Gil's Arena - Victor Wembanyama Just HIJACKED The NBA MVP Race
Episode Date: April 2, 2026Victor Wembanyama Just HIJACKED The NBA MVP Race according to Gil's Arena as the Gil's Arena Crew react to another out of this world performance from Wemby as the San Antonio Spurs superstar dropped b...ack to back 40 point double doubles to continue to make his case as the best player in the NBA this season. They debate if Wemby's hot streak to end the season has done enough to push him ahead of Shai Gilgeous Alexander for the league's highest honor and discuss how far the alien can carry his young & inexperienced team in the NBA Playoffs. Next, they continue their conversation on the Boston Celtics as Jayson Tatum & Jaylen Brown continue to prove the Celtics are a force to be reckoned with heading into the NBA Playoffs and debate if the Jays are clearly the best superstar duo in the league. Finally, they react to the Detroit Pistons keeping their head above water as they play without Cade Cunningham, discussing if the team being without their superstar is actually a good thing heading into the NBA Playoffs before breaking down the league's proposed anti-tanking rules, sparking a debate on if Adam Silver & the league's top brass are making a bigger deal out of tanking than it needs to be. When WestJet first took flight in 1996, the vibes were a bit different.
People thought denim on denim was peak fashion, inline skates were everywhere,
and two out of three women rocked, the Rachel.
While those things stayed in the 90s,
one thing that hasn't is that fuzzy feeling you get when WestJet welcomes you on board.
Here's to WestJetting since 96.

Canyon Martin, back in the arena with us.
What's that?
What's that?
We got a lot to get into.
Here's what's cracking in Gil's Arena today.
Winby continued making his MVP
Case with his second straight 40 point double double.
How far away is the alien from being the best player in the league?
The Jays took their talents to South Beach, delivered a pair of dominant performances.
Do the Celtics have the most dangerous duo in the league right now?
I heard doing a shout-out Jason Tatum looking very good.
Coming back from that Achilles.
And the pissings that have been holding down the top spot in the east without Kaye Cunningham.
But is Detroit still the team to beat?
Jalen Durham been playing very well.
Kate should be coming back for the playoffs.
We'll see what's what.
But before we get into all that, as always,

That is not count.
You've got to find it on the set, not the video of the eggs.
I see one.
See, too.
There's a few on here.
Alright, well let's get into it.
So Wizards have been looking like fools all season with the worst record in the league
headed for their third straight 60 loss season.
Wednesday was no different as the team opted to play a very questionable April Fool's prank
on one unsuspecting fan or so we thought.
So let's take a look at the video if we can't please.
So the Wizards gave the fan a chance to win 10,000 racks if you could hit a blindfolded half-court shot.
As expected, the fan missed badly.
But the team pretended like he made the shot as the mascots on the court celebrated with him.
So the fan was then handed a big $10,000 check and shown a replay of the shot,
which obviously did not go in where he realized he had been the victim of a prank.
It was not actually getting the $10,000.
So according to reports, the fan did end up getting an autographed jersey
and some court side seats for next season.
But it turns out there were some tomfoolery amongst us.
So in response to the backlash, the prank received the Wizards put out the following statement today.
They said, we apologized for last night's April's Fool's joke that left many wondering if we had misled a fan.
The skit involving our mascot and other members of our performance team was scripted and intended to celebrate the day.
All participants were in on the joke, but we missed them mark.
Our fans are our priority, and we continue to be committed to providing a positive experience to all who attend our games.
To what is doing all that.
Have fun.
Look at all.
I don't know how to do shit right.
What can they do the right?
Mascot got his ass whooped.
Wizards have not released a statement
apologizing for letting Ban put up 83
on their head.
But was the Wizards, April Fool's
Prank Fowler, funny, Swaggy,
former wizard here in the building with it?
Hell no.
They better pay fans to go to the games.
Give them what the hell?
You see how empty the whole
first team roles was?
They're playing a joke
and it's five people in the crowd.
That's crazy
All the people
That was at the game was on the court
Who's laughing
Who are you playing the jokes on?
Who are you playing a joke on yourself?
Oh shit
That's how you know you're crazy
When you start playing
April Fool jokes on yourself
Like
Wizard trying to enjoy the day
Obviously been a very tough season
They already are April fools
All year
Got smacked by the Sixers
PG put up what
All year has been April Fool's
I was a wizard
April Fool's prank foul or funny, a lot of backlash on the internet.
A lot of people were not feeling the joke.
And then after they said it was a skit, still not feeling,
and people still don't believe that that fan was not a real fan.
Shit, it's better than the work, not showing up for work.
And then posting a picture with some other niggia that hired her.
So shit, I was more traumatized than that.
That ain't nothing.
reservations and all kind of shit
man I'm gonna say April food
April foods I was all in too
Flowers and shit
God damn man
Yeah that ain't nothing that ain't nothing shit
It's just a blank check
The question marks on it
The last one at least can you
Obviously we know that it's a skid now
But was the Wizards April
Fool's Day prank foul or funny
It's funny
It's a paper food.
This man know he didn't make that shit.
If he was in on it or not,
you know he ain't had a chance of hell
making that shot.
So.
What if he did make it, though?
That's the real question.
I don't want to win my 10K.
I'm gonna fucking just kidding.
You know what I'm talking about?
I've made that bitch now.
Yeah, but no, it's a joke, man.
It is what it is.
People over sensitive these days, man.
Like, people overreact and
They are very sensitive to everything.
Do nothing, say nothing, can't be nowhere, can't go, like, listen, man, this, yeah.
Yeah, now people...
I'm glad I grew up in there I grew up in, but you had to have thick skin, man.
People were not feeling the joke.
A lot of people responded, basically bullied the Wizards into releasing that stage.
Yeah, that's all, yeah, it was like, no.
They lost fans because of it.
They didn't have many to begin with, like, to the old statement, shit, they, yeah.
Did you see that whole, bro?
Three seasons in a row, you don't lost 60 plus games.
Bray ain't nothing to cheer for out there, bitch.
They need some laughs.
They need some good, some good faith.
They need, I'm saying?
No.
So April Foods, it's a joke.
How much them tickets is, see?
Man paid the tickets to go Cedar with it.
$12.
Yeah, $12 to $18?
That's shit.
Yeah.
Come on down, they call them from the 300s.
Yeah, it's an out burger.
I'd rather eat in and out than watch the Wizards for show.
Yeah.
It's a good combo back.
So if you'd rather eat in and out, what if the Wizards are playing the lekers?
Did you watch that game?
60.
It was adorable.
Luca had 60.
He didn't play that game.
I thought he had 60.
That was Miami at 6.
I'm about to say, 83, 60.
Luke was suspended for the game against the Wizards this past week.
He was waiting on that game.
Everybody was waiting on them games.
Get some Wizards, you can get 50 on them.
I'm sure he was mad.
You can't get your numbers on them.
God, damn.
Yeah, you can't be suspended for the Wizards game.
Yeah, that's bad business.
Go for 84.
I'm talking about it.
Bring balance back to the points.
All right, well, good April Fool's discussion.
Let's get on to some actual real basketball.
Spurs were back in action Wednesday on the road against the Warriors
as Wendy continued his campaign for his first MVP with San Antonio looking for their 10th straight win.
Spurs entered the matchup with four straight.
row wins by 25 plus points, which is the longest streak in NBA histories.
The Warriors were short-handed to say the least missing nine rotation players in the game,
including Chef Curry, and the alien took advantage to make Golden State look like some April Fool's as well.
Let's take a look at the highlights, if we can, when we got to work early and often scoring 10 points
in the first four minutes of game action.
He put up 17 points, nine boards in the first quarter alone.
Don't look at this line up.
Man, that's nasty.
They had dudes shooting left-handed.
It was all type of shit going on.
Happened to the witts.
Wrist injuries.
You know, life to the wilet.
For those that prayed on their downfall, your prayers have been answered.
Alien finished the first half with 27 and 13 in just 17 minutes.
Wimby continued to cook the dubs in the second half while making history in the process.
Wimmy put up 41 points, 18 rebounds, and three blocks.
He was six for 22 from the field in 29 minutes.
Wimby is the first player in Spurs history with back-to-back 40-point double-doubles.
Oh, you see it.
After coming through with 41, 16 boards and three blocks against the Bulls on Monday,
San Antonio got their 10th straight win improving to a league best 26 and 2 since February 1st.
And 15 and 0 in the last 15 games that Wimby's played in.
So after the game, Wimby pulled up the Sports Center with Scott Van Pelt.
SVP asked Wimby how important it was to him to be recognized is the best
player in the league, and he offered this response.
I think that all the grades, you know, that are in the Hall of Fame or that are in our
mind the best of all time, they have fought and grabbed everything they could grab
early on in their career, you know.
And if I want to make my spot among the grades, I got to try to not miss any occasion
I have to put my name up there.
Begging again.
The Lionman, Spurs are 15 and 0, last 15 games of Wimby's
played in those 15 games, French Fidon averaging 28 points, 12 rebounds, nearly four blocks,
league leading plus 269, all while playing less than 30 minutes per game.
So Wimby missed out on adding some individual accolades to his resume last year when the season
was prematurely ended by injury.
It talked about how dealing with that injury changed his perspective on life and on his career.
I just heard you say Wimby out here begging again with your thoughts on Wimby continuing
to let it be known that he wants to be the best player.
the league?
I think it's time to start letting this game do the talking, you know, just continue to,
he's doing what he's doing, but at some point, you know, we get it, we get it, you know.
It's time to just get ready for the playoffs, shut up, win, and then that'll do the talking for
you.
But what he's doing is, I'm shocked.
I didn't know Tim Duncan never had a back-to-back 40-point game.
40-point double-double.
Oh, double-double.
Damn.
First player, Spurs history.
First player in Spurs history.
That's dope.
It's the only way to be the best Spurve.
All righty.
Y'all want to give them everything else.
Might as well.
Are you doing?
Yeah.
Okay.
The best spurs ever.
I was good.
Beg for it.
You did well?
We practiced that. You did well. You didn't stutter or nothing.
Keep begging.
He was over there and she said, you gonna do it like this?
No more begging.
Playing against the West Coast Wizards.
I ain't too proud to beg, Nick.
The West Coast Wizard.
You ain't never heard the song, huh?
It was number one in the country for a long time.
I'm tired of begging.
I ain't too proud to beg, no.
Yeah.
I'm proud of Wimby, shit.
It takes a lot to get the ears of the people out there
voting, you know, just like campaigning when you were a president, right?
At some point they have to vote.
You gotta be out there, you gotta be out there in their ears, in their face.
Chucking and jiving.
You gotta be chucking and jiving.
They gotta be, do bitt-d-d-bo-d-d-d-bo-d-d-d-d-d-d-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-
Like mumba, you think he'll do that?
No, he wouldn't do that.
All right, then that's all I'm saying.
Not if he was French.
No, he didn't do that.
That's all I'm saying.
No, he didn't do.
Yeah.
But he, you know, he did what he had to do.
do. He did what he had to do, right? So he's doing what he has to do. And that's what I love
about Wimby. Whatever it takes, let's go get it. Go get those voters, go tell them, hey, listen,
they ain't doing what I do. Go watch the film. Go do what they, go go see what they're doing,
and go see what I'm doing. It's different. I'm the real Santa Claus.
