Starting point is 00:02:14 95? I think now we were number one at some point recently. Random. Random? Randomly? Okay. How long were y'all number one? Hour. Hour and a half. Do y'all number one? Hour. Hour and a half. Did y'all play that evening?
Starting point is 00:02:30 Took that thing on the chin that evening? Wait, we beat y'all when y'all were number one, right? No. No. We only lost to like Oregon. Yeah. When you had 32? Yeah, we wasn't number one then.
Starting point is 00:02:42 They were number one. Pac-12 tournament then. They were number one. No, but we got y'all in the Pac-12 tournament then. We were not. Pac-12, I don't know nothing about Pac-12. Pac-10, whatever. Before, before. The Pac-10 plus two. Now just the Pac-2.
Starting point is 00:02:53 The Pac-10. Well, we spent a lot of time at number one in my four years. Yeah. So I don't know what the fuck y'all talking about. There's a lot of weeks at number one. All four years. I came in, we was number one in the country. Huh?
Starting point is 00:03:07 This is Gil's Arena presented by Underdog Fantasy. I should have gone. As always, we got the legend Gilbert Arenas here with us. What it do. We got Kenya Martin with us back on the couch. Okay. Proud to be a Cowboys fan again. Always, dog.
Starting point is 00:03:20 Really? I'm just not a delusional Cowboys fan. I'm not one of them who every fucking preseason, oh, we're in the Super Bowl this year. No, I'm game by game. I got to listen. We watch, and they do well. Hey, if they don't, hey, it's okay.
Starting point is 00:03:37 And I know we all doing better than the Florida State football team right now. Moment of silence. 13-0, ran the table. That's a boy. No college football player. I'll free you. Uh- be who can't we looking around like yeah we know okay we're gonna talk about that florida you hear me knocking let him in let him in he got a steve music on he ready you like y'all lock the door? Oh, wait. Okay. There we go.
Starting point is 00:04:08 We got a special guest making his debut in the arena. High school player of the year out of Simon Graps in Philly. Went on to be the fourth overall pick in a 95 draft out of North Carolina. His 16th season, he was a four-time NBA All-Star. 2004 NBA champion with the Pistons here we go damn that champion Rasheed Wallace welcome to gills arena they mess the smoke up what do gentlemen gentlemen how Gentlemen, how is ya? How is ya?
Starting point is 00:04:46 What's up, baby? We doing better now. We gonna have a good day. Hey, what's in the backpack? Hey, hey, hey. Any time I was in the arena. Fun thing. Is that fun?
Starting point is 00:04:54 What's good, gents? What's good, shit? How you doing, brother? Man, blessed, blessed. Thank you for inviting me, man. Thank you for inviting me, man. Definitely looking forward to it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:02 So you been in the Underdog family for a while now? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah inviting me, man. Thank you for inviting me, man. Definitely looking forward to it. So you've been in the Underdog family a minute. We've been trying to make this happen for a long time. Finally got it together, so it's a momentous day here at Gil's Arena.
Starting point is 00:05:16 Yes, sir. For sure. You're a brave man wearing that hat today, though. Why? Huh? Huh? Who? What you mean?
Starting point is 00:05:22 What happened? What you mean? Yeah, we lost. Hey, guess what? Didn't Mike Tyson get punched in the face before? But Green Huh? Who? What you mean? What happened? What you mean? Then. Yeah, we lost.
Starting point is 00:05:29 Oh. Hey, guess what? Didn't Mike Tyson get punched in the face before? But Green Beto? Didn't Mike Tyson get punched in the face before? But Green Beto? By a dude you never even heard of on some of the clips we see. Mike Tyson got punched in the face before, right?
Starting point is 00:05:37 But Green Beto? But what happened? At the end of the fight, Mike Tyson was like this, right? Uh-uh. But this ain't Green Beto. Hey, it's okay. It happens. We lost games last year too.
Starting point is 00:05:46 Wait, you see what it say on there? What happened? It's on one of these. Hat don't lie. That's all I got to say. You know, y'all got Whack Prescott and everything. It's all good.
Starting point is 00:06:03 But I will say, I got to give y'all credit, though. He is leading, I think, in passing and touchdown. It's a game-by-game situation. Yeah, I give y'all credit, though. I got to call it spade to spade when it happens. Game-by-game situation, you know what I'm saying? But, I mean, you talking about me brave wearing a hat. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:21 Oh, come on. You know what we've been doing. You know I don't waver, bro. Every year, y'all winning it, huh? Not by... Listen, we just had this conversation. I'm not a delusional Cowboys fan. Okay, okay. For real. I'm a...
Starting point is 00:06:32 Like, I... Come on now. We ain't won shit since 95. So, okay, so you'll talk shit about your team? Absolutely. All the time. Okay, all right. That's all I want to know. That's all. Oh, yes, yes. To Cowboys fans. So how long you been a Cowgirls fan? Since conception. Since I remember watching football.
Starting point is 00:06:47 First team I watched. I'm not one of those guys who's not from Dallas. I'm from Dallas. I got you. I'm not. Well, I'm not from Kansas City. You just picked a team.
Starting point is 00:07:00 No one is. I'm not from Kansas City. So you just spun in and joined them. Nah, nah. Sum it up quick. Everybody in the family is an Eagles fan. Grew up, Sunday morning programs used to come on. My mom switched at, you know, about 12, 12, 15, the pregame shows.
Starting point is 00:07:19 I didn't like it. So when my mom's friends used to come over or my aunts and uncle you know they used to play cards or whatever in her room because she had the only tv in her room so all right i heard them cheering for the eagles and everything like oh yeah that's that just back when they had harold carmichael wilbur montgomery uh ron jaworski you know i remember that that main crew from right there right so i'm like all right, I don't want to watch this. It's too cold to go outside to play with the homies. So I'm going to cheer for everybody else.
Starting point is 00:07:51 That's a bad-ass kid. That's a bad-ass kid. That's what that is. So, you know, I like individuals. I even like individuals on the Eagles team. So, you know, but once Joe Montana got traded to Kansas City, I liked Joe Montana. And Frisco, I wasn't a Niners fan now. Yeah, fair.
Starting point is 00:08:11 I liked him, you know, Jerry Rice, Dwight Clark, that whole crew. Yeah. But I wasn't a Niners fan, so nobody I knew in Philly was a Chiefs fan in 92. And that's when I became a KC fan and been rocking with him ever since Chris Nikoye. I took my loan Parade affiliate the Chiefs won the Super Bowl did that parade happen? No, no I couldn't get enough support Like a weirdo just doing it myself just you know walking down the street like this or whatever So no, I didn't happen.
Starting point is 00:08:46 It didn't happen. Well, Sheed, we're excited to have you on the show. We see the Black Forces already, so we're expecting that. We already know. But here's what we got cooking in the arena today. So, LeBron and E-Man and Doca got into a heated exchange during the Rockets-Lakers game. Warriors have blown multiple 20-point leads in the last week. When should they hit the panic button?

Starting point is 00:11:02 Right or left Right. I ain't touch nothing on my left. My dad said, if I can't make them all on my right, don't even think about the left. All right. You pick. Yeah, I'm just asking. You can go either way. Absolutely. Right or left.
Starting point is 00:11:15 Y'all didn't know that? Y'all didn't know that? I had to guard it. No, he shoot that thing. He said, I had to guard it. He wasn't that disrespectful, man. No, no, not in the regular season game. No, I didn't play.
Starting point is 00:11:27 I didn't shoot a left-handed jump shot in the regular season game. In the preseason, he did. In the preseason, you know, when you're playing in them small cities and stuff, like the fans like to see the oohs and aahs, like, all right, you know, I'd do it then, but no, not money time, no sir. And you can't tell it looked the exact same. I know. The practice looked the same. Oh, no, it looked the same. No, it doesn't. The shadow box part
Starting point is 00:11:50 looked the same. Okay. No, he makes multiple in a row each hand. Like, that shit is impressive. Can you talk about him doing the game would be disrespectful? So speaking of disrespect, let's start the show with one of the disrespectful moments in the modern history of hoops. Damn. So we got this video. We sent it in the group chat. During the overtime of the league moments in the modern history of hoops. So we got this video. We sent it in the group chat.
Starting point is 00:12:06 During an overtime league game between the Cold Hearts and Real Wild Energy, Cold Hearts big man and Missouri commit Peyton Marshall blocked the shot, proceeded to throw the ball at the dude after he fell out of bounds. The man plays for the Cold Hearts. What do you expect? Hey, that was the Cold Heart right there. I love it, though. Who in the chat called him dumb?
Starting point is 00:12:27 Me. Why? Why? Fucking fast break. He gave me his ball back. No. We got the ball. Fast break.
Starting point is 00:12:35 We got the ball. Fast break. He caught the ball out of them. I know, but I'm just saying it's a full five. I'm right there. Let's go. That's an easy point. That's my man on five. I'm right there. Let's go. That's an easy point. That's my man on the floor.
Starting point is 00:12:48 Of course, you've been self. That's what I said. That's my man on the floor. I'm coming up. You got to get to know this guy. He's been self. He want the ball, so he got the ball back, though. He trying to pull up on the break.
Starting point is 00:12:59 No, we get the ball. But now he going to play defense. He can't play defense on the floor. He out of bounds. it to me big fella Let's go that might be a fast break three Would it would it make it even worse if you pulled it up for three in his face anyway after he got up? Not as bad insult to injury. It's just went down See he trying to pull up he trying to to have everybody run back, think it was going to be a fast break.
Starting point is 00:13:25 Yeah. Like, yeah, yeah. Yeah, he trying to pull up from 27. Like, that's what he trying to do. That's all I thought about was like, he done messed up the fast break while my man on the floor. He called him done. Real talk, though, classic.
Starting point is 00:13:40 Yes. That's classic. Now, if I would have thought about some shit like that in high school, I would have done it. That's classic. Coach would have yelled at me and everything, same as you think. I'm like, you know, you stopping the fast break, blah, blah, blah. But, hey, for history's sake, dog, that shit right there is hilarious. But what are y'all doing if somebody did that to you in the game, if you was on the other side of it?
Starting point is 00:14:04 Laugh. It's nothing you can do, dog.ugh. It's nothing you can do. Yeah, it's nothing you can do. Yeah, it's part of the game. Because guess what? Everybody on here, we all got dunked on before. We all got a jump shot hit in our face before. We all got, you know, laid up with some crazy shot before.
Starting point is 00:14:19 It happens. It's part of the game. The only thing is he threw that bitch off his face real hard. Like, boom, and shit like that. Now that's a different story. Now we got to talk. Happens this part of the game. The only thing is you threw that bitch off his face real hard Now we got a talk Now now we got it now we got a dress that wasn't It's the big man what you do, but I think the most funniest though is he caught the ball No, you trying to shoot this? No, thank you, and here you go. Hold that.
Starting point is 00:14:47 No, thank you, and here you go. Just for the big man to do it, you know the guard had to be talking trash. Oh, he had to be yapping the whole time for him to do that. Something. Oh, my Lord. We up 11?
Starting point is 00:15:01 Yeah. Yeah. We down? We down is a different story. We up 11? Yeah, we up 11. Down, I'm going to push that Yeah. Yeah. If we was down, it's a different story. If we up 11? Yeah. If we was down, I'm going to push that break. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:15:11 Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. What's the most disrespectful thing you did to an opposing player in the game? Anything close to that level? Outside of just regular ball stuff? Nah. Nah. I mean, I talk my junk, you know, like take that in your face, all that. But it was nothing too disrespectful, though.
Starting point is 00:15:31 Not too hard. Mine was Darren Williams turnaround. Shoot the three turnaround game winner. Turn your back on him? Turn your back on him. Nick Young tried to emulate that with uh, with not as much success. He was close, though. He was close. He hit the iron, though.
Starting point is 00:15:50 He hit the iron. He hit something. It rolled around. It rolled around. Can't help but to say, what's the most... In any level of basketball, don't gotta be in the league, but... Like, what's, like, far or something like that? I mean, just something that's disrespectful that had the whole gym feeling sorry for whoever you did it to. Oh, I didn't do some wild shit in the game, bro. Like, high school, y'all had no idea.
Starting point is 00:16:10 But, like, I didn't know. Probably in the league, I think I don't know who it was. I dunked on him and wrapped my legs around him. Take that picture. Let me talk to you. Let me talk to you. Pull him in. Yo.
Starting point is 00:16:32 That or I pick, oh, yeah, this is a good one. There's a picture I got at my house. It was in a playoff game, and I think I either set a screen on CP or something happened, and he was on the ground like face down, and I picked him up by his pants and his shirt his shorts in his shirt I picked him up off the ground like a little boy. I like yeah, I picked CP up on the ground Oh, that's a game of Melvin. No, that's embarrassing Get up the fella sorry about that. He was hot too. Let's go to the opposite side. We was kicking their ass too. Oh Yeah, yeah, what's the most disrespectful thing someone. And we was kicking their ass, too. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:05 That, yeah. What's the most disrespectful thing someone did to you in the game, any level of your career? Disrespectful? We just had this. It's always usually when they call the ISO, like the coach, be like, yo, he can't play no defense. Run the same play defense run the same play Run the same play like come on He's sweet man squeeze
Starting point is 00:17:40 For the ball on you More than once? Yeah. Yeah, that's... My most disrespectful moment when I played in the league, it was part of the game, but it was my rookie season. First game of my NBA career, David Robinson, cuz. What's he doing to you? Got 30, 18, and about like 26, 27 minutes. In Mexico City. Damn.
Starting point is 00:18:12 Ay, ay, ay. I thought I was a pretty good defender. Got back to the hotel that night. You know, called my mom. Boo-hooed, and called my high school coach and boo-hooed. I was like, oh, man, he bust my ass. I've never been more embarrassed in a basketball game than that moment. Now, I've done dumb shit in the games and all of that. I ain't embarrassed about it because, you know, I'm older now.
Starting point is 00:18:47 But at that moment, oh, dog. Hey, I'm thankful that I had drive. Yeah, yeah. But that game just off top could have hurt me, hurt my pride. People don't realize that, like. Hurt my pride. Games. Games and moments in the NBA ruin people's careers.
Starting point is 00:19:08 They can't bounce out of it mentally. Fact. Fact. Ain't nothing you can do. Yeah, you'd be like, oh. Especially wasn't nothing I could do then because, you know, in 95, before Tim Duncan, BT, so he was the man. He had the Nike sneakers, the pump and all that. He was the man. I was watching him when I was in college at Carolina, like, oh, David Robinson. I'm
Starting point is 00:19:34 like, yo, he nice, athletic. He got the little jade lefty. Never thought my wildest dreams that'll be my first nba game in mexico city whoa hey webb george george muris sound like juwan like don't y'all want you know one of y'all got jimmy lino's like after after the first they started the game big george started the game but of course you know you're saving them for the season, so we're going to play. First preseason game, we're going to play all the young fellas. Hey, don't one of y'all want to come in? Bust my ass, dog. At least it was preseason, though.
Starting point is 00:20:14 Yeah. On the bright side. Let's keep this thing moving. Things got heated during the Lakers-Rockets game on Saturday night as LeBron and Rockets head coach Imei Adoka exchanged some words. So we see him getting into it. And from what I heard, Imei is really about that life. Like, there's some story about him fighting a bunch of Algerian dudes when he was playing with the Nigerian national team.
Starting point is 00:20:37 I don't know if it's true or not, but apparently he was busting ass. But many were curious what both men said to each other to lead to the text. Imei was, I think, the second text. He got ejected. Well, thanks to professional lip reader Legend Z, we now know some of what was said. Goals tonight, 21. Now, those are the goals.
Starting point is 00:20:57 It doesn't go. Sorry, you said 21 tickets. So, after the game, both LeBron and Commasoft have the word. And professional lit readers? Yeah, Legends of Ego's heart. Okay. Shout out. That's close enough. It looked like it.
