collect.
With my Tarenti.
Tarenti back against the wall.
Our graders players know what that mean?
Yeah, they know.
Dead.
Okay.
You got a million.
See you the next to Gil.
Say my name backwards though.
Like,
P Swaggy.
Last name first and then the first name last.
Say young Nick.
Yeah, okay.
Oh, we got a YN in the building.
NBA champion of the world.
Young Nick, Swaggy P.
YN.
YN.
in the YMBA.
You feel me?
What's the blue face fight?
I don't want to fight that loser, man.
He got his ass whoop.
What I look like looking like that?
Hey, man.
That's what I'm saying.
He said he's going to take it out on you.
He got too many knots and shit.
The commission was going to fight that earlier.
Too many of his skulls and knots.
You got to wait a couple months.
We're also joined by the man representing
tough crowd,
Card Carrying and Country Club member.
We got Mr. B, Brandon Jennings.
How you feeling, Mr. B?
You still golf?
Yeah.
Yeah, I'm hosting now.
I'm doing 1B1s.
One B1s.
No, no, no, I'm hosting.
I'm hosted.
I got, actually, there's some real hoopers out there that's,
you know, they're shooting in the 70s.
Shout out PJ and CJ.
This side of the couch, we got the distinguished gentleman
from Oak Cliff former number one pick,
Kenyon Martin.
Representing for St. Patrick's Day.
Appreciate you being festive.
Oh, no, you're right.
Like, I'll tell you all before the show.
Yeah, my kids, I got the school ones, man.
They, this whole thing at the school, you know what I'm saying?
They wake up looking for certain things around the house.
So it's, yeah, it's real festive around my way, man.
All holidays get celebrated, all of them.
I got some greenery hiding in the garage.
I hope my kids do not find.
I understand where you come from.
One player got a shit, was the college kid that got a call with the pound?
Yeah, it was a little bit more than that.
Yeah, you should have said it is. St. Patrick's coming up.
Ain't Patrick's day.
It's all greenery around.
You ain't pinching me.
They're talking about, man, yeah, they ain't got the young man jammed up.
They're still selling weed with all this and all this.
That's what I was saying.
All the money all the buckets you get you.
He didn't sell weed.
He's selling.
Handling.
What?
Weed andling.
What?
money you won't.
Hey.
Yeah, he got all my love.
Capitalism, ladies.
He's grateful for the money.
Last but not least, we got the man.
They call Cemetery Larry,
Incidate for the champion in the world.
Dr. Rashad McCann's PhD.
Is it getting surgical today?
That was easy.
Factor that in, man.
Factor that in.
That's all you need to do.
Just to factor that shit in.
It's going to be easy.
All goddamn money.
Yeah.
Post Black, here's your much
shenanigans in store on this show.
We got a lot to discuss.
Here's what's cracking in Gilles Arena today.
The Lakers are in the midst of a sixth game winning street
while playing their best basketball of the season.
Purple and gold proving they're for real.
Rockets are four or five in their last nine games
and constant double teams have KD considering becoming a corner boy.
Does Houston have a problem?
I'll go back to the LeBron pitcher.
Can we go back to the LeBron?
You know, he's been golfing so much.
Look at his arms.
It's just, you know, bottom half dark.
Those sleeves got.
And the NBA on the verge of adding expansion teams in Seattle and Las Vegas.
But is this a good or bad move for the league?
Before we get into all that, as always, the show is brought to you by underdog.

So we're going to start this show
in the new studio by putting the
word out. The Lakers are back
up, baby! Purple and
Gold took their five-game winning streak to Houston Monday
to face the Rockets in their first meeting since
Christmas Day, holding a slim half-game
lead over Houston for the third spot in the West
and what has the potential to be a playoff
off preview. Lakers needed a win to avoid letting the Rockets own the tiebreaker in their season series.
Houston was without Alperin Shangoon for the second straight game as he deals with lower back
issue. Both offenses looked nasty for most of the game, but the purple and gold did what was
needed to get the dub. Luca led the Lakers with 36.6 rebounds four assists going 14 to 27 from the field.
His fifth straight 30-point game, 52nd in a Lakers uniform. LeBron added 18, 5, and 5.
Austin Reeves had 15 in a tough shooting night for the man known as Lemon Daddy.
Lakers overcame a double-digit second-hat deficit, holding the Rockets to a season low tying 12 points in the fourth quarter,
into the game with a 15-2 run after a seven-minute scoring drought.
So after scoring 16 points in the first half, Kevin Durant had just two points in garbage time in the second half,
along with six turnovers.
Lakers got their six straight win, nine and one in their last 10 games.
In that stretch, they've beaten the Knicks, Wolves, Nuggets, and Rockets.
They're also a league leading 19 and 6 in clutch games this season.
You know, I know previously you said you were not watching the Lakers,
but what are your biggest takeaways from the Lakers' sixth game winning street?
First of all, you disrespected when you said we're back.
We're back, dude.
We've never been down.
We never left.
We've never left.
You said you wasn't watching them.
That's because I won't watch.
Don't mean we was down.
I didn't like our trade or the non-trade.
We didn't have a name.
What was six?
Huh?
We was at the six spot.
But that was, we was tied for four, fifty, six.
It was always right there.
So we've been there.
And we've been there and we're showing you what the playoff team looks like.
You know, you would think the Lakers was in ninth or tenth the way they talk about our team like this.
Right?
Who's team is it, you know?
Should they are star LeBron this go to the corner?
Who this is the record when they lose it and winning it?
Like, listen.
If y'all don't want to talk about old KC and the Spurs every day because nobody's going to watch, don't, don't disrespect the Lakers like this.
Six what?
Six and a nine.
What's those teams again?
Knicks, Knuckets.
Nickets. Rockets.
Nix.
Nuggets, Rockets.
Some other.
Some other.
Nix Nuggets Rockets.
Bulls, but then.
No, no.
She said, Nick's Nuggets Rockets.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, like, yeah, no.
Playoffs is coming, and we look like we got our playoff swag.
You know, slow that game down.
Put LeBron in a corner.
No matter where he go.
He can go to corner, he can go half.
It's cool.
Six and six and no.
Six o.
Swaggy, biggest take away from the Lakers' six-game winning street.
Oh man, I love it.
I love to see people accept roles, you know.
It don't matter of what kind of the star power and all.
You know, seeing LeBron become a part of the corner boy life is,
I know it's good to see because it happens to the best of us and once you accept the role
you prosper so that's why I feel like the Lakers are on a sixth game winning street they're
starting to understand the roles of where they belong out there and as long as that happens
I think we could go for so Brian and missed three games came back and played the last three games
wins over the Bulls Nuggets yeah in this Rockets game Monday let's shift over to you mr. B
car carrying country club member hosting one-on-one country club
What's your reaction to the Lakers six-game winning street?
Well, I said they had to hit the panic button, and they've been doing that since.
You know, AR last six games is averaging 25, so he is showing that he can't be a second option.
When Braun is shooting less than 15 shots, they're six and one.
And Aiden and Smart, you know, they've been stepping it up on both sides of the floor, so right now they're looking good.
And Lucas is taking this game to another level right now.
You know, he's been going crazy.
I know they had a little stretch where they were down,
but their defense kept him in.
And, you know, long as they are is the number two option,
the Lakers are going to be all right over there.
Okay.
Let's shift over to this side.
Kenya, Nuggets previously been burping the baby
that is the Los Angeles Lakers.
This one game.
Multiple games in season.
That's one.
On the tiebreaker.
Cool.
Not a playoff series.
Over time.
So you could have started this.
See, if you had started this.
Question like you asked everybody else.
I know, I was just getting it.
That was just the lead up.
See, but you didn't ruin it though.
Biggest takeaways from the Lakers and win.
See, now if you were to win with that one
instead of bringing the nuggets up in this conversation.
They beat the nuggets.
We just won the win though, but not a playoff series.
So I still don't think you could beat him in the playoff series.
He had a triple double too.
So he burped.
Yeah.
He just didn't burp.
It was burp.
It was purping like a motherfucker.
Yeah, yeah.
We're not just pat.
We're not sleeping.
Just pat, pat, pat.
I need.
I need some more.
The baby wasn't full, the baby needed some more.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we wasn't sleeping.
I dig it, I dig it.
But this rest were like previously in this season.
No, you'd go 9-1 and 10 games during the stretch of the season
where it wasn't looking as bright about a month ago.
Wasn't as promising.
Yeah, no, they, hey, nine and one, I mean, in 10 games, hey, 6-0 during the stretch.
So, hey, cool, you know what I'm saying?
Neighbians, don't sound nothing like the hornets.
Yeah, no, definitely, no, they are playing.
right now. They still, they've never been out of a playoff spot, Rashad. They have always been
in a permanent playoff spot from the beginning of the season to now. So the Lakers don't fit
the Charlotte Hornets criteria, not at all, brother. I'm sorry to tell you that. So, um,
like I was saying, they do not fit what the Charlotte Horn has been doing. No. They were
tied for fourth, fifth, or they could have been in any one of those positions within the last
month. Had a rough stretch,
bounced back out of it.
Last 10 games, playing well.
Last 6th, undefeated.
So looking promising right now.
We all know matchups are important when it comes to the
playoffs. So for them,
I think that is still an important factor.
Trying to avoid certain players,
player, if you can.
What player is that, sir?
You brought him up in this conversation
before you started talking to me about y'all Winstreet.
Luke a 4-on-one against the Nuggets in the Luke era.
I dig it, okay.
That's great.
But playoffs, we know where they-
We got it.
Yeah, we know what it is.
He's gonna, oh, shit, Aitin.
He's not Clint Capella.
Oh, he's gonna hear this shit.
That's that big old baby that you see that people be riding around.
They've been pushing the stroller.
They fucking feet dragging on the floor.
You're like, man, let him walk.
Right?
That's what the, that's the, D'Andre did fit that.
He does look like a big-ass baby.
That big-ass baby that he'll be burping, but.
But have been playing well.
Absolutely.
Let's move on to Dr. McCants.
Not looking at this Lakers stretch a game,
playing some of their best basketball this season.
I believe first six game win streak this season for the Los Angeles Lakers.
What are your biggest takeaways from the Lakers
in their six-game winning streak?
Take it away.
Don't mean shit.
Still look like the trash-ass Lakers to me.
You get happy all they want to.
When you talk who, we're going to, let's talk who for a second.
Let's just talk about what's happening out there on the floor.
like nothing has changed about their game.
Guys are hitting shots when ultimately it's like a
live or die scenario with every single possession.
If Luca's not taking the shot, if AR's not getting foul,
Lakers are in trouble.
DeAndre A.
and still don't know what the hell he is out there.
He doesn't know if he's going to get the ball.
He don't know if he's going to get a lob.
Rui, he got to find the ball whenever he can find it to shoot it.
And if you're still going to depend on Luca to really anchor the offense based on his performances,
first half, explosions and doing what he does on a regular night-to-night basis, they're not going
to go far because they don't have any X factors.
I don't think that LeBron is going to be the X factor.
He needs to be the X factor.
And now Swag said he pushed him to the corner.
And now you don't really know what kind of LeBron you're going to get.
And I think that's going to be the difference.
And they don't play no fucking defense.
Like Houston, fuck the game up.
Durant should have did way more than he did,
and I think EMA is putting him in a tough spot
and not actually drawn up place,
forcing them to play into the picking rolls
and all that stuff and the double teams.
But you look at the last three tough teams they play.
It's Rockets, Nuggets, and Knicks and Timberwolves.
Yeah, about saying Minnesota.
Those are good games to win.
Those are solid games that go in and steal.
but the manner in which they're winning these games don't solidify you being a playoff team
and you're going to go in and win a playoff series I think right now the lakers still need to
change a pace they need to change a gear they need to figure something out other than the luka
magic show that's been we've seen this so when you can isolate that in the playoffs they're dead
because a r just he's still in limbo he's still trying to figure out he can go back to
to be in the old AR or not, but 25 a game is nice, it's solid, but it ain't enough.
Not enough shit to this, I swear you agree with Rashah's saying?
You did previously call the Lakers the best of the ass teams.
They had struggled to beat good teams at that point.
Yeah.
I think now they're beating good teams.
That was easy.
No, I don't know.
I like what the Lakers doing.
I think winning games is winning games.
You've got to find good teams finding a way to win games.
And that's what they've been doing.
When you hear LeBron, Luca,
coming into a gym,
you automatically think it's going to be a good team.
So with them playing the right way,
LeBron finding a way to play with Luca and AR,
I feel like that's all they've been missing.
