So the average fan can understand what happened while he threw that interception. If you got guys that played, that been in a pick and roll or been in an ice situation or been in the blue, they'll know what a seven is or 77 is, they'll know what the drop coverage versus. No matter, I can explain it during the timeout. I can explain it while the play is going on. That's what this man is saying. Former players, simple.

The reason you need to watch film breakdown is because Everyone looks like Superman if you don't know their tendencies their tics their flaws, right like Just like anything in life we have things we do all the time right like from somebody like um Or duh like you know I mean we do it when we try to think Like from somebody like, um, or duh, like, you know what I mean? We do it when we

try to think of a word. Same thing in a game, right? We have things that's like a substitution, right? So if you don't pick it up in game film, that guy might look like a great defender. He might, he might like block shots and then there might be a cadence where he's gonna fake it, right? Like he's gonna fake it

so you can pump fake. I have to pay attention to what's this, what's this fake on a block it, right? Like he's going to fake it so you can pump fake. I have to pay attention to what's this fake on a block shot, right? Like he might like to jump off the right leg to go up. He on his left leg, so if I can, oh, he on his left, I can just jump knowing that he don't like to plant off that leg to jump and block shots. You know, there's little things that you can pick up in game film, a backline rotation, how hard he shows, when he shows this way, what shoulder does he look over. Like, there's just things that you need to just really look in and define game by game. So how hard is it watching the film versus actually seeing it real-time on the court?

You know what I'm saying? If you're watching the film very well, then when it's happening in real time, it's easy to pick up. Does it become slower now because you've broken down? Okay. Yeah, like, this is, Gil can do this because he watches kids play, right? He watches his daughter and his son play a lot.

Ask him after the game, go run his daughter's game down to him, to her and his son's game verbatim back. Possession by possession, what they did well, what they did wrong. I'm able to do that. KJ was playing, camera player. I'm able to, from the beginning of the game,

And Stan Van, Stan Van Gundy, I mean, we were in film sessions for like two hours, breaking down the whole game.

So spent a lot of time with some good coaches with film though. See, I didn't watch film with the coaches Cuz I don't know what y'all looking at y'all looking at team shit. I'm looking at individual mannerisms, right? So like let's say like we all see what there we go. He's looking at probably they move back.

And being able to reiterate that to your team, I think goes a long way to telling the facts and certain things when you were around and the players who you were able to coach and things like that, I think go a long way. And having youth, man, like I said, I'm going to go back to having youth and having a few young guys who are making a name for themselves on the way to be superstars in this league, I think is valuable pieces. And yeah, so I think their future is bright in the NBA
