Gil's Arena - The NBA Playoffs' INSANE Weekend Shakes Up Gil's Arena
Episode Date: April 28, 2026The NBA Playoffs' INSANE Weekend Shakes Up Gil's Arena as the Gil's Arena Crew react to a wild weekend in the NBA Playoffs that turned multiple series upside down. They tip things off by reacting to t...he slugfest between the Minnesota Timberwolves & Denver Nuggets that saw Anthony Edwards & Donte Divincenzo go down with major injuries and had Nikola Jokic take on Jaden McDaniels in a postgame scuffle. They break down how Jokic, Jamal Murray and the Nuggets got back into the series with a Game 5 win and debate if the T-Wolves will be able to close out the series without their superstars before highlighting the Houston Rockets for avoiding a sweep at the hands of LeBron James & The Los Angeles Lakers. Next, they react to Victor Wembanyama returning to the NBA Playoffs after missing Game 3 due to a concussion and taking control of the series as he and Playoff De'Aaron Fox pushed the San Antonio Spurs over the Portland Trailblazers in Game 4 and break down how Fox is the key to the Spurs making it all the way to the NBA Finals. Finally, they discuss the most shocking series of the playoffs so far as the Orlando Magic have stormed out to a 3-1 series lead over the #1 seed Detroit Pistons and break down how Cade Cunningham & Jalen Duren have crumbled in these playoffs putting their team on the brink of elimination. Presented by Underdog Woo-WOW.
I'm merely your host Josiah Johnson.
We got NBA Champion of the World, Michael Jackson,
Officianado Swaggy Pete Nick Young back here.
Yeah, thank you.
Represent the tough crowd in the car carrying country club member, we got Mr. B.
Brandon Jennings back here.
On this side of the couch, we got the distinguished gentleman from Oak Cliff, former number one pick, Kenyon Martin.
I'm just going to talk mine then.
What was that in my mind?
And last but not least, the man they call Cemetery Larry, NCAA champion of the world Dr. Rashob McCants, Ph.D.
Who's that, Craig Begio?
Mm-hmm.
Legend.
We got a lot to get into, a lot of playoff action.
Here's what's cracking in Gil's Arena today.
I'm a bad well guy.
The Wolves lost Ant Man and Dante DiVincenzo in game four,
then proceeded to lose game five to the Nuggets.
Is Minnesota in trouble without their starting back court?
After an epic fourth quarter meltdown in game three,
the Rock has got their first win in game four to avoid elimination.
Can Houston hang on without Kevin Durant?
And the magic got two straight wins on their home floor.
take a 3-1 lead over the Pistons, is Detroit going to go out like cheddar, Bob?
But before we get into all that, as always, this show is brought to you by Underdog.

So we're going to start this in the Western Conference.
Wolves got a big win over the Nuggets in game four to take a 3-1 series lead, but
it came with some big losses.
Anthony Edwards left the game with a hyper-extended left knee and bone bruise late in the
second quarter after trying to block a shot.
Ant Man already dealing with a right knee injury is expected to miss the next few weeks with
this latest setback.
Dante DiVincenzo suffered a torn Achilles becoming the latest victim of the number zero
playoff curse, which saw Jason Tatum, Tyrese Hallibor, and Dame Lillard all have their postseason
cut short last year by Achilles' injuries.
So despite losing their franchise player and starting back court,
Wolf still got the win.
Trade deadline acquisition, I.O. Dissoum will continue
his playoff dominance from Minnesota, following up his 25 performance in game three
by dropping a playoff career high, 43 points in game four,
including 15 in the fourth quarter.
Series shifted back to Denver Monday with the Nuggets looking to avoid elimination.
Joker, Jamal Murray, put the team on their backs to keep the Nuggets season alive.
Let's take a look at some highlights, if we can please.
So Nuggets jumped out to a 10-point lead in the first quarter, but the Wools hit
seven-threes in the first frame to stay within striking distance.
Minnesota kept things interesting in the second quarter as well.
Cutting the deficit to one before Denver went on a run to close the half.
Yonis Valentuna is out there doing his thing in limited minutes.
Oh.
You see it?
I can go hard.
Joker hit a 29 footer before the budget to give the Nuggets a 9-point lead at the break.
Nuggets turned it up in the third quarter, outscoring the wolves.
37-24 taking control of the game.
Yolkers came through with his second triple double of this postseason at 27.12 rebounds, 16 assists.
9 to 15 from the field in this game after shooting just 39% for the first four games of this series.
Jamal Murray added 24.7 assists, four steals.
Cam Johnson had 18, six boards and five assists.
Spencer Jones had 20 points on 7-9 shooting.
I saw increased minutes with Aaron Gordon's sideline with a calf injury.
Jonas Valanchunas Spark off the bench had nine points in 10 minutes.
Perfect four-for-four in the game.
Julius Randall led the Wolves with 27 points, nine boards and six assists.
He also had five turnovers.
And I.O. had 18 points in this one.
Jaden McDaniel showered with booze throughout the game.
had 13 points and four turnovers while dealing with early foul trouble,
and Nas Reid rolled his ankle in the third quarter,
stayed in the game, finished with 12 points on 5 of 11 shooting.
Nuggets led by as much as 27 in the second half.
Wolves rallied, cut the deficit to 10 with under five minutes remaining,
but that's as close as they would get.
Nuggets for 25 turnovers in the game,
who are 35 points off the wolves, missed cues.
Denver was also plus 20 in fast break points and plus 12 in points in the paint.
So, Swaggy looking at this game,
Nuggets keep their season alive.
What's the biggest takeaways from the Nuggets game
five win over the wolves?
That Ant Man injuries
saved Denver
and Joker Legacy.
Him being hurt,
you see how happy they plan out there.
He ain't heard no triple doubles
until last game.
And, you know, that's the frontrunner in Denver.
Being frontrunners, like, you can tell
the energy has changed.
They play them in more.
confidence now. When the big bad wolf is down, you ain't got to deal with it. And you ain't got to deal with them. I feel like, yeah. If Ant Man was there, I think the season would be over with. They had them. Energy was off. Joker fighting at the end of the games. They looked like they down there gave up until you see something that star player goes down. The energy changed. You feel like you got a chance now. And it shows.
Damn man, Big Bad Wolf, like we said, it'll be out at least the next couple of weeks with the injury to his other knee.
But Mr. B, were your biggest takeaways from the Nuggets?
Oh, well, this game was won in the paint.
This game was one in the paint for sure.
62 points in the paint.
First four games, I think they only have 42 or less than that.
I mean, you know, wolves got away from the game plan a little bit.
But, you know, this is a different team that's been down 3-1 before, which they've shown in 2020.
They were down 3-1 and did it twice.
So, you know, this is a big game six for the wolves because there's no way in hell if they're winning game seven.
So they better try to figure out a way to try to figure out a way or rally the guys up.
Or they're going to need another 40-point game from someone.
But if Denver goes into Minnesota and wins game six, this series is over and seven.
They have no chance of them.
Interesting.
All right, let's shift over to this side of the couch.
The Distinguished gentleman from Oak Cliff, Kenyon, what would be your biggest takeaways?
From the Nuggets, Game 5 win over the wool to keep their season alive?
Oh yeah, you're back home, you got to play inspired basketball, knowing what's at stake, knowing that your season is on the line.
When I deal what you had to do, took care of home.
You've dug yourself this hole, so you can only dig yourself out of it.
of it. It's unfortunate
that
Anthony Edwards
and Dante won't be there.
Yeah, no, it's
just, it sucks, man, to see them guys
go down and when they had this
series pretty much wrapped up, I'm saying, because I
don't think, but the way Dante was playing that, Anthony
was playing, I just
think they were, I'm saying,
that they'd have an answer for either one of those guys.
Even though Amt was labored,
playing on one leg, basically.
Still was doing what you had to do.
No, it's just the shots that Nicole has been missing, Rudy has been playing solid D, like defense
on him as well, but shots that he normally makes, I'm pretty sure the frustration had been
there.
Being back home, being in a comfortable environment, goes a long way.
This showed throughout the game with just the kid Jones making shots and the way Bruce Brown played
at home and different things like that.
I do what they have to do at home.
Now you got to do it again, right?
You got to go to Minnesota.
It's going to be loud.
Got to bring the defensive intensity, rebounding, low turnover game.
That's how you went on the road.
So if they do those things and Nicola is out of his own head, it should be a good game.
Let me see.
Nugget for 25 turnovers in that game.
Like you said, Yolkitch, I think we're shooting 39%.
the first four games finally snapped out of it.
He'd been back home, but it's the same shots he normally.
I'm saying? He made them one game, missed him the next game.
Rudy played the same defense.
It ain't like Rudy played like worst defense on it.
Played the same defense.
The shot just happened to go in.
Some days they don't, some days they do, right?
Just what it is.
But being back home, you feel more comfortable.
So it is what it is.
Shal, let's move over to you.
Dr. Rashop McChance, PhD,
where your biggest takeaways from the Nuggets,
Game 5 win over the wolves.
I just like to see everybody scrambling, you know, when there was a lot of talk about Denver being good and sweeping and burping babies and all that shit.
It's just not happening.
It's not happening at all.
And then there's no credit being given to the Frenchman for showing to do what he was supposed to do.
He gave him credit when credit was due.
You know, I think that we were complimentary of Rudy Irving.
Yeah, absolutely.
I'm just in the middle of my take.
I'm just in the middle.
Yeah, but you're referencing me
I like, so therefore.
I like how I trigger.
Therefore, it's just triggering.
No, you're referencing me.
Just tricking.
The truth is just so fucking triggering
and you cannot fucking happen.
No, no.
You know what I'm saying?
Just perfect baby,
no, make your point without
I'm just trying to go into my shit.
I didn't refer to you.
I'm just trying to go into my shit.
No, no, there's a word.
I ain't, I ain't, I don't get a fuck about that.
I'm trying to remember this shit.
Yeah, remember what you want to.
But I'm just saying.
That French dick out there is out there cooking on his side of the court.
You know when you cook on the offensive side, triple doubles and all that?
All that energy you're supposed to be saving for Wemby and all that shit.
I don't see none of that shit happening right now.
All I see is somebody's getting burped up.
And if that little young man, if the young player, Anthony Everton don't go down,
even Chenzzo was a utility guy.
I'm a sumu.
Is his name?
I'm Assum.
I'm As sum.
As sumu?
Yeah, Desumo.
Assumu can, he can regulate what we need to do with Devinchenzo.
He's a shot maker, but he do a lot more.
But man going down definitely saved the day.
Yeah.
I ain't gonna say save this legacy.
It's going as far as you.
End of a era.
End of a Denver ever.
Just all the hype around all the shit I was hearing all season.
That's supposed to be done.
He's supposed to be back over there with the horses and shit.
you know, giving food and shit.
But now it's a little bit,
you give them a little bit more.
Yes, it's way.
It's way.
The energy in here is different.
It's just a lot of different.
The playoffs.
It's good.
It happens.
Before the playoffs, it was all this.
And now it's like, damn.
I hope they win.
It happens in the playoffs.
I'm just saying.
Hey, like you said, game six,
they don't really got a chance.
If they don't win this because of the momentum,
going to give a favor,
they got to figure out how to,
how to win.
I don't know.
I don't think 40 going to do it from Missoumu.
I think Julius Randall need to figure out how to be a fucking leader and step up.
Yeah.
Jay McDaniels, okay, look, you did what you did.
You said what you said.
13 points ain't going to get it.
You're going to have to figure out how to be more of a playmaker for the team.
Everybody got to step it up.
Nas Reid especially, you got to step it up.
But it's going to be tough.
It's going to be tough now.
And I think what Denver did last game, they got back to their comfort zone.
They're just going to the picking rolls, figuring out who's going to be the open men and they got to hit them shots.
So at the end of the day, Denver needs to do what they've been doing all season long.
Without an ant man, that's how they're going to regulate this series.
But if Minnesota don't step up, they'll be out of here for sure.
They don't want to go seven.
Hmm.
So we'll still shock right from the field in game five.
Nuggets 4-025 turnovers.
Have you seen a shift with this Nuggets team, obviously, capitalizing.
No, that's what you expect them to do.
right, they backs against the wall, they down two really good players, their best player
and another guy that's been hitting him in their head every chance he got.
Like, yeah, they're going to come back home with that kind of energy.
I'm not surprised.
Like that's just, yeah, they back home, seasons on the line for one, right?
With Aunt Ann Devin Hino's over, they would have been the same energy.
I ain't saying they would have won, but they would have came out with the same kind of enthusiasm.
They back home, the season on the line.
In front of their crowd, yeah, they would have been the same.
going to come out that way.
Like, with Dante and
they would have came out with that same type
enthusiasm. So, it's just
unfortunate that those guys had to go down
with injury and they're not going to play again in this series.
That's very unfortunate, right?
Right. It just, it fucking sucks
for sports. It sucks for them.
Sucks for them not to be whole.
And so we can see a really, I'm saying,
I'm saying, a completed series because
we don't know.
But they were playing well better than it
Denver Nuggets with them two dudes. It is what it is.
Like, you just watching the fucking games.
It does suck. And man is like
the playoffs. Everybody loves to see him in the playoffs.
And when you take him out, you get 25 tournaments
because players got to step in
and do things they're not normally supposed to do.
Or not normally doing it in the game
with Ant Man on the floor. And
you know, I think that game was...
Game 6 is going to be a better game. You get more comfortable.
Especially when you get blew out.
you get a little more hungry.
So I think game six is
game seven for them.
They ain't got them too equalized
like Dante and both.
Both makes big shots
when shot clock going down.
Both of them are big shot makers, man.
And like 30 plus points.
Yeah, that's 30 plus.
But you got I.O. stepping up.
40.
40.
40 something.
I mean, but, you mean,
I mean, but, you mean,
it's a different team
that's been down 3-1 before.
And they're NBA champion.
So I don't care if Aunt was out or any of that.
Like, they still got pride and they still NBA champ.
So, you know, this is like, all right, shit, this is a, you know, this is a row.
I'm saying, they've been down 3-1 before and they came back twice.
They came down 3-1 to them.
Huh?
How they've been down 3-1 to them?
It's hard to beat a team three straight time in a row.
No, it ain't now when you ain't got the best player?
Oh, I'm talking about, yeah.
I'm talking about Witt, Aunt Man.
Oh, yeah.
What about three years in a row?
No.
None.
Three straight games in a row.
Oh, man, yeah, yeah.
No, that would have been something.
It was ever, you know, 23 and 8 in the first three games.
Only have five.
Obviously, played 18 minutes in that game four before it didn't hurt.
What was the first two games?
