Starting point is 00:00:33 Whoa, whoa! Back again. I don't know if we could top yesterday, but we will try. Lexi, thankfully you were not in the arena yesterday for your own safety. I was watching at home. Lexi's like, where my horn at? That wouldn't have even worked. That wouldn't have even worked yesterday.
Starting point is 00:00:51 I wouldn't have even used it yesterday. And there is still some cash in the cash. Some residual. Yesterday. Oh, wait, look. Still some cash. Yeah. Make it rain on Gil.
Starting point is 00:01:01 Oh, that one, huh? Here you go, five, six. One next to you. Yeah. Got one next to you. Oh, huh. Here you go, five, six, one next to you. Yeah. Got one next to you, go get good. Mm-hmm. Okay.
Starting point is 00:01:10 Get a gift. Get you a smoothie. Huh? A little Joppa juice. A little apple cider. No, that's sugar. That's sugar, Joseph. That's not a smoothie, kid?
Starting point is 00:01:18 No, that's not. Can we stick together in 2025? That's sugar. Where we going? We make our homemade smoothies? Erewhon has good smoothies. Yeah. I don't got Erewhon has good smoothies. I don't got Erewhon money just yet.
Starting point is 00:01:27 Said, he go straight to all the sugar shit, right? Jamba Juice. Said smoothie. Jamba Juice. Trying to get a sponsorship. Right. What about Applebee's? Applebee's has smoothies?
Starting point is 00:01:39 No. No more Applebee's. Did he use your card? No. You still haven't found work worthy enough for the $25 Applebee card? Get him a skillet. No. We're out of work. Okay.
Starting point is 00:01:54 We're out of business. How much time on the card? Yeah, that's brother starving. Huh? You said don't let it expire. Well, Applebee's, this is like, what, 60 days for Applebee's? 60 days on the gift card for Applebee's? That's how they hit you? I don't let it expire. Well, Albee, this is like, what, 60 days for Applebee's? 60 days on the gift card for Applebee's? Hey, that's how they hit you?
Starting point is 00:02:07 I don't know. I feel like it's not. They're not deserving of a meal no more. Oh, wow. 60 days on a gift card. Not deserving of a meal no more. I'm going to sit down. It's Applebee's.
Starting point is 00:02:15 You don't get no meal no more. Or then it could expire. Mm-mm. But this is- They don't know how to act no more. This is Gil Zarina presented by Underdog. As always, we got the legend. Gilbert Arena is here with us.
Starting point is 00:02:24 Gil, you looking stylish today. Oh, man. OK, turnt up. Married. Anything you want to tell us? Just, uh, uh, uh. You look like you got a birthday outfit, a little free outfit. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:36 OK, you rocking all the birthday stuff. Oh, yeah, a little free outfit. Love that. We got WNBA. You feel good when it's free. WNBA champion Lexi Brown back in the arena. Lexi, I see they bullied you. You got 24 on your shirt.
Starting point is 00:02:49 You don't got the 54s no more. There ain't nothing wrong with 54, though. Don't let these men bully you into believing that 54s are bad. This is a better number? Absolutely, absolutely. 24 is definitely better. Y'all got to open your mind. Appreciate it.
Starting point is 00:03:02 Representing Tough Crowd, Tough Crowd University, we got the legend Brandon Jennings. Mr. B, back with us. Ducking no smoke. You got people looking for you all across the country. Boston. I'm with it. They're going to call me a nigga anyway.
Starting point is 00:03:17 That's probably a fair assessment of what's going to happen in that particular city. And I'm going to end it. And on this side of the couch, we've got former number one pick, certified best domino player on the couch, Canyon Martin. But I ain't playing nobody, so how you going to, why you keep saying that? It's Arizona. He's talking about Arizona.
Starting point is 00:03:37 Ain't nobody played? I keep saying that because of that noise right there. Because of that noise. I'm trying to play. Somebody he was nice you want to take I keep hearing old barb I keep hearing it Barbecue dominoes at Ken's if the wind if the wind is rough appropriate? We can definitely do it because this is No, no, no, no, no, it ain't crazy
Starting point is 00:04:17 Team for you Was drunk yeah, you was drunk. Yeah, you was open. It was not. Yes. No, we had to switch chairs because he was kicking your ass. No, we had to switch chairs because he was kicking your ass. Oh, he was open. But then when we switched. That's a lie. Technically, that's not how that works. First of all, that's a lie.
Starting point is 00:04:34 Listen. So he has to be sitting. It goes him, you, him. Right. So him, it was him. He was the one. No, it was you. See, this is why I play.
Starting point is 00:04:43 See, this is why at my house, I play. It was me hitting the Kenyans. Then it's your fault. So I was beating him. But I'm beating him. It was him. He was the one. No, that is you. See, this is why I play. See, this is why at my house... It was me, him, then Kenyon. Then it's your fault. No, I was beating him. I'm beating him. If you lock him down, he opens him up. So that's why I'm... Whatever you do... But he wasn't playing defense on him.
Starting point is 00:04:54 So that's why I prefer at my house we play one-on-one. So all that shit ain't no excuse. You can't blame nobody else. Sit in front and get your ass kicked. Sit down. He like to count the bones and shit. No, it's nine, no draw at all. He like to count the bones and shit.
Starting point is 00:05:11 It's on you to stop him. Yeah, but Wayne, yeah. Somebody said he was okay. We will find out. But last but not least, the earned man. The man that's not here today, but we got Cemetery Larry, the honorable Rashad McCants, back in the building with us. I appreciate you.

The Suns shook up their starting lineup moving bradley bill and nurk to the bench will bill be on the move before the trade deadline kawaii leonard is finally back in action for the clippers but is it time for the claw to pass the keys as the clips number one option and the kings are on a five game winning streak since replacing mike brown with doug christie is sack back or still whack but before we get into all that as always this show is brought to you by And the Kings are on a five-game winning streak since replacing Mike Brown with Doug Christie. Shout out to Gil you are officially back We reclaim the arena reclaim January 6th. They try to gentrify And in honor you got that the underdog pick them to hit but here's what we got for you today Let's take a look We got Alper and Shane goon a lower 13.5 rebounds against the Wizards. What what's the thought process? You think he just they gonna get it done early. He not go 14 rebounds for him just like eight six five four just the Wizards. This is
Starting point is 00:08:20 He gonna get bucket. It's a stat pack game. We got Alex are who's been balling lately. We ought to give Alex Saar his love. 19.5 points, rebound this issue. Got higher on that. LeBron Raymond James Sr., 19.5 points higher against the Dallas Mavericks, missing Luka and Kyrie. How do you not get that bad?
Starting point is 00:08:38 And Michael Porter Jr. What? Higher 1.5, three-pointers made. You can win 2.33 times your bread if you follow Gil's partner pack you guys rolling We give six for the evening Not feeling it no, I feel I feel Sing goon gonna kill him though
Starting point is 00:09:01 14 rebounds I don't even know if he has one I don't even know if he has 14 rebounds this yeah he's gonna play he's gonna score so he had 17 rebounds uh I believe the last time they played ah so that makes sense you gotta do your research oh no no no no no no it's always made no you might want to take this because I think this was a this might be a free one okay this might be a free one because I took lower, they started off and put higher on it at first and people started taking it.
Starting point is 00:09:30 And then I said, what happens if it hits low, they took high, but you messed up? They said, whoever wins on that one, just... Is your multiplier
Starting point is 00:09:38 low or high on that? Times two. 2.33. Oh, 2.33. Ah, so you guessing on this one. No, no. Those are good ones.
Starting point is 00:09:46 For all four pick-em? When it's like times 25, you just, yeah, that's just guessing at that point. That's the ones I go for. That's the ones, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm not trying to hit it big. I'm just trying to be right. I go big or go home. You bet a dollar, you win two dollars.
Starting point is 00:10:00 I'll fuck around and do this pick. Pick eight, then I'm going big. I'll fuck around and do this pick, and he had eight rebounds in the first quarter. Yes. He'll hit it before half. First point, eight rebounds in the first quarter. I'm just trying to tell you. Half time is dead.
Starting point is 00:10:14 He got four sheets. It was tricky right there because it started off as a higher than win lower, so it might not be there right now. So we asked the chat if they're riding or fading with your picks for tonight. 54% said they are riding with your picks. Listen, you are back, Gil. You got the support of our chat who can be wishy-washy in their thought process. But if you like these picks, head over to Underdog app, use promo code Gil,
Starting point is 00:10:34 get a $1,000 bonus cash plus a special pick-em. So we didn't do Mostly Fans yesterday, but we'll be back today. We had to cut the feed short, as you know. Got a little too turnt up in the arena, but we will do Mostly Fans at the end of this show today. If you drop a good question in the chat with your underdog username, and we use it on this program, $50 bonus to your account. Oh, we did Mostly Fans, all right. We did, yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:55 It was just in different forms. In real life. Hey, anybody talk to Nick? No. Have not seen Nick since the show concluded yesterday. He might be dead. Because I know for sure his girl seen him smack that ass too. Oh, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:11:14 It wasn't him. It was me. He looked scared, too. It was me. No, no, it was right here. Oh, I went around. He's sitting with the hand just. I went around. And then he looked in the camera and said, swagger.
Starting point is 00:11:24 Ah! He's sitting with the hand just... Coming around. And then he looked in the camera and says, -"Swag ass." -"Aah!" Like, brother, you in trouble, brother. Just tell it was me, man. If you can't watch this live, it's unusable. I don't know why you wouldn't, uh, because you miss all this greatness, but we got audio versions available on Apple, Spotify, wherever you get your podcasts. So, you see, I'm dressed like this.
Starting point is 00:11:40 It's an honor of a tremendous moment going on in the culture right now. Uh, there's a new song that has taken the world by storm, put the culture in a headlock. That song is Tweaker by Jello Ball, AKA G3, which is his rap name. Yeah, Jello. Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Starting point is 00:11:56 Whoa, whoa. So the song has an early 2000s rap sound. It's been getting burned in many different places. So his brother Lonzo and the Bulls played Tweaker in the locker room after a win this past weekend. Zo also previewed another track coming soon on his IG story. It's supposed to be coming this Friday.
Starting point is 00:12:11 We will be on the lookout for it. So, look. You haven't seen Zo move like that in a long time. Curing knee problems. Jello really out there doing it for the culture. So he's not the only bald brother who loves the song. Streamer Marcus Miller went to a Hornets game and rapped the lyrics to a tweaker at LaMelo. Here was his reaction.
Starting point is 00:12:33 Let's see LaMelo. Hey, Mello. I'm a swerve in that corner. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Bitch, hold on tight before I let that shit go. And I heard that she want to know. All right, man, man, man. That's what she means. Good fucking with that shit go, and I heard that she wanted to. Oh, sorry, man, man, man. That's what she means.
Starting point is 00:12:47 Good fucking with that shit. So, but this extends beyond just his brothers, who obviously are going to show love. You know, LeVar's boys always support each other. NetSocial posted this video yesterday asking players to finish the lyrics of the song as they walked in. Finish the lyrics. I might swerve in the corner.
Starting point is 00:13:07 Whoa, whoa. I might swerve in the corner. Oh, that's that new, uh. He killed that. I like that. I might swerve in the corner. Whoa, whoa. I might swerve in the corner.
Starting point is 00:13:22 Whoa, whoa. I might swerve in the corner. Whoa. I might swear, bend the corner. Whoa. I might swear, bend the corner. Whoa. I might swear, bend the corner. Whoa. And that it.
Starting point is 00:13:41 Whoa. As you can see, most of the players knew the track. Tweeker was also played in the arena before the Bulls went against the Spurs last night, with the announcers making references to the lyrics throughout the broadcast. And the track also extended to the NFL, where Detroit Lions all-pro receiver Amon Ross St.
Starting point is 00:13:58 Brown posted a story of himself bumping the track in the locker room Sunday night after the Lions smacked the Vikings to lock up the number one seed in the NFC. As my daughter say, they spamming this shit. It's crazy. There are more of ours there. I love this song, but dang. All the kids, man.
Starting point is 00:14:12 It's the biggest song since Not Like Us. Yeah. Yeah. Seriously. Which was last week. Can you have the biggest song since Not Like Us, man? Put them in the halftime show. I like, uh...
Starting point is 00:14:26 Oh, yeah. Wait, did you guys... That's a good way to get promotion, though. To say some shit like that. I'm surprised. Yeah, to say some shit like that, man. That's a good way to get some promotion. It's like, yeah, huh?
Starting point is 00:14:37 Okay. Kenyon, have you heard that new Jello yet? No, I have not. Why not? I already knew. He still ain't listened to the whole Kendrick, y'all. He still is not. Still waiting to finish that.
Starting point is 00:14:47 What does that have to do with Jell-O song? He ain't got to track six yet. He still. Say it again? You should have. K-Dawg don't got nothing to do with Jell-O song. And it's like two minutes. Can y'all mic swerve in that corner?
Starting point is 00:14:58 OK. Whoa, whoa. Wait, did you guys, did people make music when y'all was playing? Like was that a thing? Like if someone made a song, like all y'all was playing? Like, was that a thing? Like, if someone made a song, like, all y'all knew about it or anything? Y'all never bumped?
Starting point is 00:15:09 Yeah, I made one. They banned that. Yeah, they got that. Y'all didn't bump NBA's best kept secrets? Steven Jackson dropped the mix tape. Yeah, dudes would have. But they had it like this. I thought every day we hustling was Shaq.
Starting point is 00:15:18 Like, didn't nobody? When we was in Miami, that shit dropped. He thought it was Shaq. No, like, didn't nobody have songs where nobody was bumping like this? We had a dude that was rapping. It was like this. Sha it was Shaq. Nah, like, didn't nobody have songs where nobody was bumping like this. We had a dude that was rapping. Shaq was before we got in the league, right? The Kazam and all that.
Starting point is 00:15:31 That was before. There you go, B.J. So, of course, I'm finna show my age on here. 98. Right? They got this, so it was a CD back in the day that multiple people rapped on. Best Kept Secrets. Basketball Best Kept Secrets, right?
Starting point is 00:15:44 Kenny Smith. It was a bunch of dudes. Dana Barr Smith? It was a bunch of dudes. Dana Barrows. It was a bunch of dudes. It was like 20 tracks on the joint. And it was different dudes had songs on the joint. So it wasn't bad. And how did that circulate?
Starting point is 00:15:56 Huh? How did the CD circulate? There were some bangers on there. You had to buy it. Oh. At the CD store. Back then. That's why I was asking.
Starting point is 00:16:03 To the corner store, yeah. You had to buy it. So Blockbuster Music, so it was Blockbuster Video, then they had Blockbuster Music. Virgin Music. All the spots that sold CDs had it. Shout out to Cedric Zabala, Floor On, one of the greatest NBA rapper songs. That's where you met girls. I used to go to Blockbuster when I was younger.
Starting point is 00:16:23 Really? Blockbuster. Okay. Yeah, now there's some dudes that can rap, that hoop. But it wasn't like in locker rooms and stuff. Yeah, Dana Barrows, Malik Sealy, Shaq had a track on there, Brian Mills, Gil, your friend Chris Mills had a track on there. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:16:38 Jason Kidd had a song, J.R. Ryder. Dang. Dennis Scott, Gary Payton. Yeah. Oh, I would like to hear this. Where is it? Oh, you know, you got to- You Gary Payton? Yeah. I would like to hear this. Where is it? Oh, you know, you got to... You got it somewhere?
Starting point is 00:16:47 No. But back to Jello for a second. Why do you think Jello Ball's track, Tweaker, has caught on so strongly? Because he went on the right platform with that streamer. It's catchy. World star.
Starting point is 00:16:59 Nostalgia. I thought it was because we did an interview with him. That had something to do with it. I thought it was because we did an interview with him. That had something to do with it. I thought it was because bullshit has been played. They can understand what he's saying versus everybody else. 90% of rap right now is just mumbling. So, you know, the fact that we can understand the actual words, everybody's like, about the hell yeah just brings it back to a time where you know music was fun I
Starting point is 00:17:30 guess especially for the older generation like you know usually none of the older generation fucks with the new school music you give us a beat and okay look at back do rags come back out. Look at, look at. Oh my God. It definitely give me Soulja Boy. You know what I'm saying? Early 2005. That's what I'm saying. See, that's where you Soulja Boy. See, that's where you miss me at then.
Starting point is 00:17:52 That's what I'm saying. Nelly. No, but we got to accept. No, I doubt. Where it is. You said Soulja Boy. You lost. You could swerve.
Starting point is 00:17:58 No, early Soulja Boy. Never. You could swerve. Whoa. Just swerve on them. Never. Just tell them miss me with that. You didn't like Soulja Boy?
Starting point is 00:18:04 Nelly. Miss me with that. No, this one. It ain't the type of vibe. That's sweet. Nelly.ve on them. Never. Just tell them, miss me with that. You didn't like Soulja Boy? Miss me with that. Oh, this one. Nelly, no. Nelly, I listen to Nelly. OK. Yeah. Is it a Nelly vibe or is it a Soulja Boy vibe? Nelly vibe.
Starting point is 00:18:12 It's a Soulja Boy vibe. Nelly, right? Yeah, like. Soulja Boy meets Juvenile. Like, like. Yeah, Nelly. Soulja Boy meets Juvenile. Huh?
Starting point is 00:18:20 Like, Boosie would rap on this song. OK. It's like that 99. I wouldn't put nobody on this song. 1999 to probably like 2006. You, Boosie would rap on this song. Okay. It's like that 99, 1999 to probably like 2006. You say Soulja Boy? No.
Starting point is 00:18:31 They got to put someone on this song. Him, Nelly, I listen to Nelly, absolutely. Nelly had a different. One of the older rappers from that era. Give me a young boy. That's probably just what he got off. That's the song. He can't have a whole album of that.
Starting point is 00:18:43 Don't want him to be a young boy on that. No, but hey, man, low key, Lonzo's 2.0, Zootoo 2. That song was nice, too. He had a crazy song on that. Yeah, that was all right. He had a whole album. He said he wrote the song, Lonzo. Lonzo was credited as a writer on the song. He wanted to give his brother.
Starting point is 00:19:01 He wrote that back then in the 99 and the 2000. He wrote that back then. See, I the 2000. He wrote that back then. See, I'm a Dame kind of a guy. I'm a Dame and a Stack kind of a rapper. I like them kind of rappers. So we asked the chat, are you bumping Tweeker? I'm not. No, Dame, I don't want to dance.
Starting point is 00:19:20 Not to the music. So we asked the chat, are you bumping Tweeker? 59% say yes. Good job, chat. Support the Ball family. It's just fun. Dancing songs, yes. But it's just a fun little vibe.
Starting point is 00:19:32 So Brendan, my next question, who do you trust to play music in the locker room? Which one of your former teammates would you trust to handle the aux cord in the locker room? Or it might be Bluetooth now. Brother, I don't know what area you think we came from, but we had our own CD player. Oh, you had the...
Starting point is 00:19:49 We had our own little iPod. We had the little mini pods, the little iPods, right? Yeah, that. The first version. Mini pods? That was all in your pocket. Yeah. Mini pods?
Starting point is 00:19:59 Yeah, but then somebody had an aux cord in the locker room. Yeah, someone said, oh yeah, because you put your mini here, you put your mini pod to it, yeah. Yeah, somebody had to. But then we had to do, so we had a guy that was loading up fucking iPods, doing Houston. I want an iPod again. Fucking 16,000 songs on them. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:20:15 I remember those days. I want my music and my phone to be separated. That's when you first was coming in the league, when he was popping. I don't like having my phone and my music. They give you your iPod, everything. Everything. He was iPads, he was doing Wii, Dreamcast, iPads, iPods, you name it, it was loaded. I'ma just say it, he might get offended.
