It's crazy how we make fun of him every day for his clothes and he don't care.
Then he goes out to the golf course and then the corn balls make fun of you and you like,
I got to get my clothes game up.
Off clothes.
Off clothes.
Who's different?
So what did you wear when they made funny is what I want to know.
Yeah, who told you?
I had on some basketball shorts.
Clayer.
They let you play?
Yeah.
No, I'm not.
The courts wouldn't let.
I had a polo, though.
I had a polo with some basketball.
It would have been like, excuse me.
Who made funny?
Who made fun of you?
A clubhouse, sir.
Another wash.
Somebody want to come buy something.
Yes.
Another wash, Arizona.
Yeah.
Oh, Richard Jefferson.
No, Shannon Fry.
Oh, shen fry.
Shannon and fry.
Yeah.
You let's shit on.
It's a friend of a lot of white people and shit, you know.
It hurt your ego a little bit.
It kind of hurt my feelings.
Okay.
All right, well, good to see you, dipper and dapper here.
But this is Gil's Arena presented by Underdog.
Woo-Woo.
I'm merely a host, Josiah Johnson.
As always, we got the NBA and NBA 2K legend.
Gilbert Arena is here with him.
What?
I just whipped corner boy Jeff Teague ass just today.
Did the Teague time.
Oh, he was a corner boy, corner boy.
Like he built this character just like him.
Play defense, can't shoot, sit in the corner.
You were not wearing.
That's a nice jacket, though.
Shorts or pants for that game.
Oh, that's T-Time.
I'm familiar with T-Tan.
I don't know why you felt to embrace the trend, but that is what it is.
My son said, hey, man, might as well beat him.
Beat him in his T-time.
See the next again.
We got NBA Champion of the World Swaggy.
Pete, Nick Young.
And on this side of the couch looking distinguished, as always, the distinguished gentleman from Oak Cliff, former number one pick, Kenyon Martin, back here with us.
What's that, this?
I like the season four-fifth game.
Something like.
Something like something here.
It went to the back of the closet.
It's just the back of the closet.
Yeah, it went to the back of the closet.
And last but not least, represent tough crowd, tough crowd.
We got Mr. B. Brandon Jennings.
That's a nice shirt.
I'm a member now.
I have a membership, so I'm a club member.
So Woodland Hills.
So William Hills Country Club right over here?
So no more Tough Crowd University.
Mr. B, membership golfer.
Hold on.
Say, ooh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Got who said, represent a tough crowd.
You know, you got that the Jonasi look on right now.
That's the Jonas' he look.
I've just updated it right now in the script.
But I can still show love the tough crowd, though, right?
Yeah, for sure, for sure.
Golf club member.
Mr. B. Brandy, he's back here with us.
We got a lot of basketball to get into today.
Here's what's cracking in Gills Arena today.
The grizzly suspended John Moran for conduct detrimental to the team.
Can Memphis salvage the relationship with their franchise player?
The Lakers have won four straight games while getting big production in unexpected places.
Is the purple and gold supporting cast enough to get them over the hump?
And the bulls are holding down the top spot in the Eastern Conference
behind what is shaping up to be a career year from Josh Giddy
is the Giddler proven he can be a star in this league.
But before we get into all that,
as always, this show is brought to you by Underdog.

We have audio versions available on Apple, Spotify, wherever you get your podcast.
So we're going to get right to it.
I'm going to start this show in Memphis where a situation may or may not be brewing between John Morant and the Grizzlies, depending on who you ask.
Here is the timeline of events.
Came to a head on Halloween during the Grizzlies lost at home to the Lakers to open NBA Cup group play.
Luke can return from injury to drop 44, 12 boards and six times for those who missed it.
That was not the real story here.
So let's take a look at what went down.
Jai had his worst game of the season
finishing with eight points on three of 14 shooting
while going scoreless in the fourth quarter.
He did have seven assists in just one turnover, though.
But this video surfaced of Jock standing outside the huddle
twirling his towel during a timeout in the fourth quarter
during his post-game media availability,
Jai was asked about the game and had this response.
What went wrong to you today?
A glass of course to stop.
Do you feel like, I mean, it was anything you could do different, like this?
Regarach him.
They had a whole spill in him, so.
From the outside, and the outside may be wrong,
but from the outside, it didn't look like you had your usual energy tonight.
Oh, I have to go inside while.
Okay.
You feel like you should play more?
Oh, I should I play more or not.
What could have been done different to get a different outcome?
other than actually the coaching staff?
According to them, probably don't play me, honestly.
That's what basically the message was after.
It's cool.
The coaching staff message was there?
It's cool, man.
It was not cool.
So after the game, the Grizzies announced they were suspending jaw
for one game for conduct, detriment of the team,
stemming from a heated exchange between Morant
and first year head coach, Tomas Isalo,
who took over on an interim basis this past March
after the team fired Taylor Jenkins with nine games left in the season.
So according to Shams DeSallo challenged Morant's leadership and effort in a postgame exchange in front of the team,
to which Morant responded in tone deemed inappropriate and dismissive.
So after the suspension announcement, John went to IG, posted a photo of a fan holding a sign saying,
let's go gris Sunday before the Grizzies loss to the Raptors.
He returned Monday in the Grizzles' home loss to the Pistons,
finishing with 18 points 10 assists and five rebounds on 5 of 16 shooting,
and had this to say about the suspension.
and his relationship with the coaching staff and team.
You and the coaching staff I would talk about what happened Friday in the walk.
Y'all ask that question to them, huh?
What about for you?
Y'all asked that question, y'all no answer to that.
Do you feel like everything's been resolved?
Yeah.
They told you that, right?
Well, yeah, but we didn't hear from you.
Obviously, they can't go and tell y'all something, mind you say?
You feel like you get this same?
Joy right now, do we used to see anything?
No.
Why not?
Hmm.
What can be done to get it back?
We'll see.
Do you think you have a good relationship with the franchise?
Yeah.
Yeah. They told y'all that work.
I didn't say anything about that.
If I had a good relationship, I wouldn't talk to him at all.
So, you know, we've had our convos over these.
Do you have any regrets about the way you played on Friday night in the second hand?
second half. You said what? Do you have any regrets
by the way you played in the game?
That's your whole wrong question?
We're too.
It's not a big question.
God bless job, Morant.
So Morant was supportive of Taylor Jenkins, his only head coach
during most of his first six seasons in the league,
but was not rolling with the Grizzlies new
offense last season, which was implemented
by Assistant Noah La Roach, who was fired
with Jenkins and former assistant and now
head coach Isalo. Tension
had been brewing this season with the team off
to a shaky start while dealing with some injuries.
to their key rotational players.
Morant's numbers are down from his all-star-level seasons.
So far this year, he's average 20 points per game
is lowest in 2021,
shooting 39% from the field,
14% from 3 while playing 29 minutes per game,
which are all career lows.
So Jock tried to east the tension.
Tuesday, by posting on Instagram for the first time since August
with a carousel of Grizzly's images
with Rod Wave song,
Take the Blame as the soundtrack,
and it blew hard as the caption.
He also commented on the post twice
with a grisly's emoji
and hand-raised emoji
which I seem to think might signify
he's ready to take the blame
but question for the couch
which your reaction
to the grizzly suspended John Morant
and him saying he doesn't have the same joy
on the court right now
I'm sorry man
I was going I mean you spoke for like 12 minutes
I was like you had to give all the contacts
we ain't been on since Thursday
that's not my problem
Okay, but now you know.
You just update to where we are now.
I don't care about fucking what happened.
But to know where we are,
we not have to know where we came from.
My apologies.
Okay, I guess I started with him not being in the huddle.
I mean, at any points in that game didn't score in the fourth quarter.
No, no, no.
But everyone pointed out that he wasn't in the huddle.
He wasn't even in the game.
He appeared disengaged.
But he wasn't in the game to even been in the huddle.
So you guys were all playing the league.
Is that a big a deal with people are making it?
He wasn't in the game to be in the huddle.
to even care what they're talking about.
I mean, if you look at the video,
you can see KCP scratching his whole ass
talking to this woman right here.
You want to see it again?
We can watch it again, put it on.
Can we put the video on the time out?
He just scratching his ass talking to the lady.
Go ahead.
We see Jai on the right side.
There you go, look at him, look at it.
C.P. right there.
What's that, sweetheart, how are you doing?
I ain't shit going on.
Just out here just being old and shit,
just, yeah, you know what I mean?
You know what I mean?
You know, how he had put it around you.
Like a little booty hurt, you know, he's sitting on this bin very long, so no one cares.
I want to say a scratch more of a massage.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
He was in there.
Because he was probably, let me a sudden, he probably was on the bench too.
But, you know, at this point in time, they wasn't in the game.
And for the most part, if you're not in the game to see what play he's drawing up, most players, they're not.
So I don't look at that and say he's disengaged.
If you want to pick at it, then you can.
But just like I look, I've seen other players who wasn't a part of.
the plate, they wasn't engaged either.
Him getting suspended because they had a locker room dispute between each other and no one
else knew.
Yeah.
That kind of rubs, that can rub you the wrong way as a player because I didn't like what
you did.
You don't like what I did.
We're both going at it and then you overexceed this conversation, no matter what the tone is by
using your authority by suspending me yeah i mean i i never like i never like when authority figures
do that like if you if we're sitting here having a conversation we lost i'm mad so obviously
my temper is a little higher than yours would be as a coach so i'm going to say things that i shouldn't
be saying but to suspend me for you're going you're going to mentally lose me
But to challenge your effort and leadership in front of the entire team after the game.
What's wrong with that?
Yeah, that's wrong with that.
But the new coaches always do that.
Like, they always try to show, yeah, come in, and they feel like if I pick out the star,
the owners and everybody would respect me and shit.
But obviously, it's going the wrong way for me.
So coaches got to understand that, man.
You can lose players easy like that.
When people were out in front of the whole team, blame.
him for everything. He already, and why suspend him? He already, this job around.
I mean, if you're going to suspend him, you should say what we'll say it then.
Yeah, say what, that's the thing. I want to know what was said then if you're going to suspend them.
Probably a bunch of bees. Just, you know, you know how we get. Bees, but no B-A-Ns, just bees.
No, no, no, no, no.
When you get pointed out in front of your teammates and you don't want to hear it, yeah.
You've been in that situation.
I've been in that situation.
You know, they hired T-A-N-C-C-E.
Test Scott?
Yeah.
Oh, my God.
There ain't no telling what Josh said, because if he rocked with Taylor Jenkins the way you did.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Just, Lord knows what came about that young man's mouth in that moment.
But Jai got to understand, man.
He is held to a different standard because you are the star of that team.
You are the one that people look up to and should be the one that people look up to in their locker
Your behavior as of late hasn't said that you are that.
Just another situation, man, that's unfortunate for him.
I think it's run his course in Memphis with him.
I think they need to find a new home for him.
He's a hell of a talent still.
To your point, he said he lost his joy.
He don't have the same joy anymore.
That speaks volumes.
Then you suspend him.
him for one game
it's like
the fucking slap on the wrist shit
like that's like what is it for
like you ain't doing nothing
but pissing him off even more
like that that's not helping
the situation
people don't understand
like he already don't rock
with you and you're not helping the situation
I don't care what the conversation
y'all had privately
you suspended that man you took my so
it's not helping he's not help
he's not helping the situation by caring
the way he carried in the press conference
the team not helping the
situation by suspending him so both are at fault right so giant like you held to a different
standard in the press conference you got to be better because you are the star the team people look
at you as a superstar so you have to handle that better if you don't have any listen no comment
right now man it's not the now it's not the time right about to say that what's wrong with that
see you yeah that was just about to say like can you say like um yeah absolutely yeah like no more
comments like I'm not going to answer no more like can you say that no but still but that's
too it depends on who you are yeah but
Would he get fine for that, though?
No, no, I answered your question, but not right now, man.
It's like, it's not a good time.
All right.
Like, if they have a report with him, if there's a local and all that,
they should have that kind of, they should have their respect for the player
and because he's a superstar, right?
They should have that respect for him if he speaks on something.
You know what?
I give you that today, but you mind if we come back tomorrow, we'll talk about it.
It should go, but then you keep picking at it, picking that, picking that.
Now you get the smart ass answer.
Yeah, they gave him for sure.
So now he feel like you're trying to bait him.
Now you get the asshole meat even more, right?
So it's all, it's multi-layered and it's, so it's, he needs to get out of Memphis, man.
Yeah.
Because the media, they're not going to only going to keep picking at him.
They want another.
And it's.
They want a headline for sure.
Yeah, usually it's, they want their media.
Usually it's never your media that's in their pro.
It's always one.
That's always one.
It's always one.
You always got that one guy that, the local that's he, he want to be different.
He wants to be different.
He wanted to be national.
Love the bucks, but he'd hate them.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
He did that one player.
Works for the team, but he always point out the bad shit.
Like, he always, the turnovers, the not boxing, like, yeah, they had a good game, but.
Like, there's always him, but, yeah, now, Jai got to be bad in this situation, man.
For him moving forward, if it's not in Memphis, for him moving forward, right?
So, yeah, now, it's nasty work by the team.
What is he learning from a one-game suspension?
And also with everything they're trying to portray him with,
all the trouble and stuff that he's been, you know, had in the past.
It's just always something.
I know that's getting tuned, too.
If you care about the product, right?
Yeah, but if you care about the product and I'm here with y'all
and I'm your guy, like this is not, to your point, this is not helping my image.
Yeah.
Right.
But Jock got to hear him too, though.
He got to understand, yeah, Jock I understand too.
It's a chance for him to grow, for sure.
Yeah, but this is not, listen, this is not the age.
And he hasn't had the right vet.
To really
They ain't got no beds
We just heard y'all cussing at each other
Or whatever that is
And then they come in
I already know you heated
A real veteran
Will come in and stop it anyway
A real veteran stops that
No matter what
Because we just heard
What these two went through
Right? We just witnessed it's like
Oh shit oh
And then they come in here
And he's already still on level 10
He ain't got nothing good to say
a real veteran would diffuse that he's not right now unless let him let him take a shower first
let him think about it or in the morning or on the bus or wherever going that's what that veteran
will do unless they don't like the coach the vet don't like the coach or the team don't like
the coach still though the vet's going to protect their vet going to take care of the play yeah yeah
yeah that's this is our locker room this is sacred so I'm not going to let you come in here
and do this so if I see it we to your point absolutely for sure in the 7th season
Now, say, is he a vet?
Is he the vet now?
Is he the vet?
He got a police himself.
He's the vet.
He wasn't taught by no superstar.
Yeah, so he didn't have anybody when he came in.
But his back against the wall.
He always feels like his back against the wall.
He's never had no superstar vet.
They can pick for a reason.
Like, people think because, like, people think because you are the main guy
and you are the face and you're supposed to be mature.
