Gil's Arena - Gil's Arena Reacts To OKC Landing Jared McCain
Episode Date: February 5, 2026The Gil's Arena NBA Trade Deadline Special as Gilbert Arenas & The Gil's Arena Crew react to the BIG MOVES of The NBA Trade Deadline inside Gil's Arena and give their takes on the biggest transaction ...day of the NBA Season. They kick things off by reacting to Jonathan Kuminga finally getting released from the clutches of the Golden State Warriors franchise as the team shipped off their young superstar to the Atlanta Hawks alongside Buddy Hield in exchange for Kristaps Porzingis and debate if this was a good move for the Dubs or just a simple salary dump to clear themselves of Kuminga. They then react to the Lakers finally making a move as the purple and gold aquired Luke Kennard to add to their collection of exciting whites and break down what the sharpshooter brings to a lineup with LeBron James, Luka Doncic & Austin Reaves. They then break down some smaller moves like the OKC Thunder's brilliant decision to trade for Jared McCain and the Minnesota Timberwolves decision to bring in Ayo Dosunmu before reacting to Shai Gilgeous Alexander going down with an abdominal strain, potentially putting his MVP Season and the Thunder's #1 seed in jeopardy. Finally, they react to Kawhi Leonard being added to the NBA All Star Roster, sparking a debate on if The Klaw will help the USA take down the World in the NBA's midseason classic and react to Cooper Flagg dropping a career high 49 points on Kon Knueppel to prove he's the best rookie in the NBA, discussing how Jason Kidd should stand on business over his decision to play Flagg at the Point Guard position early in his career. Local news is in decline across Canada, and this is bad news for all of us.
With less local news, noise, rumors, and misinformation fill the void,
and it gets harder to separate truth from fiction.
That's why CBC News is putting more journalists in more places across Canada,
reporting on the ground from where you live,
telling the stories that matter to all of us,
because local news is big news.
Choose news, not noise.

We got NBA legend current arc Raiders player Gilbert Arenas.
Murder.
Bill, you can't say that on YouTube.
Unaliver.
Murder.
I'm a murderer.
I'm a murderer.
Unaliver.
Gilbert.
Turner.
That you're correct.
30 of them last night.
How did you feel, Gil?
I feel great.
Okay.
He killed 30 people?
30.
You was happy about- On the video game?
Yeah.
That's the most of it got in one day.
And wasn't it?
Yeah.
How long it takes you to do that?
Like, how long it takes you to do that?
It was up all night?
Four five hours.
Yeah.
Like the guy that, and one was black.
He was...
The black on black, Gil?
Thund was sucking everything.
And then I didn't hear him no more.
The bullets cut that mic off.
See the next to gear.
We have NBA champion over the world.
Listen, listen, listen.
You got to get on.
No, listen, the reason you got to get on
because you get to be whatever you want to be.
Like, you don't have to be a killer.
You can be whatever you want.
But you don't know.
Like I started off as Harriet Tubman.
Yeah, you was trying to do.
Right.
Yeah, I was driving you.
No, no, no.
So, like, if you was, like, if you was black,
I just let you come in the thing.
I'll just get rid of the,
the machines for you.
So I got the big stuff, so I get rid of machines.
Come on, y'all get home safe.
And if anybody try to steal your stuff.
Then where they get you?
Huh?
Nicks robbing you.
And I start getting, yeah, yeah.
Because they realize I got big guns, they start robbing me.
Yeah, there you go.
Here you go.
Yeah, there you go.
Come on.
Everybody, come on.
Come on, get on safe, get on with your,
with your eggs and stuff.
And then I started getting body on with you.
Yeah, there you get your, yeah.
Come, get your eggs and stuff.
What is, right?
I mean, this is a basketball show.
This is a basketball show.
We got NBA champion of the world Swaggy Pete Nick Young back here with us.
To see the next to Swaggy, represent tough crowd and a car carrying country club member, Mr. B. Brandon Jennings.
On this side of the couch, we got a distinguished gentleman from Oak Cliff, former number one pick, Kenyon Martin.
What was that in there, Mike?
I got to wait for the music. And last but not least.
Appreciate you waiting.
The man, they call Cemetery Larry.
Terry Larry, NCAA champion of the world
Rashob McCask is back in the building.
It's one of those type of day.
It's NBA trade deadline Thursday, ladies and gentlemen.
We got a lot of things to get into.
Here's what's cracking in Gilles Arena today.
The Warriors finally found a market for Jonathan Camilla
with a trade to the Hawks for Christopps Porzengis.
What does this mean for both teams?
I know it means for the Warriors.
You are not getting yannis.
The purple and gold added another exciting white to the snow time Lakers.
Will the move be enough to make Gil happy?
We have Gil right here.
We will find out shortly.
And Adam Silver added Kauai Leonard to the All-Star team, but do either of the Team USA squads
have a chance against the world?
A lot of movement going on, Ant Man saying he might not play SGA.
Out of the mix for the World Squad.

Let's start in the West Coast.
So after officially requesting a trade when he became eligible on January 15th,
the Warriors were finally able to find a market to fulfill Jonathan Cominga's wish.
Let's take a look at the details of Dubs Del Cominga and Buddy Hill to the Hawks Wednesday
in exchange for Christopps Porzingis.
Warriors also sent Trace Jackson Davis
to the Raptors for a second round pick.
Caminga and Hill join a Hawk squad
fresh off trading former franchise cornerstone
Trey Young. The Atlanta has a solid Young Corps
headlined by first-time All-Star Jalen Johnson.
And they also have all defensive first team
are Dyson Daniels along with Nikiel and Alexander Walker
in 2024 number one pick.
Zaki Riesas Chay. While the Warriors get a rim-protecting big man in Porzingis.
Porzangis has appeared to only 17
games for the Hawks this season after playing
just 42 for the Celtics in 2024-25.
He's been sidelined since January 7th with left Achilles tendonitis,
but the Warriors expect to have him back on the court soon.
Gil, what's your reaction to the Warriors trading?
Jonathan Camiga, Buddy Hill, to the Hawks for Christopps Porzingis.
I mean, the fact that we could see both those guys was in a doghouse since last year.
I mean, I don't know if it started with Buddy, but, you know, when he first got there, he was bawling.
Like he was really like he was a real asset to the team and then all of a sudden
His services wasn't useful it seems like
Yeah, why did he get in a dog house?
What?
Why did he get in a dog house?
I don't know, I don't coach him.
I don't know, I'm not there
But it just seems like you're from the outside
You're playing well, win the championship with the war
You could hop on the group chat
So to finally see them guys leave and get a fresh start
especially Kaminga, going to a young team, they rebuild,
and he's of age of that core group,
so hopefully he can find a spot.
But I know just mentally for them too,
just to continue your career and once start your career,
is always a feel good, right?
Knowing I got to, we got to leave, that's cool,
but I get to play the thing I've been playing since I was a little kid.
The situation of Kerminga got very nasty
over the past several months,
leading to his contract extension with the team,
the two-year deal with the team option in the second year,
him wanting to be trade.
Warriors' here Mike Dunle-Lie Jr. saying there was no market available for the request.
But Swaggen, what do you think about John Dickmanega and Buddy Hill going to the Hawks?
Christop's Porzeng is coming over to the Golden State Warriors.
Oh, man, it's great for sure, especially just being in the corner
and being able to be free.
You ain't stressing anymore.
on my corner guys, I feel good for them.
I'm happy for them.
They go into Atlanta, they get a chance to play.
It's a chance to show the world, you know, who you are.
And for buddies, you know, and you could use his services anywhere.
So I don't understand why he get put in certain situations
because you need shooters in this type of era.
And he's one of the best shooters out.
So I'm just happy for him.
Mr. B, thoughts on the trade?
Thoughts on the trade?
I don't know what the Warriors doing.
Not getting honest.
You know, you give up two guys who can go for 30 any given night, you know.
For Caminga, he's going to a team with Quinn Snyder who was a good coach,
developed young players.
They have a good young core over there.
So, you know, he's definitely won that trade.
The Warriors getting back Prazingas.
He's only played 65 games maybe one time in the last 10 years.
So, you know, at this point, you know, I don't really know what the Warriors was really doing or thinking.
But, you know, thank God, Camilla got out of there and now he can really go to a system where they're young and, you know, the future is bright.
I'll shift over to this side of the couch to the distinguished gentleman from Oak Cliff Canyon.
What do you think about Warriors finally ending the relationship with John to Camaginia Center?
I'm over to the Hawks along with Buddy Hill for Chris Stops, Porzingis.
I'm happy for the kid, man
first and foremost to be able to
get out of
a bad situation
I'm pretty sure that
this poor Zingish trade could have been
made sooner
yeah but no it's
one thing that you took from it
like people wonder like
Buddy Hill and Jonathan
Camingo while they was in the doghouse
those are two guys who didn't defer
to Steph right
they didn't like they
we knew when Buddy touched the
you know what he was doing with it.
It was some, it was a kidding moment,
but it was some truth ended a couple years
when buddy first got there
and Steve Kerr was like, buddy,
meet Steph, the greatest shooter of all time,
like meet him like that's,
it was some joke, but it was some truth to it, right?
So he never did.
He never did defer to Steph,
and we all knew John the Comigna didn't as well.
So that's how they ended up at the end of the bench.
Yeah, that part.
They can talk about plus minus,
and this, that, and all that, when they're on the floor.
All right, cool, but this is what it is.
But, no, I'm happy for Jonathan Camilla
get to go and play it in front of up and coming.
I'm saying, the land of crowd, dope, man.
Like, they part in that joint.
So the way he plays the game of basketball,
they're going to embrace him.
Don't know how much more three buddy got on the tires,
but I'm pretty sure he wants to go out there
and continue his rise on the all-time three-point list.
So, yeah, no, it's dope, man.
It's dope for JK, man, to be able to get out of there.
So that's what's up.
Last for not least, let's move over to Cemetery, Larry Shastradamus.
Previously said, Warriors were a burning building urged Jonathan Camingo to run.
For his gun.
Move has now been made.
Camingo on the Hawks.
What are your thoughts about the Warriors' Hawks trade?
You see this flames, you see the smoke, that motherfucker's collapsing as we speak.
I told you all them Duke motherfuckers don't know what they're doing man
they just be out there just throwing shit around and getting
Kaminga out was number one priority I'm glad they did that Atlanta being able to
get some good pieces I think they got a lot of good guard play Daniels Walker
they got McCullough CJ over there but adding buddy and Kaminga on the
on the wings, still don't got that big that I think that they needed.
That could help them.
But they're going to compete.
I think that that makes them a lot more competitive with guys that can go out there
and want to play, eager to play, haven't really played.
I think that's what will make it exciting, especially comming of being able to run
and jump out there with Jalen Johnson.
I think those two are going to be a dynamic duo that we haven't seen coming.
We didn't even see them surface like this, and I think that would be good for them.
But for the Warriors, ooh, it's nasty.
Nasty.
To still have Dreyman, still have Al Horford, get Prazingas who are not playing.
To have doubled down on Brandon Prisinski to get rid of Clay Thompson,
when you guys could have still had that core round.
Man, it's a lot of nasty shit going on up there.
a lot of the fans that I speak to that I know,
they really upset.
They don't know what's going on.
They ask them for Steve Kerr to get the fuck up out of there.
So I'm fortunate, but I called it a long time ago,
so it is what it is.
Fuck them.
Fuck them as in the Golden State Warriors,
organization team,
and record level.
Yeah, they got three of the same bid.
I'm trained for Zingis.
You got quitting posts over there,
Horford and Prozingis, they're the same person.
Obviously, Horford, Prezingis won a trip with the Celtics.
It was like healthy.
Well, he'll fit with stuff though.
If he was healthy?
Yeah, that'd be a good fit.
So reports are you supposed to come back into the line of very soon?
I think that's what the words made the trip.
He never been in question if he could play or not.
Yeah, but he could hear for every.
Then with injury dealing with the mysterious illness that's been plaguing him.
Right now?
That's, I didn't play.
I didn't play this way.
I thought you said it's Achilles.
He ain't played with him.
He's been doing on.
So things going on in Portland.
He was in Atlanta like too many blacks.
Too much black.
But that was like, playing him with the Celtics during that playoff run.
Like he's been, like, so.
What's name be bawling too?
When Trey was out, now he's going to the Alexander Walk.
Walker.
Walker, yeah.
He, he's an opportunity.
He takes advantage of the opportunity.
I like him.
Play just like Shane.
So, Shaw, you talked a little bit about this.
We got a starting lineup in Atlanta.
They got like three of the same people.
They got the guild on the nails.
Dyson Day.
They lost right there.
Jaylon Johnson.
They lost right there as soon as just the first name.
What?
You're never really going to kill Alexander Walker again?
This is not 1980 nor the early 2000s where you put a defensive player who can't shoot from the outside,
who don't really put the ball in the basket, who picks up full court.
You're not winning game.
That's your sixth man.
Who are you talking about?
You know, only Atlanta does that.
That Roy Ivy.
That was his roll coming in
He starts for six minutes
And you take him out
Don't see him no more
Like that
Like he doesn't
The production
Who are you talking about?
Who?
He average is 11
Are you talking about
Like 11 or Dyson Dadey?
What was the first name?
I said to kill Alexander Walker
Dyson Dyson Dane
Just not you got
You said Dyson Daniel
Then you got ready to start
He stopped when you said Dyson Dane
You like 11% of three
So 11
11 12%
Yeah from 3
I don't know if he got
The last time he hit a 3 was probably
20, 21.
I don't know who knows.
But you got Nikolai's gonna Walker average in 24 and 40, you know Jaylon Johnson, the triple
double machine.
Yeah, Dyson is not starting, is he?
Yeah.
No, it's Walker.
No.
At the point guard?
No, what's the name?
Start?
Yeah, whatever it is.
I thought he was averaging like a dub.
I like Jaylon Johnson.
I like- They number nine in the east.
I like Walker.
I like Johnson.
