It's good for your feet.
That's all your toes look like that.
It's good for them.
They've been dead a long time ago, but since I take the souls out, they say I got like 10 more years left on.
You extended the shelf like 10 more?

But here's what's cracking in Gil's Arena today.
SGA and Yokinjit are putting up MVP-worthy numbers this season.
But what does Joker need to do to dethrone the defending MVP?
The maps have struggled early,
but Mark Cuban is shutting down rumors that they're trading Anthony Davis.
Should Dallas shake up their roster or wait to see what they got?
And the NBA is dealing with an injury crisis that starts around the league
continue to miss games.
What can be done to fix it?

So let's get right to it.
NBA released their updated MVP rankings
for the season last week,
and there was not an American player
to be found in the top five.
Let's take a look at the full list.
So we've got Nicola Yokich
jumping up to the number one spot.
He had a 55 piece
against the Clippers recently
that helped elevate him.
Been a triple double machine.
So far this year, SGA dropped the second on the list.
Yannis was third.
Luca moved up to fourth with Wimby, rounding out the top five.
So let's talk about it.
SGA and Yon could find themselves familiar territory as MVP frontrunners
after a hotly contested MVP race last season.
And they're both going to make it a tough decision again for voters this season.
They both played last night.
Let's take a look at the highlights, start when SGA first.
Thunder were back in action against the Kings at home.
SGA came through with the team high 33 points to go along with eight rebounds,
three assists and two steals while actually playing in the fourth quarter.
SGA leaves the league in total points and is the only player in the league
with double-digit 30-point games.
He's got 13 so far this season.
He's done this while sitting out the fourth quarter in nine of the Thunder's 16 games.
They'll get buckets consistently.
Getting them with the midi
We're good to see
So his numbers
Similar to last season
So far SGA averaging 32 points
7 assists, 5 rebounds
on 53, 39, 90
shooting splits
And at 15 and 1 to start this season
The Thunder on pace to break the Warriors
Single season wins record
Doing all this without all-embae
And all defensive teamer Jalen Williams
Who's still yet to play a game
So will SGA be the first back-to-back
MVP since Joker?
Nope.
Can you say no?
They're going to get a man his trophy back.
God damn.
It can't be like both of them?
No, he's going to get a man
that's a goddamn trophy bag.
He should have got it last year.
They're going to give it back to him.
Like they did when they did with Joel.
Here you feel bad.
We fucked it up.
Ah, we fucked it up. Here you go.
Numbers better
Nah
His numbers are better
than he wore last year
So this is true
So
Yeah, he's going to get a man a trophy back
That's all
That's it
So how you review
What you can you're saying
Ultimately
Yeah, got to come up off of it
It was never here to begin with
He won it last season
It was never he is man
It was a force popular
Yeah, that's
Everybody had predetermined who they wanted to be.
That's all they were.
Beforehand.
Not disappointing people.
Motherfather comes sit right on our very couch, still games to play that has an MVP vote.
And knew who he was voting for already with games left to play.
So they already, so.
That man being Stephen A. Smith?
Absolutely.
That man being Stephen A.
N.
He said on the very couch.
He has a vote.
He came on his couch and told us who his vote was for.
And they still had games to play.
So it's obvious.
It's obvious.
So just don't get that man.
Can we ask the chat?
You definitely ask the set.
I'm going to score in, what, three quarters?
Has that the fourth quarter of nine or 16 games?
Like I said, he doesn't have a triple double in two and a half quarters.
Two and a half quarters.
He has a triple double.
Fuck 30.
30 and three quarters.
Sitting out the four.
If he could really average 40 if he want to, he ain't got his second star.
He's still in first, lost two games.
One game, 15 and one.
From that man, boy.
Who is Joker's second?
be out here chasing the MVP, stat patting like everybody else.
But he's not stat patting.
He's trying to win game.
Who could you say?
Trying to win games.
No, Nick, don't be talking.
He's seen this before. He's just been talking.
We know.
He's seen this before.
We've seen this before.
But we talk about this a lot in the arena.
Individual success stats versus team success.
You got the Thunder 15 and 1.
We've talked to Kenney.
You said you think that they can challenge the Warriors single season wins record.
So if they do that.
With the S.J. doing what he's doing.
It's going to be right back in the race.
Once again, but if Nicola continues at this pace,
it's going to be doing what he do.
So it's going to be one of them once again.
It's a two-man race.
We also got Luca in the mix as well.
It's going to be a two-man race.
We have Luca Dante, Slovenia Jesus.
He's, what, fourth?
That's my second.
Or you just skip Janus to go to the leg.
Yonis is out with the groin injury right now.
So the updated list comes out, I think, in the next 24 hours.
It should shift a little bit.
Loveni and Jesus is still active with the lose and pick neck.
Yeah.
Yeah, win be out, Janice out.
So, yeah, that's going to help Luca.
He'll be in third.
But it's a two-man race.
Shea or Lucas to lose.
Shea or Lucas to lose, Waking.
Shaky, I mean, Lucas averaging, what, 35 to the rest of the season?
Third place.
It's hard not to give it to him.
Got to take it from, Shea.
Breaking records, if he can break the voyage record.
Luke averaging 35, 9 and 9th to Park 11 games.
We've just seen this triple double four years in a row.
He didn't get it MVP four years in a row.
We've just seen this.
It's about winning.
Nuggets winning as well, though, Swig.
I will say that.
You said it's about winning?
They lost one game.
They're not winning more than the OKC, right?
You said it's about winning?
Thunder 15 to 1, number one record in Adam Silver's National Basketball Association.
Let's shift over to you, Gil.
Looking at what SGA is doing this year, numbers comparable to last season.
Thunder, a better team last season so far than they were.
for a better team this season so far than they were last season.
It's hard.
It really is because this isn't, this is.
What's happening today is because of what happened in 1980.
You know, the, you know, the,
protection of the founders of the new NBA of what we call it right so when you think
about what the NBA stood on it stood on it's standing on three men and three
men only magic bird MJ our trophies are who magic bird MJ right so when
you're saying how come no one has won three in a row is because that's what
bird did and everybody who has tried to get it who should have got it has been taken away from
him right when jordan should have got it two times in a row it he didn't get it when um
if nash got it or he was close to getting it when you're talking about um who got it after him
curry but yonis would have been the first one to get it he got that taken from him then when yokic
had it he got it taken from him twice so yokech had it he got it taken from him twice so
Yokish could have had four, guaranteed four in a row, in a possible five.
So this trophy's been, that trophy has been protected.
So, you know, looking at this is like, Yokic could have had it last year.
That would have been his third in a row.
But obviously, they're protecting history here.
That creates some conversations that a lot of people may not be ready to have.
Of course not.
So when you're looking at SGA, it's his to lose, right?
He is last year's
winner. It is his lose. What he's doing this
year is the same thing he did last
year, better percentage from
three and field goal,
playing less minutes.
But he's
doing exactly what he did to win it last year.
Yokej is up his
production and rebound and assists.
So
he has a little bit more of a fight.
Right? You know, SGA
has a better
record. So in theory,
It should look probably like this or one and two.
But it seems like it's these two unless Luca gets into that conversation of winning.
But this is going to go all the way down to the end if everybody's healthy.
I mean, I can't pick one.
I'm sorry, I can't.
Me, if I have to pick it today, I'm going to look at the stats and say I'm giving it to SGA
because you're not doing anything that you didn't do last year.
And if you didn't give it to last year with the numbers he has this year, right?
and his team is one, I'm going to favor him because you didn't knock him out.
And that's it.
I mean, you're not knocking him out to get it.
So I'm like, I'm just going to give it back if we had to stop today.
But both them, it's, this is really a 49.5 type of, type of look.
This ain't no clear.
So these niggas is both bawling.
I can't.
These niggas is both balling?
I can't.
I can't do it to you.
Some more.
But let's, I'm going to get to Jokic real quick.
then we will continue this conversation, but I think we need to talk about what he's doing.
So you've all previously said, Joker, best basketball player in the world.
That's different than MVP, of course.
He's putting together another monster season this year with his new look Nugget Squad.
Trending on potential record-breaking season.
So Joker came through with his third straight in league leading 10th, triple double,
and a win against the Pelican's Wednesday.
Doing things like that.
28, 11 rebounds, 12 assists.
Did have nine turnovers in the game just to give you a full context.
perspective.
I don't care.
That wasn't one of them.
That wasn't one of them.
That was not.
Neither was this one.
None in this highlight.
We gotta get some love to Payton Watson as well had career highs with 32 points.
12 rebounds.
Also got to give some love to Pell's Ricky, Derek Queen.
Damn.
Gave Yokin to 30 pieces as well with Joker saying he can see some similarities in his game to Queen.
Oh, Lord.
Dimeon?
Huh?
Yeah.
30.
I know.
I know Philly's in there like, damn, right?
Could have.
Junker said, yeah, he kind of, he kind of looked like me a little bit.
You had to replace me just a little.
But, I mean, when you see a big man doing the things that Jokker is doing on the court like this.
Oh, man, hey, die me out.
Yeah.
He's center, but.
Yolkich average, 29 points, 13 rebounds, 11 assists on 6440, 86 shooting splits, leading the league in assist and rebounds.
currently on pace for the highest player efficiency rating in NBA history.
For context, Yannis, I think has the second highest rating this season in NBA history.
SGA, third highest rating, all the time of NBA history this season.
There are one, two, three.
So far, Nuggets are currently second in the West with a record of 11 and 4.
So we talked about it.
First Senator, average, triple double last season, did not get the MVP.
What does Joker need to do to dethrone SGA to reclaim the title as the most valuable player in the NBA?
Nothing he can do.
Just keep playing back.
Just keep saying.
Play 65 games.
Just say him.
I mean, it's hard.
It's hard.
64, 40, 86.
They balling, man.
Like, they balling.
Like, it's...
They balling.
This is not...
These people out, man.
They're playing at a different speed.
Like, this shit is so slow for them that, like,
they are playing at a, like, different frequency
than the rest of the league, man.
Like I don't want to vote right now.
I'm sorry.
I wouldn't feel comfortable either way.
You know, they both have an argument.
That's why they skipped.
Nuggets 11 and 3, Thunders 11 and 3, Thunder 15 and 1.
That's what I'm saying.
Because they're both actually doing better than last year's start off,
it's like I don't feel comfortable voting right now if I had to.
So I'll just be like, fuck it.
Luca.
Keep me, Luca, I just
just put the difference.
Be personal.
Don't get enough respect for what you're doing.
Like I said,
on pace to have the highest player
of Fincy rating
in the history of the National Basketball Association.
Small market team.
Doesn't matter.
No one cares.
All right.
That's what they say.
Just making sure.
I think I think all those guys,
except for one,
It was all smart market.
So nobody should really care.
True.
I just kind of look at Tyree's Maxi's numbers,
and I say, damn, don't they look exactly like Chase?
He's not even on the list?
A lot of guys balling.
We just overlooked the game as much as we should.
Give credit to two guys because it's popular opinion.
Especially if these guys are small markets.
Imagine if they were in big markets.
We wouldn't be talking about nobody.
Just be watching two teams.
So, as good as they're playing, as well as Joker.
I mean, Joker is showing skill to the next exponential level.
Who?
What place is Philly in?
They got like six wins.
So should he be in the MVP talk?
Does the record, Matt, we've had this discussion before.
So sixers are currently eight and six, eighth in the east.
Eight, my bad game.
Yeah, but eighth in the east right now.
But we talk about this all right again.
So where's he at, Maxi?
They're tied for eight because it's like 17.
Where's Maxie in voting?
Probably what, like 10.
So I think Maxie is in the top 10 of the MVP ladder.
Makes sense.
Right now.
K to six, right?
Eight, six.
He'll move up to, he'll probably move up to four.
There's other two out.
Yeah, he'll probably move up to four.
Are they 10 and two?
I think, I think Maxi is seven, right?
Or Maxi is eight.
Eighth, so Dominic Mitchell was seven,
Maxi was eighth in the last NBA.
But his team, but his team success.
They got eight wins.
Is it the numbers or the teams?
This is both?
Both.
It's like their true shooting percentage shit, right?
I did not invent that just for the-
I know, no, I'm saying, but it's like their true shooting percent of shit, right?
It all goes in the same boat and it's, so it all matters.
So your team success versus your individual success, I think they put it together and that's
how they get to what they got.
So do you put in positions too, the position in to make it tough?
Why?
Um, I think it's a more guard-driven league.
Not this NBA.
Yeah.
I think the matchups that Shay go up against every night are far more better than the
matchups that Joker go up against every night.
Still a big driven league.
But I'm just saying, he's doing that to Maxi.
Three of the top five guys.
And if he voting, they're big.
They're big.
They're big.
He's a big.
He's a big.
All right.
Yoke is a big.
Wembe's a big.
I know.
I know.
I know.
Do we know if that is actually part of the criteria, like, who you actually go against?
No, it's not.
No, it's not.
Do we know that the team wins actually matter?
What's the top team?
Biggs Joker Club.
And B won the chance.
And B won the MVP, and it was a top team.
Like, when it seems all weird.
What would be be factored in?
Why would it be?
It seems to be weird.
The goal team to ship.
It seems to be weird a lot.
