Here's was cracking in Gil's Arena today. Detroit snapped Charlotte's nine-game winning streak with a malice in the Hornets Palace. We recap the biggest fight. The biggest fight of the season so far was getting turned up. A lot of ejections suspensions on the way. After getting waived by the Nets, Cam Thomas made the move to Milwaukee to join Janice and the Bucks. Can Cam reserved his career in Cream City?

And Cooper Flagg has been bawling while the Mabs have been falling. Is the number one pig proven he's really like that. So we're going to get right to it. Hornets, we're in the midst of a nine-game winning streak and in their matchup against the East Top Seated Pistons Monday. The heated game led to an all-out brawl

and what turned into the Malice in the Hornets Palace. Let's take a look at what went down. It was a lot. Things got turned up midway through the third quarter when Jalen Duren took exception to a hard foul by Musa Diabate. The pair butted heads. They got in each other's grills. And then Duren mushed diabate with five fingers to the face.

So after the mushing diabate, tried to take multiple swings at Duren with Miles Bridges joining the action as well. They were restrained by security and coaches from both teams in the situation. So moments later, Bridges went back at Durn again. This time, Isaiah Stewart rushed off the Pistons bench to get into the action, defend his teammate.

Stewart put Bridges in the headlock as they exchanged some blows. Again, they had to be separated. This Uncourt melee lasted several minutes for the rolls in the melee during Diabate Bridges and Beefstool were all ejected from the game. Hornets head coach Charles Lee was also ejected in the fourth quarter after arguing a no call with an official and attempting to go out the rep before being restrained as well.

Hornets were down by 16 in the fourth quarter rallied to cut the devils to four with the minute remaining. But the Pistons held on to get the win paced by Kay Cunnington's hands game high, 33 points.

Gil, so what's your reaction to the malice in the Hornus Palace? I see smoke. The smoke machine has not been refilled, Jack, Gil. But there is smoke in the arena. It was, um, if you got to sit back and watch it all unfold,

It was you can see the lead up. Was it Mutei? Musa Diabate. Yeah. You figured that was about to happen. Mutei? The play before that, right? He got a little handle hit him with a little boom, a little float.

Then they called the timeout. And then Durham said, I do this shit myself. And then they threw it back to him. And then that happened. When you're going against Detroit, right? And I think Detroit should beat the team. team should be fined. Because you know you have a wild pit on that side that only is coming there for action.

And when action is happening, why you do not have a leash on it because it's getting loose and that's the job of Stewart. So when that fight happened, Stewart was coming. But on the low, he's very disciplined because the fight started. with just two. And he stayed in his spot. And then when Bridges got there, and he realized, oh, that's what you're doing. And that's when he came with ice packs and rapsing,

trying to figure out why he was iced in the third quarter. But he came with the ice packs and all. So I can't blame him for doing what he does. You know, Bridges jumped in. So he jumped in, which is fair. one of those things, man, it's like, I get it. But, you know, it's still, none of y'all are worth losing $2, $3, $5, $10, $20 million on a punch. So it's only depending on who it is.

I mean, you know, you're losing money, depending on how many games it takes. So, you know, that's the only thing you got to look for. But, you know, Stuart, no, he was, like, you got to commend him because he knows if he sits on the bench, his teammates are going to be like, yo, what's up? So the fact that he knows if he leaves the bench, he's getting fined and suspended and he still does it. He really wears his hat like a true pro. So there's good entertainment. It's just that, you know, with Detroit in the situation that they're in, you know, he's a valuable piece to the team. So, you know, come playoff times and when the game gets down to, it's going to be worse than this, you know, what are you going to do?

Are you going to run out there again, knock somebody out? Or you're going to, you know, do something that's going to take yourself out of the situation for your team? So, you know, it's just something to think about, you know, if I'm the opposite team going into the playoffs, knowing that, you know, I could put that 14, 15 guy in the game and, you know, you know, go out there and make some madness. So it's just a, you know, just a thing to think about with him. So let's shift over to this side shot. Hornets, your Dark Horse team.

You said the Hornets would have a better season than the Bucks. Very early on that has come to fruition as of right now. What do you think about this whole situation, the fisticuffs with the pistons and the Hornets in Charlotte on Monday? Not much on it. Just a big distraction from what the Hornets was trying to do. They got distracted. And ultimately lost their momentum because you can be triggered easily through some different style of play.

So I don't got too much, you know. I knew they weren't going to really do no fighting and nothing like that. But I wanted to see some hoop. I wanted to see them win that game just to get to continue that momentum. Yeah. Had an entire franchise record with a 10-game winner street rocket so he got snapped by the piston. Yeah. Having mutual alignment always says good things about a player who's

playing in a bad place and wants to go to a better atmosphere. I think Milwaukee has vets that can give confidence to a player like him to give him the green light to go do what he does best. When I was out for the 20 games, Michael Porter Jr. stepped it up.

And I don't know if Brooklyn wanted to change directions and say they wanted to build around him or not, but Cam Thomas comes back and goes to 13 points per game, says something about what me and Nick was advocating for as far as them devaluing him so that he's not worth what he needs to be worth when he hits the market.