Starting point is 00:20:34 Person you didn't want with the Oscars, probably somebody from Texas. Watch your fucking mouth. I know where this is going. No, no, seriously. Because, you know... Well, I don't feel... I know where you is going. I know this is going. No, no, serious. Because, you know. Well, I don't feel it. I know where you're going.
Starting point is 00:20:47 Because I don't get it. Mike Jones. Mike Jones. I don't get this. So, therefore, I don't get that. You can't not be. Man. I'm with you.
Starting point is 00:20:55 I like that music. Mike Jones was hot. It was a chopping screw. It was a chopping screw. I'm with this, yo. I don't care if Mike Jones is going to flip. It got out of control. Listen, you know what?
Starting point is 00:21:08 1,000% I agree with you. Because it got out of... Some dudes that's from Texas, yes. Paul Wall. I fuck with Paul Wall. Paul Wall, my man. There's an actual rapper dude that can rap from Houston. But overall, like Chop screw when I this was But I'm from like this was I'm just like yo is too much. Yes, we are chopped school everything
Starting point is 00:21:38 Like some shit don't need to be chopped and screwed like I get it. It was a thing. It's a wave. Yeah, I'm Texas born that's me. I'm for it. But gee like yeah Do you feel like if you were in a mind altered state though you would appreciate it more My it's hard to listen to chop the screwed in just a regular situation I was like the regular rappers is like when they we know that they like to hit song they'll take the whole the opposite screw you like Like some like some of the shit they were doing like they was making some specifically to be chopped and screwed Okay, they chopping and screwing as they doing it, right? Oh so it's you can tell like certain but
Starting point is 00:22:12 Overall is like yo Originated out of the past away shout out to the people's chair paw wall. It wasn't like the mic I just yeah, I never got into that part of it But now there was something like there's some shit out this angle always like you got a certain sound system in your car and some of that chop and screw shit. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, absolutely. The 2015 shit. Motherfucker, hit different. They chop and screw that shit, that shit hit different. 2015, yeah. Speaker.
Starting point is 00:22:51 So as I mentioned, Lonzo credited as a writer on Tweaker showing some of his many talents, but he deflected that credit to Jello on Twitter saying he just helped with the cover art. But I need to know everybody on this couch, do you have a hidden talent? Like rapping is for Jello and Lonzo. No. No hidden talents? A&R. Okay.
Starting point is 00:23:11 Music. Mr. Larry DeCemetery, do you have a hidden talent? Oh, of course. Oh, wow. Very motherfuckers in the cemetery. That is a talent. That's a fucking great talent. Stephen A. Smith, still ducking smoking.
Starting point is 00:23:30 Still looking for you, Stephen A. He said, mm-hmm, mm-hmm. I got OnlyFans, too, but that's the sidebar. You got OnlyFans? What? Didn't I know that? Okay, but that's not because he wanted to be OnlyFan. That's just because he got kicked off every regular platform. That's the only one that's left? That's the only option.
Starting point is 00:23:48 Wait, why does he keep getting kicked off? Because he's packing up? I'm toxic. Very toxic. Like what? What are you saying? Like acidic. Like toxic, toxic.
Starting point is 00:24:00 You can't be ugly and toxic. He's lemon, lime, and orange peel. You can't be both, nigga. You have to be one or the other. You can't be both. You can't be ugly and toxic. He's lemon, lime, and orange. You can't be both, nigga. You can't be one or the other. You can't be both. You can't be both. Oh, my goodness. All right, well, let's keep this thing moving.
Starting point is 00:24:11 So two of the NBA's most dominant big men of all time just can't see eye to eye for some reason. Shaq was a very harsh critic of Dwight Howard on Inside the NBA throughout Dwight's playing career. They need to hug it out. But now that Dwight isn't playing anymore, Dwight said enough's enough, man. You can't just keep coming at me, Shaq.
Starting point is 00:24:29 So Dwight recently sat down with Ray Daniels, had this to say about the longstanding feud. And that was the thing that I hated the most is the fact that he always thought I was trying to be him or be like him. But again, if I wanted to be you or be like you, shouldn't you take that as a compliment to show how great you are as a player and a person? Yeah. I never wanted to be Shaq in any level.
Starting point is 00:24:56 Now, have I wanted to take certain things from him, his life, and implement for my life? Of course. Hell yeah. I do that with Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, LeBron James, all these people. Why? Because they have certain things
Starting point is 00:25:11 that I'm like, hey, I could use that and make myself better. I just never, he's 7'3", 7'2", big old. That's him. Never disrespect him. But he's always had something to say. And there's times where I've gotten upset and I'm like, yo, Shaq just got to stop.
Starting point is 00:25:31 So you actually talked to him about it? I've tried to. I literally during Dancing with the Stars, somebody said that they're really close with Shaq and they were working with me. And I said, hey man, do you mind sending Shaq a message? Yeah. To try to figure out like, yo, what's up? Yeah. Can we have a sit down
Starting point is 00:25:50 conversation? Cuz every conversation or every time I hear or see something about you is you disrespecting me on some type of level. And at this point, I'm like, do we need to throw hands? Like, what are we doing? Because I have not ever, like, do we need this throw hands like what are we doing? Because I have not ever like for me the only thing I would do is Shaq is mimic mimic his voice Do like that Which
Starting point is 00:26:17 Is a pretty good impression. I'm gonna be honest Like Shaq I think took issue with the white calling himself Superman which was Shaq's name obviously during this plane There's much other things playing in Orlando all that good stuff Like Shaq I think took issue with Dwight calling himself Superman which was Shaq's name obviously during his playing days. Amongst other things playing in Orlando all that good stuff. So Shaq must have seen the clip because he tweeted the following directly at Dwight last night. You know it's real because he didn't even put the period before the at. He said Dwight Howard the fact you think I care about you is funny but I won't ever bring your name up again sensitive big man. A jokoker that can't take a joke won't ever say your name again, ever again.
Starting point is 00:26:47 Have a great day. And now you have been deleted. Have a great day. Hashtag, I never cared. Hashtag, trust me. Hashtag, don't need validation. You do. Hashtag, stay off podcast.
Starting point is 00:26:58 Hashtag, the fact you think I care is funny. Hashtag, you got to show respect to get respect. Hashtag, now you're dead to me that's the hashtag got it the hashtags got it that might be a hashtag right shackles like this hey you hey what's your name cindy all right look handle this for me and make sure you what you want me hashtags. What you want me to say? What you want me to say, Big Daddy?
Starting point is 00:27:30 Hashtag. There we'll check it out. Saying I don't care about you, then coming with seven hashtags. Seven. Seven hashtags. A lot of words, too, because you know when you hashtag, you got to make sure everything is spelled correctly and flows. The fact that you think I care and continue to.
Starting point is 00:27:44 With more hashtags after that. So Dwight replied a few hours later with this. I know you care because your insecure ass been hating and talking shit for 20 years. You too big to be this insecure. I hope you don't bring my name up again. 52 years old tweeting me and still hating. Now all this time you was joking.
Starting point is 00:28:02 You always been jealous. Jealous of Kobe, Penny, D-Wade with the Y in it. Charles too. Go move around big, lazy, insecure ass. I still have that long, fire paragraph direct message you sent me a couple years ago telling me that I'm not that great to hate
Starting point is 00:28:18 and you're still doing it. It's 2025. Grow the hell up and move on. So the reality... No. Why are we on Twitter? What? What are we doing? Twitter be cracking, bro. I need to get on Twitter for real. Twitter be cracking, bro.
Starting point is 00:28:31 You're on Twitter. Twitter is literally a war zone. But I need to be on here, though. You can say whatever you want to. There is no... At Gil's Arena Show, you're an active audience. None. Some great memes. Some of the best memes.
Starting point is 00:28:43 Some what you used to post on your post. Some great memes. Some of the best memes. Some of the best video clips. Some long jokes. Oh, yeah. You are. Wild Wild West? Yes. Yeah, Twitter's all about that. And now it's...
Starting point is 00:28:53 Your meme game is on par with myself. There's no chill universe. It's not even Twitter. It's called X. It's called X. And once it turns to X... You are made for it. That is fair. You are made for it. You are made for trash. You are made for it. That is fair. You are made for it.
Starting point is 00:29:08 Because you don't care about the response from people. Like, you don't care about the response. You don't care if it's the wrong audience. Which is why you rarely respond on your Twitter. So therefore, you... Alright, okay. It will always reach the wrong audience every time. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:24 That is true. Or the right audience. Always the wrong one. He doing it for us. He know what he's doing. But why do you think the Shaq, Dwight, Howard beef is still going on in the Year Our Lord 2025? What made Dwight talk about Shaq on the podcast?
Starting point is 00:29:38 Because he probably was asked. Who started it? Like, how long has this... I didn't even know this was a thing. Probably was asked the question. I know, but, like, did something happen recently for the man to ask Dwight? It don't matter.
Starting point is 00:29:50 People ask. They gonna ask, because it's click bait. Yeah, that was the beginning of it. He named himself Superman, or did fans call him Superman? I mean, there was a dunk contest where he went on the phone. We came out and asked him. Oh, he had the thing. That's where it started, because he got Shaq with Superman,
Starting point is 00:30:06 but Dwight got famous being Superman with the cape and all that stuff. Why would you not think that's a compliment? Playing in Orlando, playing for the Lakers. There's been some. It wasn't a compliment because now you Superman. I'm Superman. You can't take my nickname.
Starting point is 00:30:20 But you're going around known for Sup. So like it's like. But he has a, Shaq is his nickname already. Yes, his nickname, but he's been known for it. He put the cape on and did the Superman dunk, and then it became a whole thing, and I don't think Shaq likes it. Yeah, Dwayne could have picked another one. Yeah, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:30:37 Super Duper Man. He could have picked another one, but it's all this over that? Was it him or just the fans that we seen it look like Superman take friends We just gave it to him dudes on my team. They used to fuck with me because the dude Kevin Martin they played for Sacramento they fucking call him came what I said y'all gonna get that boy slapped He ain't got nothing to do with it He cannot he cannot know but but do you like being called came more, but it's just what sticks, right? That's what people call me.
Starting point is 00:31:05 You just not, I understand it, but. So they were calling, they were calling They used to fuck with me, right? They gotta call him Kmart. They used to fuck with you about your name. Teammates, teammates in the locker room. That's how horrible they are. Well, nobody else in the world.
Starting point is 00:31:15 They can't answer, but just don't do it to me. Not a single human being can be called Kmart. Just don't do it to me, that's all. They're in the airport. Hey, Kmart, not you. Yeah, yeah, right? That's a leftist. Right, right? Bring him over here. Call another one. Airport a came on not you Right I'm sitting there somebody said I'm just like... That's not your name no more. Right? If I'm sitting there and somebody say it, I'm automatically going to look.
Starting point is 00:31:46 Uh-huh. Who you talking to? Not you. Who you talking to? Right? Not you. The other Superman. The other Superman.
Starting point is 00:31:51 It's my turn! It's my turn. That's how they sound. Just like that. Yo. That was good. That was good. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But that's how that sounds.
Starting point is 00:32:07 Hey, Superman. Shaq, Superman check turn around no not you They both dance they both I mean both funny guys, but you know I'm saying like is this dead what move like it used to He kind of did, like, do the same aura that Shaq had as far as, like, just seeing Orlando, Laker. Yeah. Yeah, it was a lot. Like, he always attacked big man. Big man just came to the back.
Starting point is 00:32:37 It was a lot. You know what I mean? So. Yeah. And he was being dominant. So it kind of like. I'm about to say, Dwight Howard was killing it. Like, that's what I mean.
Starting point is 00:32:44 Right? If he wasn't as good, this wouldn't even be a problem. Let's be honest. Dwight Howard's the closest thing we had to Shaq. In Orlando, with the same nickname. Since Shaq... Dunking on my fucking... The way he looked, the way he played, the way he blocked, dunked.
Starting point is 00:32:58 He just wasn't Shaq when it comes to being ferocious. He was a take-away. Or... No, he wasn't. No, that motherfucker wasn't. No, no, he wasn't. No, no, no. No, the cheerful shit is what I'm talking about.
Starting point is 00:33:09 He was laughing while he was motherfucking putting that forearm right on your shit. Shaq? Dwight. Dwight. Keke and his. Keke and why he was motherfucking putting that motherfucker right on your shit,
Starting point is 00:33:18 like hook dunking that motherfucker, smiling while he was doing it. Dwight made him look easy. It looked easy and fun. That motherfucker was violent. He was man was a she easy and fun a motherfucker With smile on his family was playing them and Shag was playing for Boston. Oh That's when Shag. Oh, yeah We don't talk about Boston. Oh my god. This is disgusting
Starting point is 00:33:40 Like you pull your chair on me Athletic the way and like he pulled a chair on him, laughing at him. I'm like, oh, man. And this athletic Dwight, though. Yeah, this is the one. I just go up there and get it. I'm like, get that. Get that in the back. Get that in the back. He was on one.
Starting point is 00:33:51 I'm like, oh, yeah, he about to get us all choked to fuck. Yeah, we don't speak about Celtics, Shaq. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So all of us. But it was all of us. That, yo. That was unfortunate. It did look disgusting.
Starting point is 00:34:02 That was bad, bro. It was bad. And that white, Shaq in that white green. Ooh. Yo. That was unfortunate. It did look disgusting though. That was bad. That was bad. And that white. Knife like this to hide with. Shacking that white green. Ooh. Looking like the Michelin Man.
Starting point is 00:34:10 The green you can hide a little bit. That white. Bring it out. Oh. So, and another. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what I said. The Michelin Man in the white is all big.
Starting point is 00:34:19 Dirty. So, it's love shacked to death, dog. I'm the one that's trying. I'm, I'll tell you. That was the wrong jersey. I love shacked to death, I'm the one that's trying. I'll tell you. That was the wrong jersey. I love Shaq to death, but nah, not that one.
Starting point is 00:34:29 So in another part of that. That's what they'll dare that, like think about all the uniform colors. That's the worst one you could possibly put on. So in another part of that clip, Dwight said. There ain't nothing else on, that's just white. Just wipe your forehead on it and all, just digging dirty. It's just white. Yeah, you just...
Starting point is 00:34:46 Everybody used to hate the white jerseys, though. Just... Yeah, yeah, nah, that... Fuck, it just got a whole dirt just right here. Yeah, but Dwight could've ran with another, like, just the nickname shit, I think. The style of play. It was...
Starting point is 00:35:02 You gonna do a kazam too? I need the book. Y'all don't think this whole shit is like nasty work? It's weird. We've been talking about it. Yeah, but he was asked a question.
Starting point is 00:35:11 I mean, don't like each other. It sounds like they go together and broke up. He was Superman down back in his fort. We don't have conversations
Starting point is 00:35:21 as gentlemen no more. Are we on the internet talking, man? He said he tried to talk to him. Yeah, I know. That's what I'm saying. If he don't want to talk to no more? Yeah, yeah. Are we on the internet talking, man? He said he tried to talk to you. Yeah, I know. That's what I'm saying. Like, if he don't want to talk to you, leave the man alone. I don't want to talk to you.
Starting point is 00:35:31 But the problem is this. Every nickname that sticks was given to you by fans. Usually, we just do the simple, just our initials and our, you know. Or you can nickname yourself. Or you nickname yourself. But when it sticks for the world, it's because the fans did it. So his nickname was... One got named Superman, which was Shaq,
Starting point is 00:35:53 and then they named him Superman, and that was the offensive part. So it wasn't something like, no, I'm D12. Who give a fuck about your D12? Motherfucker, you're Superman. Shaq is the gatekeeper for the big man. And that's how he feels.
Starting point is 00:36:08 He ain't never really feel like he gave Dwight the nod. He never knighted Dwight and say, all right, welcome to the big man house. Exactly. So that's why Dwight feel like he hasn't been knighted. That's why he's seeking his validation from the greatest. If Shaq tell me I'm good, maybe everybody else will believe him. But if Shaq tells him he's good, then you guys might be on this couch.
Starting point is 00:36:28 Shit, my trophy cabinet. Listen, if I'm Dwight, my trophy cabinets ain't different. So Shaq actually responded again this morning. Anybody. This morning. Shaq responded again this morning at 9.56 a.m. our time in the Pacific. He said, still don't care. Nice move.
Starting point is 00:36:42 I see what you're doing. I don't care. Your legacy is your new podcast. That's how you will be remembered and you need views damn I talked to you. Well great job Hall of Fame podcaster, but still don't care you need You need to sit down you need my validation. I don't need yours. How will you be remembered think about that podcast boy I have an empire to run. Now leave me, son. It rhymed. I've been talking 20 years, but you want to squabble at 50.
Starting point is 00:37:09 Well, I decline. I'm too old. Again, nice move. Love you, son. Some more hashtags for you. Hashtag, take care of kids. Hashtag, take care of your family. Hashtag, you're not a Hall of Famer yet.
Starting point is 00:37:23 Ten total hashtags between two tweets. Well, at least he said yet. Hall of Famer yet. Because there ain't no way he can say he ain't. There ain't no way he's going to say he ain't going to be one. At least he recognized, like, he's going. You're going to have to talk to him eventually. First ballot for goddamn sure. For sure.
Starting point is 00:37:39 Do a poll. Who is the real Superman? Oh. Get on. Dwight, don't be messy on the Lord's Pool Day. No, I mean. Let's see what the fans say. I mean, we know what the fans are going to say.
Starting point is 00:37:53 Dwight does have a great podcast. One is younger. D12 above the rim. Shout out Sniper Jones as well. Most of social media is younger, and they got the end of Shaq... Should Dwight release that five-paragraph DM that he still has in his possession? Say you got it. Hopefully it was properly formatted.
Starting point is 00:38:09 Yeah, you told us you got it. At this point, shit, dang. Yeah. Release it on the pod, Dwight. Hopefully they squash it. Everybody else putting it on the ground. 20 years, nah. No, it's beef forever.
Starting point is 00:38:19 Everybody else putting it on. 20 years. Yeah, some shit don't go away. It is. Because it's not a beef. But it's so weird. But, like, yeah. It is. Because it's not a beef. But it's so weird. But like, yeah, what is it? It's not a beef.
Starting point is 00:38:28 It's I want you to leave me alone. Stop bullying me. Please. Dwight's saying that? Yes. Leave me alone. Leave me alone. Stop, Shaq.
Starting point is 00:38:38 And then Shaq is saying no. No. I will do this forever. No. I'm doing this forever. You're going to make me do it more now that you don't like it. You're a little punk now Now I'm just gonna really I want your lunch money now Make sure you don't get no jobs now. They all check stopping my checks. What you think you'll do now?
Starting point is 00:38:54 So bring to my next question. What is everyone's longest-standing beef on this cow? What's your You go first? Mr. Cemetery Dillard. I said, Rashad, you go first. He's trying to put it in order. He said, I got what, 26 years? My elementary... Longest standing beef. My elementary school teacher who told me I wasn't gonna be shit that day.
Starting point is 00:39:16 Not current beef, not biggest beef. The longest standing beef that you have. No beefs. No beef, okay,.25. Yeah, no beefs. I fucks? Okay. 20, 25. Yeah, no beefs. I fucks with everybody that fucks with me. No, that's no. No, no.
Starting point is 00:39:30 Stop the count. Now you don't want to answer the damn question. Nobody fucks with me, so I don't fuck with nobody. Nobody? Okay. So everybody. No one fucks with me. I don't fuck with you.
Starting point is 00:39:41 It's up with everybody. Rashad has beef with everyone. So it's just whatever. So whatever beef it is, if you don't fuck with you. It's up with everybody. Rashad has beef with everyone. So it's just whatever. So whatever beef it is, if you don't fuck with me, it's beef. Even... He don't fuck with me. What the hell?
