respect the sound effects. We got a lot to get into. Here's what's cracking in Gills Arena today.
The Pistons bounced back with a dominant second half to even the series with the magic.
Is Detroit back in the driver's seat in this particular series? We will discuss.
Thunder made light work of the Suns again to take a two-0 series lead, but are the Sun's complaints about the way the defending champs get officiated justified?
Devin Booker sounded off. Dylan Brooks sounded off. People are not rolling with the Thunder whistle. We will
get into it and the Warriors and Steve Kerr may be parting ways in the near future

So let's get into it. We had some
Western Conference playoffs.
Last night, two games late.
Thunder made Light Work of the Suns with a 35
point blowout win in game one
of their opening round series.
OKC's top rated defense did what they do best,
holding Phoenix a 35% shooting
and dominating both sides of the ball.
Suns tried to bounce back in game,
But it was more of the same from the reigning MVP in his supporting cast.
Let's take a look at the highlights if we can, please.
SGA led the way with a game high 37 points on 13 of 25 shooting, along with nine
assists and five boards.
His third career playoff game with 35, 5, and 5, and 22nd playoff game with 30 plus
points over the last three seasons.
Thunder been number one in the West for each of those three seasons.
Now the game was close in the first half.
Suns did their best to try to even things up.
Thunder took an eight-point lead into the break.
Thanks a player.
You see Jay Lewis will talk about him in a second.
Some unfortunate news for Jay Dubb.
Fow, foul.
Fowl, that was a foul right there.
Another big bucket though.
Jayle Williams had 19 points in the first half on seven to eight shooting.
Hmm.
Light was too easy, Liam.
It's a lot of the chance he fly off.
What do we see?
Dylan the villain,
doing his thing right there.
That's a foul, right?
He's the last out the way.
I don't see no foul right there.
Boom, you too little.
Look out.
I mean, bump and green.
You're a play-by-play.
I said, Jaylon Williams,
19 points in the first half,
but left the game midway through the third quarter
after suffering the left hamstring injury.
Chet Holmgren added 19 points,
eight rebounds of four blocks,
anchoring the thunder defense.
Dylan Brooks led the sons
with the team high 30 points
on 12 or 23.
shooting before fouling out late in the fourth quarter.
Devin Booker added 22 points of seven boards.
Jaylor Green had 21 on 8 of 23 shooting, but a team high seven
turnovers.
OKC outscored Phoenix 3520 in the third quarter to take control of the game,
led by as much as 26 points in the fourth quarter before the
Suns tried to make a late game rally.
Sons cut that deficit to 10 with under four minutes remaining,
but that's as close as they would get.
Thunder Force 22 turnovers in the game, scoring 22 points off those
sons and missed cues.
Now, OKC, six team in NBA history
with 10 straight wins in the first round
while the Sons have now lost a franchise record
eight straight playoff games.
Swaggy, I heard you commentating during the highlight.
What are your biggest takeaways from the Thunder's
game two win over the Sons?
We all seen this coming.
Sometimes the team is just better than you.
And so, OKC is.
The fact they could turn,
they could get Phoenix to turn the ball over
at the rate they're doing. I don't think that has nothing to do with officiator. That's just
defense. Game players frustrated. And they're taking care of business. It's the reason why they're
the number one team. They all on the same in court. They all play defense. They know they rose.
And they're playing with confidence, you know, how they're playing right now with J. Dove back
and Chet doing the things he do. Shea's on the mission, 37 last night. I think
OKC is just too much for the Phoenix right now.
Too much for the Phoenix Suns.
Mr. Bidl, shift over to you.
Biggest takeaways from the Thunder is game two win over the Suns.
I mean, this series is already over.
I mean, you know, Dylan Brooks,
Jaylen Green, you know, they're trying to do the best they can.
You know, they're the ones that shooting a lot of the shots.
You know, they're not really.
You know, they're not really getting a lot out of Devin Booker.
He had 14, what, 14 shots last game or something like that.
So they're definitely trapping him and putting a lot of pressure on them.
I mean, they just don't have any chance.
I mean, it just doesn't matter about the reps or anything like that.
It's just their energy at home.
You know, J. Dubb just went down.
But, I mean, you know, this, I mean, this series is over and forward, man.
Like, this is just something to where OKC could just work on their game.
Just keep getting better.
I know SGA just hurt his hand, so we'll see what that timetable is on that.
But, I mean, other than that, man, they're just too deep.
They're just too deep and they're just too good right now.
S.A. I heard his hand earlier in the game.
I obviously looked a little bothered by it, but still put up 37 in the win.
So not too phase by, but like you mentioned, J. Dub, hamstring injury.
Other leg, you know.
It sucks to see him go down too.
He only played 33 games.
It looked like he was just going to get into his bag.
But they're too deep, man
They have enough.
Like, you know,
if J. Dub is going to be out,
he can rest until the Western Conference Finals.
Mm.
I don't know about that.
Listen,
listen,
they're,
bro,
he can rest to the Western Conference finals.
You got a,
you got a...
We're not Phoenix.
You got a surgery team in Los Angeles.
You're not Phoenix.
Well,
they can beat Phoenix with their second unit.
That's Phoenix.
They're soft.
But they got a juggernaut waiting for him
in the second round.
If things pan out how they should,
God willing.
Let's shift over to this side of the couch.
Dr. McCants, were your biggest takeaways from the Thunder game to win over the suns?
I haven't really been a fan of the Thunder this year.
And I'm guessing it's because of the whistle.
It's a lot of things that you can say as a hooper when you go into the locker room,
prep for the game, and the coach come in, and he said,
tonight it's going to be eight on five.
It's going to be eight on five.
We got to figure out how to get it.
They're going to get their whistles.
We're playing against them in the refs, so we got to figure out how to balance the score sheet.
The one thing as a team you know that's happening when you're out there playing defense against guys who can play, and you can't say they can't play.
I mean, SGA is good, Chet's good, J.W. is good, A.J. Mitchell is good.
There's a lot of those guys out there that can play.
So the play without fouling is a different type of mindset when you're going out there as a team.
as you're an underdog, you're supposed to lose this game.
But how do you guard guys when you know you plan like you can't guard them?
Because they're going to get the whistle on every given chance.
So it sets you back automatically.
And you can see they was playing not to foul, and they were still getting foul.
But it's never really truly about the officiating, like y'all saying.
It's really about your approach.
And I think them not having no big to counterfeit.
balance Chet and
Harkinstein on the floor at the same time.
That's tough.
And you really don't got no rotation.
I don't know who number 11 is.
I don't know who number 10 is.
Y'all nickers ain't got no answer
for that shit that they do
and throwing the lobs and shit.
That gets SGA really, like,
he's breezing out there.
It's cruise control.
So Devin Booker, I could see his frustration
when he's trying to do what SGA's doing.
And I can see Dillon Brooks' frustration
as far as, this is the playoffs, bro.
like all that shit y'all did to get the calls and all that shit in regular season that's cool we give you all that but this playoff time let's play equal let's like give us the same cause they're getting or let's not call shit and i'm not saying that that changes the outcome of the game because like y'all said i mean okay see do look polished defensively i think they're they definitely running around they're doing what they're supposed to do but they don't mean they're not fouling that don't mean that they out there they're everybody
everybody all defense and they just, the greatest defense of team.
No, no.
Some shit that could go, could change the trajectory of the game,
especially when it was like down seven, down six.
Some things could have went their way.
But that's, there's no excuse for the sons.
They're just not a good team right now.
But there's always been teams that got away with fouls like that.
I mean, we can always go back to the 90s with Utah Jazz and John Stockton,
and then you had the Knicks, and then you had the,
You know, the Detroit Pistons.
But when you play hard,
but I think a certain team.
Playoffs, you let you everybody play.
I know, but there's certain teams every year that I feel like Utah has always been a team that even when Darren Williams is there, they played physical.
It was different.
So I think certain teams just get, you know, get that leeway with it.
I mean, it's the way they approach it too.
I mean, but also we're the champions.
I mean, you know, you're not going to come into our house.
And we plan, you know, to the level of what it's supposed to be.
I mean, shit.
But the head of the basketball operations for referees is a Thunder fan.
No.
Albert Sanders, Jr.
Yeah, he's a, he's a thunders guy.
And James Williams, we've got to figure out how many games James Williams been
reffing for OKC.
He's wearing the...
Wait, what happened?
Because you're playing hard, and you get that reputation, and you get known for playing hard.
Everybody play hard, though, not just one team.
Oh, y'all say it all the time.
Everybody don't play defense like that.
You say it on certain teams that don't play defense
You're saying two different things though
Playing defense and playing hard is two different things
And when you when the rest know that that's how you play
That's your style of play on defense
They let certain things go
They do
They let certain guys play defense
Like Lou Dord
Mark is smart
Those are defenders though
Okay
I'm talking about guys
That whole team is like
Talking about guys playing hard
When you out there playing hard
You still fouling motherfuckers
You still have to
That's the way they play
I get it, but not all of them are good defenders.
Who's not?
For OKC, it's only two good defenders out there.
Doort and Wallace.
And you can throw Chet in there, those three.
Caruso?
He play hard.
SGA, I mean, he's top five in defense.
They play hard.
They play hard.
The defenders on their team,
Blue Dore and Wallace are the defenders on their team.
Everybody else, if you play hard,
just like if we go out there, we play hard,
If all three of us, not the defendant, we're not locked down, but if we play hard, we look like we're playing defense.
He said, I just said it.
I said, shit.
Huh?
They do that every night.
But that's what I'm saying.
They ain't to say that the sons don't have nobody that play hard.
No, they do.
They play hard.
No, Dylan Brooks plays deep.
But I'm saying, they're not getting the same play hard cause that OKC do because it looked different.
Because that's not their reputation.
They got the reputation of that.
Indiana last year, Indiana play hard.
They didn't have no fucking stoppers.
They didn't have no defense and stoppers
But all of those guys playing hard
Made it look like they was playing defense
But they got calls
What they ain't no way defense with the braids over there?
They got calls
And it took him to seven
It got calls
Okay
Because you're playing hard
So what the complaint is now
It's like, bro
I got a guy on me
Playing hard
He ain't no defender
I get a foul on that mother
You don't call it
But we go down here
And we get a
We get a, Dylan Brooks get a, get a foul call.
And he's supposed to, this is the defender.
Okay.
Let him play.
Did you see the highlights just now?
Yeah, I watched the game, though.
I'm saying every time She did that bump to Jeline Green, you can't fly back down there three yards.
But what's the, what's the, you can't get hit in the chest and just fly back and have it.
He got this much.
What's the constant for SGA with that particular move?
Even Doris Burke says it on the fucking show.
What?
He's pushing off.
and he's getting his shoulder right here
Not only is she saying it
She's a rally
She rallies for him
But she's like
You gotta give Devin Booker
The same leeway
No you don't do
Why not?
No
It's the same move
Because that one move
No no no I'm just saying just period
Like him going to do that move
It's his signature
It's his signature move
They're not going to call the officer
Devin Booker?
They have
They have
So you think Devin Booker
and SGA should be getting the same cause?
I think that if you're in a series and you've got two superstars playing against each other.
It shouldn't go one way or the other.
No, no.
It shouldn't go one superstar.
No, no.
So Devin Booker not a super star?
No, no, he's a superstar.
But what I'm saying is he's on SGA's level?
What you mean?
Yes.
Man, come on that.
Devin Booker average 28 a game.
Okay, he's on SGA's level.
All right.
So he should be doing this.
He used to be.
He should be carrying his team to number one.
Of course.
So he shouldn't be complaining.
Cool.
But is the team matched up with O KC?
This is the same team.
Do Devin Booker have a fucking check, hungry?
No.
Do Devin Booker have a fucking J-dub?
No, he doesn't.
Does Devin Booker have a Lou Dort and a Kaysen Wallace?
And he don't have it, so you can't say the team is that.
Is he the number one option on this team?
Yeah.
Is it?
28 a game.
He should be?
No, no, yes or no.
I mean, I mean, you just said he's on the same level as SGE.
So is his number one option on this team?
He should be.
Okay.
I'm saying you got Jaila Green and Dillard Brooks, bro,
taking 23 shots in that game, too.
Not to say it's a must-win game for Phoenix,
but you don't want to go to the same level.
He said they're on the same level, man.
Devin Booker taking 14 shots.
And that's where they lose.
And we see that's why they lose right there.
When you got, you got niggas hacking me, I got a pass-in-ball.
Your superstar takes 14 shots.
He hacking.
And your other stars want to be the superstar.
20 plus.
Who?
Hacking me.
I mean, no, I mean, no, it's playoff time.
Dylan Brooks is, Dylan Brooks is having a hell of a year this year.
So he's having a career.
So he's going to shoot the ball.
So they're all fighting for who to be the superstar.
That's what they're most right.
No, no, they're not.
They're not fighting for being able to, they're just not good.
Sometimes it's just not good.
They're not good.
They're not good.
They're not good.
I'm not making no excuse for them, though.
I'm saying, I'm just saying, like, out of all the shit that I've just said, they are terrible.
They're not that good.
They're not good.
But it doesn't refer from the fact that they should get a fucking whistle or two during the game.
You're not even supposed to be here.
You're not getting a whistle.
You're got to give me a whistle.
No, you're not getting a whistle.
You're not even playing hard enough.
They're talking about.
They did play hard.
What are you talking about?
They're not playing hard enough.
They play hard.
Besides that.
The sons call for 25 foul.
We're called for 21 foul.
I think the free throw.
Yeah, it was.
Okay, so what we're talking about?
They're just playing harder.
It's how it looks.
You're just not, they just not good enough this year.
That's all.
It's how it looks, man.
Safety happens in my youth league.
They can make the fouls match up.
I'm saying.
What happened in game one?
The nigga, SGA, have, what, 15 fritos?
He had 15 points on fritos.
I think nine in this game.
Stop touching me.
I'm that good.
Stop touching me.
Who team is it?
Besides all that, who teams is it?
Who team is it?
Who team is it?
Who team is it on Phoenix?
Who team is Devin Booker's team?
Is Devin Booker's team?