What?
He's no different than any 20, 23, 24-year-old.
He's just on the spotlight with money, right?
Most of these kids should be college seniors at frat parties.
Drinking, having parties in phone.
Let me put a carrot in your ass.
That's that group.
What carrots in your ass?
You know, like, fresh shit.
Fresh shit.
Caucasian fresh shit.
You know, they didn't have you.
Yes, it's frat.
Caucasian frat.
Caucasian frat, not black frat.
Black frat.
You just think y'all just want to drink hennies he and shit.
Nobody put carrots.
Y'all just want to drink, that's frat white shit.
You just want to drink henny and smoke weed.
That's what black frat do.
No, no, no, don't expect.
The Sigma, ah, hey, who, who, who, ha, ha, that shit, you know,
get sweating, you know, I would rather get carrots in.
I would rather have none.
I left.
I was in an NBA.
I was already in a frat.
I was in a frat.
You know what I mean?
He was out there.
Yeah, I think he was going to catch on to that.
I knew you was.
But that's that group.
They have millions of dollars in their,
If no one, hundreds of millions of dollars, so if no one taught them how to be mature,
most of the NBA players, wherever your mindset was when you got there, that's where it is.
Because if I'm a 19-year-old and most of my team is married and they're older, they're not hanging with me.
They're not hanging with me.
They're not taking me nowhere.
So I'm only chilling with myself and whoever my friends are with.
And then when a young dude come on the team, that's my partner.
We're going to do everything together.
So I'm basically, every year, we're growing together, new young come, we're hanging with him.
So I'm 27, pretending I'm 19-20 still.
So John 26 right now, turn 26 in August.
And I guarantee if you say, hey, who you hang out with.
It's going to be a 21-year-old.
It ain't going to be no 35-year-old because he never had that.
What I'm saying, he's never had that group.
He's never been with that group.
So when he was 19, and that's a 16-year-old, he never hung out with that group.
Just like, can you look up, uh, uh, uh, job and rents?
rookie team, because I want to know what he had on the team.
I think the first real vet he had was Derek Rose.
Had Marcus Mark for a little bit as well.
You know, the only person he could connect with would have been there was last year.
That was one year.
That was already.
It's too fucking late then.
But why do you think he can only, like, connect with Derek Rose because of a game?
But like, but some bet's just, you're a superstar.
Yeah, but I know what you go through.
I know how you move.
So as a young player, I'm watching more than I'm listening.
So if I'm seeing you how you dress, like, like with, like with, like, if you had Kenyon on the team and Kenyon came just like this and we weren't this bullshit, right?
We would start looking at the clothes.
We would start, hey, man, where you get, where you get that suit for?
Who's your dresser?
Nah.
You know what I mean?
That's how you're moving.
So that's a sign of a good vet?
What?
Like, like, but like what makes you a good vet?
Because, I mean, guiding us through the, I mean, I mean, because just because him and Derros had the same game, like it could be a different vet that.
where he can connect with us.
Because, like, I mean, me and Kurt Thomas,
we didn't have the same game,
but we connected a lot.
What did he teach you?
But Curtis's a vet.
So, and Kurt is a vocal,
I don't see Derek Rose being vocal.
So I'm going to look at it.
But I'm going to look at it.
But I'm saying, the different vet,
the different vet is teaching you different things.
Yeah, right.
Right.
Right. So Derek Rose would teach him how to move like a superstar, right?
So if I'm watching Derek Rose
and how he moves in the club,
I'm going to look at his behavior because he is where I was.
So he's not.
not drinking in the club. I'm like, yo, wait, why you
don't drink? He's going to be like, all these people
look at me. These people look at me.
I hear you, some will.
If you're observing and you
want to be better, it's like me, my rookie year.
I'm looking at fucking Johnny Newman
and certain guy John Newman got a fucking briefcase.
He's always on the phone. He's doing business. He's with
his wife. He's doing this. And I'm like,
hey, that's way.
That's one way to do it.
We didn't have in that briefcase.
Businesses with papers,
whatever, computer papers, whatever it was.
He had it with him all the time.
And he was always doing something, right?
Other vets I've seen on the team.
It was always busy, or they're always on the phone talking, always doing it.
So I'm like, yeah, but then I go hang out with Jack.
I'm learning this part of it, but then at night, I'm going out with my age.
So, but I'm learning because I'm watching.
I'm watching, right, do's, don'ts, how to dress, how to come in, how to these things.
Of course, I'm going to do all those things, but I'm still at the time, I was still only 22.
So I couldn't, me at the late 30s.
So there's nothing we had in common, but I learned a lot.
Then you're hanging out with Jay Kid, right?
I'm around Jay Kid.
He was married at the time, wife, kids, that, and the third, I'm seeing that.
So I'm getting all parts of it, but it's just what you choose to take from each person, right?
Good to bad, then different.
You know what?
That motherfucker, wild, this shit, I ain't gonna do that, but I like, I like his car.
I like his car.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's always something.
So where did you get the clothing, like the dress better?
Like Jay Newnham, like Johnny Newman, like Sherman, all of them do is my rookie year?
Like they was always on point.
And then Dave Stern then made us, made us.
But like, but then you're seeing them guys, they always came to the games always dress, right?
I'm seeing it.
I'm like, each year, like you're seeing certain guys that was always that,
that always put it on each year.
It was always somebody on my team, like DeKinebe, right?
Kimbe came, Dick always had on the suit.
Like, you see that shit.
Alonzo morning when he came, always dressed to the nines.
You see the, so I'm like, all right, that's,
that's how you move.
That's how you move.
But then I'm still me at the same time.
I'm still going to put my on it.
I'm still going to behave the way I was behaving.
Of course, I didn't learn shit in that regard.
Yeah, yeah, no.
I'm saying?
But, yeah, so he's just like, you have to be observing to your teammates,
the good things that they're doing and the bad things,
and you take what fits you.
Job bidding in some shit.
for the last three years.
Yeah, he ain't learning shit.
That's what I'm saying.
But you gotta have it.
So that's a, dad's like, come on, son.
That has nothing to do with him.
My dad ain't in the locker room with him.
But his dad tell, he could tell him,
who's daddy?
Are you fucking serious?
You see the way that.
Did you see what that nigga was for Halloween?
Well, that's what I'm saying.
That nigga was his son for Halloween.
Are you fucking shit?
But you should have older people telling you shit.
It ain't.
I had my life, like, my dad.
You want to go out every night.
Did I hear that in the back of my head,
damn, I had him.
Like, it ain't him.
Yeah, I'm telling you the truth.
You might don't want to listen to your dad or your brother or somebody,
but you'll hear that voice in the back of your head.
You think that's a thing.
And growing up, man, you know not to do certain shit.
I can act like the motherfucker and retarding.
In this situation, do you think that's a thing?
What a thing.
What you just said?
His dad.
Do you, in this situation, normally I hear you, yeah.
KJ, yeah, back is mine.
You don't want to listen to him for, yeah.
But that's the thing in my, do you think in my,
Now, do you think in this situation with Jai and T, that's the, that's the thing?
No, I can answer that for you.
Absolutely not.
No, but me, I feel like he gave him too much, too much grace.
No, what I'm saying is you keep saying, but I don't remember your daddy our first two years.
I don't remember you, but calling me telling me to get a thousand shots of everything.
I don't know.
And making me drive with your ass.
No, what I'm saying is when we was going to the clubs and I was doing.
God damn.
When I, no, no, you see the nigga about the show.
When I say, hey, yeah, yeah, I got $10,000 for 10 shots and you can't go to see.
I didn't say you say, not Charles said, I couldn't do this.
I know, yeah, let's do it.
Yeah, I'd be raised with no one right for all for me.
But, dude, what did Charles said?
What did Charles said?
No, I'm just saying, what did Charles say?
You're out there drinking your ass over and having fun with me.
Huh?
You was doing exactly what I was telling your ass with you.
I was drinking this shit all the time.
No, I wasn't drinking.
I didn't drink, but $10,000 got you to drink.
Oh, yeah, young for sure.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
You don't do anything for money.
I know I wasn't playing like that.
But that's what I'm saying.
But that's why I took responsibility of when y'all were not,
when I had the young boys on the team, but I was hurt,
I didn't act like what they should have been seeing.
That wasn't coming in three times a day, shooting, doing all that.
Nah, it was, you never hung up.
Gil never party so I'm partying
who want to come to the club I'm buying everything
that's all they knew
they didn't know hey man
he's about to start a thousand shots a day
wait hold on man you just said you got to party
you did that you did that too
yeah a little bit
you did that too yeah but it's
especially when I was on the Lakers
yeah when he was on the Lakers yeah
well like we've been saying this
well I know I have for the last couple years
about Jai and his relationship with T
right that T has to be better
T has to be a better role model
better leader for that young man he got to show him
You got to tell him, get him, got to pull his coat tail.
You got to, it's not a one-time thing.
It's not a, it has to be a constant thing.
Like, a young man, you're fucking up now.
You're doing it.
You got to be blatantly honest with him.
But I think that, that line was a long time ago.
No, yeah, no, that, but you want to have a great relationship with your son, absolutely.
But you want a healthy fear that way, right?
Like, you want a healthy fear to where he, to your point you're making.
It's that subconscious thought, right, always like, uh, maybe I, yeah, yeah, this nigger crazy, right?
Like, it's, it's that, right?
I shouldn't go, uh, it's, right?
But it's not that.
I'm saying, but it's not that.
Hold your hands up for 30 minutes.
Like, this man, like, Gil Day had him in a deepening thing.
But y'all don't think that he's had those talks with John at all?
No, I don't know.
Like, after that interview, you say, what, like, like, like, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm
if he did what what is he going to tell what is he going to tell him like no i know he can't tell me
whatever you want to tell me i think it was it should have happened like before now because once
you become him like you know what i said like he's been i yeah yeah you know like you can
feel like you pick i'll pay your bills at this point like yeah but you think he's talking to
He probably ain't talking to him like that, but he's thinking it.
I never talked to my dad like that.
You growled.
Your relationship with your problem before you got drafted was, right?
Strong.
I'm not saying this wasn't that, right?
But it was certain things that you looked at your father as.
And when you got money, I watched from before,
but I didn't see your dad forefront, the loudest one in the room,
the this, the dad, like,
So now it's, it becomes more like his homeboy.
Okay.
Rather than his father because now our relationship is not father's son.
From what I've seen in public and been around, it's not a father's son thing.
It's more of a homeboy thing.
So he might don't say it to him, but that thought is.
He ain't got no relatives, no brothers.
I'm just saying, you know all that shit, keep in it.
I don't know these facts.
Yeah, yeah, no, no, no.
But normal thinking is,
I'm paying your business, nigga.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I bought that car.
Like, you ain't, you ain't, I made it.
So why would I listen?
You're going to say that to that line right now?
But that's, I don't act like he don't talk to that.
Like, me, all right?
You want to play video games all day?
You don't say that shit?
First girl, play video games all day.
You ain't going to be shit.
You don't say that?
But he plays video games all day, so.
You can't do that.
Now he did.
I can't back that up.
Right.
No, I hear you.
That's my thing.
I hear you.
Yep.
So what I was saying.
So after the first incident, if they did have, the first gun incident, they had a conversation, right?
Nigger, you're fucking up.
Like, nigga, you know better.
You do, do you think he'd do it again?
No, I don't think that.
If there's that fear of anything, he don't do it the first time.
Damn show don't do it the second.
And y'all say fear.
That shit, I was, I was scared when I lived with you.
No, there's a fear still, Gil.
Nigger, I can hang up on you.
And I'm going to pull up on you.
And then I can have my bodyguard keep you away from me.
Like, y'all acting like this is.
I think I got $200 million.
Yeah.
Do you think, like, do you think your security,
whoever your person is can tell your dad?
Like, do you really think that?
Do you really think that?
Yeah, you're seeing this as strong-ass, right?
You better know how to fight.
Yeah.
Be watching out the window.
Because I'm going to see it.
Yeah.
Like, woo, you got through them.
I mean, I'm like, I mean, you're cousin for no reason.
Hey, pops, hey, I see I was a rough one down in.
Yeah, I ain't know you was coming over.
My dad.
My dad.
My dad.
My dad.
Let's advance this conversation.
A healthy fear, right?
Yeah, no.
You know what I mean.
A healthy fear.
Like, it's that, right?
that right you you don't want to disappoint him you don't want to like those things right so
well let's advance this conversation so we asked the chat we asked the chat do you have a problem
with how josh carrying himself it is 50 50 split in the chat but let's get into
let's get into the real reason for job's frustration so grisies were six in offensive rating last
season 11th in defensive rating but so far this season there are 25th in offensive rating
and net rating.
So Jao voiced his frustrations
with Isalo's offense last season
and still has issue with it now
that has been fully implemented.
The offense prioritizes pace
and high intensity
with heavy sub patterns
and players getting shorter
three to four minute bursts on the court
to maximize impact
and minimize risk.
Also less pick and rolls
which Josh is a fan of.
I'm just telling you what I'm listening.
And you've got to think
that the organization
firing Taylor Jenkins,
Jod didn't have a hand
in picking the successor.
Essentially the team is basically
saying this is his show now joe so fall in line or get on with it so oh ass suspended and everything
so is this just a bump in the road adjusted to a new head coach or are we looking at a much bigger
issue one guy so he was he was on the staff of taylor jackins correct he was brought in i believe
last season but he was on the gym but he was on the staff he was on that staff for a year
to implement half a season to implement this offense right so he had a lot of success of the head coach in
In Europe, I believe.
In Europe.
Yeah, won the Euro Cup, won the French Cup.
In Europe.
With Paris Basket.
Won the French Cup, huh?
We wait.
When the assistant coaches are over there, right?
And head coaches are allowing certain things.
Assistant coaches have this thing where shit, I don't know that shit.
If it was my team.
That's what I was saying.
You ain't going to be doing that shit.
It was my team.
I ain't going to put up with that.
I ain't going to do this, but then you get the job.
Now you got to do it.
And he, yeah.
So you say he was handpicked by the gym?
Big by the gym.
It seems like this move, obviously.
Blindsided the Grizzlies.
Nine games left in the season last March when Isalo was named interim coach.
Obviously got the job a few months later.
That's crazy.
We're just crazy in itself.
Instead, we're running this offense, sir.
How's that working for him?
How's that working for him?
Like I said, 25th in offense, the rating.
Have a lot of injuries, too, to the roster right now.
So that's some contact.
slowly just moving on, they don't trust them no more.
So they just,
you know, they're going to roll with it.
Yeah, you bring somebody.
I mean, if he don't have a, if he don't have a say-so on who's coming in as a head coach,
I mean, that's just telling you right there.
You see, the problem is that team as players, who's day leader on that court?
Him.
So at least out of the 15, nine of them is with Superman.
Only probably option three is thinking by himself.
