Episode Date: January 22, 2026

The New York Knicks Downward Spiral FIRES UP Gil's Arena as Gilbert Arenas & The Gil's Arena Crew react to the Knicks' calling a players only meeting following their worst loss of the season and break... down their response after the team fired off a 54 point win over the Brooklyn Nets, led by Jalen Brunson. They discuss what the Knicks need to do to improve to take advantage of the weak Eastern Conference, sparking a debate on if they need to trade Karl Anthony Towns and go after big names like Giannis Antetokounmpo. Speaking of the Greek Freak, the Gil's Arena Crew reacts to Giannis calling out his Milwaukee Bucks' teammates following their embarassing loss to the OKC Thunder and discuss when enough will be enough for Giannis as he may force his way out of Milwaukee sooner rather than later. They then break down the OKC side of the ball where Shai Gilgeous Alexander continued his bid for back to back NBA MVP awards before remincing on Kobe Bryant's 81 point game on the 20th anniversary of the Black Mamba's historic game. Finally, they react to Isaiah Thomas' take on the current state of the NBA and give their thoughts on proper ettiquette in AAU games when blowing out a team. PLEASE give us a Like and Subscribe!! Starting point is 00:00:42 So how you got to give somebody a bucket. But this is, Gil's Arena presented by Underdog, whoop-whoop. I'm merely a host, Josiah Johnson. We got NBA legend and current Arc Raiders player, Gilbert Arena. No, no, no, no, no. A thousand push-ups today, man. That's his new name. Before the show, Gil told us that he does a thousand push-ups a day.
Starting point is 00:01:00 In 20 minutes. 20 minutes. I didn't say 20 minutes. I said you could. I was looking at him. You could. He could. See his arm.
Starting point is 00:01:08 My work is two and a half hours. You'll be like him if you did a thousand push-ups a day? You're acting like I've been doing it for a year. Yes, you have. My second week. This is week two. Oh, okay. He did say all that.
Starting point is 00:01:22 This week two. So have you done a thousand push-ups in two weeks? You still. I'll do it every day. I know. But you've done 14,000 push-ups in two weeks? A thousand? Huh?
Starting point is 00:01:31 to the last two weeks. Yes. And two hours, too. You might have. My workout is about 430 to the 7, 738. So you knock out a thousand. That ain't good growth hormone. Then 100 quick squats.
Starting point is 00:01:46 Then I walk up and down two times. That's a set. And then again, up and down, up and down again. It takes about two and a half hours. Then I get in the sauna. Boom. So when will we like see the results? I just, you're kind of yo.
Starting point is 00:02:02 I'm a push-up man, I don't know. You are the push-up man, mother-for-thouser a thousand a day, yes. I'm not to push-up man. That's a whole new superhero. Push-up man. You just said a little skinny. I need 50. You got to give you 50.
Starting point is 00:02:18 Push-up man. I mean, you should be doing you. Aren't you about to fight? Blueface? Mm-hmm. When you quit. Damn. Nah, you know, I just got other shit going on.
Starting point is 00:02:27 I forgot about that little shit. Damn. Little shit. A little shab. You're going to fight no nigga from Dale? There ain't no little shit. Damon. You're going to be up for a man.
Starting point is 00:02:41 We got NBA champion of the world swaggy P. Nick, y'all, back here with him. Looking forward to seeing that wine not go anywhere on the carpet or couch. I'm doing my thousand lot of pushers today. Okay. You're getting it right. On this side of the couch, we got the bandit called Cemetery Lair, ECWA Champion of the World,
Starting point is 00:02:59 Rashop McCants. Mr. 2,000 push us. Fuck you, you, man. Last but not least, represent tough crowd and a card-carrying country club member
Starting point is 00:03:11 we got Mr. Big Brandon Jennings back here with him. Are you getting better? Yep. He should be Tiger Wood. He should be nice right now. That's the great
Starting point is 00:03:24 that's the crazy part we know he's not. Time and back. And don't even look at you. If we say, yo, let's go out there right now. And we say, you can't bring no extra balls. No, nothing. First hole, we're done.
Starting point is 00:03:37 You're done. I'm beating everybody on this couch. I have faith that you missed me. You should. I'm meeting everybody on this couch. I know nobody on this couch is good, so I'm not even worried about that. We will find out in a few weeks. I am the best, bro.
Starting point is 00:03:49 I got the clubs in the trunk right now. I keep everything. You know, you know how far I hit the ball? You know how far out? Bar left? Bar up? No. Every time, far left, every time.
Starting point is 00:04:01 Straight ahead. That shit, his shit gonna be coming. Oh, it's shit just like my form. That shit just like my form. He's bringing like a baseball bet. Yeah, his shit will be all over the place. Last time we did some shit like this, he said he could beat me in 30, a 101, three-point shooting. And he's too strong, he had all this, and then it was 10-1.
Starting point is 00:04:23 I swear. Give me on the tee. He didn't go on the range. It's going to be like, I did not know. He's been practicing. I did not know he was like, he's been practicing. At the range. My scouts, my scouts has been watching.
Starting point is 00:04:34 I'm telling you. It's like, yeah, you know. He goes on my spot at night now. The McKinns be coming here like a little bit later in the day. Yeah. At the night time, he can't, you know, well, the hills, you know, the hills have eyes. It's different. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:04:47 It's different. It's different. You know, you got to come with your collar shirt tucked in and everything. Got my own joint. It's called the Green Club. Uh-uh. We only go to the Green. All right, we can see.
Starting point is 00:04:57 We hit it to the Green. Let's see. We will find out. February 12. No, we can find out before that. Before that? Okay, well, we'll see what's going on. But we got a lot of basketball to discuss. Here's what's cracking in Gil's arena today. Yanis called out his teammates after a blowout home loss to the short-handed thunder. When will enough be enough for the Greek freak?
Starting point is 00:05:16 I don't like the way Yon is talking, Mr. B. He sounded like... He's sounding like... Y'all better come up off the rock. The Knicks held a players only meeting after their worst loss of the season. Responding with the biggest win in franchise history. But what's New York's biggest issue right now? And today, the 20th anniversary of Kobe's iconic 81-point game. So we're taking a trip back down memory lane.
Starting point is 00:05:43 But before we get into all that, as always, this show is brought to you by Underdog. If you're new to Underdog, now's the time. Buck snapped a three-game losing streak with a win over the Hawks on MLK Day. after that game, Janice was asked
Starting point is 00:07:29 how confident he was he would finish the season with the Bucks offered this response. I don't know. I take it day by day. I don't know. Take it day by day. Interesting comments there from the Greek freak. Wednesday night, the Bucks were back in action
Starting point is 00:07:48 against a short-handed Thunder Squad. OK, C was missing two starters, two key reserves. But the Bucks were also without Miles Turner and Kevin Porter, Jr. Still seemed like a good opportunity for Milwaukee. could snatch another win to get back in the playoff contention, but the reigning MVP had other plans. Let's take a look at the highlights if we can, please. This game was over after the first quarter as the Thunder jumped out to a 20-point lead.
Starting point is 00:08:12 After the first 12 minutes of action, it was the buck's largest fourth quarter deficit this season. SGA put together a dominant performance dropping 40 points on 16 to 19 shooting to extend his 20-point scoring streak to 115 straight games. also had 11 assists and 7 rebounds. This is just the second time in at least the last 45 years. A player had at least 40 points in 10 assists in the game while shooting 80% or better from the field with Emmanuel Quigley accomplishing that feat against the Warriors earlier this week.
Starting point is 00:08:41 So meanwhile, Janice, underwhelming performance by his standards, finished with 19 points on 8 of 11 shooting along with 14 rebounds, seven assists and 31 minutes of action. It was a four straight game. Janice has had 13 or fewer field goal attempts well under his average of 17 per game this season. Thunder led by as much as 25 in the game, went on to get the wire-to-wire win with a 20-point blowout.
Starting point is 00:09:09 Damn. Yonnas had 19? 19. Yeah, 40. Only took 11 shots in the game. Milwaukee's 2 and 9 in the last 11 games against teams with a winning record. 18 and 25, 11th, in a very weak Eastern Conference.
Starting point is 00:09:25 So after the loss, Janice called out his team for the embarrassing performance. You're not playing hard. Not played hard. We not do the right team. Not played to win. Not played together. I came into three. It's not there.
Starting point is 00:09:39 Guys are a bit selfish. A guy tried to look for their own shots instead of lead for their right, for the right shot for the team. Guys tried to do it on their own. But at now we, I think we just don't get it. I just don't get it. What's going to help you get it as a team? Nothing. Nothing.
Starting point is 00:10:01 You gotta go through this, what we're going through. You gotta come watch film, part. Hopefully, by the experience that you create through the adversity that you face and the winning elasses, eventually you're gonna get it. We don't have time for that. We don't be here. We got 40, 39, 40, 39 years left. We don't have time.
Starting point is 00:10:41 Really, they don't. Yann is looking very sad and somber there. Disappointed even. So, Gil, which reaction Yian is calling out his Bucks teammates after another embarrassing loss? They're not playing hard enough. They're not getting him to ball? I mean, which one is it?
Starting point is 00:11:08 Yes. they're not shooting, or they're shooting too much, you're not looking for the open man, they're looking for themselves? Is that the gist of all of it? They don't get it right now. They need to figure it out. They don't get it.
Starting point is 00:11:23 See, the problem is he's been out, and then the point guard has been playing point guard lately, you know, since he's been out, and now he's came back, and obviously you see him playing point guard, and, you know, it kind of looks like he's throwing everything out of order of what they were used to.
Starting point is 00:11:44 Usually when you say you're better without the star players because the star player plays a certain way and the rest of the team as a unit play a certain way. And if you're, if you, especially beginning of the season, you are out a while, they learn how to play without you. They're not better without you. They just learn to play without. So him coming back, they're like,
Starting point is 00:12:08 all of, technically all of us are suffering with him back. So now it's like, yeah, it's him, not us. He needs to adjust to us this year or until everything gets straight. But the fact that he's not even taking shots. Adjusts. Does he think he's going to win games deferring? Like, I mean, at this point, you know your team is not that good. He's supposed to take 20, 30 shots.
Starting point is 00:12:32 That's the program. Like, get in where you fit in. Right. If you think this is your championship team and this is, this was a playoff, get to the, no, that's not this team right now. Right? So you're going to have to, what is this the anniversary of what? Cubbies 81.
Starting point is 00:12:51 This team right now. Grab the ball, go. Who, you're honest? Yeah. You just got to do it until they catch, until they catch up. He's taking 11, 12, 13 shots. Never. 21 championships he wasn't taking at.
Starting point is 00:13:08 23 shots in the last two games. Huh? 23 shots in the last. I don't want to be there. What's the difference though? Like back then, even with that 81 Kobe had, it wasn't triple teaming him and quadruple team in him. No, they couldn't.
Starting point is 00:13:24 He was getting that bitch off. Kobe was a different type of like score. It was double difference. Like Yon is not a type of score where he can just get that bitch off before they get there. So what they're doing is they're clouding paint. They're limiting him in his openness. He has to defer. And they're not passing that bitch back to him.
Starting point is 00:13:41 That's what's happening. Like he's trying to get openers. You see how they was, you know, loading up on the backside. I'm looking at Kuzma. Kuzma, when your man leave you to go steal the ball from Yannis, you've got to say something to the nigger. Hey, my watch out. Something.
Starting point is 00:13:56 He's getting frustrated based on limited touches. He's getting based on, you're not open, bro. Like, they loading up on you. You're the only guy we got. They know this. And back to what Gil was saying, as far as them playing well without him or not well, but to getting accustomed to each other without him, that's the scenario that's happening.
Starting point is 00:14:16 I think we've seen all good players deal with that coming back. Like, yeah, they're playing good without it. But we need to figure out how to reintegrate me into the system. We're not about to have this the whole time. They're probably tired of hearing all this shit. They're playing without him. Stop playing good. But who is he referring to?
Starting point is 00:14:36 Like, that's the question. And I know that locker room tired of hearing. just hearing shit, you know. You get tired. Like, if you want to leave, it's just leave, bro. Like, all this, throwing everybody under the bus, teammates and stuff.
Starting point is 00:14:50 You know you're not happy there. Come on, when the last time? Nobody else to the team took 11 shots. So you're honest, when you took 11 shots. Last game? It's happened pretty frequently. You don't want to be there, bro.
Starting point is 00:15:03 Rolins, take it too many shots. Ain't green, you're taking too many shots. Derry Byrd. Like, Guy Harris. one shot perfect perfect perfect ralas was open though yeah ralas is open one shot perfect but you need somebody
Starting point is 00:15:19 perfect okay kuzma 12 shots too many too many no off the bench 40s 14 too many who you think you is me you need somebody here
Starting point is 00:15:34 PD nan pick seven shots too many way too many whoever Anthony nine shots all the Too many. You seven for nine, though? That was Cole Anthony.
Starting point is 00:15:44 Too many. I'm seven for nine. No, no, no, no. No, seven for nine is perfect. But what I got, I got, I got 11 shots. I'm eight for 11. I'm eight for 11. A.J. Mitchell took 12 shots.
Starting point is 00:15:56 I said it's not. And it stopped Shay. Huh? And it stopped Shay from 40. But he's starting. He's a started guard. Kuzma ain't never, hey, he ain't doing that. AJ Mitchell being bawling.
Starting point is 00:16:09 Cusman has not. been involved. It's like 19 shot. I'm just saying, so somebody else got to take some shots. That's what I'm saying. I'm going to get by 19,
Starting point is 00:16:16 though. Y'all figure it out. Somebody got, you need somebody to shoot, bro. Yeah, me. Especially Yonnis. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:22 He's not pulling up shooting threes and mid-range shots. He's trying to get to the hole. You need your other guys to make shots to that's open up. You with this other guy shit. What's with you? No, what's with you?