Starting point is 00:21:37 But after the game, both LeBron and Ducker were asked about the exchange. Speaking of text, what were you and him talking about? Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving. How much we enjoyed Thanksgiving. It was very friendly. Yeah, it was. They didn't like what they heard, the refs. Was the conversation
Starting point is 00:21:57 with the officials of JT Orr, or was it a bond between you? Me and the player, yes. To kind of get punked by a team that's not known for physicality or punking people is not a good sign. So, basically called the Lakers bitches during the game, after the game. Also referred to LeBron as the player. Like, he ain't got no name. Like, we playing NBA live.
Starting point is 00:22:23 NBA live, back in the day, Player 99. What are y'all thoughts on that LeBron eBay exchange? All I seen was white people getting involved like normal. For no damn reason. Just interfering with grown folks' business. Just sitting there. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:44 Get on out. Like, come on, man. What the fuck is your problem? Right? What is your problem? This has nothing to do with you. They're not talking to you. They're talking to themselves, like grown-ups.
Starting point is 00:22:53 And for some reason, you have to interfere with what's going on all the time. Mm-hmm. And why was soft-ass boy, like, would tip the iceberg? That's not even, like, disrespectful. Not that bad i think she what did you think about it man i fucked with emay that's my guy i knew emay back when he was in high school college when i was in portland you know emay went to portland state um and played a lot of pickup games with us throughout the summertime um he can ball he got a basketball the ball got a basketball
Starting point is 00:23:26 mind real talk on everything um but on top of that he could ball so he just never had to break um he got the break finally when he came to the league uh his sister could ball too but he got the break finally when he came to the league uh he played a few years with the Spurs and I think that's where he made his impact as far as pop with the mentality part of it and wanting to become a coach but now he may he may Look, yeah, I fucks with you, man. Yeah Yeah, he probably would that was a great challenge right there. That would have been a hell of a fight. I hate to see that. I hate to see that. You ain't no punk. Of course, the position he's in, we got to be mild mannered. When you go in for the job interviews and this and that, you have to let them show progress.
Starting point is 00:24:16 You know what I'm saying? You got to show progress. You can't be the same type of player you was, but that was the type of player he was. He took that challenge. He wasn't going to sit up there and bust his ass for 20, 25, whatever. No, every play is going to be hard for you. I saw him sort of as that, of his era, that Raja Bell. You know what I'm saying? We all know how Raja was. Raja hung his hat on defense. So that's how Ime was. I'd pay to see that fight, though. Who's winning? I'd paid to see that fight, though. Who's winning? I paid to see that fight.
Starting point is 00:24:49 I paid to see that fight. Okay, what'd you think about that whole situation? Interesting. Interesting. See, I look at the whole the whole when it started and I'm a grab Dylan Brooks first and foremost do don't you fucking put your hands on me bro? So wrong with you dog first and foremost. Mm-hmm. Let's let's start. Let's start with him. Mm-hmm I'm gonna get the MA but we're gonna start with you get your motherfucking hands off me dog thrown to you. Mm-hmm. I'm gonna get the MA, but we're gonna start with you. Get your motherfucking hands off me dog thrown to you. Mm-hmm
Starting point is 00:25:27 first For coach to have those things to say now, I think Brian should have took it a little further in That moment like we gonna you know, so putting that who you who you talking about? I you know how we feel like you calling people bitches out here. Like, let's see who you talking about, dog. Like, who? Like, damn, the refs standing there like, like you said, it ain't got nothing to do with you. Mind your business, bro. Who you talking to?
Starting point is 00:25:58 So, Brian handled it, but I think, yeah, we weren't talking about fucking Thanksgiving. Not at all. Hey, what'd you make for Thanksgiving? Yeah, you know what I'm saying? Ass-whooping pie, nigga. I'll whip up a few. No, man, I've had situations, a few running in my mind. No, you're not exempt.
Starting point is 00:26:23 No, you're not. No ass, too. You're not. You say something like you're not exempt. You're not exempt for the... No, you're not. No ass, too. You're not. You say something like, you're not exempt. Because you're part of them. You ain't with us. You're part of them. So Lakers were up 15 at that point, seemed to have the game in hand.
Starting point is 00:26:34 Oh, yeah. We're going to address that. Go ahead and take that one. Oh, we're going to address that. Like, there's a rep... The rep should get fined for this. In my book. Right?
Starting point is 00:26:43 No, he should have let it go, though. No, no, that's what I'm saying like you getting fine you kicking someone out of the guy let it go it's like I'm to let them address it and then tell me go know your personality now let's go no you but know your personnel you know LeBron ain't gonna LeBron ain't punching nobody close out you know they hit nobody that's his legacy but that you see who laughs at finish what I'm saying is you see who Coach ain't hitting nobody. That's his legacy. That's his last affinity zone. You see who the two is. It's LeBron James and the coach.
Starting point is 00:27:11 It's a difference of me walking up. If I'm walking up on him, there's a possibility that I'm going to... I'm sitting here like, can we get... It's a free throw. This ain't in the middle of the game It's it's a dead ball situation
Starting point is 00:27:29 What is the point of this you this technical but you get that though? I'm shit You know your man your man fucking hated me. Oh, he hated me in Jersey and when he was in Chicago fucking Frank No, no, oh the little one You know Frank Lord Lawrence Lawrence motherfucker The little right well as far as basketball was you know just on the course. I don't know about the court I'm just speaking on the court. Oh that motherfucker hated me though him
Starting point is 00:28:01 Scott Skiles Scott Skiles didn't like my ass neither when he was in Chicago some situation so we playing Memphis Lionel Hollins the coach right I'd be somebody shit up. They coming up with that shit like six seven rolls me That shit out of here, right? You know, I'm asshole. I'm asshole. I go ask for the ball back So we gonna need that for a few more hours. Let me get that The fan was throwing the ball back to me, right? He snatched the ball back. Hey, we're going to need that for a few more hours. Let me get that. The fan was throwing the ball back to me, right? He snatched the ball out there.
Starting point is 00:28:29 Yo, yo, goddamn it, let me get the ball. You ain't going to be bitching us out here today. Right, right? So that's the way. I can't do nothing but laugh because it's like,
Starting point is 00:28:37 oh, shoot, so you see what is going on. Yeah, you got to at that point, though, yo. I laughed like a motherfucker. So me and him laughed about this shit later into this day.
Starting point is 00:28:45 He's like, man, you remember when you motherfuckers were trying to punk us out there? I said, hey, man, you stepped in for your guys. What you supposed to do? So you said you had issues with Scott Skiles, Lawrence Frank. Do you remember any times where y'all got into it during games? Or what was the situation? Oh, yeah. When Scott Skiles was coach in Chicago.
Starting point is 00:29:02 So this one, I was with Detroit. So this one, they had the foreigner young boy was... Nocioni. Nocioni. So, you know, boom. LB called my number. I mean, excuse me, Flip called my number. We out there, all right, ugh, ugh, doing it. And right there in front, hey, you want to put him on me? Bucket. Came down, like, two times in a row.
Starting point is 00:29:31 And then I'm like, yo, if you don't get this motherfucker off of me, dog, like, for real. Oh, he turned red and everything. He's like, oh. And then so at halftime, excuse me, at the end of the game, you know, from one of the other players who I was cool with on that team, he told me he was like Scott. Scott was like, and yeah, if one of you motherfuckers ever go out there and you guys got to punch motherfuckers like Rasheed Wallace in his fucking mouth to shut him up. That's how we got to win games. And I was like, damn, he took that one kind of personal. But it was your fault for putting this little-ass motherfucker on me.
Starting point is 00:30:08 It ain't my fault. You put him on me. So it seems like bitch is one of LeBron's trigger words. I mean, we've seen him get into Draymond and other players about it. What was the trigger word when you were hooping? Like what was something that was off limits? If somebody called you, it'd be time to square up. Yeah, that was about the same. If somebody tried to call me a bitch. I'm going at you
Starting point is 00:30:28 On or off the court with that one. Yeah, I Ain't no bitching me mama sub Here coach a silver all see me I got you lost See me and y'all, damn! Step up with a horn. Step up. Bam! Hey, that tap. I got you, law. Oh, shit. Get a type of nigga, see him come and do this. Yeah, hey, that's true.
Starting point is 00:30:53 No, get somebody else. Yeah, yeah, nah, come on. He turn his head like he don't see, like, tiny shoe or some shit. I ain't get the feel of the game yet, man. You ain't about this. Third quarter. That's your personal. I ain't got the feel of the game yet. It's the third quarter.
Starting point is 00:31:04 I took the egg I took that shit personal, man. I ain't got to fill the game, man. It's the third quarter. I took the egg. All that shit. Can you have any words that Rob flips people talking to you? Oh, you know, that bitch word, like I said,
Starting point is 00:31:12 put a name on it. Like, don't, if you, who you talking to, just don't, who you, like, nah. Don't be indirectly.
Starting point is 00:31:19 Yeah, we just had this conversation on Thursday, bro, about the disrespect shit, didn't we? Didn't we? Didn't we just have this conversation on Thursday, bruh, about the disrespect shit, didn't we? Didn't we? Didn't we just have this conversation on Thursday about me not taking no disrespect? From fans.
Starting point is 00:31:31 No fucking body. From fans. Nah, I'm with you. Between that 90... No body. That 94.50, bruh. On the street, 94.50, nowhere. But especially between that 94.50.
Starting point is 00:31:43 Nigga, I'm... Hey, Josiah's over here like this. I'm with you on that. You know what I'm saying? Dude, nah, I'm just... 94 50 nowhere, but especially between that 94 50 See me being who I am right If I know I'm trying to if I want you to go there I'm gonna say something to put you in a position to make you want to fight me right Off top pardon my French. I'm gonna tell you man suck my dick man oh the chest Nick New Yorkers don't like that right that's not like that right well and if somebody said to me we know we fight so you know what it is no no I want you to fight no no no no if I said to you I want to fight but you want me
Starting point is 00:32:21 to say it back to you in the way either way you know you gotta say it first I'm gonna punch in your face either way I go so if you start if I said to fight but you want me to say it back to you in the either way either way You know you say it first. I'm a punch in your face either way it go So if you start if I said to you and you swing at me, it's deserving You know saying just you better you better land. That's all I'm saying But you call me a bitch on the floor you do some Deal with trash talking trash talking. Yes. Oh, you can't stop this. What did I say? Watch me lay you left-handed right hand Yeah, you said different all that. Yeah, I say? Watch me lay you left-handed, right-handed. Yeah, you suck. That's different.
Starting point is 00:32:45 All that, yeah. You know what I'm saying? Oh, take this J in your face. That's different. But yeah, when I'm up, hey. What's wrong with y'all? It was other more embarrassing things, like getting dunked on. No, that's cool.
Starting point is 00:32:58 And then the coach called a timeout. That's cool. Boom. I can deal with somebody dunking. Now they got to replay it the whole time for two minutes. But like I said a second ago, we all got dunked on before. I can deal with that motherfuckering. They ain't never have. I can deal with somebody dunking. Now they got to replay it the whole time for two minutes. They ain't never have. But like I said a second ago, we all got dunked on before. I can deal with that motherfucker dunking on me, boom.
Starting point is 00:33:09 Ah! Because guess what? I done dunked on way more people. Exactly. Trust me. I done dunked. Oh, I get that. Getting dunked on and running.
Starting point is 00:33:17 No, getting dunked on and then your coach call a timeout. That's, that's- They never have. Boom! I can deal with all that. Like, come on, bruh! It happens. It's part of the game. Nah, nah, nah. Not the timeout one. But you're not going to call me no bitch, bro. It happens. It's part of the game. Yeah, that ain't... Nah, nah, not the timeout one.
Starting point is 00:33:25 But you're not going to call me no bitch, though. Yeah. Or no bitch-ass nigga or whatever, though. None of that. Nah. I'm not going to talk about none of that. None of that. Nah, because I know you're trying to get to me.
Starting point is 00:33:35 Because I know you're trying to get to me. But yeah, but that's also kind of sort of taking it also off the court with it. But I know you're trying to get to me. Like, when I got crossed over and failed, and then you get subbed out right after. I can say a few other things. We got 82 games. I'll see you, especially if you're in my conference,
Starting point is 00:33:56 I'll see you three more times. I can afford this game. Yeah, yeah. See, I can say a few more things, like, to try to get to you about your game other than me calling you a bitch-ass. Yeah, see, I, yeah. You know what I'm saying? See, there were other players. I can say a whole lot things like to try to get to you about your game other than me calling you a bitch ass Yeah, see I yeah, it was see the life. I could say oh, I'll be the truth Yeah, I could say a whole lot of shit before bitch ass nigga
Starting point is 00:34:14 I didn't work out like players didn't get to me. I got this I got it the stores the shit that's Dictionary all that shit that I could say before I get the bitch ass nigga. I grew up in the valley So I grew up in the valley bro so. I grew up in the Valley, bro. So, I done heard it all. So, there was nothing the player could say. It was just coach's mannerisms. So, therefore, if somebody could get to that point, then, yeah, we.
Starting point is 00:34:35 Yeah. Because where I'm from, we do it, and I done seen dudes do it. You bitch, they fight and break it up, and then we go back to hooping. Yes, yeah. Yeah, y'all was on words. But how about like personal type things? Like say you're dating or you're married to a woman and another player, you know, refers to her
Starting point is 00:34:51 as a type of serial or something like that. Like would you? Personal things? No, you can't get personal with you? Dude. Is it worse? No, Josiah. Can I just ask a question?
Starting point is 00:35:02 I'm merely here, I'm a conduit. Dude. Just scoot over. He said I'm a conduit. Sco'm merely here. I'm a conduit dude. Just scoot over I'm just relaying the message listen. So there's listen my mom off-limits My kids all them to our wife off-limits Family's off But like you can talk about me. Oh, but you say certain things do like only like There's a playoff game. We kicking the Mavericks ass
Starting point is 00:35:31 I'm doing what I dirt doing this thing, but I'm out there in his shit Mark Cuban see my mom had some disrespectful to say call me hug or something to my mom and my mom was upset After the game she visibly upset. Don't nobody want to tell me why in the moment while I'm still at the arena. Right? They wait till we leave the arena and tell me what happened. So, you know, me, next game in Dallas,
Starting point is 00:35:57 I'm on 12. Right? We end up losing that game, but we end up beating them 4-1, but we lose that game. So, you know, I'm all bets off now. If you know the way Mark Cuban always have walked, he always walked, the game is over, it's diagonal across the court, right? Every time it's diagonal.
Starting point is 00:36:17 No other time he walked baseline, sideline, because I'm B-lining right towards you. And there's a clip out there of me where I'm, you bitch, I'm going, and the police and security, everybody lining up, because I'm trying to get to a billionaire. All right. Wait, so- A billionaire. Anybody can be touched. Not an M.
Starting point is 00:36:40 Not an M. He a bill at the time, and I'm trying- So this is just, I'm just going to throw it out there. Yeah. So at this point in time, was he wrong? Yes. For saying something to my mother? No, I'm just saying what he said to your mother. It doesn't matter, nigga. No, no, I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:36:54 He calling him a thug. He did some thug shit after. But I ain't never been, listen, what makes a thug? For a billionaire? But what makes a thug? No, for the billionaire. I ain't never been arrested. I ain't never sold drugs. I graduated from high school.
Starting point is 00:37:06 I graduated from college, and I'm a professional in my field. What makes me a fucking thug? Isn't thug a new word? What do they say? No, no. Oh. They changed the word, bro. Julie the humble, the under god.
Starting point is 00:37:14 Yes, sir. No. That's you. He going to get the needle putting that boy on. Listen, hey, his lawyer going to get the needle putting his arm, but that's... I can tell you that shit right now. I'm going to tell you that shit right now. I'm going to tell you that shit right now.
Starting point is 00:37:22 I'm going to tell you that shit right now. I'm going to tell you that shit right now. I'm going to tell you that shit right now. I'm going to tell you that shit right now. I'm going to tell you that shit right now. I'm going to tell you that shit right now. I'm going to tell you that shit right now. He gonna get the needle putting that boy on. Listen, hey, his lawyer gonna get the needle putting his arm. I can tell you that shit right now. He needs to go find him another lawyer. The fact that you remember. Absolutely, because that shit, when I read it. You under God.