But the rest of them, that's the guy.
So if the guy's not happy,
anybody's stats has moved up or everybody's stats is down.
See, our stats look good when the offense is going through him.
See, if you want to do this little circle offense
and everybody else stats is going down, we're on his side.
25th and offensive red
The star player don't have a say-so
And with these new sub-patteres
So John, Jaron Jackson on the court
Their fewest amount of minutes
And their time together
So John Jaron Jackson
Only on the court of both the stars
Only on the court about 15 minutes
Per game together
Which is down significantly
Yeah, that's fucking crazy
I'm just telling you, you know
That's wild
Why don't you just fire the coach?
He came out some math
He came out with some math
That just is not mapping?
Why didn't they just fire the coach before you run in the assistant coach
and then fired them two months later, three months later?
Probably want to get it to feel for the system.
As a coach, how do you feel like that, though, a head coach?
And the gym bring in the assistant coach.
You know he's about to take your spot.
You don't know it, but you know it.
You don't care.
I mean, shit.
You don't know it, but you know.
He didn't think it was going to be right.
Yeah.
You don't know.
But he had a question mark.
You start running his offense while he's the head coach.
You got to run your.
assistant coach offense doing that's fucked up
I mean all those assistant coaches
want to be head coaches a lot of them do so
they always got plotted on by Euro
this time it's for Jai to move around man
different situation to someone who's going
so that brings my next question
Kenyon so Jah has this season two more
years left on this deal those next two years are worth
$89 million which teams around the league do you think would be a good
fit for Jai if he were to request
or trade before the deadline
there's no request don't have that answer
The niggas out of there.
Yeah.
I don't get fucking what they're talking about unless they're going to fire that coach and say they fucked up.
Yeah.
Jod doesn't want no parts of it.
It might be one of them situations.
This unfortunate, I hope not.
You can get some shit for one though.
But...
You can get a lot for job, though.
No, you ain't go get shit for jobs.
According to reports, trademark it, uh...
You ain't go get shit for job.
It might be one of these John Wall situations, unfortunately.
What?
you to stay away no no too young 26 I don't care bro no this is a different NBA this is a
different NBA send him to my yes I want him to play this absolutely I like watching
him play yes absolutely the excitement of the game yes but I'm just the current state of the NBA
no one cares about what Memphis has going on yeah what I know is he don't want to be here
so I'm not giving you shit for him so what do y'all want y'all I'm not going to give you a super
I don't need you because you don't you don't want you don't want you don't
This is not your guy.
But you need a Euro player.
I got a couple of year roles here that I can throw to you and y'all can
throw to you and y'all can run your little circus over there.
But if I know he doesn't want to be there, I know I don't have to give you the moon for him.
So everybody's sitting here, everybody's sitting there like, I agree with you.
What you, what y'all think you're going to take?
What you, which?
Can we throw some first rounders in it?
Can we throw some second rounds in that?
I know.
I heard Miami.
Already got four unprotected first from the magic in that trade.
What about Dallas?
What about Dallas?
What?
Dallas?
For what?
Teams like Houston, Sacramento have been mentioned as potential options.
For what?
For what?
For what?
Maybe you do Atlanta, Tray Young and their entire hero.
Who?
Who?
Who?
It's not good basketball, Gil.
Houston, how?
How are they going to do it?
All of them, all them bench players they got.
They can't do it.
They can't do it.
You can't do him and Tray Young for a title of hero and send them to Miami.
I know he can go to Miami.
He can go to Boston right now, play the point.
right now play the point right he can go to uh brooklyn if you want to put him in brooklyn
you can't do that you can put him he come to Milwaukee he come to Milwaukee it's late
Jason Tatum coming back like it said you got to think about Ryan Rawley y'allis y'all got you
got to think about kp.j further than just right now even if you come back they still need a
point that can just like move the tempo but 12 though he don't pass the ball
training for the club ball dominant guy now with Jason
can't beat? Huh? No, Jayton. You can't be that person.
Tadens? Yeah. Man, try all these old niggas from clippers.
Just, all these old niggas are the clippers. The way Jai plays the game where, because you have to tailor your,
for Jai, you got to tailor your offense around. Clippers. No. But you got to tailor your
your offense around, Jai. He need this. He'd be too tough for him, man. You don't think so good?
He had needed for the strictness, but he was being in Miami. Johnny.
He ain't taking the 20, 25, 26 shots like that.
He just wants to pick and roll so he can manipulate the, you know what I mean?
It's kind of, it's like a not as aggressive as like a CP3,
but he wants to come downhill.
If he can get him, if not, he'll pass a ride.
So you can put him with, you can put him with a giddy.
The gil, we're going to talk about him later.
You can put him with a giddy.
You can put him with a player like that.
I can see something of that nature.
But Memphis, it's over.
Yeah.
It's definitely.
Yeah.
Like, y'all, I'm sorry.
Sell the team, too.
No, I think.
No, I think in the next two years,
that owner, after John leaves, he going to have to sell.
You got to go to, yeah.
Because the value's going down.
Yeah.
Because I don't know if he knows that cities like you don't actually get mega star,
he's a mega star name.
That means in his first three years, him himself,
So more jerseys than all the players, all the superstars y'all had combined.
When y'all was winning games and y'all was winning in the playoff series, seven TV games, him losing 15, 16, 17.
Him losing because of his play and his superstardom got you guys TV games because the public wants to see his play.
Right?
So when you lose him, your ticket sales go down.
your jersey sales go down, and you're not going to be able to replace it.
Because there's not a lot of mega names out there.
Unless you get a Zion or a Curry or, you know, Cooper Flag or Wendy to replace them,
your value of that team is going to go down and it's going to be down for a while
until you can probably hit the lottery again.
So you don't lost, you lost your money value for your team.
You trade the value.
You probably get the number one of me.
You're cool.
Hey, Jay.
That's cool
You gotta be a mega name
You know where he goes
You need you need
Like they need names
Just like just like Charlotte
We don't know nothing about Charlotte
We just know Lamello
Amelho doing this thing
Lamello doing this
Mello shoes selling
Lamello like we know
La Mello
We don't know the rest of that team
Right we don't care about the rest of that team
We know Lamello Ball
Mega Star
When Memphis is winning
When he leaves
Nobody gonna talk about Charlotte
ever again, until they get another name that big.
But Memphis wins, though.
Charlotte never win.
When Memphis winning, the NBA is good.
Like, I'm serious with Golden State versus Memphis and Lakers.
They lost.
Yeah, they lost.
It's good for the NBA, though.
They tried hard.
You never see Charlotte in the goddamn playoffs and nothing, though.
That's fair.
Well, let's keep this thing move.
We will monitor the situation and update you as more news comes down.
But today's show is sponsored by Rough Greens.
Sometimes in life, if you want to get to the truth, you've got to look at the
numbers. Unfortunately, 50% of all dogs over 10 years old will die of cancer, and the other 40 to
50% will suffer miserably from skin issues or joint problems, and this is widely attributed to
your dog's diet. These numbers are what inspired Dr. Dennis Black to create rough greens.
So here's the good news. With thousands of testimonials and five-star reviews every month,
Rough Greens is now the number one all-natural dog supplement in America. They've helped millions
of pups, stay active, and be healthy, and your pup can be next. You don't have to change your

So let's shift over.
Memphis, Becky.
Let's head to the West.
No, hey, man.
No, man.
One job.
I mean, the life of a dog ain't cracked up with all.
Man, is there something?
No, you said 50% die of what?
40.50%.
No, you said 50% of cancer.
Yeah.
And then the other 50%...
Over 10 years old.
And then the other 50%...
Suffer.
Suffer from skin issues or joint...
Much like humans.
Skin issues, joint problems.
But that's why Rough Greens is here.
Dr. Dennis Black.
They're just hitting with the rough greens, Gil.
Hey, man, put a little rough greens in your cup.
You know, I wouldn't suggest it for humans, but...
So in my next life, I don't want to be a dog.
I can care of that.
You are a dog.
A dog.
A dog.
A dog is going to have a dog.
Oh, well, let's shift over, head out to L.A.
I can see why.
Our hometown, home of the World Series champion Los Angeles Dollar Dodgers.
Hey, I see this, baby.
Dun, dun, dun.
Yeah, go.
Yeah, we're the smoke.
That one.
We're to smoke for the Dodgers.
Shout out, K.
Pahas, Freddie, Mookie, Yamamoto.
And I like that.
They all like that.
The best city in the work.
Andy Pahead.
Hey, for the last five years, Los Angeles has been dominating.
What?
In championships.
We won a championship in one of our sports every year, from 2000 to 2025.
West Side is the best side.
They are not like us.
For real, yeah, not like us.
Let's talk about the Lakers.
So despite being without LeBron, so far this season, Luca, missing time with injury.
Lakers are off to a hot start winning four straight games, six of the last seven.
Luke was back on the court Friday for their win in the NBA Cup opener and Sunday in a home win against the heat.
But the purple and gold opted to injury manage both Luca and Austin Reeves Monday in the second night of a back-to-back
in their second meeting against the Blazers in a week.
So let's take a look at some of that action without some of their exciting whites.
The Lakers got revenge for their loss at home back on October 27th and snapped the Blazers three-game winning streak.
DeAndre Aden had his best game of this season in his first trip back to Portland since being bought out by the Blazers,
finishing with a season high 29 points along with 10.
10 rebounds and three blocks going 14 for 19 from the field.
Rui Hachimura added 28 points on 10 to 16 shooting.
Nick Smith, Jr., put the team on his back in the second half,
scoring 17 of his 25 points in the final two-quarter.
Smith currently on a two-way contract
but making the most of his time playing with the varsity squad.
And Brony James had his best game of the season,
finishing with five points, a career high tying six assists
and no turnovers in 19 minutes of action.
He's in the rotation, ladies and gentlemen.
Back-to-back rooms with Bronny in there
Say whatever y'all want, we can smirk snicker
Giggle do whatever we want to do
Where Bronny is here
So the Lakers are the first team of NBA history
To have six different players
Score 25 plus points
Over a two-game span
Look at this, you know
This is a different feeling
I'm just going to be honest
This is a different feeling
Because this squad last season
We got a knack by 20
Yeah, right?
I don't even know why he's on the two-way
Yeah, well
On that two-in-in-in-a-old
Junior.
He looks like he's from him out.
Yeah.
25?
Yeah.
Five.
Cooking 17 in the second half, heavy clutchman.
Bronte hit a huge three in the fourth quarter to help propel the legors of victory.
But Gil, how impressed are you?
Impressed.
You don't even got to ask me.
Like, I don't even know why you're asking me.
Like, what is the point about it.
How impressed are you with my hosting skills?
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Like, I don't.
We're six and two.
Six and two.
We are.
So what are you asking me?
We were supposed to be 0 and 6.
We were supposed to be 1 in 6, 1 in 9.
We're 6 until we have more wins than everybody gave us at this point in time.
We can lose the next 5.
We still got more wins than everybody said we was going to have.
All right?
So you don't got to ask me nothing.
Next?
All I heard is championship again.
2000 championship, right?
2000 championship, right?
2023 championship.
And then 2026, every three years, we win a championship.
2023 championship.
You forgot already?
Finseason tournament, good.
Thank you.
God is good.
Thank you.
The first inaugural, the hardest in season tournament championship at that point.
But then I just tell you we win a championship every year in L.A.
Banner.
It is a banner in Staples.
Then we get a trophy.
Then we pop champagne.
Yep.
Popped it.
Pop it.
In Vegas, too.
Was it in Vegas.
So let's shift over to Swaggy, former Laker.
How impressed you with the Lakers supporting cast?
Oh man, I'm so happy with the NBA corner niggas is taking over.
It is a corner nigger revival.
Oh my god, you see this?
Do you see how important we became?
Nick Smith, Jr., punt, 25, off the bitch.
Just throw him in the game, 25.
What, what?
He's not a corner, though.
What is he?
He's a point guard.
You give him the ball.
He's going to score.
He's a, yeah, yeah, he's one of those.
He averaged 10 last year in Charlotte.
He gets in a bucket.
Yeah, he gets a bucket.
Yeah, he's in the corner.
That's not where he's, he's a point guard.
He's a 6-2 point guard.
When Luca gets in, he gets his ass to the corner.
Well, unfortunately, he won't be playing with Luca.
It don't matter.
It doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter.
He asked me the question.
Okay, you're right.
But I just want you to know he's not.
He's not...
You didn't interrupt me.
He doesn't sit in the corner though.
He's very aggressive.
He's very aggressive.
He's like bone highlands and stuff like that here.
No, that's not a corner.
Yeah.
I'm not a corner.
Yo, the NBA is impressive, man, how they can treat guys, right?
You got this kid on the two-way so you can pay him G-League money and he'll come to the NBA and score 25 points when you need it.
Like, that shit wild, dog.
What?
Like, that shit is wild to me.
You can pay him.
him two-way contract money so you don't have to pay him NBA money and he's
playing he come in and does the production like this but got to go back and make this
40,000 like that shit is crazy yeah like wow yeah well to make it 636,000 dollars
well because he's in the two-way I'm the same with other guys yeah I get it
additional somebody else got to come up their bread on yeah yeah of course for that right
yeah so what you're just for him Nick Smith
third year that goes away next year so but yeah i didn't ever seen last so he was in charlotte right
but you signed him to a two-way so you don't have to pay him NBA money so 600 000 40,000
whatever it is it ain't the NBA standard contract play 60 games with the hornets last season
started 27 average 10 points a game and two rebounds to assist and that's and that earned you a two-way
two-way too way right that earns you a two-way contract
Mr. Bue, how are you feeling about your hometown Lakers?
No, I like the way they've been playing, man.
You guys have, they've been playing really good.
You guys, us.
We got, LA.
LA, I mean.
He's not with us, ain't done with them.
You know, you guys have like.
You guys have like six, six guys that can, that's from like 10 to 15 points.
The chemistry as well, they're fighting.
Aidan's playing, he's almost averaging a double double.
So, I mean, you know, with LeBron being out and some of the guys being out at times,
Just to have the start is impressive, so, you know, especially being in the West.
So you guys are doing playing really well.
Aidan was back in Portland, was able to make it to the game.
Yeah.
What do you do to them?
No weather issue.
What do you do to them?
29.
What do you do to them?
What do you do to them?
Why do you think they set out?
They wanted him to do what he wanted to do against them.
No, y'all got a good flow right now.
For real, they're playing with it.
It feels good.
It feels good to be a Los Angeles.
I'm not going to lie.
All this resting shit when I was talking.
He had confidence in the bench, everybody.
Yeah.
Like I said, Leger's of the first team in the NBA history
to have six different players
scored 25 plus points over two games.
Why y'all wanted to play so much?
Like, y'all wanted to play so much.
Like, I would have loved to be playing.
