I hope he was going crazy.
He was on the corner.

They were on the knickle bag.
See on the corner.
Little back on the corner.
Nick who are you head-to-to-to-to-nick's gear.
Head to toe.
Head-to-to-to-to.
I know black.
I know black.
It's going to be one of those days.
But this is Gilles Arena, presented by Underdog.
Woo-W-W-W!
I'm merely a host, Josiah Johnson.
As always, we've got the NBA legend, an NBA 2K player.
Gilbert Arena is here with us.
Mr. Tendé.
Mr. Ten Day.
Okay.
We got...
I was hoping today.
NBA champion of the world.
Swaggy Pete, Nick Young back here with us.
No, no, that doesn't sound too good.
The way I feel right now, my intro got in.
NBA champion of the world.
Swaggy Pete, Nick Young, back in the building with us.
$10.14.
Go on to 13.
Represent tough crowd.
Card carrying country club member, Mr. B.
Brandon Jennings.
Back in with it.
That's how fire I was on.
I was going to fire.
They don't burn the steel, man.
Oh, okay.
I was like, is that dirt or the shirt on fire?
Yeah, I was cooking a day, right?
Mr. 24, that's what you called me.
Mr. 24.
On this side of the couch, we have the distinguished gentleman
from Oak Cliff, former number one pick, Kenyon Martin.
Back to you.
What's that in there, Mike?
And as you can see, we have a vacant spot on the couch
that would be filled by the man known in Cemetery, Larry,
not in the arena, currently.
Are you?
Celebrating, perhaps?
I don't know.
How it goes.
All right, fuck.
Well?
Yeah.
This damn bad.
Uh-uh.
You got a hot pot with him.
The man known at Cemetery Larry,
E.T.W.A. Champion World, Rashad McKinz.
That's bigger than a body bag.
He made that shit.
That nigga put time in that.
Mm-hmm.
He made that for his kids.
The casket.
The Patrick Gilwings.
The arguments.
Not doing it today.
This is going to be one for the better guy.
He came.
Thanks in a field, dude!
Let's get it.
Let's get it.
Mr. Chop cheese, baby.
What up, Killing, ya'all?
In better days.
There are better days, but we got a lot of things to discuss.
I'm sure it's going to be an eventful episode, so make sure you buckle up.
But here's what's cracking in Gil's Arena today.
The Knicks dominated the Spurs in the fourth quarter to take home the NBA Cup title.
Does New York have enough to contend for an actual chip?
NBA Cup champions of the world.
That's a hard-ass clap.
Why do you do it again?
Your son don't hit buckets so you don't know how to be a parent or a cow over everybody.
You know.
You know, right?
They're bowling, right?
We heard you.
Go Nick.
Moving forward, Cooper Flagg set the single game scoring record for an 18-year-old by dropping a 40, please.
Flagg proven he is the face of the NBA, future.
And the Warriors are off to a 13 and 14 start this season.
What do the doves need to do to not waste the twilight of Steph's career before we get to all that?

So the third installment of the NBA Cup title game featured the Spurs and Knicks squaring off for a chance to win $500,000 in prize money.
The Knicks defeated the Magic on Saturday to reach their first NBA Cup final while the Spurs held on to hand the thunder.
Their second loss of the season would winby putting up 22 points in 21 minutes in his first game back from a calf strain.
The Knicks haven't experienced an NBA championship since 1973, reaching the finals just once since then.
So before the game, Nick's head coach Mike Brown was asked about facing Wimby and said,
you go to church the night before and you get on your knees and you pray to the good Lord and you ask for help.
Well, Brown and the Knicks were answered with a team effort that's giving New Yorkers good reason for optimism.
Let's take a look at the highlights if we can. Please.
Game was back and forth in the first quarter with both teams going bucket for bucket to keep things interesting.
Wimby didn't start for the second straight game but didn't enter this one midway through the first frame.
Alien was playing with a heavy heart after finding out his grandmother had passed away earlier in the day.
Finished with 18.6 rebounds in two blocks and 25 minutes.
12 of those points coming in the third quarter, including a stretch where he scored 10 straight.
Dylan Harper at a team high 21 off the bench while De Aaron Fox added 16 and nine dimes.
Define Castro had 15 points on 5 of 15 shooting.
O.G. and Anobi led the Knicks with a game high 27 points on 10 to 17 shooting, including 5 of 10 from distance, along with nine boards.
Jaylor Brunton added 25 and 8.
dime going 11 for 27 from the field. Cap finished with 16 points and 11 boards while
dealing with a calf injury that sidelined him for extended portions of the third and
fourth quarter. Nick's bench was the difference maker in this one especially in
the fourth quarter. Mitchell Robinson grabbed 15 rebounds including 10 on the
offensive side of his 18 minutes of action creating second-chance scoring
opportunities when his team needed them the most. Knicks out rebounded the
spurs 59 to 42 in the game Jordan Clarkson scored eight of his 15 points in the
final frame going three of seven.
from deep
and former second round pick
Tyler Colick added
145 and 5 on 5 or 9 shooting
so Nick's trail by as
much as 11 in the second half
and by 5 in the fourth quarter
went on a 15-3 run to start the final frame
taking control of the game
oh you see them
doing their thing
so
went on to outscore the Spurs
3519 in the quarter
to get their 6thray win
even though this one does not
not officially count on their record.
They still
counts with them. You see them celebrating
the NBA Cup
title. So they've now won 10 of their
last 11 games in their
first NBA championship since
1973, albeit an NBA Cup
championship. So Jaylen Brunson
was named NBA Cup MVP, and after
the game, the captain took some time to show
some love to his squad.
O.G. Annan, O.G. Annan, O.B., Tyler
Kolek, Jordan Clarkson,
Mitchell Robinson, they play their ass off tonight.
Now, without them, we don't win this shit.
We don't win this.
They play their ass off tonight, so...
That's why you all get there.
There's some other things going on during the celebration as well.
We will not get into that.
Why not?
Yeah, we're going to talk about it.
That's the fuck we are.
We're going to fucking discuss that.
You have some commentary on this as well, but...
We're going to discuss that.
I don't know what you're talking about, Josiah.
Like we're talking about that
We're talking about it right now
God damn what part of the game is that
Congratulations to the Knicks
Played the ass off
A courtesy oil check
Yeah
It played that
No but no it was a good
No that was a good basketball game man
So unfortunate that we didn't get to see
Win being this totality
With the many restrictions
And dealing with him off
For things condoluses to him and his family man
very unfortunate
I don't
I don't know this for a short
like how close to him and his grandmother
is or what I was but
I'm saying like in those kind of situations
I'm pretty sure she still lives abroad
I think she's a friend
yeah yeah
not to say to keep a secret
from him but like just
maybe wait till after the game to
let him get through his work
because it's not like he sits at a
desk where he's able to
process it differently throughout the day.
So,
yeah, it's, it's tough.
It's a thin line, you know what I'm saying?
To give that to him,
have him go out and try to play with that on his heart.
Yeah.
It's a tall ass for anyone.
But he was able to manage to get through it as much as he could.
Yeah, no, it was a good game, man.
It was a really good game.
And, yeah, it's, both of those teams are, I'm saying,
they're going to make some noise in the rest of the season, I think.
This was a good growth game for both sides.
Just wish when Wimby had it going in the third,
coach could have left him out there a little longer.
But I get the many restrictions.
Yeah.
Good game, though.
Good game.
So let's shift over to your cemetery lariat.
You go ahead.
Go over there first.
Go ahead.
Over to me. Y'all missed me yesterday. Y'all go here.
Go ahead.
Well, let's shift over this side of the couch.
The biggest takeaway is from the Knicks' NBA Cup championship win over the Spurs.
Knicks wanted it more.
I mean, Wimby had his time restriction, but Jordan Clarkson, man, he came in and, man, gave him a big spark.
I'm going to say that's the reason why they really did win the game.
But other than that, I mean, they were out rebounding them for sure.
I think just the Knicks experience, but it was still good just to see both teams play on that type of spotlight and that type of level.
So I'm sure the Spurs, you know, they got two big games coming up, so I'm sure they'll bounce back.
And the Knicks, you know, it was good for them for the momentum right now.
Like you said, down 11 in the second half, down five in that fourth quarter.
15-3 run Mike Brown opted to leave some of the bench guys in that game.
Get them over the top.
That's coaching.
That's good coaching.
that corner, that corner to do energy, hit a couple shots.
Team get that energy.
And for me, I think Wimby, for sure, was out the game too long.
And when he came back in the game, he turned back into, like, the rookie Wemby kept selling for threes, not, you know, trying to come back fast instead of, you know, sticking to the game plan.
I think they left Fox out too long, too.
I think John Harper had it going, but, you know, you still need that start.
power out there.
Shout to the Knicks.
They're hanging a banner.
We will talk about in the second.
They talked about the Lakers winning.
They had the option to hang a banner.
And they opted out there.
You're not doing it.
I'm feeling we will.
When they're going to win?
There's motivation to do it at the end of the season.
That's all.
You're getting more motivation.
You got to see with the Knicks rag.
Nick's Jacket, Nick's jersey.
Blueed up.
Coordinated.
With the O-N-G.
Biggest segues from the Knicks, NBA.
The biggest takeaway is in-season championship.
That's what the biggest takeaway.
We won.
We.
Yeah, we.
Fuck is we.
We are we.
Yeah.
Hell yeah, we got that money.
Who?
Nick.
The Knicks.
When?
We got the New York Knicks.
We are the Knicks.
They're talking about them.
Me.
We got the New York Knicks.
Yesterday.
Oh, as of yesterday?
Yes.
We got the New York Knicks.
Before after the game.
Nickerbockers.
I already had this pretty shit.
Come on, man.
Nickerbock please.
This isn't the overnight.
That means I already had it.
We've been a fan.
Ready to go.
Huh?
What the talk about?
All that shit I was doing last year, you think I was going to let go this shit?
No.
Couldn't wait for my boys to get in the championship.
What?
Boy.
Well, that took away.
It was like, the city on fire right now.
Man.
The city didn't sleep last night.
That's what I took away.
New York is a city that never sleep.
I know.
Definitely didn't sleep last night.
They tried to put a curfew in.
Wasn't having it.
That would track.
Right.
Last but now at least, let's shift over to Cemetery Larry.
Basket with a chance.
We ready to talk hoop.
Let's talk who picked the last two teams.
You just have these Spurs and the Knicks in the championship of the NBA Cup.
I did say the Spurs was gonna beat who?
Oklahoma City Thunder.
Who was 20, it was 24 and 1.
24 and 1 star, NBA record with you.
This was my team what year, last year?
Mm-hmm.
Playing good.
Playing good. Jordan Clarkson was the guy I said that need to play good.
It's a lot of shit I've been saying, right?
A lot of shit I've been saying, it's been coming to fruition.
Shasha Domit says you were known.
Some circles.
Some circles.
Yeah, still, Brandon had to move seats.
Delusional.
The delusional seat.
Nick, if you're always wrong, ain't he?
Delusion.
Living a delusion, don't it?
It's just the delusional seat.
Hmm.
I brought the book.
The book that he got.
I brought the book.
In Revelation.
I brought the book.
I've been keeping count.
You know what I'm saying?
All the delusional shit I've been saying lately.
Let's talk hoop.
The New York Knicks came out to play.
A lot of good energy.
O.G. did exactly what he was supposed to do.
I love the way that Jordan Clarkson played both sides of the ball.
He didn't give up no point.
Play hard all throughout the game.
Colic.
The white boy, that's the white boy, Colic.
Colic.
Tyler Colic.
Hey, he looked like Drogich out there, you know, giving him a boosted energy that McBride,
unfortunately, was not playing.
Gabe, you know, without him.
you looking to see where the defense is going to come in.
Kat showed up, but the real MVP for me was Mitchell Robinson, 10 offensive boards.
He gave great energy neutralizing Wemby.
I mean, we can say Wemby had situations off the court, but to be very honest, I think
Mitchell Robinson accepted the challenge, and I think that was the main thing he needed to do.
It was neutralized Wemby, keep him off the boards, second chance points, and actually be a defender
down there, rim protector. I think he did all of that. I didn't like the way Jalen Brunson
played. I really loved the way that the Spurs defended him. Josh Hart, I don't know. I don't know
what's going on with Josh Hart. We know what's going on with him. We know some type of way about
Josh Hart. Josh Hart in the room, man. It's like Brunson came play. Yeah, a little too close
for me. It's for inch. Yeah, a little too close to me.
Too many inches. I don't know what's going on over there. Mike Brown showed up. I like the way
Mike coach everything you know down the line for the Knicks you know I'm still in
question right now whether I want to keep rooting for them after what happened
last night I don't really play that that shit I don't like that I don't like that's a
good win I don't like that but good one good win I didn't see it was that hey so is that
Winby in there because that ain't big enough I'm trying yeah because you know
it wasn't it wasn't because Wemby was on like minute restriction
What?
That's why?
I don't give a fuck out.
What?
That's not the...
No, no, I'm not saying...
No, I'm talking about the...
That was a big part of it, though.
No, I'm saying, no, I'm saying Winby being on minute...
That's a big part of the deal.
It has a lot to do with why Mitchell was able to do all that.
But that's when they're coming back, so...
It affected the outcome of the game.
Yes, the outcome for sure.
It affected the outcome of the game.
Championship is championship.
No, that's fine, but...
Okay, take the minute restriction off.
I bet you...
I just want to know who's in the thing.
Is that when because it's a little small?
little small. They don't want
to admit. Like I'm trying to figure
who's in there because he brung
that. Again. For a dead
body. So is that his wind?
He don't want to admit that I'm
more delusional
than most. I'm trying to figure out
who's in the box. Because it was
Nick's versus Spurs. He wants to know.
How about you put some water in the pot?
It's some water in the pot. Is there water?
Yeah, it's water in the pot. You need to be a little mold.
That's your burning. There is a stench.
I got a stench.
The life behind the wall.
That's what happens when you birth.
That's what happens when your boy.
Behind the wall.
You're going to know why I'm more delusional than most.
What's that again?
The big question is who's in the box?
That is the question.
It's a big question.
We will ask the chat who's the biggest in the box.
Don't ask the chat, nothing, okay?
The chat is very supportive.
That's not going to do that.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, no, it was, it definitely was.
reflected the outcome, but no, the Knicks they did what they had to do.
Mitch Robinson is, yeah, a very good offensive rebound.
I was telling Brandon before the show, like, some of the things that I just watched him
how he, how he reacts to, to offensive rebounding, right?
He got quick feet.
He makes himself very available and great time in long arms, go standing directly in front
of the rim.
I didn't watch to see what the ball going to come off with long arms so yeah no it was a good game man
it's gonna be tough they got what a solid straight nine to come off the bench so you say druggage
I was thinking more of bainer udrich I see I see I see that I seen that like the like his frame was
kind of baneau but the way he was moving was yeah I saw more both of them both of them
what's wrong with my brother he heard
All right.
