Welcome back to Gil's Arena presented by Underdog. Hold on, let me fix my Luca jersey. Hold on. Okay. Disrespect the new face. Hey, did you watch the press conference? Oh, man. A little bit here and there. I was overcome with emotion.
Starting point is 00:01:09 Emotional time. You look amazing, didn't you? You see that man look amazing sitting there talking? So slender. I don't know what 270 he look like. Slender look, oh, tight. Look at him like this. Two-seventy.
Starting point is 00:01:21 Look at his body build or something. Look at his shape. I said, that's a man who wants to play defense right there. Oh, shit. Oh, man, that's an honorable white man. Oh, man. Oh, happy Black History Month to everybody. We continue bringing you your favorite show.
Starting point is 00:01:34 We're going to have more on Luka in just a moment. You know, against our will. We can't make that already. Against our will. Damn. You know, we still got the Laker side of the couch. Hey, man, this is L.A., you know what I mean? L.A. is already number one for topics,
Starting point is 00:01:49 so, you know, you just add him in it. Ollywood. Did you hear the question? What was the question? It was beautiful. Have you ever seen this many people in a press conference? He said, I've never had this many. My friend, they don't see it. I've never had this many people asking me questions. We just want to show you support.
Starting point is 00:02:06 Luka going to get us that. We just want to show you support. We just want to show you support. I was down there in the building. Shit. I watched it, so it was like I'm there. I never watched press. Who watch press conferences?
Starting point is 00:02:15 So skinny, skinny look. We thought it was a future move, and we think it is for the future, of course. But the fact that this man going to play at least 10 more years, it's crazy. Oh, man. You know what I'm saying? The fact that they did it, you don't really, until you start actually saying it. A lot. It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:02:36 You listen to all the fluff that's going around. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Oh, he didn't do that? Yeah, really. That's why I said in the chat. He was drinking up all the sweet tea after practice. All right. Like, in the chat, I'm like, yo, Lee, really. That's why I said in the chat. He was drinking up all the sweet tea after practice. All right. Shit. Like, in the chat, I'm like, yo, Lee, like, this man finna be on one.
Starting point is 00:02:49 I really believe, like, he about to be on one. God is good. Gonna be. He's been on one. Little motivation. It can't stop. It ain't just gonna disappear. He's good at basketball.
Starting point is 00:02:59 He's good at basketball. He's good at basketball. First team fat man? Cool. That's all. All right. Looks skinny to me. I could jump into it now. We can wait It's a little tease before we get into I like it a little appetizer But this is gills are represented by underdog woo woo as always we got the legend Gilbert arenas here with us
Starting point is 00:03:21 You got NBA champion of the world, former Laker, the same team that Luka Doncic now plays on, Swaggy P, Nick Young in the building. My dog. Just a patient. Champion. Champion. I recognize that chip now.
Starting point is 00:03:36 That's the champion right here. I recognize this chip. I know why you like yellow star, bro. My dog. And we're going to talk about that in a second, too. We got former number one pick, the bully from Oak Cliff, Texas, Kenya Martin, back here with us. Not a Mavs fan, so was not impacted by the Luka trade to the Lakers. They sucked when I was a kid, too, so that's why.
Starting point is 00:03:58 They were an ass when I was a kid. Is that Jimmy Jackson? When I was a kid? No, that was when I was in high school. Oh, oh, oh. Before that. Rolando Blackman, Derrick Harper and all that? I was a kid. You didn't like Mike? Is that Jimmy Jackson? When I was a kid? No, that was in high school. Oh, oh, oh. Whoa, before that. Before that.
Starting point is 00:04:08 Rolando Blackman, Derrick Harper and all that? Plus them, they was ass. Brad Davis, Dwight, yeah, they was terrible. Yeah. And last but not least, we got the man known as Cemetery Larry. Rashad McCants in the building. Rashad, see you in the I hate sneakers shirt. Iverson, I don't know. Is that...
Starting point is 00:04:26 That's a middle finger? Is that where Luka ranks right now? Yeah. In terms of face of the league. Number one. That's what he's telling everybody, huh? Yeah, number one. Laker fans. Even A.I. agree.
Starting point is 00:04:35 Laker fans. Even A.I. agree. Before we start the show, though... You said Laker fans. See what we did to A.I. While being a Laker fan. That's the funny part. It's crazy. That's crazy. I never...
Starting point is 00:04:50 While being a Laker. Shaw, come home. There's still room on that bandwagon for you. That courtside boy had courtside season tickets. Pointing up to the sky. I hope y'all prepared for today. With the crown. No, Shaw, we were prepared. We were gonna convert you. Feel like we broke your spirit yesterday. We want you to build back up today.
Starting point is 00:05:06 Yesterday was a tough day. He was like, I did this research. Today I'm going to ease up. But God damn it, don't piss me off. Before we get into our usual show, we got to talk about something that happened before the show today. Nick, you had some starbursts lined out as you traditionally do before shows. Had a bunch of reds.
Starting point is 00:05:23 But what happened when Gil walked in? I never heard somebody see a bunch of reds. But what happened when Gil walked in? I never heard somebody see a bunch of red Starbirds and skip past them and say, hey, man, can you give me that yellow Starbird right there? I was mad. I'm like, dawg, damn. I got three. You won't think I got to give him my red Starbirds up. But he said, nah, nah, I want that yellow Starbird.
Starting point is 00:05:42 That right there, that's what I knew. He was crazy. Yeah, he was, yeah. The yellow one. that yellow star bird. That right there, that's what I knew. He was crazy. Yeah, he was, yeah. The yellow one. A yellow star bird over four reds. Four reds sitting right there. No way. Hey, brother, can you type that white man for me?
Starting point is 00:05:53 Same thing. Same thing. That's how it's going to be with Luka. Hey, Bron, Bron, Bronny and Bron, can you type that white man right there for me? My kids want a picture. Bronny and Bron. Both of y'all. My kids want a picture. They want a picture. They already got y'all a picture. He didn't move. Both of y'all.
Starting point is 00:06:06 My kids want a picture. They want a picture. They already got y'all picture. Go ahead, y'all move. We been seeing you for 24 years. Watch out. Like they did babyface on the Grammy red carpet. Oh, excuse me. Didn't they just do that to fucking, uh,
Starting point is 00:06:22 on the Grammy carpet? Yeah, babyface. Babyface, man. That was that. Hey, babyface. You don't do this to my babyface. Hey, babyface. Hey, hey, hey. Move out the way.
Starting point is 00:06:31 Watch out. Hey, white girl, we don't know what your name is. Come on over here. Shut the baby's ass. Hey, come on over here. We want you. Hey, babyface. It's these young ass generation, man.
Starting point is 00:06:39 Go get some coffee. Go get some coffee. Yellow's good. Those fucking kids, man. Who's yellow? Who likes yellow? Nothing.'s going yellow? Like yellow. Nothing. Like yellow.
Starting point is 00:06:47 Nothing. Who like yellow though? Over red. Over red? You got to understand, you ain't never, that ain't. Strawberry, cherry, berry. It don't, it's all the same. Do you eat lemons or strawberries?
Starting point is 00:06:55 Like, let's, which one you prefer? It's not the same. It's a different flavor. Candy is not the same. It's supposed to represent that. But it doesn't. You know what it represents? Be a sour.
Starting point is 00:07:03 Be a red. Be a sour. See, I go to pack in a row. I go in a row. I'm not going to deviate. I eat them. Like me, I see the red. Red, pink, orange, yellow. Oh, you're taking whatever you get.
Starting point is 00:07:11 Orange and yellow. Orange and yellow. Out of here. Orange and yellow. I'm not going to be like, no, I don't like that flavor. I ain't going to open it up. I don't like that flavor. Like, no, I'm going through the pack.
Starting point is 00:07:19 No, no, no. Whatever's on the top. I'm a snowman. You're red? Yeah. I really say, like, the orange and yellow is like the last, so I have to eat them. Oh, you give them away.
Starting point is 00:07:27 Really? Yeah. There you go. But yellow is Lakers' color. How about M&M's? Them the dudes that don't eat vegetables. They all the same. Oh, I was going to say.
Starting point is 00:07:35 I was going to say, I don't want those in there. We're going to eat all of them. Them the dudes that don't eat vegetables, go get fried rice, tell them no vegetables and fried rice and shit like that. Right? No, no, somebody's like, no peas and carrots in my kitchen. It depends on where we at.
Starting point is 00:07:49 Exactly, see? It depends on where we at. Don't drink water. No, no, if you do no vegetables, they got to make a whole new batch of them. Absolutely. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That is important.
Starting point is 00:08:00 Yeah. I'm right. Yeah, we used to send the dude to PA chains and all that stuff, go get food, and all that do get fried Right to know that what type you grow up? Do they want Gatorade they water bottles drink soda with every meal and oh my shoes Yeah, my homie in and out with no cheese on the burger. Yeah. Ooh.
Starting point is 00:08:25 That's you back there? That's him back there. Just plain burger and bread. I mean, this is jailhouse. This is hell. Bread. No way. Meat and bread.
Starting point is 00:08:33 I said, boy, I said, how you not get the cheese? It's the crack. Yes. You just needling. You just needling. You ain't got nothing in there. You just like the needling. You ain't got no tourniquet in there.
Starting point is 00:08:42 No nothing. You just searching for it. You searching. There ain't no juice in there, bro. You got to get the cheese. I ain't got no tourniquet in there. No, I'm not. You searching. There ain't no juice in there, bro. You got to get the cheese. I like the cheese. Needle it. Not a chance.
Starting point is 00:08:51 Double burger with cheese. With cheese. With cheese, bro. Not a double cheeseburger. A double burger with cheese. If I don't have cheese, I can't eat that. Let me get a double burger with cheese. Lettuce and cheese.
Starting point is 00:09:04 Yes. Yeah, that's not good. We're talking burgers and shit. We're distracted from more important conversations we need to have, particularly a Caucasian gentleman that made his way to the Lakers today. We'll talk about that in just a moment. But for all the fans out there, we still got two viewing options for you, our traditional version, mobile vertical version.
Starting point is 00:09:20 Pick whichever one you want to watch. Just make sure you support the show. And, Luca, please pull up. We got a spot for you. We got the jersey already, fresh off the press. And some of y'all ghost watching, subscribe. Subscribe. Make sure y'all like and subscribe. We set a world record yesterday.

Starting point is 00:09:48 We had over 85,000 people in the chat. We secured our suite for the Lakers-Mavs game. Underdog, don't think we forgot. Break bread. February 25th. It's a Tuesday. You talk about the current number, though. The current number is kind of crazy.
Starting point is 00:10:01 Yeah. 800 almost. Yeah, basically. It's crazy. Not even 24 hours? Yeah, basic. It's crazy. Not even 24 hours? Mm-mm. They trying. They be trying.
Starting point is 00:10:10 Oh, average. They be trying. They be trying. They be trying. In the arena. But here's what's cracking in the arena today. Lucas Trey to the Lakers sent shockwaves through the basketball and sports world.
Starting point is 00:10:21 Which superstars around the league are actually untouchable? And we will have some sound from his press conference today. We see Rob Palenka with the slender leather jacket. Okay, look at him, looking very Metro. We respect it. The Warriors are reportedly working the phones trying to land a star before the deadline.
Starting point is 00:10:38 But are the Dubs too thirsty to try and get a deal done? They are cooked. The dynasty is officially over. And the 2025 NBA All-Star teams are set. Which players deserve the love? Which ones got snubbed? We see LaMelo up there, the most famous ball brother. No longer.
Starting point is 00:10:54 That is Jello. But nonetheless, should have been in the All-Star game. Before we get into all that, the best app for your big game party is on your phone. That's right. You and all your friends could be feasting on Underdog. Ride together on stats like passing yards, first TDs, interceptions, and so much more. As for tonight, Kenyon has some picks up in his partner pack on the underdog. Let's take a
Starting point is 00:11:21 look. You got Cat higher, 1.5 three-pointers made. Knicks at the Raptors after losing to the Lakers. Did defeat the Rockets last night. Six of their last seven games. Of course, that game that they did not win. Yes. LeBron in the Lakers' squad. You got Josh Hart higher.
Starting point is 00:11:39 15.5 rebounds and assists. Certified triple-double machine. Kawhi Leonard higher. 18.5 points. Obviously, Lakers take on the Clippers tonight. Not really the bad of LA, because Luka will not be playing in the game. But nonetheless, still on the schedule,
Starting point is 00:11:55 so you got to play it. And Ivica Zubac, higher, 14.5 rebounds and assists in that game tonight. Oh, Clippers play the Lakers tonight. Yeah, sure. They do. Well... The almost Lakers. Almost Lakers.
Starting point is 00:12:11 Not the Luka. Not the Lukas, the Lakers. Yeah, he gonna get a couple assists, hit them in the pocket, corner, Norman Powell over that motherfucker. Mm. Oh, LeBron gonna be guarding Kawhi, huh? No.
Starting point is 00:12:24 Nah. No? They gonna have... to be guarding Kawhi, huh? No. Nah. No? They're going to have. They're guarding Jones. Black your mouth. Yeah, they're going to have. They're going to have the best player on the best player? Nah.
Starting point is 00:12:33 All right. All right. It changes my perspective on this pick. The best player? Well, yeah, technically right now. It's a pick. Right now. The Lakers' number one option currently.
Starting point is 00:12:45 Yeah, because he's on limited time out there. He be getting to it. Is Kawhi on limited time? Yeah, he be getting to it. No, they be featuring like he getting to it. And he efficient, so. Yeah, they gonna kill the Lakers. 20-something in the first half.
Starting point is 00:12:58 They gonna kill them. That's what everybody said about the Knicks. That's a good pick right there. They said that about the Knicks game Saturday. We saw what happened. We got to energize, revitalize Lakers squad. J.J. Redick amped up. Josh Hart might probably
Starting point is 00:13:09 just because he's been playing good the last three games. He's just so iffy, man. So we asked the chat if they're riding or fading your picks tonight, Kenyon. 63% said they are riding with you tonight.
Starting point is 00:13:19 They support you. You can win nine times your bread if you add Kenyon's partner pack on the Underdog app. As always, we do Mostly Fans at the end of every show. If you drop a good question in the chat, we use it on this program. $50 bonus to your Underdog account
Starting point is 00:13:31 if you send us a video at MostlyFansGuild at gmail.com. We use that on the program. $100 bonus to your account. If you can't watch the show live, we'll just on YouTube and help us set another record today. We have audio versions available on Apple, Spotify, wherever you get your podcasts. So we're going to talk Luke in a moment.
Starting point is 00:13:45 There's other things going on around the NBA we're going to discuss. So All-Star Cade Cunningham and the Pistons hosted recent All-Star snub Trey Young in the Atlanta Hawks Monday night. But it was Trey who got the last laugh in that game. Let's take a look. As time was winding down,
Starting point is 00:14:02 Trey did his thing. Oh, oh, oh, step back. Don't step over down, Trey did his thing. Oh, oh, oh. Oh, step back. Don't step over him, Trey. Don't step over him. Oh, my goodness. He stepped over him. Stepped over him.
Starting point is 00:14:14 He stepped over that man. Gave the Hawks the lead with just under two seconds remaining. And kept stepping on him. Turned out to be the difference in the game. Shout out Trey. But it takes me to my next point. So last Thursday, NBA announced the NBA All-Star Game Reserves, which was a week after the All-Star starters were announced.
Starting point is 00:14:30 So let's take a look at the 12 players from each conference who made the cut. So we see the list. We're going to send the West. We've got Steph, KD, SGA, LeBron, Joker, AD, who's now on the Mavs, no longer on the Lakers, Anthony Edwards, James Harden, Jaron Jackson Jr., Shane Goon, Wimby, future Laker, and Jalen Williams. And on the East, Giannis, Brunson, Donovan Mitchell,
Starting point is 00:14:50 Jason Tatum, Cat, Jalen Brown, Cade, Darius Garland, Tyler Hero, Dame, Evan Mobley, Pascal Siakam. So, looking at that list, see a lot of great names on there. Shout-out to them. But one name we do not see is Trey Young. So let's take a look at some of the other snubs from the 2025 All-Star Game. Players who were probably deserving but did not make the cut. So some notable names, you got Trey LaMelo, Tyrese Maxey,
Starting point is 00:15:19 Frogner, as Gil likes to say, Tyrese Halliburton. West side, you got Sabonis, current Spur, De'Aaron Fox, Kyrie, Norm Powell, who a lot of us on this couch felt like we're deserving, and D-Book. League leaders in assists per game and rebounds per game are not All-Stars. Shout out to underdog NBA. It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:15:38 Yeah. So after the All-Star reserves were announced, Ice Trey took to Twitter to voice his frustration with getting snubbed yet again. He was frustrated. He said, and it's no longer getting snubbed. It's getting Trey at this point. Laughing emoji. Sorry to my fans. It'll change eventually.
Starting point is 00:15:54 All right. Talk soon. So as you look at that, do you understand Trey Young's frustration with getting snubbed from the All-Star game yet again? What are you going to do about it? Nothing you can do about it. Come to the Lakers. Yeah, but so at the time that this stuff went out, right, that they made the decision, so Cade made it. Tyler Herro made it. At the time, them teams had two more wins
Starting point is 00:16:20 than Trae Young. Like, so all of them in the same boat. So this man leading the league and it says double-double. They could be, Dame them had four more wins than them. He's doing more for his team. My, Tyler, Tyler Herro. They same. From five to nine, right now, there's only three games separating the win column. Between how many teams? Four teams?
Starting point is 00:16:55 Five, six, seven, eight, nine. Yes. So Milwaukee, Miami, Detroit, Orlando, Atlanta. And then between those teams, the guys who made it. Dane made it. Cade made it. Dane made it. Cade made it. Cade made it. Tyler Hero made it.
Starting point is 00:17:09 Who's at the bottom of that list? What team? Cade. Cade is in seventh. They got 25 wins. Charlotte. Charlotte's below that.
Starting point is 00:17:18 Yeah, Mello did not make the cut. That's why Mello. Yeah, that's why they didn't make it. So Mello led Eastern Conference guards and fan votes.
Starting point is 00:17:24 I think was ranked third amongst players. Yeah, that I understand. They got 12 wins. So Melo led Eastern Conference guards in fan votes, I think was ranked third amongst players. Yeah, that I understand. They got 12 wins. Apparently a league not a fan of Tinker. But where's Miami ranked right now? Were they seven, eight? They're six right now.
Starting point is 00:17:34 Six? They six? But they 24 and 23. Yeah, they like all tied for like the nasty East. So this man averaging a double-double, like what more do we have to do in the first half of the season? Yeah, hero is a pack call. I think Before maxi call and a trade call after five years of no trade they got more wins in them
Starting point is 00:17:55 So I get feel I get Tyrese not Matt making it I get the mellow not But I mean I guess for me, LaMelo, number one amongst fans. That's how it is. That's how it is. When they changed the whole metric of how they were doing. The fans are telling you this is who they want. The brother of Jell-O Ball. Hey, this is going to be, when is All-Star weekend?
Starting point is 00:18:17 Next weekend. We will be there. When Monday comes, it's going to be the worst All-Star viewing ever. Yes, once again. Once again. Because you refuse to adjust and do what you want. Listen, this is All-Star weekend. This is the star players.
Starting point is 00:18:38 Fuck your winning system, right? It is not about winning. It's about the best. This is supposed to be the best game on earth. Meaning you have all your top honchos here. Right? Facts. And the fans.