It's one thing to talk about it. Obviously, he's been campaigning, made his case for MVP recently.
He was asked by SVP about this and his desire to be the best player in the world.
But what he's doing right now with the Spurs Squad, the way they're surrogens 26 and 2,
like we mentioned 15 and 0 in the last 15 games he's played.
You said 15 and 0?
In the last 15 games, Wimby's played.
Wimby did duck a Yolkich and they lost to the Nuggets.
Some are reporting.
He did not play in the game.
15 and O?
Got the Yolkish flu.
And lost.
Damn, that's crazy.
26 and two, one of those losses.
Would you say that plus minus was?
269 in the 15th.
15, last 15 games of Wimby's playing.
It's insane, ain't it?
You missed that 16, you know.
It might have, took a dip.
That's all I'm saying.
Woo.
But shift over to this.
I came with your thoughts on Wemby continuing to let it be known that he wants to be the best player in the world.
Yeah, no, if he's asked questions, I expect him to answer with his true feelings.
That question had nothing to do with what the other campaign.
was, yeah, he's talking about being great.
And you have to start somewhere, right?
And for the campaigning, right,
I think it's more on the team.
The team should be doing it.
The team should be the ones, commercials
and different things like that.
Yeah.
So I think that falls on the team.
But since I haven't seen anything,
I think he feels that it's on him to campaign for himself and his game.
His game has been speaking for itself.
He has been playing well all season and as of late.
You know, they're going to be a force to be reckoned with for the foreseeable future.
Young Corps.
So, and he's leading that.
So I'm excited to see where else it goes.
what other accolades that he could put on his shelf
other than defense's player the year
because we know that's going to be a staple for him.
So you got to somebody's going to have to do something amazing
to take that award away from him.
I don't know what that's going to tell.
But people don't seem to have voters fatigue with that though.
Interesting.
But they do with other things.
But it's need there nor there.
But yeah, no, man, he's not.
been doing the ass too. And like I said, I'm excited to see what else is in store for the young
man moving forward. But 22 years old, I think, wise beyond his years, trained with Shalding
monks, work with Akeem, KG, all the stuff he's been doing. Like we mentioned, had that blood clot
last season that cost him a potential defensive player to year last year. I mean, he's good
to see him displaying these leadership qualities at such a young age. Or just, Nick, are you
starting to get tired of it.
Already.
Already.
Tired.
Tired.
He's going to be great.
He's going to be great. I feel like we're trying to get everything to him too early.
And it's a lot of him talking now.
Like, doing all that, I love when he did the workout with Crawford, the monk thing.
I loved all that.
But now I feel like the media is baiting him.
baiting him into answering these
type of questions about like the MVP
race. Because he's young
and already outspoken
he talked about
he going to change the all-star games.
You know.
But this type of stuff
you got a, you know.
Come on, man.
Who your favorite player?
I can't wait for the next
Ant Man commercials. I guarantee
it it would be about him begging.
Is that your favorite player?
Yeah.
He ain't.
He ain't what?
He ain't begging.
He didn't.
No, he ain't back for no.
Do you remember the starting five shit that was on Netflix?
No.
You didn't watch that shit, did you?
Swaggy, do you have a Netflix subscription?
When he went to Obama?
Huh?
When he went where?
When you, like, disrespect to Obama?
No, no, no.
No, no, I'm talking about the Olympics.
You remember the Olympics?
Yeah.
When he told everybody that was at the Olympics what the deal was?
What do you say?
I'm the best player in the world.
That ain't begging.
begging. Oh, it was campaign. It was campaign. I need to grab everything I can to be great.
I'm going to reach for this MVP as hard as I can because if I don't get it, I'm not going to be great.
So guess where aunt is? Where is aunt? Great. He's bottom five?
Bottom five? Yeah, bottom five. You're crazy. Guess what he didn't do? He didn't beg for it.
You think he's bottom? He didn't bet. He's at the bottom five right now. Of the top five, he's
Six, seven, eight, face.
So, I mean, I feel like Aunt did what,
aunt was the one who popped it off.
Talking and speaking for yourself,
he's been the guy since he came into the league,
speaking it into existence.
I'm this guy, I do what I need to do.
Ant Man was that guy.
I think Victor got his confidence
and understanding that I should do more
what Ant's doing.
So you're copycat.
Yeah.
Who's it working for
That's some French shit
Who is it working for
Who is it working for
Who is it working for
I did it better
Can't nobody do it better than me
Are you doing it better?
Nobody
Does it better
It's an L.A. song
Yeah
You don't even be knowing it
Yeah
You can be closer than close
You can be closer than close
You can be closer than close
And you still ain't got nothing on me.
It's still going to be what it is.
You've just, you got to accept it.
A lot of niggas be hating because the niggins do be campaigning, you know what you got to, you know,
the player there's going to holl at the girl.
You're sitting back like, let her choose.
I'm very shocked her choose.
Let her choose.
I'm very sure.
Let her choose.
Let her choose.
And then you go, you know, you go spitting the ear, you know, and then go spitting the ear instead
of letting her choose.
He's going to win.
He got there first.
He told her a bunch of shit.
I'm so shocked.
Got to be one or the other.
You're going to sit back and be the cool,
or you're going to be the one to go go get it?
Wimby don't play by these rules.
French kitchens on French bitches.
What's up?
It means something to him.
Yeah.
He needed.
So, according to betting odds,
SGA still the heavy favorite to win a second straight MVP.
So Underdogs got their season MVP winner prediction market currently going on.
So take a look at Underdog's MVP.
Wimby's recent performances have only slightly closed the gap, but not enough to not make SGA clear favorite.
So SGA currently 77% to get a second straight to repeat.
Wimby at 23.
The Spurs do have two games against the Nuggets the season.
They trail the Thunder by two games for first in the Western Conference.
The Thunder have two games against the Lakers, which could shift the balance.
So that game tonight?
They have a game tonight against the Thunder.
and one more before the season is.
Whammy going to beg after it.
The Lakers win?
The Lakers win.
If Lakers win,
Wemey going to be back in even more.
The Lakers beat the thunder.
But realistically,
what's it going to take
for Wimby to jump SGA
for MVP this season?
Moving to the number one spot.
The number one spot
helped his argument.
Because the media,
the media has the vote.
They move into the number one spot
and Shay still playing the way he's playing.
I don't think it matters.
I do.
Because that's according to Nick,
it's your team.
Team success being number one.
It's all I hear I'm saying,
you're number one, but you're number one.
Number one.
Number one.
All right, let's get to number one.
Two games behind.
And let's have that motherfucking conversation.
Two games behind.
First have two games against the Nuggets left on their schedule.
I'm just making sure.
Clear it up.
Because you did, you've been saying number one.
And I've been agreeing with you.
Like, all right, you know what?
We're number two.
It's going to be tough.
Okay, we get that number one spot.
It's a different conversation.
First two games left against the Nuggets,
we will see if Wimby embraces the challenge
or playing Joker or tried to duck those again.
He got two games against Nuggets?
Two games left.
He's going to play one-on.
Thunder have two games against the Lakers left on their stage.
He ain't going to be M-EV.
He's going to play one-off.
Okay, let's say he outplay Joker.
He's not.
He's not.
He can outplay 12.
Let's see what he had last game.
We don't care about the Jazz.
15, 17, 17, and 12.
He can outplay that.
Who can out-play what?
Wimby can outplay that.
No, he can't.
Yes, he can't.
15, 17 and 12?
It's not nothing.
Your man care about that stuff.
What you mean?
It's against the jazz.
Shouldn't it be 50, 17 and 12?
No, because he doesn't care.
No.
He's not.
He doesn't care about winning.
It's not.
Who care about winning?
Who care about winning?
Who care about winning?
Why would he want to go out there and?
Why they ain't winning?
Why they ain't.
That's the jazz.
That's the jazz.
So he ain't got to score big against the jazz.
Oh, okay.
He ain't got to score big.
All right.
They needed him to he would.
They needed them to.
They would.
Yes, that's the beauty of them.
What do he do?
He's averaging 28 on the years, so obviously he's doing something.
He averaging more than your guy.
Hey, what do he do?
He averaging more than your guy.
But he's still behind my guy.
So it don't matter what you average it.
You still four.
You're still four.
Yeah, fucking round.
You're still four.
So with his 12 or six last night, Yokic, locked up his second straight season,
averaging triple double.
Only him and Russell Westbrook have done that at NBA history first center to do that.
in NBA history.
Very high efficiency.
They got this new win.
Best ever.
Best ever.
I'm going to campaigning for yokey.
The best ever.
Ever what?
Efficiency,
efficiency best ever.
And they got win.
In the history of the game,
the best ever.
That's what kills me.
Two straight triple doubles
and the world is looking like, so what?
Yeah, that's great.
He's not even on that 20, 77.
Right.
That's crazy.
That's crazy, right?
Like, this is disrespectful.
as it comes.
Like disrespectful as it comes.
All the way.
And I don't like it, Kane,
because I feel like they're trying to piss him off.
You know, the man's shooting
57 from the field,
82, 83 from the line,
fucking 39 from 3.
Leading the league in assists,
rebounds,
averaging 28 in night.
Huh?
Over a steel, a block of game.
That's too easy.
shot not impressed by what yoke has been doing this i've seen it i've seen it no you haven't
you haven't playing in the league you ain't seen the do with the numbers of that
all the numbers i just named you ain't seen it i don't care about them just i've seen the numbers
no no you know you haven't triple double four years in a row this man led the league as a
point guard right this end rebound six three in a half more impressive westwood more impressed
doing it as a point guard of yok is more impressive doing it as a sense after the first one he
wasn't an MVP now i'm just saying you six three and a half you can do this I'll expect his name
the nigger the 7-3 to do it.
You can go down.
You can do it, do it.
Sound good.
Then the whole offense around you and all that type of shit.
It's like, yeah, it's cool.
God-down.
Sound good.
You ain't going to diminish what this man I are doing.
They're the most.
They're going to miss.
They're going to give him the same treatment rust guy.
This man is the most efficient.
I didn't, I didn't let people do it to rust, and I didn't let people do it to him.
Well, well.
I didn't let people do it to rust and I ain't going to let people do it to
We're doing it today.
No, you're not.
I ain't going for it.
We're doing it today.
I ain't going for it.
You can preach that shit to other people.
Watch out.
You can preach that shit to other people.
Stay where you at.
Where you at?
Four?
Yeah.
Sound good.
What about?
Don't know what the fuck they talk for.
Watch out, my nigga.
This man, it has the most efficient season in NBA history.
Ain't nobody watching shit out.
Ain't nobody doing what he doing it.
Ain't nobody doing it.
He did.
He did.
He did.
Average of triple double.
What did?
Yeah, he got three of them.
We got.
How many of you got?
second place. How many yo-gai guy got?
He won the motherfucking Kentucky Derby?
What was it? The Kentucky Derby?
How many of your guy?
Guy.
Get him.
Get it up.
Get it up.
How many of your guy?
Yeah, man.
We ain't here, man.
How many of your guy got?
We ain't here, man.
How many of your guy got?
Oh, you, I forgot, you like finishing second.
What did he say, Nick the other day?
He's the second most ever, yeah, whatever that shit was about.
Second most greatest.
So you like being second.
So, yeah, so cool.
Yo guy was second last shit.
Dude, my guy got three MVP's.
Well, he was second last shit.
second last year. Yo ain't guy ain't got nothing.