Y'all resting this shit, and I get to just shoot.
What was that shit that back in the day?
I had to pass it to this motherfucker
because he wanted to play every day.
Get on my goddamn down.
We had this.
Nick Smith, Jr., get all the time, get to shoot.
Austin Reeves.
get the fucking rest.
Austin Reed get a rest day.
That's when you deal with it.
A minor groin injury.
Austin Reeves get a rest day, bro.
There's some good chemistry going on.
Y'all understand.
Some good energy.
Mark is smart also playing solid.
You're doing a lot.
You need to.
What?
No, not at all, but I'm just saying.
Mark Smart are pro.
Marcus Smart going to play well if he give minutes
and then Mark Smart is going to play basketball, man.
Bringing veteran leadership in that energy.
predicated on scoring, man.
Morgan Smart, going to play hard, going to defend.
Just having them out there, though, I'm saying.
Just having him out there.
Seeing him grab guys and talk to him and being a leader on that.
You need that.
You need that.
That's not.
That's not.
I get what you see.
You get rest days, bro.
That's going to be out there running through.
I did.
There was a year.
I played 46 minutes.
I'm pretty sure.
Steve Blake was like.
Fuck.
Where the rest days.
I only got two.
I only got two for you a year, man.
Right before we go to the West Coast trip, I missed that game.
Coach's like, yeah, he'll miss this game.
There's one game before we go to the West.
There you go.
You get to play all those minutes.
Depends on who you're playing.
All right.
Nah, he was always, Eddie was like, yeah, you miss this game and then we're going west.
Oh, I thought it depends on who you was.
I'm talking to you, like, no, it depends on we're playing.
Absolutely, you're like, no.
We play Detroit Pinsers or, or the Jersey Nets?
Yeah, I missed that.
They're going to fuck my scoring average, yep.
I'm good.
Nah, they played too much defense.
They did.
They played too hard.
God damn.
Jay kid, get him.
Kid, oh, nah.
Get him, Kerry.
Yeah, yeah.
Put carry on, get him, carry.
Bobcats.
I'm not, because I play this one.
There's a better out there.
Get him my average.
This one.
This one I can score 40.
Yeah, relax.
Livy Hunter.
What?
I saw him take the ball from Jake in the back court.
I'm like, oh, he's good.
No, bro.
Yeah.
He took the ball from the kid.
No, hey, I was like,
I was like, oh, yeah, he can defend.
Does he Hunter play hard?
He got a full court.
He picked your kid up.
I'm like, oh, he ain't scared that man to go by him?
So, Lakers roster, supporting cats,
building up a lot of confidence now.
Obviously, Luke was down for a couple games
with the finger and leg contusion.
Reeves missed some action.
He got back tonight, too.
LeBron.
Reeves?
Yeah.
Why?
So, Luke.
You know he has it just 41, right?
Wimby's in town.
41.
He did have an off night.
41.
He did have an off night.
That's look crazy on the stage.
41, you know what I mean?
That looks crazy.
How many games?
41, 12, and 8?
We've, uh, what's crazy.
Look, he, he's 4 games, 5 game, whatever it is.
It's a small synthesizer, but they're just going so much.
They don't even want to put him with the rest of the games.
When he was at 3 games, he was at 3 games, he was having 45.
I said, that shit looks crazy.
Mm-hmm.
Four games?
Yeah.
It's just still crazy.
It's still crazy.
It's put 40 up.
Number six a dip against the heat on Sunday.
He only had 29, 11, and 10.
No, they're going to do that to keep.
He's going to beat 35 on the year.
They're going to keep that at 40 to 38, 38.
Off night.
All right.
You can sit out next game.
You can sit out next game.
He can come back.
34, 35.
Let Austin Reeves sit out.
Reeves ducking the spur.
That's what they're going to do.
How he plays, it's so easy, man.
They're going to be sitting it.
Like, if you just look at him play, this game here is too easy for him.
And now they're calling that shit.
When you shoot, they call in that shit, now they're just,
Yeah, you on the internet quick, so Reeve just got downgraded to out with the growing issue.
Yeah.
I got...
I got inside information, I just don't use it for...
I just don't use it for that, man.
That's the year's trouble right there.
Hopefully you keep it to yourself nowadays.
That's serious trouble right there.
He had 41 and can't dunk.
Remember he dunked?
They was all chill.
He was...
That's a great game.
That's straight game.
Understand the spacing.
Cool.
Slow roasting them on.
These kids are...
These kids are early master of a craft.
When you can do the other shit, that shit overrated.
Yeah, they're way more crafter.
I think this the craft is a, no, yeah, like that.
He dunked on a fast break, it looked so big.
We're all wearing wires right now.
It's just like little things that he does.
It's like little manipulations of a game where he's facing points.
As soon as you do one of those, he goes up on your arms.
It's just like, man.
Like bird.
It ain't fast.
It ain't fast.
He moved to his own pace.
Just like Larry Bird.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
It slowed all the way down.
So yeah.
Looking at this Laker squad, obviously, we got the big three.
Luke, LeBron and Reeves.
LeBron, you have to play a game this season.
We'll see how he acclimates as the team when he comes back in November.
But other than those three, outside of that big three,
who is the most important player on this team in your opinion right now?
Yeah.
What do you like to know?
I like the note.
Faded to the mic.
Abba, could that book.
Right now, I think everybody's fighting for the fourth option.
You have...
It's only one option.
Yeah, I mean, you're right.
You know who it is.
Stop it.
In order to be anything, he has to play...
Yes.
Andre Aton has to play like he...
Like, he played against Portland.
Like, he played against Portland.
He needs to have that kind of motivation regularly.
But really, you need to knock down himself like he been doing.
And two, though.
A lot of guys on that roster who don't want to get traded right now.
Yeah, he's knocking down shots, bro.
If him and Rui can, together, what do you say, about 30?
30 and 15?
Yeah, because he needs to average.
30 and 15 between the two of them, we're good.
He needs to average 11, 12 rebounds.
Let's fuck stop.
Which one?
Big fellow?
Yeah, the fucking seven.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, the one who plays close to the basket.
Yeah.
The big guy.
Almost a double double.
We need to average, no.
11, 12.
Okay, okay.
Rui, 30, 30?
Luca can't average more rebounds than him.
LeBron can't average the same amount of rebounds.
So 17 and 8 right now to start.
So that eight can't.
Three motherfuckers trying hard to get rebounds.
17.
17.
I'm cool with the 17.
I'm cool with the 17.
I need you to get on the glass big fella.
I need to cut more offense to rebounds.
I need you to get active.
I need you to get the team ex possessions.
I need you to get some of them Tyson.
Some of them Tyson challenge chip out.
17, 12.
Yeah, 17 and 12, you are.
I'm with you, kid.
But, hey, but Rudy's shooting 45% for that three-point line now.
Who?
Almost 50.
Rui.
Rui, what do you mean?
A Japanese homie.
I think, listen,
I think once, you know, if Rui can dial in his shot making and his decision-making,
it's his decision-making sometimes.
Just knowing it hit the open shot, knowing what your mid-range is.
Like the little ducking, little, little, you know, your personal.
Yeah, the little duck-ins.
Like, just remember, this ain't, this ain't Japan.
Just athletic people here, you got to catch it shooting, catch it one group will pull up, catch it, pass it.
Yeah.
He's like, drive.
He's like, spin, I don't want you to have spayed away.
Come on, man, all right.
He'd be doing what OG be doing some time.
You're all right.
You out there by the, if you out there with Al Ron, Luca, and all you, do that shit.
We want to see it.
We want to see that 20.
You out there with the mother for, we need you to catch it and shoot it.
Jake from Allstate is going to be nice to you.
Jake from Allstate, Jake from Allstate.
Jake LaRavia, who was number 12.
Jay from Austin.
What you're doing too much?
Slow down.
Jack the Robbie been there's always one out there, right?
Because if Roy ain't doing it, to y'all point, Jake going to do it.
Jake, yeah.
Jake makes shots.
So, Jake going to catch and shoot it.
And he got a little bop to him too.
He does.
He says it's always one out there.
There's always one on the team that you're doing too much.
Yeah.
Yeah, we were just saying the dude from Houston.
Sorry.
Sorry.
Jake from Austin.
Every time he can get on the court, it's like he's doing it.
just like he doing no no what i mean look you we had javel oh my god oh yeah he'll get a nice
little block he'd go coast to coast then he'd jump from three point line yeah free the line
yeah free the line why somebody taking a car you just got everybody you just got everybody
stuffed out through it at the backboard he couldn't reach the jump from the frithal line just
threw at the backboard i said wait and then all y'all got something somebody was taking a charge
so i thought i could clear how y'all get there you're all encouraging this
We used this together.
Yeah.
I knew it was over.
I didn't help him up.
I walked by him.
I'm not, man.
I was mad as fuck walking to that bench.
Should I beat him later.
No, you shouldn't have.
No, for real.
He should have looked, yeah.
He was on the ground.
He had his hand out.
Man.
I'm running hard down that side.
I'm running hard.
I'm like, okay, I'm going to get an easy lift.
That motherfucker took off.
Well, yeah.
Oh, we're seeing it.
Yeah.
Need the shit I'll do, though.
I'll do die.
Let's keep going on with our friends.
talking about another component on this Lakers roster.
Brony, been a key rotational player
in the Lakers' last two wins,
logging 18 minutes in the win over the heat Sunday,
19 minutes against the Blazers,
with high praise coming from JJ Redick
and his teammates in that stretch.
You've trained Brony before?
Is Bonnie looking more comfortable
on the court in year two?
I trained him in eighth grade.
That doesn't matter. Take credit.
There's a lot of A.
No, no. Listen,
he's still in that phase
where these are NBA points.
players. And where most aggressive players will be when they first get in, like, he's timid.
Most of his mistakes is coming because he's timid. He comes in and he's already looking
to pass when you have this shot, you got this driving lane. Most of his drives are driving
to pass the ball. So when he gets on the pick and roll, instead of just turning the corner,
because obviously this guy can't stay in front of you, you widen it all the way out so
you can try to make the easy pass. It's planned not to make...
He made a plan not to make mistakes.
He is playing not to make mistakes.
He should get in.
Three minutes, get four shots up, try to get two assists, two rebounds.
There should be a goal, like, star players have goals, right?
Like, I want to average this.
I got, like, you come in with three to four minutes.
Three, anybody, get three shots, two officers.
Like, give yourself a stat line and then go forward so you know how to play.
Yeah, for sure, for sure.
I hear you, but they tell you this, they teach you to get the guys
I need you to be a playmaker.
I got you coach.
I got you coach.
I used to, I used to, yeah, yeah, yeah, so.
Run office.
All right, I got you.
Brooke.
You can call chin and do his old thing.
My bad coach.
My bad.
10.
15.
Yeah, I ran the plate coach.
I ran it.
Don't look at it.
Don't look at him if you miss.
Love you missed.
You're going to look at you.
Hey, that was the blitz.
Reverse fast, give him back.
Then we can do the 15.
No, but you can see, Bronny, that, you know, this summer he got bigger.
You know, he's definitely playing better defensively on the ball.
Make him play is better.
Last year, he was shooting 31%.
This year he was shooting 18%.
So definitely got to shoot the ball better.
I blame the rims, but I understand what you're saying.
Yeah.
And then just focus more on just knocking down.
corner threes and you know keep talking to Marcus Smart because I feel like
Mark's marking up him out a whole lot we talked about that early it feels like
Mark is smart across the board I'm trying to be honest here right he won't play
much when daddy come back and everybody's healthy just what if it's dad he was
here daddy's sake you play but he probably won't play as much so let's make the
best of these minutes now to your point yeah let's make the best of these
minutes 18 minutes one game 19 minutes and next game that's that's positive right
The points and all that stuff people want to emphasize and all that it is what it is, man.
Shooting definitely needs to approve aggressiveness needs to approve, but finding teammates.
Listen, man, it's so much pressure on it.
It's like shooting medicine ball up there that boy, man.
Still, there's so much pressure on every shot.
He's playing out to make mistakes.
There's so much pressure on everything he does.
It's like shooting medicine.
It's like shooting that heavy ball up to him, man.
It is like, oh shit, this bitch got to go in.
He got to make his first shot.
What happened to leak, y'all?
Get a little leak.
You're a little early little league out.
You got like, you got rebounders.
Hey, man, listen, when this ball go all, I'm leaking out.
Like, give me a little easy little lay.
Backdoor cut.
Back door cut.
Yes.
Oh, come, man.
You got to play the game of basketball.
I'm glad they can't be talking about it.
It's like basketball, right?
Yes, but.
You got a big screener out there.
Hey, me and you're going to do the pick road.
I hear you, yes.
Most mentality, yeah.
But in his, like, I'm still the 55th pick.
So I'm
I still
Like I get my last name James
My daddy is him
I do I know that
But I'm still the 50-50 pick
And I don't want to do nothing to fuck this up
Even though my
I'm here
I want to keep getting these 18 minutes
I want to keep getting these nights
So I'm going to do what you asked of me
I'm not going to deviate
I forgot Bernie was on the team
Like I'm not going to deviate
You know you didn't
From what I think is being successful
I hear I don't talk about I don't know
For me to stay on the floor when they ain't playing,
shit, I'm going to come out of this motherfucker
and throw that bitch over there.
Well, Swahy, in our consolidated two days a week,
we got a, there's a lot of things.
The season just started.
Hey, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
19 minutes?
That's how many shots he did take?
Hold on.
Oh, you'd have been more aggressive.
Oh, hell, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Danny ain't even enough.
One point four?
19 minutes four shots he must have good he had three 19 mini game too many six six so
that's too many he had three 19 mini games huh yeah three I'm right I'm happy for
that row yeah like there's playmaking ability I know you I know what you want him to do
that's what he's better at is his playmaking I know what you want him to do but
if his ability if his skills set is playmaking and getting others involved I want him
to do that move got to be my way but you got to be a question you still got to be
What is he doing in practice, though?
That's where you get your confidence from, too.
If he's getting killed in practice.
They don't practice no more.
But I'm just saying, for him, if you kill him in practice,
you're gonna go out there with that time.
Okay, hold on.
How many games did they miss already?
You think Luke are practicing?
I'm not saying.
He's not out there with Luke.
He's out there with Nick Smith, Jr.
Again, so.
Ruey, Dr. Connect,
how many?
How many people?
He shouldn't.
How many people?
In the practice?
One.
No, no, guess what he's doing in practice?
They got them.
No, no, the same shit you see him doing in the game.
But that's how he plays.
That's where you get the confidence from.
But that's how he plays.
So his confidence comes in playmaking.
And not being a good, because he ain't, in high school he wasn't that go-gitter of a bucket.
That ain't who he is.
So his ability to play-make and make plays and do get downhill and get, that's what he is.
So that's what he's doing in practice.