I like Kaminga.
Yeah.
I like them, yeah, I like the three out there together.
They need to run.
Yeah, they need to get up there.
They need to run and shoot.
So can you ever be what?
Why they're just get up and then, yeah.
But I do like him because he's six, seven, right?
So that means he can guard the one, two, and three.
That I do like that.
He defend now.
Yeah, that's what I do like that.
You can use that.
He actually is starting at the two.
I know.
Daniel's starting at the two, which is typically.
But he's the point guard.
But you got Nikol, you got Nicol.
You got to put the arm.
But he doesn't be.
Jalen John.
Now you got McCullough.
You got McCullough coming off the bench, giving you 26.
Daniels is a defensive guy. He ain't never going to give you the offense.
That's what I see.
Risha Shay.
I mean, Risha Shay is going to move to, I don't know.
They got to get Kaminga and another shooter.
Kisper can shoot it. He'd be out there shooting it.
It'll be all right.
You got C.J. McCollum on the bench.
They got it.
They got a lot of court.
You know, it's just tweaking your lineup and then you can be good.
Yeah, they're in these.
They're in there.
I think they're forming this lineup around Jalen Johnson's ability to pass.
ability to pass and facilitate.
He's like they're going.
You got somebody who's go get a bucket and comming.
That's my guy.
All summer, just hit the jump.
Just practices.
Yeah.
Just.
We've talked about it.
Two, three thousand shots of just this.
That's it.
So you can wide open shots,
you can hit that, play your defense.
Three and D.
You're really a three and D.
Hawks currently ninth in the east,
25 and 27 and won five of their last seven games,
though.
It's the Easter conference.
This helps.
Now,
again,
they're getting, where they at now?
Ninth.
Oh, yeah, they'll get a knife.
They're at night, and they'll get that.
Can they get a higher night?
Not right away.
Okay, yeah.
They get a higher version of nine.
Two games away from the seven seat.
Eight.
Nah, hey, hey, hey.
Eight to nine.
No, no, we do this every episode.
Yeah, we do.
We'll talk some hoot.
We'll talk some hoot.
We're not going to do the hypotheticals.
Hey, if they can go on a little street.
They're nine with what they got.
They're nine with what they got, though.
still
they're nine
with what they got
McCullough
with McCullough
Dyson
and Nogesna Kiel
and Jalen Johnson
But Orlando is in the eighth
Exactly
They're not better than
Orlando
And Orlando playing
Cravely
He is in the seventh
He works to both of them team
They're all playing
They're playing better
And they miss Trey out there
He's got a coacher though
That's the only thing
And they miss Trey's all again
Most of them wins
Without Trey Young
And then you've gotten better
since you got rid of Trey I think
And you got some impact players coming in that can help you get it.
Look, you got, I don't know.
The Raptors at six.
I like CJ over there.
Five games, yeah, but for sure.
They can win.
They can win.
But I don't, on these five.
Yeah, playing is probably seven.
What's their record now?
They'll be in 25 and 27.
And the Raptors are 30 and 22.
Yeah.
Let me say, they have enough to get into playing.
Because they would, they'd be like the Toronto kind.
To get the play in, they eight nine.
They got 30 games left.
They can, they can, they can,
They're getting shit.
Of them 30.
Seven minutes for the trade deadline of fish.
Is Atlanta.
Yeah, I think they're...
A fine city, you know.
Like you said, they need to get up and down the floor, run, man, defend, have fun, get up and make teams, play with them.
Compete.
Yeah, just go out.
Just get up and down the floor.
It'll be all right.
No, but it is.
They can be like a mini Toronto like that line?
Yeah, yeah.
That's what I'm saying.
They get six, seven.
Compete there, six, seven.
Shifts to the Warriors side, we talked a little bit,
but how much does Porzengis move the needle for the Warriors in the Western Conference?
You played 65 games in the last 10 years, one time.
So, I mean, there's your answer.
Jimmy Butler, obviously, down.
Yeah, he's too hard.
They didn't make this move to change shit.
They didn't make this move to get this dude out of there.
Yeah.
That wouldn't a game changer move.
Warriors were trying to be aggressive in the Yonish trade talks.
reportedly the bucks told him no thank you.
We don't want that shit.
I mean they tank,
I mean shit, they tank
Kamika's value.
We got these kids and it was like
Yeah.
I mean you take the
What we're gonna do him?
I heard of trash.
All right.
Then you take Kamega's value.
Well,
speaking of Drayman,
obviously the Kaminga trade single
the unofficial end of the words
pursuit for Janice with reports the bucks were not rolling with that Warriors trade
package which likely would have included Dreymond Green.
Green was the subject of trade deadline rumors for the first time in his 13 plus seasons
with Golden State.
Dre was asked about being a potential trade candidate after the Warriors win over the Sixers
Tuesday had this to say.
What do I have to sit and worry about?
What do I have to like be upset about?
Like I've been here for 13 and a half years.
That's longer than probably 98% of NBA players have been in one place.
And this guy from Saginaw has been in a place for 13 and a half years.
I don't know that it ends at 13 and a half, but if it does, what a fucking run has been.
So I understand Dreymont's perspective, potentially getting traded in his 14th season with the Warriors.
It was emotional.
Obviously, Steve Kurt said it was a tough situation where all he understood what was going on.
actually ended up staying on the roster with five minutes remaining in this trade deadline.
What's your question?
I'll close the laptop.
I mean, you looked at us like we were supposed to select it, like, yeah.
Okay.
You know the trade deadline is a tough time for players.
Some of you guys' practical joke, we talked about it.
Look, I mean, I can tell you this.
Is he a free agent?
After what?
I think he's at one more year on his deal from number six.
Okay, so he would try to ask for a buyout
so he can go back to Golden State to finish his career
and play with them.
You know, but you presented the deal
to see if the bucks jumped for it.
Actually, there's a player option this summer, so.
Yeah, so he would opt out and went back.
Okay, yeah.
He'd have opted out and went back
to win that championship.
What championship?
No.
What championship?
If they were to trade to them to get Janus, he would have opted out of that deal and went back and signed.
Look, I mean, there's just some deals you just, when we're talking about this loyalty,
and then there's just shit you can't pass up.
If I can try to win another championship within the next two, three years,
and I have Steph still playing away years, and then I have a chance to get Janus,
and I'm looking at the four people I have,
Janus himself combined does exactly what they all do.
If you add up all their stats, Janus.
Bring him over and then filling the roster like that.
Hey, you got to try it.
That's just a deal you got to try it.
If they get their feelings hurt, they get their feelings hurt.
So we were talking about the business side of all this, right?
So as players, how do you deal with that notion?
Trade deadline comes around.
got players in the locker room who may be on the trading block.
I don't know.
When I got traded, I knew I was getting traded.
I was gone.
You got my check.
Yeah, I see what Camiga was doing.
He was probably at home when he did.
When I found out I was getting traded, I was in Orlando in their building shooting.
Just getting rid of me.
It was before they traded.
Yeah, I was before.
How did you know you was going there before the season, though?
They talked to you during the season?
When they suspended me for no damn reason,
I told them what y'all going to do
is put me in see if I get my money back.
And I only trust one person.
And he's in their land, though.
How do you feel when you got traded?
I just like the fact that they told me.
They asked which one I want to go to.
I thought that was cool.
I thought that was cool.
And I picked the clippers
because I think there's going to be a lot of shots with, you know,
Cov, either the Lakers or Clippers.
Oh, so it was either one?
Yeah.
And I picked the Clippers.
It's kind of dumb move, but I end up going back to the Lakers eventually, so it worked out.
What year was that?
You didn't win the championship?
No, when we went to the playoffs with the Clippers.
And they got, they got, they got, they got, the championship.
Yeah.
Lockout.
Like out.
Okay, okay, okay.
It's when they got, I forgot to do, man.
Yeah.
The mic out of you.
Keep this thing moving.
But it's a tough time.
It's a good.
It is a dead is.
I mean, for something, it looks stressful.
You know, in the locker room,
motherfuckers sitting there.
But you got to think about it.
Like, you keep getting your name called.
Like, you possibly getting traded.
And as stressful as a commingo was,
Dremont,
Jimmy Butler,
and what's the name was sticking the same thing?
Like,
Because if you want Kaminga, they might throw our contract in there.
Right?
We possibly can wake up and we're getting that text message sitting there like two, three in the morning.
Yeah, you've been traded.
Don't, you know what I mean?
That's, you know what I mean?
So it's not like I've seen players talking about, yeah, I hope they trade me to a better place.
Not a better place.
And then they got their ass traded, madden them up.
Oh, really?
Hell yeah.
Hell yeah.
Shit different, man.
That ain't going to lie that.
As a human being who didn't get traded to a better place, what is that feeling like?
Especially when you want to be traded, right?
You want to be traded.
What he's just saying?
Oh, I don't know.
What he just saying?
When you want to be traded, but then I got the call, like, we couldn't get nothing done, right?
Like, I think it was like, what's the day, what's the time is it right now?
I don't think I got the call the day before we played in Miami and then we flew home
when the deadline was that next day.
and he called me
before the game
we couldn't get nothing done
but I had just partied
like I was about to get traded
like a motherfucker
we in Miami
so I knew I wasn't going to play
I was 14 DMPs already
I'm like yeah okay cool
I'm gonna go start fresh
he said you might
yeah we couldn't get nothing done
boy I swear I felt like I got shot
with a shotgun in my stomach
well I was like
nah I got a whole other 30 more games
of this shit
oh that was it was painful
but then I woke up in this morning
you're going to say
sack, I was like, Sack, it's over.
There's something, goddamn fuck it.
Let's get the fuck out of here.
But that's the only stress is if you get stuck where you at and you don't want to be there.
That's the stress.
Yeah.
Trust.
That's the stress.
So look at a situation like Jaws, not to say he don't want to be in Memphis, I think he said, you know, he's loyal to the grizzly.
He wants to stay there.
But you're hearing your name mentioning all these trade rumors, and it seems like the conventional
logic is that teams weren't willing to give up enough to the Grizzlies for them to want to trade you.
You just lost Jerry Jackson, Jr.
Bang on.
You know, your crew is gone.
And now you got to go back to the squad
or finish the season.
No, he don't.
He did leave us.
No, he don't.
Hey, y'all.
He knows how to miss games.
Trust, hey, my game for sure.
He's proving it.
I don't think he played for the grill.
I think it's done for the season, man.
Why don't?
What's the point?
Play.
Because you love to play.
I love to play the game.
It ain't his choice.
I know we want to think it's his choice, but it's not his choice, ultimately.
To play?
Yeah.
If the team tell you, we're going to sit you.
We're going to sit you.
That's all I'm saying.
If they tell them they're going to sit him, they're going to sit him.
You know when the team off here, they off him right now.
When they get to deal with him?
Do they trade them?
If the asking price is not right, no.
They wait.
No.
So, okay, I think they should, but...
When you look at their contracts, right?
Do we know what the problem is on there?
You have...
I think they're asking price.
Yeah, you have...
See, the problem is you have Jaws' superstar
that because he got in trouble
and they paid him, he don't make the much...
He don't make that much money, right?
He's not Supermax.
So they want Supermax player back,
but he doesn't have the Supermax tag on them.
Right?
So the things they're getting back,
they're like, no, we don't want this.
but
financially
your supermax guy
is not on a supermax
the deal you gave Desmond
Bain gone. Yes.
Right? You're about to come off that money.
That deal you gave Jaron,
right?
So
if Joss stays,
you can actually make
better moves
with all that money.
You have 13 first round picks in the next seven years.
So you can package some good shit to bring over players.
Like you can sit there, like, you can sit there and say, all right, Clippers,
Clippers, we want Kauai.
Y'all need picks.
Right?
There's things you can do now because you have, I think they made,
they just made bad deals with two of their players who was the second and third option,
who was getting paid second and third option, but wasn't really.
But did they make good deals in trading them and getting.
No, no, they got all of them.
They got their picks, right?
When they paid Desmond Bayne, I don't think Jaya got in trouble.
Yeah, right?
So they wasn't betting on Jai getting in trouble, so Desmond Bain was first going to get paid because Jai was still, so it was going to be in line.
No, he got in, he got in.
No, not when he got paid.
Oh, when he got paid.
They were like one or two.
Yeah, when he got paid.
What year's job right now?
Seven?
Year seven.
What year was AI when they got off AI in Philly?
11?
11.
10.
11.
Yeah.
Yeah, he came in at 096.
Yeah.
And he got out.
That was 06, 07.
07.
07.
06-07.
06-0-7.
0-6-0-6.
0.
0-6.
0-6.
0-6.
So with Jai, you're looking at, they've already made the beginning steps.
His 11.
Yeah.
They're making the beginning steps of getting off of this asset.
If you look at the things that they built their core round for the last seven years,
with Joddair, the runs that they was trying to make with that little cord, Bane, Jaron
Jackson, to get rid of them to us saying, all right, and you are disgruntled with what we're
doing with the coach and you've had public disputes.
We just got 12, 13, how many draft 15?
13.
We just got a bunch of shit that can clear room to restart this whole thing.
I've got a plan, right.
And we got some young kids coming in to this draft this year.
That's like we can make some shit.
And we got Zach Eady and Cedric.
And we got some pieces that's there already that we can build around
and we can bring some guys to be competitive.
I think the league is becoming more young-minded, competitive.
I don't think it's a lot of star-centric shit
except for smaller teams as far as Dallas.
The teams that are going to get the major super-megas star potential players.
It ain't going to be a lot of those teams.
It's going to be a lot of the Indiana OKC teams
that are going to be scrappy, going to play hard,
and you're just going to have to figure out
how to beat these young teams.
They just got good talent on the teams.
I think this is going to be one of them teams.
Memphis is going to have to go back to the grinding grit
where they're not going to find, build around those superstar
because it's proven not to work.
Are they messing up his value, though?
Who?
Ja.
He's messing up on his own, but they're messing up.
They're asking for, but don't you play them to bring his value up, though?