Starting point is 00:16:33 You have like one person can score a hundred and fifty points. That's a end of us. That's still not a hundred point. That's still not a hundred point. 181. 81, man. Somebody else scored on the team, too. They win an overtime.
Starting point is 00:16:44 Mush had 12, I think. Yeah. Like, what are you? Not 12 shots, 12 points. Look at it. Bring it. He's always with this. Everybody else got to get into ball.
Starting point is 00:16:52 Like, Mush had 13. Chris Ben had 12. Hey, I know my shit, man. 13. Chris Ben took 8 shots. Eight. He got 10.
Starting point is 00:16:59 He got 11 shots. Thank you. Thank you. Oh, 11. What was his shoe? What was the shoe? He took 11. He was 5 for 11.
Starting point is 00:17:06 Five for 11. One person. 11. 11. Goby. A 12. 12. 28 to 46.
Starting point is 00:17:10 Okay, 46. 46. That's not bad. And how many? All right, so y'all telling you, let it's take 46 lay up. 28, take 28. 46 players.
Starting point is 00:17:22 You want to drive. Half of that. Half from full court, 46 times. That's what, Yanna. You know, just tried the shit up 46 times and laid up. It seems like you have a problem
Starting point is 00:17:31 with the best player on the team. No, it seems like you have a problem with winning. You seem like you have a problem with winning. That's trying to get the ball to the ball. side kicks. They are side kicks for a reason. Lakers didn't win that year. They won when they got other motherfuckers. Scoring.
Starting point is 00:17:48 Better players. Score. No, better players. Better players. Biggest that could score. We need you to shoot. He just won the ball in everybody. Kuzm is a cool one of the championship.
Starting point is 00:18:01 Shooting 12 shots. A game with the Lakers, with LeBron. So he's not LeBron. Kuzman was not shooting. 12 shots of game. It average like 14, 15. Not shots. You still, man, look it up. Not shot. When they won a championship? Cousma, what the late? 12 shots again? What option was Cusma then? So why is it, road? Why he can't be that option here? Who's better than you? Yeah, he can be fifth option here. Elever shots again. Thank you, man. Stop fucking
Starting point is 00:18:32 playing with me. You're off the bed. That's off the bed. That's off the bench. What? That's off the I said, you got one. I asked one option. Three seasons, you got one right, motherfucker. No, I just asked him. I said, one. Nine shots per game in the playoffs. What option was he?
Starting point is 00:18:47 That's all I asked. And you said, can he be here? I'm saying, yes, he could be that option here. Be fifth. Be the fifth option, come off the bench, to take 11 shots. Be the fifth option. Be the fifth option for the ball.
Starting point is 00:18:57 It wasn't. Cousin. He said, Cusman won a championship. I said, okay, if you want that guy. He wasn't a fifth. He wasn't a fifth. How an option was he? He was coming off the bench.
Starting point is 00:19:05 He was, he was, he was there some days, three, some days, four. Because it was only AD in fucking LeBron. Who else is better than Cozman besides him two when that team? Who was on that squad? Okay, I took, Rondo, he didn't shoot that much. He didn't shoot a shooter. Danny Green.
Starting point is 00:19:25 You can take that much? Okay, so Coosman third or fourth? I'll take that third or fourth. I'll take that Cozman third or fourth. Yeah, Javelle, Dwight. I'll take that Cozman third and fourth. Yeah. With the Wizards, he was the first option.
Starting point is 00:19:38 So he went from third to one to six on this team that's like the Wizards. No, he's two here. No. Huh? He's two. Porter is two, I thought. No. Or the Big Eye, motherfucker.
Starting point is 00:19:50 Wait, Porter's not the second eye. He's 12th. Yeah, Portis or Porter is two. Oh, he come off the bench. You see the problem now? The guy you think is number two or you think it's number four is number two. Well, Porter is number two. Are rolling.
Starting point is 00:20:06 JPJ did not play in that game. Rollins is number two. Miles Turner did not play in that game. Rollins is number two on that team. I hear what he's saying. It don't make sense. Who the number two, three, four. Y'all all not doing what you're posting.
Starting point is 00:20:20 Give me the ball. If you're saying Rollins is number two, give me the ball. Yes, give me the ball. Every time. Go sit in the corner. But that's something they got to get. It's not coach. You got to let people know they roll some time.
Starting point is 00:20:31 And you. Yep. Yeah. I was going to say that too. Like, if it can't be on. He's probably trying to be too. Coach needs to let him know. Do you ramp up his volume?
Starting point is 00:20:42 We've been to training camp, right? Training, you've been training camp? Yeah, yeah. You've been training camp. Can the coach tell us who's number two, or does that training camp, or your play tell you who's number two? I think it's play calling.
Starting point is 00:20:58 You can get play calls for number two. No. Like, if Nick's number two, you're number one. You're going to have your set plays, but we know this plays for, Hill. And we know this play
Starting point is 00:21:11 that we're running the Iverson Cuff for Nick Nick is going to decide whether he shoot that shot or not and he don't
Starting point is 00:21:17 shoot that shot it ain't for him no more but once he passed that bitch up oh that's somebody else shit
Starting point is 00:21:22 that's what I think the number two is when the coach call your play and you get that constant play like you
Starting point is 00:21:28 make it run it again all right now we're going run this ISO for the second side all that shit
Starting point is 00:21:34 is number two shit number three number four you get your shit off the fast break, you're getting your shit off the glass, and you might have 12, 15, 16 just based on the floor of the game. But one and two is getting a play called normally.
Starting point is 00:21:49 First day of Trinica. Who was our number two, but who thought they were number two? I'm not going to answer that. I don't know. Karan? Karin was number two. He thought he was number two. Antoine Jameson.
Starting point is 00:22:05 Yeah, for sure. Because I got the ball. I got the ball. I get my pick and roll. I get my assistant off of Antoine. So he's number two when I'm on the court. Karan's number three. If I'm off the court, Karan's number one.
Starting point is 00:22:18 Right. But he thought he was number two. Hey, Karan hit me. He was kind of mad. I'm sure. You don't like shit you do? Thub juice was like, that juice came out last time.
Starting point is 00:22:31 You said something about it. I'm just letting you know. Well, I'm just said. Number three. Number two. Boys, Milwaukee don't play. Yeah, they're not playing. The boys in Milwaukee is not playing.
Starting point is 00:22:44 That's why we're talking about him, right? Watch your back. I got no comment. Mr. B, we need a comment. Mr. 414, Mr. Bucks and 6. I ain't got no comment. We didn't see you dancing over there, maybe that's been. We have not seen you dancing.
Starting point is 00:22:57 Go and go and dance. It's quiet. They're going to each other. 90% the offense is dead. The team buoying each other. The team born and players. The fans. Does it go back?
Starting point is 00:23:12 You need to go there and bring that gentleman spirit. I am going back. By that time, they'll be probably done. Do they respect Janus or not? Yeah, they respect Yonis. Why they're not passing on the ball? He don't want the ball. You're my little brother to ball.
Starting point is 00:23:27 I'm sure he has opportunities to score any time he wants. You're right? He has that win. He started getting mad. He started pouting and giving the ball on it. You do something with it. You do that. You all think y'all can pay without me?
Starting point is 00:23:39 Go. But they're not playing with a heap. He won't play, he don't want to be there. Oh, well, you know that. He don't like losing. I think, I think just from both sides, the fans, the, I think everybody just checked out. Yeah. I mean, 11th in the Easter Conference Week East coming into this season.
Starting point is 00:23:56 You got Janus Perennial. It's bad energy. I can't see the fans checked out because they wouldn't even be there. No, I mean, they're booing. I mean, I felt like when they were booing and he was boring them back, it was kind of just like, yeah, this is. Good reason to booed out that were getting smacked. Yeah, that's like. Fans made their harder money to watch them.
Starting point is 00:24:12 up. Like, you know how I mentally checked out. You got to be to start booing somebody back from the, like, think about that. Think how crazy you got to be in this moment. They booed him going in the, uh, and he just started to turn out. He had to think about that all half time.
Starting point is 00:24:27 He had to think about it. I got something for y'all. I think he should stay with it, man. It starts. I think you should stay with it. If this is going to be the worst part of your career is when y'all going through the worst moments of the organization After winning the championship,
Starting point is 00:24:42 you get to look back at this moment. If you stand with them, you get to look back and be like, man, we went through some shit. They was booing me and all kinds of shit. But we turned it around. But if you jump ship now, it's always going to be a part of your story. See, LeBron did it three times.
Starting point is 00:24:58 Hey, you got a chance to not do it at all. Just relocating. You got a chance to stay here just like Steph. Steph got a chance to jump ship. Y'all meet up. Hey, but if you don't, you can look back. weather the storm and say, look, man, we was going through some shit.
Starting point is 00:25:13 I had Kyle Kuzma on my team. They got traffic Milwaukee, like the trade for it. What happened to AJ? Young boy, oh, no, he's in what? We got rid of him. AJ Green. That's what we're talking. We're talking about this.
Starting point is 00:25:29 Jay Johnson. Johnson, remember? Young boy. Young boy, we drafted. We drafted AJ Johnson. We got rid of him. He was young and Warren. He got him for Kuzma.
Starting point is 00:25:39 Ah, okay. I remember. Yeah, they just not I don't know. And that's hard. Sometimes I always ask I always ask general managers When you're making the move
Starting point is 00:25:51 What are you looking at? Are you looking at a name? Or are you looking at a skill? Right? It's like when people do Like they're starting fives, right? And he's like, well, are you starting fire to give it to me?
Starting point is 00:26:05 And then they'll go, obviously. They go Jordan. Then they go Duncan. And then they go And I'm like, they can't play together. First of all, Duncan is on the right side. Shaquilla's on the right side. They both can't play on the left.
Starting point is 00:26:19 So either you're going to get a left-handed four-man or a left-handed five-man so they're not in the same area or you get a shooter that can lift for that person on his own. Right? While you have two, well, while you have Jordan who wants to be an elbow. It has to mesh. The games have to fit, not the pot. the game style.
Starting point is 00:26:42 Right? So like Katie, Curry and Clay, while one is playing ISO, pin down, phase. They can all switch so that was a perfect match.
Starting point is 00:26:53 Right? And that's what happens. They go after names and not the game matching. Sometimes the name should be able to switch their game up to. Yeah, adapt.
Starting point is 00:27:04 They should be able. If you're a great player, you should be to adapt your game. to fit the system like Booker did in the U.S. or with the USA. But that's another player who can, he can play ISO, he can play picking a roll, he can play, like so somebody off the ball, right? Part of the same of Giddy, right? How did Giddy looking, okay, see, how does he look in the O'KC?
Starting point is 00:27:28 Right, two different players. Who did? Because his realm is he needs the ball. So another ball handler who needs the ball too, they're going to clash. But you could also see the potential in. Giddy and O KC of what he could petition to do. Partition to be, yeah. Right?
Starting point is 00:27:43 And so you look at good players like Nixon. I love that point just simply because as an elite player, you should. I think we've talked about this on the pie before. I think you were saying about Boston. When Boston got together, they was able to adapt to who they wanted the middle piece to be. KG adapting to not being the centerpiece, go-to guy and being a defensive anchor. and being able to collectively fit inside the chemistry of what they needed to win.
Starting point is 00:28:14 The same with the heat. When the heat was doing the shit, it was like they didn't consider. But that was a good, but that was... He'd been Boston with Jalen Brown and... But think about how those guys played, right? Tickets on the right side. That's his elbow.
Starting point is 00:28:28 You had Ray Allen, who's baseline, baseline, catch shoot, all fliers. And then you had Paul Pierce ISO, and he isoed from elbow to elbow, download, They didn't clash. There was no clashing on that team.
Starting point is 00:28:42 They accepted roles, right? Like, KG. Role was never just a screener to go get Rondo open, go get Ray Allen open, get out the way and sit here in the dunker. But to accept it, the elite players know how to accept their role. Like, no, no, I'm going to be the best version of this. Code, when he go to the U.S., he's like, I'm going to play defense against all these guys. Fuck all the dumb shit. I know what I can do, but I'm going to show y'all what y'all don't think I can do. So...
Starting point is 00:29:09 And he let mellow cook. Mello was cooking, yeah. So when you defer, based on knowing you can adapt, I think that's the best quality of a real basketball player. Like, sometimes they don't want to do it based on the fact that they don't know how to fucking know it. When you're one-dimensional, you don't know how to space the floor. Space the floor, you might not get it for two, three possessions. Man.
Starting point is 00:29:33 And then you'd be over there like, hey, let me touch that motherfucker at least. He's like, but he's hot. Yeah. Let him be hot for. for a second, you know what I'm saying, but... That's why a lot of great two guards never had real point guards. Because the point guard is supposed to be making you better. The two guards are just giving the ball.
Starting point is 00:29:49 Yeah, for like AI. Huh? Like AI. Just give me the ball, just go get the ball in the corner. All right, let me do that. Just catch and shoot. Yeah, AI never... You wouldn't say AI made the other two guards better based on...
Starting point is 00:30:03 No, no, he was a two guard. Yeah, out of three-man. Or the third... His point guard was just... The point guard was... Yeah. He would have been better. He would have had more success if he had a point guard that actually shot the ball.
Starting point is 00:30:17 Yeah. Right? Like just a catch and shoot guy. If he had a Derek Fisher. Derek Fisher, yeah. Right? That can hit the open shot. Like, you had more assists.