He's implementing what he's doing in practice in the game because it becomes natural for him.
But still, that should give you confidence.
They're probably doing two-on-two at best.
And maybe, maybe.
Maybe.
Maybe.
Go and that Kineck killing him every day.
Yeah.
Is him and Kinekane T and they plan against some coaches?
And Kinekassi.
I'm going to get some coaches.
They plan to get some coaches.
Vando practice.
Vando, yes.
Jake, Dalton Kinnett.
Brani.
Brani.
Christian Koloko.
Yeah.
Kloko.
Yeah.
Kloko.
Manon.
Yeah, you said.
Manon, whatever.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He ain't got another play five.
So we got to pay against the coach.
Jackson Hayes out there.
No.
Yeah, shit, he's practicing.
He's practicing.
Oh, he ain't.
Yeah, yeah.
He ain't hurt.
He ain't.
He ain't hurt these practice.
Man, you got two PEDs, you got two player development coaches,
two or three player development coaches out there practice.
What about what we're called practicing?
No.
Gay men.
No.
Gay men's hurt right now.
When he's playing three on three majority of their practices,
and if they can get five or try five.
The coaches are out there.
I'm going to get to practice today.
Like a full practice.
Hour.
A full practice?
Lakers?
No, no, just around the league, you think.
Our first 20 minutes going over plays.
Man, Lakers ain't practicing.
It's walked through going over play the first 20 minutes and give what you need.
Guys that don't play that's getting it in.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So what was it?
Go look up that style.
It was, what was it?
Mid-January when the Lakers said, we've only practiced, what, three to six times this year?
Yeah.
I remember saying that.
Yeah, remember.
That's crazy.
Jake Biffitts at her right now, the reason is different, though.
They work out by myself, so I'm working out by myself.
We're confident that's going to be by and go home.
That's not like a practice.
It's the first.
I don't know what the Warriors, it was go overplay, walk through basically, like 15 minutes.
That was eight years ago.
Get what you need.
That was eight years ago.
But that's what they're doing.
That was eight years ago.
You're acting like they're not showing up.
Eight years.
That was eight years ago.
That was that.
That was different.
What I'm saying is eight years ago, what y'all was doing was different than the eight years prior, right?
What we was doing, that was different.
What you think eight years now from when y'all was doing?
They still got to be together.
They're walking in there like us.
We're still watching film and shit.
Some of these dudes don't even ride the team bust the games and practice and shit.
Yeah, that's crazy.
But I'm just standing the same hotel.
And don't ride the phone.
Jimmy Butler didn't even stay at the same hotel.
He was staying in the Airbnb.
Some of these dudes don't even live on the team.
Wait, hello, so they got a driver to the game?
Just to not get on a...
I go on an Airbnb.
They're going to be different so bad.
I mean, I understand if you're going early,
I mean, I can say it's going to be different so bad.
Clippers. They did,
the clippers had training cap in Hawaii.
Yeah.
Seen them all two eyes.
It ain't just one person.
It was like three or four.
Drivers instead of getting back on the bus?
Not even riding the bus.
Get practice over them.
They got these shoes are gone.
And they in Hawaii?
Yes.
They're in Hawaii and they still get,
they're not carpool.
We all going back to the same.
No tarpool.
Yo, not carpool, going back to the same hotel.
We've got 45 different SUVs out there, and dudes get done.
That's the problem.
They ain't together no more.
Ain't, no dudes ain't even riding the bus.
I'm like, yo, this shit's crazy.
Everybody wants to be.
Yeah, I mean, unless you went early like that, yeah, unless you went early distance back.
But other than that, you put that 4 o'clock, 430.
It's going to be so cool.
Everybody will be so good.
They got the early bus, and they got the early bus, and each one of them dudes got their own car taking them to the game.
Yeah, they got three.
buses and they ain't even know neither one of them.
They just got bused up in a lot of small.
There's six people on the bus.
All right.
Lakers six and two.
I damn show rode the bus over there like I was playing.
Shit, I went down and signed autographs and shit.
Yeah, I got to.
Laker six and two so far this season taking on Wimby and the Spurs this evening.
Gil, we're going to be on playback tonight?
I got to get my hair cut before the game.
We're going to the game, man.
We'll be on playback.
Playback.
TV slash Gilbert Arena.
She's going?
She want to see.
In the suite?
No, she said she don't do suites.
She said regular.
You got her corside ticket?
You let her sit on the big house?
Damn.
You let her sit on the court?
I got to sit in the suite.
Where are you going?
That's Zach and Cody, sweet-like.
You're going to?
Hell no.
I'm going to be with Joe.
Playback.
I hear Joe, playback.
Pull up to our watch party.
Huh?
She going with her friends?
She don't got no friends.
All right, well, let's shift over to the Eastern Conference.
The rivalry.
Between the Bucs and Pacers, been well documented the past few seasons
with Indy eliminating Milwaukee from the playoffs in the first round the past two years
and some Fisticups breaking out after the Pacers tried to take the game ball from Janus
after he dropped the career high 64 points back in 2023.
Y'all remember it.
Get a little nigga to ball back.
The rivalry took on a new layer this offseason with former longest tenure Pacer,
Miles Turner taking his talent to the Bucks in free agency
after the Pacers tried to be funny with his money,
following their NBA finals appearance.
So Turner has made some controversial statements
about his former team and teammates in recent months
and was showered with booze in his return to the nap.
Let's take a look at the highlight.
So Janice didn't take too kindly to the Pacers fans,
disrespecting Turner, had his teammates back.
Yonis could be seen booing fans throughout the game
while cooking the Pacer to the tune of 33 points,
13 rebounds, and 5 assists.
He was 14 to 21 from the field.
Turner added 9.7 boards and five blocks.
And Kyle Kuzma had 15 off the bench.
Pascal Seyakum led the Pacers with 32 points and 8 assists.
And Isaiah Jackson, who was Turner's replacement added 21 points and 10 rebounds.
So the Pacers, they're competitive despite the injury issues.
Halley's Pops also in attendance sitting court side.
They said his daddy could come back to the games.
Let's see the Yonnas show.
The NASA is also in attendance.
Oh, man.
I think the store or a super star.
Yeah.
Hey, he's looking different right now, Mr. Bean.
That's singing a lot for the Greek freak.
Pacers are racing an 11-point deficit to tie things up with 14 seconds remaining.
But with the game on the line, it was the Greek freak.
Going ham, hitting this fadeaway jumper at the buzzer to call game.
Yon is celebrated by running down the court while grabbing his junk
and then telling the Pacers fans to be quiet.
before hitting them
with more booze
and thumbs down
Yeah, look at the fuck on
I'm selling
Yeah, that's his brother
Yeah, yeah, yeah
John is so turked up
His big bro had to try to step in
and calm him down
Saying relax
In Greek
We had some translators watching the game
Fuck on
He speaks English, bro
But he was said
You know they speak their native tongue
When they're talking to each other
When I don't know everybody know
What's going down
Greco Nigerians
Hit a fadeaway
You see it
Shout out Derry Bird as well
So unfortunately
Bucks followed up
This went by getting smacked by the Rappers
On the second night
We're back to back in Toronto
I had to say that man
But I had to
No you don't
It was last night
If it was the latest
You wouldn't do it
And I would not
I wouldn't
But Mr. B
Was it good to see
Yannis
Having Miles Turner
Back against this
Pacer squad
Yeah man
You know Yonis
He bleeds that green
For Milwaukee
You know
Especially last year
Them losing
and, you know, that series becoming like a rival.
And then to come in, you know, on Miles and Turner's, you know,
first game back there and being able to hit the game winner,
I'm sure it felt good, especially after what happened last year and things like that.
But, you know, proud of the Bucks, man, they've been playing well.
I know they got smacked by Toronto, but Yon has been really playing well
and looking like the MVP.
And I also want to shout out the Indiana Pacers, man.
I think the Indiana Pacers, because I feel like they've created their self as being.
like one of the biggest rivals team in the NBA.
Just off, even last year, if you look at Tiley
with the hand jesse with Reggie Miller,
but I feel like Indiana Pacea's probably like
one of the most hated teams right now
and a lot of that has to be with Holly,
but it's good for the NBA though.
Yeah.
For sure.
Gil, your facial expression right now,
hard not to notice.
You've been looking at Indiana?
Nobody gave a fuck about knowing.
Nobody paid attention to Indiana.
Indiana since last year, man.
They still got a team.
They play hard.
They're playing hard.
One and six.
No one can't.
And then right when they point guard come back, it's going to be the same thing.
Wait, one and six.
You remember last year, no one knew about him anyway.
They had to go all the way to the championship for anybody to pay attention.
They still a team.
This ain't good for the NBA because nobody paying attention.
They're still a team that you hate because of their point guard.
No one hates them or dislikes them or loves them besides anybody in Indiana.
The Milwaukee Bucks fans like Pacers.
Yeah.
No one.
Midwest.
When Highley comes back, he's created that, that,
Just like when Reggie Miller was playing in the 90s, everybody hated.
No, only New York.
Next year?
Nobody really liked the Indiana Pacers like that.
Only New York.
They was a feisty team.
They were dirty.
All right.
How many TV games they got here this year?
Negative what?
Negative four.
They owe four games.
They owe four games.
They owe four games, man.
Not with Tyrese Halleberg playing.
There's nobody.
Listen, I would just be honest.
Who would you be?
Listen, it's okay.
What?
Right?
Katelyn Clark.
I think nine.
schedule for nine national televised games that's it they need to put her on the page
if tyrus hallibur don't get hurt it ain't is it ain't like that it's the same thing
they got they got these they got even when he's come back to the championship how many games
they get they got nine nationally televised games and they're going to get some of them
taken away from there is fleck there is like there is like that's the only reason why
they're going to get they're going to take their games later in the season there is flex
they can't take them they're on NBC
already flexing games out.
I'm more positive, no.
I hear y'all want to, yeah, man.
I like Yonis, man.
I like his approach, man.
I like what I've always seen out of him,
his growth, his development.
It's, yeah, he plays with the kind of aggression
and tenacity that I like to see out of a basketball player,
constantly.
Yeah, I'm, his growth, that game.
winner showed me a lot that he's been really in the gym working on things.
A lot of post-ups in that clip we watched.
Yeah, man, him using what he has his advantage, man, and his pure aggression and athleticism.
And he, I think he figured it out like I did early on, right?
If I'm more athletic than you, I play harder than you, and I'm stronger than you,
and I work on my shit, there's nothing you can do with me.
There's nothing you can do with me.
And I think he figured that out years ago.
If I just continued my trajectory of getting better,
I already got these three things in the bank.
Play harder than you.
I'm more aggressive than you, and I'm more athletic than you.
Those things are there.
So I already got those things.
If I continue to get better, there's nothing no one in his league can do with me.
And he displays that year in, year out.
And to B's point, like he is,
you can put him in the envy.
category every year, just like when Brown was in Cleveland, just like certain guys,
and certain players, because of what they do for their team, they are constantly in the
conversation.
Luca LeBron's, the Janus, the Nicolas, they're going to all, the shades, they're always
in the conversation for what they do for their team.
And yeah, I want to see him win another one.
Like, I want to see him win another one.
In Milwaukee?
MVP, wherever he is, like, championship is one thing.
I think I had a better chance this year because he don't have a number two.
He don't have to really.
The way he plays, they finished top three in the east, three, four in the east.
He should get it for sure.
His chances are great.
But I enjoy, like, here's one of few people who I will pay money to see play basketball.
I've always said that about Russ.
And Janice fits that.
So Yonis so far this season is seven games.
Averaging 32, 13 rebound, six assists, shooting 68% from the field, 60% from three.
Listen, just watching them, and this is why, like, 10 VPs and who the best player in the league, there should be these different categories because when you look at this game, he's doing something different in every situation.
You have him posting up, you have him ducking in, right?
You have him fast break.
You have ISO.
You have a pick and roll.
Like, he's playing a full game of domination.
like when you're looking at him like all right how do I guard him
and then you just watch the highlight
and he's running the pick and roll
catching the switch
isoing backing a little guy up
bully ball fast break lay up pushing the break
making the pad like he's he's doing
every single thing
there is to do in a basketball game
to try to get a win that's
you can't put that on stats
you can't
you can't if I'm missing my point guard
y'all just bring the ball up
you know what I mean
Like, oh, Yonis, we need a post.
You know what I mean?
They're just...
We need a center.
Go through the gentleman.
Yeah, he's just that guy right now.
He's...
He's a superstar.
No, but he's a mega.
He is him.
Like, he is him.
And he approaches it that way, man.
When Magic Johnson, we missed him five.
Magic had to play five.
This is what he's doing.
Yes.
He's on a...
Is Yonis a megastar?
Yes.
Like LeBron and Toby's Jordan.
He's a mega star.
Well, he's not a...
That's the megastard.
He's not those names.
But he's in that...
In his own regard.
In his own right.
He's in that category.
I mean, he got Disney movies.
Yes, he is in his own right.
Quality cinema.
Shoes, like, he has it all.
You think Jobs is a mega store?
No.
Name, the name?
That's the name.
Remember, it has nothing to do with your game.
He was a mega star.
I know, but I'm saying he just, I don't know.
He's on, he could be.
He went one more.
Because he got everything.
Winning don't have nothing to do it.
So he's a superstar?
I'm thinking a superstar.
I'm thinking a championship.
I'm thinking MVP.
Yeah, it helps.
It helps him win one more.
Two defenses.
Because you get more team with that.
So what is he right now?
Do you think he's a superstar?
Because he has mega star.
Oh, he's a superstar for sure.
Because he got all the qualities of he got the personalities, good dude, and he's, you know, he averaged 30.
He's only playing 31 minutes.
He's a 30.
Okay.
So him and she are a superstar.
32 or 31 minutes?
That's what I'm saying.
He's above shade.
He's above shade.
He's above shade.
In recognition.
Naked neck and neck.
In recognition.
Yeah, yeah.
No, I agree.
I'm just, no, I'm just trying to say what's the difference.
They love say today.
They love it.
It's swag.
I'm just trying to figure out what's the difference between megastar and super.
So when you say Devin Booker is a superstar or a mega star?
A star.
He's not even a star.
Damn.
Yeah, I want to call Devin Booker Super.
Yeah.
Yeah.
When you say mega, I'm like...
Mega, I'm thinking like...
Megastar Super.
Steph is a megastar.
Yeah.
Braun is a mega star.
And this is, James Harton.
NBA because of shoes and everything, you would put James.
Alan Iverson Mega Star.
Yeah, he's at, he's, he's on a, he is the highest.
If there's a, if there's a superstar, he is number one going into.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
He would be the next one that just, like if he went to New York or like Luca.
That's what I'm saying.
In Dallas, you go to L.A. Mega star.
He played anywhere different.
Luca is a mega star.
God bless me.
He's a mega star.
