All right.
So, you know,
we got a lot of basketball to talk today.
And this is a basketball show.
But we're going to hit
a little football
in the biggest story
in the league right now.
Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift.
That's so funny.
Swifties have taken over the league.
Yes, Swifties.
She made back-to-back appearances at Chiefs game
in this burgeoning romance with Travis Kelsey.
Alleged romance.
So I'm going to ask you.
First, is the NFL too thirsty for this Taylor Swift-Travis Kelsey relationship
or alleged in your opinion?
And be mindful, we got Swifties that watch this show too.
Yeah, I don't know if, I mean, thirsty is an appropriate word,
I think, but, like, I've tapped into the NFL more
since the Swifties' loose has dropped.
Absolutely. I love seeing Taylor Swift at the games,
and she just being there, wildin',
she's having a great time.
Like, I think that's why people enjoy seeing her at the games,
because she's actually, like, into's not just like sitting there like being on
Taylor slips like she's literally fanned out at the games and it's it's really
fun if Taylor pulls up she's gonna go hard like you know don't matter if the
beauty award everywhere she's seeing all the lyrics like in the crowd you know
most of the lyrics I hope you know I think that's why people love her like
everywhere she goes so good
What do you think about this whole Travis Kelsey?
We were one
Come on boys forgot about me.
We left the door unlocked for you.
They were still at the gate of security or you have to take the back gate?
You know, I know I was just wanting to make a grand entrance.
Wow.
You know, the grand entrance is the best.
Yeah. Let me crash the goddamn party Wow. You know, the grand entrances are the best. Yeah, let me crash
the goddamn party then.
Shit.
You feel me?
It wouldn't be
Gills Arena
without the legend
Rashad McCant.
I appreciate you, man.
You got Buck Scholar.
Man, you know.
Confidence Coffee.
I'm on my
Jimmy shit.
You feel me?
You didn't come
with the emo though.
Nah, you know,
because the emo
was a little bit much.
But I know what he mean.
He's sad.
He's sad.
Pat out there fucking up.
We keeping Lowry.
We want Mike Lowry,
not Kyle Lowry.
What the fuck
is we doing out here?
We ain't doing shit, Miami.
You fucking shit up.
Damn, we enemies now,
goddammit.
So since you're here,
we got to hit you
on this whole
Travis Kelsey Taylor thing. Hold on, you just going to ask me a question. He interrupts the shit you go right to him
Mm-hmm. I bet go you got it. This is gills arena
I mean I mess with celebrities right you a lie
never he's a lot when I was a celebrity because
You've been a celebrity? No names do more.
If you know what I'm saying.
Listen, no, no.
Okay, look.
My only thing is, is as,
will he fumble this one?
I mean, it's Taylor Swift, right?
As a man,
older man now,
you have to really understand
that the girls you was messing with before,
you got to let them go.
Change the phone number, erase all, block everybody
because there's no way you can cheat on Taylor Swift.
But who's saying that Travis would want to do that?
Hey, we men.
Right? Because all them thots now,
they're going to be running in there because that's
the easy way to get fame. I'm messing
with Taylor Swift's dude.
Oh, you got to. Hey, you.
That's the...
This relationship is going to be harder
than the Super Bowl.
Oh, no, it's going to be harder.
If he breaks her heart or does anything disrespectful, he's going to be harder. If he breaks her heart or does
anything disrespectful, he's going to become
public enemy number one.
Completely.
It's who you tell.
You're fucking telling.
You're fucking telling, goddamn.
Obviously, you've dated
high-profile celebrities before. What are your thoughts
on this whole situation? Like you said, you can't
fumble the bag on that because as soon as they catch you
or insinuate that
you cheating or you
could be with your manager.
Drinking coffee. Who's that?
Who's that?
Or you labeled a womanizer
and all kind of shit. Referees not calling
shit on you because he's like, man, we seen your ass
last night. You cheated on
Taylor Swift.
How is that? Like is that public spotlight relationship?
It's a lot because as an athlete, we already get attention. I wasn't new to it. She was
actually trying to come up and get the attention that we already get. So they're trying to
piggyback off of what we,
but Taylor don't need that.
So it's like when you get into that area as an athlete,
you're getting more attention than you should.
And for me, I wasn't a star yet.
And I wasn't even a role player at the time.
I was one of them, lucked up, met her at a club.
You know, I'm a fly young Negro.
You know what I'm saying?
I'm out here in L.A. young Negro, you know what I'm saying? I'm out here in LA moving around, you know what I'm saying?
And happened to look up and hit the lotto.
And then you in Cosmo, you in OK Magazine, and the media take out.
You can't make a move.
You can't post nothing wrong.
Next thing you know, red flags go up, everybody
don't think you serious, because you get more attention off the floor than you are on the
floor. And that's the one red flag that he got to look out for, because a lot of people
say if they're 2-0 now, since they've been dating, they lose any games, it's going to
be because of that.
Yeah, that's going to be part of it. But just like NFL, you have a whole other entity coming to the watching the games now,
right?
And I never understood how sports frown upon the public stars that's dating each other.
Like, I'm on TV every day, so what are we talking about here?
Right.
Right?
If it ain't her, it's someone else, and usually
someone else has come with a whole bunch of someone else,
so I'm unfocused
at the strip club
every night versus me dating
someone that's famous that's actually keeping me in the house
more because I don't want to get, you know,
I don't want to get caught up.
Right? So it seems like a safer
bet, but, you know. It's the encounters,
though. Like, even now, like, go to the grocery store. man, that's McCann's. You'd be pissing Gilbert off,
man, on that show, man. Oh, you'd be making them so bad. I mean like, if that's what you know me
for, I'm a nigga that pisses everybody off. So it was like, I can only imagine like him
wanting to stay in the crib just to avoid the questions, the insinuations, all that.
I mean, but from the female perspective, what you think about it from a Taylor Swift side?
What is she dealing with?
Well, I mean, I keep saying it's an alleged relationship.
Nobody has confirmed or denied that they're even dating each other.
So, I mean, if they are, amazing.
If they aren't, also amazing because, I mean, like you said,
Taylor Swift doesn't need any of this attention.
Like, she literally is having just a great time.
I've seen Travis Kelsey on my TV screen more
in the last two weeks than I have in, like, the last two years.
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
So, I mean, they're both benefiting from it
as long as, like, it ends amicably.
Like... Who's gonna say it may go on forever?
Make it last forever? They might, yeah. It just might last forever. But if it doesn't, it could just, like, f amicably. Who's going to say it may go on forever? Make it last forever?
Yeah, it just might last forever.
But if it doesn't, it could just like fizzle out
and be like, oh, this was a great moment.
As I said, this ain't going to be a Taylor Swift breakup.
This is going to be Travis.
A Travis Kelsey fuck up?
Yeah, like you, like you, you.
Because he wants the attention, right?
So you're dating someone that's way out of your caliber in fame.
All right.
Right?
So you are the bachelor in the NFL.
You are the hottest man on the street.
Do you know you at the bank?
Right?
That's, that's a, like, do you know this is generational wealth that you that you got next to you
right like
Unless you want to go you can only go up Oprah, you know Beyonce's off the table. They ain't too many
Not too many girls
That's above what she's doing and she has yet like you're talking about
30 40 more years of just making money. Yeah, like this is when you send that she has you like you're talking about 30 40 more years of just making money
Yeah, like this is when you send that home and you like
And I think a lot of people do y'all gotta go though because she's had all the success just her
He's never put herself next to another famous man and not a man in general really
I mean a lot of the guys that she's been with like have wronged her done her wrong
And that's why people are like not a man in general, really. I mean, a lot of the guys that she's been with have wronged her, done her wrong,
and that's why people are like, we love Taylor Swift.
She dated some famous people,
but on the flip side, if it don't work out
and now she got a new album,
that thing is going to go diamond.
The fans are going to appreciate it.
Hey, that's the question, right?
It's the question.
Is this the PR stunt?
Right?
That's the question, because it's like,
all right, Travis, you can't afford
to not play well.
Hey, look, I don't give a fuck about playing well.
That's Taylor Swift.
I can drop every ball.
What y'all going to do, cut me?
No, she going to cut you.
No, she going to cut you.
Nah, I'm holding umbrellas.
I'm holding whatever she need.
Whatever she need.
I ain't no talking back.
You crazy? What what it's Taylor Swift
when they talk about submissive and um uh masculine I'm feminine in the mug date Taylor Swift
baby how you doing baby you need your feet rubbed I don't give a fuck y'all can say whatever
I have time I have time I'm not dropping shit
what's her what's the name what's her little crew the Swifties I have Swift. I'm not dropping shit. What's her, what's her name?
What's her little crew?
The Swifties?
I have Swifties all over the goddamn shirt.
Swifties on the neck.
Friendship bracelet?
He makes 40 million?
Yeah.
That's cereal box money for her.
Me crazy, I don't care.
But if he playing bad.
Cut me.
If he playing bad, she not showing up to the, she can't.
It's embarrassing.
We both ain't showing up. It's embarrassing bad, she's not showing up to the get see she can't it's embarrassing We both think so embarrassing. We both things showing up. We had the studio and I'm helping her write songs
Yeah, I'm thinking about after this
I'm the fucking manager now. Hey, I know women be out there like oh, hey you ain't going out masculine shit
Let me get that. Let me get a bag
I'll make sure it stays closed. Mmm
The last question I mean Rashad for everybody doesn't know we talked about Khloe Kardashian back in the day
But what was the tension like in the locker room and I obviously bad
Oh, you know when she still kind of look like a dude
No, no, no, no, not not though not that no, let me rephrase that can we erase that can we edit it out?
Cuz that's it what everybody's little stomach like
I'm like damn girl cuz I was about to give it a come like I like the way she looked before with it like damn
It's just gonna look like that. No, I like it. Well shit. No, I'm just saying
Well shit, that's what she was being teased. She's a little bit bigger. Okay, that's what she's been teased. Okay, that's
She has some cushion for the push
Shit I always thought that you know
When you date somebody at that caliber there is attention in the locker room that is unwarranted
Regardless of anybody believe it or not. Like you get the under, you get to understand that one, that you
starting to get a lot more attention than everybody else on the team because you ain't even playing.
Right. So I'm just, I'm in there walking around like, yeah, I'm here. What's up? Yeah. You see who had the game?
Yeah, we eat at Mr. Charles, nigga.
What's up?
What are you eating?
Okay, cool.
But then it's like, Travis, they already won two championships, right?
So it's not like he needs the attention,
but sometimes when you bring in something like a Taylor Swift to the table.
My swagger on 1,000, man.
Because now the teammates got to ask him for autographs.
He's like, hey, listen, man, I don't even...
They was hype when she was at that first game.
They showed clips of the guys like...
But then it's like, all right, now she's been here like 10 times.
All right, here she go again.
Here she go again.
Look, here she go.
But like I said, that's what she's like at the music events, the games.
She's like, I don't think she's doing it for any type of attention.
I think she just is being herself.
To be honest, when you got that in the locker room, right,
it makes everybody look at they girl different.
They got to upgrade it.
They got to start upgrading, man.
Especially Patrick Mahomes.
You better go get Oprah.
You got 500. You got to go get Oprah, boy. You got 500, man. Especially Patrick Mahomes. You better go get Oprah. You got 500.
You got 500, boy.
I'm just saying, you got to beat that.
You can't date regular.
Come on, man. You the star. You got to.
Or you got to have three regulars.
Three or four regulars.
To match my one super.
I got a super. You got to have at least
four regulars. you already know his birthday
He probably gonna get it like a bugatti some shit your girl buying you motherfucking sweaters
You gotta trade him
I don't like this motherfucker to keep this thing moving before, I just want to apologize to Kris Jenner and the entire Kardashian family.
I think they're wallets.
They're wallets is fine.
They ain't paying attention.
We're not trying to have OJ in this neighborhood
how about you, Tommy?
Listen, man, relax, OJ.
Relax, man.
So you saying, you saying?
No, no, I'm not.
What you saying?
You saying, you saying?
Yo.
I'm saying, man.
Y'all gonna give me a little different now.
I don't have y'all bread. Yeah, she look like Kardashian now. She look like Kim now. She got rid of the juice. All right, let's keep this thing moving
Let's go
Ready man, you ain't wrote none of them bar. You just off the top. I'm off the top of the day
I'm about I got a pre-aid. I'm white and I'm Caucasian. I use that
for homes all the time.
One of the greatest bars of all time.
I'm blazing!
But let's talk about the WNBA right now.
Finals kick off this weekend.
Scriptwriters got their wish.
Aces and Liberty.
Set to square off in a matchup of the league's two super teams.
Aces are defending champs.
The Liberty are making their first finals appearance in 2002.
But they've kind of been given an Aces that work this season.
They were 3-2 in the Commissioner's Cup.
So, Lexi, we'll start with you.
Will the Aces repeat, or are the Liberty ready to win the first ship in franchise history?
This is tough because, obviously, they've been the most dominant teams all season long.
My pick is the Liberty because of how they've been playing all season long against the Aces.
And I just think for them, they just have a really bad matchup problem.
And Candice Parker was the solve for that, and she hasn't been healthy to help them.
So I just think that that matchup, I mean, having JJ and Stewie,
there's not much anybody can do with those two.
So my pick is the Liberty.
I think they're going to have to steal one in Vegas
to start off.
But if they don't,
then they have to win their two in New York.
But I'm excited.
It's going to be a great finals.
Well, let's talk hoop then.
I want to know what the matchup problem is
because I look at both teams and I'm like,
all right, you got Kelsey, you got Carissa.
What's her name?
Who?
Gray.
Chelsea.
Chelsea Gray.
Chelsea Gray, Chelsea Plum.
Then you got, you know, Asia.
Then you got the other side.
They got, you know, Vander Sloot and Sabrina and Brianna.
And it's like, okay, where is the mismatch there?
Is it the coaching?
Is it the style of play?
Like, when I'm watching, I understand the difference,
but I see it being a very, very good series
where it's up in the air.
And it's like, it's giving the WNBA a real vibe
that they never really had,
where we can watch and be in anticipation of a good game.
Yeah.
And that's something I'm like, yo. I think the matchup issue is, as incredible and dominant as Asia is, she doesn't have
the three ball, and Stewie does.
So I'm not sure if Asia's going to get that matchup, probably.
Obviously, she's more than capable of guarding Stewie, but that three-point line for the
Liberty is everything.
And when they're hitting threes, they are unstoppable down here. But when they're not
hitting threes... Live by, die by.
Yeah. I'm going Vegas.
He's all aged, huh? I'm going Vegas. I mean, you know, best team
in the league. Best home record in the league, 19 and1. So trying to steal one there is damn near impossible
because they only lost one.
And even though, you know, their New York is better on the road,
they've lost five games at home,
so they are shown that they don't play the same at home.
So I personally give the advantage to Vegas for the back-to-back.
Back-to-back. So, we saw you talk about it before. What does this Vegas for the back-to-back. Back-to-back.
So you talked about it before.
What does this mean for the league, though?
This probably could be the most watched WNBA finals.
It's going to be a point of viewing.
Everybody's going to watch this game.
So just in terms of league growth and keeping it on that right trajectory,
I think playing the Commissioner's Cup was like the fifth highest rated game
all the time on ESPN2 for WNBA.
Yeah.
So what does it mean just in terms of the league in the future?
Like we said, script writers.
Yeah.
It worked out.
The fact that we're able to even say that now in our league is fun.
Like that's like the running joke in all the other professional leagues is, you know, the script is written before the season even starts.
Storytelling is huge with sports now.
And like I think this is the first season
where they've gotten it right for the most part.
I think there was like some, you know,
misses throughout the season,
but now everything can't be perfect.
But from a player's perspective,
you see two teams that have an ownership
and coaches and GMs
and all these people that are like
investing in their players and their team.
Vegas has a beautiful practice facility now.