Starting point is 00:39:52 What's that? Oh my God. If you don't fuck with me, if you know, you know. She don't know. I don't know. Why am I always the one who doesn't know? Yo. I just wondered.
Starting point is 00:40:04 Career blossom. The career blossom. Bloomin' onion. Ladies and gentlemen, this is going to be an unserious show for the rest of 2025 at least, but we appreciate the support. I'm not letting up on nobody, man. This is why we're your favorite show. But let's move on to Kenya.
Starting point is 00:40:19 I've been trying to make friends for a long time, man. Kenya, what does your longest standing be? Nobody? Oh, yeah. Ain't no need to talk about it. OK. The coaching circle's gone. So you're not going to get an answer from anybody?
Starting point is 00:40:33 Oh, yeah. They know. They know. That person and the horse they rode in on. Oh, no. It ain't even him. Wow. You got, oh, OK.
Starting point is 00:40:39 Oh, no. It ain't even him. I ain't got no beef. No, that ain't beef. No, don't say that. No, with George, that ain't beef. OK. No, no, no, no, no. I just don got no beef. No, that ain't beef. No, don't say that. No, with George, that ain't beef. Okay. No, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:40:47 I just don't like him. I just don't like him. I hate the way you talk, the way you dress. No, I just don't like nothing about him. I just want to punch you in the face. You know what I'm talking about? But that ain't beef. No, that ain't beef at all.
Starting point is 00:41:04 No, no, no. Okay, we'll keep it. Not at all. No, that ain't no. Beef is when you, yeah, no, that ain't beef No, that ain't beef at all No, okay. We'll keep it. We are we are getting no beef is when you get on site You know nothing that said on site is just because when I see you guaranteed to be I see you as big as ever I'm just Well, I'm told to be fighting for Can you turn my brothers yesterday? I mean. They were very hurt by that. We are big KU Martian fans in the Johnson house. Yeah, no, I just, man, like I said, man. Like, I don't bother nobody, bro.
Starting point is 00:41:36 So, let's move on to Mr. B. Mr. B, what is your longest standing beef? With Chris Paul. Sacramento. Just the entire city? Wait, how long? Wait. Damn.
Starting point is 00:41:53 Those are recent. That's this year. And they in there. Go ahead. I'm standing on this. Hey, hold on. Run it back. Rewind that.
Starting point is 00:42:01 Hold on. Rewind that. Let's hear them again. Go ahead. I heard the second one, I'm like, is that the whole state? The whole state. The whole city.
Starting point is 00:42:10 We got to be the city. So we both in. So what? So what? So what? City. Okay. City. So the first one is just CP. Chris Paul for sure, yeah. Sacramento. Forever. Okay. Wait. Oh, I remember that.
Starting point is 00:42:22 You said Donovan Mitchell. No, no, no. Nah? no more don't beef gotta go both ways You gotta go both ways. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, that's what I mean. So yeah absolutely has to be But he don't know he doesn't know now he does he's been made aware but he has to be mad at Josh Hart If he didn't think you if if he didn't think you. No, no, because that beef come from 16, so no. If he didn't think you was good, that ain't got nothing to do with it. He's just looking at a little ass.
Starting point is 00:42:52 Well, I wasn't. I was the number one player. I know, but he's like, eh. So when I see him, I'm going to be, eh, too. He said, eh. He's like, eh. Yeah, he's all right. He's all right. He's local. He's local. He's cool. He's local. He's local. He's a little eh. He's like, he's all right. He's all right.
Starting point is 00:43:05 He's local. He's cool. He's local. He's a little small. He's a little small. A little small, a little light. A little skinny, average. A little thin.
Starting point is 00:43:12 Yeah. Huh? He alive. That's right. Local ass baller. Was that a Gumby on his hand? He had hair going up? High top.
Starting point is 00:43:20 High top. He thought he was number one in the city. You know, he's number one in the city. He ain't got no hair under his arms, man. He's a little boy. Get this little boy out of here. High top. You're not even number one in the city. You know, he ain't number one in the city. He ain't got no hair under his arms, man. Little boy, get this little boy out of here. The country. As soon as we leave, he gonna go at Chris Walters. Motherfucker, what you mean? Local.
Starting point is 00:43:32 Like... Lexi, what's your long-standing beef? Honorable woman, no beefs. Come on, let it out. No. You can share it. Let it out. No, I can't. Yeah, you can. I cannot.
Starting point is 00:43:43 A woman with no beef makes no sense at all. There is beef, but I don't want to talk about it. Come on, Applebee's, where's the beef from? Cook it. No, I can't. Uh-huh. You should. It's been here a long time.
Starting point is 00:43:55 Rookie season. No. Ooh, high school. Why don't you let it go today? Ooh, college. Ooh, college. Why don't you solve the beef today, right now? Ooh, no.
Starting point is 00:44:03 Let it go. No. You be the bigger person legs today No more being I was the bigger person in the situation And I was the bigger person So y'all still be from this back then she stole the word coach what? Cold not it was not a teammate or player back then. She stole the word. The coach. What? The coach. It was not a teammate or player.
Starting point is 00:44:28 Maryland. Friend, friend. Maryland. Yeah, we're going to Maryland down. Friend, friend. Maryland. Alright, that's enough. Okay, okay, okay. Moving on to you. Before Duke. You're not sure of the answer to this one. Elimination. I ain't saying.
Starting point is 00:44:43 Your second grade teacher. You want to call her the B word? Mrs. Livingston? No. No, no, no. That bitch. Never. Not that. Sensitive preacher. Never.
Starting point is 00:44:51 Gil, what is your longest standing beef? It is the beef. We know this. Because it's two-sided, right? Yeah. Yeah. It's child support court. I mean cuz it's two-sided right yeah It's child support court Every man's beef is the child forever. They put it in the algorithm spit out a book
Starting point is 00:45:26 It's just a black bear it's like it's like it's like the Ku Klux Klan and then child support Cool class land police child support court the Holy Trinity So we asked the chat you don't want all three I ain't got the top two You got all three of them? No, you don't want all three. You got all three. Ain't nowhere to go. Yeah, you did. You got to go underground. It ain't Kwame Brown. I just found out that was 2021. I didn't realize he was mad for 20 years.
Starting point is 00:46:00 I just found out in 2021 that I did some shit that I didn't even do. That's why you can't keep, that's why everybody can't have a bottle. That shit gotta be thinking shit. So we asked the chat. You ain't seen yours. I'm just host. My main beef right now is calories. He definitely got beef with calories.
Starting point is 00:46:24 Main beef with calories right now. Oh, I know his beef. Who? He's retired. Who? He's retired. It's called carne asada. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:33 I don't have no beef. That's one-sided, Gil. Wagyu. I just host. Is he retired? I just host. Did he retire? Was I right?
Starting point is 00:46:41 Real bad. Might be. He's a real bad. I just host. La hosta nostra. All right, we are coming for y'all. But we asked the chat, who is the real Superman? 61% said Shaq.
Starting point is 00:46:51 Okay. How many? 61%, so 39% of the chat feels that. Shaq has a great argument there. All right, well, let's keep this thing moving. Starting point is 00:47:46 All right, now let's move on to some actual current basketball. So we got to get to some highlights from last night. We have to? No, I'm just fucking with you. You're going to enjoy it, though. Y'all will enjoy it. So Suns Sixers had some extra intrigue going into the game as Suns head coach Mike Budenhoser made the move to send Bradley Bill and Yusef Nurkic to the bench in favor of starting Ryan
Starting point is 00:48:02 Dunn and Mason Plumlee. So let's take a look at the highlights. Bill came off the bench for the first time since 2016 when he was returning from an injury in his Wizards days. But Bill did respond well, leading the Suns with 25 points, with 20 of those points coming in the second half. He was 10 for 15 from the field and a game high plus 14 in his 30 minutes of action. KD was his usual self, dropping 23 points
Starting point is 00:48:25 on 9 for 14 shooting, as a starter of course. He also had six rebounds and five assists. Devin Booker struggled from the field shooting three for 14, but did get 10 assists on the night. Also started. The Sixers were without Joel Embiid, but did have PG and Maxie. PG had 13 points on five for 18 shooting while Maxie dropped
Starting point is 00:48:45 31 points and 10 assists on 11 for 25 shooting for the night. Sun snapped a four game losing skid with the win. And just quickly I think PG was compared to Celtic Shaq last night as well. Shaq took issue with that so Shaq has been on a tear on social media. Somebody
Starting point is 00:49:01 compared PG to Celtic Shaq. Shaq said don't play me. shack said don't play me actually don't play me i have four rings by that point but anyway let's go back to bill who is the real story here after the game uh bradley bill was asked about the move to the bench here's what he said it's kind of twofold man like because yeah i'm a star in the league like i firmly believe this like i don't i don't believe like no disrespect to anybody, but I'm I'm a starter. Sure. And that's what I firmly believe.
Starting point is 00:49:28 But coach made his decision. I'm not going to sit here and argue with him. I'm not going to see him be a distraction. I'm not going to see him being an asshole. Like he made his decision. I live with it. I mean, he's a coach. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:49:36 So I just got to go out and play my game, do what I do. And whatever happens from there happens from there. But those are coach questions. So Bradley Bill making $50.2 million this season to come off the bench. He said, I am a starter. He said, I'm not going to be an asshole about it. Do you agree with or disagree with Suns moving Bradley Bill? But he's coming off the bench because he was hurt, right? No.
Starting point is 00:50:01 Last time he came off the bench was 2016 with the Wizards. He was hurt then, and that's why they eat the back of it. I mean, I like his attitude. A lot of guys have egos, and they should be on the bench. At least he was like, you know, you know, just roll with it. I mean, I'm sure he wants to start. I'm sure he'll probably get traded and start somewhere else,
Starting point is 00:50:18 but at least he's still playing and still going through it. Most guys be having ego problems, don't want to play and be bitching, so... Maybe saying that they bought their joy. He still played 30 minutes, so... Things like that. He didn't.
Starting point is 00:50:30 I don't know. Yeah, I mean, he balled out. He is one of their better players, man, so he's going to be in there. He played 30. He's going to get the same minutes, man. He's going to finish the game. I get it. Probably look in the mirror moment, right?
Starting point is 00:50:46 Have a conversation with yourself, right? Realize how you need to deal with this. But it wasn't easy for him when you've been the star of your whole duration. Right? But he came out and did his job, man. So you got to tip your hat to him. It's definitely not an your hat to him.
Starting point is 00:51:06 It's definitely not an easy situation for him. So, yeah, Bill, perennial starter. Yeah, I mean, I just want to see how the spacing looks now when you take him out to see if, you know, Booker starts getting doubled, KD starts getting doubled because you don't have shooters in the starting lineup with them. You know, Bill's coming off the bench, and Grayson Allen's coming off the bench.
Starting point is 00:51:33 So the other guy, when he got done, I mean, he's a crafty kid, young kid, but, you know, he's not shooting very well from the three right now. So you might focus. young kid, but, you know, he's not shooting very well from the three right now, so... You might focus... I mean, it might not, you know... It might not be what they think. Yeah, bringing him off the bench, like, other people get shots. He gets more shots, but it might mess up your two components, too, because you can focus on them.
Starting point is 00:51:59 So, everybody in the chat, go ahead and refresh real quick if you're having any audio issues. I see y'all whining and bitching about it. Just hit that refresh. It'll be good to go. So, Rashad, I saw you had a facial expression So everybody in the chat, go ahead and refresh real quick if you're having any audio issues. I see y'all whining and bitching about it. Just hit that refresh. You'll be good to go. So, Rashad, I saw you had a facial expression when Canyon was talking.
Starting point is 00:52:11 What are your thoughts on this Bradley Bill situation coming off the bench? I'm just, you know, I'm observing. Damn, dude, what's happening? No, I'm just... That's how my coach used to be. Get on the line. He has a facial expression.
Starting point is 00:52:26 Damn. That does happen. For sure. That does happen. I'm upset with Mike Boothoser because he should have done this a long time ago. I already told y'all that Bradley Beal needed to move the fuck around, and that
Starting point is 00:52:42 was move around to the bench. If the Clippers would have implemented this strategy, they would still be together because it takes pride of a star player to go to your rightful position. It only worked a couple times when you got three stars, which are predominantly guards, in at the same time and actually won. LeBron and D-Wade, then you got Steph and KD and Klay. That's a rare occasion where those three guards can go and win a championship. Everybody else got to figure out how the two
Starting point is 00:53:13 stars, main stars, can get their shit off. And in that offense, it's all actions coming off for Book or KD to come off and get a shot. Bradley Beal is now set to be the facilitator of the space guy. You ain't at your... You ain't at your peak. Only way you're at your peak is coming off the bench where you got the second unit to yourself. And you giving us firepower. What happened when he went out there in this game? What'd he have?
Starting point is 00:53:36 26. Off the bench. And guess what we did? We won. We won. It was against the Sixers. And guess who had a bad game? D-Book. Guess what we did? We won. We won. It was against the Sixers. And guess who had a bad game?
Starting point is 00:53:49 D-Book. Guess what you did? You picked up the fucking pieces. That's how basketball is supposed to go. All three of them are never going to be able to play extended time? They can play together and play extended time, but your role is coming now off the bench to facilitate microwave offense for us Without being a distraction to our other main players But the maintenance just the two
Starting point is 00:54:13 There are the two main players They have any success. They want to learn to play together. That's that's like but you ain't do it as starters It's with the no he was able to come off the bench I mean, he's they wasn't a fighter with all three of them playing together. They have he learned to come off the bench I never liked him. I never liked all three of them together Get comfortable and then the three of them are gonna be able to play together later That's why I would that's what exactly what I'm saying Yeah later down in the game it gets more comfortable when he's on the floor. He got his shots off. Everybody know what's up now He hot we got him.
Starting point is 00:54:45 We ain't trying to figure out who gonna get what. We have to see this against a better team. The difference is, just like James Harden and them did, right? Just like, you know, Curry and them did with KD. You gotta have an offense that's made for quick scoring. Yes.
Starting point is 00:55:04 Quick movement. Sitting there in the pick and roll, waiting, pulling it. You can't do that shit. that's made for quick scoring, quick movement, sitting there in the pick and roll, waiting, pulling it. You can't do that shit when there's two other guys that can put up 25. That shit has to be quick offense, up and down, quick. So there's enough possession, so you get your 20, you get your 25, you get your 30.
Starting point is 00:55:20 Like, that's how it is. Run TMC, right? You got to have an offense that's made for three juggernauts like that. You can't be sitting there. It's six and a quarter. He got to get his groove on, hit the pick and roll. Now he got to give it back. You sit here, do this.
Starting point is 00:55:35 Like, nah, that shit don't work with them three. So, yeah, you got to bring one off the bench. If you had a pass cut, three-man game, you three over here, everybody, sit the double, you two. Like, you got to have an offense that's made for getting. And when you're good at scoring. Then Tony will make that shit work. Yeah, of course. When you're good at scoring the ball, though, quick hitters with good scorers,
Starting point is 00:55:56 they do more with the ball in less time. Oh, I know how to get this off quickly, get to the basket without getting blocked or getting a turnover. And that's what I think Boothose's adjustment was. Let's see what Brad looked like coming off the bench. Where we can now say, yeah, you're not starting, but we're going to put you in the Ginobili role.
Starting point is 00:56:17 You're going to finish the last five minutes. You're going to finish. You're going to finish. We're going to do you how we do. But second union, we need you to start off good in the second quarter. We need a good second quarter. They better off playing like Boston.
Starting point is 00:56:27 Yeah. And they need a good second unit, too. They need a solid second unit at least. Like, that's the time. The other dude's trying to learn to play how KD had to play throughout his duration, but how he had to play with Golden State. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:43 Right, he had to be efficient. Mm-hmm. D. Book started to go in that direction when he's on to be more efficient, but he still is a volume shooter because that's what he's been before them dudes showed up. Bradley Bill and Washington, same thing. A lot of shots, led the league in scoring, took a lot of shots.
Starting point is 00:57:01 To learn, like, I need to make the best of these 15 yeah I gotta go 8 for 15 8 for 6 I have to shoot a high clip in order for this to work like y'all said quick hitters but then when the game on the line and we need a bucket then you get your four five dribbles if you fucking need it do you think this is an opportunity for a guy like him to redefine kind of his career his trajectory if he accepts this role right here and say you know what instead of it being a punishment this is an opportunity it is this is a new opportunity to me submit six man at a year every year from this point forward is mine well that's if he keeps him on the bench no if he keeps it on the bench but i'm just saying like on the coach because if him on the bench, but I'm just saying, like... That's going to be on the coach, because if he, after two games,
Starting point is 00:57:46 he's like, all right, you're back in the lineup, then that looks like it was a punishment. But if we winning, and I've accepted this challenge or this opportunity to change our team dynamic by accepting this role, and we can go from where we are to third place because of this change... Yeah. Now, I'm commending Bradley Beal in a different light at that point.
Starting point is 00:58:04 So, Beal's currently the second highest paid player on the Suns under contract with the team through 2027. So he's making 50 mil this year, 54 next year, 57. Like, it's not going to mess with his money next year. With no trade clause as well, so. I'll just take the role on and make the six-man. This is six-man money now. The biggest six-man money.
Starting point is 00:58:21 Like, yeah, there's got to be 50, yeah. I'd be like, I'm worth every penny of this 50 because I'm doing this off the bench. You're getting that guarantee no matter what. Anybody come off the bench. That's why I say it should be an opportunity and not a punishment. That six-man role could be, like, changed completely. A whole hundred percent.
Starting point is 00:58:35 Then you look at Norman Powell. He coming up now. Norman could be like, Brad Bill set the standard for me to get 45. 30-something. 40. 35-something. Yeah. Pay me.
Starting point is 00:58:47 I'll do this. Well, Powell's still starting at this point. Like I said, he was. They took 81. Man. What? They took 81 shots. Well, it was a low...
Starting point is 00:58:56 It was like in the 60s in the third quarter. The Suns game. That's not enough. That whole game was nasty, though. I remember when someone... He enjoyed it and played with it, and he didn't slow the game down. Yeah. I forgot what team it was.
Starting point is 00:59:09 It was probably Kyrie in Boston. I said, I'd rather be in option three in Golden State, how they play versus a second option in Boston that year. Because he was trying to be real point guard, and he was trying to control the tempo. And I was like, there's not enough possessions for everybody. And he didn't have the pieces, though. He didn't have the pieces.
Starting point is 00:59:34 But your option, too, was Jason Tatum. No, it was Jason Tatum, and it was young Jason Tatum. But I think leading scorer was him at 24, and Jason Tatum was like at 15 or 13. It was bad. I was like, damn. It was Hayward Tatum. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:49 It was Gordon Hayward Tatum. Yep. It might have been Tatum. Was he? Boston? During that time? Kelly, that was Kelly Olenek. So 2017, 18 or 18, 19?
Starting point is 01:00:04 Let me pull it up right now. And it might have been Jason Tatum's rookie year. Yeah, he averaged 14. I think he was leading scorer or second leading scorer on the team. Man. With 14 points. I was like, oh, that's a horrible, horrible option too. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:19 Stats-wise, so Kyrie was averaging 24, was an all-star that year. Jalen Brown was averaging 15 a game. Tatum was averaging 14 a game. That was 2017-18. That's disgusting. That's a big dip. Because it was Tatum's rookie year. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:36 And then in 18-19, Kyrie was averaging 24. RJ Hunter was averaging 17. Tatum was averaging 16. Yeah. Oh, yeah, my bad. Oh, I was like, 16. Oh Yeah, my bad Even a second so you'd move him Jason Tatum 16 To
Starting point is 01:01:05 Yeah, so there wasn't enough. There wasn't enough possessions in the game then. It was a good game. It was a great game. You got a third option over in Golden State. The motherfucker averaging 21. No. I want to be option three. There's been a second option average about 18 a game.
