That's why you were not with us.
with us.
There were some varying speculation reports.
Did it have to do with getting surgery?
Did not have to do it getting surgery?
You're wearing a wire.
Yeah, you know, I thought you, uh.
I can do that from the house.
I ain't gotta go in and that.
They can come right in.
We all wear wires every single day here from 11.30
But they can knock right on the door.

When you were picking this outfit, was it your number one option?
It was.
That was very good.
For sure, I had it laid out all this was yesterday.
On this side of the couch, we got the man they call Cemetery Larry NCAA champion of the world, Rashab McCants.
With the championship belt.
Another knockout?
Yeah.
The last but not least,
representing tough crowd and a card-carrying country club member,
Mr. B. Brandon Jennings.
You're back here with us.
I like the hat, man.
I like the hat.
Thank you.
I was told that I'm not a real golf player,
so I just had to make sure he know.
You know, I got my cigar, got my ball, got my divot.
So you bring everything but the game, you know.
I got the game.
I got my ball spotter from the Cincinnati.
So just letting y'all know I do got everything, though.
You became J.C., huh?
Mr. B.
Just want you to know that the chat really appreciated your energy on the show yesterday.
Thank you.
It was an early crashout, but.
Yeah, consistent, unlike the Lakers.
But he crashed out yesterday?
Oh, you know, he was very, wrong opinion.
Oh, he was ready?
He was ready.
You know, you just missed the Jaylen, you know, gave Jaylen Brown his flowers.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
You haven't been giving them flowers this year?
And he said trade, Justin Taylor.
I got the California jersey, the number zero.
Yeah, you missed it.
And we all get the black.
The Bay Jigs.
We got the baby.
Yeah, I bought the jersey.
I've been wearing it.

Just an average in 30.
Free up.
You know, you're going crazy right now.
Leaving his balling.
But Chad said they need that same energy today.
We got a lot of things to discuss.
Here's what's cracking in Gills Arena today.
So SGA and the Thunder smack the suns to advance the Sin City with their franchise record 16th straight win.
Where does this team and their franchise player rank amongst the all-time greats?
The Spurs are nine and three without Wimby this season.
Is San Antonio proven they are a legit threat in the West?
The team looking very, very good.
Offense looking very, very good as well without Victor Wimbingyama.
Trying to get an NBA Cup, likely will not happen because they got to play the thunder.
But JJ Reddick said the Lakers have consistently gotten exposed this season.
What can the purple and gold do to fix their issues?
But before we get into all that, as always, this show is brought to you by Underdog.

lot of basketball to discuss and this technically is a basketball topic but we're
gonna start the show by addressing some of our colleagues out there that are
trying to poke the bear that is Gill's Arena presented by Underdog we'll
So during a recent episode of Nightcap with Shannon Sharp, Ocho Cinco, and Joe Johnson,
their trio started bumping their gums and tried to come for the kings of the court, that is,
by issuing something like a challenge.
Let's take a listen.
Something competitive where we all compete in something.
I mean, that would be so fun.
Like a podcast war or something.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I'm just.
What we plan?
I mean, it could be anything.
They say 303.
We're good.
Hey, we good.
Hey, them boys like the hell, man.
We good.
Oh, Joe, can you shoot?
Hey, yeah, I can shoot, Joe.
Don't worry about it, Joe.
You got to be in him.
We won't find out if he can shoot because I ain't passed the fish.
Hey, I'm like, Shea out there on the court, man.
That's what we're not going to do.
All right, all right, all right.
Yeah, you're like, Shay, bow, bow, wow, daughter.
No, you're not playing.
You're not playing.
We're not throwing you the ball.
You will not get any shots.
You're going to tell me the ball.
All the world we got to worry about is Gil.
Gill, because he got a kid.
Man, I'm a lot, Gil, bad knee having ass up, man.
Five, man, we good.
Gil ain't going to go shit.
Damn.
Gil's bad knee having a, technically very accurate.
You do have a bad knee.
He's speaking facts.
He must have known.
He must have known. He must have known.
But we do have other members of the couch that are equally good at basketball.
cap one smoke with Gills Arena in three on three.
Basketball?
Basketball?
You're on three basketball.
Man, go on, man.
Go on, Joe Sanko.
Did he like Shaq?
It's not even close.
Not even close.
I don't think they could beat us in anything.
Y'all got, y'all got, no.
Okay, oh, that's fine.
I mean, okay, well, us three right here?
That's, I mean, what?
Okay, us three right here.
You see, on the big three all-star game?
He's out there trying to kill people.
He just hurt.
Was he successful?
just football player. Football players when they try to hoop.
Man, we could do bowling.
Was it all sports or just one sport?
I think there was a suggestion for a podcast Olympics as well
with a variety of different sports.
Taylor made to your guys' interests.
But basketball was what they landed on.
Huh?
You can do football.
Flag football.
Facts.
I mean, okay, there we go.
I ain't going to front.
I was one of the fastest guards.
I mean, I'll race Ocho.
Mississippi, you were a race to Ocho right now.
Straight line?
I'll race.
Straight line.
I just do a relay.
We can do a realtor.
Because the aunt can't,
I can't,
yeah.
I can get that.
Right, right.
I can get that.
But I don't need to.
Yeah.
Or do something like,
the Special Olympics.
That would be,
that would be funny,
podcast for it?
Yeah.
Do a whole bunch of stuff.
Presented by underdog.
All, everything, yeah.
Or do something like,
the heavyweights?
Is it boxing?
No, the heavyweights of the movie.
One of the greatest films
of all the time.
They have to do that.
They have to do the whole little...
Shout out Jerry Gardner.
Shot, do you think nightcap won't smoke with Gil's Arena 3-on-3?
You wearing the championship belt?
I'm assuming that wasn't included me in the other shit.
You are a member of the Gil's arena.
I'm assuming that he said just Gil.
He's like, we got Gil.
Like, everybody else can't hoop.
It's 3-03.
No, I would. I wasn't shit.
We could do golf.
We can do whatever.
We're not losing, though.
I'm golf.
Best to leave me out.
Because I'm pretty good.
Pretty good at every fucking thing.
Golf?
I don't see.
Because we've seen him.
What you see?
What you mean?
No, no.
They'll hide the ball.
Hell yeah, yeah, yeah.
But we see me.
My ball right here.
You ain't shamed me, though.
How you go?
I do everything.
You do everything.
You do everything.
Okay.
Can't be across multiple differences.
Yeah, bowling balls in the trunk,

He got his zing ready.
Ready to go.
He was like a taser gun.
No, he didn't bring his own controller.
Yes, yeah.
I had my own shit.
Y'all was thinking I was seeing.
No, just prepared.
Taser gun.
There's a lot of things we could do, Nightcast.
Five-20 was awesome.
All that, sir.
Mr. B, I know you did challenge Jeff Tigg to ones.
I don't think that ever had for winning.
They got Hennie, though.
Yeah.
They got Hennie on.
Who?
Hennie.
Host off?
He got Hennie.
He looked like he gets tied real fast.
Mm-hmm.
Set screens, though.
I mean, we don't know.
None of them.
Any drink contest?
Whatever they want to do.
Duregg.
Easy.
Easy.
Okay.
Well, you've heard it here, ladies of gentlemen.
Yeah, that's easy smoke, though, first.
Yeah.
They can set up for All-Star Weekend if they won't.
Like the have the ball is in your court?
Yeah, dude.
What are the, you got Joe buttons?
That's easy work.
Yeah, that's easy work.
They got the easy work over there, right?
I gar Mona.
Right.
Joe all left, no right.
I shoot a red of Ramona.
I seen Joe, all left, no right.
He's going to send Indian style at the end.
Well, you do have a situation going on with Stephen Jackson right now, back and forth.
Oh.
He did post a video dropping forward.
Listen, I'm not going front.
Yeah, I don't over there.
They're not, I mean, they play the all sports, though.
They play all sports, though.
Hey, Nick, you and Rashad versus Matt and Stack.
Ooh.
That's a good match.
Easy.
That's a good match.
Two on two.
I like that.
I know.
I put the money up.
I would, too.
I think that's easy for y'all, though.
They got Cam Mason, then they got a cousin Bing came out.
Cousin Bean.
Oh, yeah.
They did have O.J. Reston Pee.
I'm going to close line you.
Protect your neck.
And take your chain.
That is a good two on two, though.
That is a good to them, too.
Yeah, for sure.
We can set that up.
So we asked the chat, who wins in a three-on-three between nightcap and Gills Arena.
79% of the chat said Gills Arena.
Good job, Chad.
You can get to stick around.
Good job.
Fake claps.
I like that.
They were going to take it.
Should we go take it in Lou Will and them too.
They want to know.
And what's the name?
Lou Will and, um.
Oh, yeah, Parsons.
Parsons and Boogie Cousins over there.
Kmart ready.
Kmart ready.
I've seen Kmart.
That's a good one right there.
Repeat the list, Kmart.
Y'all know K. Martin didn't touch the ball since he retired.
He don't need to.
He refuses to touch the ball.
He'll need to.
Come set this pick, big fella.
What about Gilzorina versus Mind the Game podcast, Steve Nash and LeBron James?
And our producer said plus a random PA on their staff.
I got the P.A.
I got the P.A.
Jay Gallow.
He got the P.A., you got J.Gallel.
He got it.
He got it.
Well, we're not making it out of life.
No, he's not.
I'm styling him every single time.
What about mellow and on?
7 p.m.
Brooklyn.
Yeah.
Mello and Rudy Gay.
And Mara.
That'd be a good matchup right.
Oh, yeah.
Want that smoke too.
I'm waiting for that.
Get them a lot of here.
Basically, I think with this couch just saying that we will accept all fates.
Whoever wants it, we will be in LA.
You can't move right now.
He'll be recovered.
By the time then, I'll put the steroids in.
You know how I do.
You still need like a month or just like one.
All right, three months.
All right.
Let's keep this thing moving to some actual basketball going on right now.
Thunder entered their NBA Cup quarterfinal meeting with the Sons as the top seat in the West
in the midst of a franchise record tying 15-game winning streak.
Their lone loss of the season coming to the Blazers five weeks ago,
Sons were looking for revenge after OKC scare in group play on November 28th.
Sons had raised a 15-point deficit late in the fourth quarter of that game,
ended up losing by four after SGA scored 10 of his 37 points in the final three minutes of the game.
But OkC had their sights set on another trip to Send City after reaching the NBA Cup final last season
and had the suns out here looking like the buns.
Highlights, please.
Thank you, guys.
This one was over before it even started as OkC put belt to ass from the jump,
racing out to a 15-point lead after the first frame and a 26-point lead at halftime.
SGA led the way with 28 points, eight dimes, and two steals going 11 for 15 from the field,
including three or four from deep and 28 minutes.
of action.
He was a plus 43 in the game while extending his 20-point streak to 96 games, sitting
the fourth quarter for the 14th time this season.
Chet Holmgren added 24 points and 8 boards on 9-13 shooting, and Jalen Williams put up 15,
5, and 5 in his 22 minutes of action.
So Thunder led by as much as much as 53 points in the game going on to win by 49 points,
giving the sons their worst loss in franchise history.
OkC set a franchise record with their 16th straight win.
to improve the 24 and 1 on the season.
Let's take a look.
The Thunder's 24-1 start ties the 2015-16 Warriors
for the best in NBA history through 25 games.
Thunder currently have a plus 17.4 average point differential,
nearly five points higher than the record they set last season,
and they're on pace for 79 wins this season.
They have a massive historic record
despite ranking second league-wide and games missed
because of injury with their primary starting lineup
from last season of championship squad,
to get to play a game together this season.
So when we look at the Thunder Squad,
we talked about them a little bit yesterday.
Obviously, Shai, you have some opinions
on the Thunder Squad yesterday.
They go out, beat the Suns by 59
to advance to the NBA Cups in the finals.
Are we witnessing right now
the most dominant team in NBA history?
Just based on the numbers.
You're asking me?
I'm asking you a question.
That was a question mark at the end of.
Are we witnessing?
Like I just said it yesterday, man.
You said a week's stream of schedule, but 24-1, you play who you play.
Yeah.
Win any games by 17 points?
Can you name me four people on the Phoenix Suns right now that was playing last night?
Man, they got Dylan Brooks.
Grayson Allen was playing for a little bit before he got voted.
Billing Brooks to save you.
You got Dylan Brooks.
At the end of the day, we're going to have to wait until the end to see, you know, of all this pan out.
So I'm not going to jump to the conclusion that everybody else jump into based on what's happening.
But when you see what they've done so far,
25 game sample size.
I know it's too much to unpack
without being a hater.
It's too much to impact.
If you support things with facts, that's not caught
hated. No, I mean, because we watch the game
and you see there's a difference when you
look at how they lost to the Blazers.
You lost, your only game
you lost to the Blazers.
Yeah, four people out of that game.
Losing that game, being unhealthy,
you look at the rest of the league.
You say, we're losing these games based on what you just
used as an excuse for them losing that game.
So if you've got
guys unhealthy and your team ain't balanced,
it's just like you're going to lose games based
on that. It's going to be your excuse.
They're playing well, like I said yesterday.
They're playing well. They're playing who they play.
Beat the teams you're supposed to beat.
That's usually how it goes.
Win the games you're supposed to win.
Come through the clutch and
figure out how to win the games
that are supposed to be close like they
did in Houston. So
like I said, when we figure it out at the end,
They keep it going, they keep it going.
They break the record.
They break the record.
But as we know, breaking the record does not necessarily ensure a championship.
It puts a lot of pressure.
I mean, they got to be considered, you know, one of the greatest all-around teams.
I mean, last year, I felt like they felt like they were disrespected last year.
You know, people probably felt like it was a fluke.
They came back this year, dominating the league.
You know, their schedule, whatever might not be as strong as it is,
but everybody's stepping up.
It says a lot about a young team that can come back.
with, you know, championship hangover, as they say, and things like that.
But to come back and, you know, put everybody together, being down with J-dub
and still being able to, you know, do what they do.
It says a lot about their team, says a lot about their leader,
says a lot about SGA, and it says a lot about what they have going on around there.
So, yeah, they've got to be considered one of the best all-around team ever.
I mean, 68 and 14 last season,
and obviously had a couple seven-game series in their road to championship,
including the Pacers in the finals, highly getting hurt in that game,
So it could have went another way of how he stayed healthy, but.