First two games.
He had 17, I believe, in game one and 30 in game, or excuse me.
30 in game one.
30 in game two.
I don't know.
The dates are all fucked up.
Minnesota are going to lose game six.
Huh?
I said, Minnesota are going to lose game two.
Yeah, 22 in game one.
They seem to panic.
30 and 10 in game two.
But it's like.
But it's like, what do you, like...
They shouldn't panic.
So you say Julius Rounder has to do more?
For Moscow, I'm just saying, like, 27, like, what else is he supposed to do?
This last game was 27?
Yeah.
Yeah, I mean, the other guys got to step up.
But the way that he plays the game, facilitating him around that 27 is...
For him to be number one now?
That's tough.
27, the way he got it is way tougher than...
him just getting a bunch of points and saying, I did enough.
And I think when you talk, Scott, and report with them, you know what he's going to do.
You know, he's going to go right block.
He's going to face up.
He's going to try to bully, bully, and he's not much of a pastor when it comes down to it.
And you don't have the shooters that you usually have in Ant Man and Devinchenzo.
These are two 35 plus percent shooters.
So now you depending on I.O., you're depending on Jaden McDaniels, Shannon, Jr.,
coming off the bench.
It should be Nasree.
Nasree.
You're dusting these guys off,
expecting these guys to come in
and get you something.
You know what I'm saying?
It's tough.
Dusting these dudes off.
He could be the best shooter they is.
If he ain't came,
if he ain't played in a while
coming in this pressure situation
and try to make shots.
It's not, it's not over, though.
It's not over.
It's not over.
No, they still got two games.
But they don't,
I don't think the coaching staff
has an alternative offense set up
without a fucking Anthony Edwards
being a part of it.
What was their record?
without Ant Man this year.
I think like 12 or 9.
Damn.
And that's not bad.
That's not bad, but it's still, it's like where do you get your offense?
Because you can't depend on Rudy to give you a 2020 game.
And Nasree seems to be a guy who's waiting for someone to give him the ball.
And he rolled his ankle.
And he rolled his ankle.
You don't know how he.
He was laid out.
I thought he popped his Achilles.
So this is who I thought they should have entered the game with early, or even started
with you start Bones Highland at the one.
Yeah. You don't bring Mike Conley
in and start Mike Conley. You let
Bones, because Bones 13 points
could have been 23 points. Once he gets
he, he's aggressive. I think just him
knowing that I'm playing
gets him in the I gotta go get this.
Him and the Sumo? And he's playing
against the old team. So you look at him
going in with a chip on his shoulder.
Commercial. Yeah, he's looking
to try to prove to them like
all right, look, this. Yeah.
Iyo and him out there moving together is not like and even Chinozzo but it's a different dynamic where they can both go down here
You do some defensively with them too but you still got Rudy
Offensive not said but offensively they oh
Yeah, firepower I'm saying the pace they they're faster with them to sure with them too
With them out there together you need to play them together the pace needs to be faster
They don't start like that as right and if you put they got to play like you take that with the
Rudy like I like Rudy in some situations but I'm
I'm putting naws.
Yeah.
I'm playing nigh smaller.
Aaron Gordon still kind of hobbled a little bit.
They hear you playing.
But you see the Denver's progression, right?
Denver's progression looks a lot more fluid because they made the adjustment without Ant Man in the game.
And they're like Jones, whether you play good or not, we know you're just in there to run, run around and knock people over and hit open shots.
But Brown and both Browns aren't hitting those threes, they're in trouble.
They're in trouble.
Jamal Murray going to do Jamal Murray shit
and Joker's going to do Joker shit
but if it ain't Cam
Johnson ain't hitting
and those two Brown boys ain't hitting
he is.
Now that's who needs to play well game six
He played well last night
I'm saying to going on the road
because you know how that should be
I think Bruce Brown and Chris Brown
do what they bring to the table
is energy and effort plays
and I think that are transated
and if they're making shots they're making shots
but they get offensive rebounds,
those things that help you win
All the little Caruso type plays.
Absolutely.
Those are the type of players you need.
But they want to get in the shootout with this Nuggets offense, though.
That's no.
It takes everything in the paint for this.
No, but they need to play fast, man.
They need to play Bones Highland and D'Sumo together, right?
They need to play them together and speed the game up.
Yeah.
They better start them.
Because if you're doing that, man, it's...
Put pressure on Joker, though,
because Joker's guarding Conley on the pick and roll.
He's not turning that bitch and putting press.
on him, but bones.
Yeah, both of them.
I was about to go.
And then you can, then if you need to have court, you throw the Julius Randall
let him do his thing, put him in the picking roll with one of them two.
Push the ball up.
Yeah, yeah, so it's, but you definitely to play faster.
It sounds good, it's about to be some herping babies, though.
I don't like this.
So like we talked about.
They was out of here.
They was out of here.
Four one.
Four one out of here.
I don't get them out of here.
I just love the way that going the way about it.
Talking trash.
Yeah.
Get them out of here.
He was becoming the stars
for sure
In the world
In the league where I always
Well I think that guys
Like two buddy buddy and this
Yo I like Jay Mac
Yeah that's something like I like
Like I've been like really watching him like
Him and aunt
Two ghetto ass
The niggas are sitting on the fucking porch
Talking shit the niggas all the time
And he don't give a fuck
So when Mike Conley said he
After he threw it up he said
Oh shit
Do it to the wrong day
Yeah like you
You know, like, he knew it.
Like, I blame, like, my bad, man, it's one of them, right?
You, when you send certain people in and go talk to somebody, you're like,
that's going to end bad, right?
That's, like, sending me in the deal with certain.
Like, you're like, ah, yeah, that ain't going to be good.
He said he looked up and saw him.
That ain't going to go well, man, like, yeah.
But the wolves seem to be taking on that personality.
McDames obviously called all the Nuggets, trash-ass hands earlier in the series.
We're going to talk about the play from game four in a second, but.
Like, you need that, man.
But he was poking.
the bear, stoking the fire, and they were backing it up.
Like, you need, like, you got to, like, he'd have to compete, right?
He ain't there to make friends with the opposition.
He ain't helping you up.
He's, he to step over you guy.
So I'm, I'm with that.
And he laid that bitch up at the end just to fish you off a little bit more.
Y'all ain't played no defense on the last play either.
I mean, hey, I mean, they teach you to play today, right?
Yeah, but if it was anybody else they got upset, you know, my thing about Nicole is he competes, right?
No matter what, he competes throughout the game.
So for him to get upset, I'm like, yeah, if he was anybody else,
my comment is always where you should have played that hard during the game.
But he does, so it's like it doesn't fit.
He plays hard.
They didn't get an ass kick, but he gives the fuck about the end result.
I thought that was extreme.
I thought that was extreme.
And I thought that one that he just did last game was extreme.
I thought that was funny.
It was like, he didn't want to turn over.
Huh?
He tried to give it to him, I think, to get the clock reset to you going to.
But I'm like.
I didn't think he went to turn it over neither.
It's extreme.
Yeah, but I mean, if he gives him the ball,
I'm saying if he takes it,
you take it, take it back.
I don't think he wanted to the shot clock.
I didn't see it.
I didn't see it.
I didn't see that one.
Yeah, we got that clip.
He went to a 24-second reset.
I think he's talking about last.
I'm talking about that, Jayman.
So we're talking about that shit.
That was weird.
Listen, this is what I was saying
that somebody else was having the conversation.
You got to play these motherfuckers again, man.
But it's more so, like,
we know the unwritten rule.
We've talked about this shit many times.
But you know who he is too.
But he's passionate, right?
Just like anybody else.
And you say, hey, have that same fucking passion throughout the game, to win the game,
to not even be down that much, right?
But that's a whole other conversation.
I'm talking about how you didn't have to do that to make it seem like it was so end of the worldish.
You could have waited to the buzzer and walked up to him.
You're like, hey, man.
Hey, man, that's, let's take a look at the play if we came in or you guys talk about it.
I hear you.
See, me, look at the play.
I'm waiting the next one.
The corners.
I'm down here.
I'm about to lay this up.
It's cool.
See, my thing is,
so.
You're raining.
Like, look, what you doing, bro?
See, but, so this is my thing, right?
And then Nicole, right?
Walk to your locker room.
Don't even do it.
I only say nothing, right?
Hey, next game.
You coming across the lane.
I should have been suspended.
And I'm going to give you one.
Think about it.
That's all.
If we players, the coach,
the coach usually is the one that says,
something to the player. But he ain't going to listen.
Right? So I'm not even about listening.
It's just about getting a message. Hey, bro, you're
bigger than that. Come on, man.
You know, you know the game,
man, you're bigger than that. You shouldn't be doing stuff like that.
And the players should be like, you know what?
You're right. That's my fault. For Joker
to go all the way down there out of his way
to make it seem like he cares about
fucking sportsmanship that
fucking much. It was over.
It was just too much, bro. Because you could
have got suspended. And then you're turning around and
then do the next game.
But this is like, I don't get it.
This is bigger than that.
I feel like this is like a rivalry.
It is.
This is a rivalry.
But if it is, that's a rivalry, so I'm doing that.
You should not.
And I'm doing what Joker doing.
So Jay McDon't.
No, I'm saying, Joker should not, if this is a rivalry,
you should not run down on me like this because I just,
and you damn.
Buc to be in, they both right to me.
See, but the old so do.
Survivor is a little different.
Yeah, it's a rivalry.
So I expect both things.
It's like, that's a lot.
But if you expect it, you shouldn't even, like, if you expect to me to lay this up, I do.
If you expected me to lay it up because I don't fucking sure.
I'm not expecting you to come because you know I'm trying to whoop your ass.
You shouldn't even be trained.
You shouldn't know.
And I'm cool with it.
So like I said, I wouldn't have ran up on him.
Listen, we play y'all again.
RF out.
You're going to get him all up.
We play y'all again in two days, nigg.
Listen, Jack, you cutting through this paint blindly on a pick and roll.
I'm gonna, hey, it ain't no playground, but it's just a good hard,
a good one.
A good one.
Think about it.
I'm gonna get you a good one.
I've been punking them all week.
And then that's the iceing on the cake.
That's the I told you.
Yeah, like I've been punking y'all.
All you can do is put your head down and be like, damn, man.
Go to the locker room.
I can change the energy for the team out by name.
Bro, first and last name.
Ain't nothing changing this but an injury.
Only thing changing this ass whoopin is an injury to the,
my star player.
Jaylon Daniels said something.
They...
Jolking and say nothing.
What can they say?
We had to say that.
We had you, you, and you, and you.
We had all y'all.
When Jayles Daniels was talking, they was up 1-0.
Denver.
Yeah.
It was after game two, I believe.
It was after game two.
Game two.
You can't say that you lose game one, Nick.
Right.
They lost game one.
Hell no, you can't go in there talking shit after you lose game one.
Nuggets one game one.
No.
I thought it was like,
No, hell no.
What happened?
We were searching these guys.
We should have been better.
We should have been attacking.
No, hell, that ain't what he said.
No, that ain't what he said.
That's what I thought you were saying ours.
No, Nick.
Hell.
Joke and saying that.
They went out and won't game two on them people floor and the world's the game playing.
They're going to go out.
Nicole, bad defenders, Jamal Murray, bad defender.
Ham, Gunson, Gartway, Cam Johnson.
All of them.
He said.
He said they.
Rocky.
You, listen, he went out.
Listen, Alderman, Rocky.
What are you gonna say?
John Elway?
What are you gonna say?
He said they four names.
He's standing shocked.
Russell Wilson, he went out of age.
He was saying,
T-Boh.
T-Buh.
He's not T-Buh.
He went out to everybody.
He went out to everybody.
They're all bad defenders.
But joking and saying nothing back to him after that.
What can he say, though?
Say anything.
You can defend your team.
No, no.
No.
He just said after him.
Then we lose the next two.
After the layup and then I was pedigrant.
He responded.
Then we lost the next two.
And nothing we can say.
But my thing, like I said, just a hard file and wait to next.
A rivalry.
That's what I'm saying.
Hard five.
Absolutely.
So he's showing his emotions at this point.
Shit, why can't it?
He was frustrated.
He was very frustrated.
That's what I'm saying.
You're showing me that you needed this injury to happen to even feel a little bit better.
No, I don't do.
Don't think about it.
If Ant don't go down, that frustration boy is over because Jaden McDaniels feeds off Ant.
I believe that.
And vice versa.
And I believe DeVincenzo feed off all the rest of him when it comes to like how available he is to be open to shoot those shots based on them too playing the way they play.
Has Y in Tennessee's as well.
Yeah, I mean, definitely does.
Yeah.
So you think about it.
Think about it.
You like, all right, aunt goes down.
That's the other half of half man, half amazing for Jadeners.
He played both sides of the floor better when he's playing with Edman
because he's giving him that confidence.
Like, yeah, Jada, go at him.
Like, he's juer and type shit.
Man, so I'm looking at it like, damn, once that go down,
Joker, he feels better about the energy
because I don't got to worry about these two niggas.
That's not his, he was going to show up.
100%.
His frustration comes from Rudy doing what he doing.
And then them two talking on the core because they both defenders.
You can't say he's going to show up if he wasn't doing it though.
They've been down 3-1 before.
He had never played this bad.
He never played this bad.
They're not going to just shit.
All right, so who was it down 3-1-2?
Huh?
Who was it down 3-1?
And it was 20-20.
Clippers and like I said.
And the Jasmine, nah.
It was, but they were like, no.
Nobody.
What do you mean?
They're in the playoffs.
Nah.
2020?
Not down three, not down three one.
I'm doing it right now.
That clip was supposed to win it.
Yes, like 2020?
Clippers.
That Clippers team was supposed to win that year.
Jazz and Clippers, I believe both.
They both came back from three one.
They were number two.
Jazz and the first round, Clippers in the second round.
With multiple 18, 20 point comebacks against the Clippers games, five, six, seven.
All right, but so we saw the incident.
Yokic and Randall were both ejected from the game for their rolls in the altercation.
Yolkish got fined, $50,000.
Randall got hit with a $35,000 fine, but after the game, both McDaniels and Yolkitch addressed that unwritten rule being broken.
Did Yolkish say anything when he came over?
No, I don't know what he said.
I just seen someone that was biggest half.
Big as half.
Big as half.
I'm about to go to the door.
Why were you upset with the McDaniels lab?
He's crazy, Loki.
Look at his eye.
Because he's quite a great, but he stopped playing.
That's a bad answer.
He's mad because he...
What happened? Do you regret
confronting McDaniels or do you feel like he didn't do that?
No, I don't regret.
You view that just kind of as an unwritten rule
not to score late.