Starting point is 01:01:19 Who? Most? Today? More. No, that's something even back then. Klay Thompson was averaging 20 20 and he was a third option Paul Gasol was averaging 18 Yeah, that was nasty basketball back then though. Oh the lake was it the way but Bynum was averaging I think like 16 Yeah, I was but I was And then Lamar was averaging like 10
Starting point is 01:01:41 It's balanced basketball by then That's what you want to call it. It was balanced. I thought it was just giving the ball to Kobe and just everybody You got three seven footers. I got three seven footers, bro.
Starting point is 01:01:54 I know. I got three seven footers and Kobe Bryant, bro. I miss. Yeah, man. You know what time it was. You know what time it was. So, rumor mill keeps putting Bill's name in trade talks,
Starting point is 01:02:09 with the Clippers' heat and nuggets being mentioned as potential landing spots. However, Bill holds a no-trade clause in his contract. Brandon, I know you are not a fan of that no-trade clause, but nonetheless, it still exists. Giving him the power to veto any move he's not feeling. When asked if he thought the trade rumors influenced the decision to move him to the bench, Beal said, if so, I need to be addressed because I hold the cards. Until I'm addressed and somebody says something different, then I'll be his son.
Starting point is 01:02:34 So do you expect Beal to waive his no trade clause for a move elsewhere? Depends on the right situation. What'd he say? Depends on the right situation. I hold the cards. Hopefully it's a winning situation. What he say? Fans on right situation. Hopefully, hopefully. I hold the cards. Hopefully it's a winning situation. Key word. I hold the cards.
Starting point is 01:02:50 Yeah. So ain't shit going to happen until they have a conversation with him. Well, you see how bad our team is because of that no trade clause. Cool. No, no, no. It's not because of that.
Starting point is 01:03:04 It ain't because of my no trade clause. Yeah, yeah, because, no. It's not because of my no trade clause. Yeah, yeah, because we could have been got rid of you. Yeah, you could have been talked to me. Or you could have just moved him to the bench earlier. No, we could have been got rid of you if you had that no trade clause. You can get rid of me with my trade clause. This team would have been better.
Starting point is 01:03:17 Or they can come over to the office and work for all three of you. Or you can be a coach and do your job. Hey, Kane, some teams just don't work. Some teams just don't work. It's like a relationship. Or you can be a coach and do your job. You just fucking... Let's try it out, right? Some teams just don't work. It's like a relationship. I mean, it looks kind of... You can't force that marriage.
Starting point is 01:03:32 It's coaching. You need to see it against a better team. It's coaching. The Sixers weren't really a good... You can coexist. You can sleep in different rooms. You still get on my damn nerves. No, I ain't got to talk to you.
Starting point is 01:03:44 I hear you're breathing. I hear you're breathing there. That doesn't sound very good. I hear you're breathing there. That doesn't sound very good. You cut down, you're breathing. Make sure these chores done. Why are you telling me I'm coming here to microwave on high? It's the culture.
Starting point is 01:03:55 Who cut the heat on? It's hot. Why are you doing that one thing? What you talking about? Breathing. That one thing. Why are you doing that one thing? You ain't fix me no food today, huh? Breathing. What's talking about? Breathing. That one thing. Why you doing that one thing? You ain't fix me no food today, huh?
Starting point is 01:04:05 Breathing. What's his name? Did I fix you something the last 12 days? Aduka? You made Aduka? So he made it work in Boston, right? That was what he put in. Well, that is debatable, but yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:17 No, that's what he put that in. Know what I'm saying? He put that in. He put that in. He definitely made it work. How is he just going to laugh like that? And then he went to Houston. Then he went to Houston. Making it work. And is he just going to laugh like that? And then he went to Houston. Then he went to Houston.
Starting point is 01:04:28 NBC, what he can do. He can take different, don't have the same offense. He didn't put the same offense in. He looked at what he has, and he creates offense for them. Some of these coaches. He'll go run this. Run this. I've been running this.
Starting point is 01:04:43 I know this by the back of my hand back in my hand problem. Some coaches can't Adapt away from what they think they know. Yeah, Buddha. I do not really know for his adjustments just to be right Yeah, trust me. I know there's one down over over there and that coaches who can't coach don't think coach Can't adjust can adjust they don't know how you have you have this thing you can you know, you've not watched basketball at all No basketball you don't just say oh that look like it worked for those three stars Let me put these plays in with my three stars You keep trying to run some shit that got one star in his big man. Maybe they didn't go get the ball What man you just got no pieces man. What's the piece to the post like?
Starting point is 01:05:22 Maybe they just need a faster you need a a passer. You need a screener. The Suns ain't done shit. The Suns ain't done shit. And your team ain't done shit either. That's what I'm saying. The Suns did better than them. The Suns did better than them. What did they do?
Starting point is 01:05:33 They went over there like somebody was going to bring them a ring. One year. Get them out of there. We're just talking about black NFL. Oh, black NFL. Listen, Mike Tomlin, listen, dog. Mike Tomlin is the most impressive person ever in sports, no, he's been a piece of dirt ever My tongue ain't been fired he's successful. There's a winning record
Starting point is 01:05:59 But I'm saying I'm like is an example of successful black excellence that no other black coach can go and say, we didn't have an opportunity, we didn't do this. He did. That's why he ain't been fired, because he wins every season. And every player that plays for him says, hey, listen, he fought for me. And guess what he had when he got there? Ben.
Starting point is 01:06:24 He's a fucking quarterback, so let's... And with that opportunity... You know what I'm saying? But the mother dudes ain't... Listen, dude in Patriots. Drop mail. One year. Yeah, that was crazy.
Starting point is 01:06:34 Gone. Crap, that's my fault. Here's right now. One year. Who said you get more than one year? Let's win. You should get at least one year. You should get two years.
Starting point is 01:06:42 Hey, hey, hey. If I got a three year... You gotta go into a new contract. If my contract is three Hey, hey, hey. You should get two years. Hey, hey. If I got a three year, if my six years, my shit that I've created is three years, and I'm giving you a one year deal to prove you can be a part of this three, and you lose the first year, I got to get rid of you.
Starting point is 01:06:56 I only got three years. Well, you got to tell me I only have one year. No, I don't. I'm giving you the job to see if you can do it. In one year, though? So how? But you got to tell me that you're only getting one year. So you want me to carry this luggage with no hands?
Starting point is 01:07:08 Man, you lucky I didn't give you a six-game job. I could have gave you six games. You want me to do this job blindfolded, my hands tied behind my back? With a bunch of strangers. Do you want the job? So there's a white man over here ready to take it with three days notice.
Starting point is 01:07:25 Some of them might have said no. But he won't get fired after a year, though. Are you going to perform and win? He won't get fired after one year. Are you going to perform? He won't get fired after one year. Within that year. With the same talent, that white man won't get fired after one year.
Starting point is 01:07:36 When? If you win and you're a coach, you're not getting fired. He won't get fired after one year. Marvin Lewis. He won't get fired after one year. He Lewis. He won't get fired after one year He was successful. Almost 20 years. He was successful. Probably probably 20 plus years. Marvin Lewis and Mike Tomlin for example. They were successful. They won. How many coaches, how many college coaches when they go to another school They got the opportunity to be successful. Get fired immediately? No, no when they go to another school and that's their first opportunity.
Starting point is 01:08:03 Are they good? To do what? No, they always give them a year to, like, get their recruits in and all that shit. So, they're going quarterback when they got the job. Yeah, but Leon came. But he came with his money. Because they didn't have nobody to win with. He brought his people with him. The fact is you didn't win. The excuse is I didn't have anybody to win.
Starting point is 01:08:22 When you get a job sounds good when you get a job you're going into something that's already there that's not your personality that's someone else's personality that's what i'm saying name anybody that's in college basketball that went to a team right didn't bring they whole crew like deon did he brought enough pieces to say all right i can get through this year but you get there blind and then say all right. I can get through this year, but you get there Blind and then say all right. Let's win. You don't know not one personality. You don't know who's who By the time you figure that out the season is over with so usually that first year is learning what your players are And then because I guarantee a coach coming your team You the number one scorer and I'm like, yeah, he's a he's the best player
Starting point is 01:09:04 But in this you're like what the scorer, and they'll be like, yeah, he's the best player. But in this point... You'll be like, what the fuck? I've been leading this team in forever. Guess what? So in football... You don't got all that time to do all that shit. You got six months to prove I'm going to renew your contract. I don't want to hear all this other shit about what you don't got.
Starting point is 01:09:20 I'm giving you the cards before you can even complain. This is what you're dealt. You should have known why you came over here. Yes! This is what you got. This is what you got. Can you win with what you got? Why are you taking the job you don't know? Don't take the job if it ain't ready. Then I like Deion's position then. Then I don't feel bad.
Starting point is 01:09:39 Why would you take a job as a coach if you don't know the... Why am I taking the job? Because I didn't know I had one year. Exactly. Tell me I have one year. You've got why am I taking it I had one year exactly let me know what you mean Three year contract right you give me time to three your contract Three years. Mm-hmm. So I got one year a dude to do this the first year is a loose He's a peep this though. Where you lose this Last year right how he got the head
Starting point is 01:10:05 coaching job, he took over last year. Antonio Pierce we're talking about. He took over last year. The team played better from when he took over. They competed from when he took over for the rest of the season. He did enough to earn a contract
Starting point is 01:10:21 as this head coach. You gave me one season. What did you do within that season? Like I said, I rid of our best like I said, who's the best player at the Montana? He don't get we watch it So, you know trades players. Oh Trade players they had a like I'll go there for he had a public so therefore the GM picks the head coach The GM didn't we didn't pick is not his guy Okay, they're tied most times in NFL the GM and the head coach are in bed together Basically, they won and won
Starting point is 01:10:55 Yep, he didn't pick him. He was in play. He was assistant coach that took over that did well. Let's give him an opportunity So you just wait to fire him. That's exactly what this shit was. That's exactly what this shit was. But as the black man, he got one year to do it. Gerard Mayo got the opportunity for one year. You already had it. Is the general manager new this season? No.
Starting point is 01:11:17 But he's going to be able to go out and handpick. He gets to go out and handpick who he wants. See, you might as well be on Santa's that bitch then. Hey, you can leave. You can leave. You can leave. You can leave.
Starting point is 01:11:29 You can leave. I got better players in your position. Which literally could be... You might as well just go in and just say, hey, everybody here, I don't know who you are. I got one year, but y'all can all get the fuck out, and then I'm going to recruit myself. That's the only way.
Starting point is 01:11:44 Are you talking about the NFL? Yeah. Period. I'm just talking about as a new coach, period. We're talking about the NFL. I thought we were talking about the NFL. The NFL. Negroes for last year.
Starting point is 01:11:52 We talking about NFL? Hey, I don't know none of y'all, but look, can y'all all be seniors? You know that's not how it go. I know. Can y'all all be seniors? But he was talking about the Deion situation. The Deion situation. I thought Deion brought his guys with him.
Starting point is 01:12:04 Yeah, that happens. He may I brought his guys with him. Yeah He may be bringing his house with him to that don't work in it If you don't bring nobody with y'all that the all that shit listen You're hired to do a job win games if you don't win games guess where your job and you are hired to give me better pieces Please fucking up on your job to be how many years that Doug Peterson have you know? Who Doug Peterson a gentleman you know Jaguars head coach. He just got fired just got out I said how many years he had a fucking job. He's been in a winning Situation since he's been a coach the Jaguars been winning. Oh before that
Starting point is 01:12:38 Before that how many and what was that record with the Eagles? Yeah? Just give me your one then. 22 and 29. Huh? Losing record. Fire. After one year? Losing record. After one year.
Starting point is 01:12:58 No, that wasn't. He said it all together. After one year. He said all together. After one year though. Let's check it. Gerard Mayo lost his job after one year. Let's check it. Doug Peterson. My fault.
Starting point is 01:13:06 We can go down the list. Then he went 4-13 this year and got fired. Say it again now. He had two winning seasons. Two winning seasons. Two back-to-back. Two back-to-back. Say it again.
Starting point is 01:13:16 Did they make the play? Say it again. Two back-to-back winning seasons. Two back-to-back winning seasons. He got fired after 4-13. Okay, so let me get back. We're not firing. Okay, so let's go down and they with NFL coaches they got the job that was how do
Starting point is 01:13:30 we go to NFL it's only appears I find this guy already on the couch I said damn right wait offense huh you ain't been a Raider fan since the Dante blood but I'm a since he left but I'm right about Doug Peters and shit, though. Okay, okay. He hasn't been a Raider fan since. There's a long list of white coaches that weren't successful after one year that didn't get fired. There's more.
Starting point is 01:13:55 Got to name them. We can go down. We will get to it. Because I'm 1-0 right now. We will get to it. I'm 1-0. We'll get to it. Vegas.
Starting point is 01:14:03 New York. Sardar Sandler's going to the Raiders. it. Vegas. New York. Shador Sanders is going to the Raiders. He's going to New York. Who? Sanders. Where do you think he's going? Raiders. Shador or the other?
Starting point is 01:14:14 No, Shador. Shador Sanders. The same. Might be Tennessee. New York, right? You got the first pick, man. It's the third pick. Yeah, the third pick.
Starting point is 01:14:24 Who has the first one? Titans, I believe, right now. Tennessee. Yeah, so no. No, man. It's... Yeah, the third pick. Who has the first one? Titans, I believe, right now? Tennessee? Yeah, so no. No, Travis Hunter's going. Cleveland.
Starting point is 01:14:32 No. No. No, he's going to Tennessee. I think Giants got it. Oh, no. No. No. Shador Sanders is going
Starting point is 01:14:38 to Tennessee. Huh? He's going three to New York because New York needs a quarterback, right? New York... Huh? New York don't have the same pick. Tennessee needs a quarterback. Okay, but New York is quarterback, right?
Starting point is 01:14:52 They pick before them Gilbert and you're not gonna pick my motherfucking son is all The Raiders got the third pick New York some dude, I know I know I'm just thinking about the big No, see get you worried about that. I'm fine. Yeah No, the big city should, that football shit don't matter. Yeah, that don't mean nothing. I mean, Odell Beckham was popping up in the motherfucking big city. Yeah, because Odell Beckham was
Starting point is 01:15:13 banging that motherfucker with one hand. Now, that motherfucker just dancing on them hoes. Just... Their organization is the best right now for taking care of quarterbacks and their people and shit. Tennessee and Nashville? You gonna take that? Nashville and Nashville? You're going to take that? Nashville, right?
Starting point is 01:15:26 Steve, you're going to take that? He's saying New York ain't shit. It might be a better organization. Say what? No, I'm saying the Giants. I said what the Titans are in Nashville. Better organization, right? I second that motion.
Starting point is 01:15:39 He said what? So I'm talking about better organization. I'm talking about better organization. You better fight for yours. So I got to be more of a bully too, huh? The Giants or Tennessee. I said Tennessee might be a better organization for taking care of their guys. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:15:52 I took my chain in for you. I don't know. I'm saying it might be. I don't know. Because there's other ones. Well, let's get nice to everybody. If he goes to New York, he gets some elite majors. And they work out together.
Starting point is 01:16:03 But if he goes to the Raiders, Brady being his trainer since he was a little boy. Wherever he goes, he's going to lose. Where Raiders pick at? Six up a list. Five or six. Yeah. He not dropping that far, bro.
Starting point is 01:16:14 He going to a team with Aimee. Unless it's already pre-programmed. Unless it's already pre-signed. Unless he's first in that corner. Whoa. They don't do it like that? Huh? They don't like pre?
Starting point is 01:16:21 Like, I'm pre, like, yo, I'm going to you. I'm not going to them. You know, if your last name is Manning, you can get that on. Huh? Best available. You know, I'm saying don't the players. If you're a Manning, if you're a Manning, you can get that cracker. You're talking about pulling the brownie out.
Starting point is 01:16:33 Your name, listen, your name ain't Bo. Yeah, they pull the brownie out all the time. Your name ain't Bo Jackson. Yeah, they'll tell you, I ain't coming, I ain't even showing up. Your name ain't Bo Jackson. Go to Australia. Nice country. His name ain't Dion.
Starting point is 01:16:45 But I got Dion. Your name ain't Bo Jackson. Go to Australia. Nice question. His name ain't Dion. But I got Dion with me. His name ain't Dion. Bo Jackson did it and it worked out. Like, I'm like, listen, Tampa Bay had to pick. Like, listen, man.
Starting point is 01:16:54 Don't pick me. Don't pick me. We ain't coming. Eli Manning, too. Hey, nice try. That's where I'm going. But let's shift back to basketball.
Starting point is 01:17:04 They can do it, though. We were talking about Bradley Bill, his situation now coming off the bench with the Suns. So out of the reported trade shortlist for Bradley Bill, Clippers, Heat, Nuggets, who do you like the most for Bill? Those are just some of the teams that have been reported. Clippers, Heat, Nuggets. The only team he can go to is Nuggets.
Starting point is 01:17:23 Clippers. They have shooting guards. Young was that they're trying to play he has Tyler hero and nuggets don't have a shooting guard I think he do do okay, but show me and I got a better chance to win too. They do Canadian Body that yeah Go back to what he was doing in D.C.? KCP's going. And as I said, that's what... He would fit good in there.
Starting point is 01:17:50 But 50 million, I don't even know if they can make that work. They're going to have to get rid of a lot. Yeah, because Russ is only making four. They can make that work, but... How much does Jimmy Butler make? Jimmy Butler, I think he'll make 52, I believe, with his player option next season. Somewhere like the 46, 47.
Starting point is 01:18:05 That trade would work. That would be an apples-to-apples trade you can get, Greg. I thought y'all found it a bit odd that you not performing up to the same standard of you getting paid. Who? No.
Starting point is 01:18:14 Who? No, that's not how that... I mean, like, if I'm paying you this, I need this from you. Does it really matter at this time anymore? I never liked the situation of him going to Phoenix anyway. That's what I'm just saying. The fact that you got to mind a trade for somebody you paying 50 million. I think it liked the situation him going to Phoenix anyway So I'm just so in effect you got only to take a grade for somebody you pan 50 million I think it's the situation that he's paying 50 and I got to figure out
Starting point is 01:18:31 Shit for you. Well, no trick. I gotta figure out how to like make you fit into I paid 50 You posted you posted fit wherever I put you That's what I problem is. The son's the son. 50 million? You put it wherever I throw you, you supposed to stay. Yeah. Say it again. Yeah. I make 50 million, you make it work for me.
Starting point is 01:18:52 50 million and no trade for you. Use me? That's what it is. And that's why your ass on the bench. Cool. And they tried to make it work. They just had 26 yesterday. Cool.
Starting point is 01:19:00 54 next year, 57 the year after that. And I'll score a little 22 so I'm on a pitch. And that's why we here talking about this shit now. I think it's acceptable. Because it's acceptable. Because at the end of the day, picking on a bet doesn't matter. He's making the money anyway.
Starting point is 01:19:12 But we're accepting it. He's making the money anyway. We're accepting that, hey, man, you go out here, you get paid this bread, you don't got to do nothing, lay down. That's what it looked like. It looked like everybody got paid. They're like, man. And that's not their fault.
Starting point is 01:19:23 We not dumb. We smart. We know they paid us and we uh don't have to do a hundred percent all the time now we're not dumb and that's we got our money we could just show well you pay me how you want me how i got paid i got 50 playing this way so if this is what you're paying for play me this way you're not giving me what i paid you for because you're not playing me how i got. You're giving me $24 million. You remind me of... I don't have to put you...