Nah, they're just a talented team for me.
Everybody, like the liquor stove guys they got could shoot threes and make shots.
They're not just one-dimensional players, like just a defender and can't do nothing else.
They got cornered guys that, a bunch of them that's elite that could shoot any shot they won't make shots.
That's hard to stop when everybody on your roster could put the ball in the hole and got confidence to do it.
Especially when you got a leader like Shea and you can see Chet is getting more comfortable feeling itself.
Oh, man.
It's going to be hard to stop them, man, for sure.
When you look at this to describe what they've been able to do so far,
tying the 2015-16 awards with a 4-1 start through 25 games.
Do you feel like we're witnessing the most dominant team in NBA hit?
Most dominant.
NBA history.
I mean, I guess witnessing that we understand what's going on.
I mean, 96 Bulls was a dominant team.
Very much so.
People actually feared them, right,
because everyone feared Michael Jordan, right?
So do you feel like people don't fear the Thunder and SGA?
I don't know.
Yeah, that's something you've got to ask, you know, the players.
But I wouldn't think so.
I mean, you can see it and lay up line against the Bulls back then.
So I would say like just aesthetically, Chicago Bulls was probably the most dominant.
Really fear that, man.
But what these guys are doing, man, it's, it's dominating is dominating, right?
I mean, we can look at the schedule and the schedule, I mean, their first win against the Rockets.
Double overtime.
The contender.
We knew Pacers were going to be asked.
That went in overtime too.
Yep.
I think double overtime was like that.
We knew Hawks are going to be ass.
Maverick is supposed to be good.
Hawks are not technically asked, Gil.
Kings were supposed to be good.
No.
They were supposed to be good.
They were supposed to be good.
Wizards, obviously.
It was supposed to be ass.
Pelicans.
Clippers was supposed to be good.
Supposed to be good.
It was supposed to have been the second best team in the league.
Right?
So they've played.
played, they played the Warriors, played the Lakers.
I mean, they played a bunch of favorites.
They only had, they haven't played Denver.
Um, they haven't played Denver.
Yeah, okay, they played Denver to what next year?
In New York.
Detroit.
Detroit, they haven't played Detroit.
But nobody considered them preseason good anyway.
You know, in the middle of the road team.
The Cleveland Cavaliers.
If their competition is the teams we're naming now, then that is a problem then.
Right?
Because if we're saying New York Knicks is one of the challenging teams that they're going to play or Detroit, that's going to be a grinded-out game.
Denver.
But nobody thought about them as a favor to win a championship.
But, I mean, they're putting boot the ass too.
Nuggets obviously knows.
Probably Nuggets is probably, you know.
Yeah, I said Nuggets.
It's probably Nuggets is really their only real.
Houston, too.
Houston, too.
I mean, they got the best of them, but, you know.
Close game.
Yeah, that was a close game.
That's second, I mean, the second matchup is going to be there.
Well, first game of season, obviously, a lot of motions starting to shoot.
No, Jalen Williams.
Yeah, twice.
Twice?
Four times?
They play four times.
But, I mean, you know, but what they're doing, we get a chance to see it.
It's like, Shea is a, I mean, it's a very, very, very consistent player.
Like, it's like.
But you don't think they scared of Shea, like they scared of yours?
I would assume so.
I think so.
because I didn't see Dylan Briggs Garh him one time.
Yeah, I don't, I, I don't, I, I, I, I, what's the fear, what's the fear,
the fear level when Mike, in the comparison of fear level with Shea is we're playing
seven on five, eight on five, the refs have.
Go through the highlights again.
Listen, bro.
We're on, we, I know, Michael, we just, I'm just saying, Michael Jordan's fear was you had, you had the core pieces around Mike, but Mike was, you had the core pieces around Mike, but Mike was,
in the triangle doing Mike shit, right?
Your fear with Shea is, can I guard him?
Are you going to allow me to guard him tonight?
You couldn't touch Mike, neither.
Are you going to allow me to try to guard him tonight?
And then it's trickling down with the team, and that was the thing with Phoenix last night.
If you watched the game, they couldn't guard them at all because they was getting fouls.
But if they're allowed to play aggressive defense, OKC, they have the least
amount of fouls in the league.
So we're saying that they have the least score because of the reps?
No, I'm saying they have the least amount of fouls in the league and they're the most
aggressive defensive team.
So every time they got a guy who can go to the line, every time he gets the ball, we can't
get no fouls on him.
Wait, wait, wait, wait.
They only scored because they...
Like, I mean, I feel like Utah was like that when I can...
Like, there's always teams that can play physical.
How many years ago was that?
I mean, shit.
A long time ago.
So just look at the discrepancy.
I'm just saying the discrepancy of how last year they said that Indiana and OKC were the two
aggressive defensive teams.
But when you're playing against them, they are allowed to foul you.
That was the New York knock.
New York is like, God damn.
We can't touch them but they can foul us this hard.
But they're known for that though, right?
So I understand.
If you are not getting fouls and we're fouling you and you're not
foul enough. It's a discrepancy with the referee and it's the
making up a game. It's just like anything, when you establish who you are,
they give you the benefit. They do. I mean, that's just a real thing. I learned
that when my rookie year, you got to establish yourself as a certain defender. Like,
so like even with like Detroit Pistons, right? Like all the Detroit Pistons team,
then they play the same style, right? They get into you, they play physical. They don't,
I mean, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, they play the same style. They don't, I mean, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's,
it's who they are. So once the reps know this is the style of play, it's basically playoff
basketball, right? So the problem is they do it on both sides. You know, you got to look
at it. Shane's aggressive on both sides. Defense offensively, it's an aggression, right, where
I'm going to hit you. You got to hear, I'm going to hit you hard when you react, then I'm
a, and I mean, so he does very well at the bait and switch tactic.
Yes. Yes.
But at this point, the IQ is so high.
But it makes it unfair, though, right?
Think about how it makes it unfair.
You can play aggressively, defensively on me, and all you have to do offensively is flop.
The Chet thing with Grayson Allen.
He felt like y'all been playing aggressive with us all night.
I'm finally about to play aggressive back.
And the moment I do, chat flops fragrant tube.
Do you feel like Chet flopped on that?
100%.
We were going to watch that story with us.
Because we know that's not tough like that, but they get allowed to play tough defense.
But when we play tough defense on you, you get to flop because, like you just said,
the aggressiveness on him offensively for Shea allows him to take the contact, take the contact,
and flop on it, and that's smart.
Like, it is smart.
He knows that.
It's so part of his game now.
It's a part of Lucas game now.
It's a part of AR's game now.
It's a part of Jalen Brunson's game now.
When I can be aggressive offensively, I'm going to get the favor of the referee.
But the difference is, what can we do defensively if we're not allowed to play aggressive either?
Stop.
Like, all sorts.
Stop poking your hair.
I mean, just like with James.
What's that label they get?
Because they said LeBron flop back in the day.
So I feel like it's just something you're trying to put like something on greatness.
He could score any way out there on court three.
point line, mid-range, post up, off the dribble, but he
flops to the line. All his buckets, all 30 points every night is from the
free throw line. So she only three three free throw attempts.
That's what I'm saying. He's averaging 10 attempts per game.
What you're saying is valid, though. Look, I'm not going to say it's not
valid. But here's the other validation on the other side. There's proof
because the eye and it's got on line. We can show you film
of what's fouls and what's not. What he bait?
trying to get the foul call
and where he's just playing who?
They actually have deciphered that
and there's not no knock against him
because it's smart. Like we all talk about
yesterday, what was our conversation?
Flopping
and just playing through the contact.
What's a foul? The difference is
when he knows that, hey man, I just want to take
this dispossession off, get
to the free throw line. I know the fucking refs
going to give me the call if I do it right.
But isn't that, I'm like you say, smart tactics
and I get in the bonus quicker I get from it.
Another level of...
And I keep the defender on their heels.
That's another level of greatness.
Is it flopping?
It's another level of manipulating the game and understanding that.
Manipulating the game.
Okay.
To me, it's weak.
No, it's not.
Yes, it is.
It's the IQ of being smart.
You have to manipulate the game.
Remember we talk about Kyrie?
You have to.
You have to.
You have to.
You have to.
You have to do what?
Manipulate the game.
But who says he doesn't?
But who says he doesn't?
His skill work, the way he gets to the,
He plays through contact.
He goes through.
He does the things that makes a way.
If you're going to foul me, you're going to foul me hard.
It's going to be a foul.
We're all going to be like, that's a foul.
We're not going to make it a questionable thing.
Like, yo, come on, bro.
You just, you got to, oh.
Listen, if you watch the game, you listen to SGA.
He says, oh, every single time.
I did that.
And we learned that.
I learned that too.
Me and Craig Smith, shout out to the black rhino.
He told me that.
He was like, hey, shot him.
You say, hey, they might give it to you 70%.
Have any other great players in NBA history use that similar strategy?
Everybody.
35 and all day.
What's the problem, though?
Listen.
He's a master.
You know what it is.
Gil didn't have to do it every time, though.
When he fought through contact, he made niggas foul him.
Right.
But also, Gil also played the game to where if you're going to give me 10 jumpers right here,
I'm going to take 10 free jumps.
So I'm going to still play the game.
He's still playing the game.
He's just a master of the same.
space and creation like like so if you want to keep coming down every time i'm stopping you want to bump
into me but that's not what's happening he's initiating the contract okay that's forcing things that
those are things are liability to the defense i have i can't do nothing so you can't guard me
that's supposed to be an offensive foul you can't guard that's supposed if you're pushing me off
what's that no if i'm not so this is a trick so rest to look for with the
Extended elbow.
Okay.
Right?
Extended elbow, push-offs.
They've never looked at shoulder.
They don't consider a shoulder to push-offs.
It's the chicken wane.
Right?
So you come in and you hit up and you do all that.
They don't call that.
They don't call that offensive fouls.
But listen, basketball players, especially, you know, like the James Hart and the Shays,
what they're playing on is human behavior, right?
If I know as soon as I get the ball, you're going to jam me, right?
The first thing I'm going to do is try to swipe through, see if I catch you.
If I don't catch you, I'm going to try to get past you, stop, see if you're going to hit me.
Right?
Because if you are a game changer on the defensive side, I don't want you in the fourth quarter.
Just like you don't want me in the fourth quarter.
So my job is try to get you in foul trouble.
So for the most part, I'm not playing basketball.
I'm playing, let's get him in foul trouble.
It's a chess between me and you.
You want to create space so you can go to your shit.
If I give you space, now I have to play side.
solid defense while you're getting to your shit, I'm getting to my shit.
Now, when you come with the fuck shit, that's when it gets sick.
The fuck shit is when it gets sick.
It ain't no fuck shit.
Yes, it is.
He knows exactly what I'm talking about.
Because listen, the fuck shit that I'm talking about is when I'm making it tough for you and you know, you might not give me the fuck shit first.
You know now the second, third time you come down, he's like, all right, this motherfucker's on the first move.
I ain't about to do this with you out.
I'm not going to do this with you.
If I can get one on you, I'm going to get one on you.
If I get that one.
If I get that one, we're not saying, we're not saying that one.
Don't say that about it.
Not saying it.
Bro, Nick, you're switching the conversation, big conversation, my nigga.
No, I'm not.
In the middle of the conversation and you're trying to talk about Joker now.
Because you literally say, we haven't gotten the Joker yet.
No, I did.
I just named six niggas, bro.
And you stuck on that shit.
Catch up.
I get it.
I get it.
Usually the strongest ones.
Okay.
History.
The stronger you are, you get penalized for being strong.
Right?
LeBron, Dwight Howard, Shack.
Right?
So y'all go to the hole?
We're allowed to do what?
Yeah, all that.
You're supposed to play through it.
You get penalized for being strong.
No, think about it.
But you can beat my ass every day.
No, no, no.
No, think about it.
If he's posting you up, right, what's the first thing you're going to try to do?
Move out.
Ah!
Okay.
try to take the charge, right?
Now, you're going to try to take the charge on him.
Now, if you're posting them up, you're going to sit here
and do, like, they're going to call nothing.
That's a perfect point.
Listen to what you just said.
You agree, right?
If I got you in the post, the first thing you're going to do.
The first thing, I'm going to take the content, right?
I'm going to try to take the content first.
You're going to try to flop.
No, I'm going to hit the first.
And then the second one, I'm falling.
All right, so think about that for the defense.
Okay, so I'm playing D.
flop to get a foul on you
offensively. But I'm playing
D for the first time.
So I'm fine. After that,
I'm going to listen to the logic
of what I'm talking about offensively
for She. Okay. You're Shea.
I'm defense. I'm
trying to play defense through the first.
I'm trying to play defense
through the second. You flop
on offense,
nigger. I get the foul.
I'm just as mad as you are
when you on defense and you
And I'm trying to motherfucking back you down and you flop.
That's the frustration on both sides.
That's the point I've been trying to make.
If I got the ball in the post against a little motherfucker,
he knows I got two dribbles with flop where he's going to try to score this thing.
Same with Shea.
She got the ball.
He's like, hey, listen, you don't go for this first pump favor?
I'm just going to fall.
I'm just going to fall, and I'm going to get the foul.
But what was the same thing?
Kobe would do the same thing, right?
How many times go to go to jail?
And if you don't jump, he's got to make that shot.
But he's still getting the car.
because he's still doing this.
But he's not popping on it.
But he's just, it's just, it's just, it's just, you're jumping, he's going into you.
He actually like shape and fall.
He's not, not, you know, it's not just, it's not even getting tough.
It kind of started with, like, the Euro, like, I remember when, when Genobley, he was really good at that.
He was the worst at it.
He was really good at that.
A little dude from Dallas, but.
Barrier, he was good at it.
Devin Harris, he mentioned Devin Harris.
Oh my God, I hate it.
Oh, my, God.
Those dudes are good at it.
But you got to know this generation don't know what the fuck.
Luca's doing, AR's doing, they have no idea how to play against that.
See, because that back then, that's what we take out the game mentally.
He don't get him.
You all the pick Sam Cassell?
Sam Cassell did it all the time.
You all the fucking pump baby.
He played with the Will too, though.
Who?
Oh, Shep.
Oh, that was the Louis.
And was the C.
He wasn't with C.
C.P was in the OKC.
C.P taught us for shit.
The second year.
That push off, you see them coming?
Stop.