Starting point is 00:30:25 You had a guy who didn't. He didn't, he was just, he needed a shooter that can keep everybody honest. But that's why when people talk about LeBron, LeBron's teams always are designed a certain way. Just like Luca, you can see his team is going to be designed a certain way. He needs certain pieces for you to have to guard him a certain way.
Starting point is 00:30:49 Right, right. And that's to his maximum capability. I got him over here. You can't help off him. You can't help off him. I can go one-on-one. Yeah, I mean... Even though LeBron. You can see LeBron without the ball, different player.
Starting point is 00:31:03 Yeah. Yeah. Ooh, well, who gets the Blancor? Brian could cut back doors. He know how to do that type of shit. He could. You got to have somebody who knows how to... But I'm just saying he does do that. You remember when we played them? I don't know if you remember this.
Starting point is 00:31:14 You remember when we played them. We was playing them up in heat. Their record was 8 and 8. They just got together. They were 8 and 8. And then, oh yeah, we're about a sneak of win before they realized what the miss-up. So they had a meeting and they said,
Starting point is 00:31:33 put Brown was like, put me at the point, not the three. Put Mike Bibby in the corner. That's when they went on the 12. 23 game winning street. Just that adjustment. Because Brian can't catch the ball and then take off. He had to be already in motion so he can just come down heel. Because if he just catches the ball, you can just load up on.
Starting point is 00:31:52 That's easy. And that's when he used to be back there all the way back to three point a lot. And then take off. But just a little adjustments in certain people's games. They just clash. So who gets to blame in Milwaukee? Mr. B, you were on the ground in Milwaukee. Who do you feel like it's the?
Starting point is 00:32:08 blame you said Doc Rivers think doc would be honest no doc slander over here could it be young so you know we are not allowed to slander doc you all are not allowed to slander I am allowed to slander every fucking bad I mean like how do you look at I mean that Janus don't mean do you blame that player loyal like when you get Dame Leonard you don't know how to adapt to a Dame Leonard but Dan Lennard don't know how to adapt to him to the hold on did he get a new name is Dame Leonard right Leonard Lennard? Like Lennar Skinner?
Starting point is 00:32:39 Whatever this fucking ain't. Like sugar, Lennard? Dane time. Linnert. Like lemonade. Like, you don't say no Dane Time. Dane dollar.
Starting point is 00:32:47 Dian dollar. Yeah, the rapper. We gotta use your vows, my nigga. Lillard. Damian Lillard. Look, now you don't know about that. Dave did see Dave shoot a fucking day in time. For two years he was a class for sure.
Starting point is 00:33:02 But the question, how much is Janus to blame for all this? The blame for what? To sign off on these moves to keep the team. He's in that press conference last night talking about the good old days with Middleton and Drew Holiday and how they will do this and that whatever. But there's a reason that they are not on the bucks anymore. Well, first of all, first of all, we're going to stop this. You don't blame a player for the shit y'all doing up there.
Starting point is 00:33:23 They're making the calls up there. They think they're smart. Let them do their job. You don't think they're telling you. Put people in the seat. Your job up there is the right of check and go get players. If you don't know basketball, get the fuck out that seat. You don't think there's a conversation between the two?
Starting point is 00:33:36 I'm done with the blameing the players. Hey, Janice, do you want, uh, damele? Yeah, there's both. You want, hey, are we for the same? Do you want Russell Westbrook or like, who do you want? Who do you want? Hey, miss, though. We're going to get you what you want.
Starting point is 00:33:51 Hey. Are they getting those calls, though? I'm just asking, man, who, who takes the blame? The coach is the stock you want to buy or the gym? Yeah, I got the stock you want to buy. You want to invest your money in this stock? And you say, yeah. And you lose it.
Starting point is 00:34:04 Who fought is it? Let me do some trees. The person who's the person who's the person. Don't ask the player shit. Don't ask the player shit. Don't ask him shit. It's your job. You don't want your front office to ask you.
Starting point is 00:34:16 What do you think about? We were thinking about doing X, Y, Y, we're trying to bring his wine up here. It's never the players fault because he don't have the, yeah, I mean. Oh, you're trying to cook dinner. That's never the player's fault. You're the chef. You're trying to cook dinner night.
Starting point is 00:34:27 I only post you. You're going to ask you to play. So if you listen to me. You don't ask you. It is, though. What they want from the stove. If you, if you're not, your job is to play. You, your job is to play.
Starting point is 00:34:36 You, your job is to play. And they're asking you, you're like, yeah, I mean, yeah, if he's going to help. No, I was there when KG asked for Mike James from Toronto. Mike James was killing 20 a game in Toronto. Okay. Like, I need him. We didn't got Mike James. Ticket was off that nigga in the first half, my nigga.
Starting point is 00:34:54 Off him. He really was like, yo, that's what I want to play with because he was killing. He was killing us that year before. He was like, I need him. He get him. Niggie, he was off that nigga so fast, bro. this nigga off, get out of here. And it was like, you act for him.
Starting point is 00:35:12 And it didn't work. Why y'all listened? That's why y'all are the front of it. And that's the same with Greek. Greek can't ask for motherfuckers. And it would give him to you. And it's like, hey, man, that shit ain't working, man. Send that nigger pack.
Starting point is 00:35:22 Right. I remember Mike James came. Your job is your job. Mike James came to the Wizards. It was like, get your ass out of here. I ain't ask for. Get your ass out of it. It's very different.
Starting point is 00:35:34 I ain't asked for this. I didn't ask for this. Mike James is funny. Mike James is funny. That's fine. He's funny. I like my chicken. But your point, Bill, Buck's front office.
Starting point is 00:35:43 You fire a human hoiser, bring it Adrian Griffin. Fire Andrew Griffin, bring it, Doc Rivers. Hey, you got, you're on your third, you're paying your third, your third coach. Yeah, your third coach, yeah. That's you. That's you all. You can't fire a. Y'all won a championship, right?
Starting point is 00:35:57 It's don't make sense to do that. You won a championship? No, you got to ask your player, though, your main player, hey, what do you think about this coach? Nah. They don't really do that. I never really do that. I'm the player. What do I know?
Starting point is 00:36:07 So do you think Janice did not know that they're going to fire a boot? Who cares? 100%. We won a chip. We got Drew Holliday. We got Chris Middleton. Now you're talking about them going back down memory lane. Oh,
Starting point is 00:36:18 whenever we're here. It affects the player when the coach comes in, right? Yeah, but. Right? What is your job title? Let's start there first. Your job titles. That's why I was talking I think different.
Starting point is 00:36:30 You can ask me, it don't matter what I say, you're going to do what you're going to do. It's your job to do that. I'm a play. Not my job. We're good. Right? During the draft time, y'all scouted all year. It don't matter what I watched,
Starting point is 00:36:42 above a good coming here and do a little highlight. You have scouts that told you who the best player is, the best player is, and the best player for their system, if that's what they're really doing. So you can ask me all you want. How you like this? Okay, I like it, but he's good. I'm going to say yes.
Starting point is 00:36:58 Let me give you an example. Let me give you an example. Golden State Warriors. Hit up Draymond. Who you like for this? the draft. Take Moody. He said take Moody, said take
Starting point is 00:37:10 Kaminga, who they took. Both of them players. Now, fast forward, here we are. They ain't really playing Kaminga. We should have never listened to this nigger, Drayvon. And then who should be...
Starting point is 00:37:23 We should have never listened to this thing, man. Your ass should be fired. You should be fired. Right. We're listening to Raymo. What is your job? That's the gym. That's not the players.
Starting point is 00:37:33 But look, that's the game. where we're taking the onus of pleasing the player who's the Hall of Fame guy, this is who he's saying. He didn't watch about one college game to see if they was good or not. And that's why the Bulls got six because the GM did not listen to Michael Jordan.
Starting point is 00:37:49 The GM said, you go play, let me do my job. What the crowd said? Hey, who are you on this guy? Or go opposite. I know how you look. Your vision is different. If he were to listen to Mike,
Starting point is 00:38:01 they would have never. And the first time, Mike, make his picks. We've seen it. You watch him in Charlotte. Everybody was like this. Cravenson. The Lakers listed in the code when they wanted Paul. Who?
Starting point is 00:38:15 Paul Gassau. And waiting got him. That's who called me. They could have went after anybody at that point. You're the secret team they had. But that's the type of player he needed. He needed a badger big. He needed a guy who could be motoc.
Starting point is 00:38:30 Yeah, but they got the bar. They got buying them too. But what is that's the big player. He knew what the type of player he won. He knew what type. I don't think Janus know what type of player he wants to play with. I don't think, I think Drew and Middleton was something that was built. It wasn't something you can go pick out.
Starting point is 00:38:47 It wasn't like, oh, I need the type of this type of man. Nah, that's something. Drew was the type of guy that was waiting for a team that he could fit with. Middleton could fit anywhere because he could catch a shoe guy. So that just happened to match. Andrew, Drew could fit. Drew could fit. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:02 So now it's like. If you, Yonis, and you pick Dame and you're like, yo, we can win together. Then it comes in and it don't happen because you ain't never played with this type of player before. This is an experiment. And now you're like, damn, this shit really ain't going to work. Okay, Janus, you need to be a basketball guru and tell us what the fuck you really need. Because otherwise, we are going to be guessing like you're guessing.
Starting point is 00:39:26 But why are you guessing with the player? Because he's guessing. But why are you guessing? But why are you, obviously, them motherfuckers don't know. Obviously, them motherfuckers don't know. what the fuck they're doing. Are you asking me? Because I don't know what I'm doing.
Starting point is 00:39:37 I don't know what I'm doing. We don't know what we're doing. We don't know what we do. I know what I'm doing. I'm doing my job, you are doing yours. You're telling me who to pick, though. Y'all know what to pick.
Starting point is 00:39:52 You're telling me who to pick. No. You tell me who to pick. Don't let me pick my team. Don't let it. I'm looking for quarterbacks. If you know what I mean. Take the ball.
Starting point is 00:40:04 out of my house fast. See? I'm fast. You see my two K team. Everybody got 99 pass. That's a damn same, darn. We asked the chat. You can't.
Starting point is 00:40:21 We asked you. I picked Brandon up on my Lute team and come. Yeah, because he's shot the ball 40 times. Be friends, but you ain't going to know the next. We didn't that friendly. That's great. And I ain't going to know it.
Starting point is 00:40:32 And what do I ain't got a call? I ain't got a call since. Too much, man. You're going to be passing. I'm not running down on deep. All right. I ordered a point going. I ordered a shooting guard.
Starting point is 00:40:45 They see me with the jersey. They ain't going at me and I can't go back. All right. There's only a suit it every time you get it. There's only a few owners. There's a few owners and a few GMs that actually know what they're doing because they're picking a team. They know who they star is.
Starting point is 00:41:04 Right? And then once they identify these, this is my number one, this is my number two, then they're building around them versus just grabbing pieces. San Antonio, back in the day, they got their two stars who they say, okay, this is all I need. Now I'm building to fit around them. That's why none of the players they pick clash with the stars. They never, they never clashed any of them. All their championship teams, they never actually clash because they're picking the perfect pieces for their two stars.
Starting point is 00:41:42 Same thing in OKC, picking the best two players, picking the team for the two best. When Miami, right, they put their team together once they lost, and they're all right, we need to bring this person, move this person, bring this person, move that person. Then you got two championships, right? And that's what's what the smart ones are doing. They're just not picking it Cynthia with Golden State for the most part Right They haven't draft well
Starting point is 00:42:09 But for the most part I had Steph, Clay, Dremont and then the pieces that I needed These are the type of players I needed Okay, so with that with that metric Who was Janice's second player? He don't have a second player He's never it was okay
Starting point is 00:42:24 Since then they did build around him I'm not saying it was Middleton That's why no It was the problem But who is building around? What is Middleton? What is Middleton's game? He's Michael Red.
Starting point is 00:42:37 He's ISO. He's an ISO player. And he can spot up. He can run a pick and roll. Right? He can come off to, he can do a little bit of everything. You didn't replace that guy. No, he did.
Starting point is 00:42:50 That's the problem. They thought Kuzman. They thought Kuzman would be. Because he was averaging 20. No. No. Chris Middleton. Chris Melton can, like,
Starting point is 00:42:58 doesn't say, it's an effective. But Kuzman. He's not a one-on-one playing out of a long-on-one player. He's a wild. It was a-old. It's like a low-level Paul George type. Yes.
Starting point is 00:43:07 It's a little, like a young part. It was a little. That's what they need to replace first. But what happened? He got hurt. He got hurt. But that's what I'm saying. If that's the great combo you need,
Starting point is 00:43:17 that's who you should have been trading for. Somebody to replace exactly what he does. So Kuzma wasn't nothing like that, you don't think? Like Middleton? No, Chris Middleton? He wasn't consistent enough. Kuzma is a bigger version of it. Man, what happened to Kuzman going, like, once he got to Milwaukee?
Starting point is 00:43:34 Like, how did his mind just, like, shut down? Washington, when he went to Washington. Yeah. He was averaging 20. He was playing behind. He was deferring to Jordan Poole, too. They was, like, battling. It's the Jordan Clark, but it's the Jordan Clarkson act, that six-man type of group where you come in,
Starting point is 00:43:51 your style is to shoot it. Now, if I make you. But he's not doing that. But not if I make you the number one option, you don't know how to, because now. Now you think, oh shit, I got to get this person, I got this. And you're wired to do a certain thing. Now he comes here, he's a starter. You're supposed to be the second option.
Starting point is 00:44:07 Now he's thinking too much. I mean, and you go from D.C. to Milwaukee. Like, you're just moving around now. Like, mentally, he's just probably like. Oh, no, but you're supposed to be a champion. You're supposed to be a champion. Who? You adapt as Kuzma's supposed to.