He's about to have one this shit. No, he won't. Yeah, for sure.
He ain't going to have you. He's going to be in front of your guy.
He's going to be in front of your guy. So that's all that matter.
Yeah. That's all it matters. Yeah. You got a second.
That's a loser. Lusers mentality. That's a loser. Leverick.
The loser is like coming to. Yeah, he begged for him.
Yeah, he begged for him. When? Did he beg for him? He didn't have to.
He don't have to. He got three of them.
Three. It should have. Listen, yo, should be five straight.
Yo, should be five straight.
Oh, this. Should be five straight. Oh, this Joker.
Nick.
40?
Nick.
Forty two.
Nick, five straight.
He's 31 and Wimby's 22.
Should be five straight.
Come on, man.
We ain't having this conversation.
Should be five.
Yeah, we're not because your guy don't have any.
He won't have one.
22.
No.
22 years old?
And?
He will have one.
He will have one.
He will have five by 30.
He will have five by 30.
He will have five by 30.
He will have five by 29.
No, he won't.
He'll have five by 29.
No, he won't.
No.
No, he won't.
You're just dope a dog fool.
Yeah, both of them.
Both of them.
Both of them, Nick.
Huh?
Hey, 22?
Hey, he's about to sneak.
He's about the clean sweep.
He's about the clean sweep.
MVP, defensive player of the year.
Nick, he might get most improved.
Defensive player of the year.
He might get most improved.
How can he get most improved when he put up the same,
basically the same numbers of issues that he did last?
A couple bit.
It's a couple.
It's a couple.
It's a little bit more.
That's what you call delusional.
That's a little bit.
He improved the amount.
the games he played. That is what you called.
That's the only thing he did more.
It wasn't for anything.
It's the only thing he did better was play games.
Myroup call he got that. That's why. He wants to be like Yonna.
Ask you a question. Yeah.
Yonnas got more.
Where is Winby in the MVP race right now?
Not winning.
MVP ladder has won me first, but the betting odds, bed and odds or what?
I asked the specific question.
I didn't ask about no bedties.
But I said, where is winning the race?
Number one.
Today, okay, cool.
Number one.
Who cares?
Last week, this week, next week, every week.
It's going to be a weekend, week out.
What?
When beyond it is a takeover.
What?
You know what it's called?
Defensively, yeah.
It's an alien invasion.
Okay, sounds good.
It's an alien invasion.
Huh?
Did you see it on prime?
NBA, NBA Prime.
They did a whole alien invasion thing.
Watch for a quiet dude.
Hey, Nick, Annie Duck.
smoke.
Watch what Kauai do to him.
Kauai.
Nick,
ain't he ducked that smoke
by the week ago.
Kauai?
Yeah.
Why ain't play that guy?
Why ain't play that guy?
He ain't going to play that guy.
He don't put on no deodorant.
That's why.
I'm saying, why isn't,
play Nogahola?
Put some deodorant on.
Put some deodorant on.
Yeah, he ain't going to be, though.
We're cool.
He got Kauai, then the Joker.
What's y'all, man.
Yeah, his days are done.
Smoking a cigarette in the back.
Well, let's talk about.
Well, let's talk about where we're going to.
And in MVP's all of it go together right now.
Going up there with.
Do whatever he wants to, right?
Me and proxious here.
Do whatever you want to.
He got three MVP.
Three MVP.
Move around.
No, you can't.
And nobody moving around.
It's my time now.
It's my time.
Why you ducking him?
Why you put Westbrook's number one point guard?
My time.
Why you ducking him?
You put Westbrook as their number one point guard.
Why you duck him then?
My time?
Four triple doubles.
Hey, hey, it's my time.
Why do you ducking?
You put Joker at.
Right now?
You put Russ number one.
Right now?
As far as centers?
Yeah.
What did you put joker?
Hey, Mr. Mottai, why you ducking last time y'all played?
There was ducking going on.
Yeah, there was definitely ducking going on.
What would you put joker right now as all time centers?
He had to be number one, statistically.
Yeah.
Yolke's statistic number one?
Yeah, he had to be.
Okay.
Number one of all time.
Hands down.
Statistically, there ain't no dude.
That's not even that's a thing.
This boy is fucking delusion.
That's not a bad.
Yo, something is wrong with him.
Larry Berg, God.
No.
You just asked me a question.
I gave him an answer.
You gave me an answer.
You said five, man, right?
It was my answer.
Yeah, I said, just a five, right?
Center.
Okay.
So what was delusional about my answer?
Because there's a guy that he ain't did, I'm saying, there's a guy named, started out at Lou Alcender and changed his name to Kareem Abduh, Jabar.
That's better than Joker, statistically.
I only got more points and all that.
Five MVP's.
Five MVP?
Five championships.
Boy, we're not for the next topic, dog.
Let's get back to the same.
Tony O Spurs.
Please.
As a team.
Wait a minute.
So you just ask me the question to say that Joker's not number one?
I'm just asking where you have him when you say you got a number one.
You said, where do I have him in comparison to Russell Westbrook being number one?
I said, Russ is statistically the number one best point guard of all time.
You said five centers.
You asked me where do I have Joker at centers all time.
Yeah.
And I said statistically he's number one.
So, but where do you have him there?
I just said.
So you got him number one, or are you saying to you just hear what I just said?
Statistically, I have him number one.
Okay, so.
So what's delusional about it?
I know, he always do that all that.
Next topic.
What's delusional about it?
Well, what are the Spurs, right?
Back to the Spurs.
Yes.
So we talked about Wimby as an individual.
Now let's talk about the Spurs.
Is it too straightforward?
So much has been made about the Spurs being a young team with the bulk of their roster
lacking any playoff experience.
So Scott Van Pelt asked Wemby about it,
and he stood firm in his belief in himself and his team.
Yeah, we don't have experience, right?
Screw it.
I mean, that's all we got.
We're not going to play any different ways because it is this way.
I mean, we're still going to play 100% and go to try to win this championship.
Screw it.
So we've seen Wimby in the regular season, 29 minutes per game.
We talked, Ken, yourself, about, now they up those minutes per game
in the postseason.
So a question for you, K.
Mark, how much of a disadvantage
is the Spurs' lack of experience in the playoffs
and how much is having Wemby
neutralized that disadvantage?
They play the same way every night, man.
I don't think it deviates.
So I don't think the experience
is that much of a disadvantage
for them.
Because they've learned how to win
during the regular season, right?
We all know winning
and losing is a learned behavior.
I would consider the Spurs a good team.
Good teams find a way to win.
The deeper series goals, you get better in it.
Just after the first round goes six, seven game,
then that's going to be beneficial to them.
Or coming out and getting whoever you plan,
whether you get the top spot or you,
in the second you're playing seven or let's get you come out there
and get them out of the way, I'm saying,
sweep them,
that experience helps as well, right?
So I don't,
and this NBA,
I don't look at it as a detriment
because a lot of young guys
still in this league
that they're going to be playing against as well.
I think the team with the most experience
is a,
is part of the,
with Bron and the Lakers.
They've been not going to play them
with Luca and Nicole have been around,
Jamal Murray, been around.
Just either been in the second round,
potentially, but lots of the left.
Yeah, but getting there is we'll send them in the
second round is helpful, right? Because you got out the first
round, it depends on how it looked in the first round.
Yeah, no, I'm excited to see how
they look in the playoffs.
They have been dominated defensively
because of Wimby.
We all know his minutes will go
up. So yeah, they're going to be
better defensive in the playoffs, so
good luck. Good luck.
That's why I can let's shift over to you.
Obviously, you've not been a big
advocate for the Spurs. You think the Clippers
if they're able to secure that seven feet
in the plan. You're going to see the night.
You will see the
Tonight.
First Clippers do me tonight at the end of it, Don.
You will see tonight what I'm talking about.
Winby just right now, he's showing, like, the more he talk out, I'm not liking it.
The screw it, like, he said, screw it, like, I'm not liking this.
I was becoming a big fan, and the more he's talking is just like, screw it, like, you're gonna try, screw it.
You can't say stuff like that, man.
You should want them to say.
And just go back to the, you know.
I don't know.
We're just talking too much right now.
It's like, like, fuck, shut up.
The Spurge are doing well.
Right now it's giving me, it's giving me, it's giving me,
you sound like a dude off-villy.
You sound like that shit.
I don't like that shit.
I don't like that shit.
We're good in the West vibe.
It's giving me that type of vibe.
You didn't like that either?
You see what happened.
I'm asked, did you like it?
You see what happened.
That's what it's giving me.
You didn't say that, though.
You didn't say that when John was.
popping off, he knew he would pop off on your ass.
You wasn't saying I ain't like that shit.
You ain't saying none of that shit.
He wasn't saying none of that.
His daddy showed up.
You was all nice and shit.
I wasn't him.
Yeah, he was.
Yeah, you was.
Yeah, you was.
All I'm saying, as you get close to the playoff,
it's time to lock in, all that other stuff.
Shit, they kick an ass.
They're 26 and 2, so I said February 1st.
He's talking too much.
Like, people, that shit.
Be good in the West and have a big.
effect? They not them.
They ain't them.
And he's not him.
It's young.
And he's not.
But they play, they're good.
No, because they don't know, listen, that's a good thing.
They don't know no better, right?
When you don't know no better and you.
Listen, they didn't know.
They've been young all season, right?
Name one young team like that that really done something though.
Oklahoma City.
They lost first round that year.
They was first played.
Went to the finals.
They lost first round, though, to Luca.
Didn't they?
They played Luca for...
Oklahoma City Thunder, not to...
Oh, yeah, the young boys.
They was, yeah, that's the last team.
It was young.
They didn't give a fuck.
They just went out there.
It was like, fuck it.
We here might as well try to win it.
So the current Thunder, two seasons ago, lost conference semis to the math to Lucas' crew.
That's the game.
That's what you're talking about.
Then the next season, they won it.
Won a championship.
Yeah, so it's a learned behavior.
Oh, it's second round, my bad.
It was second round, right?
Second run.
It's a learned behavior, man.
I think they'd be right, man.
Luke would be...
Ain't man, I forgot.
Okay.
Because they ain't built on hype.
Yeah.
Right, the Spurs ain't built on hype.
It's not hype right now?
No, they're going out kicking ass taking an aim.
You mean hype.
Do you see the record?
He's 15 and O in his last 15 games.
Like I said we're going to see tonight.
Yeah, I don't...
I was wrong when they say...
But tonight, you mean in between the Lakers and the Thunder?
No, but...
the clippers and the spurs.
A lot of activity in the streets of Los Angeles tonight.
They're gonna smack the clippers.
You gonna put something on it?
You gonna put something on it?
You gonna put something on it?
You gonna have 40.
Whimby gonna have 40?
I put, what you wanna put on that?
He had 40 on him.
On Brooke Lopez?
They traded their best big.
Zubach was the only chance they had.
Zubach did solid against Wimbyme.
And you can't expect Brooke to do anything with him.
Claus gonna go ahead.
Who?
Like he did in the All-Star game.
Who?
The claw.
He's going to guard Castle with one of them other things.
Yeah, he got his hands full on the perimeter.
For sure.
Can't guard both of them.
All three of them.
Can't guard Castle, Fox and Wimby.
Who's looking better right now?
Who's looking better right now?
What you mean?
Then what?
The Spurred.