Shit, he kid playing well.
See, that's that corner shit, boy.
It's whoever hot at the moment.
Y'all want to know who in the box.
Should be Josh Hart sticking his thumb in that man's.
Dude, right, left ankle sprang.
An oil check.
No, I was too busy celebrating after.
I didn't see it.
I was too busy celebrating.
Well, I didn't see it till today.
I didn't see it live.
They were on the podium, and Josh Hart appeared to give James Brunson an oil check.
Check that man, oh, man, standing up at the podium.
I'm like, where your mind got to do you?
To be you celebrating for your team.
What you mean where his mind is?
I know now where your mind is.
You showed us where your mind was.
What you mean?
Your mind that.
Your mind is with your roommate.
It's your roommate.
Oh, he showed it.
They're friends.
No, it's friends.
He's ready to know.
They're friends.
They're friends.
They're probably take baths together.
Yeah, that's just, yeah, that's probably
take baths together.
Brothers.
Same time.
Well, I ain't celebrating the next how y'all
supposed to be celebrating.
Oh, we were.
Oh, we praise them all right.
already, but dude.
I was in that smell.
You made it awkward.
I'm happy for him.
My man, George Carson.
He picked the Knit.
I picked the Knit, what?
You played good.
Your name is.
My man, George Carson got a .
You know?
I just want to know if that's a spur in the box.
I'm just saying, is that a spur?
Because that would be his team too.
So is he bodybagging his own team?
I'm trying to, I'm confused here.
Did he think we wasn't going to be in Nick?
Don't be confused.
Don't be confused.
Did he not know who played?
yesterday was both his team don't be confused don't be confused uh you killed with me off
a lot of niggas in there chopped up and screwed up this a lot of chopped and screwed niggins up in
right more than one person in the category yeah just don't be delusional about guessing who it is
don't be delusional it's my job to be delusional i'm the digger you discredit for being right
all the time all right that's me who's in the box is irrelevant just know when it's time
You will be in the box
Yeah, what is that cooking?
I got my jack in the box.
What is that?
Nigger that's in that box?
You remember.
I guess it's first.
I don't know.

He's not a young.
I mean, he's like.
Does he look like he played?
He did play for Stanford.
Did he look like he got in the game?
I'm just asking.
I'm just not telling you.
Does he look like he played college basketball
and he was out there getting buckets?
No, so no, even if he was on the team, I wouldn't know.
He played Northeast, right?
I don't know, Dick.
You said, I'm sorry.
I didn't look.
I didn't, back then, because we was in and said,

I have no idea.
No idea.
What were y'all ring?
One?
We were one, two.
We didn't look at Stanford always.
Miss Johnson played in Sanford 2005 to 2009.
Oh, yeah.
That was my...
Oh, yeah, that was your year.
That's what I remember.
I wouldn't know that.
I wouldn't know.
2005.
I was awesome.
I wasn't watching college basketball.
I watched this guy...
I watched University of Colorado play during that time.
My little brother was in school, so other than that.
I wasn't watching me.
I wasn't watching college.
I was watching me.
I was watching me.
It's a getting buckets, man.
Hey, we're back to the conversation ahead, the New York Knicks.
Is that hot dog water?
When he's the third NBA Cup title.
Yeah, uh-huh.
That's the life behind a wall, baby.
Life, hey, man.
Hey, prison pizza, ladies and gentlemen, you get a chance.
When life has to, when life hit you.
Y'all just go acknowledge you, so y'all just ain't going to acknowledge the fact that the man checked this man all.
I don't know.
Stan, is that told the story of the game?
Yeah, like, if it ain't nail polish, it's checking.
Yeah, they're celebrating on the stage, man.
No, let me say, I didn't see that part.
They celebrate on the stage.
We're not trying to violate YouTube.
Listen, they celebrate on the stage.
On finger in the gym.
Jaylen Brunson is facing this way, talk, and the man walk up behind him and motherfuckers.
Like, he's standing there celebrating the man doing, check his, like, stick his thumb in the man ass, man.
Nathan Bruns are turning around and said, not here.
Yeah, basically.
You're not doing that to Brunson.
Yeah, not here.

That's what champions do.
We're going to take over.
They want to make.
There's a championships ride.
If that's what I had to.
If that's what I had to.
to do to be a champion. I'm glad I'm not.
Hey, I'm glad I'm not. If that's what it takes the champion to be,
and tell to be a champion, I'm glad I'm on the other side of the NBA cut
criteria.
I just wish it was funny.
There's nothing funny about it.
I wish it was.
There was nothing comical about you sticking your thumb in another man's ass, man.
Did it go in?
Did it go in?
No, it didn't go in, right?
That's that, but people think it's that funny, fat boy, white boy shit.
like no we don't play those games but they did they did they did they did go to villanova they do
that's a issue that is a villain over like that's that's a that's a that's a that's a that's their
college that's what they do at villanova that's that's what they say I guess I don't
wow I went in college too I thought that's a much different school I thought it was
I got you get your eyes pre-piece what I thought that shit was real quick I'm just more worried about
the dude who don't ever show it with a girlfriend or have a girl that's all well that's the conversation
that's veered off. Let's bring it back
to us winning. To the New York
Knickerbocker's NBA Cup, World Champions
of the World. What were you?
What were you doing? Didn't tell you.
196.70 something?
196. That's even worse.
So let's talk about Jaylen Brunson. Brunson got
a lot of help from his squad throughout the NBA
Cup. But the man called the best
inch for inch offensive player
in the league by Josh Hart.
An affectionately nicknamed Domian Lillard
by his teammates for his abnormal-sized
head. Domian Lillard is apparently what they
started referring to a man.
Deer work in his three NBA cup playoff games.
Brunson averaged 33 points,
seven assists while shooting 55% from the field.
When we look at Jalen Brunson,
we talked about a little bit yesterday,
but what impress you the most about Jalen Brunson's game?
He gets it done.
I mean, you know, he is the engine of that team.
I mean, you know, you've seen it in Dallas
when he was playing aside Luca.
You know, you got 100 million.
to get to New York and, you know, from there he's really showed that he can carry a team.
And, you know, it's all hard.
When you're talking about being that small, you're talking about six foot, six foot two with shoes.
And you're out there performing a way you do every single night.
And the other team is trying to stop you every single night.
And you don't have the 42 to 44 inch vertical or the speed demon, demon attributes.
right that means you are very crafty and very skewed at what you do man and you know
he's been showing it consistently for the last you know three four years and it's amazing
nah that's not top a scoring that's another way's doing it all pegged to do that again
huh he's just he just saw done his due diligence a fun way let me just saw it so now you
now you change it's going right like being funny
You see?
So you ain't seen it either?
You see it?
You see it?
No, he did it like this.
No, he didn't do it like this, bro.
He said they called me a 4k.
He tweeted said they called me a 4K.
They called me a 4K.
Also said it was AI.
Nah, think about that.
And not our favorite.
Nah, that's not he just did that.
Nah.
Huh?
He just did that.
He's looking for some extra shit.
Look.
I don't need no extra shit.
Thumbs crumbs.
Boom.
Plane, trains, automobile.
He's not.
I've seen this.
I know you want this.
Name one nigg in the hood that played that way.
You always walk up and down the street playing.
Name one nigger in the hood that play that.
You're gonna pull me into this shit.
He know what I'm saying?
You know what I'm saying?
You turn around like,
fuck, nigger.
Fuck, nigger.
Oh, shit.
You say he had a gun on them.
A lot of cameras.
Four-kite, eight-kight, shit.
Okay, okay?
Shit, man.
Shout out to Amazon Prime.
No, but yeah.
Can we talk about our Brunson, please?
Yeah.
We're talking about it.
Okay.
We are.
The fact that he wasn't, that...
I mean, a lot of this conversation...
MVP.
Yeah.
And we talked about the MVP.
Yeah.
Did he get extra money.
And his reaction to it wasn't...
It was too normal.
Too normal.
Yeah.
It was on the stage.
Too normal.
It was on the stage.
I was on the stage.
I'm winning.
On the second grandest stage.
And I wanted to swing, but you know what I mean?
Right now.
Yeah.
Right now, gosh.
They're friends, though.
That's no.
No.
No.
So you and your friends play that way?
We do like the...
I didn't ask you that.
So you and your friends play the all checking game?
Like a...
You see this?
Y'all?
I never stuck my thumb, man.
What, right?
Looks like a thumb.
Two thumbs.
Look like two thumbs to me.
It's Brunton.
It's Brunton.
It's Brunton.
It's Brunton.
It's Brunton.
It's Brunton.
It's Brunton, though.
We're talking about two thumbs to me.
right now and it's championship we already talked about the thumb and ass you know
how and that's what champions do that's what champions do that's why they established it
that's what champions do we wouldn't know we wouldn't know nothing about that no NBA
Cup champions on this country I'm glad that's what okay I told you that all right
all right if that's what it takes Josiah didn't know can we focus on all right
all right all right let's get back to be serious to being serious
We did.
But you just saw it, right?
Yeah, that was great.
So that's where you and your friends play?
Nah, I ain't did that one yet.
I've not did that one yet.
I didn't do that one yet.
Let me see your book, Sean.
You want to put that in the book.
You put it in the back of the book.
Put that in the index, niggins.
But in all sincerity, Jaylor said,
Jaila, but you're 30 a game.
33 a game.
I already did mine. Y'all forgot?
Okay, I'm just...
Come on.
Talk about Brunsham.
The host and Nostra.
Come on.
Yeah, they're a good game.
Damn!
You broke all the motherfucking props, dog.
I ain't done it.
Did you not think we were going to start it?
We just started.
No, he didn't know.
He didn't know I was coming with the bitch.
He burned that for heart.
He already quit playing this shit.
He didn't know not out of the nigginson.
I don't want to talk.
I have no idea what's going on.
Can we give props to the shit you got on?
No.
You ain't gave no props to them.
You worried about the wrong shit.
No, I'm worried about...
You were worried about the wrong shit.
Do I need to go change?
So you can just go against me?
You didn't want...
When he asked the question in person,
you made it come all the way over here to see what I was going to say.
I'm saying the same shit you want to say.
I don't even know you up there.
Bruns and good.
Why would I be worried about what you say?
Brushing good.
Whatever you say, I'm going with you.
What a fuck.
what I'd be worried about what she's saying.
Can I get a bowl?
I want some of that goddamn hot dog water.
Carolin.
Hot dog water.
I don't need a bowl.
Give me a cup.
Carolyn.
I want some of the hot dog water too.
The last time we texted.
It was 78%, right?
78%.
Why would I be worried about what you never?
There is a second of the chat known as the 70% of it.
Why would I be worried about what you're going to say?
You what you say and what I say are drastically on two differences.
the spectrum. And that's why I'm saying what you're saying.
And if I'm at 78 percent, guess where you are?
78 percent.
On the other end.
On the other end.
Whatever percentage you are on.
78 me.
I'm with you today.
Gil is on the other end of 78.
What's that?
Can we ask the chat, is it obvious?
Are we put you back to chat?
No, I'm with you today.
Come on, you can't have to be with me a day.
Then bump your gun.
You got the bag.
It's the bag.
No, it's just other people in here right now.
It's other shit to address.
It's other shit to address.
It's other shit to the dress.
There's some of those people
that are trying to admire
Larry.
He ain't going to be able to use his stops today.
He can't help him on this.
He can't help him on this.
He can't try some of that.
You want to try some of this?
Huh?
Ooh, that's a little.
That's a temperature of Larry.
Look, y'all niggas is dead.
Y'all have got your New York shit on.
He said, hey, chat, is it obvious?
We're asking the process.
We're asking each other.
Hey, Jack, look at him gaslighting.
Hey, this is what the nigger do when he can't win.
This is what the niggins do.
He got a friend.
That's what they do.
Y'all said.
You got a friend.
Hey, y'all said, Jack.
You got a friend.
He said all day yesterday moving around, the delusional thing.
We don't know what to say.
He had his book print.
Oh, he's going to say this.
I'm going to say.
Where's BJ?
Where is the delusion?
Whatever you say, I'm saying.
It is my seat now.
It's the delusional.
Yeah, I'm going to be delusional with you.
No, you ain't sitting on the head.
You're sitting in the dead man seat.
I'm waiting for you.
You sitting in the dead man seat.
You ain't never changed your seat.
That's why you ain't never won.
You talked.
You started off.
Had you took your maids?
I haven't heard you talk hoop shit.
Is you take your meds yet?
Right.
You took the meds?
Right.
He said, let's talk oom.
He got the ice on his knee.
He doesn't have to be nice.
Right, remember, let's talk hoops.
He don't know what to say
because everybody said the same thing.
No.
Everybody's going for the Knit.
No, we were talking about the old thing.
When we're talking about the oil change?
He really thought somebody was going on in the first.
Because I'm not a Knicks fan no more because of the old.
Oh.
Yeah.
Me?
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah, I didn't like that.
So we don't matter.
Oh, so we're not.
Oh, so we're not in the car.
I like that.
I like that.
I like.
So it don't matter.
What if they change the air filter.
No, man, I like the game.
I'm just, what I'm talking about what Brousson did, man.
That's great.
I like the game.
I got the jersey on, man out there where, I ain't Brunsett.
You keep doing your motherfucking thing, man.
Hell yeah, brother.
Take that thing.
You know?
Nope.
Yeah.
Pop the Molly, I'm sweating.
Boom!
He has so much competition with me.
Y'all can see it.
We always said it's me and you versus them.
Can y'all see it?
It's me and you.
Yeah, y'all see it?
And y'all see it?
He won't argue to be so bad.
He got a mic up to see.
I want some of you today.
It's me and you.
We match it.
We match it.
It's me and you.
I'm sorry.
Y'all look at him.
He got to get my energy.
He got to get mine.
Do it.
Do it, Gil.
Yeah.
Do it, yeah.
Yeah, do it.
Get that some of that pop-line.
Do it.
Do it again.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He can't get it.
It still ain't did that, boy.
He still he did that, boy.
He still weird.
He feels weird.
He feels weird.
He's not.
He feels weird to them.
He's not going to point.
He's not weird.
He's not weird.
He's not.
He's not.
He's not.
He don't know what to do today.
Hey, man.
He don't know what to do today.
Hey, man,
you've been doing that way.
Oh, man.
Listen.
You, it's too much.
You know, it's too much.
Y'all, y'all, y'all got it today, man.
Yeah, it is my fucking.
Y'all got it today.
I got you.
Man, no, for real.
Oh, you know what I say?
You don't want no cheese.
They got one.
You got one.
You got one.
And it's some legs and shit.
Put your legs in the box.
In the box.
In the box.