Bomb, bum, bum.
But if that's what I say, if they don't give him those calls
more than nine, ten times a night
based on half of them calls being questionable.
He's not saying he not.
He's going to be out of the game by that four-for-old.
It stops them because they stopped it for James, too.
So eventually it will stop.
It's the momentum thing.
Remember James had this.
He was doing that every time.
And then they just stopped calling it.
Like, after a couple of years,
And it was just like, it became a turnover.
He stopped doing it.
So eventually they'll stop calling it.
But just not right now.
He's too, he's up here.
I'm not saying anything to go against you.
I'm just saying, when you look at the game and you watch that shit,
you're like, that takes the momentum out of the other team's defense.
When we're going to stop and we got a clean stop and he, hey.
And they give that nigga that fat.
Everybody's like, yo, what the fuck is doing that?
And right when you do that, now I know I got you.
Now I'm going to keep doing it.
Because I got to get you out, I got to get you off the game.
But you don't got me.
The refs got me.
You didn't do shit, though.
You didn't do shit.
I got you.
I got you.
I got you.
I got it.
Because we know that's a part of the scowder report.
The scouting report is, listen, guys, he's going to flop.
Show them highlights, please.
He's going to flop.
Guys, you got to play defense without fouling.
That's going to be our whole coach.
And it's tough to do.
It's because he's.
The Pope's defense without foul.
What the fuck going on?
Nigger.
Did you pay attention in the huddle add-on, my nigger?
Man, this is a man, acting like he just falls with nobody around him.
Do you know how many fouls each player gets?
God, damn.
Fix.
Play defense without falling, y'all.
Let's play defense without foul.
Yes, because the reps call fouls, Nick.
They call foul.
Defends, foul and play defense.
That's what you want to say.
Just play foul the motherfucker.
Okay, Dick, okay, here you go, Nick.
This foul the motherfucker.
Dribble, dribble, pump face.
Fow.
Don't foul, Nick.
File.
That's what the coach is telling you.
Nick, why are you fouling him, Nick?
I don't know, Coach, because you're not fucking listening, Nick.
You was looking in the stands when I said,
play defense without fouling.
Because you want to foul a motherfucker.
Move your feet.
Stop reaching.
Hey, stop reaching.
When Gil say, reach I teach, don't you fucking reach.
That's called being undisciplined.
But being undiscipline.
But that's, okay, now, that is the real issue, right?
We know don't reach or they teach.
Uh-huh.
So when he drives.
And you decide to try to get one of those and he catches your cookie jar.
That's fair.
That's not a flop.
But if I do it up, if I'm playing fair defense, slide my feet, they think they showed it against the blazers.
Yeah, what's that first highlight he just said?
And then he hit him with the chicken, but then he fell.
That's strong.
That right there's not a foul.
He got the fucking anywhere though.
That's what I'm saying.
He picked the elbow right there.
No.
He got you out of foot.
That's a bad shot.
It's a foul.
It's a foul.
It's a foul.
That's a foul.
If that's a foul, everything's a foul.
Mekyllis, I'm fouling you out if we're playing.
No, what I'm done is, look, he's body
feeling you still.
The rule is, once the guy takes off, you got to take your hand off,
he realized he's still longsover.
He just jumps.
And you don't even take that steps no more.
That right there.
That's just smart.
As an example.
Thank you.
As an example, that is a bad.
That is a bad call, bro.
Come on shot.
But that's not Shay's fault.
Get up, get up.
I know that.
That's what I'm saying.
As a Scott & Report, we're literally playing eight on five every night.
Nah, come on, come on.
Come on, come on.
Come on.
Let's see.
That's what he did.
Leave me alone, man.
I'm just wanting to see.
Leave me alone.
Gil, sure.
No, Gil can't move.
Leave me alone.
No, you know I can't get up.
He had his elbow on him.
Bro, leave me alone.
Let's talk the other side of Shade though.
That's clearly.
If you were playing D.
defense.
Nick, you're looking at the, you're looking at your bench and the, in the refs, like,
bro, that's not a foul?
If you, you're a hoop, but we talk a hoop.
Right?
If you're guarding shape right there in that moment and they give him that foul, instead of not giving you that foul,
instead of not giving you that foul, no car, it go in.
Cool.
And that's a good shot.
Cool.
It's lucky shot.
But to give you your second foul on that plague, nigger, you're pissed.
You're pissed.
And it's Gristin Allen.
Yeah.
You're pissed.
It's the only one of our other players that's really good.
out here. We only got two guys. He's Grayson Allen. Let's talk about the other side of
show, though. The other side of show. I'm white. In addition to the free throws, SGA having one of the
most efficient scoring season she won't me to do. I'm at a discrepancy already. Like I said,
he knows that too. Get this white boy off me. See it. Give me some. No disrespect. He's already like,
yeah, that's what I'm saying. But S yeah, having one of the most efficient scoring season in NBA
history hasn't played in the fourth quarter in more than half of the games this
season. So amongst 30 point
per game scores all time. Shea
has the highest true shooting percentage, which I know you guys don't
care about, but it's still an important stat.
Second highest three point field goal percentage, six highest
two point field goal percentage, and the lowest
turnovers per game. This is amongst 30 point per game
scores all time. So he's averaging 33,
seven assists, five rebounds,
playing 33 minutes per game.
56, 45, 88
shooting split. Going every
minute, 56% from the field, 45 from
three. So he's on pace for his
four straight season, averaging 30 or more while shooting.
50% or better from the field.
A feat only Michael Jordan has accomplished more
with MJ doing it for five straight seasons
from 1987 to 1992.
So when you look at what SGA's doing,
especially in these last three to four years,
is SGA positioned himself
to be in the conversation
amongst the greatest scoring guards of all tonal.
Well, yeah, because he plays point guard,
there's not a lot of scoring point guards.
I'm saying scoring guards.
So if we want to talk about this wave
of the column of a point guard,
Yeah, you can call him a point guard.
I mean, as, even shooting guards, I mean, there's.
Just saying, score, scoring guards?
That's what we can't.
You're saying one of the best?
Is he positioning himself?
Positioning?
Is it based on?
He's positioned himself to be the top two point guard ever.
Is it based on how many points he's scoring?
That's where he's going to.
Fishing everything.
Efficiency.
50%.
Team success.
Everything.
Well, it's kind of hard because the, the.
The 90s, the 90s style of play in the 80s where, you know, the defense, you had to stay with your man so it was more open court.
It's kind of like today's game, too, where you have more freedom.
It's not a clogged game to bring your percentage down, right?
So, you know, so these percentages should be better than that early, the 2000, the 2010, because the rules were a little bit different than.
So more space.
I mean
You can't argue
I mean you got four years straight 30
Which 50% I mean yes
He can make the claim
He's scoring
Top 4 5 45%
He's scoring every minute
So that's like Wilk level
That's like Wilf
Like every minute getting a buck
I'm not going to say all that
I know guys
I mean 30
Damn Lilit
You don't want to put him
You're talking about all the guards
Before Shee emerged
But he's not playing
30 games
I'm not saying that you have
I'm just saying the guys that we've seen that had these type of clips, right, that could
and potential do what he's doing based on the volume that you're playing, the type of team
that you're on, like, it's circumstance, it's situations.
That's right.
Would they be winning like that?
You think he has, is it better than Steph?
Is it better than Steph?
What?
Huh?
His tenure right now is better than Steph's?
If he win.
I mean, shit.
Listen, the route is going, bro.
He's scoring, he's scoring every minute.
For his five-year span, Steph was being Steph.
50, 40, 90?
It's on its way.
I'm saying it's close.
It's on it's funny.
He's damn to the same. He's very close.
I'm just saying, 56, 45, 88 right now.
I heard Jeff Teague say shit.
If he get another one, he top three-point guard ever, top two-point guard.
He'd be talking, man.
He'd be thinking that shit.
I'm just saying, I'm about to say, the route is going.
They can just be saying shit.
I mean, the route is going.
If he gets MVP again, if he could honor, we can honor niggas playing good right now,
bro.
We can honor niggas playing for good for the last three years.
We can honor that.
It's a good strut.
But look, with the most, throw niggas into the all-time shit.
But he wins another back-to-back.
If he wins another back-to-back, he's in there all-time.
I mean, all he has to do is if he wins everything all this year, he's top five point guard ever.
Damn.
Yeah, you got crazy.
Isaiah Thomas can watch out.
Isaiah Thomas can watch out.
Just to say it.
No, it ain't.
That's just back.
You're not proven it.
It's back.
I'm running through the league.
That's back-to-backed MVP's.
What is this league?
NBA, it's the national basketball association.
That means that whoever comes after him and does what he's doing is going to be better than him.
He better do it.
What I'm saying is we ain't seen a point guard go back to back, though.
We ain't seen a point guard go back to back and wipe through the league.
That's what I'm saying.
Yes, we have.
Yes, we have.
And then he's going to be knocking that door with stuff.
Jeff Curry.
That might have to watch out too.
Nah, man.
If he.
If he, if he go back to back and win everything?
Shit.
What are we talking about?
MJ did it, I'm not even, hey, and I'm just being real.
Like, that's just some real shit this kid is doing.
It's not.
Why don't they make sense of the same energy because the chat got you guys?
No, no, no, no, that's bad.
No, that's back.
That's what the chat is doing.
That guy got to be drunk.
They had to be drunk too.
No, that's bad.
I'm just drunk on that shit.
No, that's back.
If he win it again, he's top five point guard ever.
And he's creeping in number.
3. I don't care. Isaiah could watch out. Because they moved it to the two.
AI? And they had Eric Snow. Back then, like, that's when I, when I came in, when I came in,
it was really, no, no, no, he should have been. He should have been. He should, but no. Right, but back then
still, it was, they were still into the traditional point guard. Eric Snow. He was, so if he was in this
era, he would be a point guard. He had been a point guard. Yeah. He did a five at 30, but 30 points per game.
He went to a point guard at Georgetown, right?
Yeah.
What's the point guard position?
What's the, what's the criteria for being a point guard?
These motherfuckers came in, they changed the game for points.
In today's era, I mean, back when we played, it was to get everybody involved.
I'm just asking the question.
I know for a fact, you'll move over 50% percent.
They're going to be asking the strategic question about who.
I'm trying to see.
That's what I'm trying to do.
You know what a point guard is.
But I know what it is.
Okay.
But that's why I asked why did they not put AI as a.
Because he wasn't a point guard.
A point guard used to believe.
He's not, he's not a, because how many, how many assists say average?
And then you talk about traditional point guards that we've talked about in the top five.
These point guards average 10 and plus more assists a game.
So we can't, he's a scoring guard.
He's a hybrid.
Steph Curry is not a point guard.
He's a hybrid scoring guard.
So should we make another category?
No, we're not making no category.
You're just, that's your position.
You're a point guard.
So you can, so if you want to grow up playing the game like that, that ain't how the point
guard is going to fuck around.
I call them combo.
You call them combo.
We just go on combos.
He's a combo.
You were a combo.
So what is James, so does James hard to go down as a point guard?
Huh?
So does James hard to go down as a point guard?
Yes.
Okay.
Okay.
I mean, he's averaged four years.
But that's hit with him in shooting guard.
No.
He came in shooting guard.
Yeah, but he's, I know.
I know, okay.
See, then he left.
Then he started...
Shit, Magic Johnson came in as a shooting guard.
With Norm Nixon.
He was a shooting guard.
And then switched to small forward point guard.
Don't put magic in that guy.
That's what happened.
LeBron James came in as a shooting guard.
No, no, no.
Let's stop now.
Nicky, he guarded me.
He was a shooting guard.
No, no, he did it.
No, he didn't.
No, he didn't.
No, he wasn't a fucking point guard.
LeBron James...
I said a shooting guard.
Then he shifted to a point guard, facilitating the offense.
He's let his team in assist every year besides
So Cooper Black came in as a point guard
He came in as, hey
Everybody's so, well, yeah
I'm just saying he came in as a point guard
First year is the shooting on
But what is he going down in history
It's small for the best one
The best small four right
We spend a lot of time at point guard
Okay
This shows the diversity
All right he's in his box
They got him two years
Oh Shane would be in the shooting car box
I don't know.
We'll be comparing him to like the Jordan
and Kobe and stuff so
they have him. Now they have him as PG
he plays shooting guard two years. That's why these conversations
have taken up. They got shit as PG.
All right, let's keep this thing moving. Let's talk about another
situation with Grayson Howland and Chet Holmgren that went
down during this game. Let's take a look at this.
So midway through the third quarter with the thunder up big
Homegrid hit Allen with a mean box out
and route to getting an N-1. Obviously no foul was called,
Check got the foul got the bucket.
Moments later, Allen got his get back,
teeing off on Chet while Chet attempted to set a screen.
Then the Thunder Big Man crashing the ground,
minor skirmish ensued with players and coaches
from both teams.
Obviously, Jaylon Williams used the melee,
his opportunity to pump up the crowd.
Let's take a look.
You're saying he flopped on that shot?
Yes, Chet.
Yeah.
Because Grays and Allen built like a plopped.
Damn, man.
Two-haired push.
You see how his body bent like that?
That's a flog.
He was off his.
We got Shea's face right here, too.
Ooh.
Do it again.
Play was reviewed.
Alan was given a flagrant to ejected from the game.
So looking at that situation, like I said, I think Chad instigated it.
Grayson Allen came back, got his get back.
Did Grayson Allen deserve to get ejected for shoving Chet hungry?
Or was that just physical NBA?
Can he been ejected?
No.
I don't think he should have been ejected.
I mean, it's a hard foul.
He's just punk-ass out of it.
Like, let's just, I mean, no, no, no, to get ejected for that, though, that's not, no, no, no, no, it's a hard foul, but to get ejected, that's a bit more.
Get your goofy ass out of this.
To get ejected?
Hell no.
Every game.
No, now, that's the shit, okay, now what you said, now, that's the shit, I don't like.
Now, if we do it, because if they can play physical and then I come down to do that, yeah, yeah, okay, okay, yeah, I don't like that.
Oh, you just bull circle me just that.
No, no, no, I'm saying on that, no, that situation.
You just full circle me, all of me that.
No, I'm saying he don't deserve to get kicked out.
A foul, okay, but you can't out for that.
That's what I was playing football.
You're playing aggressive on the other than.
Okay, okay, okay.
And then I don't see that.