Because they don't go.
Everybody's to the thing.
Everybody switches picking rolls, everybody's don't play individual debilings.
It's not like you one-on-one matchups daily.
They switch so much.
But you're not switching on this.
When Nicole is going against Biggs every time, the only time that he doesn't go against
a big win, they play in Oklahoma City when they're at Caruso Gardner.
Any other time, the coldest playing against a five.
What's the name of the award?
What's the name of the?
What's the name?
Most valuable player?
Not most valuable mismatch?
Yeah.
That matters.
I'm going out seeking out who you want to play defense against.
If I'm going up and he ain't got to get tired.
Right.
Let me see who's the weakest defender right here and run seven picking rolls.
You do pick on the weakest defender.
That's how you win games.
You pick on the weakest defender.
Well, guess what?
The big guy got to go against the five men.
Every time.
That's the weakest person.
Every night.
No, no.
If it's not joking.
No, not when the point guard has the ball in hand mostly, except this situation.
It's positionless now.
It's position.
I mean, positionless basketball.
Joker bringing the ball up.
Okay, but he's still a center.
He's still a center.
Next is a center.
I'm saying, I'm not a center.
That's top 10 that can compete with him.
He's a center.
And B is gone.
Okay.
But they got to do with his skill set.
That's what I, you know what?
So all the other players that are playing well are not really considered as MVP can.
I wish I could.
Kay, marketing.
Kay is in the top.
Donovan Mitchell.
Donald Mitchell is top 10.
Top 10.
Yeah, but do.
Maxie 8.
Yonis is out right now.
Wimby is out right now.
Wembe is out.
So about is going to move up.
Some other two, who is in six and Luca going to move up to three.
Cade is four.
Cade is four and then Donnerville, he'll be five.
Because there's small market, we don't mention their name is really as like,
true candidate.
No, they're just top five right now.
They're not, they're not on six through team.
This is like Cade is move up.
This is tier two Thursday here at Gilles three,
they're number one.
They're number one.
I'm saying K missed three games.
So he's back now, so.
Isn't Shay in them number one in the West?
Yeah.
15 and 1.
And then Cade and them are what?
10 and 2.
13 and 2 right now.
What it was 13.
So second and overall in the NBA.
And he's not in the top 5.
Now you're not in the new one's coming out.
He is.
So I think new this will come out Friday.
There'll be some adjustment.
John is Wimby will be out the mix.
We just talking about it today.
We're not working tomorrow.
We are.
I'm just saying if you know.
If you have a vote, I mean, if you have a vote and you got the NBA package, I mean, I'm pretty sure.
There's a whole bunch of teams you're just not watching.
He's just going to be looking at the piece of paper.
Oh, okay, he did well, okay.
You did what he's supposed to.
Yeah, he did.
He got his average.
Cool, you know.
I'm pretty sure you're usually voting on the people that you see on TV.
A lot of them do all the time.
Go to that point.
Kay Cunningham, Pissons has won 11 straight games.
He did miss the previous three before they got their win recently,
but does that not mean anything?
It does.
I'm just asking.
You got him to that point.
You got him to that point.
That's why he was sick.
Yeah.
Right?
It wasn't like he wasn't mentioned at all.
Like, I mean, if he's six.
If you actually watch every game, he's back now and that age?
I'm pretty sure K to be up there.
And they won three years in a row since he's been back, right?
They won three in a row since he's been back.
They won 11 straight.
He missed three.
He came back and he won.
He played the last game.
So he's back in the next.
When dude came on the show, right?
He was like, I'm going to vote for dude.
You think other people was putting pressure on him to do that?
Like popular opinion, like the fans and everybody.
He said his mind made up.
No, that's what I'm saying?
because of that.
No.
Because of the people
were kept
these people
saying it,
these people saying
if I say something
different,
they're going to be like,
man,
you're hating.
No,
I think he had
just,
his mind,
especially if he's not
watching the games,
right?
He's watching him play.
Is he watching him play?
Or are we pre-deciding?
He was on this very couch
here in Gil's arena
percent of a hundred-dollar-woo-
I thought he was
I thought he was playing
a solitary game,
to be honest.
I thought he's what he'd do.
They could have said this here,
right?
You can ask
the question of a person.
Yeah, I think, yeah.
You could ask these questions in person.
He said that he talks to a lot of people around the league to help formulate his opinion.
I'm little you.
How can you do that, though?
The same.
So that's my thing.
So that shit makes no sense to be whatsoever.
I talk to Kenya.
He said younger for 10 people.
Yeah, like, yeah, like, why do you formulate, why do you ask questions around the league to formulate your opinion on who you're going to vote for MVP?
Should it be what you see it?
Who's playing with?
Well, what the, like, shouldn't it be that?
Why am I going around asking GMs and coaches and scouts,
like what they think when it's my vote?
I'm missing some of the shit.
Because it's not your vote.
That part.
It's our vote.
Now I get what you're saying.
That's what I'm saying.
Yeah, now I get what you're saying.
Some people don't give what I'm saying.
I get what you saying in that regard.
You understand English over there, boy?
No, I'm a little stupid.
Yeah, you know, I'm just a steep.
You need sign language.
That's what you need.
Yeah, I know
I know
I know
I know
I know
I know
I know
whatever you're like
when you talk
I know
I can't talk
real English to you
he's slavre when you talk
because
he's not a real boy
yeah
watch more games
than them other people
like
former players
watch more games
than actual media do
you know what I'm saying
like
if
former players
had the obligation
responsibility of voting for like the Heisman and the Wooden Award, which I get a vote
of course.
Yeah.
I get a vote.
My father does as well.
And you guys do not collaborate on that Wooden Award vote.
You pick your Wooden Award winner.
He picks it.
Yeah.
So if you win the war, yeah, you get a vote.
And the membership to the L.A. Athletic Club is what I'm talking about?
Yeah.
So those awards, the former winners get a vote.
And that vote matters.
So that's your way in where people are actually watching guys.
play, right? So I just think media is they biased to the guys that's in the area, to big
markets, and they're not watching the game, and a lot of them really don't understand the
game. It's a popularity contest in a lot of these situations. It's on who they like, who
they don't like at times. The guy could be playing great, but if he didn't give you an interview
or he walked out on you or something under that nature, then you're not going to vote for
Because if people are sensitive, man, and it gets in the way of the process.
In the same time, but I think everybody think they vote is more important than the next, too.
Everybody think their opinion is more important than the next.
So if I pick him and you don't pick him, you'll be mad type shit.
So there's no right or wrong way in voting.
If I like Shay, you're mad that I like Shay.
I should pick Joker to you.
That's crazy.
So you want me to change my opinion
Well, I like
No, I'm a vote who I want to vote for
No, the problem with the
You vote for you want to vote for
But tell us why
Tell me why you vote for
Yeah, don't just say I like him
Tell us why you like it
Don't tell me you collect the data
Around the little
Don't tell me you want to talk to other people
To get to your vote
Why is he the best suited for the award?
That's the way I feel
I want to do it
So what's all with me asking question
Like, is this the right way to vote?
No, but why is that important?
Why?
Why not?
Because it's who you like, right?
No.
It's that who's your favorite player, right?
So how are you going to tell me because I'm going to say?
It's because I like it.
Because you can't explain why.
It's the same thing.
Because you can't explain why.
It's the same thing as who's your favorite player.
Say why.
So the MVP vote is the same thing as who's your favorite player of all time, right?
Whoever your favorite player of all time is nobody can change your opinion of that,
no matter what they say to you.
I like them because I like them.
I like them because I like them.
I don't know how to vote.
But I'm saying, but that's the way it should go.
Whoever you like is who you like is who you love.
like for MVP. Nobody else's
opinion should waver that.
I just like his style.
I like what he's doing for his team.
Like the way he moves.
Because it's only a certain amount of guys
that fit that criteria anyway.
You're being honest
about the criteria.
If I like a player that's number one.
The five players that they have up there right now.
If we've been honest about the criteria,
they are deserving to be in the top
five MVP conversation.
I mean, there's no criteria.
But that you go by.
That's wins, all that.
Who makes it look the easiest?
No, but I'm saying, but we know we ain't blind.
People are not.
No, but I'm saying.
But the problem, the problem with the MVP is there's no set criteria.
I understand.
Boy, it should be what the points, what you average per game, team success, shooting percentages, all where your team, all those things.
The rest of your players on your team?
Like, it should be something.
It's an unripped.
It's an unripped.
It's an unwritten criteria.
It's not written down on paper,
but voting in what you see is a fucking common sense.
Ultimately, this is a common sense thing.
Who is the best player that I've seen play in this league for 82 games?
It's a common sense thing.
You shouldn't have to write it down.
She average 30 last year.
He shot 50-something percent from the field,
30 was 8 from 3, 90 from the line,
It's team one, semi-game, like, it's fucking common sense, right?
What they did during the regular season, he affected that.
He's doing the exact same thing this year at a higher clip, playing less minutes,
all the things that you said.
So it shouldn't have to be written down for you to know that this is the criteria
for this guy to be an MVP conversation.
Yonis is in it every year that he,
LeBron was in it every year because of what he was doing for Cleveland.
So it shouldn't have to be written down.
For people to use fucking common sense, but they don't watch enough games to really know this.
So that's why it's only the certain people conversation that's always in it, right?
The thing that you got Joker, right, first senator averaged for triple double last season.
Doing that again this season, more efficiently than he did last season.
Yes.
But you got SGA, 6814 last year.
But he's doing the same thing he did.
But that team may end up winning 70 plus game.
He's in the conversation again, though.
You know what the common sense thing is you look at the numbers.
You saw what he did last year.
He was in MVP conversation last year, right?
even if you didn't watch him play all year
you look at the numbers you look compared
him last year you're like oh fuck he's playing
bay played bay at a better season
automatically he's going
in the MVP conversation
because of the number that doesn't equate to
team success that doesn't equate to who's playing
the best basketball this
year it was the most
I hear you but everybody's not watching though
who's playing the best basketball
you're not all watching this year not last
year not oh he's doing the same
thing he was doing last year it's
Who came in this year is playing the best basketball that we've seen
out of all the players that are playing great.
Oh, Shay, you're playing exactly the way you played last year.
Cool.
Joker, you're playing the way you played last year just a little bit better.
There are a lot of guys that, remember when KG won it?
There was other guys that was playing great.
AI won it.
Other guys playing great.
Tim Duncan won it.
Charles Barkley won it.
It was number one.
They didn't go on to win the chance.
championship, but they won the MVP, KD, playing out of his mind when he won it.
Russ, James Harden, they all got MVP.
It didn't go on to win the championship, but it was not a back-to-back thing either.
It wasn't, oh, they were playing so good each season.
We're considering them again next season to win it because they didn't.
Because it's who's playing the best basketball this season.
But in this situation, nobody actually.
Is playing better than Shea or Nicola?
I think it's better than just Nicola by himself.
Like, I don't think the way he's playing the 50s.
You think Jay's playing better than Joker right now.
No, I think Joker's playing the best.
They're playing the best basketball.
They should have a better record if he's playing the man.
What's so funny is that when Hardin won, well, Hardin, the last American MVP of him.
Hardin was minus, or he was, he came in second place, first, second.
So when he won it, he averaged 30.
when damn they went down
when he lost he average 29
11 and 8 when he won
he average 38 and 5
when
he lost again he average 36
7 and 6
which he should have won if we were looking
at the metric he won when they was in first place
in front of the lawyers
and that's what you constantly
talk about I think they should have
I think whoever these voters are
instead of being in your house voting
just writing numbers down,
writing whatever, because that's who you like,
whatever.
There should be a sit down.
There should be a conversation
and they sit down and they discuss it all together.
Right now, you just get mailed to your house
and then you write your shit in
and then you send it in
and then they tally it up
and then from there we don't know what's going on.
So you think it has to be a criteria.
I think it, because if you just send
100 people there's shit,
I write what we want.
But ain't the MVP folk normally
the top one or two teams
unless you're doing something like Westbrook
No, not necessarily.
You vote for you, again, you vote for who you want to vote for.
When Nicola won his first when they were shit.
Todd, right?
No, they had the 10th, they had the 5th and the 10th
best record in the NBA.
Yeah, when he won it.
So it don't.
He had the fifth best record in NBA
and did the 10th best record in NBA
when he won two of his.
So that's, but that's rare, though.
It's really rare.
Only Westbrook won that.
It's rare, though.
Yeah, him in Westbrook, yeah.
And it's normally the one, two,
maybe three if they're all tied type of record but it should be the impact that you're having as
well like i think jkid got jerked out of his we're gonna shock on us favorite
oh one or two oh two oh three season oh one no he's playing great basketball right
ain't that how that's hot lebron it was number one or double our team wins made it to the
Neither another.
You're playing great basketball you consider it.
So is the choice stay at number one, he should be in the top.
Three?
Hmm?
Cade.
If they stay number one, they use.
If Cade is...
Yeah.
At the end.
He doesn't know.
It all depends on what you value.
Right now, he should be at three at worse.
What's his number?
What's his numbers?
What's his numbers?
They should be at three.
That's what I'm saying.
The way the team is built.
team is built.
But who you have on your team?
That's what I'm saying there should be a criteria like, okay, so like let's say Luca, right?