Starting point is 00:44:23 Yeah. To his responsibility. I'm telling you all that championship. I know. You can't throw that on everybody. I'm not just saying as far as Nick concerned. If you could adapt to LeBron in LA and get your bucket. And then you go to Milwaukee and can't adapt.
Starting point is 00:44:37 That's, I think that's a ocean. It's no. But if you're coming off the bench and it's shoot the ball, do you, right? Do you, Jordan Poul-style? You have a role. Now your role is changed because now your role is part of the starting five. And he's like, uh. I don't know what to do.
Starting point is 00:44:55 I don't. So I just can't just, I just can't shoot all the shots I like. You're like, nah. No. Because he's regular playing. He's really with the Wizards. Talk to him, man. But obviously he's not adapting.
Starting point is 00:45:05 I will go get the Hunter kid. From Cleveland? Yep. Because they have too many of those sound pieces over there. You already have guys who can play 101 who can do pick and roll. They don't need another one of those coming off the bench. But that can be the number two option for. But ain't that what Captain Porter Jr. do?
Starting point is 00:45:25 No, he's more of a pick and roll. He's more. It's like the Clarkson that comes. He's like a six. He's like a six man. He's a starter too. Yeah. So you got a bunch of you got a bunch of six men.
Starting point is 00:45:34 He need to rearrange his little symphony because he, this shit sound trash right now. And it ain't coming out at all. The acoustics is all fucked up. Yannis is supposed to be the star singer and Kuzman in the front. Nigger dancing. You can't be in the front dancing with Yon is on the side. Nobody comes to. Nobody comes in.
Starting point is 00:45:54 Yeah, like, Porter comes in and you're supposed to come in. You're playing 25 minutes. Get your 12, 15 quick shots. For sure. So we asked the chat, will Yannis finish the season with the bucks? Hell no. This season? This season.
Starting point is 00:46:09 49% said yes, 51% said no. No. Let's shift over to the other side of that game. We got to give some love to reigning MVP. Man, MVP. Jay Gilded is Alexander for his performance last night. 40 points, 11 dime, seven boards. Got 84% from the field.
Starting point is 00:46:24 Since the Thunder were blown out at home by the Hornets on January 5th, SGA averaging 34.6 assists four rebounds while shooting 59% from the field. Not yet, not yet, let's take a look. So we got his MVP season versus this season. So far this season, SGA averaging 32, six assists, 4.4 rebounds, 33 minutes per game. 5640, 89 splits. MVP season average 33, six assists, five rebounds on 52, 38, 90 splits. Is it actually elevated his game enough this season to be deserving of a second straight MVP?
Starting point is 00:47:07 Yeah. Okay. I never know what y'all. Yeah. The other boy sitting down, he hurt. Is he bringing the boom? Yeah, he's been booming. He's been booming.
Starting point is 00:47:19 He's been booming. Y'all was happy when they was losing, boy. Yeah. And they was losing. I mean, he moved down. He just boomed him. He just boomed them. They lost to the HECs and they lost to the Horns and they lost to the HEC.
Starting point is 00:47:33 and I said. Yeah, he made that person. I mean, when it comes to, like, his numbers. Very motivated, Mr. B. Maybe Janice needs to boom now. His numbers are, you know, they're the same as last year. More efficient. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:47:47 They're more efficient. I mean, obviously, they're more efficient. I mean, she's 55% of the field is absurd to me, but. Right now he's by himself in his category since Yolkage is out. So, you know, are they good enough to win a back-to-back? Yes. Yes. Right?
Starting point is 00:48:02 If Yolker's just playing and that triple double he was averaging, then no, you would have to turn it up just a little bit. But right now, as he stands, yes, he is the runaway MVP. I don't even know who would be second to him right now. Oh, boy. Shannon Brown? I don't know. Vennon Brown? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:48:23 Cade? That'd be. Kate? Kaye, Anthony Edwards. But, I mean, but, I mean, since we, like he said, since we've been playing well. Yeah. Yeah, but since we said he got boom, don't he be... I mean, there's a lot of people playing well, but champion.
Starting point is 00:48:40 What are the optics? The optics are not telling us that his performances are like, it's look at the box score. Oh, She has 30 again. 40. She has 40 tonight. Like, all right, who the fuck else is going to have 30 on that team? Shit, shit.
Starting point is 00:48:56 I'm saying if he has a 19 point night, which he did the other night. No, 20. He still, he's a streak, 24th streak. He still had 20? I think I looked at it. Yeah, but I think the Rockets, but it came. So my point is, when he's not playing well, who's going to have that 30-point, 35-point game for them?
Starting point is 00:49:14 Consistently. But he's not. It ain't J-dub. It ain't Chet. It ain't A.J. Mitchell. So he has to do this every single night for that team to win. So the other players, Cade, Ant. You're looking at even Jalen Johnson,
Starting point is 00:49:31 the way he has to play. You're looking at certain players, Tyrese, Maxie. And B going to come out, he can have 25 any night, but Maxie's still going to give you 32, 33. He's still going to show up. So the performance and the optics of the other players look different than SGA's. He's found a formula to be consistent,
Starting point is 00:49:52 but to run away with the MVP again based on their team format, like we talk about team, like there are guys that are outperforming him. Yeah, but when you look at him, Jaylon William hurt again. Jaylewood hurt the start to season. Missing a lot of starters. Kay need to score damn than 30 a night for his team to win. Jayland Brown, too.
Starting point is 00:50:11 Yeah. They got to do what Shea doing for them to win. Jaylon Brown don't have another player, just like Shea. Kay don't. He do got another. Wait, wait. No, he don't. No, he don't.
Starting point is 00:50:24 Hey, hey, he don't have another 30-point, 25-point player that's doing what he does. And they're leading. East. Number one. So these three players are all the same that don't have other guys. And Edwards really don't have another 30 point. I don't think Julius Randall going to come out and give you 30.
Starting point is 00:50:43 But he's an awful. He's an awful player. He was. He was. He can't go get 30, though. He's going to shoot. He's going to shoot another get 30. He can shoot enough.
Starting point is 00:50:52 He might get hot every now and again. But he's all guys that don't have complimentary second tier guys. I think Maxi, the only guy that's got a nigger that can. and go in there and give you 2830 next to me, and me still ball out like I'm an MVP. So shouldn't that put SGA at the top? No, because there are three other guys. No.
Starting point is 00:51:14 Cade is there right there. Yeah, but the fact that he's doing it with the youngest team in the NBA, and I'm doing it again, and my numbers are even better. But it's just scoring. It's scoring. Cade is going out there getting rebounds. He's getting assists. He's carrying his team on both sides of the basket.
Starting point is 00:51:31 Jalen Brown the same way. He's doing the same thing. So you look at SGA, if he don't have a scoring output that it is, they're not winning. I mean, I can't. I mean, I don't know. There's nothing. I don't know. I mean, it's hard to say because, I mean, he was getting bored.
Starting point is 00:51:50 I can't. You're consistent. There's a game playing. They're trying to stop you. But they can't. They can't. It's tough. Look, there are other players with consistent.
Starting point is 00:52:01 numbers just like that. It's just that their team is not number one. They didn't have a 21. That makes it better. That's better. But what happened when you got boomed? We watched. No, we did.
Starting point is 00:52:13 No, no. When I got boomed, I was still average in 30. But when you got boomed, we got to see the difference. We see that's the part of the season. It did look the same. We seen the difference. You've seen the team lose. No.
Starting point is 00:52:26 Yeah. We've seen the effect of what happens. we can neutralize your performance in this win. But they didn't neutralize his performance in this way. No, they shut down check. And they shut down jelly. Your performance looked different. You still gave us consistent numbers,
Starting point is 00:52:46 but your performance did not look MVP. I'm going to get my 30. I'm going to get my 30. But this shit didn't look like winning basketball. It wasn't winning basketball. 82 games. It was riled. It was rattled.
Starting point is 00:53:01 Out of 82 games, I'm going to play them all perfect. No, no, no, no. I'm not saying that, like I'm saying. You shut him down. That rattled me. I'm not saying that. I'm saying the six for six that y'all went in through those 12 games, the six out of six.
Starting point is 00:53:16 Six wins, six losses. We was able to really expose and break down why y'all lost those six games. And it was the defense that we played on SGA and the rest of the players. No, no, no, no, stop that. Yes. You didn't play no defense on me because. I still average 30-something. You played better deal.
Starting point is 00:53:34 So your defense's the plan was like, you know what? Let's just stop number two and three. What was this? How many in that? Just stop the number two and three. What was that? 30. What was that when they was losing against the Spurs and him?
Starting point is 00:53:47 30. What was his number? 30. Yeah, that run. 25. It probably was 30, but it didn't look. It was a trial. It wasn't getting the free throws.
Starting point is 00:53:56 It wasn't getting the free throws. He wasn't getting all that shit. I have a couple of bad games. I don't deserve to be in fact. I'm not even saying it in a bad game. The game is bad average in $27. We're not saying. That's bad.
Starting point is 00:54:06 That makes sense. We're not saying it's a bad game, bro. I'm saying we expose how we can beat y'all. Based on you. I agree with that. I'm just saying it. Boom, boy. Wait, wait.
Starting point is 00:54:19 And niggas, you show up with the boom. Nigga, boom, shaka. We see it. Do y'all see it? Is it obvious? We see it. Boom. But not everybody can expose it the way the sput the first did.
Starting point is 00:54:31 In four games this season against the Spurs, SJ's averaging 30.6 assists, five rebounds. What's he shooting from the field? He's shooting 51%. From the three. You expose me. You were exposed to me. So why y'all lose?
Starting point is 00:54:47 19% from three. Why y'all lose? If we didn't expose you, why did you lose? There's 19% from three? No, no, no. That shot was off. My three was off. How much?
Starting point is 00:54:57 Three was off. Four games, huh? My three was off. That damn, they're trying. How did we lose? Go get Chet's numbers against Wimby. My number two and number three options. I don't look like that.
Starting point is 00:55:08 No. But the number two and number three options throughout the whole season has to. And my number two. Yeah, but they didn't have consistent numbers against them. But they're consistent through out. That's why we're winning when they don't have consistent numbers. Oh, it's when you're shooting over 40% from three. My number two says, you're shooting 19% from three.
Starting point is 00:55:24 You're shooting 19% from three. We're taking away our strategy for GsGA. And I'm 51%. And I'm 51%. from the field. What is the... So, Chad Holmgren first to Spurgeon season, 11.8 rebound.
Starting point is 00:55:36 Damn. How many? That's average, right? No, that's not, it's average. Man. The fuck is it, average? 15? What is it?
Starting point is 00:55:45 15. 18 and 8. 18 and 8? Yeah, average to me, it seems like that's supposed to be your real numbers. 11 and 8. How much y'all lose? How much if we lose, Buck? Some down.
Starting point is 00:55:55 When me, shut them down. So now our pressure is, oh, Chad. If you ain't stopping me. Not the 19% The 19% or 51% But 51% from the... Treated like the streets. Treated like the streets.
Starting point is 00:56:11 How many freethos was he shooting? Treated like the streets. I can't find my op, right? I can't find my op, so I would just find his friend. His friend don't know I'm coming. I'm going to find him. I'm going to shut him down. I'm going to get a body.
Starting point is 00:56:23 Aren't your numbers supposed to go up in those senses when you're struggling against those type of time? I'm not struggling, brother. He's struggling. Definitely struggling. shoot 19% how much they did that average?
Starting point is 00:56:34 He just got back though yeah he's his numbers yes his number should go up his number should go up his number should go up
Starting point is 00:56:40 oh my god it should yes but it's not because they're stuck on being because you're consistent 30 because when you're at 30
Starting point is 00:56:49 every single game at 30 at 30 at 31 like bro you get this 40 this is the second time that he's done 40 and 10 where he's actually
Starting point is 00:56:58 passed the ball more than what six times five times to his teammates. So if you're not giving me more than eight assists a game to your other guys, you're consistently going to do what you're supposed to do. Score the ball as a point guard. You're supposed to score 30 to a game as a point guard.
Starting point is 00:57:14 When you're fighting, they teach you not to reach. Don't like reach in. So you get, what, 12 free throws a game, 10 free throws a game? That's a lot. So we cut that shit down and we cut your three-pointers down. Guess what you still do? You still get 30, but guess what else you get? A fucking L.
Starting point is 00:57:30 You get an L. You get an L. So basically when you shoot better from three or the other teams allow you to get your, like last night, they, he's hitting that bits, hitting that bit. 40. I got a 40 ball. They don't get it. Imagine going into the summer and said, I shut, I shut SG the A down.
Starting point is 00:57:49 How about you have? 30. 36. 5. He shot 19. Don't know. How much you're shooting in the field? How much you're in the field?
Starting point is 00:57:57 51. Would it, would it Luca average in that finals against the Boston? Celtics? 30? 28? 28? And his percentages would tell you that Jaylen Brown can go into the summer. Like, I shut Luca down, but he still averaged 29 on your ass.
Starting point is 00:58:12 But it was like, it was the reason we won. He was supposed to average 35. He was supposed to just giving them numbers. No, if he's averaged in 28 and if he has a better shooter percentage, he would average 35. He would have hit more shots, but he didn't because of my defense held him to 28. He's a 35, he's supposed to be average in 35. Same with Shay. If Shay, we play against us, he should be averaging 34.
Starting point is 00:58:37 He averaged in 32, but he only averaged 30. There's a discrepancy there. It's still consistently because he's giving him 30. But for me, you lost those games based on us being able to figure you out. We did something different. Yeah, I shot James down one time. I'm the field. 51.
Starting point is 00:58:56 I shot James down one time. He had 40, but I was like, shit. Nick, he won. You won? Are you a winner or not? Are you a winner or not? Nick, you, you want you sit over drinking the championship wine, niggins.