Have you been in there?
Yes.
It's what, a $40 million facility?
Oh my gosh.
We walked in and we were just immediately pissed.
Pissed.
It's the first facility just dedicated to a WNBA team, right?
They don't got to share anything.
It's their joint.
Seattle is going to have one, I think this upcoming season, okay
And I hope more teams are able to have their own facilities. We're cracking with this part
It's all got bread. I mean all the owners are billionaires. No exactly so it's about caring
You have to give a fuck
So for us
I'm just I am happy that those two teams are in the finals because you see you have to invest in your players.
You have to invest in your organization if you want to see success.
Now, maybe 10 years ago, that wasn't the case.
But it's 2023. Things are different.
Players are taking control of their narratives, their brands.
So they got to back it up.
So I'm happy for the league. It's going to be fun.
I'm definitely going to be tapped in.
And I'm not cheering for anybody.
But we talked about, you know, even at the dinner,
we talked about how that investment between those, what, two teams
trickles down to the players and their will to win, their want to, and then trying to pick a face that can actually promote
the want to from the outside, from the other young girls.
We talked about the juju thing being the face of the whole WNBA down the line, but now picking
a girl or a few of them that can actually carry the torch, right?
But then you look at the Sparks.
We talked about the legacy of the LA Sparks
and why it's been difficult for the last five or six years
for them to reach that pinnacle where they used to be
with Candace and Lisa Leslie and all of them.
And it's like, what's that struggle and why?
You know, when you guys got the money to invest into the Sparks,
but you're not making the moves to, you know,
catapult everybody up.
So it's like, what's the hesitation?
What's the holdup?
I mean, this was only my second season with the Sparks.
So, you know, I came into kind of like the rebuilding of it.
We just are trying to find an identity, I think.
And, I mean, I've talked to Nneka about this.
Like, we're not leaning into like the glitz and glamour of being the Los Angeles Sparks.
Like, for some reason, like, because we're females or women, like, they want, like, you cannot be that in the W.
Like, you can't be the L.A. Sparks.
Like, but that's what we want. That's what LA is.
That's what the Lakers are. That's who you are. That's what the Lakers are.
Hollywood. Hollywood. And we're just not leaning into that. And I hope that moving forward,
that's what we can do. We have the players to do it. Me, Chanae, Nneka, D'Erika.
Y'all know y'all have social media, right? Oh, we didn't even...
Y'all got social media where y' didn't even y'all got social media
don't fumble it back
no I'm saying y'all can
now do that y'all said
oh yeah I mean and we absolutely do and we have
but we still need the organization
the machine you need the machine
yeah you need a machine I mean I think Vegas
and New York probably have the
best social media teams
when I was in Chicago,
we had a really good social media team.
And it's huge. And five
years ago, that didn't matter.
And now it's like everything.
I give y'all a discount. I give them Lexi Brown
discount. But I don't want to be a little too
controversial. They're selling to the wrong audience.
Yeah. And they should
be selling to
the middle-aged girls. you know, 11 to 21.
Yeah.
Right?
That should be the audience.
Yeah.
Not family and little kids.
Right.
Right?
I agree.
That TikTok era.
Yes.
Yes.
Yeah.
Just like Locker Room, I know half y'all dance and do all that silly TikTok dance.
That should be promoted to the group that is doing it
Too yeah, right. It's just so many things that's just missing like
Too old up at the top probably I mean, I think the best we did this season is we had a partnership with urban decay
Which is a makeup company
So like every all of our walk-in pictures and stuff for like spot brought to you by urban decay
I thought was amazing and I think that know, a step in the right direction.
You know, skincare, hair, makeup.
Like, I just think that's like a gold mine
for female athletes.
So I'm glad that brands are now like tapping in.
Well, as you look at the market though,
you look at New York, it's a market.
Vegas, emerging market.
LA is cornerstone market.
So it's Hollywood. It should be glitz and glamour
galore. And like you said, if you guys are doing the social media pushing, but they're not pushing
you from the back, like we're literally, the machine is going to promote this. It's going to
be one-sided because now you guys look like you're overdoing it out here, trying to be Hollywood.
But it's the access as well. If you play for the the Lakers or the Clippers if you want to go to Delilah
I'm in there. Did you say Clippers?
It's LA. I'm just saying this with Lakers or Clippers you moving around in LA you got access right, right?
So with the same access I'm not letting a Clipper in a club like that if they better be winning
You're not letting Paul George in a man?
Why? Clipper in a club like that if they better be winning you're not there Paul George in a man. Yeah, why is him?
Hell no
Hey Jones, hell. Papa Jones can't get in.
Papa work in the back, man.
You got to let him in.
He work here.
Clippers, Clippers, y'all, y'all.
We got to be like, we got to have room.
I mean, hold on, you know.
Hold on.
Make sure, you know, in court.
Okay.
They got to get there early.
They should get the treatment that they get anyway from the fans.
What about the Chargers?
Huh?
What are the Chargers?
They here?
The L.A. Chargers, yeah. I don't the Chargers? They here la Chargers you watch for I'm
La la Rams. I'm la Raiders
It's very Vegas. Thank you. Thank you. You remember yeah
About 11 You gotta be there real early. 10, 47.
You got to be there real ugly.
I mean, not real ugly.
Real ugly.
You got to be there real early, and you got to have a table.
Got to.
Most people call on the Clippers the ugly friend.
Damn, man.
That's what he's doing.
The ugly friend.
The ugly friend.
Ugly friend get things done sometimes.
Just be real.
Bottom line is, if they give the access to the woman's side of it,
the Sparks or LA,
make it that way.
At least make it seem that way.
At the end of the day,
we got to start winning.
There you go.
Point blank.
Coming from putting
all that other stuff aside,
as a hooper,
basketball player,
we have to start winning.
Whatever we have or don't have.
Teams in the past have less
and still manage to get shit done.
So we got to be able to do that.
Speaking of a team that needs to start winning
and getting shit done,
in the aftermath of the Bucks and Celtics trades,
the reigning MVP took to Twitter
to do a little trolling.
MB posted the following tweet on Sunday,
I believe in the wake of the drew holiday to the Celtics
The offseason was fun laughing my ass off so immediate day
He kind of clarified and said he was just going back with fans
and this wasn't a shot at the team or the Sixers and the
The lack of work they did in addressing this roster
But Mb got to be feeling some type of way with the Sixers fired Doc Rivers. I replaced him with Nick nurse
Hmm Harden, you know doing hard shit hard to show up the sisters media day today or on Monday
Last week he had the bottle girls doing the talking for me. It got fine before from running his mouth
I think we had the photo of you know
He needed to start a whole clothing line.
Oh, my God.
In the club again.
Here you go, James.
Yeah.
Sending the wrong fucking message, man.
Yeah.
From the club.
This happy place.
We look at the Sixers.
They brought back Neverland.
They brought back Restricted Free Agent Paul Reed,
signed Pat Bev, Kelly Oubre, Mo Bamba, Danny Green,
but lost Georges Niang, McDaniels, and Shaq Milton.
I'm just reading off, Gil.
No, can I host?
I mean, you can.
No, but you aren't doing any shit.
Like, you should just say the people that actually matter.
The people that matter.
We don't need...
Absolutely nobody on that God damn TV now.
Gil, these are black lives.
They all matter.
Absolutely nobody on that TV.
All these black lives matter, Gil.
The only thing that matters is Joel ain't lose. He didn't leave. Joel is lives matter, Gil. The only thing that matters, the only thing that matters,
Joel ain't lose.
He didn't leave.
Joel is still there.
It's only thing that matters.
I painted the picture, though.
When I was on the bench, nobody said my name.
So don't be saying their name on god damn like, no.
They got to earn their name.
I'm hearing names I've never even heard of.
We're not going to do that.
Gil, we have Pat Bev on the whole.
Don't say that name again, man.
You said that shit out loud. What you doing?
Say that sit out loud. Yeah, you know, I'm a quitter name the first three and we do it
I have to tell you the people what happened though, cuz I people don't care about you know what you know
What do your job what happened to the white couch?
It's in the hook because we're going yeah
me and homies gonna rob you i need a white couch for the white couch i had to go in black
because we're black black black but this morning woads reported that james harden is expected to
report to sixers training camp in colorado as early as today just trying to get out there for
dm this dude's wild colorado's cracking right now. Yeah, it's cracking.
Be careful.
Just talking about him being,
oh, we got the woad?
Okay, shout out woad.
Maybe it's like his third appearance on the show.
Why they at Colorado State University?
At least do it at... Do they normally have training camp in Colorado?
They're trying to get them niggas in shape.
They're trying to get them in shape.
Oh, yeah, because if they told me I was doing training camp in Colorado, I would cry.
Oh my gosh.
Different, different, different.
The altitude is way different.
Oh my gosh.
Horrible.
It's hard.
It don't mean nothing.
You're going to be in shape while you're there.
When you leave, you're going to be out of shape.
You're going to be right back.
You're not a fan of a lot of people.
Very true.
Very true.
I'm not a fan of stupid shit.
They're like, we need to train with the Nuggets.
Yeah.
I mean, it's not like you are housed there.
You go in there for a week or two, then you're going back home, be there for a week, you're
back to normal.
Right, back to normal.
All that shit you did on there means nothing.
They paid a king 50 grand to come work with him and be into how you...
No.
Don't get started, because you know I'm ready to cook on that subject.
I'm ready to cook on that subject. Y'all didn't even include me on that shit.
I'm paying $50,000.
You paying?
Goddamn right.
Shit, it ain't got no Pat Beverly.
Oh, gosh.
So you paying $50,000 for him to work you out?
I'm paying $50,000 for access, tutelage, mentorship,
and to be able to say, hey, man, I used to work out with Akeem a lot.
Oh, okay, that's what it is.
50,000 to say you worked out with him.
And learn whatever he know.
And learn what he know.
Because we got game.
And we got knowledge and wisdom of the game.
Not just moves.
Not just moves.
No, no, no, that sounds great.
But after the week is over, is it like done? Yes. No, no, it's not. You can No, that sounds great. The week is over. Is it like done?
No, you can't know it's not hit. Yes, you can later and be you got access this
Yes, he's watching the game. Yeah, he's not watching
He's watching the game
He was watching the games and they wouldn't all be doing the same moves because he will watch and understand their their their their
Movement to realize you can't do it like this. Let me change it for your body.
That ain't how it works, though.
That ain't how the training works.
You know that ain't how training works.
Because if you don't know a move,
all them travelings that you were saying on TV, right?
You were like, travel, travel.
If you ain't never done the move,
you're going to travel until you get it.
Because it's called training.
We're training for the move to get it right.
Of course we're not going to do it like Hakeem.
He's been doing it since he was 10. That's why he's teaching us move to get it right. Of course we're not going to do it like Hakeem. He's been doing it since he was 10.
That's why he's teaching us how to do it.
So how many times do I need to travel before you fucking correct me for $50,000?
Fuck that.
I'm going to travel for a week.
How many times are you going to travel?
Forget the money.
How many times are you going to travel before I step in and say, hold on, you're traveling. He's stepping in after every travel
Hey, bro, you're doing it wrong. Do it again. No, no, no, no, you're doing it wrong the cuts
There's four minutes. It's four minutes 85% rate of trap. Yes
No correction first session you can tell first session by the fifth session ain't no travels my son won't
My son won't travel after the first one't no travels. My son won't travel
after the first one. Because when he
travel the first time, I'm going to break
it down to show him. It don't mean
he going to get it. It don't
mean he going to get it because you're breaking it down
all good. Do it like this.
It don't mean he ain't going to travel
because if you're not going to say travel, I'm going to say, hey,
that's a travel. Do that shit again.
No, it's a travel. Do it again. I'm going to show him why he's traveling. But you're not gonna say travel I'm gonna say hey, that's a travel. That'll do that shit again No, it's a travel do it again
I'm gonna show my traveling but you gonna keep doing it till you do it right gonna show him why he's traveling of course
I'm gonna show why his feet is traveling. I'm not gonna let him finish the move to travel
First of all, that's where there's no defense when the travel is happening. That's worth
We talk about stupid we talking about training right now. That's worth $50,000. That sounds stupid. You sound stupid. We talking about training right now that's worth
$50,000 right now. You sound stupid.
We talking about $50,000 worth of
fucking training right now. Do the move.
Do the move until you get it.
Nobody's there and you're
traveling. That is a problem.
You know what makes it look stupid?
That I pointed
out that every single client
is traveling.
Every move. And then y'all I pointed out that every single client is traveling every move and
then Y'all are throwing in who he is which makes it worse
I would rather you travel on someone who wasn't his cap all the famous you know, you're happy
He's top 20 or top three your cat his whole client list is trapped. You know, you're capping
Because Kobe Bryant was not traveling cuz Kobe Bryant was Kobe fucking Brian
Exactly because those moves that he's making can be moved can be made on on the perimeter in the mid post and in the low post
How about that? You know why you know why because it's called footwork cuz Kobe footwork is not called post work. It's called
Footwork in the detail that Kobe have footwork before he went to Hakeem. Yes, same thing with mellow not name
Did he have this footwork? Yes, he did. No, he did. That's why he went down there. No, that's why he went
I need a penis. How about this? I'm tired of everybody using the Kobe and
Carmelo and little brawn will you want to use the veil McGee?
No, you want to use the veil McGeeee? No, no, no. Because you want to use JaVale McGee. Name me. It's like, oh, look at JaVale.
And Amari's traveling.
But you're not going to say about what Kobe, LeBron, and Mello was doing.
They didn't do that.
You got 50 big men that's went to his camp.
50 since 2000.
Oh, trust me.
I've done this research.
Name me one person that's done the move correctly in the game.
Name one person that's gotten better working with in the game name one person that's
gotten better working
with them. Don't matter. Don't worry.
It don't matter. I know it don't matter.
Because we can name other trainers
who have trained other players
who players don't use their moves
in games. They just went to train with these
guys and they ain't get better
and they didn't do all the shit that you're just saying right
now because it's called training.
I might go train with somebody
and learn how to shoot this way and not
take none of that into the game because
it wasn't really a part of my game.
I just wanted to know how it was
when he released the shot and what made it go
in so fluidly. That's not my style
but I learned something. Something new.
Right? So if we say Joel
and B is little hook him I
Think we all can make the assessment that that's a fair comparison. Yes. Yes, but okay
So if he's little Akeem, he's the MVP 30 points a game. How the hell is
Hakeem Olajuwon smooths irrelevant. He's training him or did he learn it? I'm not talking about training
I'm just eating out with him. How is little Akeem and those
moves that Akeem are making
irrelevant when he averaged 30
a game and he's the MVP?
Irrelevant to the people that's going.
Now, Giannis is going. And we said
this is the point we made about Giannis.
Giannis,
if Joel Embiid had
Giannis' motor, what would he be?
Gilbert said all world.
Mm-hmm.
Right?
And I said, damn, that makes sense because if Yannis, with his energy, if he had Joel Embiid's footwork, he would be what?
All world.
Okay.
So if Joel Embiid is little Hakeem and Yannnis wants to go work out with Hakeem.
Seems like to me he wants to be all world.
That makes sense.
We are in business.
It sounds like this nigga's making the right choice for me for $50,000, and I made, what, $200 million?
Man, that's James Harden in the club.
We spending that bread easy for a week. Oh, why would we complain?
Okay, that's nothing. Are you done? Yes. Okay, cuz you was eating I'll pass the mother you was eating
He wasn't eating good, but he was eating
fried chicken fried chicken and mac and cheese so
Embiid played soccer his footwork was instilled with him since 10 years old, right?
Which means any move I give him, he can do it.
Well, unfortunately, if you think you're going to get footwork
a week before training camp, I don't give a fuck who,
you can go to God.
You can go to God to get your footwork.
You think you're going to get your footwork
four days before training camp and be all world.