The Kauai or Wimby?
Who's looking better right now?
Let's be a little...
Who's looking better right now?
Who's number two?
Who's number one in the MVP votes?
Ah, there you go again.
Quire has been playing very well, we'll say.
How much he averaged?
This season?
Yeah.
Quire's average.
27?
28, I think.
It's closer to 20.
286, 4 assists, 50% from the field.
Yeah, 29.
Rounded up.
Your man, average, what, 24?
50, 38, 90 shootings.
Oh, 25.
It went up yesterday because he had 40.
Yeah, 40.
He had.
I would say that and been available.
Yes.
60 games this season.
Spurred's fighting for that top spot.
They're going to come out and play hard, bro.
They're trying to catch in.
They're trying to get 60 wins.
I don't even think it's about the top spot.
I think they're trying to get a 60 wins.
I think it's both.
Clippers are not.
Both are feasible.
Both are feasible.
And I think that they're trying to go do it.
Like what?
First round.
Where clip was that eight?
They're eight currently.
But they could they could beat the son.
They could beat the son.
No, I'm saying they could beat the son.
The Sun's in front.
Oh, they see them in the plan currently.
And I'm pretty sure they would do that.
But Clippers lost to the Blazers Tuesday.
Blazers currently ninth.
The Clippers lost to the who?
The Portland Trail Blazers, the half game behind the Clippers right now for the eighth
spot.
Oh, so they're all in the same boat?
It's a lot of...
The Portland Trailblazers.
So they're in ninth, so...
Clippers in eight, seven, eight, nine, all of the same?
I'll feel some type of way of...
I'm a coach.
We lose the fucking Clippers after they lost the Trailblazers.
Damn, well, you gonna feel some second way?
Nah, not today.
Spurs, second night backtrack.
Spurs do defeat the Clippers.
Spurs are gonna lose two games in a row.
They play Demmer after two.
It's a back-to-back.
Remember Wimby was giving it all to the West Coast Wizards last night.
Went out there, dropped 40 last night.
Now you gotta come out here and play in LA.
It'll be 3 40 balls in a row.
So Spurs have the Clippers tonight, Thursday,
and then they play the Nuggets on Saturday.
Work is different from here in San Antonio.
Yeah, it's a lot different.
That make you work harder.
You got to put your hard hat on.
Freshly his leg, not fresh now.
No, he ain't fucking.
He already played half the minutes.
He played it.
That's what I'm saying.
He got his work done in the first half.
He didn't even have to play 27 and 13.
Do he play back to back like that?
Didn't he have 27 and 13?
27 to 13.
27 to 13.
And he kept going to get 41 because, and it.
Okay.
Because I ain't too proud to beg.
Yeah, come camping.
You say you hate about Shay, you lead a player,
NYX still up 20 and shit.
Look, I mean, it did have the feel of that looking at that.
Thank you.
It did not because they kept cutting the lead down.
No, stop.
I was watching the game.
The Warriors that nigger shouldn't left-handed because they're wrestling.
They kept cutting into the lead.
That's why he kept coming back in the game.
It was like 12, 13.
Then they would go up to like 18.
and then they would come back down.
So they kept with...
Wimby stayed on the bike.
He was on the bike.
Like, do I need to go back in?
Do I need to come back in?
That's your point, right?
So Spurs have six games left.
Wimby's at 61 games right now,
so you need to play four of those six games.
Oh, you got to be eligible.
They do have two games against him.
I'm about to be first all team.
That's crazy.
They're going to be able to win.
He's going to duck one of those Joker games.
First games, Joker going to give them with 50 and 20 and 13.
the second game he ain't going to win no smoke,
but he just.
If I remember correctly,
I think Joelle NB,
Duked Joker and then won the MVP.
Well, I mean, he hasn't played in Denver in,
I think seven, eight seasons.
I think it might be wise for him.
If that's how you get it,
duck that nigga to get it.
He can't.
If that's what got to,
he got to.
If that's what got the other guy to shit.
How many games we got left?
Shit.
The first of six games left,
Wimby's a 61 game.
Oh, yeah.
Played this year,
so he needs four more to be eligible for postseason awards.
All right, let's talk one more Wemby, but more a general situation going to league.
So a lot of talk about the lack of defense in the NBA nowadays before it was worth the NBA,
the current defensive player, the year frontrunner.
Disagree.
So after the Spurs went over the bucks this weekend, Wemby was asked with something that people don't understand about playing defense in the NBA.
This is a different way.
We're having a whole segment of what he's saying.
Yes.
What the fuck going on?
Put your seat belt on.
Seat belt.
What the fuck?
Are you good?
It Spurs Thursday.
Listen to you saying, are we there yet for 30 straight minutes?
Are we there yet?
Little Nick, sit your ass down and get your little Capri's son and be good.
It's Spurs Day.
Are we there yet?
I ain't never heard of talking about the Spurs this much.
You heard us talk about the Lakers for three straight years.
Lakers much more intriguing and intriguing as a team.
Fuck, bro.
Who's talking about Luca, Luca, Luca, Luca, Luca, Luke.
Here's what Wimby had to say about the state of defense in the NBA.
I guess before I got here
it's a lot of
talk
when before I was in the NBA
like you know when you're in the NBA
about like nobody
defense anymore or
like there's no defense in the NBA
I heard that a lot before coming here but
it's just not true
like
players are just that good
so it's and I was surprised by
the dedication of like the whole staff when I got here because and I've heard that from other
franchises.
Frenchises that win, Frenchises that didn't win and we weren't winning a lot at the time.
And it's the same.
I mean, people are dedicated and people actually do guard in the NBA and do lots of scouting
defense scouting reports.
Man, I mean, thought the U.S. was some shit.
I thought it was sweetheart.
Can we hear
there's been, like I said,
a lot of talk nowadays
saying there's no defense in the NBA.
You hear what you say that.
You hear what they think about us
and that's what she...
Putting a scouting report together
and guys playing defense
are two totally separate things.
I can put a scouting report together
and guys still are bad defenders.
Right?
Because the way that it's
has this no defensive thing
has taken off like wildfire, I could see where he was coming from.
And to get here and see that there's a difference that, you know, guys, some guys do defend.
Some guys are better than advertised.
Some teams are better than advertised.
Yes.
But it's the pace of the game.
It's the three ball.
It's the amount of points that's being scored.
It's the amount of 20, high 20 and low 30 points scores there are each year in the NBA that makes
people say there's no defense.
There are the superstars in this league that are being glorified that don't play defense.
That's loud.
And word travels, right?
But to be in a locker room and to have someone put together a scouting report for the next opponent,
especially you've got a good organization and a good staff that you are over-prepared for what the team is going to be.
to do defensively, right?
I think that of the San Antonio Spurs
is because the winning that they've had
throughout history with Pop and the guys,
Tim and those guys,
they knew what it was to go out and scout
and put together game plans
in order to be successful.
I think that's transferred over
to them, and that's what he's seen.
So, yeah, no, it could definitely be a delusion
if you're from afar that these guys don't defend or teams are not prepared.
It could definitely be a delusion.
But, yeah, no, I'm glad he's speaking up on it.
Because of the narrative out there that he's the only one that plays defense, right?
No, the team is prepared.
I think that when you really do look at that, I mean, this is what I love about the game
is because you do have the energy, the effort, the scouting report, the attention to detail,
the sense of urgency, all of these things play a part when you got a good coaching staff
and a good organization that actually takes pride in being prepared for the game.
So when you do have organizations that take pride, but the players just don't buy in,
then you go out there and you're like, man, they're not executing the game plan.
we got how we play defense on the side pick and roll how we're going to play it tonight on the top
how we're going to play the cross screens at the bottom how we're going to do all this tagging and
2-9 and all of these different things are part of the terminology in the NBA so when you got teams
that don't buy into that you see bad defense right but then you know that the coach is like
JJ JJ jay knows the terminology he knows how to put guys in position but if those guys
ain't executed and he looked bad.
So when you look at an organization
like Ms. Johnson, he's coming back from
having a successful
tier of Coach Popovich having a system
of this is how we've done it, this is how
we prepared, this is how we were successful,
this is what you need.
When you take that and you go
with it, the players come in knowing that this is
the formula, so you don't go against the formula.
You're not going to have players, we're like,
we should do this, so we should do that.
So Wembe coming in and seeing it, it's like,
this is dope.
Everybody actually does play defense.
Then you go to other places
that are scouting for you,
and you're seeing that your opportunities are limited
based on how they've scouted you.
They're taking this away from me.
They're taking this away from me.
Damn, they actually play out.
You're playing pretty good defense tonight.
But then you got your other teams, like the Wizards.
You know, I don't think they played good in that BAM 83.
I don't think they had a scout report prepared, right?
Or they might have, but they just didn't execute it.
I'm saying?
So I think Wemby's definitely spot on with there is a system.
And I think the coaches, if the coaches don't reiterate that system
and the players don't execute that system,
you will look like a trash-ass team.
But then you got the teams that go out there and they execute,
you know, reminences of Mike Malone.
He had a system.
He was executing defensive principles
where you didn't need no anchor defensively
to actually provide a defensive type of team.
You got guys in position to do certain things and you do them, we'll get stops.
And I think that's, that goes a long way with good coaching.
It goes a long way with players who buy into the system.
And I think Wambi's one of those players.
That's an example of buying into it.
So is the defense bad or is the offense just that good?
I think the offense.
Offensively seems like the league has evolved tremendously.
Yeah, it's just that good for me.
I think over the years, each generation, people were still scoring 30s and 40s and had 81.
So it's hard to say one generation is better than the next at defense.
I think everything gets better, and you still going to have them ass teams.
Even back when y'all was playing, when I was playing, you had ass teams.
Wizards always been one of them ass teams.
You've got the Charlotte Hornies that always been, I mean the Bobcats and shit like that.
You're always going to have them bad teams.
And you're going to have them teams that know what they're doing for real.
I mean organizations.
Like coming when I once I left the Wizards in LA, coming to the Lakers and all that,
seeing how they prepare, how just a different feel.
You get the environment, you eat different.
They give you all this.
What was the difference between Wizards, Lakers, and Warriors?
Wizards, well, first off, they never, they didn't feed us.
They didn't, they didn't, breakfast, no dinner, no, nothing like that.
On your own.
On your own.
Shit, the Nuggets was like that forever.
No, no training table, no nothing.
No, not to we, shit, boy.
Yeah, so.
We traded for, after we trade the Mello?
They traded Mello?
Now we, after they traded Mello,
Al Harrington came,
I was like, we got rid of that dump
shoot around one day.
I always said, I asked what the food was.
Shit, shit, we're gone with Mello.
Niggas was like, shit, where the fool is at?
Lidget, like, what food?
You're on your own.
I said, my food in my room waiting on me.
I got the person called in my food.
What was the difference in L.A.?
With, I mean, the Warriors in L.A.
and I would say the clippers
was kind of like that
they fed us
before after practice
it was just different
than everything
scouts
training
the weight room
everything was just different
okay okay so
the organization with Philly
L.A.
All right so would you think y'all was tanking
or was y'all just bad?
We were just bad
okay so that L.A. team
and then compared to the Warriors
You go into that situation.
What was the scout difference?
No, better players.
But coaching was similar.
But Dan Tony, you know, practices 40 minutes.
You start off going over to scout the plays
and then get what you need.
And Steve Kerr was similar to that.