Starting point is 00:59:10 Are you going to talk about winning or not? I'm saying, yeah. Man, listen, sometimes you know what's your fucking mind to be on the championship team where you want to have 40. And listen, sometimes your best defense is to let them keep shooting. That is a defense. I know.
Starting point is 00:59:22 Let him get here. The rest of this shit off. You always say that. That's the thing. Let him get his. You know, listen, you know, we know he's going to get his 30. 19. Stop saying 51. Stop saying 51, nigga.
Starting point is 00:59:34 Say 19. 51%. Say 19. What's this true percentage? What was that? No, y'all didn't care about true shooting percentage. Remember, y'all don't want all these events. You want to say the percentage that makes good.
Starting point is 00:59:47 Man, I'm sorry. 19% is why it's at only 51? No, 19% is why we won the game. You know, you know, 19% is part of the 51, So if I didn't shoot that bad, I would have probably shot 70. Y'all would have probably won the game. Y'all would have probably won the game. If you would have shot 30% from three, you probably would have won.
Starting point is 01:00:09 19 is why you lost. I get it. We got to still hate them because Drake and shit, I get it. But- We don't have to do anything. We are a couch of peace and tranquility. No, no, keep it up. Let's keep this thing moving.
Starting point is 01:00:22 Let's shift over. You just made that shit like, man. I'm like, how you happy you let a nigga score 30? Let's shift over to the Eastern I feel good after that Like I don't care Who's who's Who's a anniversary it is?
Starting point is 01:00:36 Kobe's 81. I don't give a fuck If Toronto won There was no way in hell Jalen Rose Was gonna sleep good at night That night There was no way
Starting point is 01:00:48 You're like And Kobe scored 81 But we won Alright Okay Okay The team wins, go and the team lose.
Starting point is 01:01:02 No, no, that's all you're in head for life. 81 that is second all time ever. There's no win or loss there. It's a loss for Colb if he loses the game. He don't really give a fuck about that 81. Do we think that's... I know that. Do we think somewhere deep now, I think it's 81?
Starting point is 01:01:17 It's important that I win the game, though. It's important that I have 81 and a W. No, 81 and W is great. After that, it's 81, and then after that is the... Regardless, J-L. is going to want to be a part of the pitcher in the statue regardless. If it's 81 win or 81 loss, that's the
Starting point is 01:01:34 culture of, yeah, he scored 81, but shit, the thing like, Cole, like, fuck that 81 if we lost, I don't ever fuck about that shit. We let the Toronto Raptors beat us. I feel like deep down if you got to drop 81 in the way. I've never done it. When I scored 60,
Starting point is 01:01:50 he wasn't even about to win. Did you win? Did you win? No, we won. Did you win? No, we won. Did you win? We won. That's what it means. You got 60 and we win it and we beat the ass. You hit the end? And it's extra.
Starting point is 01:02:03 But it's the bonus makes it more sweeter. It's like, where's before a nigga like cold? Like, hey, he put 60 on your head. And you lost, nigger. And he bowed. And he bowed out. And he bowed out. Yeah, and your house, too.
Starting point is 01:02:17 Why do you think he had the press conference he had? He was fucking pissed. It's like whipped cream. I'm going to enjoy this cake without it. Trust me. Okay? I went in the locker room. I scored six.
Starting point is 01:02:27 against Kobe. Coach said, and we won. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I just scored a 60 against Kobe. That was actually everything I said. But later, yeah, yeah, you know what it was. Later in the conversation, years later,
Starting point is 01:02:41 it matters to have the win. No one ever, you know what? It matters. Everyone talks about my 60 point. They never asked that we win. They've never. Not one person. But it matters.
Starting point is 01:02:52 Never. It matters. Because you can say, yeah, and we won. Yeah. We won two. When I was going 54, see, that was the problem with our team. 60, we won. 54, we won.
Starting point is 01:03:07 51, we won. 48, we won. 49, we won. And I always try to tell them, just give me the ball. What are y'all here for? We can win. We can be 82 and old if I scored more than 48. Sorry, what's name for brother, real?
Starting point is 01:03:25 Ball was, bomb, bomb, bomb, championship. Yep, long as y'all, give me the rock. Give me the rock. Oh, man, that's the only thing I miss about the NBA, man. I'm telling people who make $15, $20 million. Bitch, just give you the ball, man. Oh, man, that was... If you never told a millionaire that, to give you the ball,
Starting point is 01:03:46 give it a truck. Antoine, watch out. He made a $20 million. Come on, man, watch out. Didn't Kobe. He told him, read this book. When he got there to a Lakers? Hey.
Starting point is 01:03:59 Yeah. But he gave Kobe, didn't he give Kobe 50? Who? Juan? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Now, y'all don't know. This is, come on, you've done it before, right? Somebody posting up.
Starting point is 01:04:08 You'd be like, watch out. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, my God. Dude, man, go through. Add to go, dude. Oh, God. Don't nobody want to see that. Don't nobody want to see this.
Starting point is 01:04:18 Don't nobody want to see moves. Man, they make more money to them, and then they move. Watch out, bro. Watch out, bro. I got this. I got this. That wave off the cold. I got to talk after this.
Starting point is 01:04:30 We got to talk after this. No, you don't do that on TV, my, nigga. You don't do that on TV, no. Not to me. That's when they're like, woo, like that one. Like the aggressive one? Oh my God. When you walk the other side of the land, you walk, you're like, man,
Starting point is 01:04:45 fuck this. Right. Let's keep this thing moving. Shift over to the Eastern Conference. You do that? Hey, all right. Got 10 more seconds. 10 more seconds.
Starting point is 01:04:56 Nick, move. So, Nick's been going through it lately with things taking a turn for the worst their NBA Cup championship and a 23 and 9 start to the season. Nick's got smacked by the Mavs in their MLK Day game at the garden. That was not MLK's dream,
Starting point is 01:05:10 getting booed by the home crowd as well. So during a TV timeout midway through the second quarter, Nick's captain Jalen Brunson gathered the players together to try to help get their minds right. They're going to figure it out. spoke for several moments, pretty much that entire timeout.
Starting point is 01:05:28 As you can see, no coaches in the picture. They were doing their own thing. As Brunton tried to rally his troops, did not end up working out or helping out at all. In fact, it only got worse from there. It got so bad that owner James Dolan left his seat at halftime with the Knicks down 28. And their largest halftime deficit of the season,
Starting point is 01:05:54 Dolan did not return to Tennessee. Knicks went on to lose their four straight game. It was their second four game losing streak since December 31st. They are two and nine in their last 11 games. So after the loss, Jalen Brunson called a players-only meeting, and according to ESPN's
Starting point is 01:06:10 Ramona Shelburne, runs his message to his teammates was that the Knicks needed to find answers for their poor play in January among themselves rather than look to the coaching staff for solutions. Seems a little interesting, but okay. So entering their game against the Nets Wednesday the Nix had a bottom five offense in the league in January.
Starting point is 01:06:27 Defense was also the third worst in the league this month. But Nicks responded with their biggest win in franchise history. That was great. Smacking the Nets by 54 points and 120 to 66 win. It was the fewest points allowed in the game in nearly a decade. Knicks improved a 3-0 against the Nets this season with a plus 103 point differential. So, Gil will start with your reaction to the NICS delivering their biggest blowout in franchise history after their players-only meeting.
Starting point is 01:06:54 He played the Nets, dog. A NBA team that was on the schedule. The Nile. Rivalry Week. They've been struggling all year, you said. No, since whenever. And they've beaten. Technically all year.
Starting point is 01:07:15 It's the thumb. Technically all your swag. Just the thumb. And they've been, since the thumb, and they've beaten the Nets. Still 30s. The Nets. They've beaten the Nets. The East is weak, right?
Starting point is 01:07:31 So if you last place, if you had to, the bottom of the east. That is real bad, right? That's almost G-League bad, right? And we're about to brag, and they're about to celebrate because they beat the Nets. I don't think there was a celebration, but just a statement win going out there.
Starting point is 01:07:47 That ain't no statement. 54 points? 28 points total in the second half. I mean, the Nets lost the last eight out of nine, so. Eight out of nine. Ten points in the fourth quarter? I don't even know if anybody scored double-digit. You just got Michael Porter, Jr.
Starting point is 01:08:01 here. It's the best play on the team. And who can't. And it's not like he can grab the ball and bring the ball up and do his thing. He had 12. He had 12. Everybody else got 6-7-8, 6-5-4, 6-7-5-4. Usually that's what their numbers are. We could have went out there.
Starting point is 01:08:18 Can I? It's a spade. It's a spades him. No way. They got a spades ham on that team. You got to go. No, no. I'm not saying they want to bust our ass, but what they did last night.
Starting point is 01:08:29 We could go out there go get 80s. We're just beat Brooklyn. I'm getting 15. See the problem? Now, ask that question again, we over here think we can beat Goulda. So the fact that they played that we think we can beat them, we not beat them.
Starting point is 01:08:41 We not giving them. I think we could go out there. No, I'm saying. Well, we can go out there and do what they did last night. Like what they did last night, we can go do that. We got a can. We got a can't. Could you guys lose by 53 or less to the Nix?
Starting point is 01:08:55 Hell, no. The Gills are going to lose. Oh, to the NIC? No, I'm getting kicked out before that. NICS is different. You got six files, bro. I'm asking none of those. You got six files.
Starting point is 01:09:04 For show, got six. Nobody. I'm using all six of mine. I'm not using mine. You're not going to use your files? No, I got to try to get as many points as I possible. Y'all's not going to admit that the Nix ain't been right since ever since I stopped cheering for him. Man.
Starting point is 01:09:19 So why did you stop cheering for the New York Nix, refresh the chat's memory? Yeah, I can. I mean, them thumbs up, thumbs down. Yeah, I can go, I can play seven minutes and go O for O for. I can do that. You think you can place that minute? No, no, I can go one for 11, one for six. I can do it over two.
Starting point is 01:09:36 19 minutes, 19 minutes, I can go 0 for 3. The next thing about what is that? 19 minutes. 19 minutes, I can go over 3. In this error? I can even do that better. I can go over 15. 19 minutes, I can go 0 for 15.
Starting point is 01:09:46 I'm not going over 15. I'm not going over. You see that on the time. No, what I'm saying is, I'm getting 15, 19 minutes, I'm getting 15 shots. You're crazy as shit. That's one thing you was never going to. You're not going to stop me from shooting the ball.
Starting point is 01:09:59 Yeah, sure. You can stop me from making it and you're never going to stop me from shooting it. Now? Now? Chuck it. You ever playing as a little kid? He can't dribble no more? Can't even run up the court.
Starting point is 01:10:11 Just throw it. I'm going to get it up. I might not make it. That's why I said open 15. I'm going to get a shot. All half courts. All half court shots. I'm going to get the shot up.
Starting point is 01:10:22 There's only one option if I get the ball. Shoot. I'm not passionate. Yeah, you're supposed to be getting niggins involved anyway. I'm going to get him an open shots. I get to tell him what to do. Get in the corner. You know what?
Starting point is 01:10:33 You want to see what I can do? Put me on the team when we play. Tonight? I mean, no we don't. Wow, that's crazy. They do play tonight. Damn. I guarantee I got 20.
Starting point is 01:10:43 Duh. 20. No, we don't. You said, no, we don't. He said, no, we don't. He said, no, we don't. Looked over there. Oh, my bad.
Starting point is 01:10:50 No, we don't. My bad, I wasn't supposed to tell BJ. You know, that's all right. That's all right. I got the address anyway. I'm going to show. I'm going to sit there and wait. No, we don't.
Starting point is 01:11:00 I know he's coming through this door. I'm gonna sit there and wait. I know what time y'all started. That's fine, too, yeah? He shoot 40 times, d'nig. We don't want that kind of energy. Shoot that, bitch. We wasn't losing because of me.
Starting point is 01:11:11 We had no big, and we only had five players. Oh, my boy, no. He's dribbling up. No. Nah. Not me. I need a sub. He did like five of those in a row.
Starting point is 01:11:20 He did like four of those in a row. I said, all right. Just dribble up. I'm like, man, when nobody got off the court yet. That shit going in there. That shit, though. And 40. Two out of four?
Starting point is 01:11:32 Two out of four? Two out of four? That's a very, 50% of, right? Thank you. He had 40, he had 40 and you lost. 0 for 20. Who are you? I'm going to 0 for 20 tonight.
Starting point is 01:11:42 We're not winning. I'm not trying to win. Winning is important part of it. I'm trying to get my 20 shots up because he said I can't do it. I believe you can get 20 shots. I'm going to get 20 shots. He can't run like at least. I don't need a lot.
Starting point is 01:11:55 He's just going to walk. He's just going to just stay down on the offense. What are you going to do? You're going to kick me all the team? He ain't going to pass the team. We're not going to pass it at all. They go subbing y'all. He's going to walk off the floor.
Starting point is 01:12:05 What I'm saying? It ain't no coach. Right. Mike can't play no more. He got, you know, Mike down, so he got four and a half. Let me do this. Mike, that. Hey, Nick, we're going to.
Starting point is 01:12:14 Mike had his home. Nick, we're going to have to form that coalition. Don't not pass. Yep. We're not passing. We're not. We got no stuff. Mike down.
Starting point is 01:12:23 Just like 2K. Mike got shot the legs. X, X. X. X. In the corner. X in the corner. Throw it over here.
Starting point is 01:12:34 I'm supposed to pass to Mike. I don't care y'all. But, no, I'm already. Nix, we don't care. No, we do. They beat the team, man. No, you know, not no basketball team, man. Josh Hart's fault.