Is Devin Booker's team?
Yes.
They paid them.
It's his team.
It's up in the air.
So you get rid of Booker after this?
It's up in the air.
I said that after game one,
even the play in,
play in didn't look like it was Devin Booker team no more.
That's why he complaining about getting, like, he's...
Is he getting doubled?
He's not.
They're playing straight up?
They plan straight up on them.
But they put an extra, like, they put that extra sauce on him.
They put an extra sauce on him.
What's the extra sauce?
Is he just a little bit more physical?
They're attention to detail on him,
they're up on him, they making sure he can get the ball or up
to the other guys.
And I still feel like he's doing the KD shit.
He's trying to figure shit out and what y'all doing.
And they're just playing hard.
They scrambling, playing hard.
They ain't doing nothing crazy.
But when you're getting hit, you're getting foul.
You want to get a foul because you're struggling.
And I understand that.
That's what I'm seeing.
He's struggling and he's struggling.
And he's trying to get to the line and get the same fouls he's doing.
He's like, man, what the fuck is going on?
What was the spread last night, man?
He got in SGL, I think.
they both him and him and devon switching off
they was getting cooked
Dylan book's guard
SGA he went for 37
mm-hmm
cook juice
listen I'm gonna be honest with you though
if you go into a championship house
bro you're not getting no calls
come on man you gotta be
come on man you gotta really go in there and beat them
that's why I said
like so it's 8 on 5
they're not going to get any calls
when we walk in as the coach and staff
it's 8 on 5 we're not getting no calls
we're not getting no whistles we've got to fight
tooth and nail for this this win
and so at the end of the
game, him making them comments, it makes sense because he knew.
They knew they was going to be.
That's weak, though.
So what happens now in game?
That's weak.
So we're going to jump into those comments in just second.
I think that's weak, though, to be a superstar to make comments like that.
We're going to jump in those comments.
If you're getting fouls, then they're not calling it.
It's weak.
They got four more files.
You got four more files.
You don't going to say nothing?
So you're not going to say nothing.
They're not going to say nothing.
They're hacking you.
And then they're making it seem like they stopping you.
No, but they're a point, though.
I've been to the point though.
Like he's a superstar.
He's like, come on.
Like, I've been to the finals too, damn it.
Yeah, bro.
Like, he's a superstar.
You got a 14 shot.
So we're going to jump into that in just a moment, but let's talk about the
funny real quick.
So Jalen Williams left the game with a hamstring injury after the game.
Mark Dagnon said Williams aggravated his left hamstring,
suffered the injury midway through the third quarter,
tried to play through it before eventually leaving the game.
So Williams missed extended time earlier this season with the right hamstring injury.
Only he missed 49 games total.
a bunch to start the season
with the wrist injury
recovered from wrist surgery
and then hamstring injuries as well.
Thunder were 39 and 10
without their robin.
So just looking at this series
and potentially beyond,
how concerning is Jalen Williams
hamstring injury
for the Thunder moving forward?
I don't think it's...
It's a little concerning.
AJ Mitchell, he picked up the pieces for them.
It's still a little concerning, though.
You get deeper into this postseason now.
I mean, because this is the guy you did win a championship
with.
So I know everybody, I know the second unit, everybody can, you know, pick up the table,
but he still is who he is.
But I will take some time off right now because you can definitely get past this series.
The next series they would probably play the Lakers.
The Los Angeles.
Yeah, you know, that's another one.
A very surging Lakers.
Yeah, and that's another one.
And then you can just.
How are you being?
You got to enjoy it.
You got beat about 40 in the last three games.
What you mean?
Watch out.
We got to enjoy the win.
The wins, we don't get that many of them in the playoff.
The Thunder have not seen this new and approved.
In June.
The Thunder I'm not sure.
Just like we just said yesterday, when Luca come back, all that ball movement shit
going to stop.
So like I said, he could take his time off right now.
I forgot.
We don't know where Lucas coming up on this.
You're in the LA native no more.
You're Willing Hills or something.
Yeah.
It's a fine city.
It's just Valley.
You're from the Valley.
No, no.
I'm in LA, then Valley.
I'm all over.
I'm all over in California.
You're California as a host.
Yeah.
I won a championship in the Bay.
I've played for the...
I'm everything in the California.
Echo Park.
Fresno as well.
Echo Park.
Latinos love you.
Yeah, I'm Echo Park.
Swaggy, I will say that Latinos do love you.
Okay.
18th Street, all that.
I mean, okay.
In La Barrio.
Jay Dubb, man, I don't know, man.
I don't think...
I think this is just a season where they just figured out how to do it without it.
Well, I mean, they had plenty of...
I mean, that 24 and one stretch, largely without J. Dub, involved in that.
I mean, I think they've shown that they're capable of winning without him.
If anything, he came back and fucked shit up and gave the Spurs confidence to play against them
and went against them with him on the floor, which gave them like, yeah, we had their best team.
They got, they had, they had their guys together.
We whooped their ass.
But, like, you know, his excuse would be he wasn't full strength.
He was trying to get his shit together.
I would say up until last night, he had his shit together, right?
Yeah.
He looked good.
He looked solid in the first half.
Perfect.
So I think, you know, AJ Mitchell.
He'd, you know, wipe them Cobwebs out, get back out there and get to doing what he was doing before.
But to B's point, he can't rest, low-key to the Western Conference finals, for sure.
Or play a game or two towards the end of that Lakers series.
I don't know.
I don't think they need.
They don't need Jay-Dove for the first and second round right now.
I need him to be full strength to go against.
Boston.
Third round?
Who's the third round?
Who's the third round?
Who's the third round?
Oh, the third round is going to be between...
The third round is going to be between whoever went out of Denver and Minnesota.
Yeah, for sure.
So that's who O.KC going to see in the...
They're not going to see the Spurs?
No, no, no, listen.
OKC is going to see either the Denver Nuggets or the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Yeah, okay.
And the Western Cup is fine.
The 3-60s right now.
They show...
Yeah, they show...
In the second seat.
So I'm just...
Like the potential
you make that Western
Conference finals
as well.
Just letting you know.
When you play the Lakers,
you really didn't got...
I don't know how long that could last for
against the Thunder.
The history shows that
we lose by the four...
He wore this shirt today.
Not against his shirt today.
Brace the winning.
Bron didn't play in the last thing.
Did he just say,
did you just say,
you just fought and now you just giving in.
Like, what you can make your mind?
I'm just saying, it could...
History, I'm saying what history shows
that against the Lakers,
they beat them.
But we are
The Thunder have not played
This has been
to prove Lakers Squas
Waggiat out there
Their current number one
I've seen that
The current number one option
For the last meeting
Yeah they're playing free now
You know
Luke
Luke Canar
Luca
Fax
No no he is
That's our
A R Luke
Mark is smart
Mark is smart
Mark is smart
You don't got no
Extra B
He's just gonna get
Mark
It's smart
Open that third eye.
That's the new one.
Mark is smart, boy, I'll tell you.
And Luca.
Mark is smart.
You got to do it.
All right.
Like I said, Thunder 39 and 10 without J-dub this season.
So comfortable winning without him.
May become an issue later this postseason.
But let's get back to our Devin Booker conversation.
So Devin Booker was involved in a questionable moment in the game.
Let's take a look at the video if we can, please.
As Book tried to save a ball going out.
out of bounds, he threw it behind his back, ended up hitting Thunder big man Jalen Williams.
Wasn't even looking at him.
In the immediate aftermath, Alex Caruso could be seen lobbying the officials to call a tech.
After a brief discussion by the refs, Booker was with him for a tech by official James Williams,
who's also known as Gucci ref for his strong resemblance to Gucci Main.
No way, that was a tech.
Huh?
That was a tech?
That was a tech, bro.
Wait, wait, wait, wait.
Why do you think I was just saying all that shit for nothing, niggins out there bullshit?
Did he push somebody on the bench?
They pushed him out of bound.
Look, he out of bounds through the ball,
tried to save the ball.
Was not looking at Jalen Williams,
we threw the ball, had no idea where the ball was going to go.
Watch out.
He was merely just trying to save the ball before going out of bounds.
Officials convened.
Gucci ref, as he's known.
I can't fuck with that.
Would that not piss you off, bro, for a tech?
And then he didn't, and then they called the offensive foul.
On him, the next place.
Or the play before?
What was that?
What was that?
What was that?
Second half?
I think second half.
So after the game, DeBook.
It was finally 375.
So it was a close game at that point.
After the game, DeBook had this.
It was close.
It was close.
No, I wouldn't have to do it.
Close enough.
Within striking disson, I'm saying.
After the game, DeBook had this to say about the tech
and what he perceived to be favorable officiating in general for the Thunder.
It's definitely something that has to be looked into.
I heard Caruso tell him to call the tech,
and, you know, he ended up doing it.
So that's one ref.
My 11 years, I haven't called a refile by name,
but James was terrible tonight through and through.
It's bad for the sport, bad for the integrity of the sport.
You know, people are going to start viewing this as a WWE, you know,
if they're not held responsible.
You know, I know I haven't won a championship in this league,
but, you know, I have been in it for 11 years now.
So to get to this point, to be treated,
like that for me to even be saying something out loud, it's bad.
Have you ever done something?
I mean, have you ever, I don't think I can recall you talking to the, about the officials.
Yeah, this is my first time in 11 years, but, um, it's needed.
Like I said, whatever I get fined for, everybody can, can pull the clips and see where the
frustration comes from.
That's the first time in 11 years?
Yeah, you got to give him more respect than that, bro.
Do you guys understand
Devin Booker's frustration
with his tech
and the overall
official in game two shot
You alluded to this before
I like Devin Booker's style
though
I like shit
Was he right
Was he right?
Yeah he's definitely right
That tech was crazy
That's how the game went
And he's an all-star too
That's how the game went
Think about them 14 shots
You was just complaining about
I'm out there trying
And James you ain't
Give me nothing out here
What's going on?
That was a foul.
They called a foul, too, on that?
We're on Jaylon Williams as you tried to save it, but
Caruso lobbies for the tech, the refs convened,
Gucci ref comes in, gives Devin Booker the tech on the play.
It's not like the game was in hand at that point anyway,
but I think it's building frustration.
Yeah, it's just a slap in the face, too.
The same ref that's wearing the SGA sneakers, though.
But they do, like, a referee.
Oh, he wearing the SGA sneakers on this?
Wait, last night?
He has the ones that you can't even order online.
He got all-black.
You got the ones you can't even order on the line.
Man, those shit do look like referee shoes, the all-black ones.
They leather, too.
I don't care.
You can't wear no.
Man, that you can.
No, you can't.
They got all-black shoes.
All the black shoes, Michael George.
Best rule referee shoes.
No, no.
You ain't.
You ain't seen no NBA ref ever wear no money.
No, Michael George.
Never.
Never.
It wasn't allowed.
Never.
No.
never they had the new bounces on the sketchers they had the fucking orthopedicists with the bell
pro join that you could get for good will yeah for sure you get them shit from Ross
nigga you're like where y'all get there this is sonny they at the big k they have the
walmarks they stop playing i don't know i could he's cool too now you can't be cool with his shoe
oh nigger not with his shoe not while I'm refing no and he out there too they're all black
Nah, nah.
You know what they ain't got no sign on.
It's just a black shit over there.
It's converse.
They don't got no sign on it.
It's just converse.
They need to make some NBA ref shoes.
Just all black with the NBA logo on it.
James need to just go on here and stop the bullshit.
James?
James out there bullshit.
James?
James out there bullshit.
James Williams, the ref, Gucci, Gucci.
Gucci called the police or somebody.
Same shit.
Listen, they call them police on him this time.
Man.
James, come here.
Come here. Come on outside.
Put your hands up.
We got you.
He probably told SGA, man, your shoes are so comfortable.
If you give me another pair of you.
The Rocks?
You know what I do.
Send me a box.
I guarantee you get to the phone.
Guarantee.
Guarantee.
Briefly, that's an aside, Ross Dress for less clearance rack.
I'm going to make some tough crowd NBA ref shoes.
Those are the all-black ones.
They got their own section.
They got their own section now.
The shoe section.
Go over there and find small blacks.
But Devin Booker definitely deserve more respect than that right there.
That was crazy.
I don't think he should be fine either.
At all.
Like that was bullshit.
You're going to cut a check.
That's bullshit.
He's going to definitely cut a check.
That is bullshit.
I don't think he should be fine for that.
Because he didn't, because that, that officer filed, then SGA came down.
He did the same thing, got the call.
Yeah, like it's, it was, I mean, I do agree with that.
It's frustrating.
I mean, we are, I mean, listen, we know they're going to whip our ass, but God damn.
Give me a bite.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Like, you can get me.
me a couple, man, what's the spread?
For sure.
And they covered that bitch, too.
They covered that bitch, too.
He had to have said something.
No.
Oh, like, God damn.
Like, something.
Got, but that's real, all the foul.
Especially if you're watching the game in that moment,
you just, you see it, like, he just go out of bounds,
throw the ball, and then they call a tech.
Then you see James not even trying to talk to him or nothing.
Like, yeah, Caruso told him to give him a tech.
Are you serious?
You're like, I don't believe that.
That's not.
Huh?
Yeah, you had tennis ball head.
You're not listening to Caruso at all the people.
They're not listening to Caruso.
He did, though.
He gave him a check for that.
He's a championship experience.
He's a champion like me, I understand.
But you're not listening to the-
It was on the trajectory to be the greatest Laker of all time, but things happen now.
He's a okay, see.
Bringing that championship experience there.
Two-time championship experience there.
One in multiple years, Lakers, one there.
I get it.
It's hard.
But you don't listen.
There's not a ref listening to a player to tell him to give him a tech.
We just saw it.
We just saw it.
I just saw it.
I think Caruso, half ball, half hair on the side, just bending over.
I didn't see him talking to the rap.
Can we watch the clip again one more time?
Look at Tennis.
Look at Tennis.
Look at Tick.
The official pointed at Jay Wilbit.
So a minute after mat, Caruso will be saying, she's throwing up the tech sign.
See, all you see is the half ball half.