No, he's been fucking people.
I'm telling you, just scream.
All you got to do is, ah, fuck, shit.
That's when you get mad.
I'm telling you.
There's going to stop.
That's what you and me.
You're going to make you change.
Change me, change.
You're going to make you do some other shit.
Man, come on, man.
You know what the energy is, nigga is.
We stand in with Larry.
What the energy is, niggas.
So we asked the chat.
You know what the fucking energy is.
We asked the chat, is it obvious.
You got to be Clarkson.
We got to be.
We asked the chat, is it obvious?
82% said yes.
How many?
82%?
We went for.
We went for.
We went.
Never lost.
We will go.
48%.
That's a loss.
That's a loss.
82%.
He's going to knock that over with that game.
I see it happening.
He's crazy.
I told you all before the, we officially began this show.
It was going to be a wild day here in Gilzorina presented by underdog.
Whoa, whoa.
Whoa.
80% is insanity.
They don't even know what is it obvious.
Yeah, I do.
They don't even know what it needs.
They'd be like, hey, man, check.
Tell me what the fuck this.
You don't know what the fuck this thing.
He's making you talk.
He's making you talk to your stuff.
He's making you talk to your stuff.
I don't even know what the fucking means.
But the chat know what it means.
Because they all vote.
Oh, shit.
Yes, 82%.
Rashad.
Why are you doing this to them like this?
This is insane.
They're not the 80.
It's insane.
84?
The 82 percenters.
Come on, man, let's talk about the Cooper Flag.
Not quite yet.
I never thought I heard you say that, Swaggy.
But, okay, Knicks.
This didn't go away.
I've not won an NBA championship since 1973.
Proved to have what it takes to win on a big stage, but not the biggest stage yet.
Is this Nick's squad a legit threat to win a chip as currently constructed?
Legit?
Yeah, I think they could come out to east for sure.
Has anybody ever won both?
I'm about saying, has anybody ever won both the end-season?
They have not, only been three.
The Lakers won the first year, Bucks won last season.
The Knicks are the third team to win the NBA Cup.
I'm not going to overreact still December, so.
It's December, but.
I'm going to say no.
You know Nick's fans.
Yeah, they will overreact after a season opening win.
Oh, yeah, definitely.
So, but they have a, to build on what they did last year is expected.
Right?
You got a different coach when you had success with the previous coach.
It didn't look the way everybody wanted it, but it was still successful.
You bring in a different voice.
Same unit, so to speak, I have Jordan Clarkson, which I think is going to be helpful.
Having a healthy Mitchell Robinson has proven to be very productive and useful.
Yeah, no. So, and those guys don't have to play the heavy load that they did, and I think
which would be helpful come late season and playoffs. So, yeah, no. But it's December. This helps
build confidence winning on this stage, of course. But, yeah, you want to see how they continue
to grow under Mike Brown. Once his voice, like, really resonates in that locker room
and they really take on his identity as a coach. And when him and Jalen Brunson,
together what they can put together and lead them yeah so we'll see but it's like I
said it is December so let's not over react shot you were a fan of the Knicks
obviously some current events but still I feel like you still have a lot of love
with the team for most of the players on that's come a long way have come a long way
second in the eastern commerce right now 18 and 7 obviously this game did not count
towards the winter loss record but still second in the east right now like I
I said before, they got a lot, they got a lot to build on.
Get McBride back, it helped them a lot.
Mitchell Robinson catching his stride a little bit more,
what helped them a lot.
Cat really still ain't really playing the best basketball he can play yet.
And I think that's the big thing.
And then they didn't even really have McHale Bridges most of the second half.
You really think about that.
To come out on top without having full strength is a lot.
It says a lot about them.
says a lot about Mike, says a lot about the New York energy that was in the building.
There was a lot of that in there.
And to have New York, you know, have that energy back in basketball is a definite positive for the NBA,
definitely for the whole state, but in particular the city.
So something to build on.
It's a proud moment for them.
I know William Wesley and Leon Rose are very proud.
Or the job they've been doing and trying to really paint a picture.
Call that man by his Ford.
William.
Yeah, William.
I'm going to say Uncle West.
No, I ain't got to call him.
Uncle.
But, you know, it's one of those things where the future is bright and it's a matter of time.
So you like this roster as constructed.
Absolutely.
A lot of trade talks going on around the league.
The only person that makes sense for you to get better is Johnny, so I don't
like that's
calling what it is
if you get
if you can trade
for yon it
it increases
your fucking chances
of winning
drastically
I feel like that
for a lot of teams
obviously
yeah with him
you add him
with a good
roster already
that's playing
yeah that's the obvious
thing
but as constructed
yeah like I said
this December
they're playing well
they're jelling together
but let's move over
to our current
only Nick's fan
on the couch
mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-
No, Shottis said that current situations with the team.
I agree.
I don't like that shit at all.
But to your question, to your question, you know, you got to go with history.
You last, what, four or five years, whoever lost in the Eastern Carpins finals, right, went to the championship the very next year.
So history says they should be in the championship this year.
You know, they just got to play their part, do what they do.
They should be there, but do they have enough to win four of those seven games?
I think so.
Yeah.
I mean, you know, when you get there, is still who are you facing?
And are you playing championship basketball during that time, right?
And, you know, they played against the Spurs team who probably had the most confidence
because they just beat last year's champions, NBA champions to get here.
So, you know, we sat on here yesterday talking about.
about is that a rival for that same team to lose to the Knicks?
So, you know, I'm pretty sure the Knicks is happy
with, you know, their performance,
and that's gonna carry them on.
So, you know, it's up to them now.
Mr. B, Brandon James, former New York, Nick?
I don't think they have enough to win it.
I just feel like once it comes down to it,
I feel like cats gonna come up missing.
And we've seen that throughout the years
and things like that.
And I still feel like if you put a bigger guard
on Brunson, towards the end.
end of the year and you start trapping them, you'll have different results. But they do
have a good team. I do like Mike Brown, but I just don't think that they have enough with
Kat. Well, I think they got enough to win it for sure. I think their players, their corners are
a little better than from last night, a little better than OKC corners. You think the Knicks
have bitter? Corner dudes, for sure. They got guys that could change the game better than
and okay see and you know Mike Brown did something that last coach didn't do so
far you know in season tournament they get that they ain't gonna hang a banner but
shit they won you know they celebrated last night I like that New York fans
really come out too like it's a college field like they all come out and support
I know last night in Vegas was crazy that thumb was only the beginning
hey it went further that's night boy you think the Knicks you think the Knicks you think the
You think the Knicks bench is better than OKC bench?
I said you think the Knicks bench.
What?
What did you say?
Nothing.
He said it out loud.
Did he say it out loud?
Anything can happen when you part of Nick.
That's insane.
Did he trials?
You know, documentary?
There's a lot of things going on right now.
New York.
It's a New York thing.
It's a New York thing.
It's a New York thing.
Let's talk about the banner situation.
So, Lakers bucks both won NBA Cup, both hung banners.
I don't think the Knicks bench is better than OKC's bench.
If the Knicks had a recent championship, they would hang it.
They played.
Yeah.
That's to my point.
Having won a championship, I believe, what, 53 years, 52 years since 1973.
Other two teams, Lakers and Bucks both opted to hang.
NBA Cup championship banners, Lakers obviously won their first.
They won one in this fucking century.
So they have more that they're looking for.
They won't one in this century, so.
You guys respect the Knicks for not acknowledging the NBA
acknowledging the NBA Cup.
But it goes to it with the league
trying to make the excitement
and the allure of this
event
and then basically saying
the exciting thing
is the bonus.
Yeah.
$530,000.
What they're playing for?
The bonus.
Like we get that
playing for the money.
And the court.
So that's $5.30
after taxes or before?
Surely Uncle Sam
will come in and take a nice
big bite out of that $5.30.
And how much more do the MVP?
$2.70 taking home.
Extra shit on his contract
when he re-ups.
So, yeah.
So, Gia, was,
y'all know i'm not 100% sure it is but i think i know mike brown as a coach when he was
his assistant and a few spots that he's had been the head coach what was his like is he
an offensive coach defensive coach but i was on the impression he was a defensive mind
it was kind of shifted with the kings i think they had the top office he was he was with he was
with Cleveland.
Yeah.
He was with, he was, he was with, he was with, he was with, he was with Cleveland.
See, I see what that got him.
That's funny.
And you see where that got him.
Fired.
Mawfucking fired.
So, he's with Cleveland.
I mean, for the most of them, it was, it was running, he was running, he was running
gun.
That Kobe team.
It was, it was running gun.
I mean, it was, I mean, defense too, but, I mean.
I'm just trying to think with time with the Warriors, I think.
Yes, that's what I said.
I don't know.
I think he's, I think he's, I think he's,
He's a hybrid goal.
He's an office.
So I'm trying to think.
Yeah.
I think it's always been.
If you think about it, none of them teams he was coaching played defense.
Nah.
The Lakers.
That team did not play defense.
Why he got fired?
I know, but the Warriors did.
Did I say it right?
Did I say that word?
Implement.
You did?
You got it right.
You feel me?
Growing.
Growing.
So what I'm getting that is growing.
So what I'm getting that is in the playoff series, like what is, will he be able to make the
adjustments defensively when series get tough and things are not going that's what I'm
that's what I'm getting at with that I just don't know what is what his thing like
but I mean who runs the defense let's be honest it's if you if if they are falling behind
on defense because of Mike Brown something should be wrong with them okay because
they've been under a straight defense of course so they already know the principle
yeah the logics of defense they can
They don't need Mike Brown to call plays.
They've done this for a while.
But you don't need a defense of coach to tell you how to clog shit up and do this and do that.
So, you know, if they're falling apart on defense, it's because they just don't want to anymore.
I got you.
That's how I look at.
Accountability type of thing.
That's what I was going to.
That's what I was going to.
That's what I was saying.
You really think about if you was listening to the huddles, he was basically just telling them, listen, one position at a time.
Just make our runs, stop their runs.
You know, let's move the ball.
But I think when you look at who they got on their team defensively, O.G. plays defense, Bridges plays defense.
Hart. Mitchell and Hart play defense.
You look at Brunson where he don't play as much defense, but he still can keep his body in front of you.
He'll let you go, but think about who he letting you go to.
Pat and Mitchell, right?
He'll liability because his height.
But so was McBride.
McBride are the same, but McBride actually played.
Where did he go to school at?
Philanova.
McBride.
Where did he go?
He went to Cincinnati?
West Virginia.
Oh, West Virginia.
Yeah, he got the dog.
He played for Bob Huggins.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
So Brunson knows where to.
But he's from Cincinnati.
And how to do it, but he's conservative.
He's conservative energy.
For sure.
That's what he more thinks about now.
You want to go out here going to.
You want to go play for him.
Yeah.
I like that.
I like that.
Born 2000.
I like trust the whole team.
He played.
everybody yeah he plays people like that's the I don't think we would have never seen what's the
former last year with the other coach oh yeah cold it yeah yeah we never seen him like I think
but sham it if you think about it if sham it not hurt you probably wouldn't see him either yeah
carolick from Rhode Island and they're doing it I'm saying he's left-handed so you the guys on
the bench get used to playing with the left-handed guard that's dominant left so it's those
things that you got to look at what I'm saying why he's on the floor at times he's
hitting shots he's playing what he hit shots oh he's confident his confidence he played
well you know I like that but you think about the scratch teams though I like if we talk
if we talk who those two teams made the NBA for a brief a moment something to watch what
last night was something to watch it wasn't no blowout they both play hard they got up
down and what I loved is
how Vassel
Harper and Castle took the challenge
of guarding Brunson
They made it tough on them
All night
A kid that was in Portland
Champagne
Yeah he was playing good too
And he kept
He was trying to target him
But he was trying to switch him off like I got him
His big body
Yeah he did a good job
Yeah he did a great job
I was surprised about that
No yeah he did a good job
He didn't hit no fucking shots
He hit a couple early
Not late though he had a couple early
But he out there for defense probably.
I was this one, Harris and Guards.
Because they should have played, well, one kid out, I think.
Sohan.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't sometimes think he might be hurt.
Yeah, but if he out, he's a deal like, because he play hard, he defend.
Harrison Ball has got to step up.
No.
They were saying Harrison Barnes could guard Brunson.
You see what happened last night.
Six.
Pop, bop, bop, bop.
Every time it was in front of him.
I said a younger Bronson.
Oh.
He's a younger.
Harrison Barnes.
I said a younger Harrison Brun.
That's style 6-7.
And who did they put that 6-7 on them?
Champany.
That's all you got to do.
I'm telling you.
That's why I said the nigga.
All right.
I mean, 11 for 27, right?
That's good defense.
That's a good defense.
For a guy who's going to put a bigger guard on him.
That's good at you.
All 27 times.
Right, you gave yourself a chance to win.
If the best player goes, 11 for 27, gave yourself a chance.
And you look at what you're giving up.
You giving up.
You giving up the 11, 20, for 27, you're giving up OG, who's.
Drop the 28.
28 ball where you're not thinking.
Where is he getting on.
all his points.
Five and ten from three.
Dirk talked about helping to win a shooting before the game.
As a star, do that.
Like, mess with your confidence.
Like, because Harper was playing well, I feel like they took Fox out the game.
Like, it's gonna be like that all year.
I feel like.
I think they're confused on what they want to do.
Yeah, like, I feel bad for Fox.
He getting a tail end.
My bad, well, he can't.
No, I just think, I think.
No, I think they think they're better than what they are.
Like, I really think they have.
Because they think they have four guards that are very high level, which they do, but two are still young.
Right?
So you're sacrificing, I, I, it all depends on what your goal is because I know at some point, if you think Harper is your future, you're going to have to sacrifice minutes for him to get him.
There's no point of waiting for two years or three years.
You got to give him time now.
But if you look at, even last game, they didn't shoot very well as a team.
I think they shot, what, 41% in a semi-game, and then they shot 41% last night,
so it's not like their offense is clicking as they would think, right?
They're holding people because they got wimby back there,
but they do need to figure out their offense aside because they didn't play
offense very well these last two years.
Who's playing well?
This is why the question of what you're doing right now, I'm going to answer it for you
from my perspective.
From watching them from the beginning of the season, who's playing?
Well is outsourcing Fox is Vassell. Vassel and Castle on the on the court at the same time.
Castle my favorite player now allows them to play big guard with Castle being the facilitator.
He had eight assists in the first quarter. So you look at that, Vassel shooting the ball, lights out.
So you bring champagne in, you got three guards. Now you look at Fox when we talked about when
Wimby went down, his turnovers went up. But
But Castle's assists went up because we got a guy that's going to score.
So if we're not going to get defense out of you, Fox, Dylan Harper, step up to the plate.
Now, what we've seen last night at Dylan Harper, he had, what, four threes?