They was trying to figure out them three,
who's going to be 1A, 1B,
but now they're just trying to win, I feel like,
and that's the most important thing.
So they're scary to me.
You guys, are you pondering?
No, I wasn't.
No, I was looking at it to see if those shorts is dirty or...
Those are the sex shorts.
Okay, threw them on right after.
I was gonna feed me.
He just came...
You just get done and throw him on.
Go to the kitchen and shit.
Walk around the house and the shorts.
He forgot he had him on.
He just walked out the house.
He just looked like you sell tickets outside of the shirt on too.
You look like you sell tickets outside of the clothes.
You look like you slide...
What?
Shop at sloth, man.
Don't do it.
I got to shoot back.
I shoot back.
We don't know where that cap came from.
You don't know that cat.
That's a sock or what?
What is that?
Hey, yeah, you remember the joint that you had that paint ball that got one of them over here.
You better chill out.
Got a switch over here.
You ain't even putting no loaves on them hands after you finished.
Boy, you got going to hang sex socks, sex hands.
What you're doing?
Hey, Nick, do this.
Do this.
Show the elbows.
Hey, do this.
Show the elbows.
Like, you know, let me cut the...
Hey, do this.
All right.
And then, do this.
How your mom used to do you when you go out?
Come here, boy.
Come here, boy.
Come here, boy.
Come here.
Come here.
Come here.
You got a nurse outfit.
Come on, man.
It's called scrubs.
Surgery.
Surgical scrub.
Surgery.
Cool, let's go, man.
Ladies and gentlemen, we were back.
Missed you fuckers.
In the arena.
I'm tired of seeing y'all faces on Zoom.
Oh.
Wi-Fi cutting out.
Wi-Fi cutting out like a motherfucker.
Pixelated.
At least one person was pixelated at all times.
But, tick it's.
Let's talk a little bit.
I need to.
Let's talk a little bit about Luca.
Luca Upped his production during the six-game winning streak.
During the six-game winning streak, was averaging 38 points, nine rebounds,
Eight assists, two steals and a block on 49, 40, 82 splits.
In 56 games this season, he's averaging a league leading 33 points per game
along with nine assists, eight rebound, averaging more points, rebounds, assists, and steals
than current MVP frontrunner SGA.
When you look at what Luca's doing and what he's done this season
and with the expectations for the Lakers' word this season,
does Luca deserve more love in the MVP race?
I don't want to be a stickler for the details.
When you say more love?
Not getting enough.
Where is he positioned now?
Four or five.
Depend to who?
Depending on who you ask.
Okay.
I'm asking you.
Because you asked the question.
I said four or five.
Okay.
So four or five, do I think he needs to get more love?
Right now, Wimby's jumped in the key of NBA MVP ladder, which gets released by the league every Friday.
Okay.
Wimby jumped to the second spot.
You still got to ask J.
What was he?
Wimby went from like five to two, right?
He made a significant jump.
And you know why he went, hey, he ducked that smoke.
He ducked that smoke.
He dug the smoke?
Yeah.
To get the two?
Did he play against the, did he play the game that the Spurs played the Denver Nuggets?
No, Wimby did.
He ducked that smoke.
So go ahead.
My bad.
So current rankings, most recent, SGA won, Wimby 2, Joker 3, Luca 4.
Okay.
So do I think he...
Hey, Cunningham 5?
I think he needs...
Damn.
I think he, do I think he needs to deserve...
I think he's getting right.
He's getting right enough.
He's getting enough.
You know, it's between, you know, if we're looking at it right now,
it's between him and Yoke is just going to be three and four.
One's average a triple double.
You know, it's about, you know, performing all year round.
He's performing all year round.
But, you've got players that's really doing it in front of him.
And I think he's not going to get the credit that he deserves
because of the name LeBron James is carrying because the fact that LeBron James on the team,
no one is considering he's 41.
They're only considering his LeBron James, so he's supposed to be great.
Not LeBron James at 40, and, you know, he isn't who he used to be that you guys have him glorified as.
So obviously, Luca has to do a lot.
right get the man easy shot so he's not burning himself out right take seven to 13 shots take 18
I mean you know don't burn yourself out because we're going to need you in a playoff so you know
the game has become a little bit easier for lebron so he can last in the playoffs and you know that's
not considered you know with luka but you know you can't take away from what everybody else is
doing either so I think he's getting I think he's at where he should be all right let's
sure for this i can you think that lucca deserves more love or
Yeah, we should be.
Okay.
Nice to hear everybody agreeing.
Exactly what he said.
So he's number four right now?
Currently four?
Yeah, I think, yeah.
But it fluctuates every week.
I mean, I know the numbers are crazy,
but still gotta play both sides of the floor.
Yeah, I'm saying.
You think he's gonna be a first thing?
Yeah.
You think he's gonna be a first thing?
Can't argue with the numbers that he putting up.
Yeah, no, for sure.
If he was there on six.
Think about it.
You got, that's what I'm saying.
That's what I'm saying.
That's what I'm asking.
Do he think he's gonna be a first thing?
He's back in the top of off.
And so it's coming.
His position is...
He ain't going to win the motherfucker.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's my thing.
Yeah.
Choker.
Kay.
And they're going to rob Jalen Brown.
Okay.
Yeah, Jaylon Brown's not getting it.
Yeah, I'm not going to answer.
I was just...
Where's looking at on the MVP?
Currently fourth.
Okay.
You see where he's this?
He's at four.
K-5. Donovan Mitchell 6.
Jalen Brown currently 7.
And 8.
Y 9. 9.
Jalen Johnson.
Jason Tatum came back and like, yeah, they're like, yep, I told you.
He just had 40, doesn't know.
I'm just, I missed it.
You know how they do with the man.
The media, that's that.
Just had a 40.
Unfortunate.
Shad, you say you don't respect looking for the defensive effort, but do you think he deserves
more love in the MVP race right now where he has a Lakers situated?
Do I think he deserves more love?
LeBron missing substantial time.
Austin Reeves missing, I think, 26 games.
What is he done new?
Getting buckets.
Consistency.
Same thing.
Same thing, yeah.
Same thing we've been seeing.
So, I mean, if the Lakers were trending two, three in the West, one in the West,
you would look at that consistency to be team revival.
But it's just Luca being Luca.
I think to me, my biggest gripe against Luca is just being a competitor.
I think people misread what an actual competitor is.
You look at how Wemby played both sides of the ball all last.
last night, you know, whether his shot is rolling or not,
he's gonna compete.
And I think when you compete and you wanna actually go
and stop the other guy from scoring,
you wanna actually give effort on the other end,
that's, it says different things about you.
That's why Jalen Brown does deserve more credit
because he actually competes and Kay Cunningham actually competes.
Anthony Edwards actually competes.
They are true competitors.
So you look at the MVP race, it's a lot of it,
without like the true competition of it.
I feel like between Joker and Luca, as good as they are,
you know, team-oriented players,
if they picked up their competitive nature on not so much Joker.
Not so much, not so much,
because he does compete, but he does,
he does have lack of desical moments.
We all do.
He has a lot of lack of deysical moments.
Everybody does.
But Luca for sure, Luca for sure.
Luca for sure has a lot of those non-competitive moments that makes it look like
the other guys are playing at a higher level.
And I think if he just gave more effort, it would be clear.
I think it would be a clear cut one, two, or three.
But the fact that we could see it and we're watching it and you're like, damn, Luca, you don't get back.
You don't help defense.
You don't do not a lot of the things you do on offense.
You don't do on defense.
So I can't give him too much love on that.
But he's been consistent, just like Shay.
Like I said before, Shea has the numbers he has.
He's in number one.
Luca has better numbers.
And he's at number, what they're sitting at four.
Four, four.
So the conversation is always going to either be team success or triple doubles with Joker
and Luca looking like he looks.
So it's- And all of them, I mean, Thunder have dealt with a ton of injuries, Nuggets have dealt
with a ton of injuries.
But they had more cushion to play with.
Yeah.
The Thunder had more cushion to start the season to play with going 24 and 1, right?
You got more cushioned.
So you can, guys can be out and you can still be putting up the numbers that you're putting up and holding the fourth down, miss a few games.
And Luca actually has been available.
Yeah, he's, what, 59 games, you said?
I think he's, 56 games, he's been there.
So he's been there.
So it's, should he, could he be, like, surprised if he was higher?
No.
We would be surprised if he was lower, no, right?
because it's just the people that they got at the first three spots
doing what they're supposed to.
And then if Jalen Brown is in the top four,
we would be like, he deserved to be there as well,
as well as K-8 as well as.
So there's some guys that's going to get left off the final ballot
when it's time to vote that we all think could actual win no war
because of what they've done for their team this year.
Where's Jalen Brown's numbers in comparison?
Because he's about like 28.
Yeah, he's having less points.
Let me provide it for you.
But they're number two.
They're number two in the east, right?
Jaylon Brown this season shot averaging 28.7 rebounds, five assists.
28, 7 and 5.
Those are great numbers.
And I'm looking at Jalen Brown be first team all defense.
He should be first team all defense.
So I'm looking at him being the first guy if we can,
I'm going to say if we can push.
But think about him being first team, all NBA, first team, all defense since that one guy.
Well, not say one sister, that one guy, because Janus, Janus got it.
But looking at Janus and then looking at Wembe, as a guard, like actually going in there and saying, I'm going to do both sides.
That says a lot about the hoop community going back to playing both sides of the ball.
But like I said, you can't take shit away from Luca, man.
Luca's going to be Luca, bro.
But when you talk about pedigree and competitiveness, Jalen Brown has stepped it up.
I think Edwards, if they win more, he'll be able to step it up because he's not really focused.
on scoring a bunch of points, he just want to win.
So it's a good competition right now between all of them.
I like it.
So you talk about competitiveness with Luca.
So Luca named Western Conference Player of the Week this previous week,
dropped 51 on the Bulls Thursday, hit his first game winner
with the Lakers in an overtime win over the Nuggets Saturday,
dropping his 12 triple double this season on Joker and them.
So in the Bulls win, he came an assist shy of dropping a 50-point triple double.
He had 12 points in the first quarter, 39 over the next three-quarter.
So after that game, he talked about what led to his scoring search.
I mean, in the second quarter, I kind of felt it.
You know, somebody started talking to me, so I wake me up.
You know, what's like up on defense, too, then?
Matas.
Purcellis.
I was surprised.
I was shocked.
What was it that was, Curtis Sherry, what was the dialogue between you two?
And I guess what about what he was saying, woke you up?
Your defense sucks.
I didn't say what he said, but, you know, if I was said that, I would definitely.
get attacked. But really, you know, kind of, you know, these games, you know, sometimes you go in
easy and we kind of went easy in the first quarter, so then it woke me up.
Why did it shock you that he was talking to you? I feel you probably talk about, talk with a lot
of guys on this. Yeah, I was surprised. I didn't say nothing. That's probably surprised.
So he talked to you first, that's why. Okay.
Not very nice. I don't even know what to say, honestly.
He started killing obviously when I started talking about it.
I don't know.
I just, you know, as you said, I don't back down to anybody.
Um, I don't know who you are, you know.
And, uh, I took on a challenge and didn't execute.
What do you hope to take away from the experience?
Did they execute?
Um, probably not to talk to him.
You can't run my face.
You just see me fall?
You just see me fall?
I love what media don't.
They can't read the room.
I love it. It just...
Because they gotta do their job?
No, no, yeah.
But it, yeah.
He already got the rude awakening, right?
He got it right there real time, right?
He was talking, I ain't go back down.
50, 12 and what, not.
Don't ask that man.
There's no next time.
You're going to shut the fuck up next time.
Yeah.
100%.
There's no more talking.
All that talking is out the window.
When Luca leave, he'll be talking again.
Luca was surprised because I'm pretty sure he was like,
your game, the way you play, you don't need to be talking right now.
That's usually when somebody's.
But Boozels has been playing well to go in the defense.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, but you're talking to me.
There's a very different levels.
There's levels of conversation.
So, like, when you're playing, Yokej and Luca, LeBron, they're having their own conversation.
If you like a third or four option, you talk the third to four options.
Don't stop the main player one time and then, you're sorry?
Sorry, I can do this all day.
Uh-oh.
The next 10 plays, I got this, yeah.
So that's usually what happens.
He probably had more than Luca at that time.
No, that's what I said.
It was just running off at the mouth.
Feeling good.
If you want to really know how it feels in real life to talk to an NBA player and he responds,
go back to the last part.
Have you ever seen an NBA player respond this way?