Starting point is 01:12:46 All the way. It's all of them, man. They got to hear that everywhere they go. Everywhere to go, man. You know how that mess with your mental. He need to just put it. He just wrap his thumb up. I mean, you didn't really want a thumb out.
Starting point is 01:12:58 She may be winning the cup is a curse. No, Josh fucked it all up, man That nigga did that shit It had nothing to do with no cup None of that For the thomas, nigga ass This can fuck up the whole equilibrium Right?
Starting point is 01:13:10 Now you gotta just be gay You gotta go That's some thing though You gotta snap that shit Blake memory We forgot about All right, let's shift to the other side then You guys don't want to talk about
Starting point is 01:13:22 The Knicks game The 54-point blow I went over the next Brooklyn has grown accustomed to losing but getting 50 piece takes it to another level. Nets, like I said, managed to score just 28 points in the second half, 10 points in the fourth quarter. What's the mood like in the locker room after getting blown out as bad as the that?
Starting point is 01:13:42 They went to the club. Man. Right after that. Yeah, get that off your mind. Quick turnaround. The mood? The mood. Coach probably just walk in. Bring it in.
Starting point is 01:13:53 Bring it in. All right, get ready for the back one. Ain't nothing to talk about. One, three minutes. Yeah, one, two, three. That's all right y'all. See y'all tomorrow. See y'all and drink, yeah. You don't sit on my scene on the play, man.
Starting point is 01:14:04 In New York, in New York, back in the day, back in the day when we played, when we play back in the day, it would be practice. You have to come in. In this area, I don't know what they do. Bro. You know what I'm saying? Like back in the day, like we would have to come.
Starting point is 01:14:19 Like we would have to have a lot of things. But now I don't even, if they're not practicing, it ain't probably, you know me. The Knicks beat them early in the season by 4. 46 points. Oh, okay. Well, no, 36. Thank you, yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:37 54, more than 36. They had a meeting to play against them. The Nets. They had a meeting because they lost at the Mazz at home on Mok.
Starting point is 01:14:45 They had a meeting to talk about the Nets. Cooper Fland. Hey, Dallas is just as bad as the damn Nets, though. Listen, listen, the next game,
Starting point is 01:14:57 the Nets lost by 10. To them they won. But, listen, the team's at the bottom, they can lose by one or 400 at a certain point in time. It's whatever, man. He just counted out. You heard Janice?
Starting point is 01:15:16 Janice, you heard him? Did you hear him? He said one thing that let us know is over. They should do a trade right now. I think we got about, what, 40 or 39 games? Yeah, he started counting games. When you start counting games, you know that season is over with. We got about 39 games, 17, 17, 17 minutes, two hours.
Starting point is 01:15:33 That's the team. You heard the TV. I've already booked my flight. Confirmation is already set. Table's already. Got my grease plates. Model service is ready. We good.
Starting point is 01:15:49 After I lost like that, what do you do? Go home, go out. Somebody going to be funny in the locker room. Somebody going to say something funny. I don't know if I ever lost like that. In this era? In this era, I don't know. They probably are going out.
Starting point is 01:16:00 I know back in our era, hell of know. Fuck. We didn't score. Nobody really scored like that. When you trashed, when you trashed somebody by that much. To beat us by that much. We scored. So that means you got to be trying to score.
Starting point is 01:16:14 I was there. By 50, though? Yes, that wasn't me. It was. The first game was. I was hurt. You played against Boston. I was hurt.
Starting point is 01:16:23 If you was on a team, I was hurt, that wasn't me. You played the first game against Boston. That wasn't me. That was an alternate. Oh, okay, I get it. I get it. You were in there, but you were nice. I was an alternate player.
Starting point is 01:16:36 Altitude. I was Gilbert Arena. No, it's fucking Gilbert. That's fucking Gilbert. Thursday, we're at 30 fast. That's the game I'm talking about. That's why we're number nine. I don't know who that.
Starting point is 01:16:54 I don't know who that. You want to praise them because they beat a team. Good, I said give the Knicks a praise because they won, they beat the Nests by 50 points. I'm just saying they had a player's only meeting responded in this fashion. I mean, I'm happy they responded like this, though. Could have lost that. Still the NBA team, and you still got to go out there and play.
Starting point is 01:17:17 So, hey, at the end of the day, this man. I don't think that's what you call a response. I know. Like, against them, that's not the game. Still an NBA. Who they play next? They be 36. They play the six.
Starting point is 01:17:28 36 without a meeting. Yeah. Like, they've got to respond against the same. Sixers. Okay. No. No. No.
Starting point is 01:17:34 No. Brooklyn. And then you respond to this. So you build it up. You got to keep building it up. What was the build up last time? He beat him about 36. Whatever that meeting.
Starting point is 01:17:42 Whatever that meeting was. No, that's nasty work. I think they fall in apart. They falling apart internally. They don't know. But why, though? Shit, because they've trying to figure out who to get rid of. Well, Kat.
Starting point is 01:17:57 Which one of you, which one of you, which one of you guys? I thought. I thought it was Tibbs. I thought it was Sims, folk. Playing them too much. Now, niggas... Not in Maddie they don't playing.
Starting point is 01:18:06 Remember, they've been saying that Mike Brown hasn't been able to identify roles for the team since the beginning of the season. When I was rolling with them, I thought they had some shit because, you know, my mojo go with them. Cool, we're going to get it together. We're going to get some wins. We won the cup. Then I seen that shit, and it was like, you know what? That shit's fucked up the locker room because a lot of niggas is looking sideways. Like, man, don't you put your mouth.
Starting point is 01:18:30 That's your problem. Don't you motherfucking put your thumb on. The niggins is over and thumb control. Niggins are not figure it out. Am I gonna be next? You know, am I gonna be next? They don't know who the next victim is. I know, I know that he's gonna say.
Starting point is 01:18:46 You said exactly what the problem. He said exactly what the problem. They better call robber. Mike Brown has came there and he do not know the roles to give them. Well, nah, we can't do that now. The problem is these rolls was already set. So whatever the fuck you got in your mind is irrelevant.
Starting point is 01:19:06 You're messing up the pecking order that was already established. You can't make a sheep of wolf. So whoever you think should get more minutes and more time and more plays does not work here. Whoever you like and you've got this expectation for does not work. we already have established he's going to shoot number one shots. Cat going to come in, he's going to score 12 or 25. Right. That's his role, 12 or 25?
Starting point is 01:19:37 One of the other. Right? Then you got, you got McBride going to come off the bench. He's going to do what he do. You can't bring somebody you think is going to come up in here and he's going to get something that he didn't deserve. So the fact that the coach hasn't figured it out and just say, hey, from what I know, you're number one,
Starting point is 01:19:56 one option, you number two, you're number three, number four, let's go. You sit here trying to rearrange it, is the problem. So what happens to Coler? They won in season time. They was balling. But who was balling? They beat the Spurs. Colick was balling. And now
Starting point is 01:20:10 they're going to losing streak is the white boy Colick was balling. Jordan Clarkson was balling. They didn't have Shamit. Mitchell Robinson was doing his thing. He's been consistent, I think throughout the whole team. He's been the most consistent. But Kat hasn't been consistent.
Starting point is 01:20:26 O.G. ain't been consistent. Josh Hart, I don't know. Like I said, Josh Hart, man, I don't know what's going on with you. He ain't been the same guy. Like, we seen last year, Josh Hart that was giving us 12, 10, and 9 every other game. And he was very consistent with that, that line. Like, we knew Josh's going to come in and get 13, 13, and 8. He's not giving us nowhere near that, right?
Starting point is 01:20:50 McKell Bridges, we don't know what to expect from him. We think he was going to be like a Chris Middleton type. come in here give us middies give us threes we don't know what to expect from none of these guys isn't the roles we can say man Mike ain't going in there saying what you're supposed to do
Starting point is 01:21:07 but at the same time Kat has complained about what his role is we know what Brunson's role is right but who are the other guys when you got Colick who was bawling who ain't even playing no more you got Shamit come in automatically he gets you shoot that bitch a whole bunch of
Starting point is 01:21:25 times. McBride, he still don't know what the fuck he should be doing or not. He don't know when he should shoot the ball. It's a long season, man. They're still in third. He said the same thing about OKC, and now they got back on track. It's a long season.
Starting point is 01:21:41 Yeah, but OKC is working. We were praising Mike Brown and the new... But who's been in trade talks? They won them? Who's been in trade talks the whole season? Nobody on OKC's been in trade talks for them to have this pressure. That's what's true. That's true.
Starting point is 01:21:55 This is a pressure time right now. It's a pressure time right now. Who want to go to Milwaukee? I went, my mind, my mind fucked up. After all that. Ain't nothing wrong with Milwaukee? After all that. Go back from there.
Starting point is 01:22:08 You better relax. I have to go to Milwaukee. Have you been in touch with your Milwaukee family as of like... No, he owe a child support over there. Damn, man. You got that's not... What? Not information that everybody needs to know.
Starting point is 01:22:20 What? Daddy wasn't there. Ski. No, not that child support. Oh, okay. You know, you got family and, you know, you got family. They go after your, they sister's child. Child support is, child support is an adult trying to get money from.
Starting point is 01:22:42 I'm very aware of what you're explaining. Your child is going to support me. So he's hiding from. We're family. Family. You want to give him to read. You back. And that's a good pickbacker.
Starting point is 01:22:57 Well, like, at least blessing with a free give-me pick on underdog. Hey, look, go. He was talking like you had a missing kid over there or something. Yeah, I was going to be like, wait, what? Why he got a 414, baby? Hey, Mike Brown, I'll see you going through it. Let me just, let me just tell you something. Whatever Tibbs did last year with the minutes, do it.
Starting point is 01:23:17 It worked. I will. Starting five average more than 35 minutes. last year. Nobody averaged this year. So that means the people,
Starting point is 01:23:28 Tibbs didn't want to get in the game for some reason. He's putting them in. Lequint Dickey. And they're losing. Carry on. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:23:37 Thank you. I don't mind if I do. Well, speaking of Mike Brown. I'd be damn if I average 37 minutes last year, then you're going to bump me the motherfucker 32. They all average.
Starting point is 01:23:46 Speaking of Mike, we got to talk about a situation that went down during the Knicks a road loss to the Warriors last week. Mike Brown and Draymond. Last week. Yeah, damn.
Starting point is 01:23:54 Damn. Can I hope? It's Thursday, all right? Shit. I told y'all, it's the beard. This is. Damn. Okay.
Starting point is 01:24:04 So, Mike, Brian. Turn this nigga red now. You know, this bike's getting a nigga get red. He's going to go up. My skin has been glowing. Shout out Aqua for. But Mike Brown, Dramont Green, have a well-documented history with Brown serving as an associate head coach for the Warriors from 2016 to 2022,
Starting point is 01:24:21 being a part of three championships with the team. Cat and Draymond Green also have a documented history of not rocking with each other. And that continued in this game last week. Let's take a look at some of the shenanigans and hijinks that went on. So second quarter, late in second quarter, Draymond, foul cat, got to an argument with some game officials. Here, Mike Brown said, you ain't going to give a nigga a hug dog? Nah, not during the game. They hugged up.
Starting point is 01:24:49 Share the moment. Later in the game, Draymond, flagrant foul. on cat. He tried to grab his ankles. I had the same reaction flaggy. Yeah, you see it right there. Not a good play. Dremont whistled for a flagrant foul. You got a second for that?
Starting point is 01:25:08 Yeah, you tried to grab a man angle. So later in that fourth quarter, obviously the game was already decided where is going to win. Drey and Cat exchanged some words. Dremont said the cat called him a front runner. Dremont did not like that. I like that. Dreymond said he likes to talk the entire game, not just when the Warriors are winning. Anybody who knows him in his issue would know that. So obviously they got separated. Okay, cat?
Starting point is 01:25:33 Cat trying to seek up for himself. Dremont not amused by it, proceeded to start trolling him as he ran to the bench. And then as the game ended, Mike Brown hugging it up with Dre and Steph, Kee King, if you will, with both of them. According to report, some next players weren't feeling all the love that Brown was showing Dremont during and after that game. So I have to ask, our crew, all played in the league. Is Mike Brown hugging Dremont Green after the game a big deal? You know that he has beef with one of your star players? Not for me.
Starting point is 01:26:13 I mean, didn't he coach him? They have three championships together? They want three championships together? Oh, yeah, no, they go. Yeah, that's... The first hug was, like, I'm sorry. sorry. It was more I'm sorry, like, my bad, you know. He said it my bad. Like, he hugged him my bad.
Starting point is 01:26:28 He was like, great, you ain't going to say hello? You ain't go give a nigga a hug, dog? Yeah, so I... During the game. Yeah. After the game, I mean, you know, it's... You know what I do. I mean, I don't know. I got to hear the context. Because even Steph was in there like, uh... Right, right. Right, so it's not, but it's not like, we don't know what they're talking about.
Starting point is 01:26:54 I'm pretty sure it's about the shit that was happening in the game. I'm going to text you later, bro. I'll hit you later. I'm just saying reports are... I can't show my team. I've got any affiliation with you right now. You're three-ringed.
Starting point is 01:27:07 You've got a smacked, man. So after the game, too, you can't say what's up to somebody. Text me. Nah. In the pitcher, man, of the fan. Man, text me later, bro. In the back. Hit me in the back.
Starting point is 01:27:21 Somebody you spent three... Man. Three championships. with every day and you're a defense guy and now I see you after the game was just like, all right, you're on the other side. Nice. What other side?
Starting point is 01:27:34 You're on the other side. You're on a whole new troop over here. Man, listen, man. You're not on the sideline sitting next to me over here. Man, Draymont telling him, man, good luck, man. Yeah, but that wasn't a good look. That's not what he did. You gave him a Thanksgiving hug.