The world stop.
He's a mega star.
Luca, the world stopped when Luca got traded.
Luca, not a mega star.
Luke is a megastard.
Yo, but to the very point, right?
Luca's not a mega star.
The fact that he plays in Milwaukee, the fact that he plays in Milwaukee,
makes him a megastar.
Because if he played with these other, like, just, yeah, to your point, right?
So when he comes to Lakers, will he be, what's beyond a megastone?
Oh, shit.
He's like, Michael George.
Okay.
Okay.
Oh, right.
He's got a big.
Okay.
Michael Jordan.
What would KD be a mega star?
Yeah, hell yeah.
So it's different tiers of megastars?
No, it's just a maker star, superstar, star.
I mean, there's always different tiers of mega stars, right?
That's what Michael Jordan and Magic, they're both mega stars,
but Michael Jordan is a bigger megastar.
But there's a megastard category.
There's a, I don't know.
Michael Jordan is bigger than Magic Johnson.
Yeah, I'm going to say, right.
Yes.
Michael Jordan is bigger than Magic Johnson, though.
That's fair.
Yes.
I think that's more debatable than you guys.
Yeah, that's no fan.
Man, I don't know about that one.
Well, you don't know about what?
Wait, what?
Magic is good everywhere.
Wait, no, we, come on, man.
Michael Jordan?
Magic opened a movie theater in the hood.
We got magic Johnson theaters.
Michael Jordan got the most feared logo ever made by any after.
They risked their life to go to Magic Towns.
Absolutely.
Right down the street and service school.
Michael George.
They're going to go to Magic Johnson Theater in the jungle.
Kids are losing their life over a shoe.
You risk your life.
Hey.
People lost their lives.
Go ask your kid.
About magic and...
Well, that's which one they know.
I guarantee they ain't got no,
I guarantee they ain't got no magic zone.
Yonan is the favorite voice.
That is a fair.
That is a fair.
Hey, my seven, though, is two people.
Brian, Jordan.
Kobe.
You're actually three.
So there's different tiers,
but there's three in my household,
and I'm fucking down here somewhere.
Michael Jordan is up here.
So, D-D-A is Bron, Kobe, Jordan, KJ, Steph, Daddy, down there's somewhere.
You got to pull out the time to remind them.
But we asked the chat will Yannis win MVP this season.
42% of the chat thinks that Yonis will win MVP.
It's early.
It's early, but we'll see if this level play is sustainable.
Let's talk about a person race.
Every night.
Every night.
That's an easy bed on underdog.
I don't want to mess with me.
Shout out to underdog.
Yonis and Shay.
Easy bet.
Make sure use promo code Gil when you download the underdog app.
28 and they're going to get 30 every night.
Oh yeah.
Yeah, easy.
It's a four-person racing.
Like he.
And you put that boy in Denver in there and Luca and let's call it a four-prudson race.
Let's get back to Miles Turner.
Like I mentioned, there was no love loss between Turner and Pacers fans,
as this happened during his pre-game tribute video.
That's messed up, though.
That's not fun though.
Book closed.
That was kind of hard, though.
Board of line.
So while getting showered with booze, Turner mimicked closing the book on his chapter with the Pacers.
After the game, he had this reaction to Pacers fans booing him in his return.
It was disheartening, man. It was frustrating, you know.
It's frustrating, you know, just, you know, you give 10 years of your life, your blood,
you sweat your tears, you take pay cuts, you, you know, you survive trade rumors, you know,
you try to do everything the right way, and then sometimes that stuff shakes out, you know,
it's cool, you know, I take it on the chin, you know, I think a lot of people say I said things,
but I think a lot of people want to formulate their own narratives and spin it to whatever they
want it to be, but it is what it is, man, like I say, you take it on the chain, just move on.
He won't cry in the car.
No, he's pissed.
He's going to cry in the car.
He's going to cry in the car.
His feelings are hurt.
He plays the leg up, though.
He's a very spiritual.
I mean, just, go here.
No, I'm just, I'm, yeah.
That's all he knows.
You expect something different.
That's messed up.
It's a different day and age of sports fans, right?
There's no, listen, you only, they didn't put this.
They didn't put this boy career in a microwave.
He's gone, he's done.
It's, like, it's messed up.
But leading up to it, so when did he do the interview
talking about Halley and all them, bro?
So he was on Finanacist's a show, Thanalysis.
Yes, and then leading up to it,
you got things to say.
You don't help the situation.
You don't help talking about your former teammates
and the guy who's still there,
who's their guy, who got hurt.
Went out there and got hurt for their team.
You can't go out there and say.
nothing bad about it they gonna fucking boo you like what's after the game what he said
basically said hallie was a front runner a fake tough guy you ain't gonna do that we gotta take we
gotta take up for you you have to run in your mouth we gotta take up for you is this is that
he wouldn't do it in the street he would do it on the court to say hallie was just a front
runner you deserve he called him basically says a fake tub guy said uh howley'd like to talk a lot
on the court because he knows he hasn't played like i mean that's what i mean that's exactly
why he got this voted but
Overrated.
Yeah.
That's what got them voted overrated because that's what the other players are saying.
Exactly the same thing.
That's what that's what the voting comes from.
Right?
When I'm whipping you, I'm in here running my mouth.
When I'm getting whipped, I don't say nothing.
Right?
And that's where that comes from.
Well, I mean, I think the bulls just let them know how much the fans really valued him for 10 years.
So.
The page is your, yeah.
I know.
That's what I'm saying.
You know, the bulls just let you know that the fans really didn't value at all.
at all. But it usually happens with a lot of players when they leave teams.
I mean, they value, but like I said, he said a lot of his stuff is misinterpreted.
I mean, who else has that happened to?
He ain't did disrespect Indiana, so that's crazy.
Did LeBron do it, uh, 10 with, uh, but the way he left.
Yeah, Levin, but it's how he left.
Yeah, go on that.
Turner 10 years, he was the longest tenure pacer, but he was constantly mentioning the trade rumors.
You can't.
He get booed.
He still gets booed.
Okay, but that's how he left.
Right.
You left us and went to the team that beat us.
Okay.
You're going to get booed every time in Oklahoma City.
Sure.
Did you get booed anywhere?
No.
Okay.
Swaggy, have you ever been booed?
No, I'm just saying.
Now, people are you making the two finals,
when I went back to Jersey, it was love.
Other people, when they go back to places,
it depends on how you're departure with.
And if it was up to you or not, right?
If the team gets rid of you, that's one.
You make a decision to leave, that's one thing.
Okay.
made a decision to go sign with Milwaukee.
They despise him for that.
You're supposed to be with us.
We want you offer more bread.
But you just, we just lost in the finals.
We want to, how they down, we want you, you're part of us.
We want you back.
You want to, I know the team been, every year you've been a trade bait every year.
We understand that, but still, we ain't got rid of you, still ours.
So you made a decision to leave, so now we don't rock with you.
I didn't make the decision.
I mean, that could be it.
They don't.
No, I did.
No, I did.
You didn't give me my value.
But in their mind.
You didn't give me my values.
I know, I get it.
You didn't give my value I left.
In the fans mind, how many pay cuts do you want me to take?
How many pay cuts do you want me to take?
If I'm a Pacer's fan?
Another one.
Another one.
I told you, that's why it's the most hated team.
That's why he was like 80.
I'm not fault.
I didn't took enough.
I'm not faulting them for leaving.
I'm not out of here.
Paisers fans are faulting them for leaving.
Like, you got to take another one.
Another pay.
They could.
Yeah, that's what they're expected.
The fans don't connect with you, too.
I feel like they didn't really connect.
He's different, too, at the end of the end of the day.
He'd be doing-
He more like them anyway.
Yeah.
He's more like them any.
They're playing with Legos, too.
Nah.
Have you seen somebody faces?
They play with Lego.
They look slow.
On the track, you're running.
They don't even have no room to boo.
They don't even have no room to boo.
Yeah.
They should boo their damn stuff.
Yeah.
They got a small.
this gym in NBA history. It's a college gym. They can't even feel that up unless it's a
girls' basketball game. Women.
Damn. Women.
Yeah. Well, they booed the hell. Why are we still talking about it?
Guess what? Guess what they go back? Guess what they're going to do?
Boo again. They're going to boo him again. Guess when he go back next to what they're going to do?
Boo again. And guess what they're going to be going to be? Cool.
That's cool. Guess what? They're going to be first and booed.
Yeah. They're going to be first and booed.
Yeah, they're sold out all year.
No, he probably was.
They ain't sold out all year.
You come?
I didn't even want to touch with that boy.
Next time you come.
And his soul was hurt because he was looking up at the anything like,
boo.
Yeah.
Life, huh.
That sucks.
But then that don't help neither.
Right?
That don't help the situation.
Right?
The book was open.
Like, dude.
The book was open.
Yeah.
Just not closing it.
My shit was just the clock.
He was, he was, he didn't know what to do.
He didn't know what to do.
Swinkle, swigle, swigle,
Jazz fingers, jazz fingers,
said, boo!
He didn't know what to do.
He didn't know what to do.
He probably was telling you, you're a idiot.
I've been here 10 years.
You know, they love me.
Love me.
I've been here 10 years.
He wanted to go cut, cut, cut.
Man, come on, man.
So we have, we wrap it up.
Miles, it's all right, it's all,
Milwaukee.
Cut.
They've been over to look at the do that run and join, I'm like,
I think I was trying to signal, hey, cut that.
Cut the clip.
So we asked the chat, did Miles Turner deserve to be booed in his return?
70% of the chat says no.
Come on, Pacers.
I know, this is, look, it's a brave-related situation.
He said it was like a $40 million difference
between the pages of...
He should have left.
Like shit.
No, he should have left.
I'm just saying, but when you...
Yeah, absolutely.
Give me my money.
Oh, I do not blame him one bit.
Trust me.
I did the same thing.
I fucking left, so...
All right, well, let's keep this thing moving.
Let's talk about another situation going down.
So Tuesday, Pelicans announced
that Ford, Zion Williamson has been diagnosed
He goes with a grade one left hamstring strain that will keep them sideline for at least seven to ten days.
The Pelican season has gone off to a terrible start with a squad going winless in their first six games
before finally getting a dub over the Hornets without Zion on Tuesday night.
So Williamson appeared in five of the Pell's first six games, currently leading the team in scoring,
rebounding in assists, averaging 23.7 rebounds and five assists in 31 minutes per game.
He's missed time in each of the last four seasons dealing with hamstring issues.
So a slim down Williamson entered this season with great optimism looking to bounce back after playing in just 30 games last season before the Pell's shut him down due to a bone bruise in his back.
And now his hamstring issues have reemerged to start this season.
So how concerned should the Pelicans be with his latest setback for Zion?
Seems like it's just going to keep happening.
Every year, I think he's going to just follow him his whole career, hoping not, but.
Then I asked the question on this very couch.
You get on this very program.
Gilles Arena presented by underdog.
Whoa, whoa.
Good job, good job.
Wait a bit of you ready.
So we were praising Zion and everybody was,
Zion looks good.
His weight is down.
He should be playing better.
These things, everything.
And I played devil's advocate.
I was glad I don't want him to get hurt.
I want him to have our standing year and do all the things we know he can do.
Heaven forbid.
I ask the question, what if he gets the same thing again?
What if his hamstring acts up again?
Then what are people going to say?
Talking about his weight was the issue, talking about what this was, but his weight was down,
all these things, now hamstring thing has surfaced again.
So now what?
Is it his weight?
Is it, what is it?
Is it how he plays?
What is it?
I think the way he plays.
I think he's how he plays.
Yeah, it's how he plays.
And then we all know with hamstring injuries, as he's proven, it's not going to get better
in seven to ten days.
So it's going to go from seven to ten days.
You're going to come back.
You're going to have a setback.
He's going to be out a month.
That month go hamstrings and groins are tricky.
Those are, you can't because the hamstring, you've got to rest it.
You can't stretch it.
You can't overdo it.
You've got to red light therapy, stem, ice, all those things.
You got to rest it.
And as soon as he come back and try to play again, explosion, the way he plays the game.
So what is it?
So what are people going to complain about and say about Zion now?
Is weight, is it this, is it, what is it?
What is it?
It's the NBA, the NBA was never designed for that weight and that type of power, right?
You're talking about a guy who's built like a football player who has football explosion.
It's compact.
Playing basketball, meaning what he, football is straight on.
Him, he's, he's exploding.
So he's going from low stances to,
just out there, his hamstring
ain't ready for that.
It's not built to do that.
Right?
He has to really, like,
he has to train like a football player.
Like, literally, like a running back,
like a track runner,
because his torque muscle is way more
explosive. You're talking about, like,
that Derek Rose explosion
when he's just coming out of, when he's coming
out of zero.
Yeah, they're not used to that.
He can't do these little ployo shits that
We do, right?
Our bodies are used to this.
He's saying he did different stuff this summer though.
Yeah, to lose the weight.
Now what? What happened before the NBA, though?
He wasn't getting hurt like that.
But he was small.
He was talking about somebody who was probably like 2, 230, 220 in high school.
He's small.
2.30, 2.40.
He came out when he came out?
When he was in high school.
It was a freshman year?
Yeah, when he's in high school.
It's freshman in high school?
Freshman year was probably 190 at most.
When he got, came out, he was.
When he went to Duke.
Yeah, like, what happened?
It was 270.
No, that's after he got hurt.
No, he was 305 when he got hurt.
He went to Duke.
When he was picking the weights up.
When he went to Duke, I'm not mistaken, the boy was too.
It was listed in like 280's according to the internet.
It was a freshman year.
When he went to Duke.
When he was at Duke.
When he was signed in or like during the season.
When he before.
Out of high school, going to Duke.
He was like 270.
He busted out of the shoes.
Yeah, but that was already in the season.
So he was listed at 6-7, 285.
that Duke is freshman year.
Yeah.
So that's why I'm like, what's the difference?
Yeah.
Some people just get hurt.
Yeah, that was LeBron in Miami.
It ain't got nothing to do with that.
Because you buzzing out your shoes and stiff playing.
Yes.
285?
That's Miles Garrett.
Yeah.
But that, no, okay.
But he looked.
Now, perfect.
Jay Watt.
Now that's, but those are the players.
That's how he has to train his explosion like that.
That's because.
That's because that's the explosion that they have.
Those guys are getting off the line really quick.
So he needs to, yeah, he needs to work his muscles as if he's one of them to play basketball.
Because these are the things we do, right?
We don't do hamstringing legs like that.
We're not power lifting and doing them dig.
We're not doing squats and jumping.
We're not doing that in our sport.
Right?
So he, he's training like everybody else in that.
It could be their trainer, because he didn't have his problems leading up to it.
Who's his trainers?
The fucking, the private need a new...
Who's his trainers?
Because God damn, KJ.