Starting point is 00:18:52 Half of this list is fucking second options and third options on their team. Ooh. Speak on it, dude. Like, they don't even, like, I don't give a fuck what your second option number, you are a second option player. Sangoon. Meaning if this is a car, you're not driving this team. You are a passenger.
Starting point is 00:19:11 Passengers can do whatever the fuck they want, right? Well, I take offense to that. Right? Yeah. No, you shouldn't. Right? Because I was the second option on my team. Who was the first option?
Starting point is 00:19:19 J.Kid. But you were K.A. Martin. No, he was a passenger. That's not the first option. Passenger's not the first option. It's a score. So you're the first option. He's the second option.
Starting point is 00:19:26 Like Carmelone and J.K. I mean, Carmelone and John Stockton. Right? So if you're a second option guy, there's second option and third options. No one's coming to see you. I'm sorry. Lomelo, when he goes to an opponent,
Starting point is 00:19:43 the kids are coming to see him. Fuck that record. Yeah, that's true. The fans are coming to see him. He's selling shit. How does Ja not make it? He is the best player. We've seen what happened when he wasn't playing.
Starting point is 00:19:58 Nobody knew where the fuck Memphis was. We all forgot like it was in Baghdad somewhere. Right? There wasn't no direct flights no more. You had to drop to Tennessee, drive. Like that was happening when he left. So the fact that he's not there, I don't give a fuck what your system is. You put the best players in for the best results. You have a bunch of people in here. Listen, you guys made it in their metrics, but I'm sorry. No one comes to the regular season to see you. They come for the guy that's in front of you. We come to see
Starting point is 00:20:30 him. We don't come to see you. No one say, oh my God, I can't wait to see the third option. I don't give a shit how many wins you got. Can I play Devils? So the viewership is down because you didn't put the guys who the fans actually voted for. The people that can't afford to go to the game, they still want to watch it on TV. So they voted for LaMelo, right? Yep. They not fucking watching because you didn't put that guy in.
Starting point is 00:20:53 Sad one, but the other ones, it's always been like that. Yeah, that's what I was about to say. We got to go back to what the original metric is of what the all-star voting process was. It was who's having an all-star type year. Who's having an all-star type year. Who's having an all-star type year. So certain guys made all-star elections because they was having certain types of years. And it wasn't because of the highlight version
Starting point is 00:21:14 of the other side, like the top guys. The first five guys, the top ten guys, they're going to start, they're going to be the guys we come to see, of course. But the reserves might make it because they're having an all-star type year. Glenn Rice, all see, of course. But the reserves might make it because they have an all-star type. Glenn Rice, all those type of guys. Mitch Richmond.
Starting point is 00:21:29 Them were guys that... They were having all-star type seasons. They were number one option. So what you're saying now is take away the guys who are playing good NBA all-star type seasons and saying, regardless, this dude, he averaging 18. What's Jha's numbers right now in comparison to the people got picked over him?
Starting point is 00:21:48 It's like, all right. He's averaging like 20. You ain't 25 and Maxie should have the biggest argument right now. Career high point per game average for Maxie. So Ja's averaging 21.8, four rebounds, played 29 games this season. 21.8? Those are solid team numbers. He said he understand what I mean.
Starting point is 00:22:03 Team numbers. Those are solid team numbers. We got he understand what I mean. Team numbers. Those are solid team numbers. We got to play it. Second number, second player, I'll say it. But the fans should matter though. Of course. The fans should matter.
Starting point is 00:22:11 The fans should be. I said it first, the top 10 though. But this, the fans should matter. Like they did with Kobe. The top 10, the fans should matter. But it's always been this. No, but even on the reserves, right, the reserve, your. Your team record shouldn't matter. Your team record has nothing to do with you as
Starting point is 00:22:30 an all-star. We got a motherfucker who averaged 12 points. Kyle Korver. There's no way on no planet of Earth that he's an all-star in no type of league. I don't give a...
Starting point is 00:22:44 He's averaging 12. You're telling me if we go through the NBA, you can't find 150 people better than him. But his record's number one, so they want to pull three people? Fuck that. That's why nobody want to watch. That's why nobody respects that shit.
Starting point is 00:23:00 That's when the bullshit comes. Nobody respects that shit. You think a motherfucker who averaged 29 points and his team sucks is Looking at a motherfucker who is no option on his team. No scout. Just call him over But you're not winning because of you or winning not because of you yes you win. No you're not you're averaging 12 We're winning because of me if I'm starting every game If we started Wait, Nick, wait, Nick. Is he winning because of him? Wait, you asked him. You asked him. Who is he winning because of? But you asked him, is he better than Kyle Korver? Yes.
Starting point is 00:23:47 Right? He averaged more points than Kyle Korver. Now, this is the difference. Kyle Korver had a better season than Nick did. No, he did not. That can say that Kyle Korver's having an all-star. With Atlanta, and they was winning. But he shot 50-49.
Starting point is 00:24:03 Nigga, that year with Atlanta, he was killing. They had four people. They had four people. I feel like Jamal Parker. I feel like Jamal Parker. They had four people in the All-Star. You know why? Because they did it with Detroit.
Starting point is 00:24:15 They did it because they did it with Detroit. They did it with them because they did it with Detroit. They didn't deserve it. It don't matter. The team wins. Put them in because they did it. They did it in Detroit. That's why they did it again. They did it with the Warriors. they did it in Detroit
Starting point is 00:24:35 I'm just gonna read this for you Jefferson to make when we made it when means 20 to 2015 all-star game 2015 NBA all-star game when I was named an injury replacement. He was brought on to replace Dwyane Wade. I don't give a fuck! I don't give a fuck! That's what I'm saying. What happens with the replacement? Dwyane Wade can't play, so who we gonna get? Kyle Corbin. That's like calling Derek White to go play in the fucking Olympics. Man. Over, over, over, over all the guys. Yeah, over 50 motherfuckers. That's like calling Derek White to go play beat the fucking over his final in the NBA with a
Starting point is 00:25:05 fucking Christian Lakers team on the fucking dream team. Over the fuck is Shaquille O'Neal. Get the fuck out of here. Let's stop it. And a lot of these motherfuckers, when they go to good teams, they beat Bradley Beal, so you can't say that. Somebody got to score on a good team. On a bad team, I mean.
Starting point is 00:25:21 They got to shoot. So you don't reward bad things. You don't reward bad teams. You don't reward bad shit. You're going to get rewarded. You don't reward bad shit. Bradley Beal becomes an all-star. Shit. Bradley Beal being an all-star, he come to Phoenix. He got the lead and scored.
Starting point is 00:25:33 Because he was with the Wizards. He's on a bad team. He's on a bad team. That's what he's saying. Ever since then, we ain't seen all-star Beals since. You don't see all-star. What the fuck does that mean? He had good season.
Starting point is 00:25:46 If you're- He had good season, just like Cal Corbett. The only difference was he was not that- He averaged 12. He had a good season. Good season for who, himself? Nope, because he was with his team. He goes from 10 to 12?
Starting point is 00:25:57 Your boy had a good season because he was with nobody. 10, 12? Thank you. Your dude went from 30 to 16. We're talking about- 30 to 16. We're not talking about 30 to 16. We're talking about at that moment in time. His 18 is better than fucking Alcantara. Bradley Bill turned into Cal Corbin this year.
Starting point is 00:26:13 Thank you. Bradley Bill turned into Cal Corbin this year. So he should make the All-Star game. Because he's on a good team. So he should make the All-Star game. Somebody got his shoe on a bad team. Are you getting $250 million? Yeah, he should.
Starting point is 00:26:23 But he ain't playing good ball. But you know what I'm saying, though. If you're on a bad team, somebody got to hold you. Hold on. Atlanta was number one. That's why Kyle Korver got the nod. Phoenix is not number one. We're not going to get him.
Starting point is 00:26:37 So we can't even say this. So 18 points. So 18. I feel like Jamal Conner should have made it. So 18 points. What was his numbers been? 12. Parfitt should have made it. So 18 points. What was his numbers been? 12. More than fucking 12.
Starting point is 00:26:48 You got to know. I don't give a fuck what it was. It was more than 12. It was more than 12. And he's the second option. I feel like Jamal Parfitt should have made it. I feel like Jamal Parfitt. So you want to know why?
Starting point is 00:26:59 You know why. I don't care why. You know why. Don't mention it. Don't mention it. Steph Curry. He had a good season. Is it Steph Curry? He had a good season. Who else made it over him? It doesn't matter. It don't mention that. Is it Steph Curry? He had a good season. Is it Steph Curry?
Starting point is 00:27:05 He had a good season. Who else made it over him? It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. He had a good season. He had a good season. He had a good season. He had a good season.
Starting point is 00:27:11 He was the number one. We talking about reserve, right? We talking about Kyle Korver being a reserve. Reserve. Substitution. They called him reserve. They called him. Can Jamal Murray be that?
Starting point is 00:27:21 Why did they call Jamal Murray? Can he? He should have been. Can he? Yes. Why didn't they? That ain't got nothing to do with me because they called down Corver. They called down Corver.
Starting point is 00:27:32 Hey, if this dude get hurt and we don't call you, nigga, play better. Play better. Play better. I hate these arguments, man. Y'all, you don't reward something. So we don't reward winning no more. Winning don't give a fuck. You're winning. Who's winning they are three people in front of me
Starting point is 00:27:50 No, no, you can't if I'm number one and you shoot every shot and you're the last place I'm gonna give a fuck about that. You are good. You're doing it. You gotta shoot. All right, somebody got a shot I got somebody got a shit. Let's be in the let's let's put this in car form. The nigga who has a bad team and he's scoring, he is the driver, right? The second option is here. What is his responsibility? Auxiliary, right? He's controlling that, huh?
Starting point is 00:28:23 He going to be on the phone, whatever. Maybe if I get tired, he can come in. Third option, backseat. Fourth option, backseat. Now, you're telling me these two motherfuckers who's never, ever in their life know the responsibility of driving a car is making it over him? If you take Cal Corver and put him on any team as the number one option, the bitch is going to average
Starting point is 00:28:49 12. He went to Creighton and he was the number one option. Ask them how much he averaged at Creighton as the number one option. Creighton? So don't say he never did it. Because we can pull up the reference and say, hey, I know what this feels like. So don't say he never did it. Because we can pull up the reference. He got the number one option.
Starting point is 00:29:05 He got all-star team. Hey, I know what this feels like. I know what this feels like. I got all-star team. But I know what it feel like. A 50-40-90. I know what it feel like. I know what it feel like.
Starting point is 00:29:16 I ain't been the number two option all my life. Go ahead and do it. What do you average? So his senior year at Creighton. Senior year. Okay. 18 points per game. Woo!
Starting point is 00:29:28 And he was the 51 pick in the second round. Okay, that's nice. He was the number one option on his team, bro. He wasn't the number one option in the NBA. It don't matter, but you know what it feels like. You just asked a question. What happened if he was the number one? NBA! What's up about NBA? He would know exactly what to do. He's never been...
Starting point is 00:29:43 He's been winning because he's in the game. He's never been. They're winning because he's in the game. He's never been the number one option. Has he ever been the second option? Has he ever been the second option? Has he ever been the second option on his team? It don't matter. It do matter. We're talking about the fucking offense.
Starting point is 00:30:01 It's only about three superstars in the NBA. Everybody else is not superstars. There's 30 lead dogs, period. There's 30 lead dogs. I'm not rewarding you more than losing. There's 30 second options. Did you play against Kyle Korver? Yes.
Starting point is 00:30:18 Did you play against Kyle Korver? But still. But still, you ain't even know what the fuck I'm about to ask, motherfucker. But still what? You don't even know what the fuck I'm about to ask. still what you don't even know what the fuck I'm about to ask You gotta be honest with yourself with this question I'm gonna be honest with myself. I'm gonna be honest with myself No, the question though, I have a question
Starting point is 00:30:35 What you talking about? Did you play against Kyle Korver? That ain't the question I'm about to ask Was he weak or not? You played against Kyle Korver, you played against Cal Corbin? You played this Cal Corbin. We played against Cal was Cal over limited in his basketball ability But he was in and fucking pregame before the game coach. Don't leave him. Oh, if you Were
Starting point is 00:31:00 I don't know how this turned into a Kyle Corver discuss. Oh, we owe me what his limitations are I look at you tell me what? He asked the question. I mean why I am sorry Okay shooting. Yes passing moving move move movement movement without the basketball Mm-hmm lock and trail on defense lock and pay attention to defensive principles and keys and strategies on defense So we Pay attention to defensive principles and keys and strategies on defense. That's what you're telling me. So what are his weaknesses? I don't need to know. Cal Corbin can go by you.
Starting point is 00:31:31 He didn't know no defense. I answered. Now you answer. What are his weaknesses? Don't rebuttal. Answer my question. So Cal Corbin can go by you. What'd you do?
Starting point is 00:31:40 Cal Corbin can put the deck on the go. Hold on. Whoa, whoa. Hold on. Cal Corbin can put the ball on ball in there go by you know, okay Put the ball down again by we're so we're not over guarded you what happened When he guarded you, what the... He helped his team win.
Starting point is 00:32:09 If we was going... I don't give a fuck. If Kobe was called to play and you got the ball and Cal Corbin was guarding you, what'd you do? Because he said, all this defensive bullshit. What'd you do? Where is his weaknesses? You didn't look at him.
Starting point is 00:32:20 Are we showing you right now? You're not showing shit. You're just saying gibberish. I asked you a straight question. And I answered him. And I answered him. Y'all asked me. Y'all asked me. I gave y' you right now. You're not showing shit. You're just saying gibberish. I asked you a straight question. And I answered it. And I answered it. Y'all ask me. Y'all ask me.
Starting point is 00:32:27 I gave y'all the answers. What is his weaknesses? What is his limitations? What are they? The reason is a whole lot. That was a once in a lifetime thing. Who said Cal Corbin could pass? He's not a good passer.
Starting point is 00:32:37 He's not a good passer. He's a good shooter. He's not a good defender. He's very limited in his ability. Only going off right. Only going right. Can't go left. There's a whole lot of Fucking question y'all making up no just like you did the point
Starting point is 00:32:56 We're in a conversation the point I can break down very little I can break this down very limited basketball player Of course Very limited. But I can break this shit down to A, B, C. Cal Corbin's a very limited basketball player. Playing is at limitation. Jamal Crawford recently went 51. Of course, Jamal. Of course, Jamal. He came off the bench. Is Joker limited? Is it a reason why Joker went 50? Absolutely. So what is his limitation?
Starting point is 00:33:15 Yes. What are Joker's limitations? This ain't about Joker. At the 50-something pick, this is the reason why he went. He's limited, right? What is his limitation? Yes, okay.
Starting point is 00:33:23 None. Cool. So the guy who come off the bench averaging 16 Third option just cuz he had a bigger role I feel like over how corporate over who Nick said I'm saying, I really, I said that, but y'all saying something that rarely happens. Shit like that rarely happens. We talking about... What I'm saying, no, the point... You can't just point out corporate and say it's every time the All-Star looks good.
Starting point is 00:33:52 Exactly. The point of this is... Exactly, that's the reason I'm saying it. Shit never fucking made it. The point of this is... Shit never got called. This is no different than the fucking Olympics. A lot of guys should have never got the call, okay?
Starting point is 00:34:03 A lot of guys can say that. We say that about a lot of guys who did one year. And we're like, yo, he should have never got the call Okay, a lot of guys can say to be say that a lot of guys who did one year and be like, yo He should have never got it There's a lot of people a lot of people you know how many people gonna be pissed off We start naming all people who shouldn't got it. I don't care. Oh, you should I don't care Okay, so I get back to my food cuz a lot of motherfuckers gonna start saying names motherfuckers don't like and be like Why are you saying that name? Because you said we allowed to. Okay, so back to the point of this is, this is supposed to be the all-star game.
Starting point is 00:34:33 The best 24 players in the world. In the NBA. That is the point. This year, though. For that year. For that year. For that year. Every year. The all-star game is supposed to be the best of the best. The cream of the crop. Do you know in the Olympics, do you know how the teams are created?
Starting point is 00:34:56 So you're saying I don't have to perform to be an all-star. Truly, just because I'm this good. Because you're the best. Just because I'm good. I don't have to have a good season. Just because you're a fan favorite. Literally, hey, man, these dudes going to make it because they'm this good. Just because I'm good. I don't have to have a good season. Literally, hey, man, these dudes going to make it because they the best. He has a terrible season.
Starting point is 00:35:12 Why is he taking it? Because he's good. Hold on. Y'all are missing what this motherfucker's saying. When have they not performed? Just because I'm the best and I don't perform, you're not the best if you're not performing. No, I'm performing like an all-star.
Starting point is 00:35:29 We're talking about... Didn't I just say performance? Yes. So what did you just say out of your mouth? You named a guy who's not performing. But he's still good. But he's still good, right? He's still one of the best players.
Starting point is 00:35:41 You didn't see that? You didn't see that? Paul George, you didn't say anyone? No, no, who said that? what I did there. You didn't see what I did. You didn't say any words? No. Oh, he not. Who said that? Oh, okay. The top 24.
Starting point is 00:35:49 Decawai. Decawai? Decawai make it? No. Why did he make it? No, what are you talking about? We're talking about the best 24. So I'm saying, y'all saying,
Starting point is 00:35:58 that you just going to make it regardless because you're the best 24. That's what y'all saying. You're saying that a guy like Hal Corver can't make it because because you're the best 24. That's what y'all saying. You're saying that a guy like Kyle Korver can't make it because there are guys that are always going to be better than him regardless of how good the season is. He's playing better.
Starting point is 00:36:13 No, no, no. You're not playing better to win games. You're not playing better to win games. You're not playing better to win games. Kyle Korver, his team was first in the league when he made the league. He was number one in the league. By a land sign.
Starting point is 00:36:31 Number one by a land sign. He made it because he was a reserve. Because he was subunit. And it was the Miami Heat in the league then. Come on, man. I watched this game. I know it. I watched this game. I know it, bro. We're a fuck. I watched this game. I know it, bro. We're talking about the best 24.
Starting point is 00:36:47 We're talking about who, bro? Like, I let you talk. I didn't say shit. You did. You always say shit. Go. You're going to finish. Can we get a timer and let him finish? I'm not going to interrupt you. You interrupted me right now. I was in the middle of a fucking point. Now I can't remember it. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:37:04 Because the shit was invalid Yes, it's always invalid. All right, always go my way The 85th highest points per game ever does so so the whole so that year he had the 85th Cal core that is did y'all just go to stats? Yes. Yes, you fucking right we did. I did. I did. I went to the stats. I forced these niggas to go get the motherfucking newspaper. No, 85th high school in the NBA.
Starting point is 00:37:34 Based on points per game. Based on points per game. Where's Jamal? But so you couldn't have, so there was no other guy before 85 that was playing the same or better than Cal Corb at the time, bet you could have made an all-star. Jamal Crawford, his teammate. Yes. 40-something.
Starting point is 00:37:50 So that means his value to the team was higher. Yes. Okay. What did Tayshaun Prince have? Long on the Clippers. Tayshaun didn't make it. Now, let's try this again. He didn't make it with Detroit? No.
Starting point is 00:37:58 How many people made it with Detroit that year? Three. Four. Four make it. He was the only one that didn't make it. They were trying their hardest. So? So they almost had five. So they almost had five. So they almost had five guys make it.