Can't his skill set is what it is.
And nobody questioning his ability.
His ability, the reason he ain't traded.
That ain't the reason.
There's no such thing that's messing up their value.
They're missing their own value.
I want you get back.
If I want to sell this car, if I want to sell this car and I want the most money,
I'm not going to dent it.
I'm not going to sit there and break it up and sit there and do this and then ask for Max Price.
But I'm going to clean it up, clean the wheels, change the shit, and then present it like that.
But they're not doing that, that's what I'm saying.
That's that fault.
And then they wonder why he's always been his off.
I know.
That's always been back.
The shit they get.
But that's what I'm saying, though, but like what happens when you try to start the car?
When you try to start.
He don't want to play like that.
So he's looking bad.
He's not starting up.
He's trying to start this thing.
Yes, that's what I'm seeing that too.
Yeah, I'm seeing that too.
You're trying to start this motherfucker.
Yeah. Brooklyn just wave cam, thomas.
Oh, shit.
They was bitching that, man.
When they waved it.
Yeah, I've seen that.
I've seen that part.
Damn.
And corners like, shit.
And when you're trying to start this motherfucker, it look good.
You're like, what's wrong with the alternator.
God, the car.
Yeah.
That's what we need.
So, like, how you just said,
that's what we can.
Sean's reporting just a minute ago.
Nets are waving Cam Thomas.
That's what we need.
Allowing him to interfree agency.
Which Cam Thomas?
Who you think?
Brooklyn.
Brooklyn.
Cam Thomas, the 26th.
The score.
A.R.
little AR.
Lill A.R.
Ain't shit funny, Cam Thomas.
Like, 23.
Yes.
Waved him.
But they was bench.
Cam average 16 and three assists this season.
He only gave him 14 games.
Which one?
They only gave him 18 minutes.
That's like 18.
Wait, what?
What?
Cam Thomas?
16.
He did average.
That Lash. He's capable.
They broke him off the bench this year.
Milwaukee Geree.
So Cam Thomas, last season, Gil, just because you wanted 24-4-assist, three rebounds.
Same person.
25 games last season.
This season.
Maw-Fleger Michael Porter.
You got to do the minutes.
He's going to.
I know.
Yeah, I'm going to mess them up.
Playing 24 minutes a game average is 16.
Hey, his release ain't quick enough.
Michael Porter, like, ah, he ain't fast enough.
You shoot 40% from the field.
That 24 minutes are?
He shooting 40% in the field?
You're 40% from the field just isn't.
But in everything we got.
No, no.
You remember I told you that?
I said, the value, the way he plays don't look good.
And that's why I said, that's why he didn't get the money last year.
And he's not going to get, he wasn't going to get the money this year.
Like, you're 24, it looks, it looks like a, it looks like a very selfish 24.
So the point that nobody wants.
Wait, wait.
Yes, it does.
That's what I was telling.
telling you, you can argue all you want.
They just cut the man.
Yeah, it do.
So it shouldn't be your argument.
Yeah, it do.
It shouldn't be your argument.
But yeah, it's different, though.
It's different.
They can cut him not because they sell,
because they don't want to fucking pay it.
It was not that.
You've never heard, whoa.
What in what life have you ever heard of an asset
that they don't want to pay, they cut?
They say, go be free.
So what I have a lot of assets.
A lot of asses.
Like a boy.
It looks like right now.
22, 24.
That means you are a guaranteed bucket.
Yeah.
And instead, we're good.
Making $6 million this year.
Remember, he plays the same, like, Norman Powell.
Like, Cam Thomas is one of those guys that you just put him on the right team.
He can make an all-star how he plays the game.
But how he plays the game looks bad if you're trying to have a team.
That's the same thing you just said.
No, but it's Brooklyn.
If he's Norman Powell, nigger, what's like a Porto
look like right now?
Yeah, it looks the same way.
He's shaped the same way.
He's shaped that thing.
They play the same game.
It doesn't matter.
It doesn't look no matter.
On a good team,
and that's the difference, it's Brooklyn.
It's the difference.
On a good team with a good superstar.
That 24 will look.
He makes everybody look better, so he's being selfish is cool.
If you are the main guy being selfish,
and you're not getting the rest of the team involved,
you stand out.
Like Michael Porter Jr.
Over there.
Michael Porter Jr., not passing the nobody.
You know what the difference is?
It looked bad.
He played on another team that everybody's already seen his value.
And that looked good, right?
And it looks good.
Cam Thomas ain't had that.
But what I'm saying,
what he says, Michael Porter Jr. came over here at that same,
it doesn't look good.
It ain't a box.
It's free.
No, you put him in a box.
No, it's free.
You know what else Michael Porter got?
It's free.
A ring.
Hit the thing.
The ring.
Thank you, but.
Norman Powell playing with the Clippers.
He's playing next to guys who can play.
So it looks like you just getting yours when you can get it.
I can get mine when I can get it.
Cam Tom has been on a young team.
Nobody, they're taking it.
They trash as fuck.
I got to go show y'all I can get mine.
Not that I'm selfish that I'm just trying.
This is what we've done in the league.
In the league.
We do it.
This is what we've done.
Young players have always trying to prove themselves in their first two,
three years of the league because you don't know what the fuck's going to
happen.
True.
If Cooper Flag is not getting 20 shots a game right now, 24, he's the only rookie that
can really go out there and do whatever he wants right now.
If he's not, we're always going to be looking at him as, he's a solid player, he good,
because he's playing next to Kari, he's playing next to AD.
If he had his own team, what would we be able to see?
What we're seeing right now, right?
So you look at guys like Cam Thomas, he was getting 24, he was getting 22, now they
want to move off of them because they didn't move off they let him go they just drop it that's moving
off of it you're moving off of them because we don't want to be able to have to pay or leverage
guys not wanting him based on the tag that he got thank you thank you what he wants this money
what does he get this sum I know but what tag of money does he have on him no you're looking
that the giddy the grind he don't have that all that he don't have that tag listen that's what
he was going to be asking for that was what you were
Right, no.
So he knows what his evaluation is, though.
His evaluation is compared to the guys.
No, your evaluation is what you got.
Right?
No, it's not.
It's based on your numbers.
You ask for 100 and you get 20.
Your numbers.
That's why he was thinking 100.
That's why he was thinking that.
My numbers are this.
I could get what he gets, he gets, he gets.
Let's wait and see who gets it first.
Okay.
Get he got it first.
Right.
All right, he's like, I know I'm going to get it.
get this. Coming into this year,
what they do, devalued him.
They devalued him.
So now it's like 16, 824.
Now he's not playing as selfish as he was last year.
So now he's trying to do the right thing.
He's trying to do the right thing and his numbers get down.
I got to do this.
Now it looks nasty.
He had a hamstring, he suffered a hamstring injury in the eighth game.
And he made a six.
But his numbers have dropped.
24 shots, 25 shots, 2019, 24.
I mean, then he got hurt and had.
two shots.
So the problem is this.
20 shots is 20 shots, right?
Yeah.
All 20 shots don't look the same.
If I get the rebound and I have a man up court and I'm supposed to pass the ball and it goes and I get the ball and do my, that doesn't look selfish.
I get the ball up court and that man's down there and I dribble through here and dribble through there and then wave this man off and get the one-on-one and see.
shoot that shot that don't look good.
It don't look good.
It don't look good when you're putting on a good team.
It looks cool when you're playing on Brooklyn.
He just talks about A.R.
doing the same shit.
We just talking about A.R.
shooting a bad shot.
Hey, he's talking about giving him $200.
The mellow can, listen, lamello ball can do that.
God.
The mellow ball can get the rebound, motherfucker.
Dropping that motherfucker off 42 times.
Boom, boom, boom.
One lead step back behind in front of his bench.
That shit can hit the side of the side of the.
backboard, ain't nobody going to say shit.
So we're picking shoes.
No, it's not picking shoes.
Yes, it is.
But why don't know?
Because he's average is 24
doing the same thing.
He's going 24 a game.
You're talking about Karen.
He's hitting these sides.
Why can't Lemello do that?
Because he average, he's leading the league and assists.
You see the difference?
So that's what he's saying, yeah.
Like, he'll come down one time.
I've been trying to tell you.
And La Mello is a point guard.
Yeah, I just can.
A shooting guard.
He's a shooting guard.
He's an assassin.
I'm a higher gun.
I come in here to do this, and he has told y'all this since he was in LSU.
This is what I do.
And guess what I got him do, Shah?
Cut.
But he did have-
business got it cut.
Business got his cut.
His game didn't get him cut.
No, that's it.
Business got a game.
Because Norman Powell played the same way.
No, he don't.
You just said it.
You just said Norman Powell played the same way.
Don't testify now.
You just said Norman Powell played the same way.
I didn't say he played a same way.
Come on, man.
rewind.
bro.
What are we talking about?
You just said Norman Powell
played the same way.
So if they play the same way,
he played with these niggas,
he did great.
He went here.
He's doing great.
He's an all-star now.
What the way?
I always listen to him.
I always listen to him.
I always listen to you.
He played on what?
You talk about nothing.
He played on what?
He played on what?
He had his.
I can yell.
I'll let you go.
I'll let you go.
I can yell too.
Let's stick together,
all right?
just the trade deal.
Let him go.
Go.
Talk.
You're able to tell me.
Talk.
You're almost kids.
Talk.
Norman Powell played with better players before, so we understand the concept of team.
Quick shots.
You can understand the concept of team.
He played with James.
He played with Kawai.
Concept of when I catch it.
I don't know.
He's got a champion.
And I catch it.
I shoot it.
I think so.
So therefore, no, but he's been on a better team so he understands the concept of team.
Play the UCLA.
He plays on the country.
Norman Powell understands the concept of team.
I can't say that about Cam Thomas
so that's the difference
I think that's not when I came
we all have basketball I know
I don't understand why we
we don't have basketball I know
I know we know when you're a higher gun
yes yeah they put leg and he'll a higher gun
Jay R. Smith a higher gun
I can't hear you do this
and I do have a concept of team
I do know but my responsibility
can you pass me the ball
is not to look for you
to shoot the ball
Does J.R. Smith know how to play basketball?
Cam, Tom, is no time to play basketball.
Cam Tom is better than Jerry.
24 a game.
24 a game.
24 a game.
That's right.
And we just got to win.
Let's find a way to move around it, though.
Let's find a way to move around.
That's what you want to do.
We want to talk about the business.
We're talking about the bend is a devalue with a guy who's not wanting to pay him.
No, it's not.
I don't have to.
Why do you think they didn't want to pay him?
Why do you think they didn't want to pay him?
then.
They want somebody else.
They want somebody else.
Hold on,
whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Hold on, Rash.
Keep catching that dumb shit.
Hold on, man.
If they wanted to pay somebody else, right,
why did they bring him back?
What you mean, bring him back?
He was a free agent last summer?
Goof.
Was he?
Joe?
Yeah, you don't know that?
Was he?
Like, we don't know later?
You just be talking about,
they didn't have to go anything with him.
Let's see, let's see.
If he was restricted or unrestricted.
Just say if he was restricted,
they could have bought him back for more money.
They gave him $6 million.
If he was unrestricted, they could have let him walk.
They didn't.
Okay.
So them devaluing him means nothing.
Because they didn't.
So why would they bring him back if they're going to let him go right now?
Restricted for your agency.
It was restricted right?
What was his number?
I bet.
It was a qualifying officer.
He signed a question.
So why would they do that?
Why would they do that if they didn't have to?
Why did they?
Because they didn't have to give him more.
So why did they do it if they didn't want them?
They're going to let him go now.
They didn't have to give him more money.
They didn't have to give him more money.
Because his qualifying offer because he was under contract.
He was restricted free agent.
So restricted free agent, he was allowed to go see what was out there in the market.
There was no market.
Go see out there.
What did you get back?
You're under, you're still under a certain number here.
So what happens when you go see the market?
I'm in here.
I'm a man.
I'm a man.
Hey, Brooklyn, I want to go see the market.
You better not go out there and see the fucking market.
You better take what the fuck I give.
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey,
when I come back, when I come back with this $6 million that I just signed for,
guess what we can do?
Yeah, what?
Devalued you, nigga.
We can take you from 24 to 16, nigga.
No, you can make your numbers look way.
They ain't worth any bucks.
You're worse than $6 million.
Wait, wait, wait, hold on, hold on.
What the fuck are you talking about that.
You're a strict.
Oh, my God, bro.
They don't offer.
Let's talk real basketball.
Okay.
You go out, we're saying we don't know your value.
Go test the market.
Because whatever you get, we can match.
So if you think you're worth 15, 20 million, go out there.
If you get it, we'll match it.
Okay.
Right?
He went out there with his 24 points a game.
He went to every team.
Guess what he got back?
Nothing.
Nobody wanted it.
So he was forced.
He was forced to sign back there.
With that deal, you remember Phoenix Suns, right, Aiden, we're not, we don't know, we're not going to offer you nothing.
Go out there see what you get.
They got offered.
They matched it.
Ours.
So, this has nothing to do with Brooklyn.
He went out there, he got zero.
They had the same exact ordeal, thinking the same way.
Quinn Grimes didn't just get let go.
It's a valuable piece we can use them.
He didn't get let go, right?
They talk bad about you.
When you have value and you go see the market, the teams don't like that shit.
Why not?
They talk.
I believe Quinn.
Because they want to be the ones to pay you.
Quentin Grimes also did the qualifying offer deal, but both of them now will be unrestricted
to free agents this summer.
So they can actually find the team.
Like they could last year.
But them waving Cam Thomas at this point.
Makes him available now.
Take your bread and dip.
I was signing $4 million.
Yeah.
I did there.
I'm saying you there.
For the legal.
I was Campto.
You're talking about $20.
I'll throw race a money down,
but listen, it got to be.
$24 million.
You're talking about a hundred.
You're talking about it.
I was Camphine.
Did the Warriors just devalue Justin Cominga?
I was Camilla.
Nope.