I had a different regimen this offseason of the cordon design, a lot of swimming, boxing, a lot of different...
Swimming box.
That's losing weight.
That's swimming is not helping.
Boxing is not helping him.
Yeah, that's helping him lose.
You need to get in that motherfucking, that squat machine, that true thing, where they take that air,
that roof, that shit.
Get on that treadmill that you move yourself.
That they got that dip in it, where you got a dip in it, where you got a
run it yourself yeah they know yeah yeah yeah yeah that shit he needs to do all of that
and it's also just an unfortunate situation like i'm like i'm reading like uh why like i'm like
i'm like why do you have box jumps like uh like with the band on he needs to get on the
power play thing with the bands on it yep he needs to do that type shit like that that that
resistance do they get the same trainer in new o'clock he needs that he need that resistance
and that he need all of that.
They're talking about poor sprint mechanics
or fatiguing muscle.
Yeah. Pateagin muscle for sure.
Uh-huh.
Yeah, so that's my thing.
Before he got to the NBA, he should we don't.
Limit, hip mobility, tight, hip flexors.
He wasn't doing all this training and all these
new shit they got him doing.
That's what I'm saying.
He wasn't going to.
Muffling out there, bitch, running through people.
At Duke, he didn't miss the college.
Like to be running through people at 285.
Don't you do a lot of lifting and working on?
In college, yeah, right?
NBA you don't.
And eating bad food.
But you're working that off because of...
Yeah, you're eating bad food.
You start changing this diet.
You start doing all these things,
him and being all this shit
that he ain't did before.
Now he fucking get hurt.
You know what I'm saying is,
is look at, think about you
how you practice in college
and how you lifted in college
versus towards the end of our career
how we lifted in practice.
Right?
Think about that muscle mass
he's coming from
and doing all this
and his body's used to it.
Then he gets to sit around all day.
Eat Chick-filet, go to strip club, do all this stuff,
and then now you've got to go out there and still be Zion
and jump out the gym.
The muscles are like, yeah, no, I got Henny seeing these dogs.
I got Henny running through these things, baby.
Bring me back that lap dance.
Bring me back that lap dance.
That's working my thigh muscle.
That's what I'm used to.
I miss five games.
He missed five games?
Yeah, so he played 30.
23 of the 38 games.
I don't know if he was in that shoe exploded.
There's a shoe.
Yeah, when he busted out of that.
But yeah, no, man, it's just what people going to say now.
It's unfortunate that he's there again.
Man, put him in jail on the scene.
If he was going to be injured, I wanted to be something different, right?
Not the hamstring thing, right?
Because it's nasty work.
It's not going to go away, man.
Unfortunately, the hamstring shit triggers.
Why think football players, they come out there, motherfucker got a bad hamstring?
They sit out a month.
The wage your size said.
But it's in a whole month.
But that's what I'm saying.
If I'm him personally, I'm going to look at the sport that this has happened to, which is tracking football.
Then I'm going to look at my body size and say, all right, Garrett, Watt, what we got Michael Parsons?
Like, hey, what do you guys do for your hamstring?
Like, you know, all the glutes, right, hammies, right?
What do y'all do?
What do y'all do because my muscles, it seems like it's moving like y'all.
And I need to see how y'all are moving
What's your all training what's your stretch
Right what are y'all
And that's where I'm gonna go for my information
Yeah and because in college
They did do that football
They did the football stuff like
We play some damn tightening
Were the same football trainer
Shut up
That's what it is
Damn they are more explosive
Miles Garrett types
Absolutely
Like they said
We reevalued with 7 to 10 days
Traditionally those grade one
Hamstring strains take about two weeks
Two weeks
Get back to sport
But now that's two weeks where you're not really doing shit.
Because you can't do anything.
Now you've got to work on your wind.
Now you're, now you, now it's so.
Because you can't stretch.
Now we can't run.
It just sucks because he works so hard.
He works so hard to get forward.
Got you going that bike.
Oh, yeah, that's bullshit.
You get off their mother, you get, go out there bitch and run up and down that court.
Like, it's such unfortunate, man.
He just worked hard.
Yeah, well, we'll mind the situation saying prayers out to Zion,
hoping that everything gets right.
with him and the Pelican
who are struggling. Let's shift over to the
Eastern Conference. Sixers and Bulls
made in Chicago Tuesday night
with the top spot in the East on the line.
Philly was up by as much as 24
points in the first half and 13 in the
fourth quarter until the Bulls came
storming back. We pick up the action
in the fourth quarter. Let's take a look at some of those
highlights. If we can,
please, sir. Tyrese had
another big game for Philly dropping 39 points
of five assists and 39 minutes of action.
Joelle and B finished with 20 points
six boards in a season high, 26 minutes.
It was a beat four straight 20-point game.
But it wasn't enough to outlast the Bulls
as the Sixers' offense cooled off in the fourth quarter.
Josh Getty messed around and dropped another triple double,
finishing with 29 points, 15 rebounds, and 12 assists.
On Nikola Vucevich added 19 points in 10 boards
and Jaylen Smith and Kevin Herder combined for 26 points off the bench.
The Bulls had six players scoring double figures in the game.
So six were up, seven late in the game, but went scoreless in the final four minutes and 26 seconds of regulation.
And down one in the final moments, Giddy found Boogie Man for the baseline three to help seal the win.
He is a former USC Trojan.
We had a good luck.
We had a good luck.
So a 24-point comeback is tied for the largest in Bulls franchise history.
Giddy, also the first bull with back-to-back triple doubles since Michael Jordan did it in 1989.
So far this season, the Gidler averaging 23 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 to 6.
in 34 minutes per game, which are all career highs.
Obviously, signed that $400 million deal.
This offseason had a questionable exit from the Thunder
after more or less in the doghouse has found new life with the Bulls.
Gil is giddy proving he can be a star in this league.
I don't know what he is.
I know he's good.
He's good at what he does.
You know, it's just that, I guess.
I guess it's just a running narrative with the European player is they're so equipped.
He's Australian, but I understand what you're saying.
That side of the war.
It counts.
They equipped with so many different attributes where you just put them out there and just say, go play.
And they figure out how to impact the game.
You're talking about a small four that can play the point, that can play the small four, that can play.
You just put the ball in his hand and just tell him, just tell him.
do magic so I don't know if he's a lead dog to second option type of guy I don't know what
he is but I want one I don't mind having one you know what I mean just just give me one of
those you know I mean like how many triple doubles as he has this season I'm just a third
let me double church yeah third I should almost every game I mean I don't know he average nine
assists right I guess you know I can see why O KC got him I got rid of
of them because you have a main you have a main guy who needs the ball like he's at two this
season but he also had a 32 10 and 9 games that's what I'm saying you have a main guy who needs
the ball so it's like I can't I can't use you 100 million cheap they got them for cheap
yeah they got amazing yeah I was happening best whites man Lakers got the first bulls got the
second getting second best whites in the NBA but best whites in the NBA but best whites
in the Easter conference yeah no the best white
Last year, they're number one.
He got number two.
Number one, hit your conference.
Yeah, they're giving us a run for our money out here.
True.
What you said, Gail, absolutely.
Yeah, kick and play.
He's proving that didn't know how to use him in Oklahoma City,
because you got Shade.
They try to make him a corner dude.
He's not going to do.
He's a playmaker.
Playmaker.
Yeah, so in the right situation,
it worked out for both teams, getting Caruso
in Oklahoma City, sending him to Chicago.
to Chicago. Yeah, so they have things to build around. Now Vucevich is just not out there
rotting. He got some help. Bootsy, man. Kobe White stills up and coming. I like him.
A.O.? Yeah, no. They're docemo. Yeah, so they don't be all right, man. But did y'all see
this coming up from Giddy? 23. Oh. Yeah. You said it last year. Yeah.
Yo, if you had to start a team to win around. Give me them. You said to win something?
To win, not sell. Who are you taking Giddy or are you taking Lamella ball?
I'm taking Giddy right now.
I'm just saying that because for me, I haven't seen...
To start my team with?
I haven't seen Mello...
To build the team around.
Give me Giddy.
Yeah, because the Mello, I haven't seen Mello make the easy plays.
He's always doing something.
The reason you give me Giddy is because I don't have to be a smart general manager.
Yeah.
Right?
Like, if I have Giddy and I say, all right, let me get Maxie.
He's going to mesh with him.
right he can play he he know he knows how to play with a guy like that if i say give me you know
uh let's go with uh garland who's more of a coin guard he'll figure it out like so it mean it's
okay like you have to give he will work bad with someone like a brunson right he has struggled
a little bit yeah with a blunson right um because that means you for his playmaking style is
gone now he just like a corner a rebounder yeah so you take away his attributes so i'll take him
over it.
Bobby White, been out with a cap injury.
So he's playing 0.2, 3, like that is me?
Like it's...
For the season, they're going to be in a good spot, man.
Especially in these.
Especially in these, yeah.
Like, he's nice.
He's the spot.
Like, I'm like in the euros a lot more than that.
Okay.
All right.
They're all big.
They're all big.
You're a point like that.
Anything six for another, watch out.
Well, get he's a point.
You're not, you're not fast or athletic enough.
He's from Australia.
They do get more room, though, to make mistakes.
They earned it.
Who was this in our era that they didn't see?
Is this the Lamar Odom?
This is the Lamar Odom where we didn't know what they were.
We just know they were gifted if you gave them the ball.
But because they never had the ball, they never made the plays like this.
But this was Lamar Odom.
Carolico.
Turquiloo.
Turquiloo.
Yes.
Okay, sure.
I always think a turqualoo when I see guard like them.
This was big up.
Yeah.
I could shoot that thing, though.
No, but what I mean is you put, like, when I had him in Orlando,
you put the ball in his hand and you play a point.
He played the point.
Yeah, you played the point.
He brought the ball up the floor.
Yeah.
Boris Di Al.
Boris DiO.
He was good, too.
The young one, not that big one.
Yeah.
Not the one that after Lockout came back.
Woo.
The one in Phoenix?
Yes, Boris Dia.
The early.
And the one in Phoenix.
Because I mean, when I first seen him, he was Atlanta Hawks, right?
He was Atlanta Hawks.
And I was like, who is.
What is this?
Man, one four flat.
I won four flat him.
But he was bringing the ball of the court.
I was trying to pick him up for a court.
Who is this?
One four, five.
Yeah, I was one for flat.
And then he was bringing the ball up the court.
It was like, boom, who's this?
What'd you do?
What'd you do?
Yeah.
Who is this?
One four flat.
Yeah, one four flat, the shit out of here.
They would go crazy in this air, too.
Huh?
If they played this air, we could go.
So we did have them in our area, we just didn't know how to use them.
Somebody asked me what I think Keith Van Horn would have been in this NBA.
would have been in this NBA.
I said, fucking amazing.
What was he?
Four, stretch.
Just a stretch for?
Sneaky athletic, but shoot the shit out of it.
Post you up, shoot the 6-10, shoot the shit out of it.
How about somebody like Chris Weber?
Oh, my God.
Right here.
Oh, my God.
Like Chris Weber type.
Because, like, he's Yokic.
Nicola?
Yeah, he's Yolkich.
More athletic.
Yeah.
More athletic, Nicola Yokich.
He probably shoot the three as.
It didn't probably as deep, but when you're talking about passing, like, he was,
he probably was a better pastor than Yolich.
I ain't going to go that far.
Yonkish is 10.
Would you put Chris over at 8.5?
Yeah.
8.5?
Absolutely.
But if the ball in his hand, the way they go through Yokish, he average double.
Yeah, he'll have a shibut.
Yeah, he definitely average.
So, Bulls currently seventh in offensive rating, have the 11th best defensive rating in the league,
six and one at top of the Eastern Conference.
When you look at this Bulls Squad Gil,
are the Bulls for real or Fugazi?
They also had Red Panda perform a halftime
if that does anything for you.
She made her comeback to the league.
After falling.
In the Jordan 4-5 journey.
That game was for number one seat in the East.
That game was for number one when you think about it.
Philly could have been number one to eat two.
They five and two, they're six and one.
A week Eastern Conference ago,
just pointed that out there.
Think about it.
I mean, listen, every year we do this.
There's always a team that nobody expects that's a six, seven, eight seed that is playing very well out of the jump and they're one.
And everybody at the bottom that's veterans that got stars, they're going to want to play them.
Right.
I mean, you're not going to take this team in the playoffs.
Right?
I mean, for regular season.
In the Eastern Conference?
In the Eastern Conference playoffs, they go against Janus or they go against, you know, the New York Knicks.
ex, right, who's going to have a dominant one, two, two guys, they're going to run through the Bulls.
Right? Bulls is going to have to play somebody like them or we're good as a team, right?
If you're Cleveland Cadilliers and you sit near at eighth spot, you might lose.
You have been lunch against them.
You might lose.
Hell no.
Cleveland is a left.
I don't trust.
I mean, Boots is playing good, but I don't know.
They won every game last season.
We got all too.
But they got hurt, but they have a superstar, they got stars over there.
Bulls haven't won a playoff series since 2015.
Who?
Damn, that's...
Getting he.
Haven't made the playoffs in 2014.
It's already been a star, a star.
He was an all-star.
But I say the first 20 games are the most important for teams like this.
That's how you make the playoffs.
No, no, you can make the playoff.
Why other teams chilling, trying to figure it out.
Cool.
Round this stuff.
And that's right they put out first round.
Yeah, it's January.
That's when it gets on like...
Yeah, you get on, you're nice, listen.
You get on a little outlook, run out real quick.
You already got your confidence.
like Cleveland.
Yeah.
And what happened to them?
That's what I'm saying.
What happened to them?
It's the injury.
You said exactly what I'm here.
What happened to them?
What happened to them?
What happened to them?
What are the East?
Boston is not there no more.
312 game winning street classes.
Who's there besides the name?
Not enough.
And you know how they can be in the playoffs.
They do go through one person.
What's the standings up in the east?
So Bulls are six and one.
Detroit.
Yonnis.
Sixers are five and two.
Philly.
Pistings are five and two.
Orlando up and down.
Bucks is in the four spot right now, five and three.
Heater four and three, Knicks, four and three.
Chicago can't beat Miami in the playoffs that they met.
Man, shit.
Playoffs is a different game, man.
He got regular team, then you got playoffs.
Playoffs, you're going to just make Giddy shoot.
Yeah, they're going to shoot three.
Let me see you.
Let me see you hit 30 at ease, motherfuckers in this series.
He didn't have seen that, though.
Two things to pack before we move to the next topic.
We asked the chat, can Josh Giddy be a superstar in the league?
51% of the chat say yes.
Very small majority.
A superstar?
A superstar.
That's what was that of our chat.
And our chat responded with 51% saying,
I mean, you can, yes.
If you have a chance to be super and mega, you could.
We asked, are the Bulls for real or Fuggezi?