Starting point is 00:38:10 They almost had five. Cool. I know they didn't average that much. Just like when we go to the Olympics, right, and you're talking about track. They don't give a fuck about how many awards you want. It's the fastest four. I don't care about the about how many awards you want. It's the fastest four. I don't care about the other three players on your team. It's the fastest four people in the world
Starting point is 00:38:32 that's going to be selected for that. The all-star is the best of the best. This is not, motherfucker, you came with a, the star player come with a plus two. It don't come with a plus two. They don't come with a plus two the fuck is this I'm bringing me and my two homies That's why you didn't win. That analogy ain't even real. That's a terrible analogy. Yeah. You like one person going to win the championship. That's not even a track analogy.
Starting point is 00:39:10 But you talking, that's what you saying. That's what you saying. The all-star game. The people that's in it, the second people that's in it, they're number one in this section. Not the all-NBA. We're not talking about the NBA. We're talking about all-star. A fun factivity.
Starting point is 00:39:23 I disagree with him in that one. A fun factivity. A fun factivity. What are you talking about? It's the best. factivity. So I disagree with him in that. An activity. What are you talking about? It's the best. Who's performing the best is going to get picked to go to the Olympics. Not just every year.
Starting point is 00:39:33 We're going to pick you. You've got to perform. Who is performing the best, not who has the best team. So in situations, like, I don't agree with that, Gil, because you have situations like Antoine Walker and Paul Pierce. They both are all stars, right? Yeah, one and two. How about who was third? Yeah, yeah, this shouldn't.
Starting point is 00:39:49 Yeah, how about him? How about if he made it? He should fucking make it. Okay. Yes. I'm saying that you had Kyrie and Braun. So there's situations. Brad Miller.
Starting point is 00:39:57 Huh? Brad Miller was an all-star. Was he deserving of it? I'm just going to go on a limb him say I don't think he was. He was on the East. He was in Pacers. Let's talk about this current All-Star team real quick. So we talked about the snubs.
Starting point is 00:40:15 Let's talk about somebody who made the squad. So Steph Curry was selected. Steph Curry was selected as an All-Star reserve. We're playing his 11th career All-Star game. This is his fifth straight selection. So far this season, Chef Curry averaging 22.6 assists and 4.5 rebounds. His points per game are as low as his 2011 season, including the 2019-20 season when he only played five games.
Starting point is 00:40:34 I get it. What is your point? That's a popularity pick. Yeah, let me host. What is your point? Let me host. Does Chef Curry deserve it? Yes. Let me host.
Starting point is 00:40:40 He's the number one option. Yes, yes, yes. Hey, Josiah. Josiah, this is just you just getting all the back... I don't think so. Getting all the backlash. This year, I don't. Steph Curry... I'm rubbing the look of Jersey all back off. This year, I don't think Steph should make it.
Starting point is 00:40:52 Chelsea Billings, man, he averaged 12 points. I don't think Steph should make it. Say it again. And Richard Hamilton. Chelsea Billings averaged 12, Rich averaged 14. They were all reserved right now. And Ben Wallace averaged... Shit. Nine. Nine? average 14. They were all reserved right now. And Ben Wallace averaged, uh, shit. Nah.
Starting point is 00:41:06 Nine? And they made it because they what? They made it because they was all-stars? Johnson averaged 12? Yeah, 12.8. It say right there. You know, Johnson has no fucking 12 points. Don't they say 12.8 and that's, um...
Starting point is 00:41:21 Johnson have no goddamn 12 points. And then you go to a year Not not in beating us Every 12 points in the motherfucking business beat us That's it I know for a fact no he did Here they all made it was 05-06. Oh, I thought it was the year they won the championship. They won the title in 04.
Starting point is 00:41:47 Not a fucking chance to motherfuckers. I was in the East that year. Yeah. Of course y'all do. Y'all just say shit. Of course you thought it. No.
Starting point is 00:41:56 That was the year after. Nick. I was there not a fucking chance. Oh, that's why. Let's spin it forward to 2025. Chance average 12. let's spin it forward to 2025. Chance averaged 12.
Starting point is 00:42:07 We beat the dog shit out of him. I tell you that shit. He won a championship at you though. Cool. What the fuck? I got to do what we talking about.
Starting point is 00:42:15 He was in an all-star 05-06, sir. All right, dude, 05-06. All right, hold on. Let's take a breather. He averaged 18. What's the name? Average 20, I think.
Starting point is 00:42:21 Let's take a breather. Luka Doncic is on the Lakers. Let's take a moment. Let me check. Why don't you just be saying shit, dude? Let's's take a breather. Luka Doncic is on the Lakers. Let's take a moment. Let me just be saying shit. Let's just take a moment. When you showed him facts, he want to go to the facts.
Starting point is 00:42:30 No, you just want to talk. Lucky number 77. You want to just say shit. So, Kenya, I asked you, does Steph Curry deserve to be an All-Star? You said you don't believe that Steph Curry deserves to be an All-Star this year. Best players.
Starting point is 00:42:39 Why don't you feel like Steph doesn't deserve to be an All-Star this year? Because it's a popularity pick this year, I think. I think Darren Fox has been playing better. Number one option? I think he should be there. If you had to pick this year, if there was one of the two, I think it was a popularity pick.
Starting point is 00:42:54 I'm a big Steph fan. I love what he's done for me. We love Steph Curry in the arena. I love the way he played the game, but this year in particular, I think... With the game being in the Bay and his home venue, do you think that has anything else to do with it? It's a popularity thing.
Starting point is 00:43:05 Absolutely. 1,000%. Like, you have to... It was represented from his team. But this year in particular, I get it. But if we're talking about just play and you had to pick one of the two guys,
Starting point is 00:43:18 I would have went with Fox. Just for... But just play for the first half. Yeah. So... But... Mr. So, but... Mr. Cemetery Larry, you made it, so congratulations. Do you believe that Steph deserves to be in the All-Star game this season, based on the
Starting point is 00:43:30 season he's having up to this point? I think everybody's deserving. Of course. Everybody deserves to make the All-Star. Yeah, everybody play their fucking ass off to get something. If you get something out of it, get something out of it. Cool. Like I say, man, the nigga playing good out his mind for that year,
Starting point is 00:43:46 and they decide to pick him, you can't look at that man like he don't deserve it. Like, Scottie Barnes got in last year. Everybody was like, oh, you could have picked Trey in front of him. Y'all know he had the number one jersey sale? In Toronto. In Toronto. It's in Toronto.
Starting point is 00:44:02 It's only one team. I know that. that I know was Make it seem like it was every yeah replace merchandise sales to begin you think that it's amongst his teammates You think Steph deserves to be in Toronto? My bad, you said Steph deserves to be in the all-star game. Huh? Why do you think Steph deserves to be in the All-Star game. It's Steph Curry. He's the number one option on his team. There's a lot of number one options on that. So it don't matter if he played that?
Starting point is 00:44:36 No, what'd you say? So it don't matter if he played that, right? So why didn't Ja make it? When he's talking, I didn't say shit. I know, you guys don't allow me to host. So, say that again? There's a lot of number guys don't allow me to host. Say that again? Trade deadline, looking at other shows. There's a lot of what?
Starting point is 00:44:48 Number one options on other teams. Okay. 30 teams across the league. And he said Fox. And I said, okay, he's the number one option. They're Fox. It brings me to my next question. So we see in the Olympics, the host country, their team gets to be in.
Starting point is 00:45:01 Hold on one second. So Mr. Allen Iverson said he loved listening to us. Shout out to Allen Iverson. Shout out to Chuck, man. When they went to the championship, what year was that? Chuck Neal? Mm-hm. 2001. Mm, 2001.
Starting point is 00:45:15 What were they wearing? One? They were wearing one? That was Chuck, yeah. Damn, that's so crazy. Chuck will hit you when I'm wearing a Chuck shirt. The I hate sneakers Allen Iverson shirt. God damn, that's crazy, ain't it? Yeah. Damn, that's so crazy. Chuck will hit you when I'm wearing a Chuck shirt. The I hate sneakers Allen Ike shirt. Goddamn, that's crazy, ain't it?
Starting point is 00:45:27 Ain't that God? What's up, Chuck? For Luka's option with the Lakers. What year was that, 2001? Yeah. You know what? They won. They won 51 games. Now, imagine, just imagine two people came from this team. Two other people came from this team.
Starting point is 00:45:49 Matambo wasn't an All-Star. Who? Matambo. The Kimber. One more. I'm saying, was he an All-Star that year? Probably. Back then, it was just centers.
Starting point is 00:45:58 You just, they just, they're backup center, starting center. That's how they did it. I'm just saying, that's two. That's two. Lakers only had two. I said three. Now imagine if the Lakers got three. Hey, when you. That's how they did it. I'm just saying, that's two. The Lakers only had two. I said three. Now imagine if the Lakers got three. Hey, when you say three, he gonna say four.
Starting point is 00:46:09 Imagine if the Lakers got three. He gonna keep pushing it till you got 12. No. When you talk, I don't say nothing, man. Let's be respectful in the arena. Luka's on the Lakers. When... Now, remember, there's teams out here that got three.
Starting point is 00:46:22 So... If the Lakers pull three... If they had somebody average... Denver's number one. They can't even pull the second guy. They can't even pull a second guy, but you got third options. It's a third option averaging 18. You put him on another team by itself,
Starting point is 00:46:42 he could average 30. He could. He's just seeing that now with Bradley bill averaging something on name, but he come to finish about to get traded What is the number one option basically the guy cleanest team there is our One option so we're so well you own there So what you just said is deserving he could average when Bradley bill was the number one option. So where's... So... He on there. So what you just said is... He's deserving. He could average. When Bradley Beal was the number one option, he was the... He was in all sides.
Starting point is 00:47:10 Somebody got to shoot. Like, they are... He was the number one. When he's on another team, he's the third option. He's not making it. So just because you're the number one option on the team,
Starting point is 00:47:17 fuck the team winning, and then who else helps you there? If I average more than you, if you average 28 and I average 24, fuck me, just go. Fuck him. Ain't we number one? No.
Starting point is 00:47:29 That's what you saying. Number one option trumps everything. It doesn't. It doesn't. And number two obviously trumps that. That's why we just fucked up in the Wizards. That's why we just fucked up. They was fighting for number one option every goddamn day.
Starting point is 00:47:41 Because there are situations like, if it's, because you can't tell me that Jalen Brown and Jason Taylor are not deserving, right? No, that's... They can both be number... We... And then if they... And then you... Who's the number one option on Memphis? Who's the number two option?
Starting point is 00:47:58 Jaron Jackson. Bane, Jaron Jackson. Jaron Jackson right now, probably Jaron. Jaron Jackson's probably number one option. Number one option. Who's number one option on the team? Number one option on the team is Ja. Numberaron Jackson right now. Probably Jaron. Jaron Jackson's probably number one option. Number one option. Who's number one option? No, who's option? Number one option on the team is Ja. Number two is Bane. Number three is Jaron Jackson.
Starting point is 00:48:11 No, number two is Jackson. Two is Jackson. I think two is Jackson. He averaging, but he's putting up numbers. Just watching him play. Yeah, yeah. I watch him play. I think Jaron Jackson. For sure.
Starting point is 00:48:21 For sure. For sure. For sure. For sure. I think it's Jaron. But it can be Bane. It can be Jaron Jackson. Either fucking. For sure. For sure. For sure. For sure. For sure.
Starting point is 00:48:27 For sure. For sure. For sure. For sure. For sure. For sure. For sure. For sure.
Starting point is 00:48:35 For sure. For sure. For sure. For sure. For sure. For sure. For sure. For sure.
Starting point is 00:48:43 For sure. For sure. For sure. Foraron Jack right now. Thank you. Right. Right now, yeah. So, my thing is... See, I can admit, I can admit. I use actual facts to my argument. I don't just say shit. Like, there's been situations throughout where you have Mike Bibby, you have Pasha,
Starting point is 00:49:00 you have Chris Webber, right? They don't win, they're not successful. All three of them guys were playing at a highber, right? They don't win. They're not successful. All three of them guys were playing at a high level, right? And deserving so of being all-stars. There are certain situations throughout that, yeah. When you're doing, when you,
Starting point is 00:49:21 so just with, I don't mean to keep Kyle Corb on the motherfucking dart boy that we just keep yeah but there are guys other than him that had been for their prospective team that had a decent record ain't saying they was number one number two they could have been the second option before they got to him to pick him for an all-star team right there could have been a second option not a number one option on Right? There could have been a second option, not a number one option on another team.
Starting point is 00:49:47 There could have been a team that's in second or third where their second option was averaging 22, 23 and didn't get that call because they called him, right? His teammate was better. So that's my thing with it, right? So he got the call, yes. He's gonna pick the phone up and say yes, absolutely. I was doing that, but y'all know.
Starting point is 00:50:08 But there were other guys at the time that probably to this day don't have that All-Star next to their name because that. And other guys as well that got the call that we think that, okay, this guy has an all-star season, right? I got a good question. And somebody get hurt. And we think they're going to call this guy, and they call somebody off the wall, right?
Starting point is 00:50:34 We're like, fuck y'all get to him for? Like, how y'all get to that name? How'd you get to him? So that's what we're saying with this situation. Like, how the fuck y'all get to Kyle Corver when you got this dude doing this on the third best team? So... Maxie?
Starting point is 00:50:52 Garland? Where's the Philadelphia 76ers in comparison? I think Darius Garland gets right now over Tyrese Maxie. Why? Because his impact for what he's doing on his team is better. Thank you very much.
Starting point is 00:51:06 Yes. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. And Tyrese Max, he is an all-star. Yes. He is an all-star. But guess who's having a better season? Yes.
Starting point is 00:51:16 For his team, which makes him an all-star. Thank you so much, Mr. Martin. Yeah. You know, I'm going to keep it a bean. I Martin. Yeah, you know, I'm gonna keep it a bean angle never But like that I'm saying like so so with this metric, right? I don't like like I said Richard Joe number one. My question is that we and me and Jake here made it No, no, we should be ready. Yeah. I was looking like yo, we've been all been playing Care like in that case carries air rated. Oh, hey, what should I mean? well. In that case, Kerry should have made it. All four of us should have made it. If you had an argument, you'd say Kerry or Richard.
Starting point is 00:51:49 Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, so yeah. I have a question. Yes. When you said Garland, what? Garland, Maxie, or Garland, LaMelo, right? On the brochure, when these two teams is playing, who's on them? It's going to be...
Starting point is 00:52:10 Depends on who's playing well. Who's on it? When Charlotte is going to different cities, who's on the cover of that? Right? When kids is coming to the arena, do they have on lamella balls and a lamella ball jersey? Right? Right? He's coming to town ball jersey right right he's coming to town right that guy's coming to town there's like that that should be the only exempt that fan
Starting point is 00:52:33 favorite thing no just the guy who's who's who's putting people in with that like they so when they say these guys are not playing hard. Has anybody asked a question? I don't respect the players that are here. What? Why am I playing hard? This is not the best of the best. We play against the best of the best. We know who the best of the best is.
Starting point is 00:53:05 And you're telling me you're using team success to put in a third option, and I'm supposed to take this nigga serious, and we don't during the season. The best of the best is here. If you're winning. We asked him earlier, if Cal Corbett is in front of you, what are you doing? Easy work. He don't respect them why anybody so when you're talking about the best of the best players out here plan going at it
Starting point is 00:53:32 the best of the best is not there so you saying that is it even top if we go through the NBA if we go through the list right now can we say this is even top 50 in the NBA no we're not but it's who's playing well right now. Okay, who's playing well? Like, this is the guys that's... The Mellos not playing well? Yeah, he should be. Okay.
Starting point is 00:53:50 So, to your... To what you just said, right? I was listening, and the only way... The only way that it doesn't add up to what you're saying, if that name and that number one option is not playing like that, right? If the number... If he's not playing like that, I'm talking about when the guys that are playing well Like so with them so just
Starting point is 00:54:12 Wait, what I think is so you talking about just mellow. It's mellow because they took the fan they did that so I have a hard time with it because If you had the guy like just you take an opportunity away from like just say I'm like I played in one didn't know if it was good I planned on playing it more but my approach was I'm gonna go out I'm enjoy this shit I'm play hard right get him before I do bro so 26 6 and 4 so go out like think about what's on the... 26-6-4. I don't think that...
Starting point is 00:54:46 That's Devin Booker. Then you got LaMelo. He's out. You got Maxie. Think about the names I am saying versus the names that are there. Right? We're talking about... So let's go to where?
Starting point is 00:54:57 Trey. LaMelo. Kyrie. Booker. Maxie. Sabonis. Fox. Zach Levine, right?
Starting point is 00:55:09 These are names if you replace. Like, think about the fan names, the guys who are playing well. Who would you replace them with? You're picking off the list. So I don't think so. If those guys, so I think the Tyler Herro shouldn't be there. You should replace him with a yellow ball. I didn't want to say the names. Cage is clean. Cage is well. Cage is well. No, he's in. He't be there. You should place him on the mellow ball. I didn't want to say the names. Cage is clean.
Starting point is 00:55:25 Cage is well. Cage is well. No, he's in. He should be there. But I'm trying to think who else. Not over Trey. I don't think Cage should be there. I'm missing context here.
Starting point is 00:55:34 It's not about should he be over Trey. He should be there. I don't think Dame should be there right now. I'm missing context here. I don't think Dame should be there over Trey or LaMelo. I don't think Tyler Herro should be there over Dame or LaMelo. I mean, over LaMelo or Trey. So Pascal is fine?
Starting point is 00:55:53 Wait, I heard you just say something. Pascal is fine. I heard you say. All right, last point, Sean. Last point, but we got to move on. McGill, I heard you say, you said, why would we play hard against these type of guys? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:56:06 Were you there? Did you play? I'm telling you what you just said to me. I'm just going to. Because you all just cooked, and I listened to you. Are you going to use facts, or are you going to use facts? I'm going to use what you said. We should be able to play hard.
Starting point is 00:56:19 I'm using what you just said. All the things you said, I'm going to use. Now, what is the problem right now in the All-Star game? They're not playing hard, right? Okay, now go. Mamba mentality. Okay. No matter where I go...
Starting point is 00:56:33 He played against him. No matter who I'm playing up against... Uh-huh. Motherfucker, you in trouble. Okay. You better not ever relax when it's on my clock. Mm-hmm. So it's an all-star game.
Starting point is 00:56:45 It's a pickup game. It's a charity game. It's a fucking walk up and down the street. Who first? Me. Because this ain't the first time. Me. I'm first.
Starting point is 00:56:55 Challenge accepted. Huh? Play hard. You ain't got to ask me to do that. You ain't got to bring other best players in to give me an incentive to want to go hard. It's whoever show up. I don't play to bring other best players in to give me an incentive to want to go hard. It's whoever show up. I don't play to the level of my competition. It's whoever show up get cooked.
Starting point is 00:57:11 Don't matter. Barbecue sauce for everybody. So I don't understand that mentality of, man, I only play hard when I'm playing against the best niggas. And man, who are these niggas out here? They ain't that good. It's the All-Star game. I'm about to. I'm about to cut.
Starting point is 00:57:26 I'm about to cut. Give me a rebuttal. It seems like an easy MVP to me if they out there just bullshitting, right? They ain't good enough. I think dudes should play hard. Let him finish. You finished? Now, what are they saying about the All-Star game?