No?
No.
Oh, my God.
He wanted that.
This is what we're going for the sake of argument.
Come on.
They got traded to a place.
Just agreed just because.
Hold on.
He got traded to a place.
That's better.
No.
What they devaluing him?
Okay.
So, we keep talking about other people.
Can you keep the conversation on Cam Tom.
Now, can you tell.
As much as they devalued Kaminga,
you just said they didn't.
Okay.
What did Kaminga get paid for a team that don't like him?
What was about $2,000 or $48 million?
How much?
Two year or about $48 million.
So he got paid $24 million a year.
But with the team option for the same.
And nobody offered him, listen, nobody offered him nothing.
And they said it, you know what, we'll give you $48 million for two years.
years, none of them got offered nothing.
Caminga came back at two year 48 million.
The Golden State War.
The other two, whoever is just 24 points a game.
They're not to Brooklyn.
Got nothing.
That means, that means what you guys have a problem with?
You guys can't read the room.
The room is you probably have a bad attitude awful.
I was going to say that.
I was going to say that.
Because I was going to say,
Camiga got a bad attitude.
No, you're not saying that.
No.
You know how bad, Nick, he does it.
I'm already, I said,
Prince Paul got a bad attitude too.
Why are you bringing other people?
They got crazy.
They got moved out of the way, right?
Now, not, now, now, don't think about this.
Damn, we got a bad attitude now.
Now, you just labeling narratives on the nigger.
That's what it is.
That's insane.
That's right there.
That's not even a young niggas.
That's what it is.
You don't even know them.
That has to be it.
That has to be it.
That has to be labeled.
Why can't Brooklyn just be a shit show?
Yeah, how come, why can't Brooklyn just be a sick show?
When have they ever made real good moves?
Can I ask you a question?
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Why do you put it on K.m.
Let me ask you a question.
It sounds personal.
Sounds like that shit.
I just want to ask logic.
I want to ask logic.
You have it's 22 one year, 24 the next year.
You come back, you're bawling, you get hurt.
And then.
I can keep benching you for the rest of the season,
but I say I don't want you on this team no more.
Now, you tell me what you think that's over.
If I'm bawling and I get hurt.
Yeah, you get hurt.
You get hurt.
We suck.
And you tell me you don't want me on the team.
Yeah, because I cut you.
That sounds like a personal issue.
Yeah.
Why?
Why?
Because you don't like that I'm bawling.
No.
No, no.
No.
We don't want to tell you.
I'm not what y'all want me to say.
Oh, you know, don't know.
Hey,
Hey,
every episode of a word,
every episode we had,
you know what
Cam Thomas to be the story of the team?
Read it.
You know,
Mom,
Tom is a story of the
loss art.
Why?
I'm believing that.
I'm believing that.
Read in the room
is a fucking lost art.
So, definitely.
I hear you, Nick.
That's what it's.
Just say everything that you're
but then you got to ask yourself
why.
You said they don't want to be the starter
team.
You don't got to start.
Why?
You don't got to start.
They don't know
who they want to be a star.
They don't know what the fucking they're doing.
So your playoff.
Let me ask you this.
So if he comes out, so him, him averaging 24 last year, right?
Was he the number one option on the team?
Everybody average 24 to go that down there.
Mike Porter, Jr. doing the same thing.
Broder was average the damn bad.
Was he the number one option?
Hey man, that's Brooklyn, bro.
Was Cam Thompson the number one option?
I can't believe y'all defending this.
Right?
Right.
I can't believe y'all defending this.
He played, man.
He's the one.
We're talking logic.
Logic.
We're talking logic.
It's called reading the world.
Boom, dog, that's all it is.
And it sounds like it's personal.
Yeah.
Y'all talk logic now.
Yeah, yeah, we are.
All of a sudden, out of three seasons, y'all are going to start talking logic now.
Oh, you know what logic is?
You know, the logical.
Welcome to the logic show.
Hey, yo, that shit sounds personal.
It sounds like it fit the shoe.
Yes.
Of others.
It's just logic.
No, no.
I was there.
No, that's why I've never seen.
You got a bad attitude.
But I got the same.
But I got the same attitude.
But you never had a bad attitude.
Nick, stop.
They got the same.
Gio.
But I was trying to get paid.
But I sat out.
They ran in a bag, you, you need.
They ran a big.
Sit out.
Sit out.
Sit out.
They made me come back.
And then they traded me to the clippers that same season.
That's the same shit.
Now, you got traded, right?
He got cut.
Right.
You never got cut.
You didn't get cut, though.
So you don't think the.
Oh, no.
They know.
I traded you.
I traded you.
Why I can't get the same.
I'm saying.
And I made more there.
And guess what?
I traded you.
I traded you to at least get back something.
They just said we good.
I don't want nothing.
You know what?
So you see the difference?
You've never in the history of this game.
Never.
And I want to, because I know you want to talk.
Please just tell me your name.
That's crazy.
Average 22, 24.
And then the very next year on a $9 million contract,
a $6 million dollar contract averaging 15 points.
get waved
get your shit
young fellow
we wish you
God damn what I got to do
we're getting mad
I'm asking
I'm asking
I'm just saying
when have you
I would have that attitude too
like what I got to do
seen and heard
what I got to
have a player of this caliber
get waived
so do you think
we just say here
what's trying to
Nick
do you think
the market
does it feels like
it's hard to score
winning in the league
I'm asking
you know I'm asking
you know I'm going to
so Nick
Nick, let me ask you a question.
Let me ask you question.
Do you or do you not think they try to trade him?
I'm not not.
All right.
You've been getting body.
You've been getting body for three years.
You've been getting body for three years.
Pull out that.
You've been getting body for three years.
You know, when you got a label, it's hard to trade him up with labels.
Say it again.
Like J.R.
Yeah.
It's hard.
So according to the reports, the bucks and cabs,
interested in looking to try to make a move for Cam Thomas.
Move is not done by the trade line.
Cam, waved by the Nets.
So they tried to move them.
Yes.
They didn't.
And then they said, you can go somewhere.
Or wherever you want to go.
Think about that.
I'm trying to trade you to get the crazy.
I've never heard.
I'm trying to try to get some access back.
Now we're going to overhype that this nigga.
I've never heard nobody at 20.
Give us.
Give us Thomas.
Give us a Tammis.
Give me somebody.
Give me somebody.
Are you a news reporter or is these your
I ain't no news report.
It's a critic.
It's a feeling.
I'm a feeling.
I'm a crazy.
I'm a pretty.
I'm a critic.
Who did it, Michelle?
I don't know.
I ain't did the research.
I do it for property research.
I try to trade for you.
I try to trade and we didn't get a trade.
I say, well, fuck it.
After the deadline, go.
But we're doing what they want.
The teams I was talking to?
We're doing what they're doing what they.
They can have you for free.
Well, Brooklyn won't everybody to think we have the bad.
attitude he's not cooking, but he's a bad
player. That's what y'all, y'all
label this, nigga, damn. Right now.
He's hearing this shit. Everybody see this.
Bro, think about
he asked him. He actually came on.
You don't have an attitude problem.
Very gracious.
Come back on the show to tell them,
I never had a fucking, I never had a fucking
he's not biased.
Think about what we're saying.
Listen, I'm trying to
I'm trying to make a trade with him.
Okay.
We don't come to agreement.
I say, fuck it, you can have it.
I don't want it no more.
No, Cuffield.
Are you listening?
Are you looking at this?
That means he also, but that means he wanted something.
We didn't come to an agreement.
And I say, yeah, you can go where you want.
Could that they put it.
So basically, fuck the trade.
Just take them.
But look, we don't even want what you got.
Could Cam Thomas be on some guilt shit, number nine?
I don't want to be here, trade?
Yeah.
And they don't want to deal with that shit?
And guess what?
He was going to try. He's balling out three years in a row.
What he said?
What they're supposed to have a difference.
Wait, hold on.
There's no, no, they're not having with John Wall.
What happened with John Wall?
What happened?
He said something that shuts him up.
Okay, we're going to just skip over John Ball.
What did you just say?
Then we ain't taking no question.
Hold on no, no, you have no, take no question.
What did you just say about me?
Right.
Good, good, good, good, good, good.
Good, good, good.
Right, that was on something.
I don't want to be here.
After you treat me like shit, so how has that?
Is that considered a bad attitude?
No.
No.
If you get treated a certain way, you're gonna just keep getting your ass kick?
But you don't want to be here.
So did I have a bad attitude because I was there?
No, you didn't want to be there.
So did I have a bad attitude while I was there?
No, I liked you.
All right.
So you don't say what he wants you to say, he's going to get out of state.
You gotta say what he's saying.
What he's saying is the goal.
What he's saying is real.
What he is the right thing.
The fuck out of here.
I had a bad attitude.
So you could.
I had a bad attitude while I was there.
Guess what?
Just the same way.
It was a better attitude.
No, but guess what?
What did you have in your resume leading up to the bad attitude?
Max?
Three on NBA teams.
So you can listen.
You can show up for a number nine bad fucking attitude if you fucking four.
Like what it is at that.
Marcus Cousers, it's the same shit.
Now, on my match.
What a lot.
Now imagine, imagine the thing that they would just cut me.
Hey, man.
They don't get back the pieces that they want.
This was last year, he'll be an all-star.
Who?
He just had motherfuckers.
He can be an all-star just like all the ones.
All right.
Well, let's keep this thing moving.
Why are you always talking he could?
Yeah.
Because y'all always talk about if, y'all don't know.
Y'all talk hypotheticals.
Right?
No, we got to have.
He got to have a bad.
He got to say.
He got a attitude.
Y'all niggas can talk loud and get loud and then it ain't a
We didn't talk about it.
We don't take it.
We don't take it across this, though.
Come you to fuck out of him with this shit, man.
Can you tell me what happened?
With Camp Thomas?
Yes, what happened?
Cam Thomas waived by the Brooklyn next.
Waved.
Not he can possibly get waived or he might get waived.
What happened?
He was waived by the Brooklyn.
He was gone.
He's gone.
So he's not there no more.
So if we watched the game, the next game, he wouldn't be on the team?
That would be my interpretation.
That's not an if, with, or nothing, right?
That just happened.
Why did it happen?
Because he's a black man in America.
Yeah.
Because they didn't want him.
I know it wasn't because of his attitude.
Because they didn't want him no more.
It just creep up and say attitude.
They didn't want him no more.
Somebody said that out of the blue, right?
Somebody randomly said, if it's just attitude.
They didn't want him no more.
The fuck out of him.
Maybe they just didn't want him anymore.
What guess what's got to be his attitude?
What guess was not a speculation?
Guess what's not a speculation?
His basketball.
The fact that they wait.
The Brooklyn is a trash.
People.
That's not a speculation.
That shit is a...
All right.
Let's keep this thing moving.
Talk about other, more positive.
All the time.
Okay.
Everybody that came to the women to ask for a job.
That's not sure.
You know what that means?
I don't want it no more.
Okay?
I take them.
So who are the going to get it?
Get it.
That was the worst analogy I ever seen in my life.
All right.
What the fuck is that.
I see what y'all made.
No, I take them.
The wizard.
Then that to you?
His examples are trashed.
We don't want to get cut, though.
We don't want to.
He got to you, too, though.
Huh?
I got traded.
What I got?
In Wizards.
You got traded.
Shoalusless Gilbert Arena.
I'm saying.
All, let's get it.
I've never seen it.
I've never seen that before.
I got labeled, though.
That's what I'm saying.
What you get labeled at?
Krista, don't touch the shoes.
Imagine.
Imagine.
Don't touch the shoes.
25.
Gabe Vincent got traded.
Hey, can you put them by my backpack.
You know,
and Gil were the same.
Gabe Vincent got traded.
Just so we know, Gabe Vincent got traded.
That means someone found like, we got Gabe, give us a piece back.
Well, speaking of that gay Vincent trade, Gil, speaking about, we got like, we got a piece back more.
Like, we could cut the legists, we can cut everybody of, Gabe could have got cut.
Nobody would have said shit.
We got something, we got somebody, you want Gabe?
They're like, yeah, shit.
We'll get him.
We got him.
Speaking of Gabe business.
We take it.
We take him.
I just want to keep this.
waiting for Robling and the Lakers to make a move before the deadline.
They finally oblige your demands.
Let's take a little.
Oh, whoa, whoa.
You said you wanted a deal.
No, no, no, no.
You said you wanted to trade.
You better get chaos down.
You're right.
You better get chaos down.
You were right.
You were right.
You're right.
You're right.
You want to win?
We do need a deal like you.
Motherfucker.
Hey, Cam, that was just narrative,
just talking basketball.
Come on home.
Think about that.
Because he's funny here.
You want people to show you.
What's funny.
He's funny.
Score?
Hold on.
The microwave.
Selfish is going to be like that from here.
He can shoot.
He has to be from here.
He has to be a county kid.
He's an OK alumni.
No, he is from 20 minutes.
He's from Virginia, I believe.
No, for sure.
I mean, no.
Born in Japan.
We're not saying he can't.
Black and he's like Rui.
Come on through.
He was born in Japan.
Oh, yeah.
He can play in, he can go out there, motherfuckin'
in Japan.
And you can use him on the Lakers.
A beautiful.
Shams!
I said it.
Make it happen.
I said it.
Anyway, to this deal, a purple and gold,
Greg Vincent, 2032 second round pick to the hawk.
And a pick.
For sharpshooter, Luke Kinnard,
Knaert has the best three-point field goal percentage
in NBA history with the minimum of 2,000 attempts.
He's 44% from deep for his career.
Averaging 8 points of 46th game this season
on 54-50-91 splits, only player in the league
in the 50-40-90 club this season.
Believe Kau is very close, but not in it.
So according to reports,
this will likely be the Lakers only move at the deadline.
Come from.
Hold on Shal.
Let me go get some shoes back
because obviously you won't count times.
I do want them.
You know Carmelo, you know Carmelo Anthony got waved?
Yeah, 50 years old.
