And we also got to see Luka doing work, 20 in the first quarter, but also clowning Timberwolves fans.

Also had two triple doubles in that series. So, y'all watch the game. What's your biggest takeaways from the Western Conference Finals? Went exactly like I thought it was going to go. You did predict? I thought, yeah. Exactly how I thought it was going to go. You got two really, really good basketball players

surrounded by some more hungry basketball players. And I guess I'll just keep reverence to J.K. as a mad scientist. And you got a mad scientist over there as a head coach with a good staff. Great staff. Like good basketball people that's played and been in situations and people who he's been around for years that he trusts. So it makes for good. It's a nice recipe for success, you know, and you got to determine Kyrie Irving. And the clear think of Kyrie Irving is dangerous. So good luck, Boston.

Kane, why were you so confident in this Mavs squad heading into the Western Conference Finals? A lot of people thought the Wolves would put up a better fight than what they did. A lot of people thought the Wolves were going to win. It's just how it looked to me. Like games one and two, for them to win on their home floor, it was close, but it was just how it looked. Like I said, I've had a lot of playoff experience and I've played deep into the playoffs and When you can watch film you can watch it on tape and it looks like no matter the end score It still look dominating performance to me, right?

It just certain areas was glaring to me how Dallas played them and then I started thinking about it further like how I broke it down like Anthony Elvis is their only playmaker. If they playing him a certain way and limited his drive to the basket and downhill situations, the rest of them guys, and putting two on him at times, the rest of them guys couldn't really do nothing if they not just standing and catching the shoot. Nas Reed is good with the ball in his hand and stuff like that on the block and can make plays. But overall, I just thought they didn't have – Minnesota didn't have enough to beat them. And when they come down to the last four minutes of the game, you got one guy.

And he's doing so much in so many other areas. Them other two, they just going to take turns. They just going to pick it. So I just felt that Minnesota didn't have enough to beat them. So I thought the blowout game, like I said, was going to be game four. Like I really thought it was going to be game four. And it didn't. Yeah.

But the blowout game and the next one, but I thought it was just, once you learn how to beat somebody in the series, it's only going to, one of them games is going to get out of control, and I thought it was going to be game four. It seems like the Mavs were mad that they had to go back to Minnesota. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, yeah. They knew they got, yeah, absolutely. And that's just what it is, man.

It just looked like a dominated performance from game one on, and even though the games were close, in my opinion, they weren't close. I feel like it could have really went either way, because Minnesota was playing well up until the last two, three minutes for me.

But you could tell that Jason Kidd and the coaching staff tapped into guys like Derrick Jones Jr. You've got to be a player or coach to get that out of players like P.J. Washington. Give them confidence to go out there and hit shots. Because when you think about it, all you think about is Luka and Kyrie. And to this playoffs now, you see PJ. I don't know who the other guy is. The rookie from the big center with a girl. It was like Little Live City.

They was just throwing lives. It was crazy. And I feel like the team was built to try to beat Denver, but now they got a This is changed now, I think they got to do something for Dallas next year Yeah, I think overall though the Western Conference like the future of it is is is great It's in good. Yeah, like Dallas this year, you know, we know Denver gonna come back next year, Minnesota OKC's gonna come back you got second. I mean it's just stacked so either it can go either way next year to again just know how things are lined up and where the

pieces fit but it was like the Western Conference is gonna be it's in good hands for the next couple here one foul away from going game six to pick back on what you just said like having the coach give you that confidence, right?