You're not going to be a superstar.
61% of the chat said the Bulls are Fuggezy.
But again, shout out to Red Panda making her return to the court
after injury this summer, rocking the Bulls 45.
Bulls 45, Michael Jordan Jersey.
Yeah, she didn't hurt her.
Not to be here to play games with you,
surprise she didn't come back like playing.
She came back like playing.
Not to play games with you,
aim at you.
All right, so we got one more segment
before we move on to mostly fans, call a day.
So we're in the show with two unfortunate events
that went down recently.
Let's start in the college ranks where a player
who shall remain nameless have the opportunity
for a wide open dunk.
But then this happened.
Oh, that was sick.
Take a look.
Oh, you see it?
That's hurt.
Missed the dunk.
Miss the dunk.
Oh my God.
The player in question is from Le Moyne Owen College who were on the road taking on Dillard University.
And the dealer fans proceed to pack him up by mocking what they considered to be effective
you can see the crowd.
Look at him.
Look at him.
Look at him.
Look at him.
Look at him.
Hacking him up.
He walked up the stairs like that.
Sick.
That was a high school game.
Right?
I thought that was a high school game.
Small college.
L.A. South West.
My neck and my back.
So a quick question for the couch.
Have you ever faked an injury during a game or practice?
No, I know.
How's your time to say your piece?
You ever fake the injury here?
For me, never.
I ain't that.
In a game?
No.
Just, you know, he's like, you play, you get knocked out of bounds.
He started holding, and then they come in there, as soon as you get the ball back, you're up, I'm open,
gets your little easy, a little two, you know.
You don't seem that a lot, but he doesn't fake the one to get out the game.
Honorable Man here on Gilzor-Ren and presented by Underdog Woo-Woo.
Woo-Woo!
Thank you, Couch.
I did.
That's not ever remember the time.
Twaggy, you faked an injury.
What happened?
I was trying to get a foul on a fast break in Miami.
I didn't get the foul, though, so.
It was bad.
I just stayed down there.
I was having a good game, so it was, you know, I go.
So did you get pulled out of the game?
No, I carried it all the way into the training room, and then I came back in the game.
It was after you left.
I had 22 at the half, and I just carried the injury on, you know.
I was a start in.
I was starting.
You were a star on the verge of Superstar.
You were the star.
D. Wade hit me, though. He really did hit me, so I was trying to sell it.
So I just stayed down. I said, fuck it. Don't get back.
Just going to the locker room.
Came back out and score some more.
You got to stay in character because you can't stop.
No, no, no. You can't stop.
Yeah, you can. You can't. It was like a minute or something left, though.
That's two shots that you missed.
I wasn't. It's a possible.
It's a possible.
No, what I'm saying? That's a possible two shots you missed.
I was tired, and I was, I was kind of hurt, but I wasn't hurt.
Yeah, I'll fake it until you're trying to set me out.
You ain't going to send me out.
I ain't going to go take it that fall.
He's sitting there and then you see coach, hey, no, no, no, no, no.
She's overreacting.
I'm trying to sell it.
Well, let's shift over to the case.
You never done, I've done that before.
Where a coach thing you hurt, did they serve you or not?
No, watch out.
Take your ass back.
I'll just bullshit.
That's the worst for the players coming in, though.
You'd be stuck looking at the coach like.
Come back, man.
Come back, man.
Come back over here.
That's the coldest thing in the world to go up there and have to come back.
You know the best part about that?
You don't ever feel bad for, right?
You never feel bad.
What?
Like when you're getting subbed out and, you know, I got, no, watch out, man.
I'm good.
I'm good.
And then you got to, you're looking at coach like this.
Never feel bad.
I never feel bad.
I never like, man.
That's the most awkward shit.
What?
Never feel bad.
I'm like, damn, man.
My bad.
I didn't mean, do that.
It's a bad team.
You're a bad teammate.
I'm horrible.
I got you.
I got, no, you don't.
You better get somebody else.
I got, no, you don't.
No, that's sick.
If I ever came in, like, hey, man, I got you.
No, you know.
You just on the court, too.
That's sick.
Then I'm going to stand right there.
Yeah, we're going to get this.
Coach.
Be getting sick.
We're getting the sick.
We're getting the leg game, everything.
The leg and all that.
It shouldn't happen.
So we was in practice one year, boy, Adrian Dantley was trying to get Mello to come out practice.
Mm-hmm.
Trying to get Lenins Clay's as a son being forward.
Mello was in.
Mello, get over here.
Mello, get, I said, get over here.
Please.
Please.
Please.
Please.
Like, please, you gotta come out.
Yo, he was toughest shit at first, man.
Loud, that loud, deep-ass voice, like three or four.
Get over here.
I'm like, now.
Like, please.
I did that to you.
I'm like, come on, Gil.
Shut your ass up.
I did do you like that.
Oh, no, no.
He was like, Gil, I got you.
I said, please.
All right.
Then he started talking.
Come on, man.
Just please, man.
I don't want to.
I don't want to walk home to talk over there, man.
Please.
I don't like this.
I have family here.
Yeah.
I have got family here.
Yeah.
I'm going to risk you know I'm off I'm off too I'm like listen I'm brick it and everything
like yeah not right now man I'm good come on man come on man caught up to play with Nick
he drawing up to play he didn't put Nick in and like yeah he's still sitting in the spot
like shit where I'm at hey where I'm at no no you're out no I'm at no I'm at no I'm not no I'm at no
Oh, they're on TV, please.
No, yeah, he said me in the game like, uh-huh, watch it.
But you hear it too confident, like, don't even try it.
Come on, girl, please, come on.
I'm running back to the middle.
The crazy, dude, don't even use no words or do you like this?
Yeah, that look, you already know that look.
He had to talk to me.
I'm like, yeah, he's all right, right, right, no.
I said, he was not today.
You look like why you touch him.
I said, Gil, you can come back.
He said that you can come back here.
Just come get me.
Just come back and get me.
This don't make me running back.
Right away.
Well, let's shift over.
You just see him walking back to the scoring table.
You didn't have made one trip.
He already had the score of table.
You're like, damn.
I sit down for a minute.
You don't even sit down.
You just sip to water.
Let's shift over to the NBA, where Jalen Suggs
paid tribute to one of our very own here in Gil's Arena.
Let's take a look at the video.
Oh.
Wow.
Three.
Turn towards the bitch.
Oh.
Didn't they say that?
Yes.
During the game?
Yeah.
Come on.
Smoke for swag.
Give you my fucking smoke, baby.
You're gonna say now.
I did that.
It's your world.
It's your world, baby.
So it's become known as the swaggy when it happens during game.
Swaggy.
Or Nick Young.
They called you by your government.
They did.
That was unfortunate.
But swaggy, what's your reaction to Jayland Sucks
paying homage to your legendary me?
legendary me oh man you know just how many did he hit before that because you got to be
confident me you knew that did he make any before that three though because i had hit like
three in a row before i shot my i mean he looked calm in him he looked confident he did look
at the bench there it intently for from their reaction realized well i get that a nine out of
a nine point five out of team nine point five yeah you know because he the fact that he looked at
the bench that was they bench right the other team was a
I believe the Orlando Magic, but his teammates.
He looked at his teammates and missed.
His brother.
What?
They had that ball spot doing too when you turn.
The ball spot shining.
You got to feel ultimate confidence, boy.
It was only three he missed.
See, yeah, see yeah.
That happens.
That's what did you get for trying to beat you, huh?
Everybody want to beat me.
I'm a goat, man.
Legend.
That's what I told you, corners is taking over.
I am legend, your nickname at the Drew League.
Fire.
A great nickname.
I wish I could have got some money from that damn meme, though.
At least a dot, 10 cent for a...
Well, you have a lot of memes on the internet that are you getting any bread from those
men?
I don't know if it's good or bad, you know?
Superstar recognition?
Oh, I'm just a star.
I'm just a star.
Mega star or just...
Mega star.
It's like tears.
Like it'll beat me one day.
What do you think about it?
Huh? What?
No.
I was what?
Huh?
Being famous for missing a shot?
That's just famous.
It's just famous.
It's being famous.
Yeah, that's all it is.
Like I'm just saying, you know,
the announcer knew exactly where to go.
I'm a big deal, that's fine.
Me, Michael Jackson, French.
Like, so you miss shots?
Me?
Michael Jackson.
Me.
Jackson, all of them.
Prince.
Impress.
Yeah, though.
That's the Nick Young.
What number you wear?
Zero or some shit?
Oh no.
That's what we got it, friend.
You didn't get that for me.
I made mine on a game winner.
They won that game too?
No, they didn't.
I believe number four for the Orlando manager.
They got their ass whoop.
No, they didn't.
All right, well, let's move on.
on to mostly fans presented by our friends.
Damn, that's loud of shit today.
Everybody missed the shot and turned around?
Yeah, I have.
I don't own anyone, did it?
I don't want to be...
I don't know for missing the shot.
Like summer, like, yeah, Summer League and pick up.
A reminder, you can submit your questions or videos
to MostlyFans Guild at GMO.com.
This most famous miss shot in the world.
He's so confident he turned around.
I'm the Jordan.
I'm Michael Jordan.
of missing shots.

We've been with Underdog for a long time,
and trust me, this is the best offer they've ever dropped.
Don't miss it.
So we have one question is from Underdog user G, 1, 2, 3, 4.
He said, do you think Tyrese can be a number one option
on a championship team?
G, 1, 2, 3, 4 would like to know
if you all think that Tyrese Maxi can be a number one
option on a championship team?
No.
Talented as hell.
Very good.
How tall is he?
Six-three-ish.
Averaging 34, eight assists, five rebounds.
I'm going to go by the history of what we've been saying.
He's averaging eight.
Eight point four assists so far this is only seven years.
Yeah, that's right.
Him and BJ passing ball each other.
Just off history, nobody under six.
for a three has been.
Yeah, I don't think your point or I can be your leading score.
It's only two.
It's not point two.
It lasts like 50 years.
But that's it.
That's it.
That's it.
But over the years, it's only been about both five teams that always win.
Pieces that was on the team around them allowed them to be that.
Yeah.
To be the number one score, right?
I, in order for them to be successful, Joelle and B, it has to be your number one option.
Who won last year?
Say he's not that big six six six six six not my he's like he's like six four six
say say he's like six six he's not my height have you look shay and he haven't been next one yes yes
no you didn't no you haven't you think say he's sick he's he's all I'm a big time he's maxi fan
but I just don't think all of six he's scoring he's not yeah I'm the way he goes about it
I just can't see them winning with him being your number one option.
Absolutely, but in that situation or any situation,
I think you need a complimentary piece,
which needs to be a big, a scoring big, productive big, what she has now.
A healthy Joelle Embed is a different story.
I'm not saying we don't see the emergence of Tyrese Maxie,
but it looks different if Joelle and Beat is healthy the entire time.
time.
Be still on the minute restriction of four straight 20 point games.
Just when he, when from Tyrese's rookie year, if Joelle and Bede is healthy from now
until now, it looks different from Tyrese's game.
I'm not saying he wouldn't be successful, but it looks different if Joel
Embed is healthy.
Yeah, I can't I can't go and say even though history says what it says, but him as a player,
it has no
I can't put it on him
not winning with his style
if
it has to be
a smart organization
that's building a team around his
style like they did
for Isaiah Thomas
like they did for Steph Curry
right the team has to be built
for his style of play
for them to win
and
29 teams don't know what the fuck they're doing out there
to even think about anything like this.
So, you know, so most of the time
that the teams don't know how to build around a player.
Like, so it's more organization.
Would he win in Philly with the pieces they have?
No.
They're going to have to readjust some things.
If it's his team, they're going to have to fit it
for how he plays this game.
A bunch of wings.
They don't need a dominant, don't need a Dominique big.
Then go downhill.
Downhill, a bunch of shot makers.
To the championship, at least it.
year.
A small guard, Brunson, it's going to be out of one of them.
Who?
A small guard making it to the championship this year.
You think so?
Yeah.
As your lead?
Yeah.
That's the number one option?
New York.
I think New York is the number one team in the East.
They won't be the healthy Milwaukee team.
They won't be the healthy Milwaukee team.
The Knicks won't be the healthy Milwaukee team.
Knicks are a lot of people's favorite.
They won't be the healthy Milwaukee team.
They won't be the healthy Milwaukee team.
Knicks in trouble.
Knicks got defense.
on truck they ain't got nobody to guard 34 i can tell you that shit yeah they're gonna throw three for
go ahead go three good luck good luck they're gonna get there you don't got there but i don't yeah but
i'm a big tyrese maxi fan trust me but this day and this day and his name is your number one hard
to say that's why but yeah he's a hell of me listen hell of a hell of a talent right but yeah it's just
the way this league is set up man um history has said different
For me, it's different.
In the East, it's different.
In the East, in this new style of basketball
when everybody can shoot the ball, I was saying.
When Biggs is playing like little guards,
what's the difference?
When you've got somebody six, sevens doing the same thing
as Maxie doing, what's the difference?
Nobody's really posting up no more.
Nobody's doing none of that, really.
But the guards that are posting up
are the ones that's taken over.
But I'm just, a Disney style of basketball, everybody's playing the same as Maxi from six feet to 16.
Not the team, that's what, but say it again?
From six feet to 16.
Why do I need a step back threes?
Why do I need a six foot doing it when I can have a 16?
Because he's an efficient.
He average and 30 something.
Well, yeah, he's happy.
But what I'm saying is it's not built for him.
That team is built around Joel and Bede.
He's just thriving in it.
So for him to win a championship, it has to be restructured for his game.
Yeah.
That game is built for, that team is built for Joel and B.
Right?
If they move on with Joel and say, all right, look, this is Maxie style.
This is how he plays.
Let's now draft players and go get players to fit how he plays this game.
Well, you just so.
Well, right now the East is open to me.
That's why it's hard to say.
I'll give you, but the Knicks won't be there.
I can call Anthony Towns as your big, Yobocelyn, Mitchell Robertson,
and somebody else, you think they're going to go deal with 34?
Not a chance.
All they got to do is make 34 a score.
It's not a chance.
Not enough.
Lie on Kuzman, make Kuzma win.
We asked the chat, can Tyrese...
They're going to be like, hey, Kusman, you got to win this game for it.
Ryan Raleigh.
Ryan Raleigh, ladies and gentlemen, remember of the name?
Ryan Rollins.
So we asked to check, can Tyrese max be the number one option on a champion?
Oh, absolutely.
55% of the chat thinks that Tyrese max can be the number one option on the championship team?
They don't know basketball.
They said they do no quality YouTube, though.
He would be able to have a chance to be final TV.
They do no quality YouTube.
That's why they're saying that.
Very, very familiar.
He would have a chance to win.
They know quality production, but they do know a great show when they see one.
We appreciate the chapter of support.