Starting point is 01:19:46 I gave you $50 million. That doesn't mean... I put you in position. Yeah, but you can't put me at the fucking three. I don't want to hear no excuses. You can't put me at the... Are you going to give me my money back? No.
Starting point is 01:19:54 Okay, so give me my... You didn't pay me that money. Give me my production. Give me my production. Give me my production. I got a coach. Give me my production. Coach Hubbard.
Starting point is 01:20:04 Coach Hubbard will go to a restaurant. I gave you Hubbard. Coach Hubbard will go to a restaurant. I gave you your money. Coach Hubbard will go to a restaurant, and he'll say, you got chicken? I'm like, yeah, we got some chicken. Can you make it taste like steak? It was like... We got some steak.
Starting point is 01:20:15 No, we got some steak. We got steak, we can make it taste like chicken. But can you make the steak taste like fish? Like, no, we got fish, but can you make the fish taste like chicken? That's what he did. That's what you want to do. You want to buy something, make it do something else.
Starting point is 01:20:30 Nah, man. Oh, that was your whole scenario. Yeah, play it, play it. Which made no sense. It does make sense. What the fucking ever. Okay, whatever the fuck that man had nothing to do with 50 million, I'm giving you 50. Right.
Starting point is 01:20:43 To come in here and give me 25, 4, and 4. Which wherever you was getting it at before I gave you this, I'm giving you this to give me something. Give me something near it. Give me something closer to it. At least make me feel like I got what I paid for. What if I'm not in the right position? I don't care about your position.
Starting point is 01:21:01 First of all, you don't even have an offense. You got your money. You don't even have an offense. You got your money. I got my money have an offense. You got your money. I got my money. Did you complain about how you got your money? Hell no. Did you say Zell or ACA?
Starting point is 01:21:11 Did you just... No. You didn't complain about it. No. It's in the mail on time. Where is mine? Shout out to the wire transfer. Where is mine?
Starting point is 01:21:17 Put me in a position so I can... Where is... No. I put you... Listen. I put you in a position to give me the bank account. I hear him saying this. You gave me the numbers, right?
Starting point is 01:21:24 That shit don't even make sense. I put the numbers in. No. Okay bank account. I hear him saying you gave me the numbers, right? That's your don't even make I put the numbers in okay, boom Checks in the mail. Okay. Where's my fucking production? Are you gonna put me in position so I can give you that production? There's a gym. There's a box and go into the room. I can do that Why is your free throw business where it is at 50 million? Where's the three-point percentage that where it is is? At 50. Okay, give me what I paid for. They had Bradley Bill playing the one, right? I had 23 shots a game. Give me that.
Starting point is 01:21:52 Give me what I paid for. I got paid for 23 shots. What got me 50 million was 23 shots. You don't even have an offense for 23 shots. You're the third guy. If we give anybody 23 shots. He's telling me to protect myself. He's the third guy if we give anybody 23 Anybody I've already said it before. I've already said it before. I've already said it before.
Starting point is 01:22:26 We said this. Did you not just say give me the same production? I've already said it before. I'm doing what you just said. If we got all three of y'all on the floor. You said give me the same production. And I got 50 from Book. And I got 30 from KD. The 20 is going to come from who?
Starting point is 01:22:40 The rest. Bradley Beal. No. No? So that means you're not a part of only three players can score this is what I just said 50 from Katie I'm a book 30 from Katie where is the rest of the points coming from the rest of the Bradley bill so if it's not three players in the beginning when we were talking about
Starting point is 01:23:00 this I said Bradley bill not giving us what we pay for he can move around what is our listen what is your argument? No, what was you getting? How much do you want him to have? He averaging 18 as a third option. He's averaging 18 as a third option. Your argument is what you're saying right now. Your argument was the same exact thing.
Starting point is 01:23:20 And I said, you're going to alleviate any kind of buckets to anybody. It's going to be them two. We're not giving you these buckets because you say, I got to sacrifice because I used to shoot 23 a game. Nigga, you can move around. We don't care about that. Get on the bench and get your 23 the other way. Because you can't do it with us.
Starting point is 01:23:38 But you're going against your original statement. No, you're just trying to beat me. Your statement said, I'm just trying to beat me. Your statement said, I'm paying you 50 million. Give me 50 million. No. Give me something. No, you said, give me what I'm paying for.
Starting point is 01:23:53 Yes. Which was 31 points a game. Give me what I pay for. Then give me my shot. You want me to protect you as a bodyguard? No. Give me a motherfucking gun. No.
Starting point is 01:24:01 Don't give me your knife. I don't need a gun. You don't need a gun. And the motherfucking flag. You don't need a gun. And you wonder why motherfuckers point it on you. Security guards don't have guns. And that's why they clients get fucked up.
Starting point is 01:24:09 No, they don't. Shit. The reason you out here protecting this parking lot is because you're a security guard. You don't need a gun. Hey. No. No. Hey, hey, bring real security.
Starting point is 01:24:18 Whistle. That's what he doing. Your whistle. You got a whistle. Bring real security, God damn it. Blow the whistle. Give me my gun. You are paid in top life security.
Starting point is 01:24:25 Give me my 20. Craig and Day Day, you got hired to do a job. Security got a whistle. Give me my gun. You are paying me top life security. Give me my 20. Craig and Day Day, you got hired to do a job. To do what? Do a job. I am. To do a job. Do your job. Bring the real police.
Starting point is 01:24:33 Do your job. I am. Do your job. 18 points a game. Do your job. 18 points. Do your job. You are just a horrible manager.
Starting point is 01:24:39 Do your job. Now I'm a horrible manager. Yes. Because you're not giving me what I paid for. You paid for what? We just said that. The third option. You're telling me to come off the bench. I'm a horrible man. Yeah, cuz you're not giving me what I pay for you paid for what we just said that You're telling me to come off the bench. I'm giving you 18. That's not enough. Then they just get Tyrese. No, that's not enough Yeah, look at that face again make it again. Keep making that not enough face. It's not enough
Starting point is 01:24:58 I'm waiting for your rebuttal. It's not enough. Thank you I don't need to rebuttal. Tyus Jones, yeah. It's not enough. Thank you. Thanks. I don't need to rebuttal you. Can you name somebody to rebuttal me? Because you can't. Name a third option. Okay, then name a third option. Because you can't. I'm not naming nothing. I ain't naming nothing. Because you can't. Name nothing. Because you can't. Cooked. Because you
Starting point is 01:25:18 can't. Cooked. You can't name a third option coming off the bench after 18. Give me what I paid for, man. Cooked. Let's go. And while we're going, why don't you go over to the underdog app you So one more thing on the side then we'll give it so you will it's a reason you don't like me So you want him to give you? He can't even tell you how many points How many points you want to to have. 25, 37. How many points do you want him to have?
Starting point is 01:25:45 What's up, baby boy? How many points do you want him to have? What's up, baby boy? Yeah, see, there you go. I want him to move around. I want him to move around. No, ask him how many points you want him to have. I want him to move around.
Starting point is 01:25:53 He didn't know he was averaging 18, that's why. So how many points do you want him to have? I want him to move around. He didn't know he was averaging 18. So you had a conversation with him, so how many points do you want him to have? I'm done. I'm asking. I don't want him to average nothing.
Starting point is 01:26:01 I want him to move around. So you don't want to have him? Get the money back. At least 23. Give the money back. At least 23. Give the money back. Wait, so if he ups his production off the bench, are you still like, damn, you don't ... You're still not $50 million? You're not worth $50 million?
Starting point is 01:26:14 If you give me 26 off the bench, like you just did... Then you're worth 50 M's. If you're giving me the production... You're worth $50 million? That's what I'm paying for, production. I'm gonna be 26 off the... Like, you can't name a no-living history. So, like, what is your argument? That's an all-star.
Starting point is 01:26:28 Has it been happening? It just happened in one game. What are you talking about? What's my argument? He's been there. Exactly. He hasn't been put in the position to do that. How long has he been there?
Starting point is 01:26:37 A while. Okay. What are we talking about? Are you arguing for the sake of arguing, too? No, because they haven't put him in the position to do that. He's been there. He's been a starter on the team for three years. What are you talking about?
Starting point is 01:26:47 Third option. Third option, average in 18. So what? What are y'all talking about? Name a third option average in 18, then. Name one. You can't be mad at Bradley Dugan. They decided to pay him $50,000.
Starting point is 01:26:55 Name a third option average in 18 right now. Huh? Oh, right now or anytime? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Third option average in 18 right now. I don't know. I know you. Evan Mobley.
Starting point is 01:27:03 Huh? Evan Mobley. Yeah. His average in 18? Cleveland. Cleveland Cavaliers. I don't know. I know you don't Believe me Cleveland Cavaliers is average 19. Thank you. Thank you Brandon. Thank you Brandon before he walked around here with his chest out Yeah, we just said yesterday fuck Donovan Mitchell's after than 23 24. Y'all don't have to continue this conversation. You don't got to explain to him. And then, Evan Moore's averaging like 18. So those three are still lower than the Suns three in scoring. Because KD averages 27. Booker averages 24.
Starting point is 01:27:36 And he's third with 19. So those three are still producing anything he says. So you found one. You find one. You found it. You find it. I found the same one. No, you found one you find one you found it you find it i found the same one no you didn't find one they don't like you don't know you just found the same one we was looking at the same thing he need he need to have me off the bench hey cleveland hey crazy i said a third option coming off the bench averaging it yeah he can't find argument like
Starting point is 01:28:03 oh the second round what you you expecting from a second round? Because then they got the big man right, Nurkic, right? He's over there. He's averaging what? He want Norm Powell to come off the bench, too. Huh? That's not happening. If Kawhi came back.
Starting point is 01:28:12 He's back. Well, Kawhi is back. And what's happening? Norm is still starting. Norm, are they winning? Yeah. They're 1-1. They're 1-1.
Starting point is 01:28:17 Oh. They're 1-1 since Kawhi's back. See, I like that. I like that, Legs. I like how you answered before you knew. They have won. That's crazy. They did win.
Starting point is 01:28:24 They won Kawhi. We're going to get to Kawhi in a second. The guy that's leading the team in scoring won him to come off the bench. My point was that Norman Powell wasn't going to be moved to the bench when Kawhi came back. You said it. There's no enemy.
Starting point is 01:28:35 You said it. Mikael Bridges thought. I just had one simple question that you ain't answered yet. I just had one question that you ain't answered yet. He's not going. How many points would it be cool for him to average for you? I say I don't know. So there's no argument.
Starting point is 01:28:51 So let's look at the bigger issue with the Suns. I got a question. So you said this production right now ain't good enough, so I'm asking what would be good enough for you. He said 26 off the bench. So more than Bill. Whatever he giving ain't enough. More than Bill for less than KD. For $50 million. Less than KD.
Starting point is 01:29:05 For $50 million right now. That's the third option off the bench. Okay. So, Suns are 5-10 since the start of December. 16-18 overall this season. They are 12th in the West. Should the Suns stand pat or make a move at the trade deadline? Boy.
Starting point is 01:29:19 Man, they better. You can say move the fuck around, Keith. They can do something different. I don't know. That shit ain't working, man. They can do something different. I don't know. That shit ain't working, man. I mean, he said, I'm a starter in this league. Fucking play too slow. How many shots did they get last night?
Starting point is 01:29:31 81. 81, that's not... Play too fucking slow, man. 81 shots mean there's only three people shooting the ball. And that's the problem. You need an offense where everyone can put... Like, it's the same as... It's the same as Buck's not the same as books off
Starting point is 01:29:45 I'm saying but the one guy don't count cuz he's so efficient my history like Katie shots You can't even put in that equation Cuz he gonna do like eight from 14 And then we write and then when you bring a point guard in now He's gonna hold the ball a couple most seconds movie you give it to Booker for Booker to hold the ball a couple It's it's not enough possessions. I saw KD miss like 10 shots the other day. I was like, damn.
Starting point is 01:30:09 I was like, damn. They don't have them often, right? I was shocked. It got to be more possessions in the game. Or like Boston. I'd rather them just be Boston, shoot 50 fucking threes because at least you know everybody's getting
Starting point is 01:30:25 their possessions up. They ain't even thinking about it. They just firing that motherfucker. Yeah, just fire that motherfucker. Just say, psh, psh, fire. Just everybody getting shot. Because you're 12th right now. You can't do no worse.
Starting point is 01:30:36 Yep. Uh-huh. And you got, and what's the funniest, your shooters- No, 12th. 12th. Yeah, 13, 14, 15. It's the same. It's the same. Who has better shooters?
Starting point is 01:30:45 Top four. Your top four. So you got Katie, Bill, Booker, Allen. Grayson Allen. Right? Versus, let's say... Tatum. Tatum, Drew, White, and Porzingis? What? Pritchard. Three-point shooters.
Starting point is 01:31:03 Pritchard. Or Pritchard coming off the bench, yeah. Yeah. Right? That's a good-ass matchup on shoot. Like, you should be playing like them then. Because they get a lot of threes. They get a lot of shots.
Starting point is 01:31:15 They get a lot of shots. So it's the coach's fault now? Yes. I said that earlier. That's what we missed. Bro, he got up, put, get a system. That's what your argument was. Was it the coach before?
Starting point is 01:31:24 Yes. That's why he got fired. That's why he got fired. They need a system. That's what your argument was. Was it the coach before? Yes. That's why he got fired. That's why he got fired. They need a system. They need a system. Hey. That's definitely why he doesn't have a job anymore. But they definitely need a system.
Starting point is 01:31:33 Dirty Frank, as he's known as. Yeah. Yes. Unbelievable. Which part? Accountability. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:31:41 Start with him. Yeah. Fuck, I told you I was a sharpshooter. Yes. He gave me a shotgun. After him. Fuck, I was supposed to do this. After him. That's Start with him. Yeah, fuck, I thought I was a sharpshooter. Yes. He gave me a shotgun. After him. Fuck, I supposed to do this? After him. Has a good spread. Bill Burr said he has a good spread. I told you I'm right here just... After the coach. I got steady hands. But it starts with him. But after him. But it has to start with him though. I got steady hands. You can't go after, man. You can't go after? No. Okay. You can't go after. It starts with him.
Starting point is 01:32:06 I see we lack accountability. It starts, so hold him. When you hold him accountable, then we'll hold everybody else accountable. Okay. So if you ain't gonna hold him accountable, we can't hold the next guy accountable. I'm holding him accountable right now.
Starting point is 01:32:18 Because you want Brown to be able to play like a $50 million player? How? The offense that he had. To win games. I'm going on record. The offense that he had. I'm holding the coaches accountable. Okay. Second, the players.
Starting point is 01:32:25 Okay. I'm now holding the players accountable. Show up and fucking play basketball. Well, what if we don't want to? Okay. We pay you. Pay you. Pay you.
Starting point is 01:32:33 I'm not saying like, pay you. I hear you. I hear you. Listen. I hear you. Y'all hear me? Did y'all say something? No, no, no.
Starting point is 01:32:41 How? We show up to play basketball, right? To your point that you just made. You told us you were going to play basketball. You told us you were going to play basketball. You told us you were going to play basketball. You told us you were going to play basketball. You told us you were going to play basketball. I hear you Y'all hear me now say so We show up to play basketball right to your point you that you just made You told us show up to play basketball, right? We show up and play basketball The basketball that you want us to go out and play and we only get 81 shots Whose fault is that as a who fault was it when it's drew a Mark Masters? And the coach go out there and play.
Starting point is 01:33:07 So when a coach shot you over, what is he over there doing though? Man, listen, he's growing up. Is he not calling plays? Is he not calling plays? Are you executing? Is he not calling plays? Are you executing the plays? Are you executing the plays?
Starting point is 01:33:19 Why do you keep fucking up this play? No, who's fucking playing up? Why do you keep fucking up the play? Are they fucking plays up? This four man. Are they fucking plays up? He keep fucking it up. Do you know that for sure? Bradley Beal, why do you keep fucking up this place? Why do you keep fucking up the place? This four man. He keep fucking it up. Bradley Bill, why do you keep breaking the place? Why are you breaking the place?
Starting point is 01:33:31 Run it all the way through. I watch the games. I know where running the offense is. So we don't know who's to blame then. Do we know who to blame? So do we know who to blame is? How? You just asked me a question. You just asked me, was I in the huddle? we know who to blame is you? Yes. How were you in?
Starting point is 01:33:45 Where you were you just ask me a question. You just ask me was I in the huddle 81 was you in the hood? You know it you just asked me flip my question. Yes. I have to answer you just said it is not the culture Oh, I just said it's the way it's about so how we both know the question we both Know how you know you and you and I already break. break. How you know you said he break you play. Yeah I'm watching took your eyes. Oh, you know what plays the car. I know what a broken play looks like. I'm a player I know what it looks like to break a play so, you know, they're causing this I know when this down screen comes as you shoot it right away. That wasn't the play Do you know we got a backside play you was in there? I know the play, you know So, you know, no, it's the play. No, it's play book. I know the options, you know his playbook
Starting point is 01:34:27 We know doc, you know his playbook. So whose fault is this? You know the options in his playbook No, the option you got so you have he play he called you have this play where did he coach that you have his play? Where'd he coach it? Did he coach you he coach him in walk? Did he coach I watched him you watch I studied him Did you call you know? How you know his fucking playbook? They got his playbook on 2K. How you know? They got his fucking playbook on 2K.
Starting point is 01:34:49 They know what you're talking about. So they got his playbook. They got his whole playbook on 2K. So you memorized it? Yes. So you memorized it? I can go to it right after this. So you memorized it?
Starting point is 01:34:55 I pull it up on my phone. I ain't ask that motherfucker. I pull up his playbook. I asked if you memorized it. They got it on YouTube. I asked if you memorized it. Mike Hooser's playbook. Let me type it in.
Starting point is 01:35:04 It'll show me right here. Did you memorize it? I don't have to. So how do you know? I remember that play. How do you know? I remember that play. So that's the only play they run?
Starting point is 01:35:10 Yes. So that's the only play they run? That's the quick action. You sound fucking stupid. That's the quick action. You sound stupid. For KD. First quarter, first two minutes.
Starting point is 01:35:18 You sound stupid. Hey, you know when you come out of the huddle and say you're going to run these two plays? Oh, yeah. These two? You sound fucking stupid. When we go up against each other and the coach say, you're going to run these two plays? Oh, yeah. These two? You sound fucking right. When we go up against each other and the coach say, look, they always run these two plays. The first two plays of the game, they run these two.
Starting point is 01:35:33 Those are two plays that you know. Okay, cool. That you memorized. Yes. You know his man's playbook. Yes. Cool. You sound fucking stupid.
Starting point is 01:35:40 The players are to be accountable to. You sound stupid. I appreciate it. You sound fucking sweet. I'm genius No, you're not The people who can't come in my fucking feet I can't compound can't comprehend I don't play for you I know I cannot I'm a that that don't know there was limited I can I cannot comprehend stupid about me. I cannot comprehend it couch full of 2k in this month for conversation sound fucking stupid Ronnie where the playbooks
Starting point is 01:36:17 Ronnie do we got the playbooks on to the fuck about no eggs Ronnie or the playbooks Yeah Fuck about no eggs Ronnie or the playbook We say we got the warriors About 2k You know what tell me I'm using I'm using our playbook. You know, they got all our plays in here. Look, look, look, look. Nah, I don't know the playbook. You don't? Nah, I don't know that it got the actions on here.
Starting point is 01:36:50 You don't? Cook. You don't? Cook. So you play with the Phoenix Suns? Cook. I use the Phoenix Suns playbook. That's why Guillaume got mad at me.