You have a LeBron James on your team and you have Austin Reeves, right?
But LeBron hasn't been here, so is Austin Reeves better than Duran and all that stuff?
So everything should be, everything should be counted as part of it, but it's not.
You send me my vote, you send me a vote.
I don't get, you can have the question here you are, you want.
Because at the end of the day, if you have a criteria and we have to go by this, what the fuck you need my vote for anyway?
Yeah, KD.
Just let a computer do it.
Yep.
Right?
But obviously, you're just seeing everybody's different opinions and then you collect them all together anyway.
Yep.
You think that when you chat, GVT?
No.
Who should we vote for?
Jokeet average 27, 10 assists, five rebounds, so forth.
What?
27 10 and 5.
27 and 5.
27 and 5.
Who happens that?
Those 10 assists.
Yeah, he should be a .
Ah, damn.
Right?
Now, what's Shee averaging 10?
He's averaging 32, 8, and 5.
32.5.
It would be 32.7 and 5.
32.
6 and 5.
6 and 5.
That's last 6.
But you round it up to you.
32, 6.5 and 6 good.
You know and gives what you're going to round upwards.
Those assists make up for points on Kay's side when you try to balance out the sheet for
K's conversation to be in an MVP right now.
Shee, I'm technically, he's the only one.
Who?
Who?
Top who?
Shay?
I feel like in Joker.
Just from the team aspect.
It'd be number one and I think he's the only one at.
Nobody see Detroit being number one.
And he's talking about the guys around you in comparison.
Yeah, that's what I'm talking.
Look at that team.
A lot of guys are hurt right now, a lot of key role.
So even think about that.
But you look at the Thunder, you got Jaylon Williams who's been out.
But remember, Jaylon Williams is both sides of the ball.
Both sides of the ball.
Exactly.
But they also have guys that make up for that on OKC that play defense, right, that can just hold the fort down.
When you look at the Pistons, it's just him and Durdon, Stuart.
Yep.
You got a couple.
Is Thompson hurt or are he playing?
So he missed four games.
I think he's come back recently.
But during that 11-win stretch, a lot of those guys have been.
You wouldn't look at them and say they should be number one in the east off-off-brip based on how the east is.
is a symbol. For him to be the leader of that and have the numbers that he's having,
what is he shooting from the field? Who's, uh, Kay? He's got to be shooting 48. Like 43, 44%
but let me double. Hey, I can see why he's six. He's shooting 44% from the field, but only
28% from three. From three? So his, his efficiency is down. They only beat one real
team. That is, I mean, you play? The only team they beat that was Rockets.
So it's strength of schedule, too.
Yeah, everybody else.
Even though we all played everybody.
I got to see what they were ranked,
whose favorite when they did play,
when it was matching up, right?
You know, Boston, they lost to Cleveland.
They beat the Magic.
Boston's a better team.
They beat Mavericks, obviously, Grizzlies, jazz, nets,
76ers, Wizards, Bulls.
There's a lot of football in the league right now.
Pacer's, hawks.
All right, so it's like, you know.
They just planned it up.
But he's six.
He's six about to be four.
And they beat the NBA teams.
They did not make their schedule.
They really showed up for those games.
They beat NBA teams, man.
I mean, for him.
No, I mean, that's the same as like the Lakers schedule.
No, no, he's not going to be able to.
But it's who they're playing, right?
Who they're beating.
Exactly what you just said, exactly what you just said,
as far as the teams that the Lakers have played.
And one is six.
They're balling, right?
And one is six.
A gritty team.
Suns playing very well right now.
Suns, Mavs, Kings.
Yes.
One is six.
Blazers.
Grizzlies.
Heat.
Blazers.
Gritty.
Hawks, hornets.
So one is six.
A lot of them are better than they're out of the game.
Beaks.
Beat the buck.
Jazz.
Like, I mean, you're talking about.
I'm just saying, but if we're going to place,
if we're going to place God based on strength of schedule, let's make it even.
Okay.
He sticks with his record and his numbers,
and the other one is 35-9-9-9 with his schedule.
He's fourth.
The West is stronger, though.
Six and six.
Six and six.
Y'all's schedule just as worse as ours.
You don't mean no fucking grace?
But I average four.
Actually, you're playing a lot worse teams, putting up numbers on bad teams to get your averages.
I'm averaging more, so I'm up and playing.
Because you're playing against worst teams.
That's why you average it more.
It's just a little bit.
That makes sense.
It's not like we're talking about 12 and 4, we're talking about right there.
Maxi is the same numbers of shades, though.
My argument before.
Why is Maxie not mentioned?
Because they got eight wins.
It don't matter.
They do.
They strength of schedule.
They're playing harder teams.
The years you've been in the league?
Who's playing harder at you?
The Snakesers.
Everybody they play his heart is better than that.
They ran to get MVP.
3285 for Tommy's Maxi.
In and out of lineup, minutes restriction.
I'm just saying.
What are we talking about?
Let's talk who.
It's like, let's bring it all full circle.
Yeah, just 32, 8 and 5.
32, 8 and 5 shooting 40.
Is he shooting like 47%?
42% from the field, 42% from 3.
What is he on that list?
Hmm?
I believe 8th on that.
Eighth with a record of what?
8 and 6.
He's doing good.
Strength of schedule.
He should be number one.
We can go the next time.
All right, well, let's a good segue.
Let's keep this thing moving.

Very nice.
All right, well, if I talk about an issue the NBA has been dealing with.
There is an injury crisis this season that is impacting stars around the league.
So let's take a look at just how bad it's gotten.
So the underdog, whoop.
NBA account posted this list of injured players on Tuesday,
and it's longer than a cheesecake factory menu.
So Tom Haberstrow detailed just how bad things have.
gotten on the injury front recently in an article for Yahoo Sports, pointing out NBA
stars have already missed over 200 games this season due to injury or illness, doubling the
total at this point two years ago. The NBA classified the stars any player that made an
All-Star or All-NBA team in any of the previous three seasons. And based on a 12-game
sample size, star players appeared in 87% of their games in 2023, 24. That number dipped
down to about 83% last season is now at 68% this season. And even if you exclude Tatum,
High League, Kyrie and Dame.
Thank you.
Number is still at 75% King.
I see you.
I've seen you.
I put that in there for you already.
Are these just the people that's injured?
I appreciate you.
That are missing, yeah, people that are missing games.
Just players.
Appreciate you.
So, stars.
So there's like 45 people that.
You said stars, but you have this list.
Of people that are injured.
We are back.
Oh, okay.
He says notable players, man.
God.
Notable players.
This is coming from underdog NBA.
Fuck.
He said stars.
I didn't even look up there.
I just looked at them.
So this was from Tuesday
Some of these players are back in action
But if you just look at the names there
There is an injury crisis going on around the league
Impacting stars as well
Same people injured
As Raykenfall player
As well as future stars
My question is
How many of them guys up they got the same injury?
Mm-hmm
I think people injured
There's a lot of injuries
There's a lot of calves
A lot of calves and hammies up that bitch man
Man
Calf
Hey we're gonna go back to it
A lot of calves.
Caves and hammies, man.
A few ronas.
I'm talking about?
Same people.
Andrew, bro.
Hey, listen, you know what it is.
Every year is the same work.
Hey.
Not drinking.
Going to bed on time.
Drink liquor, smoke, dope.
Going to Bible study.
Anthony Davis.
Same people over and over.
Eat pork.
Get pork.
Go on the Bible study.
Not eating pork.
30. I'm telling you.
Going to bed at a reasonable hour.
I was trying to figure out what kind of pork you was talking about.
My kind of pork.
You know my kind of pork.
Well, all right at this.
You know, that's a lot.
I was like, yeah, eat that for it, but no, I don't know what that up to shit.
That's wine.
That's wine there, man.
That's fine there, bud.
So in response to this growing issue,
in response to this growing issue, the NBA is launching a lead-wide biomechanics assessment program
testing hundreds of players throughout the season in an attempt to reduce injuries moving forward.
Just telling you what they're doing.
So so far, this season, like you mentioned.
You know what that's going to lead to?
What?
More injuries.
Fuck.
You know what I'm doing them saying, them bullshit, testing to all that shit.
It's going to lead to more injuries, because they don't think that shit work.
So far, season, we've seen players around the league dealing with cap strains, leg-related injuries.
We talked about the shortened training camp being a cause for some of these injuries early in the season,
previously on Gills Arena presented by Underdog.
But we also got to talk about increased pace and floor spacing,
because that also seems to be playing a major part.
Let me just give you the numbers, then y'all can get into it.
According to the league, the average player speed is 4.43 miles per hour per game.
Teams are combining for an average game distance of 34.2 miles traveled, both of which are record highs.
So what impact has the increased pace around the league had on injuries?
None.
None whatsoever.
Anthony Davis came in over overweight, didn't he?
He appeared to be 15 pounds heavier than he was a legist training camp.
And he said, it's Texas barbecues.
This is how I usually do it.
I lose the weight in training.
Yeah.
Right.
I normally come out heavier so I can...
The question is, how many of these players adopt this same mentality
of ramping up as the season goes?
Because they feel like, you know, Andre Miller said the same similar things.
He always had that body fat.
He got in shape as the season went.
I feel like certain guys are coming in
and they have to adjust to the pace.
How can you actually manipulate that pace during the summer
if you're not at Rico runs every single day,
you're not playing at that pace.
You're really resting, you're going and traveling,
you're doing all that kind of stuff.
And we know that we pace ourselves differently
based on knowing that we need to be ready for training camp.
You don't do the Julees and stuff no more.
You don't do none of that.
But when they go to the Juleleague,
how hard are they actually playing?
How hard are they playing everybody?
Like, the shit that guys have done, man, hit,
like, the season was over.
You take your little time off, man.
You get your body together.
These dudes, they don't take no time.
time off, for one, they continue, they're going back
and working on their game as soon as the season's
over. They ain't taking no time off.
But they ain't
working on the things like they body.
They're just working on their game.
You're eating right and just
doing the power, made to cry, all that.
That shit is cool for recovery.
Right.
Like, yeah. Not maintaining.
Not maintaining. And breaking
your fibers down, man,
like you got to work. Like, some
of them dudes, I ain't said all the dudes, but the dudes
that's running in the sand and
doing all that pushing themselves.
Them dudes don't get hurt like that.
Like them young,
like they're doing them kind of
them different workouts.
Steph out there is still doing the same.
They ain't,
they don't.
Still running.
The dudes that's been doing it for a long,
the dudes ain't.
You work on your game, Nick, yeah.
Basketball.
You fly all types of night.
You practice all day.
You play basketball.
They're not practicing.
In the out of cities.
You're going to get hurt.
They're not practicing.
But remember the engine you talk about,
though.
It's a part of basketball.
But most part.
But what type of.
So Sebastian made a good point
to the guy back here
So Sebastian made a good point
We don't hear the saying
anymore
Are you hurt or are you injured?
Yeah
That's not a thing anymore
If you hurt
You still can play
If you hurt you still can play
If you're injured you can't play
So that's the difference
Right
We played through being hurt
We played through little nicks and knacks
And shins you get your shin
He's got a bump knot on your shin.
It's expected, though.
It's a little Charlie horse, you know what I'm saying?
There's a little thing like that.
Now that these dudes, they're not allowing them to play through it for one.
So they don't know how to deal.
Pain threshold.
They ain't got no pain threshold.
They don't know how to fight through it.
So I love it, but it's a built-up tolerance, man.
You sprang your ankle, right?
You sprang your ankle.
How many of these sprained ankles have we seen?
Oh, shit.
Yeah, Jane of Bresson, who will talk about in the moment who just came back,
He missed a couple games.
Yeah, that's a couple games, right?
But if you really sprain your ankle, it might be a couple games.
Might be one game, maybe two.
But you know what, we know what to do, get in there and do all the good strength in the shit.
You know what I'm saying?
Make sure I can run and walk on in cool.
But we're looking at different injuries that have nothing to do with somebody stepping on somebody's foot.
You know, I might sprain my knee.
I might get a Charlie horse, but these guys are just strange.
He's a hip flexors and abdominal.
I told the story yesterday, right?
They have for cramps and shit, too, though.
So I told the story yesterday, we play in Philly, right?
Cramps, illness,
got thatitis.
We're playing in Philly.
Go up the block a shot, get my legs, somebody hit my leg,
I'm trying to break my fall.
My hand is the first thing to hit the ground,
and my pinky is the first thing that hits the ground, right?
My shit is, I look down, it's stuck.
I can see my bone.
I can see my bone is stuck.
Oh, shit.
I run off the floor, going to back.
They pulled my shit back in place, this, that, and the third,
and it was like, you know, if you want to, you can go finish it.
If you want to.
If you want to, you can go finish the game.
I was like, yeah, y'all numbed it up.
It's only a pinky.
I can move it.
No, I couldn't move.
But I still, I got nine other than motherfuckers.
I don't got to use it.
It was stitched it up then, but it was none.
They stitched it up then and pulled my shit back in place,
put the rap on, the band-aid on it.
I went out and finished the fucking game.