So if I know it's like that, then no, no, no, no, no.
I should be able to come down at least.
It's equal.
Yeah, yeah, I got it.
I got you.
For no reason.
Because you just hit me, bro.
You just hit me.
No, they said it just started.
Look, yeah, go back.
It just, it started with him.
Well, he's going to play four.
Yes.
Hit me right there.
What?
Boom, right?
Man, I barely touch you.
I barely touch me.
Okay, bro.
Okay.
Boom.
Look, then I fall.
Hit me right there.
This is, I'm getting my get back.
Not the same energy.
That same energy, dog.
No.
That ain't nothing.
Yeah, that ain't nothing.
He almost got her.
He almost got her.
Go up to the beginning.
That's how you get to the beginning.
That's how you get to get it.
That's how you get it.
Go on the beginning.
Go on the beginning.
All the way back.
All right.
All right.
All right.
Right here you go.
Watch.
Lay it slow.
All right.
Boom.
That's what.
That's what, man.
Watch.
All right.
This is one.
This is one.
All right.
Here it go again.
Yeah, that was with one.
And watch the second one.
Watch.
No, keep going.
Play, play, play.
Yep.
Watch the second one.
It's the second one.
Could have got hurt.
He could have got hurt.
No, I could have got hurt.
Man.
Oh yeah.
And Grayson is that I don't like you anyway.
Okay, I swear I don't like you anyway.
I swear he don't deserve to get kicked out.
Yeah, he don't.
You don't know.
You got me, I got your back.
Because you fell almost got down my knee and then you pimp me in my back.
No, no, no.
No, no.
No, I'm coming back.
Give me back right then.
No, no, no.
No, no.
No, he don't deserve to get kicked out.
Uh-uh.
No, no.
I'm telling you like this, not knowing that you just, boom, that's like the knocking them.
You've seen that.
No.
You know you do something dirty.
You know you do something dirty.
And I look at you.
you running down court and I'm looking at you like oh that's what we're doing tonight that's what we're doing
exactly and we definitely saying that if you do something dirty to me but you would say that
no listen if you do something dirty to me and we're running down court and I just see I felt that
you just did something dirty to me I'm looking at you I'm like oh that's how we playing tonight
yeah Nick hey that's how we're playing tonight you should know but when I say that to you
you should know I'm about to get you back in the club I step on your shoes in the club or
yeah oh how you come and just sock me the back of my head and just don't
some wine on your shirt.
Yeah, that's crazy.
Now that's even.
No, it's not.
How?
You just stepped on my fucking shoe.
Who what?
Do it when I step on your shoe.
I know I don't have to do it when you walk you do it, nigga?
Yeah, some people just remember.
What you're talking about?
So that means nothing.
Some people just got to remember.
If I hit you in your knee right now like that, right?
Boom.
Uh-huh.
I'm going to get you something.
I'm going to get to turn your head and you look back this way, you get hit.
You get it.
For sure, you know, right.
I'll be like, Nick, bye.
You ain't never got pushed and just kept going.
Yeah, no, you got pushing your back and you do nothing.
Yes, you just wait.
Yeah, and you wait.
So you got pushing then nothing and just kept playing like that?
If you get away with it, right, if you do it and get away with it.
If you let somebody push you and not do nothing.
The play was going on.
He don't like to comprehend what's going on.
If you get away with the dirty shit.
I don't care.
You don't think about that.
But you got to.
It's not a foul on you.
They didn't call it away with it.
You got away with it.
But you ain't get away with it.
Who don't thinking about it?
When you get pushed, you don't think about no motherfucking anything.
You just react.
No, you're thinking the rep didn't see that shit?
What the fuck?
The ref.
You didn't see that?
You push me in my back.
I'm going to be like, the rep didn't see it.
What the fuck?
I'm going to wait to next way.
Yes, I'm going to get my get back.
I'm going to push you back.
I'm going to push you back.
What the fuck?
There's already in one.
And he's on the flow, too.
Slap the n'y down.
Damn.
What's what is we doing?
Why would I do that, dude?
We're going to wait three other players and get you back.
It happened.
It happened with them like 30 seconds later.
See that he said it happened.
I think they went back down and they came back down and that's what it happened.
You pushed me in my back then down there break my legs after and then I wait until you come back.
You got away with it.
But he ain't get away.
Listen, it was an N1.
He shot his free throw.
They went down, came back.
Thank you.
And I'm getting my get back.
Why are you at the free throw line?
You're talking.
You're supposed to do something.
I did.
I told you out here.
That's how we're playing tonight.
Okay.
You said, you're on the free of the line.
I'm getting you.
I'm getting you.
No, he didn't say shit like that.
What you mean?
All right.
Nick, you tripping.
I almost lost two teeth doing that.
Look.
I tripped, I tripped.
Like he did something and he was running back and I tripped him.
Don't hit me why I'm not looking.
You weren't looking.
No, motherfucker.
Grayson Allen.
I'm coming.
Grayson Allen was looking when he got in.
Definitely got hip.
He got hit on the back of the day.
What's up?
Whipline.
When he got hit?
You see my, he looked me in my eye when I hit you in your chest.
You did the punk shit.
You did the punk shit.
You see his reaction as he got hit, right?
Now he's going to feel like, Nick.
That's what you're supposed to do.
Now, don't try that sucker shit with me again.
That's why OKC number one.
He never going to do that.
You see the reaction after he got hit?
Uh-huh.
He went straight into it.
He wasn't thinking about the real.
Who went straight into it?
After he got hit by Grace Anette.
Yeah.
He got up looking around.
There ain't no way in for the next place.
There ain't no way in the next place.
You don't need to you started.
Ain't no waiting for the next play.
I don't need to.
I'm not waiting to come buffing down the court to do that.
You got to remember, this place stop.
You stand, you stand 10 toes at the wrong time.
No, no.
The place stopped.
I ain't never got hit and waited for my motherfucking to go down the court and come back down.
You ain't never, the play, the place to finish.
I pushed you, they didn't call it, you're on the floor, I get an end one.
And you get a free throw.
I get a, I get a end one.
You still got a reaction.
Is it?
My reaction was my reaction.
What are you talking about?
No, no, I know what Nick saying is when it first happened,
he would have went right back out of it.
He's not waiting.
He's not waiting.
Now you get kicked out of the game.
He got kicked out of the game anyway.
Because he wanted to see if the rep don't let that shit go too.
He's noticed the ref let it go.
Who thinks of that shit?
There was a whistle.
Who thinks about when they get pushed?
I'm not going to front.
Because we're playing ball, Nick.
We're playing who?
I'm just like Nick, though.
I'm just like, if somebody do something
and somebody right away, I'm doing something right away.
Hold on.
Because I didn't know if it was an offensive file.
We don't know nothing.
You heard the whistle.
He got hit.
There was a whistle.
And one.
He was thinking that might be in the push.
Yeah, he didn't know.
He thought it was offensive.
He don't know what it is.
He already knew he got hit from the dam.
Yes.
So I got hit.
So I'm like, so I'm like, damn.
And then the play kept going.
Then I fall again.
You fell.
Go back and look.
Go back and one.
You don't know if it's an offensive foul or man.
No, but what I'm saying is he's
reacted to the first hit, right?
Boom.
He got the pass.
Go back.
No, Chad got through right now.
No, he got the rebound.
Right, so then he fall.
Look, look, look, right there.
Look, look at him right there.
Okay, so he still got up.
Okay, look at how he gets up.
I'm getting up like, I'm getting up like, what the fuck.
In the middle of getting up, like, God, damn, my nigga?
I'm pushing them out there right there.
And then I fall again, I could have got hurt.
I got you.
I know, but what Nick is saying is,
Right then and there, I'm doing something.
I'm not waiting to talk him back down.
Because you just got away.
You just got away with hitting me.
I'm going to get away with my big back.
You got hit, you got, I got hit twice.
Yes.
But I'm going to get away with mine.
No, I got hit twice.
And then you failed.
I didn't get up my life.
I didn't hit you.
I failed.
Right.
Well, you should have hit me in the first time.
And now you asked fell, now you, now you didn't, got it to some other shit.
Listen.
You know how it is.
We game banging out here.
All right.
All right.
I wish, you know how this game.
You should.
of my shit, guess where we're coming to your shit?
Don't, we're not coming right soon as you think we're coming?
Yeah, we will.
No, we got a week.
We ain't got no week.
We got a week.
We got a week.
Some got today.
We got to do it tonight.
Hey, do boy.
We got to do it tonight.
We got to do it tonight.
I'm not getting out the car.
That's what Grayson and Allen is.
I'm not getting out of the car.
There they go right there.
They come right there.
They put to get a burger.
Your boy said, let me out.
Which one looked like it hurt more.
Grace and Allen getting his little get back
right there, or what happened to him?
When he didn't know he was there, he didn't remember.
He didn't remember coming in, thinking it at the toll.
I got away with it, boo.
Nah, that's exactly what happened.
Don't you forgot about it.
Don't I forgot.
Don't you forgot about it.
No matter.
They don't matter.
Ricky.
You're having to Ricky.
You just forgot.
Ricky forgot.
I can't do that.
I'm a reaction.
I'm a reaction.
I'm going to be.
I did.
I had that same thing in Washington.
When Monte went up.
last, uh, it was, like everybody else react.
I just reacted, by the way.
I couldn't even wait.
Just like when they hit him, his whole, he reacted.
Should have baked the fish, did not need cornmeal.
A lot of things could have differently if they would have lived a healthy lifestyle.
And nobody got hit.
But they all reacted because they're expecting it.
Everybody reacted.
And nothing happened because they expected it.
So if you hit me, I want to hit you back.
You should, well, I'm going to, no, because everybody's expecting it.
So I'm going to, no, because everybody's expecting it.
So I'm going to wait.
Yeah.
Your ass running down the lane.
Bye-ha-ha!
Gotcha.
I'm gonna hit you when you behind your back.
I'm scared to hit you when you know it's coming.
I know.
I know.
I know it's coming.
I know it's coming.
I'm gonna wait till we go down.
Whatever.
Whatever, Chet.
I get your little bitch's up.
You know, push me out the way and fell into my knees, talking shit, me in the bucket, up by 50.
I'm just awake.
You say you never been in that situation?
I'm just wait.
You said you never been in that situation?
Have you ever been in that situation?
Have you ever been in a situation?
No, you hit someone and then you hit someone and then.
and then they waited and got your back.
No.
Okay.
See, I almost lost these two fronts ones.
I tripped Dallenberg.
He stumbled.
Three plays later.
I'm going to do a brush screen on the big man.
And he hits you?
Boom.
And what did you do?
Just hold your teeth.
Yeah.
My motherfuck of my mouth, man.
All on the, I was all in my phone, man.
I'm going to my car.
And they lost my fronts.
You didn't react?
Hell no.
I felt that.
Well, let's.
It hurts it did.
It hurts it.
You're talking about
I tried to get him back
after the game
I'm about to say
No, this city was black belt
I want that ass who
That's bullet with his teeth
You're fighting with hands
That little hit
The rep didn't see none of that
I felt it
It was just like

So there was another NBA Cup game
that we need to talk about the Spurs and Lakers
men in the West Quarter Final nightcap in Los Angeles.
It was the team's second meeting this season
after the Lakers nearly tricked off the first one back on November 5th.
Lakers were without LeBron in that game,
and the Spurs were without Wimby in this one,
with the Alien missing his 12th straight game
while recovering from a calf strain.
Spurs continue to hold it down without their franchise player,
putting the West on notice that they're ready to take a leap this season
and throw their names in the hat amongst the top teams in the conference.
Let's take a look at the highlights, unfortunately.
So Lakers' offense looked solid to start,
but their defense did not.
Spurs closed the first quarter in a 19-6 run to take a 39-30 lead after the first frame.
Come, run back, LeBron.
Look at him got to stop that.
Brian had his man covered.
Come on, Brian, run back.
Look at that shit, man.
Define Castle, having his way.
They slow in you.
They are.
They are.
Run back.
Damn, you turn it over.
Defense looking.
They are.
LeBron, run back on defense, bro.
Come on.
Defense looking musty and Krusty, Keldon Johnson doing his thing.
As previously known.
Van Antonio opened second quarter on an 8-0 run to extend the only lead to 17 and led by double digits for most of the game.
Spurs had seven players scoring double figures, led by last season's Rick of the Year's, Define Castle,
who had a season high 30 points on 10 of 14 shooting along with 10 rebounds, 6th assists.
Castle scored 21 of his 30 points in the second half.
DeAren Fox came through with 20 points going 4 of 8 from distance.
First bench outscored the Lakers 48 to 31 with Kelton Johnson putting up 18 points.
Julian Champany adding 17 and Dillon Harper contributing 13 points and 20 minutes of action.
Luca led the Lakers with 35 points on 11 to 24 shooting.
You also have five rebounds, eight assists.
Slovenian Jesus, knife, straight 30 point game.
Brown put up a double double, 19 points, 15 boards, eight assists, three blocks.
Austin Reeves finished with 15, eight boards and seven assists going six to 16 from the field.
Mark is smart though.
You'll be watching this game in our final playback.
Final playback watch party.
Marcus Martin won a few bright spots
for the purple and gold.
First game back after missing six
with a back injury.
He played 28 minutes at 26 points.
Eight for 14 from three.
Off the bench, okay.
San Antonio led by as much as 24 points
in this game.
And they outshot the Lakers
plus 13 free throw line.
We had talked about this.
Previously, Lakers
trying to draw those fouls.
Foul baiting.
Did not work out today.
Unfortunately.
Like I said, plus 13 free throw differential
for the Spurs.
Lakers tried to put their comeback together, it was not realistic.
What's your question, man?
I don't have one.
But here's your question.
It's not a figure his angle out.
He's not working on it.
I'm working on it.
I'm trying to work.
We got a ass, but we ain't got to do it.
I'm merely the best to see it.
So Spurs eclips 130 points in the game for the fourth time this season,
with each of those games coming with Wimby.
with Wimby sideline.
So biggest takeaways from the Spurs,
NBA Cup quarterfinal win over the Lakers.
I like the Spurs.
They kind of got like
an OKC
field when everybody
could shoot, score.
It's going to be hard to stop Fox and Castle
because they continue to grow
and get their confidence right.
So once that happened, when Wemby come back,
they're going to be dangerous, man.