He looked confused too.
He looked like a boy.
He didn't see shit because he was doing shit for it.
Cruzola, he worked at HR.
He did it on the slick.
That niggins did it under his breath.
Give him a tech.
You know you're on payroll, James. Don't you fuck it up.
It checks in the mail. Don't you fuck it up.
So Booker not the only one taking some issues in front.
some issues and frustration with how the Thunder officiated, specifically SGA as well.
So Dylan Brooks, back to his old ways leading up to and end this series.
So after the Suns beat the Warriors to advance to face the Thunder in the first round,
Brooks had this to say about the defending champs.
There are a lot of foul baiters on that team.
No, not yet, not yet.
There are a lot of foul baiters on that team.
We got to show our hands.
I hope it's the real playoffs.
Show your hands.
Brooke continued his trolling before the start of game one,
refusing to let Chet Holmgren touch the ball.
before the opening tip, then got called for a flagrant one after hitting Chet in the face.
Brooks had several moments in game two, including a back and forth with the reigning MVP.
Let's take a look at some of those moments if we can, sir.
Brooks blocked SGA shot.
The foul.
Has something to say.
We'll see the replay.
That's a foul, though.
Block the shot.
That's not a foul.
That's a foul, bro.
Moments later, Shay got his give back hitting a jumper over Brooks.
And then appearing to give him the middle finger.
Yeah.
And saying, you give him no middle finger, you're pointing at him.
This guy, ha.
In the pop, man.
The laughing.
Brooks was also whistle for a double tag after getting into it with fellow Canadian.
Lou Doris, a lot of Canadian beef going on right now.
Picked up his fifth foul for bumping in the SBA.
Why is that?
That's dumb.
Look.
Look.
He huffed.
He huffed.
Man, he huffed.
You're a grown ass man.
What you're flopping for?
This thing, I'll put your meat on me, bro.
Bro.
Don't try to hunt me in front of all these people.
Put the meat on.
You seen the...
All part of the rollout.
So, book picked up his fifth foul for bumming SGA.
See to say, Rainey MVP is flopping?
Nah, son.
You can't put your meat?
No, no meat to meet.
And you, like, push your meat in somebody.
Like, come, get out of here.
You don't deserve to be on the court doing this.
Push your meat.
You too comfortable just saying it.
though. You should slow down.
You're just saying it too fast.
Like, it's cool. Like, meet to meet
and calm down.
Like, you enjoy talking about this type of shit.
I love it. I can't wait too.
Talk about the meat to meet.
Yeah. That's how I play
defense.
You heard?
I love it. I love it.
I love it.
I think I want to put his meat.
It's the meat. He want to
do the Army commercials so bad.
Yeah. We have the meat.
You want that motherfucker part so bad.
Shit, hey, man.
Fuck thing, Ray.
God damn.
Hey, no, that's a good.
Hey, shit, Arby's worth about $12 billion.
And they only seen one in my lifetime.
Do you know anybody who eats at Arby?
No, but Swaggy can be the person.
Arby.
Hey, listen, right here, commercial, he got the whole family.
Arbby.
What?
They got 12 billion.
Shit.
Just talking about meat.
Just me all my stuff.
Nah, man.
You don't want your sons on the meat section.
There's a lot like that.
Yeah, we got the meat.
With the meat.
Stop, man.
Yeah.
I know, yeah.
Just I went in there.
A bowl of meat right there.
Oh, no.
You want to be like seafood.
We want fish.
Fish, not meat.
Arby, like, give you a bowl of meat.
Yeah.
Hell now.
Come in, nigger.
Come to Arby's.
What's the meat?
What happened to Long John Silver?
God damn shit.
Whoa.
What the fuck?
What the fucking?
John Silver?
Wow.
Now we want to eat meat and shit.
They're not a nigga, I'm on brisk.
Long John John.
That's a lot.
That's wild.
That's wild.
That's wild.
They should collide.
They just saying.
Long John.
They went out of business.
Long John.
They went out of business.
They could start wearing purses and shit.
They say, we need Long John Silver no more.
We don't need this shit no more.
Long Johnson.
No Long John's.
No Arby.
Long Johnson.
Yeah.
Stop, man.
Long Johnson here on this cop.
Stop, man.
You what?
Long John's and all ads.
We had the meat commercial.
That would be classic.
No, it's not.
Long time we have the meat commercial.
All's doing the Arby's commercial?
If they collab, you know how they be having like the Taco Bell with the pizza hood or something.
Oh, yeah.
Back in the day, yeah.
Yeah, they be collabied.
Long John Meets.
Long John Meats.
Long John, Reef meets.
R.B.
That's a nasty combination, man.
Going there and get some fish and some goddamn Arby's at the same time.
They had a Chitlin burger, I mean sandwich at Arby's.
A Chitlin.
You lying.
I promise you.
It's the new thing.
It's not even allowed.
The kids love it.
They don't even know what Chitlin's is.
A chitlin sandwich at Arbys.
A chitlin sandwich at Arbys?
Yeah.
Wow.
Nah, you're not even supposed to be cooking chitlins.
I'm not sure how we got here, laser jumping.
But here we are.
That's the big thing for the kids, though.
We show some of those Dylan Brooks clips.
Obviously, he picked.
up his fifth foul, hitting him with too much meat as swaggy said.
Sure, sure it was a flop.
You're doing the same thing.
You're just saying it's too comfortable.
No, look how he pushed in.
Show it one more time, y'all.
Let's show all of it again.
It was, it was, it was, it was,
let's show all of it.
Nice exchange.
God damn.
Bam, famed.
Watch the hip,
Clean play.
That's the o'am right there.
That's a flail.
He made my arm twist.
Nah.
Okay.
Brooks has something to say to his fellow country.
Wasn't no foul right there.
Yeah. Pull, pull up.
The nice fade away.
You jump too late.
What we're dealing the villain.
It was close to a middle fingers, Wiggins.
No, it was this.
He had the E.T finger out, but then gave the Pops Mean.
Then we got the double check here between the 80s.
Watch out, musty man.
Come on, musty man. You know he musty.
Look at this.
Lay in the fourth quarter.
Get out of here with that.
The son's trying to make it.
Look at this. Look at his little hell.
Come on.
Oh, man.
Look, look. He's trying to hump him, bro.
That's crazy.
Look.
Look at that.
No, bro, that's sick.
I don't know, Dylan.
Oh, no, man.
No.
But who thinks to do that, though?
Right.
I don't represent you, man.
I'm trying to represent you in the court of law, but it's tough.
So, making it tough for it.
That's clear.
That's evident.
That's evidence.
Your Honor.
Listen, can we go to recess, please?
So after the game, Brooks went in on the officiating,
and SGA also gave his response.
A little frail.
And that's what the rest of them are you smart about it.
But, you know, this is the playoffs, a man's game.
Like, I used to watch this back when Michael Jordan was playing or whatever else when the wrong was younger.
Like, it's just physical basketball.
Like, I don't get why all the dropping, the flogling and the flopping and the flailing and all this stuff.
It's allowed to get to the playoffs.
Like, let that leave that.
for the season, for the fans.
This is about who's the better team,
who's a more-witted team?
Don't decide the games aren't no free throws.
Like, me, I got to look back at
and see if they're really fouls,
but all I know is when I be watching
when I was out with playoffs
or I'm in the playoffs or I'd be watching
from before I was in the NBA,
it's straight physical.
It's straight, low-scoring,
physical basketball,
and you've got to score the basketball to win.
or get stops to win.
Not disfairly and going to the line and stoppage of play.
Like, got to fix that.
I don't know.
I can't control what Dylan or anybody else on the other side is going to complain about.
All I can know is try to go out there and win basketball games for my team.
But, yeah, I mean, Dylan's doing what he's supposed to do.
He's supposed to bring energy to the game and rile up the game.
And once again, he did a good job of bringing energy to the game tonight.
It was super fun out there.
And I love playing against him.
Well, watch some Kobe, bro.
He's watch some Kobe, bro.
His interviews are perfect, bro.
Dylan Brooks looks like he's the worst lawyer ever.
Oh my God.
Yeah.
He got a...
That suit looked like he ain't got nobody off yet.
It looked like Reverend X.
If you know who Reverend X is, you gotta pull a Reverend X.
You got to fix that tie.
Yeah.
When you hear what Brooks saying, though...
I hear what he saying, but he did nobody back in the day
to hump somebody.
on the court. So let's get that out the way. You can't do stuff like that and think it's cool and then the rest are not going to call a file.
I love like Shea says. He does what he's supposed to do. It made the game fun too, but at the end of the day, you can't complain when you get called for the stuff you do.
If you're running into somebody and then you put your pelvis all in them, what you expect.
You can't put your pelvis on me.
I think he could take some of the antics out.
Yeah.
Because he's having such a good year, like career-wise.
But I think if he takes some of the little antics out
and some of the dumb things that he do,
it would benefit him more.
I mean, I'm not saying, like, you know,
I mean, that's part of his game, though, of what he does.
But just cut some of the things out,
especially in crucial moments at a time.
Or even when you're just balling,
just to keep yourself in a good rhythm.
That's just how I look at it.
If it wasn't a constant complaint around the league,
the SGA does the shit that he's doing to get these calls,
I would be, I would be, I feel the same way.
You got to guard better.
But he's been notorious for the shit.
But why is it just him, and he's not the leading, uh, frito?
He ain't got nothing to do with leading.
No, it don't.
Because there's other players that do it more to him.
I'm not saying he's the only one.
But all I hear is, today.
I don't hear Lucas.
Because he's the best at it.
You can't be the best if you,
number one. Yeah, you can.
Like, Luca's number one. Yeah, but
they're number three in the league.
But thank you. So why are you complaining about number three
and nobody complains about it? Because the number one team
don't need to do too much of it.
I just need to do it when I'm not hitting my
shots or if I got a good defender
on. You'll say Luke is a foul. Don't try
to tell me how to play.
Luca, I'm not been to stop my-
Joelle and Bee. Joaquin.
Joker.
All of them. I never hear me to talk about there. It's about five of them.
It's about five of them. All I hear is Shay does it.
He does it the best.
And that's what they don't like, but they wanted to do something else.
Why?
It's working.
Why would I do something else?
He's not number one.
I'm not changing my game.
No, stop me.
All he did will get buckets yesterday.
Stop me first.
Play basketball.
Stop me.
Then maybe I can change something.
But until then I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing until you stop.
People are hating because they're number one and they're unstoppable.
That's why he gets that.
No.
Because he's not leading in free throws.
Because sometimes you don't need to do the shit you be out there doing.
Just who?
Shoot that shit. Shoot it regular.
But I'm not number one.
It don't matter. You can shoot the ball regular.
It's somebody else that does this more than me, obviously.
You can shoot the ball regularly.
It's so crazy that people don't like free throws and they free.
Like the fact that that's the freest shot you can get with nobody bothering you
and you mad because people are figuring out the way to get to that goddamn line.
Stop filing.
It's called a free throw for a reason.
I'm going to get to the easiest shot, the most high percentage shot with nobody around me and I'm going to shoot that shot.
Too bad that you keep following me.
But I'm going to sit right here at this free throw.
why it's called free throws, though. They're free.
You remember the movie where you got the
drug dealer, nigga, got the cops on payroll.
I see several movies.
Several. Yeah, this is it. They,
they're the new emerging dealers on the block.
They got the niggas on payroll.
So when the cops pull up, it's like,
hey, ain't y'all going to arrest them?
So you hated when James did it? So you hated when James
was doing it? Okay, he did it.
They all, hey, listen. No, no, I'm asking.
No, I'm asking. I'm asking. It was an advantage.
It was an advantage. He didn't win doing it.
He created an advantage.
So how much?
No, no, no, I'm not, no, that's not a deal.
I'm just saying, him, him being able to be able to do this, it didn't change the fact that, you know, he still got a point.
Okay.
That was the point.
It took his points per game up.
Yeah.
This right here, I'm finding the way.
I'm etched in the record books based on my points per game and me get into the Frito line 10, 11 times a game.
I'm finding the way to get into the bonus early so my teammates can shoot.
Freethos, what's wrong with that?
Like, that's part of the game.
Just finding a way.
I've seen the clips of a rough saying, but I believe you, Mike.
But I believe you.
You didn't see that, but I believe you, Mike.
Nobody complain about Michael Jordan.
Because Mike can go out his way to get those calls.
How do you know that?
He's the most gambling.
You know, man, you praise this hell.
You're crazy as hell.
You're complaining about the choice.
He complained about the story.
Because the niggins is knocking his head off.
What you mean?
When you get your ass knocked down like that, I need you to fucking come in and
change some shit because this shit hurts.
You're not getting hit like this.
How about you get hit?
How about you get hit?
Hey, SGA ain't not getting hit like this.
You can't.
Michael Jordan is still mad at it somebody for not shaking his hand over 40 years ago.
Yeah.
Kick them off the Olympic teams.
Like, you can't tell me he's his mindset was fucking, he was a tough man.
Because y'all was beating my ass for four years.
What do you mean?
We're playing basketball.
No, you were playing basketball.
You were playing fucking hockey.
What were we known as?
What were we known as?
The bad boys.
Yes.
Okay, that's how we play.
And now you're the good boys.
So go.
I went and told on y'all niggies.
Hold on. Hey, man, this.
That's George did that.
Come on. Yes.
What fuck? It's just me over here.
Scotty wasn't Scottie yet.
Yes.
Growing to that.
Hey, listen, David, come in here and tell them niggas to calm down.
They jump in me.
The next year, y'all got Phil Jackson.
The next year, y'all got Phil Jackson.
Come on, man. Y'all got Phil Jackson.
That's all you need it.
Yeah, but this seems like obviously a growing trend around the league.
A lot of people have had some inflammatory things to say about the Thunder about SGA.
You guys like getting buckets, though.
Brandon, like you mentioned, free throws are.
free part of the game.
Why does he get knocks so much for his ability to draw foul?
And even if somebody like Devin Booker to complain,
or Dylan Brooks complain about the ND book?
Because the defender ain't doing his job in the summertime.
Go watch film, I don't know, but the office of players are just smarter.