Sometimes he just...
They were with the same shit.
They were part of the finesse.
Yeah.
So they was like on the same.
stuff and, you know, the scout 9 a.m. on game days and shooting rounds and all that.
But they had like, you have to check the box when you do your weights. You got to make sure
you get your weight room in, you got to make sure you get your shots up and all that. So, that
type of stuff I like, they held you accountable. Like, if they was going to be that light on you,
they made sure that you got your work in, for sure. And it's days, they told you, you
Don't come in the gym.
Stuff like that.
Like Byron Scott, back-to-back, lose.
He's running 17s and Indian runs.
Like, what the fuck the ethic?
Was this, in the end of the season.
And towards this month, March.
Was this scout different, though?
Like I think for the fans, we don't really dig deep into the scout.
Philly, they practiced for Silly.
Like I said, was in like a 24-hour.
Yeah, I remember.
Yeah, we used to throw it over there, yeah, I remember.
People coming in just watching you
Blocking them next to the new
strangers and shit, like
Who could focus like that?
It's in the hood now.
It's like, Trit and some shit like that now.
It's like...
Fine City came.
Very well much can be, but they...
There's shit.
Ain't no breakfast there, no nothing.
You come in.
I guess we got...
It's all different, man.
Preparation standpoint.
It's all different, man.
All these teams are different, right?
How was yours as far as?
as from New Jersey, y'all go to two finals,
Scouting.
Lawrence Frank.
Lawrence Frank, different, right?
Was he more attention to detail than George was?
Everybody.
Ain't too many people on this planet.
More attention, detail-oriented than Lawrence Frank when they come to the scouting report
and being prepared, bro.
We're here right now with the Clippers?
In the front office with the Clippers.
No, before, he didn't, like, dude didn't sleep, bro.
We're coming there, joint the next morning.
Man, the playoffs here is game and all that.
He's been chewing on the pen.
He got blue ink all over his mouth and shit.
Ain't been to sleep eyes, bloodshot red.
Like he'd been, but we was prepared.
Right.
Like, they wasn't a set that nobody ran them.
That's during that stretch that we didn't know wasn't prepared for.
And that's all you need with somebody like,
you got me and J. Kid out there, bro.
Yeah, and everybody locked in on what's that.
And you got this mad genius over here?
Also, do you think it's more about like the players too
getting along and liking each other?
I don't think that's a plea.
I don't think that's a do.
You ain't got to like each other.
Well, I don't think it's about liking.
But more like respecting your savvy.
I know he knows he's talking about.
He ain't got to like you, but he's right.
I know he right.
When it's time to go win, even if he's right, man.
Yeah, when it's time to go for Pete and win,
all that shit go out the window.
Yeah, yeah.
Because when he calls screen,
I got to be,
You scream right screen left.
You better.
It ain't like, you scream.
Oh, we got an issue.
You want to prove you wrong doing the thing.
Right, right.
Don't do the screen.
Oh, we got a whole issue.
Yeah, that's the real issue.
We got a whole issue.
Well, motherfucker don't call the screen.
I get hit with the screen.
You know what I'm saying?
The situation we had with on.
Yeah.
Like that.
I call the screen, you want to do what you want to do.
And then come try to tell me my job on the bed.
That's why I turn people lose.
That don't work, dog.
And I'm going to lose it.
And you, you, you, you're going to lose it.
And you.
being an anchor of the defense, you talk about Scotland report.
But you want to prove him wrong.
Right.
But he has, like, as a vet, you're looking at what the coach is saying in the scotter
report, right?
Kenyon has the seniority to go out on the floor and change somewhat of what the
scotland report is based on what he said.
Oh, how are we playing to play?
Yeah.
So he could see some shit.
He could be like, all right, this is what they've been doing the last two times.
I know we're downing it.
But let's jump this.
We're going to jump this motherfucker this one time.
Right. But what you're saying is you got to have...
No, I'm right.
Right.
Compared to him.
But Draymond would do it and stuff for listening.
Right.
And that's what I'm saying.
We would have to be on the accord.
We ain't got to like each other, but I'm listening to Kenyon say, hey, we're about to jump this motherfucker right here.
And we're going to go to the bench together.
The coach's going to be like, what y'all jumped that for?
He was like, Kenyon going to be like, nah, I've seen something.
It's a real, real life situation.
We're playing the Lakers, though.
Playing Kobe and he's doing his one thing.
He's playing one-on-one.
And it's...
In the time, he's...
out, we break, before we step on, I'll bring everybody in.
Like, hey, come here, hey, when he touch it, I'm going to run at him so y'all get ready
to rotate.
Pre-rotate, right?
Right.
I ain't told the coach and staff this, nothing.
He ain't made no adjustments in the time out.
I'm like, we get sick of this.
We get sick of it.
We got to do some.
I got five straight jumpers, digger.
Now he gets the ball, I'm going to run out.
The Wizards don't do that.
I don't feel like.
And I think that's what he's talking about as far as everybody being.
good enough, but then there's the great
teams that do this, that got
a guy. And I don't think the league
has guys like that. Like DeAndre
Jordan, I think, would do some shit like that
go out there and tell you, we're going to do this
like this now. There'll be things like I did
on the, like, so we went a lot of, there was a lot of
cross picks and stuff when we came
in, right? I tried to make
y'all job easy
as I could, right? You don't
have to worry about me and my man.
Yeah. Right? Because, you know, it's that
that old sin, bump,
I need you got to like, no.
I'm sticking to my man.
Don't worry about me, right?
I mean, you said,
worry about your man, right?
Last play, when we came back from Memphis
when you had to go out of Rudy.
Rudy, listen.
Don't worry, but I don't help.
I got to knock.
We just, because the way I go across screens, right,
the way I go across screens, so you don't have to bump.
So you don't have to worry about the bump.
You can stare at your man and trail them out
because the play normally, it's going to be a cross screen to a double screen.
Yep.
I don't want you to have to be late.
Right.
So you just stick to your man.
You avoid to get screen.
I turn my back to the screen.
Yep.
Right.
Whatever way he go high, I go high with him.
He go low, I go low with him.
Out him over.
Right?
So I eliminate that.
Yeah.
There was scouting, everybody had the way they guard the screens and all that,
and I had my way.
This is real shit.
And the scouting put them seven years in Denver, right?
Ney, Marcos,
Reggie, Eddie, all the beings we had,
they guarded the traditional way of guarding the...
Meet them on the other side.
Not me.
Throwing it over the top.
Yeah, they do all that.
You get detached.
They throw it over the top.
They hit you with a good screen.
He popped to the air.
Like, we ain't doing none of that.
I'm eliminating all of that so you can stay.
And that's the progression of the defense, right?
When you got guys like that mixed with good scout.
Man.
Oh, man.
It's tough as an offensive player?
Yeah.
It's very tough because you see the shit that he out there doing,
especially if you're talking.
If you're talking on defense, the offense of the guy is so frustrating because I'm not looking at the guy in front of me.
I'm looking at the anchor and who the fuck I got to see when I get past this dude.
So if I'm in my offense and I see him and I'm like, I ain't thinking of him, but I see this nigga, Kenyon 2-9 and across the side.
Then I see somebody at the nail over here and then they're talking and they're moving.
It's like, oh, yeah, I got to sue before he get here.
I got to figure out.
And then it's say pick and row.
Say we're in the side picking row and he in it.
it was like him
KG, Varegiao, certain
guys that will jump
out there and steal the ball from you
and it's like you got to protect those shit
with them. He might blitz you
he very rarely is going to be
sitting back in the motherfucking drop
because that wasn't
yeah unless you couldn't shoot
these niggins don't get sped up
they don't move they take
loopin they do not
because they don't draw they're not
uncomfortable
so is it better offense
that's what I'm saying
Dudes are really good offensively.
I think they cool, but they don't play the deed that we was playing.
Because if we, the defense we play, that's what really aggravates me.
I'm watching.
I'm like, there's too much drop.
There's not enough big stepping up and actually making them turn the corner.
Y'all watch these games.
What do they actually take away from guys, Nick?
What do they take away?
I feel like it's hard to take away something when you have four shooters out there.
No, I'm saying.
But for the main guy, right?
If you trap me, I throw it to the corner.
But for the main guy, right?
Yeah.
What do they take away from Luca?
Okay.
Ain't too many bigs.
That's another thing.
That's going to do.
That's going to be.
This is the thing.
If you were playing us, right?
They knew this up with that.
You knew what it was going to be, right?
We're going to be up on their screen.
We're going to make you get off the ball.
You're good.
You're going to score your points.
Good individually, yes.
But.
Late shot, clock.
You're going to have to come back.
You get it.
Y'all was a bigger.
Like, you're going to have to come back and get it.
Guys, I ain't going to say we shut guys out.
I'm not saying that.
Guys were really good when we played.
You can't name five bigs that would match up with y'all besides Joker right now.
But they was agile though.
They wasn't just big big cinder block feet.
I know.
They could move their feet.
It was a power for and it was a sinner you had.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Me and MC was holding that shit down.
That's all I'm saying.
Then me and A&A for a while.
Yeah, both blocks too.
It's like, hey, wherever you go, man.
Yeah.
It's like...
It's the scheme, though.
But you got to get...
The scheme, you got to have good individual defenders,
guys that don't get straight line, right?
That buy in to...
Right?
The buy-in to it all.
And then when you have an anchor back there with guys,
they really have to pay attention to where Wembe is.
Right?
You really have to.
Yeah.
And you got...
It's interchangeable positions on the perimeter
as far as defending guys, you're not afraid to put Fox on Jason Tatum, right?
Yeah.
Because of how the game is playing.
Before, you would be terrified to put fucking Fox on Jason Taylor.
Because he's going to take to the boat.
We're going to take him straight down that motherfucking' ball.
And your point guard are going to say go down there.
Is it a different fear nowadays with the guys like Yokers, guys like Wimby, guys like Embed that can stretch the floor so much that they don't even have to worry about what?
So you want them at, though?
Yeah.
Like, do it's the lower percent.
in his shot.
No, even though
Joker shooting
39 from 3 and B
shoot it the way he does
and Wimper shoot.
Listen,
they are doing the
defense of fucking
when you're shooting 70%
at the river.
Are you sitting back on that
when Joker
at the 3-4 in line
like that?
Are you playing up?
That's the thing.
You got to play neutral though.
No, you got to pay him honest
because he's such a great passer
right?
Yeah, you got to pay money.
Because he's looking here out of that
motherfucker
passing that bitch.
You got to put ball pressure
and B not so much.
Yeah, right?
He's not passing it like that.
Pump fake?
Yeah.
Because that pump fake.
You don't know whether it's a shot or a...
So him, you gotta...
The way I would guard him, I'm playing him honest no matter what, right?
But if he's at the perimeter, he's doing me a favor.
Yeah.
Right?
I don't have to wrestle with him.
And you can move your feet with him and you can move...
He don't have any advantages on the perimeter against me.
Yeah.
On the block, he's 280.
He would want to block out.
Hey, he's 280.
Yeah.
He put all that way.
This is $2.30 at the time.
Hey, he got me about 50, 60 pounds,
and he is doing me a favor.
I think he was passing me up.
I think he would more want to pass from the post
than be on the perimeter.
I don't think he, even though he would probably try to back now,
I still think your post defense would force him to be a pass.
Yeah, I will, because you're going to be a pastor.