I think he had four threes.
Those threes are under duress.
All those threes are pressure threes, and he's showing resilience to play defense on, like, he's really playing defense.
But you don't take Fox.
Five for seven from three.
I used, like, everybody just credit Fox once Harper get going.
Like, Fox still had, what, 16 to 9 or something like that?
On limited shots, thinking, not trying to attack when he wanted to attack, you know,
was holding him back a lot.
I feel like he had opened spots where he could have attacked the lane, but he stopped
and drivel back.
We're in the ultimate team dynamic right now, where we don't need you to take it upon yourself
to prove that you can do anything.
But one guy's friend freely.
Which is who?
Harper.
He could make his mistake.
I'm working with nothing just out there shooting.
I like how aggressive.
That was your position too when you came in the game.
Do let me do me.
Let me do me.
So when Fox is in the game, you have to do you while you're in the game.
Because when this young nigga come in, he might outshine you based on what we need at the time.
So it shouldn't be confidence because he's a very very important.
because he's a vet, he's an all-star.
This is not the dynamic at the Kings.
This is a championship organization
that we are willing to accept your application
as being a guy we need you to be.
Not trying to come in here and change the dynamic
of what we've been doing.
But still you got to be you at some point.
Like, he's still average.
Remember, we said early in the season,
he's still trying to figure out
what this group is exactly, right?
And remember, what did Wemby say?
Ethical.
You're in a lot of ethical basketball
So when they got Deering Fox
They didn't
Think they were going to be in Harper?
Yeah, they didn't know you were the second pick
To be able to draft out in Harper
So now he's the best available
On the board
Yep, there you go
So now you have to take him
Now the conversation
Becomes with Deer and Fox
Like, hey, we got the second
pick in the draft
Y'all just so happened to play the same position
We got to five minutes for him
We got the rookie of the year
That can probably play off the ball
at times, but he's good with the ball
in his hands. So
now those conversations with
Darren Fox gets a little tougher
if they're having those, but
because you got two really
good young guys with the ball.
You've made a name for yourself, Darren Fox, but you
got these two up-and-coming
guys who we picked high.
This is a little Tony Park. When did they
expand Fox? After they got
Hardberg? This year. This summer.
Oh, after. And remember, they
had CP on the team last year.
Because he got hurt.
Yeah, like, why extend him when, I don't know.
They didn't know they were going to get Harper.
But they extended him after they got Harper.
You remember I was saying when they extended him?
2025.
I said Harper could get pushed win.
He can get pushed further in the draft because the teams that have that, they already have guards.
Remember I said those guys have guards.
So I was saying they should have rid of the defunders early.
No, see, why you want to get, that's the stuff.
Yeah, my bad.
Because they have a problem.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So they, the draft happens.
They picked Harper and then extended him in August.
What you mean?
Because we don't know what Harper.
We don't know what Harper brings to the table.
You know what Harper.
No, he don't.
But if they need to work with a rookie.
First of all, first of all, Nick, he did one year in college.
He was nice.
He did one year in college.
And he's a rookie head, has not played one game.
We have Deerrin Fox, who is going to be healthy this season.
He didn't play all season.
We picked up CP3 to take over his.
this spot while he's down. So now, C.P. gone. He's healthy. We have to extend him.
Because what happens if Harper don't come out and do what are you doing now?
I think Devon is out.
Yeah.
Devin Harper?
What's up?
Devin, yeah.
I mean, because I think...
That's a low number, though.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
What I'm saying is once you extended him, right, and then you got Harper.
Remember, Harper's big. Harper's 6-6.
You can put him at the 3.
Right now you got 6-3, 6-4, 6-6 at your 1.
two and three, right?
That's the guard play you plan now
with Harper comes up by the bench.
Castle 6'7.
With his shoes on.
So now Harper's the same.
Yeah, for sure.
So now you got Harper and Castle at the
two, three with
Fox.
That seems like that's for their future,
but.
But Castle is more of a facilitator
than Deering Fox.
Yes.
So you want him at the one.
But you need a Vassel.
You need a Vassel who's going to hit shots,
defend.
My real point guard might be...
I think the real point guard is just...
Don't tear down.
I think there's a real point guard...
Where's the tear down?
Like, everybody said, get rid of Fox.
Like, you don't want to hear that.
We just said...
I know you didn't say that.
This motherfucker said that to my...
I bet.
I know, but he's been...
Once I saw Dylan Harper plant, I say, yo, Fox's gone on in a year or two.
So you don't want to hear that shit as a...
Somebody that's got a serious.
Good problems for the Spurs to have it.
Yeah.
And that's what I was about to say.
Think about the organization.
Think about the organization that actually keeps pieces like this.
Despite what y'all saying.
Okay, see what you're in the position, right?
Right.
Despite saying, all right, we need to get rid of one of y'all.
Let's just say, no, let's fucking keep this fucking core together.
Yilling, you come off the bench, you're going to do your thing.
Maybe we start you sometimes.
Fox, you come off.
If you can all accept your role, remember, who accepted their role in the Spurs back in the day?
That's back in the day.
Manu, you know.
That's money today.
Why did he do that?
Because it's the team, the sake of the team.
This is what Pop feels like it should be starting.
Such as such to start.
So why?
So, all right.
So, so soon as a, hey, three minutes after, three minutes into the first quarter, get your ass out, Bruce.
Manu, come in here, finish the first.
Yeah, one shot up, one shot.
Hey, listen, we don't need that much defense, my nigga.
You can just relax.
Too much money today.
But it's just, if Fox want to buy into championship basketball, I think they stay put.
And he didn't buy into it.
All right, well, a lot more to discuss.
We'll keep monitoring the Spires this season,
see what they end up doing.
But very, very good start for San Antonio to begin this season.
Whoa.
We're talking about the Knicks, man.
They won the championship.
What's wrong with you?
Yeah, we've moved on.
Thumbs up.
In the sky.
In the sky.
In the sky, thank you.
It was very unnecessary.
All right, but let's keep this thing moving.
I mean, he just said you look like a thumb.
They have called me thumb face, toe face.
I've never called me broke boy though.
It cannot do.
What is your thumb go though?
Right on this computer.
Like a thumb with eyes, bro.
That's what they say.
But let's keep this thing moving.

team, a player doing some big things over there. Mavs are still a hot pack of buns so far this
season. But Cooper Flagg continues to impress in his rookie campaign. Money against the Jazz. Flagg
added some history to his resume. Let's take a look at that.
Flag dropped a new career high, finishing with 42 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists in the overtime loss,
going 13 to 27 from the field, 15 for 20 from the line.
Now the first and only 18-year-old with a 40-point game in NBA history
surpassing LeBron's previous record of 37 back in 2003.
Flagg also just the third teenager in NBA history to drop 45 and 5 in a game joining KD and LeBron.
now has the third most point scored by a player before turning 19,
trailing only Kobe and LeBron.
The flag has up to two more game before celebrating his 19th birthday,
trails Kobe by 60 points for second place.
In his last seven games, been extremely impressive,
averaging 26 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists,
shooting 55% from the field.
Very big in this fourth quarter,
even though the Mazz were unable to get the win,
did not have Anthony Davis in the game, but it did have Cooper flag.
America is back, baby.
America, white America?
He needs 60 points to do what?
To pass Kobe for second place and points for an 18-year-old.
Total points for that.
Oh, at 18.
But Kobe did have significantly more games than Cooper Flag to a company.
So he needs only 60 points and two more games.
Oh, he's not going to do that.
60 points behind Kobe.
You can't do that.
Total points for an 18-year-old.
It's a thing.
Kobe, I think, drafted at 17, right?
He came off the bench, though.
It don't matter.
It's a thing.
He had it.
It's a record.
Oh, yeah.
That's the way you're worried me.
What's the name is going to let him get that?
Jason Kidd.
Jason Kidd is going to make it.
He's going to try it for sure.
There's two games, yeah.
How are we worried.
What was it incorrect about the wording?
When is his birthday?
This Sunday.
Oh, so that's his idea.
Two games against 60?
Twenty first.
He needs 16 points
60
Oh
He ain't got it
As a basketball coach
30 and 2 games
You're gonna try
You're gonna try
If you play both of those games
You will
Yeah he gonna get this shit
I'll put a shot on it
I'll put a shot on it
I don't drink them more
Me neither
But shit changed around here
New York has changed your life
Motherfucking water
My hot dog water
The way you been
And that hot dog water shit
That's better too cup
You see it calmed us both down
What's in it, medicinal?
No, it's the noodles, man.
That shit, tickle y'all's belly, huh?
Tickle your little belly, huh?
Tickle, tickle, hot dog water.
Ha ha ha ha!
All of a fucking sunny, hot dog water's funny.
You motherfuckers kill me.
No, he drunked it.
He said it calmed both of y'all down.
Yeah, I'm sure it did.
Ticklew me.
Commer's telling that goddamn box.
You can't see shit, but darkness.
You better be calm
when you have a heart attack
But back to Cooper Flag
You got surprised to see Cooper Flag
Turning the corner
Offensibly so quickly
Nope, not at all
In this NBA?
18 years old
No, fuck it
In this NBA
When there's no resistance
Shit, no, he's good
And he's good, skilled
offensively
He got a motor
First of foremost, he's skilled
Offensive
I didn't know he was that skill
I'm not allowed
Yeah, no
I didn't know that
I thought he just had the motor
And he could like
I'm back
Listen, before he went to Duke,
Hey, before he went to Duke, I saw him, I'm like, oh, yeah, he got to.
He's going to be out.
That's why he tried it, though.
The main event.
Yeah, but then, yeah, no, so with a motor skill and, and, yeah, you're going to have those games when it's wide open to where it is, with that skill set.
Yeah, absolutely.
So we talked pretty much.
And the lack of in-season defense that's being played, yeah.
We talk previously about Jason kids, start.
flag out of the season and point guard, but using it to help, you know, get him through
some of these growing pains flag at a minute he didn't necessarily like doing it and not put it
the way you're helping. That ain't at all. That ain't the way you help him. This is how you
help him right here. Put him in this goddamn position. I didn't play basketball. What position is
that? Not the point guard. Not the point guard. Somebody said that.
Yeah, I don't know. Somebody said that. Yeah, I can't remember. That should was a mistake.
Yeah, I said it. I was a mistake. Yep, I liked it. Yeah. Dunn at 18.
What the fuck?
You know, our team suck.
I mean, Kyrie down.
Why not?
Put them at the way.
I get what you're saying.
I get what you're saying.
So big.
That's fine.
That's mine, too.
I get what you're saying.
I get what you're saying.
Why not after how many games they didn't play?
So 25 games, why not after 25 games to experiment with that?
Not the first.
You think let them get comfortable.
I agree with, but experiment with the position with him because of his skill set, yes.
But not right out the gate.
Let him get his feet with.
with some games first, and then put this on his plate.
Because our point guard went down, right?
So the fact that our point guard went down and then Anthony Davis stopped playing, right?
And we have, yeah, we got, guess what?
Old sand, hey, the old saying, don't make my problems, your problem.
It ain't, it ain't no problem.
At the end of the day, at the end of the day, it's going to be on my kid, though, right?
Don't do that.
Don't make your mind.
I know back the end of the day, the coach, he's going to take the fall for this.
He's 18 years old.
At the end of the day, it's helped.
Look at the way he's playing now
I'm saying it went the other way though, right?
That ain't helped.
How does it not help, though?
Because it's fucked with him mentally.
So that means I can read defenses at the one position
where at the end of the day,
people at my size are playing the one now.
There's no more Chris Falls.
I just told you all that.
So the point guards are 6'6 and...
So hear me out.
I'm agreeing with...
Listen, I'm agreeing with the experimental part of it.
Yeah.
Sure.
Right.
The timing of the experimental thing.
is the issue, right?
We suck.
No.
But you don't know that.
We ain't play no games yet.
No, Kyrie, Irving, none of our players, we have nothing.
Why not just this is here?
I mean, what's the difference?
It's a big difference.
We put D-Lo after one.
What's the difference?
We're the same thing.
We're 10 or 17.
What difference does it make?
But admittedly comes out his fucking with his mental.
It's fucking with him.
So why would you do that?
Out of his own mouth.
Out of his mouth.
How?
He said it.
He said it.
He said it.
It's fucking with his mental.
I don't want the responsibility of playing point guard.
I never done this before, man, it shocked me.
His words.
That's what I'm saying.
He didn't have nobody else.
Okay, so he doesn't like a challenge then.
No, so you're missing a point.
No, I'm asking, but you don't like this.
So why I'm not telling you, I'm going to take this fall for this?
Just go play the one and let's see what it is.
I didn't really honest and look what it's doing with you.
They don't go talk shit about you.
That's fine.
They talk shit about Jesus.
They talk shit about anybody.
They did talk shit about anybody.
They go always talk shit about Jesus.
They go always talk shit about Jesus.
It's a challenge and it's something different.
It did not hurt him.
It did not hurt him.
Only people that were talking shit
was the people on the couch
that don't like him.
He said it.
That's it.
Nobody was talking shit.
Nobody cared.
He said it.
He said it.
The only people that was complaining
you were in this motherfucker
because he 18.
Why is he 18?
Why is he 18?
Because he 18.
That's excuse.
That's all you are you.
And that 18 show when he was the point guard.
And I'm not with you.
I'm not with you.
I'm not with you on this.
But I'm saying they did that.
after the fourth game when he only had two against the defending champs.
No, no, no.
That's when he did that when he only had two.
Joe, sorry.
Because every game after that, he was falling before, but I'm not with you,
motherfucker.
I know, I'm with them.
What position?
I went, damn.
You're right?
Because if you take out, just the one game he had bad this whole season, he
averaged 17, and then the next eight games at small forward, he average 17.
But we're not going to say that, because I'm not with you.
He finally got the rookie to your back.
He finally got rookie to your back.
I'm with him.
He got a rookie.
He had 42 points.
I'm with that experimental part of him.
I'm cool with it, but let him get four, five games.
Yeah, yeah, put this in his, that's all right.
Then he have 30-some points.
Because he's come out there, motherfuckold with a different bond.
He did a little.
And he's trying to find his own shit right away like that.
That's all I'm saying.
The number one pick, I'm expected to play well.
And then you put this on me, and I'm like, oh, shit.
I'm out there with fucking plate time.
I'm like, yeah.
Please, go.
You have 35 on the clippers.
He had 35 points against the clip.
playing the three.
Yeah, I'll win him.
Then he had 42 points.
The three.
So when he plays the...
I mean, he had two points, he was playing the point.
He ain't had two points since he been playing.
He ain't had nowhere close to that.
Oh, okay.
True position.
Give us some smoke, nigga.
No, don't get no.
No, I want some smoke.
No, no, you're going to smoke.
Man, 18 and 6 in his first game, 22, 4 and 4 against the Rappers
in the second game.
