Starting point is 00:11:27 versus Jake Paul fight. More than 60 million people legally tuned in for the fight, and I'm going to say at least 60 more illegally because it had buffering issues, all types of stuff going on. Dealt with that throughout the evening, along with Tyson exposing his bare butt cheeks to the viewing audience during a pre-fight interview, foreshadowing what was to come, because the fight would prove to be ass.

Starting point is 00:11:50 Damn, man. It went all eight rounds, each shortened to two minutes instead of the traditional three with the boxers using 14-ounce gloves instead of the standard 10-ounce gloves, and ended with Jake Paul winning by unanimous decision against the 58-year-old Tyson. So Tyson looked like a shadow of his former self.

Starting point is 00:12:06 He was battling a knee injury, and it was appearing to take it easy on a 28-year-old Paul. We saw that jab in the first round. Jake Paul was like, slow down. This wasn't in the agreement. We got to keep it going. But Jake Paul now 11-1 with his only loss coming from Tommy Fury. So Tyson reportedly walked away with $20 million,

Starting point is 00:12:23 which is a solid bag to take an L. And after losing to Paul, Tyson reflected on the fight with the following tweet. He said, this is one of those situations when you lost but still won. I'm grateful for last night. No regrets to get in the ring one last time. I almost died in June, had eight blood transfusions, lost half my blood and 25 pounds in hospital, and had to fight to get healthy

Starting point is 00:12:45 to fight so I won. To have my children see me stand toe to toe and finish eight rounds with a talented fighter half my age in front of a packed Dallas Cowboy Stadium is an experience that no man has the right to ask for. You're actually handicapping yourself for the responsibility of trying to pick players. This is why I say if I was a coach, I would want the challenge of just giving me the players that you're going to give me, and I have to figure out how to make them work. You're fired then.

That's going to be the challenge for every coach is not to just have a design format for every player to be the same type of player you wish them to be. You got to go in each year, inside and out. This player might have changed from last year. You got to re-get to know him. You got to go back and be like, yo, I got to figure out what this guy actually like this year and next year and the year after that. But to be a good coach, you got

Starting point is 02:30:28 I didn't play 13 years. I played four years. And after looking at my per 36, for my four years that I played, I don't feel bad about falling short of the expectation. Because I know I could have been. I know what I was doing. And so for guys like Greg, Kwame, all the guys on the outside, it's like, all right,

Starting point is 02:30:51 I may not have taken advantage of my ability in the NBA. I might not have maximized my shit. I might have gotten hurt early and I didn't rehab to the maximum. I didn't take it as serious. Whatever the case may be, everybody got regrets.

Starting point is 02:31:07 But that's where the mental health come in, where you got to understand there's other people going through the same type of shit. And sometimes it's out of your control. Sometimes when people then bring up those old scars, you have to fight for yourself. And you have to attack everybody that's attacking you. I get it. But that's the difference.

Starting point is 02:31:23 Injury, injury. Y'all had to accept something, right? So when you say 13 years, right? I'm sitting back like If that's if if that's what you want to hang your hat on is that you laugh you Lasted 13 years that because that's a problem because of this who you are of 13 years don't match what you did because of this.

Starting point is 02:31:53 In our era, a healthy seven-footer, a healthy center made $10 million. Kenyon, there was a guy, you was a free agent. I heard the story of what you said. There was a free agent who averaged three points and three rebounds and got paid.

Starting point is 02:32:18 What did you say as a free agent? Right? Shit, hey, give me, hey, he averaged three and three and got that? Shit, I can average six and six and double that.