You know what I'm saying?
So, but I'm looking at how the guards,
the guards actually guard the guards way out on the press.
from Remmerer more than we used to
like when you got the picking rose
are at half court and they're
switching that bullshit. It ain't even a real
it's a smoke screen
just to get a mismatch
and I'm like why are you guarding him
way out here and he's not
trying to even shoot the ball
and you only got three guys that can actually
shoot from way out there if you let them
everybody else you're going under
that shit. Yeah. Three now so
you're playing up. What are our
percentage? We plan our percentage. We got 32
That's all, but that's all the game and change.
We couldn't shoot that meaning.
We couldn't shoot those single back three.
Like, no.
But it would have to be a good thing.
You did.
You would have to be.
I did.
I did.
But you were capable of a shooter, though.
You were capable.
So your scouting report was, hey, watch out for Nick on this pick and roll.
Don't go under.
He will shoot that motherfucker, right?
There was certain people.
But for the most part, we going under this shit.
Because offense for us was time and a shot selection.
So if you shot that bullshit shot in the first five seconds of the game
We baiting you into that
Go under that shit make him shoot that
Because that ain't their game plan
That ain't what they're trying to get the dog
You do it this man
You do that shit, bro, nigga looking at everybody
looking like, bro, what you doing?
Let's fuck the hell on the day
Okay
Oh we're breaking the play today
Okay, that's how we plan
That's what we're breaking the play
We're breaking the play
We're waiting for one of y'all to fuck up
That's what we doing?
Okay.
We're not running it all the way too today.
Okay.
But just back to win,
I'm happy to see him being,
because people are looking at him as the elite defender in NBA, right?
For him to be speaking up for the entire league in that manner.
Yeah, I like that.
His team, that's, that's big for the league in itself.
For sure.
He's saying the right thing.
Yeah, because he's going to win the award this year.
That was the first time he said the right thing.
He's going to win the award this year and for him to be speaking up in that manner.
But the fact, you see what they think about us, though.
Come in here.
No, because you're hearing it constantly.
Listen, if you're watching the game, right, from abroad,
you are hearing this shit constantly, right?
Lack of defense, lack of defense, they don't play no defense,
they don't play no defense, lack of defense.
He's thinking, listen, I'm going to go over this bitch and average, 40.
Yeah.
He's like, no, they actually scouting me, right?
They actually forcing me into these shots, right?
That's why I got to see these monks, man.
Yeah, that's like who said
Which one of them guys said
This guy's more athletic than he thought
Zachary
Zachary Eichoshae, right?
Well, he's from him.
He's like, shit, I'm athletic as they come.
I was the most athletic.
A more athletic guy in the cold
He'd come over here, he's like
Yeah, there's Anthony Edwards.
Yeah, absolutely.
John Moran.
There's guys like that.
Zion Williamson.
My teammate Jail and John
like that guy was
regular.
Did you see Zion?
What Zion was doing?
Like, he don't, he ain't
seeing that on a regular basis.
Nah.
Right?
So it's that, man.
But league is in good hands, man, moving forward with these guys.
I think they're doing a good job of competing and selling the product.
But I think they're more accepted to some people not playing defense, though.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Because, yeah, of course.
Well, they know what they're not accepting of them.
They're blasting his ass out.
They're blasting them out.
But what's more important to our culture?
is scoring.
Scoring is more important right.
If he wasn't leading the league in scoring, if he wasn't
leading the league is scoring, it'll be
a bigger deal than it is.
But that's something with all of them, though.
I think everybody in the top five
outside of Wemby, they're
not known as defenders.
They're not getting buckets.
And we look at the top
last 10 years.
You got James, got D, KD,
all these guys ain't like all
defensive players, so you don't really
harp on their defense. But you see
discrepancies in certain times.
He's like, damn, James, you ain't going to play a defense right here?
Damn, Brian, you ain't going to get back on defense right here?
Luca, what are we doing?
But you expecting that from your top player.
So getting a little bit of pushback is not a bad thing, but.
But then there's guys who understand when to give that extra, right?
I think Bronn fits that.
He understands.
Oh, he does.
He does.
When April, whatever, when first time 18, it's different.
April 18th come.
That motherfucking defensive intents and that motherfucking defensive intent is the motherfucking go up.
Him in the passing lanes is...
Yeah, like, his defense intent is going to winning time.
You have guys like that, right?
That you know when it's winning time, they're going to be better at that.
Rondo, Jimmy Butler.
Yeah, Jimmy.
Jimmy, yep, yeah, certain guys like that.
Let's shift back to the offensive side and keep this thing moving.
Talk about the Celtics and what they've got going on with their dynamic duo.
So Celts were back in action Wednesday on the road against the heat.
looking to bounce back from their loss to the Hawks on Monday.
Jason Tatum back in the lineup for the first time
since winning Eastern Conference Player of the Week
after missing Monday's game for injury management.
Celtics dynamic duo took their talents to South Beach
and continued to put the East on notice
that they want to bring the crown back to Bean Town.
Let's take a look at the highlights if we can.
Celtics' offense cooking from the jump in this one,
putting up a franchise record 53 points in the first quarter.
So in the first frame, Boston was 20 or 28 from the field,
11 for 15 from 3.
Jalen Brown putting up 20 points in that first quarter.
Sam Hauser has 17 in that quarter,
five for five from deep.
So Jaylen Brown came through with his seventh 40-point game this season,
at 43 points on 17 to 29 shooting along with seven assists.
He's not number two.
Meanwhile, Jason Tatum messed around and dropped his fifth career triple double.
His first this season,
Tatum had 25 points, 18 rebounds, 11 assists.
The 18 boards just one shy.
of tying his career high, Celtics had 147 points in this game.
That's gonna lose this year.
Hell no.
Maw fucking humidity down the boy is marvelous.
They got, bam was like 43, it ain't 84 though.
That's how I've been playing lately.
Y'all remember when I dropped 83 on the Wizards?
Man.
I ever tell you about that?
I ain't got to play no more this year.
That's nice right there.
That's really, really.
doing this thing, seventh 40-point game in season
once in the Celtics are five and two when Jalen Brown goes over 40.
Tatum.
The niggas are really 2K balling.
No, 2K balling right now.
All the moves.
Every move.
Every move is something.
Nice.
Real nice.
You work on your shit against bad teams.
Racks.
Let me go to this thing.
Let me go to my bag.
They don't got no answer for this.
So Celtics had 147 points in the game, one shy of their season high.
Damn.
Boston approved the 10 and 2 with Tatum in the lineup this season.
Keep a two and a half game lead over the Knicks for the second spot in the East.
So after the game, hold on.
So first question, looking at Tatum and Brown, what they're doing now.
Tam appears to get better every, every game.
Are the Jay's the most dangerous duo in the league right now?
I told you all.
Finals.
They're going to the finals.
We are going to the violence.
They ain't even got Vouch back yet.
Man.
That's insane.
We're going to the...
Somebody asked me yesterday.
Somebody asked me why I got.
I was like, oh...
Hard not to.
Man.
Hard not to.
You see that?
Without Voucho, though.
Like, Vouchovitch is a fucking monster.
To me, like, I think he's one of the most underrated bids.
Underrated bigs, for sure.
And to know that he can be down there getting rebounds.
Who would that?
pace, that's, yeah, because it's,
it's like prozingis.
He's fine.
He can just trail and.
And you can play throwing.
Yeah.
That's a thing in a half court.
Yeah.
Half court, you can play through them.
You can play through them.
You can play splits.
You can do a lot of different shit with him, dog.
Trail big, shoot the three.
Man.
Triple handoff, you got what you're going to switch it.
What you're going to do?
You're going to walk whoever down.
You're going to go under this with J.B. and J.
Good luck.
It's not.
Hey, that's not.
That's nice.
Fritz is shooting that bitch, Houser shooting that bitch the way they shooting.
Derek White out this bitch playing the way.
Derek White, stepping up fine.
The bids, they got this.
Hey, no, they're a problem.
They're tough.
They got this.
Spurs up.
Getting this boy back, man, and you 10 and two with him?
Yeah, that's scary.
I mean, just got Eastern Commerce player a week.
It's scary.
It's scary for these.
Put up a triple double.
But that's the feeling they had before he got hurt.
I think that's the feeling they had.
That's the feeling they have.
Yeah.
Game before he played with what he looked right now?
32, 33 minutes of the night.
Like somebody, like, bro, he ramping up.
He ramping up.
Yeah, that was the best thing for,
but them to get Jaylon Brown this type of confidence too.
Yeah.
He needed it.
He needed it.
He needed it.
But he's been training well.
He been out there training with Dash,
and they've been getting to them spots.
When you get constantly that repetition of getting to these spots,
and then you go out there in the field
and you see it work.
And you're like, oh, they can't fuck with this.
And I ain't even get to the Frito line like that.
I ain't cade uncertain about his future or whether how he going to be
and what he going to be able to do when he come back.
The rest of it, and the Knicks should be ashamed of themselves.
They should be.
The Knicks should be fucking shaming himself, dog.
Every since the cup.
Yeah.
Every since the cup.
They've been trashed after all that.
They should be ashamed of himself.
So, Kenney, to your point, Tato's played 35 plus minutes in three of the last four games.
That's scary, man.
Played over 30 minutes.
His confidence going to just keep nine straight games.
And you got them both playing like that.
Wait until he started filling them hops coming back.
He started dunking that shit, all that shit, left-hand shit he was doing just now.
Them dunked.
18 rebranding the ball at the hot-ton?
Triple-double?
No, it's scary for the East.
Yeah.
Yeah, it is scary for the East.
And I would, I put my money on them to come out east.
For sure right now.
In the heat, obviously, I'm starting to play for every 10th in the East right now.
but there's a bunch of teams clumped up.
Yeah, they get smack like that.
Yeah.
You're playing for something?
You still, you're still trying to get something.
You get smack, give up a hundred and fifty at home, and you plan for something?
53 in the first quarter.
That's insane.
147 points in the game.
I just got what you said.
He had 18 rebounds.
He was going for the 20.
He was going for the 20.
So, they're telling like shit, all right, Brown.
I'm going to do everything else.
Yeah, he playing 30 something.
That's a good team, though.
That's what I'm talking about.
That's what I was saying for him when he came.
Yes.
He accepted.
I'm going to do all the other.
Good teams too, though.
But remember, the rolls were reversed.
Yeah.
I felt like Jason Tatum was how Brown is playing.
Let me go get my 39, 43.
Oh, yeah.
And Janet Brown was like, go ahead.
He was always a good rebound, though.
He was always getting nine or ten boards.
But I think now he's like, I can actually go and pass that bitch around now
and get my 22, 25, 12.
That's a different.
Before it was relying when the ball is late shot clocked this day,
all the pressure was on him.
Yeah.
Right.
The ball, everybody trying to find JT.
Right.
Now, you got Jalen where you, it's a two-headed monster out there in that situation.
Man.
He don't have to chase down the ball to go get in the late.
Right.
Now you got another boy who's confidence.
Jay and Brown was already a killer.
Yeah.
Right.
Like, you get his killer confidence.
Like, where, like, yeah, it's.