Starting point is 00:57:39 That it's borderline unwatchable. Unwatchable, why? Because the guys aren't playing hard. So what he just said has no relevance because it's not happening. What he just said is not happening. The Mamba mentality is not happening. So all of that- Why not? Because it's not happening.
Starting point is 00:58:02 Because they like LeBron. The fact is it's not happening. Because they like LeBron. The fact is it's not happening. Because they like LeBron. The fact is they like LeBron. Because when you watch the All-Star Games, what was he doing? What was he doing? Cooking. Same structure. Cooking.
Starting point is 00:58:13 You was there. You was in the Kobe's room. You was there. We got to move on. So again, what is the actual fact right now at the All-Star Games? The facts. What's the facts? It's hard to watch because guys aren't playing hard.
Starting point is 00:58:25 Okay. Who's the captain leading them? Okay, did he present any facts that trumps the actual facts of the complaint? You put some facts. No, right? It's just what he thinks should happen. Everybody should go hard. He asked if I had any facts in what he thinks should happen. Everybody should go hard.
Starting point is 00:58:47 He asked if I had any facts in what I said. Yes. Which means that we can show footage of the 2000, 2001, 2002 All-Star Games where everybody competed hard at a high level and did not want each other to fucking do what they were supposed to. I agree, but we're talking about what is the complaint today? That guys do not play hard. I don't give a fuck about 2000. What is the complaint today again?
Starting point is 00:59:04 The guys do not play hard. So the facts give a fuck about 2000. What is the complaint today again? They got you know Not playing hard and we're complaining you said they play not playing hard because the players they pick what if they don't respect other guys I don't guys are playing hard in the game Guys all respect each other though So what's that excuse? So you all top ten they can see each other every year Well, we used to be wanting to kill each other one thing to face me you put some incentives in it, man You put some money you put certain things in it, man. He do it. I want to be the best. That's the only thing you got We got
Starting point is 00:59:41 We got what y'all talking about. We got what you want to do. I don't even understand that language. All-star weekend next weekend. And I want to jump from the half court. Motherfucker, I can't. You can try, motherfucker. So all-star weekend next weekend, we will be there to cover everything. If everybody had that approach, the NBA would be a much better product. But they don't.
Starting point is 00:59:59 Reality is different. Overall, I want to win. Regular season game, all-star game, If everybody, if more guys had that approach, the NBA would be a much more palatable product. And so the NFL, right? Hold on. So the NFL jobs are at stake. Yep.
Starting point is 01:00:18 Each week. Yep. If you don't approach this shit a certain way each week, you might have a fucking pink slip on your goddamn desk when you get there on motherfucking Tuesday. Bags at the locker room. If it meant something and if it was that approach, it would be a better product.
Starting point is 01:00:33 If it was regular season, all-star, playoffs, it would be no different. Just like the NFL. Them guys out there in preseason fighting for a fucking job. Them guys doing the regular season fighting for a job. And the playoffs mean something to do trying to for a fucking job. Them guys doing the regular season fighting for a job, and the playoffs mean something to do trying to win the fucking Super Bowl. So if more guys had the approach that he's speaking of,
Starting point is 01:00:53 can I put myself in that situation? I'll let you get to your job, Joe. But more guys had that approach, it'll be a much better product. There was no off switch with a guy like me. I didn't have no other way. I asked the guy who had been to multiple, which was my teammate, what should I do? He told me, go out and be you. That's all you needed to hear, right? Go out and play hard and be who
Starting point is 01:01:14 you are. You do that shit, you'll be fine. So if more guys had that approach, more guys took that approach, it'd be a much better game, but they don't. So Luka hasn't really played much, right? And they're in eighth or above. When All-Star, they were sixth. So Kyrie is not an All-Star this year for carrying this team without the number one option? Right, okay. He's very capable. But he should have been there. Okay, so he should have.
Starting point is 01:01:37 Now think about some of the names that heightens the... So let me ask you a question. So he... Who you take out for? I don't give a fuck who he takes out. I don't care. I don't care who goes out. I'm just saying the names that should be in, they can figure this shit out.
Starting point is 01:01:52 It ain't about the names, bro. It does. The guys who are... Their names and how they're playing. You're telling me Pascal is playing better than who?
Starting point is 01:02:00 That's the easy... But what you're saying is whatever... You're saying regardless of the name and how they're playing, they should be in because of the name. That's what you're saying. The name and their game. But that's what you're saying is whatever you saying regardless of the name and how they're playing they should be in because of the name That's what you're saying in their game, but that's what I'm saying if another guy's playing good
Starting point is 01:02:11 Met you better than the name. Yeah, the name shouldn't just get the I'm saying they're playing very well also not better than the guy who's averaging 20 This man is averaging 27 and what's the name? What are you saying? I'm saying Darius Garland is averaging 21. Trey Young is averaging... 27 and 11. Double-double.
Starting point is 01:02:34 Double-double. And you're telling me Pascal and Garland or Mobley is playing better than him? In terms of playing better, what does that mean? Trey's averaging 23 or 12. Does it just mean more points? Better. 23 or 12. He's deserving.
Starting point is 01:02:51 Trey Young is very deserving. So we'll have a lot more all-star discussion in the coming days. That's all it is. We'll have a lot more all-star discussion in the coming days. You know what? Before the all-star break, Trey Young is having an All-Star caliber year. Every year. Kenyon, you know what the real problem is?
Starting point is 01:03:09 Here is the underlying issue with All-Star voting. They tell you vote top seven, right? So they tell the coaches, vote your top seven reserves. Then they get this list, and then the NBA puts them in position, right? So let's say Trey Young got the fourth most votes on the list. Well, they're only taking three guards. So that means this fourth guy, he's not going to make it.
Starting point is 01:03:40 Now, let's say someone like Pascal, because he plays a different position, he gets to get in because of the style they do. So they take it. They start now adding wins. The coach is not adding win shares. Don't give a fuck about that. They're doing wins and then position you play. That's how they're coming up with this list.
Starting point is 01:04:06 It's flawed, man. It's a flawed process. It can't be flawed. It is. It's a flawed process. Once they put it in position, it's flawed. If it wasn't flawed, the mellow ball would be a starter. If it wasn't flawed, the mellow ball would be a starter. Didn't they change it?
Starting point is 01:04:21 If the system wasn't flawed... They didn't change the... That's popular. LaMelo Ball would be a star. That's popular. Now, what I'm saying is, now you look at the list. Just say LaMelo, right?
Starting point is 01:04:32 You look at the list. You're saying he's not top seven? Out of all the people that's on the list, he personally is not playing better than them? No, because they're going to take these guards, these winning guards, and then he's behind them, and then everybody else that's in different positions, they automatically go because he doesn't qualify for that position.
Starting point is 01:04:53 That's the bad part about it. Like if seven guards are playing well, fucking seven guards go out there, get your heads beat in. Don't start putting them in position. That's the only part I don't like. We'll have a lot more discussed about the All-Star Game in the coming days. Like Sangoon. I'm sorry.

Starting point is 01:05:44 All right, let's keep it moving. Let's talk about something a little bit more positive. We'll unify one side of the couch, may not on the other side. So the blockbuster trade that sent Luka to the Lakers and AD to the Mavericks is still sending shockwaves throughout the league and beyond. After arriving in Dallas, Anthony Davis took the time to acknowledge us Lakers
Starting point is 01:06:00 fans who supported him through the best and the worst times and has never, ever wavered. AD released a heartfelt thank you to Lakers fans on social media saying in part, six years ago I came here with the vision to win a championship and I will never forget the moment we did. The business is basketball is a business just like all other businesses. I am grateful to the city where my first ring came from, grew my family and friendships and I will always have a home here. LA will always have a special place in my heart. Every great story has an exciting next chapter.
Starting point is 01:06:28 Dallas, here we come. So my family and I thank you. So we talked about a lot about the Lucas side of the trade yesterday, but should A.D. feel betrayed by the Lakers and how all this went down? Skip all that about the fires and shit, huh? Okay, we had to keep it condensed. So...
Starting point is 01:06:47 We are moving forward. It was a long-ass lengthy statement. Y'all don't like hearing me read anyway. Of all the bullshit you done read on here, you just gonna skip the fact that he said you feel some families with the fires, you just gonna... Of all the shit you could've said, you just gonna skip that part
Starting point is 01:07:12 I want to trade myself to let me put some sentimental shit in the fires in LA now your ass is fine Shit. Get the fuck out. That's all I'm saying, nigga. We ain't even want no motherfucking letter. You don't have to throw that in there, nigga. Hey, what do you think? You want to make us feel sorry for you, nigga? Hey, what time you start today? Shit. Goddamn. The only fire was you out the door. They called and said,
Starting point is 01:07:37 nigga, you fired your leg at L.A. And he was like, oh, man. Hey, nigga, I was lost for words. Shit, nigga. I had to call an ambulance. This is like, shit. Hey, what time you start drinking Hennessy today? Don't ask me about no five.
Starting point is 01:07:53 That nigga five. Yeah, that's only five I want to hear. You had your Hennessy in the cereal this morning? Yeah. Whew. Should Anthony Davis feel betrayed by the Lakers? Nah. Rashad?
Starting point is 01:08:07 No. Should he feel betrayed by the Lakers? No. No. Absolutely not. And this is the deep dive that I've done in the last 13 days with my research team. We found out all the reasons why. What did your research team tell you, Rashad? In 13 days?
Starting point is 01:08:29 13 days. You knew how long it was? Mm-hmm. Writing's on the walls, I told you. I said it yesterday. The writing's been on the wall. Luka Doncic injured. I wonder if anybody's really looked into it.
Starting point is 01:08:42 Is it about Anthony Davis or Luka? It's about, yeah. We were talking about AD. Oh, that's it. Who got traded for who? AD got traded for Luka. OK, just keep it Anthony. They work together, right?
Starting point is 01:08:55 They work together. So when you want to get a guy like Luka, right, it falls in your lap. This fell in they lap, man. This the only situation that made sense for Dallas. Was L.A. Every other superstar's tied up and don't make sense for L.A. It only makes sense
Starting point is 01:09:11 between them two. But guess who's in cahoots? Guess who worked together? Rob and Nico are best friends. That's why they kept it private. So for Anthony Davis, he should not feel anything but grateful.
Starting point is 01:09:26 Now you don't get to be blamed no more. You don't have to drive the car and have the motherfucker beside you keep driving for you. Yeah, give me this motherfucker, let me drive. Let me drive this motherfucker, let me give you, let me give you, turn him the right way. They got the two-stair wheels. Yeah, like the dummy. And then he push the button. Man, I got this shit from now on.
Starting point is 01:09:45 Now it's Luka team. Guess what we ain't got to do no more? Ain't talk about no Brian. I might as well be a Laker fan. I ain't really got to do nothing else no more but sit back and watch the dude from Gold member shoot jumpers. So you're saying AD shouldn't feel betrayed
Starting point is 01:10:04 by the Lakers for how this went down? Because they don't want to blame him anymore. Oh, he's free. He's free. He is free. No, he's free. Free. Free, free.
Starting point is 01:10:14 I helped you patch those stats for four years, big dog. Say thank you. You're welcome. Now it's time for me to go win one and get credit. Kareem, here I come. And in that statement, Kenyon, obviously we left out a lot of it. We wanted to condense it, but... I'm fucking with you, dawg. No, but it hurts my feelings.
Starting point is 01:10:36 Kenyon, you know, you like my big brother, it hurts my feelings. No, we ain't got to do all that, bro. No, but he said, I'm grateful to the city where my first ring came from. Not where my ring came from. There's more rings? Where my first, as if to imply there's going to be second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth. He did say that?
Starting point is 01:10:53 Where my first ring came from. I like his confidence. Do you think this move puts the Mavs in a position to get A.D. his next ring? 100%. They the frontrunners. They're above the thunder in the Western Conference. Absolutely.
Starting point is 01:11:09 They move right to the front. To the front. As a reminder, AD turns 32 in March. NBA champion... Gil reading his Google search. Your champion odds. It's a business. He should not feel betrayed. The math I did go down the immediate. It went down, right?
Starting point is 01:11:30 Let me I'm just I I Vegas they wouldn't win it not up. What was it? I ought to be in the championship last year That is if I don't know. There was the fifth seed my god, and they had local not just as a They are supposed to be great now. It wasn't different last year. They didn't have it last year. I can check. We know. We know.
Starting point is 01:11:51 All I can do is, then we're ready. We know. Since you know, we're ready. They weren't where they are now. Where were they? They ain't where they are now. Where were they? They were in lunch.
Starting point is 01:11:58 You know what I'm saying? Where were they? I don't know. Okay. I know they're not where they are now. I thought you just said you knew. So they're one, two, three, four, five. So Lakers is fifth now.
Starting point is 01:12:10 Six, seven, eight. They're ninth. Mm. Okay. All right, well... They in the ninth seed? They're ninth. They're ninth to win. They're odd. Okay, let's see.
Starting point is 01:12:23 The odds are ninth? Or 10 behind the Bucs, according to some books. Just depends. Math? Wait, is this last? 2000. 3-4? No, I can know all that.
Starting point is 01:12:36 So Lakers have six best odds to win the title. Mavs have the 10th best odds to win the NBA title in the aftermath of this trade. Oh, yeah. Bashaw, you said AD off the hook now. But now, is he going to experience that same situation in the aftermath of this trade. Oh, yeah. Oh, man. Bashaw, you said AD off the hook now, but now is he going to experience that same situation in Dallas, coming to replace a player that we saw,
Starting point is 01:12:55 Mavs fans, literally losing their shit over? Well. The Dirk statue right now, surrounded by a bunch of Luka memorabilia, memories, and cards, and notes. AD ain't got nothing to worry about, man, because he didn't get shipped off for just no reason. Like, the other guy got shipped off because they wanted to get off that asset
Starting point is 01:13:15 because they know something the public don't know. And they kept it private. When you come in, they expect you to win now with AD. It's no pressure still? Because you got Clay. But they bring you in because they think you could win as a championship. Absolutely. It's right now.
Starting point is 01:13:34 So that's no pressure. It's right now. And if you don't, Nico don't have no pressure if you don't win a championship. Yo, he got pressure if you don't. He said three to four years. He said, we trying to win in the next three, four years.
Starting point is 01:13:46 Because I will not be here in 10 and that'll be somebody else's problem. That's the chance you got with how old AD is? 30? It'll be 32 in March. 32?
Starting point is 01:13:53 You got four years out of AD before we get there. All right, well, let's move back over to the Lakers side. As for Luka, he was formally introduced as a Laker today.
Starting point is 01:14:03 Here's a snippet from his introductory press conference. Yeah, I would say, like you said, I thought I was going to spend my whole career there because I think loyalty is a big word for me, and I was trying to stay by that. But this, for me, is a fresh start.
Starting point is 01:14:18 I get to play in L.A. The fans are amazing. And I got the ocean here, so it's a really big thing for me but really i'm really excited to be here uh and getting to play for the lakers uh and i can say that and many many legends pass here many many championships so that's my goal man said he got the ocean. You know, we're living here so long,
Starting point is 01:14:48 we don't appreciate those type of things. We don't. I like that cold-ass water. It's got a lot of doo-doo and pee-pee in it, but it's still the ocean. This shit freezing. So, in the press conference, he was asked whether he ever indicated to the Mavs that he would not sign an extension.
Starting point is 01:15:03 This is what Luca had to say. I did not agree to the Mavs that he would not sign an extension this is what Luca had to say. I did not agree to the supermax extension did anyone on did you or anyone on your inner circle indicate that that might be the case? Absolutely not. I don't know why they're bringing up old shit but here we are. So Luca said he never indicated he wouldn't resign with the Dallas. Same question as AD. So, should Luca feel betrayed by the Mavericks? Yes.
Starting point is 01:15:35 The way they did him was unbelievable. We would never do no such thing like that to our franchise guys. So I'm happy you're here. Luca's going to take that feeling. I don't think they thought about the feeling of betraying this and he's going to put it into anger and he's going to come out hungry and ready to go but yeah I'm happy about this. It's a good feeling. Gives Shaluca a feel betrayed by the Mavs and how the situation went down.
Starting point is 01:16:17 Obviously Palenka and Nico Harrison very secretive, did not alert the agents until the final moments of the trade. You can rub the jersey if you want. No? Okay. I'll just put it back over here. You get to be near the ocean. Where are you going to be next to? You get to be by the ocean.
Starting point is 01:16:45 Look slim, too. I'm just going to say, I don't see where the 270's at. You should feel betrayed to go to the Lakers. Blindsided. Blindsided to go to the Lakers. Blindsided me every motherfucking day, Dan. I thought blindside was landing, and you ended up in motherfucker Memphis or Detroit.
Starting point is 01:17:09 I thought that was the blindside. I thought, like, you going to these cities as a number-one option or a superstar, like, the worst thing that can happen to you is traded to a bad city. Trade it to the Lakers. I'm pretty sure that Beverly House, you're going to get over it.
Starting point is 01:17:27 That beach property, you're going to get over it. Them celebrities at the game, you're going to get over it. Ladera Heights. Hop on the 90, you're right at the beach. I mean, obviously, when he got to the press conference, he's been to the All-Star game, right? He has. He's been to the all-star game, right? Yeah He's been to the Olympics with his country, right and he said this was the biggest press conference. He's ever seen welcome
Starting point is 01:17:51 Welcome to the big show It's showtime here. He'll get over it. Hmm Get over buddy There can feel betrayed he's gonna trade. Yeah, cuz Because the man went somewhere when he was 17 years old, man. You sound like an old man. You did. You sound country just right now. That man went somewhere with a 17-year-old, man.
Starting point is 01:18:14 Dang. No, I ain't going to lie to you. I'm going to just call him Papoose. Call him Papoose. I feel betrayed, but I do got a champ. Why? Oh, you know, like you said, he'll get over it. I do got a champ. Wow. Like you said, he'll get over it. I do got a champ on my arm, you feel me?
Starting point is 01:18:29 He'll get over it. I held you down for a long time. Yes, Pat. Pat, I held you down for a long time. And I got me a new one. You landed on his feet, for sure. I'm landing on my feet, right? No, you know, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:44 You got dunked and you got landed. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Talk about that part. Yeah, yeah, yeah. For sure. I'm landing on the feet right now Talk about that part Kicked out kicked out to the curb. Yeah, you let it on your feet Oh, yeah, okay all cats land on the feet. Let me look at it. Somebody's ready grab You got to get no voice though you get his voice on the seat in his body language still He's still processing it, right? There's no way that boy would have been ready to play. If he wasn't injured, there's no way he would have been ready to play, right?
Starting point is 01:19:11 Like, tomorrow or the next day. He needed a few days. He needed a few days. You know what I'm saying? He just walked in. He just walked in on his old lady with his best friend. Bam! He just walked in on his old lady with his best friend.
Starting point is 01:19:23 Bam! Damn sure. And he don't know what to do. Not at all. Grab the Glock or just call it a day. Or cry. Or cry in the car. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He cried on the plane.
Starting point is 01:19:32 And all I'm saying to everybody, I'm saying, like, BX the plug says, I don't know whether, hey, next person move, I'm letting off a rant. Better not say nothing. Better not say nothing. You know what I'm saying? All I'm saying is, as soon as you go outside, again, like, there's a group waiting for you.