That's why you don't let kids.
That's why you don't let kids.
He is, play the one.
I was the one, just now I didn't know how to do it.
I was the one.
18, the first game, 22, 4, and 4 against the Raptors at second game.
This was why he was playing in the primary point.
Then had that two-point game against the Thunder, which is the Thunder.
But I'm saying, his words.
I'm just saying he had two double-doubles in his first five games.
Since then, he's only had one.
But I'm going with them.
Okay.
Right?
So he had two double-doubles first five games.
He said it out of his own.
No, no, no, I'm just saying.
How are you going to tell him what he's saying?
I'm with you.
I said, I know what he's saying, but I'm saying the stats.
35 and 42.
Right, so I know mentally he felt like it's uncomfortable.
Statistically, how he was playing as a point guard,
if you take away the one bad game that he had out of all the games,
he's doing the same thing.
Now he's just getting comfortable.
But all they're doing now is saying,
you're not the point they're just giving it the ball at half court and he's coming
down doing the same thing he was doing before like i said it's don't it's just
he's going to be bringing the ball he brings the ball up he doesn't he brings the ball up anyway
so the first conversation we're like exactly that's exactly what he's going to just let him do his thing
his confidence that's all he did say the whole time he could do it now cover this now so
what's somebody off in something they don't know what the fuck they're doing for the first time
First game.
What?
What?
So you don't think they were doing that in training camp?
You just think, so you don't think they were doing that in training camp or practice at all.
It didn't work.
It didn't work in training camp.
Remember, so one game, so the first game of the season, yo, bro, you're going to start.
They didn't practice that at all or nothing?
No, they did.
They did.
Okay.
But my thing is, what's the issue then if we already bring it to your attention?
Because guess what, Brandon?
Because he said, I don't like it.
When you walk in the practice facility, when you do this, what you smell?
Nothing.
And the practice facility?
No, no popcorn.
When you walk in the arena.
Popcorn popping.
That smelled a kernel.
Popcorn, dude, that's talking about it.
Real hoop for shit.
Real hoop for shit.
The lights a little bright.
That's what you're saying.
But him, it's a mental game.
That's all I'm saying.
It's a mental game.
Playing the five average in 20, 28 and 12.
He don't want to play it because it's uncomfortable for him.
And then he goes to the four,
28 and 10.
This is better.
Yeah, it's that shit.
It's that.
It's that.
But what's the difference between that?
It's a big, nothing.
The difference is two different positions.
I'm breaking them.
It's two different positions.
And the age.
The five and the four is two different positions.
That's my AD was complaining.
What do you do?
I don't want to play this fucking position.
I want to play this position.
Because I can do more here.
What do what are doing the rookies when they came in?
I'm going to break you.
I'm trying to break you to some difference.
So you're going to break your number one pick?
Bro, obviously it didn't.
Jason Ken, Jason kid did say the motor.
behind playing a Cooper flag of point guard
would help him later on the season.
Yes, he got back when he saw.
This is later on in the season.
This is what I'm saying.
Give the ball.
Come March April.
He said that after he started playing good.
No, he did it.
This is weird.
This is weird.
We did this because.
Nick, shut up.
No, he said he wanted to
get that shit after I started saying,
Jason kid, this is some bullshit, right?
Niggas heard all of the shit I was saying.
This is some bullshit.
Jason Kit.
Jason Kit, hopefully a subscriber
of Gil's Arena presented by Underdog, Woo-Woo.
Hey, listen.
That hate ain't nothing, but congratulations for me.
I love it.
Up trending, my nigga.
Everybody's listening to Gil's Arena.
Oh, okay, yeah, Gil's Arena.
Oh, okay, yeah.
But, yeah, but Jay Kid is smart, man.
He knows how to get the best out of players.
And, but yeah, like I said, just for Cooper's flagged mental
to hear the term point guard is what we were saying, right?
If you were just, listen, we're going to put the ball in your hand.
That's up, we're going to put the ball in your hand without telling him,
listen, you're going to play point guard.
And listen, we'll put the ball in your hand and go play basketball.
Let me shake your hand, man.
I'm glad it ain't enough.
You know, we've had a breakthrough here.
Oh, man.
Finally.
Finally.
He's a griggle.
He's a gring with that.
We were said.
That's what we said a long time ago.
We said he said, you went up at a different time.
You don't get it.
You take away the notion of playing point guard.
I said point guard, the word point guard is what's messing him up.
If you just do what he's doing the same thing he did when he was the point guard, just give him the ball and go.
Right now he's playing.
Like the problem, you know what the problem was?
These two were so anti him being 18 that they didn't realize in the first five.
But also, Matt, because he don't know him.
What I'm saying?
Yeah.
In the first five games, he had two double doubles, but because we said 18, y'all just said fuck Cooper flag.
Since then, he only's had one double double.
But you're happy for his performance.
So the 22, 4 and 6, I fuck that.
Soon as he had to, niggins is parading.
Just celebrating that he had to.
Since then, since then, since that game, since that game, since that game, since that game, since that game.
Since the two-point game where they was in this motherfucker celebrating, bashing them.
We haven't heard no bashing them.
I didn't have seen.
He didn't say he's 18 years old.
He's doing it.
He's doing it.
I'm playing good.
Thank you.
We did not bash him.
We were doing it.
When he scored 18, we said he's 18 doing this.
We were school.
That's how you're saying he's 18.
That's how you become delusion.
I just watch.
When you see running man.
I start making another love.
You said this.
You said this.
Hey, bro, bro, bro, bro.
None of that shit, we were talking about.
This is not the time for that.
Come on, man.
I agree with you.
Come on, man.
I agree with you.
So you were not bashing him.
You said we were bashing him.
Wait for the Chris Paul.
I know.
We were not bashing him.
I know that's where it's worth him.
We were not basing him.
You got to wait a little longer.
You got a little longer.
What I'm saying is, just like, just like you read something that put 18 in him,
the nigger jumped out the window again.
Did he not?
So as he here 18, all logic goes out of the window
because you don't like the idea of him being 18
just like he jumped out the window before.
You!
Read it again.
Read it again.
Read it again.
What would you like to read again?
Just read it.
No, no, it's the man.
It's the man.
I forgot he just had 30.
Read it, man.
That shit crazy.
What about 18?
Read it.
Just read the passage you said.
What did Cooper Flag do?
How many points he need at 18?
Need 60 more points.
He's currently Kobe for second-most points by 18-year-old NBA history.
You need 60 more or 61 more to surpass him.
And what did he do?
Damned to jump it out the window.
Oh, wow.
Oh, he did it.
Why are you doing?
Yeah.
I did it.
I know.
I know what you did.
Whatever you said, you can move on.
You can move on.
Man.
I lost.
Y'all are trying to force.
No, no, no, we lost.
You're trying to force argument.
Let it come back to.
Is it obvious?
Is it obvious?
Hey, hey, hey, hey, give me, give me my thing.
Go ahead, go ahead.
Yeah.
It's obvious.
You feel it now.
Do you feel it?
Now you know.
You're wrong, nigger.
You're wrong.
Damn.
You're wrong, nigga.
Damn.
They switched the whole thing.
Don't be feeling this so tight.
He'd be like, man, is it up?
Let me go ahead and put this shit in before I even say anything anybody.
I got an obvious t-shirt.
You're wrong, man.
You got it.
You got it.
You got it.
You're wrong, man.
You're wrong, man.
I've been a big supporter of the is-it-obvious movement from the
It's inception.
From the beginning.
But Mr. B., question for you.
I got a sweater.
Cooper Flag has about a year to pass you to become the youngest to score 50 plus points in the NBA game.
Oh, you are the young.
Are you worried at all about Cooper Flag coming for your record?
No, I'm a big fan of Cooper Flagg.
That made you feel good.
Would you make him a congratulations for a good?
That made you feel so good.
He said.
Would you make him a video passing the sports if you're done in the 50?
Wait, wait.
What is the record?
Is rookie or youngest?
Youngest.
Youngest.
55.
And rookie, too, right?
I think 20 years, 52 days?
days?
It's been 20 years?
I think you were a...
Damn, knock out.
Damn.
20 years old, 52 days.
I'm not going to say.
But it was in...
No, wait.
It was a rookie thing, too, right?
Yeah, Brandon did drop 55.
All right?
All right.
No, I'm a Cooper Flag fan.
Man, I remember meeting Cooper Flag
first time at Steph Curry's camp.
And he was just dominating the whole camp.
So, man, I've always been a fan of him since he was younger.
And, you know, I'm hoping the best one.
I mean, you know, this is...
I mean, when the last time we had somebody coming to the league at 18,
in place. So, you know, the way it's going and the way the league is today, you know,
he definitely has a chance to do it. So, yeah, if he does it, yeah, hats out to him.
Okay, well, the chat shares your support for Cooper Flagg. We have to chat. Will Cooper
Flag break Mr. B's record? 60% of the chat says that. Okay. So he has, so it's two records.
But he got to do it in three quarters. No, wait, it's two record. He called me talking crazy.
I told you all the 40, all right, but you got to get 55. I told him the best in L.A.
So he has two, so it's a two-thing record, though.
At 55 as a rookie, I think the youngest has a rookie, and the youngest has 55.
So you ain't getting beat.
And I did it in three quarters, though.
They don't matter.
I know, but I'm just saying, that, I mean, matters to me.
That matters.
That matters.
Do it in three.
You could have had 81.
Thanks, so you could have six?
Mr. B, your seventh game in the national basketball league.
So he has a full.
He has a full.
About a year.
Yeah, he got a full year.
Full year just to be the youngest, but he has to, for a rookie, has to beat it this year.
He would have to score 56 points this season to pass the rookie record.
So, yeah, so if he does it this year, he gets him on both.
No, no, no, but his birthday is when?
Birthday, Sunday.
But he'd be 19.
He'd just be 19.
I know.
I was 19 or, no, I was 20.
I believe you were 20, 52 day.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's for the youngest.
Yeah.
But he has to, like, for him to beat both of them, he has to do it this year.
For him to beat at least the age one, he has to do it.
He has all the way to next year.
Well, speaking of scoring on a mid-10, I'm hanging in there.
You know?
Can't get me out.
Yeah.
Speaking of high-scoring output on a mid-team Warriors have left much to be desired this season
after a 13 and 14 start currently sitting at 8th in the West.
Chef Curry has been cooking and his return to action, though, after missing five games,
the left quad contusion and muscle strain.
So it is first getting back.
Steph put up 39, 5, and 5 in a loss at home to the Wolves who were playing without Ant Man.
Continued his bucket getting sprees Sunday on the road against the Blazers.
Let's take a look at the highlights if we can.
Rio, thank you for getting in my shot.
Step delivered his second high scoring out of the season finished with 48 points,
going 12 for 19 from deep.
Steps' 45th 40-point game since turning 30,
moving him ahead of MJ for the most in NBA history.
It was his NBA record fifth career game, making 12 plus 3.
And all that sounds great.
He looked spectacular, but it wasn't enough to lead the Warriors to a win.
That's crazy, man.
Wasting this man's mojo.
He has not beaten the Blazers.
In fact, the Warriors have lost all three of their games against the Blazers.
This season.
This season.
And four of their last six games total.
Wasting this man's years.
No, because you that use him.
Use him.
So let's talk about the positives of Wardell,
Stefan Curry.
Good to see Steph still balling at a high level at 36 years old.
Not worried about his team just yet.
We will get more into that.
But Steph...
That's normal now.
Yeah, I might say that's...
It'd be 37 in Mark.
It's...
It's been normal, I mean...
Only for them three.
That shit ain't normal to do that.
I mean, they're the ones that's making the normal, so...
Yeah, Brian, you know.
Katie.
That's it.
That's a lot.
I mean, that's the...
That's the company.
Like, how many players in your era, like, when you came out?
Oh, when he won.
Dirk, when he won what?
When he won the championship?
Because he would stop playing pretty much a couple of years up.
Yeah, Dirk was done.
After the championship.
Dirk, I think Dirk retired with 31.
Shut the fuck.
Wait, what?
Wait, hold on that.
It was older when he won a championship.
Wait, well, he wasn't.
He was older because he retired.
Dirk was definitely in his 30s when he won.
I don't know.
Geez, the kid was old.
I don't remember Dirk.
Was it 2011?
Dirk born in 78.
He was 33?
32, 33?
Won a champion in 2011?
Yeah.
Yeah, like 33-ish?
Yeah.
Yeah, he stopped playing fast, man.
Just turning 33 to his birthday.
But that's a different type of grind.
That era is a different type of grind.
No, no.
Listen, it's sad because no one talks about the wars no more.
I mean, the biggest warrior news, you know, this season has been, you know, Steph,
a shoe, and what shoe he wears that game is basically where he's getting his recognition.
And that's the sad part because I believe one reason that I don't pay attention to him anymore is because it's not about winning.
Because the fact that you're purposely sitting a player that can help you.
you're trying to force a player
that clearly isn't that good
it kind of tells us
you're really not in it too
to try to go out there and win it because we all
believe Kaminga
is a big part of
you guys moving forward
and the fact that you want to
you purposely want to bench him you're showing
everything you can possibly
can to bench him. We've seen him in the
playoffs last year. We've seen when
he got minutes he was
great we was like damn he got his money right he's playing against a defensive team playing what
you needed all of that so the fact that you you don't want to play him and you're still playing
this game with him just kind of tells me you don't want to win so because you don't want to win
and you're sitting there just wasting currie's time i just focus on what currie's doing i can
really give two shits about the team itself this was a multi-layer segment gill so i'm glad
that you brought that up but everyone's feeling the disappointment of the
start of the season for the Warriors from the fans, ownership, coaches, players.
According to SFGate, a 27-year-old fan by the name of Justin Dutari from Panama,
found Warriors owner Joe Lakers' email address online felt compelled to send him the following note
after the Warriors lost to the Blazers on the night after Steph dropped that 48 piece.
He said, please do something about this team.
What does stuff need to do to win every night?
Drop 50 points.
Jimmy's Butler's tools are being underutilized because he's playing at.
That's a power forward due to the small position players.
We have no true center.
I am so frustrated.
So this was verified.
Laker responded a few minutes later and said,
nigger don't email me, no, I'm kidding.
He said, you can't be as frustrated.
Can't be as frustrated as me.
I'm working on it.
It's complicated, style of play.
Coaches desires regarding players.
Again, I'll read that.
Coach's desires regarding players, league trends.
Jimmy is not the problem.
So Steve Kerr was asked about Lakeb's email on Tuesday, had this response.
13 and 14.
Well, we're all frustrated.
You know, Joe is frustrated.
I'm frustrated.
Steph and Drey, everybody's frustrated, and this is, you know, kind of how the league works.
And, you know, I hate when people, you know, are going to post private emails.