No, no, no one said that, Gilbert. Don't insinuate. No, no, which no one said that Gilbert
No, I'm not because if you was really because if you're a new eat because if he was really dedicated because there's a difference between
Skill work and working out there's two difference
When you want to inherit a skill
You do that shit from the beginning of the summer.
I don't go to Hakeem a week before training camp
just to say I went to Hakeem
for clicks and views.
If I'm going to go to Hakeem,
I'm going to go to Hakeem
as soon as the season's over with.
And we're going to start my program there.
Why did he go to Hakeem, Gil? I don't give a I'm gonna fuck why he you need to because it's a part of the context
I don't he is a countryman. He is his idol
fellow African Nigerian
Hey, I worked out with Kobe and I worked out with kg. I have the opportunity to go work out with Hakeem Olajuwon
I'm gonna take that our three days clickbait
I'm gonna do that right now. Let's say your clickbait. Let's just say this for sake of argument
You don't use none of the moves you learn from a team, right?
You're not gonna use them because you don't know them because you don't know them
Yeah, right, but you you've learned what he's taught you outside of the footwork in the post moves
Which is how to read the game young fella When you got footwork and the post moves, which is how to read the game, young fella.
When you got the ball on the post, read the game. Read the game. I'm going to sleep on this.
Read the game. Read the game. So if his assistant coaches and his coach talking to him, he got a
new coach, right? Is he supposed to adjust to the coach in the first week? So if you learn the same
shit from McKeem and you learn the same shit from Adrian Griffin,
is it not work the same
fucking way? Am I
going to stumble upon what the fuck Adrian
Griffin is saying to me after the first week? Hey, coach,
you said this. Now you're saying this.
What are we doing, man? Hey, Akeem,
man, I did the move wrong.
You know what's the great thing about this, though? The season's about to start
so we can just see
what happens. We ain ain't gonna see shit
why are we playing with ourselves like stop did you see any game film did you see them going
did you see any detail of how you're supposed to play defense if they play you this way this
is where you go i got a defender play him this way so he can do them They didn't get that on no Gilbert. They didn't get that on film. I've already called
Oh, have you know you call have you noticed I called this out not one player who's worked out with him has came to his defense
Why do you already asked? Why do they have to it's a cameo lodge one already. You don't have to defend
Hakeem Elijah watch it
You don't if you ain't you don't have to defend Hakeem Olajuwon. Shit. You don't.
If you, hey.
You don't have to.
If you call out my training, if you call out my training, I guarantee you have a whole bunch of kids I train come at your head.
Why?
Why?
Because they know your cap.
But they have to be proving that the training works, not you.
If I call out the trainer and your ass is still a bum hey man that means the trainer the trainer is not fucking working hey my nigga you
still missing shots where's your trainer bro I see why you can name me ten other
players that's training with you they all bums I see why I was eating so easy
y'all didn't know how to get better y'all don't know how to get better I
don't know what that means y'all don't know how to get y'all see y'all don't know how to get better. I don't know what that means. Y'all don't know how to get...
Y'all think this is...
Because I'm an NBA player,
I can go sit with Kobe for an hour a day for a week
and really process the information.
Learning how to watch film.
Isaiah Thomas, Jason Tatum, Kawhi Leonard,
and Paul George can all attest to it, and I think
Devin Booker too, but they're not going to come out and say it to you because they don't have to.
They can say, hey, I sat with Kobe, gave me so much fucking game, bro. We didn't even step on
the court. He didn't have to. He just told me the game. Fuck. Isaiah told you something that you missed. He said, and I quote,
Kobe watched the whole game,
detailed the whole game.
When I called him, we went the whole game.
We was on the phone for seven hours
talking about the game
and what to do for the next game
because this is how they played it on FaceTime
Is that what he said? Yes seven hours. Yes, so Kobe spent seven hours breaking down a game
he spent more time with IT on one game than Hakim and
And Yannis did in a fucking week workout. Mm-hmm
What's up? Who you think got better? Mentally.
And that was free. I don't understand.
I don't understand the reference.
The reference is
you're saying someone
gave someone some game.
I'm saying the reason why.
You ain't giving no knowledge.
You have to put time in.
You have to break it down.
What's the reason why
Kobe stayed on the phone
with him for seven hours?
Because before that, IT wasn't seeing what Kobe wanted him to see.
You're not seeing what I see, young fella.
Let me put you on game.
Let me put you on game.
Let me put you on game.
But look, this is during the season.
This is not off season where I can work with you during the summer and I can show you this, break this film down.
Let's get on the court. Let's go do this shit ain't nobody everybody's not privileged to
do that Kobe gotta pick you you can't pick Kobe what are you saying I'm saying that when you are
getting training from a top level all-time hall of famer it's a privilege okay it's a privilege
and if it costs 50,000 they could pay that 50,000 so you're saying Kobe spent 7 hours
on a game
and you're saying that I'm working
real life with this man
who's spending an hour and a half with me
and he can't tell me I'm traveling
yeah he is telling you
you're traveling
then how am I
this motherfucker JaVale McGee
that's my teammate.
Love him to death.
He was Steph Curry from the three in traveling.
Seven for eight.
He did eight moves, seven travels.
Now, Hakeem, this big legend, you can't tell me after the first time he traveled.
Hold on.
This is how you're supposed to do it.
I'm going to position you.
This is why we're going to do it. I'm going to position you. This is why we're going to do it.
You break it down like they're stupid
because they are compared to your footwork.
They're babies compared to your footwork.
So you have to break it down,
not just automatically assume
that he's going to pick it up
because he makes this money.
You're teaching footwork.
You're teaching knowledge. Then,
when I see he has it right,
I'm going to play defense on it
to see him
do it. To see if he can perfect it on
defense. Now you see why they
never got better. None of the centers
got better. Not one center
got better. There's a reason. You're betting
zero. It's a progression, Gilbert.
You can't just do it one year for a week
It's a progression. You're saying it's a progression. You're saying what I'm saying
You can't always don't call me so it's gonna cost more than 50,000
I'm gonna fuck how much it's gonna cost more listen. I miss free throw just to show you how it works
I miss free throws everybody know
In a cast series mr. Free free throws fuck them know, in the Cavs series.
Missed the free throws, fucked them off.
My brain said Nick Anderson.
Oh, shit.
I might go through the Nick Anderson shit, because that was one of my favorite players, because, you know, Orlando.
I went through every mental coach.
I want to find someone who's strong with mental.
Found Frank up in San Francisco. He was a special ops guy.
Soon as the season,
two days, I'm in San Francisco
working on my mental.
I didn't wait
a week before, motherfucker, the season
started to work on me. From the
fucking beginning,
soon as it started, because me learning
it there set me up for the rest of the season now you go look at
The let the rest of the season that's when everybody's getting ass barbecued, but my mental was different
Yeah, are you can't teach some shit in here?
You didn't know I'm sorry you didn't need to go shoot a bunch of shit
You didn't need to go do all that you decided to all you need all you need
I decided all you needed to do was get you a little release and relax
Because you was All you needed to do was get you a little release and relax.
Oh, Lord.
Because you was doing too much.
You're doing too much.
You're doing too much.
You're doing too much.
You're doing too much.
You're thinking too much.
And all I'm saying is, like, you went through all this shooting, shooting, shooting, shooting, shooting.
It's like, man, niggas, just relax, bro. You went and did all this mental coach and free throw suit
and nothing changed in your game.
Nothing changed in anything but
you just thought
now that, oh, I went through all this
shit that I should be a good player.
Ain't nothing changing in Gilbert's game. Gilbert's still
a killer. He's still a killer.
Only thing he changed is he thought
he wasn't going to miss now. Nothing changed
in my game but history.
Young, I still have the record.
I'm talking about from the free throws, man.
I still have the record.
I'm talking about from the free throws.
No, no.
I still have the record in Staples.
I have the record in the Phoenix.
Scored 60 on Kobe, 51 on Darren Williams.
I was 46 for 51 from in the game shots, in the period shots and in the half shots. I became the most deadliest man under three seconds with the ball in history
We come out in history some of the free throws though it did I
Won four games off of free throws game over. My confidence is so high
Game over. I got two free throws.
Now, y'all can go to the locker room.
This ain't last year.
This shit powerful.
So why you didn't have that mentality when you missed them free throws?
I didn't know I needed mental help.
Huh?
Didn't know it.
We hoopers.
But I know when I...
So you mean to tell me you needed more confidence?
Yes.
Okay.
That's all I wanted to hear.
Yes.
I needed a stronger mind.
It broke for a moment in the game. It broke. I broke concentration
Okay, now I had to go somewhere where they can instill
So you can still you needed an outside source to help you. Oh
Somebody else besides Gilbert made Gilbert better. Oh that sounds stupid as hell now so
Greek the freak need outside absolute to. To get his foot back.
Absolutely.
I'm asking you a question,
but I'm not insinuating anything.
I'm asking you a question.
But he went there for a couple of days in the week.
When I spent a month,
month,
six,
seven hours a day being tortured just to keep this strong,
to understand what willpower was.
So I can imply that willpower in again.
If I'd have went there an hour a day for three days,
no, no.
That's what I say.
Y'all think that you can just use your name and get people better?
Yes.
It's called inspiration.
It's inspiration, bro.
Everybody in school would get A's then. No, it's not. It's not how it works. I know that inspiration. If it was that easy, everybody in school would get aged in.
No, it's not.
It's not how it works.
I know that's not how it works.
That's not how it works, Gilbert.
I know what that is.
It's not how it works.
Exactly.
Because you have to put the work in, bro.
You can be inspired though.
You can be inspired.
If you're inspired and you don't go do the work, then it's nothing
but inspiration in its purest form.
It's like, man, I like that.
I wish I could do that.
I don't know what you're arguing about.
Because if I said that
my teacher's teaching me algebra and I go there three
days a week for an hour, will I learn
algebra? No.
So you think you can learn this high level
move just because it's the person?
No. The answer's no.
The answer's no. So yes, it was a waste
of money because you started late.
Now, if you said at the beginning, I'm going to
spend $50,000 on Hakeem, I know
mentally, okay, Hakeem has the
whole summer to work on you.
Great investment.
$50,000 a week for the whole summer?
Great investment. A week before the a week for the whole summer? Great investment.
A week before the season starts?
Get the fuck out.
Stop.
That's like trying to get in shape.
You can do shit all summer, but then you want to get in shape a week before the season starts?
You think you're going to be a motherfucker out there killing?
Giannis did not come out and say, I'm going to have the greatest footwork of all time when the season starts.
He said, I'm going down here to fuck with
my guy. I'm going down here
to fuck with my guy. I went out there
to work out. Yeah.
Don't say you're going out there for footwork. You went out
there to be worked out. He never
did. He never did.
I went to go work out. That's it.
You can't work
me out. Welcome back. Let's keep this
shit moving. You can't work me out. Welcome back. 29 good minutes to get this whole shit going. Don't work me out. Welcome back. Let's keep this shit moving. You can't work me out.
Welcome back.
29 good minutes to get this whole shit going.
Don't work me out.
Get me better.
Don't work me out.
But let's talk about Embiid now.
Embiid looking at the Celtics, looking at the Bucks, both teams getting better.
Lexi, we'll start with you.
After we get over here chilling, just marinating, let them do what they do.
But how much longer will Joel Embiid trust the process?
I just said I wasn't going to let that nigga get me today.
I got him. Got him anyway.
You know what I'm here for.
With that dumb, just dumb talk.
They're going to tune in to this championship ring at some point during the show.
They're going to show this motherfucker why I am the motherfucking energy rookie of the year, the whole nine.
Underdog Sports gave me the championship ring.
They got the ring?
The ring.
You know what I'm saying?
For a reason.
You feel me?
They sent it to me. you know what I'm saying?
They said, hey, congratulations.
Welcome back.
Can you show the people at home?
Yeah, yeah.
You can go ahead and show them.
Where y'all at?
Yeah.
Come on and tune in to this motherfucker real quick.
He do got the ring.
But, Lexi, how much longer will Joy Lynn be in trust or process?
Oh, the process is done, I think.
For me, though?
Yeah.
I don't know.
I think it was like a fun little slogan
and then it became
an expectation
and now it's just,
I think it's just the past now.
And then throwing James Harden
in his drama,
I don't think it's fair to Embiid
and I don't necessarily
love his antics or whatever,
but he's one of the most
dominant players in the league
and he deserves to be surrounded
by people that are serious about winning.
I mean, I think it's over, too.
I think it was over when they lost Jimmy Butler.
I don't think they understood the importance of Jimmy and his mental and
What he brung to someone like Embiid with that team
They just made a they made a bad investment in the wrong person. I
Think they would they pay Tobias
right, so I would I mean I would obviously know and now they should have paid, you know, Jimmy and had to, you know, to buy his walk.
I just think once they lost Jimmy, from there it was downhill because you had no self-motivation in that locker room.
So you think he's on his way out?
I mean, where are you going from here?
You've been going down.
There's nothing that's coming to save you. I mean, where are you going from here? You've been going down.
There's nothing that's coming to save you.
Processed food, like I said before.
Fuck that shit.
Get it over with.
Get them out of here.
And I said it from the beginning.
I've said it for the last three years.
Philly, making the James Harden move was the worst move they can do because it's not a
good match with them two. Joel Embiid being, you know, perceivably seen as a lazy player,
but he's still trying to give his all out there because that's the pace he moves at.
But it's like when you got the management being the management,
making the decisions they make, and always coming up short,
always in the process of something, like you always going to lose
because you got to make a change the next year.
You're making a change every year.
So when you're doing that, it's like,
yo, there's no stability.
You can't build on nothing that ain't got no foundation.
And if you're only depending on Joel Embiid
as your foundation,
and you can't really get that consistent work
for him past the playoffs,
it's like, yo, what are we doing?
We got to rebuild again in the offseason
and then again in the offseason. And you go and get a bunch of players that everybody
really don't really fear or respect, and it's like, what are we doing now? And that's why
he said what he said. He could say he wasn't trolling or he was doing the shit with the
fans, but he really meant that.
Yeah, for sure. So looking around the league, Gerald Starr, what you're looking around the
league, you know, it's basically an arms race. Now, all these teams at the high level
are competing with each other,
trying to put together the best roster.
What team would be a good fit for Joel Embiid
if he did decide to say,
fuck it, process is over, I'm out?
A great team for Embiid.
Mm.
That's tough.
How old is Embiid?
What is he?
Is he 28, 29?
28.
Google!
He's 29. Be 30 in March. Mm. How old is Embiid? What is he? How old is he? Is he 28, 29? 28. Google!
He's 29. He'll be 30 in March.
Without breaking up teams?
I mean, Golden State, you get rid of Draymond and Wiggins.
He's got to be a star for a star though. If you're rebuilding, then you probably don't want a star.
I feel like Maury's going to want a couple of stars.
If he wants a high level-
Man, listen.
We over that Maury, we want star shit.
Like you listen.
We remember, look, training camp, you didn't like this person and you got him he said we've we've we've
Stopped right you you rebuild so, you know get back a bunch of young pieces that can build with each other
Minnesota Minnesota. For Cat. And Edwards.
That could be interesting.
Nah.
That's not enough.
I'd rather give up Rudy.
I'd give up both of them.
Which one got all them pointlers at, Utah?
Who got all them dumbass picks?
Yeah.
Yeah.
You got to be somebody of value. Yeah. Yeah
You gotta be somebody of value Memphis I was thinking jaw to
Not for a job, but with
With jaw it has to be someone who's like they're young enough to build with him and you know, he gets to that
30 31 they priming. Other than that, everybody got what they need right now. You go to Dallas, they don't have enough young pieces that they can keep the people they want. For me to bring
in Embiid, I want to keep my stars and inherit him like everybody else has done so far.
Yeah.
What about a spot like OKCM? I'm just going to throw it out there.
I talked about it,
but it had to be a multi-team trade.