One of these dudes do, do that.
shit today they out two they out a month for sure but it ain't about like so it like yeah I didn't
had little shit go on during the game but we've also seen situation the past couple seasons I think
about howley in particular had a hamstring kept trying to play because he wanted to hit that 65
game threshold became a bigger issue guys with calf strains going out there keep trying to play
now that calf turned into Achilles and now you're on chill against island for the next nine to
12 months yeah that's all we're saying do the work beforehand you can't avoid certain
Injuries are a part of sports.
We know that.
I'm not saying that.
Guys get hurt all the time in every sport across the board.
Yes.
But this shit has an, it's at an alarming rate.
Like, main guys, other guys that's not important to their team,
so not to say they're not important,
but lesser roles of guys, guys that has made.
It's just an alarming thing across the board with the same kind of injuries.
That's all I'm saying.
It's the same thing.
We ain't seen this many Achilles tears in the NBA, ruptures and tear.
We haven't seen that guy.
You knew when a guy towards ACL, you knew if a guy towards Achilles, that shit was rare.
I don't remember my 15 years playing.
I have a hard time recalling, like, I know Vashon Leonard did.
I know Chauncey did.
That was late.
Boy, that was late in his career, too, right?
Right?
Rashon.
I'm on my time, Vashon Leonard.
He was late.
Late did him, but he was, so I'm trying to think who else I know off the top of my head had that injury.
During my 15 years, my tenure of playing, 15 years, who had an Achilles?
Dick, I wouldn't play in.
Oh, my bad, my bad, my bad, my bad.
I'm tripping, I'm tripping.
I'm tripping, I'm tripping, I'm tripping, I'm tripping.
I'm tripping.
Daryl Dawkins one.
Daryl Dawkins.
So, yeah, who else?
So, yeah, who else?
But that's a...
You got a...
I'm saying, I smoke weed, so my memory might be a little...
In our era?
In our era?
From when you came in...
I do too came in.
No, I'm just saying, but I'm just trying to...
Like, people say fuck with...
It's an offensive thing, though.
My thing's...
Who?
It was before we got in.
It was McDice.
Okay.
No, was McDice?
He was his knees.
He was his knees.
He had microfreshers.
He thought it was his back.
came back with Detroit.
Because they took the piece out of them.
Yeah, so, but who, I'm trying to figure out who had Achilles, M.G.
I don't know, nobody that we, who.
Corrman, Corby, probably.
Achilles?
Yep, Corrid.
Okay, we, we single, but we still single digits.
We still single digits.
We still single digits here.
Like probably one, one hand single digits.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Think about the movement.
Think about the movement.
Cold did.
Yeah.
The movement that you made.
Everybody was later.
Everybody was old.
What's the movement?
Biggie had it.
But that's the new NBA.
But that's the new NBA.
I wouldn't put it.
I wasn't in NBA then.
DJ, Brandon.
I went in the NBA then.
Oh, yeah, Brandon Chinon.
It's the offensive movement.
I was on my, what year was that?
Tatum, James.
So what year was BJ?
All these guys were making the same movement.
2013 and 14.
Yeah, I was, I was on.
Fuck.
I had two more years to play.
Like, I was hanging.
Hey, Nick, I was hanging on by a thread.
Hey, 2013, 14, hey.
So, I got a list of money.
You're going to pay me some more.
So, boogie's happened at 27.
I think Rudy Gaye age 23rd, 27.
Who?
Boogie.
What year, though?
2018.
Yeah, that's not part of us.
I was going.
We're talking about our era.
My arrow.
I'm trying to go back from basically 99 to.
I was drafted in 2000.
We can probably add the 80s to the 2010s and still be.
Yeah.
So, Mamedicor.
Okay.
Elton Brand, 2007.
Like you said with Sean, Maurice Taylor.
Lafonso Ellis 1997, but there's a huge
A huge gap in between
Swagin as you mentioned Dominie Williams.
Heldon Brandtso was Achilles?
Yeah.
Yeah, never knew.
Came back with the Sixers.
Damn!
Yeah, they fucked him up.
He was prime time.
You know the problem is
it's really is training camp, right?
Yeah, man.
What anything he'd ever said was exactly why
this is happening
you said you come to training
camp like this
where the fuck is the training camp
yes
where the fuck is the training camp
we've seen you like this
three days later you're an NBA game
playing against somebody
yeah looking like that
like it's like
think about training camp who are you playing
like the reason these stars are getting
hurt is the star
player is not in tip top
shape guarding star
players.
Yeah.
So if I'm coming in there looking like Andy Davis, right, but he's all in practice,
them 30 days in practice that we used to have playing against my backup, right, I can get
in shape.
Because they're going to.
When I play it again, that's no backup.
No, you got two, you got.
That's yonness now.
You got six days.
I got six days.
I'm going to get John's and all these guys running up and down.
Yes, I'm pulling something.
But that's, that's the biggest difference.
In training camp, I had 30 days to get my shit together, right?
Right, go through the first day.
You know, of course, I'm going to sit this one out.
I can mosey my way into it, play six or eight games first.
We come back in that motherfucker.
The next three days, they're the first one in that motherfucker on their goddamn little.
The little injuries go happen doing it.
Like their injuries is happening now, these tweaks is happening now.
You're playing against.
That's when y'all sit out like this.
No, my God.
Imagine, imagine we didn't have two days.
We just had the one day go half-ass.
Three days later, you got to guard.
Kevin Gardening at Tim Duncan.
Like,
you know, wait, what?
Just imagine the motherfucker having guard me.
Yeah, I'm just saying.
Fast as we was playing all that jumping
and moving me at motherfucking 24 years old.
Like, brus, throwing that bitch by the rim.
Anthony Davis every year is over.
Going out of that bitch out, not stretching.
I'm not stretching.
I'm not stretching.
I'm not stretching.
I got it.
Not stretching at all, man.
So I can only imagine if we didn't have.
Imagine we had two days,
and it took us all of that.
Imagine that first week, our first week of training camp, man.
You're thinking about training camp the week before.
Training camp was so bad for us.
That was the worst part of our season.
Yes, absolutely.
That was the worst part thinking about that.
It was two a day, one of day, two a day, one of day, and we didn't, like, I was like, oh, my God.
When was September first coming?
You were like, shit.
Then he started getting in shape, shape, shape, and then training game was still killer.
I used all this in my last day of doing.
doing anything, part, and everything would be Labor Day.
Yeah, that's laugh.
Labor Day was my cutoff, and I motherfucking cold turkey, everything.
Yeah.
And took my ass to Denver, Colorado.
So turn up Labor Day next morning, I'm back like that.
Oh, okay.
Oh, okay, right?
Cold turkey.
Turn it off and get my ass on the plane and go to Denver, Colorado, and motherfucking getting shit.
Were y'all playing games?
Like five-on-five?
Pick-up game, yeah.
Yeah, see, when I got to, when I was playing in D.
We were already, especially with the locals, we was playing five on five damn near a week and a half in September.
Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
Like we're going five on five, like trying to get this shit, running bleachers and shit.
Yeah, we're playing five.
It still got killed.
I figured it out.
I figured it out.
Remember, they ain't got that many drug tests no more.
So going cold, no.
They get more than us.
They can smoke.
Yeah, they can smoke, though.
That's different.
But they still get tested.
Oh, I would prefer these tests.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Cold turkey, you're not smoking.
When he came in, it was one test for the vets.
They smoke for the rookies.
Even when you can't, no, not the first, that's your first year.
Yes, yes.
They can do whatever they want right now.
It's the same thing.
My first five years was the same thing.
No, I get into 2001.
So the rookies was four times, and the vets was only one.
You remember going cold turkey?
No, when I was in Golden State.
Like, NBA was rehab.
The NBA was rehab.
The NBA was rehab.
The NBA was rehab.
The NBA was rehab.
Before you got it.
Yeah, I'm telling you.
No, when I was it, because we got tested in, um, we got tested in Hawaii, because we went
to Hawaii training camp, right?
They tested you in Hawaii?
Yeah, it was one test.
It was one test.
It was one test.
And I just tell you, listen, I'm not going to say who, but the balconies is open.
Yeah.
Ah, stronger than motherfucker, the rest of this, you said.
Yeah.
Yeah, we, back then, put it like this, back then we had, we had this day called, uh,
like daddy, a damn snit.
No, I didn't say, no.
We had, we had that, just like you twist your ankle, they had these stuff they put on the horses.
DMSO?
Did you, you remember that?
I heard of, I didn't know.
Oh, you never used it?
Oh, yeah, DMSO.
Nobody ever used it.
If you had like a spraying angle or something, yeah.
Like, yeah, put it on there.
Like, you're gonna say, you know, no more.
Yeah, no.
Yeah.
See, they didn't, like, they used to give me the man time frames and all that shit.
I always put that shit in top of my locker, bro.
I wasn't taking that shit.
At the end of the year, I got a pharmacy in the top of my locker.
I couldn't be, hey, I wouldn't take that shit early.
I was supposed to.
But I got a question for you guys, as we look at this stuff,
how will these injuries force the league to reevaluate the 65 game minimum
for postseason wars?
I think initially put it in place to try to curtail low management,
but now it seems like you're going to have a whole new thing of stars
that are people getting fast-tracked to start them
that are going to eat up a lot of bread as an owner.
Stay healthy, my husband.
How?
It's when they lose their money, they're going to change.
Man, who's always on that list every year on this list?
Just go to this list.
It's just one person?
No.
Two people.
Every year, these motherfuck, same motherfuckers was hurt.
Okay.
Zion, NB.
You said three.
You said three.
Jammarant, fucking Anthony David.
No, so they'll go down the list.
Every year.
One, two, three, why, Joelle Zion.
Technically, one, two, three, four, five, six.
The first six, six, the first six.
John
John missing
Yes
Jalen new
No
Pop
Polo now
Yeah
Garland hurt
always too
Shit
Hollow P.
Carol
But we're
No
but repeat offenders
Like multiple
Multiple
Those first six right now
It's been
Yeah
That's what I'm saying
That second
I ain't gonna put
Yonis in that
Bradley
Well
I'm not going to put Yonis
In that
You know what I'm not
I'm not going to put
As hard as he play
You have to put
You have to
As hard as he play
He is not like he really, really be getting hurt.
It's not going to put yonness.
His match how he plays.
He missed the last three playoffs.
But playoffs.
All three off.
But that's playoff.
I'm not putting him to that.
He still missing them.
Go look at games played compared to him, Anthony Davis,
Kowah, Leonard, Joel, and B, Zion Williams.
I guarantee you that shit ain't.
Yeah, I wouldn't put him in there.
He'd play way more games than him niggas.
I'm not going to put him in that category.
I'm not going to put him in that category.
Yeah, Ben biased.
They did have a cat.
They like them, so they're being biased.
They like them because they're being biased.
He's in there every year.
In the last five years, five years, the 65 he's only got it twice.
And I had something different and I was supposed to do
a different exercise and I wasn't.
To get it stronger, to get it stronger, hip thrust.
I was supposed to be, I was doing the wrong hip thrust at the bed
and I was fucked around and fuck my shit up.
Fucking with that pork.
Yeah, the reverse cow girl.
That's why I was supposed to be doing that.
All that shit.
You're all talking about can't help, but it's bad.
This shit is preventable.
Yeah, I'm listening to everything you can't do to try to help.
They listen to the wrong people.
Might need to listen to an old school man and get some old school shit back in the gym.
We all don't interest are a part of the sport, man, but this, that's the same shit that's going on with these dudes.
Besides, Kawai, Joel, Zion, right?
Zion's having the same issue.
Joel knee, right?
We know his knee is fucked up.
We know that.
But that's an injury
That's an injury
Some people say injured
Or some people
You just hurt all the time
Like Anthony Davis is hurt all the time
He hurt all the time
We think he could fucking play
Like when he goes down
He'd get poking the eye
He'll leave the game
For sure
That's not hurt
That's hurt
That's hurt
That's not hurt
That's not injured
Who coming back
From getting poking an eye
in the game
You'll come back
You'll come back
You'll come back
That's what we're saying
That's different
That's different
He's not injured
We're not going to put him
on a list
for the injuries.
But a scratch cornea
made prevent you from coming back.
Could.
Just saying.
Depending on how tough it is.
That's the Terminator.
Right.
You play all 82 games?
Every year.
Yeah.
Every year.
Not every year.
You did too?
77, almost.
79.
Somebody set out for load management
because it was going west.
Back then, flu, had a flu, had to sit out.
McHale Bridges has, Nick.
Hey, he's played it.
He hasn't missed the game since he played in the NBA.
Well, that's the only didn't tell him had no nix and bangs.
I'm just saying.
That's what I'm saying.
So he's in this.
I guarantee you, if you ask him what he's doing, it would be, I guarantee he's doing not what they're doing in the weight room.
What do you think?
He's like, I do my own shit.
I stretch.
I do this.
I lift.
I do.
And I think Josh Hart is on that same type of program where he plays and he's like, I'm hurt a little bit.
But I'm good.
Like, think about the guys.
Think about the guys.
Think about the guys that we do know.
That's playing.
See, the stars take the most rest.
The stars keep getting hurt.
So when you look about, if you look at the guys that we actually do see playing, those
option fours, fives, and be like, they get hurt.
What are they doing?
Well, speaking, sure they're available.
The corner.
Speaking sure they're available.
To that corner.
How about this?