I think
Texas, the South, or Midwest, what is Texas, the South or Midwest, what are they?
Southwest, did you say what it's?
So, OKC and Spurs, Texas is just taking over.
They're taking over, but Houston's.
A very large state.
Spurs, OKC, like, they're dangerous, brother.
And for us, okay, see, in Oklahoma.
Oklahoma.
So it's saying they got cows and dumbbells and shit like that.
Cows and dumbbells, yeah, yeah, cows and dumbbells, yeah, whatever them shit called.
Whatever they call, horseshoes, whatever.
They play that game, too.
I love it.
We're going to figure it out, though.
But, yeah, but Lakers.
What's y'all putting in?
What's that one day they used to play?
You got to guess what the thing was.
They said Austin Reeves better than Lucas.
Somebody said Austin Reeves better than Luca.
There's somebody on this couch?
If you see them on the couch right now, just look at their direction.
They got blue shoes on.
Blue shoes.
You got blue shoes.
Yeah.
Do you shit with some shit?
But now, Austin Reeves, they couldn't handle the pressure as the Spurs defense, picking up full court.
It was kind of hard for us, man.
Yeah, that's all I could say.
That's all you should have said.
The Lakers don't like physical defense.
They don't know.
This is sometimes you ever just listen to your friend, you're like,
you're like, my friend.
Don't change it.
No, no.
My friend is a dumb-ass.
I got a dumb-ass friend.
You ever think about that.
I'm not your friend, bitch.
Like, if the police come, you in trouble, this is just dumb.
Don't go to me.
Don't go to me.
He's got a dumb-ass friend, you know what I mean?
I don't know.
He's like, he had Dallas, he got Texas, and then Oklahoma, they all right there.
I don't care about getting out of hand, man.
I don't care about getting out of hand.
I don't care about getting out of hands all the time.
I don't care about getting out of hand.
Like, this is the one.
We're not little no more.
We're little more.
You know, we treat me like dating, man.
I'm just saying, hey, people out there.
He performed better when they get out of hair.
He is the friend that when he's cheating off you, he writes your name on his paper.
There's two Gilber's that up there.
That's what he does.
He just copy all of it.
He just copy everything.
That's him.
Oh, shit.
It's hot.
And they're at all right.
So what's in that subject?
I got information on this.
They said, like, what did we take from the game?
I mean, the Lakers are out of sync.
Was that sufficient Lakers out of sync?
They don't like physical defense.
No bench scoring.
They don't get back on defense.
They gave them 14 minutes.
They give up a lot of fast break points.
And teams can shoot 70% around the rim against the Lakers.
What was they free throws?
What was they free throws last night?
Spurs were plus 13.
I think Spurs at 39 and Stam's at 26.
26 to 39.
We're not getting the foul calls
they traditionally get they average in like 40 right so you average in 40 you only get 26
the discrepancy is going to be pretty large so if you think about the lakers in the way that
they play you take them out of their play style you end up with 20 point no they're around what
28 free throw attempts per game this is per game so they was at 26 I mean we're 23 to 36
so what did it would the spurs have uh spurs went to the line 36 times
If Lakers went to the line 20 did, they fouled.
The Spurs were aggressive and went to the hole.
They attacked the guys who don't want to play defense.
Yeah, and they play physical defense too, which the Lakers don't like because, as we've been seeing.
We don't like smart basketball.
Smart basketball, the easier basketball?
Yeah, we played, we played dumb basketball.
It's, it's really bad when you're playing against very athletic guys.
it's like really i mean obviously he's our best shooter he only took four shots right he is an
advantage he you know he makes the game simple they're gonna do a little puller like i'm starting
looking at him more i'm actually starting to like ruy a lot he's really good like he's really
good okay think about it all your stars is being one-on-one carrying teams that's hard to let go too
though they're a r's never been but you made him a number one everybody's making him a number one
You got to pay them $200 and something million.
You think like that, you average $40 and $10.
Your average of $40 with Luke out.
You got to, each one is going to bring the ball up.
They're fighting to bring the ball up.
They want to do their own things.
And the funny part is, two of them technically can't.
If you pressure Luke a full court, he, like, his dribbling is a half-court skill set.
He's not a ball handler.
He's not a ball handler.
Right?
That's a bit, like, people don't understand it.
Like, he's half-court manipulated.
to score, not just bring the ball up and, you know, like,
AR, how many times he got ripped last night?
Just off the pocket.
Yeah.
Just give me that.
Cookies.
But what's the strategy?
What was the strategy we say?
Pick them up.
Pick them up full court, make them.
And now you start your offense with 13 seconds on the clock,
12 seconds on the clock.
Now you got Brian with the ball with six seconds.
He threw it to 18 with two seconds.
You can't definitely do that.
They need a monk.
They need a monk.
They need a monk.
A chowling a monk or a million a two?
You need a what?
No, I'm telling you, the Nick.
He's got a lot of shit on the man.
Nick, Nick Smith, man, he's like for New York.
What's the guard that comes off the bench?
McBride.
That's who he is for us.
That's what.
But he can score better.
Like, he plays fat.
Like, I think Rui and Braun will be a lot better, get a lot of, a lot open shots if Nick was in the game.
Okay.
Because he's so fast, you have to collapse.
You see where Rui's been averaging shots per game the last.
five games. I think Rui's been complaining about not shooting the ball. He hit that game
winner in Toronto. It was like, damn, just give me the ball. Yeah. I'm shooting the other
ball. It's crazy though that he has the easiest game. Like, he just keeps it simple. Like, he
at this point, I'm like, like, I'd rather just get the ball to Rueh, because it's going to be
shot, right? One dribble, shot, one dribble, two dribble, pat. Like, it's a, it's a simple game
versus what we're seeing. Shimmy, shimmy, shake it, shake it, shake it.
From the 3
Yeah, 47% for the 3%.
It was like, we was like
It was like an 8-0 run
It was a run second quarter
And I think it was like a 10-0
It was like 8-0 run or something
And then AR just came down
Shot a long-ass 3 like a little why
I ain't shot it in a while
It was okay then go shoot a layup
And the Spurs came back down
And scored on that after that kid
And that be the shit that be
That hurt
If you watch who
If you're looking at that shit
You ain't got to be a Laker fan
just watching me like,
yo, what the fuck is he doing?
And why is JJ just letting him
just jack a shot up?
Then the team comes down and scores.
That's when it's timeout.
Bro, what the fuck was that?
Don't sit down over here.
Come have a fucking seat,
and they cut it to like eight or nothing.
Six?
Fox did, but I also like the way Fox's playing too.
No, them guards, not.
All of them.
They got shaking and all of them.
Like, ah, they ain't Harper.
Even Castle's shocking me.
Hopper's going crazy.
That first step.
It's bronze.
Man.
I'm like, ooh, you got that?
You been working on that?
That's what I think they're going to be dangerous.
Those are three good guards.
Like really good guards.
Go back to your Rui point, though, because Rui for the Lakers, you think about them going
to him now if they were actually to go to him, he's going to make the right play.
but taking advantage of his height
his skill set
like I said
JJ got to put a system in
where if these guys ain't functioning
your other guys can play
Aiden can play
Rui can play
Nick Smith come out
he can have an actual function
but when you just depending on these dudes
and you got A I like AR style
when it comes down to
take these two dudes away
AR go get your shit
cool
but when this
I don't think he has the IQ
to settle within the game and allow the game to come to him.
He wants to, I ain't got it yet, I want to try to shoot it.
But if he hits that long shot, right, it's hot.
We're like, damn, he hit that.
But, bro, when you miss two of them and you just come down and...
I know that feeling.
That shit nasty, bro.
Because everybody else on the team is like, bro, you just shot the shit with 17 seconds on the car.
For no reason.
For no reason.
You're on that swaggy pee.
He's on the spiking piece.
It's my fine, mother.
We can get you one easy.
We can get you an easy movie.
That's what gets you one.
Let's come down.
Let me pin down for you.
Oh, shit.
We'll make sure we're getting.
They are telling you all, this is my fucking.
You get, like, it's either you're going to be like, it's either one of those
hero shots or you're like, what the fuck is that?
It's like, there's no middle ground.
Like when he's scoring, you can tell he's getting buckets.
Yeah.
Like, because it's always splash plays.
Like everything gets splashy.
There's no, you look up and we're like,
yeah, he got 50 already.
Like it's not, everything is like
step back, fast break, shot three,
get the end.
I heard that.
It's always.
What?
I'm not going to let you talk about AR like that.
Because I heard that shit from you all my life.
Oh, man.
Everybody, you're making shots.
It's always big shots.
You're always up like this.
Are you damn like that?
AR is doing what AR does
because everybody, a lot.
allowed him to do that.
And you ain't going to take the boy confidence back.
Because he's averaging 30.
I'm not in the locker room.
You can't be happy one day when the shot's going in and then mad the next day when they're not.
You got to treat AR the same way you treat Lucas, all the other superstars too.
You can't just, no, no, no.
I ain't going to let you disrespect my corners like that.
Everybody on the team was looking ass too yesterday.
LeBron was getting ripped too.
Shit.
I'm just single A-R-R-out.
I'll fight for my man.
I don't even think he was this.
That's I do, because you said, I heard what you said.
No, I said either his shot is hooray.
What he's talking about it.
Or it's like, why did you take that shot?
See?
That's what I was saying.
Because every shot is, wow.
There's nothing ever easy.
Time is scoring.
He don't take no easy shot.
Like, he's not going to go down and take a regular layup.
It's going to be some crazy stuff
Every single time
Even if you do have to step back
Behind the back step back
Oh you're going to join in too
Huh
You join in too?
No I'm just saying
I mean we've seen the Laker struggle
With fast teams
You heard that shit
I heard that shit too many years
Yeah too many years
Bad shot maker
I hate that shit
You make taking bad shots
But you took easy shots
He don't take easy shots
But we labeling him
As a bad shot maker
Ain't no no no
It's not a label when we're watching the bad shot.
There's no such thing is a bad shot maker though.
Was Kobe a bad shop maker?
Yes.
You just said there.
But it's no such thing.
What the fuck are you talking about?
Because you got to let you go.
What the wrong with this thing?
Man?
There's no such thing.
I was going to say it's no good.
Turn this thing and turn it off.
I heard his fucking mic on.
But I was like the same.
I heard him.
Got him.
Got him.
You never said that about Kobe, though.
That's why I was about to say.
You never said that about Kobe.
You're embarrassing.
I'm going.
What's your talking about?
You're embarrassing.
We're talking about it.
They can't care.
It's that Mr. Roger's sweater.
Is that really pretty kiddo girl?
And you take that girl to that fancy ransomment?
And they ask her what you want?
No, no, no, no.
I'll take the order.
Just sit there with red on this.
Yeah.
Just be cute.
Don't say shit.
Don't say nothing.
Don't say nothing.
Just be cute.
Oh, God, damn.
Don't call me cute.
Don't talk.
Don't talk.
Don't talk a little.
It's look bad.
Ain't no such thing.
Ain't no such thing.
It ain't no such thing.
What the fuck?
There ain't no such thing.
Fuck y'all.
That's what I'm going to say.
That's what I'm going to say.
That's what I'm like fucking.
So let's talk a little bit of spurs since they did with the game.
It's hilarious, man.
Was Kobe a bad shot maker?
Yeah, but...
But, yeah.
No.
No.
Don't leave him.
How much time you got to love?
I'm proud of this shit.
Don't work, Spurs.
We've got a few more things that's got.
Spurs are without Wimby for the 12th straight game.
Recovered from a Calf Strain.
So San Antonio went 13 and 23 in the 36 games
Wimby missed last season,
but are now 9 and 3 without Wimby this season.
Surprisingly, they have a higher offensive rating
in the stretch without Wimby,
and Saffan Kassel only playing three games in that time frame.
DeR. Fox averaged a 25.7 assist.
four rebounds the past 12 games.
And as to be expected, their defense has suffered,
but they still found ways to win games.
Currently fifth in the West with a record of 17 and 7,
the same record as the Lakers, who are in the four spot.
So how impressive has this Spurs team been without Wimby?
After one game, we dropped to four?
That's a cold game out here, grab your sweater.
I told y'all, you know, I'm a Spurs and the Knicks for the season.
A dual threat.
seeing that Wemby's has been out.
I told you that the new coach had those guys
playing at a championship level early on,
preseason, training camp was well.
They all know what their roles are.
And they wasn't even healthy when Wembe was healthy.
So now that DeR.
DeR. Foss is back.
Castle just got back out there.
They'd been meaning to get him back out there
because they was missing that a little spark,
but they were still winning.
So like I said, there's something to look forward to.
I think there'll be a challenge for OKC, for sure.
I think getting them healthy, they'll be a team to go out there and run up and down with
them, challenge them both sides of the floor.
And once Wembe gets back and he fits back into the mold of what they're doing, I think it's
going to be something that they can look forward to as a franchise, getting that energy back,
getting that camaraderie back.
And I think playoff is going to definitely be something to look forward to.
forward to show.
Yeah, I think without Wimby, I mean, they lose that
defensive presence. Offensive, they're able to move the
ball more. I think with Wimby there, the ball gets stuck a little bit, so
they're moving the ball more. The defense rating is going down a little bit, but
their officer plus five since he's been down. Yeah, man, I mean,
they're young. I mean, they're young, and like you said, they're like
OKC, man, so they're going to be fine, man. This is going to be a scary
team and I feel like that whole
dynamic of the spurs is coming
back around again in this
air
Gilbert J Arena
I don't like that narrative about
the uh what was their offensive rating
they had a higher offensive rating
it's not uh just five more points
more oh five more points more
because of but defense they're negative
12 because and what did I say
when I read that no I'm saying but you're
you're making it seem like Fox
was there the whole time Fox wasn't
last 12 games was when me there last 12 games no okay so obviously they're going to have more
points because the point guard who scores is actually there ta-da right we're making it seem like
they were they were all together they was averaging this they were not all together he leads
there with the team to start the same so daren fox wasn't there when he was playing and then
they played a couple games together 1201 130 something and then win me down and then it's
It's guard play now moving forward, so yeah, they're just moving a little bit faster.
They're getting buckets at a high level, but the point being the team is nine and three.
Just wanted to check that.
Nine and three without Wimby.
Nah, they're balling.
13 and 23 last year.
They ball.
That ball.
They got.
The defense, though, what is one thing they don't got that O KC got?