The country would have shot a couple of them.
He scores when everybody stopped playing.
But there's still time on the clock, like McDaniel said.
What do you say?
McDaniel said there's still time on the clock.
Guess what you never stopped playing?
I'm trying to get my numbers right.
So obviously McDaniels were up for fans.
And they wasn't up 20?
Was he up 20?
They were 14 at the point.
DeLayer put him up 16.
So, McDaniels, obviously not the first time he's ruffled feathers with these nuggets.
Like we talked about after game, too, called the whole team.
But he don't fuck with them, though.
So that's just what it is with him.
You got to know it.
Like, with him.
I wanted you to stop playing.
He said everybody stopped playing.
Everyone stopped playing, so you shouldn't do it when everyone stopped playing.
It goes back to the sports.
Oh, I know.
The ball rolling down.
I don't see y'all back.
Did you see when he, he don't know?
Whatever.
So the windmill that bitch.
He knew exactly what he was doing.
I think he thought about it, though,
because he slowed down and he was kind of like,
he was like, fuck him.
Fuck him.
I felt it.
I was like, oh, he looked and he thinking, he's like,
I'm already halfway here.
I didn't ran all the way down here.
And that's why Mike Conno was like.
How many points I got?
See, let me get two more of these.
Well, this shit is.
In the playoffs, nigga, I need all my playoff points.
Until the Wolf's credit, they interviewed Iowa to Sumo
after the game asked him about the situation.
He said he was riding with his teammates.
So you can see, all right.
Yeah, you're going to ride like Mike Hunter.
He knew where the heat fuck, but you're going to ride
with your guy, right? On either side,
people going to say Nicola wasn't wrong in the Nuggets locker room.
People going to ride with Jay McDonough.
Even they think he might have been wrong for doing it,
they're going to ride with him no matter what because that's your guy.
But Mike Conner made light of it.
Made the joke of like, I take responsibility for the whole situation.
I shouldn't have threw him the ball.
I looked up that I...
Yeah.
It's the same energy put towards the dude trying to play defense
with the guy that's actually dribbling the ball out.
He's trying to steal the ball.
And he's still for him.
And he's steal the ball.
And it's like, my, bro, what is you doing?
That's what I be thinking.
Chase him down.
The same dudes to be trying to foul with two seconds, three seconds on the top.
You're down 10 and 11.
That's why you're doing.
Yeah.
Hey, let him steal and go foul the shit out of him.
Man.
Chase him down.
Chase him down.
Got to ask you guys, was it really that big of a deal?
We feel like the Nuggets were just in their feelings
because they lost their third straight game.
No, not the nuggets, Nicole.
That's a big deal.
It's a big deal because it's a robbery.
The nuggets are in the color.
It's personal.
It's personal.
I say both was right.
Both.
Yeah, it's a rivalry, bro.
You got to, hey, they're going to run the score, man.
It's like, it's like, it's like, it's sending messages.
Yeah, yeah.
We send in messages.
Like I said, I ain't got the problem.
That would make Timberwood was like one of the best teams to watch.
in the playoffs, bro.
I love watching Timberwoods in the playoffs.
You like watching Ant.
But that,
Jay and McDaniels was,
what he was doing was making,
like,
the playoffs fun.
He was becoming like a fan favorite
on the team.
Well,
all that shit to happen.
Do you still playing?
That was Rudy Goberful.
The energy is not the same.
I know,
so just saying that it's over.
You're talking like the series over.
He's still like,
you know,
like, come on,
he's not over.
But it's not over,
but it's not over,
He can still affect the outcome.
No, he can't.
He really can.
He has two active legs and feet and arms.
He can go out there, bitch, and affect the outcome.
Like Joker not playing.
No, what?
What if Joker wasn't playing?
When you say Demer is over?
The Joker wasn't playing.
And Ant-Man and them was-
No, they still got active bodies.
Jamal Murray and Hillin.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I don't know.
I understand that.
But we got to fucking go out of play.
The logical part.
A triple-duble guy.
Yeah.
I understand what y'all are saying.
like, okay, so would it be over for Denver?
We would be like, uh-
Yeah, I understand.
Yes, I would say it.
It is a long road.
I would say yes.
Long road to hold.
I understand that.
Yes.
For them, it's an uphill battle now.
Yes.
Being without their best play,
missing 29,
missing another 15, 16.
They lost Yokers and Christian Brown
or something like that.
Yes.
Yeah, yeah.
Tim Hardaway Jr.
I understand.
Yeah, it's over.
Yeah, it's over.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm saying, but I'm saying
the guy that's been talking shit
is what I'm
scene.
Yeah.
The guy that called him out and the guy that laid the ball up,
you still can go affect whether y'all win,
motherfucker.
Like, that's what I'm saying.
Like, you said, you said they bad defender,
so guess what, motherfucker?
You got to step up.
Go show us they bad defender.
For sure.
That's what I'm saying.
For sure.
You made the comment.
Yeah.
Now go get it done.
Your limbs still work.
I need 25.
More.
I need 30.
I need 30 and a windmill dunk.
He didn't get in like,
20s, I don't think he had to give me something.
Give me a quarter.
Give me a quarter.
At least.
Give me a quarter at least.
You said they bad defenders.
Show me.
On them bad defenders.
Every time you get it.
You should have, listen, you should have more opportunities now, now that Anthony Edwards is not out there.
So therefore, capitalized on them opportunities since they such bad defenders, I'm rolling.
Show me.
But you see what, his comment came from Ant Man's ability to expose.
It wasn't his ability.
Well, guess what?
Well, guess what you should have said?
Hey, well, guess what you should have said?
Can't none of them niggas guard my niggins?
Hey, it's like keeping them honest.
Hey, can't, hey, none of them niggins.
So after game two, after you made those comments, game two,
follow that up dropping 20 and 10.
Okay, well, guess what?
Yeah, the career, I'm just saying.
We need, we need more.
We need 30 and 10.
But it's one-on-one.
But and played that again.
Yeah, you get double teams sometimes.
They might not even do the one-on-one.
They had to play the whole game, right?
They had to play one-on-one.
They had played the whole game.
he had 20 and 10.
I think he had 17 in that game.
He went out the next game.
Mm-hmm.
You had 13 in the game he didn't play.
13 ain't going to cut it, young fella.
Nah.
So guess what?
So many of them dudes bad because you named four-wing defenders that guard you.
But we got to talk about Scott to report.
I'm so hard.
I'm so hurt, bro.
The Scotton Report with Jadam and Daniels on the floor by himself as a slash.
Yeah.
We're not, yes.
We're closing them.
We're making you pay.
Now, think about one-on-one on my guys.
Yes.
That's what you were just saying.
You would stand a one-on-one was open.
Yeah, it's open.
You got a double team and now it's just me.
But now if I go by you-
So now you want the open shot?
No, it's not open shot.
I can go buy that one-on-one person.
So what's the difference now?
Well, now the swing-swing, swing closes up.
Show me the bad defenders.
It's going to be harder to do that.
Show me they bad defenders.
It's hard to do.
You said it.
Anthony Edwards didn't say it.
If Anthony Edwards said it, I'd be like, yeah, they're bad defenders.
They are.
He was relaying the sentiment of the coaching saying this is what we're going to be in our game plan.
We're talking about him.
But who's on name?
Who's their name?
What's their name?
Was they doing that?
After he said that, they did it.
They did it.
They did it every day.
He said Cam Thomas.
Tom Morris.
All three of them guards Tim Hardaway.
That's three.
They guard you.
And what they do after?
After he said that, what did he do?
They guard you.
They went after he head.
Three games in a row, right?
Okay.
So let's see at game six.
They're going to, them same guards going to be out there.
The same people you said bad.
But the one guy that was actually exposing all of those guys is not there.
Yeah, I understand.
But that's the difference.
You go ahead and do it though.
Your comments should have been, hey, you can't go out of my way.
I agree.
That's because he's the key piggybacking over there.
That's not my job.
That's not my job.
I don't know what I'm going to do now.
Shit, aunt was doing all that.
He was inviting us to the crib after the game.
He was going to say.
We ain't coming to my crib.
Talking to all that shit.
The corners is.
The corners are.
taking over the playoff.
It is a quarter takeover, swel.
It is a quarter takeover, swel.
It is a quarter.
Yeah, he got to have 2530 to give him.
Give me a quarter, buddy.
Got to give him some corner power to.
He got to have a 25.
Don't give him.
For them to have a chance.
To win that game.
No, if they don't have a chance to win this game.
Got a 43 again.
Who don't you ain't?
I am.
No, he had it going.
Listen, he had his 2K moment.
That's it.
He had it going.
His rhythm, he had his rhythm going because he was the sixth option
out there, bitch, by the time.
And then went down.
Now the person that might have another person that's going to have a game
Now he had 25 a game before though
But 25 and 43
Do we need a bone
It was out there
I was just about to say that
I think that was out there was out there
43 they wasn't
Yeah they wasn't they started the game
So he wasn't thinking about that too
He started the game
He had made a few shots already
But the team hadn't adjusted to his
It was a surprise performance
So the team Denver wasn't really like
Okay who do we stop now
Right.
It's next man up.
Yeah.
The last game was, okay, we know he can get, he can get off.
Attention.
This is attention.
Okay.
And that be the difference when we talk about the next guy's up.
It's like, if you're a six man and you off the bench and you get that green light when the other dude go down,
if you truly not ready to step into that light and be the focal point in the scouting report,
because before you wasn't.
Before it was just like, hey, he's a capable shooter.
You know, pay attention to him very small.
So the scout report, Pat, his paragraph is three lines.
If you're coming off the bench, if you're coming off the bench, your scouting report line is three,
capable shooter, attack him on defense.
Can't get hot.
Now we know what you're doing.
Two dribbles to the right.
He started and motherfucker, this long.
Yeah, 18?
Yeah, 18 last guy.
And corners play better at home.
So when he go home.
Is that a fact where he gets to the corner?
Yeah, the crowd won't be chattling him.
Yeah, and he gets to the gym early.
He gets to the gym early.
I think he'll be the one at him.
This is the opportunity he's thinking that.
Like, okay, I can get some money off this show.
Now, attention is being paid to you.
I'm averaging 20-something.
I think bones need to.
I think Bowles don't have to get.
Bones might be the one to send them home.
That's a good, that's a good stat.
It's a good stats.
It is.
It's a good stats.
And I need to follow it up this time.
And I need to follow it up.
If I win this game, we really, if I win this game, you know what changes for me?
What change?
What change?
What changes?
What changes?
Oh, yeah, yeah.
We look at him.
We really needed from him now.
Oh yeah.
100%.
Because Chicago, he was being overlooked.
Because he played with Damara and Zach in him over there.
That's why.
Oh, Kobe White too.
Kobe White, Josh, I get y'all them.
So he's after 29 and 5 in his last three games.
That includes that 42-3-3-4-15-15.
But now coming back to Minnesota games, they really need it now.
That's what they go.
Well, you just insert him in Ant's spot.
So he just need to do whatever it was,
Ant was doing, trying to do.
He needed to figure out, put his mind in that time,
And that sentiment say, I need to go out here and do what he was doing in our offense, in our offense.
Not necessarily try to be who Edman was.
Let me feel this void of what he did in the offense.
And then this hope Jay McDaniels still feel the same way he felt.
Just attack them bad defenders.
Yeah, I want to see him.
We will find out game six in Minnesota.
But let's keep this thing moving.

Let's stay in the West.
Shift over to the Lakers Rocket Series.
So in game three, Lakers overcame a six-point deficit
in the final 26 seconds of regulation to force overtime,
went on to get the win to take a 3-0 series lead.
LeBronlead the Purple and goal with 29.13 rebounds and six assists,
but also had a game-high eight-eighth turnovers.
Grie Hachamora had 22 on 8 to 14 shooting,
and Marcus Smart had 21, 10 dimes,
and five steals, while Brony outscored the entire Rockets bench by himself.
So Rockers without Kevin Durant for the third time in this series in game four with Katie missing a second straight game with the bone bruise in his sprained left ankle.
I don't know where that smoke came.
Is that Bronny smoke?
That's brownie smoke.
That was brown smoke.
That was your smoke.
I don't have access.
Your smoke.
It was smoke for you.
No, I'm handless.
I'm giving credit away, man.
I am smokeless.
So KD missed the two straight games after missing game one with a bruised right knee.
Before game four, Alper and Shangoon, who had 33 and six.
16 in the game through loss gave his teammates a passionate motivational speech, which was inspiring,
even though he didn't really, really understand English.
Had some janky English in the speech, but still got him going.
Ended up working out as Houston avoided elimination to keep their season alive.
Let's take a look at some highlights.
Unfortunately, Rock has got it done on both sides of the ball.
Overcoming an early first quarter deficit to take control of the game.
Houston led by five after the first quarter, nine at the break.
Game got out of hand in the third quarter.
Houston started the quarter with a 12-4 run.
Outscoring the Lakers 34-18 to take a commanding 25-point lead.
All five rocket starters scored in double figures.
Amon Thompson had a game high 23 points on 10 and 16 shooting along with seven assists.
Tari Easton added 28 boards and five steals, going seven for 10 for 10 from the field.
And Shangoon had 19 and 6 boards.
Reed Shepard added 17.
He was 4 for 7 from deep.
DeAndre Aidan led the Lakers with 19 points and 10 reround before getting ejected.
midway through the third quarter after getting a flagrant two for Elbow and
Shang Gung in the head. I will have more on that shortly. So LeBron finished the game
with 10 points on two of nine shooting along with nine assists and eight turnovers.
Brown's third lower scoring total in his playoff career. Rue Hachamor was the only
other Laker and double figures with 13 points. Rocket scored 33 points off of 24
Lakers turnovers held the purple and go to 23% shooting from three. Things got chippy
at the end of the game with players from both sides meeting on the court.
Marcus Martin, Luke Kahnard shared some choice words with the officiating crew,
led by Gucci ref James Williams, the same ref Devin Booker called out last week
after getting him with a questionable tech, which the league ended up rescinding.
Marcus Smart got fined 35 racks for questioning the integrity of game officials.
Luke Kinnar got $25,000 fine for directing inappropriate language toward the officials of the Rockets
lived to see another day with Game 5 back in L.A. Wednesday night.
Shott, we're going to start with you.
We're going to start with you.
We're your biggest takeaways from the Rockets game for win over the election.
Let's hear this.
That's the Bronner Bernie.
I didn't know it.
Oh, wow.
Yeah, it's the Bronny and Bronny.
Is that the Bronny that outscored the Rockets bench?
Yeah.
Okay.
That's good.
Okay.