What age group gets the most Achilles Tairs?
A nigger who doesn't set on the couch two, five years, right, just chilling.
chilling, and then like, hey, man, we're about to play the 24-hour finish.
Come through, we're hoping, right?
And you come out there for the first time.
I didn't play six, seven games, and he didn't play one more.
Bap!
No, I'm just saying, it's those guys.
There's those guys, right?
That's that injury.
Where you ain't played basketball in a long time you go out there
try to play the sport, they're playing it for two more hours than you was supposed to
in your toy shit.
My boy, Dave Brown, man, Dave Brown.
Fuck around on Tour's Achilles, old as ill.
Mariano Rivera.
Rione Rivera, probably the motherfuckings picked up a baseball in years.
Go out there that Yankee celebrity shit, Achilles.
Immediately.
Why do you ask me to play?
I'm like, man, the one thing you're worried about?
I'm like, I'm good.
That was the funniest thing.
That is my number one, no.
You can't have thrown it to a lot.
Nick, niggas ask me all the time, man, hey, me want to come?
Who would have?
Paul, hey, you want to come?
No, man, listen.
I'm a, I'm, see, the thing, I didn't have been under that knife so much, bro.
I refuse going to that thing.
My dream is to get all of us in 24.
The one thing I'm worried about is Achilles' name.
Why do you think I'd be moving?
I'm like, I can feel it when I walk up the stairs
it just feels a little bit, a little unstable.
It's like, you probably just need one young man.
So you gentlemen mentioned McHale Bridges.
You also talked about Josh Hart,
but let's shift this over and talk a little bit about the Nix
if you guys don't mind.
That wasn't that good of a segues,
but you normally do better.
You know what you do better?
You're like, you're bored right now?
I don't give a fuck no more.
I'm tired of this shit.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That wasn't good enough.
Tell them to tie again, Nick.
Tell him to tie that shit again, man.
You'll give a fucking more.
You'll get a fucking more.
Hey, man.
If you can read six words on that phone, man.
I don't bet you.
I'm saying you, you my dog.
He talked to do better, man.
He told him.
No, you know, you mentioned you.
You want to get the fucking out here.
I know.
You got the gills sent you right now.
You didn't give it the same up.
We are not.
Let's get the fuck out.
Hardworking, industrious.
That man said if you don't mind, my ass,
we don't switch this shit up, right?
I appreciate you, gentlemen.
We are a collaborative team.
You got to read that now.
The person used to be right here.
We have upgraded.
We didn't have upgraded because I'm out here on Amazon
looking for a deal.
No, but after turning his ankle,
letting a blowout loss against the magic
and missing the past two games. Jaylen Brunson surprised fans by making it quicker
than expected return for the Knicks last night in his old stomping grounds. The Knicks
were sitting at 8 and 5 entering their matchup against the Mavs, still yet to win a game
on the road. This one got chaotic, as Brunton described it postgame and ended in some controversy.
Let's see how it went down. But you guys didn't mention McKell Bridges, so I do have a note in there
for him. So while Brunson was back in action, the Mabbs were without number one pick
Cooper flag due to an illness. It was Flagg's first career misgangue. McHell Bridges
played in his 570th consecutive game.
He is now, has the fourth most consecutive game
to start an NBA career, all time.
Brunson had it going early in his return with two threes and eight points
in the first quarter.
He finished with 28 and five dimes.
DeAngelo Russell, the Mavs in this one,
still coming off the bench, even with flags, absence.
A little D. Lo, finished with 23.7 assists, five rebounds.
He was four of seven.
Make sure you say that.
He was four of seven to three.
Don't worry.
Nadia Marshall also stepped up for the Mabbs,
with all the injuries, also finishing with 23 points in this game.
Landry Sherman once again played Hero for the Knicks late in this one.
It's going on a three points entering the fourth quarter,
which you got on an and one in the very first bucket of the game,
hit two big threes to help the Knicks give and extend their lead
without a minute to play.
Nix did about everything they could to trick off their fifth straight road game.
They missed 16 free throws in the game, five straight.
As you mentioned, Swaggy, and their efforts to ice,
and we mentioned this one ended in controversy.
Brandon Williams
going to the cup with a chance
to tie the game
whistle for it
all fans to file
good that is your boy
rewind that is your boy
we're going to get it to in a second
I try to look I'm trying to figure
we're going to get it to in a second
but the Knicks held it down
we're going to talk about a second
got their first road win of the season
after the game Brunson
stuttered his way to discussing
the wild ending in his return
this game I don't know how
anyone would describe it how would you describe
the way this thing went down.
I mean, chaos.
But at the same time, I mean, found a way to win.
It was ugly, but when you went, damn.
When you went ugly, I mean, it's a sign of, like,
team learning, getting better.
So no matter what the situation is,
we got to find a way to win.
All right, so as you gentlemen said,
let's start with the ending in the offensive foul
that sealed it for the Knicks if we can get that video.
So we'll take a look at this play.
Obviously, Brandon Williams gets the ball.
What do you do?
We will see you.
Yeah.
Hooked him to turn the corner.
Gave him the hook.
You wouldn't be in that situation though.
They showed it, didn't it?
Yeah, right here.
That's a foul.
Wow.
Right here.
Oh, yeah.
Watch that.
And he went around.
Hard to see in real time watching the game at the Crip.
This got to use his elbow.
The foul happened already.
Hands was up.
Let's see it one more time if we can't play.
Not yet.
He hadn't bumped him yet.
Look, he touched him.
Look, right here.
Boom, touched him.
That wasn't where, hey, even if he would have, pal.
But don't call.
You're not going to get that N1 if he caught a bump.
But you can't call offensive foul.
Right here, look, right there.
No, no, no hand.
No, no hand.
No hand.
It's here, hey.
Right there.
That's a file.
That's a file.
Right there.
He didn't lock, but he's still because.
But if I'm running at you like a file.
Wait, Nick, you're not, you're not, you want guard.
Nick, Nick, do you want you to get that foul in the fourth quarter with one second?
And you're the defender, you're going to want that foul?
You're going to take that foul.
You're going to take that vow.
If you're a sham it, no, that's a fine.
But I'm going to be in that situation.
Yes, you would.
I'm saying, if you're a stammer right now, you barely bump him.
You're trying to stop him.
Do you think the rep is going to dictate the game on that bump?
No, he dictated on the office.
Because it was clear.
No, it wasn't a foul.
It wasn't.
That was a fine.
That was a questionable call.
That's a file.
So it was an officer file.
It was clear.
It was a clear book.
That's a defense.
Clear hook.
No, that's a decent trial.
That's a, that's a Shay Luca call right here.
He's not saying.
No, the problem is, is, you're right.
He's not.
He is not Shia or Luca to do what Shea Luka or Reeves would have did here.
And that's the problem.
That's, this is where as a veteran or someone who's skilled at getting filed,
Ooh.
See, this is a part of here.
This is where a great office the player is.
You're filling him riding you what we would do.
Oh!
We would have ran with it.
Time and scored, too?
Because the back rep is the one who calls this,
and the problem is you are fouled,
but it doesn't look like you're foul
because you didn't do nothing to show him that he dislodged you.
So you're holding your ground with him,
and then you try to get positioned by getting in front of them.
More, it would have been one of those who called the foul.
The front rep.
Because of that can see it.
You just got to stop.
Does he need to do the full rep or can't?
He doesn't give him the little elbow.
He doesn't even need the chicken winging.
He just needs to keep his drivel.
Brunton would have got foul.
Brunton would have been a foul.
Because Brunton would have did one of those.
No, bro, listen.
He got his hands up.
He's trying not to foul.
All he has to do is keep his dribble.
Two more dribbles that he can lay that bitch up.
You buck me, then move your hand.
That's a file.
But he didn't show it.
He kept going to.
But to y'all point, yeah, he should have sold.
He didn't tell it.
Because he's holding it.
Because he's holding his ground.
It doesn't.
As a referee, as a referee, as the, as the.
The back referee, I'm sitting here like, okay, he ain't done that solid defense.
They ain't doing nothing to you.
But that's what did it look like?
But that not, did you not see that look?
But as soon as he's going to your shoot motions, they got to call it.
Yeah, yeah, once you're going to your shoot motions.
As soon as he pick it up, because he on him, he's going bumping.
Yeah.
But I don't, but you turning.
You turning, you turning while you're trying to look.
But I'm in front of you, though, or.
As a refute you make me.
And if I'm my body in front of you and you put, you're running it to me as I go.
I'm beside you.
I'm not running it to you.
I'm beside you.
I gotta be in front of you to hook you.
Look, the defensive rules when you are on the side
is to run you to the corner of the backboard.
That's the defensive rules.
That means if you impe-
You're really bumping me into the corner.
But look, what Gil note, what you know
is when you're running side to side with a defender,
you have to step in front of him.
So look, he doesn't step in front of him.
He's riding, he's riding.
I thought they won't.
No, no, so right here, right, before that.
Go back.
Go back, back, back, back, back, back.
Right.
Okay, so that's this red's call, right?
So the back, the back rep is letting this play.
Right, right?
But the back rep is letting his play.
Bam, I'm fling.
Right?
But you got to fall.
Shoot it.
You got to give me something right here.
You're not giving me nothing.
So now, now I'm letting you go forward.
He's keeping his dribble.
So the back rep is not calling nothing.
He shouldn't, right?
He thinks you have an advantage.
If you go up as an officer player, right now I'm calling it.
Right now I'm calling it.
Right now I'm calling it.
Yes.
Right now I'm calling it.
Right now I'm calling it.
Yes.
Right now I'm not going to call no more.
What is he doing?
I can see your hand.
You gotta pick it up like this right this.
I can see your hand as a referee and I'm not calling it.
The other ref over here, he doesn't, he doesn't see this.
All he sees this hook.
That's all he sees, bro.
That's all he sees.
That's clean defense and from this angle is clean defense because he's not dislodging him.
He's not pushing him off his pit.
From the other rep's angle, it looks clean.
I don't see the bumping.
So all I see is you.
hook, they get the advantage to score.
So he's calling that foul.
I'm not because he can't.
It's the other one.
The rep got to explain that.
Which one?
We already had that conversation.
The rep should have a fucking press conference.
The rep.
The rep do.
The rep do have the saying, and I asked that question, he should answer that.
And he's saying why he didn't call the first foul.
That's not his fault.
All of it.
Or the second file.
Both of them should be sitting there answering questions.
But the second file was obvious.
The rep, what the ref say?
You got to tell it.
It's still a first.
You got to tell it, but it's still a file.
my call, though. Remember the back, the back, the back, the back, the back, the back, the back
the back, the back call that I should, I be sitting in, but I'm like, I'm waiting for
the offense. I'm waiting for him. I'm waiting for him. No, that rep's saying, I'm, I ain't going to call
I ain't going to call it. I'm not going to call it. I'm not going to determine the game. Right,
right. Right. So the other rep did, though. Yeah, because you got an advantage. You got
you, you got an, you gained an advantage. So it's either, it's either I don't call nothing. And it's
two points right there. Or offensive foul.
Because if I don't, because all that happens is this, I don't call nothing, they score, right?
You can't challenge that.
Can't challenge a no whistle?
Now, if there was an N-1, I can challenge that, and then they take the call back.
They can't take the call back.
Anyway.
What?
Dallas can't challenge that.
If they didn't blow the whistle.
The last two minutes, right, from what I'm saying?
But they didn't have been, it would have been an M-1 if he doesn't call the offensive.
Can they challenge the offensive?
In the last two minutes, right?
Yeah, they can challenge up.
Did they do that?
You do it?
They didn't have timeout.
Oh.
What do you need a timeout for if the tech?
No, what I'm saying is...
Can't challenge, you ain't got no time out.
Yeah, because you lose a timeout when you get it wrong.
You lose the timeout.
Why not just take them get a tech?
Wait, wait, hold on the minute.
So let's put this out.
No, let's put this out.
All right, so offensive foul.
I don't have no timeouts.
Yeah, but it's the last.
I get a tech because I want a timeout so I can get the ball back.
Yeah.
So they get one shot.
And the ball.
And so that tech overseas, my mom.
motherfucking ball?
Yes.
I understand what I said?
Because I won the challenge, so does it over it,
the tech overext?
Oh, do the point count?
Do you get a free throw?
No, the frito counts, but does the technical
over exceed my challenge?
Yeah.
Hold on, hold on, hold on, what you're saying?
You see what I'm saying?
What you're saying is, if you get the tech,
but they count it.
So you get the offensive foul.
I don't have a timeout,
but I want to challenge it anyway.
So there's a technical.
Yeah.
Right? To two for the challenge.
So, yeah, yeah.
So you shoot the free throw, now you have to accept my challenge.
Yep.
And which is going to change the call?
Which one over exceeds it?
So you changed the call, but because there was the tech, do you get the ball back?
They don't even go look at it.
I don't even think they review it because you ain't got no timeout.
No, but if you ain't got no timeouts, they don't even review.
I feel like they're sitting in the review center like, damn, if y'all had time out, you'd have been good.
Because you remember they can actually review the play inside of the play.
So they can review what that.
wasn't an offensive foul that's actually
an end one. If you challenge, if you
have a time, I'm supposed to look at it, so.