It had to be a blockbuster.
I feel like they got enough assets
with the picks and all that shit
where they could,
we'll give you a bunch of this shit.
But the problem is,
they're young.
Yeah.
They're still learning.
And it's like the Kings,
the Bulls,
Atlanta.
Like, you throw certain teams in there
with certain pieces
and move them around
and try to make Joel fit to a certain spot
it could potentially work
but like I said
for the Sixers
are they rebuilding
or are they going to bring in another star?
Yeah are they moving?
They want to move on from Embiid?
Does he vocalize that he wants to be out of there?
I don't necessarily want to move on from them but if I'm Embiid that he wants to be out of it I don't know say they want to move on from him
But if I'm in being I'm looking at all these other teams getting better you got James Harden who's at the shake Club?
You know not showing up telling you he wants to get trade to the Clippers
With value are you really gonna get for hard now at this point just from another team around the league bucks?
Who they giving up?
Give up Middleton. Give up Lopez.
Porter.
I mean, Portis.
And Portis.
Give me Embiid.
That's cheating.
So you keeping Brooke, too?
No.
Oh, Brooke gone.
Brooke gone.
Brooke gone.
Now I got Embiid at the five, and then I got Greek at the...
On the same team.
At the four.
In the east, we're not letting that happen.
At the four. We're not doing that in the east. With Dame. No. No,. In the East, we're not letting that happen. At the foe.
We're not doing that in the East.
With Dame.
No.
Jesus.
No, not in the East.
Adam Silver not riding with you.
Not riding with that.
Not at all.
Not happening.
Hell.
But they got the pieces, though.
Is Middleton enough to go to...
I mean, like, Middleton...
Middleton, Lopez, and Portis, gone.
Yeah.
With Maxie and Tobias.
What does that mean? Jamesis? Gone. Yeah. With Maxie and Tobias? What does that mean?
James stays?
Yeah.
Oh.
Yeah.
Keep whatever y'all want over there.
What about the Knicks?
It's New York.
Yeah, you got to come on.
All right.
I forgot.
We got New York smoke, too.
Damn.
No, I'm just saying it.
I mean, no, no, no, no, no, no.
The best thing about the Knicks fans, the best thing about the Knicks fans, the only enemy
they have is the Knicks.
That's the only team they hate in sports, right?
New York fans hate the Knicks.
That's the only team they boo.
So you ain't got to really worry about them.
They just eat each other.
That's just...
So, you know, man. We really worry about them. They just look they just eat each other as s
Like you know, you know Jersey not Jersey, but Brooklyn come in town Boston come out to in town
They boot they boo in New York Knicks when they play back Miami
And got no peeler and bam for Joel
It's just him and Jimmy you like you want to be able to keep your two stars at, so you're going to have three stars.
Everybody got three stars.
Everybody got three stars.
But we done made it without three stars, bro.
Who?
Miami.
Two out of the last four, we've made it without literally just Jimmy
because I wouldn't consider Bam, I would consider him a rising star,
but not even because he's not consistent enough to be considered a star.
So if Jimmy can get there by himself with just the confidence,
give me a beat where I got a nigga like Giannis on my squad
that can give me 30 in 10 every night.
He would get that motor right.
Then we get rid of him.
Send Kyle Lowry.
Send Kyle Lowry ass to Chicago.
Let him get back with his bromance with fucking tomorrow and give us
Caruso and Kobe white and we roll it
And we roll it not I don't think the Bulls would do you know why not?
For Kyle Lowry just to make the Mar feel good him and Lovie
Hell yeah, gonna do that shit
I think we haven't seen the last of these and it's kind of fucked up when you look at the bigger picture now
with these super-duper teams, right?
Like, we had the super team area.
Now it feels like it's shifting towards that,
where these dudes are eventually going to be like,
if I'm in B, like, yo, you got to get me with Steph.
You know, you got to get me somewhere.
Yeah.
I mean, there's no other way, because even a basic trade at this point,
if I'm looking, it's like, well, damn, did I get better than the Nuggets,
the Lakers, did I get better than the Nuggets, the Lakers? Did I get better
than the Celtics or the Bucs? If I can't say
yes, or even in theory, then I'm not
going to fucking rock with that.
You're going to send me somewhere else where I'm going to be doing the same shit
over again?
Is that how Giannis is feeling?
Getting a surprise Dame?
Because if Dame doesn't go to the Bucs,
the Bucs is in the same position
that Philly is in. It's kind of like, we got the same fucking team, man. What are we going to the Bucs, the Bucs is in the same position that Philly is in.
It's kind of like, we got the same fucking team,
and what are we going to do?
Get swept up the fucking... But what's the difference with the Bucs
is obviously Giannis was hurt in that first round
when they lost to the Heat.
If that squad is healthy...
No, I watched that game.
I watched that game.
In theory, though.
I mean, in theory, but listen.
As a player, when like fall somewhere, right,
and you go into that summer, like you're watching teams improve.
Yeah.
And when a general manager says, we're going to sign our players back, that's not an improvement.
No.
No.
That's not an, motherfucker signing the dude who averaged 12, that's not an improvement. That's not an... Motherfucker signing
the dude who averaged... That ain't an improvement.
Signing, we're going to keep our own
players like you... He just
signed this person. They just signed this person.
They got better.
We're just staying the same when we sign
our player back. We're not getting better.
And I hate when teams go
into the summer thinking they're just good.
How they are.
No, you have.
People like Denver, we won a championship.
Everybody's coming after us.
Yep.
Right?
We got to load up.
They loading up.
We can't just say, yeah, we was good.
We good like this.
No.
You got to get better.
You got to get better.
Like, go to state.
They lost.
They lost.
Yep.
KD, please, come on over. You're adding KD to state they lost they lost. Yep, Katie, please come on over
You had Katie do a 73 way to come on. I mean like y'all they got to really think
like we lose we said
We 73 and 9 and guys let me three and nine got losing a championship, right?
And then we go get the number one score in the game. Hmm
What did Cleveland do they did nothing they did
That's I'm saying what you think is gonna happen now you were down 3-1 to the team Oh, so that was that you were down 3-1 to this team. They just they just got this man and you did nothing
And you did nothing now that but did nothing? No. But that's
what I'm saying. You can't go off the
height, but it's not about
winning for the most part. Unless you're
in that situation. There's 30 teams.
Only 5 actually want to win the
championship. So there's 25
fan bases out there. Look,
your team ain't trying to win. There's only 5
trying to win the championship. You got
20, 10 trying to make the win. There's only five trying to win a championship. You got 20,
10 trying to
make the playoffs. Like, that's their
thing. We need to make the playoffs this year.
The other ones, their market is so good, they don't really give a
fuck about what you're talking about. Because the fans are going to come
anyway. You know, and that's
just the reality of sports.
To see the other teams.
Like football. Dallas.
You really think
the owner really care like that?
Does not.
It's America's team.
Every year, they're going to be delusional.
And get boom, boom, boom.
Two, three years.
I'll just sign one big name.
Yeah.
Yeah.
We got here.
We're about to go to the chips.
They lose for the next four years.
Sign somebody.
They're not trying to win no chips.
They'll make the most money, which is so insane.
Yeah.
Them tickets are sold, man.
That's the business out here.
So just going to hit Harden real quick,
then we're going to move on to a team that I feel like
did get better by re-signing their players,
but we'll talk about them in a second.
Given James Harden's track record in recent years,
forcing his way out multiple teams,
do you feel like the NBA is over Harden's antics or we really get away with this again?
NBA
I'm just saying the league the teams in the league
The owners in the league now if I'm the Sixers trying to trade Harden and I'm another I'm not gonna give you
Top dollar for our in like no one's gonna give you top dollar for a guy who wants to leave anyway
All right, if that guy wants to leave I don't need to give you top dollar for it, right?
That's not how.
If you want to get rid
of your Maybach,
you're like,
I don't want this shit no more.
Cool.
Well, I got 50 grand on it.
Whatever value you have on them
is not the value I'm going to pay
because I know you don't
want it anymore.
Right.
Right, so...
Like when dude tried to sell his PS5
and they offered him 20 bucks. You want to get rid of him. Right, you, um... Like when Duke tried to sell his PS5 and they offered him 20 bucks.
Now you want to get rid of him.
Right.
You don't want it.
Right.
If I called you and say, hey man, we want James Harden back, what you want?
Yeah, now you get like, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Give me seven draft picks, give me this person.
That's how that sounds.
But the fact that he don't want to be there, you don't want him there, you got to, sorry,
you got to take what you can get. So is at this
point, James asking, is he
asking to go to a specific team?
He's asked to go to the Clippers? He said he wanted to go. I'm asking
what the reports are. He wants to go to the Clippers.
Clippers, in theory,
have the pieces to get it done. But again, like we
said, if I'm the Clippers and I know he wants to dip,
he's
out next year anyway. It's the last year of his
option. So my question is, he's in Houston and he asks out next year anyway it's the last year of his option so my question is
he's in Houston and he asks out
but they trade him to Brooklyn
he didn't want to go to Brooklyn
I thought he did
I don't think he did
I think that they traded him there
and then once he got there
he wanted to go to Philly
and then that's when he went to Philly
now he's in Philly he's been there now he don to go to Philly. And then that's when he went to Philly. Now he's in Philly.
He's been there.
Now he don't want to be there no more.
For me, it's like KGN was saying about you only get a certain amount of wiggles.
So it's like he's out of his wiggles.
So now wherever you go now, they're not going to tolerate the fact that you could be there for a year and then want to ask out again.
Why are we giving you this kind of leeway when you're not producing championships?
If you're producing championships, hey, man, what you want?
Where you want to go?
Because we know you're going to get there and you're going to win.
If you're not getting there, you're not even getting us to the finals.
What are you asking for?
As a player, why do you?
Like, I'm petty, right?
You tell me you want to be traded to a team.
I'm not trading you that.
Right?
That's just how that works. You've been a pain in my ass.
Why am I going to reward you for that behavior?
They're, like, working backwards, in my opinion.
Like, they're both throwing shots at each other.
Everyone's looking at them like, what is going on here?
Is James a problem?
Because if he is, we don't want him.
Is Philly the problem?
We're not.
Nobody wants to go there.
So I was like, I think they're both shooting themselves in the foot as far as moving forward.
And it's not really making sense.
I would have straight said, I want to go to the Lakers.
Treat me to the Lakers.
Knowing that, oh, you want to go to the Lakers?
I'm going to send your ass to the Clippers.
That's what I'm saying.
Reverse psychology.
But let's be real.
Reverse.
Let's be real.
I'm going to take you to the place that's like, oh, you want to go to the Lakers? You want to be a star? I'm going to take you to the sister team.'s like oh you want to go late you want to be a star
I'm gonna take you to the sister team. That's where you want to go though. Let's be real though
And your prime before you got hurt you started to party in right
Did you have players on your team that party that were factor players that were like out in the clubs and doing all this shit
When you know you needed them in the games.
There was a couple or one or two?
I'm talking about like Twan, Larry.
We know the core.
No, no, no.
Karan.
Twan rarely.
Karan not so much. Our party one was Andre Blotch.
We kind of needed him.
But you wasn't dependent on him. Deshaun Stevenson.
Deshaun. Yeah. Deshaun. Probably one. Deshaun was our- So you look at that and you say, all right,
if in that particular core prime of yours, James Harden was one of the guys that could potentially
come to your team and you knew he was known for not being focused on the game, would it be
something that you welcomed in?
Do you think that you can be able to kind of harness that energy
and be like, yo, we're going to let him do him
as long as he come in and do what we need him to do?
Or are you expecting him to come in and adopt what the core guys are doing,
which are, man, we focus on trying to win this shit, my nigga.
We ain't partying. We ain't doing this.
We on this. What you on?
You have to let them be them because that's what makes them great.
So, you know, it's that old saying, if you're going with the owls at night, you better be able to soar with the eagles in the morning.
Right?
So you can party all night how you want to do.
But make sure when game time starts, you've prepared.
Right? And that was, you know, what's with the shine, right?
We don't question what the shine was doing. We know when the game started he was locked right, right, right
So we didn't have to question, you know, you know the shine what he's gonna do
We know when the game started he was locked in so same thing
You have to be able to put an environment you have to create an environment
first
For people to come absolutely right. So, you know if I'm James like listen, um
You know, you're gonna go here here here
Cool, like like as a coach to you have to really understand like your players to to make sure the schedule of how y'all
Wake up and go to sleep and all that makes sense for them.
So if you're practicing at 10, 10, 11, 30,
but you got partiers, right?
I might push it back to 11 to 12 or 12 to 1,
let them get enough rest.
So when they come to practice,
they actually are receiving the information I'm saying
versus waking them up and they just moseying on through practice and then we didn't really get shit done today.
So there's like things that you can do as an organization to feed everybody's elements.
Did you guys deal with any of that?
Like all the teams you played for in WBA, like was the partying ever an issue?
Not really.
With some players?
I mean, I did have one teammate who kind of struggled with that a little bit.
But like Gil said, if you come ready for the game, I don't care what you do in your free time.
Right.
Like, she was one of the best players on our team at the time.
And I really enjoyed being out there with her.
Because, you know, whatever she did, chose to do after game, after practice, practice that was her business but she always came ready to go right and at the end of
the day that's what it's about but i mean we don't have the luxury of like adjusting our practice
times all the time because we don't have our own facilities so i mean if we were to ever run into
a problem like that it would probably be an issue yeah um but most of the outings and stuff happen
like on the road since we don't leave same night a game
So like, you know, we'll have like an off day or something cuz it's a travel day, right?
So it's a little bit easier for us to keep our shit together. I think but like yeah, right
You know, yeah, I partied like if you a teammate, right?
What are you what are you telling the man who plays the hardest on the team or he who's the best player?
You know, I mean he's like I can say if he was the best player he's kind of late but the fact that he is running through he's
he's jumping in the stands he's sitting there going like it works for him that's his environment
for him to thrive like you know sometimes you know when we get to a certain level right because it's
mental yeah whatever meant whatever you're doing that has you mentally focused you got to
keep doing there's there's dudes that they wore the same socks right like i gotta wear the same
socks please don't touch this don't shake this hand like you'll have players yeah shooters i
don't know if you shooters if you couldn't shoot the ball i'm not shaking your hand i don't want
i don't want whatever you...
We don't want that mojo.
Sorry, you're not shooting with me.
We're going to dap up.
We're going to dap up.
We're going to do one with the left hand.
But I'm not shaking you on game day with my right hand.
But that was my superstition.
Right.
I'm not shaking.
If you can't shoot the ball, I don't want to shake your hand.
I don't want that energy.
You're going to fuck me up.
I'm going to inherit your shit.
You're going to inherit mine. We're going to switch powers or some shit.
But that was really a thing.
Like how many times during
you probably did, you have your routine,
right? Like let's say you shoot,
you do 30 minutes, you're shooting by yourself.
You got your vibe. And then
someone walk in, right?
And they look like they're about
to shoot. Did they ever fuck you up? Absolutely. Right? What you doing, right? And they look like they're about to shoot. Did that ever fuck you up?
Absolutely.
Right?
What you doing, bro?
Hold on, man.
You about to shoot?
That's what I'm saying.
It'll mess your whole mood up
because are you trying to shoot?
What you dribbling for?
What are you about to do here?
Throw some shots?
In my way, man.
It really messes you up
because a routine is what makes you
successful you like you identify i scored 30 or hit four threes with the routine with the routine
yeah yeah and you try to mimic it so when someone throws a wrench in it you know at that point when
you're off you're like because that dude right there like not i don't like I don't like homeboy
Let's keep this thing moving and shaking interesting how this hard thing is gonna play out good You had mentioned the heat a long time ago fans weren't rolling with that
They struck out a few times now
May just be thirsty enough and if they could get him to buy into heat culture Gil, you had mentioned the Heat a long time ago. Fans weren't rolling with that. They've struck out a few times now.