Same brown.
Go.
Let's go.
They shot 40% in three that Houston Rockets did this game.
When you look at it.
that wins and losses and then the wise.
Are you hitting shots?
Are you taking good shots?
Are you moving the ball?
I think this version of the Houston Rockets
without KED, when they've made their mind up collectively
as a group to play together, they look different.
I think this was a game, was a statement game
that say, listen, if we're gonna go out,
let's go out shooting, let's go out firing that motherfucker.
And I think that at the end of the game,
look back in their effort outweighed the output of the Lakers because the Lakers didn't look
like they knew what they was doing from the previous game.
And to see that there was one person on the Lakers that actually took 12 shots, Aiton took
12 shots he shot most.
Now that's doomsday for the Lakers.
If you letting him take the most shots and you got LeBron out there, he's not being the guy
he was in the first three games.
So, Shangoon, like I said, he looked trashed.
whole series. I don't know what's been going on. Even the 33 points, I didn't like that.
But this game was a little bit different because they all shared the sugar. They all moved the
ball. I still don't like that. E. May don't got no plays for those guys to put them in position
to score where they still just at the top of the key trying to, you know, make moves and
shoot the ball. But when Reed Sheper is hitting, when Easton's hitting, when Javari's hitting,
they got a chance to beat anybody, with or without KD. But that's any team in the league.
If you're hitting shots, you can win. If you're missing shots,
bro, you're getting your ass blown out.
So I think that was the difference between this game and the last game is Marcus Smart was hitting shots.
Luke Kinnar was hitting shots.
Rui was hitting shots.
Everybody was hitting shots.
They blew him out.
I think this time they just didn't hit shot.
Shot 22 from the three, 22% from the three.
When you're a team and you hitting over 40% from three, you have a better chance to win.
I think this next game is going to be something that you need to focus on getting the ball.
out of LeBron's hands later than earlier.
Because the earlier he gets rid of the ball,
the more they have a chance to pass it around
and get the open shot,
I think you wait till deep in the shot clock
to get it out of his hands
where somebody's taking the late shot clock.
And I think that's a better strategy for Houston
if they want a chance to get the score down
and win the game.
But other than that, I'll go six, Lakers and Six.
Lakers and Six.
I mean, this could easily be two to two right now.
Yeah.
The Rock is in trick off game three.
Yeah.
But Lakers stepped up in that moment.
Brown clutch three.
Big three.
As he tends to do.
Big three.
It was some dumb shit going on, but it was a big three.
Good defense.
No, it wasn't a good defense.
Being a goat.
That's the shit that happened in the Duke game.
Reefers got Oakie Duck, you know.
Identifying the weak link.
End them with the Okie Duck.
We can't take away from the Rockies.
Game 4 win of the Lakers to keep their season alive, shift the series back.
the series back to Los Angeles?
Yeah.
They played desperate.
Desperate basketball.
Backs against the wall.
Don't want your season to end.
And they went out in front of their home crowd
and used that, that energy.
They could have easily the way game three ended
through the towel in.
The emotion of the game.
that let down of game three, having pretty much the game one and tricking it off.
But they bounce back and to be in that position is like when you fighting for your season,
you never know what your level of energy that you have to think you're playing hard before,
But for your season not to end, there's another level that you have to go to.
And I think the Rockets realize that.
And hopefully they can bring the same energy on the road.
The Lakers play well at home.
They shoot the ball well at home.
But the old San go defense travels.
So you got to have a low turnover game.
Same thing, man.
The low turnover is you got to keep, limit them to one shot, one bad shot.
They did a better job of paying attention to where Lou Kinnard was.
Making them put the ball on the deck and everything's like that.
So, yeah, he's going to play better at home.
So, no, he just got to pay attention to the game playing, man.
Defense travels, man.
You got to bring that defensive effort.
And we'll see if you make shots or not.
But you got to make it a dog fight.
Let's shift over this side of the couch, Mr. B.
Reaction to the Rockets, taking game four to keep this series alive.
I mean, this series is over and five.
The Lakers, they just took, they fell up the guys.
They looked like they were just trying to get this game over with,
turned the ball over a lot, only three people in double figures and scoring.
I mean, Houston played well.
I mean, like Kenyon said, they played like the backs against the wall.
So they did what they were supposed to do.
But this is over.
This is over.
I've been telling you all, Houston was overrated all fucking year.
Have you been doing that, Mr. B.
Yeah.
Also, I feel like if they had Jalen Green and,
and Brooks.
It's a different series,
and I think they get the Lakers out of here,
but they went ahead and made a choice
and a decision.
They gave up on the youth.
Oh, yeah, man, this series been over
in the game, too.
Once KD came back and realized
he didn't have a chance.
That doesn't be sad.
Fuck this.
Fuck this.
My ankle hurt.
He said, what's my knee?
He came back and said, I ain't got a chance.
I ain't got a chance.
We ain't got a chance.
He just said, fuck this and left.
And, you know, at 40, sometimes you get tired, LeBron,
you know we won this.
They all know.
Savings energy, come back home, game five.
Going back to L.A. anyway.
Want to extend this series just a little bit,
obviously, with the Thunder getting the sweep.
It's hard to delay the start of that season.
It's hard to make great every game at 40s.
So, you know, he got to come back game five at Beast.
You know, he didn't take, he didn't take, what, 10 shots, nine shots?
No, like that.
Two for nine, his third lowest scoring out.
You could tell they was all just...
Yeah, they did what they had to do.
They went down and got one, right?
For sure, man.
Yeah, you were pound house money in game four.
Yeah, you know, tell house money in game.
Come on, Vegas, like, I don't like that for the Lakers, though,
because they don't got the type of roster, you could turn it on to it off.
They're going home, though.
Not with them.
Yes.
Those guys out there?
You can't turn it on.
At home, at home, I feel way, but at home we are.
Momentum, bro.
It's not going to happen.
It's not going to happen.
It's not going to happen.
It's over at five.
Y'R might come back game five.
Mm-five.
Bro, the momentum is nasty.
It's over.
No, this shit is over.
It's over, man.
Come on, it's over.
Yeah, this shit is over.
Two-threat.
Yeah.
Brom had that shot.
Like, Brown took nine shots, dog.
Come on.
Hey, I'm put all this shit in this gas thing for game five, man.
Yeah.
Tell me, I'm tired.
For real.
I'm tired.
I was playing golf.
I did what we had to do.
Go get me a round of two-in, man.
Go ahead for game five, bro.
Nah, man.
That's over.
It's over.
Lakers also had the potential to get Austin Reed.
So Austin Reed was crush him up for game four.
Hey, shit, put him out there, another body.
Another threat.
Bring him off the bench.
Yeah.
Brian, don't fuck up the impressive run you had with me.
Listen, man.
He's 41st our housebler.
Hey, listen.
Hey, I'm very fucking impressive.
All that is,
Take a fucking step back,
you know,
taking a day off.
It's going to read
it's going to read
fucking T-time and
shit.
Ron and Brunty got
Houston out of here
in five.
All this is,
right,
the Lakers just doing,
right?
Me and Pops.
All they're doing,
you know,
you've been fucking up
at school, right?
And your mom,
hey, you know,
you'll get your ass
when you get home.
Right,
that's all this shit is
when the second round
waiting,
Oklahoma City waiting
at the door
at the belt.
This is a different,
yeah,
yeah,
yeah,
that's what's happening.
That's what happened for sure.
Wait at the door is a bell.
Don't prolong this fucking ass woman.
You know you're doing everything you can.
Oh yeah.
Before you get home, right?
We go around the back and see you with anybody in the back.
Can I go?
They decide to walk home.
You ain't never have nobody.
You're not going to the neighbor door.
You see my mama yet.
She came home?
Yeah, she.
Yeah, she's in there.
She's in there.
She's thumped up the stairs too.
They slammed the door behind.
Motherfucking keys and just trying to get in that house, boy.
Yeah.
You can always run away.
You gotta pack your bag
You gotta go in there and pack the bag first
Go ahead
She forgets and misses you
And pull down
This shit is over though
The leg is
No leg is there
This shit's a wrap
But Houston
Yeah
Houston we have a problem
But let's talk about it
Because I've been concerned
The Lakers were just playing too good
I feel like in the first two games
I asked how sustainable it was last
When you guys
Thought it would be
Down 6
With 26 seconds ago in game 3
Meltdown from the Rockets
End up winning in overtime
Obviously, we're all very excited about it.
Some of us.
Some were excited, but...
Other things we need to wear, but LeBron, eight turnovers
in back-to-back games.
It was age.
It was his age.
He's 41 shots, so either way.
We're going to have a narrative for either way.
This game was all an age game.
I mean, 41 years old.
But Lakers have had 20 plus turnovers
in three of the four games in series.
And it was up three nothing.
So, I hear you.
Rockets had a franchise record,
17 steals in game four.
I just want to know how concerning is the Lakers' ball security issues moving forward.
It doesn't seem sustainable to have these 20-plus turnover games.
Oh, it's not, you can't do this.
You can't do it when you're shooting 50 percent of the road.
You can't have it any of the turnovers on the road and expect to beat anybody.
Well, you got to look at it.
It's very concerning, no.
Because, I mean, shit, they play OKC next round.
So, and OKC is.
They're not talking about O'KC.
We're talking about the King, what he's doing now.
Yeah.
No, they said the Lakers, the Lakers, the Lakers turnover is concerning, yes.
For this series.
For this series.
I know, but I'm saying.
But moving forward, though, I mean, I'm just saying, next series,
OKC is like second, they're like second internal.
We know what that is.
Internal racial.
We know what that is.
No, it's just like the separation of LeBron showing you all,
like a big difference.
What's the difference?
It's a big difference in Goateness.
Like, well, that's all he's showing y'all with this.
We ain't worried about OKC.
Yeah.
There's a big difference in goateness.
Yeah.
Okay.
You should.
If y'all turn on over the ball like this for OKC against OKC,
y'all can't.
This is our championship.
Brandon. They ain't got to turn that bitch over to it that way.
This is our championship.
This is our championship.
Getting out of the first round.
Versus KD. It was like LeBron versus KD. This is our championship.
Oh, okay. So, okay. If we're watching film, right,
progressively through a series, are we not identifying some things that we see our habits and routine for the other team?
We're seeing it was like, all right, this was what they was doing for the first three games.
Game four they did this. We came in with a game plan for what they've been doing for the first three games.
three games, we execute our game
plan. Going into game
five, what is it that the Lakers are going to
do differently that we're going to
all of a sudden
change our dog?
Beesmole.
You say him, put his head down, get fouls.
Like game one?
They're not going to play like that on the road?
Like, they play, I mean, they was at home.
You see he don't take nine shots
in this game? No, I don't. I'm saying
he can still have eight turnovers.
Because the turnovers came from him
playing in the slot, him playing in the same position he'd been playing in, but they changed
their defense.
Man, that was the difference to me.
So I'm saying, like, if we're watching film, I'm looking at it like, all right, look what we did
in game four.
Look what we did in game two, three.
We need to play more like game four for us to have a chance to win.
Because they're not bringing in anybody different that's going to change.
Austin Reese.
Austin Reed.
It's going to change the detriment of how we play defense.
Austin Reed.
Austin Reed is Lou Kandard.
Same guy.
That's another, man.
Same guy.
Bro, that's another 20.
One of them got to sit down.
That's another 20.
One of them got to sit down.
One of them got to come up.
Another 20 points.
But if we do what we're supposed to do, it's up to them to make shots.
Like, they can't shoot 22 from three.
They won't.
They won't.
They won't.
That's why they got their head.
They're about three.
They got that thing in park, man.
What is it?
Lakers in five?
Hey, they win and got one, man.
Turned over.
And nothing going to watch.
Watch.
Game five is right.
And you got game three, two.
So hey, listen, and we fucking around
and get game four, we got
one. Yeah. All right, go
home. The Lakers went up
because they was doubling that shit at the
top of the key. Yeah, Lakers and Five.
Like they was guarding KD.
KD mucking it up. KD.
set his ass down. It came close to
winning game three, right? Did they not come close to
winning game three? They should have won game three. Why?
Because KD was not
bringing the ball up, and they wasn't
doubling. That was the Lakers scheme for them.
The Lakers feel like they had a scheme
specifically for the Rockets for KD.
Game two, we're going to show y'all.
Game one was the first game where they're like,
we don't know what we're going to do without KD.
So game three come, we got a chance
to beat these dudes.
On our own, we fucked that up.
So you're betting against the Lakers, this, huh?
You're going to bet against them?
Since you're saying all this, there's just been.
I'm waiting to the end.
I got enough time.
You can't wait till the end.
I got an hour to think about it.
Let me think about it.
Okay.
They got an hour to think about it.
So till the end.
Lakers may get Austin,
dreams back, Durant commenced the remainder of the series while dealing with that long
group.
He didn't think so.
Nah.
There was talk about, I think Damon Minuteman had a report that the other Rockets
players didn't really know what was going on with Katie.
He didn't.
He tried to make a big ditch deal about it.
But you guys players, how are aware of other teammates and what they have going on with
their injury situations throughout the course of a season or in a playoff series?
The motherfucker like him, look.
I need to know if he's playing or not.
You need to see him walking in.
Getting treatment, hold on.
Yeah, I need to see if he-
Hey, man, Thompson was like, I don't know,
honestly what's going on with him, but shit.
Yeah, if you're playing or not.
Something, yeah, that's all.
Game two.
He came in, he was like, nah.
Nah, that ain't, we ain't got a chance.
Like, with me or without me.
Waving by to Aden after he got ejected.
Hmm.
I did see that.
I did see that.
Interesting.
159.
Look at that.
What's that.
What's that, what's that?
What are talking about in a second?
You know, we cover all the topics.
Here, Gills, Reina, presented by Underdog Woo-Woo.
159 teams have been down.
3-0 in the NBA playoffs.
Exactly zero of them have come back to win the series.
But as you look at this, do the Rockets have any hope of turning this series around?
Nope.
I asked her question for a reason.
Go ahead and sit.
You know where hope is.
It's hope.
Dance for dollars.
The Barb Rico.
I'm talking about a fine establishment.
Hope dancing for dollars.
I mean, they're down 3-1.
I mean, 13 teams
have came back from a down 3-1
so, I mean, I don't know.
It would be bad for the storyline,
I'll tell you that.
Oh, that'd be crazy there.
That'd be very, very bad
for the storyline.
Let's bet that.
Let me tell you how bad that is
for the storyline.
If you get your ass put out
by the Houston Rockets with no KD,
watch out, my name.
With no Luca and no Austin Roe.
Like, you got to move out of Tate.
like the new Mexico.