Starting point is 01:19:45 I'm telling you, like BDX said at the end, I wake up and I'm sleeping in my car. So he was dreaming. It don't feel the same. It don't feel the same. It don't feel the same. That's what it looked like on his face. It just looked like he broke up with his sweetheart. But Lucas saying he thought he was going to spend his entire career with the Mavs.
Starting point is 01:20:00 Just bought a $15 million house. Had a super max waiting for him. Basically will stand to lose $116 million as a result of that contract. No, he'll get the bread back, but $116 million. Fiance. That's a fiance. It's a fiance, and then they cut off the wedding. No tax.
Starting point is 01:20:15 And that's why I said. With the no dollars. With the no tax. But that's what I'm saying. When you get traded, and you're going to lose $300,000, and you got to go to Cleveland for 260. Like, that hurts. It is hard to process that,
Starting point is 01:20:28 because you can't get it back in the market. Sorry, Shook. Sorry, Shook. Sorry, Shook. Can't get it back in the market, but if I get you, if you're telling me that you're gonna backdoor me... Mm. No ditty. At least put some lube on.
Starting point is 01:20:42 At least put the lube on. Send me to New York Send me the goddamn Boston. Send me to Chicago. Send me to LA Put me Lisa was a blue ball broke over me make it feel a little bit better You broke up with me for a nigga in a wheelchair, man Fuck you supposed to do with all this looping try was giving you everything Shit, they got shit fucked up over there. But look Have we ever heard of anybody actually demanding to be out of LA
Starting point is 01:21:17 No, don't call me that was just trick like What Do I do I won't go for that? Well, technically he wasn't out what happened is free agency happened You know, right? The white? The white? The white did. The white did. He wasn't built for that. Well, technically, he wasn't out. What happened is free agency happened, and they didn't call him the first day, so he just signed somewhere else. Oh, he didn't even wait for it.
Starting point is 01:21:34 Yeah, he didn't even wait to see if they were going to do something. Damn. But for the most part, like, this is... You get here, you feel happy here. No, he's going to wake up, he's going to wake up. Dallas is a nice place, trust me, but the sun is out. He gonna get to the facility, he gonna see the players, he gonna be like...
Starting point is 01:21:52 So, you mentioned Lucas. Lucas ain't here ever. Never been a part of a press conference that big. In Dallas, you can hide. The banners make you think different, though. In Dallas, you can hide. You can't hide in L.A. You can't hide in L.A.
Starting point is 01:22:04 You can't hide with me at all.'t hide in LA. You can't hide at all. You know what I'm talking about. There's no work in Dallas like that. Not walking around. You talking about the work. I mean, but not walking around like you could go to the grocery store. You seeing super. Grocery store.
Starting point is 01:22:17 Come on. 24 hour fitness. You know, you probably walk around to the game drinking a beer. We go 24 hour fitness. You see what we see in there. OK. I don't know what you talking about. Irrelevant to the conversation. We're going 24-hour fitness. You see what we see in there. Okay? Irrelevant to the comments. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:22:28 What we see, just regular 24-hour fitness. You know what I mean? All right, damn, girl. You're right, but girl, is that a Hyundai? You need a Spock truck. I thought you was out of my league. I saw, I saw, I saw. I see you getting your car.
Starting point is 01:22:44 That's your car. You look like you need a little bit of help. What you ignoring me for? You don't supposed to be ignoring me. Stop driving that. She like your man over there. She don't get extra cheese for the third or ninth. She say not, not.
Starting point is 01:22:57 She get a hamburger. I thought you was about something. I thought you was about something. He walk around this bitch like he drive a Mercedes. Nope. As usual, the work unifies the couch. The one unifies that couch. At all times.
Starting point is 01:23:14 At all times. So we can come to a common ground. We have a common ground when we talk about that. The work getting into a hot dog. I'm just saying. In Dallas, I mean, they got wholesome women out there. I'm just saying. They got women trying to be independent.
Starting point is 01:23:29 Yeah, they independent down there. Yeah, but you talk about Dallas. You talked about Luka in the press conference today saying he had never been in a press conference this big. We got TMZ. We got media everywhere. That's what I'm saying. You got Lakers fans who will, you know,
Starting point is 01:23:41 the honeymoon will be very brief. Let them have one bad game. No. How he plays the game, what he does, like... They can call him fat out of shit. Whatever you want to call him. But that's what I'm talking about. He probably eating like crazy in Dallas somewhere. I don't give a fuck. Cool.
Starting point is 01:23:58 You catch him eating the... Can I break down something for y'all? Luca, two words. Two words. Simply wholesome, sir. Can I break down something real quick? That's what I'm talking about. Big patties,, two words. Two words. Simply wholesome, sir. Right on sloths real quick. That's what I'm talking about. Big patties, whatever you need. A fat man averaging 34, 9, and 8.
Starting point is 01:24:10 9 and 9? I'm going to take it. I'm thinking about it. Michael Finley grabbed the beer, so he must have been walking around Dallas. 34, 9, and 9. Hey, if he want to be Marcus Jordan out this bitch, I'm going to look the other way. If he want to get caught with the beer and the Coke, cool.
Starting point is 01:24:31 Luka, do you. How many players bounce back from Achilles? It's his calf. How many players bounce back from Achilles? Depends. Rubster. No, if it's your jumping foot, not many. The opposite, like Kevin Durant, it was his opposite foot.
Starting point is 01:24:50 So the way Luka plays and the injury that he has with the weight that he sustained, the re-injury risk for him is going to be more common than not and it's going to put him out more time. He had a re-injury of the same. The calf strain. So you see what a calf strain is? It's borderline on where the Achilles is, the calf Achilles. You look at McCaffrey, you look at KD, both their calf muscles pop when you can see it. Lucas did the same thing. Lucas was out how many games? 26. If your strength and conditioning don't add up to your recovery time that we have set for you for a calf strain,
Starting point is 01:25:31 you re-injure that calf strain and you put yourself in jeopardy to have a strained Achilles. Who else had a strained Achilles? Giannis. Playoffs. Bucks., missed the whole series. Came back next year. We don't know how long that recovery stint was. We don't even know if he had surgery or anything. But that calf thing is big enough for them to question moving forward.
Starting point is 01:25:59 To be honest, I don't give a fuck what they're questioning. If he's not available for the Lakers, think about him going back out there and re-injuring that and becoming what AD was for the Lakers. Injury prone. You got another injury prone superstar. So what you going to do now? We gave him to you on the strength of you diluting the picks of Dalton Connect and first round picks and say, no, no, no, listen.
Starting point is 01:26:24 We're taking on a real liability for you. You don't get that, too. All right, you're right, you're right, you're right. With the information we gave you, let's do this deal before motherfuckers find out. Let's do this deal before some motherfuckers find out. We ain't tell nobody. Bashad, I just thought. You know there's only one city complaining, right?
Starting point is 01:26:44 So I don't give a fuck what the reasons like you can say whatever reason you want You can say Anthony Davis was all Superman did anybody from LA say oh no Was there any funerals out side of Staples, you know why bad because all the players are now like we don't know What's gonna happen Katie's sitting around like man. He really might send me anywhere Now they really might and not tell me nothing not anywhere No cuz they was gonna send Luca they was gonna get him off to and they like we need to see him wherever they can get him off to. They're like, we need to get him somewhere. Because you know what happened the last time this happened particularly was in San Antonio with a particular guy who we didn't know
Starting point is 01:27:33 had an injury that was lingering. They got off that asset. He went and won a championship. But what has his career been since? He won, though. What has his career been since? That was the year after, too. So he was able to get healthy
Starting point is 01:27:46 They got off that asset dude that brought them a championship in the MVP. No, he got off that No, he they got off him. They put they pushed him out. No, he didn't want to be go back and look at the situation Go back and look at it. He didn't feel like they was diagnosing him, right? He's trying to figure out what was wrong with him, too So his whole career do you think the San Antonio Spurs regret letting him go? Well based on what based on what's happened thus far? What year was that? Yes I mean I can just assume after he left 32 wins 33 wins 34 wins 22 wins. They rebuild it Just like they did to get Tim Duncan. We're not going to stop. They got Wimby.
Starting point is 01:28:29 They got Wimby based on the trajectory that they went. Yeah, they was number one. They got Wimby right now based on the trajectory they took. That's on them. So it worked out for them. Listen. They can come out with, again, they can come out with anything they want to try to justify it. They're only justifying it to their fan base.
Starting point is 01:28:59 Los Angeles Lakers and the NBA does not actually care. We did not say, oh, man, we just lost a two-way player. They're like, did you notice he wrote, oh, hey, you know, this is a great time in L.A. Did anybody respond back? They're trying to put the fire, they're trying to get some sympathy. Did anybody respond back yet? Nah, they played like they didn't see it. Do we care? Do we care as Hoopers, though?
Starting point is 01:29:32 Hell yeah, I'm a Laker fan. So, Sean, to your point, though, you have to be a little bit cautious as the Lakers to try and figure out why the Mavs would want to come off of Luka for what a lot of people would consider. We've seen all these crazy trades in recent years. We've seen what go bear got see what Donovan Mitchell got. Mm-hmm Rob's a good sitting there like I do man's doing in the first seems seems a little light He's doing what Gil's doing. That's what Rob is thinking. Like you want to do what? But it is Luka Doncic yeah, it's like it's Luka 25 years old soon to be 26. At the end of Black History Month. But AD is a good player, though.
Starting point is 01:30:08 Talking about the picks and shit, though. But you sent AD in, like, three picks? We did. But... We didn't... He gone. He's not here anymore. Like, we just... I know, but I'm saying... But we only had one pick, right? I didn't fucking have any picks.
Starting point is 01:30:21 You said one first. I don't... You can't send three picks to AD. I don't care what we... Yeah, it had. One first. One first. You can't send three picks to A.B.S. I don't care what we send. Yeah, it is. Four Luka, yes, you do. You're talking about a 25-year-old superstar. They would have did it.
Starting point is 01:30:35 The Lakers would have did it. I mean, how many? The next three first-round picks the Lakers would have did for you. I know. How old was Shaq when he left Orlando? He's signed here, right? How old was Shaq when he left Orlando? He signed here, right? How old was Shaq when he left? He got traded to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Starting point is 01:30:51 Oh. He did? I thought he signed as a free agent. I don't know. Junior when he came in, so he was what? Yeah, he signed as a free agent. I thought he signed as a free agent. He did?
Starting point is 01:30:59 He was, I believe, 23 when he left. When he left Orlando. Yeah. Played his last season in Orlando. He was 23. He was 24 when he played with the league. Was he traded or? Was he? No.
Starting point is 01:31:14 I thought he was free agent. Yeah, it was a free agent trade. And we got three championships out of him. You let him go? You let him go? They? You let him go? They didn't think he was going to leave. They didn't want Kobe. He was younger.
Starting point is 01:31:31 Kobe got drafted. They said he let Shaq walk. When? Orlando, you and Penny just took us to the conference finals. I'm saying, at 23 years old, why am I letting Shaq walk in free agency? One of the things they did was that they voted in an Orlando newspaper, like, should you give Shaq $100 million? And it was a large percentage of people that voted no,
Starting point is 01:31:54 and that really pissed off Shaq. Yeah, it was money back then. They didn't really, them $100 million was, they wasn't being signed yet. That's what happened when you got one of the motherfuckers' team that they added to the NBA. Yep. Wasn't original. The original team would have been like, you goddamn right. I mean, that's just one of these things you don't just, like, even if Memphis got off of Ja after that, trust me, whoever got him was not going to question. If San Antonio right now says, oh, we're going to give up Wimby, trust me, that other side is not going to question.
Starting point is 01:32:31 We don't care why you're giving up a 25-year-old. You can say his weight. You can give me whatever excuse you want. Because he's 25. So he can get on a diet. We can fix his conditioning we can do whatever he's 20 he's not a 30 year old he's 25 most 25 year Pelicans is not even giving off a goddamn Zion they sit here like hey we got you this okay okay
Starting point is 01:33:01 okay okay okay okay okay okay okay as soon as he come in, 32. He reminded us all. Like, they're not even coming off of him. Oh. Right? And like I said, he's so young, I don't know if I'd trade him yet. 28, 29, you're in your, you're like, you're setting yourself. 25, you're not setting your stone.
Starting point is 01:33:24 24-year-old Brandon Roy, do you guess he goes that trajectory? His name? His name? No, no, they knew that in the draft. Yeah, he was bone to bone in the draft. That's why he went seven. If you look at his, what's the name, they already said, the best player in the draft, rookie of the year.
Starting point is 01:33:41 So listen to what you just said. They knew shit the public didn't know. They knew shit the fans didn't know. They knew shit the fans didn't know. They knew shit. They knew at some point this boy needs, going to give the fuck out. Because we see the bone on bone before we drafted him. We making the decision, right?
Starting point is 01:33:57 I mean, this is the decisions these people got to make. They got to make decisions where, hey man, is he going to be here long term? Is he going to be available long term? Is he going to be available long term? Available. The way he play, but the way Luka play, he's going to keep getting re-injured. That's an injury that you move off of a step. He's not available.
Starting point is 01:34:18 He's older. He's not available. AD. AD played 76 games last season. AD about to play in a couple days. He's been playing the most games in his career. Finally. This year.
Starting point is 01:34:29 And I'm getting punked by everybody telling him he's soft and shit. Man, because he's been robbing. That was the proof to people. We've been telling Robin, you need to take off that cape, boy. And Robin's like, it all comes together. I can't take the cape off without taking the whole thing. So back to back, you guys brought up... I'm not going to question what happened. A.D. is like, it all comes together. I can't take the cake off without taking the whole thing. So back to back, you guys brought up Tom. I'm not going to question what happened.
Starting point is 01:34:48 AD was like, I'm leaving. He said, all right. Palika was like, all right, man. Imagine how that done. He knew. He knew. All right, man. He thinking about trading you for Luka.
Starting point is 01:34:59 For Luka. Look at that. Hey, make sure. All right, I'm going to my seat. Where you sitting? Hey, close the door behind you, please. Hey, close it. Let that wind in. Hey, make sure. All right. Where's my shit? Where you sitting? Hey, close the door behind you, please. All right. Hey, close it.
Starting point is 01:35:06 Let that wind in. Hey, is the lookout there? I ain't coming back. I ain't coming back. I ain't coming back to this motherfucker. He don't be trying to. Now you know if you train me, I ain't coming back. I ain't coming back.
Starting point is 01:35:16 All right, man. Look. Hey, man. Been helping y'all keep the fire down in this bitch for a long time. Get to the door and look back over your shoulder. Make sure I didn't look back. You sure? He gone now. Now go and keep that magnum.
Starting point is 01:35:27 That's what he said. Now go and keep that magnum. So you guys brought up Shaq earlier. So before Shaq came to the Lakers, Orlando Sentinel conducted a poll asking whether Shaq was worth $115 million. Over 90% of the
Starting point is 01:35:44 some 5,000 people who responded didn't feel Shaq was worth that money. We saw what happened after that. He went on the Lakers. Won three trips. But let's get back to Luka real quick. It's bad business. Wait, hold on. You said, wait. It's bad business. Wait, hold on.
Starting point is 01:35:59 Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. It's bad business. They did a real poll. Orlando Sentinel. And how many people? He said he's not worth it. He said he's not worth it. And how many people? So 5,000 people.
Starting point is 01:36:12 5,000. And over 90%. So about 4,500 of those people, you know. He left after what year? The third? Jack decided to leave because of 5,000 people? His fourth season. So he averaged 23, 29, 29, and 26. Round up, go 26.6.
Starting point is 01:36:33 You know, this is the arena. They beat the Chicago, which Michael Jordan. And 5,000 people voted. 90%? 4,500 of those 5,000 people voted. 90... 4,500 of those 5,000. Are they still alive? Because I'm pretty sure they committed suicide after that. I mean, that's not what we were advocating for here on this program.
Starting point is 01:36:58 Hope that they lived good lives and regret and agony. He said, hope that they lived. To vote no on that poll. Just hope that they were disappointed. I'm on that poll. Just hoping they were disappointed. I'm trying to figure out what did they see before Shaq got there. They probably heard that number. Before Shaq got there, like, yeah.
Starting point is 01:37:13 He ain't worth it. Didn't see much. I think the Magic had only been around. Should've come a year. 29 and 13. That's crazy. Had Disney World and Universal Studios both popping at those points.
Starting point is 01:37:25 23. Lost their luster. How'd they lose? Did Nick Anderson miss free throws? Yeah. Yeah. But let's get back to Luka. During the press conference, Lakers GM Rob Palenka, who was wearing that snug-fitting leather jacket.
Starting point is 01:37:40 Hardest man in the world. Very tight leather jacket, was asked about having Luka on the roster and building around him going forward. Here's what he said. It's a gift. We're talking about a 25-year-old that is top three player in the universe. I can't think of a more amazing starting point to build a roster for the next decade. And I know he has the drive to win that we have here. Our fans are going to see that every night on the court.
Starting point is 01:38:15 I know up here he might seem calm and casual and quiet, but we know the alter ego comes out and we'll see it at crypto.com soon. And I can't wait for it. So before I ask the question, I just got a Luca's beard looking very well. Man, whoever his barber is. Shout out, JC. We share a barber with Luca, in case you guys were wondering. No, no, no, Luca shares a barber with us.
Starting point is 01:38:41 Thank you, Kane, for correcting me once again. No, don't. Don't do that shit. I heard Luka want to say it. Was JC in the arena today? No. No. Oh, so... I got cut yesterday.
Starting point is 01:38:52 Luka is the number-one haircut option now. No, he cut his first and then went over there. So, no, we still first. So I got my hair cut yesterday. But did you get it cut today? I didn't need one today. I didn't need one today. Josiah.
Starting point is 01:39:05 Can we stick together, Kenyon? Did you get it cut today? I didn't need one today. I didn't need one today. Josiah. Can we stick together, Kenyon? I noticed you did not rub the Luka jersey when you walked in or at all during this. It's a Bronny jersey. It's two sevens. It's a Bronny jersey. Look at that. No, it was a Bronny jersey.
Starting point is 01:39:19 It's a Luka jersey now. It's a Lakers jersey, but the name on the back says Bronny James. Luka Bron. Luka James. Luka jersey now. It's a Lakers jersey, but the name on the back says Brian James. Yeah, Luka Braun. Luka James. Luka James. Luka James. Because they're about to combine for some shit.
Starting point is 01:39:30 But first and foremost, Palenka said, Luka, top three basketball players in the year. No, no, no, no. First, you better be correct when that white man talking. He said gift first. With a capital T. Wait. Gift first. Ta a capital T. Gift first. Top three not in the world.
Starting point is 01:39:50 The universe mean in space and everything over aliens and shit. The mind guards. So you can see how he values this entity. You got it. What?
Starting point is 01:40:04 Over UFOs. What? ET and all. All that shit. All that shit. Look at that point. Over all this. Over this.
Starting point is 01:40:14 Dark Vein and all that. Over that. Over Dark Vein. Top three in the universe. Is it fair to say that viewership will go up? Hell yeah. Yes, it is. Where? On Spectrum Sportsnet up? Hell yeah. No. Yes it is. Where?
Starting point is 01:40:26 On Spectrum Sportsnet? Internationally. Okay. It's already up internationally. I said going up. I said going up. You said no. Cable, no.