May just be thirsty enough.
And if they can get him to buy into Heat culture,
which I think is a humongous if,
very unlikely, but anything can happen.
I mean, listen.
I've seen Jesus walk on water.
Anything can happen.
Like, you know, Kenyon said it.
Kenyon said it.
You know, you have to be a certain type of person that wants to go to the organization.
Obviously, we see Jimmy, so you can.
And then, you know, KG was talking about, you know, that heat organization.
And it's different, right?
It's buying into being accountable.
It's buying into being accountable. It's buying into being a professional.
Right?
So it's easier for you getting drafted and you get drafted there because that's all you know.
When you've been other places and you've won, right, going there is like, hell no.
Culture shock.
Right?
You're not.
What am I?
I've been successful without this.
Right? shot. Right. You're not. What am I? I've been successful without this. Right. So you're not going to have someone like, you know, the KDs and all that who's won championships that's going to
go to that environment and you're going to torture me because this is how you think winning is.
Yep. Right. So it has to be someone who's hungry to be a star or someone that's young enough to
understand this is what I need to be successful. Yeah, for sure. They're not knowing you better.
But let's keep this thing moving.
We talked about teams just re-signing players,
but got to talk about these Los Angeles Lakers.
We're busy this offseason getting the roster right.
Why are you making that face?
I ain't making no face.
No, you're about to put the sleeve joint back on.
He's a Suns fan now.
He ain't no Lakers fan no more.
He said he's a Suns fan.
But re-signed Austin Reeves, Rui Hachimor, Jerry Vanderbilt, and D'Angelo Russell.
Addie, Gabe, Vincent, Christian Wood, Torian Prince, Jackson Hayes, and Cam Reddish.
Who still, you know, a lot of people I feel like have given up on him, but not quite ready to do that just yet.
I feel like Cam got one more in him, as the kids say.
And they had a solid draft.
Post-trader deadline, they were one of the best teams in the league rode that momentum to a western conference finals where they ended
up losing to the nuggets in the minimum amount of games allowed which was what's that called
it's called i like how you phrased it like that he thought he was slick right i'm all boys saying
sweet i like how you but y'all see your face but did the Lakers get better this offseason? I mean, as a team, you got better pieces.
You have great fill-in pieces to...
You got a team.
Is that what we want to say here?
We got a team, right?
Our problem ain't the team.
You're not excited?
Our problem is we have two star players,
and one is not healthy all the time, right?
So are our role players good enough to make up for, you know,
when, you know, Davis is out versus every team who has stars.
And that's...
If everybody's healthy, I like our unit.
Right? So, you know.
A healthy squad.
A healthy squad. I'm like, okay, we cool.
Like, I'm not saying we're going to win the championship,
but, uh...
We cool.
I think y'all got better.
We good. He said it. Huh? He said he wants to be healthy. We good. He said it.
Huh?
He said he wants to be healthy for all 82, right?
That's what he said?
Oh yeah.
He said that shit last year.
He did?
We not listening to that shit.
I wanna be.
He gonna put it in the universe for the first time, vocally.
Fuck 82, 60.
Give us a good, you know, we in LA, give us a good rollin' 60 and we rollin'.
You know, take them 22 off.
They did.
They got better.
No, we don't need 75.
You asking for a lot.
That's a lot.
But give me 60 and a good playoff.
I don't need 60.
What's the minimum?
Remember what you said about both.
65 for the all-NBA teams.
So 65 for the all-NBA.
So you're basically saying we don't want you as an all-NBA player.
We do.
We just don't care about league minimums.
It's like you said.
If you've been taking this test and you've been getting F, F, F,
when you take the test again, I'm expecting you to make a fucking F.
You ain't never, how many times have you did 65?
How many seasons have you played 65 or more?
So it's like, yo, what are we looking for AD?
We can't over, you know, try to predict that he going to do it.
And it's like, yo, he going to give us what he been giving us.
All them picks they did, everything we did this summer,
I would have used some of those trades for Dame.
To get Dame in LA?
They had the most pieces.
Yeah, I don't know if some of those pieces could be moved.
You know, NBA be on that bullshit.
You got to wait until like December 15th or whatever it
is.
I would've missed.
Them and the Lakers, man.
I think they got better.
I think honestly from the roster they had last year, they got a lot more dependable
pieces offensively and defensively.
Yeah, we might not be eighth.
We'll see where we last year.
Seventh.
Yeah, we might not be seventh.
We'll be like fourth.
But you gotta figure it out more after trade deadline after trade deadline
They were the one of the best teams in the league with the roster that they actually now, you know
More similar to what they actually have now coming into the mean we do have brawn
So, I mean we do have like a little like a point of one and a half
So being a full two anymore you won one and a half you got lemon daddy
We got so let me go talk about it
But LeBron's dedicating this season to Bronny,
who's cleared to return to play with USC, the other school in this town,
after suffering a cardiac arrest back in July and undergoing surgery.
Bron was third-team All-NBA last year, year 20, janky foot,
and the Nuggets prevented him and the Nuggets from making it out of the West.
But now we're talking about year 21, and Father Time is undefeated. So what
are your expectations for LeBron entering year
21? Same shit we got last year.
I ain't
expecting nothing less.
I'm sorry. You're not going to go. You have
a 27.8.
We don't got the
talent for you to go down to 20. Real shit.
Right? 27.0
acceptable. I'm sorry. That's where All right? 27.0? Acceptable.
I'm sorry.
That's where I see the king.
So you keeping his minutes the same too?
Yep.
Yeah.
You're 21.
So the new rule is he can't sit multiple things.
He can't sit both superstars.
So if AD out, who is going to be considered the other czar?
Lemon Daddy.
Lemon Daddy. Austin. Austin Reeves is Lemon Daddy. We're going to see how this. And who is gonna be considered the other saw Daddy
Austin Reese
How old is a and Davis 30 I believe I'm not man I got brawn I see what bra Bron doing at 39 AD I'm sorry
but you can't sit
no game
AD turns 31 in March
no game you sitting
I got a man who
I wish I was LeBron right now
and I'll start saying hey man compare me to
Michael Jordan right now
when we was at the same age was he putting up 27
nope nah he was at the same age, was he putting up 27-8?
Nope. Nope.
Nah, he was on the Wizards.
He was on the Wizards.
20 a game. 20 a game.
He was on the Wizards, but he wasn't doing
what I'm doing right now.
Jordan looked like he was old on the Wizards.
I look like I'm still 21.
All-time leading scorer.
That'd be my drop the mic and then drop the mic so nobody can talk on and leave.
You think the players are going to finesse this restriction or this resting thing?
Look, it's the league, man.
At the end of the day, they're going to figure it out.
I don't even think it's the players that's doing the rest.
And I think it is.
The staff.
It is the staff.
Like Deion, right?
When his player wanted to come back. Right? Hunter. Yeah. I think it is the staff, like Deion, right?
When his player wanted to come back, right?
Hunter.
And he said, nah, this is bigger than this game right here.
I think the staff is treating it more like an investment now than what they were doing
before.
I personally, I don't like the
concept of resting if you're healthy if you're hurt don't rush these kids back
100% but if they're if they're healthy to play there's no rest days what is
that what's the purpose of it there's no purpose right to keep you fresh like
keep me fresh then I don't that's what I want to practice that, then I don't, that's what I'm saying. I don't have to practice. That's time. I don't have to practice.
Well, like, just don't play me the whole game.
Whoa.
Yeah.
Or, like, crazy minutes.
Whoa, whoa.
Y'all is crazy talk.
I'm just saying.
Y'all crazy talk.
If we're compensating for anything.
Don't compensate on my stats.
Oh, okay.
I'm averaging 30.
You ain't going to play me 15 minutes.
No, we're not talking about that, though.
What if it's the, yeah, what if it's the play, like, I guess because that's my question. No, we're not talking about that. What if it's the play? Yeah, what if it's the play like I guess cuz that's my question like we don't know who are they trying to
punish the staff or the players because obviously all the fans think the players wake up and they're like
I don't wanna be like playing. Yeah, but y'all know that that's not really the case though, right?
You're gonna be like, I'm good. No, no, no, no, no
No
Summer see a matchup that, you know, they'll see a matchup that they don't want to go against.
I don't feel good today.
I don't feel good today, man.
I don't feel it.
You know, they said, oh, he got the cobiitis.
He got the itis.
He got the itis.
He got fleeky.
Yes.
That was that phrase when a player call in and yeah, my ankle hurt law
You got the co-eats good. Okay, you can scare that I eat it. Hey, hey, I coming to town. It's ankle hurt now
No, but that's that's a real thing. That's a real thing
The what what what people don't understand is this because I seen it with my eyes
We got the schedule, you know, the schedule comes out and the coaching staff goes through the schedule yeah right they
they look at their roster right and they do a pre-mock yep of what the season is supposed to
look like right so they'll sit there and say all right we got denver first game okay that's an l
all right we got the bucks l all right we got houston we're gonna right, we got the Bucks, L. All right, we got Houston. We're going to win that.
We got this.
And they go the whole season and come out with the record, right?
So now when the season is going, and let's say we have the Denver and the Bucks on a back-to-back.
I have two L's here.
Pull one out.
Hey, we're going to rest you.
No, they already scheduled as a loss. So, hey, we take two days get some rest get fully healthy. Yeah, or just take some rest get your body, right?
Right, so they'll do that. We got a four game trip, right?
They're gonna use those two games the rest this player to go for that win. Yep
Yep was so many variables in the lead though. So say you've got those those two games slated as hell
But Oh Joker and Yannis aren't playing. Yeah. Yeah. Do now you switch we might get we might steal one With so many variables in the league, though, so say you've got those two games slated as an L,
but, oh, Joker and Giannis aren't playing. Yeah, yeah.
Now you switch it up.
We might steal one.
And it changes our record based on the mock draft.
And I'll get you one on.
Yeah, you're going to lose games you thought you was going to win.
You're going to win games you thought.
But that's how it's like a foundation of how to win.
When can I sit up?
They don't wake up in the morning and decide yeah, these players aren't playing like I just that's not how it goes
But obviously fans think what they want
But you talk about load management rules and all that type of situation feel like LeBron
Needs to be grandfathered in it's like look once you get to a certain point
Like if you have the all-time scoring record, all right, you can do what you want to do
I feel like those rules should not apply to football.
They don't affect, I mean, it's just, listen.
Load management
was for health reasons
and health reasons only.
That's it.
Other than that, if you
didn't hurt something, you ain't
coming back from surgery,
you know what I mean, or something like that,
there's no load management on you. How does the league, I mean, or something like that, like, there's no load management on you.
I get it.
How does the league prove it?
I mean, you think about football.
Tom Brady was on the injury report every week with a shoulder,
even when he was hurt.
I mean, that was, but it was, like, notorious.
In their ways of circumventing it, I can't even say shit,
my ankle's messed up.
No, but what I'm saying, why?
Yeah.
Why your ankle hurts?
Because it's like cheating the game.
Don't cheat the game.
Like, my ankle hurt every time.
I agree.
Don't cheat the game.
You cheat yourself.
You cheat yourself, you cheat the game. That's why guys will get you. They will get you's like cheating the game don't you like my angle hurt? I don't see the game like you see yourself
They will get you cheat again. It's you ain't gonna hurt man. Put double-tape that ain't go out there and play man
Oh, I got a bruised thigh. It's a bruise
Or these broke bone it ain't a toren or at least or at least go out there and pregame and see if you can go
You know I'm saying like I'm trying but I
We all know with a bruise put some icy hot on it
Whatever that's gonna stretch that motherfucker
Guard him for a moment. He gonna shake the shit out. You gonna make him gonna make you mad you gonna forget about that
That's weird
Switch that switch that shit, man. So that's it's it's really it's really just like
You older get, you owe yourself, you owe yourself your stats.
I'm sorry.
You, like, I know LeBron ain't going to look back in history, right?
But I know Kareem do.
Kareem, thinking about them games he missed.
He missed and he didn't play and he was fucking around or whatever.
Now you, someone caught your scoring title.
I know Jordan wish he didn't retire and do all this.
Like, if I can go back in time, like, I got to think that someone is coming.
At some point in life is coming after me.
So if I'm LeBron, think about the record he had.
He should have had that three and a half years ago.
But he's, you know, he was playing all his time with like 55, 50, 45, 40, 50, 55.
Like you think about them 200 somethingsomething games. Just 100 more.
Just 100 more games.
Think about all the points you would have had.
And I respect that because that's a perspective of the individual side of how we actually view the game.
But you also owe it to your fucking teammates.
You owe it to the team to fucking play because we are out here to fucking win the game.
We're not out here for nothing else but to win the game. And if you are an asset to our team to win and you are fucking deciding not to play because you don't want to play and we need you, you owe it to us.
Like you said, don't cheat the game.
The game will cheat you.
Don't go out here thinking that you can make decisions based on knowing that you got the upper hand and you're the best player when we are the team that needs you to win games in order for you to get those
stats right you the star in order to get them stats we're gonna play for you we're gonna make
we're gonna set them screens for you to get them extra points bro because we trust you
you out here every day grinding with us to make sure that the ai side ai out there grinding and
giving his heart out,
they're going to set them fucking screens for them.
They're going to be the offense going to be set for him.
We trust him.
So let's talk about AD a little bit.
LeBron has stated previously that he's ready to pass the torch to AD and let the Lakers be his team.
He doubled down on that at Lakers Media Day telling ESPN's Dave McMenamin.
He is the face of the franchise.
You look at all these retired numbers that surround this facility, all
the greats that have come here, and AD
is one of them. So
question for all y'all, will AD ever be the
face of the Lakers as long as LeBron
is in purple and gold? No.
Nothing he can do?
Come out and kill this season,
have an MVP level season,
it's still not his thing.
I'm just saying.
LeBron James.
I mean you could be
the best player on the team
and still not be the face.
Yeah I was about to say that.
Or put up the best numbers
because LeBron is LeBron.
He's like just polarizing
in NBA.
It's not going to happen.
Not going to happen.
But he can still like
strive to have
an amazing season.
And I mean look
LeBron I think he's got
one more year after this season
barring whether or not he comes back. Do we ever because you me look LeBron things have one more year after this season to barn whether or not he
Comes back do we ever something because you talk about LeBron you're 21 you're 22 like at what point is it like all right?
We looking at it we look at we looking at it wrong
He's gonna be done and when he's done ain't no coming back
Right that that legacy is done. So I don't want to question how many years he got left
As long as hey if he wants to play ten more years we get to enjoy
Whatever he's gonna do for ten more years. Because when it's gone,
it's gone. When Jordan left and he left, it
was over. But watching Jordan,
you can see our Wizards years.
I'm just saying, this is not going to last a long time.
Listen, Jordan average, it was 20,
20. If the next year, 15,
cool. 12, cool.
Yeah, but you know
what I'm saying when you know
you would have seen that decline like we still haven't really seen that LeBron's been at 25 27
28 seems like most of my adult life like setting it up so he can ride off into the sunset which
is what he deserves yes I know that's why I said I don't how many more years he got as a fan as a
fan just in the play forever just enjoy just enjoy fan, just enjoy what we see
because we probably never see something like this again.
I'm a LeBron stan, but my point is,
you're waiting to see that drop.
Not waiting to see it, but the inevitable drop-off that any player has.
And you're still not seeing the shit.
So in reality, he could go on five to seven more years
until he's in the 15 range playing power forward exclusively
Still that's like a hundred percent on him though. Like does he want does he want to retire like that?
I think it's on Brian. Let's go
That would be so question is what's your motivation at this point? Right? You got this are you trying to obliterate the records?
Yep, so that no one can touch them. So nobody can catch you. So if that is what we're doing, sit your ass down, my nigga.
Nobody's going to touch them records anyway.
That's what Hakeem thought.
Because you are...
I mean, Kareem.