Starting point is 01:27:50 Yeah, like, yeah. This ain't Thanksgiving, my nigga. This ain't Thanksgiving, my bad. You know him. You know how about it. So what if Jaymond would have had a loose ball, would have ran over there, doled after it in there? Mike Brown there. Some Mike Brown not supposed to help him up either.
Starting point is 01:28:03 He was supposed to sit there. Fucking. My main player said fuck him. I say fuck him. Nah. That's not their relationship. Yeah. Well, that's what the problem is.
Starting point is 01:28:13 That not saying. Like, man, why are you over here? Keehee and cock high with this nigga. Fuck him. He didn't turn me down. He just tried to trip me. Nigel what you want? So why you didn't?
Starting point is 01:28:24 He didn't get my name. Post his shanker, Mike. You're supposed to shank the nigger. You ain't supposed to call the cops on me. So the Knicks, the Knicks players is mad. The report some Nix players know. They're starting to show a lot of names of actually who. I got to imagine one of those probably 6-11.
Starting point is 01:28:44 That's what you're. That's what I'm saying. You're worried about. Draymond Green and coach. It's just rough the players are in my performance. Ruff some players the wrong way. He's not coaching. Like he's coaching like he want us to lose to them like he won't go back on the
Starting point is 01:28:58 Mike why you hugging him I don't hug him you're part of us time That's what you want the cat to do It's not like what this is what you want to do How you hug him you've got to be on that side? That's not cat it last year But he's mad he hugged what we're going to we don't know who but that that's the least one word they all doing that now they all All the part of that.
Starting point is 01:29:26 That's mental shit right there. The fact that you care what the coaches, the coach is doing? You look up and see the coach hugging the other niggas on the other team, my niggins. No, just two people he was on the team with. Okay. Eddie Jordan went and heard of the Jason kid, after Jason kid, bust my ass. After the goddamn Mike Bebe, bust my ass. And you still remember.
Starting point is 01:29:44 The fucking I can't you fuck full. Nope. I don't see you still remember. You brought it up. There's some pain. I'm just thinking about the teams he coached. Nope. Right after the game, the coach and the star player.
Starting point is 01:29:55 He used to coach, that's what they do? No, what if you were that player? Obviously, Mike Brown is talking to what two players still? That's what I'm saying? Who was there? What was the two players that was there? It wasn't the whole goal to say. It's just the two players he coached.
Starting point is 01:30:06 I didn't know it was a big deal until one of the little trainers on our team was wearing some Maverick shorts. KG seen that nigger with the Maverick shorts on. Style of shorts in that. He didn't want a nigger had a little logo on his phone from another team that he was formally working for it. And he told him to take them shorts. Get off the bus, take them shorts off, and you got to run all way down there and run back without the shorts. Don't ever bring them shorts on in here again. Somebody, another player from another team who was wearing some other sit.
Starting point is 01:30:37 That was a kid? He took that shit from the locker, put it in a shower, cut the shower on. Like, don't be wearing other team shit in here. But what's the value of putting it in the shower? Why not just folding nice? I'm just saying that just the allegiance, the allegiance that you have with your team and how you feel about it is. It rubs some players the wrong way. It's like, it's us.
Starting point is 01:30:59 It's us. We're supposed to be us. What the fuck is you wearing that shit? Why are you over there, Kiki and ha-ha. I'm with them, niggis, man. You want to go over there and play with them?
Starting point is 01:31:07 It's okay. How was we won't do three championships? You want to go play with them? You want to go try to win some more championships with them? We try to win a championship, Mike. What the fuck is you doing? We don't need you over there. Obviously, you know,
Starting point is 01:31:20 I'm not playing like you. Obviously, y'all ain't celebrating because you over here worried about what I'm doing. Because you over here trying to sub sub us in and out like you play for the Warriors, we're not the Warriors? Shouldn't y'all be in the locker rule? Right. Wait, wait, how about this?
Starting point is 01:31:33 Why are y'all out here? Y'all shouldn't be shaking their hand. They just whooped your ass. Our ass. Our ass. No, y'all are. Steve Gurch is. You're going to take it.
Starting point is 01:31:41 I subbed y'all in and they did a number on y'all. You subbed bad, diggers. You're supposed to go back. Take your ass to everybody. Yeah. Take your ass in locker room. Let me say, hey, Seth, how you doing. I'm going to text you, bro.
Starting point is 01:31:54 I'm going text you. Well, you never, like, say, No, love? None of that shit. Like, game, dog. What Boogie Cousers do to Isaiah Thomas when he was trying to shake Chris Paul hands? And bring your ass here. Don't shake his fucking hand.
Starting point is 01:32:07 You don't shake them fucking nigger's hands. Get to the back, nigga. I don't give a fuck how much of a friend you is to him. Uh-uh. We ain't doing that, we're going to bust their ass next time. Fuck that kumbaya shit. Y'all nigger, zhong call each other. Do something else.
Starting point is 01:32:21 After we play, after we busts your ass, we went out together. After the game. After who? We waited by the locker next. By the locker. Not outside on the court, everybody. No, we're fucking out of the house. He's like, yeah, we're talking about it.
Starting point is 01:32:35 Wait, where? You don't remember. Nick, you don't think he went out of New Year. He remembers. I do, I had 33. Yeah. Against him. You don't remember going out with him.
Starting point is 01:32:45 He remembers? Yeah, I was out. Yeah, I was out. At 33? Yeah, my fucking fuck with them. See, that's what I'm talking about. I got a signature shoe. I'm hanging with them.
Starting point is 01:32:52 I'm hanging with them. He was used to it. He was on fucking New York. He was on fucking New York, I was used to that already, so don't even know that. You remember the BlackBerry, the BB? Wait, how can you get my BB number? Delete?
Starting point is 01:33:14 Delete. No, I just got. Trying to give me back. I guess. No, I just wait. All right. So not a big deal. Just had a check.
Starting point is 01:33:22 I get what you're saying. I get what you're saying. Sometimes you do get in trouble. I got in trouble for talking to Gil after he got traded to the Orlando. When you was with the Wizards? Yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 01:33:34 You got in trouble? What's your trouble was? That was mad that I was talking to him. Oh, like during the game? Yeah. Before the game, during the game. Why are you in trouble that? I did.
Starting point is 01:33:45 I was like, stop talking to me, bro. You didn't like this shit. No! That's how I'm not talking to me, bro. They're just stop. They're looking, man. Like, stop messing with me. I wasn't playing you.
Starting point is 01:33:54 He wasn't playing about the guy. He wasn't playing. Yeah, yeah. I wasn't going to get anything. So, man, how's everything going on over here? It's crazy, huh? You know, listen to all, like, eat them. All right, well, let's keep this thing moving to more positive basketball discourse.
Starting point is 01:34:08 Today, very special day in basketball history, 20th anniversary of Kobe's iconic 81-point game against the Raptors. Back in 2006, let's take a trip back down memory lane, watch some highlights if we can. Ooh, look at the standard definition lifestyle. I don't know if y'all remember those days. Remember those days. But Kobe put up 26 in the first half the Lakers trailed by 14 at the break. In the second half, he went nuclear,
Starting point is 01:34:32 putting up an insane 55 points outscoring the Raptors by himself, 55 to 41 in that second half. Kobe finished with 81 points. He was 28 of 46 from the field, 7 of 13 from 3, 18 of 20 from the line. Still the second highest single game scoring performance in in-Bay history behind Wilson 100 piece, Although there is actual video evidence of Kobe's game.
Starting point is 01:34:55 Y'all say Jordan could do some shit like this. You see the Kobe County. That shit, man. Remember that night. Boom. There it is. LeBron could never. Shout out of the FSM West.
Starting point is 01:35:12 Jewel and could never. Bill McDonald's, Stu Lance on the game. Still together to this day. Come on. That's a lot of fucking shot. That's a lot. 55 and I have. I have to drop a 26 in the previous half.
Starting point is 01:35:34 Oh, bro. Go on the pick and roll, nigga. What he's doing. You got 70. What a legendary moment for the game of basketball. There it is. Got him.
Starting point is 01:35:56 I thought it was in overtime. Beautiful moment. Shout out Kobe. You know why that's impressive? The teammates he had. There was no reason you should have been guarding him at any point in this game. Gilamara had him on that team. Couldn't shoot.
Starting point is 01:36:19 Uh-huh. Another name. Chris. Yeah, uh-huh. Say another one. Say another one. Would you like me to name the other starter? Couldn't shoot?
Starting point is 01:36:27 Luke one? Couldn't shoot? But none of those guys. No, but I'm saying, none of the guys on the team can actually shoot the ball for anybody. So Sasha Vujic, one for five in that game. He was the only one that can shoot, but he was not like he played 30, 40 minutes. 14 minutes. Louisville will have to play 14 minutes.
Starting point is 01:36:47 Your teammate, 0 for 1. Devin George, 0 for 4. Devin George, shoot a little bit. It was a stringy at best. As I said, it was like one of those where you can really just triple teen them and just say, you'll pass it to one of them. You just look at the box or it looks like a video game. The NBA just started really shooting in like 2000.
Starting point is 01:37:08 2009 to now. No, no, no. Team shot the ball, like Detroit Pistons. Chanssey shot the ball. He wasn't a shit, though. He was a dead on shooter. Rip Hamilton was a dead on-chip.
Starting point is 01:37:23 Wallace was a dead shooter. Damn, none of them can shoot the ball at all. So the fact that you... Well, that was the point of the triangle is you can't double. Yeah. Without us passing and getting them layups. So it's a high field officer. is based on that.
Starting point is 01:37:39 Then if we don't got shooters, Cove, do your fucking thing all night. Yeah, you can score. That's impressive. You could score or you can score. Kobe's 81. I've never seen the 100. That's what they started calling them,
Starting point is 01:38:00 Ocho Cinco. They started calling them Ocho Cinco. Right? Wasn't that the name? Hmm? Well, they started calling Ocho Cinco, Kobe. Uh-huh. The greatest.
Starting point is 01:38:11 That's when they said. No, but after he started calling him, I think it was. He said goat. Kobe's 81. Is that the nickname he gave him? Why do people say that's the second? Great.
Starting point is 01:38:26 31, no. 8th one of the world. I've never seen 100, the 100. Is that even... Ocho uno? No, it was... Ocho, I mean, I'm sorry. Was it, was it...
Starting point is 01:38:36 Ocho, uno? I didn't, I don't remember who was saying Ocho Uno. He was saying something in Spanish, huh? Is the 100 really real? The Wilk Chamber 100? Swaggy, what is real? Do you think that's air you're breathing? No, I mean, allegedly, the game happened.
Starting point is 01:38:53 There's witnesses who said they saw take place. We've struggled to compile together enough footage to actually prove it. But given Will Stature in that time, it's athletic problems. And you can go attend your own player's shot. So you shoot the ball, I can just take it and score it. Like a lob. And Cole could have got a hundred. He had 26 in the first half.
Starting point is 01:39:15 I was a bad half for him He did it overtime So you think about the second half He went crazy in the second half But that whole month he was going crazy Yeah, the whole month The whole month would he average He had 65, he had 63 and three
Starting point is 01:39:29 Second half you did that in the second half Sixty three and three Yeah Yeah Second half Yeah, yeah ten points out of that game That game did not go to overtime Not that he needed over time
Starting point is 01:39:39 If I go hot in the first two quarters You got 70 something Yeah Over 60 for sure You gotta do that math. It's hard to just stay hot the whole game, though. I remember finishing my game and looking at that, like, God, damn. I think I only had 24 that night.
Starting point is 01:40:01 I was like, fuck. He had 80. What? Shit. I'm never going to catch him in the score. What was everybody saying in the league around that time when he did that? Repress. It was 06.
Starting point is 01:40:18 What the fuck? I remember that? I was in the door. Did you guys have sidekicks? What was going on? We get the box score after every game. You get the ball score. On the plane, you get the reason.
Starting point is 01:40:25 But no sidekick back in? It wasn't a league. It wasn't none of that shit. Literally, it was the box scores for all the league scores. He wasn't in the league, didn't. But me, I was in a little different category. See, I only looked at three players scores. The three that was above me in scoring.
Starting point is 01:40:42 So it was basically, let me see what. Okay, go. He didn't do shit tonight. He didn't do shit tonight. Man, they all scored 50. Friday was one of those. be sitting here like, all right, man, next game. All right, if I, okay, I didn't score five, so I need to score 35, so I need to score 37
Starting point is 01:40:59 to get back to the, he started doing that math. He was like, man, he had 81. That one. And he looked at how many times he shot that bitch. Start getting mad at the 18. Yeah, he was like, what the fuck? He started getting mad at that team. Like, come on, man.
Starting point is 01:41:12 Oh, damn. Who the fuck was scoring on this? God, damn. What was going to? No. That shit gave Canadian is a bad name. Mo Pee-out. All that shit, damn, Mo.
Starting point is 01:41:23 Shit. Jaylin and Mo. Imagine, like, no, A-E-I was behind him. Right. So I know A-Yos was sitting looking at Toronto like, come on, no. Something. Double over something. Do what you do to me.
Starting point is 01:41:35 Sorry. But his average was at like 46 at that point. It went way up to that point, so it was like. Hold him to one. He was already on that 40-point streak. He was already doing that 40-point shit. How much did you have against Toronto after you? after that game
Starting point is 01:41:52 because I know you saw them after that. Did y'all talk shit to Toronto after that? Like you see seven roads that y'all say something about it? Oh, no? No? I would have been going crazy. I would have been going crazy.