Did he average 24 a year before that?
He did.
No, he averaged.
Did he average 24?
He did.
He averaged 22, then 24?
No.
Swagg is going to retreat.
He was 22, then 24 didn't get, ah.
That's damn.
So we're going to bring a mellow in this?
I was just talking about people who got waived.
He got labeled.
He got labeled.
Well, we're talking about cam times.
Melo got labeled too.
It was his attitude.
It was his attitude.
It was his attitude.
You want to see a text?
Hey, all their attitude.
Do you want to see your text?
Do you want to see a text?
Momba got weighed.
Momba, Tony Bradley.
Did they average 24 and 22?
That's a bad comeback.
That's a bad comeback.
Yeah, that's a bad comeback.
Let it go.
Just that's a bad comeback.
Cam Tom.
Cam Thomas.
I can hurt your feelings.
Come on.
Let's go.
Let's not hurt.
Let's not hurt.
Let it go.
You see how I did the Utah jazz?
Let it go.
Keep going, bro.
Keep going, bro.
Keep going, bro.
Keep going, bro.
We are your corner, bro.
Corner niggers.
Let it go.
niggas.
Let it go.
Continue.
I got to fight for my corners.
You can fight.
I can tell you right now,
he don't identify
with none of y'all
because he averaged 24 in this league.
Go on.
Let's take a moment,
a deep breath.
You can't have to refresh.
That sounds like a shot.
That sounds like shot fire.
Damn.
That's unnecessary.
Ain't it?
We thought we're talking about basketball.
No, the shot was.
You caught him a corner.
What is not a corner.
You called him a corner.
No.
No.
No.
No.
No.
No.
No.
No.
What is he a star?
No.
Thank you.
What?
Team leading score.
Team lead a number one.
Is he a number one option?
Not a star.
Is he a number one option?
No.
Not a star.
No.
No, no star.
He was a number one option.
There was no star.
Is he a number one option?
On his team, yes.
All right, nigg.
Y'all nix.
He was.
He was.
He was.
He was in the check.
And Kobe got said.
There is.
There is been two something.
There is been two something.
He was in the chat.
Look what you mean.
He wasn't.
He was a number one option.
He was a number one option.
Yeah.
And Gus is that's saying the number one option is disgusting.
Yeah.
What year was he a corner?
It's getting disgusting.
Right.
Right now.
Huh?
What year was he a corner?
Right now?
Like, like you know.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Naturally.
Yeah, naturally.
Yeah.
Like somebody on the Blazers, right?
Literally.
Somebody on the Blazers leads that team in scoring.
You can't call him a corner.
And so what was the leader of score?
What was?
Anthony Simmons or whatever.
Anthony Simons?
Anthony Simons.
How much he average?
He was not a corner with the Blazers.
He was not a corner with the Blazers.
But went to the Celtics.
What is he?
Right now?
He's the corner.
Cam Thomas and that.
He's just got traded to you.
You're a corner.
I can't.
He just got to trade to the pool is what he is.
Just keep taking.
Yeah, I don't know.
You don't know.
You don't know.
You don't know.
You're going to know what I push this button right here.
You hear it?
You're listening?
Yeah, that, I mean, yeah.
Yeah.
He's not that.
You hear it?
Does the finger still work?
Yes, it does.
That was.
All right.
We can call him something he's not that yet.
Let's shift over to the Lakers.
Lakers trade of Gabe Vincent,
23, two seconds.
We have not talked about it at all.
Y'all y'all didn't.
No, you didn't say shit.
You've been talking Camp Thomas.
We said, we said.
Defend yourself Josiah.
Damn.
We said they got a second round.
Trade me.
We got a second round.
P-Amp time it's me, hey.
Nickin' threw his shoes off.
Pull out, yeah.
Pull out.
I got a nigga do a push-up, throw his shoes off.
Pull out the thing.
What are you going to do, Nick?
Let's do some squats.
Let's do some squads.
So, Gay Vincent.
I can't talk about y'all, like this guy.
God, damn.
Thank you.
Every time he gets body, he don't got nothing.
He just do this.
We know.
Hey, can you, hey.
Hey, here we go.
You ready?
Here we go.
Here we go.
Ian!
Play my theme music.
It's so hard.
I hang on the motherfuck.
You see what I do for niggins out here, man?
Make them feel good about these still.
Yeah.
That'll be doing for me.
Gabe Vincent, 232-round pick.
Trade it to the Hawksville.
Let's go.
I'll just have a shot.
The Lakers have no more second-round picks.
Gil, you happy now that the Lakers traded Gabe Vincent for Luke Conard?
Rob Blinken said, you want to trade here, nigga, take this trade.
You talk about Rob Blanker.
All that shit to say about Rob, Sean, I'm not letting you know.
Lakers gave you a trade.
All those fucking games with Gabe Vincent's take one shot, 30 minutes.
Give us a smoke.
Don't just shoot like you did for a good scam.
It was gay ass out of here, too.
Damn.
So you really reporting that?
Lookin'all, man.
Are you finished or you got?
We don't.
We got Luca Nogh.
I will hand the laptop to any one of y'all.
No, I'm just saying.
If y'all can navigate some 45 screens that I have up to give you all the information that you got.
Well, you talk about trades, like, trades.
Like, you know, like, we traded, we got LaBron.
And we traded, we got Anthony Davis.
Yeah, you were complaining about a Lakers trade.
Luca.
Right.
Right.
Right.
You see, I'm at the restaurant thinking I'm about to get waggo.
No, we clearing space.
They traded and gave me tofu.
And I'm supposed to be happy with it?
You're clearing enough space.
If you're going to take this shit back?
You cleared up space, though.
Clear space?
He should have been just cut.
I got six people on my team.
We can just cut.
And I guarantee you, I won't blink a bit.
Came here, Westbrook.
Look at the names that came here.
Look at Nard, Gil.
They just put, anybody put the Laker jersey on me.
So did the rest.
Anybody.
There's a bunch of people in the last 10, 10 years that got their name on the back of a Laker jersey.
The Snowtime Lakers.
That used to beat it.
Like, you know you had like that wear that jersey that meant something?
They just giving it out.
Like it's the clipper jersey.
5049.
No, no, la, no.
Okay, first of all.
There's only three jerseys to see in there.
I love Laker fans start.
You wanted a trade.
You can name...
You said you wanted a trade.
You said 50, 50 what?
50, 40, 90.
You know that only, that only means something
if you average enough points.
Eight points?
You average five to eight,
and you want to throw those things out there.
So if it's nine, he can throw it out.
I shoot 50%.
I take two shots.
Get the fuck out of it.
Y'all did that for today.
You don't get enough for Jake.
You know, man.
I was happy with Jay.
I was happy with Jeff.
I was happy.
No, I don't know.
I'm all.
I wasn't happened.
I wish your mother-fell was a little attempt.
That was happening.
You shot tonight.
I'm shooting 50-40 90.
Man, I'm a Mike.
When Steph does it, when Clay does it, when A-E does it,
you're the average in 30.
You want to tell me your 50-99, 75, average in five points.
Come on, man.
It's under 10?
I'm a miss some braves, man.
That's good, man.
Damn, man.
Gabe Vincent, man.
He's played in, he played in, he played in.
I guarantee he ball out now.
Who?
He's playing that Tyler Perry movie.
I guarantee he ball out.
I don't care what you do when you're gone.
I just care about what happens.
What we're at.
For the last.
We got another one.
The last five years, everybody that left the Lakers either got,
fucking six men of the year from Beasley, got paid.
And then in Sacramento, what's his name?
Who?
Who?
Monk.
Monk.
Got paid 85.
Who else?
Who else?
Who did let go?
I'm talking about in that position.
Shooting guard?
That post the B.R. scores off the bench and shit.
That's when he told me, yeah.
Oh, the stroller.
He didn't get paid, though, but he was balling, no.
He was balling.
Strother.
All right, well.
Think about that.
Stroller, Beasley.
So despite the gay Vincent trade for Luke and our biggest story for the legions this week,
deal back up center, Jackson Hayes being suspended for one game for pushing the wizard's mascot.
Talked about this yesterday in the show.
So we still got connected?
And he wanted out.
He's not, nobody going to say for him,
he didn't wave him, he wanted out.
Well, here's the video of Hayes pushing the mascot,
talked about it yesterday.
I know y'all don't care what he can you go.
No, you don't care.
It's just so funny, man.
Damn.
Why he got up off the sea?
He got up off the beach.
He got up off the band.
Can we show it again one more time, Ian, please?
So incident occurred during the pregame
the Lakers' Wizards game on January 30th
with the video showing Hayes intentionally pushing the Wizards
mascot G-Wiz as it ran down the sideline.
I want to try to unite the couch, chat.
All right, we've been arguing.
Damn, I'm going to get somebody else.
I'm suing.
After Hayes pushed the mascot, ricocheted into one of the
Wizards dancers, Hayes will serve the suspension
for the Lexington game tonight against the Sixers.
I'm going to be a mascot no more.
I'm not going to be a mascot no more.
Definitely might get sued.
But did he deserve that one game for defense?
About two weeks.
He didn't.
He didn't, he hit grand me in two.
You don't do the, you don't push the mascot, bro.
Not like that.
He's just doing the job.
Yeah, he just, he ain't doing this job.
He's just doing his job.
He got this hype in the team up.
He got his flag.
I know, but that's why he's funny.
That's why he's funny.
He didn't like doing his job.
And it's like, let's go.
I get the mascot.
It's already hot as fucking everything in this shit all day.
You ain't hit nobody since you been to leave.
You ain't did nobody since you've been to leave.
You want to hit the mask out.
He got off the seat.
He got off the seat.
What made him-
dumb ass?
He got a drug thing.
He got a drug thing.
Like this.
Yeah.
Hope they, hope you sue your dumb ass.
Nah, think about it.
I'm just want to know what.
Not because a mask got,
because the mouser is cool.
What made him say?
I'm like, knock this motherfucker out.
Marijuana is best.
Yeah.
Think about like, he running.
I'm like, oh, this my time to knock this motherfucker.
fuck out. Yeah.
Because Robin Lopez, like, he used to play around.
You know, joking around.
But that was like some real beating.
Yeah, that's, you took something.
Yeah, they're there for entertainment.
They play, they fuck with you.
They come on.
Yeah, yeah.
They did something to Jackson Hayes in D.C.
Jackson Hayes had something done to him in D.C.
Body check the guy.
They threw a pie at his face or something.
Well, let's stick in Los Angeles for a trade that you might care about.
We will say.
We will text.
temperature.
Can I ask you a question?
No, I host Gil.
I'm not taking no question just like you know.
I had enough time.
Hey, there's a question, be all, y'all.
I'm here, mind of my business.
Feeling good.
The Alka for all, feeling glowing.
You just.
The awkward made it through the trade deadline for another year.
We got Timmy.
Actually.
I'm trying to tell you, Gil, it's the snow time Lakers.
Dalton, Luca.
They're sending a message.
They're sending a message.
They're not getting rid of it on.
Jake.
Mm-hmm.
And Lou Cruy.
Slow down, now.
He's black and east?
Never in the leg of history that bats.
Well, in the contemporary history.
Not since like the 70s.
George Micah.
Mike is, yeah, that's what I'm trying to tell you.
Even back then, they was like, yeah, we're good.
We want the Negroes.
Go give me Eldja.
Elgin Beeler.
We can't compete.
My question is this.
There's a lot of people in the NBA, right?
Right?
You couldn't find nobody that can jump
38 to 45 inches off the ground.
You can pick them off the end of the bench somewhere.
I'll take Mac McCullough.
Mac McCullough.
Yeah.
I take Mac.
You know why?
Because he's athletic.
That's his name?
Mac McClellan.
Mac McClellan?
Color?
It don't matter.
Beck McCullough.
I want him.
His name is MacCullough in the arena.
Not a little better.
You can jump.
You can keep up with the rest of them.
Like, we, our team is the most unathletic team.
In this decade?
I don't know.
You just want shooters.
Uters as they are known now in the league.
Well, let's talk about another.
involving a Los Angeles team. Paces are sending Benedict Matherin, Isaiah Jackson,
two first round picks, and one second round pick to the Clippers for a V-Z Zubb.
You got Ben?
Oh, Zubak gone. Damn.
You can't get Zubak?
Apparently they cannot.
So Clippers are receiving a 20-26 first-round pick from the Pacers, protected 1 through 4 and 10 through 30,
so if it falls in the 5 to 9 range, the Clippers get the pick, plus-29 Pacer's unprotected
first rounder.
If the Pacer's first rounder this year falls outside of that 1-4,
10 through 30 range it converts to the Pacers 2031 unprotected first.
Zubots was averaging 14, 11 rebounds, two assists in 43 games this season.
So according to Chris Haynes, the Pacers made a run at Utah Jazz Center,
Walker Kessler, offered a package highlighted by two unprotected first-round picks.
It was declined, so they pivoted to Zubots.
What's your reaction to the Clippers trading not only James Hardin,
a couple of days ago to the Cleveland Cavaliers, but now he meets a Zubok.
Like they look like they're trying to blow up?
falls between five to nine in the lottery.
Obviously, the Patriots will be a lottery team.
Damn, for Zubato?
I don't know if I do that.
I think Chris Paul won.
Chris Paul?
I think Chris Paul won.
You got to watch his son's high school season.
I think Chris Paul won.
He's a winner.
Try to blame that.
Try to blame him.
Try to blame him.
Went on the little.
Y'all try to win without you.
Y'all try to win.
Say it was me.
And then,
and then, boom.
Everybody go.
Y'all are the problem.
Y'all didn't want to win.
Clippers went 6 and 21.
Yeah, they went 17 and 5.
They were winning.
Yeah, they was winning.
They was winning on the record board.
Insides was dirty, probably.
They had the scene they could get.
What was that record?
17 and what?
So they were 17 and 5 at a period.
Then they just lost to the car.
Yeah.
They were winning.
Was that James Harden and tweet real that he didn't?
