After practice Monday, LeBron was asked what he expects his role to be with the Lakers this season and had this to say. Don't matter. I'm a ball player. The best thing about me and the way I've built my game over my whole life and my coaches. And literally, I've never had a position. I can do everything on the floor. So whatever this team needs me to do, and more I can do it. it when I'm back to myself yeah I got to work my way back into it I mean the guys have been doing road trips shoot arounds been on flight so I got to work my way back into the fold of things you know so it's kind of like a you know a kid going to a new school again just kind of you know got to learn the guys and everything so they got they got some great chemistry and I'm just you know feel my way back in and do it organically so I shouldn't be hard but definitely it's going to

be a feel-out process even the pre-prey brazen he could play for any team in the world given his skill set ability to adapt so Jay J.J. Reddick was asked about LeBron's return, said LeBron will likely play 35-ish minutes per game once he's ramped up. Gil, I see you laughing already. Brian averaged nearly 35 minutes per game last season. Let's start on the Lakers side of the couch.

Gil, what role should LeBron play with the Lakers this season? What role did he play last year when we had the team? There you go. He played the role. Second team, all NBA. Okay. Sixth and MVP voting. So he's going to be playing like a first team, second team,

third team, all NBA. That's what we expect from them. If you look at our team, we need whatever he got to bring. We got two players and a whole bunch of role players. I imagine those two players being Luca and Papa DiLimon, Austin Reeves. Yes. And then everybody else is on the Lakers squad at this point. And we're going to cheer and be happy.

Now we're 10 and 4 with LeBron James coming back. So, you know, we're good. I mean, we talked before the season started what would be an ideal. Top three. There you go. Top three, Adam Silver's... 25, 5, and 5. It don't matter. It's LeBron James. I don't know what...

Currently fourth in the NBA, but I understand what you're going to do. He's going to go out there, average about 25, 5, and 5. That's what he do. It's easy work. It's easy work. Well, not the first game. Not the first couple games. He's so used to playing with out on not being on the flights.

But films to bond, acclimates each other. What role should LeBron play with the Lakers this season?

So Austin's going to take less shots, but he's going to be better from the three point line because they're going to be better shots. Some of those, as we've seen, watching the Lakers over the past few weeks. One leg, them shit. He's just throwing shit up there now. Like, I can't.