Starting point is 00:37:39 His lawyer gonna get the needle putting his arm fucking up there with that bullshit. Your opening statement. But for you to say anything to my mother other than fucking high mm-hmm or good thing or good Anything other than high to my mother in that doing a play dear doing a playoff series Huh? Mm-hmm. I'm on edge during the regular season as is. Playoffs, I'm off the edge. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I got one foot hanging off the fucking edge in the playoffs here.
Starting point is 00:38:13 Dirk drove to the bathroom. I was doing 25,000. Yes. Yeah, they had to protect him. You know what I'm saying? I know the feeling. Yeah, so it's that shit. But for you to say anything to my mother, off limits, dog. My kid, listen, we was at the usher at the game, Clipper game,
Starting point is 00:38:29 when they tried to move my kid. If you fucking touch my child again, I'm going to jail in this bitch. But see, they don't realize you're a man before a professional athlete. Like, yo, I'm a grown-ass man with kids paying my bills. I'm... No. All that other shit, you talking with my kids,
Starting point is 00:38:49 my wife, like you said, my mom, all that. No. That shit don't fly in this... No, no fly zone over here. Yeah, absolutely. Fuck out of here
Starting point is 00:38:57 with that shit, dog. F-O-H all day. F-O-H. Man, anything, for real. Because, yo, again, I can deal with you talking about me. You can say whatever you want about me.
Starting point is 00:39:09 It won't hurt my feelings. You can call me a punk other than a bitch. That's, you know. You call me whatever you want. You can say my game is trash. You know, I can't shoot. That's all fine. But, no, it is certain trigger words, as you mentioned a minute ago.
Starting point is 00:39:26 It's certain trigger words, yo. Everybody got them as people. It ain't even us being athletes. Well, maybe not Gilbert, but most people. No, Gil's got trigger words. It gonna have to do with something that has to do with my work ethic or something. Gil, when people call you broke, you seem to
Starting point is 00:39:41 take that personally. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You don't like that. I'm just saying. Yeah, you don't like that But that's coming from people who don't know the field yeah, I mean you dig so you I mean, you know You ain't taking it personal. But yeah, we heard that shit before but hey man fuck that No, I did get mad when someone said yeah, I picked Ginobili before you. Well, hold on, bitch. No, you're not. No, you're not. Don't even put me in a category with a sixth man. Like, stop.
Starting point is 00:40:12 You're not going to do that. I'm all for who the best second round, but you're not going to put Ginobili in front of me. I don't give a fuck if he got 12 rings. He didn't get it by himself. He wasn't the factor point. He was a third fourth fifth option at best. Yeah, I'm sorry We're not gonna do this right here. All right, you want to put Joker in front who you say Dennis Rodman?
Starting point is 00:40:35 I'm still like oh, we're not gonna do that. Are you talking to somebody particular girl? Perhaps? So you're taking back to the Bernie Maxwell shit, right? Man, Max. He didn't just go in the stands because. Like, today, I'm going to pick. No, today, at the game, I'm going to go in the stands today. Like, no, you fucking with my family up here. Word.
Starting point is 00:41:02 Like, whatever. Anytime somebody has did something other than you know, but going to the stadium, it has something to do with somebody's family member, dog. Right. Like, ain't nobody going for that. You gotta people, like you said, you gotta know your artist, you gotta know who you're dealing with, man. Fat. You gotta
Starting point is 00:41:18 know, you don't understand people's background, where they come from, what they, what who's, people have no idea when it comes to sport like using they think because we athletes we getting paid this we supposed to all of a sudden turn turn this off like no this what this is a Bible mode this what got me out of our yeah all right like I've grown a truck. I've grown a lot bruh and my adult likes I've got I've grown up a lot Hey with that wisdom through through
Starting point is 00:41:53 When this one sent me Me self Medicaid and therapy Between them two my wife man like like, I've grown a lot. But there's still certain things that I'm not going to tolerate. And we appreciate that, bro, especially me being in close proximity to you. You're never in harm's way. Oh, never. Never.
Starting point is 00:42:18 No, you got to put on a uniform. But I feel like. You're never in harm's way. But no, it's the opposite side. It's the opposite side, K-Mart. I feel like I can go out with you now. I can start talking a bunch of shit the ship be like yeah, I got Kmart with Do We out I definitely gonna let it happen
Starting point is 00:42:48 I'm just I can't wait to go back to Tacoma I can tell you all about big man. Uh-huh. We like offense alignment We ain't going to let nothing happen to our guards no matter on or off the court We ain't gonna let nothing happen to our guard. That's how we are. Well, the underdog family will be heavy in Tacoma next summer. Rematch! We bet! Let's move to the lighter side of things.
Starting point is 00:43:13 So LeBron made headlines earlier last week when he said that he will miss a Lakers game for Bronny's USC debut. You know, I'm looking forward to his first game whenever he's cleared
Starting point is 00:43:22 and whenever he's ready to have his first game. I already told my teammates that if they play on the same day we play, then I'm going to have to catch them the next game. I told you I wouldn't play. No. They got him. His first college game, whenever he's clear and ready to go.
Starting point is 00:43:46 But Gil Sartre, do you have any issue with LeBron missing a Lakers game for Bronny's USC debut? You know, Dan, he ain't missed no goddamn game, brother. Right? That's, you see he's lying because no one heard that before. Most likely. I told y'all to play. Most likely, because it is his son, he is going to know what game he's going to come back for and he's going to make sure it's not on game day.
Starting point is 00:44:11 Come on. Let's just be honest. Yeah. It's going to be right down the street. But let's just be honest. Just take an Uber back to Staples. Brian ain't taking the... I got to say, fuck that.
Starting point is 00:44:21 He ain't missing no damn game. He ain't missing no... No, the schedule needs out already. Pick and choose. If we got a game, No, the schedules out already pick and choose and we got a game you don't like Brian you gonna sit out there You're gonna play with three days. I cool Yeah, no, you know, you gonna play that game. No disrespect to him and young Brownie, but yeah because That's that's the only thing to do
Starting point is 00:44:45 as that father. Like, I know he might be thinking like, shit, if I miss this game, that's fine. Team fine or league fine, whatever the case may be, but no, you gotta get a white kid because, hey, he's going to have many more games at USC. One thing I tell you, that motherfucker
Starting point is 00:45:01 fall on ESPN or TNT, one of them, ABC, trust me. Yeah He gonna be there. Yeah, I'm Jane Gonna be in the building. Yeah, a lot of people thought that he don't could tell Bronn that the Rockers gonna be drafted Bronny, that's what started the whole situation I know you ain't bitch. Y'all stupid as hell. That would have been funny. Hey, dog. That was some real shit.
Starting point is 00:45:30 Oh, that should have been funny. That should have been funny. That should have been funny. Don't use that draft word loosely. Let's talk about another unfortunate topic, these Golden State Warriors. After blowing a 24-point lead to the Kings last Tuesday in the in-season tournament, Warriors appeared to be headed in the right direction. They beat the Clippers Thursday at home.
Starting point is 00:45:51 Then they headed to L.A. for the rematch against the Clippers on Saturday. They were up 22 points in the third quarter, but then this happened on the final play of the game. So Steph got the ball. Oh, he just got Kawhi on him. Oh, ready to mix him. Hit Draymond in the corner. Break. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:11 Draymond did hit. Wait, rewind that again. Wait a second. Yeah. Break it down. I wanted to see that. No, no, he's been hit again. I wanted to see the guilt break down.
Starting point is 00:46:19 So you want me to go? You can go. First and foremost, I didn't see the end of the game. I well I had some but I Was out and about Pick all the time out. No, he's coming up coming after it's gonna come out of time out, right? Why Why we go back just pause it I'm sorry, I know what y'all know I'm a Draymond guy, uh-huh Pause it right there. Yeah, all right pause it right it. I'm sorry. Y'all know I'm a Draymond guy. Uh-huh. Why hit the game?
Starting point is 00:46:46 Pause it right there. All right, pause it right there. Why hit? No, fuck. Go back to the timeout. You hit 4-3. You got the timeout on here? No, no.
Starting point is 00:46:54 I'm just fucking with you. No, no. Let's go back to the timeout. If there is one. What's the timeout? They didn't have none. This can't be a timeout because- They didn't have none. No, they used their last timeout.
Starting point is 00:47:03 Okay, well, never mind then. Yeah, I was going to say- Well, never mind. Because the way the Okay, well never mind. Yeah, I was gonna say good never mind because the way to match up be my yeah, okay I'm mine. Okay. I got go girl the way to match up is never mind I didn't it didn't look like a timeout because Kawhi is guarding them. So this must have been just that was a full time I so Paul George dotted clay's eye To put the like Clippers up one and the Warriors timeout they call the timeout, right? So why is I'm a dream on guy Yes, I am. I feel you me. Why is he in the game right now? No offense, you need you need bring it back. You do the possession. Yes. You for I don't care
Starting point is 00:47:37 Okay, but oh yeah, look hello. Yeah, little heat on us. Oh, yeah, four threes in the game. I understand here But overall and then do my backpack but as a basketball player He hit four threes in the game. I understand here's but overall But as a basketball player Gilbert, yeah There's asking yeah, would you have taken him out of the game? Yes. Okay, even at that point being for four seven Yes, okay. Thank you. Did Steph Curry so LeBron always gets heat For making the right basketball play. Did Steph Curry make the right basketball play? Well, see, this is why...
Starting point is 00:48:07 No. No. No, that's one, no. The problem I have is that, pause it right now. What is Klay doing? This is what irritates me about basketball now, right? Klay, you can shoot that far, but not right now. Like, you were so far out of this play, shooting from the hash mark.
Starting point is 00:48:34 If I did pass you the ball. You're going to have to pump fake. Yeah, you're going to pump fake, try to get a little closer. That's the end of the game. Right? So, that's one problem to Draymond should have been back doing Russ true If he is in the game if he's in the game, he should be soon as
Starting point is 00:48:54 That's the right play to shooting his Curry's driving We already know Russell is gonna be helping on the drive So if especially in Draymond if hemond went and he threw that lob, most likely he's not jumping with that power because he's only 6'5". It's not like there's a big back there. It's just so many things that you'd be like, come on, y'all. Hey, as they
Starting point is 00:49:15 said in Hollywood Shuffle, I disagree homeboy. I disagree. I disagree. Right now, you got Dray in the corner. Granted, okay, he is in the game. You can't do nothing about, you got Dre in the corner. Granted, okay, he is in the game. You can't do nothing about that at this point. He is in the game.
Starting point is 00:49:30 Absolutely. So you got the two young fellas down there. Who is that? Moses? Who else? I don't know. Boone and Pazinski. Pazinski.
Starting point is 00:49:38 Okay. So they down in the corner. So you already know the Rock ain't going to them. So now, PG is switched on to Klay, right? So at this point, if I'm Steph looking at this play, I got to get a foul. We only down one. We don't need a fucking three. That's another problem with the game today. Everybody thinking three is going to settle things.
Starting point is 00:49:58 We don't need a fucking three, yo. Plus, look. Look who's in the bonus. Any of the slight things, that's all- who's in the bonus. Any of the slight things, that's all-star versus all-star. And then nine times out of ten, if I make a good move, I'm going to get that call. Now I'm going to go to the line, bang, bang, and it's going to leave, what? Let's say it might even leave three and a half seconds or. And for the Clippers to do something.
Starting point is 00:50:27 But no, I put that on Steph. That's not Dre's fault. That's not Dre's mind's fault. I put that on Steph. So to add on to what we're talking about, right? You know they're not helping off the strong corner, right? No, at all. So put Draymond in this corner. Right?
Starting point is 00:50:41 And then put young fellas back. Put Draymond in this corner, because they're not helping out. Then you got somebody on the other side that can actually... Because if that's Moses, Moses is a better three-point shooter than Dray. And one thing, too, Steph ain't going to get fouled. He's a jump shooter that wants to shoot the jumper. Yeah, but you got I mean dog Get to the bucket though Gil as a guard
Starting point is 00:51:10 One is one anybody else. I agree with you. No, no, no you want the 14 one? Clay will are clay would be were Yeah, clay would be were motherfucking Draymond is, so you would flip them. Westbrook is. So you would flip them. Yeah, no, he's down, too. Okay.
Starting point is 00:51:30 Just how the right side look, the left side's going to look the same way. Oh, okay. You know, that's... So you want that total one-four flat. You know me, I'm a total one-four flat. So you put Draymond in the dunker. Yep. And Clay in the corner.
Starting point is 00:51:40 Yep. One-four flat. And if anybody helps, you got an easy dump, or I got this... I got more... I'm movement. And if anybody helps, you got an easy dump, or I got this, I got more movement. And then. Here, you're only going left. Unless you were skilled enough to spin back right towards the middle and get that. At his angle.
Starting point is 00:51:53 At his athleticism. Yeah. See that, with his angle. And he got the, for him, it's the overload to the right. And you know what? And this is just add to everything. I would have rather had Kevon Looney in the game in the dunker on this side cuz often it's real like it's just yeah Other than Draymond, I ought to put him in the dunk on the strong side to go to one for a flat cuz he you know
Starting point is 00:52:14 He is a bigger player taller player. I drew this shit up. Yeah Who drew it up? Not by Myers no so we asked the chat, did Steph make the right play? I'm waiting for the poll results. Drum roll. They said no. No, I don't...
Starting point is 00:52:32 In my opinion, I don't think he did, man. He should have took that himself. That's that challenge. That's that all-star versus all-star challenge that you're supposed to want. 61% said no,
Starting point is 00:52:42 so they agree with y'all. Yeah, no, he's... So let's talk about these Warriors a little bit. Warriors three and seven their last ten games lost four straight road games Currently nine and eleven this season 11th in the West We talked about this little last week, but when is it time for the Warriors to hit the panic button? Yeah, I thought we done hit that shit we done every we talk about that we done hit the panic button. Have you? You said write it out, initially write it out, write it out, be loyal.
Starting point is 00:53:11 No, I mean write it out, but it's over. Hit the button. There's really- Damn. When they decided not to pay Clay, when they decided not to pay Clay, I don't think they knew that you have a guy going into the free agency market. Now his future is uncertain. You should have known what mentally that was going to do to him. But you don't have any awareness of what it takes to be a basketball player.
Starting point is 00:53:37 So we could have told you all that. Well, Clay not having a contract, yeah, he ain't got the type of mind that just... The motivation. Yeah, that just says, I'm playing for a contract here, let me kick it in. Versus somebody who's sitting there thinking about his certainty
Starting point is 00:53:51 and he's one of those players. So for a guy who didn't have a conscience before, you gave him one. And this is what it's been looking like. To Clay's defense, he's been playing a little bit better the last four or five games. This is a...
Starting point is 00:54:04 Look. I don't like when you do that, Dustin. I'm sorry. That means you're just going to be past the point I'm trying to make. Real passive. Passive, passive. That's what's up. Yeah, no, it's- yeah, we had the conversation here, and yeah, I think there's some decisions
Starting point is 00:54:24 that are going to have to be made, like, real, real soon. Got to Black History Month. Yeah, you're going to have to make something real soon, man. Like, because it's giving reminiscent of last year. That when you couldn't win on the road, and we knew why that was, but it's still like, so what is it now? Now you got to look at the talent.
Starting point is 00:54:46 So now what do it now? Now you got to look at the talent. So now what do you do? You got to start looking around that locker room and other than, you know, Steph is untouchable. What else? You know what I'm saying? What else do we, now we got to start, like... We got to get this boy some help, or like we said before, if the fans ain't going to like this... Somebody got to go. And if it's...