I mean, in the second quarter, no, no, no, fast forward.
When Maxis is talking.
And he asks you.
Oh, go to Matas, please, if you can.
Okay, look our production capability.
We got fast forward now.
I think we did that.
Niggins rich.
He didn't know what to say it.
What?
Just watch.
I think he's got to feel what to come.
I don't even know what to say, honestly.
He didn't know what to say?
He didn't know what to say?
He started killing, obviously.
I started talking at him.
I just, you know, as you said, I don't back down from anybody.
I don't know who you are.
There you go.
What you are?
And I took on the challenge and then executed.
What do you hope to take away from the experience?
Hope to take away.
Probably not to talk to him.
He learned something.
Probably not.
Probably not.
Probably not.
What years is this point?
No, man.
Probably not to talk to him.
Damn.
That nigger turned in Napoleon Dynamo.
Oh, my God.
God. Uncle Rico.
You set us up like that.
Remember when he was playing Miami?
No, I don't remember nothing.
And you told me, go out D-Way.
You don't know him yet.
And then he came down.
He said, you're going to do my move?
You'll do my move on me?
But you had the best of him that night.
But he dunked on Javelle the right play after and he got mad.
It was top ten.
Cold.
Well, that's Javelle's fault.
No.
It was Nick Farn.
I don't barred him.
That ain't after because I did the move.
The isolation place.
No, you did Joe John.
Nick, he said, I did the little snatch.
He said, you don't do my move?
You don't do my move?
Call for the ball.
It was like a screen.
You know how he split the screen?
Split the screen.
I said, oh, my God. I said, oh, my God. I said, damn, this is the NBA.
He was in a dark man.
I don't remember one single moment.
I know.
This is 50, 12, and 9.
I don't know, but I'm just saying.
There's a lot of buckets, buckets, buckets, buckets, buckets, buckets, buckets.
He's young.
This is the second year.
How many years is good?
Average in 20 years.
He was feeling his own.
He was feeling his own.
That was his welcome to the NBA moment, basically.
Did he feel like he was positive in the result?
Usually, if you.
thought you did a decent job.
You're going to see, I'm going to just get back to the film, do it better,
and I'm going to get him next time.
He said, I'm just not going to talk to him no more.
This is no more.
No more.
No more.
No, I don't.
Never again is what he said.
I'm just go out there and play basketball, moving forward.
And to make somebody feel like that is crazy.
That's.
Because I still talk.
You would still talk about you, said, George.
Yeah.
But that's you.
Everybody not like that.
But you guys said previous, I think of like Dylan Brooks as an example.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
If you're going to do all the talking, you've got to stand on business.
Yeah, I like Delft.
After it don't work out.
But, hey, for Buzella's.
When Grizzly's Lakers.
Talk about him.
No, Luca wouldn't go or him, though.
You know, it ain't no, it ain't fair.
It ain't fair.
It all is not fair.
It's not fair.
It's not fair.
And then you're like, yeah, I ain't.
Where you go?
Like, look like, who you talking to?
Me?
I was fair.
You know I get this bitch every time down?
But wait, but wait, Luca, before you proceed to the massacre, you gotta have to guard me too now.
Come down here and guard me so I can get my shit back.
You got 10 in the row.
Don't go hiding in the corner over there.
Markets Mark Gorman.
Come on, man.
Don't like that.
And that's the reason why we got Markets smart.
But since you want to talk to me, I'm going to show you.
You shouldn't have been talking.
But I'm taking the challenge.
That's all you. You taking the challenge. That's a personal issue. That's what your personal issue was. My personal issue is 50
12 and 9. I mean you're supposed to be a defense up. I didn't even say no I didn't say nothing to you
I said nothing. I said nothing. I was cruising. I was cruising. I was cruising. You want this work? Come here. Cool. I didn't even say nothing to you right. But I'm average in 20. I feel like at some point I'm going to get my 25 of them on going to be on you something.
See in his head he I got ready everything he's he said something. It's like type. It's like type.
It's like talking to Tiger on Sunday.
Come on, man.
Bad night.
15 shots up.
Question for the couch and light of this situation with Luca and Matas Buzellis.
Can you remember a time in your career when somebody started talking trash to you and you had to shut them up?
Yeah, plenty of times.
Only with the work, man.
The work talk shit, I have to put it down.
That's it.
Ain't nothing happening on that court.
Nobody talks shit to me, man.
Only with the work.
So let's talk over there at the bench.
Look at me.
Hey, there's airball.
But that's the same.
Get your ass in the game,
my ass in.
It's cool.
I took my shit out of my work,
got down,
soon as I got home.
Yeah,
I'm,
I'm going to say my whole basketball.
And it might have been his work, too.
Man, the nigger better not talk too much shit.
I'll fly her out, got down,
you better leave me alone.
Yeah, that's pretty much any time.
And when you got the opportunity, too,
yeah,
and you can do it, you're going to try.
So you just got to have an opportunity.
But I ever surprised, like, I mean,
Luca had to literally look at the box quarter.
I think he did that deliberately
to figure out who it was.
Yeah, he did.
He definitely looked down.
I was like, who is.
Yeah, he know what it is.
He know who it is.
He know what it is.
I mean, for a lot of Hoopers,
I mean, it probably happens to a lot of us
since the first day
we probably picked up a basketball.
I know for me, so it's always been
somebody's talking and trying to prove themselves.
So, I mean, that's the beauty of it, though.
Like, that's what you want.
Honestly, because it brings out the best of you.
You should.
Yeah.
You know, if nobody's talking, you're just out there playing,
it's kind of like, I don't respect you.
So, I'll look forward to that.
Did you ever have a situation like that you can recall in your career?
Never. Everybody was nice to you.
They had to be.
I had one goal in mind.
Oh, man. I'm tired of this.
What, man.
That's up, man.
That's a dick and I'm crazy.
Why?
And I'm tired of this.
This shit, man.
What's the problem?
What's the problem?
What's the problem?
What's the thing is it?
It's just say, oh, boy, I hate you.
I mean, what?
What?
What?
What?
Slavery hate.
Slave hate you.
Like Joe, like what?
What?
Your daddy was in the NBA?
When was your daddy?
When was your daddy?
What was your daddy doing when I was in high school?
What was your daddy?
I don't want to talk about that.
No, I'm just saying, what I'm saying is, turning up.
He heard about me in high school, right?
He thought I was Mexican, right?
Because we read the newspaper.
Who does a Mexican dude average in all these points?
Who is this Mexican dude averaging all that point?
Who is this Mexican dude average and all this point?
See, the problem is, the last, the last person that, that says something to me,
he didn't say directly to me.
He said it to my high school friend, the high school friend told me,
And I told him to tell him good luck, right?
We went in to Crenshaw.
We all know what happened there.
Right.
That's the last person ever talked shit to you.
Yeah, yeah, because once, once,
if they're number one in defense, pressing a whole game,
and you do what you did against them,
it rings around the world, right?
God.
Rangs.
So that means in college, nobody said nothing.
I let the team score in both years.
Don't tell me shit, right?
NBA, average 29, 28.
Shoot all the shots.
Right?
One fourth flat.
You remember that?
One fourth flat.
It was only one player NBA history
that said it out loud.
I did this.
One fourth.
That means if you say anything, tell me.
Huh!
On the island.
That means you had to shut the floor.
When I got on the court.
Or my 29 going to be in your ass.
Whoa.
Okay?
It's cool.
You didn't get there.
But you understand.
When
I
You just
It's past
Hey uh
You're
Can the 29
somewhere else
Hey uh
When you
When you was on Timberwolves
Did you hear any of those players
talking to me?
Nobody's talking to me
Nobody was talking about
Nobody wants to say Gil
38
39
36 38
Nobody want that on their face
They're gonna let me just
Let me get my little 30
And I move on
Not only would you school
You're a shoot
I was like
I was doing this
I was even taught him.
I was taunting people.
You're talking to me?
Babachi.
What happened?
We honestly didn't know if he spoke English or not.
We didn't know he spoke English or not.
He didn't say a lot.
Habi.
He didn't say a lot.
He thought it was in mind.
What happened when they did this, though?
What happened when they did this?
No, when they, that's why you, who was that?
When they did that, I came.
When they did that, I came back the next year, 40, 44, 40, 45.
No, what was going to respond?
64, 41, 32, 54, 39, 36, turn around.
Turn around, turn around, bow, that was next year.
When he came up to you before you were like, I missed it.
And then what happened?
See, we all missed, right?
You remember when you missed and did that?
Never happened.
What happened after?
See, I missed that.
I missed that free throw and I was like, oh, I thought I was going to turn it.
I thought I was going to turn it.
Was Nick Anderson?
I had to go see a specialist just to make sure.
They said when Kobe was going through his shit,
he went to go see this black ops guy.
I want him.
We did black ops for two weeks.
Two weeks did black ops for two weeks.
Came back the next season.
Demon.
Game winners everywhere.
John Winners everywhere.
John Witt.
John, yes.
I was shooting way before the shot came.
What?
Mm-hmm.
See, that's a game.
When I was allowed to do this.
Who's on fire.
Man on fire.
Denzel.
Mm-hmm.
Denziel.
Mm-hmm.
One of a kind.
Yep.
Anyway.
Would you talk to a man who's on fire?
Never.
Never.
Might get burned.
Mike it burned.
You mentioned LeBron.
We talked to Brown a little earlier.
I've been playing at a different level on the defensive instance coming back after missing three straight games.
We've seen them diving on the floor for loose balls against the Nuggets.
Excuse me.
That's the...
That's the headline that did tell her.
That's the headline.
to read that shit.
Yeah.
That's his words.
Defensive, man.
That's his word.
No, but.
He typed that.
41.
He typed on loose ball.
Energy effort.
You seen the cut on his knee.
Geez.
Go ahead, continue.
Embracing the challenge of guarding.
He makes, I just confused.
I was like, damn.
I'll get him.
Kevin Durant in the four-forward.
Did you say somebody cut on the knee?
Mm-hmm.
Diving for a loose ball.
So that was a highlight?
Yeah.
Resort moment in the game?
Have you seen a four?
The hustle.
The hustle effort?
When the last time you see the fours
see the 41-year-old jump on the floor.
When's the last time you seen one?
I'm gonna' shit, I wouldn't do it.
Something on the floor?
It's gonna stay on the floor.
It's something on the floor.
Gonna stay on the goddamn floor.
Don't even pick that shit up.
Somebody is not about to dive towards it.
You're trying to lead by example, man.
Take you 40?
You also talk about him embracing the role of becoming a corner boy.
That's shit you gotta do, man.
So before the Rockies game, Jay-J Reddick was asked about LeBron's role with his squad.
said the best thing for our team is LeBron being the third highest used player.
So you agree with Reddick saying the best thing for the Lakers is LeBron being the third
highest player on that squad?
Third highest use, no.
Wasn't he always that?
Why would you play and use him more than the younger guy?
Why is he third?
You mean why would he say that publicly?
He did say publicly.
Why would you say that publicly?
if we already knew this internally.
I mean, it's even worse, because it's 41.
You got him playing 37 minutes.
What's, you got Rui, you got 8, like,
he's supposed to be playing 30-some minutes.
So that's the problem then, right?
Aiden averaging 27 minutes to Brown.
27, so JJ trying to win, you know, he can't,
you know, you gotta play the best option.
It's his best option to have him out there
as a third option, but on the floor.
So.
Brown playing 33 minutes again.
Yeah, this is about 40.
in the road.
Brand third.
But he still,
remember I said,
LeBron can still be LeBron
any time he wants to be LeBron.
He can cut it on,
keep it on,
whenever he won't.
It's JJ them telling him
to regulate that shit.
Dial it back so we can bring,
just like how they told Cole
to dial it back for Shaq.
The same thing you had to tell Luca,
hey, man,
what you want to do?
You're going to dial it back
so LeBron can
feel like he's a part of this.
Hey, Brian, you got to dial it back
so Austin can feel part of this.
So now, like y'all said earlier,
Austin and Luca now feel
like they're leading the ship and
Brian can play third fiddle.
He can come out and say this shit publicly
because they're moving in the right direction
now. Eight and one, what is it,
in the last nine games? Ninety one in the last
ten. So he feels
like now we got a certain type
of formula with LeBron playing third.
But you've had to have
had those conversations before.
You gotta let Brian know like, look, this is the best formula.
Because he can go out and take over if he want to at 41.
But when was Brian ever the second option?
When they've all been together, AR has always been shooting more on the wrong.
No.