If it was just fans complaining, it would be one thing.
But when there are players like Jalen Brown,
Devin Booker, guys that are like, hey man, if I was to do what he doing
or all of us would change our beat and say,
let's now start doing what SGA doing.
Do it this.
The referees in the league would have to change the way they call in the game.
This is a copy of the league.
They don't like playing like that.
Guys don't like playing like that.
That is this is.
I wish I could.
You know, y'all know exactly what it is.
You go to the fucking, you go, you go play hoop.
And you got one nigga that ain't.
Just say he ain't even in the league, never been in the league.
Okay.
And he's calling every fucking call.
It's a foul, bro.
No.
It ain't.
No, this is a nigga that you know you ain't never been at this level we at.
We sit here trying to figure out why he calling everything called.
But are you fouling, though?
No, we're not fouling. No, we're not fouling.
Okay. So we're calling back-to-back foul.
Okay, and we're not giving it to him. We're not giving it to him, right?
I'm not. I'm not.
So this is how they feel.
This is how they feeling. They're like, yo, come on, man, that's not a foul.
Like, we don't, remember, if we, if I foul you for real, I'm going to check up.
Hey, I got you. No, that's respect. Yes, it's respect.
Some niggas not.
Some niggas, some niggas.
But listen.
Not for game, you not?
No, not for game.
Okay.
But you have like this.
And they know that damn whales out on them.
No, no, no.
We're talking about like if we had 24.
On the court, niggers lie.
And if we had the 24, and you got a nigga guard you and he's hacking you.
Are you calling, you're going to call ball every time he hack you, right?
Now, we're slowing the game down.
Everybody in there like, bro, it's still two.
We've been in here 45 minutes because he can keep hacking Nick.
So stop foul.
Right?
He keep hacking.
Now, let's say Nick guarding the other thing on the other end.
Okay.
He ain't got game like that.
But he's saying just because Nick is calling that shit every time,
I'm going to call that shit every time.
You know you're not fouling them.
It's just my ball.
It's going to frustrate the fuck out of you, my nigga.
The first time I'll let it get the second time he's not getting away with that.
I don't care.
But you just got away with it.
Yeah.
For five straight possessions you called your shit.
Because you know why?
You brand of Jen and you played in the league.
Y'all niggas got to respect the fact that I'm the niggins that sit here.
But this nigga, I'm not giving it.
Hey, you're not getting that call.
Exactly.
Just like I just said, I'm SGA, I'm the finals MVP.
So you would see why he.
I'm the MVP of the NBA.
You see why he's frustrated.
You're not on this level.
I'm getting that call.
It's frustrating.
It's not who.
And we both not calling it equal.
And it's like, my nigger, I'm not fouling you down here.
You call it every time.
But then you come down here and you're saying you're not fouling me?
You're fouling me.
This guy played for a national championship team with,
and, uh, with the, um,
With Carolina.
So when y'all won, you telling me that next year, y'all didn't, y'all didn't get advantages?
They had advantages.
I left that year.
No, no.
Okay.
Okay, well, the year, whatever.
The year they was ranked when they played us.
They had advantages.
I wasn't there.
That you did.
I wasn't there.
You blew me in my freshman year, y'all blew up by 50 or 30 or something like that.
I wasn't there.
Listen, anyways.
With Marvin Williams.
I left in 05.
And Marvin Williams rookie in the freshman year.
Listen, at the end of the day, he had advantages.
Yes, you did play.
Listen, hey, listen, at the end of the day, he had advantages.
So I don't know why he was getting the whistle.
I was shooting the whistle.
Oh, my gosh.
I wasn't getting the whistle.
Oh, my God.
But when I got the whistle, I got the whistle based on a motherfucker can't guard me.
No, no, no, no, no.
You got the advantage already.
North Carolina had the advantage already.
We came down to North Carolina.
So, S.J.
Just like y'all in the same treatment.
Nah.
Until you really beat us.
You got to come in there and meet us.
You got to get the same cause.
That's what it was all you hear.
we got to get the same cause
So there's a complaint, right?
We didn't.
You didn't, right?
But at the same time, did it cost you?
This players like little wheel
that get fat, know how to file.
And I try to do it, I don't know how to do it
the same way.
I don't get the same out.
Because you are a real Ooper.
You know not to do that shit.
Nick, you know me looking at you like you're bald.
That's like saying Kobe doing all this shit.
That's fine.
No, but that ain't the same.
Or, KD, doing this shit,
the hope to get the fat.
That's the same.
As you driving and you're going.
That's not the same.
People who shoot the most free throws.
SJA's third.
SJ's third.
SJ. N.J. third, yeah, for sure.
Top five.
Very good at wrong foul.
Okay, so why's all about him?
You're always talking about the black man,
the two white men.
Black Canadian.
I mentioned them.
I see, no, I see.
I did.
Who is it?
Bill out.
Billetka, Denny?
Sell out brothers on that Nguishman.
And then he do less flailing and falling and shit too.
Yeah.
Brother, brother.
You see him?
He had a bean pie suit on yesterday.
Come on, brother.
books, Dylan books.
Give a fuck about that.
If it ain't going, I ain't going, nigger.
What you're talking about?
What are you talking about?
We have some breaking news on the Thunderfront.
Just got announced by Shams.
Jaylon Williams, grade one hamstring strain, will be re-evaluated on a weekly basis.
So it should meet at least the next one to two weeks with healing.
But it's one of those things with the hammies, as you guys know, trying to come back too soon.
There may not be a big deal for the Thunder in the immediate future, but definitely a big loss for this squad.
big loss for this squad.
So,
besides, what was Lucas?
He was a grade two, right?
Sure, whatever he would.
He need to get his ass back on the court.
So one or two, so, like,
second round, like, basically, like second round,
third round, you know, they may be able to overcome
the deficit that Lakers will inevitably put them in.
You know, once Laker goes too old,
he'll come back.
With this, it's a,
then it'll go six, probably.
So if you guys play OKC first round,
you guys are going to beat OKC.
Without General Williams?
Yeah, the first two games out there?
get a couple games.
This is the playoffs, Mr. Bishmoreland.
Called a Ropa Dup.
Everybody thought he was going to lose when K.D.
came back.
Thank you.
Not everybody.
I called it.
Don't matter whether he's there
or not there.
Get well, J. Dup.
I was a part of that.
We both got to win that day, right?
All right.
So I think we've been on the same page.
You just been following me.
You just been following me.
You just been following me.
You know what?
You've been taking my credit.
You're two and seven because your ass didn't follow me.
You didn't follow the fucking rules.
I'll be time to send you the test like, Nick, just follow the goddamn leader, Goddell.
Just follow me, bro.
I promise.
I know I picked Orlando.
I picked Orlando over the Hornets.
I know.
This show is all over the place today, but I really appreciate you, gentlemen.
Do you feel like the sons have any chance in this?
No.
No, no.
Theory shifting back.
I do.
Man, game three is a little, game three.
I don't know.
Because with the reps and everything that's been put out right now, I don't know, man.
I can see something crazy happening in game three where Phoenix gets one and this thing goes five.
But game three, I mean, yeah, if they don't get game three, I mean, they might get game four.
But I do see Phoenix getting one now after what Devin Booker said.
What J. Dub have at halftime?
19.
Yeah, so he ended up with 19.
7 to 8 from the field in the first half.
Take that 19 out of the equation with that team.
It's over.
It's a closer game, right?
That 19 set them apart.
Or that bench is, you know, you got, it's over.
Yeah, that bitch went.
They played too hard.
They ended up having 14.
They got too many bodies.
Okay, yeah, so take away his night.
Lou Dord had a couple late game threes.
Okay.
But I'm thinking that set the tone shit for J. Dub changes everything for them.
And you got a defender out there that's like,
Like, he's just, what, he's six, eight?
I think Phoenix gets a game, though, after the...
Oh, you a bet.
Three or four.
How much you want to bet?
That they get a game?
Bet.
You already, oh, shit, man.
How much you want to bet?
Two shots?
You only pay your bets, bro.
Two shots.
Whoa.
I beat you, you mean, the Clippers and I ain't, and the fucking shit for the bet to even go down, though.
That's an automatic forfeit.
Yeah, I said that.
It's an automatic forfe.
I said only if they play the Clippers.
There was.
Yeah, I think the sounds get a game, though.
Two shots.
You want to bet that?
since you're all Dylan Brooks fans
you're gonna bet they're gonna bet they're gonna bet they
that's clean sweet wait one game
clean sweet clean sweet clean sweet
not after them ready
clean street
man at home too
get your ass up out of here
we're going straight to the club
let's keep this thing moving shift over to the
eastern conference now
one of two games on the sleigh yesterday
magic stunned the pittons in Detroit to take game one
with the pittins extending their NBA
record home playoff losing streak to
11 straight games getting their last home win back in 2008.
Detroit became the first top seat to never have a lead in a playoff opener in the
play-by-play era.
Magic came out strong in game two looking to build off the momentum from stealing whole
quarter advantage and the game was tied heading to the break, but then Detroit got back to looking
like the team that won 60 games this season.
Let's take a look at the highlights.
If we can, Pishin's offense exploded in the third quarter and their defense tightened up.
Pitches went on a 30 to 3 run.
30 to 3.3, you heard that right, ladies and gentlemen.
To start the third frame, ended up outscoring the magic 3816 to take a commanding lead.
Detroit had six players scoring double figures led by their franchise player, Cade Cunningham.
We followed up his 39-point performance in game one, I dropped in 27, 11 assists, and six boards in 37 minutes of action.
Tobias Harris added 16 and 11 boards, while Jalen Duren and Assar Thompson both came close to double doubles.
Dern had 11 and 9 boards.
Thompson had 11 and 8 rebounds.
Yeah, you see it.
Ben Carroll.
Jaylon Sucks led the Magic with 19 points
on 7 to 18 shooting.
Palo Ban Carroll, also known as
Paolo Pete Carroll here in Gil's Arena
presented by underdog Woo-Woo.
Had 18.
There's no woo-woo's.
You're saying Pete.
What you saying that?
Damn.
Not a woo-woo.
They're in the control room.
You can't hear the woo-woofs through the glass,
ladies gentlemen.
You gave him the name, man.
You don't remember you.
Palo Pete Carroll.
He gave him the name.
18.8 assist, six rebounds.
Detroit held the magic to season lows of 33% shooting,
83 points total in the game.
Orlando shot just 25% from three.
Pistons were also plus 20 in points in the paint.
So with the win, the Pistons finally end their record
for the longest home losing streak in postseason history.
Even the series of both squads,
head to Orlando for game three.
Sean, we'll start with you.
What are your biggest takeaway from the Pistons?
Game two win over the Orlando.
magic. There's only so much fluff you can give the magic to make them look good. I think
JB went in there and talked to the team and had them really understanding the severity of
being number one and not going down to a team like this, which, you know, I'm thinking
that the magic had a chance to go up and solidify that series. But Kay showed up like
the leadership.
And I think that with
Kay being able to command
a good first game and a
solid second game,
Jalen Durden didn't show up
the way he could have.
I think Isaiah Stewart played some big minutes.
Duncan Robinson played some big
minutes.
Thompson boy, he always going to do
what he do as far as defense and being in the
right spots.
They continue to do what they're doing
as far as this game and they can proceed it and keep going,
they're cleaning up.
But the magic got something to prove at this point.
They're just erratic now.
I don't know what to say about them right now
because to lose to the Sixers the way they did,
to beat the Horn is the way they did,
and then come in and win against Detroit game one.
And then they look a totally different team.
So I think they just need to clean up the little things
and just show up and play hard
because sometimes they had some lapses where they didn't play hard.
They didn't look like a cohesive union.
unit. But you got to give credit to the Pistons for showing up for sure.
You got to imagine after tricking that first game, this Piston squad, toughness grid,
160 games the season, they were going to get it back together. But impressive third quarter run,
30 to three, start that third quarter.
Michigan, when you look at this game, the biggest takeaways from the Pistons game to win?
I mean, the Pistons didn't approach this second game like they did the first.
It looked like they were comfortable with getting the first win.
You know, which is, you know, you definitely want to get at least one win on the road.
Cade definitely, he did his thing.
Of course, that's definitely what he's going to do.
But, man, I can't really count Orlando out in this because of their struggling of scoring from Detroit.
Because Kate is their only main score.
Endurine and Tobias, they haven't really been stepping up too much for them in the first two games.
So, you know, yeah, Kate, Kate had 37, but I just feel like game three.
which is early game Saturday, which is at 1 p.m., 10 a.m. our time.
But, you know, that's going to say a lot, too, being in Orlando, being on the road.
It's kind of a set-up game, too, for Detroit to lose.
So, you know, I don't know.
You know, I got to see what the other All-Star player is going to do on Detroit
because, you know, they have trouble scoring.
So, and in the playoffs, you know, you're going to need somebody else to be able to score.
I mean, even if they get out of this series,
with Orlando, right? I mean, your next
series, you're going to need another score or somebody else.
You've been saying that all years.
You know what I'm saying? They don't have that extra score that can
help help Cade. So I don't know.
Like, my jury's not out on Orlando right now.
I got to see what game three is like
because it's an early game and it's that
kind of a set-up game.
Yeah, I for sure think it's going to be
a tough series this first round for Detroit.
Game three,
Paolo got a just like Cade there.
He got to show us if he's a superstar.
or what he's going to be in this league, really.
You know, Orlando played like they've been playing all year.
They look like they got their identity first game,
and then second game, they looked like where Orlando at.
And for Cade, he stepped up.
He showed why he's a superstar in his league,
took control of the game.
Pistons basketball, defense, you know, get physical with him.
And, Alan, and Wagner, if he's going to be the Coast.
He got to step up to him.
You can't disappear in the game.
He had 12 points or something like that.
If he brought to, I don't know if he got paid yet, but.
He's got his bread.
So you got to step up.
Bang all of you guys.
Coming in, I thought Orlando would have been in front of Detroit.
You know, they should have been, I thought they would have been like ranked five or four somewhere in that range.
So it's not one of those Cape Walk teams that Detroit is playing.