That's what Kareem thought.
When Rich came on, he talked about the legacy, right?
And how he's goaded, right?
And it had nothing to do with the stats.
It had everything to do with the expectation that was set up for LeBron.
He surpassed all of these things. It's a storybook, right? So it's like, if you're going to stay in
the league for another five years just to obliterate records, it's like, now we know what
you're playing for. So if AD's expectation is to be the face or someone's supposed to come in and
take your place, it's not going to happen based on the fact that you just want to be here for
the longevity of the points and accolades. So it's it's like if y'all not winning it's like lebron you
coming back again yeah but but is lebron making these comments his not so subtle way of telling
ad like look i didn't drove this car for long enough take the wheel dog let me chill in this
this passenger seat put my seat back and listen to the radio. And having LeBron as your passenger is like
ideal.
Is it?
Because LeBron
is going to be telling him
hey man turn right here
man you going too fast
man chill out.
It's a passenger driver.
You better say okay.
Turn this door
you better say okay.
And then look
LeBron at some point
will be like
get your ass out
let me drive man.
Look you driving
too fucking slow man.
But what I'm saying
if you're not listening
because at the end of the day,
like we were talking about earlier,
LeBron is still information in real time, right?
39, he's been there.
Like, you are playing at this level at 39 years old.
I'm 30.
I want to be able to play at your same level
nine years from now.
So I need to really absorb all of this information
as long as I'm with you.
Right?
That is his value to AD right now.
Right.
Right?
Like, he can say,
AD, take the wheel,
but if AD ain't ready to drive,
then that ain't a great leader.
Mm.
I'm giving the keys to someone
who ain't ready to drive yet,
right?
You can say you're ready to drive, but you ain't.
I can still drive.
Is that the problem then?
What?
He don't want the keys?
But anybody want the keys?
No, no, no.
He said that he's not a good teacher if he ain't,
if I'm trying to give him the keys and he still can't drive it.
Is it that the teaching LeBron's trying to give him is not getting through to him and he still can't drive the ship?
No, it ain't about like you.
Because he's asking them, are you going to take them off of the keys?
Hey, man.
Drive, my brother.
Some people just ain't capable.
He didn't have to give the keys to Kyrie for Kyrie to beat Kyrie in the last five minutes
of the game.
He's been driving that bitch since he was 13.
Kyrie, ugh.
Gotcha.
Yeah, yeah.
Dwyane Wade, ugh.
Gotcha, gotcha.
Right, there was no, right, so you have to really say, I got this, dawg.
Believe in me.
You believe in me, let me go ahead and do my thing.
So no matter how many times he's trying to pass the torch, if I'm sitting here like this
and you playing like you can't see it,
you hear it like,
there's nothing you can do.
Right?
I mean, the only way you do it
is like, I'm retired.
And then let you hold the torch
and then I come back
in the middle of the season.
You're forced to be number one.
Like, there's, like,
come on.
I mean, did we see that with MJ and Scottie a little bit?
Yeah, like...
Scottie had to.
Yeah, Scottie had to.
But now it's like, okay, it's my third MVP vote,
and this is my shit now.
Like, you know, we making deep playoff runs.
Oh, here this nigga come back.
Sit your ass down, boy.
Yeah, all right, here you go.
But playing for...
Here you go.
But I know, listen, when people say, you know plan for stats is wrong
Then I will I will question then why did Michael Jordan play after 92?
Have you won his first championship? Hmm because for some reason
Which is weird
After Michael Jordan won his first chip by December of that second that second run
He was
Considered the greatest player to ever walk the planet with one championship
All right, could have stopped there 91 91 versus Lakers like once he won that first championship, going into the second one around December,
midway through,
this is the greatest man to ever walk the planet
with one chip.
So what was the point of playing after that?
Every championship after that was basically just to fuck you.
Technically.
In that theory.
He was actually the reason why he was continuing
because Magic and Burr had won multiples.
Yeah, but they already said he's better than those five rings. Of course. To him, he needed to prove that the reason why he was continuing because magic and bird had won multiples but
they already said he's better than those five rings of course to him he needed to
prove that I can go win multiple rings like they did because they already
considered me the best I'm already considered it was just it's just weird
like damn like like one ring and this is the best it's weird because they don't
use that ring shit they didn't use the ring talk with MJ
No, that's a little anti-lebron sling, you know, no, no, I'm just saying no, but I mean it's like once he established
He was the best player to ever play with one ring. Everybody got five. You're like you're five don't count. This is him
No, but I so it's like, you know, why do you ever beat that?
But you know why though because before he wanted chip they had never seen anything like him. No, that's it's like you know why you ever beat that but you know why though because before he won a chip they had
Never seen anything like him. No, but that's what I'm saying. It's like how do you beat that?
They coined this man the best ever after one ship like how do you how do you beat it when they they added?
FOMO
You saw no chips to it. It's like I can't beat this legacy man. You saw it with will I'm just saying, you know
No, I'm talking about as far as how
Bird do a bird compared when he seemed the 63 in the garden
He's like we ain't this is like Jesus walked in
Black suit like we ain't never seen nothing like this before my guard spot
I feel like when it's a big man same thing with Korean why he never gets to love he deserves
We're supposed to do it. You just are you big you? Yeah, it's easier. You know images this but like shit. I don't try to make a sky hook from 17 feet and that shit is difficult
It's probably harder if your hands are bigger
I'm just being honest, but you go back and watch old Kareem and what he's able to do
That's just like a layup form, but that's neither here nor there
But we look at the Lakers they defyied the odds last season, reached the Western Conference
Finals based on how they started. Nobody
thought that that's where the season would end.
And yes, we'll say the word, they got swept by Joker
in them. And they
gave the Nuggets their credit, but they ain't
feeling all the shit talking coming from Michael Malone
and the rest of the team.
It was just a lot of
the talking
and all of Lakers. It was just so much of that the talking and all the Lakers.
It was just so much of that going on.
Like, all right, we get it, y'all won.
But, you know, I think, you know, me and Brian had some conversations.
It's like we can't wait.
So, you know, we talked about the Nuggets.
They didn't necessarily get better,
but they do have arguably the best player in the league in Joker.
Do the Lakers want smoke with the Nuggets this season. I
Think so
They packed them up quick like you got a but some energy for this roster enough to be like we can get with the Nuggets
Can I go first?
Yeah, I think the Lakers caught the tail end. This is what me and him
was talking about early on. He
wanted to go through the play-in
to make it because it was an easier
route. And I was saying
don't do the play-in because
you're going to tire out by the time
you get there. Oh, you wanted to see the Nuggets earlier?
We wanted to get past
the teams we knew we could get past
without going through the play-in
because we're playing more games and the risk of injury was going to be higher for ad right so by
the time they got to the nuggets it looked like they was too tired to compete right so now him
saying that they want to see them like yeah we can't wait it's like you got a new team you
refurbished you don't have to really depend on the injuries.
They got a better chance of really sweeping the nuggets, I think, because it's a different team that's more reliable. And if they don't go through the play-in and play all those games in the
playoffs, tire out, and then you're just depending on LeBron to get us over the hump.
So you say see them earlier as opposed to later. Or just get yourself
in a better position where you're not
seeing them in the
fourth stage of the playoffs.
And more so the
third, maybe the second.
I mean, I basically broke out right.
Lakers are seventh, beat the Grizzlies.
Yeah, if they would have been
in that eighth seed, they would have
played Denver first
round.
And they had to go from Denver to potentially if they did win-
I think they had a better chance of beating Denver in that early round.
Who made that comment?
Which one?
That one that we- Anthony Davis.
The problem with that is he got to guard the man on the other side that was whooping his
ass the first time so
If I'm Andy, it is I don't care about what the coach Malone to talk about
I care about what that Joker did and obviously we seen how he into the country. Hmm. No fucks given
Ain't smiling who Sanders? Oh, no
Focus on us. I don't care about Sanders, Colorado Bulls.
I don't know that nigga.
I don't fuck with that nigga.
I don't care about the rappers doing the duggie on the field and shit.
Who?
I don't care about none of that.
What I care about is I came to this country to do one thing.
I came to work.
So now the fact that I got somebody yapping that I've already handed that barbecue chicken to.
Sometimes, hey, you can have win, you getting done up.
Listen, the only person who can talk that shit, LeBron, because he ain't got the same
matchup.
If you the point guard, you don't want to say nothing to Murray either.
I don't want to talk trash to the dude that was whooping my ass because obviously I just put some fire in his back.
It's personal now.
You know what I mean?
You can sweep me.
It's what?
You sweep my team, and I gave you 40, 20, and 15 a game.
You ain't sleeping great that night.
Say them numbers again.
I just made it up.
2K numbers.
It's 2K numbers, you know, stamina off.
Stamina off.
Arcade.
It's on arcade.
Arcade mode.
Arcade mode, yeah.
Like I said, stamina off.
So Joker against the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals, 28, 15, and 12.
Jesus. Jesus.
Shit.
Shit, he wasn't that far off.
He wasn't that far off.
50 from the field, 47 from three.
That's cheeky.
You're talking about they talk too much.
Listen, they whooped your ass like that, they can say whatever they want.
I'm sorry.
That's just the point of it.
You get smacked up like that that if you really had a problem?
Should have won the game shit should have won a series, but don't get mad that we smacked y'all and you know
Ended up winning the champ. We should be able to talk all we want and you a defensive player
first team I
Sure, yeah, I showed you your defense. Wow. It was butter.
Wow.
With the behind the head.
Yaka.
When he hit that shit in the third quarter, that was nasty.
The fadeaway with the falling back over there.
I got a question.
Asia Wilson, did she get robbed?
Robbed?
For that MVP.
I think, I don't think she got robbed.
I think Alyssa Thomas got robbed.
But the good thing about this MVP race
is that there were three players
that were playing at a super high level.
It wasn't like a runaway race,
which I loved.
But the season that Alyssa Thomas
put together this year
was very much deserving of an MVP.
So I think she was the one who got robbed.
So she's the one who got robbed.
Yeah.
Asia had a great case for MVP also. Like, obviously she was the one who got robbed. So she's the one who got robbed. But Asia had a great case for MVP also. Like obviously she was, she is like the most dominant,
but Alyssa not saying that she doesn't have, like they had great pieces in Connecticut.
New York had three players with MVP votes. Vegas had three players with MVP votes, and Connecticut just had Alyssa. Like, they're not a number three seed without her.
They might not even make the playoffs without her.
Maybe because they have Dewana, DB, and she was playing out of her mind.
But even Alyssa made DB better this year.
She just elevates that team, and I think that's what an MVP does.
And I think, I mean, I don't think, unless she said it herself, unless I do this again, y'all are not seeing a season like the one I had.
Right.
I didn't see why Stewie was over Asia. So, Stewie's basically third and there was
nothing she did that was actually better.
Exactly.
She was consistent though. She was consistent from... She won last year, right?
Who?
Stewie.
Asia won last year.
Asia won...
It should have been back-to-back.
Should have been back-to-back.
The year before that was Stewie, right?
It should have been back-to-back
if they have Stewie winning it.
If Asia won this year,
she would have been back-to-back MVP
and back-to-back defensive player of the year.
She's on that Yonah thing.
My thing is, this is an Asia Wilson household where I'm from.
If you're the defensive player, it means you're the best defender in the league.
And what she does on offense, how does that not?
If this is a league, you know, defense wins championships.
The way the voting shook out was very interesting.
Asia got all of the second place votes.
AT won the first place votes. And then she got, like, no second place votes. And then she got a bunch of second place votes, AT won the first place votes, and then she
got no second place votes, and then she got
a bunch of third place votes.
And then someone gave then the random people
that they voted for.
You're wasting, why are you?
You're wasting votes.
What is he doing?
Yeah, what are you wasting votes?
Someone gave Asia a fourth place vote.
Yeah.
And you said Vandersloot got one.
Did we find out who that was yet?
We don't know who any of the voters are,
and we've been demanding for that list to be released
because we, I'm very, very curious to know.
I know some of the voters and I feel like even some of the ones that I know probably
shouldn't be voting.
But there are a lot of voters I respect who were like, this is how I voted.
And that's what you got to stand on this shit.
Yeah.
So is it, it's like they seem like they just didn't want to give it to Asia
So it was like the only person who's close enough is Stewie
But when you look at the numbers still we didn't beat her in anything besides assists, but when you look down the list like
She averaged point two more points, but played four more minutes a game
Which is a hundred and thirty even Becky said it she I probably, if I played Asia, you know, season four.
No, no, no.
So Asia is seven, she, okay, so Stewie had 919 points.
Asia had 912 with 136 less minutes for the season.
That's a lot.
136 less minutes, right?. That's a lot. 136 less minutes, right?
But there's only seven points off.
So the scoring is there.
Asia's shooting 55% versus Stewie's 46%.
And that's depending on how many games Asia missed.
No, they both played 40 games.
Oh, shit.
So that's just minutes.
All three of them play all games. Oh, shit. So that's just minutes.
Doesn't they both play 40 games?
All three of them play all games, all the minutes.
All three of them play all games, all the minutes.
But one was 136 less minutes, but only seven points behind of the stat that she has over
Asia.
So she has the points over Asia, 23.
Asia has 22.8, but you have 136 more minutes than me.
That's like what, four games almost?
Yeah. Yeah.
Just score seven more points.
No, just add the points per game for four more games.
That's what I said.
If you just gave her the 136 minutes, she could have led the league in scoring too. Well, it sounds similar to the Joel Embiid-Joker debate about why not give Joker the three-time MVP,
but you give it to to o MB why yeah when you was talking about Joker's numbers me actually better
But the fact that Joelle's points per game or maybe what a point higher
No, it was he was like 30 like 10.33. No Joe. Uh, Joelle was a 30 something last compared to his year
Compared to Joker?
No, compared to himself.
The year before?
Yeah, so he averaged 31.
And now he's 33.
Yeah, yeah, Joker only averaged about 25.
That's what I'm saying.
So if that jump for Joel wasn't that high,
but Joker's still doing what he did to get the two-time MVP,
why wouldn't he get three-time MVP similar to Asia?
Like, it should be back-to-back
MVPs or third I mean still he was third like I'm gonna say like when it compares to like my team is number one
I'm beating her in every stat category with less time. How is she in front of me and I had what 50
If you want to put
Someone else in front of me. You just can't put Stewie in front of me. There's nothing that we my team is better
Yep, my home records better. I'm more dominant. You can't put her in front of me
I think if she's third cool. I'm not I'm not accepting her in front of me though. No. Yeah
I mean I had been Alyssa. Okay. Yeah, I know 80 for MVP train for a minute.
I think that they didn't push her enough.
But they haven't her entire career.
I mean, that's like when she's Alyssa.
I played with her one year in college at Maryland.
She was doing this in college, the triple doubles,
putting the team on her back.
She's a great person to be out there with.
She's a great defender.
She's a good leader.
But her whole career, she just hasn't been promoted. And that matters. Does it feel like they've been pushing the Liberty and the Aces?
Oh, absolutely. That had such a big thing to do with it, but the way Alyssa played
should have...
Overseas it. If you take all three of them off their team, where's Aces?
Vegas and New York are still playoff teams. Probably top four teams without All three of them off their team. Where's Aces?
Vegas and New York are still playoff teams.
Probably top four teams without Stewie and without Asia.
Connecticut might not make the playoffs without Alyssa.
That lets you know who's... No push for that.
But again, I would like the voter names.
They're not going to give you those.
The NBA won't even give us who vote all-stars.
Because I'd be wondering
how some of these players
make it like,
come on, man.
He averages seven points, bro.
Like, stop this shit.
Why somebody who averages
12 points making an all-star?
Like, it's the all-star.