Starting point is 01:40:34 It doesn't even make sense for you to say it. You should think about what I'm saying before you just... It's going to go up. It's going up. Which means there's no other place to go. Yeah, it's going up. Up for you if a product is going up. Well, the ceiling is the roof.
Starting point is 01:40:50 And the teams are unifying. You're going up. Who said it's down? We know who said it's down. But here you go. It's the whole conversation. We've just been having it. Cable TV is saying it's down because NBA left cable.
Starting point is 01:41:02 I just said it's going up. Who said it's down? It doesn't have to be down to go up. It don't have to be down. Fuck! He just want to be against me so bad. It don't have to be down for it to go up. But you're not using, you're just, you're not.
Starting point is 01:41:17 Because you just don't want to hear me talk by myself. You're saying going up like. He just don't want to hear me talk by myself. He's like, shut up, nigga. That ain't going up. He's going down. Shut up. I don't think that's what's been going on. I don't like hearing's like shut up nigga that ain't going up he's going down shut up I don't like hearing your fucking voice shut up that ain't it that ain't right
Starting point is 01:41:31 but you're indicating that something's wrong no I'm not indicating shit I said it's gonna go up how do we know how can you prove that oh cause it went up do you know what it is now that's all everybody how can I prove that Luka Doncic going to the Lakers is gonna improve viewership you How can I prove that Luka Doncic going to the Lakers is going to improve viewership? You want me to prove that?
Starting point is 01:41:47 Yes. Actually, yeah. Okay, let me show you why. We just did a fucking episode on Gil's Arena. And we had 80,000 people. 85. 85, okay. But right now, you go back to the episode.
Starting point is 01:42:06 A great episode. You all should go back as well. 743,000 people wanted to know about Luka and the new movement. That alone should be a metric to say if we're a part of the viewership of the NBA, which I think we are because we drive all the new narratives.
Starting point is 01:42:26 So that means they're watching us. They're watching the league. They can't wait to see the... So I think they came to see us, regardless if Luka got traded or not. That's just my personal opinion. Just saying, it looked like the shit going up because we just broke records and shit.
Starting point is 01:42:37 It's for sure going up. So Laker fans that were watching LeBron James, Luka fans that was watching Luka in his country, have a reason to tune in. He plays for the Lakers now. Yeah, he's playing for the Lakers. We're going to L.A. LeBron James is... Luka fans that was watching Luka in his country. Have a reason to tune in. He plays for the Lakers now. Yeah, he's playing for the Lakers. We're going to L.A. The excitement going...
Starting point is 01:42:52 The difference between us going to Dallas from over here and now going to Los Angeles is different. He wasn't tuning in before, those two entities. But you know what I mean. Come on, Keough. You know what I mean. I know what you're trying to imply. Yeah, I I mean. I know what you're trying to imply. Yeah, I get it. But I know you're trying to imply that it never was down, but he didn't say that.
Starting point is 01:43:11 He just says it's going up. And how is he going to prove that? I want him to start proving his statements. So on a social level, Gil, just some facts for you guys. I know. Say it. NBA has more social media followers than any other sports league. Hit it again. They have more than what? Any NBA has more social media followers than any other sports league. Hit it again.
Starting point is 01:43:25 They have more than what? Any other? More social media followers than any other sports league. Let him finish, man. Say it again. Go. Okay. Thank you, Gil.
Starting point is 01:43:33 Appreciate it. Let me help. More social media followers than any other sports league. NFL, MLB, NHL, MLS. Uh-huh. Larger than any sports governing body as well. Uh-huh. IOC.
Starting point is 01:43:43 NBA has two times more Instagram followers than the other four major U.S. leagues combined. Combined, right? So they're two times than every other sport combined. Keep going, sir. That's all I have. Oh, I mean, we can do over... You can keep going higher, though.
Starting point is 01:43:56 You don't... You want to stay here? No, okay, no, because this narrative of the NBA viewership is down is because the people who's reporting it, cable TV warning them, the NBA left them. So it's like a bitter bitch crying about, oh yeah, the numbers is down.
Starting point is 01:44:15 But where's the proof to this? Because where we're standing, we're worldwide sports. We're overseas, we're worldwide sports. We're overseas. We're in different countries. Where is the number? You think China has TNT? They're watching. There's no TNT metrics for them.
Starting point is 01:44:34 There's no CBS for them. So they're watching it on platforms that obviously Warner Cable is not going to provide for us. But can it still go up to more? Are you going to prove it? What did you just say, man? Don't you know I got access to data? You have access to Instagram people that's sending you stuff. I don't know why you try to use me with data.
Starting point is 01:44:58 I work in the data community, Gilbert. Do you want me to run you my fucking resume about why I know television ratings? Show me your data. Do you want me to run you my fucking resume about why I know television? Show me your data. Do you want me to show you that? Yeah, let's go. You want me to show you the three different platforms that's offered me opportunity to have actual networks on there? Okay, I'm not going to go here with you.
Starting point is 01:45:16 I want to see your data on this. Go to your phone. Analyst. Go to your data. Linear TV is what? What is linear TV? You know what that word means? Do you know what linear TV is? Okay, he don't know what linear TV is. Linear TV is the shit you call the cable that's ABC. You know the Roku shit, all the shit you can add on the apps and all that shit. Do you add that shit onto linear TV?
Starting point is 01:45:41 Is that a count? Does that count as the same? No. It don't? Of course not. Let's see. Let's see if it adds up. And while we're saying, go ahead and download
Starting point is 01:45:53 the Underdog app. Use promo code GILL. You get $1,000 of bonus cash plus a special pick-up. You can use those pick-ups on Luca when he returns. GILL's argument is because the NBA is not on linear TV
Starting point is 01:46:03 that the reason we're seeing... I did not say we're on linear TV. I said cables. He's not saying what you're saying, okay? Just listen before you rebut him. Let's all stick together. Gil's argument is that the NBA is not on linear TV, that the reason all the numbers are down
Starting point is 01:46:18 and all the other streaming platforms, there are supposed to be 500 million Chinese people watching the Laker games. That's horse shit. Watching the NBA. Watching the NBA people watching the Laker games. That's horseshit I've been watching the NBA watching the NBA not not just the lake That's horseshit first things first is it doesn't matter if folks are using alternative apps Legal platforms or streaming services such as playback or YouTube because those numbers don't count as selling ads This man is readings the name of the game is selling ads if the content is behind a paywall
Starting point is 01:46:48 What do you do every time what do you do on your phone where's your what do you do? What are you doing is real your facts coming from from Instagram DM Tim? Now keep keep keep going. Where are you getting your just go you're getting your thanks from a website go Go go go From a website Keep reading Somebody else's yeah, I'm gonna keep You know, I got a bad ear neck those numbers don't count because they're behind a paywall. The viewership is counted differently because they already paid the subscription. You already paid.
Starting point is 01:47:33 It's paid now. Whether you watch or not. It's counted differently. Netflix doesn't care if you watch your show as long as you pay the subscription. The reason why NBA runs behind a paywall is because the more global and every country can't get NBC boo boo boo Which is free in America per our laws of nation broadcasting companies Which is why when you said you go from free to paid you're gonna lose viewership because that's what I said last time You're going from free to pay you don't go from YouTube to patreon and think you're not gonna lose viewership because you're giving it for free
Starting point is 01:48:04 Not gonna go from free to pay for this when I just had it for free. You're going to lose viewership just by default. But you're going to show different numbers because downloads and streams are counted what? Differently. But Sean, just hold on. He don't like it. Just say it. I'll just say something real quick.
Starting point is 01:48:23 Please. I understand everything you're saying. But the NBA just signed an 11-year, $76 billion agreement. The new one, right? The new agreement. That the other one was $25 billion? I think. My point is, so whatever we're saying, that starts next year.
Starting point is 01:48:39 The numbers went up, right? So the bread is still flowing in. Do you know why the numbers go up? Okay. Because you have to reach now a new metric. Okay. You have to now reach a whole... This is the landing spot for you.
Starting point is 01:48:51 $76 billion, you got to read that money. That money got to come back to us. But they already paid it to the... Okay. All right. All right. So that was a nice read, my brother. You did very great from somebody else's work. Well, let's see what you got. So let's... So you're saying that...
Starting point is 01:49:04 Don't get on your fucking phone, either. Let's go. You got in yours, right somebody else's world. Let's see what you got. So you're saying that... Don't get on your fucking phone either. Let's go. You got in yours, right? Let's go. So you're saying because it's not free anymore and it's behind paywall. Now this free entity can only go off the views from them.
Starting point is 01:49:22 They don't know what's happening under paywall because that's not their situation, right? So how are the viewers down if this entity, we left here, we're here now. So you can't tell us what the views are up or down because it's not a part of your platform anymore. Your platform is free. You're a cable. You don't know what's happening on the streaming services. So when you're reporting your numbers, of course, they're going to be down on your platform because everybody else shifted to another platform. And I understand what you're trying to say is they don't know how to do the numbers because everyone already paid for the subscription, right? You use Netflix.
Starting point is 01:50:10 On occasion. No, you said Netflix when he said that. I'm just saying in terms of- What was football on? What was the Christmas- They were on Netflix. Did they have real numbers in real time? They reported numbers, but those Netflix is traditionally very secretive about their streaming. But they reported. No numbers.
Starting point is 01:50:26 They didn't report no numbers. Stop trying to push that. They didn't report no numbers. So keep going. Let me go use the bathroom. Can you look up the numbers that they reported? These niggas. Great.
Starting point is 01:50:39 They say that it drew 30 million. 30 million. Okay. So there's a number there. And Ravens, Texas was 31.3 million. Okay. So they have numbers. That's what was reported.
Starting point is 01:50:49 What was on cable? There wasn't no cable, right? So... How many viewers did you lose? What? How many viewers did you lose if it's not on cable, it's only on this platform? It used to be free where everybody could just come in and watch it.
Starting point is 01:51:07 How many viewers did you lose by making it a paid thing only? Oh, thank you, sir. You don't know. Do you agree that you lost some? You... Do you agree that you lost some? We lost it here because we gained it here. The average audience between eights or however,
Starting point is 01:51:29 between the ages of this, 20, was it 34? They're on their phones now. They don't watch cable. How many people on cable? On your phone is cable. Your phone is cable. He's using a flawed, that's flawed. Everybody watches cable on their phone.
Starting point is 01:51:43 I'll let you eat. Cable. What is cable itself down? 50-something percent. It lost 5.7 million people this year. So if cable is down across the board, that means people are leaving it. They're going to
Starting point is 01:51:57 platforms because it's cheaper. Bro, it's this thing called live channels. Live channels are on every single streaming platform where you can go watch the live channel, the free shit on the actual platform that you're saying that are not on your phone. It's on your phone.
Starting point is 01:52:16 I can watch live channels. I can watch Days of Our Lives, General Hospital, all that shit on my phone. On where? On Amazon, any of them. Now, let's try this again. Since you don't do your own research, Nelson don't have those numbers. They don't have Amazon's number.
Starting point is 01:52:35 They don't have Hulu's number. They don't have a streaming service number. They only have their data. Sir, overseas, what are they using different streaming services they don't they don't have their channels are on the apps apps live channels cable TV is on the apps now so that means it's not only on linear TV but it's on the phone but to the point to the point I think you're trying to make us we're just talking about the TV angle but you gotta talk about TV is
Starting point is 01:53:07 now on phone no longer just sit in front of the fucking ESPN TV and ESPN app is too different so you can talk about traditional viewership it's live channels live channels live channels on paramount and shit like that you're talking about love don't have that research, man. So if you're watching... Don't have it, man? If you're watching... What are you saying, man?
Starting point is 01:53:29 If you are watching on... Shut up, man. If you're watching on the app, you don't have those numbers, man. Don't say that in the world, man. So, but to the other point, you talk about TV viewership, but there's a lot more components to it. You talk about something like YouTube, where the NBA is the first professional sports league to surpass 20 million subscribers, 12 billion lifetime video views on the platform. According to reports, every 90 days the NBA reaches over 75 million unique viewers on YouTube,
Starting point is 01:53:53 who watch on average more than 35 minutes of content on the channel. So, regardless of all that, let's get back to the topic at hand. They just say what the fuck ever. Luka Doncic, who I think led to this, took us down this rabbit hole. Do your own research. We heard what Rob Palenka said. Luka, top three basketball player in the universe.
Starting point is 01:54:12 That's what we was talking about? That's what, okay, you know, I'm always gonna bring it back. Motherfucker, the motherfucking people in the chat be sending him that shit. Stop, do your research. The same people send you all that shit? So, I do my own research.
Starting point is 01:54:20 Whatever, nigga. I do my own research. Whatever, nigga. I had a whole conversation. Working a hot dog. Whatever. Working a whole conversation. Whatever. Working a hot dog. Whatever. Working a hot dog. Whatever.
Starting point is 01:54:27 Working a hot dog. Whatever. Where'd you get yours from? Whatever. Me. No, no, no. Where'd you get yours? Who sent you?
Starting point is 01:54:32 Me. Guy I work with. The data analyst I work with. Work with my company. I got CBS and PCOS. That's cool. Had a whole conversation about that. That's cool.
Starting point is 01:54:39 You got to go there. You got to go there. Yeah, I want to be right. Yeah. Because you want to win. I don't just want to talk. You can't beat me. I don't want to just talk, man. You can't beat me., I wanna be right. Yeah. Yeah, cause you wanna win. I don't just wanna talk. You can't beat me. I don't wanna just talk, man.
Starting point is 01:54:46 You can't beat me. I wanna be right. NBC can't help you. I like giving right answers to these people. Hey, hey. NBC helped him and he still got cooked. You can't cook facts. NBC helped him.
Starting point is 01:54:56 You can't cook facts, dog. NBC helped him. You can't cook facts. So now we gotta look at NBC like, what the fuck are y'all doing? Y'all gotta prepare your boy a little bit better. You can't cook facts. Shit. That got to look at NBC like, what the fuck are y'all doing? Y'all got to prepare your boy a little bit better. You can't cook facts. Shit.
Starting point is 01:55:07 This nigga came to the barbecue with no meat. You can't cook facts. You can't cook facts. You came to the barbecue with just barbecue. You can't cook facts, man. That's just how it goes. Hey, roasted on the motherfucking fire. Nigga read a whole DM just saying shit wrong.
Starting point is 01:55:22 We got Nick back. We got Swaggy P back in the building. Nelson and... Nelson Mandela. Nelson. It's Nelson. We heard what Rob Pelika said. You scared the fuck out of him.
Starting point is 01:55:37 And I never seen Kenyon jump. Kenyon's like, what the fuck? My bad ear. I didn't realize he was reading somebody else's writing. Motherfucker reading a script over there Like I'm the only one both of you read shit from other people read I don't read from other pump The only boys are both of me reading Ronnie say and all these other reader hold it Smith Otis Smith told me all this is about oh
Starting point is 01:56:06 whoo-hoo the GM man get the fuck out of the whole way you won't be reading mother-motherfuckers let's take a breather Luca coming to Los Angeles was supposed to unite the city Kendrick won five Grammys there's a lot of good positive things going on but your work sitting there we heard we heard my work the work a work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook.
Starting point is 01:56:25 The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook.
Starting point is 01:56:25 The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook.
Starting point is 01:56:26 The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook.
Starting point is 01:56:26 The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook.
Starting point is 01:56:27 The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook.
Starting point is 01:56:27 The work helped me cook. The work helped me cook. now for sure I think you have to get a player like this to get LeBron this not I don't want to say respect like ad didn't get the respect he didn't ready was respected but he was too sweet I know look at the bucket man it's hard it's hard to take the ball away from somebody that could do so much. At LeBron, at Luka's age, he's like on pace to do what LeBron's doing, stat-wise, almost. If he plays as many games, but nobody gonna, I don't think he's gonna play that long, but somebody that averaged down there 37 points is, it's hard to get him off the ball. LeBron gonna have to be AD now.
Starting point is 01:57:24 And do you think LeBron's going to have to be AD now. And do you think LeBron will have any issue with that? No, I think he respects Lucas to that point where he knows he can't do that here. He can't force Luca out or get Luca out. He'll be gone before Luca will. And I don't feel like he needs like it's he needs somebody like that because ad wasn't You can't just give ad the ball and say huh you could give to him sometime But you can't give it to him at the top of the key. Go get a bucky like that
Starting point is 01:57:59 And you say he was he didn't respect Lady. That's his boy. Who? LeBron. He didn't respect him enough to be like Batman, to make him Batman. His name didn't hold weight like that. I can't, you can't make somebody Batman. Either you're Batman or you're not. I just... I'm, I'm, I'm... There's no, either you're Batman or you're not.
Starting point is 01:58:23 If you're having troubles taking over the team from a 40-year-old, something's wrong with you personally. I guarantee you, Luka's not going to have no issues shooting that motherfucker every time. No, but don't he respect LeBron? I'm saying, he respected LeBron that much. He'd be like, all right, huh. He became too friendly.
Starting point is 01:58:39 He was doing that in Pelicans. Drew Holiday was shooting all the shots, right? At the end of the game? Wasn't he the big shot maker back then? Was it? They had Eric Gordon, him. It was him, Rondo. No, it was AD.
Starting point is 01:59:01 No, he was the best player. But at the end of the games. It's hard to put a big in that situation. So now we got two people who is considered not playing. Mm. Right? If that's what everybody's complaining is about LeBron, and then we have AD, who's the guy that's gonna take the team over? That man.
Starting point is 01:59:20 There we go. Let's move to this side of the couch. Kenyon, do you feel like the Lakers are Luka's team now? No. It's still LeBron's team. Why do you feel that way? He's choosing evil today. No, I'm just saying it's not his team yet until the boy leaves.
Starting point is 01:59:42 Mm-hmm. Until LeBron leaves. Until LeBron leaves. It's not his team yet until the boy leaves. Until LeBron leaves? Until LeBron leaves, it's not his team. It's Luka's now. The man don't know how to defer. Until he showed me he know how to defer, I believe what I see with my own two eyes. Who do you have to defer to though? LeBron has to defer to Luka. Now, it's Luka's team, but who did he have
Starting point is 02:00:04 to defer to before Luka? You just asked if, it's Luca's team, but who did he have to the first team before Luca? You just asked if it's Luca's team. I'm not finna argue with you because these two niggas are arguing, bro. Like, we're not finna fucking do that.
Starting point is 02:00:12 I didn't say it was them. I don't want to do shit like this. Okay, we're not finna fucking argue. Motherfuckers! I don't want to do none of that shit.
Starting point is 02:00:19 That shit is crazy. You're going to hit me in the side of my head for saying the word. Yeah, it's not this man's team. If you grab me by my knee like that... I'm just saying, y'all think y'all opinion beats's not this man's team. If you grab me by my knee like that.
Starting point is 02:00:27 Y'all think y'all opinion be. Not this man's team until that man leaves. It's so crazy. If it was a different guy, yes, it would be Lucas' team right now when he suits up. But, no, it's not. This won't be until. And do you think. He's too dominant of a presence.
Starting point is 02:00:44 No, it's hard to's too dominant of a presence. You know, I don't... I don't know, it's hard to... Too dominant of a presence. I don't care. Still. Will Paul say they need to get off of LeBron? Raid him? I'm just saying, bro. No.
Starting point is 02:00:56 In order for it to be totally... It's just not. It ain't gonna work. He ain't gonna trade LeBron. Do you think LeBron, 40 years old, year 22, has reached a point in his career where he can say, all right, I've now got a guy who's gonna take the key? Yes, he has that.