They got everything I feel that O KC got.
Experience.
Just a little bit, just a little bit more experience.
Tough bars.
They got all that, yeah.
They got big guys, cornet.
I like cornet matches up with a hard time.
They got a bench.
You know, Wembe, Chet.
Do they have better scores?
One through five?
I think Castle and Jaylon Williams
is probably a better score than Castle.
Yeah, I think right now.
Castle is more athletic.
But then you have Blue Dort and...
I think Johnson can be more like Lou Dort.
And I think you got Penny,
can be Caruso or Wiggins.
Vassel as well, Harrison Barnes.
Wallace.
You know, you got a bunch of guys.
I don't think they got a Harper, though.
I don't think they got a Harper, though.
I don't think OC, OKC got a Dillon Harper.
No, no, not that bit.
I don't think they got Dillon Harper.
That's going to be the difference.
The major difference is going to be Fox and.
Well, yeah.
He has to step his game up for SGA because that's going to be.
Yeah, that's what I mean, but I think D. Fox is going to be fine with that.
I mean, you know, Mr. Clutch, he liked the moment.
He liked the moments.
And he got them dogs behind him now.
So it's different than Sacramento.
Fox has been down while SGA's been coming up.
So the whole last year, a whole year before that, he'd been watching this progression.
And this is on their health, too, though.
Should, right?
I mean, I don't know Wimby only played 12 games.
I feel like he played more than that.
So he's missed the past 12.
Another question for you guys.
There was talking about Wembe was reportedly going to try to come back for this game on Wednesday,
but potentially playing in the NBA Cup semis Saturday.
He started against the Thunder.
Yeah, he's been working out.
He was working out before the game.
He's going to come back against the Thunder?
So do you think he should come back?
against the Thunder or just keep it parked.
And it's his calf?
You can't stop him like that.
Man, I'm weary about the calf stuff, man,
especially with somebody like him.
Because he's going to have to play at a high level in that game.
I mean, he changes, I mean, he changes.
Like somebody like him, and the same thing with the White Howard, right?
I remember the White Howard was always saying,
never reach.
If your man goes by you, just get my man.
man, right? Just that little dump off pass. Do not reach and try to get that steel. That still
is not yours. Let them shoot over me. That's the same thing that Wimby is going to have to do with
this young team. Like, yo, don't bail them out, right? Let them finish over me, right? You know,
you're guarding them forward to and then from there dump back for these outlet passes, right? And just
let them finish over me because me, you know, as you is not going to be able to bump into me
and do all that. Right. I can just stand straight up and, you know what I mean? So,
So once they get their defense tight, they will be very, very, very dangerous.
I know what, I play with him on 2K.
A 2K legend.
You're going to have to keep him out the paint, though.
Make it stretch forward and have somebody at the three-point line.
Let me think, chill for this one, let the Thunder do what they do.
I'm saying, I would say play.
You say play.
Yeah.
I'm saying playing.
He's too unique.
Well, this is why I say.
Monitor is minutes, though.
I say play for this game because what kind of momentum does O KC have right now?
A lot.
A lot.
So if you can go in and break that momentum with your team for the league to just say, look, somebody can beat that.
That's what I want to see that.
Now, let's say he comes back and they blow their ass.
That's why I said, conversely, thank you, 40-pits.
I'm like, I got to change my whole shit up now.
I mean, but that's the risk that you take, though, right?
I mean, that's the risk that you take.
We still get to see it.
So at the end of the day, the Spurs, they have a lot of confidence right now, too.
Like, they've been hoping without them.
So it's not like, you know, so why not?
Let's just see it.
It's a be a real fade.
That's going to be a real fad.
Oh, my God.
I'm glad we're talking about it.
Spurs and Detroit.
Yeah, I'm going to say.
And Denver, too, though.
That Detroit game is going to be nasty.
Stewart going to make that thing.
He's going to be junkie.
See, the thing about Detroit, though, they take their foot off the gas sometimes.
like and that's the only thing
what is their gas
the gas is one guy
but I'm saying like if he's not
but what I'm saying
okay C is they don't ever take
like you know when you play okay C
you gotta go all out 48
like you can't be fucking around
like this can't be no
like you know like like you said
Denver like Denver I want to see Denver
I want to see the Spurs
it just depends on if Detroit
if Detroit going to play the whole
like Isaiah Stewart
like you're going to lock in
or are we going to be in this battle
to where you know what I'm saying
we're trying to fight like are we going to be fundamentally sound and we're going to be mature enough
to understand you we got to beat these guys that we can see in the finals like this is not to
be fucking around with like this is a eastern conference and western conference finals
Detroit matches Detroit versus New York Spurs it is uh I like I think Jaylon Brown might be in there
Magic Knicks uh oh magic Knicks that could beat one too though oh that's the that's the cup
yeah the cup shit magic nix oh magic nix oh magic nix I thought
I think Nick Spurs, Spurs Thunder.
I got it.
Yeah, I want to be.
Nick.
Nick Spurs will just tap off, you know, the shots.
This is hard, though.
It's probably the best team.
Go come half and half.
There's going to happen half.
Go with the Knicks at the end-season tournament.
Everybody liked the end season tournament.
We're just stuck with it.
I think it's one of the best team, Adam Silver did.
It's all right.
It's good when the Lakers win in it.
It ain't good when it ain't in it.
Oh, that's good.
Count when the Lakers in it, it don't get thought.
It ain't shit, but it ain't in that moment.
You see how the conversation is.
It's kind of like, they kind of, they kind of like,
who cares about this?
You don't take it anymore?
Nobody is going to be watching the Spurs OKC yet.
See, we talk about everybody.
Look at everybody.
Everybody's going to be paying attention to the Knicks.
For what?
Because it's a, that's a casual mindset.
Yeah, bro.
Sir.
Yeah, that's good.
We like, we like, we like, I level best.
90% of the world is casual.
He got his jacket, zipped all the way.
He does have his jacket.
Don't mind him today.
So let's shift over quickly to the Lakers side of pain.
Lost Wednesday night moved him from second to fourth in the West,
same record as a spur.
So after getting eliminated from the NBA Cup,
JJ Redick has some harsh criticism for a squad.
The things that help you win on the margins
we're just not very good at right now.
And, you know, we've got to ask a little bit more of everybody.
you know, we don't crash.
You know, we can't force a lot of turnovers.
We did a terrible job at the end of the first quarter
and the second quarter of end-a-quarter stuff,
so that immediately we're behind the eight ball there.
And if a team shoots well, we're going to be really in trouble.
You know, very few teams don't have,
Something that you can expose and you know, we we've consistently got exposed at the same things
What's that?
You're talking about it all the guards containing the ball point of attack defender
No, just play his own just man just just see let's get a goddamn three-two with JJ because he seems to fucking he's fucking it up
Just play three-two man fucking
Like one three one yeah, we can't guard nobody man and think about it if they think about it
If they can't move their feet and we plan against the spurs, who the spurs don't got?
What don't they have, an inside presence?
They got all drivers.
Why are we pressuring the perimeter?
Why are we not in the gaps?
Why are we not forcing them to shoot jump shots?
And then you say, we don't crash.
How are you going to crash?
You got the slow, you got slow-footed motherfuckers that can't get back on defense.
So what would you crash for?
That's why teams shoot 70% around the room.
So what happens is instead of crash,
you execute your fucking offense.
It's called execution.
Patience.
Let's run it all the way through.
Get a good shot.
Let's get back on defense.
So now we're not giving up long, fast breaks based on bad shot.
Yeah, what happened to getting back?
I don't understand why we don't get...
I remember training camp.
Yeah, we had to get three back.
I remember training camp.
Never get...
I remember training camp.
Two back and the point guard better say I'm back.
A hundred percent.
I always had to scream, yo, I'm back.
I'm back.
I'm back.
And then you're telling everybody.
Get back.
Yo, yeah, yo, I got ball.
Yo, get ball.
Take the ball first.
I don't know.
Do you shoot the ball?
I mean, but it's black and printing camp too, though.
You can't teach that no more.
Fundamentals, though.
All the shit we learn early.
All they do is shoot early.
That's what I'm saying.
So he's in the press conference saying the things that coaches are supposed to handle in the first quarter.
What adjustments are happening?
They get in long rebounds.
They out early.
So what are we doing?
We're taking bad shots.
We're bailing them out.
Let's drive them lanes.
Five them lanes.
Let's get them in foul trouble.
But your three stars are the ones not getting back.
Two.
Two.
And you...
Three.
I'm correcting...
Keep going, nigga!
You know, I'm supposed to be nothing that to knock you off the stride, bro.
Come on.
I'm going to fuck this thing up.
The two, they're not getting back.
I forgot what I was.
You're not getting back on defense.
Yeah, they're not getting back on defense.
Yeah, whatever, man.
That was a good take.
It was high.
It was right.
That was good.
And I get back on defense.
You should just always get to the point.
I'm like, I'm like broke knee gear.
I'm just saying.
Broke knee gear.
That was a good take, man.
The janky need.
What is it?
Don't do it.
Don't fill it with smoke.
It takes you on the clear out.
Get back on defense.
Get back on defense.
That was a good ass take.
Clip that.
Clip that.
Clip that.
Clip that.
Take him to death.
Take him to death.
No, what you said, though, about the zone...
The show is back on again.
When you're leaving?
What you said about the zone, though?
I was thinking when he was talking like a matchup zone.
After three passes, they in the zone matchup after three passes.
They get the ball six seconds in the shot clock.
We know where we at now.
And you don't got no post presence, so you're really not worried about nobody scoring in the post.
But do you want to play a zone with people that's already lazy, though?
Like, lazy on defense.
But we're matching up after two passes.
You're giving up shots when you're comfortable.
They already can't move like that.
They're comfortable.
What are we giving up first?
What are we giving up for?
We're giving up drive layups.
Yeah.
So which one would you rather give up?
A 30% three or a 90% two?
90% twos, straight line drives with no rim protection.
Aitin and fucking Jackson Hayes, they ain't shot.
lockers like that?
Yeah.
At this point, I'm playing both of them at the same time.
Yeah, I would.
I'm gonna just play both at the same time.
And see what, yeah.
Like, especially at the end of, end of quarters, I need to see what they both can do together.
Right?
I don't mind that.
Yeah, it's just double pick, double pick one's rolling straight to the rim.
Do the horns up top?
Yep, do the horns.
Oh, I'm taking out.
Horns.
Horns look too.
Who are you taking out, Brian?
When, like, when Bronon do that herb.
sit.
Okay, good, good.
Rui and Rui in there?
Yeah, bring the other one.
Yeah, have Rui at the three and then the two guards.
That's a nice line.
Hey, that's a nice line.
Three.
Or I mean, him in, right.
Yeah, he ran four.
Four, we're eight and at the five.
That's what they've been doing.
Yeah, but I'll play them and just see what those two look like.
We won't, we'll have a lot of rebounding.
We'll make sure we get all the rebounds, and then from there you just outlet.
Think about how the defense has to play that horn set, too.
You got horns up top.
up top, Rui in the corner, AR in the corner.
Luca up top coming off one rolling, run rising.
That's actually good for Aiton, too, because you're rolling with motherfucking Jackson
Hayes to the rim, you can throw the lob to him because he liked the lob.
You can throw it back to Muckin' for the little middy.
Then you can go dribble handoff with motherfucking AR on the side over here, still got
Rui in the corner.
You got help?
It's a bunch of actions that's happening.
Do you feel they got a monitor, LeBron, in it?
Do you feel like you?
A liability at times, like you think of this thought.
He looked like it last night.
Yeah, sometimes, yeah.
They're all on that defense end for sure.
That's what I'm saying, like on that part.
What's the funny part is his defense is bad and it's still better than.
It is.
Still better than Lucas.
Think about it.
Yeah, but it's contagious.
Huh?
It's contagious.
Who, LeBron or Luca?
This is Lucas team now.
Like, what's the funny?
I'm saying.
I heard it wasn't Lucas team because Bronn got out of this.
This is Lucas team.
I think we said yesterday it's not Lucas team.
This is Lucas team, right?
Back Street Boys concert.
And they were actually picking on A.R. yesterday.
Yes.
You were, too, though.
I was like, wait, whoa, look.
You know, Lucas out here?
Yeah.
It's like, now, who went to the southern way?
Because he's thinking about his shots.
He's thinking about I'm trying to come down.
They think he's off.
Yeah.
Fuck guarding this, motherfucker.
That whole team.
But JJ don't want to call him out.
I know he feels like he wants to say something to get a rise out of the guys
without pointing it out.
But he was doing it before when he first got there.
Nah.
So why stop now?
Before, before Luca got there?
Yeah.
I mean, what?
I mean, same thing.
Get your ass down there and play some defense.
If you want, I mean, I'm just, okay.
There's going to be the same thing every time.
If you can't be coached and you can't be criticized for what you do, then you're not going to be successful.
Okay, full circle.
Ain't that called accountability?
Yeah.
Okay.
Hold them accountable.
So why couldn't JJ say, hey, listen, I need AR in my.
I'm fucking Luca to play some more defense.
I need y'all to get better.
Publicly.
Oh, you do that publicly?
Publicly.
You're going to be public.
I'm like, hey, gee.
So I got a guy.
I don't like this.
I don't like this.
I'm just saying.
I need my best players to step up on a deepness of end.
You don't get your ass fired publicly.
You don't need to do everything publicly, man.
The whole world on needs to talk and be in your locker room.
If we're doing it in the locker room.
And we're doing it in the film session.
Behind closed doors.
and y'all still go out there and you still go out there and you don't fucking play defense
now what do we do nothing you better sit there and do these interviews just like that talking cold
you're just you're asking cold for sure he's not saying some shit he's like man I want to hold
these motherfuckers accounts maybe if maybe two or three guys got back I said names though you better
be a group of us that's what he's saying he's maybe we're not we're
We need to do this, we need to play better.
It's like, who is we, dear?
We, we.
Baby.
You talk like a hot train.
The start playing better to be able to look around like, yeah.
Yeah, we do need to play.
You talk like you got a gun to your back, though.
Talk like a hostage.
Talk like a hostage.
Like, I got you this job.
I built this shit.
I can't even defend it because I, I used to do that.
Excuse me.
Who did to get back?
We.
Us, right, us.
All the place.
I'm gonna get in trouble for it, yeah.