I thought they were trying to make AR the third of us.
I thought that was the issue.
In the beginning, before AR got hurt, when they all was, no, before Brian got there.
Brian didn't start the season.
Yeah, part of the guard season.
Okay.
So, AR was playing well.
And LeBron got there, they started mission.
Then LeBron came back, played number two.
Yeah, right away.
His presence.
Then AR said down.
That's when the rich pauses and all that.
That's when the rich pauses came in.
They was trying to get...
No, I just think it's precious.
And they was trying to get AR out of there.
Mm-hmm.
Right.
So that made LeBron number two, thinking that we would make...
It's just his presence.
Because they were saying, why would you give AR 240 something?
They are still going to take more shots.
They're taking more shots to me.
shots to me. He's showing up. Somebody's words has nothing to do with what you're doing on the
court. You just wasn't hitting. But you're taking, if one, you've taken 20 shots and he's
taking 13, you are the second option. But that's when he's not on the floor, though. Yeah.
So, Braun's taking more shots than Reeves this season, but that's also factoring in, obviously,
Brown missed that stretch of 14 games. When Reeves was playing that all-in-eat-level,
it does seem like Austin had a tendency to defer previously. He's kind of picked up the-
natural though. It's hard not
because it's him. It's LeBron. That's like we've been
saying just like I was just as his
presence is number
two. Facts.
Production might be three right now
but he steps on
the floor with Luca, he's
number two. There's no Luca LeBron
presence is number one.
Just his presence alone
is that for other teams to be like
oh shit LeBron over there, right?
For the fans, be like we still got LeBron.
Got him. Right? So it's still that.
But in order for them to be successful,
then that's the conversation that has to be had, right?
At times, like, this in order for us to win,
like, AR has to take the second-most shots, right?
He's smart enough to do it,
but in winning time, playoff series,
this and the 30s, been there, right?
We got an experience.
So that experience there will overcome a lot of other things
that AR just hasn't experienced, right?
So having been able to have AR as your number two when you need him, first three-quarters,
first three and a half, get tough, we can throw the ball to somebody who we know he knows
how to get filed, the refs respect him, he's been in every situation that we can fucking think
of as a basketball player.
So it's a win-win for everybody, as long as this is the way that it's going, right?
As long as AR realize, you are number two, right?
But this man presence is that.
So when we need to lean on him at certain times
during the playoffs, we don't need you taking a fucking step back
three when we don't need that.
That's all.
That's it.
Because you got to lean on the 27-year-old guy.
I can't have AR's money about you now.
Hmm.
You've been saying that.
The reason is, is AR is playing a different game.
Meaning, we've been there.
We played with players who's been up for their contract.
And the game that they plan ain't the same as everybody else, right?
You got an aggressive game.
Like at the beginning of the season, you're playing one style
because you're trying to bank those numbers.
Towards the end, all you think about is what, not getting hurt?
Right?
So you're not going to put yourself in certain positions.
Like if you look at AR how he played the beginning of the seats, foul, bathing all.
He don't do that now.
He's not trying to get hit like that.
So he's going to rely more on jumpers than he is going in that lane trying to get hit.
So that's a very different game from AR.
So he, like, because he wants to get to the end of the season without being hurt.
Because when you get hurt, that number changes.
They get to negotiate with you now.
As long as he walks out of their healthy,
I want the 240.
So you're not going to be trying to get out of shit.
So any time you can shoot a three,
shoot a jumper, you're going to do it.
You're not going to be sitting there trying to do all that no more.
And that's why he don't get to the free throw line as much.
So guess what, young fella, the best way to do that is defer.
Throw this motherfucker to 23.
Hey, here you go.
That's the case, then, yeah.
Post up, 23, hey, here you go.
Well, that's kind of my issue with the Lakers,
because I feel right now, with you just saying that.
I was thinking about this when I was watching the game,
AR plays the game right now
like he's trying to prove itself
he's trying to make this contract
he's trying to establish himself
as a dominant player
but it has nothing to do with winning
for the Lakers
Luca's trying to win
LeBron's trying to win
so between those two guys
and you got like you should say he's in
it's awkward for him to be number two
because he has his mind on other things
and LeBron and Luca are both trying to win
so where you see AR playing
that aggression is being pushed in certain points of the game where he knows that he can affect the game.
But if they win or lose, it don't matter for him.
He's not thinking we just lost.
He's like, what's my numbers was?
Like, did I look good enough?
Like, that's because he's going into the summer.
He's trying to get paid.
And we know when you try to get paid and that contracts up, you're not thinking about win or losing because you might not be with the team.
Yeah, but I mean, if you win.
more money, though. You don't strike me... Not necessarily. Not necessarily.
Not necessarily.
Not necessarily.
He's thinking about more money.
He's thinking about getting hurt. He's thinking about it.
Winning get you more money?
So what? They get to Western Conference finals?
Yeah.
When he gets more money?
He's balling.
He has to ball.
But let's think, if he get there, if he get there and not balling,
that number goes down.
But he's like, well, not after.
For him to stay with the less is he would take less,
in my opinion.
No, no.
He has to take less.
But he's done it before.
But if he's balling and they take him to the Western Conference Binals, they had to pay it.
He wasn't playing like he is now to take less.
But I think he was like 20 minutes.
He got to bump it up.
No.
How much he got to up it?
Where it was before he went down?
Where was it?
28, right?
28, 29.
So he's done went down to 25.
This is only in the span of four or five games.
He needs.
Everything he needs.
Yeah, he need everything.
Y'all kind of sabotage this man.
This man is out there bowling right there.
No.
His name is not LeBron James Cade or these guys were 25 to 22 gets him the same money.
But this is his first big contract, though.
This is his first big contract.
We can see it out there.
Oh, I can see him.
You miss his first shot.
Fuck.
You can see frustration on shots off.
It's pressure on it, bro.
You played during your contract.
You played a contract here.
I mean, because you.
I mean, too.
This man got 200,000.
Let me correct.
Let me correct, Nick.
I'm not going to say that he's thinking that.
I'll say what Gil just said.
We can see that there's visible pressure on him
that when he's performing,
he may not be focused on the outcome of the game
more than the outcome of his performance.
I need my numbers to be X, Y, Z.
That's why I was saying when he got hurt.
That was because Brian came back.
And I'm not saying that he set out
because he wasn't hurt,
but I'm saying it looked like
LeBron could affect my number.
in my contract year.
And in my contract year, I'm trying to get
240.
So if I want my average to stay at
29, 28, and I got
to sit out with a calf injury for
10 games when I come back,
I'm expected to hit this
28, 29 again.
Guess what he was hitting?
17, 16.
You can see it on his face.
Listen,
Wimby, right?
If Wimby average is 15,
during his contract year.
Max.
Potential.
Max.
He's going to get max.
A.R. needs all of his stats
because his name is A.R.
Gilbert.
Everybody don't, like,
your 25,
don't register like everybody else is 25.
25, 25 for him
and 21 from him,
that's 30, 40 million that he can lose.
So when you see him out there,
and he's going six for 18 and you like go to the basket.
I don't want to twist.
I just miss how many games.
I just miss how many games.
I'm not missing no more games.
I'm just going to keep shooting these jump shots.
Pray they're going.
We'll try to get to the line.
Get to the line is the easiest way to get my points.
We've all played.
We've all played on a contract year.
We all've seen players play on a contract year.
His money is good.
Real different.
We can tell somebody who we know they on a contract year
because they're playing out of pocket.
A.R. money is good.
So it's not good.
It's not good.
Everybody play out of pocket.
A.R. money is good.
It's good.
What is good?
He's going to get paid.
Yeah, he's going to get paid.
He's good.
He don't have to work.
You know, one million is getting paid?
Getting paid what, though?
200.
But he don't even think he probably getting that.
You can't put that.
Y'all don't want to pay him.
So the fact you just keep putting this man down.
You said he don't.
He's not a number two.
Are you about to cry?
No, I'm just saying.
You can't just keep putting it.
I'm not going to say he's out there not trying to win and he's won six games in the row.
They won six games in a row.
I'm asking you a question.
Here, I'm asking you a question.
What is good for what he averages?
Do you think he's going to get paid the same amount as everybody who's averaged 25?
What is Jalen Brown?
Janet Brown averaged what when he got paid what?
Brown like 23, I believe.
He averaged 23.
Do you think he's going to get, how much did Jailen Brown?
$300.
$300.
You said his money good?
Is his money 300 good?
No.
You're not giving him now.
I'm asking you.
I'm asking you putting him with one.
I'm asking you the question.
Like, say, you're putting them with Shane shit.
Like, stop paying them with them with them guys.
I'm asking you.
Compare him to the guys he's compared to.
But his numbers aren't the guys he's going to do.
He's not the number one.
Jayne Brown wasn't the number one.
You got it?
So is this 23?
Is Austin Reeves 23?
25.
But he also played in bigger games?
25.
And he won a championship.
25.
Who?
Who?
John Brown won a championship?
Yeah, I was going to say, did he win the championship when it?
They went to the finals before that though.
Yeah.
And they got his round 50 years.
Again.
They're in the Easton Congress finals every year.
23 is his all NBA.
One average is 23, 300 million.
He's averaging 25.
What is the pay grade difference?
So when you say Austin Reeves is going to get paid, what is that?
90 million, 150 million, 200 million.
Worse?
In case he'll be O.C. Anoblieb without the all-d- he's going to get paid.
He don't have to-15.
Everybody, what is getting paid?
Who? He got two-fif.
O.G got two-fifteen, five for two-fifteen.
I'm saying like 185, 185 to-185.
You get anywhere from 180, 805 to 200.
185 to 200.
185 to 200?
185 to 200.
Yeah.
22.
220?
So DeLam Brown's saying that five-year $304 million contract the summer after he averaged
26, I believe.
He's right there.
So, how much?
27, excuse me.
So Jalen Williams is number two in O KC, right?
Yep.
That's what his number is right.
That's what Austin Reeves is changing.
Him and O.D.
Okay, so if you got offered $90 million and you sitting here, what, a $2.15?
What kind of game do you think he's playing?
What kind of game?
What I'm saying?
What kind of drop?
If he drops to $1.80.
But you're missing the point, Nick, what we talk about is his performance is have pressure on him.
You're like, damn, I'm missing shot.
You act like, oh, no, no, no.
No, no.
Every time I miss a shot, I'm like, fuck, I do that.
Okay.
Everybody does that.
Do you look at the box scores?
Do you look at the box scores after the game?
So I'm not going to say when he missed a shot, he's thinking about his number.
Do you look at the box score after the game?
Yes.
Everybody do, right?
Yes.
Right, because we what?
We care about our performances.
Everybody does it.
Right.
So when it's contract here, you care about every single game because your metric is being compared to other contracts.
You're being compared to the contract.
compared to the other guy in your position.
How much he average?
25.
How much you think he could drop in, what, 15 games?
He was averaging.
He's not going to drop in 15.
He was averaging 32.
He was averaging 32.
He was averaging.
What I'm saying is everything matters.
Let's say he dropped.
Think about what we're saying.
If he's 25 right now, let's say he finishes with 23.
What do you think the impression is from everybody around there, those last 15 games of his
performance. You just had
you, you're minus two on your score.
That means you have some sixes, some five, some tens.
Like you've played, that's bad.
Amen.
That all that, that, we watch Clay Thompson.
We watch Clay.
If you could score like this for Luca and LeBron on the court,
you deserve everything.
Did we watch Clay Thompson?
We had, we watched Clay Thompson go through the worst career,
worst year of his career.
What was it?
19.
19. 19. 19.
19.
It was, it was his what?
He didn't get paid.
It was after his-
Remember, no, no, no, he didn't get paid.
He didn't get his extension.
They said, play for it.
Yep.
How'd he play?
Terrible.
It was, yeah.
Still, like.
Bringing him off the bench?
Like, you know, what you think he was?
Of course he wanted to win his four-time champion.
But his, his money's on the line.
And the pressure kicked in.
Every shot, he wanted it.
Every, I want every shot to post.
I remember that year.
Yeah, every year was terrible.
It was a pressure year.
Come on, man.
We all been there.
But you think about.
what he's saying. He's saying you're going from 30, 30 a game to 23. They say we go not from 25. He'd go minus from now.
But why didn't do that? Because who came? No, no, no. Wait. It don't matter. It don't matter.
Because what the metrics and the perception is going to be, you were overrated for the points that you had at 2830. So now that it's down to 23, is the 23 to real you?
The perception going to be, you could average that if you were one. We don't know because you're, no, no, that's.