And if they get past this, I think this is a tough challenge for him.
But next season, next round will be Cleveland.
So they got to figure it out.
During got to step up.
Tobiah Harris been in this game.
He got to try to give you more than his every day 14, 13.
Yeah, they're going to need some 20 points.
They're going to need somebody.
One of the road players got to win at least two games for him.
Got to hit a couple threes.
Gotta be like Luke Knorrhoed out there.
But who would they see next?
You say Cleveland?
Cleveland, not at Toronto?
Or the Raptors.
No, I mean, no.
Yeah, no.
Is the jewelry out on Pollo?
When you compare Pollo and K.
That's what I'm saying.
If he wanted to be on K level, he...
K-24, Pollo 23.
I think, what, K-year-4 and five?
Yeah.
They came in together, right?
I think Kay one year ahead.
They both number one picks.
So,
and Paulo being,
the playoff.
Kay and MVP conversations,
Paolo out here,
lunching.
Paulo went to the playoffs,
what,
two years through,
every year?
Two years in a row.
Two years in a row.
Three years in a row.
He's still doing,
I mean,
he's still doing his thing.
He lost to Cleveland,
then Boston,
now Detroit.
Mm-hmm.
This is supposed to be his down year,
and he averaged in 22.
They had like the lowest 22 and 8 outside the paint.
It was crazy.
Down year too.
Yeah, so didn't make the postseason in rookie season, but three straight.
Two straight first in the losses.
We thought this year he was gonna take off.
He was 26 last year.
But 26 and 8 last year.
But you bring in Bang too though.
They ain't gonna take-
Should help you.
It should take some of the low-place.
It should take some of the numbers off though.
Because you didn't have, Bang, I was 20 with Memphis.
this.
It's going to come down to like the road, like, like, bang don't have to have one of them.
You got to like 35, 40 point games.
Like just catch fire.
I'm telling you, because they, listen, game one, like, game one, like, I wasn't high on them either, but game one, I was like, damn, all right.
And then game two was like, all right, yeah, they felt like they, you know, we got one.
Yeah, we can go back to Orlando.
We got two at home.
We can definitely get one at home.
And that's why I said, I don't know, man.
Like, I don't know about this.
It's a little tricky.
It's a tricky little serious right here.
If Paolo not showing up the way he posts to, that's what it's always tricky with me because I think Kay shows up.
He shows up.
This is me.
In the laws?
You can tell it's his shit when he's driving them.
Yeah.
Paolo don't look like he, one, wants the keys to the bitch.
He don't know where he's going.
He's just like, I know I'm supposed to be sitting there, but I want to sit over here.
I want to watch the trees and the birds and shit.
I just want to be a part of the ride.
And it just don't feel like maybe it's a Duke thing, man.
I don't know.
It could be a duke thing.
Is it a coach team?
Yeah, but he got bang over there too.
I don't know because he was doing it last year.
But they also got hurt last year.
Like who was it, Wagner or his?
They both got hurt, but you know it's clear cut.
We're not giving the shit to Wagner.
He ain't no number one pick.
This is our franchise guy.
Paolo was our franchise guy.
He got all the tools.
We was calling him LeBron 2.0.
So at this point
Mello?
He ain't got the Mello shit
He ain't got nothing to that man
You can't compare him to the king
Just size
I'm just talking about size and speed
And being able to handle the ball
Pablo
The Mello who?
Carmelo Anthony?
Nah
Not a chance
Who said that
That's my heard it's baby Mello
Nick said it
In the back
Was they saying that?
I'm about saying
Look it up
Look it up
Nick you said that shit
Ain't nobody
I ain't you just said it for the first time
You can't say LeBron.
Also, when he said LeBron, it's cool,
but you say Mello's a problem.
That's what it was.
This is crazy.
Little LeBron.
And that's a good thing?
Six, nine running, dribbling handling the ball.
Who was Little LeBron?
If you say he's little LeBron, it's quiet, I say Mello.
Because it's two different games.
Two different games, bro.
Mellow not handling the ball like that.
It's got to be loud for LeBron.
Those comps were men.
Those comps were men.
Those comps were men.
Those comps were made.
Which one?
A bad carol.
Thank you.
Be compared to it.
I'm just, I'm about to be the doctor.
Or the internet.
You need to turn in your damn.
Not Orlando.
Why?
There was both, both comparisons.
I didn't hear LeBron.
They don't mean anything said, nigga.
You don't be hearing about a shit.
They said mellow.
I heard that.
Compared to LeBron.
But the fact I don't say nothing when he said LeBron.
I didn't.
The one is the number one pick.
When I said,
I never said that.
I never said that.
I never said.
team. I don't even know why they even compare people
to LeBron or Mello.
He does not compare to
Mello at all. If you ain't
if you ain't a freshman leading your team
at 6'9, I don't know the fuck they talk about.
Like Syracuse to the
to the NCAA, don't compare them to Mello.
But you went crazy once I
said Mellow, you was drinking water
and he said LeBron. That's
what I'm trying to say. He said, I don't even know why
he said, I don't even know why anyone.
You didn't say nothing. But once I said
mellow, you didn't say nothing. Because when you said
Melo already said no.
He's saying LeBron.
I don't even know why he even talking.
Saying that.
Thank you.
That was easy.
You need to turn your damn bad.
You got it wrong.
You're wrong.
You're damn wrong.
No.
No.
It was not it.
Like I said,
series shifted to game three in Orlando.
Which Pistons Squad do you expect to see in game three?
The one we saw in game one or the one we saw in game two?
Two.
I hope game, too.
I mean, like I say, it's an early game, man.
It's 1 o'clock.
I mean, I know it's still the playoffs, but, I mean, nobody wants to have an early game during the playoffs.
You want to play at night.
So all that, traveling.
You've had an early playoff game?
Huh?
You've had an early playoff game before?
It's a Saturday.
I think so, yeah.
Yeah, it's a Saturday.
But I'm just saying, like, you know, you still want to play at, you know, I don't want no one o'clock game for the playoffs.
I want to play prime time.
Those are fun, though.
You don't want to play a playoff game once.
Those are fun.
Yeah, what, at 1 o'clock?
Playing a playoff game at 1 o'clock?
Hell no.
I want to play at like, I want to play at 5 or 7.
On a Saturday?
Yes, I want to play later.
I don't want to play early during the day.
On Saturday, people are out watching.
First of all, you don't get to take that nap, bro.
You don't need that nap.
You do need that nap.
No, that means it's a recovery.
That's the point.
You don't even get to get, if you want to get some work in that day,
if you want to go get some, your 1,000 shots up,
you want to go do it.
Any of that shit, you need to eat and take a nap after that so you can recharge.
No, that's a bad.
But now you just waking up.
No, no pregame, no shots up.
You're just showing up.
Like, stretch.
Ah, let's go.
No.
I mean, I got to go to that.
All the time.
All that.
Early at Friday.
Then I got to get up early.
You ain't going to sleep, really?
Yes, you do?
Because I got to get, I got to be at the arena by what time.
If our game is at 1 o'clock, I got to get at 3.
Oh, yeah.
There's no shoot-around.
By 9.
Man, hell.
They might not even do no shoot-around.
That's what.
That's better.
No. How the fuck you're supposed to prepare for the game?
I still need to get up. I still got to get going.
Yes. Get up. You get to get up. Eat your calls. You know, eat your breakfast.
What if you don't eat breakfast? You're not a breakfast. You're not a breakfast.
Now you got forced to eat some shit. So you would want to have a playoff game at one o'clock instead of 7.30?
Yes. And then after you whip their ass. Oh, no. You got all day to do shit.
First of all, it ain't nothing to be, it ain't nothing to be doing anyway during a playoff. So put me every night at 7 o'clock.
I understand. Y'all ain't win.
That's why, like, when you win,
oh, my God.
After, like, the team does.
First of all, you talk about a guy who played in the NCAA tournament at 10 o'clock,
at 1 o'clock, 3 o'clock.
When you win, it's a dinner and everything after.
And y'all all chills.
Most of the time your family is there.
So, yeah, family, everybody, family and still come down.
After you win, you're feeling good.
I know, I've been to the play.
I know.
It's only, I know.
So what I'm saying is after the playoffs,
you're doing that anyway.
Like, nobody's doing nothing anyway after.
Everybody's chilling together anyway in the world.
You're not doing nothing.
That time was the commute.
I played Gil in Memphis early.
Okay.
And me won, me and Gil hung out like after and shit at 5 o'clock.
So you can hang out with your friends and shit.
You could do that anytime.
You can't do that.
There's nothing else to do during the playoffs, but just be with your people anyway.
No, yes it is.
What else is there to do while you trying to go win the championship in the playoffs?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Right.
Right.
Right.
He did.
He tried to get me.
Yeah.
He was about to get me.
Okay,
You're about to get me.
You were about to say something crazy.
I'm about to say something crazy.
Yeah.
I'm glad that's your catch word.
Yeah.
I mean,
yeah.
Yeah, let me think about what you get.
But,
nah, if the game at night
it's over at 10,
all you got to do is going to,
the store's not open.
You can't go eat.
Yes, you can't.
You're in the playoffs,
and you just won a playoff game
and you're on the row.
One and four hours,
room service,
the Laker game.
What time did we leave here?
10.30.
Okay.
Then they got to take a shower.
You're not just picking up and leave like we did.
If I'm playing for the loss.
You got to do media.
You out that bitch at 12 midnight.
If I play for the Los Angeles Lakers, right?
And I got a playoff game and I want to go eat at Mr. Nice Guys.
They're opening up that shit for me to play.
Are you crazy?
What?
On Tuesday.
Not on Tuesday.
Yes, they are.
Yes, they are.
Yes, they are.
Tuesday's nice.
And I'm eating in the kitchen.
And I'm eating in the kitchen.
What you're talking about?
And it's 1 o'clock on East Coast.
What does that mean?
So they're not watching.
You want everybody to see you.
No.
You're going to see this ass weapon I'm going to give you.
Oh, my.
No, listen, I don't care about, no.
How do we go for people watching to what we do?
I don't get out there on 2.30.
You're asking why the East Coast.
Everybody's watching.
I play for the Los Angeles Lakers.
They're going to stay up to 2 3 o'clock in the morning to see us lose.
We got the Lakers across our jersey.
I'm tired.
To see us lose, bruce?
I mean, to win or lose, what I'm saying at the end of the day,
I'm getting food after.
You see all ass Kenian.
Do you look tired when you're watching the game?
That name was Dan Nere's sleep
Took a nap
You can't be it
Come on, man
Why are you on?
Why are you on?
Man
He was hot
He wasn't snoring, man
Hey man
I got to go take a nap
Man
I'm gonna go take a nap
Man
God damn
Hurry up
You're acting like
You can't get shit
Open in LA
I thought you was
Mr. California
Why would they set it down
For you?
Anyway
They closed early
We're on the East Coast
though
We're talking about daytime game on the East Coast at 1 o'clock.
And I love that.
So that means our game would be at 5 o'clock then, basically, on the East Coast.
By 8 o'clock we've done, after everything, we can still go out to eat and do our family thing.
What are you talking about?
We are our NBA players.
Wait, so.
When has a restaurant?
One o'clock out here?
No, they played it at 4 o'clock here.
No, so, all right, so the Pistons and Orlando Magic, right?
What time is again?
10 o'clock in the morning, it comes on out here, but they play one o'clock there.
Okay, yeah, 10 o'clock, the 10 a.m. game.
Yeah.
We're not even getting up to watch that game.
But I don't like watching basketball.
We're not getting up out here.
We're not getting up at 10 to watch them play.
There's other stuff on on Saturday.
That's the best part of the playoff, a March Madness.
It's games from 9 to that shit.
But we're catching the what game.
We're catching the what game.
We're catching the 1 o'clock game.
The 2 o'clock games.
You're going to look at the box score at the 10 o'clock game.
You're like, who played good?
Saturday at 1. Saturday at 10.
This time we're watching baseball.
People are watching baseball.
They're not getting up.
Something crazy.
Tell me, man.
Put me at five or seven for a playoff game.
I love them early games, bro.
So we're going to shift focus here a little bit.
Mr. B, got some breaking news concerning your Milwaukee Bucks.
Yes.
You got trade.
What just happened?
Bucks and former Memphis Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins apparently have agreed
to a deal for him to become the next head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks.
Smoke, smoke, put the smoke, put the smoke.
Jaumaret.
Jenkins was an assistant coach with the Bucks, I think,
2018-19 season before going over to Memphis.
Obviously got the boot over with the Grizzlies on ceremoniously.
What was his record with Memphis?
They was number one down here.
Oh, hold on, let me.
What's his record?
He good in the West.
Remember that's when he was coach?
So I had a record of 250 and 214.
Made three post seasons across six seasons
with the Memphis Grizzles.
Let's go. Let's go.
Bucks in six. Let's go.
Let's go.
Yep.
Yep.
We back.
Yeah, please.
And I love Milwaukee.
We back.
That don't really push the needle.
What are you talking about?
You know who coming now.
John.
That'll be nice.
He can do all he can.
All he wants in Milwaukee.
Hmm?
You do everything in Milwaukee.
Listen, you can't get it done with damn.
I don't do the fuck.
Who else you bring around?
John, that's different.
What's different?
You just got two motherfuckers going to the lane.
John's different now.
Shout out the bucks.
That's a good.
I like the hire.
But sure.
If you try to do what you're trying to get,
Jai, I feel like I like that.
Would know Yonis?
Yonis gone.
Do you think so?
For sure.
Taylor Jig is enough to potentially persuade Yonis?
No.
To stay with the only franchise he's known?
Hmm, hell no.
It should be quiet right now.
I don't know.
I don't know what we gotta see.
Well, we might be there.
We might be there this summer, so we'll know.
We very well may be in Milwaukee.
We might be there this.
No, no, no, no.
I got to call off that.
No, no, you can't.
Your family will be there.
No, we might be in Milwaukee this weekend.
Summer Fest, we go.
We might be in Milwaukee.
Shit.
And they got a new country.
They came out here.
We about to get the exclusives.
We about to get all that.