Asked to be
James Hardin told ESPN's
Ramona Schoberg
That he did not ask
To be traded to the calves
A report today
That the Cavs and Clippers
Were working on this deal
For at least the last six weeks
Donovan Mitchell
Reportedly was aware of it
Yeah
And was advocating for Hardin
Who was one of his
Workout partners
In his past
Adidas, yeah
That Adidas gang or Don't Bang
I guess these
Looks like they
Starting over?
Yeah, you said
I don't know
I mean it's still quai
Like
We get the sense
Again, NBA investigating court over not plenty of truth.
Hawaii's the most important part.
Why is the most important part?
Where is he going to land?
Because you don't got rid of everybody, so he's the last piece.
You treat him like, yeah, that's right?
For six weeks, reportedly.
Or they've been having conversations about the Hardin for Darius Garland trade
for six weeks according to reports?
I don't know what the hell that's.
Hardin told he his report showburn that he did not.
Ballin unless he heard that.
They're like the Warriors right now.
I don't know what the fuck they do.
Kauai did get elected to the All-Star game by Adam Silver,
but Adam Silver also investigating Kauai over not playing in the trees
with the aspiration deal that's supposed to,
investigation is supposed to wrap up after All-Star weekend.
Makes you wonder.
I think a lot of this have to do with that investigation.
About lose some money, yeah.
Makes you say, hmm.
Because they're just making some crazy light.
They just, you know, and then it's going to be after, so, you know,
I think it's deeper over there.
I think it's something going on behind the scenes with the Clippers.
That the NBA is forcing them to do something.
They could be starting over, really?
So you give away him, and then Kauai gets added,
and then the investigation ends after the Allstate.
Yeah, but you do get garland.
So Garland, I mean, yeah, solid.
Clippers currently, 23 and 27th, 9th in Adam Silver's Western Conference.
I think we're right about that to do.
The only thing that happened, well, they're going to have to just pay a fine.
I mean, it's just going to pay a fine.
That's it.
A fine doesn't tell you to blow your team up.
I was reminding.
Thunder only Clippers' 2026, first round draft.
But I'm sure it's something behind, like, James now, like, just back to back like that?
Like, Zuba coming off his best year last year.
Yeah, that just seems.
That's what I'm saying.
It got it.
It's odd behavior.
Andy were ranked preseason number three.
Well, I mean, well, the clippers always have odd behavior.
But do you just ain't nothing new?
They really.
You have Jerry's Garland, Matherin, Kauaii Leonard Brown.
Do you think the clippers really had a chance to win the championship?
Like that's what I'm saying?
They knew that.
Never.
Never.
Don't you like to climb to?
No, but we did have them preseason top three, so that means they were in that mix.
Yeah, I mean, I forgot about Bradley Bill, but that's shit happy.
Zubak?
Zubak going on it?
Ooh, that's, he ain't going to stay there.
Why not?
Zubak is not staying over there?
Well, poorly the patient.
Looking for a sentence?
Five and nine first round pick.
I'm just telling you.
No.
It's crazy.
Okay.
Let's rewind them back last year.
Does Zubak keep up with that team?
Because that point guard is going to be back, right?
Tyree's Halliburton is the point of very front.
He plays too fast for a player like Zubon.
Well, maybe they will slow Tyrese down a little bit.
I mean, they play fast, but he's still.
He still double-dum.
can hey fit better man they fit better yeah he's half court guy and the playoffs you need
that too though uh the playoffs you need that I know but what I'm saying is he don't play slow
yeah yeah they don't place they don't place they're up and down to the point where you need a
mobile big so you need a jet you need a Jackson Hayes type okay you need the kids
and you know um calves you need those you need you need you need you need uh they're
The fastest team in the lead.
Miles Turner, though.
He didn't-
He's just three to three.
Miles played from the top of the key, the top of the three.
Three to three.
That's not Zubach?
Yeah, Zubach and saw it.
But he's not the fastest man in the world.
Who?
Miles Turner.
He didn't have to be.
He played from the top of the key to the top of the key playing.
So he's not, like, he's still got to be fast.
20 feet, 20 feet, 20 feet past this way, 10 feet past half court this way,
10 feet past half court.
I know.
But they're going to go try to post up?
It's just, I don't know.
They just keep them this year and then.
They didn't just keep them this year.
trade them.
It was a weird
trait.
Yeah, that one.
That's what I'm saying.
I'm going on over there.
I don't know what's going on,
man.
It ain't,
the longest clip.
It's weird.
MJ came in there.
This is weird.
And people buy these aprons, man.
I think these first and second aprons
are making teams
make decisions now, man,
that they...
Clipper's 17 or 5.
Get rid of Hardin.
Get rid of Zubox.
Yeah.
Um, Ian.
When in the garden, I come back.
Can you, um, I need my own sound.
I'm tired of still, because every time I still
Rashad's sound, I kind of, kind of like,
can you give Rashad back your sound, please?
Can you give it back to him right now?
There you guys.
It's yours.
Are you getting myself to him?
Damn.
Wait, what?
What was the second one?
Wait, yeah, that's the talk about it?
What is that?
That was your sign.
Taco Bell.
Takello.
Hey, Jaquelo.
Everybody.
If I don't have that, if I don't know the amount, I don't know the amount, I'm
because of my muscle.
Okay.
Tequelo.
I can't even have a sound.
Takeda Takavel.
Like, I ain't got no name.
That's a wah-wah.
All right, well.
Nah, it's kind of funny because of Michelle.
I think that Joe Box is in the right place.
Why?
I think that they can slow the game down since I be the one to talk hoop.
Recall out needed to be.
That can ask.
actually be a game changer, get rebounds, help the team that's out there.
Holliburk comes back.
He's going to need to play half-court basketball at some point during the season, during
the playoffs, whenever there is a half-core game.
Zubak is a half-core player.
He's definitely efficient when it comes down to rebounding, scoring inside.
And I think everybody with legs can run.
You can get up and down.
You can call him a game change, though?
Yes, he's a game changer.
What game does he change with the clippers?
Getting 20 rebounds.
Yeah.
The game.
Yeah.
Changes the game.
A lot of the motherfuckers have got 20 rebounds in the game.
Yeah, he changed the game, certain aspects.
Solid player, yeah, but game changer, I wouldn't put it in that category.
I mean, if I could finish my point.
I mean.
You can't be lying to these people, though.
I mean, if I could finish my point.
Can't be lying to these folks, though, though, though.
So, like.
Zubox and, you know, the Indiana patients are going to be contending for something
next year when Halliburton gets back.
It makes some good trades.
probably make some more moves in off season, you know.
Some good trades or one?
Clippers going to be nice.
I'm just asking.
I forgot y'all logical.
Yeah, you said something good trades.
Wait, the clippers are going to be nice.
Y'all tripping.
Clippers going to be, wait, they got Garland and Finnic, what's in the name?
Benather.
And Madder.
Yeah.
And Kauai, man.
All right.
That's better than the shit they had.
That's going to be.
So who's left?
And you got, what's the big fella that we done?
You used to John Collins?
He had the four still.
You didn't have to.
They can't play.
Ben, they can't get buckets, bro.
Brooke my age.
This is ESPN.
Luke Lopez my age.
This is not official, but depth chart right now,
you got Darius Garland at the one,
Madden at the two, Quire,
at the three, John Collins, at the four,
and then the man who's your age.
At the five, but Isaiah Jackson has the potential to play.
Sen.
Small, though.
They're definitely like 6-8-69.
That's a good.
I put him out there at the five.
That team plays a good four.
That's a good four.
I put Isaiah Jackson out there.
If they want to push the pace.
He plays some five for Indiana, though.
Yeah, no, he did.
Yeah, he plays some, Isaiah Jackson plays five in Indiana.
Yeah, that's a good one.
Yeah.
Just saying he's undersized, but if you want to roll out that
that under side line up in this could.
You got enough athletic guys that can help on them.
John Collins and Oziel Jackson?
No.
How long gone out for though?
You know some funny when you, you, you know,
Sometimes when you get traded, you get healthy.
True, true, true.
I mean, sure.
I mean, he is from that way.
You know, that leg.
They're not going to feel good in his heat.
Uh-huh.
This is weather.
Right.
And D out here.
Listen, this is.
All right.
So, we got.
Gardening, we out there cooking.
Let's keep this thing moving.
We got over 24,000 people in the chat.
We appreciate you.
Do us a favor.
Hit that like button.
I'm trying to see something real quick.
See if y'all really love us like that in the show that we bring you a few times a week.
Well, let's talk.
about Janus. Janice obviously was the subject
of trade rumors leading up to the deadline
Janice was not traded in the
aftermath of the bucks not trading Janus
here's a post that he put up
on Twitter
or excuse me on Instagram it was
a clip from the Wolf of Wall Street
the never used
I'm not effing leaving clip from Wolfram
Wall Street with the caption, Legends Don't Chase
They Attract
Oh my God, he got to let it go
He got to let it go
Legends don't chase, they attract
They're trying hard to be accepted out there.
Everyone's favorite Greco Nigerian, Swaghy?
Except where in Milwaukee?
Because it's so confusing.
You want to leave and you say stuff like that,
then you want to leave, you want to win a championship,
then you say, I want to get traded.
He never said it.
He never said it.
He ain't never said he wanted to get traded.
Our narratives being pushed by the square media
that we were forced to run with as well.
No.
He's never said it.
I know, I know.
He never said it.
He never said it.
Tell him I want to get tricked.
Yeah, come up.
Let's say, let's stop.
Let's stop.
Hey, Tanasas.
Go tell them.
All right.
Tell them in Greek.
That's why they got it translated.
Can I ask you something, though?
Hey, bro, go tell them.
I am taking questions now, good, because you do, I forgot you cut my check and it's getting close.
They don't chase the attract.
So who did they get?
Hmm.
Mm.
I'm just coming about it.
Did somebody come there?
They got.
Yon is young brother.
No, what I'm saying.
They didn't trade nothing.
Cole Anthony.
They got, yeah, they traded Cole Anthony.
And what did you get back?
Amir coffee, I believe.
Usman Dien, who used to be on The Thunder, was traded a few days ago.
Oh, you attracted him?
And Nigel Hayes Davis.
Wait.
Say that name again?
Usman Dien.
The one who was Don Donne LaBron, Frischine?
That is Gershine.
He was traded from the Knig.
He got traded.
To the Bulls.
Gershon.
He got traded.
For Daly and Terry.
Arizona.
Dail and Terry got moved again.
Just by himself?
For Jose.
Them too about himself.
Just one of them.
No, teams are crazy, too.
The Knicks just went out and signed that man in free agency last summer, too.
Yeah.
He picked up to be doing shit, bro.
Well, according to reports, he was not necessarily feeling how Mike Brown was using him.
In the Nick system.
He wasn't?
Cool.
I ain't talking about, I ain't on him.
I know, I understand.
I'm just talking about the organization went out as he was an unrestricted free agent.
He said, come here, and then we sat out.
Yeah, y'all went out, salt this man out to bring him in, decide, you know what?
Gershohn?
We ain't going to fucking play.
And then he asked to be traded and then they found somebody to trade.
In Chicago.
He didn't like how he was being used so they didn't cut him.
But that's a, but he didn't like that.
It's full circle.
I'll do it.
Let it go, bro.
He didn't like guys, just learn let these niggook.
Just give them a segment about it itself.
So he was in a league, 22 and 23 years old, and then he came back in the league.
He had a productive olympic.
He dunked on Bronn and then they brought him back.
they bring him back in the league at 29 years old.
He played 70 games.
Average 11.
The Knicks picked him up.
Yeah.
Didn't play.
And he didn't play.
And he said, I want to trade.
I don't be said I want to trade.
I don't like, I'm being treated.
I'm not.
Or if what.
And it was just him and just one, one?
I mean, let me get to the.
You know, there'd be extra shit all in there.
Exercise.
Probably him in the second round picks him.
No, just straight, straight up.
That would just be weird.
Danes Taylor for Gershawne Uberseli, Danubezsche,
sent to the Pelicans, I believe, for Jose Alvarano.
Okay, my thing is this.
Okay, I know, I know as Milwaukee Bucks,
I know as other teams that wanted to get rid of pieces, right?
How long is free agency?
About 30 days?
Well, however long you want it to be,
you're depending on when you sign a-
No, I'm just saying.
No, the free is the deadline.
How long is that deadline?
You can trade.
It just depends on when people sign their contracts.
I believe it.
It starts June 30th.
No, I mean the trade deadline?
Yeah, February.
It's when the season starts.
Oh, okay.
So what I'm saying is you're Milwaukee.
You have your team, right?
You can see them.
They've been playing up and down, right?
You know what you don't like.
And so you don't have a plan A trade, B trade, C trade.
Like, we're not going to get rid of the honest.
And we've got to keep them this year.
we're going to get rid of boom boom boom to get back
they don't do that
they just laser focus on this
and they're like
wait huh cold
okay and then get like is that how they
yeah that is the
yeah I can see you don't have
ABC type of trades
no and you're
no how can we get better or no
I'm sure you have them but can you execute
that should be easy
yeah
like later said if I wanted
trade AR, boom, this is what I'm
trying to trade them for, these type of players.
These teams I'm looking for.
These teams are the kind of players. All right.
If this don't move, I want to trade
these three.
Get them on it out here. Like, I'm
half so I can keep working them all
at the same time. But then you do all of those and all
those don't work and then you say, all right, Gabe Vincent
in the second round pick for Luke Carnard.
I mean, because I got a B.C.
You get a B. A. B.
I don't think that
was the deal.
Let's do something.
Get the motherfuck out of here.
That was one of those.
I mean, can't they pick it out?
We just want our name.
We just want our name in breaking news.
I mean, can't they figure it out through AI?
Then it cleared up some cap space for them.
It should be easy to do your job today.
So we were talking about it before the show.
Everybody's clearing up cap space, right, to try to go get yannis.
But all those teams are not going to get yonis.
So what the fuck are they going to do after that?