That's the process.
I agree.
Listen.
The percentage is.
I can do that.
When Lucas them out, he's always 30 or 40 anytime.
So, you can't say that.
Nick, Nick, which one are we paying for?
And when they come back, somebody controls the ball.
Which one is?
Which one are we fan for?
I get what you, I get what your argument.
It is, then it's reality.
Yes.
The reality is averaging 25.
But which one are we paying for?
Are we paying for 30 a game, Austin?
We're number three.
Weird.
Listen to what I'm saying.
He was averaging 30.
He's down to 25.
Why was he averaging 30?
Because he had certain people, wasn't on the floor and all that.
So listen, so this is a certain version of Austin Reeves, 30, that we seen.
We were like, this is Nicole, are we getting him or are we getting backseat?
I'm playing timid.
Which one are we getting?
So the 30, I mean, 25 is still, I mean.
No, we're getting bold.
I mean, 25 is playing with all three guys on the floor.
Right, right, right.
Right.
It's regulated.
Right.
So that means wherever he goes, he's going to have to play with...
Well, he's going to get paid as a number two, man.
And then when number one is out, he'll be coming the number one.
So he's going to pay...
Because Spurs won him.
But if he goes there, he'll be number one of them.
Utah.
They're going to have to move his people because he can't be number two there.
Because he is going to go in...
What I'm saying?
He's getting $200.
You got to remember, the Lakers, what team out there will you pay him to be a number two?
With that type of money?
There's teams out.
Somebody who already established.
It's a few teams.
They might have somebody who has established number one already.
Brian, they win.
Right?
The magic, the magic.
The Grizzlies.
They need help.
The Grizzlies.
The Grizzlies.
Utah.
From that area.
Detroit needed number two.
Portland.
He don't have a number score.
Portland needed them.
He might be in Portland.
He might be in Portland.
I'm number one.
I'm thinking, Milwaukee.
I'm thinking it's 220.
It depends on, if he stay where he had
or he goes somewhere that has an established number one already, right?
They have to have established number one in order for him to be.
But if you go somewhere where you can pay him as a number one, then it's...
The question is here, if he stays with the Lakers, does he keep 25?
Yes.
Does he stay here?
Where we see him now, is this the Austin Reeves Laker number two we're going to get?
What's wrong with it?
That's the ultimate question.
But remember, LeBron is not going to be there for the longevity to do that.
So would he go up?
Yes.
Yes.
Of course.
Either.
Or staying at 21.
I understand that.
Yeah, or stay 25.
What's wrong with a number two averaging in 25?
But what the-
The original conversation is the pressure that's on him to get that 25 and to keep it or to go up.
That's what I'm saying.
Yeah, next year, he'll be good.
This year, the pressure that we're seeing is that he looks like he's really focused on
proving that I can be a number two.
I did.
You have to, I mean, I'll be down here for the Laker.
He's got a number two, so he's proven that.
Listen, I averaged, he averaged 20 last year, 20.
They offered me 90 million.
Yeah.
Meaning, I had 90 million in my pocket.
I'm like, I'm going to bet on myself.
He did.
Okay.
Do you really think it's about winning?
I'm betting on myself.
You just hear what he said.
He just put it in perspective.
Okay.
So what is that?
I believe I'm better than that.
So do you think I give a fuck about if we win a championship?
You think I care about if I average 25.
You tell me which one.
I mean, what about both?
You tell me which one.
You tell me which one.
Tell me which one are you focused on at this point of the season.
It's the roster.
That's why we see it.
I'm focused on both.
I'm focused on both.
Reality is like he said, I don't want me to cut you off, but reality is like you said, you look at both, right?
Why can't it be both?
But the reality is this Lakers team, no one thinks is going to win the team.
championship this year.
Right?
That's the reality.
That's the reality that they're not, the roster is not built to win a championship.
So is Austin thinking in the back of its mind?
I don't think we're going to win a championship, but I want to, I'm going to go out
to compete.
And I want to average my 25.
So, I mean, but I mean, but if the morale around is that we're not winning the championship,
I mean, of course I'm going to go.
I bet I'm going to go get my mom.
I mean, there's nothing, there's nothing else.
I'm betting on myself.
I'm not betting on my team.
I'm better on myself.
By the end, you still play.
So let me ask you a question.
If he gets, it's different.
Okay, let me ask you a day.
He bet on himself 90 million.
Let's say in the playoffs, they put him to the bench.
They win the championship.
You think he's happy?
No.
Okay.
Who's happy?
Who's in life happy?
I'm asking.
Fucking who's in life happy?
Eagle Dalla was happy.
Man, shut.
Yeah, tell me to shut up.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, when?
You just told me to you.
Was you happy?
When?
You asked me?
You asked me a question.
Was you happy when you were?
Was you happy when you were?
You got drunk at the parade?
When Equal Dollar got to the bench for Harrison Barn and they won a championship and he won
was he happy?
Hell yeah, he was happy.
He was final ZIP.
Now if you want a contract year and they put you to the bench and y'all won a championship,
your money's affected.
Are you happy?
No, you're not happy.
So don't tell me you won both.
There's one that's in front first.
And the one that's in front first is the one you put your family.
on the line for I put 90 million down.
Okay, but let's say I can play better.
So he's talking about it.
So sacrifice.
Okay, but let's be.
He's be,
like, let's be.
Let's be, reality.
Like, like, if the Lakers get to,
they're not putting Austin Reeves to the bench.
So that's not, like, that's irrelevant.
Like, like, that will be, okay,
so we're getting to the playoffs.
Now we're going to put our number two.
Like, that's not going to, like, that's not even reality.
It's not a half.
Man.
You think if he did he average 10 points?
I thought if he averaged.
I thought we don't live in a lane.
No, I said, I don't argue.
I said that shit.
Hey, press my...
No, I said I don't argue.
I said I don't argue in that lane.
There's no point of arguing in that lane.
So why are you arguing?
I'm not even talking to you.
I'm talking to you.
I'm talking to you.
You keep going forward.
Back up.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Just back.
Just go back right there.
Just back right there.
Let me and him finish this conversation.
Shit, you sound like you want to cry.
This is so easy.
Oh, man, I love all the reason.
For the quarter boys, man.
Man.
Man, man.
The corner boys, man.
And to be honest.
You should be one who should be speaking real facts.
Not with your feelings.
Set enough tickets.
Because I can go to the, I can go to two people's stat sheet who was free ages the same year.
One got paid, one didn't.
What's the difference?
I don't know what you're talking about.
I know.
You're all right.
I'm just saying.
All numbers ain't the same numbers is all I'm saying, so stop, stop, stop it.
Tell these people the truth that some people need to do different things.
No, everyone doesn't because everyone is not valued the same outside of their organization.
It's a unique situation, too, bro, because you got to think, your numbers don't matter to me.
If I, you're number two over there, I want you the third.
I want you the third option.
I might not need you number two.
I might want you as the third option.
So I'm going to pay you this.
Either you're going to take it or not.
Any other.
getting $90 million nowhere.
No, you get more than that.
What you're fighting for right now
makes sense for any other scenario.
But this one particularly
because he bet on himself
and he dropped the 90.
Everybody bets on himself.
But for this one, he had money on the table.
He had money on the table.
So for you to say no to this money
and say next year I have to
increase my production
to go higher tier for the level I want to get to.
Now, if our team...
Four for 90 versus five for whatever
you're going to get beyond that.
No, no, no.
No, I'm saying, the team success, the team success going from six to four,
we're four in the West, where we've been contenders all year.
We have a team that's not built for a championship,
but we can play for the finals.
We can play for the playoffs.
He's bet on himself, so he's thinking, like his thinking is,
I have pressure on me to increase so that when I bet on myself,
that I don't even out.
They're going to come back
and give me the same shit
that I just dropped on the table.
So if I want more,
I have to increase.
And that increase comes to pressure.
It has to, with that pressure.
But you can see the pressure.
But he's not going to go back to 90.
No, no, in the 15 games
it's not going to drop to 90.
No, but we've seen it.
But wait, before these last four games,
wait, hold on.
I agree with you.
That's what I'm saying.
Pull up the stats where he had,
where I think he had like five straight games,
maybe, where it was like 15, 13, 13,
But he had some bad games.
It looked like, to me, I was like, man,
they got Austin going backwards now.
They got Austin going back.
If I better myself $90 million and get back the same $90 million I lost.
He can't get $90 million.
He's not getting $2.40.
Is he getting $240?
I don't know if he's getting $2.40, but he's not getting $9.
He had a stretch of like $9.
Was it nine games?
It'll be close to the $200 than $200 than $19.
Nick, for $185.
Nick, it was nine games that he had where he was going like this.
Sub 20-point games.
Sub 20, right?
So this is where I...
Just came, let's put it all in the content.
So we're going to put it all the content.
So we're going back from injury.
It's a long time season.
So how it looked, it looked like he was going back to what they offered him.
It looked like he was hurt.
No, it didn't.
No, it looked like.
It looked like he was battling second or third option.
It looked like I didn't know my place on the floor.
What is that?
The coach.
So therefore.
So what I'm saying, what I'm saying is when you're,
When you're an athlete in that position, you're nine games trying to figure out how I'm going to get back to 28?
And I just came back from me in.
Right?
Nine games in.
That's a troubling area where we're all watching.
We're like, damn, bro.
Austin don't look the same.
Two games in a scene.
Y'all acting like we haven't had players who is having a good year.
They're winning.
We haven't.
You know, I haven't had players who's having a good year in their contract year.
And them last 10 games come and they're injured.
and it go down
oh man
to keep the average
because they want to finish where they
they want to finish where they
they they
are they team
but they can't do that
no you can't do that with the Lakers
so you so
I can't pick an issue
so you mean to tell me
hold on so with that statement
you're saying that the team
that's fighting for a playoff spot
that's third fourth
fifth six a team that's fighting
for a playoff spot
and their number two
got us helping the team
that has stake at one
winning and losing, has staking winning and losing.
The team is fourth to fifth.
Scottie Piffin did it.
Scottie Piffin did it.
Scottie Piffin.
Give my money.
Against mine.
One game?
A lot of people did it.
So he didn't finish the season.
He literally did it with the Bulls.
He told he finished the season.
He didn't finish the season.
It was a playoff, I believe.
Huh?
I think it was a playoff.
A playoff game?
A series maybe.
I can't remember exactly.
I remember that Scottie did it.
I'm not buying that.
Scottie did it.
I'm not buying that.
Mike was mad that Scottie did it.
He said his back.
said his back was hurt.
Something.
My hell.
Some.
But it was contract.
It was contract related.
It was contract related.
I think he had back spasers.
So the man couldn't have back spasers,
what y'all was saying.
The man got six championships.
I'm not going to let y'all shit on Scott.
Nobody's walking back.
They came out and said, they talked about it.
They talked about it.
Public.
They talked about it.
They said it like Scottie was mad.
Like, Scott, how are you pulling this shit with us?
Right now.
All right.
Cool.
It's one game.
The Tony Coup goes.
That was one.
That was one day.
All of that shit.
Okay, cool.
They won a championship that year.
The team that's fighting for fourth, fifth, six, the team that, that's,
team right now, the team that's, the Lakers are, that's in this position,
go put this, I'm going to sit out the last 15 games so I don't get hurt.
Like, no, that's, no.
All right, let's keep this thing.
He's never seen that before.
No, not, not.
A team that's in the basement.
Not 1100.
The team that's in the basement that ain't fighting for nothing, Gil, absolutely I've seen that.
Yes, a team that's, they ain't fighting for shit.
contract year
hell yeah
pull up lame at the end of the year
so my numbers up
my percentage
that's the same thing
as niggas that don't shoot the ball
what are the Lakers fighting for?
Five four, three, two
and shoot that
what are the Lakers fighting for it okay
and when that player does that
that's just his contract year
just oh period
though
no Chonson's just do it all time
contract year or not
Mm-hmm
Chris Fawkes
he don't want to fuck a bit
field goal percentage
three four percentage so three to one
and then shoot the bitch
players do it all the time
because they don't want their
field goal
percent of the day, three-part percent is the drop.
Yeah, but in a contract year,
I understand if the team is
in the basement, yes.
I'm a pull up lame,
so my 26, 7,
and I'm shooting 50, 40,
80, 81, whatever it is.
Yeah, the numbers don't change.
I'm all for it because I can go out this bitch
the last five, six games, 15 games,
and another dude that ain't
been doing what I'm doing, he's still trying
to get his numbers, so he's going to be out of that
motherfucker going into his doctor,
His Hezzy tween, Twin, Twain.