Starting point is 01:37:00 That's why he got mad at me. So you run his playbook to a T on fucking 2K? Shut the fuck up. Wasn't I running the play? You sound fucking stupid. We was running the play to a tee on 2K. He was the only nigga not paying attention to the 2K shit. Because the shit ain't real.
Starting point is 01:37:13 We was down here doing the shit. Don't give a fuck about that video game. We was down here actually doing the shit. That shit ain't life. Live your life as a video game. We was running the play. Live your life as a video game. Come on, man.
Starting point is 01:37:24 You sound stupid. Come on It's all and who's losing are you don't know I'm not insulting you don't know it's like not in so say, you know I'm not insulting you down stupid You don't know the man's playbook. You ain't played for him. You ain't been in the huddle. You ain't been in not one fucking Phoenix Suns game. Neither have you. No, of course I'm not claiming to know his playbook.
Starting point is 01:37:53 I didn't say the motherfucker broke plays. I did. Because I watch him. And I know the plays. You sound stupid. He broke the plays. Is there any merit to what Sean just said with you in the future play by the give a fuck about They got all the plays on 2k while we're running it he like see they ain't even doing that shit, right
Starting point is 01:38:23 Case in point Gilbert, I'm a student of this shit. 2k, okay, student. You fucking picking the wrong battles with the wrong fucking general. You a student of 2k. You a student of 2k. You a student of 2k. I went through every single one of the plays. Cool, and you memorized. Nah, this ain't it. Nah, this ain't the play. This ain't the play. This ain't to play. Cool, and you memorized. Nah, this ain't it. Nah, this ain't the play. This ain't the play. This ain't the play. That's what makes it funny because you watch this.
Starting point is 01:38:49 He's looking at all the players. And y'all letting him get cooked. So I can watch any game. I can watch any game and be like, oh, he just broke the play. I got it. I'm on it. I'm that good. You ain't that good.
Starting point is 01:38:57 Yeah, I know you don't like it. I know you don't like it. Because you sound stupid. Yeah, because you don't see what I see. You sound stupid. I see music. Yes. Yeah, you can't you don't see what I see sounds stupid music. Yes I don't comprehend stupid. Ah Don't come
Starting point is 01:39:17 John but East I'm a son part of this. You're right. I do not comprehend stupidity. So neither here nor there, but we did ask the chat, is it obvious? Don't do that. 80% say yes. I don't know what it is. Don't do that.
Starting point is 01:39:38 80%? We don't know what's obvious, but the chat. At one point in time, it was at 41%. We at 80. It's good to see the couch coming together, though. Second day of Gills Arena in 2025. No strippers today, no cake. But tons of great basketball debate.
Starting point is 01:39:54 So we're going to move it over to L.A. After missing the Clippers' first 34 games this season while dealing with right knee inflammation, Kawhi Leonard made a season debut this past Saturday in a win over the Hawks. So in 19 minutes of action, Kawhi finished with 12 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. 4 for 11 from the
Starting point is 01:40:09 field, 3 for 5 from deep. Clippers cruise to an easy win. So Kawhi followed that up with 8 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists in 21 minutes of action in a loss to the Wolves on Monday. He was 3 for 11 from the field, 2 for 5 from 3. Gil, we witnessed Kawhi's return on our playback watch party this weekend.
Starting point is 01:40:27 How much faith do you have in Kawhi to be effective for the Clippers the rest of the season? I know it's a very small sample size. The way James Harden is playing, I think Kawhi is going to be very effective because how they're playing the game, you're having open shots from, you know, corner guys. And, you know, at this point, Kawhi just got to pick his spots. So from what we've seen, you know, like one thing that nobody talks about with Kawhi is he can fucking shoot that ball.
Starting point is 01:40:57 His mid-range is amazing. His three is great. Right? So if somebody's creating shots for him right now for him to get his rhythm, and then by the time, you know, after All-Star break, he's in full motion, you know, he's going to be back to what he did before.
Starting point is 01:41:14 So we shouldn't look too much into just these first two games. Obviously, he missed the first 34 games. It's going to take a little while for him to acclimate himself. Yeah, I mean, he hasn't really played real basketball since he... What, January, February last year? So, you know, he's... really played real basketball since he was January, February last year. So, you know, he's a pro, man. He's a first-ballot Hall of Famer, so he knows how to, you know, get to where he needs to get to
Starting point is 01:41:36 and get to that superstar level. And it's going to take him, you know, a couple games, maybe a month. But, you know, by the time the playoffs start or after All-Star break, Kawhi's going to be Kawhi. I can tell you that. So you think Kawhi will return? I mean, it's not like he's limping or like. They just need him ready for playoffs. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:41:54 I'm just happy he got the two rebounds that I needed or that one rebound I needed. You know, in the first quarter. You know, he got both of them right there. They're good. That is. The underdog pick-ups do have an important part of the narrative You know me I'm looking for just the easy I'm thinking of everybody Facebook. Yeah Five minutes eight total
Starting point is 01:42:23 No What a clip was that fifth I believe the tie for sixth but do not have the tiebreaker with the master Yeah. Hell no. What are the Clippers at right now? Fifth? Huh? What are the Clippers at? Fifth? I believe tied for sixth, but do not have the tiebreaker with the Mavs, so they're technically seventh, but tied for sixth. You said the Suns are 12th? Suns are 12th. Come on, man.
Starting point is 01:42:34 They started off right, too, though. Right there, it was like 10 and three? Who, the Suns? No, Suns. Oh, no, they started off really good. And then they started getting hurt. Somebody got hurt. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:42:43 Yeah, KD got hurt. So open it up. Oh, KD got hurt. They all been in and out. KD. So open it up to the rest of the couch. How much faith do you have in Kawhi to be affected for the rest of the season? Yeah, I have faith from the beginning. Okay.
Starting point is 01:42:54 Remember, I was the only one who said he would play more than Embiid. Right now, he's at two games. I was the only one. Yeah, no, just... Y'all said he wasn't even going to come back. Right now, man, and... Yeah, no, it's, for when they need him. For sure.
Starting point is 01:43:12 As long as he's good for playoffs, they straight. Kawhi's played two games and Bede's played 13 games so far this season. He's got to be smart, man, with it. Where are they? They're in fifth? They're in sixth. They're in seventh. They're in seventh. They're in seventh. They're in sixth. They're in seventh. They're in seventh.
Starting point is 01:43:25 They're in seventh. Five or six. Mm-hmm. And they need them? Six and four. Ah. To get out of sixth? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:43:33 I thought that, too. Like, what are we talking about? To get out of sixth. Yeah. When this news first broke, they need another player. If they're here without him, you give them another 25 games, you don't think they can crack the fourth? You don't think they can guarantee the fourth? You don't think they can
Starting point is 01:43:45 guarantee five? I mean, yeah. They're not that far behind anybody. He started, right? I'm just saying, we said we're going to plug him in and do
Starting point is 01:43:54 something miraculous. They're already where they need to be. I mean, shit. What's the expectation with James Harden by himself, no Kawhi? Where would you expect
Starting point is 01:44:02 him to be? In the playoffs. Bottoms. Realist bottoms. In the playoffs. Bottoms. Realist bottoms. In the playoffs. He in the playoffs. They prophesied. We figured he was going to be...
Starting point is 01:44:08 We didn't know Powell was going to be out there, bitch. I'm saying Powell's hooping. I'm saying the expectation wasn't that they was going to do anything. So the fact that they had five, it's like, why would we mess this up? What would we do? Oh, coffee.
Starting point is 01:44:18 Yeah, mere coffee's been... Oh, that's an easy replacement, Dan. Coffee, like coffee going to the bench, putting Kawhi in. So you don't want Kawhi to come back? I'm saying how do you incorporate? Slowly but surely. You know, like everybody talked about Pau. Just ease him in.
Starting point is 01:44:34 Play defense has to incorporate wins. It is. When you incorporate, it's got to lead to wins. So he's played two games and they're 2-0? 1-1. Smacked the Hawks, lost to Ant-Man in the woods. I'm a man power that's for how Don't look at them Let me double so we should see where they had my all-star. Yeah, that's good metric. It's a college free
Starting point is 01:44:57 Just he'll have at least a they lost box. Yeah, they lost And Ant-Man had like I or some shit. Who, Kawhi? I played 21 in this game. I think 19 in the first game. But they cruised to an easy win against the Hawks. So they on history. Yeah, Ant-Man had 37. About a minute restriction, 20 minutes a run.
Starting point is 01:45:15 No more than 25 minutes. Norman Powell under contract this season and next season. He don't need to play more than that. Defensively, everything. He don't need to play more than 25 minutes, man efficient. Defensively, everything. He can get you 15 in 10. He don't need to play more than 25 minutes, man. He need to play, listen, 25 minutes throughout. It's an all-star. Where are you putting him in those 25 minutes?
Starting point is 01:45:32 Third or fourth quarter? No, you do it the smart way. Second, fourth quarter? No, you start. Wait, how he plays? You start. If you're going to only give him 25, where are you going to put that 25?
Starting point is 01:45:42 Play him the first seven minutes of the first. Yeah. And play last five minutes of the third. I mean a second Start repeating start the second start the second half. No, no You have to come in at the 6 minute mark. That's The first seven minutes right and then he comes out Maybe come out the three me you come out of three minute mark. So I guess you six minutes So starting the second half right? No, no, no, no, no what I'm you six minutes. So start in the second half, right?
Starting point is 01:46:05 No, no, no. No, what I'm saying is start, come out at the three-minute mark, right? So you got six minutes. And then you come back in at the six-minute mark. That's 12. So you're saying not start the second half. Because he's going to go back to code. Yeah, that's too long.
Starting point is 01:46:19 You got to start. You got to start. You just play his minutes, man. You play him. Yeah get it. Oh, so you just play his minutes man you but that's Players 25 however, you need to take my to the first quarter You don't worry about the flits with because you already been three minute. I want him to be cold Because you're the long because you've been you saw the guys playing already the fourth quarter. Yeah, you've been playing without him in the fourth quarter You don't have in the fourth you can but you don't have the beginning of it. Yeah, you don. So you don't play him in the fourth? You can, but you don't... You can, but you don't play him in the beginning of the fourth quarter. You don't play him,
Starting point is 01:46:46 you don't finish him. You don't worry about the finish. Oh, okay. Because you got James... You got... You and Powell been playing well. You've been playing 34 games without him. You've been depending on them.
Starting point is 01:46:57 Already. I wouldn't worry about it. If he get the shot, he get the shot. But usually a starter, but our starter minutes is usually like that, right? We I mean, but you don't worry about when you plan 30 something minutes you go first you come out in three minutes
Starting point is 01:47:11 You can't come back in at the I'm in the market, but you might not mean the mark So that gives you about 18 minutes in the first Finish out I was putting them 12 and 12. Yeah, so that's 24, but those are not his milk Those are said what you made it out the way though. Yeah See instead of bringing back in at the diamond market let me play the whole I bring them back at a six minute mark board five minute mark or two three But you let him in the second art of minutes. They have you want to start? Then you start if you need to do you start Oh, so you play him at the start of the third if you take him out early in the third.
Starting point is 01:47:46 Take him out. Early in the third. Let him finish the third. Start the fourth and then end. Let him take him out. So don't let him in the game, right? Don't let him in the game. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:47:55 Not yet. I don't think in the game is important. Right now. For him, being in at the end of the game right now, I don't think it's important. Okay. I think getting his rhythm, getting his win together, getting what he needs to do in them 25 minutes. So would you take him out earlier in the first?
Starting point is 01:48:10 Like, let's say the six-minute mark. Yeah. Let's say six. Yeah. Yeah. So six, six. Six, two, yeah. So we asked the chat, do you have faith in Kawhi this season? No. 63% said no. Damn. Damn. Yeah, because that minute restriction is tricky.
Starting point is 01:48:25 It's bullshit. I hate minutes restriction. I hate it. It's rough. It is fucking rough. So with Kawhi's sideline, Norm Powell has taken over the reins as the Clippers' number one option, averaging a career-high 23.5 points on 48-44-85 shooting splits. Kawhi's first two games back,
Starting point is 01:48:42 Clippers rolled out a starting lineup that included Powell, Harden, and the Claw. So far this season, like we mentioned, 20-16, tied for sixth in the West. So it's time for Kawhi to give the keys to Norm Powell as the Clippers' number one option. This year right now? Yeah, leave it where it is. Leave it where it is. Don't mess with it. We talked about Powell being moved back to the bench and kind of
Starting point is 01:49:00 It ain't even a number one option. He's still He's just playing very well. Don't mess up his rhythm. And we're staying afloat with him It ain't even a number one option. He's still he's just playing very well Staying afloat with him doing him being our lead score. Yeah, it's working for us Come and I think why I can understand that what it is right now. Yeah to calm number one option But he's the leading scorer. He's just he's taking the most shots. Well, I think they got a head coach over there that can relate Right. I don't think he's afraid to say it to Kawhi. I think he got to do it in public,
Starting point is 01:49:32 but I don't think T. Louis is afraid to say it to him. And Norman's earned it, so. So Kawhi signed that three-year extension, I believe, last January. Got ahead of it. We've seen a lot of disgruntled stars potentially around the league. Are Powell and Harden doing enough to show Clippers can move on from Kauai. Oh No, not enough time nor we had enough time proving oh, sorry you watch those when that boy play he's still Like you can't I just have to ask. As a host, I have to do my duty.
Starting point is 01:50:07 Still All-NBA. Yeah. Damn. Wasn't he All-NBA last year? Yes, he was. Exactly. He got second team. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:50:13 So yeah, I can't. Yeah. Yeah, never mind. Yeah. But nah. You ain't going to even entertain him. You don't ever want to be in a situation, right, where you try to move a guy too late versus trying
Starting point is 01:50:21 to jump ahead of it. I'm just saying. Jump ahead for what? Wow. Jump ahead to what? Is he in a special situation now? Do we have to put an asterisk beside. I'm just... Jump ahead for what? Wow. Jump ahead to what? Is he in a special situation now? Do we have to put an asterisk beside him?
Starting point is 01:50:27 Yo, this is mad stuff. For what? Like the Derrick Rose situation. This is it. Like Derrick Rose, MVP, what could have been, such and such. There's no what could have been.
Starting point is 01:50:37 He's done things. This ain't that. This ain't no what could have been. You know what I'm saying? We not doing that with Kwok. He can't stay healthy. Two championships, R&B.
Starting point is 01:50:44 He can't stay healthy. And he can't stay healthy. Two championships, all NBA. And he can't stay healthy. But technically what? 33 years old. You can put him in what could have been if he would have stayed healthy. That's what I'm saying. Special asterisk.
Starting point is 01:50:53 But not like Derrick Rose would have been. Because we can't make this use. We got to keep giving him time. We're still giving him time. Two different teams. Oh, he's still a bad motherfucker when he on there. And it's like, but when he on there, he on there. But when he not.
Starting point is 01:51:04 I mean, the dude plays 65 games of the third So I'm saying do all NBA asterisk on the next to it because he's never available And we praise him when we when we see him and it's like Team all NBA last ball second team all NBA 65 games. God damn So that I've shot the only place two games in the play. It ain't no what if. It is. He got it done. What do you do a year before that? I was hurt. Huh? I'm hurt. Say it again.
Starting point is 01:51:32 I was hurt. Okay, a year before that. Didn't they get beat in the first round? I'm listening to you. Didn't they get beat in the first round? He was hurt. He's only played 600. He was hurt. Huh? He's only played 600 games? He has a possible 1,150 games. He missed five.
Starting point is 01:51:50 Witnesses he was over with, and he's only played 698. Dang. So that is a... Yeah, technically it is a what if, but it's not a... What if he was playing like a real career? There's no discrediting. He's a Hall of Famer, but God damn, he could have been really up there. Asterix.
Starting point is 01:52:09 So 698 career games so far. Special situation. So he fits the Grant and all of them? So he fits that? Yeah. No, no, no. Grant did. No, no, I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:52:19 He's proven. He's better than him. He fits the what if. Yeah, the what if. T-Mac. T-Mac. Yeah. Vince Carter. What He fits the what if. Yeah, the what if. T-Mac. T-Mac. Yeah. Vince Carter, Greg Hill, Penny Hardaway.
Starting point is 01:52:28 Do you still put a what if on Kawhi? Like, what if he... Yeah, that's what I mean. So what if... Yeah, but what if... Oh, damn. But his level's still the what if, though. And he's top 75 already, right?
Starting point is 01:52:36 Like, what if... Was he top 75? Like, better than KD? Like, what if? Are we talking about that? Yes. Oh, okay. Like, what if he would have stayed healthy?
Starting point is 01:52:44 What would he be as a small forward? Would he still be in Toronto? Of them Oh, okay. Like, what if he would have stayed healthy? What would he be as a small forward? Would he still be in Toronto? Of them 1,100 possible games, what if he only... Like, what if he played 1,000? Would he still be in San Antonio? If he had 500 more games played. Would he still be in San Antonio? Yes.
Starting point is 01:52:57 That's a good question. Because he got hurt in San Antonio. Would he be considered one of the best to ever play at that position? That's a lot of games missed. That's a lot of games missed. 500 games missed. He's going to be a first-battle Hall of Famer. I'm thinking he's top 75. He's top 75. That's a lot of games. That's what I'm saying. He's going to be a first ballot Hall of Famer. I'm thinking he's top 75.
Starting point is 01:53:06 He's top 75. He's top 75. What if you gave him 500 games? Special. Jesus Christ. So we'll probably be up here saying he better be gone. So we have to. And KD.
Starting point is 01:53:15 No, we have to. No, not like that. You have to say this is special. This is a special argument. Because he got two finals. What is the what if? Because if the what if ain't. If he did that. Because he got two finals. Yeah, you. Because if the what if ain't, if he did that.
Starting point is 01:53:27 Because he got two finals. You're right. You're right. You're saying the what if is more than Brian. You're saying the what if could be more than Brian. He got two finals and two finals MVP. With minus 500. So he could probably have four or five championships. It's a small forward debate.
Starting point is 01:53:40 Okay. If he missed, he probably could have won an MVP if he stayed healthy. So two defensive players You probably got a MVP he would have probably got a couple MVP defense defensive player of the year He already got two different selections Like that argument of the goal. The asterisk. Yes. The asterisk. Oh, yes. He could be the big asterisk. Like, that argument of the GOAT. Yes. So he would be hated.
Starting point is 01:54:09 For sure. Right. I would actually protect him a little bit. You don't belong in this conversation. I would have hated him so much. He's an asshole, dawg. He's an asshole. Artificial ass out there.
Starting point is 01:54:17 I know. I know. I said, if he was beat up there with the GOAT, you would hate him. He's like, for sure. You don't belong here. Yes. I do. I do. His injuries have kind of's like, for sure. You're a wrong hair. Yeah. I knew.
Starting point is 01:54:25 His injuries have kind of protected him a little bit. You ain't like that. I didn't know he missed that many games. So you think Clippers still stand firm, believe in Kawhi? Yes. Kenya, you said this would be Kawhi's last stop. I know, right? That's what I'm looking at.
Starting point is 01:54:38 This would be his last stop. But when y'all say the word. If he gets hurt again, then he might have to like. No, no, no. I think this is it. But when y'all say like the word. Mentally, I don't he might have to, like... No, no, no, no. I think this is it. But when y'all say, like, the word... Mentally, I don't think it's... No, like, no, not for the purpose to get rid of him.
Starting point is 01:54:48 He needs to consider... He'll finish his contract. So he has two more years left on his deal, the three-year extension he signed. Dog, this nigga missed half his career, seven-time All-Defense Steel. Six-time All-Star Defensive Player of the Year, All-Star MVP.