I mean, they'd be whining that film and everybody looking at me like,
they won't yell at me like.
They won't yell at you.
Not the point, though.
No, not the point though.
They won't yell at it.
You mean the film says you can see everybody like, hey, no.
It's going to get mad at Gil and yell at me.
Yeah.
They're really mad at Gil, but take you that on me.
You hit that rewind button and you start seeing the same nigger.
Mr. Sange.
You know what it is though?
You know what it is though?
video guy who really don't fuck with you because you're the main guy and he's mad so he'd be like
look at this shit right and he's gonna keep going because he really don't like because the
guy who won't get the job really don't like the man guy because you know you're really
going to fuck with him because you know he's like coach did you see this part yeah so then in the
film he's like look at this shit and they just stop it on you knowing that you got 30
but hold on just stopping right we find that shit right now I remember we got to do better guys
I remember one time we was playing okay Francis in right that's all shit and uh and uh
They called the pickout, right?
Hard show, and I just opened up.
Steve Francis went down, banged it.
Boom!
Like, ooh, God damn.
We get the film session.
As soon as I'm looking at it, right?
I see it, I did.
Oh, shit.
Look right at coach like this.
So he'd do it.
Stop it.
Antoine.
Why didn't you deny this film?
Antoine.
Me?
All right, play it.
Boom.
Rewind.
Dude.
Play.
Brendan.
Everybody.
Everybody else, right?
Everybody else.
He rewiled that play.
Steve Francis ducked the whole time, right?
Never mentioned me once.
Everybody's like, yeah.
Oh, this is some bullshit.
Scows and Van Gundy, they were made to happen.
Motherfuckus, get back on the defense, motherfucker.
Scows and Van Gundy, they was late.
me have it.
No.
Let's see Van Gundy.
You know, he don't care.
He letting everybody happen.
Yeah.
Film session three hours.
We stop in everything.
Oh, yeah.
I was already on the defense.
The tip off.
Look at us.
The tip off.
Damn, he paused it.
Like, they just, we don't look ready.
We need to get better.
All of these clips are me.
All of these tips are me.
You keep saying, we need to get better, but every clip is me.
Oh, the whipping boy.
The whipping boy.
Yeah.
Oh, my God.
What?
I had the worst film session against Gil.
I remember Gil?
The last game in December when you came before you got suspended, that last game.
Man, Gil came down, pick and roll every time off the thing.
He told me before the game, he said, you're not going to do nothing with me because your big
man keep backing off.
He told me and Calvin Sands, I'm like, yo, so Bogie, he said you backing up, you need to come.
First five, first five plays, Gil, boom, boom, I come out the game.
Next film session is all me.
I said, thank God they got this thing out the league.
Ain't a no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, he told us before the game, he said, yeah, big always drop off, BJ, so you're not going to, and Brandon, hey, he's going to go, he's going to pick you, and I'm going to come off, boom, boom, boom, every time, and it was like that every time.
That film session, fuck friends up, boy, I ain't going to lie.
Film session is dangerous, because, listen, if you're not strong, you shouldn't be in a film session.
Like, you go sit in the back somewhere nobody can see you, because film session is, whew, we got a, we got all.
It's accountability.
And don't let the motherfucker
coach be doing asterix
and giving you plus points
and shit on shit you're doing
nigger deflections and fucking
and motherfucking charges
you're like yeah
all that shit
Nick you've got a fun though
because you think about
taking the charge
and you're out there
you plan for something
you plan for something
now don't let the one coach
in there that don't like nobody though
yeah you motherfuckers
he come in there just
everybody's fucking up
every time
but a year back to that type of shit
you see guys like AR and Luca
that's what they're saying
in Dallas, bro.
It can't hold you accountable
because what you're doing for us
on the offensive end.
Yeah, yeah.
We don't want you to stop doing that
based on being sensitive on what we're doing,
calling you out on the defensive end.
We want you to actually accept that shit,
except the fact that we're trying to challenge you
to do a little bit better, bro.
Just give a little bit of effort.
We didn't tell you to shut niggas down.
It's ways you could say it to people.
I don't think they even want to say it at all.
You think about it.
If I'm Luca, don't tell me shit.
Don't tell me nothing.
I'm not using 35 then they're triple double you know rebounds and assists I'm doing everything
because I can play defense and then I can shut all this office man can we get a ring then
out of it there yeah at some point because the ring gonna shut me up the the ring will shut me up
because if you do what you do and you do all that the ring going to set me up this 30 this 35 nine
and a day we just see that when sack left coach we didn't see them numbers just give him a
ring he shall you can cheat do whatever you won't get the ring they never
They still.
They still.
They still.
No, no, you're going to shut up when you get fired.
Didn't you give it a ring?
Didn't work, did it?
Celebrity.
It's different.
It's different.
It's different celebrities.
Well, how this is on me today?
What's going on?
It's the sweater.
You came to here with the number one option.
That's the number one option sweater.
It's the number one option sweater.
Hapsip.
Hapsip.
Yeah.
You got a sweater with a wife be the wrong.
It's Jason Taylor.
The Jason Tatum collection.
Wait, wait, wait, the jacket came...
The jacket came with the shoes.
Yes, it comes with the shoes.
It's a collection.
Oh, so that's a Jordan sweater.
Yeah.
Oh.
They're saying, it's like JT somewhere on the other thing.
Oh, wow.
Oh, that's, oh, that is actually Jason.
Oh, shit, okay.
Oh, shit, okay.
I thought that was...
We thought, yeah, we thought...
Oh, yeah, no, I thought...
Oh, is that saying with you?
Yeah, he fucked with you.
Yeah, it's my dog.
We talk like that.
Who'll be on my mind, though.
He ain't saying me nothing.
All right, well, we got two more quick
things to discuss before we move on.
That's funny that it came yesterday
too after you was talking shit. I couldn't wait.
Clippers have been a hot mess this season, but James Hardin
has been a bright spot for the squad.
We're going to give James Hardin some love, Swaggy.
L.A. Audubon Jr. High.
Artisia.
I'm going to give him some love. Thank you. They won?
No, no. Of course not. Of course. Harder's been
a bright spot for the squad. Join some elite
company last weekend. Let's take a look at the
highlights. So Hardin dropped a game high
34 points in the Clippers' loss of the Wolf's
Saturday, moving him past Mello for 10th on the NBA's all-time scoring list.
Harden out the third active player in the league to crack the list, joining LeBron and
his former Thunder and Nets teammate Kevin Wayne Durant.
They're just hardened appreciation this Thursday.
I'm talking about all together.
That's like 28,000.
Oh, he's going to get to 30.
Yeah, he's going to get to 30 for sure.
I think he has the ability to climb up all the way to the 8th by the end of this season.
He keeps getting buckets at the level that he's getting buckets down.
Wing, wing, wing.
What?
What?
Look at that.
How far is Steph off on, man?
He's far.
Westbrook is in front of him, so, I think.
Is Westbrook's up in front of him?
Right now.
Westbrook number one?
Play guard?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Def currently 22nd.
Yes, like a little over 1,000 behind Westbrook.
Westbrook or less than about 700 behind Westbrook oh yeah he'll get it he'll get it
he'll get it right thousand wait my math is off yes that's okay we get we yeah I'm
like I'm like he's still bawling a little bit now too no he's balling to get another
contract the Westbrook trying to still get it demar de rose in 24th if you guys are
interested in here in that but let's talk about a lot of Los Angeles
LA in yeah that's how 25 but how is hard to influence the game
offensively during the time in the league I mean you know you know
You know, if he never wins a chip, I mean, one thing he can say is, man, he changed, he changed the game, right?
When you're talking about the zero step, the step back, like the gathering step.
I mean, he brung so many different ways to score, so many different, like, questionable.
fundamental footwork into this game, man, you got to give him his credit because
without him reading the rule book and applying it and sitting with reps and
working on these moves, everything was a trouble to us, right? So the fact that there
was something called a zero step and all that, I mean, it's just, just a creative mind.
You know, even if he doesn't win a championship, man, he did change this game offensively.
You got to give them his respect too.
I think people more, good take.
People more mad that, people more mad.
No, no, stop, man.
Oh, my bad.
Shit, let me, let me go crazy this motherfucker.
All right?
Okay.
Let me go crazy.
All right.
This is a James Harden conversation.
Shit.
No, but for real though, like he had like a little bit of AI in him.
Like, people who have more.
mad that he didn't go he went out did it his way and he still came in and
average what he did stepbacks feel like me more mad that he couldn't beat the
warriors they want to put penalize him for being him going out to the strip clubs
but he still does what he does so you got a top ten all-scoring what they're
going to say now nothing wrong with going to the strip club and nothing wrong with
it did he almost beat you guys like with
Was he that serious?
For real.
Was that the series where they missed all those threes?
Yeah.
They missed 27.
Oh.
That's why they were more than her two running from a second.
Can someone check to see if Donahue was on that?
No, no, no.
They shot 273.
They missed 27 in the row.
Nah, Fosser.
See if Fosser was on that game.
They missed 27 in a row three.
No, no, there was some.
I remember looking at some of them.
They ain't got nothing to do with Foss.
They said like seven of those was like foul.
It was one that was a foul.
They called it back.
See if Foster was a.
on that game. But if seven wasn't with files, 20 of them still miss.
So with James Harder, man, I think he's one of the, one of the best.
He was?
Foster was in the game. The Foster free.
But they ain't got nothing to do with 27 missed free.
Yeah. No, because someone was fouls and they didn't call them.
All right.
27 mysteries, though, yeah.
For me, I think, you know, Harder's one of the best regular season scores, especially
for his position, you know, and I think a lot of people don't really pay attention to his
facilitating. You know, he's a hell of.
a passer. You know, he's an elite passer too, underrated. Since he left OKC, you know, when he got
with, you know, the Rockets, you know, even when he was averaging 35 or 36 a game, you know,
he was still averaging seven assists a game. So the only thing has changed now is that the fact
that he just can't, you know, he's not scoring 30 and 40s every night. But other than that,
you know, he's still showing that he's, he's, you know, he can still do what he do at
at his best. And, yeah, man, he's one of the great ones.
So when you look at James Harden, how it's hard to influence the game offensively during his NBA career?
Well, he's done it in two different facets from the shooting guard aspect.
He's done it, and he's done it from a point guard aspect.
And I think even before Houston, it wasn't in Houston.
I don't think he was doing it from a point guard aspect.
I think he was doing it from a shooting guard aspect where you break down the hoop of it.
You look at Lucas step back and you look at James Harden step back.
And what the difference is is James Hardens is left-handed.
So it looks different.
It looks a lot more, a little bit more separation, a little bit more awkward, and he's
getting the foul with it because you don't know how to guard it from a left-handed player.
So you switch that and you look at Lucas step back.
It's similar just without the extra little step to gain extra separation.
But James would set you up with the twing twing twing, twing, twin, twin step.
And if you think about it from how we've hoop, if you're doing it on the right side, it's
tween, twine, twine, step.
It's the same separation.
It's the same field.
We get that shot off.
All we really need is the space to shoot it.
He's left-handed.
So to me, he just created an opportunity as a ball handler to mix in a jump shot
and not have to go all the way to the rim all the time.
Then when he does go to the rim, he developed that floater.
All right, I can get that bitch.
But he was dunking that shit.
He was doing that.
He was dunking that, man.
thugging that shit. So that made him so
not damn. And the girl was pretty dope to it. Yeah.
So, I mean, he didn't have to
have too much shit in his game.
He went to his spot. His spot
is over here on this right
wing. I got you in this
motherfucking doulo twist. And
it's torture for whoever come out here.
Is that the same as Shee, though?
I don't think it's
the same as Shee because
this is something where...
It's a bait you in a fouling like a motherfucker.
But he, you don't have to
file him. But this is. This
is a three ball that if you don't get close enough to me to even affect my shot, it ain't
nothing you can do. And I ain't trying to flop. I ain't trying to flop, you know what I'm
saying? So James deserves the flowers. I think he's one of those guys who can, he can get into
the 33,000. For sure. You know, if they don't try to mellow him out of the league. Oh, man.
Damn. That's a verb now. Yeah, man. Don't mellow him out of league. Mello could be top.
top six if he on they don't do what they did to him so we seeing these type of dynamic guards
he's saying the right things though i mean who hard you're doing a right legacy though that's
crazy though i mean push mj damn j's fifth now this is just well look mj was never tripping
on that no i know i'm just saying but just looking at these dudes now the scoring the scoring thing is
one thing but when we talk about your overall legacy that's another thing now so you can you can be
top five top ten and scoring all you want but when it comes down to
to your legacy of what you've been doing when the game was on the line, that's a whole different
type of thing.
What you're trying to say?
He's still top five, man.
What you're trying to say?
Nobody's going to remember.
Yeah, they will.
What you're trying to say?
Yeah, they will.
They're going to remember it.
Yeah, they will.
Yeah, they will.
How is Kareem's legacy at the end of the game?
I mean, I mean.
How about Bill Russell?
We don't know.
We don't know.
No, but what I'm saying is, they're knowing that.
30 years from now, man, they see the Harvard.
What I'm saying is, no, but what I'm saying is, they're known as
champions. So when we talk about guys' legacy, since we're going to talk about LeBron James,
and we're going to talk about Chris Paul and all these guys when it ends, I mean, yeah, like
regular, yes, James Hardin is great. He's good. But when it comes to, like, when the team needs
them in a game seven, I mean, four different teams, you went home.
You're trying to say he Fraser McGready? You're trying to say Tracy McGregory.
No, no, I'm not saying, I'm just saying, like, when we start talking about guys' legacy overall,
like I get, we get the points, but since we're going to say we're talking about Chris Paul,
Not being in the win.
Was Scott James Hart with Pady and Steph and Clay Thompson?
That's the only reason he didn't fucking win.
I mean, well, I guess everybody, I guess everybody in the fucking 90s got the same
thing too.
Yeah.
Was he lost to Michael Jordan?
Okay.
Michael Jordan.
No, and LeBron James too was in that shit too.
So it doesn't matter.
If they were to beat us, they're not beating LeBron James in the front.
They're not beating LeBron James in a crazy shit.
We swept the fuck.
They were the blood.
That's why I didn't win the championship.
Hold on.
Can you pull up James Harden's stats in those game sixes and sevens that we can talk about?
Oh, no, no. I'm talking about game sevens with four different teams that he played with, that he didn't take it over the top, right?