They came out here.
And I already told your family you coming, so they was like, make sure it's Swaggy.
You know, I was like, I got you.
I got you.
They told me they was coming out here.
No, but you're going to go see that.
Stop answering the phone.
Yeah, man.
So I can't go out there.
It's people looking.
Take care of them kids, man.
Take care of your family, man.
You are a family guy, though.
One thing, I do love going to Swaggy P family events.
The whole family be there.
Thank you for coming.
I invite them, too.
They don't come, though.
Thank you.
I'll get to receive an invite.
Because it's a little bit too much for you, you know.
You got like your whole other, you know.
You like half, you know, it's like your whole other side.
I don't like dancing around, you know.
I like to be free.
You know?
I like to be free.
I like to play the music.
So I don't want to scare your whole other side, you know.
Family is very quick.
Damn, though.
Very comfortable with any city.
Not Marcus Johnson.
You ain't invited?
Marky's not invited.
I got you.
Mark is.
Mark is done.
He said,
no,
no,
nah.
The first
crypt to win
the Woodin' War
for those.
Come on,
man.
He's outside still.
He got out still outside.
He's still outside.
He's still outside.
That's the first criss.
It was the first crimson.
He was the first crimson.
Back and pops can come.
All right.
Well,
let's shift this back over to the
Western Conference.
So we have an update
on Victor Wimbignyama.
Wimby's status for game three and beyond
remains uncertain after he left game two of the concussion
but Spurs got some positive news
Wednesday as the unanimous defensive player
of the year was able to do some cardio work
as his concussion symptoms did not worsen
so earlier today Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson
said that Wemby will travel with the team to Portland
for games three and four
is not a flight risk ladies and gentlemen
he will be in Portland
so how should the spurs approach
these next two games in Portland
if they do not have Wembe,
but Wimby potentially could get cleared
as early as game three.
So initially we suffer concussion,
48-hour waiting period
while you have to do all the required
to return to play.
Test and all that good shit,
but you can do cardio 24 hours
after the initial diagnosis
as long as the symptoms do not worsen,
the symptoms did not worsen.
So you got to do that.
Carter after 24 hours.
Could potentially play game three,
maybe even game four at the earliest.
Jotee?
Joteen?
That's your team?
our resident Victor Wamba Wamba expert.
We ain't worry about nothing.
We ain't worry about nothing.
Huh?
We ain't worry about nothing.
And he's going to come back, game four.
I think we rest this game three.
And let the guys go out there and do what they're supposed to do.
Next man up.
Play hard, play smart, play together.
I think the last game, you look,
we were lost by three.
Had a good look at the last shot.
I think just guys need to show up a little bit better
without the tension of wondering if Wemby going to come back and save or not.
And if you know going into game three that he's not coming back,
I think Deering Fox steps up.
I think Stefan Castle takes a different role.
I think they change the plays a little bit.
I think Luke Corvette steps up.
He starts to play a little bit better.
Carter Bryant is going to come off the bench and give us another little boost defensively.
I think Harrison Barnes going to finally step into a row to start hitting some shots.
Champagne is going to start hit some shots.
They just need to just play effective.
Don't think too much into it.
Just go out there and play hard.
At the end of the day, you play hard.
It's going to cover a lot of the bases that the mistakes that were made the last game didn't do.
So you got to get Scoot Henderson under control.
That's going to be my scotter report.
Get him under control.
Let's do elbows and boxes on Denny Avia.
Let's make sure that Kamara and Jeremy Grant and Shane Sharp were not moving too much in transition.
Take care of the ball.
make them shoot tough shots and keep Donovan clinging off the offensive boards.
I think if we go into the game with that mindset, it can take care of itself.
But like I said, they got to do their job.
They got to attack the paint.
They got to put them guys in foul trouble.
You can't just let Denny, Ivia, be out there without playing no defense.
You can't let Scoot be out there just fucking hacking the hell out of y'all out there on the perimeter.
I put no pressure on him.
And if they do that, they'll be fine.
They'll be fine.
But if you look at this Spurs squad, Series 1-1, going back to Portland, no T-shirts for Blazers fans.
So uncertain what the morale will be amongst the Blazers contingent in their new ownership.
They've been very frugal to this point, but Spurs don't have Wemby at least game three,
and potentially game before how should they approach those two games.
They want to take back home court advantage in the series.
It's up in the air.
I mean, this is their first time in the playoffs.
So this is their first time on the road.
Portland is a team.
Portland is a city that backs their team.
It's going to be sold out loud.
Drew Hollidays played in every playoff situation you could think of.
So he has experience.
And I just think that them being able to win Robert Williams, his name, Robert Williams, right?
You know, he was able to control the paint and things like that.
So if he can do what he did when Wimby was out,
I think they have a chance to take game three.
Scoot, you know, however he said when he woke up and he brushed his teeth and he went downstairs and, you know, he knew it was on.
He got to take that same approach at home.
You know, because you're going against a young Spurs team.
So they're not really experienced.
But, you know, you have some experience over there with, I mean, you know, D. Fox is there.
But D. Fox is going to have to up his game.
He's going to have to really put the team on his back.
a little bit, but, you know, I kind of have Portland winning game three right now.
I'm going with Portland winning game three just off Winby not being there, and they're
going to make things a little interesting.
But I do still have the Spurs winning the whole series, but I just think game three without
Wimby is going to be, it's going to cause Wemby to come back.
That's why Wembe is still in concussion protocol, was able to do some cardio last night.
Ms. Johnson said he will travel with the team to Portland.
If the Spurs need Wimby to rush back for game three, that shows that they're not ready,
already mentally, putting the guy that you're a mess with your brain.
That shit hurt.
But at the same time, if you can, show you on focus.
But at the same time, if Wimby feels that he could play, he should play.
But you could do what you've been doing to him all season, like Minish Control.
bring them off the bench, do that six-man.
And that still gives the players out there confidence to be themselves, you know.
But if you feel like you have to rush Wembe back to get a win,
and the only way you can't get a win is rushing Wembe back,
I think they already lost.
Let the Spurs be the Spurs.
You don't hear that about OKC, Janet Williams,
is he going to rush back to play?
You still see OKC has hope.
So it's up to Fox, Castle, all the other guys.
You know, it's going to be tough, but they got to go out there and play.
They won a lot of games without Wendy.
And we're talking about Portland.
You're getting them guys confidence as we speak, you know, and that's all this takes for a young player.
It's confidence sometimes.
So Spurs were 12 and 6 without Wimby this season.
12 and 1, I believe, against the Blazers.
Should be able.
Should be able to get one game without them.
I'm not saying going to hold serious, but you should be able to get one game.
And on other Spurs news, Wednesday league announced Keldon Johnson named Six Man of the Year.
So Spurs posted this video of Johnson pulling up to the practice facility with all of his teammates,
rocking cowboy hats to celebrate the accomplishment.
He averaged 13 points, five rebounds, 1.4 assists while playing in all 82.
games this season. First player in franchise history
to score at least 1,000 points off the bench in the season.
And his 1,081 points total...
He had 1,081 points, first Spurs player to score 1,000 points off the bench.
Oh, yeah.
1,081 points total off the bench was the second most in the NBA of the season.
Johnson, the Spurs, longest-tenured active player,
starter for most of his first four-plus seasons in the league,
led the Spurs in scoring during the 22-23 season.
I think averaging nearly 22 points a game.
Team finished 22 and 60 that year
before Pop moved him to the bench
during the 23-24 season.
He's admitted the decision was hard to accept initially,
but he was committed to doing what was best for the team.
Flourished in that role, obviously,
and been instrumental in helping turn the franchise around.
So he beat out Jaime Hockes Jr. and Tim Hardaway
for a six-man of a year.
When you're just looking at with Kelton Johnson,
obviously, fourth season, third season,
average 22 in the league.
Embracing this role as a six-man now joins Manu Janobli as I believe the only six-man war winners in Spurs history.
Shabwe, we will start with you first.
What's your reaction to Kelton Johnson winning six-man of the year?
Much deserved.
You know, he's been a spur, loyal, faithful.
He had to go through that dreadful pop stage where he didn't have no superstars and wasn't winning nothing.
Tanking.
Trying to figure it all out.
ground zero.
And then the Ags to come off the bench
thinking that you do what you do.
And he's one of those underrated
players that can get to the bucket,
can offensive rebound,
defend, he'd do everything.
So for him finally to get his just due,
you can see his emotions when he found out.
I don't know if people've seen that or not,
but he felt like the journey's been
definitely worked it now that he's being rewarded
and credited for his patience
and his sacrifice.
And I think a lot of players like him have done similar things when you're playing on certain teams that have pedigree and prestige.
And you have to take that backseat.
And a lot of guys who play for the Spurs will unwilling to take those back seats, given the opportunity to take one for the team.
And I think he's done it.
And for them to get the complete reward would be to win the championship for someone like him, for someone like Devin Fasel, who would be.
during the turmoil and during the downtime.
And I think that he definitely got what he deserved, for sure.
So Mr. B, when you see Kelton Johnson, gold medalist,
started for the bulk of the first four-plus season's career,
now shifted to a bench roll, found success in that.
What's your reaction to Kelton Johnson winning sixth man in the year?
First, congratulations.
Speaks on all the hard work and just the sacrifice that he did.
speaks on the organization too. Find it, finding ways to get players in the right position.
I know it'll be hard, but things always work out over there in San Antonio for a lot of players.
And just to take on that challenge and, you know, to go from leading the team and
scoring to come off the bench and your team is number two and have a, have a chance to win
a championship. I mean, what more can you ask for? You know, this just be volumes on his
character and his maturity. This is a guy that's going to be in the league.
for a long time to me because of just on the challenge that he took and that he's taken
and being on San Antonio and you know the way they move the way they are regardless of
he's going to be here for his whole career or not but just this moment right here is going
to really identify him for the rest of the league that you know he's a player in a bet that you
can count on to be able to say you know hey I went from being a leading school on a team to
now I'm the sixth man of the year and you know I can take on any role so that's that's a guy
that's going to be a great vet when the years come.
Been a great vet on the scene.
Wimby sung his praise his all season was lobbying for him
to win six men of the year during his MVP campaign.
Last book.
Winby owned the media.
But, no, that does show a lot of character, professionalism.
When you go from starting to your minutes change,
situation change, plays change, and you come off the bench
You know, you just come in with the right attitude.
You know, you don't change the locker room with your attitude.
You don't make people, players feel uncomfortable.
You come in and do your job.
And you can tell they like them when they all wearing the hats and happy for him.
So you can tell he has a bright mindset, you know,
and that's a team first guy, whatever it takes to win.
And you can't say nothing.
He's well-deserved, well-deserved, you know, especially as a windbe says it,
it's going to get done.
When we say it's going to get done?
Thanks to the league, young.
Glad he realized that.
No, but seriously, though, what he just did, though,
for young players that come into the league, man,
four years in?
Yeah, four or all these guys.
You know, it was leading the team in scoring
and then have to take a different role,
man, it's going to, that says a lot for them.
And coaches are going to see that for him.
So down the road, watch,
going to see this guy in the league for about 15, 17 years just because he understands how to,
you know, take on roles.
You're going to be that guy.
Why is he still in the league?
Damn.
It's going to be right there.
Because his ass taking on another row.
Locking on that.
Sitting there locking down that jumper still 12, 13 point tonight.
Yeah.
Jeff Green, still want to be at a league.
Is it fair?
Huh?
Is it fair?
Fear of what?
To have to have to take that sacrifice?
I mean life
I mean
I mean life is
As far as being your fourth year
Leading the team
Yeah right
And then having to change that trajectory
Mm-hmm
And it not be for winning
Because it wasn't winning
It'd be different
Before that year
If it was winning
We do this and we start winning
And
But it's we did this
And it's just
Because we feel like you're betters here
And then think about him
he's going to be 10 years from now thinking like, damn, man, what if I didn't make that sacrifice?
What if I got traded to a team that's going to allow me to do what I was doing to get me here?
And they believe that I can play.
I think what, Iman Shumper was saying some shit like that.
Mike Beesie was saying some stuff like that.
Different choices was like, man, I just didn't accept this role.
And it was like, nah, I'm a hooper.
I'm trying to get my points off.
And then you need it.
But you're saying like, is it fair?
In his position, is it fair?
Yeah, I think it's fair.
I think it's fair.
And I think him just realizing maturing, realizing that, yo, the universe is saying, yo, this
is it right now.
And it's been going in their favor all year.
You got the defensive player of the year, possibly the coach of the year, you know,
team of the year, probably MVP too.
So yeah, for his situation, yeah, it is fair.
Because at the end of the day, we're still not going to forget what he averaged,
and he was still leading his team.
So we know what he can do.
But that, I don't know.
I don't know what you mean, fear.
Like, it's a fear?
No, he asked, was it fair?
I'm saying for his situation, yeah, I think what he did is fair.
Like, I think what he did was the right thing because of the organization he plays for,
the San Antonio Spurs, right?
Like, you know, this is.
If he had championships to contribute to walk away with, that's what I'm saying.
But he does.
I mean, but I have my.
I'll have my six men of the year, right?
We're number two.
We have a chance to go there.
I could have got that anywhere I went.
No, you could have.
I could have probably got most improved, right?
So what I'm saying is
today's age, what we
considered something you can
walk away with is,
are you in the history books?
Yeah. Are you points per game
and it's all value based
on what you doing on the floor?
They don't even look at the championships
as a metric anymore.
We've already had the conversations.
How much money you make, how many points you make,
not how many championships you win and what team you want.
So if he ain't winning no championships
and he sacrificed being that guy or one of them guys
just to be around an organization that's cool,
I'm thinking, like, is that fair to him?
Because he could have been more.
But he's getting a reward now of being six men of the year right now.
But it's like...
He's in his fourth year.
He's in his fourth year.
He got, I mean, what are we talking?
Right now he's in the fourth year?
I thought he's in like, what are you?
No, he's like six right now.
Oh, six year?
That happened in his fourth year.
He was leading a team and all that.
And then they asked him.
It's his seventh season.