He ain't even supposed to be up three-o.
So don't know say that.
I don't know what you can't say that.
It don't matter who's on.
With Katie, you got Luke andor.
Mark is Mark and
LeBron James, the big fella beating on their ass right now.
That team ain't supposed to win.
It's not.
It's not.
But they're there.
All right?
So now you lose it all?
They're not gonna lose it all.
That's correct.
Y'all saying, hope and if.
It's crazy right there.
Do they have a chance?
No.
No.
I think this is over.
Damn.
Fuck.
I think this is all.
I think this is over in five, and I think they get back to the drawing board in the summertime and move KD.
We got a chance.
We always got a chance.
We always got a chance.
No, I just don't think he fits there.
He didn't want to be there anymore.
He's done after this year.
He's done after this year.
I mean, unless they can get somebody to come in, but again.
Again.
Well, I said the same shit about James, so I was wrong there.
Well, I said it at the beginning of the season.
I said if he don't win.
Clippers was James' last stop.
So I was wrong with that one, and I thought Houston would be it.
But if y'all said, I don't.
I mean, I'm just saying that he can't be the, he don't have to be the leader at any one of those teams.
Timberwolves.
Listen, I'm telling you, if they have Democrats in Green, this series looks different.
He wants to be good.
You want to see.
All right, so let's talk about that Aidan's situation, a questionable moment in the game with Aiden and Shangoon.
Let's take a look at that video, if we can, please.
My good man, Ian.
So Aitin was ejected.
The game is hitting Shangoon in the head with his left one.
Replays make it a look a little bit more, damn.
Shit.
What the heck?
Player midway through the third quarter with the Rock is up 19.
It slipped, though.
I slipped off his shoulder.
You see Gucci Ref, James Williams right there.
Gucci Ref.
Your name is Gucci, Ref.
Addu Thero also ejected later in the game for no apparent reason.
So after game, Aiden and E.M. Adduca had this.
reaction to the flagritor.
You know, I was just playing hard and, you know, my elbow, you know, slipped up and got
him above the shoulders and it looked crazy on camera, you know.
The outcome of what the results were, you know, I accepted, but definitely it was an intention.
I don't play like that.
Is that true that's your first ejection?
Yeah, I think so.
It is my first ejection.
I've never, yeah, there you go.
Big Tenney beer.
It's my first one.
I mean, it looked intentional, you know, but I was surprised with Flageantirton.
You know.
But that's the NBA nowadays and they call it a little softer than they used to
call it a little softer than they used to shangoon also didn't think it should have
been a flagrant too but let me ask you and our expert panel did DeAndre aden deserve a
flagrant two without playing on shangoon? Nope nope nah that was weak contact of the head
or neck area best it we slipped sweaty and like from his track
He's not even that type of play.
Big Tenies, you see how he was looking?
The NBA wanted to win that game anyway, so.
Yo, JC cuts his hair, man.
He's a fan of the show.
Are resident barber, JC?
I miss for Aiden.
Aiden has been playing much better.
Ever since J.C. went over there and cut his hair.
I'm telling you, Aiden, I'm saying, Aiden, I'm saying, J.C. line you up.
You straight.
Well, the lineup was cricket, but.
That's what I jump shot a little left
The head to it
Take the picture, nigga
I got my shit, right?
Go ahead, take a picture
All right
All right
You may have a cricket line up in the near future
Oh, man, God
commentary
He's just sprayed black in the shit
He's just spraying black anyway
So you ain't even
I'm fucking with Jaycee
I'm fucking with you
I'm fucking with you
You do be spraying that black
What?
I was like bro, I'm not losing it
I got tattoo in my head
Like, nigga
I don't need all that black shit
Sprint all that black shit
Start sweating
Conversation about
Aiden's flagrant 2 quickly turned
Tricked lineups
is spraying black shit
In the hair
Okay
All right well let's keep
The Sting moving
Let's stay in the West
Where the Blaz
tricked off a golden opportunity to take control of their series against the Spurs in game three
after blowing a double-digit lead to a Spurs team that was without Victor, Wimbenyama,
also known as Victor Wamba Wamba, here in the arena.
San Antonio got some good news an hour before Game Force tip-off when Wemby cleared the league's
concussion protocol was available to play.
So San Antonio found themselves in familiar territory in the first half as the Blazers took
a 17-point lead into the break.
And much like game three, the Blazers proceeded to trick off that double-digit lead
with another epic meltdown on their home court.
Let's look at the highlights, if we can, please.
Spurs opened the second half with a 13-0 run
to cut the deficit to four.
Did not look back from there.
They outscored the Blazers 73 to 35
in the final two quarters of the game.
Wimby stuffed the stat sheet with 27 points,
11 rebounds, seven blocks, and four steals.
Lemmy became the first player
with at least 25 points and five blocks
in his first career postseason road game.
Dearen Fox had a game high 28 points, including 18 in the second half,
along with seven assists and six rebounds.
And Stefan Castle followed up his 33 performance in game three
with 16 and 8 dimes while playing through a left-hand injury.
Blazers turned the ball over 18 times,
which led to 28 points for the Spurs.
San Antonio plus 14 in points in the paint.
Portland also held the 32% from three,
And there were three of 15 from distance in the second half.
So the series now heads back to San Antonio, which he spurs up 3-1.
Man.
Yeah.
Damn.
Y'all want to trade that?
Take his ass.
That was a trial, bro.
Also situated against the podcast, Danny Aver.
Wait, wait, wait.
Inches boiling over.
Did he punch him?
Oh.
No.
Danny obvious.
Feel the ball in his chest.
Ledgers fans, still no playoff t-shirts.
Did he slap them after that?
No, you pushed him.
Oh.
Still, still, still, no playoff t-shirts in Portland with their frugal ownership.
Man, you've seen that?
That may go check out.
Two-way players actually got to travel, though.
No late checkouts, it's crazy.
Be out that room at 11 a.m.
No late checkers.
Don't even ask for him.
See if he still got a job with Portland.
You know, he cut in the chefs.
He said, not too many chefs.
I gotta see if my boy he duff still over there.
Damn.
Go to Burger King, hit the value mill.
Swaggy, what did the Spurs show you in their game
or win over the Blazers?
I don't know, I haven't really been,
this year is pretty boring to me.
Wimby's gonna do what he's gonna do.
I like the fact that they stepped up to the play
without Wemby, the game two.
But they just overmatched.
Portland is just overmatch for
They got too much firepower with Fox, Wimby, Kassel, Mugiser, looking like they're ready,
for sure, and you gotta give them credit at what they're doing, being young, first time in the playoffs.
It don't look like that right now.
They look like they stepped up to every challenge.
They've been down for one half and coming back and not folding under pressure, so they're looking good.
You know, there's nothing that you can really say.
It's just like the OKC sons serious to me.
A little different than that.
I think Blazers had double-digit leads
in these past two games at the crib.
Tricked them both off.
But let's shift over just side, Kenyon.
What did the Spurs show you in their game for
when over the Blazers?
The elite defensive team,
with the win-be out there as well as without,
but with him, they are,
different monster to be down the way they were and fight back and claw on the
defensive end and put themselves in position man to yeah one of the largest
comebacks in playoff history to be down 15 plus and win by 15 plus that
doesn't happen in playoff basketball as that's that's well not something that we
Seeing a lot of but not they
As soon as a good team man
And
So you remember
Was it game
What school had 31? He said he woke up and
It said when he woke up came two
He brushed his teeth yeah
Yeah he said when he brush his teeth is when he
So what's going on with them
Like you ain't
May not
Yeah he might be mouth washing it
He's going
That's funny
He ain't brushing them shit
That's funny
You see, my shit's still clean from the other day.
That's funny.
Always brush it, do not.
You can't just mouthwash.
Do not just mouthwash.
You can't just mom wash.
It may feel fresh.
It feels fresh.
He's talking about, uh, school.
Because the reporter asked him, the game he had 31, he asked him, when did you know you was going to have a good game?
He said, when I woke up and, like, be more specific.
He said, well, what did you do when you went through?
Like, I brushed my tea.
Then I thought about it.
Then I watched my face.
And then I thought about it.
31 in game 2, 21 in game 3.
Zero.
In game 4 and 27 minutes.
Shit.
For game 3, Wemby didn't play.
So that was a game they were supposed to rally.
In game 2, Wemby?
He got hurt.
Yeah, but no, man, you just got to, yeah,
there's statements like that, you got to be like,
no, you should wake up, energize, and ready to play.
The point I was making, so the point I was making another day when I was talking about it,
you should wake up all the time, feel like it's going to be a good day and a good day in the office, right?
Shouldn't be because you had 31.
Yep.
Right?
Like, you should feel that way every day you get up and be happy and energized to be able to do this.
Right?
So that's the point I was making.
But, yeah, now, this series is over.
Yeah.
It's going, yeah, in dramatic fast, you.
I don't think it's going to be close.
They play tonight.
Yeah, I don't think it's going to be close.
And I met Wimby has proven
that he can play 35 plus minutes a night.
So with that, it's, yeah.
Trying to mess up my little introduction.
Well, what I'm saying?
Wimby's very, very good.
He is.
But I really like the dynamic of a team
being able to go and play off basketball
for the first.
time and handle adversity being down 15, right?
To be able to turn it around, the type of poise you have to have, because this is what
I love about the game is when it's a game of runs and you have to overcome the fact
that you're down and you're looking at the scoreboard and you're like, damn, we're down 15.
It's just the first half.
We've got enough time.
But it's like you have to have everybody in cohesion to understand that this is a game
runs. We've got plenty of time to get back in the game. One stop at a time. One stop at a time.
Now, when you don't have a defensive stopper that can actually help you get those stops like
Wemby does, it's harder to believe in the comeback. And I think that was kind of the difference
with the Warriors when they were winning. They knew that their cohesive defense could get stops
and they can go down and score quickly. And I think this is the same type of dynamic, but with a bigger
defender and not as much cohesion as the warriors had because I think they just all knew how to
play together and they all was very savvy. But this one is more athletic, more attention to detail,
and you got a rim protector and a rebounder that can go out there and say, listen, all we need to do
is get a stop and we're going to come down on the other end. We either going to attack, we're going to
hit our threes, we're going to hit our free throws, we will go to offensive glass, we're going to drive.
I love that dynamic as a team and it helps you not have to worry about being down.
I think that's the best part about the Spurs and what I love about the MVP, Victor Wenbignana
is that he does it on both ends and you can't count him out because you don't know if he's going to have an on-night on the three-point.
You don't know if he's going to be driving.
Anytime he dives to the basket on a pick and roll, it's a lob.
That's the most serious lob thread in the league right now.
And you got willing passes and Fox and Castle, then you got guys that can hit threes with Barnes and Champany and Vassell.
You got a dynamic that I love.
And, you know, being down, it's cool for Portland, but the next series, you're going to have to tighten up.
And you can't really give up those discrepancies in a close game and a close series in the next round.
So everything that I see with the Spurs is exactly what I predicted.
If the Spurs do advance, they see the winner of the Wolf Nugget series.
But let's shift over to you, Mr. B.
Reactions to the Spurs taking game for Wimby, getting clear from concussion protocol coming through, dropping 27.
He's having blocks, four steals.
Yeah.
I mean, first time, you know, the Spurs are in the playoffs.
They're showing it.
You know, the whole year that they've been having.
But, man, shout out to Darren Fox for the game that he had.
You know, on the road, being able to hit shots and being able to, you know, do what he do.
But I'm excited for the Spurs, man.
I want to see what they do next series because this series is over.
But, you know, Portland's still on the up and up, though, you know.
You know, I'm curious to see what Portland does from here on out because they got some talent over there.
They got some guys and stuff like that.
But, you know, it's just a bad matchup, you know, going against Winby and the Spurs right now.
So, yeah, man, you know, Spurs are going to get a lot of rest.
They'll be, because they're going to need it for that next one.
Because that burping babies over there, and he's coming.
Yeah.
Obviously, they will be playing Saturday.
Birds, if you do advance, you obviously would rather see what the timber was right now over the luggage.
Hell yeah.
San Antonio Hope Minnesota get it done.
Yeah.
Yeah, they've had a hope.
Short-handed?
Well, we know where Hope works at.
You know what I'm saying?
They're short-handed, though?
Well, yeah.
Yeah, they short-handed.
Anybody want to play Minnesota right now.
Unfortunately.
Let's end the second round.
Where you could rest or someone?
Let's talk a little, Deer & Fox quickly.
Spurs move Wimby off the ball second half,
capitalized on defensive mismatches
as the players have struggled to adjust.
So when they tried to go back
to putting Drew Holliday on Wemby,
D.R. Fox got to cooking with his best game of the series.
D. Fox scored 18 of his game high
28 points in the second half, including 11
in the fourth quarter.
quarter. So shot is this Deer and Fox, the one the spurs need if they want to go deep in the
playoff? Yes, absolutely. Best game of this series? Absolutely. He was aggressive. He was attentive.
He was being a leader. He knew the mismatches were going to go in his favor. And every time I
see them play, I always say none of those guys can afford to have a bad game. They all got to
play solid for them to win. So I think with Deeran Fox being the leader of the team and really
leading by example, he has to go out there and he has to assert his will. He has to play early.
He has to get to the line. He has to get to his shots. I think when he does play bad, it's because
he's trying to see what everyone else is going to do. He doesn't really set the tone.
And that's even going to Wemby's credit and discredit because they actually look for him to set
the tone. But I think it's the point guard that sets the tone, whether it's the aggressive
downhill, coming around, the picking rows, turning the corners, getting guys in. And you
and great shooting positions.
And it starts with him.
So I think this particular game, he set the tone.
And Drew Holiday had to make a decision.
Who are you going to go?
Come over here, I'm going to cook him.
He don't know how to guard me.
You're the only guy who know how to guard me.
And you can't go guard me and Winby at the same time.
So I think it's just, it's in there with Drew Holiday trying to figure that out.
But De Aaron Fox showed up, and I think he's going to continue to show up
throughout the playoffs if he keeps his energy.
For Mr. B, is this the version of Deer Fox that the Spurs need if they want to try to make a D-Playoff?
Yeah, Clutch.
You need Clutch, D. Fox.
Because it's going to be times in this next year is going up that you're going to need him a lot because, you know, he's the only one with, well, and him in Harrison Barnes, the only one with playoff experience.
So, you know, this is his coming out party.
And he's with a great group of young corps right now that's very hungry.
So, yeah, the time is now for him to take that now.
next league.
Harrison Barnes, very limited minutes in this postseason, but you're seeing guys like
Stefan Castle step up, guys like Dylan Harper.