But what's the technique?
Isn't the technical? I'm giving, the technical
is a hour. They're not going to look at it.
They're not going to look at it because you got a technique.
You got to use, you have to have the timeout, the challenge.
It's an invalid. You have to have a timeout.
Then in the body of the challenge, if they see something else,
that you've tried to challenge, if they see something,
they could, they could switch it or flip it or do it.
If you ain't got, if you ain't got nothing to take away from it.
I'm just trying to use the scissors.
Oh, we're trying to use the scissors.
You know, one of those.
kids.
Oh, yeah.
We got no time.
I spent the water on the water.
That's sick.
Bump me.
Bumble, bum, bum.
It's sick.
So, Nix approved a 9 to 5 on the season, a tie for third in the east with the win over the
Mavs.
Their first row win of the season.
Brunson back for the next.
One more time.
I'm sorry.
I'm just, let me see that play one more time.
The other one.
What you're doing right here?
No, I'm seeing, okay, I'm just, now I'm thinking about.
What you're doing right here before?
Okay, I'm trying to figure.
Yeah, yeah, I'm picking it up right now what I'm saying?
No, no, no, no, besides that, I was trying to figure out if he couldn't change directions because he technically wasn't in front of him yet for him.
Yeah, Sammy got his leg in front of him.
No, what I'm saying is, though.
No what I'm saying is somebody else like a Duane Wade snatched.
You hit him with this form though.
Yeah, I would, yeah, yeah, yeah.
So he didn't have enough to snatch, he wasn't in front of him to snatch back yet.
That's like Kevin Martin Flay.
Yeah, that's a fall.
You got the fall.
You got the fall.
No, no, no.
What I'm saying is if he would have, if it was the Wayne way,
snatched him, he would have flew all the way to him.
But he didn't, but that shoulder never got in,
Shannon's shoulder never really got in front for him.
That's why you use this at the level, boom, bum, boom.
Yeah, just young, you're trying to get to there.
That could have went 50-50.
Yeah, been at that Frito line, that's a lot of pressure,
you know that, you don't want to have to make two fritos.
You and Little Delo.
That was only one moment.
That was only one moment in my life.
That was only one more.
That was one moment.
Missed the Fritos. Can we show the Fritos he missed?
And put it a side by side. Little D-Lo next to D-Lo, yeah.
Unfortunately, Swaggy, we didn't have the technology.
Hey, God damn! Get the goddamn fucking Frito.
Shit!
I will take one of your starbursts, though.
God bless you.
I know this is the anti-D-Lo.
It is one o'clock.
It is having to crash out.
I did call him Little D-Lo on the highlight for you, though.
He knocked one.
He actually made one.
I don't want in there thinking it was my cup of candy.
And it was your cup of beverage.
None of the left.
Brunswick back for the Knicks.
Mike Brown still trying to figure out his rotation.
They got their first road win last night.
Brunce got his first win versus the mask.
What?
He's still trying to do what?
Said it again.
They're trying to figure out his rotation.
I'm there doing some injuries.
O.J. Anobio be out with the hamstring.
I'm just letting you know.
Mind of my business.
Hosting.
Loster Nostra Nostra.
OJ NLB out a few weeks with the hamstring.
I've got a lot of things to fix, but do you still have faith?
And then it's Nick Squad.
They were pre-season instant conference favor.
Shai, you were a former Knicks fan.
Still.
You're still?
You haven't picked the team yet this year.
I did.
I said the Nicks in the Spurs.
Nicks on the East, Spurs on the way.
I wouldn't hear that.
Yeah.
I like them.
Also a Hornets fan?
No.
Ha!
You know what I'm saying?
You know what I'm saying?
That same Hornet team lost in any of the Pacers.
Oh, dude.
It's all dude.
Win some, you lose some.
Lost of the Pacers.
The one win Pacis.
I don't know, man.
I don't know, man. Mike Brown is just showing a lot of, like, what Swack was saying, man.
Yeah, yeah.
It's just inconsistent dialogue and understanding how to deal with players.
You put them in position to actually go out there and give you something that you can, you can be proud of.
You know what I'm saying?
And be like, look, you're showing me something.
I'm going to reward you.
You know what I'm saying?
And it's like, everybody over there like, you know, I'm going to play tonight.
And I don't know if he's going to fuck with me tonight.
But he had to show up because that's what kind of player he is, but it's just weird.
You know, Brunson is always going to show up.
I like the way Cat played.
Mitchell's always going to be an energy guy.
I don't know, man, night in, night out.
They still, like you said, they haven't found the chemistry of who they depend on now.
I think they all go out there and play hard, but might need to rally the troops and really get
behind them so that they can really follow a lead and not just go out there again.
guessing whether or not we're making shots that we're going to win the game I don't think
that should be the the whole game plan is if we're making shots I think they'll all play
better if they start getting stops together transition D uh transition offense secondary
points I think they'll be able to do that you know what I'm saying stop turning the ball
over make better make better plays man well I'm man listen no it's just because I hear that shit man
To be an elite team, a better team, a good team, man.
You just can't have your first road win.
So I don't get for who playing, who's not playing, man.
That's your first road win of the season.
That shit is alarming.
So I...
How many games are you in?
Whatever it is.
You got one road win.
I know, but what's the right?
They're like, with the eight and six?
One.
So tell us the solution to the road win.
Let's not just say it's bull.
One in four.
If we only have five-barred games, one and don't matter.
So they had fire teams?
What did your team go last year?
The team you inherited.
The team that they said the other coach was running them to the ground.
And I'm looking at this lineup like, okay, OG's all right?
I want to hear that shit, man.
Now, who's playing this year that they didn't play last year?
The hard bench?
Huh?
He wasn't there last year.
That's what I'm saying.
Who's playing last year?
No, last year they said you only play eight players.
Mbri.
He played last year.
He was one of eight.
Gershaw.
Obershaw.
Obershaw.
Gershom?
He was with Philly last year.
He was with, so basically,
none of the niggas you didn't play last year is playing this year.
And you got one win on the row?
So obviously,
obviously the coach last year, Tim,
knew something that everybody else didn't want to say.
Yeah.
We didn't have nobody off the bench that we could have played last year,
so I had to play these people as much as possible.
We went and got two or three players
that we can't.
dead play.
Gershaw Yama Selle, Jordan Clarkson.
Because they, I mean, if you look at last night, if you take, oh, if you put OG in,
you ain't really coming off the bench with much.
8.
Same.
Same.
Same.
Maybe 9.
Shannon.
Shaman is the only person who didn't play last year that is like, okay, you played
at the beginning of the year, then we went away from you.
He's the only person that's changed.
And they made him try out this year, so.
But he's a big.
They made him try out.
He's a big difference, though.
He's not just a guy that's going to go out there and run around.
He can make a difference like he did last night.
He can make shots.
He can actually feel a position.
Stand up for a corner.
You know, the corner of the corner.
He go out there.
He wanted to disrespect.
But if it was somebody else, I get it.
But he actually prepared for that position.
But think about who you have to sit on the bench for him to get in.
Josh Hart.
Ah.
No, just four.
Yeah.
No.
Nick, Josh's six four.
Man, he played a four, though.
Don't dish, no.
But what I'm saying is...
All right now.
Now, when you go to your guaranteed lineup...
He ain't no two, man.
When you go to your guaranteed lineup, who is it going to be?
Without O.G.
Kat?
No.
Cat, O.G.
If he's healthy.
Mckel.
Brunson.
At O.G. McKell.
Brunton.
And Mitchell.
No.
They said him.
It's going to be Brunton.
Johnson in.
No, it's going to be...
Hart was coming off the 10th.
No.
But the guy's thinking about, Hart is playing 30-something plus minutes.
Yeah, he's going to play a lot.
So what happens is Shamed is going for Hart's position.
So who are you going to go for?
You're saying Miles Bridges can't come out for 10 minutes?
You said OG can't come out for 10 minutes.
I don't know what Miles Bridges to play for because he played for Charlotte.
McHale.
But what I'm saying is when you're going, when you're talking about the
fourth quarter, you play in those last six, seven minutes.
He's not that much better than fucking...
They're playing.
Who you're talking about, a nine-minute rotation last game?
Mike, what a McCall?
McKell Bridges.
He ain't just ten times better than...
He's a defender.
Damn it.
He was a, he's a defense.
Like, you remember, that...
When they're playing, is defenders first.
His heart defensive, he going to give me a shot?
Or Mike Brown know he needs a shooter.
He know he need a shooter.
He know he need a shooter.
But I'm definitely taking a heart to ass out.
But Mike Brown, offensive.
He's faking on nobody knowing that bitch off the glass with his eyes closed.
Mike Brown, offensive-minded.
I thought he currently have a third offensive rating.
I thought he was defensive mind.
I thought he came in in for defense.
They had the defense.
They had the defense.
We don't want that.
I thought Mike.
I thought Mike.
Mike Brown stopped when he's on the team.
He's in charge of defense.
We were.
He was.
He ain't no more.
We want to offense.
You sound like me when he got over there.
Come in and talking that.
We're talking that deep as and shit.
Brunson looking at his ass like, but he say, what?
You want to do what?
We and Katta here for office.
Our contract says offense only.
If you need defense, you better go get a two-way player.
That's the craziest walk-out I seen from a star.
That's the crazy walk-out scene from a star.
Like, you cussing them out as you walk up the stairs and slam the dough.
Y'all told me you're talking about this defense and shit.
Yeah, y'all got to keep a defensive player.
He's trying to train the rookies and shit.
Gil just, yeah, I felt bad for him that day.
Imagine training your whole life to be a sharpshooter.
You can come to talk about defense.
You're doing defense.
Hey, man, y'all want to talk defense, man.
We got a couple of players in here.
You, Deshaun, Brennan Haywood, Michael Ruffman.
You and Timbertoe, y'all sit there and talk your game playing.
I ain't going to lie.
He was doing that shit for like two hours.
Was that a thing?
Y'all talked that defense.
We was in there for two hours doing defensive slides.
Yeah, y'all do some defense on slides.
He didn't give me one offensive play when he was in there.
Was it, Michael Ruff?
Yeah, if you were on the team with me.
Number 51.
I don't think your name was Michael.
Yeah, Mike Ruffin.
Are you thinking?
David Ruffin.
Okay, I got to fuck up.
Number 51.
Yeah, yeah.
I'm thinking.
David Ruffin.
Same shit.
D.
Curry, Luca.
Not you like this.
Let us know when y'all playing five on five.
Oh, he was in here doing slides for two hours.
Let me know when you play five on five, man.
All right, man.
Y'all do that with the defense players.
Four of them.
Three them five years.
$13 million contracts.
Yeah, that's y'all.
We did lines and slides for two hours.
You were just watching.
You know how, but look, it ain't my fault.
In the summertime.
When you sit there and you get Bruce Bowen.
This ain't training camp.
You got Bruce Bowen, whose first team all defense,
his contract, five years, 13 niggins.
You lets me know we're parted.
This is July, right?
June or July.
We didn't even start giving them the massed to slide for two hours.
I got out here.
Until you start giving them the mass contracts,
all good.
Five, five years.
Team New York, first team all defense.
He just came in and shake him out, see how the practice would.
Mike Brown was brought in to help improve the offense.
I just wanted to do.
Okay.
Oh, he was?
Yeah.
We were so happy when Keith did that.
He was the highest offensive rating and the only one coach of the year.
I mean, the Mike Brown, I know, was came here.
Me too.
He got a new ball head.
So he's changed.
He got a new ball head.
He's shiny.
He only did that.
He evolved with the times.
He evolved with the time like shit.
He was complaining to you.
That's why you did that.
All right.
Let's keep this thing.
He was complaining to you.
That's why you did that.
That's what I said.
That's the problem with them, man.
They called me selfish, but they told me to tell.
Yeah.
Hey, say you don't like them.
It's July.
They were doing a test run.
Oh, you're just a test run July.
I'm not there in July.
In July?
Two hours' defense.
But think about it, I'm not there in the July.
Well, what did you do?
They tell me to come to practice, just to practice with it so I can complain.
Not Martin.
Yeah, all right, what we're doing out here, y'all.
That's what you're doing.
All right, man.
All right, all right.
All right.
All right.
So, y'all, when the season comes,
he's tripping out here, y'all got me fucked up.
It's July.
Imagine.
That's what it would have been.
I just thought about it.
Y'all got me fucked up.
I forgot.
Yeah, that's what it said.
This is July.
This is October.
So I have to come to practice with their practice.
Just to complain about the dude.
All right, well, let's, abuse of power.
Abuse of friendship.
It's a network.
We could have been to play on team.
You got another man to the man.

He just talked about this.
He just talked about this.
Like when you said they don't get hair cuts and look presented.
Did you see how Robertson look at the freaking line?
The headband, and he's losing hair right here, but got the fro right?
They just come in the game.
They just come in the game, bro.
They don't.
Some of them, they're not used to TV time.
Dog, did you see that team last night?
They don't care.
We got to play on our team, man.
Got the red die, don't.
Headbands don't hide the boss.
The golden Lord.
They can't hide from the camera.
We got the red breeds.
Listen, I don't know.
This part is low and everything else is off.
See, the thing is, I thought, I said, man.