Starting point is 00:55:14 Do we get rid of Steph to get some pieces back? Or do him the right way? You know what I'm saying? In order to do him the right way, not have him rot. No, I think they'll get rid of Dre before they get rid of it. Oh, we're you get rid of Dre that turns That's tough. Don't let the end you let the Tigers you let the Tigers loose on Steph It's clay clay. I think clay and create
Starting point is 00:55:39 Agents, so you don't think I didn't gonna make a trade for him because I think they're going to make a trade for him. Because he's the only, like, when you're talking about getting better, you know when we go into the summer, enhancing our skill level, right? It just seems like no matter, we can say the injuries or not, but from the time he came into the league till now, what has he actually improved besides just getting wiser and, you know, a little bit bigger? What has he actually improved besides just getting wiser and, you know, a little bit bigger?
Starting point is 00:56:07 What has he improved? Has he gotten better? Like when Steph came into the league, we've seen what his weaknesses were. Those are not the same weaknesses today. With Klay, what have you actually gotten better at doing? Posting up, dribbling better, like coming off, like, you know what I mean? What have you gotten? But we know you can shoot
Starting point is 00:56:27 the shit out of the ball, so we know that you're going to have years, you're going to have months, weeks where you're flat out looking gory. With that, I would have to say
Starting point is 00:56:35 his defense, though. I mean, like, as far as, especially early on in his career, pre-injury, he was their best wing defender. He was the one who stepped up to want to guard the other, you know,
Starting point is 00:56:51 premier wing players in the league for that team. You know, Dre, of course, he was down low, so that's a whole different story. But, I mean, yeah, I would have to say that's where Klay made his mark because at one point I think it was what? He made either first or second team, all defensive or something of that nature. But I like him. I like him. You know, on top of that, I'm not being biased.
Starting point is 00:57:16 That's my nephew. I'm outside of being biased. But, no, he helped that team. But if you think about it, though, if you're trying to win, it's easier for me to find another rebounder, another low-post, air quotes, defender like Dre over a shooter. You know, everybody in this league now can't shoot. Them niggas ain't shooting. So, Shee, let's talk about Draymond a little bit. Plays with a lot of heart and passion,
Starting point is 00:57:51 kind of similar to how you played during your career. What do you think about Draymond as a player, and what do you think about how he interacts with the refs? That's our fault. And when I say our, that's my fault, that's Ben Wallace's fault, that's Chauncey's fault, that's Rip Hamilton's fault, Tayshon's fault, that's Corliss's fault. Everybody in that locker room, because he grew up in our locker room.
Starting point is 00:58:17 One of his best friends was the son of the GM. So he was around us, practiced in the locker room after games, before games. So he heard the different language. And we all know it's a different language when the cameras is not there. Gotta be professional with it a little bit. But he heard all that and that's what made him go out there. That's why he's doing the bully
Starting point is 00:58:40 shit. The bully shit he's doing now, in my opinion. But no, he caught all that shit in our locker room. I love him, I love him. That's my young fella. I love him to death, man. And I think I can, I have the privilege with him to be one on one if I have the privilege to tell him
Starting point is 00:58:58 if he's right or if he's wrong with certain situations. But no, that's my young guy, man. I love him. Does he ever reach out to you to be like, damn, should I have Chuck Gobert? Should I have Chuck harder? No, no. Not like that. Was it hard enough?
Starting point is 00:59:11 When I see him, you know, when I see him, it's all love and everything, but no, I got to let these guys play, man, because I had old heads too. When I was playing, I had guys that played in the NBA, but you got to let them play, man. You know, you can't critique every game because, number one, he's going to be playing at least nine months throughout the year just because of the team he's on. So you got to let guys play.
Starting point is 00:59:34 There's too many games to try to critique them all for one. Yep. So you said you had a profound impact on Draymond early in his life. He got to see a lot of stuff y'all had going on, and that's kind of an origin story. He saw how that old for locker room So dream on only ten ejections away from tying your NBA record of 29 ejections. Let's go But will dray monster pass you as the ejection go let's fuck We need the all-star game That's fucking... Oh! We ain't even at the All-Star game yet.
Starting point is 01:00:09 It's going to happen. 29 career rejections. He's got 19. It's going to happen. A couple years away. He's on pace. Here's the crazy thing. I don't wish it on my young fella,
Starting point is 01:00:22 but I'm just tired of motherfuckers coming up to me and be like, oh, you got the record for this. Actually, no, bitch, I don't. I'm just tired of motherfuckers coming up to me and being like, oh, you got the record for this. Actually, no, bitch, I don't. I'm third overall. I got the most for one year. But if he surpasses that, like, let's fucking. You're third in tech. You got the single season tech record. But I think you got the ejection record at 29.
Starting point is 01:00:38 Yeah, I do. I do. I'm proud of you, though. But we got to ask this question, and it should be lawyers involved. Since a referee came out publicly and said they were purposely doing it, shouldn't you be able to fight and get some of your money back on some of those technical... I did. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:01:03 So you got some bread back on some of those funds. For sure. After he came out publicly? Oh, Oh, okay. So you got some bread back on some of those funds? For sure. Oh. After he came out publicly? Oh, okay, okay. Because that would have been the first thing. I would have said, like, wait, hold on. You just ain't going to come out, like, publicly and say this is what y'all was doing.
Starting point is 01:01:17 You know how they do it. They try to do it on the secret side of things. They don't want to make things public. So, you know, I'm not going to discuss how it was. But, yeah, I did. I did that. When that happened with him, that was seven games. It cost me like 1.2, 1.3. Yeah, 2003. Oh, shit. So 2003, you got seven-game suspension. It was a long suspension for nonviolent or fighting-related at that time. Yup. And it cost me like 1.2, 1.3 at that time. So, but the, but the,
Starting point is 01:01:46 my retribution from that was two things. One, when, uh, me and my guy Bonzi, we had a podcast a couple of years ago. Um, and we interviewed him and, you know, now you want to bring it out it was retribution right that was number one number two when i first first found out that he was cheating or i shouldn't say that he was cheating that you know they actually league actually caught him and exposed him and not the other you know guys who was with him i'm in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea on vacation. At the time, I was married with my wife, J05, Jermaine O'Neal, and a lot of our family. It was, you know, nice little family trip. GM called me. Joe called me like, hey, hey, hey, what's good, young fella?
Starting point is 01:02:40 What's good, young fella? I'm like, you know, I'm just out here on the sea just enjoying life, blah, blah, blah. Yeah, she, you was right. What you talking about, dog? He's like, yeah, they got him. They caught him. I'm like, what you talking about? He said, the referee. You know, they caught him, them you know this and that and you know that's all they you know saying right now so i'm like oh shit so now right and it just it was ironic because right before that my mother-in-law had called me she hung watching the kids and everything like baby it's all these reporters and all these trucks outside of the gate you know what you want me to do this and that well i'm like mommy you know, what you want me to do? This and that.
Starting point is 01:03:25 Well, I'm like, Mommy, you know, did they, you know, knock on the door? Did they ring the bell? Whatever. She's like, no. I said, all right, well, as long as they don't pass the gate, everything good. I was like, don't worry about it. The kids is good, right? She was like, yeah, they good.
Starting point is 01:03:38 I'm like, all right, we good. But when I found out, I was like, oh, my gosh. You talk about, remember when you won your first, like, state championship or city championship? Nope. Come on, Gil. Grand High. Grand High. You won a championship before AAU something. And that jubilation you was feeling, that excitement like, yo, yeah, we did it.
Starting point is 01:04:07 That's how I felt. That's how I was screaming on this boat in the middle of the Mediterranean Ocean and everybody looking at me like, what is wrong with you? And, you know, I felt them in, but, oh, that was retribution. Yeah, that was like championship right there. Okay. Retribution. That's crazy as shit, man.
Starting point is 01:04:24 Hey, bro. Beautiful moment right there. Okay. Retribution. That's crazy as shit, man. I'm telling you, bro. Beautiful moment. Yeah, yeah. Oh, man. For all of us that were Sheep fans coming up, didn't appreciate the way the league, you know. I know, that shit was wild. No, we watched it in real time, man,
Starting point is 01:04:36 because us being out there and us cut from the same emotion and type of a player like we... Fact. Yeah, like it felt like, yo, we used to be out there, motherfuckers, like, yo, these motherfuckers really out here cheating, bro. Oh, yeah, I used to tell them, hey, give him the tech, ref! Give him the tech, he can't talk to you like that! I used to do that shit all the time.
Starting point is 01:04:56 Come on, ref! All of them did. All you could say at the time, like, in real time, and all the, like, come on, man, don't be doing that, bro. Like, don't cheat us, all right? Come on, don't do that, man. Did you say that now in real time and all that like come on man. Don't be doing that But like don't cheat us. I come in on me. Don't do that man. Do you say that now? What would you say? Yeah? So the craziest thing I asked the ref I said Now again, I'm a young fella and I didn't know the actual billion-dollar business at a league at the time
Starting point is 01:05:19 But I'm going more off a game. So, you know, Mike playing. I'm like, yo. It was one of the... And boom! Foul. Like, oh, now Mike going to the line. I'm like, yo. I'm like, come on.
Starting point is 01:05:34 I'm like, do you really think that guys like Mike, Kobe, Brian, you really think they need your help to call a foul for them? I'm like, come on, dog. They're already skilled offensively. You know what I'm saying? I don't necessarily need you to call no phantom calls for them. So stop dick eating and just go ahead and rough the game. Because now the thing where I find it disrespectful with refs is the fact that you got the
Starting point is 01:06:07 seventh eighth ninth tenth dude that's on our team he could be getting some minutes no matter if he's a good rebounder good defender he could shoot this and that but he out there yo you got to give him the same respect because they're not thinking about the world like, damn. It's only, what? It's only been no more than, what, 3,000, 3,500 players total in the league, period? Worldwide for the last 100 plus years?
Starting point is 01:06:36 You got to give that man his respect a little bit. Like, god damn, we know that these star players is star power, but damn, give the little man some power too. Shit, don't make me just feel like a fucking peon. Mm-hmm. Yeah, he's right, too. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:50 Like, a rep, the easiest thing for a rep to do is, we don't need favoritism as a star that 50-50 call, right? If it's 50-50, like, it was right there between the block. You'll get that more than me. Yeah, but that's what I said, before the block or the charge, okay, I'll take that one. Right, yeah, yeah, yeah, let me go ahead and get that. You'll get that more than me. Yeah, let me go ahead and get that.
Starting point is 01:07:13 I'm getting all dog call. Every foul is on me, guys. That's what I said, the 50, like, if a ref, it's the 50-50 ones. Like, just making up shit that you reach in, you trying to get the guy out of the game, you're doing too much. The 50-50s were, you know? We both diving at the same time You know I mean and it could be an offensive foul or not like right, right, you know if it was on me No call how about that? Now? I take the no call
Starting point is 01:07:36 I got my five fouls and I do a little reach when he walked through it. No call no call I'm gonna take those let's go both ways. But I'm not going to complain. I'm not going to complain. You give me a phantom call, I'm not going to complain. I can tell you that for sure. Well, y'all star players don't. I mean, you used to star player in this league, Gil. I mean, goddamn, motherfuckers paid to see you come score 50 a night now.
Starting point is 01:07:51 I'm not going to complain. Shit. But, exactly. Like, who fouled you? He did. Them motherfuckers. And guess what they'll call? Foul on 30.
Starting point is 01:07:59 Yeah, I was like, hey, hey, you know, a player do that shit and win. I'm like, I'm not going to complain. But, exactly. Like, who fouled you? He did. Them motherfuckers. And guess what they'll call? Foul on 30. Yeah, it was like, hey, hey, you know, a player do that shit and win.
Starting point is 01:08:10 Hey, did I foul you? Yes. You think I'm going to say no, show the ref up like he? No. Yes. So, Sheed, you got a new show with Underdog Fantasy. You joined the forces with internet icon Tyler I.M. Glad to be part of the family.
Starting point is 01:08:26 For the Sheed and Tyler show, premiering early 2024. So, let's see what this new show is all about. Glad to be part of the family. What? Oregon. Huh? Weed. Yeah?
Starting point is 01:08:35 Weed. What? What? Get out. Ready to dance. This is Sheed and Tyler. That's Sheed. I'm Tyler.
Starting point is 01:08:44 Why are we here? We're not going to be like any other podcast out there, any other show out there. Put a new kink in the game. Like what? Like what's going to make us different? I feel like we're sitting on a couch like other people. Fuck you, dude.

Starting point is 01:09:16 as the show gets ready to launch early 2024. Underdog family's growing. You guys dropping that, the link? Put the link in the show. We like the new death row for basketball, huh? No, I'm pointing at you cuz you got the rank contact to the white folks Who got the links? And I'm just a solo see you got the break you got the direct contact
Starting point is 01:09:40 Well, you know I speed out and you'll speed out. I mean? Every day we are one day closer to getting packed up. Today is not that day, though. So like I said, we can't wait for that. And we have a special clip where you get the lowdown on what happened after your legendary both teams played hard press conference during the Blazers' 2003 first-round matchup against the Mavs. I think that's after you went down 0-3, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:03 Okay, series went 7, but let's take a look at that clip What was your first interaction with David Stern? He really fucked with me. I tried a black ball my both teams play hard God bless and good night statements both teams play hard both teams play hard God bless and good night my man Bob Witsit coached um,, Paul, and David Stern is all on conference call. So I asked him, what do you want me to say? Have your secretary write up a dictation on what you want me to say. So, you know, him and I just tit for tat going back and forth. So then, you know, he blurts out, hey, y'all don't tear up his contract.
Starting point is 01:10:37 It's going to be bad for y'all in the next few drafts. Oh, he said it to everybody. And yeah, bro, like, I couldn't believe it. I love that they used the frozen envelope photo for Dave Rescuer. The frozen envelope? We used it for the frozen envelope. Oh, that's how they knew which one it was.
Starting point is 01:10:53 It was colder than everything else. That's the legend, Gil, okay? Is that the New York nickel? I would like an NBA credential once in my life. Is that the New York nickel? Yeah, I think so. I think that's that photo. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:03 But, uh, we all saw that. You talked about the call. But what happened after that conference call? Did you feel like the Blazers did anything shady or the league did anything shady following that whole situation? No. No, actually, at that time, they didn't. You know, rest in peace, Paul Allen. That's my guy. He just pretty much reiterated to me that they weren't going to tear my contract and that we're gonna that he was on my side with this because he knew with some some BS overall because again we're the only professional show in town and, you got eight beat writers who follows everywhere.
Starting point is 01:11:50 Out of the eight beat writers, only like one or two who would report everything that was said. And then the rest of them, they trying to write this and write that to get out the small town area reporting to go to a big city like LA, Chicago, New York, Dallas, something like that. So if I write something negative, then, oh man, I'm going to get the views. And this one pretty much back when links first started to be popular, oh, if I get this link hit and this and that. But they call this jailblazers who got locked up like as you as you mentioned earlier they wanted to call you a thug you ain't never been to jail you know i'm saying you ain't never you ain't never had no restraint orders no police
Starting point is 01:12:37 reports all this other stuff you know i'm saying so that's how i felt ain't nobody on our squad go to jail ain't nobody on our squad you know do this do that to be uh embarrassment but they just did it because okay we got a couple speeding tickets some parking tickets okay but it was nothing major it was nothing outside of what no other person did on that team i mean not on the team the team, but in public. And here it is. So, what rhymes with trail? Jail. So, that whole jailblazers
Starting point is 01:13:12 thing, that's how that started with the whole negative media and it stuck with the country. So now, if, let's just say we're all, we didn't play ball. We all was in the media. So'm on the east coast you in midwest you on the west coast so if you got some problems and we all homies now you got a problem with this
Starting point is 01:13:33 one player on the west coast oh yeah he's an asshole this and that well when he comes to the midwest and the east coast we gonna give him problems because you fucking with my guy. And that's pretty much how that whole situation was with the media out there, except for maybe one or two people. They're going off of negativity, or they went off of negativity to try to advance their career. But as a player, we had the town like this. The town was 50-50 with us.