Starting point is 01:42:03 I would have like, oh, so y'all I want to play defense tonight, huh? Right? Real. Yeah, nasty. So let me... Because Mike James over there, I think. You played the Raptors,
Starting point is 01:42:14 I believe, February 1st, 2006, or just a week plus later, 35. Don't do that. You don't fucking do that. I don't know what I mean? No, because you said, no, the reason is
Starting point is 01:42:30 it's kind of like 81. You said 81. What did you do next? It was supposed to be up my 55. That's my ass. Now my 35, my 35 was good at that moment of time because I average 29. So they didn't hold me for nothing.
Starting point is 01:42:46 But compared to what you compared it to, like, so you didn't do He did it. So Kobe, 81 and 42 minutes against the Raptors. You had 35 and 42 minutes against the Raptors. You were trying. That's a good thing. You just couldn't get 40?
Starting point is 01:43:02 Can't get half? And we win? God. I know you tried. You said again, you said Kobe to 81 in how many minutes? 42. And what, Gil did? What?
Starting point is 01:43:14 35 and 45. Because you did not win in case you're won, and you lost by five. God, damn. That's why. If I had 81. Mike James 29 in that guy. See, that was the difference. Mike James was cooking it was.
Starting point is 01:43:30 Huh? That's a cook. No, no. Mike James was cooking you because he ain't supposed to have a 29. He bulled, don't yell? Yeah, that was 81. First of all, he was second to scoring in guards and point guards. Mike James?
Starting point is 01:43:43 It was meeting him. No way. Yeah, Mike James was like that? No way. I don't. What point guards scored in our era? How much Mike James? average. 20. Mike James? 20 a game. Remember eight hours or two. We didn't have scoring point guards.
Starting point is 01:44:01 Me, Mike James, Mike Bibby. I had one point that game. I had one point in that game. He's going one? One. Play Philly. We played Philly that day. Today you played Philly. 2006. Came off the bench, five minutes. One point. One point. Two shots up. Rookie year. That's a lot. That's a lot. Two-point games. Geneva.
Starting point is 01:44:26 Probably got Mike James test, Gil. Oh, just my James. Just go, Mike James. Right here. Basketball reference, Mike. I got 36 tabs off here. James. Right here.
Starting point is 01:44:37 Boom. 0506. He average 20.3. Confirmed. No, I can't see. I forgot. 20.3. I never knew that.
Starting point is 01:44:54 So, I was just going on the subject. I got a question for you guys. What's more impressive? He's 81 point game or his 60 piece in his final NBA game. Ooh, I had 30 that night, too. Wait, said it again? 81 point game or his 60 piece in his final game against the Jazz. 60.
Starting point is 01:45:11 60 going out for me. Yeah, your last game, you're going on 60. And he was told to get 60. 81. He was told to get 60, and he went on in his last, his last game on his last legs, last knees, last Achilles. And they said, this is it. This is my last game you're going to ever see of me.
Starting point is 01:45:37 And I'll give you 60. Who else has done it? Who else is going to do it? Andy dropped the mic. Who else is done it? And he dropped the mic on everybody. About 81. How about 81? Who else has done it?
Starting point is 01:45:47 Oh, I mean, 81's cool. Eighty-one was the best version of code. No, yeah, that's the best version. 06, Kobe, was the best version of that. That nigga was insane. Insane. Insane. And to cap it off with an 81-point game that season,
Starting point is 01:46:01 Average in 35 Yeah, he was He was going crazy That was the last We've seen in number eight Yeah That was the last we've seen See I'm gonna go with the 60
Starting point is 01:46:12 I don't go with that Yeah Because my last game That's it Like this I'm out I dropped the mic I can't do nothing else This is it
Starting point is 01:46:19 I can't come back Mamba out Like everybody in the arena Like it's Yeah They lost that game right No No they won that game
Starting point is 01:46:29 It was the truth It was the play It was the play It was the playoffs that fucked me. No, what I'm saying? If we have to paint a picture of ourselves and we have to end it in a certain way, there's only really two people
Starting point is 01:46:39 that ended their careers, and you were like, how your career started, how it went, this makes sense for you. I hate it. Jordan, in Utah, and that was what he retired on, you can't write it him no better.
Starting point is 01:46:54 Kobe's saying, hey, Shaq said, Hey, I need you to score 60. And he goes out, and he scores 60. and that's what everybody went there for to see if you can if you still got any so whatever he had in his body he gave it he left it right there
Starting point is 01:47:10 mom out I'm good we was all satisfied I hated it I hated it I hated it I cried yeah shot a tear when that shit happened I was like damn this is it like this is over I knew he didn't want to leave his legacy on not making it to the playoffs any of that he wanted to actually leave off like Michael
Starting point is 01:47:31 left off. I want to leave off like, fuck all this, not, no playoffs and the farewell tour and all that. I think that was, I think he was more mad than anything. He's a body couldn't hold up to sustain, taking the team to the playoffs and all that shit, but I didn't
Starting point is 01:47:47 like none of that. I didn't like it. Even though he scored 60, it was, you know, it looked good, but I It was dope. It was dope. Shack asked for 50 and he gave him 60. It was dope. The moment was dope. Okay, damn, 10 more points? Shit. I know he asked for something, motherfucker, Our chat various students.
Starting point is 01:48:03 Yeah, we were correct. Yeah, 60 was dope. Everybody was in the building. People had, like, teammates bringing jerseys and all that. Oh, you're so the team. I think DJ and Benga. He told everybody to bring, what you're going to bring
Starting point is 01:48:17 because it was the last time. Yeah, all that. That was dope. Just the environment. Him going out there to get 60. He tried to come out the game, like, at 40, but Byron Scott told him to keep going. But 81, you never go.
Starting point is 01:48:31 That's the greatest performance you're going to ever see in a basketball game, in the Jersey. So you're going to take that. The people y'all call ghosts would never score 81 in this lifetime. You get 60, but you're not. But 60 on the way out, though. But it's 60 on the way out, though. Like, if it's your last game. It's 81.
Starting point is 01:48:52 I'm Wilk Chamber and this lifetime. Y'all never seen 100, but you've seen 81 with that. 100%. 100% And y'all ghosts ain't did that So you take I don't know if you remember
Starting point is 01:49:05 But earlier this season You said that LeBron was the gut So y'all taking That wasn't Nick saying that That was Nicholas Yeah, that was high I'd be high
Starting point is 01:49:12 So y'all take it One game at 81 Instead of being able to go out You are with 60 Which one is better 81 or 60 Which one is better? Yeah
Starting point is 01:49:21 It was higher Modern day Like I mean The 801 modern day Will Chamberlain That's Going out. I'm just saying going out, your last game going out, though.
Starting point is 01:49:32 Are we doing the viewing this the last day code? I mean, what we're doing right now, 81? Today is the day that Kobe scored, anyone. The 20-year-old is 80. I did that for this to last day, Kobe scored 60. I mean, did that yet. No, they're not going to do that. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:49:45 They will do it. It's a 10-year anniversary, right? 10-year anniversary. On this day that Kobe scored 60? No, no. I'm saying, like, no, when it comes, they will go. Yes, he will. This one is the most important.
Starting point is 01:49:57 This is the most important one. No, the most important one is his 60 going out, his last game. 81. He don't have a statue of the 60-point game. Watch. What is the statue? Watch. The statue is of 81.
Starting point is 01:50:08 Watch. It's right in the middle. It's right in the middle of the stage. Watch. Watch. Watch. Watch when the 10-year-one come up. Shit, they had the rosters at the bottom.
Starting point is 01:50:20 Man. During this game, with Coke's score 81. Look at that MJ's last game, 15. Mm. That's a six. The Wizards, the Wizards against the Sixers. No playoffs. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:50:33 My other ghost got a long way to go. You can score $70,000, but you got to get to 81 at some point. All right, well, let's keep this thing moving on to mostly fans. You still got most events? Presented by our friend and the Underdog. That was the last year you were eight, right? Yep. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:50:51 We still have mostly fans. Most of you in the chat of are lazy. That was the last one. That was the last one. So we got a question from Underdog. user Zadarian, which current NBA star gets the most credit for winning without actually being the main reason their team wins? Get the most credit for winning?
Starting point is 01:51:08 Which current NBA star gets the most credit for winning without actually being the main reason their team wins? When you say credit, who's giving them credit? Yeah. The media, um... Do I just ask the question? Other players? What's the question?
Starting point is 01:51:26 DeDarian, if you're in the chat. So I'll read the question for you again. which current NBA star gets the most credit for winning without actually being the main reason their team wins. We actually have Zadarian live on the phone to provide more context to this question. I got a name, but... It's more credit than they deserve.
Starting point is 01:51:47 It's the most credit for winning. Wouldn't that be a number two? It'd be your number two. It'd be your honor to be right. If that's what you guys want to say, the name would be helpful. Is he a star? No, he's not a star, though.
Starting point is 01:52:02 It is? Not to me. He's not a star. I mean you're But, but that's all apart from winning That's what I'm saying Are we talking about
Starting point is 01:52:11 That's what I'm saying Is it fans? Like You would say Ramon Green But he's not a star Yeah, that's what I say Star.
Starting point is 01:52:19 He's not a Star player He's an All-Star But that's not a Star player A All-Star is not a Star player No, we know what a star player Wait hold on, hold on, okay You're number one or two On the option board
Starting point is 01:52:30 You guys are the stars of the team Right now So Jimmy would be the star Yeah. If they were the one. Would you say Jimmy? Would you say Jimmy? No, but won the championship.
Starting point is 01:52:41 Is that one? So like Clay, nobody's going to say, no, Clay did his thing, right? Brown did his thing. Derek White? Huh? That's a hard question. Derek White? Is he a star?
Starting point is 01:52:53 No. But no, he's not a star. Duane Way? He's saying without affecting the win? Duane way? What is it without affecting the win? Chris Bosch. Which current NBA star gets the most credit?
Starting point is 01:53:05 Which current gets more? gets more credit than... Which current NBA star gets the most credit for winning without actually being the main reason their team wins? Okay. Oh, the main star, their team wins. So which current NBA star gets the most credit for winning without actually being the main reason their team wins?
Starting point is 01:53:27 Shit. Win it all? Who won? Think of the teams who won. No, who's winning? Like, who's winning? But you don't get credit. I'll say cat?
Starting point is 01:53:46 The Darien has stumped. the couch here at Gills Arena presented by 100. No, he's not stumped. It's just You guys He's texted what he thinks is a star.
Starting point is 01:53:55 Y'all thought anybody's stars and all stars and superstars. Y'all just think We know who the star is off. It's a bona fide second option. So who's the bona fide
Starting point is 01:54:03 and cat? Who's overflamed? It will be Tael Williams and Shea. It would be Jamal Murray and Joker. Which Murray don't get enough credit
Starting point is 01:54:13 because he don't consider him a star. James and James and James is a star. James is a star. James and Kauai. Maxie and B.
Starting point is 01:54:25 Mitchell and Garland. That's a good one. That's a good one. Yeah. Random. No, they don't get credit. No, we don't talk about them. But I'm saying, if they don't get, no, we don't talk about them.
Starting point is 01:54:40 So, but he's a star. How about this? We have somebody here who gets more recognition who is not really a second option. Who's looking for 240. They are? Do you think Austin Rames gets credit for the record? Do you think he gets credit? Yeah, yeah, he does.
Starting point is 01:55:01 He does. He's more, he's, right now, he's, he gets more love than Cade. He gets more loved than Donovan all the way over there. He gets a lot of love. I'm just saying. When he was winning, Limin Daddy was Lemon Daddy and. Does Donovan Metro have a Lemon Daddy billboard? No.
Starting point is 01:55:17 Okay. He's sending Cleveland like, damn. It's the first of my husband. Wake up. I know. So we have to match Garland for having to feel that way. And Garland ain't doing it. He gets more publicity than a lot of number one options in the NBA.
Starting point is 01:55:36 Because of the market. I know. But that's what I said. It has to be somebody in the market. He was averaging 30 at one point. But it has to be somebody in the big market. 33, actually. Rudy.
Starting point is 01:55:45 Rudy. Gober? Pengoon, K.D. Rudy in there? Rudy. No. Just Randle. Randall and Ed, man.
Starting point is 01:55:55 I know, but Rudy's a star. He's a star. Rudy ain't no fucking star. He's a star. He's a four-time day. He's a star for winning. Who gets love for winning that don't deserve it? Gordon Hayward back my day.
Starting point is 01:56:09 He wasn't winning. He's an active. Yeah, current. Paul George. It feels like it's a... It's got to be somebody... No, it's not. It's the other way.
Starting point is 01:56:22 I know. It's the other way. It's the other one. It's what they're trying to say. The other dude over there, though. Like we're getting Zaylon. Anybody on OKC? Anybody in the OKC is getting more?
Starting point is 01:56:33 Nah, because Jaylen Wood is not getting, he's not getting, he not getting that credit. Whimby? Wait, well. Winby and who? They made, he made an all-star game and didn't. Who? Yeah. They could be.
Starting point is 01:56:48 Indiana last year. Was anybody getting too much love? Pascal. Pascal and Halliburton. No, Gil was all Pascal. Pascal. and Pascal start hooping after. Remember he's hooping after that?
Starting point is 01:56:59 He started hooping after that. I think they're talking about... He gets too much credit for winning and winning? That's hard, though. That is a hard, I mean... You can go either way on one of them Yeah, yeah. But it ain't them because they both win it.
Starting point is 01:57:17 That's a dumb ass question to make dumb people think. Go ahead, keep thinking. On that note, I'm going to keep thinking. I know y'all are boys I see y'all everywhere see how long TV no I didn't know that look at it I didn't know him yesterday did you see how you're gonna say they told me they said yeah we got they stopped over tickets they stopped my this is the left over ticket section oh everybody was doing sad for me they start giving them sweaters and shit oh