Like, you know,
you're 12, 13 points a game
and you're saying
you're top 24 in the NBA
But your ranking says you're three hundred and forty five just stop doing that
Let's talk about a potential future all-star deal in Austin Reeves
You know how Lakers fans can sway that vote
But took a discount to sign a four-year extension this offseason one of the few bright spots on that Team USA
World Cup squad that you had a lot of issues and problems with.
If he would have dated Taylor Swift,
he would have been favored.
How you dare you that?
But since Reeves became a full-time starter late March,
17 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds a game,
scored 20-plus points in 5 of his last 7 games in the playoffs,
entering his third season now,
what kind of leap do you expect Austin Reeves to make?
They got him in the big three pictures.
It seems like they got the Lemon Daddy billboards.
They everywhere now.
They used to just be 405 when I hit past Long Beach.
Now I'm seeing them in the Valley.
We got Lemon Daddy everywhere.
They everywhere.
And this is probably since Kevin Love,
one of the only white Americans that's
been part of a big three
Luke Walton
Was big
August all the white Americans do Walton though Lou Walton
Big three was here. If I saw Kobe Bryant Luke Walton
Hey Luke scoot in behind Byron. Get in the ball, though. Scoot in behind Byron, my man. I mean, he's going to hold his own.
I mean, 17 points a game as the third option.
I mean, that's solid.
Like, just stay there and give us more, right, if you can.
We don't need no 14.
The question is, is he that good?
I want to know, like, because we all know the scouting of the scouting report adjusts
Once you start to realize actually see some defense we see a little bit right so it's like you got Team USA
FIBA you went out there you showed everybody you can be second on a team like that with all these guys out here
They like Brandon Ingram looking around like, you got this Lemon Daddy playing in front of me. What the fuck is going on?
I mean, Lemon Daddy know how to adjust fast.
He know how to adjust.
And that's what Darvin and Phil Handy is saying about Austin is he adapts.
He picks it up quick.
But it's like, all right, can you convert it?
Can you be consistent in year three?
This is year three, right?
It's going into year three.
Year three, you got 50.
You got the money.
You know what I'm saying?
You still ain't dating no celebrity yet.
We're going to figure it out.
Are you going to come in here?
Are you going to come in here
and give us what we need
to consider you
in your fourth year
a primary star,
a potential all-star,
you know,
stuff like that?
I think he still got
something to prove.
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Hold on.
Hold on.
You said all-star,
future all-star.
Potential.
Wait,
are we talking about
the real one or the... The ones you talk about. The one we true. Wait, are we talking about a real one or the...
The ones you talk about.
The one we talked about.
The Lakers win the vote.
The Cal Corver all-star.
Lakers almost make the rules.
I'm not fucking with them Cal Corver all-stars, man.
I'm not messing with we're the number one team
and the number one team gets three picks in all the...
I don't respect that all-star.
I do not respect you got an all-star because your team is number one. That is not an all-star. All right now that no no
But you're not gonna come in. You're not gonna come in this game where everybody had everybody
28 35 30 and you got 12. Well, why are you here my team number one?
Tayshaun Prince and Rip Hamilton?
Hey, you got to earn... Listen.
Chauncey and...
Individually, man.
Y'all got to stop standing on shoulders of your team.
You got to be able to earn your own fucking way.
I'm done with the I, my team, my R team.
Like, you stand on your fucking own.
I'm playing against the rest of the
all-stars in the
small forward or the guard position.
I look dumb as hell.
My 12 points as an all-star when
I'm over someone who
averaged 38, 20.
Come on. That just sounds
stupid.
That is dumb. You would be dumb
if you really respect that. That got in because your team number one
But your stats is your status when you look at the stats. We got to sit there on our computer and phone
I will do that
So you want guys to be like?
No, thanks. No, don't don't I don't
Listen, I was 12 you made me an all-star. Oh, trust me. I'm an all-star. But is that... But in reality, in reality, deep down inside...
You got to keep it in perspective.
Deep down inside, you know, believe it or not...
But the question is, is it an all-star caliber season?
Is he having an all-star type of season?
Compared to just the numbers, like if he does get over somebody's average of 30,
usually an all-star.
But this guy potentially is on a team that's winning, and he's playing at an all-star rate.
17 points in an all-star rate.
On a winning team?
No.
Where everybody's balanced?
No, because there's players on winning teams that's averaging 20-something.
But they're all-stars.
Denver Booker didn't get voted last year.
Really?
Nope.
Wow.
But let's just jump from second to third season.
But I think he's going to be a great asset to us.
He might average 20 this year.
And if he averages 20.
Hell no.
Hell no?
20 and 5?
25 and 5.
Not an all-star, man.
You're not 25 and 5?
Are you saying not an all-star because he doesn't have the ability?
You don't think he's an all-star ability type player?
That is not all-stars, man.
No, I'm asking.
If he gets 25, that's an all-star.
25 a game?
25 a game?
No, 20.
23.
Let's just say 20.
Let's just be realistic.
No, we can say 25.
Fuck it.
Let's piss some people off.
All I'm saying is this.
When you're talking about
The top 24 that's what it is the top 24 12 and 12, right?
Am I the top 12 in my in this in this in the West am I top 12?
right
When they say okay, I'm a guard am the top five, six guards to make that roster?
So when you take names off of it, take the records off of it, and my stats got to stand on my stats,
will people look at my stats and say, man, you deserve it?
Or will you not even pay attention to my stats?
That's the question, Gil, because this is what I'm saying. A lot of people skew that knowing that the talent behind those players in that top 12 may not have the numbers,
but it's like the names that we say in the USA versus the world.
You're going to give me names that are talented players that we know, like, yo, of course we're going to use him.
We're going to take him.
But if he ain't producing the numbers or he hurt it's like we can't consider that number this nigga
Austin Reeves fits right in here because no we're talking we're not talking talent. We're talking numbers and what season you because I'm seeing you
You season that's what I'm saying so players that sit in there like the Devin Booker's who average 28
But ain't making all-star you're talking about when Beal got snubbed
28 when you look at the roster of the players who made it, you're like, what?
Yeah.
You know, Trae Young, right?
28 in second and assist.
He don't make the All-Star.
Like, what are y'all doing?
Man.
Like, what are y'all doing?
Like, stop with the team success on some of this stuff.
Because the team success, like, this is the top 24.
12 and 12.
Like, you have to be able to think. The think that should be one of the lowest things you consider.
That should be the last.
You should still consider it.
Like, your team is last, okay.
But if your team is, like, middle,
and your average is 35, okay.
Team, whatever.
You're right, right.
If you're, like, in the middle of the pack,
like, your team's success should have very little to do with you.
It should be, like, if you average 22-5, right, average 23, your team's success should have very little to do with you. It should be, like, if you average 22.5, right?
Average 23.
Your team is number one.
Or if I average 24, 25.
You're 23.5, I'm 25.
And your team is number one, and I'm sitting at a seven seed.
You.
For sure.
Right?
It's you.
The.5 versus the, that's you.
That's a better, you're doing a lot better,
right, versus some of this shit we're seeing.
Like, it's like, some of these guys are like, like the voting, like you're doing the voting,
and then what happens with the voting is being manipulated, right?
You get the numbers in, right, and then you're saying, okay, these two are the starters.
We got the starting five.
We got these guys.
Now, you might get two votes.
You might have five votes.
But because they have already guards, they're going to say you and bring you in.
Yep.
Like, come on, man.
We can't do that, man.
It's the integrity, man.
Like, we train too hard in the summer for this bullshit.
I'm averaging 30 points, 28 points. I worked my ass off this summer. You're not just going to give that shit to someone who's averaging 12.
That's a great point, man.
That's the disrespect. That's where players start losing themselves.
Like, you start becoming, like, come on, man.
Like, you know what I mean?
Like, come on, man.
Like, you got to put some respect and integrity in this shit,
especially since we out here.
Like, I seen Steph.
Where was he?
Mojave Desert.
He was somewhere in Saudi Arabia, one of them stands.
You know what I mean?
Running the sand dunes, we see it.
There shouldn't be no sub.
Like, he averaged 28, but his team last.
I don't want to see nobody.
Whoever is in front of him better average about 27.5.
Yeah.
Ain't going to be those 17 and 5, team number one.
I'm boycotting. No, I get it. I
agree, they don't give us credentials no way so
And it's in Indianapolis. I know why I'm dying playing that bullshit. I work out of been there. Whoever voted a that one Asia fourth place
Hey, hold on before we leave that jury you do hold on who did this?
Exactly who did this put your hand on. Who did this? Exactly. Who did this? Put your hand up.
Who did it?
You.
Say what you said.
Why would you do that?
Yeah, you are kicked out of this community
because obviously you on drugs.
You on drugs.
What you doing?
Ain't no damn way.
Go pee in this cup.
Hey, come on.
Go pee in this cup.
There's something mentally wrong with you
for you to, like whoever it is,
if y'all ever find out,
they just found Tupac's murderer.
If you ever find out
Ever voted
for that
They should not be able to vote no more ever because obviously
They are so hateful and jaded and they're not looking at things, right?
That they need who a whoever voted a third
Them they, they should
be questioned. That should be a strike.
Like, eh.
We're going to give you a warning.
This is your second one.
You want more like this.
This is your second time.
Fourth, you out.
You, Rasheed, out.
You know what I mean?
Just straight to the two.
Don't even talk. Get out.
Third place, y' straight to the two. Don't even talk. Get out. Third place.
Y'all got questions.
Y'all got the warning.
Reveal yourself.
Reveal.
No.
Stand.
I'm looking for you.
Stand.
Please.
So there's a question in the chat.
I don't know if they put their underdog username,
but based on your all-star logic,
should Draymond have ever been an all-star?
Don't do your boy wrong like that.
Think about it.
Don't do your boy wrong because he got a real answer.
Not to be shaming Dray, but the proof is in the pudding of what he just said.
I mean, like, for an individual award, like, what is the all-star, man? What is an all-star man? What is it? What is it? What is an all-star?
Is it just office though? No, what is an all-star?
What are we considering an all-star player? Right?
I know like a player on their team like The best player on the team? I know him, Dennis Rodman.
It's that defensive.
It is calculated different.
Ben Wallace.
Yeah, but it's a different calculation when their skill is defense.
Right?
Rudy Gobert.
Dwight Howard.
Yeah, but I feel like 2016, 2017.
What do you have?
I don't mean like all of them wasn't all-stars.
Like some of them, like, okay, those are solid enough being a defensive-minded player.
But for the most part, you're taking the one and second option, right?
Mostly first options.
Nah, but we're going back to
your argument you just made, though.
So if Dennis Rodman
is considered an all-star,
he's not averaging
25 and 3,
25 and 5. He ain't even averaging over
10 points. He's 6
and 15
rebounds. Yeah, but that's his
points, right? But it's still at 15. It ain't 20. Nah, nah, nah. But, but that's his points, right?
But it's still at 15.
It ain't 20.
No, no, no.
But if you was counting by two, that's 30.
You're right.
Draymond, 2016, I think first All-Star,
he averaged 14, 10, and 7.
That's All-Star.
Yeah.
Those are good numbers.
Those are good numbers.
On a team like that. But for a guy who's a defensive player?
Yeah.
I think second team all-nba I think those were his best numbers to be
considered yeah an all-star type player those are incredible numbers for a
forward next season was it was ten eight and seven that's not solid no but it
ain't like you know because you just showed me here you this is you this is
this is all star you this is all star you
Defensive player to Europe, so I'm just saying oh the second one was defensive player
There's a player to you down got nothing to it also third. Yeah, 13 all NBA to
Cool. I'm just telling you guys not an all-star
Time I'm a player in the league, but he's not top 24?
That happens a lot.
I'm just saying.
That happens a lot to a lot of players.
As far as for your sake, even though it did happen,
but we're talking about the top 24.
If he's top 15... At the end of the season.
That's why I hate the all-star anyway,
because who had the best half season?
What the fuck does that mean?
But fans have nothing to do with the all-nba voting either
You know factor in the fan stuff with all-star kind of that has kind of ruined see everything is ruined like even back in
Back history right there when we when we question when we question why are reporters, you know voting MVP
Because when the players is doing it
They was fucking it up with us too
they're like the players voting is not the answer you know you're so mad you're
so mad you're so mad at the player that's you know balling you like they
need a panel though players media casual favorite everybody's got to sit and
really talk and hopefully come to a consensus
like a jury. Jury duty.
It shouldn't be like this.
And then
everybody put it in the hat. Nah.
No? Nothing like a dunk contest?
No, it should be just like a dunk
contest. Right?
So we can sit there and be like,
you a hater.
What the fuck is that, man?
The criteria of the judges should be what?
Like, Hall of Fame players or what?
I don't care who it is.
We should be able to see you vote while we're in this meeting voting.
We shouldn't be at home sending our votes in.
Because when we're talking about MVP votes, right,
and I'm pretty sure last year there was three players that was running this
race right this the next clue there are three heads the next closest was probably Jason Tatum
right so you think I like a certain part of the season they should like cut the list down, then have them vote. Because Alyssa, Asia, and Stewie, that was it.
That's it?
Nobody else should have gotten an MVP.
That's all she gets voted on.
Not a vote.
There shouldn't be another vote.
Not a single player should have gotten an MVP vote other than those three.
Once you get past a certain...
When the final votes happen, it should be three names or four names on that.
Right.
And that's what you vote on.
We're not going to do this.
You just go on the list and you're like, who my favorite player?
He's available.
You can pick him.
Well, they have like what?
The leader, the latter.
First vote finalist to get the finalist.
And then the second vote, here's the finalist.
You can't fuck around and put that bullshit vote for somebody down that you know ain't going to win.
One, two, three.
One, two, three.
Yeah. As I said, you know ain't going to win. It doesn't say you're wasting the vote. One, two, three. One, two, three. Yeah.
As I said, you should be questioned on your vote.
When you start looking at this person got 12 first place votes.
What 12 of y'all did this?
Right.
You're messing up the voting.
Why are you voting for this player?
That doesn't mean y'all not taking this shit serious because your team ain't in it.
So you don't want to give
votes to one of them so you're just
giving it to someone else. You got to stop that shit.
So it should be like the election votes then.
The number of names that were on the MVP
list that received votes
was ridiculous. It was way too many
players. That's where it said it becomes
It was way too many players. These three
boom. Joker, Joker
and Embiid. Giannis. Giannis. Them three vote. That's it, boom. Joker, Joker, then B. Giannis.
Giannis, them three, vote.
That's it.
When they vote, this is the vote.
So you're saying before that, there was a preliminary.
Preliminary.
Because you got Luka, Tate, certain other motherfuckers.
We cut through all the bullshit.
Here's the top three or top four.
You got to have a certain criteria to get into that top three to four.
Yeah.
Now you can only vote on these four players. You're not doing this bullshit where you're giving fucking whoever, Walker Kessler, a
vote.
You want me to tell you how stupid some of them are?
Put Michael Jordan on there, put Kobe Bryant on there.
They're going to vote on it.
I guarantee you they're going to vote on it.
100%.
That's how stupid I am.
That's awesome haters shit.
That's awesome haters shit. If you want to see how dumb like
Put the names on there watch them vote it
In there just wait for me to say, all-star weekend going, getting ready to go, and I'm on the bench,
and I'm like, who you vote, Gilbert?
Gilbert.
I got one vote.
I got one vote, man.
I should have been drug testing right after that.
Speaking of drug testing, we are going to move on to Mostly Fans.
We got the interruption.
That was horrible.
No, you'll see.
I'm about to bring it back.
Don't worry.
Oh, yeah.
Remix.
Remix. I'm setting up. I'm about to bring it back. Don't worry. Oh, yeah Guys play a word little good. Let him cook first question comes from the ultimate rage
That's the user name under dog face said Gil. How was it getting high for your first time live on Gil?