Starting point is 01:14:05 We're in Portland. Half of them liked us. Half of them thought we believe in the papers, was the thugs and all of this and that. But no, low key, bottom line, at the end of the day, motherfucker, we winning games. Like, you know, the damn Shaq and damn Kobe, they was the only motherfuckers in our way. But of course, you know, they were great players that they are, and it happened.
Starting point is 01:14:32 Yeah, it went from the jailblazers to the thuggets. The thuggets. Trust me. It's tough. And then none of us get drunk. You're, yo, you remember, you remember the, because this wasn't, we wasn't on TV. So before it was a malice in the palace, it was Golden State versus Blades. His shot.
Starting point is 01:15:03 You were telling me about that. Yeah, the Rasheed shot. You were telling me about that. Yeah, the Rasheed shot. Turnaround jumper that started a whole melee. I remember that to this day. Hilarious. See, what do you remember from that moment? Oh, we was going back and forth with him. So it came down to the last possession.
Starting point is 01:15:27 They called my number turn four and four so i had to rock and and i i know y'all remember because y'all was in a league at this time too i can't remember the brother's name but they sat right there across from the warriors bench yes like the last maybe four or five seats. Yes, yes, yes. I'm going back and forth with them all night. Turn four, they call my number. As soon as I turn, hit the shot, that's when Bonzi and Chris Mills got into it. And they started shoving and pushing
Starting point is 01:16:03 and grabbing and tugging each other's jerseys and all that. And it was like baseball, it just cleared. It was hilarious. We had fans throwing shit at us and all this shit. And man, this one fan did clock me though. He threw a drink at me. And that shit was like uh i felt like arsenio in in coming to america when old dude threw the shake on him i mean eddie when old dude threw the shake on me he was like that's how i do drink hit me and i tried to go up in the stands and everything i had cats tugging at my waist yeah man i had people on the stands. They was fighting the people. Oh, hey, look. Yeah, that was the malice
Starting point is 01:16:48 before the palace right there. That's what I said. It was... That one was wild. And so, no, this one made it wild for real. You get to sit because you're on the bus. On the bus. Okay, yeah. So, you know, everybody, you know... I was there. Tell her. I heard.
Starting point is 01:17:03 Team security, I mean, on both sides. And the arena security, they made sure everything was cool. All right, bet. So, you know, we go in, and after the game, had a coach meet and this and that, blah, blah, blah. So we, you know, shower up and do the media, this and that. Boom, bang, go out, and, you know, you speak to your family, friends that came to the game, this and that.
Starting point is 01:17:29 So as we getting on the bus, it's like, we's the last couple last dudes on so y'all know how it was at that time when you leave in the arena on a visitor's locker room you only got about 50 paces to you outside at the bus so we all on there and we pulling out and as they slide the gate back, the security slide the gate back to let the buses go. Man, before we left the line, it was like two, three cars that pulled in front of us
Starting point is 01:17:57 that didn't move. And old boy hopped out and was like, yeah, talk all that shit now. What the fuck y'all want? This and that. Da-da-da-da-da-da-da. And we like, and team security like, yeah, don't y'all get off the bus.
Starting point is 01:18:09 They're not. You know, don't y'all do nothing. This and that. We was like, yeah, you know. So, man, it was crazy how that whole thing went down. But it was resolved by a couple of phone calls. Yeah. Because, you know, at that time,
Starting point is 01:18:25 Chris was supposed to have been, you know, this and that. Mm-hmm. And so we made some calls. I'm not, I ain't going to put people Oh, no, you know,
Starting point is 01:18:34 we know, those that know, know, trust me. So, you know, made a couple calls to some OGs. Yo, man, get this nigga
Starting point is 01:18:41 from the fuck up out of here, man. You know, we trying to go ahead. This going to be a whole thing now because it's federal. You talking about dealing with a billion-dollar business, the NBA. Like, man, get this motherfucker out of here. And a couple calls was made, this and that, and that shit got squashed. Yeah, it got squashed for y'all, not me.
Starting point is 01:19:01 I got my ass whooped the whole year. From that one moment? Yeah, because I wouldn't let it go. I wouldn't let it, oh, you talking to me like that, but you ain't saying it to Bonzi. Oh, my God. You talking about ass whooping this boy. Hey, listen, he
Starting point is 01:19:19 didn't touch y'all, no, but I got whatever he was trying to get at Bonzi, he gave that shit to me. So, we got some video of that Y'all know but I got the whatever he was trying to get a So we got some video That game so for the audience out there so they can all do look this used to be HD back in those day Bucket oh, I don't say that ain't the play. Oh Oh, God damn it. And look. Chris and Bonzi.
Starting point is 01:19:52 He hasn't even already. Chris and Bonzi already. Bonzi, hold up. I can't let him jump on my young boy. Who holding Rube back? And Tony O'Daniel holding Rube back. You're blocking AD. No, no, no. I had to tear.
Starting point is 01:20:05 Hey, look. Hey, look. No, no, no. I had to tear. Hey, look. Hey, look. Yeah. He was crazy. Lucky they held the man-child back. No, no. Antonio Daniels, lucky he held that. What's so funny is because I see, like, oh, shit.
Starting point is 01:20:18 Crazy. So I had to pick up the chair, like, come on. We got the same agent, bro. We got the same agent. We got the same agent. We got the same agent, bro Now Rube got that different strength, you know, he beeline right is like it was like the first person he seen with a white uniform He's like and I was like it was Jason Richard. No, we got to say Rude Patterson
Starting point is 01:20:40 That's my guy. He wanted them cats. I want him on my team Yeah, if it comes down to a scuffle a street fight them cats. I want him on my team. Yeah, if it comes down to a scuffle a street fight What I want him on my team. Oh, yeah, so did Dan Fagan ever tell you to serve by room passion? Well, it's war Shit, so they having a so, you know, he's coming into the draft Mm-hmm, and he's talking about you know, which agent so all these agents tell him, you know, he's gonna be a lottery pick, right? So he's like yeah a lottery pick. Right? So he's like, yeah, so they're at the bar. No, he said they're not at the bar.
Starting point is 01:21:09 Wherever they are, they're just walking and talking. He's like, yeah, you know. He's like, so what do you think I'm gonna be drafted? He said, to be honest with you, end of the first round, second round. And Reuben Patterson said, nah, I'm a lottery. Dan was like, you're not a lottery pick. Right, he's said nah I'm a lottery Dan was like you're not a lottery pick right he's like I'm a lottery pick he's like Ruben's like I am a lottery pick Dan was like no you're not he said
Starting point is 01:21:33 Ruben just hit him he said Ruben hit him right Dan tried to like whoop he said said grabbed him rasset on him beating on him. He said yo I'm trying to flip him over. He said I've never felt strength like this ever in my life It felt like five people was on me. Yeah, he said I'm trying to get him off of Rubik's like hitting him And then he said he said put his hand on like he fucking King Kong. He's a man. He's a He's my agent Cuz you honest now, let's go get a beer. He's a man of mine.
Starting point is 01:22:09 He said, I'm sitting here like, what? Hey, bro. The beer said I got beat up. I'll tell y'all this one story about Rude next time I come back. All right. Tomorrow? You hear tomorrow, dude. That is tomorrow. You honorable men, we're taking you at your word.
Starting point is 01:22:28 Let me mark it in here right now. The slam heard around the world. Z-Bo. I ain't... Yeah. Listen, man. That shit was... Listen, yeah, but...
Starting point is 01:22:40 Remember, I got there in Vegas, so... I got there in Vegas, so I know all the stories. Yeah, Rube. He only heard a little bit about it. He wasn't there. So I'm in high school getting ready. I just signed with Cincinnati. Rube was an independent junior college with one of my former high school teammates.
Starting point is 01:22:59 So you hear a story like dude in junior college, like he's destroying junior college. I'm thinking, this motherfucker seven foot, 290. You hear how strong this motherfucker is? Unstoppable. What he doing in junior college? Like this motherfucker here, like man, y'all got to see this nigga, Reuben Patterson play, man. So we, so come for, I signed for it and he come to Cincinnati later.
Starting point is 01:23:21 I ain't like, man, Reuben Patterson come to Cincinnati? Oh, this thing got Danny over already? And third I meet I'm like then he started talking I'm like This we all talking about But but as far as strength Like pure like and then you know, he already being strong and you're sitting and we eat wait the Cincinnati So you feed him waste for two years? Mm-hmm, and he get to the league and yeah bro run through a brick wall yeah no room strong as hell oh yeah he's one of them cat if I was a coach
Starting point is 01:23:53 he's one of them cats I have on my team so they couldn't be me training camp with us with the Nuggets. He bring him training cap and all that. Rube is outplaying everybody. You know, if you judging this shit honestly, and it ain't about skill, to your point, yeah, give me Rube Patterson, give me Reggie Evans, give me them all day. Rube is in there destroying shit. Of course, he taking the match up every day. I want to guard Melo. Every day. Rube is in a destroying shit. Of course, he taking the match up every day.
Starting point is 01:24:25 I want to guard Melo. Every day. Because Melo's going, but he actually making it. Give him the preseason. Rube playing his ass off. So they make the decision to cut him. They want to bring me into the meeting because they know how. No, because I had already told him, to your point,
Starting point is 01:24:42 you know, before, like, man, y'all cutting people can fucking help us Damn, what a skill like he can help us around this bitch Put a team together just shit. We talking about the other day right? You ain't put the team guys just accumulate talent. Mm-hmm So they want to bring me in it's softened to blow that they finna cutting Like sit me in there while it's embarrassing, it's embarrassing to have another teammate in there while you're getting cut. Yes, yeah. But they trying to smooth it over for me so I don't lose my shit. They trying to get somebody to hold him back.
Starting point is 01:25:12 Yeah. They here. Hey, man. They not rude. Yeah, he... College. That bitch word. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:25:21 Playing pickup. Former players come back, we hooping. No, they used to come back and fuck us up during practice. Hugs used to let them just do whatever to us in practice. So now it's just summertime. Ain't no coaches in there now. One of the former players get to talking that shit. Da-da-da-da, bitch this.
Starting point is 01:25:40 Ru, don't call me another bitch, dog. Go down a few more, bitch this. Listen, man, I'm going to tell you again, dog. Don't call me another bitch, That they'll go down a few more bitch. Listen, I'm gonna tell you again. Don't call me another bitch man He got in bit listen dog Rube hit him. It sound like a gunshot in that bitch fire They fighting you tried to do try to grab rude Ripped his fucking shirt off Rube pull back rip the shirt off his back
Starting point is 01:26:06 That bitch straight off.ube pulled back, ripped his shirt off his back ripped that bitch straight off I was like damn he threw him in the mud bring away shirt he tried to grab Rube Rube just took like a real hard step back and just ripped that let him just, I was like yo broke dude's jaw
Starting point is 01:26:22 when he hit him the way it sounded cause he didn't hit him like When he hit him, the way it sounded, because he didn't hit him like this. He hit him like that. Broke his jaw. Man, they fighting all day. He spitting blood at Rube and all kind of shit, though. Listen, yo.
Starting point is 01:26:35 That's an animal, though. I'm telling you. Look. Hey, man. The Kobe stopper, which was a lie. Kobe stopper. Kobe stopper. It was a lot Buzzing Kobe bus room We wouldn't know
Starting point is 01:26:55 You got it Oh, yeah, he lowers shit too and oh, yeah Oh, we do it after we turn the mics off I did I know about it Instead of second go that's a strong-ass motherfucker. Yeah, we're gonna lie to the viewers. We'all can hear it. See, that shit has Z-Bo come up. See, his ass right around the corner. Foul. That's foul. His ass right around the corner.
Starting point is 01:27:31 So, she don't want to get your thoughts on this, though. The CP3, Scott Foster beef, been well documented throughout the years. What do you think about that CP3 and Scott Foster situation? And should Foster be allowed to officiate any more CP3 games? I don't think he should because that's bad for business, number one. But number two, I didn't hear until the other day through some friends the reason why that beef is a beef.
Starting point is 01:27:56 And I got to say for that, I'm on the side of Chris Paul. I will beat your motherfucking ass Because now you taking it beyond basketball It didn't happen on the court It was some shit that happened off the court. Oh Yeah, yeah, we talked about on the show last week as we'd interview CP three a few years ago And after the interview, you kind of told us a little bit about what happened
Starting point is 01:28:23 Oh, yeah, obviously we sat on it out of respect. respect he brought it up so we just wanted to be able to help okay yeah again yeah that's what we said we did i ain't the type to say names where i heard where it came from this and that but yeah i'm with cp3 on that nigga you talk shit about my motherfucking kid i'm it's it's on i wish i had i wish I had a loose ball going your way out of bamboo on everything they get I'm a wipe out you had them the coaches and And the flag holders the the first down hold to be getting wiped out with football. Yeah. Oh Somebody got to go. Yes Towards ACL yesterday. Absolutely. The one thing about that the Chris Paul and Scott Foster thing that really should be
Starting point is 01:29:08 considered by the NBA is it started off with him telling Chris Paul inside the game that, hey, you know you've never won a playoff game with me reffing? That was the first thing he said to him. Like, one, as a ref, how the fuck do you know that? Yeah. Because I'm following him because it's a money game for me. But that's what I'm saying, the fact that that is even out there. Mm-hmm. Like, there's no point, that's what I said, there's no point in the NBA even trying
Starting point is 01:29:40 to hide it. Just, he's not allowed to do these games and let people start tracking that shit. We don't give a fuck at that point, but the fact that every time he's on the game, we already know it's going to be cheated. There's no way you can stop it. Because if he does make calls for CP, he's cheating.
Starting point is 01:30:00 Because he don't want to look like he's not making any calls for CP, so you're cheating. If you don't make no calls for CP, you're cheating. Right? So you lose with this man. Either way. Yeah, either way. So it's easy to just...
Starting point is 01:30:12 Damned if you don't. Get him off all CP games moving forward. There's only going to be a couple more years. We don't know. But let me just play devil's advocate for the league. And I don't support this opinion, but I just want to say it. Whenever it gets announced that Scott Foster's officiating a CP3 game, I would be curious to see what that viewership looks like,
Starting point is 01:30:31 because I know on social everybody's now excited about watching that game. Man, fuck the viewership. What's the bedline like? I can tell you what the bedline like. Because that's the biggest thing, like shit. The bedline is going for Foster. Absolutely. For sure. Like they shit. The bad line is going for Foster. Absolutely. For sure.
Starting point is 01:30:47 Like they're playing one-on-one. No, no, no. If it's, let's say, Golden State, if it's Golden State, let's say minus eight, whoever the other team is, they're going to take that plus. That. They're going to take the plus. Even if it's Golden State plus eight, right? Or let's say Milwaukee minus five.
Starting point is 01:31:08 You're going with Milwaukee minus five because Scott Foster holds a minus 11 and a half against Chris Paul. I know because I bet. But the way the Warriors are playing now, you can do that anyway. Right, if it's minus five, Scott, Scott Fowler, this is Gene. I'm taking it.
Starting point is 01:31:28 My bad. And that goes back to the thing where it was like the shouldn't be announced. No, it shouldn't be. You shouldn't know beforehand. They shouldn't know the referees before the game. Just show the fuck up and call you there. But my thing is, so when the whole whole Donny thing going down, right? Hmm, what do you call him Scott Foster after every game? I think more than a hundred you went all right
Starting point is 01:31:56 Right, let's be honest here man, it was a lone wolf Kmart He was the only guy They stopped my dude. Let's the only guy. Stop, my dude. Come on, man. Let's be honest. Tim was the only one to expose
Starting point is 01:32:12 a billion dollar business with illegal gambling. It was nobody else other than Tim Donahue. No way. That's wild. But the real story is you got to give credit to David
Starting point is 01:32:26 Well for squashing that shit right away for understanding because you know, so back it out of control So back then, you know the FBI Went to David. Yes, we I went to David and said these are The people that we're looking at. Yeah, these are the people we're going after Mm-hmm. Absolutely, you know David a businessman, just let me know. Keep me informed so I can make sure everyone knows we're going to work with you 100%. Yeah. So once he got
Starting point is 01:32:51 this list, I want everybody to just report that Donahue got caught. Donahue's got caught, y'all. Donahue's got caught. So when the wire went out, Donahue's gotten caught, y'all. Donahue's got caught. So when the wire went out, Donahue is working with the feds. The lone wolf. Yep, so what ends up happening is you working with him,
Starting point is 01:33:14 like, oh, nah, you caught. End call. End call. So you just allowed him to get caught by himself because now they can't tap the phones and get everybody recorded. Well, it's the same way they did. Gun is last. We all in the car together. The candle of 1901 with the World Series and all of that.