Harper, yeah.
I'm right, I think, what, 22 in the second half in that game three wins, scored 27 in
that game.
Yeah.
Was going at the Blazers as a young buck.
But back to Deering Foxx, why, is this the Deering Fox that the Spurs need?
Yeah, and just the fact that you can hear all the noise and people saying this and that,
never really feel appreciated and you still go out there and play the game and ball.
That's the Fox they need because now he, before they've been trying to change this game
to fit what people think the Spurs need and he let Wimby does everything, he's past the ball
too much.
But when he gets into being Fox, I think that's when they're that best, they're scared.
And if he continue to keep that same flow confidence.
The Spurs are gonna be tough, man, because he is a closer.
He is a superstar in his league and he just don't get the treatment, I feel like.
Jared Fox, Superstar.
Superstar?
Yeah, it's a superstar in his league.
Like, super.
And I see you looking at Swaggy?
That's crazy.
You don't agree?
He's a superstar?
Like, man, we just talked about this shit the other day, girl.
The star, a superstar is like...
No, what you think of a superstar is like LeBron?
He's not like LeBron or nothing, no, but he's on that level.
On what level?
It's not a superstar.
No, no, so it's either you're a superstar.
He's an all-star.
He's an all-star.
Okay.
It's not a superstar.
It's not the same thing.
We just had this conversation another day.
We just, you guys just said Devin Booker is on the same level with SGA.
Yeah.
As a superstar.
No, it's not.
How?
Because they talent.
The talent.
We're not talking.
I'm never talking about, I'm never talking about the accomplice.
And all of that.
No, that makes you a superstar.
You become a star.
You become an all-star?
That don't mean you're a superstar.
I know that.
But I'm saying the fact that DeAaron Fox, they picked him over Luca, right?
They picked him because he had the potential to be.
It's the potential.
No, because he's a perfect.
He's a better fit.
He's a superstar guard.
He's a superstar guard in the league.
No, a superstar?
That's like saying Donovan Mitchell, not a superstar.
It's not a superstar.
Donovan Mitchell is a superstar.
Donovan Mitchell is not a superstar.
For sure.
Okay.
What are y'all? Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
For sure.
S.J. is a superstar, right?
He's a megastard.
S.J. is now a megastor.
I think he's been there.
He's an MVP in the league.
Like, Joker's a megastar.
There's Janus.
These are guys that you look at.
So it's a megastar, then the star.
All-Star.
So where does Deer and Fox fit in that?
We just said, Superstar.
He's a second.
No, he's not.
Oh, damn.
No, he's not.
So him and Booker not on the same level?
No, Devin Booker is bigger, no, Devin Booker is bigger.
Yeah, he's a bigger start than Deer in Farran.
Why?
Why?
Yeah, why?
All of it.
For all of it.
For one, he got a signature shoe.
The fuck he has a signature shoe at night.
For one, he has a star.
Austin Reed.
With, so does Clay Tucker?
With who?
With Nike?
With who?
With Nike?
No.
Tyrese, Tyrese, uh, Maxy had a signature shoes.
With Nike?
Tyree, no, no.
They got signature shoes?
No, no, we're talking about Nike.
Like, bro, Nike's not just dipping.
First of all, if you get a, hold on, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, look, listen.
Ain't nobody going to foot lock.
You know, let me get some Tyresee.
Is PG a superstar?
Yes.
Yes.
Ain't nobody.
What you, what you mean?
He's a, he has a signature.
If you have a signature shoe with Nike,
how big you are?
You're how big you are.
You're a fox has a signature shoe with underarmber, Brendan.
With Curry brand, not with Curry brand.
What?
So what store can you go to besides an underarmor store and get Dairn Fox's shoes?
You know, I'm a fan of the outlet.
I'm saying under, underarmor outlet.
And we're not saying Daring Fox isn't good, but, whoa, whoa.
He's a really good basketball player.
He's a really good basketball player.
You just stuck up.
You just thought, he's on the same level as dead and book.
He's on the same levels.
He's patented.
So it's Tyreez Halliburian.
This is Tyree's Hallibur and Superstar?
Hold on, let me ask you a question.
Tyree's Hallibur and the Superstar?
No.
Let me ask you a question.
No, not a question.
I'm making step.
This man has been playing in Sacramento.
Like, y'all like this man they've been playing in Sacramento.
Like, the heart.
Where is the family?
Phoenix is a bigger market.
What do you mean?
What do you mean?
What do you mean?
John Morin plays in Memphis.
I'm talking about the game.
John Morin has a signature shoe with Nike.
Y'all talking about.
The last two years, he just put out the best.
He's just without the best.
Dary and Fox is not a superstar.
I'm about the same level skill level.
You're talking about skill.
Y'all talking about popularity.
No, y'all are people in the lead that more popular than everybody that's not a star star.
Y'all says superstar to be a superstar in the league, a superstar dog?
So is a lamello ball and Deering Fox the same?
I like Lamello Ball.
I'm asked the same level.
The same level?
Lamello ball is a superstar.
You say he is a superstar.
See?
Thank you.
Yes.
Lamello is a superstar.
That's my question.
The Darren Fox is a superstar.
No, it's not.
No, for sure.
No.
Oh, what?
What?
Oh, the Mello Ball was a superstar in high school.
The Mellow Ball was a superstar in high school.
Yeah, Aaron Fouss was a superstar in Kentucky.
He was a superstar in Kentucky.
He was a superstar in Kentucky.
He was a superstar.
Before.
So therefore, this man was a superstar.
So before we got to the NBA, we were super star.
Darren Fawkes is not a superstar.
He's not.
He's not a super.
He's a very good basketball.
He's a very good basketball.
I'm not a basketball player.
I swear to God, but he's not a superstar.
You got to be marketable to be a superstar, bro.
Game-wise, are they on the same level?
No.
Game-wise?
Game-wise?
Game-wise?
They're not on the-
game.
On the same level as, uh...
De-book.
De-book, um...
fucking ball, he's not on that level.
I'm going with D-Bus.
Skill-wise?
I'm going with D-Book on that one.
I'm going with D-Book on that one.
I'm sorry.
Skill-wise?
Yeah, skill-wise?
Popularity-old.
You go with D-Buck.
Skill-wise?
Skill-wise on the court.
I'm talking about straight basketball.
Plan ball.
He's a superstar.
He's a superstar.
He's an all-star.
When y'all say basketball, I put him here.
Okay, cool.
We're not saying anything.
We're not saying anything more than that.
No, but y'all.
Y'all said superstar.
You don't say superstar.
That's exactly what he's talking about.
You guys are talking about his game.
You guys are talking about skill level.
A superstar, you got to be.
Bucker is not a superstar.
Booker is a superstar.
Basketball.
I don't know about just basketball.
squad.
Booker is not a super star.
You crazy?
I got a signature shoe at Nike.
I got a signature shoe crazy.
Man, that's crazy.
You're crazy.
You don't see nobody wearing.
So there's still one of suit.
Everybody in Arizona wearing them shit.
He got the, he got the, he made the same.
Just basketball.
Just basketball.
Super basketball.
Superstar talent.
Superstar talent.
Nike.
361.
Superstar talent.
I don't say.
Donnavin Mitchell has Superstar talent.
I'll put down to Mr.
Ball.
I'll put Donovan Mitchell over him in that regard.
If you were talking the skill set, like,
I'll put Donald Mitchell over Daring Fox for what he's done in the playoffs.
So you think D Fox and, uh, and, and, and,
the level of D. Buck is on the same level of skill level?
Skill, yeah, yes.
You just said trade David Booker and keep Jayne Green and fucking Booker.
I mean, the other things.
And Brooks.
Huh?
I said, superstar.
You said, you didn't say.
You definitely say, I would trade my superstar for these two guys.
Who?
Who?
So you said that last week, motherfucker.
You said keep Dellen Green and
And bro, and get rid of Booker.
No, no, well, I said get rid of KD.
KD.
No, no, no, no, no.
But KD don't play with the sons.
You're talking about the sons.
It's talking about the sons.
You're talking about Booker.
You said, get rid of books.
Yeah, you're going to live with these two.
Yeah, that's fine.
I'll take, yeah.
He's a superstar.
He's a superstar.
Take that he ain't won nothing in Phoenix,
so it's time to move around.
Okay, yes, I'll go back to Detroit.
That doesn't, he's still don't,
he's still going to be a superstar.
He's still a superstar, though.
Like, that don't change the skills.
Nike, what?
What?
He got to Detroit.
I'm a superstar.
Yes, he has a signature shoe.
Are you?
Who he has a signature shoe with Nike?
Nike.
Nike.
Where do you buy it at?
It's coming out.
Oh, it's coming out.
Oh, it's coming out so he don't have one.
Yes, he does.
Where is it?
Where is it?
It's coming out.
It's coming out.
It's the same thing like it.
Do you have to wait on John Morantz?
What you mean?
They announced Jai was getting the shoe,
then they release it later, right?
Everybody release it,
then they,
who had a shoe.
You're talking about David Kade.
K.
He has work in the K's shoe from.
He has a shoe coming.
He has a shoe coming.
He's in the game.
Joker don't got a super star.
He's not a superstar.
I don't say.
Jokin's not a superstar.
Basketball?
You would just never buy them, but he doesn't.
Jokker's not a super.
Are we talking basketball?
Joker's not with Nike.
Jokker's not with Nike.
Oh, we're talking to skis.
So this is what I'm asking.
So L&B, and he not a superstar?
Are we still just talking basketball?
Are we talking skill set?
Are we just talking basketball?
Yes, man.
So in that regard, Nicola is a mega-star.
I said that.
With just basketball.
Janice is a megastore.
All of these, there's tier levels that we're talking about.
Yeah, so Janice is a megastore when they come to basketball.
Skills, that's marketability, not all that shit.
Talk about who.
But if you're talking totality of it, Darren Foxx,
and they ain't nowhere near neither one of them guys.
So, we asked the chat because we-
He is not on the level of...
Our very esteemed chat,
driving off negativity day,
but chat,
we always appreciate you.
We said,
who's the biggest superstar?
The three options were
Dearon Fox, Devin Booker,
LeMello Ball.
Lamello Ball,
got 49% of the vote.
He didn't fucking close.
Devin Houserick got 42% of the vote.
Okay.
Deeran Fox, 10% of the vote.
Because the man had been playing in the soccer.
Nobody said he's...
But nobody's in context.
It's context.
Between that,
that vote is not context.
They're talking about the...
Same thing we're talking about.
Hey, I'm not talking about that.
I'm not talking about
20 more.
Hey,
Dave and Fox.
Give him 20 more games.
The Arrynnello ball lined up.
I'm talking about game.
Head up.
Give him 20 more guard names.
Deer and Fox ain't going to be listening.
He might be 20.
I'm not talking about popularity.
I'm talking about skills.
I'm talking about basketball.
I'm talking about basketball.
I'm talking about basketball.
Let's talk about it.
Who's done more?
Who averaged more?
Who averaged more?
Le Mello ball is a more accomplished basketball.
Over than that.
Oh my God.
This man was the most clutches guy in the NBA two years in a row.
One award that they just created.
Two years.
They just created this fucking award.
He got it.
Can you do Melo?
Can you do Melo ball versus D?
This man went to the play out one time.
Does that mean he done more?
No.
Does.
Definitely does.
No.
No.
No.
They were a three seed and got a motherfucker and knocked out about six seats.
Hold on, hold on.
Lamello ball, one-time All-Star, Rookie of the Year, all-rooky first team.
But was a JBA All-Star, shout out to Lavaar Ball, Great League.
And then D-Fox?
And a J-Bahs.
Do your basketball association, swag.
This fucking dude.
LeVar ball, hey, he won it.
And I was at the championship game.
And D-Fox?
D. Fox?
I believe, two-time All-Star.
Let me double track.
Okay.
Could be three.
Let me.
I'll get it off.
Probably three.
I know he was a...
He was definitely an all-star.
You know that.
Two-time.
All-Star.
The Clutch player of the year.
All-N-B-A 13.
Stills leader.
Yep.
And 20-23 clutch player of the year.
Okay.
I'm giving him that over Mello.
Giving him more.
Like I said, the skill.
The skill part.
The skill part.
Okay.
Not the skill part.
Not the skill part.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Who?
Who?
Yeah.
Yeah.
But when you say Superstar, that's not who.
That's not.
Now we're talking about everything.
Yes.
Yeah.
If you want to talk who, just say skill set.
Don't put that superstar.
We can't say we can't say Joker's a megastard.
I don't say that.
I wouldn't say that.
That's why I asked the question.
That's why I asked the question.
Are we just talking basketball or totally of the person?
Is Yogh is a megastar in the totality of the person?
Like if you saw Yogh is the airport, what do you have a crowd around?
A hundred percent.
Yes.
A hundred percent.
That's Joker.
Because somebody would recognize.
For sure.
Yon is Joker knows God.
Globally.
Yes.
Globally.
Yes.
Because you, listen, for one,
you walk through any place and you're seven to seven foot you're going to go people six eleven seven
foot listen all the fucking time so that's just for starters somebody gonna know who they are somebody
like that's nicola yoke's that's that's nikola yoke's and everybody going to be a coming so yes in that regard
yes but yeah yeah that superstar y'all i'm not putting de air and fox in that he's a he's a star though
360 wise it's a star for sure all well let's let's shit
back to Wimby very quick to someone want to get your guys opinion on. So Wimby's sideline for
game three. After failing to satisfy the league's return to participation, concussion protocol.
After game four, the alien has some interesting thing to say about the process for returning
back to the court. It took issue with the league's handling of the situation.
Can you explain the process of what it was like getting clear with the league? And you
mentioned to Malika that they're a part of you're happy about. Can you explain what that means?
I don't want to get into the details. I don't want it to become a destruction.
Asked me again after the end of the season.
But again, other doctors, especially on the spurs, but the doctors all around, they were great, took great care of me.
But the way the situation was handled was very disappointing, you know, not on the spurs again.
But I said I won't get into it. I'm not saying that that playing wasn't the good or bad to see me.
It wasn't it wasn't seen me. I must say it was a good as bad.
the way this is having the same.
At what point tonight did they let you know for sure you were going to be able to play?
Like how long did you have to wait?
I want to answer this question.
They, who do you mean by they?
Let me ask you the question.
Who do you mean by they?
Okay, I won't answer.
Just to clarify, it's not the Spurs staff at all.
It's the league-appointed doctor.
Yeah.
But again, the doctors on either side were great.
Oh, he's so good.
He's just professional right now.
Some interesting comments there for Wembe.
They muted his mic at one point.
So what you were hearing was just the internal mics.