Hensie Twins.
What are the Lakers playing for?
Well, I'm not in the playoffs.
They solidify in the playoffs.
Yeah.
So if they're not a basement team, they should end the playoffs.
They're a basement team that's not trying to win the championship because the roster,
because you said the roster's not built for a championship.
So what are we playing for?
Austin Reed.
And I'm gonna do what Gil say the way he's playing.
I'm gonna make it look good.
I'm gonna come out this bitch.
I'm gonna avoid going to the basket to roll an ankle.
I'm gonna make it look good,
but I'm gonna shoot jump shots.
Shooting jump.
So he ain't sitting out.
He's just going about it a different way.
But I still have to preserve my averages.
Yes, for sure.
I'm going to do that.
I'm going to perform.
I still have to perform.
Luca's going to sit out a couple games.
Brian Angle beer,
so I'm going to be out and going to get my 42.
Am I thinking about winning?
He's going to be able to get one of those games.
Am I thinking about winning though?
Yeah.
Remember, that's right.
Yeah, remember at this point, at the same time, yes.
At this point in the season.
At this point in the season.
You're still looking at the win.
Right?
You don't, you don't, you don't, gave them your check.
You gave them your check.
Makes them looks better.
And they back there counting it.
That's where we are right now.
You don't gave them the check.
This blank.
And they just sitting there counting.
You just sitting there like, yeah.
Making sure nobody coming out of age, sir, can we speak to you in the back?
It's like the lottery.
It's like the lottery thing.
I'm seeing my money cash in right now.
Like yesterday's game.
Did he look happy?
They won.
New York, 25.
They won't.
They won't yesterday.
Chicago.
Chicago 30.
Denver 32.
I mean,
that's a bad shooting night.
We won.
Okay.
We got to keep the same energy.
But he ain't going to let everybody see it, but down low.
Everybody madman ain't have a fucking bad shooting night.
Stop.
All right.
Well, let's keep this thing moving.
It's official Austin Reef Diffport for the best.
I'm just so happy.
I miss all my shots.
Yeah.
Let's keep it moving.
I'm going to fuck out of here.

Like me no more, man. So seeing double teams, nothing new for Kevin Durant. With Durant often calling the strategy a gimmick or junk defense because it typically isn't sustainable. Well, the gimmick
work for the Lakers Monday with KD putting up just two points in the second half on one of five shooting.
Those points came in garbage time on a layup with about 30 seconds ago in the game.
Lakers also forced six of Durant's seven turnovers in the second half,
including a flagrant foul when he pushed Austin Reeves midway through the third quarter
and an eight-second violation in clutch time in the fourth quarter.
So Durant was asked about dealing with the Lakers double teams after the Rockets lost,
offered this response.
Kevin, what are some of the things that can be done to avoid those double teams with you?
at the top of the key.
I mean, I don't know.
You got to ask, I don't know.
I don't know.
I think we just got to convert.
You almost didn't.
Maybe I got to just get out the way, get in the corner,
space to flow out for other guys.
I think just that when I get the ball,
getting certain teams, they're just going to settle out
and just say, you know, we're just going double
and play a little zone behind it and see what happens.
And if we give an open shots, that's cool.
But maybe I just need to get out the way.
You know, be honest.
Set screens, be able to be ready to catch and shoot.
Just space to fly for my teammates, you know.
It's been happening throughout the season, but, you know,
I'm starting to figure out I think I just need to get out the way
and let other guys dribble the ball.
Just needs to get out the way, let other guys dribble the ball.
Like I said, dealing with those double teams, swaggy.
You want to be a corner to a bad.
We're not accepting him yet.
NBCA?
Hold on, I'm going to do your favor, Katie.
I'm going to finish your sentence for you.
Hey, you need to go ask Emma.
And you need to go ask the coach.
Like, I'll finish it since you can't say it.
Yeah, he won't.
Like, I'll finish it for you.
Go ask him why he got me in this situation constantly throughout the season.
You imagine how he's looking at the clipboard and the huddle.
He's looking in the huddle, like, we're doing this again?
Go ask him why we ain't got no plays besides this.
Quit putting me in the picking roll so they can double me.
You got me bringing up the middle of the floor every possession so they can double me.
So he's really being the corner, like he's saying.
He's saying maybe I should get out of the way, but you're being the decoy.
They're trapping you at the top of the key so they can play backside basketball.
But the backside guys that you're depending on and guys that's going to make the right plays.
So you're throwing it to Finney, you're throwing it to aiming, like Josh and Kobe.
If they get it, even I've seen what's Big Boy number 10?
What's his name? Jabari.
He got the ball right there.
They just won't shoot that little mid-range right there.
Yeah, they need a point guard.
That's been there.
A good point guard.
That's been there.
Reefs up and in the point guard.
They do need a point guard.
They need motherfucking people who can make a basket.
And they need a point guard.
I need a shooter.
I need a shooter.
He's averaging six and six and eight.
I need a shooter.
No,
turnovers.
It makes it easier for Kaye.
They need a point guard.
No, no, no, no.
Okay, if they're doubling KD, right?
If they're doubling him, what is the point guard going to do to stop the double?
Nothing.
He needs a point guard that can score.
So Katie, Katie's effective when he has a point guard, right?
What's the guy got hurt?
That's Fred.
That's Fred.
I got.
That's Fred is a scoring point guard.
, Frank.
Fred.
Okay.
Reed Shepard is a better scoring point guard than Fred VanVee.
But he's going to go.
He's a way better scoring point guard.
Wait, what?
Reed Shepard is a better scoring point guard than Fred Van Vleet.
100%.
Fred is a better facilitator.
He can actually go out there and find shit, but you don't need that.
You need somebody like Reed that can go get you some firecracker buckets.
That's what he's been doing.
It's the other guy.
It's the three and the four.
Yeah, man can't score.
Yeah, no, you're saying it wrong.
They can't shoot the ball.
So if you're doubling me and you're comfortable doubling me and I pass the ball and you know they can't shoot, I'm going to keep doing.
Man.
I'm going to keep double.
Okay.
But we've been saying it since they need a point guard that can score.
They need a one of those type of players.
I need one of those type of players.
I need shooters around me.
So you can't double me.
You need dogs.
If I pass the ball, I got dogs.
38%.
I have dogs.
You need 38% three points.
I have dogs.
They would be a different team with Van Bleak.
I need shooters, bro.
You need niggas that can hit a 37, 38% clip from the three.
Eason, Jabari, they are inconsistent with hitting that bitch from 35%,
34%.
You need more consistency out of them.
Okay, so all he needs is just shooters.
It was five for two.
There was five for 26.
Right.
Jabari should be, but he's not.
He's getting double.
He's a guy.
Akobe is not a, no, he's a, he's streaky.
He's streaky.
Reesh up, there's the only shoot out there that you can put out.
Sangoon, Ben, out.
Jayshan Tate is not a shooter.
That's not a rotation.
They're in the zone.
So them dudes are not shooters.
Okay, so what's...
They're dogs, like, to this point.
They're dogs.
They're going to defend.
They're going to do all the little shit we need to win.
That's why they third, right?
That's why they are where they are.
But you need shooters, guys...
To capitalize on these strategies.
That's a strategy.
Jay-J's like, we're going to make them beat us on the back side with the...
We're going to live or die with them shooting these jumpers.
So what was the issue last year?
So what was the issue last year?
Young, I don't know.
This young?
Yeah.
Not having a go-to guy.
It was a big issue for them.
Okay.
Now they were young, they didn't have a go-to guy, and then we get rid of everybody.
So we give up on everybody, and then we get this.
If Fred goes out, then it changes everything.
Fred went out.
Fred tears us AC up, then it changes everything.
I'm saying?
So Fred was there.
He could shoot too.
We got off jail and bring Katie in because,
We think we can depend on KD more in the fourth than we could, Jalen, right?
More consistent, more this.
We think we got everything else that we need.
We can bring Reed along Shepard, let him become who he going to be.
Stephen Adam.
Right.
What happened what's saying?
He heard it right now.
And he hasn't he having a down year.
I'm going to say, yeah.
I'm going to say last year.
I'm going to say last year.
Before he was last year, we would step up this year.
He ain't took that.
So did he because of Katie?
Red going down hurts as well.
So do you think because of KD though?
Because he came in because last year he was the ball was always in his hand.
San Gungan's the Alper.
Is it played the all-star?
He's the all-star.
And with down-up.
Every since the burn-in situation, he's been fucked up.
He's been fucked up.
He's been fucked up.
He's like, oh.
You can still play through Alpine because KD doesn't affect him, right?
Remember, he's not on the floor.
So if he's not on the floor, we're going to double him.
Right?
Every time.
The big man's on.
W, let everybody else shoot the ball.
Do that mean shoot threes, though?
No.
That's what I'm saying.
But they don't know what to do on the back side.
We're not playing man.
We're doubling you.
We're sitting in a zone.
Cey's a triangle.
They're doing a triangle and triangle in two.
Nick, guess what?
Zone.
Three other people.
And you got four of the people.
Yeah, shoot.
Guess what, Nick.
So when you get in double and you throw it to Draymond Green,
what is my standing.
Thank you.
And what teams are going to do?
Shoot.
Shoot, Drey.
My mind is not shooting.
Shoot.
Cutting.
You got a cut.
He got a ball.
But look.
No, no road.
A man can shoot that middy.
He can shoot a free throw line.
They don't shoot those.
But he can't.
He can.
They don't make it from there.
No, making it from there.
So there's two people right here.
Shooting it is a good.
Now I'm not supposed to shoot a three just to shoot it.
But you're open.
Shooting the shot is good.
I'm open if I step in too, though.
Everybody can shoot.
I can step in.
Can you shoot?
She can shoot.
I can step.
Making it is what we're talking about.
They need shot makers.
You can shoot it right here.
They need shot makers.
That's what they said.
I can't stop.
We all can shoot.
You can shoot.
You can't make the shot.
He can't make shots.
He can't make shots.
I'm just saying, he can shoot.
You can't make them.
You know what?
See, everybody won't shoot us.
You need shot makers.
You need shot makers.
I know when I get to you.
No, you need shot maker.
Remember I saved you.
Huh?
Hey, yeah.
Shoot it.
All the shot.
Like this.
Like this.
All the shot.
Remember.
You had the gun.
I'm going to steal a kid's arena.
I had to take it down from your head.
I had to take it away.
There's more to life.
There's more to life.
It was like baby boy Melvin, remember?
Man,
Melbourne came in with the tie.
Come on.
Come on.
Come on.
Come on.
Remember that?
It was just like that.
It's going to be okay.
Melmere came in with that child.
No, dog.
Tears in his eyes.
Remember he was mad and shit?
Never came in.
Guns and butter, baby.
Guns and butter.
Guns and butter.
Guns and butter.
And they're waxing his mom's.
That was captain.
And they're waxed it.
Making cakes and shit.
Yeah, I saved you.
Yeah, I saved you.
Yeah, I saved you.
Yeah, I remember that.
Young, motherfucker.
I didn't want this life, no, boss.
You know, man.
Don't be bad.
The real estate.
I understand between why he, the gun.
Think about your family,
that's what I was thinking about.
I don't want to be hitting no,
stop, man.
Be in the boat.
I don't want to be hitting it.
Lord, come get me.
Come on.
said shit in the wild.
They can't stop in.
Hey, man, will it be smart for them to step in?
No.
Or you think they're teaching them to shoot.
You don't think they are stepping in, bro?
No, no.
No.
Did you like the game?
I'm open.
I'm going to shoot this bitch.
I'm open.
I'm going to shoot the three.
Did you watch it?
They were breaking a lot of shit, getting a lot of offensive rebounds.
Bro, the whole strategy was to get the ball at the free throw line and make a play.
A couple times they got the ball.
They bounced past into A minute.
He dunked that bitch.
Sometimes they got it.
They threw the live to him.
But when they dropped and that two, it was a two, basically a two one two defense.
So they trapped them at the top.
Once they passed it, they dropped back and they made them pass to the corners and shoot
the corner threes.
I do you miss five straight.
How do you start your warm one?
Five spots and back out.
Then you back up.
Shooters.
Bro.
You normally make all your middies, right?
Yeah.
No one's right.
No one's going to go before.
No one's right.
Popcorn popping.
Hey, smell the popcorn.
It's different than you just.
just in there with no popcorn with no lights.
That's just a perfect easy shot.
I would rather have that shot than a three to start.
We take that because we shoot the ball.
Think about guys who don't shoot the ball.