Starting point is 01:33:31 Right side. Right side, okay. Right side. Same thing. You know what I'm saying? But, yeah, we all know, like, come on, dude. There is no one person that's going to bring down a billion-dollar business.
Starting point is 01:33:47 There's no way you can be a ref by yourself doing what you're doing. Oh, the funny shit about it? Yeah. So during that whole time, right, after I told you I got the call when I was out in the middle of the fucking ocean and just watching shit how it went over the next like two three years uh one of the cheating ass refs at that time a couple years after he was the sec ref he went to college it was like it was like two or three of them referees that went down to college and all of a sudden now they in a big 10 sec and the pack 12 Like, yeah, I know who you are.
Starting point is 01:34:26 Seeing you on TV. I know who you are. Just if we, without any evidence, if we're talking to each other about who gonna give you a tech first, the fuck else we talking about?
Starting point is 01:34:42 You know what I mean? If we're coming together to say, hey, you know, let's dinner tonight. Who going to give him a tech first? Yeah. If we're comfortable saying that with each other, we're not comfortable saying what the spread is, what we got on the over.
Starting point is 01:34:56 I'm just being honest right here. Let's just keep it just real. And it's the same crew. Right. It's the same crew. Now you got some of them guys, they want to be analysts for NBA TV, referee analysts for NBA TV, ESPN, you know, when they do the afternoon games, the big games and all that shit.
Starting point is 01:35:15 So he's the same cheating-ass motherfucking student. Now, who retires, like, you know, outside of health, who retires from a billion-dollar company when I'm making six figures? Who retires after, like, 16 or 17 years? You're not a player. You ain't got no health issues. You ain't got no knee problems, no ankle problems, no back problems. Who retires? And you become an analyst of NBA referees.
Starting point is 01:35:46 You become a director of NBA referees. Let me the fuck out of here, dog. Just in case. Get these guys off them streets. How's the Wi-Fi doing, everybody? You know our shit about to start getting jittery in a second.
Starting point is 01:36:00 This is shit. So I told y'all the story the other day that I got kicked out for clapping, right? Listen, this is real shit. So I told y'all the story the other day that I got kicked out for clapping, right? Listen, this is real shit. So we playing in Denver. We playing the Bobcats at the time. Jared Wallace runs J.R. over, right? Hit J.R. hard as shit.
Starting point is 01:36:15 Boom. Call a block. J.R. get up. He laying on the ground like kicking. Fucking Kenny Mauer like, get up, get up. I'm like, God damn, Kenny, give him a minute. That's what get up. I'm like, God damn, Kenny, give him a minute. That's what I said. Like, God damn, Kenny, give him a minute.
Starting point is 01:36:29 J.R. get up. He give me a text for saying, God damn, Kenny, give him a minute. The man get up, got a big ass knot, right? He holding his shit, going to the sideline. He go shoot the tech they miss I don't say shit but it's a sarcastic clap mm-hmm
Starting point is 01:36:54 this motherfucker kicked me out of the game though of course I lose it mm-hmm two days later we playing in Minnesota. Guess who's the ref? Kenny Mauer. Kenny fucking Mauer. Want to be Pat Riley. Come up to me before the game trying to talk to me. Of course.
Starting point is 01:37:16 Off the top. Before the ball go up. I done lost it. Yeah. Now you know how the game's going to go. Yep. I'm going to get two quick ones. Sit out for the rest of the first quarter.
Starting point is 01:37:32 Now it's like, and then behold. Yep. It doesn't happen. Yes. It's a hard play out. Been there, done that. That's that bullshit, man. The league should do a better job in money. Because you heard the fucking take, us he didn't turn the mic off But you heard exactly what I said to him cuz y'all call me after the game
Starting point is 01:37:50 Mm-hmm What you calling me for you already know what he said you already know what happened So what the fuck you calling me for it? Oh, you're calling me so it can look good on the report. Absolutely Find me Oh, you're calling me so it can look good on the report. Absolutely. For what? You already done fined me, suspended me, ejected me, all that other shit that come with motherfucking money. That one cost me $35. What's wrong with y'all? Yo, failure to be the court of the timely fashion,
Starting point is 01:38:22 verbal abuse of a game official. Hey, listen. Oh, yeah, they were racking that shit on. They didn't even give me no excuse. At least they gave you an excuse. Oh, that's what they put on the fine thing. That's what they put on the paper. Ah, man.
Starting point is 01:38:35 Oh, yeah, when I got my motherfucking envelope, I got my goddamn slip at the, damn. 35? Yeah. Ooh. Man, listen. I used to give a motherfucker I used to give the Blazers and Told them to hold it a blank check for the league. I knew I was Already knew that so the thing is I was telling people right and this how we
Starting point is 01:39:01 How smart he is and I smell like trust me if the motherfucker takes for going for what they're going for now Ain't no way in hell. He would have been getting that many. Oh, I can take that shit, right? Cuz I know But even if they purpose But even if they purposely doing it if I $500 or $500. I know $500 or $500. You want to hear what the fuck I got to say for $500? $500. I'm going to lose you if you don't hear my mouth for $500. So basically, Draymond technically owns the record.
Starting point is 01:39:32 Yes. Because back then it was only $500. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? Now you get to spend it for way more. So just imagine, though. If the motherfuckers was $2,500 a pop back then. Oh. For $500, I'm going to get this. was 2,500 a pop back then. Oh.
Starting point is 01:39:45 For 500, I'm going to get this. For 1,100, oh, I get to call you out like your name and go get me a drink and a shower early. Oh, so Draymond, you tripping. Hey, I ain't going to get me a shower early. But that money get free. Couple LBs. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:40:02 Yo, hey, you know what I'm saying? That fire, because... Yeah, fire, it was... $500. You dig, yeah. Yeah, because that's what we sell. Ain't no $500. That's like...
Starting point is 01:40:10 I take that, I eat that. I take that. I eat that $500. $500. I eat that. Yeah. Now it all makes sense. Yeah, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:40:17 Like, that's what it was. And we're going to take that. For me to, for me to tell you that you full of shit and you cheating out here, you motherfucker, you... You won't hear me. You won't hear me. You won't hear me for $500. For the very low price of $500. For the very low price.
Starting point is 01:40:28 Very low price. I get to call you out your name. Yeah. That actually is worth it. When y'all present it like that, it makes sense. I mean, we playing the Golden State, right? And they didn't have, like, the suspension rules for the certain, you know, the ejection. All that shit.
Starting point is 01:40:41 I don't know if you was in Washington yet. We playing in Golden State. And Hayward worked with me. You know, he's a in Washington. Yeah, we playing in Golden State. And Hayward worked with me. You know, he's a former player. Oh, Hayward. He said something on the baseline. Oh, you motherfuckers ain't going to be talking to me like that out here. Oh, and I opened up on it.
Starting point is 01:40:56 And the player from the Warriors was like, that was all young, too. And they was like, he can talk to him that way? Like, man, you said that to him? I was like yeah man fuck him he's standing right there. I'm like no he said what he wanted to. I went right over to the bench and I told Jim here about it. I said hey we got one more time to say something out here crazy. They're like what'd he say? I said
Starting point is 01:41:17 he got one more time. Your former player. But he was a former player. Former player so you're going yeah that's that's, no, no, no. Just because you put some stripes on, oh, no, buddy. So now you believe in them. Yeah, nah. When you was on our side as the player, you know what I'm saying,
Starting point is 01:41:35 you was giving them grief and shit, too, because he was on a good team in Indiana. Reggie, Dale, Rick Smith, you know, that whole squad. Work was a good dude.. Work was a good dude. Workman was a good dude. Yeah, absolutely. But, hey, Woody, now you a ref? Hey, nah.
Starting point is 01:41:50 Hey, Woody. Now I can talk to you. I can really say something to you because you know where the fuck I'm coming from. Absolutely. Shit, I'm saying. Motherfucker ain't going to be talking to me like that. I talk ass.
Starting point is 01:42:01 Who the hell are you talking to? Man, listen. Let's change the subject a little bit. Me like that I can't gasp. Are you talking to? Let's change the subject a little bit so she'd on the show We've talked a lot about a bunch of different things But one of those things is offseason workouts training and learning the game from certain players So would you ever pay? $50,000 to learn the game from a Hall of Fame level big man, perhaps from Nigeria And in this time in age... Dream. Yes, yes. In this time in age,
Starting point is 01:42:29 if I was that Hall of Fame player charging the young fellas, yes, I would. You would do it. Let me look into the camera. Yes, I would. You guys can give me a call. I am Sheed on Instagram. Hey, trust me. I will teach you offense and defense so when we get my PSA that
Starting point is 01:42:48 was my PSA see what are we getting for that 50 oh that oh man you're gonna get both sides of the game you know I'm saying you're gonna get you're gonna get a lot of talking for the first two days because now you got to see where their mental is at but also no you're gonna get both sides of the game because every guy ain't with it. You know, everybody say, oh, I want to work out. Oh, I want to do this. I want to do that. But the work ethic shows you.
Starting point is 01:43:12 No, that's why for certain high school and collegiate players I work out, I don't charge. Because now I got the freedom to be like, okay, let's work. If you're not working, fuck out of here. Come on. Bring that next dude. So now you're not wasting your money, your mom or dad or agent, whoever, not wasting their money. No, go ahead. You're not trying to work.
Starting point is 01:43:36 Come on, let's get it. Have you had to do that? I don't want to know players' names, but okay. I did. I started working with certain young people because um the work ethic wasn't there and now you're wasting my fucking time because you want to waste my time he could be in the gym wanting to get good time and i know he works hard you know i'm saying so that's that's how it goes and it's just a shame that like aau fucked this whole game up in my opinion and i used to coach a you but why do you feel
Starting point is 01:44:05 like that's the case because they just pamper you got a lot of a you coaches out here who one don't know the game two don't know their players three don't know how to coach before if I got a good player I'm gonna ride that coattail to try to get with him or her to the WNBA or the NBA to success. So now I'm telling him or her everything that they need to hear. Hey, no, you ain't, fuck all that passing with them. Shoot that shit, man.
Starting point is 01:44:31 You know what you could do. Shoot that shit. That's why they got you on the team. I done heard it all. So, I mean, I tried as an AAU coach slash parent. Look, what y'all got to say, say that shit now
Starting point is 01:44:44 because I don't want to hear that shit telling your son or your daughter man shoot that you coming off the screen shoot that you wide open hey we ain't going we we learning basketball here i care about these kids i'm spending my own money i'm not asking parents for nothing. When I ran AU, I didn't ask parents for nothing. Work out certain people, I'm not asking parents for nothing. I'm spending my own time and money because I believe that your son or daughter has that talent
Starting point is 01:45:13 to be able to go on. Only thing that I ask, if they turn pro, y'all go ahead and reach back the same way. That's my only charge. That's it. Other than that, man, yeah. Fuck all that AU shit. Look, I'm fucking... Look, on some real shit. Let's get a proper... This man got his name
Starting point is 01:45:35 on these motherfucking Off-Whites. Let's fuck all that, man. I didn't notice that. Yeah, that shit gangsta, my nigga. Nah, that was by mistake. Nah, nah. Well, fuck, whatever it was... It's the prototype. It's gangsta They golf they golf. Huh? They golf. What?
Starting point is 01:45:49 golf shoes If you want them to be. They look like about a size 13. No, I'm just talking about the bottom If you want them to be they're 14, bitch Oh damn it. Motherfucker yeah I hear you now Yeah Uh oh, trigger word. Hey, hey, hey,, no, that's going back to when we was playing, yo. He was one of the few cats that used to tease me about my feet size, right? So playing ball, I wore 13 because I don't like my foot to slide.
Starting point is 01:46:16 And my relaxing shoes are 14. So these are 14. So that's why he just said the 13 remark. How the fuck you 7 feet 7'1 with a 13 in? Oh, my feet small. They're just smaller than mine. I ain't playing in 13. I'm like, yo.
Starting point is 01:46:29 That's the same thing. Played in 13s because I don't want my foot to slide. I played in 13s. Tore all these nails up. Yeah, I played in 14s. All these was dark black. See, I played in 14s. I just put on my foot.
Starting point is 01:46:39 Nails falling off. I got a new one. Yeah, they on the stage. Rebirth. Yeah. Multiple pair of socks. I played in 14s, though. Yeah, dawg. Oh, you stuffed them socks I played in 14 though. Yeah, you know you you stuffed them, but yes, they they are 14 This is a relaxing shoot area. That's name mark Have your name on us gangster. Thank you much. Yeah. Well you get to name on any shoe, you know with the Nike ID
Starting point is 01:47:00 John But they said now fuck all that they said those Yeah, no, they ain't sending out fuck all that. They send those. Yeah, nah, it ain't like that. That's the only one. You shot a lot of these folks.
Starting point is 01:47:10 Off-white. No damn way, you can't order these. Everybody ain't getting that, trust me. So, couple more questions for you, but,
Starting point is 01:47:17 you know, on this show, we love to get flowers. So, who's a player from your era that you feel like doesn't get the love they deserve? Oh,
Starting point is 01:47:23 wow, shit, damn. I gotta think about that one. Because it was so many good, like, overall basketball dudes, man, like, that got the wrong impression from the media or even from the fan base themselves.
Starting point is 01:47:44 I would say, for me, I would definitely give my flowers to my guy J. Ryder, J.R. Ryder. As much as they want to talk shit about him and the type of player that he was, at the end of the day, score. At the end of the day, a baller. End of the day, for a lot of the basketball fans out here, they call MJ the GOAT. MJ respected him. And I seen that one night. I was like, man, you know, I'm talking shit to MJ. Like, yeah, man, y'all can't stop us. This and us. You better get little ass robbing off of me and this and that. And Mike gave me that look like,
Starting point is 01:48:31 all right now, don't let me get started. I don't give a fuck if you get started or not, man. Let's go. Let's get it. I'm talking shit. Jay Ryder like, hey, she come down. Stop that. Stop that. Stop that.
Starting point is 01:48:47 You ain't got to guard this motherfucker. I do. I got you, Jay, man. Fuck that. No, stop that. But no, I would say Jay Ryder, man, like him, for me overall, and I've seen his from the beginning to the end and, and K-Mart, I know you probably can tell you was there too. Um, guy who don't get enough flowers for me, dog is Jermaine O'Neal like on the court. Oh man. J O five. He don't get enough flowers for me. You know, I seen his work ethic from the time he came into the league
Starting point is 01:49:28 as a scrawny little kid, but he had the fire. He had that same passion and heart that we got. You know what I'm saying? He just didn't have the muscle. But, man, he put the muscle on. I seen young boy, he was in a gym. Before I got to practice, he was in a gym. When I left practice, as far as basketball heads or cats who know basketball knowledge about certain games,
Starting point is 01:49:56 he don't get enough flowers, man. They always want to talk about Tim Duncan, KG, or myself, but, man, no. It was a whole lot of other power forwards that I played against that definitely motherfuckers. This dude right here, that wasn't no cakewalk playing against this motherfucker. Antonio McDyess wasn't a cakewalk.
Starting point is 01:50:18 C-Web wasn't a cakewalk. Talk on it. Talk on it. And this is all during our era, but out of all that, nobody really mentioned Jermaine, man, and it's like, shit, only thing he didn't do was shoot threes.