Like, I mean, imagine if everyone's emails were just publicly posted, how tough that would be to live our lives.
So Joe supports me 100%.
I support him.
We have a great connection.
I don't like that.
We've had so much continuity here in our stable environment and our organization is one of our strengths.
And so, yeah, I didn't even know about it, but Raymond told me about it.
It's not a big deal.
Like I said, I was confirmed by Raymond Ridler, Warriors, a long time.
Hey, Raymond, him.
Hey, Raymond still there?
Listen, it never been a problem because they...
It wasn't a problem because they was winning.
Yeah.
Their relationship has been solid because they was winning.
Man.
Over the last, what, four years?
What, four years?
It's been fighting to get into playoffs.
Playing in the game after playing in the game.
It's tough times, man.
And it's, yeah, you got some decisions have to be made, man.
That's obvious.
Like, you got to do something.
Because you are literally wasting this man's...
You're going to take his emotion.
Twilight years of his career.
You're wasting them.
so what is it going to take for him to come in there and be like move me
I'm just saying so is that what it's going to take for them to
I'm saying for them to realize that they got to do something if he
not right for them to be like for him to go in there and be like listen man
either something got to give or get me out of here yep right then then they'll
realize the dire dire trait of this situation so because this it's it's bad
it's sad to watch man the person the person I need to
do some is Mike Dunleady. He need to go in just fire Steve Kerr. Damn, Mr. B. Yeah, he
need to go in fire Steve Kerr. His schemes, him not wanting to play young players, the things
that he's doing with Kaminga is already just, it already just, it messed everything up.
I think he got everybody in front of people. Jimmy Butler, he's just second option. He's only
shooting 11 shots. That's not going to work. You know, at this point with Draymont, you're
playing Draymont at the 5, you're playing Jimmy at the 4th, so they are out of position. If I'm Mike
Don't leave you. Like I said before, you're going to have to have them balls and go in there and tell them,
yo, listen, man, Steve Curry, your time is up. We cool on all that shit that we were doing.
Jimmy Buller, he could be on the trade block and Dreemarine. And then, you know, you just got to let Steph know this is what we're doing.
Regardless if Steph got a problem with it or not, just the fact that it's business.
But Mr. Reed, what if Steph does have a problem with it? Huh? Huh?
One shoe company.
Clay go ahead. Wait, wait, wait. Wait, wait. Wait, hold on. Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait, wait. You said what?
What? You said if Steph has a problem with it?
What if Steph does have a problem with that?
I mean, it's the-
How do you fight Steve Kerr, obviously giving it a problem with them getting rid of clay
the way they treated clay him?
They fucking did it, so-
I mean, he doesn't have a no trade clause.
What did they give up to be in this position?
That's the grand question.
What the fuck did you do to get here?
Sock the mother-fucker.
You sock the mama.
Yeah, you're not.
You're socked mama.
You're not.
That ain't it, that ain't it either, so we see how he went.
You're not a great team.
We see how he plans.
So that ain't it.
That's just an issue.
So you're saying the fact that they got rid of George Poole?
No, no, no.
I'm saying the karma.
Thank you.
The karma behind the energy that he still got his money.
That Steve Kerr allowed promoted to happen.
He told him to take up for itself.
But he promoted and instead of telling Dreman to stand the fuck down.
No, he told Jordan Poole to take up for itself.
I'm going to move past that, though.
I'm going to move past that.
Go to move past that.
That's a regular NBA fight.
Fuck it.
Fuck all that.
So let's just say,
Clay Thompson, you're going to bench Clay and put it in Pazinski
and say we're going to move in this direction.
That was a story.
And then a couple seasons later, you put Pazinski to the bench.
And now if Pazinski don't know what the fuck going on,
because you put me in here in front of Clay.
Oh, so now it was the punch.
So now.
Is it the punch?
Is it the punch or Clay?
Make it make sense, y'all.
Let's move forward.
Kaminga?
What did I say about Kaminga?
It's a Bernie building.
Get your ass out of there.
Get your motherfucking ass out of here.
Josh Adama's been saying it.
He tried to.
Get your ass out of here.
He tried to.
Now look at him.
This niggie shit.
Dee Kerr went to the Olympics and did what to Jason Tatum?
I said, said, Tedham.
Everybody knows NBA fights happened.
You got socked out.
You got sucked out.
You got your two lights get hit.
It's not the stocked out for me.
It's the fact that when Steve Kerr went up there and said it wasn't a fight.
They were just practicing.
It wasn't a fight.
It wasn't a fight.
It wasn't like no fight.
It was a punch.
It was a team theme.
There wasn't a team theme.
And then he had to retract this shit.
Like, it's always some sneaky shit.
I would have watched it like that.
He didn't want that shit to come out.
He didn't want that to come out.
Because the motherfuckeruckers telling everybody, hey, it's Steve doing all this shit.
Yes.
It's Steve doing.
all this shit. Hey, Jimmy don't know what the
fuck going on. Steve
trying to move these pieces the way he won't
shit done. And it's hitting all
the niggas in Steph Curry's backpack.
And don't nobody want to motherfucking admit it.
He been carrying this motherfucker.
It feels a little fishy, though, that this email
goes out. I'm just looking at it and
Lake up responds to it in a couple of minutes, then
this thing leaves. Time to get the
bottom of this. No, that's not the single. The part
is
the email in what he
says. Right?
I mean, listen to the response.
Response.
That's what I'm on, Steve.
Yeah, he, we're on the same page.
Like, we're on the same page.
Like, um.
You can't be as frustrated as me, though.
No, no, no.
What Steve Kerr said something that was like,
whatever his decision is on how this roster is being played,
a benching Bobby Cominga and not playing them like he was.
The owner's okay with it.
And that's basically what he's, he's kind of alluding.
Because that's a, because, I'm saying, you're owner.
You get a random email to your personal email.
Well, Kerr has this owner here because he has four championships with him.
So the decisions that Steve Kerr has made and made before with the roster has worked out.
With confident.
With confidence.
So he was able to win with those decisions.
But when the clay shit went left, when he, when this is just me thinking, like, if I'm the owner of the clay shit, I'm like, hmm.
Y'all really want to get rid of?
Y'all really want to get rid of, I ain't saying I'm going to make a move, but it would have, it would have.
My antenna would have went up.
One of them, my antenna would have went up
be like, he kept doubling down.
The guy that helped us get this thing?
You want to put him on the bench
and didn't get rid of him?
Treat him like.
Why?
And then that's when I was a start
questioning Steve Kerr if I was on.
He was trying to force Fazzinger to be a start
because he had to.
Because he liked him.
Yes, but the fact that he's
Mr. Fingga, he would call it.
Mike Dundley, he want to make his mark,
he better fire Steve Kerf.
Mr. B.
It's time.
He ain't going to do that.
He can't do it.
We got to do something.
Jimmy or Draymond both got to go.
Something got to go.
What we're called wasting in Portland.
Oh, Tray.
Jeremy Grant?
Jeremy Grant.
Trade him for him.
Man, he's coming off.
I mean, not for Zingas.
For Kimmer.
Kamega?
Yeah, Kamega.
Fuck, I can't say his name.
Chimmy Chunga.
The problem is, I think he doesn't know that.
Who?
Trade him for Chimmy Chunga.
The motherfucker was fine.
Who?
I don't think he knows his players.
No, he don't give a fuck to.
He don't.
Because.
Okay, the two championships that he had
or the first championship that he had
and the 73 and 9 team,
the power of that team was that bench.
Yeah.
Right?
When Curry said, like when people talk about Curry sits, right?
You have to really understand
the thought behind of it.
You can sit on the bench
because when you got up,
the game you were down eight now when you're you're supposed to get in we have 20 right so the
bench squad push the lead up so much that currie got to relax right so when you're talking about
barbosa they don't have nobody like that they don't have a sean limousson they don't have a
they don't even have a harrison bar they don't have like those guys would have been starting on other
teams. There's nobody really
on that roster. Like, you're talking
about four or five guys on the bench.
That is considered starters. They're like,
yo, we got all this. We can
do that. We got our own style of play.
Right? Then, when you get Katie,
same thing. You got a different...
Now, this group right here,
when you look at the roster, it's
not put together well.
And the guys who we... Because I'm like, Jimmy,
if you're going to play that, I would bring you off the
bench to play like that. You can be
the number one. Like, you're not a
you're not a bench guy
but how you're playing this game
on this team
this is not my like
this is not Miami I don't have
I don't go I don't have a hero
on the bam you you have to be one of those
he's making 55 million say he wanted
he was pleased to be when he got to the warriors
he had to play dominoes I love
to be robin but that's what I'm loving I get to
be robin but that's the problem
and that's what I said the problem was immediately
I'm like nigga you took from being
Batman in Miami to come be Robin
with him when you could be
Superman? He was never a Batman. He never
a Batman. He never wanted to be that.
He was never a Batman from day one.
But that's what I'm saying is like when you think about his
movements on what made him great
is he understands
when you need big buckets
and you need those AIDL runs
because they haven't been paying attention to me
I can fuck some people up.
Now you're in a role where
you have Curry
you are the number two
but you're playing the game
as if the other three
players on the team is like
that themselves. They can do their
own thing. Dremont does that.
He's playing like Dremont. You have
to be Clay. You have
to be KD. You have to be
Jimmy in the playoffs. You can't
beat Dremont Green because if Dremont, if you
got two Dremont Green's out there,
who are you passing it to POST?
I said that. The fuck Post's going to do.
I said you might as well put Jimmy in
as Draymond, bring Draymond off the bench
if you're going to play like this.
If you're going to play like Draymond.
You're going to play like this,
Nick, you're going to take Drimony.
I'm like, Camiga, you got to take 18 shots.
Yes, and he would.
And he will.
Now Draymond Green, you bridge it all together.
Yes.
Right, so when niggis doing this, you, okay,
Kamika, give it to here, let's do the big room.
That's how you play the game.
But the fact that you don't have someone
who's guaranteed 18 shots or being aggressive
It's like, all right, for the first three quarters,
okay, Jimmy, you're going to take me, pay, pay, pass.
Don't help, don't help, don't help.
Everybody say, oh, Jimmy don't want to pass.
They know how to play you now.
Fourth quarter, help.
I can see them complaining that Kaminga take the shots
that is meant for stuff.
No, he don't.
There's no shots for him out there.
I just know, no.
They're running.
I know what you're saying.
Third, no, you know what you're saying.
Third and that's, yeah, but that's, yeah, but that's bulls.
It is.
It is.
That's why I say it's.
It doesn't matter if you make it or not.
He's still going to say, that's what he said to Buddy Hill.
He was saying that shit is going to say, buddy, don't be stupid that shit.
That, I hate that.
But that's the problem.
You can't do that because you need them to be aggressive and not robots.
So people stop paying attention to the stuff.
That's why he's doing that Phil Jackson bullshit.
And he can go.
He's doing that Phil Jackson Bulls.
He can go out of mind games.
Anybody plan that?
He's not going to play.
Let's talk about the comming a side.
of it real quick. So obviously we talked about the interesting part of Lake of his email response
to Discrowned a Warris fan, was Lakeham mentioning coach's desires regarding players.
Yeah, don't have that Jimmy going on.
Warriors of Jonathan and Camiga appeared destined for a breakup in the near future.
Fifth year four, once again, finding himself Steve Kerr's dog house.
She won't eligible on Monday, right?
Yeah. No, he's not until January 50.
January 15th.
So after playing 21 minutes against the Cavs on December 6th in a win, which we know should watch.
The Cavs did not win though.
Kaminga's gotten three straight DMPs with the Warriors losing two of those three games.
So Kaminga isn't eligible to be traded until January 15th after signing a two-year deal this off-season, including a team option in the final year.
Contract was structured to make a trade easier, and obviously that trade now feels imminent.
So Kaminga's handled the situation like a pro saying all the right things, despite his obvious frustrations.
Kurt was recently asked about the lack of playing time for Kaming and said,
my desire is for JK to be the best player he can be
regardless of where he ends up here or elsewhere
three straight DMPs eligible to be traded January 15th
are the Warriors diminishing commingus trade value by benching him
or is a smart move to not play him to ensure he avoids injury
shit it ain't 14 of the motherfuckers
he ain't got 14 DMPs
14 DMPs on the contract year
after coming off your best year
when you average 15 and what's going on what's what and then motherfuckers ain't saying shit you ain't even get no interviews motherfuckers ain't saying a goddamn thing to you look you look way worse
14 he's just got three nigger three um got you in there feeling some type of fucking way got you feeling something but you're just trying to like he's saying all the good shit so but the team's still losing so it makes it look even way worse they don't even think you it can help us win at
at all.
It's definitely worse because they're losing.
So my thing is, right?
You give me than talking.
When, when, this is an issue, right?
With the way media and social media is these days,
thriving on negativity, right?
When should the Warriors' PR staff step in and be like,
John Comigna not available for questions?
Mm.
Mm.
Is he saying anything
Is he saying anything?
I'm staying ready
I'm waiting to get back out there.
So you're saying not to give him
none of that?
They can.
The team can?
No, the team, no, because the NBA is going to find the team.
Well, they'll find it.
Welcome.
But I'm just saying they're not going to do that.
Well, I just walk out then.
You're not going to ask him.
Get out of there early.
You just ain't going to keep asking this thing
why I'm not playing.
And then they're going to find you.
I'm not going to keep asking the same question
why I'm not playing.
Tell them to talk to Steve, man.
Man.
Like, don't keep come asking me this.
If not, listen, if you don't, so the way you go do the PR, if you're not going to take care of it, I'm not going to make myself available.
Have you heard with Steve's brother-of-one?
And then you're going to take the fine, though, right?
Fuck it.
At this point, it's a team fine.
Okay.
No, no, no, no, it's a team fine.
It's a team fine.
It's going to come out of your check, though.
It's a team, but you ain't going to keep putting me on the spot, making Steve like I'm the bad guy.
But they don't went to Steve, right?
And you know what Steve said?
But you know you can cancel all that.
Other guys are playing better.
Just sitting there.
That was the rebuttal.
That's right. But why?
Because now when I make a statement, I'm done with it.
Now you know what it is, right?
Huh?
Now I'm the problem again.
No, no, no. No, no.
No, no, no, your statement is I'm here to play basketball.
But I'm not ahead a couple times.
You said that.
I'm here to do all the right shit.
Why do I have to keep reiterating the same thing?
I just told y'all last time, so I'm not going to answer that.
Next question.
But there's nothing else to ask.
But there's not being a bad.
Now y'all go.
But they're going to keep, but they're going to keep problems.
So this is my thing.
The PR people need to step.
That's what I'm saying.
But I'm saying anything, though.
He's not saying anything bad.
Of course, that's what my point is.
Not to divert it from him.