Yeah.
External.
Did not have Sebastian Hackett.
The mics for the league.
Shout out Sebastian.
What's your reaction on the Wimby calling out the league
over their handling of his concussion?
try to make a PC but two shots
I don't know the protocol
so I don't if you've
if you've never had a concussion how you know
the way they handle it is wrong
right I don't I don't know
you know what I'm saying like
if his doctors are saying
he's good to go
then they're like
yeah we know he's good to go
but you go you're going to sit your ass down
this game but that's why
that's why it's two sides right
That's the same thing with the NFL, right?
If both sides are saying you're good,
and then the league comes in and says,
no, sit your ass down.
I did.
I got an issue.
No, I got an issue with that,
but I'm just saying as far as the concussion part of it.
I don't know the protocol.
I don't know what they was doing,
what they haven't done or did do or didn't do it.
So he had to sit, I think, 48 hours.
He was allowed to do condition 24 hours.
Certain things and all that.
He's mad about the, man.
He's him.
He wanted to play for game three.
He wanted to play. He felt fine.
He's saying the NBA is a suspect.
Not if he's clear.
I learned how to fall.
Yeah, he falls like that.
He got tripped.
Goof bag.
You goon, goofs, goof.
He's on his own feet.
Right.
That was a clear.
That was a clear trip.
That was a clear trip.
He tripped on his own feet.
He tripped on his own feet.
No, he tripped on his own feet.
No, he took their hands down.
Why he got the foul.
Stop, that's right.
We can play the hands down when he saw.
I can show you in slow motion.
But normal people fall on a trip.
A trip.
I can throw you a trip.
All right.
But you get tripped, it's surprising.
Yeah, okay.
Now, learn how to fall.
Man, I'm surprised.
Trip or no trip, nigga, learn how to fall.
Because you're mad at them for them.
Because you want to hit your face.
Yeah.
Damn, we thought you broke it.
Or don't.
Joe's jaw or shit.
You really want to play, motherfucker.
Don't say nothing.
Yeah.
I'm crazy.
Get up.
The doctor say everything.
Just get up.
Just get up.
Act like school.
I'm all right.
Do that.
The way you hit your damn head, I thought you was dead.
But he was.
He got his ass up and ran back to the back.
He's an alien, nigga.
What you talking about?
You made thick shit.
That nigger got up and went back there like everything was cool.
And then the day, the day later, he's like, no, I'm good to go.
Nah, nah, nah, nah, no, no, you're not good to go.
What you mean?
I'm not good to go.
I'm great.
I feel good.
You need me for.
I do tests, right?
I'm good.
That's why they said.
He was tripping.
Our doctors on our side, they were great.
Even the doctors in the league.
were great. But all this other bullshit
going on, I'm cool on that.
Hey, next question.
You just see me for? I'm professional.
Next question. Next question, bro.
I'm fine. I know
my body. I know how I feel. I'm good. Let me go.
Now, they ain't got nothing to do or nothing.
They do. No, it don't. If the doctors
clear him, it has everything
to do with everything. You know what it is.
Listen, you sit your ass in front of the computer.
They give your ass that combustion test, motherfucker.
And they cleared him.
No. Okay. They just say
They did it. Hey. Hey.
Your team did because they want you to play.
Yeah, they want you to play.
He just said doctors on both sides were good.
He didn't say they could clear it.
He said they were good.
He said everything.
He didn't say they cleared him.
He said they were great.
Okay, they were great.
The way they treated me, they were great.
He didn't say they cleared it.
So.
They, he was clear to go.
I think the NBA side,
very politically correct answer for the Frenchman,
but I think he said the NBA side basically stepped in
and said, sit your big.
Chill.
Yeah.
Chill.
Yeah.
We're trying to expand.
Let us see these results.
Yeah, let us get some more money off this next game.
We're good.
They don't have to.
It's a lot of that computer, and if your baseline test don't add up.
He should be happy as team one, right?
You shouldn't be happy.
I want to be out there.
Team one.
Let me be out there.
See what happened when I'm out there.
Why even ask that question?
They didn't lose.
That's fair.
They got to have something to write about.
You know, they want to be the one to write about it.
Socrates, blue.
All right, well, let's shift.
Let's shift over to the Eastern Conference.
He just love talking.
We'd be love talking.
Yeah, that's what he asked.
He's answering the questions.
Based to the league, Swig.
I'm here.
You're going to get over it.
You're going to get the fuck over it.
That's what you're going to do.
So Pistons had high hopes after locking up the top spot in the east.
But the Magic have had some tricks up their sleeve.
After stealing game one to take home quarter advantage,
then getting smacked in game two.
The Magic nearly blew a 17.4th quarter lead in game three.
As the Pistons went on a 26A run to take a one-point lead with under three minutes
remaining.
But Orlando ended that game on a 9-0 run
and proceeded to take a 2-1.
lead in the series. Pistons' backs were against the wall in game four, but the Magic didn't
take their foot off the gas. Let's take a look at the highlights. So Magic came out on fire
to start the game taking a 12-point lead early, but the Pistons responded with a 20-to-five run
to momentarily take control of the game, Detroit, led by 10 points in the second quarter.
Thanks to part to the plays by this to help stretch it out. Led by the game.
10 points in the second quarter.
Before the Magic went on a run
to take a two-point lead
in the break. You see
Waggie-Wagi right there.
Four of the five Magic Starters
Sport double figures, led by Desmond
Bain, who put 22 points.
Bain. Desmond Bain was 5 for 10 from Deep
with his former Grizzly's teammates, John Morant
and Jaron Jackson, Jr. sitting courtside
in Orlando cheering him on.
Bang. Wagner had 19 points in 24 minutes
before leaving the game late in the third quarter
with the right calf-sortness.
Halo, Bancaro, 18 and 8 boards, but was 4 of 18 from the field.
In Knocktown, 10 of his 13 free throw attempt.
Window Carter Jr. had 12.11 boards at 2 o'clock.
Okay, Cunningham, Leather Pissons with a game high 25 points, but he was 7 to 23 from the field.
Also had 9 rebound, 6 assists, and a game high 8 turnovers.
Cunningham's second player in NBA playoff issue to record 17 or more turnovers in a two-game span in the same postseason.
his 24 turnovers of the last three games most in league history.
Tobias Harris had 20 points and six boards.
Jayland Duren struggled again in this one.
12 points, 8 rebounds, four turnovers.
So both teams struggled offensive to get things going.
Game was back and forth in the final frame.
But Magic went on a 9-1 run late in that fourth quarter, never looked back.
Orlando Magic shot 32.6% from the field in game four.
fifth worst shooting percentage
in a playoff win in the
three-point era and worse since the
Raptors shot 32% in their win
over the Cavs Sunday. So they now take
a comfortable 3-1 series lead back to Motown
for Game 5.
And we'll start
with you.
Born in Michigan. Sagan off,
I'm not mistaken, but what are your biggest
takeaways from the Magic's Game 4 win over the Pistons,
the top-seeded Detroit Pistons, to take a
3-1 lead in this series?
Yeah, the magic coming to play.
They really think that they can beat the pisses.
You can tell the way they're playing.
But Kate is after the – he's asked – we've got to do too much, man.
There's a lot of dribbling, a lot of trying to force the ball back to him.
Other guys not looking to be aggressive at the time.
Most of the game, that's where the turnovers are coming in at.
He's not getting anything easy.
The magic I'm making it hard on him, but J.B. got to help him out and run a few different sets, I think, for him to slow the game down and get him some easier buckets.
I don't know how that is, whether it's putting the ball in Jenkins hand and putting K it off the ball.
I think you tried that late in the game four.
Had him on the floor at the same time, I think could be beneficial because Jenkins is looking for his own.
being Orlando
Orlando is
bringing it
you win game one of a series
on the road gives you confidence
throughout the series
and I think they are
they have capitalized on that
learning what we did to win
that game on the road
business came out
to do with that game two in order not to go
down two games at home
and came back and had a hell of
run that you don't see throughout games, especially play-out games.
30 to 3 or 30.
Yeah, something crazy.
But yeah, no, they backs against the wall, man.
Eight-seed, I guess Orlando is not a true eight-seed, you would say, the way they're playing,
but they are eight-seed right now.
And they're looking good.
Desmond Bain is leading the charge.
He's playing great.
Apollo is holding his own and whatever this thing.
that Wendell Carter and Jalen Duren has going on is obviously affecting the Pistons guy.
Effecting one of them.
Yeah, it's definitely affecting one of them.
But yeah, no, yeah, you got to go out and hoop, man.
Like, whatever, yeah.
That P-U-S-S-Y.
You know what I'm talking about?
They pull battleships, baby.
Hey.
But yeah, no, man, the imagine look good and they believe right now and they play with house money.
They play with house money so they know they can win on that floor.
So let's go.
Hey, they...
Another opportunity.
Is that the game or something?
It's spirit.
We were talking about it in a second.
It's spirit.
It's spirit.
Try, let's shift over to you.
Look at this Piston squad.
Sit that man a pitcher in his jersey.
Waring that man, Jersey.
Piston 60 win team.
Man, I ain't gonna front.
That number zero is a bad number right now.
It is.
It has lost its luster.
A lot of people are getting hurt with that number.
On and off.
It's starting to look bad.
It's almost like the fool's gold of the Detroit Pistons
leading up to this particular moment is revealing itself
because they don't look as good as advertised.
Looking at the roster, looking at the scouting report,
and looking at the games that's been played since the play in,
game one, starting with game one.
I always thought that this was a bad matchup for the Pistons because I feel like the magic have better players.
And when you have better players that have like an untapped potential, and it's based on the coach and how the coach believes in them,
Jamal being with his back against the wall and that play-in series between those games and not knowing whether or not he was going to be fired or not,
I can't say it fired the team up more than it did to put them all on notice that it's going to be on all.
of us if we don't surpass what we're supposed to. And I think the years leading up to this particular
moment, they always had potential being three to five in the east. And being a good team
emerging and being able to play good basketball throughout the years has been a testament to them.
But I think that they came in with a chip on their shoulder against Detroit, knowing in a game one,
taking game one and saying, oh, this is how we're going to play, this is how they going to play.
I think J.B.'s inconsistency with subbing in guys like Green, Jenkins, Sasser, all of the guys that play well.
Paul Reed, these are guys that played well throughout the season that helped him get that record and get the number one east in the east.
And I think that that's not being utilized at this moment.
Duncan Robinson ain't playing well.
Karris Levert is not playing well at all.
He can't dribble.
I don't know what's going on with him.
He could dribble in Cleveland.
You got to have that bitch on the string out there in Cleveland.
My bad.
I'm watching play out there.
This goddamn boy can't drool.
I don't know.
What's going on with you? I'm sorry.
What's going on with him?
And it's just one of those things to me.
It looked like they were overrated.
It looked like they're overrated out there.
And I think the magic being what?
Eighth.
Come in and get the eighth spot and do what the Miami Heat did to the bucks back then.
And disappointing the NBA fan.
based with understanding how it should go when you come in and play hard and you really want it.
And I think that's what they are.
They're out there hungry.
I think between Jamal and Paolo being able to mend their little conflict and then Bain step up and then Wagner step up.
And then you got Suggs out there playing well.
You got Wendell Carter out there really like, look, man, I don't care if you got them photos and videos.
It don't matter, bro.
She's mine.
The girl is mine.
They are choosing.
And it looked good out there.
It looked real good out there.
I look for the magic to close it out
because I don't see no differences right now.
No differences.
Let's shift over to this side of the couch.
Yeah.
Mr. B., former Detroit Piston.
What's going on with these Pistons right now?
Can't score.
Can't score.
And that's been their problem all year,
even though they've been number one.
Their defense has been great, though.
I mean, their defense is still going to be what it is,
but I think they're missing a score.
They need somebody that can really go get a bucket, take some pressure off Kate.
Tobias is trying to do his thing.
But other than that, I mean, you know what I'm saying?
You don't really, you know, you're not really getting any scoring.
Duren, I don't know where he's at.
I don't know what's going on.
I mean, they put Stewart in the game.
Stewart came in.
I think he had like eight blocks, like eight or something like that or something in 17 minutes.
But he was doing his thing.
So I don't know, man.
I think just Detroit, they got to find a score.
I think that's just their biggest issue.
They don't have enough scoring,
and there's a guy over there in Phoenix
that can put up a lot of points.
Is he light-skinned?
Yes, he is.
Okay.
And I'm giving all y'all light-skinned people to July.
Y'all on fire right now.
The block is hot for the light-skinned community right now.
It's hot.
We're going to lay low for the foreseeable future.
No, I'm going to give y'all to July,
because once that sun hit me and I get darker,
it's on.
I'm coming back out.
The magic shot 32.
32.6% from the field in this game,
still were able to get dark.
I'm saying, but Tobias ain't the issue.
Like, Tobias's going to be, I'm saying?
Tobias, he's going to be, I'm saying.
But I'm saying, that's the only scoring, right?
But that's it.
Like, he going to do what he do, right?
He ain't.
Yeah, yeah.
But that's like, it's only them two.
So, like, if Tobias can give me,
that's what got them number one.
He's not.
He's not.
Playing the way they be playing.
But why not?
He's not.
He just, he can't wait or?
He can't.
He can't.
He can't score over 20?
It's going to be 15 to 20.
Listen, though.
23 is his cap.
Listen, it's going to be under 15 to 25.
He can't get a 30-point game?
Consistent.
30?
I say consistent?
Yeah.
Yo, consistent 15 to 25.
He's averaged 15 throughout 14, 15 points throughout his career.
Jay Cole, that's Jay Cole.
Right?
That's who he's.
All right.
You're going to give us solid albums, solid songs, solid features, solid.
Hey.
And then go play ball.
I do my job, dog.
Tobarre said, like, listen, I'm a great.
locker room, dude. Not an issue.
I'm going to give you 15
to 20. Get you some rebounds, get you some
6, 7 rebounds. 15 to 20.
I'm not enough. That's not enough.
It is for him. It is. Yeah. No, no.
He ain't even the third option. He ain't even
a third option. Right now he's the second.
No, he's never
has been. No, but I'm saying right now in this team
is looking like he's like the second. Yeah, he's
second right now. He's a second right. He's a second.
Jack Dernard is the second option.
Average of 19 and 8, Tobias here is so far
in this series. So that's good.
Yeah, no, no.
19 and 8?
Yeah, for sure, for sure.
For him?
Back-to-back 20-point games.
For sure.
Shit, hey, any team would take that consistency.
What's why do you, let's shift out of these pistons?
Kay Cunning have 24-4 turnovers.
The last three games.
19 and 8.