Starting point is 02:01:09 Five-time first team, All-NBA selection? He has that, absolutely. Do you think he has the ability to do that? No. In his game right now, I don't think he... Until he showed me that he's gonna defer to Luka, and then I'll believe it, but... it's gonna be hard to change them stripes, man,
Starting point is 02:01:25 on that zebra, man. What did the defer look like? It looked like him sitting on the side waiting for the ball? Like there was in Dallas. In clutch times and in the games, Luka got the ball in his hands. And in the game, he's coming out, calling the plays for him at the end of the game.
Starting point is 02:01:42 He making the decisions. LeBron is the screener. But we've seen Bron do that before Yeah, I say we've seen Brian plan to the 48 Harry Was the Didn't defer to one two three quarters and Kyrie to go run for but he didn't defer though He still didn't defer that man. It's just what's just... What did Anthony Davis average? Oh, it was like 25. 25? Yeah. And what LeBron averaging? Like 23, 22.
Starting point is 02:02:11 Still ain't deferring just because the man getting more shots. Still... At the end of games, if he's getting off the ball and he's... Then I will say yes. LeBron's averaging 24-9 in eight rebounds. Let me ask you this. Do you think JJ is prepared to? Incorporate Luca as fast as they need him to know with LeBron there and all that
Starting point is 02:02:32 They tried this not been the first year coach not having no experience right now I'm saying you see what time but the adjustments they had to make absolutely all you gotta do is put them out there No, it ain't that simple Nick crazy It ain't Dallas how long did it take Dallas to get adjusted to him being at Dallas? So, to add KD to a situation that you already got stab... Hold on just a minute. To add KD to a situation you already got established, easy.
Starting point is 02:02:55 Yep. Easy plug and play. Facts. Don't need the ball. Efficient in his approach. Superstar. You already got a winning coach. You already got pieces in place that's easy to plug and miss. efficient in his approach. Superstar. You already got a winning coach.
Starting point is 02:03:08 You already got pieces in place that's easy to plug him in with that. Because the way the ball, the way they play. You remember what I said? The average 29 assists as a team when they was winning at their peak. That ball moving.
Starting point is 02:03:20 So everybody, that's not the case here. Thanks. That's not the case. Their number one guy, so everybody, that's not the case here. That's not the case. Their number one guy, Steph Curry, used to playing without the ball. The main, the number one guy in this situation
Starting point is 02:03:35 has the ball in his hand. Why do you think Chris Paul and James Harden didn't work? Why do you, I can, it just... That worked. The fuck did they you... That worked. That worked. The fuck did they win? That worked. They had us in game seven.
Starting point is 02:03:50 So now everything's about getting second fucking place once again. It worked. It did not work. He got hurt. They was up when he was winning, so it worked. If I got hurt, y'all up 3-2, I can't play the last two games, of course. But if he the player, he can say he won. What did they win?
Starting point is 02:04:08 They won... Nothing. Everything. Nothing. He won. He got a big-ass contract after that. So that's what it's... And it was number one.
Starting point is 02:04:20 Keep moving. So move the goalposts again. Nick, my leg ain't that strong. I just do what y'all do. Nick, my leg ain't that strong. I just do what y'all do. Nick, my leg ain't that strong. I just do what y'all do. Nick, my leg ain't that strong. I just do what y'all do. Nick, my leg ain't that strong. I just do what y'all do. Hey, my leg ain't that strong.
Starting point is 02:04:28 To say something don't work is like what Phoenix is doing. If I'm number one, that works, and I get hurt in the Western Conference final, that's nothing I could do. That's what I'm saying. Did they win? He got hurt. Did they win?
Starting point is 02:04:42 You're not answering my question. I'm number one, so yes. So, you're gonna answer the question when you won? When I played, we was number one. Did they win? You're not answering my question. I'm number one, so yes. So you're going to answer the question when you won. When I played, we was number one. Did they win? Yes, when I was number one, I played. Did the Rockets win the NBA championship with Chris Paul and James Harden? No. I played.
Starting point is 02:04:55 No. So they won the NBA championship? I must have been in a coma for that NBA season. No, no. I was a vegetable for that period of time. No. Oh, Lord. No, I was a vegetable for that period of time. No I gotta take this. They turn my mic off. Oh, yeah, I see is that call
Starting point is 02:05:18 All right, well you might be Definitely that call for sure. Yeah, it's that call. We can get... But we asked the chat, whose team is it? Lucas or LeBron? Lucas. Lucas. Luca. 1,000%.
Starting point is 02:05:35 55% said Lucas. It wasn't... He's the creator now. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. LeBron doesn't need to create for him how he plays the game. He is going to be LeBron James. He's going to be the guy who's creating and giving LeBron easier buckets. His pick and roll leaves LeBron with all the energy in the world.
Starting point is 02:06:01 So fast break, LeBron goes. Pick and roll, LeBron can go to the rim. Like, he's gonna be the guy. Like LeBron doing, making all the plays and getting frustrated, no, Luka can do all that. You can sit there in the corner, when I drive, you can slash, get the little easy dunks. It's gonna be a lot easier.
Starting point is 02:06:18 And we've seen LeBron come off the ball. Slash, cut, yeah, he's slash, cut, beat, beat, beat. Like, it's gonna be a lot easier. Cause he don't have to, beat, beat, beat. Like, it's going to be a lot easier. Because he don't have to. He don't have to do all of that the first three quarters. Man. Lucas, 25, let him do it. It's kind of like me when I'm playing in my adult leagues.
Starting point is 02:06:38 I need my main scorer to release a lot because I can't carry the team no more. You can't carry your adult league team. No, I can't carry the team no more. You can't carry your own league team? No, I can't carry the team no more, so I need a main scorer that can do it. He ain't going to be quite a corner boy. He's going to be like a corner slash to the basket. It's easier, you know, get it, drive, open lanes, aim pack. . Ah, no leg cut there.
Starting point is 02:07:07 So let's keep this thing moving. I ain't going to say nothing to you. So this Luka trade is something being discussed throughout the entire sports world. Yesterday, three-time Super Bowl champ Patrick Mahomes, a known Mavs fan, answered a question about the Luka trade at Super Bowl opening night. Let's take a listen. As a Dallas fan, it hurts me, but I'm happy for him that he's going to be able to go out there and be in L.A.
Starting point is 02:07:28 and get to try to achieve his dream of winning a championship. He did so much, not only for the basketball team, but for the city of Dallas. So I'll always be appreciative of those years. But I'm excited for the Mavericks moving forward and the guys that they brought in. And before I continue, I just want to say, you saw the NFL try to take over Christmas.
Starting point is 02:07:44 God bless Luka and the NBA for trying to take over Super Bowl week. Now, you got to answer Luka's question. This is supposed to be y'all week. I forgot there was a game Sunday. Right. Is this Sunday? Yes. See?
Starting point is 02:07:55 I forgot. Man, we did take over. Adam Silver needed to be an asshole and move the trade deadline to Super Bowl Sunday. Just to see. Just to see. Yeah. Unless you're going to trade LeBron James. I'm just kidding.
Starting point is 02:08:09 LeBron and motherfucking Giannis. And Wimby and Giannis. And Wimby and Giannis. Trade them all. You ain't competing with that date. Nah, I'm just kidding. Just throw it out there. These four are on the market.
Starting point is 02:08:18 Right now. That date. Order 66. But that's the perspective. We talked about Mahomes, what he said. That's the perspective of a Mavs fan who also just happens to be the best quarterback in the world. But he wasn't the only person reacting to the trade.
Starting point is 02:08:31 So Anthony Edwards was asked about the trade after the Wolves lost to the Kings last night. Here's what Ant-Man said. Yeah, so that's crazy. At 25, they traded probably the best scorer in the NBA at 25. He didn't know about it. So there's a lot more digging somebody got to do to find out why he got traded. Because you don't just trade him at 25.
Starting point is 02:08:53 He just went to the finals. You know what I'm saying? So I feel bad for Luka, man. I saw some on YouTube. They say he just bought a crib and everything in Dallas. So that sucks, man. That sucks. Does it inform, like, you at 23?
Starting point is 02:09:06 Everybody gets informed, yeah. I was going to say, like, when you score, how you see the league? I'm scared. Tim, if you're going to trade me, let me know, dog. When Luka got traded, anybody is able to get traded at that point. Don't be scared, man. Don't be scared. But even MSA, he's scared to get traded at that point. Don't be scared, man. Don't be scared. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 02:09:26 So even Amos said he's scared to get traded at 23. He ain't not scared, huh? Don't be scared. No, he's in small market, bro. Hey, one thing we know about Tim Connolly, he do his job. He'll be respectful about it, too. He'll pull up on you, let you know what's going on. I'm listening, too.
Starting point is 02:09:43 Like he did for Cat. Yeah, so he real about it. There was no text. So you, let you know what's going on. Like Tim, Tim. Yeah, so he real about it. There was no text. So therefore he's not afraid to do something. We know that. So I ain't saying he gonna move, Ant, but just know Tim is a businessman first and he runs his organization and he does his job very well. So we got Ant-Man saying, you know, he's scared, maybe in in jest again traded at 23 Along those same lines Knicks guard Josh Hart tweeted this
Starting point is 02:10:11 He says so who are the untouchables in the league? Well Josh are we appreciate your ass Better be happy motherfucker So let's ask the couch. Who do you believe is still untouchable as far as trade talks go? I only have one person, but y'all go ahead. It's two friends. I mean, are two best friends negotiating this, or is this just regular GMs? Wimby. Yannis. Shidme. I'll say Yannis. Wimby. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 02:10:45 Shit me. I'll say you, honest. Wimby off limits. For a trade, yeah. Let him hit that lesson. I mean, I'm not trying to let him go either. I ain't trying to let him go. Okay, that sounds good.
Starting point is 02:10:59 We just saying off limits. Like, we not trying to do that. Come with that Yankees bag. Yeah. That Dodgers bag. Shit, that. Come with that Yankees bag. Yeah. That Dodgers bag. That Mets bag. That's out of our control. I know black.
Starting point is 02:11:10 I know black. Everybody else can move around. Shout out, Wau Soto. Yeah. Yeah, whatever. One-legged threes in the corner, man. I say Joker. Untouchable?
Starting point is 02:11:21 Like, as in Denver trying to trade Joker right now behind his back? No, I don't see that. Yeah, he gonna come to L.A. Why you think they move AD? Shad, now that's the thing. Who's the only person he say he play with? They are buddies. That's been in the running for three years.
Starting point is 02:11:41 Denver on the road doing what right now? We see how much joy they have off the road. Denver doing what right now? We see how much joy they have. Denver doing what right now? We see how much joy they have together. You get off Joker, send LeBron somewhere, do a three-team trade with Denver. Denver and the Warriors. LeBron somewhere.
Starting point is 02:11:55 Denver and the Warriors. They want LeBron to get traded. Like, what's up with all this hate? That man ain't going nowhere. God, everybody hate LeBron. Nobody, you know, it's just, you know, time's up. I've been hearing nothing. God, everybody hate LeBron. Nobody? You know, time's up. I been hearing nothing.
Starting point is 02:12:07 Time's up. Time's up. Time's up. This is the reason they brung him here for LeBron. We seen this movie too many times. They get five. It's TGIF right now. Every Friday, we got the same episode.
Starting point is 02:12:22 What, winning? Next up on the next episode of Dragon Ball Z. Everybody does that. Who do you feel like is untouchable in the league right now or is anybody untouchable after we've seen this Luka trade? 25 years old, five straight first-team All-NBAs. We're asking questions for no reason. Like, why aren't we just looking at the fucking obvious? Two best friends is having discussions behind the scenes.
Starting point is 02:13:06 Two best friends. And there are other friends in the league, though. Two best friends are having discussions behind the... That, like, I don't... It's two best friends having a discussion about trading. At that point, resume don't matter. They're trying to do whatever makes those two happy. Absolutely. Right? I can't put no value on,
Starting point is 02:13:30 Jai, you're going to get traded. Like, we're looking at Zion. We're watching him come in and out, and they're not moving not an inch. So I can't sit there and say, who's unsafe? Because this trade was poison from the beginning. This is not like something happened,
Starting point is 02:13:49 and then they've been talking for two months. Mm-hmm. So the question is... Two months before he got injured. Yeah, that's... He having a conversation. Yeah, like he said, it started... He said about a month ago. He said about a month ago. If it got out, it would've been no trade.
Starting point is 02:14:04 Yeah, but I'm saying this is something that these two are having a conversation about Rob Palenka has dropped the ball in the summer, right? He hasn't figured out how to trade he missed the ball on it So his best friend is probably telling the man man. We have with his mother will be blah blah, right? These are I can't I can't say that Ant-Man is tradable. No. But wait. I can't.
Starting point is 02:14:27 What about other friends in the league? They just not the only two. But according to reports, there was another team who was presented with this. That's what I'm saying. According to reports, there was another team who was presented with this offer. What I'm getting at is I hear what you're saying, but let's just say around the league there are two two pairs of friends along GM, owner, whatever, that's having private conversations
Starting point is 02:14:48 that got Ant-Man thinking, shit, I'm kind of scared because what happened is Nico and Rob took a chance on a ripple effect. The ripple effect is all we need is one person to break the window.
Starting point is 02:15:04 We're going to start rioting. All we need is the window to go down. We don't know who broke it, but there's still whatever is in that motherfucker. That's all they needed was somebody to be the first. Oh, you traded away what? Oh, everybody can go. But why should they be afraid in the first place? The players?
Starting point is 02:15:22 Yeah. Because they don't got control no more. The player liberation age that just happened with LeBron doing what he did for the last 10, 11 years, that liberation for players, they trying to take that shit back. But if you get traded,
Starting point is 02:15:37 you get traded. Like, if I was Anthony Edwards and I got traded to the Lakers, I'd be... Would you feel good about getting traded to Utah Jazz? If they was winning, probably, but I'm saying... If they not.
Starting point is 02:15:52 But it's a business. Exactly. You going into a business being afraid, long as you do your part, I feel like you shouldn't have nothing to worry about. I agree. But what happens, you do your part and they ship your ass off to Utah and they last in the league. Do you stop playing high caliber basketball?
Starting point is 02:16:10 Do you stop trying to be an all-star? You can always pull a Jimmy Butler. Right? Yeah, but you can pull a Jimmy Butler. He still gonna get his money. Is he? We'll see. They saying what they did to Luka they should have did to Jimmy.
Starting point is 02:16:28 Yeah, they should have. That's more- They said Jimmy deserving more of that type of treatment of behind your back, just do it, not tell you. But they doing it- Because of the antics that was going on. Like Luka wasn't going back and forth with Jimmy. He ain't had no reason to riff, publicly anyway.
Starting point is 02:16:43 So they like, oh man, I mean shit. And that's what I'm saying. We're trying to figure, publicly, anyway. So they're like, oh, man, I mean, shit. And that's what I'm saying. We're trying to figure out why these two did what they did. Like, I... I don't, like... You're making everybody feel like if Conley... Conley's brother, is he still a general manager? Let me see. Tim Conley?
Starting point is 02:17:01 You got Tim Conley and you got, uh... The other one, yeah. Tim Conley is where? Tim Conley and you got... The other one, yeah. Tim Conley is where? He's with Tim. Okay, here we go. Is he with Denver Steel or not? This is like... I said my bad.
Starting point is 02:17:12 This is like right now, Denver doing a deal with Wolves, where Michael Porter Jr. and Russell Resbrook get traded for Ant-Man to go to Denver. I'm sorry, but y'all,
Starting point is 02:17:33 y'all both came from the same organization. You both was at the Wizards at the same time, right? So the deal y'all are making is not normal to everybody else. So I'm not going to say, oh my God,
Starting point is 02:17:43 they just traded it man To go win a championship Like it's like you're Y'all are the sneaky leaks right here This is some sneaky leak shit, but when we found out we found out it's sneaky shit We are now put on watch through the ripple effect Some sneaky shit going on. Maybe we should start being sneaky, too. But, like, the man... True? Absolutely.
Starting point is 02:18:09 We should just keep our shit private. Well, more people should do business that way. The way that they just did it, it was clean. Like they be doing it. What do I hate? What do I hate? What do you hate, Ken? Reports.
Starting point is 02:18:20 Don't report me shit, right? Reportedly, you hate allegedly. Yeah, like, fuck all that shit. Like, tell me when the shit about to go. It happened before me then. Don't give me, so keep it between y'all two. Like the man said, it started over a joke basically. Would you ever? And they're like, would you?
Starting point is 02:18:38 And you leave it there, right? And now you go home, you thinking like, damn, what would this look like? Wait, are they trying to kid with me? No, no, no, not even that. Both sides. Both sides, right? It just start as us sitting around just like this.
Starting point is 02:18:51 We talk like, shit, would you? And you be like, man, shit, oh, man, that, that, that, that. Then your mind start going when you get home like, shit, could I actually, what would this look like? How would this? And then you, then you presented somebody else, right? And they like, nigga, you own it. And then you presented somebody else.
Starting point is 02:19:11 They like, shit, if it was me. I might. Right, that's all. I might. Listen, that question. I might. All it takes is shit. That's all it takes is I might.
Starting point is 02:19:18 Hey, shit, if it was me, dog. The Lakers didn't trade a climbing brand for Paul Gasol. Why? That's what I'm saying. It's not the first thing. Who was on the other side who had... Jerry West. That was a Jerry West.
Starting point is 02:19:32 What I'm saying is when we... Jerry West and the Lakers did a deal. That was a friend thing. That's what he said. He said it's all precious. I'm not questioning this shit. But more people should do it that way. I already know this is some bullshit.
Starting point is 02:19:48 You know what I mean? There's friends and friends and friends. We're all making deals. So it's just another version of nepotism, man. Yep. But nobody wants to see it. More of a business version. It's a business version of nepotism.
Starting point is 02:20:02 It's called the good old boys club. This is the bad part. Instead of just saying, God damn it, look, this worked out for both of us. You want to pretend a man, we're 290. He eat all the time.
Starting point is 02:20:13 Why are you throwing dirt on his name? Because you thought something is better. Just say, hey, we thought this was a better fit for us. We don't think, we already got Kyrie. It's kind of like, whatever.
Starting point is 02:20:25 Just do it. Don's kind of like whatever. Just do it. Don't try to pull an over. But to your point, if you're Nico Harrison, you make that deal, which you may not think is a bad trade, you see Mavs fans' reaction. We have to tell them. We have to tell them something good. We have to tell them something great. It's the reason why you trade them.
Starting point is 02:20:40 It's the reason for sure. No, no, no. Do we tell them the truth? Now, what you're saying is you have to tell these fans something. No, you don't. You don't have to do anything, but... Now, why should the fans actually trust your words? And so that's...
Starting point is 02:20:55 You told us he was 270. This motherfucker got off that plane looking all at 230. Because you know... You lie! You lie, right? One man's trash. Another man's trash. Another man's trash, right?
Starting point is 02:21:08 So that's just like a relationship, right? You break up with a chick and you listen to the ex about her, right? Why would I listen to you about her or him, right? Why would I? Because I was there. Huh? Because I was there.