Starting point is 01:55:04 And still rocking braids, which I think is remarkable In the fact that his joint ain't back here from getting pulled on his hair all Jerry Rice? I think I had braids. I'm losing my hair now. He stressed out. He stressed out. The fact that this shit ain't back here from getting braided all them years. He ain't stressed out. He ain't stressed out. But he don't got the Jerry Rice. That's a- I'm going to eBay right now.
Starting point is 01:55:31 Remarkable as well. For what? A Kawhi jersey? Trying to get that jersey before you can't get it no more. I don't even know which one I want to get. I'm glad y'all giving Kawhi some love on San Diego State. Yeah, I'm definitely, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, yeah. Asterix Bias, because yeah, he-
Starting point is 01:55:43 Yeah, I didn't know it was like- I didn't know. I did not know he missed half is. Yeah, I didn't know it was like that. I did not know he missed half his career, and this is what he got. With the other half, Jesus Christ. And I think part of that discussion, too, when this all went down earlier in the season, we talked about how the Thunder owned the Clippers pick, and that could potentially have been very high up in that lottery. But the team has been playing extremely well.
Starting point is 01:56:02 Obviously got the Intuit Dome, all the bathrooms, the fan zone, everything they got going on over there. The Chargers. You say it every single time. 1,100 bathrooms. You say it every time. The outlet. You better be getting paid for that, man, ever.
Starting point is 01:56:16 1,100 bathrooms. I think they got Gil's jersey. They got jerseys in every California high school team. What's going on there? Well, if they got a grand jersey, you got to be 25, right? I mean, I'm just saying. That's a bunch of jerseys in that bitch Jersey that bitch you got time to walk around that business Oh, you got something you can scan in there to try to find it
Starting point is 01:56:30 But still to to scan it didn't still just go try to walk the gate. Is it by shit is a lot I was one. Oh, it's not all in just one. You know, it's always all the way around So I'm trying to see if they got KJ's jersey in that bitch. I'm like, but I'm like... KJ's jerseys. That's fire. Damn! A rookie signed jersey by Kawhi, $15,000.
Starting point is 01:56:56 That ain't nothing for you, big baller. You got it. I mean, I like his stats, but I'm not like, $15,000. $15, grand is crazy. You might as well just go run up on them and have them signed. I'll sign them for you. It's the same, nigga.
Starting point is 01:57:16 I mean, how do we know that this jersey's here and you just didn't sign it yourself? I'll be hating, man. I signed it the same, goddamn. You can't tell who signed it. Just tell them it the same, goddamn. You can't tell who signed it. No matter. Let's keep this moving. Just tell them it was me, man.
Starting point is 01:57:28 You guys have some interesting opinions about Ant-Man showing love to SGA. Oh, shit. Oh, no. Y'all went crazy. Now we have to. He went crazy. It was all of us.
Starting point is 01:57:38 Yeah, kid. I seen it on. I saw it on Instagram. Take it to the home. They clipped it. Don't be putting it on Instagram. They clipped it. Don't be putting that on us. It was him. It was all of you. Him downstairs. What does that mean?
Starting point is 01:57:51 You were clutching your Bible. You had him looking like... He was right. His face said different. You look like me over here. His face said different. You're rebuking me. I can't take it. This is... Yeah, his face said different. You can be real. You can be real. I can't take it.
Starting point is 01:58:05 This is who. Yeah, his face said different. Now you see how I be feeling. Because he know that shit. Listen. Hey, man, we know you watch the show. There is not one time when he playing against LeBron four times a season, they ask him about LeBron in the interview, he going to be like,
Starting point is 01:58:20 oh, shit, he the best. He the best. He should get MVP every year. Give it to him right now. I think he's the best. You got it, champ. Go get it, champ. Like, ain't no one time Gil gonna say that shit. Even though he might think it. Sound like a boxer, huh?
Starting point is 01:58:34 Right? You the best, champ. You got it, champ. Santa, you talking about Jake Paul versus Tyson? They just telling that Tyson, you got it, champ. You the best, champ. Keep going out there, champ. Punch on him, champ. Oh man, you look great. Oh yeah, you won that round. I think you won a chair. You're the best chair keep going out there champ punch on them shit. Oh, man. You look great Yeah. Oh, yeah, you want that round? I think you want that around no Listen, I don't know if I ever been around boxers in a people they can't He can have fucking 12 losses mm-hmm out of 13 fights and they still go reference this motherfucker as champ
Starting point is 01:59:04 Are you to get you the best champ you got no matter what he's doing. He's the best in the room No, I'm at his fucking celebrity game in Florida's playing He got that cock in that motherfucker And his boys over to shoot that bitch champ you got that shit champ take him champ you know, I'm like Being on the money team seems like it's very beneficial Boxing you have to have a hype man If your hype man ain't hyping he fired but you listen you get your ass out of here I need to hear I need Man standing over you, waking you up. Come on, get up, champ.
Starting point is 01:59:45 Get up, champ. We got two more rounds. Two more rounds. Come on. You know your girl out there watching? Come on now. Come on now. Your mom and your kids are going to watch, champ.
Starting point is 01:59:53 Come on, we got school tomorrow, champ. Come on, quit. Back to what you were saying, Joe. We know Ant-Man watches the show. Ant-Man, we have a ton of love for you, a ton of respect for you. So Clippers lost to Timberwolves last night. Anthony Edwards had 37 points in 37 minutes, 14 for 29 from the field, including six for 13 from three. And man also had eight assists, seven rebounds in the wind. So Edwards is happy to be scoring again after being
Starting point is 02:00:14 held to 15 points back on January 2nd against the Celtics. He voiced his frustration with the double teams he saw that night. That was a good brand of basketball, but it's not how I want to play, of course. I mean, I'm only 23. I don't want to just be passing the ball all night. You feel me? You don't want to be my colleague. Yeah, at all. But the way that it guarded me, I think I have to.
Starting point is 02:00:38 I was going to say, how hard is it to just stay engaged? Super hard. Super hard. Super hard. Super hard. I mean, because I'm wired to score the ball. Do you think that's what teams are trying to do to you, like mentally trying to take you out of it? I don't know.
Starting point is 02:00:51 I don't know. I mean, that might be a part of it, but I know they're just doing it. I don't know if, like, their plan is, like, let's mentally take them out. Because it don't, like, take me all the way out of the game, but it definitely frustrates me a little bit. But them doubling me definitely is like, bro, what is going on? So yeah, I be trying to figure it out, man. Is it something where you have to just try to get the ball back after you give it up? Or how do you- Yeah, but then I don't wanna make it seem
Starting point is 02:01:20 like I'm chasing the ball every time. But then when I get doubled and give it up, and then go to the corner and make it seem like I'm just like, all right, I'm going to go with 10-1. So like I don't know what to do. It's long. It's a long clip. We get it.
Starting point is 02:01:34 So much. So, hey. Thank you, Paulo. So when y'all played against Kobe, right? Y'all were doubling and shacking up. Did they make adjustments? Did they, were they like, man, I can't play tonight? No.
Starting point is 02:01:45 Damn, like, I'm like, you know, I can't. For one, it's a sign of respect. For one, let's call it for what it is. Let's get this out there right now.
Starting point is 02:01:52 It's a sign of respect. It's a sign of respect to get the ball out your hand. We know you're not going to make a good decision. Right. Oh, that too. We know you're not used to this.
Starting point is 02:02:01 Both of those. Two sides to it. Two sides to it. It's a sign of respect or like you just said, oh, we don't trust your judgment and you're not used to this. There's two sides to a double team. Two sides. Two sides to it. It's a sign of respect, or like you just said, oh, we don't trust your judgment, and you're going to throw that motherfucker in the stands. Okay. Right?
Starting point is 02:02:12 And you don't like your teammate. You don't want to throw it to them. But I'm finna go. I'm going to let y'all cook in a different way, but my thought process is in this. So if I'm listing this as other teams... I'm doubling you every night You won't play basketball for the rest of the season facts you're gonna be upset all season long
Starting point is 02:02:35 It's gonna have to do some coaching get it out his hand right away. He'll have to do some coaching Mm-hmm. He don't want past it. He may want to put him in the post We're gonna dub you want to run the pick and roll we're gonna dub and you want to we're gonna dub he go to the bathroom. We're gonna double bodies bodies bodies bodies Don't keep to own it. We know it bother you him him him Right. We know it bothers you We just gonna double team But I let y'all because you will score you will score you he's emotional there. He's being too emotional Taking the ball out your hand taking the ball like ball like there's more creative. There's more content
Starting point is 02:03:09 You're the creator. What's the content so in the two games since he made those comments ever 45 points per game? Including a 53 point explosion and a loss to the Pistons this weekend. So guess what they did They ain't double not again. We're in watch film They ain't double like real professionals go watched film. They ain't doubling. Like real professionals go do. Before he made that comment, he was supposed to sit with his coaches and his team. We got to figure this shit out, bro. What happened tonight? Still didn't double him.
Starting point is 02:03:33 What happened tonight? They wasn't doubling the last two games. They wasn't doubling him. That's what I'm saying. So it's like, what happened tonight that fucked us up? Well, not every team is built to do that. What? Fucked who up?
Starting point is 02:03:41 To do what? The Timberwolves. When he got doubled. Not everybody want to do that the timber was when he got double They don't want to do you are well, I'm done again every I'm done for the rest of the year I mean, I agree. I would double him for the rest of the you know, I'm gonna play it against you kill on you How many times y'all trouble see the time we double and triple team every game every time you catch listen Either going on the catch or the drill, but just depends on We gonna call it.
Starting point is 02:04:05 Mm-hmm. We going. My tactic with a selfish player, pickup, he ain't passing it to nobody. Yell it out. He ain't passing it. I'm a double. Out of nowhere, I'm just gonna go double, get out his hands. He don't want...
Starting point is 02:04:20 Dang, man, I got passed to him? Give it back, give it back, give it back. Nah, I'm gonna deny that. Oh, he want it all to himself. Yeah it back, give it back, give it back. Nah, I'm going to deny that. Oh, he won it all to himself. Yeah. Oh, we're going to take him out the game. Once he do this pass here. Take him out the game. That right there, oh, we know it.
Starting point is 02:04:33 That pass there? We own him. Oh, we own him. Oh, listen, oh, we got you. I'm sending a signal to him. I'm like, oh, we got him, big dog. We got him. We got him.
Starting point is 02:04:42 He don't want it. You was double teamed a lot? He don't want it. Huh? You got double teamed a lot? He don't want it. Huh? You got double teamed a lot? Yeah, I never seen a double team good enough to make me pass the ball. I don't even know what them problems look like, man. I don't even know what you're...
Starting point is 02:04:55 Obviously, they don't practice against double teams in their workouts. Like, you are a star player, which means you are going to be doubled. When you're going through your fucking workout, and you're going to get your trainer, and y'all do this goofy shit where I come off the pick and roll, and we're going to switch, there's going to be some games where they double. Just so you know. So you should already know what it's supposed to look like.
Starting point is 02:05:21 Yes. You're supposed to know who's going to double. If I know I'm coming off this ping and roll and this guy's going to come, he's slow. Okay, I'm going to go around him. Okay, how is he split? I'm going to split him.
Starting point is 02:05:32 I'm going to fake up. This double team shit don't work. You can still pass it and go get it back. Go get it back. Because obviously... We learned that as fucking youth. Yeah, pass, go run, get it. You coming like this for me to pass the ball.
Starting point is 02:05:44 Why you think we teach the son? They going to come with their legs over it. Nuck man. I watch motherfucker Tinsley. Every time. Anybody who tries to get down and pick and roll. Fact. Because that's the habit, right?
Starting point is 02:05:58 You got to come up like this, throw between his legs. Like, that shit works if you've never prepared for it. Absolutely. You guys are trying to get to this upper it I've never seen Kobe Michael Jordan allies Tracy McGrady
Starting point is 02:06:15 Double team come down the influence. They ain't thinking about it I know somebody open. It makes their eyes lit right up. I know somebody open. Yeah. Yeah. But I'm still open. They're going to jab both of you motherfuckers. I'm still open. I'm still going to jab both of you motherfuckers. Fuck. But that also goes to his knowledge of- Bella going to fake that mouth.
Starting point is 02:06:32 That also goes to his knowledge of knowing the game of basketball. Absolutely. Like remember he was talking shit about the older, like he didn't know nothing about the past. Like that's the issue. You don't know nothing about the past of these guys who went through this. Oh, nobody was good like Michael You got Kobe all these days. Hey, but you remember when Devin Booker was complaining in
Starting point is 02:06:51 Double teaming is like a double team in in the run. Yeah. Yes. Yes and what I hope you say you gonna have to send another I text you don't blame enough. You're gonna send three into me and pick up Yeah, I mean him had a conversation. Well, Texas has to tell them to come to the show. And I told him, I said, because I was getting doubled, I had to train it. Right? So even in practice, because I said, what happens is you never get doubled in pickup. You never get doubled in your workouts.
Starting point is 02:07:19 You never get doubled in training camp. You never get doubled in your practices. The first time you get doubled is when somebody do it to you and it hits you in the first half. Now you got to go back. That's why they call it red. You try to figure out. They say red, blitz them.
Starting point is 02:07:33 You get hit and you get, do that as shit in practice. Do it in your personal workouts. When you're in the post, you got to know where it's coming from. He's going to come from here. How's this guy? You got to sit here. You got to pass it, get coming from. He's going to come from here. How this guy, like, you got to sit here. You got to pass it, get it back. Like, those are supposed to be part of your drills.
Starting point is 02:07:50 That's why you motherfuckers can't trap Curry. He trains against that shit. Ain't nobody watch. Everybody just want to watch this shooting from 30, right? No. Watch everything else but the shooting from 30. You come in, pass it. I wish you would.
Starting point is 02:08:04 You're going to run right about it. I wish you would Wish you would if I see this y'all double in the night is that oh, yeah, I'm talking to my big a big they doubling Oh back door You see it already. We know we know man. I was like I mean when I did my first and fucking Greg was a great Garrett was a grant for Miami. Brian Grant. Brian Grant. That hard-ass show from the blitz all the way to the goddamn half court. Blitz to the free throw line.
Starting point is 02:08:32 Yeah. That was the rule. That was the big rule. Now them dudes jump out there to do this, and they'll run out. Like, no. As soon as this man, you're going to back up. You're going to have to keep going that didn't tonight And he'll steal the ball from yeah
Starting point is 02:08:48 Him and them Wallace to be able to keep they gonna stay ready to you. It's like a trap As soon as I come off past the fucking But then guess what I tell so I'm gonna jump out there right if I'm exert my energy jump out this motherfucking trap him I'm gonna tell you in practice listen shoot around whatever it is. I'm a trap him. Mm-hmm. Don't let this motherfucker ball back dog Don't let do you have to deny him. Hold him, grab him, listen. Dante Jones told a story about we playing. Listen, what you got to do?
Starting point is 02:09:29 What you got to do to stop Cole from getting the ball, dog? We trap him, hold him, pinch him, trip him. Get the ball out your hand. Don't let him catch the ball, man. Can't smell it. Dante Jones was very fearful of what would have happened if he did not. No, it just wasn't. It was a collective thing, though, as a team, dog.
Starting point is 02:09:46 If we're going to exert enough energy as a band to do this, you got to do your part. Now, try not to. He's too good. And we don't have that. That's the whole point of all of that. It's like, Ant-Ed was supposed to be understanding that. The double team for good teams, like, if he faced y'all team,
Starting point is 02:10:01 he would be so frustrated. He would look like Jamal Murray looked when they faced the Timberwolves. He gave up. He basically gave up because they blitzed him every time. He don't like that. Oh, he don't like that. Get it out of here. Then when we play on top of what we're doing, right, we're doing all that to you.
Starting point is 02:10:18 I don't know if I had to do it. And we beat your ass. Look at my par back. We're doing all that. Listen, I'm pushing off. You didn't pass the ball. I didn't push you in your throat. Man. Who am I? Twisting your ass. We do it all. Listen, I'm pushing off. You didn't pass the ball. I didn't push you in your throat. Man.
Starting point is 02:10:28 Boom. I didn't. You're twisting your hips. You did it. Oh, man. You passed and it gets hit. You passed it. The ref watching the ball, right?
Starting point is 02:10:36 You passed it. The ref watching the ball. I didn't boom you and took off running that way. For hitting the ball first. Right. Every, listen. You cut across the lane. You didn pass in the cut across the land you Three times why you cut through this paint after you didn't pass this I just want they doing none of that no more
Starting point is 02:10:55 He's got to do with it. What is a That was a cop. That's the thing. I get what he's saying. It's a generation. I know it is selfish mode He's in selfish the selfish age where it's about it's okay Individual statistics. Yeah, okay, right. It's okay right Mike. I want to get my stats Everybody else trying to win. Yep. See my peers everybody else getting these looks and these shots. Yeah, it's frustrating Because I don't want to just be out here passing the ball. I don't want to be playing team ball. Fuck that. That's the worst part. That's the worst part. I don't want to be out here passing.
Starting point is 02:11:28 That's the worst part. Just passing the ball? Remember what I said? Who the fuck does that in basketball? Who fucks that shit? You just got to get out of the trap. That's all. Just get out of the double team.
Starting point is 02:11:38 Go get the ball back. Remember when I said, fans, y'all be listening to us because we're media trained and we be saying this goofy shit that y'all be listening to us because we're media trained and we be saying this goofy shit that y'all get mad at us when we say the real shit, what we used to think.
Starting point is 02:11:50 For sure. When I said, yeah, it was great team ball. We played great team ball. I'm not happy that I had the pass. You think I'm happy that I had 15 fucking points on 10 shots
Starting point is 02:12:01 and this motherfucker got 25. He got 35. He's smiling and shit. Now he think he the man don't even play Yeah, the good game he said for real He said he said I don't like this Falling off. Oh. Michael Jordan sitting in this pass in the middle. Pass in the who? Pass in the who?
Starting point is 02:12:26 Man, I wish I knew. Jon Paxson, nigga? Huh? Buddy, dog. Hey, man. Look at me averaging 15, and we winning 60-something games? Fuck. No.
Starting point is 02:12:37 Not today. I'd rather win. Not today. Not today. Not at my age. Not at my age. Not at 43. 10 games.
Starting point is 02:12:44 Who the fuck do you think I am, Kevin Durant or somebody? Give me 10 games and 40. I'm not 35, mother. 23. I'm supposed to be putting that bitch up. Well, shit. I can respect that. I can respect that.
Starting point is 02:12:55 23 and 8. That right there, I would fuck with him for the rest of his career with that. I would do it. Amen. That's nasty. Hey, the game double if it's one, four, flat. That's where it came from. Yeah, we can. We can both fucking start running from these sorry play I'm back a that you go down you go down you go down cuz I can see it coming now
Starting point is 02:13:13 Flat yeah, can't double a flat. That's why I was Korea all summer Can't one for you. I don't need no pick and roll fuck on the pick and roll. That's just bringing extra play They try to exploit the matchup cuz yeah, they're trying to therefore you see you was fast enough You know, you get by the house in front of you, right? See they don't have that. They don't think they get by the guy They Got the most they try to know They're trying to go against a big they manipulating the pick and roll the game so whoever I can put in this pick and roll So yes, I'm gonna get the smallest the weakest. Yeah, roll me. So now I can put in this pick and roll so I can get the smallest the weakest defender on me
Starting point is 02:13:45 So now I can get to my shit. Yes. Like no he going to get Whoever's in front of me Yeah the motherfucker that's guarding is a mismatch And that's what we always talk about I'm going to set your ass And if you don't want to do that you can't complain about the double That's why I respect his advantage because he's 6'4 I'm 6'4 J.Kidd's 6'4 And I'm pretty sure you looked he's 6'4", I'm 6'4", J.Kidd's 6'4". And I'm pretty sure you looked at J.Kidd like,
Starting point is 02:14:08 I'm the same size as J.Kidd. Why can't I play the point guard? And now I got a bunch of little motherfuckers on me all night long. I never even thought about getting J.Kidd. I wish I would have got J.Kidd. He's the smallest on the team. So it's just going to be a struggle night.