2027?
2026, 2027?
No, 2026 is for Janus.
2027 is for
Joker potentially, but
it's like 10, 15 teams doing it.
Only one of you's going to get them,
the winner of the rest of y'all going to do.
Same thing they do every year?
Watch.
We miss out.
We got to keep the same shit we,
but everybody seems to think that it's like
you go out of bar, everybody thinks they're about the holler.
Would you have to,
JJ, and like at the bad one and
no.
Would you have to take like
Jared Jackson, Jr. and like five
picks, for you honest?
Have you in Memphis?
Yeah.
If you're Milwaukee.
You're trying to start over?
Listen,
unless you're like the clippers
and y'all was working this deal
for about six, seven, eight weeks,
there was no way
you was going to be able to move yon.
Oh, that's bad.
No, no, no.
And it worked out for you.
Because there's just so many moving pieces
and you want to make sure you have the right pieces back
and you don't want to be tricked
out of your bag.
Right?
So it's, you know, just like, you know,
Draymond Green, right?
You trade him over there, you get all these pieces back.
He opts out and goes back, right?
That, you know, stuff like that.
You don't want to make a move and that happens.
Right?
So you, this is when you get all summer to make this trade.
Same thing with John.
All summer to figure that out.
Right?
That's why I said, like, this started a month ago.
Camingam wanted out.
And it takes you to the last 24 hours.
Like, these are desperate trades for no reason.
And ego trades, though.
Like, they could have just been fucking wouldn't make them.
I knew, bro, I knew.
I knew nothing was going to happen when I seen a picture of AR.
And I don't know if it was Dalton or Jake.
It's just, it was.
They're not trading no AR.
With the jersey steel in the locker, I don't know.
It was too, they were smiling.
So the fact that they were smiling during these times
lets me know that somebody already told them y'all good
because nobody smiles during the tread day.
If you look on the bitch, everybody just be like,
checking their phones.
They can do it everything right.
Watch the players get pulled out at halftime, third quay.
Hey, hey, hey, coach, how are you doing this?
Coach, what's going on with you?
Being all nice.
Being all nice.
Don't want something to drink.
Going up early?
Time out.
Showing up early to practice.
Come on, brother.
I'm trying to get some weights in.
You're trying to work hard.
Does Jose Alvarado move to liver for the Knicks at all?
So I think Dussel McBride is about to have surgery.
He might be out to the playoffs.
That's why they made that move.
Then Daly and Terry obviously goes to the Pelicans.
I think a couple second round picks.
They get Jose Alvarado over to the.
the Knicks, he gets a return back home to New York.
He's a New Yorker.
Damn, for sure.
I like that for him.
They might have to give him.
Who?
Get rid of Clarkson.
No, he's, no, no, no.
Because do score, so, because.
And they got the other little small lefty over there, though.
They got too many of the same.
Coler Coalick.
But he's there.
He's there.
Huh?
He got shaman is one.
I love it.
Oh, that little motherfucker.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
That little motherfucker.
Yeah.
All right, well, let's keep this thing moving.
Talk quickly about the Thunder. Thunder were dealt another blow this week.
With reigning MVP, SGA's sideline with an abdominal strain, he suffered during OKC's win over the Magic Tuesday.
SGA will be out for at least the next few weeks.
We'll be re-evaluated after the All-Star break.
Thunder were without all five of the regular starters and leading scores in their loss.
After Spurs, Wednesday, only had eight players available for the game.
Still managed to keep it somewhat competitive.
Thunder dropped to one and four against the Spurs this season, five and five in their last 10 games.
Jalen Williams has been out the last.
nine games with a hamstring strain and OKC's been dealing with injuries to other key
rotational players.
So Gil, how concerning is SGA's injury for the Thunder?
You said everybody was out?
They had eight players available for the game.
I think like nine, nine players were out, including D&M being traded all five of their leading scores,
chat out, Jayla Williams out, Lou Doord out.
That's when Chris came and laid on a whole bench lane.
So they were about to trace everybody.
Yeah, it's just no practice.
You think a trade was imminent?
Mm-hmm.
They was going to make a trade.
Did trade, I think, Dien.
No, what I'm saying is you got all your starters.
Chet, Harkinstein, Jay Will, like, everyone.
So they was going to make, they was trying to make a pool,
and they didn't want nobody to get hurt, so they said them for them games.
Hey, F you trade, if you were.
No, just there's probably, they probably was going to take a shot at, you know.
They probably was going to take a shot at Yonis too.
Oh, I thought they just got boomed on.
They didn't want to go out there and get boomed on again.
One in four against us first?
You thought they were just ducking shots?
Oh, absolutely.
There's no SGA?
He suffered the abdominal strain against the magic,
but he was a little injured coming in that game as well.
Yeah.
He kept his 20-point streak alive, though.
Going up against them guys that were whipping your ass the whole time.
Jay was supposed to be the one.
one dude that sued up, I thought.
If you're going to do anything, not sit out with back spasms.
Yeah, no, there was a-suit-up.
It was going to trade them.
They was going to make a trade for somebody.
That's that, that's that move.
Like before the trade deadline?
Yeah, I've seen that.
Huh?
Yeah.
Always.
I should have liked them this next five-A games at least.
Any issue with that?
Any issue with it?
No, no issue.
Still be fine.
Get your rest, man.
They still trade, motherfuckers, too.
They still?
That sucks.
If once the trade deadline here, you think you're good.
Oh, no, we put the paperwork here.
Yeah, we put the paperwork in.
We got to submit it.
It was processing.
Now, that's funny.
Adam Silver had a text on the email.
That's the funny shit.
Let's say you put the paperwork in and didn't go here for another five hours.
Yeah.
Thought it was over.
Thought it was over.
Nah, brother.
God, you too.
Right.
But this shit, they're going to be fine.
Friend of the program, Xavier Tillman Sr.,
you got traded to the Charlotte Hornets.
The others are not out of the luxury tax.
He sent him in, listen, you know that, listen, they're trying to get off that bag, boy.
It changes the game.
It's like.
Send him in $3.5 million.
Listen, sit him with a bag.
Hey, you can go to Charlotte with this bag, man.
I don't like that second apron.
This is terrible.
And the reason is it's, you're not promoting winning.
It's not a winning formula.
It's a losing formula.
Because just like, okay.
At some point they're going to be in it, then they're going to have to just dismantle their team.
Sooner than later.
Huh?
Sooner than later.
So it's not like, so you don't even make it possible for them to win multiple championships.
Right.
If this was gold, if this was in when Golden State was playing, they wouldn't have got to win it.
Multiple.
Because they would have been in the second April and they would have had to break that team up.
Right.
So you, you, you're willing to pay.
Yeah.
But what is that?
What is that tax?
They went up with a luxury tax.
Huh?
They went over to look for that.
Yeah, that was that luxury tax.
This new shit is very different.
Aprons and all there.
Yeah, so I mean,
like three tiers.
Like second apron, you can't do shit.
First time, you got a little movement, but yeah.
But they should be fine, man.
It's at this point where they are,
the record is the record, right?
They're going to finish one or two.
And right now, take these next three, four, five weeks for everybody to hill up and then get ready for those last 32 games after playoffs.
Thunder 40 and 12 still have a five game lead.
Damn, they went.
In the Western Conference, Spurs, trailing by five shots.
They play Houston Lake.
After the 21 and four start, you said Houston.
Houston, Lake is Phoenix.
Great the schedule, Boo-boo at that point.
And then Milwaukee, they get that.
That's your work.
Five in their last 10.
One and four against the Spurs.
I don't want to bring it.
I don't want to bring it.
I don't want to bring it.
Nasty work.
You remember when they said they needed to get tested?
Who did you get tested?
What did you get tested?
Because it was Denver.
Who won the Denver game?
That wasn't he.
For what?
Remember OKC, he said he wanted to see them against Denver.
Get tested.
The Thunder beat the Nuggets.
Nuggets were without three regular stars in that game.
The Thunder were also missing.
Who won?
The Oklahoma City Thunder, actually, I believe,
I believe, had 34, 13 is it.
I can say, under-
Nugget Squad.
Back to the question.
I wasn't here.
40 and 12, 24 and 1 start.
That'll be fine.
Hell, yeah.
60 and a letter now than later.
My math is correct.
Better now than later.
And then with the break,
I'm talking about the injuries for the-
Yeah.
You got the All-Star break?
So he's not going to plan on.
Which is fine.
Any conservative of the district squad job.
Jalen Williams,
missed a bunch of games to start the season.
What's his injury, Amy?
Yeah.
than SGA?
I don't like that for him.
dealing with the abstring.
Can't do it.
Any prejudice.
He's been dealing with that all year, right?
Like, Hammy?
And that's the bad thing for him is because how he plays the game, he plays it explosive.
The hammy is very important for him.
And he's never going to be able to tell if it's truly healed.
Because how he will practice versus how he would play.
Right?
It's like when you have a hamstring injury, it feels.
better you're doing all this but you never really know until he on the break and he take off
and it's like oh it's not there so he has to be very careful so if i'm them i'm gonna sit him as
long as possible i don't want him to keep retweaking in the playoffs it's a good time to see him though
yeah for sure a good time to sit him so go you mentioned that uh you thought the thunder were
gonna make a trade thunder did make a trade actually uh before the deadline requiring second your
guard jerry mccain from the sixers in exchange for a 2026 first round pick via the rockets
Three second round picks.
McCain's 16th overall pick in the 2024 draft.
Average 15, three assists, two rebounds in his rookie season,
played 23 games that season before having season ending surgery for a torn meniscus.
Miss the start of this season, recovering from a torn ligament in his shooting thumb,
averaging seven points, two rebounds, two assists, shooting 39% from the field.
I had the same surgery.
Love making Tic-Tic-Tic-Tac's, Thunder Love Making Tic-Tic-Tac as well.
Good move for the Thunder to pick up, Jerry McCain.
Low risk.
Yeah, hell yeah.
With Shane out, that's all it.
No, because he plays, he knows how to play the game.
Right, that fits him perfect.
Backup minutes can play the, he can play the two also.
But you know that was going to happen, right?
When he got the Philly, there was, like,
there was no, there was nothing for him.
Right, he just played so well you had to play him,
but once he got VJ, it was like.
No, Maxie was out.
Maxie was out.
Yeah, Maxie, yeah.
But when he came back, they did well.
Now he was out then.
Yeah, Paul George was out there
just put him at the one too.
But then McCain got hurt
he only played 22 games.
Yeah.
So yeah, so it's her dream like December-ish.
But my thing is, when you, when you,
why you miss so much time with a meniscus though?
Like that shit, wow, man.
You got hurt 22 games to the season
and you missed the rest of the season with a meniscus?
Dog, that's this new shit, man.
What, really?
Doctor.
Wouldn't he be taking his time?
Yeah.
With a meniscus?
Not a fucking Achilles.
man. No, nigga.
Say nothing about an Achilles.
That's what you're hitting that, motherfucker.
No. I'm talking about it.
No, you're not. You're talking about what we talked about yesterday.
Him moving at his own pace.
No, niggas, a meniscus.
Why can't he move at his own pace?
Because niggas then played three weeks after meniscus tear.
Not him? Not me?
Not him?
It ain't the Achilles.
So, make the same fucking thing.
Okay, first of all,
Ganyan, what's up?
I don't mean to let you know this.
But I'm pretty sure
all our menisks
ain't the same.
Yeah.
I'm pretty sure
your meniscus
is more affidated
than my meniscus
okay?
But it's the same time.
You,
three weeks,
me whole season.
Because you don't rehab.
Because you didn't do
what you were supposed to.
Damn.
He didn't.
Okay.
He didn't.
That's all I'm saying.
That's all.
I don't guys
come back from meniscus
and
they got me that one.
Football.
Football.
players go out there motherfucker without that bitch and play.
Let it be a playoff game.
Let them be a playoff game.
Shoot me up.
Shoot me up.
So, Bonus was out like three months, four months.
Okay.
With a meniscus.
Okay.
Whole season.
I mean, it is different types of differences.
He didn't get surgery.
He didn't get surgery.
He didn't.
He didn't.
I had menaces too, and I didn't get surgery.
What kind was it?
Oh, yeah.
Out of injury.
There.
It was a button.
I remember I had button, it was a button hook.
I had one that was called the button hook where it just flaps.
So he's like, if it doesn't flap and irritation, you're good.
You can keep fucking play.
I had a, that's what I had.
My shit with my, yeah, mine was clicking.
Yeah.
So it's irritating.
So it's coming?
So is it coming?
I had that.
You don't get surgery?
19, 20 year old kids, take that long with a minute.
I just got money.
Three months made money.
And he playing well?
You should be the rest of the year if you're going to take your time.
I just got surgery for my.
Because you don't know when it's going to pop again.
You don't know.
You're thinking it might pop again.
You got surprised at all by the Thunder giving up a first round pick
and three second round picks for Jeremy.
Damn.
The Thunder?
Nah, they got picked.
They got picks to blow.
He proved he can play.
Yeah.
It's low-risk trade to sex.
He fits right in with the rest of the guys they got.
Smart.
No time to play.
Biggins.
Zah, Joe.
He fit right in with the core same ability.
I think the mother dude just might be better defenders than him,
but he probably scored a ball better.
I don't know, but it is what it is.
It doesn't seem like the same team to me.
And you're TikTok and it's just don't seem like the same team.
Watching them play there, they don't seem like the same team.
I mean, the gentleman's been out.
I don't understand the effects of having the compete now year after year.
I think it's the effects of just having a team go through shit.
Go through losing, go through injuries, go through adversity.
It's the championship.
Just the same way Boston did.
Boston went through the same type of shit.
Going through trying to figure out how to repeat, then they go through injury.
Now they've got to deal with adversity.
I think that right now, they never dealt with adversity after being in a winning situation.
So it's all new to all of them, and they're trying to figure out how to recalibrate.