Like this is like-
Guys who don't shoot.
They hesitate.
You got the back door.
All you do is just get the little layups.
But we need you to hit this shot.
You wide open.
Yeah.
Fuck, my, my, man.
I was that six flags.
You were at six flags like you?
They still have fun.
Okay.
Ain't it getting shut down?
Yeah, Funnel case cracking, but the rise is getting shut down on that shit in the way.
You got picking shoes.
Man, I was thudking a hell.
Hey, yeah, when they lowered the bar, I feel a cramp coming.
Hey, I say, motherfucker ain't here?
I'm trying to be kid that.
If it ain't the shoulder joint.
I got it rise by myself, go, I have to turn this.
Yeah, all that.
He's hitting.
Ten of night is cracking.
Uncomfortable in that nose.
Uh-uh.
Fuck that.
All right.
Joint side they went to they got the height restriction on the thing.
I'm like, yeah, I'm too tall for that one.
Well, we let's see.
Nah, I ain't going to even try.
Lessing.
I'm not going to be right here.
Hey, hey, Aiton.
Aitin.
Eighth.
No, no, Ait sland.
No, he slanded himself.
No.
He's playing with him.
You can't say you're not a certain person.
And then when you play that person, you are that person.
Seven and eleven, Gil.
Seven and eleven.
Nine and eight.
Who he's saying now?
You don't supposed to want to be like him, right?
Clutch buckets down the strike?
I don't know.
So that means you had two the whole time then?
Is that what you said?
He had two to four.
Turned it on in the four.
What I'm saying is if you don't want to be that player, when you play that player, don't
be that player.
Oh shit.
Yeah, you show us that you're not that.
Show us not.
You showed us.
This is you.
Facts.
That's his problem.
He always trying to show everybody saying, yeah, pass the ball here.
I want to show I can do this floater.
I want to show this shit.
But he's not getting no love.
He's not getting no love.
He's not getting no love.
You know what?
That's why he got trained it.
from Chris Paul.
You know what you gotta do?
You know, you know they do it every year.
It's gonna be the last game of the season, the last two games of the season, everybody's not gonna play.
It's gonna be him out there and they're gonna feature him the whole time.
35.
Do you?
Hey, hey, double his eye.
Neal score him.
Do you.
My fuck, for 45.
Now you ask Clint Capella.
Five for 45.
Now you'll ask Clint.
All right.
They're gonna break you.
They're gonna break you.
They're gonna break you.
We don't want nobody to cut.
We don't want nobody to get.
Open.
All right, let's keep this thing moving.
It is our first day in the new studio.
We're trying to make sure that the YouTube is still working.
So go ahead and hit that like button, trying to see something right quick.
What you're trying to see?
Yeah, I'm trying to see if the like button works.
Let's see if they're here.
There's only one button that working this bitch.
Okay.
How many likes they got?
That was easy.
Is it the thumb up to like?
It's the thumb up to like, hit the thumbs up.
Why don't you just give them a goal?
Hey, get the $2,500 before we end it.
Boom.
How many people in the chat?
I don't believe in the goals.
I never had three going on.
We got close to 20,000 people in the chat right now,
can you, 19,000?
That's a good number.
Run it up.
It's a cool Tuesday.
Back to basketball, our last topic of a good day
before we take off.
SGA currently the front runner to win a second straight MVP.
This past Thursday, Shea Etch's name in the record books,
breaking a tie with Wilk Chamberlain to set the record for the most.
consecutive 20-point games in the NBA history.
Let's take a look at what went down.
Record record second, record setting bucket came midway through the third quarter
of the Thunders went over the Southwitch when SGA hit a midi.
And Bay,
Shireman's Grill, finished the game with 35 points and 9 assists, going 13 for 18 from
the field, 127 straight games.
The SGA celebrated the record with a trip to the grocery store on rocking an unreleased
zipperless pair of his Converse-E-O-1 shoes, which was a callback to this viral moment from
season two of Netflix's starting five series.
Ever repeat an outfit?
Oh, never.
That's impossible.
Yeah, nah.
Unless it's like going to a grocery store.
You wear gray sweats and a black hoodie.
But like to a game? No, never in my life.
No.
You go to the grocery store?
Oh, no, I don't.
So as if the 127 straight games with 20 or more points
wasn't impressive enough, SGA scored 20 plus
through three quarters and 113 of those 127 straight games
with the thunder going 103 and 24 during that stretch.
So again, when you look at this record,
we've talked about a previously, but how big of a deal is SGA
pass and wilt with the most consecutive
20-point games in NBA history?
It's probably, outside of
Bill Russell's 11 rings,
it's probably the biggest
milestone
the NBA has had.
And to be honest,
it's being treated like it's not
something.
Like this was
a pop, this was a
impossible thing he did.
The person who held it was Wilk Chamberlain,
who was more athletic,
stronger, jumped higher than everybody in his era.
The reason that Shay got a chance to beat is
because they kicked him out of the game with four minutes into it
where he would have had about 300 of them.
Because, I mean, I can respect, you know,
Wilts, but for the most part, there wasn't even
goaltending. Offensive
goaltending when he played. So
majority of his basket, he blocked his
teammate shot to get it.
They took a jump shot, he just
intercepts it and made it himself a lob.
Right? So a lot of his points came from
there's new rules now. So the fact
that a guard...
It wasn't a goaltending back then? No, it wasn't offensive
goaltzing when he first started. They had to pull, they pulled
that in. Oh shit is getting ridiculous
now. So he's the re... That jumps
A jump shot looks short.
Yep.
Let me just grab it.
You know what, that jump shot looked like a jump shot.
Let me just go ahead and put this in.
That's sick.
So the fact that you have a guard who did this is impossible.
I mean, it's possible because he did it.
But you know how mentally focused and dowed in you have to be?
This is crazy.
Like a bad game is 20-something.
something points for him.
That means, like, you know, when you have a bad shooting night, you know, Katie getting doubled,
like he's done seen it all in the last hundred and something.
And still has done, this is one of the biggest benchmarks that NBA has seen from an individual
standard.
Because if we go back and say, we'll take away his, the goal, we call goaltending now,
offensive goaltending, we should see where his number really was.
Well, they introduced that summer of 61, he started that streak, I believe.
Is it?
Is it because who it is, though?
Who?
Because then they make it like a bigger issue when LeBron was doing like the double-diff,
10 plus points.
Yeah, double digit streak.
We're 1290 games.
That's a lot.
1,20090 games.
I mean, shit, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's what I'm saying.
All of it, all of it is impressive, man.
Yes.
When somebody holds 40 points five times, nine times straight, that's impressive.
You gotta be doubted.
This is the NBA.
This is crazy.
This is crazy.
When people, when you're talking about, like, dialed in.
This is crazy.
These guys are making this shit look normal.
It's not.
When Westbrook did them four years, not normal.
Because people trying to stop it.
That's the thing.
People trying to stop it.
That's the thing about it.
83, bam.
People are trying to stop.
Not normal.
People are trying to stop.
Is the game better?
It depends on when you started watching basketball.
The competition.
You know what I mean?
Like, you know, like 80s?
That was the first time they said.
They think that era was better.
Right?
90s basketball, you're going to think that era is better.
It's whatever error you grew up on.
When did you fall in love with basketball?
That's the era that's better.
I just realized something.
I'm really disappointed in LeBron.
Wow.
What do you do now?
He should have had it.
Huh?
He should have had it.
He should have been.
He should have been him.
You got the 1,290 games of 10.
I don't think he was privy to this record.
I don't think he.
I'm hating on that, though.
Huh?
He was hating on the 10 points.
He's just trying to get 10.
Which is more important.
More impressive.
What I'm saying is like
12-100 games with 10.
The Ron could have done this.
How many years?
How many years?
Two years it took Shay to do this, bro.
1,200 games for 10.
1,200 games.
That would never be, bro.
She did this in two years, bro.
This record was in two years.
Still going.
Yeah, and he's still going.
And he's still going.
Ron did this 10 shit for 20 years.
Come on, bro.
Come on.
If he was thinking, if they told him.
year five, you have this many 20-point games
that you could be built.
He don't need the world.
He would have never, he would have.
No way.
Shays is coming.
Brown was nearly 19 years long.
19 years long.
Is it 197?
Which one is more impressive?
That's more impressive.
The night, okay, so what LeBron did, that's, I mean, you're talking about, I don't know if anybody is going to do that.
Because I know Jordan did that shit too, right?
LeBron, T-J.
Had to be close.
He had to be close. He had to be Jordan.
Hell yeah. I think Jordan only went under,
Jordan went under 10 maybe two times in his career.
And I think Wizards was one of them.
This shit here is.
19 games like that in a row.
Who Jordan?
What's Jordan Street?
866.
866?
866?
866?
Huh?
Cream at 787.
Caram alone at 575.
Ain't even close.
What was your years from Jordan and Jordan?
86 to 2001.
Yeah, see a little eight.
See, Kenyon.
till his wizard year.
10 points a game.
God, damn.
Yeah.
It always comes back to LeBron.
Just disappointed.
Just disappointed.
If you're going to break all the records, break all the guys.
Hey, I ain't a lie.
Don't show short me, shit.
I want to be over there and see LeBron all the way down everything.
I can tell you this.
Who played basketball?
LeBron James.
John Stockton's.
record with 82 needs to be re-looked at and praised.
Which one?
We done seeing some passers in our lifetime.
Oh, this is record?
We done seen Chris Paul have a hell of her average in 10 for his career.
We've seen LeBron James.
And the fact that the record is not even close to be in touch,
let you know what he did.
Like some of these records we look at it like, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, he'll catch it.
And then you realize,
Damn.
He needed to do what for how long?
And he played 82 games 16 seasons.
Let's put two and two together.
Let's put two and two.
Who the fuck was he passing to?
Thank you.
Carl, we know, Carl Malone got 40% his buckets.
Okay, wait a minute.
Where was Carl Malone on the all-time list?
Oh, man.
Number three.
So you got the number one dude passing to the number three dude.
These two, they attend them.
But the sisters changed then.
Of course they have.
You couldn't dribble back then.
You couldn't dribble back then.
When you dribble, that's not a six.
This pick and roll, this mailman
Stockton to him alone,
bounce past.
Still, that's a lot of us.
But that's efficient.
Me and you, we're going to break
some records together.
That's a section, though.
Yeah, that's efficient.
For sure.
To end of game, what have is it,
11 a game for Stockton?
Man, man, hey, what he did?
That's a statue.
That isn't the studio.
I like to see.
No, I'm talking about it.
I'm talking about Shay.
That's a statue.
She's record, I would like it to
inflate a lot more.
You said a statue?
From where it's a statue?
Like it's cool right now.
It's cool right now.
I would like to see you get to 300 for it to be impressive.
We had previously only seen 126.
Okay, now, now.
But now what he said before though, if he don't get kicked out of that game.
Yeah.
Because it went 126, ejection, I think the 90s straight after that.
Okay.
Now, now, can I ask you a question?
Can I ask you a question?
It's just a question.
Just a question.
He has the record right now.
right now.
And you
wanted to extend into someone
takes it away from you.
Okay.
As a coach,
do you care what the score is
if he don't have it?
Like if we up 30 and he only got
eight, are you keeping him in to do it?
As the coach, you should not care.
You shouldn't care.
As the coach, you should not care.
Is that ethical, though?
I'm letting me.
You shouldn't take him out?
As a coach, you should not care.
Nah.
Because heaven to be, bro.
Get you fired.
Hey, so what's worse?
What's worse?
You got to protect, he got a...
You said, he got eight.
He got eight.
He was talking about yesterday.
They're up 30.
They're up 30.
And you know how you're getting ready to take him out in the fourth?
You're getting the fourth by the start.
You're going to take him on the bench and then mess the record up?
Yeah.
He barely got it.
He barely got it.
I'm going to keep going.
I'm going to keep going.
How many does he have on the bench?
How many does he have on the record?
Because heaven for being, I'm gonna give him a chance.
Because heaven for being, yeah, I gotta give him a chance.
How much time left?
All 12th.
All 12th.
Oh, shit.
That's too much time.
Heaven forbid.
You know why?
You know why I don't care?
As a, because at some point, someone's gonna be chasing your history, right?
Yeah.
And you don't, you don't went this far.
And if I have 12 more minutes as a coach,
to get your one more inch, I have to do that.
Because I don't want you to look at me and say,
man, you took that inch away from me.
I can't do that to you.
Well, how about I get, so I'll leave you out there for the 12
and you don't fucking get it anyway.