Starting point is 02:14:25 Every night. Every night. And he don't understand that grind. That's crazy he don't understand that. Listen, I'm the best player. You know what it is, too? They don't have different packages. Let's say I'm playing San Antonio, right?
Starting point is 02:14:37 I have Tony Parker going straight post work. Then they're going to switch off. They're going to put bowing on me. Iso work, right? Because put bowing on one on you. Yep. I so work Yep, right because I got the foot speed on right so you have to have different packages to get against Tastes me Looked at the game and looked at certain you get a big man on you and you sit here taking job job. You settle in how there's one They're all they're naturally scared of you gonna blow by absolutely
Starting point is 02:15:15 They're already retreat most of all you guys do just fake like you buddy Harry Okay, you know if I got Rudy guarding me out, who the fuck is protecting the rim when I drive? Yes. Nobody. Like, you really think Rudy was trained to run down somebody and LeBron James you? No, he don't got that type of athleticism to run down and hit that motherfucker, grab it off the backboard. No, he's weak side help.
Starting point is 02:15:42 You got one move against a big like that. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. And if you can't hit that, you're stuck. Pass it. Get off it. Have you ever seen Rudy, somebody running, he's chasing, doing a... No, you lift your eyebrows. He's jumping.
Starting point is 02:15:59 Look at the rim against most big. He ain't even got to do the ball. Yes. He going to jump. I used hey. He going to jump. I used to love you, Phil McGee. Hey. I got you. You got you.
Starting point is 02:16:08 What? Hey, hey. I got you again. First. Yes. He'll learn. Yeah, no, it's just that. He got to study the defense.
Starting point is 02:16:18 Yeah. That's a... You know what I mean? It's one of those things. You have a bad game. What's the number one thing you do when you get home? Film. Yep. Right? So are you thinking about this generation? Are they going home
Starting point is 02:16:29 and doing film? Maybe. Let's just say maybe. But you would make that comment if you actually did it on a regular basis. You already were doing it before. Who are they watching film with? Who are they watching film with? If you're watching film with a motherfucker who averaged four for god damn it
Starting point is 02:16:45 You might as well just watch It's about somebody telling you the real shit somebody holding you accountable Even if I'm on your life and I score four and I'm like, yo You still didn't get back on defense. I think I never do with my points per game. It's like No, what I'm saying is from how I look at it it Right if I'm watching him get doubled and I'm saying all right. He's doubling. Why did you go this way? Right this is the slower guy you have you might not have foot speed against him you have foot speed against him Right then like what King says is don't let him get him back, right? So I know this is picking road coming and I know he has the hedge right here
Starting point is 02:17:23 What King is saying is go you go you don't yell at him because what I'm gonna do is I'm a hurry up and pass It hold him here. Yeah, so he got I'm a hold him him can you gotta run his ass? Now I got the lead pound or account. Yeah now can you mad at him? Yeah, I'm gonna keep doing the same They don't take the doubles off. Yeah, they know take the day. That's not You keep letting them catch it back. Hey fucking us up, man We don't know what to do. Yeah, but that's that's part of but that's something that you have to watch If you're somebody who's done it has to that's it. So he needs to call people who's been double call
Starting point is 02:17:55 Yes, curry like call curry a man when you're getting double Now call the guy Call your boy crush. You just got done crushing on he get double team. that you just... No. Call your boy crush you just got done crushing on. He get double teamed. Oh, shit? Yeah. Yes. Call your boy crush.
Starting point is 02:18:09 You got to call... That's what I'm saying. Like, no. Boy crush is the same. But they're enemies game. But you... He's just giving them his flowers. But you have to...
Starting point is 02:18:18 He's giving them his flowers. You have to gain knowledge. You need more positivity. You have to get... You're only 23. He's not seeking knowledge. He's not seeking knowledge. positivity you have to get your only He's not you need it. You need to ask someone who's who's older who's been there before So they know you can learn it now. So stopping if they are watching film I don't know if they are watching film and what to what degree and what they're doing why they watch a film Film sessions are not just highlight reels.
Starting point is 02:18:45 Critiques. They watching to see how many shots they got. Oh, let me watch this move I made him fall on. Like, no, dog. That's not what this shit should be meant for. It's not what it's meant for. Your film should be stopping and asking questions or whoever you're watching film
Starting point is 02:19:05 with them asking you question like you said why did you go this way why didn't you pass the display and get the ball back running pin down is asking questions and making you think so the next time you're in this situation that they're doubling you trying to W you prepare for so you oh shit I watched this on film now I'm just talking about I was just talking about that it might take a time out for somebody but hey you remember we just talked about that right oh yeah we got oh shit you know what then he go to Rudy hey Rudy now now you but and that's what's watching film because I ask KJ all the time what do y'all watch in film and the things that I talk about with him what the games I watch are not the things that I talk about with him, the games I watch, are not the things that they talk about in film.
Starting point is 02:19:45 So he has an advantage in the situation because I'm asking him questions on this situation. What did you do in this? And now he's able to go to his people and watch film. Listen, I tell him, hey, you go ask them for all your minutes, watch what you did in this play, this play, this play. So he go to them and be like, I need my minutes on this play, this play. So it's helping him get better and helping the people watching film with him
Starting point is 02:20:09 understand how he sees the game. Yeah, what he's looking at. Right, how he sees the game. So now you just coming to me with a game plan and telling me that I need to roll in here when the situation told me to pop. Yeah. Right, because you telling me that I need to roll 85% of the time. I'm like, no.
Starting point is 02:20:23 It's serious, though though cuz then the coach is Hearing from the camera the video guy like a cage They've been looking at a lot of film on the pick and pop when we run this action because he's been looking and he's been shooting It a lot better. We might need to Hold you roll against guys Yep, you'll be not being told I give itid if Embiid is in a pick and roll and he's gonna harsh up roll Yeah, all every time. Yes seal depending on the depending on the weak side Especially if no if you I John you can jump right or somebody you got a bad knee pop
Starting point is 02:20:56 Pump fake him run up We should though when you hear your teammates a man be out here passing all day. Yeah, that shit is crazy So that's that's the worst part of it. Crazy shit ever. You know everybody will be like I ain't signed up for this Passes to these motherfuckers I know when a motherfucker here you say some shit in practice and they quit I had a teammate that of his Kwame Like just so you know All right, he was mad he didn't get the ball and I say every time we we give it to you don't do shit with It so there's no point and And then he got drunk, and then he quit. Josiah.
Starting point is 02:21:46 No, no, that's the last time we played together. He quit. Josiah. He just didn't show up no more. This is his show. Does anybody want to know what happened? He quit. He didn't play no more. He quit and said, I'm done. Because y'all said y'all didn't want to pass him the ball?
Starting point is 02:21:56 He only played three minutes. I don't know how many times he thought we was going to pass him the ball in three minutes. But he only played three minutes that game. And he said, if he ever got the ball, he can do with it, with it, do something with it. And I basically said out loud, when we do pass you the ball, you don't do shit with it. Now, can we celebrate this win? And then I went home, got drunk, and then never showed up again.
Starting point is 02:22:23 See you in the middle of the Laker Jersey next and man 54 But I've said he started off with five with us You know how sorry you got don't know you have a single-digit number and say, you know what? Let me get another one on this mother fucker. Don't say a vision there Let me get a number that that. What number you wearing? Four. Four, right now. Imagine average, like Adam, seven.
Starting point is 02:22:51 Now 47, that is a number you're wearing. Oh yeah, then he just get folded, stay out. Yeah, you're right. That's the face when we see that. 47, yuck. Sound like 54. That's worse than 54. It sounds like 54.
Starting point is 02:23:02 47 is not like 54. It's worse. I was thinking like, 54 flow. They don't even have a question that had that's worse. No, it's like it sounds like 47 Float Who 54 47 is way worse than 54 54 double zero one You double zero, but he was like 50 For a great number. No, no, it's not No, yeah, you gotta grow up man
Starting point is 02:23:26 Office of guard nobody No, no, but look notice the do called Jordan and Pippen no, no, this is the bad part about 54 What makes you change on you got five right You go you get you go to a new team. The only thing that makes you change your number is what? Someone has it already. Someone has it! Right? Not this case. Not this case.
Starting point is 02:23:57 He just wanted to just get a new, just get me, just add FOMO to this one. I just need a new, just 54. No one had five. Your your chat disagree. So 54 is a very solid number He's got a few if you started your career for the board Not if you started with five and then add times other numbers are just taking all right, or you pick 54 I'm poor that's how many Sometimes it's forced on you
Starting point is 02:24:22 run out of things to say about that man is crazy. Maybe he's just, you know, five before he's nine, and that's just how many baby mamas he had or she was at that time. I don't know. Maybe it's just a shout-out for them. Shout-out Popeye Jones, proud wearer of number 54. Nasty work, too. Popeye. Popeye. Shout-out to Popeye.
Starting point is 02:24:37 Popeye? 54. You know, you said Popeye Jones was 54. Popeye Jones. Disgusting work. Hey! Okay, that makes sense. Popeye Jones, I'm a brown. Shout out Rodney Rogers. Rodney Rogers. Thank you.
Starting point is 02:24:48 Come on, man. All right, Deebo. Thank you, Rodney Rogers. I mean, that's a good win. That's a good win. Y'all dug deep for that. Come on, man. We digging.
Starting point is 02:24:56 You dug deep. Let us dig. You dug deep. You dug deep. You dug deep. You dug deep. You dug deep. You dug deep.
Starting point is 02:25:04 You dug deep. You dug deep. You dug deep. You dug deep. You dug deep. I'm looking too. I'm surfing right now. I'm trying to. Nice, D-Mo. Nice. 54, when you have a little bit of everything. That's why he got 54. What happened? Somebody said.
Starting point is 02:25:14 Oh, my God. Because of Papa Jones. He was the only one who liked you. And then when you got traded, you said, I want to represent. That is the whole thing, right? When he was with the Wizards, the only person that actually fought for him was Popeye Jones. Popeye Jones was 54.
Starting point is 02:25:33 So when he left the Wizards, shed their skin, and went to the Lakers, the only person he crushed on was Popeye Jones. So he wanted to feel like he was Popeye Jones. I get it. And now I feel like going home So let you know you was a sneaky leak. Okay, boy Okay, you crushed on some Popeye Jones
Starting point is 02:25:53 Yeah, we got to live here man. You got to be here. He don't listen. We gotta live here He just ignores it he's like I don't care Jones in the room something mean He just ignores it. He's like, I don't care. I don't care. I'm about to say, good. Book your couch, sir. Book your couch. I put Popeye Jones in the rim something mean. Oh, I put Popeye Jones in the rim something mean. What's with the neck? Was he a good player? I just, the name just was good.
Starting point is 02:26:15 Yes. OK. For his body, for what he got out of it. So you look at some guys, you're like, he got the best out of that body, right? He got the best. He got the best out of that. Yeah. Couldn't jump over a Saturday's newspaper. Mark Madsen style. Guys you like like right side of that body right you got the best you got the best idea. Oh, yeah
Starting point is 02:26:29 Couldn't jump over Saturday's newspaper mark Madison style To this day my mother still reads the newspaper, okay So I'm she's big in newspaper forever. So the Saturday newspaper is the thinnest newspaper You can get sunny that thick motherfucker like sunny got anything Uh-huh the week got all the fucking coupons in and all that Saturday. They just Pop I just shoot that motherfucker like that. That bitch just go in, though. He was picking pop. Picking Papa. 15, 16 footer.
Starting point is 02:27:08 Popeye was knocking that motherfucker down. For everybody on the couch, it's 2025. I'm tired of walking around Summer League, All-Star Weekend, every time I see a player. I got to think, Dan, who insulted him on the couch? I ain't going to lie. I be sitting in my hotel, trying to figure out who I pissed off. Let me see.
Starting point is 02:27:22 Let me. So you're going to bring Jack? So we go to Vegas, I'll bring Jack. And I I pissed off. Let me see. Let me. So you're going to bring Jack? So we go to Vegas, I'll bring Jack, and I'll let you walk around with Jack. Bring Freedom, too. Not Freedom. It's 2025, man.
Starting point is 02:27:37 See, for Freedom, it might not be intimidating. See, Freedom might not be intimidating. But I see players, I give them the what's up. Hey, you see Jack. Jack going to be like, yeah, you're going to go the other way. You see Jack. I agree. I can't wait to's up. Hey, you see Jack. Jack going to be like, yeah, you're going to go the other way. You see Jack. I agree. I can't wait to Summer League. I'm not giving nobody credit.
Starting point is 02:27:49 I got a big sweep. Because you play a sport, and I got an opinion on how you play. I'm walking through that line like Pac. It ain't personal. It ain't personal. Watch. It ain't personal. This year in Vegas Summer League, I'm on one like Pac.
Starting point is 02:28:02 You by yourself with the Pac shit, bro. You're going to be by yourself with the Pac shit. No, I'm not. We're not. We're not. We're not. You see what happened to him in Vegas Summer League, I'm on one like Pac. You're by yourself with the Pac shit, bro. You're going to be by yourself with the Pac shit. No, I'm not. We're not. You see what happened to him in Vegas? He's not listening. He's not listening. I didn't mean to say it like that. He's not listening.
Starting point is 02:28:12 No, no, no. I'm just saying. I didn't mean to say it like that, but I'm just saying. We're not trying to be on that type of shit. You're stating the odds. I am. I'm just saying. I'm going to have an orange shirt on everybody.
Starting point is 02:28:21 I'm not into this. I'm pretty sure you want to come back on. Well, mine won't be. I did a big sweet, Tim. I'm going to throw a party. Tim is here. We do need the big suite. We're going to go to Costco this time. They'll get the big bottles of beverage.
Starting point is 02:28:33 We're going to really maximize, be efficient this year. Real service. It's the New Year, man. I'm going to give out $500. Gil's giving out $500 before we start, Mosse-Fan. For what? No, do it now, Gil. They want their money. It's New Year's, man. It's we start, Musty Fan. Oh, is Musty Fan going for what? No, do it now, Gil. They want their money.
Starting point is 02:28:45 It's New Year's, man. It's New Year's money, man. Just pick somebody to give the $500 to, and then we will do Musty Fan's presented by underdog. Might as well just set up a little welfare system, man. Come here, you. A little, a little. Yeah, I'm going to wear my well.
Starting point is 02:29:00 If you got the last name Brown, no, nobody paying you broke asses. You saying Brown? Yeah, no, nobody paying you broke asses. You saying Brown? Yeah, nah, y'all going to have to. Oh, Lexi Brown. Are you? Oh, no. Are you part of the fam?

Starting point is 02:29:20 I'm sorry. I'm sorry. The stray was crazy. I know. I didn't even think about it. I'm sorry, Dee Brown. Not that Brown, right? It's the Brunswick brown.

Hey, you know time it is but first question from underdog user daddy MC If you could take out remove two NBA teams, what teams would it be and why if you can remove two NBA teams. Sacramento Kings and the Clippers. Brandon, you wasted no time. No hesitation. No time with those. Sacramento Kings and the Clippers. I would say Brooklyn Nets can go. Nah. Brooklyn Nets can go.
Starting point is 02:30:32 Hell no, because I want longer time in New York. But you don't want a longer time in L.A., bro. Yeah, what? Well, you're from here. The Clippers and the... You don't want to spend more time in L.A. I want to go to Seattle. Seattle, crack it.
Starting point is 02:30:43 So, I would... Garden, lovely city. Get rid of... Two teams to get rid of. Move. Get rid of. Get rid of. They don't exist.
Starting point is 02:30:51 Remove. Remove from the NBA. Like gone forever? Oh, I thought... See, I don't want to shit on people like that. I want to get... I would like to move... Can I say, can we move them somewhere else?
Starting point is 02:30:59 The Memphis Grizzlies. The Memphis Grizzlies. Memphis and... Memphis, a fine city. Miffians. I'm not but it Dan got no people to live there to support the team. I'm looking at the totalities. Let's help grow the community I know sounds good. Tell me stop killing niggas
Starting point is 02:31:14 back that's right This is Sacramento so she I can middle can go whole fucking, I can't believe it's the capital. Yeah, because I think I called a straight within there. Bingo plan wearing my... I don't know if I called a straight within the dude's rant that he did. Yeah, you did. Yeah, you did. So if I called a straight then yeah, I'm going to put Sacramento on there.
Starting point is 02:31:36 I think you weren't mentioned for some reason and you had nothing to do with it. I go Charlotte. I was going to say Charlotte. Charlotte, I ain't serious. Charlotte cracking. What are you talking about? Charlotte cracking. Is it? Charlotte is cracking. I like Charlotte. You just seem What are you talking about? Charlotte cracking. Is it? Charlotte is cracking.
Starting point is 02:31:46 I like Charlotte. Oh, you just mean like that would be in a better place. It's cracking literally. Huh? Cracking literally. Yeah, whatever. It's cracking. What the fuck does that mean?
Starting point is 02:31:55 Literally everything. What the fuck does that mean? Falling the fuck apart. That's what I'm saying. When I was in college, it was like kind of going. Kind of going where? It looked like it was getting more poppy and then it just declined. It's a little lana.
Starting point is 02:32:04 He went through the notes. It's a little he within the nose a little Anna Small small It was trying to be I don't know what happened. Yes, I remember some cold cities Minnesota or They got turns at Milwaukee or Beach Man, what's't going nowhere. Basketball.
Starting point is 02:32:26 Man, West ain't going nowhere. Because that shit all connected around the lake. It's two teams. Just get that 34. Two teams. Hey, yeah, go get it. Nah, they can get rid of Toronto.
Starting point is 02:32:36 We don't need to go out of country. Portland. Yeah, I'm cool. We don't need to go out of country. I'm sorry, Toronto. I'ma just be honest with you. Toronto, I... Portland.
Starting point is 02:32:42 Because y'all been decent. Toronto. Not Portland. Utah can go too. I always get the ones our Portland in Utah sales second Portland, Portland in Utah. No Been a few times great. Why do you know what I'm going to Utah in Toronto? Cuz everything you got to go through to go into When you leave Toronto what is this important? Well. I'm going to Sacramento. But what you're leaving with when you leave Toronto is what's important. Well, what you're leaving with, you might not came with, too. All right.
Starting point is 02:33:11 I know. They put another team. And I'm like, huh. You might not leave what you came with, too. But damn. You know what? I can tell you this right now. Whenever we go to Toronto, no one's
Starting point is 02:33:21 actually happy about the process. The process of going. of going because they ain't got no work No, no, no two in the morning. You got work on the other side the process is no one I'll give you there to a car having a back-to-back going to Toronto is the worst thing Two o'clock you might get out of this like 335 Back, back. It's just. Hey. As soon as I land, oh, yeah. Not the city itself. Oh, yeah. Not the city itself. Just the process.
Starting point is 02:33:48 Just the customs. And please don't have somebody on your team have something on their record. You know that motherfucker got, oh my god. We're going to leave him. Don't stall me. It's a smooth transition. Just the customs.
Starting point is 02:33:58 Once you get there, snow can be up to this motherfucker. Yeah. Hey, you brought your boots. It's just the customs. See, we don't got to worry about that. On that note, don't stall me. Since we do not have a stripper today,