No, I'm just saying, no, but regular season. That's why I said regular season, yeah, but we're talking about.
That's what I'm asking you. I'm asking you in those playoff games that he didn't show up and take it over the top.
Is that what you're referring to?
Look who he ran.
I mean, if we're talking about a great, if we're talking about greats, like what type of great that we're talking about?
Because there's a certain type of table when it comes to greats.
We got the Steph, LeBron, and Michaels, and Kobe's, and all of them.
Now, when we're talking about greats, yeah, you can put that jacket on, but that's over there.
So, like, when we, we're going to give guys their flowers, but we sit up here and we talk about LeBron all the time, right?
LeBron can't do this at 40.
CP3.
So, guys' careers are ending.
We need to start talking about the shit that happened.
Where are you coming at?
You know, so where they're at?
What position you got on at?
Point guard or shooting guard.
He's never, he's never.
So there's, it's, it's a very weird, talking about championships.
In game seven, it's not like he's playing bad in game seven.
He just don't shoot the ball in game seven.
So, that means we can't.
That's playing bad, though.
That means we can't deputies.
So what happens is, no, he turns into a pure point guard in game seven.
So he's trying to get the 10 and 12 assists instead of just getting the 40 fucking points.
So we can't depicting.
So that's what ends up happening.
So we need to.
Some reason, his.
brain turns into, I want to be a point guard.
Is it that what is it happened?
Is it that or is it the pressure?
No.
I mean, I'm not buying that point guard shit.
I'm buying the fact that you can't throw all these fucking points and then come at game seven.
You can't, you can't shoot 40 of them.
What's the stats say, Joe?
What was game seven last year?
What was game seven against us?
No, no, no, no, no, what was game seven last year?
He got it.
He got it right here.
Is it just a regular game?
Game seven last year against Denver.
Seven points for our rebounds 13.
13 assists.
13 assists.
They told you.
Seven and 13.
I tell you, he does it every game already looked it up.
But that pass in James Hart, you talk about was in Philly,
averaging 20 and 10.
And then game seven, like when Joel and B didn't show up,
what he had 40%?
Okay, now go to a Houston.
Now go to the other teams that he was going to be the same thing.
Can we just give Dr. Hart?
No, we are, but what I'm saying is,
this is Brandon.
This is Brandon doing this.
No, that's hard.
I mean, anybody that career's ending, we have to talk about it.
We have to talk about it.
Like, just like we're talking about it.
Because we sit up here and talk about LeBron like that.
His Garillion is still doing what he do.
Is he a top-off?
Game seven against that Warriors in 2018, 32, 6-and-6, four steals.
Game seven.
12 for 29 from the field.
That's when they were shooting.
That's when they were shooting.
30, okay.
What was the, before that?
This is what he's going on.
2015 against the Clippers, 31, seven rebounds.
It's when he got the feeling.
After he left Houston, he wasn't the number one option anymore.
Oh, he had a couple game sixes where he didn't show up with Houston,
where they were supposed to show up and he didn't show up.
That's a little trickery.
That's all.
He turns into that point guard mindset.
I'm just saying nobody's safe since we want to talk about bronze.
But is he still top five at his position?
We've got to go on on everybody else now.
No, we don't.
Yes, we do?
Yeah, he always been.
But he's not even not even a shooting guard, though.
They got him as top five shooting guard
And he's going down to the point guard
Because if he goes down to the point guard
That means somebody got to get up out of there
Well, that's
I mean, does that mean
Question is what would make him top five point guard
Because he got the MVP
That's it
But I mean you're into the finals
Because you could put him in shooting guard and point guard
Yeah, he can
I mean he's because if he's
Because if they put him as top five point guard
That means JK got to go
That just means Russ is number one.
No.
Yeah.
MVP.
Right.
Steph has two MVP.
Oh, when you're talking about what you're talking about stats, which is what you're referring to.
Yeah, Westbrook is number one, numero uno.
So what about?
So what about?
So what about magic?
What about?
Out of here, because you're talking about magic.
Magic is number one now.
But rings are a big part of everything, right?
Not when you're just talking about James Hardin and you're talking about top five.
I said he's tough, but he's been to the finals.
He's been to the finals.
He has won an MVP.
He should have been an MVP twice.
I mean, at the point guard position, I mean, he's average 35 and seven.
Yeah.
So you can't be, that's not top.
What do you mean?
What is it?
It's not better than Isaiah Thomas.
He's been the MVP twice.
He's won two championships.
He hasn't been, I mean, he's not MVP, but he's won the finals.
The finals MVP, once.
Finals MVP, two-time champion.
Once.
Top five.
Once.
Top five.
Not over James. No, no, hell, no, no, no, no.
Isaiah Thomas is better.
So the championships don't matter.
Isaiah Thomas a better basketball player than James Hart?
He only played eight years.
Eight years, Nick?
Who?
I'm like that.
I mean, he was a five all-time NBA, which was five.
Who?
Isaiah Thomas.
So was Jason Kidd top five?
Yeah, he was.
I had them top five.
There's too many niggas y'all mention it.
It's too many people.
It's not five.
I'm just saying the top five point guards is fined change.
I mean, you got Russ coming.
You got Steph that's for the end.
James Hardin, since he's going to be going down as a point guard, he has to be in there.
Karee Irvin is not top five?
I didn't realize Isaiah Thomas' last all-N-BA was in the 18th.
He'll get the ideal Thomas treatment.
So Karee, not top five.
So he wasn't in all-N-B-A when he was winning championships.
You got Luca.
You got SGA.
I mean, we don't.
It's magic.
It's magic to get taken, though.
Huh?
It's magic to get taken, I feel like.
Like, it depends on the people, what they won't.
So Russ get a championship, what'd they do?
No, no, no, no, yeah, now, you winning the championship at this point in time, don't like that.
Oh my God.
Because I don't know, because I don't know, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, that's right.
That's not because I don't even have Jake.
No one talked to you like that.
Jay Kid is not in my top five because of Dallas.
No, but nobody says.
nobody says, oh, Jay Kid was a champion
and did all that. It's your Jay Kid.
Yeah, we just, we like, like you. You have to be
that dude when you're winning a championship.
Gary Payton want to ring his last couple of years.
Nobody, Gary Payton, yeah, it don't boost Gary Payton.
Like, they want to ring that ring in their prime.
Like Gary Payton, whatever he did as the glove and all that,
that's where he gets ranked that.
Nobody says, oh, you got the championship in Miami.
Like, nobody just like, eh.
Come on, you got to be, you got to really be number one or two options.
No, that's seriously.
Come on.
That's what I said, when people chase it at the end,
have they not noticed?
No one actually gives you credit for it.
There's people who got championships that you didn't even know they had them.
Because they got one just sitting on somebody bench at the end of their career.
You would give credit to Brian if he won one.
You would do that, though, Swag.
He would be an integral part of that.
That's what I'm saying.
Listen, if he was running right now, average 20-something, he'd fill the second option.
But if he just, if he waits two more years and then he averaging 15, 16, and then he wins two more.
Ain't no, ain't nobody going to give him credit for that.
It'll just be himself.
They're going to say, nigga, got full and a possible two.
It's like a spade.
And a possible two.
There's going to be a possible two.
It's not going to, they're not giving him credit for that, man.
Let's just be honest.
Well, let's give him like Michael Jordan, six to know with six finals.
So unless he winning and the finals MVP, it'd be six rings and four.
No, thank you, sir.
All right.
Let's keep this thing moving.
One last thing to discuss before we shut it down for the rest of the week.
Swaggy and Blueface will be throwing hands in the near future with a fight tentatively scheduled for early 2026.
We'll give you a love, Swaggy.
Showdown nearly four years.
Today.
This mother, hit him.
Hit him with ha.
Hit him with ha.
Showdown.
Showdown is nearly four years in the making with both.
years in the making, both of you originally scheduled to fight back in 2022 as a part of the Battle
of L.A. event, but the California State Athletic Commission pulled the plug due to licensing
issues. Blueface recently released from a California prison after serving time for a probation
violation. And during a recent interview with DJ Vlad...
Hey, my friend. Trying to talk me out?
No. And they're eating prison pizza for those who are familiar with TikTok.
Blueface was recent released in California prison during a recent interview with DJ
I'm glad he offered this assessment of what to expect.
I've said in interviews that I got my money on Nick,
simply because he's a professional athlete.
Right?
He's a former Laker.
He's a hell.
You know, although you were an athlete in high school,
in college, being a Laker is a slightly different, you know?
Yeah.
But did she his last fight?
No, I did not.
Oh, okay.
My one.
Check it out, man.
I don't think being a Laker did anything.
Wait, wait.
There did he fight.
You better thought laughing like that.
Who did Nick Young?
101 down mission.
Okay, Malcolm.
Minnickin?
Minnickin?
Okay, so I didn't watch the fight, but I guess there was an accidental headbutt and it ended up being a no contest?
No.
He got tired.
That face he made just now?
He got tired, gang, and he laid down and basically said, I'm tired.
He jumped out the ring and didn't get back.
Oh, he knows you.
Swaggy, he didn't know you, boy.
He got ties, he got his ass tied, and he was done.
So Swaggy, uh, counting the chips.
Blueface pointed out, we do have a clip of your last fight.
I'm out of him.
I'm just, damn, you don't want no accountability?
Hell no.
Look at the belly.
Wait, you blonde?
No.
Oh, he's a blonde.
Oh, you're a little whore.
Now, you know, it's a little whore out there.
Now, you know what's crazy.
He was whooping the, he was whooping his hat before.
Like, you got the blind.
He was 173 years old in this fight.
Yeah, I was big right there.
You got tities in everything.
I was like, shake.
Look at the tities on that girl.
I was like, damn.
What are you showing this for?
Just the context, right?
I was living in the pack.
But like, you were sticking in, before that,
and then you just got tired.
So, Swaggy, why will this fight with Blueface
be different than your last time in the ring?
Oh, man, that was, I was fat damn.
I was going through the pressure and the shit, you know.
That COVID weight.
Yeah.
Yeah, COVID had a factor of trying to find myself.
But look at me now, I'm skinny and shit, you know, feel good, still in the gym.
Looking better, smelling better.
Yes, sir.
You know?
Did you say smelling belly, brother?
Yeah, so you were smelling bad back then.
Yeah, I wasn't taking showers and shit back in the day.
I was in COVID, full COVID.
Yes, sir.
They said, stay dirty.
You won't get the shit.
So I was.
Talk your shit.
Stay dirty, don't worry.
Yeah.
Stayed dirty, don't work.
All right.
You seen how he came out, man?
He looked like me now.
See how fat he looking shit?
I ain't worried about that, man.
No, no, he did an interview, and he said something that I was like,
he was talking about his tattoos and stuff.
101 Dalmatians and he said,
and he said, I was around gangbangers all day.
You think I got better in life?
You see, I've been around gang bang as long.
You think I got better?
He's going to whoop your ass, okay?
No.
I take care of your kids, all right?
You're going to take care of your kids, all right?
You're going to take care of here?
You're like boys?
You're like boy in school?
You're like boys' school?
All right?
I'm sending them all the boys school.
Hey, this goes, if I'm losing, throw something in the ring.
Listen, I'm going to have a white flag.
I'm a ho- Not the white flag.
Just throw some shit in the crowd.
Just throw some shit in the crowd.
They gotta stop and shit.
Look, no, no, no, no, no.
I already got something that's better.
We're gonna put the, what's the little,
no, I'm like, can we put you on the belt?
I've been training with Jazz Dool.
What's this, what's this soft?
You don't get no parts of this belt.
This is a, the little smelling stuff.
We're gonna put it inside the gloves.
But the thing that, I want everybody
to have a boxing match into my match.
Like, I'm gonna have McCants fight.
I want you to fight.
I want you to fight.
I lost.
No, but we're gonna, it's gonna be like a whole thing.
We only got one belt.
It's only one fight we need to schedule three more fights under us.
When's the fight?
4-3 in March.
March?
Yeah, probably Miami, Vegas are here.
I've been in the gym with Zab, Judah.
Shout out Zab.
You know what?
There's a lot.
He did want to smoke with me.
So let me know.

But the Theo Pinson, nigga, yeah, he can see these hands for sure.
You want to get in there?
Yeah, you line it up with him.
If he say, yeah.
And I fight Ocho.
You say, yeah.
Why you got the cigar like, so who are you going to fight?
Who the fuck you're going to fight?
I know how I'm getting down.
Wait, wait, wait, be, V.
What?
Ocho can't.
Wait, hold it.
You've been in the ring.

Why you sound like an owner?
He's a country club there, man.
You ever seen him in a race, bowling, all that.
I'll be seeing him talking that ball head.
You can lift like 305, BJ.

Two shots and gentlemen are.
I don't know why y'all are.
Why y'all are y'all doing this to you?
Hey, undercard.
Two shots of gentlemen, let's go, baby.
I got two parts, too.
Oh, yeah.
So Cemetery Larry versus Theo Pinson, Mr. B versus Ocho Sinko.
He's not going to take that.
Swaggy versus Blueface Guil.
Why not Raymond F. Elton?
Because it's too little.
He's too little.
He won't.
But he did?
I'll do, I'll do row.
Who is Roe?
We're trying to fuck.
Roe?
No.
Pabbeff, Cohoff.
A Roan.

I got Roan.
I got Rome, Rome.
You say you're white, you're going to be...
I can do white and not athletic.
I'm good.
I can probably get that win.
All right, but Roan has bars for your goal.
Nah, you really be in your boxing back.
I know I'd be boxing, but I don't want to get a hit.
I don't want to get a hit.
I want to win a fight.
You're like...
You're all over there trying to get in fights.
I want to win.
So...
We started the show with challenges.
We ended the show with challenges.
I believe it to myself, but I'd rather not work out and get that win.
You can't really work out
That shit is hard.
My shoulders.
I can fight Nick Jr.
Not right now.
He'll kick you in.
Oh, that's the perfect time.

Happy holidays, everybody out there.
When he starts sitting on, I say, yeah, I'm good.
He'd be kicking me.

Man, man, he'd be kicking me when you don't be looking.
And when kids don't want to go to your house, you know how terrorizes you are?
No, he really don't like him over here.

Only in the game.
He ain't going nowhere.

Pulling me 100 miles away in here.
Don't you like to climb trees?