My point is why I give the opportunity for him to come in that bitch having a bad day one day and be like, man, this is a motherfucking bullshit.
It's going to happen.
Because that's just what it is.
They wait on that.
They wait on that.
That's all the time.
No, so the PR won't even do it.
But why would the, so that's a, see, and that's a problem.
And that's the issue.
But he hasn't done it, but he hasn't done it.
He has not.
I know that.
But who's to say, why keep putting this kid in this situation?
So what's the land?
That's all I'm saying.
What's the lens we're looking at?
He's only going to be in that situation as long as he's in that jersey and he's in that situation.
Now, if he gets out of there, then he's.
That's all I'm asking.
That's all I'm saying.
That's all I'm saying.
If they stop asking him, right?
I would just say what it looks like.
I would never.
They asking, they was asking them to me to stop asking Shador questions.
Why y'all keep going up Shadoo when he's not playing.
y'all doing him a disservice because my point i made he has to answer the question the point i made
was my first thought the way media and social media is these days the point i made yes oh if you
don't answer it's worse than answering why making me why so you're not getting interview it's like
why they're not interviewing that is a problem why they're not interviewing chador no they know
he's not playing so what does it matter because we want to know what how you feel why
because we know you feel some type of way.
So therefore you want me to say some crazy.
We know you feel some type of way.
You won't me to say something crazy.
What's Shador did it?
So with the team,
so bad, he did a whole mind.
The PR guy for the team job is to make the team look good, right?
What?
If you work for PR for the team,
your job is the shit the most positive light you can on a team.
Not to put any added for anything negative to come out.
So if I, it's just me thinking.
I'm the PR person, I'm not putting him in this situation for him to eventually get frustrated with the same question every day.
You can't control.
You can't control the player.
The player is media training at that point because you can't control the question.
He can't control the question.
Yeah.
Emotional too.
So you're doing this for two years.
So you're doing this for two years with him.
So it's not like we came up here and said, oh look what comedian said.
He does the same thing.
Same thing.
They're stupid enough to ask the same fucking question.
I'm going to just keep asking them.
What's going on?
Beesmo.
You know what I'm up here, for.
That's all?
I'm up here.
I'm up here.
Got to get fine, man.
I'm looking at.
If I'm just aging, I'm looking at protecting the key, the person.
But they can't protect you because now you're in the environment where you have, it's out of your control.
You have to do this.
There's no other way around it.
If you're not going to talk, okay, well, then we're going to show you who we are.
Steve Kerr.
So now, do what?
Do what, not play me?
Do I play you?
Do I play you?
Or you?
Brandon.
Or you'll be going on the league.
Are they playing him now?
Bro, did you see what they did to Marshawn Lynch?
Are they planning now?
In that championship game?
They didn't want to give him the ball at that one-yard line wide.
Because if he scored that testing on MVP, I ain't doing it media.
No, fucking cool that.
Who did that?
They did.
No, it was the quarterback, brother.
Right, because you know why?
If I give you this ball and Marshaunish to wait for that.
I know people that was there.
But what I'm saying, because he was so denying about media, we don't want to give you the ball.
Like, you have to play the game.
They had nothing to do with that.
Yes, it.
No, it did. Yes, it did. No, it didn't.
I know somebody that was...
Because if I'm the quarterback, first of all, Marsha Lynch, I'm going on the ball at that line.
I see somebody that was on the team every single day.
Do you think this is facts, 100% facts.
I know the dude that was on the team, his child goes to Sierra King and our kids in the sixth grade together.
Somebody that was on the team.
I know 100% facts.
Could be anybody on the Seahaw?
I know 100% facts were out.
It had nothing to do it.
What you're saying?
I think so.
It did.
So what you think in 100% facts ain't...
Why are you digging in that?
You know, what I'm saying is, wait for there's a problem before there's a problem.
No, these are 100% effective.
I didn't know.
Drop it.
You drop it right now.
But my thing is protect the player at some point.
You can't.
You can't.
That's what I'm saying.
You cannot.
You have to.
You can only go so far.
If you want, you're going to tell somebody to protect you.
You can only go so far.
What I'll say, his agent needs to go to the people.
That's what I'm saying.
Somebody needs to protect the players, all I'm saying.
I've got some sources on that side and they have to do that.
They've been trying to do what?
Your job is to answer the question.
No, the job is to play basketball.
Your job is to be available to the only part of the contract.
So therefore, he's not playing.
So what they have to be available.
Media availability.
No, so that's the part of the contract.
Media availability.
Cool, I got to be available.
You have to be quiet.
You can be quiet.
And leave.
Then you got a problem.
No, you don't.
He's doing right.
There's no problem.
You're acting like there is a problem.
I'm not.
Who's acting like this problem?
No, who's acting like that?
No, I'm not.
You're talking about it if something's happened.
No, I'm not.
Did I say that?
You don't even have this conversation.
Did I say that?
You said, you're not a problem that they're not protecting them.
To keep errantson the same question to put someone in the position for potential for him to say something.
That's all I'm saying.
But he has a player.
How do I know what I'm going to ask?
So why are we even talking about?
He has to.
Because I can say what I want to do.
The only people who's saying something to Steve Kirk.
Keep the mic away from that nigga.
Yeah, because I can say what I want to.
I don't know what I'm saying.
If he's a professional enough to go up there and say.
To go up there and say.
say, hey, I'm going to be ready when they play me.
The point, like, he's doing a good job.
Yeah, the point of it is, I can say what I want to.
But I'm saying, he's doing a good job.
That's the point of it.
You're arguing with us.
Like, he's not.
I'm not arguing with you.
Y'all want to argue with me because that's the point that I made.
I don't want to argue with us.
I'm making a point.
I said, in my opinion, my point of view is what I said.
You want to argue with my point of view.
I don't want to, I made the statement.
So you had a rebuttal to what I said.
You want to argue with me.
So you could have been like, you could have listened to my point and been like,
I did.
Thank you.
But you want to argue with me.
No, no, no, no.
He's disagreed.
He's disagreeing.
You can't protect him.
You can't protect him.
You can't protect him.
He's saying the right thing.
His job is to play basketball.
Right.
So there is basketball to be played.
He is not doing it.
Okay.
That's his job.
No, wait.
See, that's the problem.
He thinks what you're saying is to play basketball.
I've never disagreed.
His job is to play basketball.
His job is to play basketball.
He has nothing wrong to say.
He's been saying everything.
And I said that's different from me.
And I said that as well.
I said he has been saying all the right to he hasn't done.
Anything wrong up to this point.
Yes.
Okay.
As a player.
Okay, as a player.
His job is to do what?
He gets played to do what.
The job is to be available when the team says so.
That's your job.
We paid you.
So we're not asking what part of the job is.
Mike, were you?
And the main part, the main part is to play basketball.
But what do you get picked for?
The other parts, when you get drafted, where you got to go?
Yes.
You got to go to that day.
And you got to answer them questions in the back.
I know, I did it first.
I was the first one to do it.
We got to.
I got to pick first.
I know.
So that's a part of the sit.
We all got picked for that.
I was the first one to answer the question, so I get it.
I was the first one to answer the question, so I get it, right?
I understand that part, right?
That's fine.
I'm not dispute none of that.
That's fine.
Everything y'all said, I agree with.
All right, all right.
Okay.
Hey, I agree with y'all.
Hey, no, let's get to the point.
Let's agree with y'all, exclamation point, right?
You keep taking my starbursts, you're going to get the thumb.
You're going to do it then, then.
Wow.
Yo, he's taking my goddamn starburst.
I agree with y'all, yes, exclamation point.
Media is a part of the job, yes.
I agree with that.
Okay.
Exclamation point.
All right.
He is there to play.
basketball, exclamation, he's not
to get an opportunity to do that.
Okay. But you don't agree. Wait, hold on, wait,
let them, go ahead. Guys, damn.
Y'all got it. God, damn, so we got it. We got it.
We got it. We got it. Finish my statement for
it. It's 1.30. Let go. Finish my statement for
me, Roshal, please. You don't agree.
Do y'all think he's a statement of them?
With the team protecting,
they're not, they're not, they're not, you don't agree with that, right?
So do you, so you want to finish my statement?
I'm asking you. So you want to finish my statement?
No, I'm asking the question.
Do you want to finish? No, I haven't finished it.
.
So you want to finish the shit that I formulated in my brain is going to come out your mouth.
No, I was asking you a question.
I'm trying to figure out how much protection you want the team to do.
They haven't done anything.
That's what I said.
I believe the team has.
Because the team, first of all, the team knows who's coming in.
Josiah said as well, he said he had some sources that they have been trying to protect.
Camagos Cruz is a look.
A crew.
See, this is the, what did you say?
His crew.
Thank you.
That's what I'm saying.
So the team folks are coming here and say, hey, don't ask Kamengan.
shit about Steve Kerr.
But they've been doing their best to try to protect him, but it's been a smear campaign.
When you said protect him, protect him how?
Because, good, we've heard a ton of messaging.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, me.
I'm sorry about protection.
Protect him how.
We've heard a ton of messaging leading up to this contract.
Oh, they offered him five from $1.20.
He didn't want to take it.
He wanted to take that.
He wanted 35 to 45.
He wanted this that and the third, all this other shit.
And what I'm hearing from that side, that's not, that's never been the case.
They would have took that 5 for 120.
Okay.
What is that got to do with what he's talking about?
With coming in the gym, asking Kaminga questions about why you're not playing every single game
and him answering them questions, saying the good thing every time.
What do you hear from that side is my point?
He is being professional.
So what he's saying is what does the team need to do more than what Kaminga's already doing for himself?
He's protecting himself enough for the team not to have to step in to say anything.
Of course.
No, you don't.
He's going to protect himself.
I'm not trying to hold something.
I'm going to try to get it.
That's their job.
The media's job is to poke a hole in your fucking shit.
This is my job.
I don't think he needs to protect himself, though.
I think he is.
I'm actually question.
Y'all been around this shit.
Yes.
Are the guys that's around the team normally, you always have one, right?
Reporter that goes against the grain of what the team.
The beat writer.
Right.
Yes.
Their job is to make the team look as good as possible.
as good as possible when they're reporting because they hang around they're around the team
more than anybody right they're supposed to have this rapport with the with the guys right
the staff the media up like the coaching staff they're supposed to have some type of rapport
what I'm saying is if y'all see this dude every single day mm-hmm John Kimigke
the immediate people that's with the team y'all see this dude every single day it's
the same this groundhog day with it right mm-hmm mm-hmm it's groundhog day with the media
You know he's not happy.
You know he wants to play.
So why keep doing it to him, is what I'm saying?
Because that's my job.
So that's what I'm going to keep up.
But your job is to make the team good.
No, my job is to report.
But you can report, though, right?
John the Kimiga didn't plead you.
Let me say, I don't know what I'm doing.
No, but, hey, are you going to do the truth?
Are you going to say the truth?
The truth or the matter.
I'm going to have a quote from the same to the same court every single day, right?
That's fine.
This is what he'd
again.
Again, as a reporter though,
as a reporter.
When it becomes like,
I'm going to go out.
How many people got the important?
Hey,
I'm going to go ask somebody else something.
I know what I know what Jonathan Camiga.
He didn't play last night.
I know what he's going to say.
But what's important to the team right now?
Jonathan Cominga not playing.
I don't know what's important to him.
That's important.
I don't know what's important to him.
Ain't that headline news?
You see what I'm saying?
It's a headline.
It's a game.
It's a game.
It's a game.
I don't know.
But that's my job as the media.
I'm going to play the game.
So if you're going to keep giving me the same,
I'm going to keep writing the same thing.
So guess what I'm going to do, though.
Instead of me asking Jonathan Camiga,
you're not getting nothing.
Hey, I'm going to go ask Trace Jackson.
Listen, instead of me asking,
the same question every day is, I'm going to go ask Trace Jackson.
Hey, man, what you think?
How John the Camiga been in this month?
If I really want to do, if I'm really, that's what they do.
But guess what Trace Jackson going to say,
you got to go ask Johnson.
And let that be the question.
You got to go ask Jonathan, man.
I'm with that.
I don't know nothing about what the fuck that nigger feeling, man.
Go ahead, too.
I'm with that.
I asked him yesterday. I asked him the day before yesterday, too.
He gave him the same answer.
I'm with that.
So, therefore, like,
Will Richard's got a D.
Right.
Who?
Real Richard.
Real Richard.
I'm talking about?
That's what's going on.
What?
But the kids have been doing an excellent job
at protecting himself.
So I'm going to come in,
got a DMP against the Bulls.
He said, I'm not really sure how long it lasts,
but as long as things are working out there
and we win in,
I don't see the point.
of switching anything changing whenever my number gets called i'll be ready yeah he said all the right
thing the only person that don't need a mic is steve kerr's like i understand like i'm just saying
like he don't need it because we only know about comminga doing this and that because he gets the mike
yeah because we get someone when it him steve kirk and what's up kuminga then he tells it right
from his mistake so he don't play too smart that's what he said he needed his own play he
We don't even know what Kaminga said to that statement of, we don't think you're smart enough.
Yeah, I mean, that's what he thinks.
We don't even know.
That's what I'm going to say.
Is that protecting him?
Is that protecting Kamenga?
Not hearing his side.
That's not hearing his side.
Let me show you.
Media works like this.
Yeah.
As long as Kamiga's available to answer how he's answering, you can't run a narrative.
right the moment he's not available it automatically i'm going to write yep commingo was upset about
the non-playing time and blah blah because he didn't give me a quote he didn't get me a quote so i'm gonna make
that's exactly how it works but is that a bad but that's that's not my words because if you
If you say, if you say, if you're doing your job,
but we have to do it.
If I say it's not a bad thing, you're still doing your job.
Yes, that's a bad thing.
That's still doing your job.
If you gave me something, I wouldn't have to.
You still do your job.
I wouldn't have to make it up if you gave you some.
Either way go, you still do your job just to know, the media, right?
If you know what you don't have a quote, right, if you do it or you don't have a quote,
you still have a job to do.
You still have to turn something in.
You still have to put, yes.
Either way it go.
Yes, but.
So cool.
I'm with it.
Either way.
If you do what you don't, I'm giving me something good, then I'm going to write good because I'm reading you.
Okay, cool.
But if you leave and you walk out and now, now, now nobody's protected.
Cool.
Because now I'm not walking out.
Everybody, you know, they see the, I see both sides of it.
Is that a bad thing for him now?
Yeah, I see both sides of it.
Being in this situation.
For him right now.
I'm frustrated with these DMPs.
If he just told the truth.
He's black ball.
Not black ball from them, but now they get to say, see, he's always angry.
He's angry.
Yes.
He's the issue.
That's the issue.
That's why.
psychology.
That's psychology.
Other people gonna say, listen, you force him to this corner.
What the fuck you expect?
That's what I mean.