See, the thing is, they don't,
it's the one, they don't watch film, for one,
a lot of film.
And for two, we ain't in the locker room
watching film together,
and that motherfucking camera pan across your shit,
and we tell them to pause it.
Stop!
And that motherfucker-in' right on that,
you're on the free throw line, nigga?
For game, it was for game.
You're on the free throw line,
and that motherfucker fucking camera just shining.
right on it, like, he ain't got roasted in that bitch yet.
Nobody's a joke.
Ain't nobody got a joke.
He ain't got seven minutes worth for motherfucking locker room banter
when they just go around the room.
Don't you come back in here with that shit, man.
Don't you bet not come back in here with that shit, boy.
Trust me, he ain't got his ass talking about.
You said that, I said, bro.
I said, bro.
They don't give a fuck.
They don't give a fuck.
At all, that shit is.
Because the girls don't care.
The girl, they're going to get them.
They're drinking.
That's the bread.
I'm cool.
They ain't even saying nothing about the hair.
Why would y'all wish you would?
Yeah, bitch, don't even walk in and look at you.
He's looking at hair down.
You see what you're doing.
There you go.
Do what you do?
I'll let you later.
Ain't even no conversation no more.
You know your hair looks like this?
He motherfucking braweree.
He think is tricking.
He brawes out here dry.
Oh, yeah.
They make that a thousand.
Yeah, let me shut up.
A thousand dollars.
And anywho, let's move on to the bad.
You used to be 300.
You used to be 300.
You're talking about 500 and $500.
Talking about $1,000.
$1,500 for a hood.
We got to talk to our sons.
Like, here, look, here's my blackbook.
You're talking about them these of the price.
They'd be charged these, nigg, just that for a conversation.
Yeah.
Yeah, $1,500 for dinner.
Just for dinner.
And they got to pay for them.
They're in the dinner.
No, no.
And the dinner.
You don't take the dinner from the $500.
No.
No.
Or the Uber.
You got to do that for sure.
You got to send the black.
You miss what is there.
You got to see the black.
You got to.
Not Uber pool.
No, hell, no.
They won't even get in that.
They won't even get in that.
You forgot our age and our kids' age, we got to pull out our kids' age.
Yeah, because they're going to have to them young niggas.
I see you cash up.
It was too grand.
No, no, no.
She only charged $300.
Yeah, you know.
Back in the day it said you got $500.
Your negotiations are trashed.
Don't tell us to take advantage of the family.
So you just went at the first price she said, huh?
You ain't say, uh, now, hold on now.
Now, no, no, no, I got, I got $4.00.
Yeah, I got $4.00.
I got, you'll take $400.
I never thought, I never thought the day.
Never thought I see the day.
Right?
Still gone.
1500.
My ass.
You're 23.
I got to go.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know, man.
Bring your friend.
Hey.
I know your daddy.
Like.
You know, I know.
I know.
You know, often I, that boy hearing that, he comes all the time.
Hey, all the time.
Hey, man, I saw the such a day.
They say, man, I know your dad.
I was like, yo, and my response is, she's still in the streets?
Yeah.
I be trying to tell these things in the comment.
I know your mama, me.
You're going to leave me alone.
I know your mama.
I'm like, that's your kid playing.
Shit.
I know your mom.
I feel like, who.
Who is that?
Okay, that's him over there.
Yeah, I know your mama way back, boy.
Take a picture with my son.
Take a picture with my son.
That's your son?
How long ago was this?
Like 16, huh?
How long ago was this?
What you're talking about to take a picture with him?
You're not getting to be caught up.
Right.
And they're like, you remember when he was a baby?
These days, I don't remember.
No, I don't remember.
Let's get back to actual.
Wild times, Joe.
It's wild times, man.
That's why I love.
Gills Reiner presented by underdog.
Whoa, whoa, who, whoa.
Whoa, whoa.
All right, just making sure.
All right, Cooper Flagg appeared in each of the map's first 15 games
before missing his first career game with an illness.
Not sure what that illness is.
Hopefully it's not the Willie Lumplow.
Flagg was thrown into the fire to start his rookie season.
Tasson running point for the match for the first seven games of the season.
Experiment left much to be desired.
His flag appeared to struggle in the role with Dallas starting season two and five.
So recently, Flagg was asked about moving away from point guard
to his natural small forward position had this to say.
A lot of pressure.
a lot of responsibility that comes up being a point guard.
You know, I don't know if I was ready for that
or if I was ready to, you know, handle that, you know,
right off the bat.
You know, I try my best.
And, I mean, that's not to say I can't go back to it.
And, you know, it can't work on it and get better.
But I think it's just worked out lately
where it's been better to have somebody else, you know,
helping our relieving pressure.
It's not, doesn't mean I can't bring it up
and initiate offense, but just to have somebody in there
to, you know, help you leave that.
So his first seven career games
while handling the PG responsibilities flag
average 14.6 rebounds, three assists, 2.1 turnovers, 39, 31, 100 shooting splits.
Last eight games since shifting over to small forward flag is averaging 17.6 rebounds,
3.4 assists, 2.3 turnovers on 50, 26, 60 shooting splits.
Obviously, the move has not translated to more wins, though.
Mazzar 4 and 12 now, losing nine of their last 11 games.
Michelle, start with you.
How much the average?
After my bag, I didn't hear that.
The second.
17, 3.1.4.
17, 6.
fist went up quite a little bit, just a tad.
What's your reaction to Cooper Flag,
admitting he wasn't ready to play point guard
to start his rookie season?
Nothing.
I'm just laughing at the comment.
I thought you was about saying,
Sean, you was right?
No.
I'm thinking about to me.
You were speaking to your mind.
Like, Sean, you was right.
I'd be waiting for y'all to say that.
I'll be waiting for y'all.
We was right, motherfucker.
It was me and you?
Yeah.
Okay.
We was.
We was fighting.
Yeah, yeah.
We was fighting for our life.
But we fight for my life.
Not that I got hit.
I'm not about no haul time.
Hald time.
Say you're right sometimes
so the people can put the tombstones in the chat.
Sometimes, one time.
He said it.
I didn't say shit.
That's my new thing.
He said it.
He said, I didn't want to be out here to be in the first place.
Jason, kid, I'm talking to you.
Well, he was talking to Jason.
Like, how Yonis was talking to Jason.
Like, I wanted to shoot threes in the beginning.
You told me not to now.
I can't shoot no threes at all.
I'm still trying to shoot threes now.
I'm going to let you know.
Shit, I could have been ahead trying to put me at this point guard shit.
Whatever this is.
No, but I'm proud of him.
I'm very proud that he has realized that his natural position is going to get him more comfortable, more confident.
He looks a lot.
He's like a totally different player to me.
He looks like he has found his niche and found his spots in different mismatches
just more comfortable with his jump shot a little bit and within the
offense he knows how to pass he's seeing different different different players
you know slashing to the basket gets him in better rebound the position to be
able to capitalize the fast break opportunities so Dallas converting the
wins is going to be tough because they short you know short man so when it
comes down to him confidently being ready in the later season is going to be
important for them because I think that if
If AD don't come back, they're going to have to put the ball on his hands and make him a playmaker.
You're not going to be able to depend on Delo to be to be as a leader, but facilitating-wise, easing the pressure off of him.
That's what he can do.
I think that they'll be all right as far as having Cooper have confidence.
That's what they did this whole thing for, is to make sure that he gets into year two ready to go.
I'm thinking about something else.
I'm thinking about this thing and say, Daddy, you know this girl?
Black book?
These are all the prizes.
I can't wait for that day.
That's dope, brother.
Right.
That's dope.
That's all.
They're going to happen to you because.
They still, bitch, can you see?
No, your son only.
Stop, stop, stop, stop.
He has a son in the NBA already.
It's work everywhere.
So that means, like, you know what I'm saying is,
the work you used to have, they shouldn't be there
by the time you're going to get to that age.
You're going to be 50, 60, modern medicine,
technology, I'm just saying.
They're still in it.
I'm just saying by the time that it's way out there.
You remember that 50-year-old at the game?
Of course, I'm not supposed to be able to think about work right now,
my name.
Boy, I'm thinking about it.
I'm thinking about it.
That is funny
But back to
Why would Jake
Set this kid up for failure in that regard
Talking about the point guard
Whether you think he can or not
That's two separate total of conversation
Right
I think you can do it
But
Let's let him ease into the season first
Right
Now let's start the experiment
Game 15
Right
Let it's start the experiment then
Let it be comfortable
You got 15 under your belt now.
Now let's start implementing you bringing his ball up the floor and these things, right?
Why not do it that way but have his confidence waver to start his career?
And now you've got to gain it back.
Fan base looking at him.
Yeah, yeah, now you're a bus.
Man.
He's fucking up the numbers we thought.
Yeah, that's the, he was doing with the mental duress anguish of Nico Harrison.
I would use that.
That being the number one pick.
Don't get me no.
Don't give me no good.
Yeah, you pick me on one man.
Let me come out play my natural position,
nobody's touching the ball.
You pick me, man.
Let me come play my natural position, dog.
If he had that mindset, it was different.
He had like a guild mindset.
Nobody touch it.
It don't matter if he's point guard or not.
Imagine the motherfucker would have bought me in that bitch,
my rookie number one pick can't go play the two.
Go come off this down screen.
Listen, the fuck.
You're thinking about too much.
No, I run and jump.
He's thinking about too much out there.
First game.
He's just setting their kid up, man.
But glad he bouncing back, man, finding his niche.
Hopefully the coaching staff and Jake Head
and them realize that that's not the move for him.
And like he stated, like Cooper stated,
being capable of bringing the ball up to forward
initiating offense is one thing.
But being responsible for it is something totally different.
How many games was it?
My bad, I didn't even catch you.
First seven, start the season.
14.6.
Reassess 2.1 turnovers in those first seven games.
Being 18.
With that responsibility?
When you already got the responsibility
being the number one pick and you want to go out
and play well.
And never having, never haven't done it before?
Like, you're going to run the point?
Coming to a franchise that's dealing with
some shit and having a microscope
and getting rid of the point guard
that they got rid of.
Yeah, you're going to get rid of this point guard
and go put me in that position to go
fall that up.
Be like, man, hell no.
And our other point guard literally has
Would that be not this is outside of that,
but if the Detroit went after PJ Washington,
would that be a good pickup for them trade,
Harris, Tobias, and let Cooper Flagg just be free
because nobody, AD going to be hurt all year.
How you bring PJ off the bench?
You shouldn't be starting.
But for Tobias Harris, just to blow it up
and just let Cooper Flag be and let.
What do you think, do you think PJ in the way?
He's a good solid peaks for, like, somebody trying to really do something.
Oh, you're saying somebody making a move for the PJ.
And you could get some picks or something, like, do some.
And just clear the way for Cooper Flagg to be free and the other dudes,
that young guard that.
Yeah, yeah.
And just let them young guys play it out because they ain't going to win.
I don't think, I don't think P.J. in a way, I don't think none of them do is.
Kyrie being out of Anthony Davis being uncertain.
Because that's what they're hoping for.
I think the offense should run through Cooper Flagg right now.
I think she should be out to take a 25 shot tonight.
Right?
Right now, this is the time where you experiment with him.
When the mother, you got four wins.
That's what I'm saying.
The season is not looking promising.
So now, to your point that you just made,
to put the confidence in him, to what you,
let him draw some shit up for him.
Listen, this is, I need you to take 20 a night, right?
I did not play.
I didn't know.
I didn't play, missing the first game in season last year.
I think you should take 20, this should be the message.
You just take 20, 25 a night, and we live with the results.
This is the time for it to help build back that confidence that you put chinks in early.
You know, like you put some chinks in that man armor for no reason.
I mean, it's the karma.
The karma of the Dallas Mavericks making the moves that they've been making.
Kyrie go down, AD go down, Clay, me, him, and black girl.
We don't know what's going on.
You've seen that airball last night?
Man, I'm just saying that's a lot of karma in one session.
that's a one that's a Mark Cuban back
like you got Mark Cuban back
and you don't know what the fuck gonna go
you don't bring him in the game like that
at the end like got him off the bench now
and shit this is like weird
he's playing better off the bench too though
yeah he got no pressure now
he had been playing he was playing like shit
but he had been playing better off the bench as of late
um
a lot of ass he'd be dealing with every night
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
you gotta get on top sometime dog
that's a little everything there
Hey, you got to get on top sometimes.
Play actually started last night, play 22.
You were saying, you got to get on, you got a missionary sometime, dog.
I'm just.
Go to Bible.
You're going to Texas.
Texas is different from LA.
What?
It's different.
Roast Park.
Now, I know, motherfuck fucking fixing that nigga, roast and potatoes, and he, listen.
Catfish and spaghetti.
Hey, we don't eat that.
That's a, that's a dynamic combo.
What did you mean combinations?
Nah.
He said it was better than Mortons and all kinds of.
He's like, man, this is, this shit right here is the best shit I have had.
Catfish and spaghetti can.
That's not a combo?
No, not where I'm from.
I'm about to say.
Spaghetti is his own fucking meal.
Yeah.
Imagine how the house meal.
Can spaghetti be a side dish?
No.
Spaghetti is a meal.
No, no, no.
We do spaghetti.
Catfish is a meal.