That last night was a sign to me because I wanted them to see them fight,
regardless of who wasn't playing as far as who was really hurt or injured,
I wanted to see them actually fight that game to try to win that game against the spares.
So for them not to even suit up and all that, whether it's for the trades or whatever,
it just they just don't feel the same as it did.
Because I mean, they were 24 and 1.
I wasn't rooting for them, but I wasn't rooting against them.
So it was like it looked good, but I always knew something basketball-wise,
something was missing.
And when they started playing good teams,
you started seeing things happen.
And they haven't had that same energy since.
They may have won a couple games in a row,
but SGA's been holding it down based on his consistency.
He hasn't...
You're also lost games like the Pacers.
I mean, you've just seen...
Most of the teams is actually more besides
if you take out San Antonio,
the rest of the losses is bad teams, right?
Hornings and shit.
And those are the games that I'd be saying,
like those are the games you're supposed to win.
to continue to send the message that they were sending in the beginning of the season.
If y'all don't got a chance against us, we're going to blow y'all out the water.
Now these teams are making it where it's a game, and you can't take them out,
and you spend an energy on this shit.
But you don't think it's like Jalen Williams being hurt,
and the rest of the players is balling to him coming back,
and they're not going to take that back seat.
And the coach got to figure out how to keep that same energy from the guys,
and add Jayman Williams
into 20, averaging 20 still?
It's hard to just,
I'm averaging 17, then Janet Williams
come back and then you
gotta take that back seat.
Do you think that that was the reason why
the chemistry kind of tilted a little bit?
Yeah, because it did tilt after that.
You went, you're 24 and 1.
AJ Bush, it was balling.
I only think it's the chemistry.
I just think teams just getting up to play.
Play them.
And then they're taking the bad teams lightly.
Like, it happens.
Like, you know.
But you have other guys.
that roster trying to get some bread at this point.
Yeah.
It's not even just the bread.
It's the way that they were playing without him.
Yeah.
The way that they were playing without him.
And then he came back and you seen a shit.
Yeah, you're like, man.
Now he was like, well, then he was like he ain't got his shit back yet.
It's like, well, he's still trying to figure it out.
He's still trying to get his shit back.
And they're not deferring to him like they used to.
Yeah, they kind of like get off the ball type of shit.
Yeah, swing that shit.
Well, I'll tell you this better now than later.
I'm confused.
What's your kid really?
What's wrong with you, man?
You all right?
Five games above everybody else.
But y'all talking like they didn't do what Denver did when they won the championship
we came back to next year.
They didn't do what the Bucks did.
They didn't do what Boston did when they won the championship.
We came back, right?
This team has actually compared to this year, they dominated.
they're dominating.
It's like they lose one game and the roofed and fell off.
Now they lost three games to a team.
And their roof fell off.
I got enough,
I got enough games to lose.
They dominated the first 25 games in the team.
No, but those games, they lost to a team that they could meet in the Western Conference
finals.
So we're looking at that like.
Okay, but again, you're praising the teams that are behind me like I'm not this far up.
I missed my second best player
My second best player ain't been here all year
Right and we're still five games in front of everybody so
What is the real problem? He came back and it didn't look like
Like we thought it was gonna be a better record
Yeah, they had a better record last year at the same point
A real problem is if you're looking at it from the box score
I think it's not as good you would say that you're looking at it from the box scores
You'd be like they're still dominant
But if you are watching the games, it just don't look the same.
We're not discrediting their dominance or none of that.
It just don't look like the same team in the first 25 years.
So they were 43 and 9 last season after 52 games.
What is different is they're not playing their two bigs at the same time like they were last year,
the majority of the season.
They play that very small ball.
That's what makes them, that's what really actually makes them beatable,
is that when they do small balls
so they can be a lot quicker
and they can switch everything
that they give up a lot of rebounds
I think
at one point with Lou Dort is probably
the best rebounding
when he's out there
or Chet sometimes
who's sitting at a three point line
it's like no just put both your
nobody can't
no one's built to have two bigs
with Chet and Harkin line
like no one's coming in there
well those bigs have to be healthy
I know but I'm saying like if
If they're playing spurs, right?
Chet is not guarded by Wemby anymore.
He has to guard Harkinstein.
That changes the game right there.
Because you can't sit there with Chet
and Harkisstein getting all the office rebounds.
And also it's, it's...
But Jalen Williams, 23 changes the game too.
No, no.
No, 4.
I'm average at 30, then 23, then 20.
I'm just talking about...
Down is 30 and 14, 6.
17, 13.
Their championship run was predicated on Harkistan getting offensive rebounds and Chet eating off of that and Jalen Williams playing off the, off the, but that ain't.
Now, it's, how many games are you?
It's looking nasty now.
Most of the season, right?
He's been out.
Let me see.
He was a part of the first 25 games.
It doesn't look nasty.
Oh.
I guess it looked nasty.
It is a question mark, though, with them spurs, though.
But Harkinskine wasn't there.
Harding's not
Harding's not
Played against the spurs
Of all the games
I don't think so
He hasn't played
He has played 27 games this season
He has played a couple
Games against the Spurs
Did he play play?
He's starting
24 minutes
26 minutes
20 minutes
You played in three
Five
I'm looking right now
Yeah
I just want to see
When they're fully
fully healthy
And
Yeah
If you're
If you're
Having a double
Against the Spurs
And three
These next six weeks
Is the most
important thing
For them
You don't want to be getting you don't want to be banged up going to the playoffs not your team
That's what I said right now them being like like resting is fine
Like they go like some teams need to get they need to get their mojo
They need rest they need to to really you know heal up whatever Nick Mack is going on
That's been my thing with them though it's been everybody's healthy
They play great they look great
That was the championship squad we seen last year.
Who was hurt last year?
They played well.
This year, it's on the rocks and they steal where they at.
But it looked different with teams that come in there and exploit those mismatchers, exploit those deficits.
And that's where it looked nasty.
Like teams that they go across the way in the east side, they got to play against them beating them and certain other guys.
It's like it's going to be a different, it's a whole different game.
That's why I'm just looking at it.
I'm not going to be the ultimate critic with them, per se, on the injury side, but it just
don't look the same.
It don't look the same, especially if Shay not healthy.
Shea not healthy is.
His day's dead for them.
Dead for them.
So whatever this injury is for him.
We know that.
Him coming back.
That's right.
It's important.
This Bronson has hurt that's dead for me.
It's fucking Luther hurt.
What happened with Tatum went down?
Is he still dead for it?
No, no.
What happened when Tatum went down?
They lost.
They're number three in the east right now.
When Tatum went down with the killies, they lost yesterday.
I mean, they lost last year.
No, I'm talking about right now.
Like the team that they have right now, based on the team that they had, they have something to build on.
OKC don't got that same backbone.
They don't got a Jalen Brown backbone right now if they go down.
Because he heard, Jaylon Williams hurt, though.
So you can't afford, he can't afford that.
Check can't be that backbone.
You can be that he's going to give us 30 every year.
All right, well, let's keep this thing.
We've got one last trade to talk about
before we wrap up for the day.
So after trading Mike...
How is Houston playing?
Hmm?
Just, have they clicked yet?
Are they still...
Fourth in the West?
That's kick yesterday by Boston.
I'm just...
I'm trying to figure out, like,
I guess I have to all start to see who's...
You know how you can see?
Okay, oh, they turn it on.
I was just saying if they turned it over yet.
All right.
My bad.
So after trading Mike Connolly,
Tuesday to create some cap space.
Wolves made another move before the deadline today.
Trading 2024-8th overall pick, Rob Dillingham,
aka Rob Dilley, Linder Miller,
and four second-round picks of the Bulls for I.O. Dosamu
and Julian Phillips.
Dosamu is averaging 15 points, four assists,
three rebounds of 45 games with the Bulls this season,
including 10 starts.
Final year of its deal set to become a free agent this summer,
with the wolves now inheriting his bird rights,
allowing them to exceed the cap if they want to sign them to a new deal in the off season.
Not a huge move, but interesting for me.
I like that move.
I like that move.
I like that.
What the wolves got back is great.
I mean, what the wolves got back is great.
I mean, they can use him right now, you know, for a player that they wasn't using.
How many guards does the bull have now?
A lot, Gil.
I'm glad you asked.
Several guys, I don't think they have a player over 610 on their roster now with the addition.
Like, wasn't another trade that a ball have?
Guard went to the Bulls?
Yeah, there's been several.
Kobe White.
Large, guards, guards.
Yeah, okay.
So, they got out of the day.
Mike Conley, right?
He went there and they trade.
They moved him.
Mike Conley, expected to get bought out, I believe, by the Hornets.
We'll be able to rejoin the wolves if he wants to because it's two team things.
Because of the bogie rule, yeah, he's moved two teams now.
He can go so busy, get trade.
That's what I be, the crookedness.
That's what my brain be, trying to get that.
where I can trade you.
And actually the Bulls got Nick Richards too.
I can get him back.
And then cut him and get him back.
Bulls got Nick Richards in that.
There's a lot of shigling.
So Mike Connolly is going back to Wolves, basically.
Right?
He can go wherever he wants once he gets bought out.
Yeah, you get bought.
Okay.
So Bulls actually did get Nick Richards in a trade today
and that Bucks trade with Cole Anthony Amir coffee
and all that going on.
So for a moment yesterday, they didn't have a player, I think,
over 6-9 on their roster.
But have addressed that.
in Minnesota right now?
Bones.
Bones Island?
Right?
That is not.
Be starting.
This man, huh?
It would be, um...
Who was my colleague, right?
No, it would be...
Was Mike?
Shooter.
At man?
No. Collie was coming off the bench.
You got even Chimzo.
I don't think he's playing.
Let me say, go.
Did you know?
Overwork.
Overwork.
Overwork on the page?
Is what you're trying to say?
No.
I sound like,
what you're trying.
Wait for you this.
Come in my head.
Oh, yeah.
Dimitino.
Devinzo starts.
You got James.
You got James.
That's like for Antman,
that's the perfect type of guard.
Divichers don't need to play a point.
Just, you know, catch shoot,
create shoot, right?
You got to have two.
Who played the Bullsman can play?
I mean, I like what they belong back.
So, you know, young fella can get some, uh, learn, you know, get some experience, you know, in big moments and see what he can do in a few years, you know, don't know what the bull's doing, right?
Something tells me that's what Yonis is going to go, dog.
Where?
Bulls.
Think so?
I don't know.
Something itchy, man.
Something's itching that.
He going to stay right where he had, but just go.
down the street.
They have the pieces to...
Dang, that's shit.
They ain't got shit.
They got nothing.
I'm glad to say, how's that's what I was like...
That's what I'm looking like...
You know to get a nigga some match to beat.
So I said you like to move for the Temple Wolf.
I got a...
Oh, yeah.
Definitely have Michael Jordan house.
They got a six men.
Come with the golf track.
We got a good six.
Man out of that guy come out there and 15 the games.
Shit.
For the guy that wasn't playing.
I think he should compete for the Vincenzo minutes for sure because he's one of those guys played both sides of the ball.
It's interesting.
Beautiful time here.
Has any?
I don't like this.
I just, I don't know.
This doesn't, like, you got to ask the fans that did, like, your,
favorite team, do you think y'all got better?
Like, who's gotten better to, besides the calves?
It seemed like calves and wizards seem like,
they made big jumps in a sense.
Hornets, well, Atlanta.
Cavs fans, I'm pretty sure cast fans seem better going into the,
to the playoffs.
Atlanta, to make it to the playoffs.
Boston.
Boston.
Yeah, Boston.
Boston, Boston, Boston.
There it is, Boston.
I'm going to say I can't.
Don't sleep on the Hornets.
Oh, yeah.
A stretch.
They got that stretch.
Sleep on a hundred first round picks in the next seven years.
Moving or shaking.
Volker that roster, 25, under 25 years old, one seven straight games.
You said 11 picks.
11 first round picks.
11 first round picks.
Let me tell you what the, what the Charlotte Hornets is.
Lamello Ball is the best pick they've ever had.
they would have it would have been
Shay but they traded that
on draft night
and Kobe
you know what that means
kind of can nipples you know what I mean so that means if you go
through the 25 years of drafting
think about all the names that they passed on
and who they got
cheer too long much longer my guy so backer
let's wrap this shit up
you got sciaticus
cut
go to commercial
You got somebody else.
You got the back to me?
You got the back from me?
Got side of him in your car again?
Nah, the kids are sick and shit.
They all run in the bed.
They're being shit.
They're all in their beer word.
They're sticking their head.
Oh yeah, I need that money, man.
What?
You got $25 at?
What are you think he get?
What are $25?
I'm in the game you think is to do.
You got ejected?
No, ain't the injection.
It ain't the injection.
It ain't why he got ejected.
What was it?
Was why he got ejected?
What did you do?
I didn't see.
ejection. I didn't see... Oh, he called the female ref a bitch? Oh, did he?
That's why he got ejected? I just seen him walking off the floor. I didn't see what happened.
I mean, well, I mean... Oh, quickly soon as that. I mean, one two. One word, get you two
two. The one word, get you two. The big, the big, right?
Right, bitch, right. That's my man. That's two damn bad.
Two damn bad. If you don't like it, bitch the new one.
I thought I told you.
I ain't gonna say you no more.
I'm sorry, but I probably would have been doing this event.
You probably would or you d.
I probably would have like...
You're a man.
You're a boo.
You're a bitch.
You a bitch.
Not not getting to call the fire bitch.
You a bitch.
All right.
He'll not...
He can decide.
We know speaking English.
He should have went to yourself.
So I took it at it.
He wanted her to understand what he was saying because he definitely English is definitely second language
He's European so English is his second language so if he he could have called a one in his native tongue and he wouldn't have got nothing
But he he wouldn't have heard it you know the first time
Yeah
That has been public mm-hmm and nobody did it
You can say it ain't nobody did it nobody's nobody got a technical and explained and nobody can get in
Because I'm pretty sure
Because I'm pretty sure
Every time there was a female
Yeah
That's all you hear
Right