And not saying that his confidence had ever wavered.
he always believed in himself
but to be the number one
and to be holding the fort down
in that regard man
and shine the light on them
and be like yeah we're watching you
show out mangan show out
yeah I love that shit
that shit's fine
and we talked about this little yesterday
I Swaggy but since Brown had that
eight point game when he got booted early
I told you
and the nine games since then he's averaging
32.6 rebounds
six assists
so it's not like having Tatum back
Slow them down.
It's only elevated his game.
Yeah, now he's not facing double teams.
Listen, just imagine.
I can't get the button.
He was doing all of that.
He was doing all of that.
He was doing his number's going to have to face that.
Now he's going to have to face that.
Now you've got to get one-on-one now.
More up from his stats.
Is it more up from his stats?
It would be more up from his stats right now.
Instead of 32, it would be 34.
So the same thing that gave them to see him before.
Just press the button for.
Like people were saying it's easy for number.
Right about this.
It's easier for Jalen Brown to get off because Jason Taiton playing against two.
That was people were saying before, right?
It's easy for Jalen Brown to get off because Jason Tatum faces all the double team.
Yep.
Jalen Brown has been going through that all season, facing double team just that and the third, right?
So now he gets to play one-on-one.
Now you cannot double him now because you've got that killer out there back.
Man.
Pick your poison.
Would you say those two?
Obviously, there's a lot of dangerous duos across the league.
Yeah.
Not dimension, but those two are what they're playing right now.
Better than them too?
Can you name one?
Name one.
Who, I can name one.
Castle, Winby.
I didn't say better.
I didn't say better.
You know where I was going on.
I'm saying better than that.
I ain't saying better.
Jamal and Joker.
Winby and Castle.
For sure.
I give it to him.
He deserved.
He's been deserved an all-star.
Luca, AR, Luca, or.
That's nowhere in that.
Second team all NBA this year.
Who?
Jamal Murray.
No.
Yes.
Third.
Second.
Third.
Who else playing better?
Besides the, the, the,
That's going to be on first team.
He's 26, 7, and...
Brown.
First team.
First team all-N-BA.
You got Tucker first team.
First team.
All-N-B-A.
Maxie, not...
He ain't qualified.
You got Shea.
Shee first team.
You got Wimby going to be on there.
First team.
That's three.
Luca.
Kaye.
Yeah, Kauai.
Second team.
Tyrese Maxie average.
29, 7 and 4.
Second team.
Brunson.
Thurston, 13.
Brunson, yeah, it's a little.
13.
Donovan Mitchell.
Second or 13.
second.
Jamal Murray, second or third team all NBA.
Jalen Durden?
Yeah.
Second or 13th team all NBA.
They're going to be.
Jalen Johnson?
You got to be there.
A lot of names, y'all.
A lot of guys got good stats.
Jamal Murray will be second or third team all NBA this year.
Yeah, I agree.
It's about that time for him.
This is, yeah.
He got to make his first third.
If Kate don't qualify, then you got that.
If I'm like, Kauai, and Nicola can only miss one more game.
Kawai, you got to make a thing.
No, Kauai definitely going to make.
Second or second.
Second or third.
But what Jamal Murray is doing, when Nicola was out, don't forget, Nicole had missed time.
You got Jalen Johnson, the average of 23, 10, and 8 right now.
The Hawks climbing up to East think 15 and 2 in their last 17 games.
The Boston boys are the fifth right now, Ken.
But then, you got guys just ahead of him.
For sure.
It's tough.
It's tough to.
No, but I mean, I can't.
You got to give it to them.
You got to.
Joker, Joker, you got to give it to them.
Man, shut me, stop.
As far as a duo?
Duo?
Yeah.
Duo?
I am.
Duo?
Duo?
Yeah.
Duo?
Yeah.
Duo?
Like, one two-punt?
There's no duo even coming close to Janet Brown and Jason Taylor.
One two-fund.
Did you see that?
Yeah.
Do anything look better than that?
Look, them niggas is like stocked them alone out there, bro.
Them two over there, they stocked them alone, bro.
He had 37
Last night
They played on the same thing
Yes
That's a long man
If it was a film
We ain't
We ain't never seen that before
You know what I'm saying
We see he's talking to them alone
That's like
Where Jason Tatum is now
Coming back
Like before I don't think it was a question
Like Vincent Timack
Vincent Timak in Toronto
Yeah that was
Yeah
Got big dog
And Ray
Big dog and fucking Ray Island
Sheesh
They're not doing
None of the moves
Right there
No, bro.
I agree with you.
I agree.
It's two-case set up there.
That's Vincent T-Mack if they were to stay.
Yeah.
For sure.
Yeah, but you can go out and get, like you saying, you can go out.
I like, Marr had 37, Joe, had Triple Doe.
Jaylen Brown had 40, Jason Tatum, Triple Doe.
So it's a, I'm saying?
And then it goes down to what it looked like at the end of the day.
That's what it is.
Because that's boring.
Yeah.
Their shit is boring.
This shit is exciting, but it's still equally at power.
So let's just say that.
Jason Tater.
and Jalen Brown the best duo in these.
Nicola and...
No, no, no, no, they all leave.
We go first, we go second.
We let them be second.
No, we don't like second.
We like first.
We're third.
We ain't the second most greatest.
We're going to second most greatest.
You ain't got no choice now.
You ain't got no choice now.
You're going to be the second most best.
You can't be the first most greatest.
You got to be second.
Trying to think.
Second.
No more.
Shit.
Oh, yeah, Jalen, I mean,
Jaylon Williams ain't been shit.
Yeah, not this year.
He's been heard a lot this year.
You can throw SGA chat potentially.
No, you know.
Cheb brings defensively.
No, no.
That ain't even, no.
They ain't even in the conversation.
Yeah, it's a good talk about that.
They ain't even in the conversation.
They can't even do that.
I put Cade and Durrton in there before I put,
um, they saw it.
On the list with Shea.
That's duo.
Brothin and.
I just don't think that too.
Brounson in town.
As best duo.
They top...
Honorable mention.
Yeah, they're honorable mention 10.
Oh, um...
We're doing the top 10 there on this problem.
James.
James Hardin?
They're in the top 10.
With Mowbly?
Mobley, one of them.
They're in the top 10.
Probably.
You got to go James now.
Yeah, you got to go James now.
Go 10 then, top 10.
It's tough.
It's a lot of good shit out there right now.
But duos, though?
Like, there's...
far as two that's getting it done.
What they look like at this particular moment?
It's Luca LeBron or Luca A.R.
Because at this moment, you could, right now,
Luca A.R.
But it was, Luca and Braun is the,
it never looked good.
It never looked good to me.
It just never.
You got two alpha.
Luca and Aiton would be more.
That man and, um, Jewish random.
Amen and Jew?
Yeah.
Nah.
Ain't enough.
Nah, that ain't enough.
It ain't enough.
Fox and, oh, you put up.
I put Castle up there.
Fox and Wendy?
Castle.
It would be a better, because Fox is an all-star.
Yeah, Fox and Winby.
Castle locks up too.
The castle.
That's why I take it.
Yeah, I have 40 points of double in people.
They're the best one, two, three?
Are they the best one, two, three?
Yeah.
Right now?
I give you that one.
Luke or Brown, they are.
That's what I'm saying.
They're probably a good second.
Yeah, that's a good one.
That's a good one.
It would have been, shade.
Shade
Shet
No
Jalen
It would have
If they were
It's normally them
But
Yeah it's a good solid
Aiden and Luca for sure
Aiden and Luca for sure
It's what it's supposed to be
He said I ain't compelled out here
God damn
I should Clint better
Man
You're gonna take Clint
He left the league and rebounding
He did
Yes he did
He go get them forward
Left the league and rebounding
Yes he did
They didn't play very well.
Plant did his job like, man.
Lobb, thread,
lock shot, all that.
Run the four.
Average 15 rebounds a night.
For sure.
Hey, DeAndre is he playing very well right now.
What is his number right now?
The last like 10.
On the season.
What do you have on the season?
Ball Miller can nibble?
Good.
For the three.
Underrated.
Yeah.
Underrated.
Nice.
Aiding average in 12 and 8.
The fuck out of here.
But that's the number.
much we say he was going to
no no no no I say he was
supposed to be at least 18
we said 17 18 into the
give him in acclimated
we said double double double
17 and 10 that's 17
17 and 11th
that's what you need for the Lakers to win they know
that's what they said in the
68% from the field
no on the season no no Nick
fuck that game
because they 8 and 2
they were like 8 and 2 in their last 10
yeah
82 and last 10
cool 12 and 8 and 8 ain't going to
get it done, brother.
Nah.
Because he ain't going
and he barely average that
in the playoff series.
Last 10 games?
What he averaging?
12 and 8.
12 and 8.
So he's consistent.
He's stuck on.
Well, he remember he made his mind
of it.
It was like,
I'm going to beat this guy.
I'm going to be
better at you.
It doesn't.
Since he wants me to be in my bench.
Since you want me to be in my bed.
Shit.
12 and 8.
She, Clint average double double.
11 and 12, 12, 12 and 15.
I get you.
You're in your out.
I have two games.
15 and 8, but still.
15 and 8.
He's stuck the eight, nigga.
He don't get the fucking ball.
But rebounds is eight.
Huh?
You can rebound that motherfucker.
You're a nigga.
He's one of them I need motivation to go get the board type shit.
For sure.
Let me touch that motherfucker to get it.
Yeah, take it out of bounds, nigga.
Get it off the glass, bro.
You can touch it as much as you listen.
You can touch the ball as much watch as you want to get off the glass.
Hey, guess what kind of big he is?
He the big that let the ball hit the ground and run down court when you're like,
hey, man, take the ball.
No, nigga, you take the ball out.
He ran down the floor.
Yeah, you can touch the ball as much you want rebounding, nigga.
Average more than eight rebounds.
You can touch that bitch, damn it, every possession.
I'm about to shoot it right now.
Yeah.
Right.
Get this.
You know what?
Back three, see, he can get some rebounds.
I will get some rebounding.
Right.
A little more on Tatum.
They don't try.
Yeah.
So like I said, Tatum continued to impress in his return to the court.
Looking more and more like himself.
So Celtics beat reporter, Noah Dozel.
asked Tatum if there has been a turning point with the joy he felt being back on the court.
And he talked about some advice that he got from Clay Thompson.
Clay told me this after we played them the first time.
He was like, he was like, man, you know, he looked great.
He's like, one thing he wished he did more, I guess, when he first came back,
was like, just give himself more grace.
He was like, man, not too many people understand what, you know,
his injure is like and coming back and the ups and downs.
It's physically and mentally that you deal with.
That's just something I've tried to continue to remind myself.
You know, it's a balance of being a league competitor and wanting to be, you know, the best version of yourself.
But it's just, you know, I just kind of try to remember I've came a long way.
And I'm grateful to be why I'm at.
Right.
I wasn't 100% sure I was even going to be able to play this year.
So the fact that I'm able to go out there and contribute.
I don't know.
I was going to be what I'm doing now.
It's a big one.
So Tatum was in to ask if he's been applying Clay's advice.
My man said, he replied, no, with a smoke machine currently.
We have some issues in the area, but he said, said he's trying to find the joy but still gets frustrated.
I'll say he didn't want to come back and be a role player.
What are your thoughts on Tatum's mindset since returning to the court?
That's a hard thing to do, return from Achilles' injury.
He was frustrated initially with not being.
being able to come in right away and do what you do.
Human nature, man.
It's part of the process.