So midway through his fifth season, Pop Cano, I believe,
Wimby's rookie year.
Okay.
Say, look, we're a movie over.
Oh, seventh season?
Started like 27th season?
Okay, yeah.
A seventh season?
Six men of the year?
Fiselle was killing.
But they was trash.
But just think about a seventh year,
six men of the year
San Antonio
they can make some moves
this summer I could be
my value is high
so at the end of the day
I can still go
somewhere else
and go be that guy
if that's what I really want to be
nah
because you've seen that too
before what you mean
no no
no no
but you're saying
he just sacrificed on
you just said like
he could have went
somewhere else
and been
the window closed
for him
during his sacrifice
the sacrifice
so it's over now for him
so
no no no
just to be a guy
that was leading
the team for the Spurs.
Uh-huh.
How much was he averaging now?
Uh, 22.
Oh, shit.
Come on, man.
So you don't,
come on, man.
So, you know, so.
So the Lakers couldn't get him,
he couldn't go to the Lakers?
Average.
Average.
Not to average.
Not 22.
You're going to never average 22.
We're not, yeah, we're not picking you up to average 22 right now.
Yeah, unless he go to the ass team again.
Wizards or somebody.
Yeah.
He can go get his shit off the mud.
But averaging 22 for the Spurs.
before, what, was it before Wimby, that year before Wimby?
The year before Wimby came in.
Numbers dropped to 16 points per game.
Okay.
Last season they were 13 per game this year.
They're at 13.2.
Playing the, I think,
the fewest minutes in his career since his rookie season.
Oh, man.
Minutes have gone down.
Oh, man.
Going for 22?
I'm looking back.
Like, I was after this year?
Last season.
Last year.
I don't know, but was he a six men?
He shifted back to these.
I think he started.
He started.
He started so we went in the award cup.
That's tough, bro.
I mean, yeah, it's tough.
I mean, it's tough.
A corner with freedom, as you like to say.
It's tough.
That's tough.
And that's what I say.
If he was winning, it's different.
They are winning them.
They're different.
I'm saying if we were winning championships in those three years that I set down to sacrifice.
Because right now.
But my men is down and my points down.
But at the same time, this six men is bigger than them 22 points he was averaging on the ass team.
He's averaging 13.
He's averaging 13.
I know.
I know.
I know, but this 13th is bigger than that.
I wish I had one of those.
I've been in the candidate, but I wish I had one of those.
The walk away with something and you have it at home on a,
you don't have 22 points on your dresser or wall with her.
You have that trophy.
That's she hard, bro.
That's she hard.
Shout out Kelton Johnson.
We'll see how the Spurs handle not having Wimby.
His workload may have to increase in the interim.
To Wamba Wama comes back.
We got one more topic to discuss today.
Non-playoff related as this team was not good enough to make the post.
But, Warrior season came to unceremonious end last weekend in Phoenix with the loss of the suns, eliminating them from the postseason.
Just days after Golden State kept their season alive with their first win in the Intuit Dome against Kauai and the Clippers.
So with a little over a minute remaining in their final game of the season, Steve Kerr shared a moment with Steph Curry and Draymond Green on the Warrior sideline with the league releasing a snippet of that conversation.
I don't know what's going to happen next, but I love you guys to death.
Thank you.
I appreciate you.
Don't know what's going to happen next, but I love you guys to death.
Moments later, both Draymond Green and Devin Booker rejected from the game by Scott Foster.
So since winning the championship in 2022, worries have failed to make the playoffs in two of the last four seasons have not advanced past the second round.
So on the latest episode of his podcast, Draymond, offered these thoughts on Steve Kerr's future with the team.
I'm happy, you know, we got to share that moment and that Steve was in the moment, right?
like capturing, like he didn't miss the moment.
And, you know, it was a big deal because, you know, if you ask me,
I don't know that he's coming back.
If, you know, if you want my opinion, just with all the talk that's been going around
and all, if you act on my opinion, I think not.
Just because it just feels like that.
I don't know.
It just, I hope so.
You know, I hope he's our coach next year.
I also hope I'm on this team next year.
We also don't know that, which we'll get into.
But I don't know, man.
It just, it felt like that was it.
It really felt like that was it.
Is it?
I don't know.
Like I said, I hope not.
But for some reason, it just felt like that was it.
And, man, if it's,
was. What a run has been.
So Currie said he will take a few weeks to decide his future.
In his 12th season with the Warriors, they won four championships.
But according to reports, unlikely to return next season.
Like I said, they win four chips.
Led the Warriors of the best single-season record in league history in 2016.
Then they got smacked by LeBron and the Cadet.
Swaggy, won a championship with this Warrior Squad.
Under Steve Kurt, did the Warriors Dynasty officially end this past weekend?
For sure.
I think that was pretty much his last time coaching him.
And you can tell in that moment,
Steve Kurt wouldn't say things like that unless he knows this is the end for him.
They wouldn't have did all that unless they know something big is about to happen.
It's either the end for Draymond or, or Kirk.
and going the way they're about to go,
I feel like they're about to blow it up
and go young.
History shows Steve Kerr don't have patience
for young players.
He don't have...
He needs vets and guys with championship experience
to do what he needs to do.
He don't have time to produce players
and make players.
He's trying to win now with his mentality.
And I feel like right now,
ain't tried that with Jimmy Butler, things didn't go right.
The rookies they had end up with flushing away,
comminga, things didn't go right.
And it just gave a nasty, like,
it made Steve Kerr look different to the organization,
to the Bay.
And you wanna leave, while you're not getting booted out,
and you wanna leave on the, you know, Steve Kerr.
Like, man, one of four champions,
four championships, a gold medalist.
Leave on your own core.
So you get a chance to leave how you want to leave.
It's not over, though.
For him, he could go somewhere else for sure.
I think it's just over in the bay.
So just thought you, Mr. B, did the Warriors dynasty
officially end this past weekend?
Yeah, when they drafted, wasn't they white?
White.
Yeah, yeah.
Who could they have got?
No.
Lamello, I believe Tyree.
Yeah.
So that's when the dynasty ended.
And they got, uh, Ant Man, too.
Yeah, yeah, so that's when the-
And then went number one, I think Steve Kerr,
they have some issues with Ants Workout.
Yeah, yeah.
Not being in enough condition.
They made them work out twice.
So I feel like that's when the dynasty ended.
And also when they traded Clay.
Um, because Clay,
before any of this dynasty or anything,
the dynasty talk,
they were known as the Slash Brothers under Mark Jackson.
Um, and then, you know,
they got rid of Mark and then Steve came.
And then, you know,
then everybody else,
became everybody else got better and then they just start putting it you know a dynasty team but
to me I just felt like when they traded clay the dynasty was over because you use you're losing
a score you're using you're losing one of your best shooters one of the best shooters ever played
this game also and I think this year I think this summer you know they they will go do their
homework but I mean you got to you know I don't think you go younger I think you got to try to go for the kill
And that's, you know, you got to try to go get a yonness.
You got to go get somebody that's a real big superstar to keep this thing going.
And that's the only way I see Steve Kerr coming back.
Not just with Steph, if it's another big superstar that comes.
Let's shift over this side.
Dr. McKinz, did that Warriors Dynasty officially end last weekend
with their loss of the sun getting eliminated from the postseason?
Nah.
It ended with that man punched your...
Jordan Poole, I think that's when it ended.
Karma comes back.
Full circle every single time.
You can't escape it no matter who you are.
And I've already discussed how much I just dislike Steve Kerr.
I do not like him.
I don't like what he did to Jordan Poole.
I don't like what he did to Clay Thompson.
I don't like what he did to Kaminga.
And essentially, I mean, as much as KD played a part into what happened,
I think that they brushed that shit under the rug with KD.
And a lot of these things contribute you being a non-confrontational,
passive-aggressive type of dude.
You've been winning a lot of championships on the backs of others,
taking credit for it, as if you didn't go down
and Luke Walton didn't step up and look just as good as you did,
coaching the same players, and get a job.
And then he went somewhere else and didn't show to be successful.
like he was with the game the same guys.
Luke, I love Luke. Luke is cool.
I love Luke. But Luke ain't Luke
when he coaches some motherfuckers. It ain't
Steph Curry and then those guys
and I feel like Steve Curry just got
he got handed a bunch
of shit that benefits
his resume to have him
acting like he don't need to coach young players.
What coach can consider themselves
good and can't coach guys
who may have little discrepancies
in their game that need coaching?
You called a great
coach, but you don't want to coach guys that need
coaching. That's weird to me.
And he, like, don't
Is it because he ain't got the patience?
Good coaches have patience.
Good coaches are good mentors. That's the first thing
you got to have. He don't self-hitz and mistakes, too.
He don't have no accountability?
No accountability. Like, putting,
what's this, Pazingia is, whatever his name?
Pazinski. Like, you forcing that
on us. Like, you got to, you're forcing
him to. Yeah, like, what do you see?
Yeah, like, like, like, like,
Like, you know what is it? Like, do you see yourself get this opportunity to be able to be like,
I'm going to show y'all.
I was just like this.
Because, you know, that could have been me with Mike.
Come on, man.
You know what I'm sure?
You know what I'm saying?
Man, like, it's like it's like a me moment.
But listen, man, we're talking, listen, you got your me moment.
Yeah, yeah.
The me moment's right here with all these dreams.
And doing what you got to do.
I think if they want KD back, Steve Kerr got to be gone.
No, that ain't happening.
Steve's time is up, bro.
You don't think they could get KD.
No.
Steve time up, bro.
Steph time up.
Drey time up.
No.
Everybody time is up.
No, I'm not giving them.
Because you can't hide behind the bullshit
that's been happening
and not answering any of the questions
of stuff.
What happened here?
Hey, Steph, man, you ain't had no problem
with the Jordan pool thing?
You ain't say shit.
Bro, what happened?
He did say.
Bro.
Hey, yo, your splash brother got pushed out by a nigga,
what you call him, Sancho Bob?
Mm-hmm.
Sancho Bob came in and pushed
He do gotta say something.
Something.
Hey, KD.
Hey, hey, listen, we didn't even have a team meeting about the shit
Dre said about me and we just sat around,
looked at the, like, yeah.
Yeah, but you know, staff personality ain't like that, though.
It's not.
So, like, that's not him, though.
Like, like, that's not him to go out there and just talk about
the organization or anything like that.
That's not me.
And I get that.
So, like, that's not.
But the backlash still comes on you because you sat there and watched it.
I mean, I mean, I watched it.
I watched it or I didn't know what was happening and it got put on me and then I'm just answering the questions when they come to me.
I'm here.
But you can help with Jordan Poole mentally.
Fass.
Who?
You can help a Jordan Poole.
Like, he ain't been in the same sense.
Let's be real.
You get punched in front of the world.
So you don't think, so, I mean, like, say something what, like he got to come out publicly and make him feel bad as a man or something.
Or like how you know Stephanie ain't texting him behind the scenes.
But that don't mean shit though.
Like.
Why?
Because the perception.
Because it happened publicly.
Yeah.
Okay, so publicly, I got to sit next to you and be like, hey, bro, you know what I'm saying?
I'm sorry, you got socked out, you know what I'm saying?
No, nobody got socked.
Before the cameras came out, they were like, it was just, they were just art.
Just an altercation.
Nobody got sock, so they all looked crazy.
Okay.
They tried to hide it.
Yeah, he tried to hide it.
But what, okay, because we don't want this getting out.
Okay, I'm trying to.
Okay.
And then it got out.
Okay, it got out.
Okay, so I got to do a press conference about some shit that I'm over here practicing
and don't know what's going on.
And then I got to be like,
hey, man, you know, this and that's not.
You weren't there when homie was here
and told us the whole story.
So the whole story goes,
everyone knew what the fuck was going on.
Not only did they know,
it was lingering,
and Steve Kerr promoted it to be like,
hey, stand up for yourself, young fella.
Okay.
Don't let this man just bully you.
Okay.
So now.
As a man.
So Steve promoted it.
Knock the nigger out.
Everybody knew he was going to get knocked out
because Jay don't play that shit.
Man.
So Steve Kerr, so Steve Kerr, everybody in there know that, all right, Draymond Green for
to come here and knock him out today.
But Steve Kerr, I'm like that type of pool attitude.
That young, they're young, talk back.
Yeah, like, cool, like.
Steph could have been, at least being like, hey, man, that shit that shit is not cool.
Yeah.
Say something.
Say something.
So he didn't say anything.
He didn't say shit.
Yeah, but the person, but, okay, so we blame him not saying, but the person that, but the person that did do something.
He said something about and apologized in front of the whole world.
So what's the problem?
I'm not saying this.
Because the person that did it, he's the one that acknowledged the whole world and said, yo, this is my fault.
Boom, boom, boom.
So what the fuck we need something out of stuff?
Nah, because we should have called the authorities on this nigger, first of all.
We call the authority.
Okay, well, then they should have...
Okay, well, then he should have did it when he walked out.
But this is your man though.
This is your man.
Steph, this is your man.
That's a grown ass man with kids.
You're a own ass man with kids and a wife.
Like, he's going to do what he's on.
We're on a team.
Okay, okay, and you don't think he said something
to him.
Team first.
Like that, like that, what is Step-offs to do a press conference
with them two on the side of him in the middle?
If I'm a leader.
He wants to be fucking Don King?
Nah.
Like, is he a promoter?
They didn't ask that man.
Nothing happened.
It was just talking and all that.
That's exactly what happened.
That's what Steph did.
The team, we're talking.
Okay, you're talking.
I like what I love Steph.
but he do sometimes got to talk like step up for your teammates young fella young fella like
like drayman know he was wrong he shouldn't hit him like that you know we all seen it on tape
you all seen it on tape and young people always talking you know but you don't put your hands on
them like that that saves a lot so you don't think he said that like you don't think they had a meeting
you don't think they had any meeting and Steph just sat there and was just like it was there
that Steph let that shit ride off his soap
That don't even sound right
That sounds fucking crazy
When they asked you
And I know they asked them
Okay
So before the video came out
They asked them
So this is before
Okay so now as a leader
I'm gonna protect it nah man
You know it was nothing
We didn't think the video gonna come out
They didn't ask them no more after that though
When the shit came out
You know why they didn't ask them?