Then that's you.
That's you.
That's good-ass defense.
I did my part.
Shit, I lads it to the water.
If you want to drink, that's your fault.
So I'll ask you this.
So, Shaquan Barkley could have broke that record.
And what do you do?
The coach did not let him do that.
I think he took himself off.
He took himself out.
Coach asked him, said you want to go.
He took himself out.
He said, you're a certain amount of yards away from breaking that you want to do it.
Because he know what can happen.
He run that motherfucking ball one more time.
He knows what he preserved the record for, he knows what it happens.
He knows what could happen.
He knows what could happen.
He run that ball one more time, God damn it.
Because he could have got it.
And your career could have been over to run this ball again, too.
Because I'm a coach, right?
Yeah, I'm a coach.
I can't lose Seek Juan Barton.
No, no, what I mean is I'm a coach.
Your record works with me too when I'm trying to get a job.
You know, you know, we broke this record as a group.
And so does it's Seekwon Barkley go out there motherfucking's head shit up.
Only one of us gonna lose our job.
But that was a historic year.
That was a historic year that won a championship.
He had an incredible running, like that whole situation was like, you can break the record.
He said- Well, he still broke it all, like with the playoff though, too.
But we don't even count and don't roll over.
Oh my God, he's fat skinny.
What crazy is fuck?
Oh my, bro.
Nick, we weren't a halter top with the belly like that?
That's disgusting, bro.
Do you see me?
No, I ain't gonna find.
You getting swamombed.
Kiana looking at you like, you're supposed to be getting to say for a fight?
You see it, though.
You see it.
Nick, stop, dog.
See me then, that's all you gotta do.
Oh, man, that's great.
No, man, listen, because you look skinny up here like, oh yeah.
That shit, skinny on top, Matt down.
You're just sitting it's all just badly, right here.
Dude, you know, when you, when you're going to be, loyalty, loyal,
let me say, when you get the people, we got to keep them, when you got to keep
keep, when you got that back here for me.
Let me stop.
I need to get, glad, Bob.
I got you to get exempt.
I got you to get that exempt.
I got you to get that exempt.
We're going to get the exempt it.
We get the exempt in the stuff.
This is you, right?
Yeah, people going blind, they say dudes in that shit and that.
What I mean?
And Zipp, they're going blind?
He looked at all that was a shit.
He looked at all.
He's like, I was in George.
Y.
I stayed.
Yeah, nah, that's A-I.
That's crazy.
Popping that shit like this.
I'm not getting you, man.
Nah.
Oh, Zimpy.
Yeah, see that.
Yeah, see that.
He didn't see that.
Nussie.
No, that's A.
Y.
Mendo.
I remember that A-Y.
Jai.
All came back in the summer.
Look, they see them niggas.
You see you drinking.
You're drinking, bro.
What's your bit?
What's that?
So, Shia, you talked
you talked about the street.
We actually extended it to 128 in the Thunder's Wind over the Woolf Sunday, but it came down to the wires.
Let's take a look at those highlights.
We were talking about he had 10 points in the first three quarters.
Jeline Brown.
Entered the fourth quarter with just 10 points.
14 with a little over three minutes remaining.
Then he hit this three-pointer.
Man.
In Ant-Man's grill.
Ant-Man.
Get it from 17 and then.
So does it become bad basketball if he don't have it and he's chasing us like the situation like this?
I don't think he was chasing it right here, though.
I think he was actually, he was just trying to.
I think it's personal.
I think it's personal, like, like, he was starting that a whole game.
But not in this situation.
Yeah, like Anthony Edwards is out there?
Overall, he's not playing aunt, right?
And he got this situation where they, is he winning?
Would it look like he's chasing if he's not playing Anthony Edwards?
So seven for 22 from the field in that game.
Like I mentioned, 14 with three minutes ago.
They were up 13.
I mean, shot in the fourth quarter is what I want.
How many fourth quarter shots did he have is what I want?
Might have had three or four.
Shots.
That's it?
Yeah.
And the fourth to score 14?
No, because he had 10.
But he scored 14 in the fourth.
Yeah, he ended up with...
I thought he only ended up with 20.
Yeah, 20.
Yeah.
And that's when you guys served out.
Yeah.
It didn't matter.
He was going to stay in.
He was going to stay in until he got the 20.
So you just said he had 10 for the first three quarters.
10 in the first three quarters.
Yeah.
He took six shots, four for six in the fourth quarter.
Four three.
But, you know, but like...
You're going to break his end because that's great.
And man is going to play him like,
I'm holding you.
As long as you're sitting here, I'm holding you to it.
I got it.
I think.
That's a good defense, right.
He wanted to be the one to do it.
Yeah, I think he wanted to beat them.
I think he wanted to win that game because they was up.
And then he wanted to break the street.
He wanted to be able to say I beat, not only we win, but I was the one to broke the
one.
Ain't that good defense still at all?
They had the marketing campaign ready.
But, so actually, like I said, 7 for 22, did have 10 assists.
that game just won turnover. He was asked
how cognizant he was
with the streak in the fourth quarter while still trying to get the
win. I didn't care about anything
besides winning the game as usual.
The game
tonight was like so junky, low
scoring.
It's like no surprise.
It didn't. Like to me
that's all right. Those type of things
have never mattered. It's just about walking out of here with a
W.
If I have a night like I have tonight and we win the way we win tonight for the rest of the season, I'll be the happiest guy on earth.
So winning is all that matters.
Winning all that matters, get with him.
Five seconds of FGA talking.
I don't believe that.
You took your hat off, so far.
Slammed it on the couch.
It landed perfectly right here.
If you could...
Look at this motherfucker.
Look how it's had landed.
We did not touch it, no special effects.
Now it's back.
Why did you take your hat on?
Put it back on.
See you.
See you.
See you.
Like, peasy.
Like, I get it.
I know you're supposed to say all the right things.
I get it, man.
But come on, man.
You make, because you make it hard for everybody else when you see,
you say the media perfect answer.
You're trying to win.
We was winning.
We was winning before I tried to get my next goddamn four ten points.
Right?
The first three quarters?
I'm trying to win and, you know, I'm not going to chase it.
But this is a record.
You know that other person talking shit to them.
Yeah, it's a record.
It's a record.
I'm playing against NB.
Yeah, I'm holding you out.
10 points.
Like, it's just, it's like, we always know what we got.
We do.
For the most part, unless we just go on some shit, just three here, two, three, steeled it.
And we lost track.
We got 16 and state 35.
Yes.
But for the most part, anytime we do, anytime you see a player's score and look
back and didn't do that, looking at the score.
For sure, they're looking at how much...
Looking at how much I got.
He was doing it. Like, I don't know if y'all watched the game.
Every time.
I was watching that fucking game, bro, the whole game.
Ant Man wanted that matchup.
With him.
Every possession that he could, he wanted to guard him.
I didn't see the same thing on the other end.
But it's not because Shay didn't want that matchup.
It's because Shay got fucking Wallace and Dort and all the niggas to guard.
Ant got McDaniels, but I think he got in foul trouble early.
So it was all up to the end.
And he took the challenge, literally.
So down the stretch, when he hit the three in his face, that was one of them, I'm almost there.
And once I get this 20, I'm about to go sit my ass down, bro.
So you got a couple more possessions to stop me.
He'd get that foul in the corner.
I think that took the air out of Ant, man.
I took the air out of him.
His record, bro.
He only had 19, so he ain't got a record no one.
He had a bad night, too.
Yeah.
Listen, if I'm a defender and I can get SGA down to less than 20, I'm talking.
For sure.
Even at 20 I'm talking.
20.
I mean, you know, for sure.
20 was at the end.
And I'm going to let him know about it too.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
You were scared, huh?
Yeah.
He was going to say.
You were scared.
You're scared.
You're scared.
No, I ain't going to have to see.
Yeah.
He was on that ground.
When he got foul, he was like,
I was I wasn't caring about that.
Whatever.
Let's keep it moving.
Take me out, goes.
Take me out, go.
Take me out.
He got it to the Braggie.
Yeah, we won!
Yeah.
He's been rolling.
Motherfucking, Rui.
That fucked up my own shit, Rudy.
He ain't only on that.
Rudy hit that three in that corner.
I will stand on.
He didn't want him to make that.
Hell no.
All.
So what's one?
I passed it to the guy who I thought was going to miss it.
Like I know he's shooting 49% but he probably would have passed it back.
Not Bill for this one.
Workers is the most impressive thing.
Hell yeah.
Hell yeah.
For a guard?
They get a hundred and one?
You said what?
A hundred and one.
But no, man, but look.
I mean, but just the fact that he's at that size as a guard.
Have you seen his post-ups?
And like the last, you know, the last place.
to do, Riecha was Katie and Jordan.
He got a little, uh, Sam Casabu.
Like, I watch, I watch some of them old basketball games.
I watched some of them old basketball games, man.
And I've seen the competition.
I've seen the hatch that you jumping from the free throw line
and you're doing all this and you elbow over here,
everybody at your belly button.
There's a reason you have is 50.
50.
Just get a ball, just, huh.
You need to just, don't.
He ain't got to just, no, don't, no, don't.
They had to put three seconds, offensive goal.
Think about the rules they had to put in,
offensive goal, tending.
It is for wilt.
You was grooving just now, I ain't gonna look.
When did they put the three seconds in?
I'm about to do that shit,
when you do it, can't give it?
When they put the three seconds in?
Then they put, don't,
Wilt got another rule that you can't shoot your free throw,
jumping past, because he used to jump pass.
He used to jump pass and lay it in.
Lay that bitch.
Like, for free throw.
But that's what I'm saying,
when he's shooting free,
because he couldn't shoot a free throw.
He'll run and lay it up.
Jump from free throw.
Yeah, and lay it up.
It's been around for a while.
Yeah, I heard a nigga Super Man.
Long term.
But that's what I'm saying.
So some of them records is like, eh.
All right.
But it wasn't a rule then, so.
Those were the days.
All right, well, good place for us to wrap up.
Yeah, please, baptists.
Celebrating our St. Patrick's Day.
Well, hold up.
Oh, yeah.
I got a column.
I'm a journalist now.
Oh.
Rawrashad.com.
I'm writing about shit.
But I'm making fun of it at the same time.
So if you want to make fun of me, go and pretend to read it.
Like, subscribe, comment.
I would love your support.
Raw Rashad.
Raw Rashad.
Yeah.
Man, that, damn.
I want to say happy birthday.
That can go either way.
Real authentic and wild.
You know what I'm like that?
Name is useful across different industry.
Yeah.
Oh.
Oh.
Happy birthday, Nick.
Junior, Elijah.
It's the same birthday, right?
Oh, happy birthday.
That's why we're thinking it at some age because we always had a birthday together
and the lives is older.
And I'm doing training every Tuesday and Thursday for kids.
I did see that.
What's the name of it?
Strictly for Bucket.
Only work you all buckets.
I don't have some appearances like Gil.
No, you're not.
Me and I have King, Gil, Rashad, BJ.
All Valley kids?
No.
It's at Cheshworth.
It's at 6 every Tuesday and Thursday.
6 p.m.?
I'm having you all y'all pull up.
Don't turn your head, motherfucker.
Right now, let's see loyalty.
Appearance speak, I'm sure, but it's an appearance fee.
You can turn his head, what?
Loyalty.
Loyalty.
Is your son going to be here?
They can say, turn around.
What are you?
You can turn around.
What are you?
Oh, that's up all.
All right, I ain't.
That's on earth here.
That was easy.
As long as Nick Jr. there, as long as Nick Jr.
Yeah, I'm there.
Which one is Nick Jr.?
I don't know.
Sorry one.
Is he got the glasses?
Yeah, he's like.
Stop saying my son's sorry.
He's teasing.
He's not.
He looked like he's supposed to be six foot.
Yeah, he's like the cool one, though.
He looks like the coolest one.
He's a cool one.
He got to be.
He's the first one.
Whatever your fucking name is.
Well, on that note,
he got to be cool.
Appreciate everybody in the chat.
Appreciate everybody on this couch.
Appreciate this new studio.
Yes.
It's nice to her.
Nice to you.
Very nice.
Very well.
Very well.
Good Wi-Fi, air-conditioning is solid.
We need a board, though.
We need a board so we can do a sky report and shit.
Scouting report.
We'll get more trinkets.
Visual.
Like a all-leaf segment.
But on that note, this has been another episode of Gilles Arena,
presented by Underdog.
Whoa, well!
We'll see y'all tomorrow.
We'll see y'all tomorrow.