Like, catfish is a main ingredient.
That's what I'm saying?
A combination of two.
Eating the two together is diabolical.
It's a restaurant.
It's a restaurant in Dallas I went to over the weekend when I was down to see my mom.
I went to a restaurant.
was on the menu and I was like can I get it separate no like can I order just the
catfish oh we'll kick you out no this is number one combo number one
boo was fucking amazing too FY but um so spaghetti a corner boy it's gonna make yeah absolutely
it don't go really can't be a corner boy not at all not where I'm from okay he said he
failed as a I don't think he said he failed I'm just I'm trying the experiment was a failure
of on who did the record no for him
What part of it?
Like he's
I know I heard him but what I'm going on what his words
I'm not looking at what I'm going on what his words say
He averaged 16 if you're not comfortable doing it though
That's what I'm saying
I'm not worried about the numbers
The two points that he had against O KC
Yeah I don't care about the number
So I'm trying to figure out
Is it the word point guard
But I don't what if they just said
Giving him to be a playmaker
But what I'm saying is
Is it the word point?
point guard that makes everyone go crazy or just say playmaker.
No, he said the responsibility.
He said his responsibility to get everybody involved.
Okay, so that's my thing.
Because you say point guard, point guard means get everybody involved.
That's what he thought.
Now, that's what I'm saying.
If they call him a playmaker, does anything, and he can do the same thing,
it changes everything.
It does.
Okay.
I don't think it does in his mind because he still has the pressure.
No, it does.
If you say point guard, he has to make,
if I just go out there and do your thing.
No, because he still has to.
pressure of making play.
No, no, no, no, no.
Playmaker, make you do that natural.
But he's not, he hasn't, he wasn't doing it.
But when you tell, so turn it out, so when you tell a guy like, I need you to go play
point guard, right?
That's different.
And his young, if you don't clarify for him, that's different.
If you let him come up with his own conclusion of what that means, history says point guard
means facilitator, get involved, I'm supposed to be these things, right?
That's what point guard in his mind says.
But if I tell you, Cooper, go out and be a playmaker.
That's the, it's just, look, it's different, it's different, but it's in the same lane.
No, no, no, no, no.
Let me tell you what, not for 18 year old.
Let me tell you why, I like explaining some shit.
I'm not supposed to you.
I'm explaining it.
Playmaker, compared to point guard, point guard systematically knows you have to do that at that.
Playmaker, go out and make plays.
Yeah, if you do not make those plays.
the pressure is just the same as not being able to set up your teammates because you're out there
and you're not making plays and you're only getting 10 points because you're not responsible
you're open but I'm responsible of making plays so when somebody that's saying me I got to make a play
and if I don't rather than you swinging it to someone but if I don't make the play and I'm getting
10 points in the in the 30 minutes that I'm playing 16 the pressure for me from what my responsibility
is it's still going to feel like I'm not getting the job done.
No, it's a playmaker.
No, it's not.
It's a different conversation.
It's not.
It's a different conversation.
I am a playmaker.
If I'm not making plays, how is it different?
Tell me how it's different if I'm not making it.
I'm not telling me to be a point out right now.
I think I got to say that right.
So this is right.
No.
If you got zero assists, if you got zero assists from the point guard position.
I'll see how to run an offense to play the right way.
So if somebody that comes natural to?
Yeah.
That's a point guard.
You tell a natural 6, 8, Luke,
Luca Donchis just to go out, tell him to be a playmaker.
It's natural because he plays the position of point guard.
Say it again?
He plays the position of point guard.
So you're saying say him to make plays is the same as being a point guard.
Because he plays the position.
It means the same thing to him.
Cooper Flagg don't play the position, so it don't mean the same thing to him.
But it is the same thing.
It is the same thing.
You hear what I say.
I'm saying.
Oh, you hear what I'm saying.
You're saying what I'm saying.
It's on the same plane.
But if you tell that same, so we have this same conversation with a point guard, it lands different.
100%.
But I'm saying if you say playmaker to a guy who's not, it's still the same thing.
It's just using a different word.
You're just saying playmaking.
You're just saying playmakers.
So if I say using a different word, he averaged, if you take out the one bad game he had against the best defense, he averaged 16 points.
But he feels comfortable now being a playmaker.
No, it's not necessarily.
I don't know.
As a point guard, it's like, oh.
He feels comfortable playing in his position, not being a playmaker.
His position, given to nobody else is out there, he has to make plays.
He's not saying that I feel comfortable in a playmaker.
And he's saying, I feel comfortable not being a point guard.
Not being a point guard.
That's what I'm saying.
Oh, naturally, naturally.
The stars here.
Right.
So if he changed the word, like we say, change the word and we tell him, go be a playmaker.
He's still going to have pressure.
not making plays
He is a playmaker now
But if he's not
Listen
So when he was playing
If we didn't put him
At the point guard position early
And he's still playing the way he's playing
The pressure of him
Not producing
To the level of his expectation
He's still going to feel like
I'm out of position
I'm not doing my team
Like if you look at the stats
It's the same
Just the word change
If you put the stats can be the same
But he can still feel like I'm not
I'm not the board
Yeah Brandon Williams
plays point guard right
Brendan
The kid Brandon, he's the point guard, right?
Just him, if he is out though with him, just hear me out, they start game one,
and you got another guy out there who you look at that could be the ball handler besides you,
he's more comfortable with the same conversation that they had before the season, right?
You can tell him that he's the point guard, right?
You say, I want you to go out to play a point.
Brandon, you're talking about.
No, no, no, Cooper Clay.
You can tell him that you want him to go out and be the point guard, right?
This is the conversation that Jake, but you got Brandon Williams out there or a deal of somebody who he can defer to
that look that he, in his mind,
is an actual point guard.
I'm saying?
He's more comfortable now.
But if he look out there as him, P.J.,
the mother, dude.
The tall line up.
Who the fuck going to bring the ball up besides me?
Clay can't dribble,
live it can't dribble,
Gavoc can't.
Which was what I was saying
about pressuring him,
making him do all this other shit
to make him uncomfortable.
Because that is not his position.
Yes.
So you put him in the position.
let's say regardless of him playing point guard,
he's still going to struggle.
That's what I'm saying.
He's still going to struggle whether it's point guard or playmaker.
He's still going to have to have an adjustment.
I hear what you're saying, yes.
Let's take our win because they're going to keep.
But it starts here, though.
It's a big difference.
It's a big difference.
Somebody coming down and doing this shit.
Starting off and swinging that motherfucker.
My bad.
My bad.
That sure is good.
It's porous.
I told him this way.
It's a difference, man.
The little small win.
If somebody come off that big a swing.
to you and tell you to go, they run to play.
It's a swing. Now I tell you, I swing it to you,
go. It's a different.
You know what I'm saying? Is Max Christy a point guard?
No, right? So when they play
against Milwaukee, he's doing the same
exact thing he did without the label.
It's the same thing. I remember every time they told me,
we need you to get the team more involved.
My brain shuts off from scoring.
And now I got to play point guard.
Now I was sitting there like, oh.
Now, you know what I mean? It becomes, yeah.
But that's not what they meant, though.
They meant when you see the open man, pass it, not be a point guard.
Because, still, we want you to be you.
But you got clarifying that you're drawing three people to you.
You're like, man, I don't see them niggins.
I'm sorry.
I don't see nobody.
Like, he probably went in there like, like, like even where Brony.
You got to clarify it.
You got to clarify.
You're going in there.
There's five minutes.
I need five shots.
Yeah, you got to tell you got to clarify.
You got to have to get.
I get five shots.
Same as playmaking, right?
The same as playmaking.
Playmaking don't mean go out there trying to find guys.
We need you to bring, no, no, no, no, no.
Play this is play.
Playmate.
Point guard.
Like Brutley James, he's going under trying to be a point guard.
Go out there, bitch.
Go play basketball.
Bill Grisett, if the play says shoot it, you shoot it.
If the play says pass it, you pass it.
But you get in the gap, you put pressure on the rear.
them, they come, you pass.
They don't come, you lay the bitch up.
They don't come, they don't rotate you, you shoot it.
Like, yeah, yeah, poor.
Playmaker means, mad, fuck, go to motherfuckering.
Playmaker mean, be aggressive.
Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Be fucking aggressive.
Play hard, make them, make them adjust to you.
But that's his label now, playmaker.
Be aggressive.
Be aggressive.
All right, so we got one quick thing with the Mazz we got a hit,
and then we got one more thing that we're out of here for the week.
But, Gil, so Anthony Davis has been sideline since October 29th
while dealing with the cap strain,
expected to miss at least another week.
AD only played in five of the MAV's 16 games this season.
A new signature shoe he got, baby.
So AD recently had Mazz fans in their feelings when he was spotted on the bench rocking a Packer's jersey.
Elise Davis was wearing...
But if you really wanted to troll...
He's wearing a Jordan Love.
No, no, no, if you really wanted to troll, you would have put on a Michael Parsons.
That's what I said.
If you really wanted to troll the motherfuckers and get under somebody's skin, you would have put on a micah jersey.
He probably would have made it out of the stadium.
But, okay, for the record, 80, a long-time Packers fan has worn Packers jerseys on the bench during games in the past.
I don't think with the Mavs, but it was only played in 14 games since joining the Mazz back in February.
They're in good luck.
Mazz are 816.
Only 14.
One thing I know about my people since last year.
I think I know about my people, they're confrontational.
Yeah, right?
One thing I know about my folks from Dallas, they're confrontational.
Only 14 games?
Better suit them up, young fella.
10 February?
I mean, it's not that it can hurt.
He already heard him.
He already heard it.
Dooom.
Doo do.
But, AD, 14 games, Mazur, 86 those games for the second comparison.
Because I know you care.
Lucas, 22, 30-point games during that time frame, 26 and 13 in game play with the Lakers.
Push the button again, bro.
You got to double it.
No, you got to stop it.
I'm pressing the button.
Now you hear, once you hear that noise.
Bro.
Now it's back.
Now stop.
All right, ladies gentlemen, don't mind.
39.
14.
Okay.
Yes.
Maybe you should not have...
If you're gonna do it.
Where do Micah?
If you're gonna do it, do it.
And fuck the Packers.
Yeah, I agree, but...
Fuck Cowboys.
Hey, that's...
Watch your mouth now.
This is...
That's how I'm feeling.
Watch your mouth.
Ramps?
You know, of course.
10 and 2?
We're 102 right now, you're 10.
You bet you won't go to Dallas.
Oh, he's Chicago Bears.
Oh, he's Chicago Bears, but I'm LA fan too.
He's Chicago Bears.
all that shit right now losing the first round.
Hey, fuck all, y'all.
Fuck all y'all.
It's the Eagles.
It's the Eagles.
Well, yeah.
Cowboys suck.
Listen, they beat the NFC East and the Raiders.
They can't see nobody else.
Yeah, Eagles.
Yeah, Gerald.
I'm talking about.
I'm talking about.
I'm talking about my team.
I got me.
Yeah, you should be.
Whoever over there on the grid island want to battle too, what's it?
There you.
It's been 25 years.
Last of y'all,
last time y'all, yeah, it's been 25.
Yeah, it's been 25 years, so I, yeah, y'all got to be happy with a little.
Anybody on the grid.
Anybody on the grid.
I want to talk to the football with the champs.
Motherfucking age.
Huh.
The champs.
Oklahoma drill.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
We will do Oklahoma drill with the arena.
Grit iron.
No, no.
No.
You're going to trade it up to two to give Mitchell truce.
That's the wild.
That's the wild.
I want to see Shy versus Gerald McCourt.
Crazy.
Trade it up to give me.
Girl been ducked about smoke for a while.
It's all good.
I want to see a thing.
They keep that chain and not snatches.
Man, it is a glorious chain.
He won't my crown, but you know.
Shout out of the Keith to leave.
I got to the crew over there.
Green and grid iron size.
We got one more thing we got to talk about, and then we will go off there.
But look, after starting the season, one of four, Raptors have won nine of their last 10 games.
Who?
The Toronto Raptors, deal.
I was running.
Yes, we are.
With my brother, we are.
We're talking about the show of the video.
Damn.
Hold on.
Hold on.
We're talking who.
You said this is the last thing.
You're talking who?
You don't what?
I watch B.I.
It's an important piece of video.
Three of them averaging 20 over there.
They're hooping.
They won nine or last.
You stopped all that for the Raptors.
One nine of the last 10 games.
Defeating the Sixers in Philly Wednesday night.
Brandon Ingram, R.J. Barrett.
Most of our 22 points in the victory.
But wake up, can you?
Wake up.
Highlight of the night came from Scotty Barnes.
Let's take a look at the highlight from this evening.
If we can.
Are we really going to get the last segment
to talk about the Toronto Rockin' dog?
The Dodgers just with all the Canada.
L.A. running Canada right now.
What are you talking about?
The big market, bro.
This is a big market.
We're supposed to be talking about.
Drake.
It's a big market for getting their ass with by the L.A.
Kendrick.
Dodgers.
Come on, man.
We didn't say anything about Dr.
Otani.
Yes.
Not anything about Drake.
Miggie.
Andy Pahead.
And he from L.A.
Who?
Brandon.
No, he's from Charlotte.
There.
Henry.