That's a good fucking question ultimate rage not gonna lie. I thought after the show
Speak people out there like don't don't smoke and drink at the same time
That was just a horrible first time you was trying to combat it you try to get rid of the high with the drug
I thought like a Red Bull they can knock it off
No, we didn't know you need to experience it for yourself girl, I
Slept the whole so I was done for the two days. I might hit y'all a year. What's that? No, just wake back up
Saturday morning, I don't know what happened Friday
But yeah, I'm alive.
Thanks for checking in on me.
Yeah, but it was different.
I don't like that.
No, stick to one.
You didn't like it because you mixed.
You didn't just chill.
Like, I don't... It don't work for me.
Like, I got to be in control of my mental.
Your thoughts and shit. Great self-awareness, girl. Yeah, looking at birds and shit. Great self-awareness. Don't it don't work for me. I got gotta be in control of my mental thoughts
Yeah, looking at birds
The birds is talking to my fucking synergist
What you say nigga over here playing defense and shit
Cool. Yeah, y'all got to do better fans. All right. Y'all did exactly what we needed y'all to do.
Tune the fuck in.
Second question. Let's make another bet, goddamn.
Yeah, we get over 20.
Oh, no.
No.
I don't even want to say it.
Mushroom.
No.
Oh, Lord.
You see this motherfucker in a pigeon coop for real.
It's been a while.
All right, so this is from Underdog Fantasy,
username BP223.
It said, who has the best duo?
Kyrie and Luka, Damian Yannis, PG and Kawhi, Bron and AD, et cetera.
What?
The best duo?
The best duo in the league right now.
And they gave some examples.
Kyrie and Luka, Damian Yannis, PG and Kawhi, Bron and AD, et cetera.
The third name, what was that?
What?
Clippers. PG and Kawaii, okay
But they're listing examples. I'm gonna use it you just
Okay, you just running straight with it
long tongued
Paul's
Paul's but
You was running them so fast. I'm everybody everybody what was the other best duo? Okay best duo
Hmm. I just read the names go. Okay, we strive for time. It's all good. I
Mean we haven't seen them play together yet, but I'm very excited to see Damianis play together
Yeah, I think everybody else has shown to not be as
Powerful because their duos didn't really take it to the limit to me.
I think Joker and Murray has proven to be a great duo over time.
And everybody else has just been set up like Kawhi and PG shouldn't be in the mix as a
conversation.
They're not a good duo because they don't really play together.
Luka and Kyrie, they haven't been able to play together long term.
They kill together.
I mean, LeBron and AD is a good one.
They solid as fuck.
I mean, we can't give it to Dame and Giannis because we haven't seen how they-
I think we have to just because it's on paper.
What we know it could look like.
I mean, at this point, it's either three.
It's either KD and Booker.
Okay.
Joker and
Murray. That's what I was going to say. LeBron and AD.
LeBron and AD. And then the two
Boston boys. I like
that better than Booker and KD.
I like them better because I feel like
Booker and KD still haven't had a chance
to gel as a duo. Have you put them, you see them numbers doing no, I didn't they did numbers, but it didn't feel like it fit
It didn't feel like like what considers a duo like is it two players that win a lot or is it two players that are?
Able to be successful
NBA jams
They compliment me when we do NBA Jam style
Like if you had to if they had to match up with each other who was actually
Like if you had to match up if you had to match up the Boston boys with his book of them. They're booking them
Yeah, you can't KD the key code on that side
But I still like them Boston boys because they got a lot of ability and they young young. I mean, they're only like 25 and 26
So I mean, but it's just them four. so I'm going to go with the Lakers.
I got Bron.
And last question.
I got Bron.
Last question from Bravo B. Are famous NBA trainers like Chris, was it Brinkley?
Did he say Brinkley?
I think it's Brinkley, right?
Or am I wrong?
Brinkley.
Brinkley.
Brinkley.
And Lethal Shooter, et cetera, worth the money they charge?
One, I don't know the money they charging to I never been in the workout
To really see what they're doing day to day
This is this is how I consider like you have rebounders
Right like some of these guys like think about it if I'm if I'm an NBA player and I'm coming to your workout, for the most part, you're just a rebounder.
Right?
You're just a rebounder.
You're working me out.
You're putting me through a workout.
That's it.
Right?
That's it.
Right?
And you're using my name to charge. Yes the rest of America. Yes, I do you want now if we're talking about
enhancement
If I come to you and say I'm trying to get better what you better do is pull out a computer
Show me the synergy report. Yep, but you don't go left. This is rake it all the way down
We get all the way down and then there then there better be a plan from day one to day 120.
Right?
And we're going through a planned schedule like I'm starting here.
This is where I'm finishing.
When you start doing that, that's when I say you are a trainer.
Some of you guys are just rebounders.
And you're just working guys out.
I come to you and you give me your list of drills that you're going to put me through
that has nothing to do with my fucking game.
I wouldn't even put Lethal Shooter and Chris Brickley in the same category.
I'm not familiar too much with Chris Brickley's workouts.
Yeah, I've never been in the gym with Chris Brickley.
I know he's like one of the biggest ones.
I mean, people really go to Lethal Shooter to get their shot right.
He's proven to help. Play to watch his pro career.
It's a guy.
DC guy.
I think he's proven to help people with their shot.
But again, I think shooting as a shooter is repetition.
But what I'm saying is I need to see the rollout plan to understand it.
There's levels, there's levels to everything.
So I can't, unless I'm inside or you give me some film on how he works people out, then I can give my answer.
Because, you know, there's enhancing.
So let's say you're not very good at dribbling, right, and you're coming to me.
And I got four other people in the workout.
Your workout is for what you have to do.
And what I'm telling you I need.
Yeah, like, so it's one of those things where most of the drills that he's going through will be to enhance what he's came here for.
I'm not going to be sitting here putting him through a drill that Katie's going through this and this because that's supposed to be for them.
Right.
What are you working on this summer?
Let's keep it real.
These trainers are doing the same shit that the player development coaches on the teams are doing.
When you get put through a workout pregame and you're one of those players on the bench that's got to come in and get your work in, that work that's being done with that development coach
is the same shit Chris Brinkley's doing.
He's just getting paid in the offseason to do the shit
that the player development coach is doing.
All the stuff that the guys at the Cleveland Cavaliers,
Rico Hines.
Rico Hines is a perfect example.
He's a trainer that works with NBA teams
that's going to get you right based on what the NBA teams are looking for you to do.
So these other trainers who don't have
that type of information
are just running you through stuff that you like
that other guys are going to line up behind you
and say, I want to do that, I want to do this,
I want to do that.
And that's why everybody plays the same.
Y'all all play the same
because y'all training with the same motherfuckers
who ain't never played.
And then you think you're getting better,
but it's not about you getting better more
than you just getting repetition.
You're getting repetition.
You're creating a routine, paying somebody to rebound.
You look at Rico, my teammate at UCLA.
UCLA runs back in the day, Gil and I used to play up there.
Shit was kind of raggedy.
Magic was running it, no disrespect to Magic,
but you played the seven. It wasn't really about skill development.
Them guys were just trying to get a sweat go up and down.
Rico's added a lot more structure, organization, really helping guys improve, get better, getting
whole squads to come in through there.
So to see what he's been able to do just in a very short time and taking that run-
And it's not to say Chris is not-
And I don't-
It's not to say that they're not getting guys better.
It's the understanding of what a guy like Rico has done for guys who has encountered him
and their progression through those encounters.
Tyrese Halliburton, you got DeMar,
you got all of those guys who's come through
and worked out with Rico,
especially a guy like I've seen him work out with,
with Monte Ellis.
I've seen Monte Ellis' development through the years, right?
And then he hung his hat on knowing how to get guys better based on what they needed,
not based on you just saying, I'm going to rebound,
you're going to do this pick and roll, blah, blah, blah.
It's like, yo, bro, what you good at?
What you not good at?
Let's get better at these things.
So those are the conversations I like seeing and having
compared to just clicks and likes and putting. better at these things. So those are the conversations I like seeing and having compared
to just clicks and likes and putting. Sometimes I even like to ask the trainer,
what do you think of my game? Yes. You should ask every trainer. And sometimes they don't,
they have no. They don't even watch your shit. Okay, obviously. You can look at my numbers and
find that. That doesn't prove to me that you've watched any film. How does my team play?
How do I get used on my team?
Those are things that I need from a trainer.
And if you can't answer those questions, then you're not a trainer.
Okay.
That's what irritated me the most about the Hakeem thing.
That's really what irritated me.
Sorry.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
That's the that's the
real root of it because i train and you know i train my kids and i train other kids right and i
tell them hey what's your 10 flaws yep okay which one is more important okay this one right you
can't go left right we're gonna spend all summer on this one. Next summer, that one. This
summer, we're not just going to work on all, trying to do it all because you're not going to
perfect one, right? So I dedicate and then I use every drill to this, right? For their enhancement,
like throughout the day, like yo,, 6 a.m. to 12
before lunchtime, you got to do, you know, 20, you know, air out and then moves. You know,
you know how we do this. You got to really, you know, do that. This is what we're going to do.
You got to eat only with your left hand. You got to do this. You got to open a door,
be mindful of it, make it a habit, right? So when we start training, it's a habit.
So when I'm watching someone like JaVale, Gortat, it's like, one, you're a bench player.
You're never going to get the ball in that position.
You're going to be doing this and someone's
going to dump it down to you. That's not going to happen.
You're going to be more hanging around
the rim. So let me, you know,
in the hash mark, you're going to duck
in and when you duck in and catch it in the middle,
this is the fake drop step spin.
Yes. Right? Yes. Right? You're going to
be on the weak side and you're going to
you know, slash and then you're going to get the
ball. He's going to be in the side. You're going to know slags and then you get the ball. He's gonna be inside
He's gonna drop step finish this way. I'm gonna do it to how you play this game
So when I watch when I see JaVale posting up like this. Yeah, who the fuck you?
Who you posting up sitting here like this?
That's not even better get down and do but that's like that's the reality of it
I think I was just like you you're charging $50,000 for this?
How?
But look, I understood what you were meaning.
And for me, I wanted to convey the message of they're coming to Hakeem for answers, right?
Not necessarily the training.
Like, I want you to train me and mold me into the little you.
Give me some pointers on how I can be more effective in the training. I want you to train me and mold me into the little you. Give me some pointers
on how I can be more
effective in the post. My pointer is go get
another coach. Go get another
trainer. I work with Clyde.
Clyde Dresler, the one who was with the Big 3.
He didn't know that I had footwork
the way that I had. He was very surprised, but
he was able to show me some things that I
didn't know in the post for my
advantage of being able to get down there and do certain things. He's like, yeah, you got big shoulders
Mm-hmm, so you need to start using your shoulders to your advantage. This what I used to do this move right here
Boom boom boom and I'm like, oh, that's a say I did I never
Applied that although I knew it was there. Sometimes when you you study the game, you know certain moves
You don't use them because you feel like they're unnecessary to do. But then he puts it in context of when to do it.
When you got him on your back on this side, fake this way, he's going to go. Now you got this.
And it's like, oh shit, I never. So I feel like that's what Akeem is giving those guys,
is trying to figure out, okay, Dwight, you heavy on heavy feet and you trying to figure out how to be more finesse.
Let me give you some pointers on when you catch the ball face up,
how to do it.
Now, you might travel a few times
because you're not used to being finesse.
You all power.
So if I can give you some pointers
and you can use them down the line, congratulations.
But if you're JaVale McGee
and you ain't never going to use these motherfucking moves,
you just gave me $50,000.
Appreciate that. But that's what I'm saying. I'm just
looking at it from the standpoint of
training and how much detail
I put into it. Like even in
games, I'm watching your game film.
Are you standing on the weak side?
This is when you're supposed to flash when he turns his back.
I tell every kid, a defender turn his
head, move.
Relocate.
That's how I look at it. I can look at Curry. I recorded I tell every kid, a defender turn his head, move. Right? Relocate. And then I'll, like, you know what I mean?
That's how I look at it.
I can look at Curry.
Like, I recorded when we was in, you seen me when we was watching Curry.
I recorded his whole routine.
His whole routine to see how functional it was.
Yeah.
Right?
But that's just me.
So when I see something, I'm like, it makes sense why.
It was just from that standpoint.
It didn't have nothing to do with the money.
I just said, damn, for that kind of money, $50,000.
Because you didn't see him pointing out the details.
$4 was like, ah.
$4?
I'm like, I don't know if I'll pay you $4.
But you know what I mean?
But some of those trainers, I even told you.
And when I pointed out, it was like some you and I when I pointed out it was like a
Some trainer. I don't know who it was had this whole combo in the baseline, right?
it was on a sideline and baseline and I'm sitting here like
When the fuck are you gonna do that? How you gonna do that?
That ain't even how the defense the deep the way the defense plays you can't even right here
You can't even do that move. You can't even you literally can't even do this move
it's a way this is wasted there's baseline moves work on your baseline moves don't do this move
here this move goes here right this move goes here you over here doing one full flat moves
on the sideline where the defense is playing you sideline but all of
it's going middle and i know you want to close up but my problem my problem my problem with most of
the trainers is they don't teach the defensive side of it where we actually want to see the
defense being played so we know what counters to bake i don't want to just see pick and roll no
defense oh hit him with the step back and bop bopop, bop. If I'm guarding you, you're not getting none of that shit off, bro.
You got to do this move with me.
Oh, I'm on you.
Get this shit off the same way you just did it.
You just did it three times in a row, no defense.
All right, now get that shit off on me.
I gave the trash can 30, though.
No, no, no.
No, but now you see where... Now you see what I'm saying.
If you're traveling with no defense, what happens when Rudy Goldberg's guarding you?
Like, I got to prepare you.
You're paying me this much money to prepare you to be dominant.
So I need the examples.
I need to pay a defender.
I need to pay a help side defender.
Yes.
Right?
Yes.
So when you do the move, you tried, and now your ass flew out of bounds because I've you spun too fast you did I need to give you
every element like you're going middle and you're gonna come back here well
this is this is Dwight Howard right he gonna he gonna push you out more so now
this move is gonna end up there now you got to steal he ain't gonna go for the
first pump fake period right he's gonna going to stand down. So you have to understand all of it.
I got to make you so prepared for what you're going to see.
That's worth $50,000.
That's worth $50,000, bro.
Because it's detailed.
And just to be honest, if I will send my son there for $50,000 because I know my son's foundation is so solid whatever you teaching him
He's gonna pick it up. You don't have to run it three four times with him one time
Yeah, sure one time because I started he started with soccer too. Yep
When we started playing basketball, it was footwork first
Yeah, there was no ball when we trained 530 every morning. The ball is the last thing you gonna touch
He gonna do one legged jump. He gonna work all the last thing he's going to touch. He's going to do one-legged jump.
He's going to work.
All his stuff is he's going to be working like he's a dancer.
So when we get in the post and we do a move,
I can correct him.
Hey, no.
Block your foot, then spin.
He understands it.
So I can send him anywhere and train him,
and I know whatever I spent is going to be worth it
because the foundation of the footwork is there for him to pick up any move.
Beautiful.
So speaking of a good foundation, we got a great foundation with this Gil's Arena.
Day two, we got to wrap it up, Gil.
You know what time it is.
Oh, I'm going upstairs.
I know you're going upstairs.
I can sit here all day.
I ain't got to drive nowhere.
I got to drive two minutes down the road.
I got some books, man.
You got the books?
I got some books.
I just wrote another one this morning
I'm a book nerd. I'm saying y'all ain't gotta buy it. I just want you to just visit the web
It's on Amazon you say the name of the book
Yeah, I just you know cuz I know ain't nobody gonna go look you know, they don't matter shit you bum the billionaire by me
Plantation education I talk about a bunch of relevant shit in society.
You feel me?
We talking about it.
We're going to talk about a bunch of relevant shit tomorrow.
One book sold is a sale.
It is a sale. On Gibbs Arena, we appreciate y'all.
Thank you to Underdog Fantasy.
As always, we will see y'all on Wednesday.