Other people, that's what I'm saying.
You got half the population is going to be on his side.
And then you're fucking with the kid.
Another half will be like, shut the fuck up in grip.
They'll call Kamega toxic and blame him and say,
all that.
Even.
Jimmy Butter call him shit, all the motherfuck are talking about.
And, but then you know what the press is,
but then he's got to play good.
He's the bad guy.
Now he's perception.
The perception of what we can paint you to be can become reality.
But they're painting him this already.
But this and he's listening to all of this and he's not taking the bait.
No.
Yes.
So that means as long as he doesn't take the bait, other teams, other teams is looking at him like, he's a professional.
He's a professional.
He's a professional.
If they did, they wouldn't have paid them there.
So nobody offered them shit so they said he wasn't professional.
I was going to be my question.
They want to low ball them first.
They can't do that yet.
They can't do that yet.
How much you got this summer?
I'm going to tell you right now.
They wanted the low ball and other teams wait for price to go lower.
As soon as he says anything that's remotely about how he really feels, he's going to be fine.
He's going to be suspended.
He's going to be whatever.
Send his ass home.
And he can just say, I'm not even happy with sitting on the bench.
People like that.
People like that.
People like that.
People like that.
They will figure out the way to take money out of his contract.
Have you ever have you ever.
Have you ever been labeled by your coach?
Nick, have you ever been labeled by your coach?
How much did he get this contract?
It's on a two-year-doer, but the second year is the team officer.
He couldn't get that for anybody else that thought he was a question.
They could get four-d-gold.
They could match, basically.
Nobody offered them because they can match it.
Have you ever been labeled by your coach?
That's what, we all got laid.
They gave a three-year option and a two-year option.
Do you think that can affect you when the coach says this?
Let me give me a point of course, my nigger.
He's not labeled by me.
Let me get the point of cross.
It's how you felt.
Listen, so when you got a mark over your head and it says uncoachable, right, where does that mark come from?
It don't come from your teammates.
It could.
It don't because it says uncoachable.
It's coming from the team.
It's coming from the coach and the team.
No, the coach is the only one can say, hey, I can't coach him.
Uncoachable.
That's the only mark of the perception.
Now, wait, Nick, moving forward, going to other teams.
When you get an interview, you go and you ain't never played for no other team in the league, but this team.
And he said, I've heard from all over the league that you're uncoachable.
And Jonathan Kamega says, well, wait, Jonathan says, I've only played for one team, though.
One coach, they all talk.
So why is this one team saying I'm uncoachable?
I only play for one motherfucker team.
They all talk.
You're not putting me in no bad guilt.
You can't change what happened to you today.
Nick, that's perception, though.
Oh, Nick, that's perception.
Your body in this back.
Nick, that's perception.
That's the false today.
That's the perception down.
And it's what happens.
That's what happened.
No, it's not.
So we've got to roll out in a second.
Jenna!
We got to, yeah, men don't speak.
We got to roll out in a second,
but before we do, we got to talk about one more thing very quickly.
Jimmy Butler did the shit.
Hold on.
We got to talk about...
We got to talk about...
What's his reputation?
What's his reputation?
Was Jimmy Butler's reputation around him?
He's speaking up for you.
I'm not listening to a dead man.
You don't speak.
Let's go.
We got to talk about...
One more thing quickly before we go.
Go ahead, Josiah.
One more thing quickly.
Ghost of Nick.
So yesterday on the show, we were discussing the Wimby v.
Chad Holmgan rivalry when the conversation shifted to a heated debate about the LeBron
versus Mello rivalry back in the day.
Mr. B arguing that rivalry was really only a thing for the first few seasons.
and Kenyon and Grill disagreeing.
We posted some clips of that exchange
on the Gills Arena Instagram.
Mello saw it and had this response.
Let's look at the comment.
He said, stop yelling, gents.
Everything is all good
with several laughing emojis.
That's crazy. Hey, you know what's crazy?
Nope.
Carmelo, Anthony, and Paul Pierce
is really a rival.
Go look at the numbers.
All right, go ahead. Lead us out.
That's...
Stop yelling, Jenks. Y'all ain't act like gentlemen.
Gentlemen.
Of course we're not.
We're like, we're going to act like Jets.
I just had one person's face.
It was just one person's face up there.
Go back to the face.
Who?
No, it said, can you mark, too?
Nick, it says your face right there.
It said, can you want to?
It was a carousel go.
There were several videos clips about the discreet.
Hey, man, hey, man, go look up that Mello and Paul Pierce.
He said, stop yelling, Jets.
Why is Mellow and Paul Piers?
Well, there's no such thing as a robbery if I'm getting to the finals and I'm an MVP.
I understand which we do in the regular season, that's fine.
I know motherfuckers get up for the regular season,
but if I'm getting to the finals every time
and I'm getting MVP, this is not a robbery.
Whoever I'm beating every year at the end of the year,
that's who my robbery is.
So, hey, D, and Steph Curry.
You know what they're stats?
I don't care about no regular season stats.
Go look at when it's time to go.
As an NBA player, right, what is everybody's dream?
To play in what big game?
To do what I did.
To play in the finals, right?
Okay, to play in the finals, right?
If you're not getting to the finals,
How are you ever going to say that we and you are rivalry
when we're not even playing at our biggest moments?
That don't make sense to me.
But go ahead, Josiah.
God is good.
That's good.
Y'all actually had this conversation?
Like I said, this was a conversation.
He heard what he said just now, though.
You heard it because you said.
He said Melo and Paul Pierce's better one.
Wait.
So the conversation is that Mello and LeBron wasn't the right time.
He was going to run for the first couple of years.
To put it together, that makes it a right.
The rivalry or the rivalry itself.
Like, no, guess what?
Paul Pearson.
Go to look at the numbers.
Who's better?
Who's the better player?
I've never even heard of Paul Pierce and Mello even being a topic.
One thing I'm going to tell you, anybody that play at that small four position,
Mello wanted to just scalp.
Yeah.
So, mind them up.
Doing a regular.
One after another.
And we play each other full time.
Cook your motherfucker.
Come see me when it count, though.
Come see me when that motherfucker count.
Who used to?
When you left Cleveland?
Come see when that's it count.
When you left Cleveland?
Okay, well, how about this?
When you left Cleveland?
Okay, how about this?
When you left Cleveland?
No, no, no.
No, no.
No, no.
No, no, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Let me ask you.
Let me ask you a question.
No, no.
Don't let me ask you a question.
You scared.
I want to ask you a question.
No, no.
Can I ask you a question?
I'm out.
I'm not.
You said, Paul, leave the microphone.
You said Paul Pierce and Mello, can I ask you what year would this have been?
Well, they both met in the playoffs twice.
They got swept.
Mello got swept by him again.
They got swept up.
So wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
So you're going to get to.
New York.
He's talking about New York.
Yes, go look at the shots.
We beat them.
Wait, no, no.
What I'm saying is you're saying that is a bigger rivalry because of two years.
What about Mello when he was in Denver playing against Paul Pierce,
who team couldn't win a damn thing?
I mean, we can bring that up too.
So you wait, I'm talking about when it,
I'm talking, but my conversation is when it mattered the most.
You're talking about some regular season shit.
I don't care about eight two games.
I'm talking about where are you when it matters the most?
That's what I'm talking about.
So before you switch, hold on, hold on, wait, wait a minute,
let's go back to 2009.
That's one year.
Let's go back to when y'all played Kobe Bryan, right?
And let's swap teams, right?
Because are we doing that?
Are we doing that?
Are we doing that?
I don't know.
Because are y'all beating the Lakers and y'all have LeBron?
What we swathing?
Are you beating?
Now, with the same coach we had, no.
Yes, y'all.
You can't win it.
You can't win that.
You can't win that argument.
Because I don't like the coach sit.
Fuck the coach.
You're a player, right?
Make the shit happen.
Three, this is three.
I love it.
If a college is on the different Nugget team in 09 against the Lakers,
they're going to win.
No, we're not.
No, we're not.
Yes, you guys are.
It is proof.
If I was on a different NEPP.
If I was on a different match, we would have won a championship.
No.
No.
No.
No.
Why and LeBron James make it to the finals in 09 and 2010?
How do you approve it?
They lost this.
They lost to Kobe and they lost to the Orlando Magic.
What I'm saying, LeBron James is the real rivalry.
LeBron James is an MVP that year.
You put LeBron James on that Denver team.
You guys are getting to the finals.
I know it hurts, but it's okay.
I don't know.
You just make the facts of the matter.
No, the facts are.
Who y'all coaches.
LeBron James is out there.
So it don't matter.
Okay.
James was in the East in 2009 and 2010.
Watch out, this ain't the Super Sonic, Tommy.
Where's that thub going, Kay?
It's in there.
It's in there.
It's in there.
It's in there.
Take your shipper.
Take your shipper.
I'm going to say you know.
To a nigger that's wrong.
To a nigger that's wrong.
If it was a robbery.
If it was a robbery.
To a nigger that's wrong.
LeBron won 30 games when they played.
He won 16.
LeBron average 27.
He averaged 21.
That's not how you do that.
Yes.
How you do it?
You say regular...
I'm going to see.
I'm going to see.
Hold on.
Let me ask you a question.
Go ahead.
Nick, since you looked up those stats, right?
Oh, yeah.
Does it say that Mello played for Portland in those games, the Lakers in those games?
Yeah, later.
Houston in those games.
Yes.
Does that shit you look up say any of that?
Say it.
Yeah.
What happened when they say 40-6 games in LeBron 130?
Well, what are the 40s?
Hold on.
Wait, wait, wait, wait.
You can't wait, wait, wait, wait.
When I said, when I said, when you look at that,
That's your whole career.
So if he's on a team and he went in for one minute, that counts on that record.
So when they both got drafted, they both came on teams that won 17 games.
They both came on teams that won 17 games.
Like I told you put the ass then.
But you can't wait to someone gets to, wait, someone gets to Miami.
And then he's, we went to the finals before Miami.
And then what he was talking about?
And then work.
But in Denver.
Fuck.
Go look, did he be Denver?
Where was he at?
Where was he at in the postseason?
Nick, what I'm saying?
Hey, then, what I'm saying?
They broke their, boom and he got swept, niggins.
You're asking.
He had Bumi Gibson and Zajajah for the fucking.
Oh, you're making excuses now.
Now you make an excuse.
Now you make an excuse.
Then stop.
So I'm not saying their team better.
Now you're making a excuse.
Now you're making excuses.
Yeah.
Yes.
All right.
So what are you talking?
I'm not making excuses then.
But you talk about a rivalry with a team.
We're not.
You're not.
Because you said it's not a rivalry.
You're not talking about it.
They made it to the win.
It's not a rivalry.
This is not a rivalry.
Can we put the Melo response back up on the screen, please, before we go?
God damn.
This is all this.
The biggest library we would have.
Stop yelling, gents.
The biggest robbery we would have was Yolkis and Embed.
But in B got hurt.
What?
That was the biggest robbery we was going to have as a big man.
Right now?
No, and Bid doesn't get hurt.
Brandon.
What are you talking to me?
Brandon.
Warbery as two players?
Who's a big?
Joe, it's enemy.
We talked about
Braun and Miller.
Was there a rivalry between
D. Wade, Carmela, Anthony,
and LeBron James?
No.
And another thing.
Hold on.
All three of these guys
going against each other.
All three of these guys
going against these judges.
Gil.
It's not even a robbery.
So the first pick in the draft,
the third pick in the draft,
and the fourth pick in the draft,
playing one team?
And the guy that got
pick second
seems like good business to me
does it
the first pick the third pick
and the fourth pick
against the second pick
it seems like the fuck out of here
yeah seems like good business to me
come on now
seems like good business to come on now
on bad note it's a great
oh no and I got another one for you
so you said you watched every single game
that they played against right
almost why
rivalry
you said why
because it's good basketball
so it's not rivalries
it's just good basketball
Just good basketball.
Just good basketball.
Just good basketball.
Good competition.
Yep.
I watch everybody.
I watch somebody.
I watch Steve Nags.
No, we're not talking about nobody.
We're talking about this game.
I watch that.
So we're talking about them.
It's not a rivalry.
It's not a rivalry.
Why did you watch it?
Who's he playing against?
LeBron James.
Who's he planned against?
Look, Marlon.
Get your ass in here.
I played against Toby Bryant.
I played against him first.
Put your leg in first.
You don't know.
Put your leg in the question.
Why?
Why are you watching?
You're not even asking.
Why you're watching?
Why you guys?
I said no.
I said no.
I said no.
You're a LaBronianian.
You're getting you to the hub and you're finally going to be a champion.
Guess what?
You would have been a champion.
Hey, guess what?
You would have been a champion.
Hold on.
We're talking facts, right?
We're talking facts, right?
We're talking facts, right?
Hold on.
We're talking facts, right?
Wait a second.
Hold on.
Wait a second.
Yield.
Wait a second.
Who won the championship in 2012?
They went to the championship?
Two, 2012?
Yeah, 2012.
Do you even went to the championship?
You guys know everything since 2012.
Wasn't it, uh, Miami Heat?
Miami Heat, right?
So guess what?
What?
When I came from China, guess who had the opportunity to join that Miami Heat team with that
LeBron James?
I'm saying, hold on, niggas, that's fine.
You, you yelling and shit, I'm giving you facts.
And I'm giving you.
So you talking about LeBron James would have got who over the hump?
Y'all.
Listen, I had the opportunity to join that Miami Heat team,
but I did, that's business.
That's business.
These are facts.
But you should have did it, dude.
These are facts.
Why did you watch the games?
Because I love basketball.
No, you know, you know, you watch every matchup.
You watch who play.
I love, I watch a lot of math.
You weren't watching them up on Booy Gibson.
Listen, I know one thing.
You said, Julia Gibson and got out.
You ain't watching them.
That's what.
Sound good.
And all night, y'all would have had a ring with him.
Hey, guess what?
I got there without it.
New York.
You would have had a ring with him.
I got there without him.
You would have a ring with him.
Didn't need him.
I don't know, don't tell me to something now.
You said, you said, you said, you said,
I got some boots and shit.
I made some boost for y'all.
Hey, so I went to, I went to show them that the team
when my, when Cleveland went to the championship
and he's talking about the wins.
I said, when does these wins occur?
Cleveland went to the championship.
They had to play Denver two times.
What happened?
Denver, boot ties.
Not a better team.
We'll be established that.
But we're talking about rivalries, though, Nick, not better team.
This ain't no rivalry.
Boot to add.
This ain't on that note.
All y'all pass on the
LeBron score more points in every game when they play.
On that shit don't count.
Appreciate everybody in the chat.
Appreciate everybody on this count.
This has been another episode of Gills Arena.
Is that my honor?
Hoopoooooo!
See you all tomorrow!
It's a fucking box!
Let's go.
