I saw, you know, trade. It was a three-team trade with Phoenix Pelicans in Miami. Yeah. And I saw my name in it. So I just waited for my agent to call me. I didn't know what to do. I just sat there on my couch. You didn't even talk to your agent before you saw it on the ticker.

No, I saw it on the ticker first. Okay. Because it was things happening before it becomes official. Sometimes it be on the ticker, but it ain't official yet. Okay. And so my agent waited until everything was official, and then he called me and was like, oh, this is what's happening. And I played the Heat two days later. That was the first team I played. It ain't got a dub. You need to go at him? Come on, come on, man. So did you go there and come back? No, I stayed in my apartment in Miami. I met the team.

The team was flying in. I stayed in my apartment. I met them at the hotel, met everybody, went back to my apartment, and then met them at shoot around and played the game. And you just had to figure stuff out in New Orleans in terms of accommodations, all that stuff? Yes. How'd that work out? What I did was I just stayed in a hotel for the rest of the season.

Okay. And then the next season, because I ended up staying there, then the next year I found a place to stay. Okay. Yeah. Wild times. Sending Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks to the Knicks for guards Evan Fournier, Quentin Grimes, Malachi Flynn. The still bucket list this season, Ryan Archidiakono.

Nice. Got it. And two future second-round picks. So Bogdanovich is averaging 20 points, three rebounds, three assists, shooting nearly 42% from three. Burks is averaging 13, three rebounds, shooting 40 from three. Good move for the Knicks as they deal with injuries to Julius Randle, OG Ananobi, and Mitchell Robinson. I mean, it's a good trade for them because, you know, defensive-minded team that just got more scoring that can help them, especially in the playoffs when, you know, things get tight. But this looks like the meet that they acquired really good assets so they can try to go and push for someone this summer.

Okay. A bigger name. They're going to go for a bigger name this summer. A number one. Because you have two, you got two guys that you can really, I got some draft picks, you got a 20 point score and a 12 point score. You can really go after a big name now. That can add to that roster that just takes them over the top. I think Bogdanovich has got a deal through next season, but Burks becomes a free agent this season,

so if they want to get up off that contract, it'll give them some more flexibility. Brandon, do you like this move for the Knicks? Yeah, I do like it. I do like it. They added some scoring. Bogdanovich, he can score. I play with him up with the Wizards, so I like it. I like it.

They can compete for sure. Okay. And Norris, when you look at this Knicks squad, does a move like this help to make them a legit threat in the East? I think it does. When you say a threat, I think on any given night, they can give anybody a problem, and having that spacing with Bondanovic out there is going to allow,

you know, Brunson to work. And if you sag off with Bondanovic, you know, he's going to knock it down. He's going to give Randall a chance to, you know, ice on work as well. And so, like Gil said, their defensive, you know, Tibbs is a defensive guy, so anytime you can add scoring and take the pressure off your defense, you know, it's a win-win for you. So Nick's currently tied with the Bucks for third in the East, Gil, as you alluded to. This season, Nick's got O.J. Ananobi, Bogdanovich, and Burks without giving up a first-round pick. for you. you work out once with the team and once by yourself and you think that's enough. But then when you're trying to make it to a level where not many people make it, and I'm watching Kobe, I'm like, he work out four, five times a day. I'm like, okay. So it gave me encouragement to know that it's possible to work out that much. And it worked out for me. I was able to get drafted from a small school. So it inspired me to work out so that I can make it.

K, how about yourself? I just wanted to beat him. Competing and you just bring out greatness in people. They just make you compete that much harder. Cause you know what he's, you know what he's putting into it. So if you're able to beat him, then you... Accomplish something.