Starting point is 01:50:34 You know, because of course he was a traditional big, you know, I'm going to go 15 feet and in. Post moves, defender, I think at one time he might have led the league in blocks or some shit like that. Like, dog, he needed it. No, JL worked his ass off, man, to become an all-star.
Starting point is 01:50:50 Multi-year, multi-time all-star. Man. That's my guy. Man. So my second all-star, my second all-star, 05, 06, I'm averaging 29 a game. So I'm fourth or third in NBA scoring. So that's when the NBA decided to go with that Pistons bullshit. Y'all.
Starting point is 01:51:13 What? Y'all. When they put all four of y'all in. Right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know what you're talking about. I wasn't there. It wasn't me.
Starting point is 01:51:24 So I'm sitting here like, all right, cool, that's cool. Winning, cool. We fifth, yeah. I don't know what you're talking about. I wasn't there. It wasn't me. Yeah. So I'm sitting here like, all right, cool. That's cool. Winning, cool. We fifth, good. Right? And then they skipped me and then went with five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, and scoring. And then Paul Pierce was in there. His team was last.
Starting point is 01:51:42 They were in there last. And Chris Bosh. I'm like, what the fuck? How is this happening? Because it went by positions. I didn't understand that. So I didn't make the all-star game. And then J.O. was hurt.
Starting point is 01:51:54 So they had a replacement. So I became the replacement player. And every time I see J.O., hey, man, big bro. Hey, man, thank you for getting hurt, baby. I don't know if you playing this. Hey man, thank you, baby. This is like both ours. Nah, you know me and J.O. battled out there at Eastman before I left. So yeah, my first playoff series against him in Indiana, the five games at first, we bumped.
Starting point is 01:52:24 We had a good bump for them five games. Man, I wish you wouldn't have left, dog, on everything because once I got to the East, you were still with Jersey. J.O. was with Indiana. And it was like, at the time in the East, there wasn't no other power forward. All the other power forwards was on the West. Everybody's like, dog, oh, man. Oh, no, power forward. All the other power forwards was on the West. Everybody's like, oh, man.
Starting point is 01:52:47 I know. They ain't got to tell me, Jack. We talked about it on the show. I went from one, two, three out here to when I go out West, I'm starting out at six. Word, yo. Like, I'm starting out off top. He said off top.
Starting point is 01:53:02 When I signed with Denver, I was the sixth best power forward off Denver. Yo, I just signed a max deal and I'm the sixth. Man. So, you know, man, when he came out to the East, me and J.O. was fucking destroying the East. That was it. That was it. It wasn't no other power forwards.
Starting point is 01:53:25 Yeah, that was doing well. You had some other bigs. I think at that time you had Zoe at the five, but that was more traditional where the fives were guarding fives who were more methodical with their moves. And then if you didn't have an athletic power forward, shit.
Starting point is 01:53:41 So this is how crazy shit is, right? His first game in Atlanta. His first how crazy shit is, right? His first game in Atlanta. First only game in Atlanta, right? You played against us in Jersey. Yep. Then he lead that motherfucker and go to... He tell me during the game, oh no, I ain't going to be in this motherfucker tomorrow, man. I'm leaving tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:53:59 He's leaving tomorrow. Who was the five? Was it Jason Coll or you got arrested? Yep. Jay Collin. I opened up. This motherfucker just do this. I swing that bitch.
Starting point is 01:54:11 He just let me go. Man, I put that thing on Jay. No, no, no. He just like, shit, good done, K-Mart. Just run his ass back on D. I'm like, yo, this motherfucker. Good done, K-Mart. Yo.
Starting point is 01:54:22 He said, shit, I ain't going to be here tomorrow. No way. I ain't going to be here tomorrow. No. I ain't going to be here tomorrow no way. Yeah, I was having fun, man. It was me, Steve Jack, and the Jet J Terry. Jet J, yeah. Oh, man, shit, I was having fun. That's when we had a young Boris Diao before he went to San Antonio. And Joe Prisbilla.
Starting point is 01:54:43 Oh, that was the five. Yeah, he was our five, Joe Prisbilla., that was the five. Yeah, he's our five Joel Chris Bella Oh, yes before Joe Johnson got there. Oh wait before yeah, that was yeah Yeah, so y'all played a tense to get a ton against each other, but let's talk about When y'all play with each other 2012 2013 season with the Knicks and I just want to talk about that squad You got a roster full of legends on that squad. So K-Mart, you were there. Mello, J.R. Smith, Tyson Chandler. Let me go to the bathroom, y'all,
Starting point is 01:55:10 before we keep it going. Where's the bathroom at? Oh, right there. Do you think we got it? Grab your mic pack. Grab your mic pack. We good. We going to keep it going.
Starting point is 01:55:17 We going to keep it going. Oh, man. Oh, I just thought, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Put my shirt on you. And make sure we mute the mic so nobody at home... Who's the next shopping?
Starting point is 01:55:27 Ladies and gentlemen, this is a black show. We do black things. We come back to it. We come back to it. What's the next time? Gotta make some water. I'm gonna say that one for tomorrow
Starting point is 01:55:34 because we gotta get in-depth on it. Okay. We gotta really get in-depth on it. No, we had some names on that shit. J.Kid was there, myself, Sheed, Tyson, Mello. Ari. Ari. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:55:48 We had- Shump, Marcus, Camby, Kurt Thomas. Yeah, we had a bunch of old fuck bigs. Old bigs. Young Gods, young... Yeah, J. Kidd running this. Yeah, we had Pablo Prigioni. Y'all tell Sheed 130 I already know. We run long sometimes because this is what we do.
Starting point is 01:56:09 We know how to hold our water. Got to take her mind to other places. Yeah, no, that team was... Brandon be the funniest at that, so y'all don't see it, but he'll hop over while we're in the middle of discussion and just hit the couch real quick, come back. Like nothing happened, like a legend, but we got Sheed coming through. Wait, they said Joe Prusbilla
Starting point is 01:56:26 was the vanilla gorilla? Who put that in there? On my team. That's his nickname. Not to be confused with Gorilla Glue, Draymond Green. Yeah, we was...
Starting point is 01:56:40 Hey Sheed, what was your actual nickname? Are we filming right now? Yeah, we don't stop. What was your actual nickname? Are we filming right now? All right. We don't stop. What was your actual nickname? What, what? Your actual nickname.
Starting point is 01:56:51 In the league? Yeah. Roscoe. Dang, you didn't miss the ball, don't lie. That would have been. Oh, no, that wasn't, no. That didn't come to the end. Oh, to... No, that didn't come to the end. Oh, to the end.
Starting point is 01:57:07 That didn't come to the end. Yeah, no, my shit was rostered. Did you coin that? Ball, don't lie? Yeah. No. You didn't trademark that? No, you know why?
Starting point is 01:57:15 Because I didn't, because once you trademark shit like that, that's when motherfuckers stop saying it, i.e. when Pat Riley trademarked 3P. Yeah. They stopped saying it in a lot of sports. I.E., when Pat Riley trademarked three-peat. Yeah. They stopped saying it in a lot of sports. That's funny.
Starting point is 01:57:32 When people do trademark them because people are using it, and then they don't realize once you do it, no one uses it anymore. Because they can't. Yeah, because you can't. Like, hot girl summer. I was like, yeah, you're about to kill that. You're about to kill it, Megan. You're about to kill it. It's going to be done. It ain't going to stay no more because you're about to kill that. You're about to kill it, Megan. You're about to kill it.
Starting point is 01:57:46 It's going to be done. It ain't going to say it no more because you're going to want to charge for it. People can say it. They just can't put it on merchandise. It's just funny, though. I heard the shit in football. I heard the shit in football. Your guy one night said it.
Starting point is 01:58:08 Tony Romo said that he was commentating the game and uh I think the play went down like um it was the felonious flag on a pass interference and then like that very next play the quarterback threw an interception to the same he tried to throw it to the same receiver but that cornerback intercepted it, right? And Tony Roan was like, oh yeah, he's like, yeah, that's like the basketball phrase, yeah, the ball don't lie right there, went right back to him. I was like, oh shit, I'm like, ah, like yeah, we done blew up
Starting point is 01:58:36 now, like yeah. We made it. We made it. Alright, that's what's up. So who gave you, Roscoe the nickname, who gave you the Dirty 30 nickname as well? Well, oh wow She's like both my nicknames are Roscoe was given to me by Walt Williams Walt the Wizard legend
Starting point is 01:58:54 Hi, Sox You go ready that's good. And dirty 30 was given to me by my man Dave when I was in Carolina it was it was like maybe the was given to me by my man Dave when I was in Carolina. It was like maybe the second semester myself, I mean my freshman year. Okay. And he gave me the 30-30, and I was like,
Starting point is 01:59:17 all right, that's got to stick a little bit. All right, let me fuck with that. So before you had to go, you know, use the facilities, we were talking about just that 2012-2013 year with the Knicks and that illustrious crew of legends. So I mentioned again, we had Kmart, Mello, J.R. Smith, Tyson Chandler, Q. Rich, Jason Kidd, Amari, Shump, Marcus Canby, Kurt Thomas.
Starting point is 01:59:36 I think Prigioni was on there too. Pablo. Yeah, you had an elite crew there. So you came out of retirement to actually play on that squad So I just want to know from both y'all. What was that like obviously two former? Rivals going up against each other in the league to now be teammates on this same team with all these dynamic personalities, man I loved it. I mean we could beat these motherfuckers up and I had to get beat up Like shit when you're're going against certain players,
Starting point is 02:00:05 you know it's going to be war. You know what I'm saying? So to be thankful enough to have him, Marcus Camby, and Kurt Thomas on that team, like, those are my veterans now. No disrespect to Tyson or Amari, but, you know, we were the three older power forwards on there. So it was night in, night out, battling against these guys. So to actually play against them, I was like, I mean, play with them, I was like, all right, cool. Like, shit, that makes
Starting point is 02:00:38 the game easier. And then to play with J-Kid, that made it even more crazy because I played against J. Kidd in high school at the Beach Ball Classic in Myrtle Beach. I remember that. I got to know him, his family, and all of that stuff. So I've been knowing him since. But he joined the team. Pablo, with him having the resume that he did, coming from Argentina, winning gold medals, you know, busting USA guards' ass at that time when they won it.
Starting point is 02:01:10 Like, all right, like, this is, like, shit, this is a formidable team. Plus, it was the last time that, I think, at that moment, the Knicks had won, like, 50-plus games. The last time that they had been to the playoffs past the first round and it was a lot it was a lot that we said and our our main goal was a teamwork make the dream work and but we definitely enjoying ourselves for sure a thousand percent let me talk about that beach ball class my brother played at Crenshaw so he came back with the program. That's the first time. I think Jermaine played in that, too. He was younger. Yeah, he was from there. Jermaine went to Eau Claire down there.
Starting point is 02:01:51 I remember just flipping through it and looking at all these legends playing in that game and seeing yourself, too. So it's crazy when you say that. But K-Mart, what was it like for you to be on a squad with all these legends. Yeah, for she noticed and when you've always had to be the voice, the keep guys in line, the enforcer, when you've always
Starting point is 02:02:18 had to be that and then you get around other people who was that for their team, you can kind of, like you said, you can kind of exhale a little bit. I ain't never been on a team where I had somebody else that was next to me that was the same energy, that was the same. So I had Sheen, I had Tyson. So it's like, yo, I ain't got to be all of that.
Starting point is 02:02:41 I could just go hoop now. But still be that if I need to be, but I could take some of that off. And to have them dudes in the locker room and to just basketball minds, to hear the way they think and how they approach the game. And you've always admired it from afar because you battle. And you just knew what they was about. And you knew they was going to bring the A game every time we played one another. But to have that right there and Me and Jake he had already had that rapport me and Melo already had that report me and Jay are already had that we had
Starting point is 02:03:11 Already been there. So I need to know these other guys was my focal point Me to get to know what I'm saying So it was it was dope man just being around him and and just seeing like the everything that I thought about them Was real, you know, they validated everything that I thought about them was real. They validated everything that I had already thought about them. What were those, like, team plane flights, like, bus rides, all that type of stuff? I mean, I know stuff on the court, yeah, but what's the wildest shit? Oh, that's gambling right there.
Starting point is 02:03:39 That's dick money right there. That's old money. That's small hundreds. Small hundred faces at that point in time. A lot of cards being played, a lot of shit talking. Just us being, because we were all on the other side of 30. I'm saying 33, 30 plus. So we.
Starting point is 02:03:56 Hanging out. Experience is different. Conversations are different. Life and coming up with nicknames for guys and shit like that. Fun part of the NBA. Yeah, you know, they're like knowing your guys and you can say something to somebody and they know where it's coming from. Ain't nobody getting offended.
Starting point is 02:04:14 Ain't nobody taking nothing to heart. Like, it's that. And that's what you need. And that's what we were so fortunate to have in one locker room. And we had a head coach that allowed us to be grown men in Woody. So change and shoot around from us having to get up first thing in the morning to us having to be in the gym at 4.30. Shit like that.
Starting point is 02:04:38 Right. Because you can trust guys to be professional. That's great because you know what you got in your locker room. Mm-hmm Got a bunch of guys some of the kids there some of us got response this 85 percent of us going out the night before yeah, so, you know, you know, you know you guys so see you at 430 Which which which makes more sense the best if you were to think about it That should be the time of shoot around absolutely where you bring the players in right before the game Whatever knowledge you get them they can retain it for the game right then and there versus 10 o'clock 10 o'clock Well, we all know where that came from
Starting point is 02:05:16 Ladies yeah, that's the way they were drunken hide. I had to make sure he was still alive. They was living life. Make sure nobody on that motherfucker. They had all fours in there. I like the 430s, you know, the four 430s for the veterans. But we know what the fuck to do. We know what we doing. Young guys ass in there. Young guys, they do need to, that should be like a separate... That year, the Chris Copelands and... But the thing about it... Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 02:05:41 But think about the young dudes, right? Like whatever you told them at 10, 11 o'clock. They don't remember yeah I think I think they have to do both They yeah, but I get it but in the 430 but right before the game yo, this is the game play my oh All right coach you tell him that city like my daddy get there brother. They doesn't I got it I got two and a half hours Plus all night to sober yeah, so let's get yo the crazy shit I saw when I was up because because Pablo was a rookie, but
Starting point is 02:06:07 he was older than coming from playing overseas, professional, all that. And you don't see rookies normally come out there and motherfucker practice over. This motherfucker in there doing him a three-minute run every day. Yeah. Every single day, dog. Pablo Prisciano did a three-minute run every day. That was his warm-up. Before practice. Every single day, dog. Pablo Prigioni did a three minute run every day. That was his warm up.
Starting point is 02:06:27 Before practice. He did a three minute run every day. And I was in that motherfucker in awe. He really... And it's crazy, because you say that. We look at that as torture. Like, ah, damn. Got to run today?
Starting point is 02:06:42 We got three minutes? He did that as fun. He did that shit every single day, man. Like, I would, yeah, he was as professional as that. Yeah, I was about to say, yeah, he was professional about it. For a rookie. Like, he came in there for a rookie. Like, he was already, but for him to, like, yo, I was like, yo.
Starting point is 02:07:00 What year was this? 2012. 2012, 13. Young kid. What year was this? 2012, 2013. Oh, see I didn't see them. Because my teammates was Chen, Li, Chao. I was in China. Right, so I
Starting point is 02:07:14 didn't see y'all talking about, I don't know. Yeah, I hope that was a real your teammates name. Chen, Li, and Chao. I was in China. I was in China so that those my chief Every day We all we all set a team like what was this?
Starting point is 02:07:40 Good thing it was fun. We all hung out. You know what I'm saying? It was like about every city we went to, at least six or seven dudes, we hanging out. You know what I'm saying? No matter what the venue was, strip club, restaurant, a regular club. But you're going to see us in a pack. Because we all knew. Like, we were veterans in the game. And we all played in different cities. So it was like, all right, let's say when we went to Denver.