Why? Don't ask Steph
I ain't got nothing to do with this
Listen, the guy who hit him, he already apologized in front of the whole world.
What you want me to do?
I'm supposed to be Captain Sabah.
What the fuck is this?
I've been saving this franchise.
This franchise is worth $10 billion.
Hit him.
That ain't got shit to do with me.
You don't owe me.
He could have still been there and doing the same thing.
Who?
Doing pool.
They should have never traded Clay.
That's the problem.
Let Clay go to the ground.
You ain't speak up for Clay.
How do we know this?
We know, because it ain't on wax.
We can't pull it up.
We can't pull it.
I think Clay told Stelle's according to reports that,
nah, whatever they're going to do, they're going to do
I don't need you to speak.
So they had a conversation.
Why do y'all want him to sit at the press conference
and answer all these goddamn questions?
Because you burning my fucking house down.
You're burning my house down.
Steve Kerr, you're burning my house down.
You've seen the greats do it?
No.
Because we've seen the greats do it.
The great deal.
You want to speak up for pipping and robbing and all them.
Kobe.
Mm-hmm.
We've seen, yeah, we've seen it.
So you think Jordan has went out there and talked about
stuff that happened inside?
To the public?
Yep.
Because they asked him about Dennis Robbman.
I believe a 10-part series.
Yes.
Yeah.
Okay.
The last dance.
Okay.
Okay.
So with that being said, so does that be it saying?
Can we wait for their documentary then?
Nah.
Why we got to know now?
Let's just wait for the documentary.
I just want to hoop shit.
Like, KV, I just want a hoop.
I don't want to be the leader, leader.
I just want to hoop shit.
But how do we know that?
Okay, so did Steph say anything when he was there when y'all played together?
Like when y'all was going on this championship run,
Did he say anything?
Like, or was he just, okay?
Yeah, yeah.
Okay.
But, like, when KD got caught with the burner account.
Okay.
It was, like, awkward for, like, a week or so,
because nobody said nothing.
Like, you just walk in there.
Wait, the burner account happened with the Warriors?
Yeah.
Okay, so that was the first time.
Yeah.
Okay.
But he wasn't talking about nobody on the team,
but it's just like, damn,
he got a burner account.
It was everywhere.
Okay.
And then the locker room was just quiet, you know?
Okay.
Okay.
Like, then, like, fuck.
Say so.
Okay.
I mean, he's just in your head.
You're like, well, he got a burner.
I know he's talking something about me.
Yeah, I know he's going crazy on me.
Like, somebody's got to say something.
Somebody said, what's up with that burn?
Yeah, like.
So you want Steph to say something?
No, I don't understand.
I mean, J-Mont probably said something, right?
Hmm.
So there it is.
Well, Jemont said plenty, didn't he?
He's the reason why the nigga left.
He does have a podcast that is very well,
view this
a property.
It's just
karma.
That's all I'm just
saying.
This shit
hey,
you can't go around
throwing shit
around, punching
niggas around
moving motherfuckers around
without your ass
moving around too.
You can't hold a nigger down
without being down with them.
Come on, man.
But what I can't say
about their dynasty
is that
they did,
they have shown
that a dynasty
like them
can win by shooting a jumper.
You know what I'm saying?
Like,
they changed the game for sure.
For sure.
It was a positionless team.
They changed the game.
You know, they also shown that being unselfish and moving a ball, you can be any defense
of team.
That's a great defense team.
The three point line has, as you see, is like, is what they've done with the three point
line is a copycat lead.
If we look at Boston, as many threes that they shoot.
So with their dynasty, they definitely have shown the level of champions.
And they actually have changed the game.
because the game was taught to us to throw the ball inside to the big man, play inside and out.
But they just played around a three-point line and they were successful.
Shout out to Mark Jackson for seeing it for what it was.
Shout out to Mark.
Being able to see the Splass Brothers for what they were.
It's a good thing, man.
I'm with that.
I'm with that.
I love what Mark Jackson did, but you can't say that and one person took them over to hump, too.
just like when we say
with Chonsie Billers
got Portland
but this year
with Wethical
they're in the first round
of the playoffs
and they got an all-star
Like Steve Kurt did
bring his offense
and stuff
Chanty Bill's
I think coached the first game
of the season
before the federal
gambling probe
so this more or less
was his team
before Tiago Splitter
took over
and he took it
same people
held it down
but was different
I wasn't winning
They won a championship.
They're on a
Tomson.
There was a big difference in that.
Losing in the first round, second round,
winning in the championship is a big difference too.
Oh, you're talking about Warriors?
Yeah.
That's a big difference.
That's a hell of a difference.
Your talent, pool, what you did
from when you were actually establishing
these guys' confidence and getting them
to believe that they can do this together.
And all that got you to lose in the playoffs.
Yeah, because we're building something.
And you fire me and you hand off what we're building to someone else.
And then they just take what I built and they go to the races.
Fire that person if you believe he was going to take you over the hump.
Yeah, you fire because he was on the corner preaching and shit.
Don't matter.
Spreading the gospel.
Yeah, it matter.
They didn't like that.
Steve Kerr is in the crib, knitting sweaters and shit.
No Bible's in his house.
Steph loves preaching.
Yeah, not that much.
Not that much.
Yes, he do.
Not that much.
I'm just saying.
Not that, man.
You see, I'll watch you on YouTube,
but I ain't going to show up to the goddamn congregation, nigga.
I can't be there with you.
But I watch.
I watch.
That's Steph right there.
So Steph has said, obviously, he wants to play at least a few more years
since he has a lot left in the tank,
but also said it's going to be a busy offseason
for this warrior squad moving forward.
Draymond also acknowledged that this could be the end of the road
for him as well with this warrior team
as they look to make some moves.
Obviously, got Jimmy Butler coming back next.
season, Steph, Draymond under contract.
But got to have Jimmy Butler.
Our reports that they're trying to bring in a superstar-level player, Yannis' name
has been thrown around in that mix of.
Steph can sign for two years, 134.
I mean, 137.
Where?
Seth Curry, I think this summer, right?
He can sign extension, which means that he'll be making $66 million at 38, 39,
and then 71 at 40 on the way out.
Well deserved.
Small price to play.
It's a $10 billion franchise now.
They still give him five statues.
Five home statues.
One is enough.
No, he needs more.
One is enough.
He needs more.
Just give him 30.
Give them 30.
Give them 30.
For sure.
Where was Oakland before?
Huh?
When was the Warriors before Steph?
I mean, they were still exciting to watch with Baron Davidson.
They were still.
Montaella?
Yeah, Monta.
I'm about to say the Monta Ellis Air?
Not.
Monta was.
You see him.
No.
I'm just saying they see them, but they wasn't...
No, no, not on that level.
You didn't really watch Monta.
Boy, Monta was something different, boy.
Did he win you four championships?
Yeah, he didn't win him by itself.
All of them need one.
Also, I'm not watching all work together.
All right, well, let's keep this thing moving.
Let's wrap up today with our playoff picks.
Oh, shit.
Throughout the postseason, we will be making team picks
using underdog's prediction markets,
which you can do as well.
Keep a leaderboard of the couch's picks throughout the entire playoffs.
Let's take a look at the updated standings.
No, I'm not going by this.
So.
Oh, look your swaggy down there.
Sean, you've currently jumped up into the top spot six and five record so far.
Who are you up here yesterday?
Watch out of this weekend.
I'm going to be number one.
We're up here yesterday.
Gilling's second place, two and two.
Who y'all pick yesterday?
Mr. B and Kenyan, both in third place, four and five.
Both the winners.
Swaggy, currently two and seven.
I'm three and seven.
Yeah, look at Gil.
Damn, Gil.
Trash.
Nasty, down there.
Actually, has a better record than you and say it occurs.
I'm going to do what Gil doing.
I ain't going to pick nothing.
So you're going to leave it at 2-7?
Yeah, that's nasty.
That's cool.
Eventually, y'all will be with me.
No one.
He said that he will abstain.
So we have three games.
We have three games tonight.
You got a chance to give a night.
You could be five and seven.
Massive game through Atlanta.
You could.
You could.
You could.
You could.
They took a game away from me.
I picked Orlando over Hornet.
We are still...
That was your one win, bro.
Uh-uh.
But the...
Underdog has received your protest
currently reviewing it,
taking it to an independent arbitrator.
Cool.
As long as that happen.
To review the film.
Okay, cool.
Three big games tonight.
Game three in Atlanta,
where the Knicks look to avenge their game two collapse.
Almost split down the middle
as New York has a 52% chance to win.
Hawks are at 49%
according to prediction market.
Shab will start with you.
Oh, my God.
Who was taking the series lead
in the...
Hawks, Knicks.
Playoff matchup.
First game in Atlanta?
I'm gonna go with Atlanta.
I think CJ has figured something out that he didn't see if game one.
I don't think he's seen that.
I think he's seen it game too.
Jaylon Brunson don't want them problems.
And I think Dyson Daniels can hold off Jalen Brunson a little bit.
I'm going with Atlanta.
How about yourself?
Are you going to stand or are you going to actually give a picture?
Who you got?
Let's move on to Mr. B first.
You got to be.
New York Knicks.
All you got to do, give Cat the ball.
Nix for quick.
Last game, he only touched the ball two times in the goddamn fourth quarter.
So I'm going with the Nix.
Okay.
I'm Jordan Clarkson.
Swaggy, would you like to give a pick in this game?
Don't copy me either.
I'm going with the Knicks!
We are the New York Knicks.
After we whip their ass, we taking their motherfucking strippers tonight.
We're in Atlanta.
What you mean?
Taking their ass with the thumbs up.
You're going to thumb.
Let's move their ass.
After we whoop their ass and take their ass.
Let's move on.
So the must-win game tonight for the Raptors,
they try to avoid a 3-0 series deficit in Toronto
against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Capsin won both games by double digits.
Cleveland.
58% chance to go up.
3-0.
Raptors are a 43% chance to get back into the series shot.
Who are you taking?
Cleveland.
Cleveland.
Two Cleveland.
Mr. B.
Cleveland, Bone Thugs and Harbony, 1999.
Bum, boom, bum, bum.
It's the first of the month.
Wake up.
Wake up.
Wake up, this wake up.
Hey.
Cleveland.
Yeah, we all got Cleveland.
Bone thugs in harmony.
It hurts my heart.
Busy bone, lazy bone, wish.
It's fucking Cleveland.
That's shit.
Now this third game?
So let's move on to the last game on this last night.
Maybe the best series so far, Minnesota.
In the Nuggets tonight.
In Minnesota?
Jamie Daniels been talking cash shit.
Oh, and man, I got Minnesota.
Team split.
first two games.
So Swaggy, you're going with Minnesota.
Mr. B., who you're taking?
James.
I got Denver, dog.
I'm going Denver.
I'm going Yoke it.
Denver, Wolves.
shot last but not least.
A.G.
in the building, I'm like, that's tough.
Who you got, Joe?
As you know, I'm not allowed to give my opinion on the show merely host.
I don't know.
I think J.man, Dan's might have put his team in a bad spot
running his mouth like that.
But this team does have the character of Amman, KG,
like you said, has returned to Minnesota.
I don't know that.
I think Yonkers may have to burst some babies tonight.
Just remind me.
I don't know.
I'm gonna say Nuggets, but I don't believe it with my full heart,
but I will say it.
I'm going with Minnesota.
See?
At home.
Hey,
hey, yo, since we're doing a leaderboard, like,
I think underdogs should give us, like,
whoever coming in first place,
like five grand in underdog money,
like every round?
20.
I'm saying...
Every round.
No, no, I'm just saying every round.
So, like, the first round, right?
So the first round, every round, no, every round, yes.
$20.
No, listen, every round.
Oh, I see why.
Because you ain't got a fucking chance.
Oh, okay, yeah, okay, anyways.
This thing here, $20.
I think we should do every round, every round of the playoffs, first round, second round,
and then five grand, whoever get the first round, right?
The second round, five grand, the NBA finals, 10 grand, whatever, you know, whoever was.
I see who at the top of the leader.
And then you got to put your pick.
and in the chat even having on the show.
So that's on you.
Yeah, that's what they should do too.
No, that's on you.
So we will talk to a underdog representative.
And I'm just saying, man, you know, or 10 grand, don't matter, you know.
To break bread, 100 dog, if you heard Mr. B, break bread.
Every first round.
You know what I'm saying?
On that note.
Wait, wait, wait, and tell M.K if he want to play one-on-one for work.
Who is M-K?
Yeah, who is this M-K dude?
The dude who'd be going around different countries, like, talking, playing,
bouncing the ball, they'd be fighting and they'd be fighting and stuff?
Yeah, man.
Who is, who is that?
Some content creator dude who trash is hell, who weak as hell,
who weak as hell, be going around talking shit.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah, throwing the ball of people here.
I'm hearing a lot of this YouTube basketball shit.
Man.
Yeah, he gets...
Really?
Yeah, he called Isaiah Thomas.
He called a little IT.
Yeah, I didn't like that.
Yeah, talking about IT, talking about he didn't have his shoes,
and he was scared ducking.
Man, go make a little video.
He said one of the picture was a fan.
You want to play three on three against some of the best one-on-one.
Listen, I'll tell you one thing.
Look, he tore the ball off my head.
They ain't going to be no three on three.
I'm un-defeated, man.
I'm saying.
Listen, he threw the ball off my head.
He ain't going to be no three-on-threy.
Any hosts out there that want to go one-on-one have a host off.
Gas chamber.
It smelled like pine oil.
I can host with the best of them.
And I file hard.
Keynesia.
Then I put the money up.
Whatever you be hosted.
Weak ass.
He's sorry.
Man.
Sorry as hell.
But on that note, shout out to everybody in the chat.
Shout out to everybody on this couch.
Some exciting playoff basketball tonight.
Make sure you tune in.
We will see with the update.
the leaderboards look like when we come back to the arena next week.
But this has been another episode of Gills Arena, presented by Underdog.
Whoa, whoa!