Starting point is 02:21:21 But that's just your dealings with that person. I know. Right? My personality and my whatever might fit well with that person. No, right my personality and my whatever might fit Well with that person y'all fucking didn't get along y'all would compatible in this way Well, that ain't got shit to do with me So don't fucking call me trying to give me no dirt cuz you didn't do your motherfucking job to keep this motherfucker happy But you can't look back at me because I Because she was stealing She was stealing from you
Starting point is 02:21:47 Because she didn't fuck with you But she's a thief But she's a thief You don't want to hear that she stole from you Don't that video speak violence though The beer I've never seen that Coming from a former player
Starting point is 02:22:02 If it was somebody that didn't play Yes, okay not coming from a former player man all that's my friend man. What the fuck are you doing? Do get the fuck back you see how I look Your former player mind you don't do that, but you I'm gonna be a drinker beer after the game before man You don't back the fuck up, dude like if it's like I said if GM somebody never played the game, was there, like, no, I don't think you need to be doing it.
Starting point is 02:22:31 What if we know he got a drinking problem already? Ain't that the GM? After the game? They would have never had it in there. Exactly. They would have never had it in there. So that's the thing. I'm thinking Mike Finley is like this.
Starting point is 02:22:40 Like, we know we're not doing this no more. We're not doing this. But if he got a drinking problem, they're not going to have it in the locker room no way because he's a superstar. But, Ken, if they may not have it in the locker room, it don't matter. They might not make it readily available. If he got a drinking problem,
Starting point is 02:22:52 his dad ain't going to give him a fucking beer. I understand, but what I'm saying is... No. What were they celebrating? Your dad might think, you nigga. They were going to the... Oh, my God.
Starting point is 02:23:00 So, they're going to the finals. Was there not champagne and beer? That's what I'm saying. You don't take that from him at that moment. How do we know why he took it? Has he explained it? We're assuming. That's why I said, does that speak value?
Starting point is 02:23:13 No, it don't speak value. How does that speak value? I've never seen nobody take something from somebody in a celebration. What if he just wanted the motherfucking drink for himself? That's cool. What if the Phillies got alcoholic? What if the Phillies got alcoholic? If he was like, let me get that. If he was like, let me get that.
Starting point is 02:23:26 If he was like, let me get that and drunk. We know exactly why he did it. He did it because it's Luka. It's our best player. Hey, listen, not you. Not you. Not you. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 02:23:39 How Luka looks after. Someone has to ask Michael Finley why he did it. Absolutely. I agree. Because I'm pretty sure we've watched Clay over the years. After games, drink Bud Light, drinking during a press conference. Clay not Luca. I mean, come on. We're trying to protect the assets.
Starting point is 02:23:58 And Luca's not always. You don't hear Clay not in shape. You don't ever hear that. But we're not getting it. Like, we're using, you're trying to use this as a re, I don't give a fuck why he averaged 33 for the season. If he wants to have 10 beers. Gil, are you going to let Embiid continue to come in the locker room
Starting point is 02:24:23 eating burgers and straight ribs? Are you going to continue to letid continue to come in the locker room eating burgers? Somebody buy the ketchup straight real quick. Are you going to continue to let Embiid come in the locker room with McDonald's and all this shit? Are you going to correct it? Somebody buy the ketchup straight real quick. No, I hear you, yes, but they ain't corrected it yet, though, so that ain't going to work. So if he was showing up there motherfucking drinking like Roy Tarpley, goddamn issue. Did he play like Roy Tarpley? That's not a bad story.
Starting point is 02:24:43 Is he playing like Roy Tarpley? No. No, okay. But Roy Tarpley? That's not a bad story. Is he playing like Roy Tarpley? No, no, okay You tell me all you about your weight and you might and you drinking this beer I'm gonna come up. Starting point is 02:25:42 We don't know why. It speaks volumes. I don't know what the fuck you're talking about. It speaks volumes. Everybody don't know what the fuck you're talking about. It speaks volumes. Everybody at once. You can get loud and speak volumes. He's an adult.
Starting point is 02:25:49 He's an adult. He's an adult. That never happened to nobody else. We don't know what happened. It never happened to nobody else. You're making it up. We don't know why. It never happened to nobody else.

Starting point is 02:26:31 Did they say he was an alcoholic? Give me no gun. No, right there. Did they say he's an alcoholic? They didn't say he has a drinking problem. It's a beer. So what you're saying is meaningless. He's out of shape.
Starting point is 02:26:39 He's out of shape. He's overweight. So these things, he drinking beer is accumulating his weight shit. It ain't nothing but sugar. It ain't nothing but sugar and shit. Beer is the worst thing. No, y'all drinking beers and accumulating his weight shit. It ain't nothing but sugar. It ain't nothing but sugar and shit. No, y'all are just making no narrative on this dude.
Starting point is 02:26:49 Like, we don't know why. Let this man, let Finley answer the question, so then we can know what he did it for. No. You're just assuming. No, Hennessy is worse than that beer, Nick. Facts. You crazy as hell.
Starting point is 02:27:04 Look at that facts, and look at this. A gun is worse than everything. Stupid motherfucker. Goddamn. You gotta throw me under the bus. Like goddamn. Nigga want me to throw you under the bus? Goddamn, nigga.

Starting point is 02:27:40 Let's go. You ain't doing nothing. Just like I ain't taking that flask off them hips. Nigga, I was with you. Where the flask at? Nigga, you did this, and you shot me. Holy snap rock. Chitty, chitty, bang, bang.

Starting point is 02:29:35 Shut the fuck up. Hey, no, no, no. Hey, no, no. Hey, no, no. We got OG Walker. We got OG Walker. Hey, low key, low key. I can't breathe.
Starting point is 02:29:43 Low key. Y'all know on trade deadline, this is, low key. I can't breathe. Low key. Y'all know on trade deadline, this is how everybody be. What y'all think, because, you know, it's KJ right now. So this is how it looks in the locker room. Everybody moving. On the bus or in the, everybody sitting in the locker room. By getting that call. They can get real sick.
Starting point is 02:29:58 What are they saying? They ain't making nothing? Nope. You sure? I'm stuck here? Okay. Shit. Shit.
Starting point is 02:30:06 They did what? Five in the morning. As a reminder, we will be in the net. No, you sure I'm stuck here. Okay They did what Bob and one as a reminder we will be As a reminder we'll be in the arena on Thursday trade deadline special covering all the moves as you wanted me leave it the trade deadline And when it comes I'm sorry about that. I know you Know you I know you don't receive them. I know you don't respect me. You don't respect me, but... No, no, I respect you. What do you mean respect? Don't do that. Direct deposit hit.
Starting point is 02:30:30 I don't say shit when you starting to show off. I don't say shit. You want to, though. No, no, no, no. Okay. Trade deadline. I'ma be like that on Thursday, see if I'm getting moved. Now, during the trade deadline, right, you know I'm tra... They know who they trading.
Starting point is 02:30:44 Yeah. Why are you allowing him to play in a game where Muff will get pulled out? If you trade their line, right, you know I'm trade... They know who they trading. Why are you allowing him to play in a game where motherfuckers get pulled out? Or motherfuckers going to a city, he find out as soon as he land. Man. Yeah, you just got... They did a stack five. He landed, bam, and found out. That's back when they didn't have the good Wi-Fi for the phone You're on the flight you know one of the Clippers when the Wizards traded me to the Clippers
Starting point is 02:31:14 With the New Orleans you swing on somebody what what had you what it's told us on the bus They said you ain't gonna play come because you might be traded to... Oh, who else did they say? JaVale, too, because JaVale went to Denver. You got traded to Denver? Oh, shit. It was a three-team trade? The Lakers or the Clippers. They asked you that? No, no, they... My agent told me that's what they... So, let's get to Mosey fans, because we all got stuff to do.
Starting point is 02:31:40 How did it go with you? I'm gonna be working the phones tonight. You knew I was gone. Oh, you kept coming in every other day. I'm gone. I'm gone, how did it go with you? I'm going to be working the phones tonight. You knew I was gone. You kept coming in every other day. I'm gone. I'm gone, baby. I'm gone, baby. That motherfucker said, stay in the house.
Starting point is 02:31:51 I'm gone, baby. And Sean. He dialed a violent call. That's telling them, get this nigga out of here. I'm over here like, yo, what's the chance of me getting traded? He said, man, about 60%. I said, say less. Hey, Nick, I'm out.
Starting point is 02:32:04 You all right? Grab a pair of shoes. Fuck the clothes. Fuck the house. Fuck the family. 60% I said say less. Hey Nick. I'm out. All right grab a pair of shoes Fuck the clothes for the house for the family. Well, I took my pair of shoes that I can hope in Got my own ticket to the airport and landed. I'm in I'm in Orlando in The players the the practice facility before the trade even happened at this this point, you've got to trade me. I ain't going back, guy. Oh, shit. Shit, I don't give a fuck what they're talking about.
Starting point is 02:32:28 I'm not going back. Crazy. Is that the house? Oh, it's gone. So, boo, get back to it. 60%? Mostly fans. Oh, that's for real?
Starting point is 02:32:36 Yeah, yes. A direct deposit here, so feel free. Do not appreciate me. Trade deadline coming soon. Lakers? Is that...? We... Okay. Now the grown folk bit me. Do not appreciate me trade deadline coming soon. Lakers is it is that
Starting point is 02:32:50 Okay, now the grown folk bit me right now, sorry Hurry I get this shit over let's go. All right. So first question from a underdog user wizard nader That should not be tickling your bed Wizard a wizard fan or a fan of passing drug tests, either one are good in my book. Can you come up with a crazier trade than AD Luka? Hell yeah. Hell yeah. Hell yeah.
Starting point is 02:33:15 Oh, in the past, or just come up with? Come up with? Oh, he did not specify. I was thinking that if you could come up with a crazier trade in this current NBA right now, that has not happened. Mm-hmm That's easy Yeah, Giannis some really good basketball players out here Giannis or Yoke it for somebody. Well, let's talk about this
Starting point is 02:33:39 What did you say what did y'all say yesterday that he would love to see? It was forming around him. Let me just give context. It was a little sarcastic in what he was saying. I'm tired of that sarcastic shit with him, because I need to keep down. But you do that shit all the time, Giannis. It was on his own situation it was sarcasm. But he was really talking about,
Starting point is 02:33:57 you need to be put in a big city. So if we think about from that point, where would motherfuckers go based on cities? Giannis. Like if Giannis gets traded for like Cat. I was thinking that too, but. Cat and Horst. Yoke is for Bam.
Starting point is 02:34:15 Cat and Horst. You'd be like. Yoke is for Bam. You'd be like, wait, what? Yoke is for Bam. Three-team trade involved. I was thinking Giannis. Involved Steph, send Steph to Denver. Huh? Three-team deal, send Steph to Denver, send Jamal Murray somewhere.
Starting point is 02:34:29 Jimmy Butler go to. A mellow ball. Throw a mellow Steph deal in there. You have. Throw that a mellow. With the Denver shit. You have talked about Steph and mellow. I like Steph and Nikola together.
Starting point is 02:34:44 I really like that. In Denver or in the Warriors? together. Mm. Mm. I really like that team. And Denver and the Warriors. Wherever. Warriors. Warriors. Think about your cat. Think about your cat. I'm thinking about Warriors for Giannis. I mean, not for Jokic. The style of play?
Starting point is 02:34:57 No, just the city. Ah. Mm. The big city? Big market now? What about like Powell and... Who? Powell and the center for your Joker Was considered how to buy to play with who? Can go to play
Starting point is 02:35:16 Zoo our cinders You don't think James Harden and Joker. No, wait wait Joker comes here and they just gave up a Zubac and Powell. Yeah No, awesome.. Yeah You get arrested That'll be when Adam Silver step in like David Stern like y'all Listen I know that deal that deal was going on. David Stern was like this. Just like this last deal that just happened. Mark Cuban was like, wait, hold the fuck on. We just won the championship.
Starting point is 02:35:53 We trying to go back to back. Right? We trying to go back to back. I don't know what's going on over here, but I don't like it. Yo, David. Rittnigga, he was like, uh, it's our turn. Dave, it's our turn, Dave, now. You like the Clippers? All right. Rittnigga, go to the Clippers. It's still turn, Dave. It's our turn, Dave, now. You like the Clippers? All right. Rittnig, go to the Clippers.
Starting point is 02:36:07 It's still L.A. It's still L.A. Mark Cuban ain't seen this shit. Dwight, go to the Lakers. Nash, go to the Lakers. Mark Cuban don't give a fuck about that, but that's who Rittnig did, the guy who won the... It was, like, I don't...
Starting point is 02:36:22 I personally don't want him to have that when I'm trying to go back to back you got Spurs like a spur a pop y'all not y'all not arguing about this shit ready And then Danny just came out and said Think about the two teams that was really arguing it was It's San Antonio and Dallas at that time. But think about Danny Ainge. You got some big fucking... Is Boston the other team they reached out to? Did Danny Ainge give it up?
Starting point is 02:36:49 Hell no. Did Danny Ainge give it up? There's only one other player. Let's be honest. He said, how would he help the deal? How would Danny Ainge help the deal
Starting point is 02:36:58 if it didn't include Boston? We know Nico. Who is the other team? It's got to be Boston, bro. Because if he's going to be Boston, bro. Oh. Mm. Because if he's going to be quiet, he's going with someone he chose. But what would be the point of him saying, I helped them get Luka?
Starting point is 02:37:14 But Ainge didn't know until, I think, 30 minutes before the trade. He's a trade fiend. Right. So he saw some free... Oh, you got some trades? Y'all got some picks? How did I help y'all? I didn't know I was helping y'all get Luke the hat.
Starting point is 02:37:25 But you got pics, and I'm a fan. No, no, no. You know what city it was. Yeah. New York? Mm-hmm. Yep. I already got all the info. Yeah, yeah. I've been trying to interweave my own, you know. That's why I respect your shot.
Starting point is 02:37:40 So last question for the couch before we move on. You got to think about his relationship. Who is his personal relationship? So last question from underdog user Easy Money Griper. Will the Lakers have a better record from now until the end of the season than the Mavs?
Starting point is 02:37:57 Will the Lakers have a better record from this point to the end of the season than the Mavs? I don't think so. They don't got no defense. I don't think so. They don't got no defense? I don't think so. It depends on if they make another move before tomorrow.
Starting point is 02:38:08 Okay, well, it is not Thursday yet, can't you? We still have it. Before Thursday? Luke can't shape the average 50? Yeah, I think so. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know because we don't know how long he's going to be before he comes back.
Starting point is 02:38:19 They're saying game to game. So, I mean, he hasn't played in a month and a half. I really don't know. There's been talks that he's trying to get back right, get on the court. They're saying five to game. So, I mean, he hasn't played in a month and a half. I really don't know. There's been talks that he's trying to get back right, get on the court. They're saying
Starting point is 02:38:28 five on five soon. He just did it to New York without AD. I don't know. True. Fair point. My only concern with Dallas, like I do like Dallas.
Starting point is 02:38:37 The only problem is Kyrie. Which Kyrie is it? The Kyrie who plays free or the Kyrie who thinks he needs to get... Be a facilitator? Yeah. That's the only...
Starting point is 02:38:57 We've seen Kyrie in halves. That was young, immature Kyrie. Yeah, that's why I said that. that's the only thing I'm concerned about. His grace now, he's reached a point where now he know when to turn it on, turn it off. He's turning it off and on with Luka because he had to defer. Now it's like, all right, this is the first time I think Kyrie's in a position he's always wanted to be in. My team, I could be traditional point guard and do my thing with a big. And I have a team that I could say
Starting point is 02:39:26 I'm gonna lead this team to they just rated for Kayla Martin to as well Came down the wire today. Oh, yeah, Clinton Grimes for like they put in pieces around Grimes You know, oh Grimes left right at Grimes the second room. So it's Christy Christy PJ Washington green Clay Caleb Christy, PJ Washington, Green, Clay, Caleb, Kyrie, Hardy. That's a good lineup. It's a backup point, though. Hardy. Hardy's the point?
Starting point is 02:39:55 Kyrie, Clay, Caleb, PJ, Caleb. Lively, Gafford. Are they going to go bigger or? I think so. I'll go PJ and Caleb. Are you going to go Lively and Anthony Davis? They're saying Gafford at the five. Oh, Gafford and.
Starting point is 02:40:08 AD at the four. Oh, that's my argument earlier this year when I was saying they were too small. Yeah, yeah. Last year you were saying they played too small for P.J. to be the guy. Shit. They got better defensively. They got better at the rim, protecting the rim.
Starting point is 02:40:22 Yeah, so Lively should be out. And they have a post option now. They have a post-corner option. Yeah, which they did, because neither one of them dudes can score. Couldn't throw it to him down there. He's still a live threat, and he can score on the block. Anthony Davis is still a live threat, and he can score on the block. He could pass from the pinch post.
Starting point is 02:40:34 He could pass from the. Lively's out a couple months, excuse me. But damn, him and Gafford at the 4-5. P.J. Washington's still a stretcher. And you can play him at the 5, P.J. at the 4. Lively could potentially come back with round playoffs. Lively, P.J. Washington. P.J. Washington's still a stretcher. And you can play him at the 5, P.J. at the 4. Live they can potentially come back with round playoffs. Live, yeah. So when you need a different lineup, you can play A.D. at the 5 still.
Starting point is 02:40:52 You can play P.J. at the 4. And you got Klay out there running around. You can play really big. Yeah. With P.J. at the 3 sometimes. Yeah, that's all. Are they going to start with that? Are they going to start with? So they said projected lineup.
Starting point is 02:41:02 What was the projected lineup? Gafford, Davis, Washington, Klay Thompson, and then Kyrie. That's why I said Dallas is number one. I said Dallas, they got a bench. That's a tough lineup. That's tough. I like it. Where Christy coming off the bench?
Starting point is 02:41:16 Spacing, slashing. Christy coming off the bench? Then they're going to be buried on the bench. We'll see. Christy. Lime? No, no, no. Max Christy. No, no, no. Max Christie.
Starting point is 02:41:25 No, no, no. Max Christie is going to be coming off for Washington. Hardy. Hardy. Hardy's playing the one. They got Caleb Martin. They got Caleb Martin. Two.
Starting point is 02:41:33 Caleb at the two. I think Caleb Martin plays over Christie. Yeah. Caleb Martin plays over Christie. Yeah, he got Christie's ass back. And then you got Hardy over there. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:41:41 They believe in him. He might get buried. He might bury him. Yeah, they believe. No, they believe in him. It remains to be seen. No, Max is going to get buried. He's going to get buried. What we do know is that we have Luka Doncic on the way. I like that.
Starting point is 02:41:52 I like that. That's going to be cool. So we got All-Star Weekend next weekend. Gills Arena will be in the Bay. Be on the lookout for more information. We'll be taping shows out there. We got a bunch of special guests coming through. Got the venue locked up.
Starting point is 02:42:04 Next weekend? We were doing shows Thursday there. We got a bunch of special guests coming through. Got the venue locked up. It's next weekend? Starting point is 02:42:23 Definitely my ear hurt. Shut up. Let him talk. He said, nigga, you grabbed my knee so hard. I want to tase this man so bad. I want to hit this nigga with the tase. The way he went today was, look, you even scared the fucking king. I never seen king like, man.
Starting point is 02:42:38 I got to get the fuck out of here. Krista, can you hit my tase? Krista, retrieve the timer. When you jumped, you said, I will just invent another episode of Kill the Reader. Presenting my underdog. Well, we'll see y'all tomorrow.