I think me got to put the rest that defense-win championship shit to rest.
What?
That shit, that's all I've been hearing is defense, the spur.
I mean, the Pistons got deep.
But now is they got nobody put the ball in the hole.
Nobody at school.
What happened to all that defense, defense shit?
Like, like, defense is it.
Oh man, they're number one.
That shit get passed during the season.
Regular season, you play harder than some people,
some people don't play all 82 games hard every day, every game.
And the playoffs, that shit show.
If you can't score, you can't score.
That damn Rai Rai, Idel Stewart, shit,
Jand Dern, think he can't have no moves.
Nobody could put the ball.
in the hole and you just play defense,
you're not going to score. You're just going to be out there guarding
motherfuckers. So that's what it's showing.
Orlando got offensive players.
They got a better team. They got Pablo Wagner
looking like a second store.
Bangin threes. They ain't got
none of that on piston side.
They got one player. One player
in Cunningham getting
nine turn over trying to do everything, because he
got to do everything. And the playoffs, you can't
have that. If I
can't throw in a Jen Dernan, he could
give me a fucking move.
You can't be alive.
You can't score.
I'm sorry.
Business worker with Kate.
You can't score it.
I got a pair of doing it.
I was going.
They're like,
dude and two-way players.
As coach was saying.
If I can't throw you the ball and you can't give me a post hook or something.
They were eight and three or nine and three without Cade.
After that puncture line, I think overall in the season.
You know who stepped up?
You know who stepped up?
They were 13 to line.
Jenkins stepped up.
You can win games off for just being physical.
cool some nights in the NBA.
When you're just bullying certain people.
You can, that's,
and the playoffs
is different,
there's different pressure.
They got size too.
But they just need guys.
Lando got size too.
The players,
the playoffs is about those dudes
and two-way players, man.
You got to be able to do both.
You got to be able to do both.
You got to be able to do both in the game.
You got to do both in the playoffs.
You got to get some moves on the-
Yeah.
Like, you got to be able to do both in the players.
Like, he all live.
He's excommunicado for me.
Like, he ain't even a factor.
And I ain't never thought.
that he was that type of guy.
Like I never thought he was going to get it down there and go to work.
He can take advantage of certain guys, but him and Isaiah Stewart are, they're like Antonio
McDice and Ben Wallace.
Like Antonio McDyce can hit you, go mid-range, he can get you 15 to 18 sometimes.
But like Ben Wallace, you got to, them dump-offs.
Them are dunks.
Like you're not saying Ben, get me, go down there and mix it up for me.
So everybody else got to fill the void.
So you're looking at.
They don't got that.
Duncan Robinson ain't hitting on shit.
Amen Thompson ain't being aggressive at all.
If you know there's to Duncan Robertson.
If you stay in front of Duncan Robertson like this, he can't do.
That's what I'm saying.
But to my-
That's what I was saying about fucking Houston with Luke Kinnard, right?
To get-the-muffin do one thing out there.
If he's shooting layups, great.
A hundred percent.
But Kaye got a pass to somebody, right?
He got a pass to somebody, right?
So he's one of the passion shoot guys that got to
him and herder are their shooters, right?
We need shooters.
Everybody needs shooters.
But look, Green, Sasser, Jenkins,
all of those guys on the side that was playing big for them,
Levert, these are four guys that can put the ball in the basket.
That they're not playing.
Yeah, you're going with this defense shit, right?
You're not playing them.
So to Nick's point, he's picking defense.
He's picking defense because he feels like they need that to stop them.
They need that to stop them.
But they can't score them.
They can't.
Because you're not subbing.
J.B. has to.
balance the score sheet.
You can't just say, like you said, I agree.
Hey, all that defense,
right, right shit, if you can't put the basket in,
I won't want to hear it. Because the Spurs do that.
Yeah.
So that's why I'm like, uh-
Oklahoma City do. Oklahoma City do that.
But these guys, they're not balancing
it out and subbing guys that Paul Reed
can score the bench. He can go down there and put the ball
in the basket. Y'all not putting them in the game.
You playing defense against
an offense team. It's hard to
kind of balance that. Yeah, it's
Yeah, but Dave Dirk only played six minutes.
He got to develop.
He just dusted Paul Reed off and threw him out there.
Carras Lever threw him out there.
They busted him all.
Like then you're going to, so your back against the wall, right?
You're going to come out and you're going to play Sasser.
Going to dust him off.
You're going to play these guys who ain't been in no rhythm.
No rhythm at all.
He'll try to throw him out there and go like go come help save our sleeves.
Like, no, it don't work that way in this situation, man.
Like this is my, like, to your point you just made, Sean.
and I've always
I don't think you should play
14 guys in the playoffs
but if you've been playing 11, 12,
13 guys throughout the regular season
why dumb it down to 9?
Why dumb it down to 8?
Right.
Do that a lot.
You playing 13 guys
got us 60 wins.
Yes. Right?
Yes.
Anthony Black, the Silver,
all them guys are playing.
They're playing.
He planned his guys.
Like this is what,
Hey, we play at y'all getting a C, goddammit, so guess what?
Be ready.
Hey, be ready, got to do.
So, after the Black, playing well.
He's playing very well.
Like, the Civil Plan.
These dudes who, they plan well, and he knows what he's going to get out of them.
Especially for a coach who had his job on the line.
He's saying he was going to get fired no matter what.
Now it's looking like, hey, I need an extension.
Hey, I beat the first seat.
And I beat the first seat.
I'm good for that.
All this shit, they have to get it off.
What they're going to do now, though?
I'm, I'm, I'm, and let's say he's going to the next series and win that series.
That's not, you know, because they're momentum.
Who they play next?
Wait, who would they play next?
They won't the winner of the Cavs Raptor series.
Ooh, they can get them.
Hey, yeah, I'm going to get them.
Yeah, hell yeah.
They can get them.
They can get the Cab's the fuck out of here.
So, they can get the Caps out of here.
That's going seven.
That's going to sure.
Because I'm going to magic with that.
So facts.
Yeah, that's going set.
Hey, listen, he might be headed to the East's going.
Hey, that's the biggest turnaround.
We didn't see yet.
It's saying like on a whole thing.
It don't matter what happened.
He's getting fired regardless.
It's like, uh, I don't know.
Scott High right now as a team.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You ride and wave.
You're sky high right now.
You're at the top of the wave right.
Yep.
Yeah.
You get past Detroit.
Hey, that confidence, man, you're going to second round
with a team that just came off playing seven?
Or Cleveland?
Raptors or Cleveland?
We already, we proved, we already proved we can play with Cleveland.
For sure.
Yeah.
Cleveland don't want to see us.
Yeah.
We already proved we've played in Cleveland two years ago.
No, it's a good match.
They got, I'm telling you, I like that.
I like that for Orlando.
Toronto got defense.
Toronto.
So you think about them.
They got a match.
Toronto.
You think Toronto will beat the gas?
They got size though.
They do, but they don't play, they don't play good.
They don't play good basketball.
I think Toronto is watching that basketball.
No, no, no, no.
I'm just saying Toronto played better deep than the calves.
I mean, Orlando.
Yeah.
Orlando is more offensive of a game with this.
So let's talk about Jaylen Dern.
real quick. Jalen Duren was in the convo.
The most improved player was a finalist
and he's still in the competition for All-NBA
after putting up 20 points, 11 rebounds
this season, struggled in the playoffs
averaging just 10 points and 8 rebounds
while shooting 47% from the field.
He also found himself
on the wrong side of a poster
after Jamal Kane.
Oh, and Phil.
Flipping in the fourth quarter.
You didn't see it live?
Oh, what the fuck? When did that happen?
It's live in the fourth quarter.
His ex posted that.
Down goes, Dern.
Wait, wait, wait, whoa.
Mm-mm-mm-mm WNBX superstar Angel Reese posted it to her IGG's yours
Yeah she did she did yeah she did yeah gotta chill man no she uh gotta chill man no watch out
so you like nuts in your face too
chill that was what that was crazy is that the been oh man
that was insane that was nuts that's insane yeah
Put his ass in that basket.
How disappointing has Jalen Dern been so far in this series?
Obviously, he's eligible for a max contract extension.
Dang it got five years between $240, $290 million.
I don't think the series will have bearing on that.
But just from what you're saying from him through this first four years.
I'm getting the lab, man.
No, this is what playoff, listen, what playoff basketball does, it exposes your deficiencies.
Right?
When you are counted on during the regular season, you average 20 and 10, 19 and 10 during the regular season?
21 and 11, my bad.
20 and 11.
My bad.
So this exposes your deficiencies, right?
Take it from a guy who was an athlete, jumper, dunker, lob, threat, all the things that you do right now, young fella.
And they motherfucking plan off me.
You gotta develop something, dog.
Well, you can go get a bucket on your own.
Because you're too valuable, you're too good, you're fucking built like a Greek god.
Go use it.
But you got to get in the lap.
You got to take them wristbands off.
Whatever he looks like, no, no, no, no, no.
Ben Wallace did it too, man.
No, Orlando Woolridge.
Yeah, you got to take them shit off.
So he's built and looked like Orlando Woolridge out of that motherfucker, right?
Take them shit soft.
But my thing is you got to get in the lab, dog.
And you should, like, for you to be a lob threat and a guy that play around the rim to be shooting 47%.
You got a guard, Shay shooting 56, 57% from the field, he's a jump shooter.
So this is, you got to get in the lab, dog.
You got to work on your craft.
You got to develop a turnaround jump shot, a money jump hook, 15 to 17 foot something.
You got to do something.
It shows you not a score, though.
Nah, he just got to delete them old pictures.
You got to delete all the old pictures.
If you got wristbands on your wrist.
Going back to the phone, he's just looking.
Damn.
Score with, damn.
Yeah, he can't.
Yeah, he can't even throw it over the top.
Can't go with this shit here.
Can't follow through, right?
If you ain't, you ain't after wiping your sweat like this is the motherfucker, dog.
Stop, man.
Stop with that.
This shit is.
This shit here.
Yeah, yeah.
You're playing tennis, motherfucker.
Right.
Come on, man.
We're rubbing them things together, man.
Make a wish or something.
No, but he got to do more.
Aladdin looking at us.
Yeah, and then I'm saying, so they're making them score over the top.
Like, they're doing a good job of not foul.
They're making them, like, be a score, right?
So.
Damn, I get it.
That's fucked up.
I understand it.
I feel for him now.
Trust me, I get it.
My first year in the playoffs, bro.
To get dumped in your ex just say, that's fucked up.
He played out.
And you playing bad?
It's just one of them things where he lost confidence.
But he got to start talking his shit, man.
He lost something.
Yeah, he got to get his confidence.
I don't know, man.
And then you're saying there across from you got your work.
It's like, it's way different now.
We know her.
We know her.
It ain't yours no more.
He's all there.
He got to get up on your ass.
We share that.
Talking crazy.
Yeah, you got to start talking crazy.
You got to start talking crazy.
You can't just go from 9 to game, 80 games, and talking crazy.
He got to flip the skit.
He got to go crazy.
28, 12 or something.
You gotta be like, she would be bounding for me too.
9 and 8 ain't go 9 to 9 and go.
But now you gotta like be delusional right now.
Like something to give you confidence, bro.
Like now you just gotta wait.
I gotta sit back and just take this shit till I have a good game.
Hey, don't know.
Needs some new work.
You gotta go get some new work, man.
Ain't got none.
He ain't got to get a contract, no work.
I was gonna get some.
Andrew Reeves next game.
Gotta pay for some work.
Go do something.
Nasty.
Order some work.
You gotta do something.
shoe contract he was.
I'm...
Put on the Andrew Reeves shit.
The Pumas, man.
The Pumbas, Tumma's, Tumontan Pumba.
No, you gotta play well,
though.
I believe he's with Nike.
Like, you can't go out there
motherfuck and talk shit and he's there,
they're busting your ass and you're on the verge of going home.
Like, no, that don't work.
It don't.
That does that work?
And he's not going crazy.
Window ain't going crazy out there on your ass either.
He's solid.
14 and 17 on your ass.
Man, 12 and 11.
Yeah.
You have been double over?
17 and 7?
On the series.
Man, well, bro.
Yeah, but no, but on the more series, no, no, no.
J. Lerner, you ought to get in the lab, young fella,
because this is, like, playoff basketball,
expose your deficiencies, man.
So you can get away with that shit during the regular season.
But when you're seeing the same team day in, day out,
and they game planning for you what you can't do,
let them shoot.
Hey, they game, play a basketball, what it is,
people, playoff basketball is scouting report game planning what other teams players cannot do.
Pick and pop.
Right?
They're going to make you do things you're uncomfortable doing.
Show and get back.
Hey.
Go and get back.
We got it.
Slow rotation back to him.
Don't even stunt.
The fuck is if he make two, three.
Great.
He don't want to shoot that.
He got to put the weight from him a little bit too.
Yeah.
You be too strong.
Too strong.
Too strong.
I was in there yesterday.
You got to get in there.
But if you're going to be built like you.
that and you're gonna be a bull in a china.
No, no, you gotta be a bull in a china.
Yeah.
You gotta be that motherfucker.
You gotta be out there.
Oh, for sure.
The white hour.
The white hour.
Ben Wallace was limited offensively.
Throwing back.
Offensive rebounds, put, like, you gotta do more of that.
Like, get your hand, like, you gotta, like, if you're gonna be built that way, use it, you know.
You got, fella.
Make motherfuckers scared to box you out.
Man.
I'm coming.
You know, I'm going.
A guard down there.
Man.
They got a business decision to make.
Man.
That Stewart definitely got to step up too.
He can't go without being criticized either.
Because he can shoot the ball.
He can step out there and shoot it, but it does look.
He looks confused.
Like he don't know what to do when he out there.
No, he knows what he out there and it ain't the right thing.
He got to be able to play, be a player.
Because they need him.
I've been watching him.
They need it.
I've been watching everything.
I've been watching him in debt.
Fight Pablo right now.
Just fight somebody.
Do what you do now.
When your coach puts you back in late and he got to have a conversation.
with you before he put you back on the floor.
Like, don't do this.
Yo, dog.
Don't go out there.
Before he put him back in for during late.
And then he did it anyway.
Had a conversation with him.
Did it anyway.
Did it anyway.
Did it anyway.
I'm like, yo, dog.
Unfortunately.
Did it anyway.
I can't help myself.
Your team needs you.
Can't help it.
Not in the playoffs, young fella.
All right.
Well, let's wrap up today with our

Another clenching opportunity, Spurs with a chance to advance the winter night on their home floor.
Wimby had that big night in game four.
was not rolling with the least concussion protocol, though.