Starting point is 02:08:04 Like, he might have knew. Like, yo, no, we're going to go here. I know. Boom, So it was like, all right, let's say when we went to Denver, like he might have knew like, yo, no, we're going to go here. I know, boom, bang. So like, all right, so what are we going to do? We all mobbing to that spot he said. You know, if we in Detroit, I'm like, yo, no, we're going to go here. Boom, bang, bang. We're going to mob, you know. And that's what brought us that camaraderie, you know.
Starting point is 02:08:21 And I always say I got the trifecta. I got a chip, I got a six-man, and I got a scoring championship. And every time I say that, people are always like, man, you ain't had no scoring championship. And they always looking on their phone or whatever. I was like, I did, 2012, 2013. They was like, no, that's when you did the Knicks. I know, Carmelo Anthony, that's
Starting point is 02:08:46 my scoring champion. You know what I'm saying? J.R. Smith, that's my six man of the year award right here when we was in New York because we all had something to do with that. Now, I'm not saying that those guys were immature or anything like that, but no, it was
Starting point is 02:09:01 you ask Melo yourself next time you see him you know how much pressure we all took off of him because we just letting him play yo go out there and play we got all the other shit we're we're the veterans we we've been in this league forever yo we diverting all the shit away from you hey dog go out there and play, enjoy your life, and enjoy yourself. And look what happened. Shit, got the scoring championship. Wait, scoring championship and six men on the same year? No, no.
Starting point is 02:09:35 JR got the six man, and Melo got the scoring championship. That was in the same year with that same Knicks team we was on. Man, that's the craziest shit I've ever had. Nothing to do with basketball that year, nigga. Tank, the fucking one with the side of Thompson had that fucking staph infection in his nose, bro. Listen, dog. I know how much pain
Starting point is 02:09:54 this man had. I had staph infection before this, dog. I know how much pain. He had MRSA, dog. That shit had manifested. Nigga walking around in his shit like I was like... You can't have no conversation with Tree at all. If Tree in the building, you got to watch with him. Like, oh, he was sticking him hard. Whoa. Yeah, MC the first one with you. First one. No, I'm just kidding. Backtrack. Hey. I'm not gonna have to change this, man. What are these? These are my pins.
Starting point is 02:11:34 But they've just been sitting here. Nah, it just reminds me when I played against them and this fell out somebody's sock. It wasn't filled with these pins, it was little with some white stuff. I Just thought about I'll say oh man y'all playing with me and reminded me remind When I picked it up, I saw you He's looking at me a minute ago and oh, that's what you was thinking Okay, little pin I need my lawyer here to advise me to answer that. Nice little pins, though.
Starting point is 02:12:09 Okay. Our first question is a video question. It comes from underdog user King Ife. What a sellout. Yo, do you love me on Gills Arena? I'm blessed. My first question is, if you had a time machine, you can travel to any point in NBA history for any reason.
Starting point is 02:12:23 You can choose. It doesn't have to just be a game. You can go back in time and talk to a grade or see what someone's like, you know, when they're training, anything like that. Where would you go? And then the second question would be, if you could mess with something and it have a butterfly effect, what would you do? Like, I would go back and tell Scotty.
Starting point is 02:12:42 I would tell him a couple different things, but I'd first be like, hey, get your contract right, and I'm going to leave the other stuff out of it. Appreciate y'all. Dan, what else would you tell Scottie? Basically, don't marry this girl, probably. I appreciate that. That's what he was going to say.
Starting point is 02:12:58 He was definitely an old school NBA viewer. And the reason I'm saying it, you know, he had the Chinese collar. Yeah, the old school. Yeah, it's the old school NBA viewer. And the reason I'm saying it, you know, he had the Chinese collar. Yeah, the old school. Yeah, it's the old school. So if you had an NBA time machine, what would you go back to
Starting point is 02:13:12 if you could go back to anything? And then the butterfly effect is the second part. What would you change to fuck up the course of the NBA history? Here we go.
Starting point is 02:13:22 I would go back to the year, the day before they called Um, here we go. I will go back to The year the day before they caught Joe Smith With the contract with Timberwolves Cuz if it wasn't for his funky ass cheating Timberwolves would I had a pick that year and I would have been a first-round pick This is the second round. Gilbert, your whole... No Gilbert Arena provision.
Starting point is 02:13:49 No big bag with the Wizards. No Agent Zero. Cool. Cold-ass Minnesota. Cool. No Big Area. Cool. At that time,
Starting point is 02:13:58 at that time, I would have been the first round pick. No Gil Escalade coming from Oakland to Sunset. We don't know that. We don't know that. You were pushing from Minnesota sunset We don't know that we don't know that you push it from Minnesota. Oh that and I came out her about yourself Which part the buff yeah, I do the first part yeah NBA time
Starting point is 02:14:16 I know it my fucking trying to I told him they've been trying to get all this money now asking all these double ups Be a part of the Pistons bad boy team Which she isn't All these double ups Be a part of the Pistons bad boy team Which year you know? Yeah, they wanted back-to-back the original the back-to-back Pistons team We're real who was being played. It was a real hoop. Well. I just want to be just like they mindset The mindset that was easy be around it. We can't guard nobody, so we're just going to foul the shit out of them. Okay, cool. Y'all was a better defensive team. Let it be known.
Starting point is 02:14:49 Okay, all right. Who was the better defense defense? Not hacking. Who was the better defensive team? You guys or that 89 team? I mean, come on. That's not fair. I'm going to naturally say us, of course. Okay.
Starting point is 02:15:04 You know, when you look at shit, but, I mean, come on. That's not fair. I'm going to naturally say us, of course. Okay. You know, when you look at shit, but, I mean, that was a hell of a defensive crew, too. Bill Lambert. Hacker. Not a defensive player. They weren't back-to-back. But it was hacking. But they had to do something. He didn't make no defense.
Starting point is 02:15:19 Some skill set had to be involved to go back-to-back. For real. Hey, Bill Lambert was a good low score you got rick mahorn he made one team defense rick mahorn was a hell of a motherfucking defender and rebounder and as k-mart said earlier he was a hell of a he was the enforcer for that team so what you want me to go back i mean, that's 90s Mike's first title which one I'm gonna say something like that I just I mean Use the pistons guy. Well, oh fuck we go back in time. Don't go back first fall
Starting point is 02:15:51 No, it's a personal shit. So we won't go back in time change some shit, right? Oh for the old Oh, I wish more. No, no fucking wish my fucking would Wish the motherfucking Bruce Ratner wasn't owner the Nets and I would have stayed my ass in the jersey God damn it. We want to talk about that, that would go back in time. Oh, that East would have been rocking. Yeah. Yeah, I would have been six, seven, eight, nine-time All-Star.
Starting point is 02:16:13 Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Sheed, if you go back in time, change one thing. To forever alter the course of NBA history? My first NBA tech. That's what got it started? That's what got it started,
Starting point is 02:16:39 and that's what I wish I could take back. Because it was crazy. My first NBA tech was in Philly when I was playing with the Wizards. I mean, well, at the time, the Bullets. For the younger viewers, it's the Wizards. But, yeah, it was a bullshit foul called on me. And, like, it was in the heat of the moment with the game, you know. And I'm taking it personal because here it is.
Starting point is 02:17:06 My college teammate is playing in my city. So it has to be that brotherly love, that brotherly rivalry. So yeah, I'm all in it. And they called a bullshit call on me. And I raised the ball like this, like I wanted to throw the fucking ball at the ref. And the other ref saw it and gave me a tech but it was like the crazy thing about it i wasn't even on that mentality of wanting to throw the ball or hit him with the ball it was just like i'm just holding the ball up
Starting point is 02:17:38 like all right which one of y'all motherfuckers i gotta throw it to and that was the whole overall persona that the referees had of me back then. Because I didn't get a lot of texts in high school or college. I got texts for yelling, dunking on motherfuckers. But outside of that, I never got no real texts for doing anything like that. But if I could change the game, go back and change the game, it would be that moment for me as part of the game. Okay. How about you?
Starting point is 02:18:09 Nothing. Did you already tell everybody I'm successful? No, I'm just saying. I can't go back too far. It was racism back then. No, I'm good. I'm not going back to billing. That's a whole different topic now.
Starting point is 02:18:21 You ain't wiping shit on my house. Hey, that's what I was going to say. I would go back in time and stop from smearing doo-doo, but then I would be hanging from a tree. Yeah, yeah, now. You ain't wiping shit on my house. Hey, that's what I was going to say. I would go back in time and stop from smearing doo-doo, but then I would be hanging from a tree. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You can't go back. You got to let that doo-doo smear on Bill Russell. Y'all got to remember, you can't go back too far
Starting point is 02:18:34 because the game is good today. You know what I mean? Not smearing doo-doo. You go back in the beginning of the 80s, your ass is gone. Leave that man's wall alone. He's just playing your chip. You commercial flights, god damn it. Hey, hey, too far back shit you had roommates as adults
Starting point is 02:18:57 Use defense attorney who's been caking ah Hey guys was fucking popping. I got three questions for you I'm but one has a coach ever put you in the doghouse if he has why did he put you in the doghouse and what did you do to scratch and claw your way back out okay give him the 300 because he's a big fan of the show but that's really one a b and c that's all part of one one collective question coach ever put you in the doghouse why how'd you get out we all get in the doghouse? Why? How'd you get out? We all get in the doghouse.
Starting point is 02:19:27 As a player, if you ain't in it, excuse me, if you're not in a doghouse with a coach, then you ain't out there playing. You know what I'm saying? You ain't going for your teammates. It's been something. Either you ain't listening, either you can't run a certain play right,
Starting point is 02:19:42 you can't get right. We've all been in that doghouse before but the only way to get out that doghouse is to work you know let that coach see you of course for us especially when we were all young players it was practice you know i'm saying coach i see you working hard in practice see you working hard on practice all right then you might you might earn an extra two three minutes in the game but that But that was the only way I would see being in the doghouse and trying to get out. I don't know if I was ever in one or not.
Starting point is 02:20:19 Probably with George Carl, but... Oh, yeah, he ain't like your fucking ass. What did I do to get out of it? I kicked the fucking door in and put my feet up on the fucking couch. Don't give a fuck about his doghouse. Don't give a fuck about him. What can we do to rectify the situation? Be forever?
Starting point is 02:20:36 Nothing. One-on-one game for charity? Just fuck George Carl on the site. So if George Carl pulls up to the shootout trying to get some buckets... That's Carolina, man. Come on, dog. I care about y'all brand absolutely, but him? No. So if he pulls up
Starting point is 02:20:51 to Gil's Arena shootout presented by Underdog Fantasy trying to get some buckets. I ain't got nothing to say to him. I don't acknowledge him. Saw him at last summer when Huggs got inducted to the Hall of Fame. He got inducted.
Starting point is 02:21:06 He was standing right with the closest we are. Don't fucking acknowledge him. He didn't say what up to you? I don't know if he did or if he didn't. Okay. I didn't minister. I don't know if he looked my way to speak, to initiate a situation. I was standing right there.
Starting point is 02:21:22 And had he said anything, you know what I would have said to him? Fuck you Straight up No, no, whether I'm pretty sure I was in his doghouse. Absolutely didn't give a fuck about it. He was he had to play me so Fuck his house dog. How whatever it was. I didn't care. But that probably was the only coach that ever, only coach I've ever had a problem with, ever. Gil, how about yourself? Dog house, not because of, like, something I did, right, because I always worked harder than everybody else.
Starting point is 02:22:00 So, I was in the dog house because I was out playing my contract. So my second year in Golden State, I was playing very well and I was playing better than the mid-level. And back then, my team couldn't match it. So what happened was they started, actually started against you guys. We had you guys in Golden State on a TNT game. So what happened was they started, actually started against you guys. We had you guys in Golden State on a TNT game, so the first time on TV. I got seven points, the score is seven-five me. And then I got subbed out, didn't play no more than a half, and then Coach was like, yo, finish where you left off. Like I thought this was about basketball, I didn't think this was about like left off like I thought it's about basketball I
Starting point is 02:22:45 think this is about my understand yeah I understand I know you know I mean I just want to play so I got out cuz I boycott it boycott didn't come to practice like I'm good I'm good and then Earl Boykin's helped me a little bit too he because uh him and him and coach Eric Musselman was tight. And he told me, like, yo, let them play. We're trying to win because if we don't win, you know, your record is going to be reflected and you're going to get fired. Let them play.
Starting point is 02:23:18 So he listened to Earl. Crazy. Let that motherfucker city fire. I played for his dad in Portland. Oh, you did? His dad was on the staff. Okay. So he went from looking out for you to you posting him up every time he was on the floor. Ah, shit.
Starting point is 02:23:34 You fucking shit. The reason you got to play with Earl is every time he was on the floor and we played child and devil, you're going to post him up. What I was supposed to do? Pick me a full court and I can't dribble the ball? I'm trying to're going to post him up. What I was going to do? Pick me a full court. I can't dribble the ball. You ain't sure.
Starting point is 02:23:46 I'm trying to dribble a little motherfucker. I got you, Earl. Because I played against you in practice, I know I can't do this all guy. The fucker was strong. Yeah. Earl told him over. He said, yo, we need you to average five assists. Earl said, shit, if I average five assists, I'm not in the NBA.
Starting point is 02:24:05 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yo, we need you to average five assists. Earl said, shit, if I average five assists, I'm not in the NBA. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We went to Detroit. We went to Detroit. And then he subbed in the game. Everybody go crazy. Right when he came back, it was like, how do they know you? He was like, oh, I went to college. He's from Michigan.
Starting point is 02:24:25 Was you good? He was like, I, I went to college, East Michigan. Mm-hmm. Was you good? He was like, I was all right, I was all right. All right, all right, cool. And somebody said, yeah, he having like 30 something here. Him? His little ass? Yeah. His little boppa got him 30 something, shit.
Starting point is 02:24:40 Puttin' that thing in a bucket. He put that thing up, he's a bucket getter. He be. They fast stop on the dime on your way He had to be oh and he's the one who taught me about pump fake right I remember um So I was watching I was like, you know, how you get the pump pick off. He said Human behavior. He was one who taught me about human behavior. He said because I'm little Nobody wants to just block my shot, right?
Starting point is 02:25:06 So no one just challenges my shot. Because I'm little, they want to embarrass my shot. So they want to smack and do all this loading up shit. So when I come to pump fake, everybody's going to always jump out of the position. So I'll just go up and under, do this pump fake. They're going to fly. He said, because they want to embarrass the shot.
Starting point is 02:25:24 Makes sense. He said, so they always with this type of shit. He said because they want to embarrass the shot. Makes sense. He said so they all always with this type of shit. He said I just buy it. Beep! Beep! Yeah, as a big man it makes sense. I don't want this little motherfucker scoring on me and embarrassing me. He said they want to throw my shit in the crowd.
Starting point is 02:25:37 So they going to come with that full speed shot of block. I'm like, I hit a little asshole too. Yeah, yeah. Are we doing the little free throw shit? Now you coach pick players to go to the free throw line and shoot, you ain't got to run? Uh-huh. This bitch shoot like 93, 94 for his career.
Starting point is 02:25:53 He missing that bitch on purpose. He gonna miss on purpose. Oh, getting blocked off the run. Shout out to Errol Barker, you know me. You little motherfucker. Do it again. Miss it again. Do it again.
Starting point is 02:26:04 I don't give a fuck that you 5'5". Not at all. You a strong motherfucker. You don't have to use that goddamn strength in this bitch. You miss another one. We start doing it. As soon as Coach Pink Earl. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:26:15 Especially if it's a bad one. You been talking, somebody been bothering, talking shit to him? Oh yeah. His minutes been affecting, anything that's going to go, he going to- Payback. Absolutely. He going to show his- I'm not going to show my back.
Starting point is 02:26:23 I'm not going to show my back. I'm not going to show my back. I'm not going to show my back. I'm not going to show my back. I'm not going to show been talking. Somebody's been bothering talking shit to him. Oh, yeah. His men has been affecting anything that's going to go. He going to pay back. Absolutely. He going to show his ass off.