Someone who dealt with two micro fracture surgeries
and having the rehab from that
and many restrictions, uncertainty,
when and if you're going to be able to play.
Yeah, but allowing yourself,
because we all, well, we look in the mirror
and we see Superman still.
Right? We see the pre-injured person. We don't see what's going on internally.
So we still think that we can go out and compete like we did and play it like we did before the injury.
So what Clay told him was accurate, right? Allow yourself some grace with this, man, because there are going to be days where you're not going to be yourself.
You're not going to play as well as you think you should be playing. You're not going to feel like it.
It just happens. It's human nature, right? And two.
To have someone like Clay
that's played at a high level
that's one at a high level
and had to deal with this
to have someone like that to lean on
is great.
Someone who you respect
and to
take the advice and use it.
They can say whatever to you, but to take the advice
and use it is a testament
to Jason Tatum's open mindness
to outst
source things, right? Because we don't know it all. This is first time dealing with something
like this. So he don't know how to go about it. And that's the best advice that he could
have received, I think, was to allow yourself grace with this. Because you're not going
be yourself every day right away. So give it time. So I think it's dope.
Looks like he's getting closer and closer to himself. It was their conference player the week last
week, triple double. But you do hear the noise. Like people talking, I think before that,
Is he going to be the same?
He's shooting a lot of shots, and he's not making a lot of shots.
You're struggling from the field of Dougal.
Shoot a shoot, right?
Shoot a shoot.
But that's dope that clay, you know, that's who the Warriors was.
Like Kay said, I'm glad he listened.
That shows a testament to why they are who they are,
why Boston Celtics are.
You could have been listening to the media,
try to separate you and Jalen Brown, but you know, he's still in the winning the championship.
You become, you accept your role when Jalen's, you know, being a MVP candidate, assigned to a good
teammate, assigned to somebody that know who he is, confident in himself.
And, yeah, the best advice is to not listen to the outside noise and, you know,
You don't know it all.
Ashah, when you hear Tatum talk,
I think Tatum scored over 20 points
in eight of the 12 games
since he's been back.
Had a season high 32.
Sunday, came back,
25-point triple-dub.
Mr. Rummianma not playing tonight.
He ducking?
Ducking.
Ducking.
Thank you, Underdog.
What I say,
I said, it's better for him to duck
if he's going to win,
that's the only chance he got.
Shit.
Duck and Koward.
Oh, I had my money.
I said the Clippers going to win,
so, yeah.
I remember when I came back from my micro fracture, first person I asked was, no, I didn't
even ask him, he actually said something to me because I had came back.
Grant Hill, so he's like, it's going to take you a year to get back to where you feel comfortable
doing a bunch of shit.
It's going to, because I was struggling with trying to figure out whether or not it felt normal
to do certain movements, but I was out there playing because you could still play.
But it's like, can you, you feel like you're a shell of yourself.
You're like, damn, I'm anticipating certain shit.
He knew it right away.
He felt he was playing with the sons.
He's like, it's going to take you a little bit, bro.
Don't needn't worry about it.
Take your time.
Get out here.
Push the limits.
Take chances, but don't get down on yourself for not being who you think you're supposed to be.
And I think that was something that definitely helped me.
I ended up having my best year to next year going into that summer and prepping.
way but I had to get the kinks out. You know, you got to get that that bullshit out where you look and feel like it's just, ah, this ain't going to be the same. But I don't think that's happened for him. I think that first game for Jason Tatum was that was it. It was that I'm rusty, Mr. Dunk got hung, all that shit happened. It's like, damn, I ain't who I thought I was. I thought I was ready. But now it's beautiful to see him fight through it. The adversity is always a good thing to go through. So, um, I ain't who I thought I was ready. Um, but now, it's, it's beautiful to see him fight through it. The adversity is always a good thing to go through. So, um, um, um, um,
To see him keep growing and keep growing and teammates have his back.
Shit, I think by the time the second round comes, they can get through it.
He'll be on his way.
I don't think players understand how much confidence hearing your peers,
like say something that uplift you or motivate you in a certain type of way
has the effect on you, too, on your game.
Facts.
Yeah, I don't think...
Especially in the lights in the community.
Yeah, yeah, like...
Where we've been known to.
It could be the little thing sometimes.
But just the support from, you know, your peers means a lot that we don't shine the light on that too, though.
Acknowledgement.
Acknowledgement.
Just acknowledge.
Sometimes you don't be knowing, niggas.
Right.
Fuck with your game or not.
For real.
Hey, bro, you, woo-woo.
Like, oh, for real?
Oh, shit.
You?
Yeah.
I don't need nobody else to say shit to me.
You like, oh, you like my name?
Oh, then.
Fuck it then.
Fuck everybody else.
Right.
That shit crazy.
All right, well, let's stay in the Eastern Conference.
Short-handed Pistons had OKC on the ropes Monday,
taking the defending champs to overtime without their top five scores in that loss.
Follow that up with a win over the Raptors Tuesday to all but lock up the top seat in the east
with Jalen Dern dropping 31 points and nine boards in that win.
So despite losing their franchise player for the foreseeable future,
the Pistons haven't missed a beat.
Let's take a look.
at interesting numbers.
I want your guys opinion on.
So Detroit, 11 and 4 without K. Cunningham this season.
7 and 2 in the last nine games without their franchise player,
which includes the game he left with the punctured lung
after only playing five minutes.
But Pistons actually have a higher win percentage
in the 15 games without Kade this season
than the 61 he's played.
Who they play?
Like I said, the Pissons have a four-game lead
over the Celtics for the top spot in the East.
Six games remaining, but they own the tiebreaker.
So the Celtics.
who they played since then
NBA teams?
The teams in the national basketball
Sturt?
Teams that was on the schedule
before Kaye got hurt?
It was
New Orleans.
Okay.
NBA team?
They beat them.
They beat Minnesota.
No, A man.
So it was kind of even.
Lost the O.C.
Beat the Lakers, snap their
non-game winning streak.
Beat the record.
I remember that game.
Oh, they beat the Wizards.
Cool, they're on the schedule.
The West Coast Wizards
Go on the state after that.
Nasty.
Nasty.
Nasty.
Nasty.
Nasty.
New Orleans.
Loss of the Hawks by one in overtime.
Lost with Thunder and overtime.
They had a good little schedule right there.
A winnable schedule.
We need to close these games.
We need to win these joints.
Got to win when we need to win.
Yeah, for sure.
Missing their best player.
Yeah.
No, for sure.
But to beat the Lakers was a good win.
Yeah, that was a good.
The Missingade, Isaiah Stewart, also.
been hurt.
Some time, I think, with a calf strain.
I'm saying this is not the Bad Boys 2.0 Piston Squad that they're
rolling out there, but they're seeing some big contributions for other guys on the roster.
They're trying to put, make this something without K.
They, I'm just pointing out that that would be coaching though, right?
It's just there for me.
It's just there for measers.
They were going to Atlanta, beat New Orleans, beat Memphis, lost to O'KC.
Even the games they're losing.
Yeah.
Picked under the overtime.
Solid.
Solid.
Lost by one of the Hawks
It was like two games, Toronto, Lakers.
Yeah, they lost the Oklahoma City game.
They took them boys the overtime
where they played five G-lead guys.
Bags.
I remember that.
Yeah.
I'm just saying, like, without their top five scores in that game,
they compete.
They play hard.
That's why.
Dern was out for that game.
Dern was out that game.
So do you guys like how the Pistons have responded
without Kay Cunningham?
They could have easily went on a skid,
tricked off, top spot in the east.
Well, Nick definitely said it was going to be trashed.
Booty juice after this.
Yeah, I did.
Booty juice.
Well, they didn't show it up.
They haven't.
They're going to be number one for sure.
But I don't know.
I don't think this is going to work in the playoffs, though.
Well, they should have K back for the playoff.
I like it.
They're keeping it consistent.
Keep it consistent.
J.B. ain't got them wavering.
He got them still clicking on all cylinders.
Then that just goes.
to show it's more of a system play.
Is it?
They put Jenkins in K position.
But it's just guys waiting on their opportunity.
Yeah.
That means you got a bench full of guys
that's actually doing what they need to do.
Staying prepared, buying into the scouting report
and everything that's being done,
where they want to go with the ball.
Think about their offense without Jalen Darden out there.
You got no K, no Jailen.
Like, what the hell is the business?
Tobias Harris?
They're better than the weather still.
Yeah.
They're winning.
They better than the Warriors still.
So I think those games give you confidence.
But them toss-up games, though.
Them with toss-up games for the other teams to come in and steal, we're playing against
the number one team pissings without their main guys, we could steal these games.
And they ended up winning and be able to hold them off.
That's commendable.
So here's the situation though in the Eastern Conference.
You've got the Raptors in 7 currently.
Could potentially be the Sixers who have climbed to the Sixers.
spot also be the hornets.
Who would you rather play that?
Raptor 7th, Hornets 8th right now.
Really?
We're looking at potential pistons, hornets.
After the fist and cuffs they got into, I asked you guys about this a couple of weeks ago.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So what's the, what's the, I'm looking at play in.
So.
You go, Thai.
Playing right now is Raptors at 7th, Hornets, 8th, Magic 9th.
Hornets 40 wins.
Horns 40 wins.
Orlando 40 wins.
Miami 40 wins.
So Magic and Hornets are both four.
40 and 36 right now.
Horns have the tie braids.
That's what I'm saying.
Magic don't look the same.
And what happened over there?
Pollo crash.
They've been in and out.
They ain't been healthy.
But they were supposed to be like on the-
Yeah, fifth, six, fourth.
At least out there are three.
Three, you three-four.
Yeah, they were supposed to be on some spurs and piston shit this year.
The Wagner boys got hurt and then Pollo got hurt.
How are you?
Yeah, they've been sliding.
And I don't really trust in Miami Heat, so.
I can see the Pistons Hornets match up.
I like that.
That would be easy.
I think that would be easy for the, who?
Detroit.
Without K.
No, Kade or with Kade?
No, Ked has to play.
Ked will be there.
That's the play.
Hell, yeah.
In the playoffs, yes.
Against them?
Against anybody.
Anybody.
You see.
In the playoffs?
Yeah, he got to be there.
La Mello.
I see.
Mello playing, bro.
Mello.
I see Jenkins in front of Lackay or.
Hey, Jenkins been playing very well.
He has, but, come on.
He ain't ready.
We're talking about a need four wins.
You need four wins, brother.
Four wins.
You need four wins.
I'm not.
We need K.
Solid holding it down.
The Abbate, I don't trust him.
Man.
Do you about it?
No, he's solid, but I just don't trust him against Darden and all the rest of them.
I'm not eight.
I don't want to see Boston, so I don't want to be seven.
I'd rather be eighth right now.
And who's seven?
Raptors right now.
Raptors.
Raptors.
Then Sixers, Raptors.
Then sixers, Raptors on.
When it's all.
I like the sixers and six.
It's solid.
Sixers and Raptors right now, I think they would be either six or sevens.
They want Knicks.
They want the Knicks.
They want the Knicks too.
Right now.
Especially right now.
I'm trying to finish six, whoever I'm trying to play the Knicks at three.
Mm.
Disappointment.
It's going to be some good playoff, man.
It is going to be.
I'm doing a whole little special.
I'm doing a whole little special.
You get a win.
James and Atlanta?
Shit.
Oh, that's going to be the match at?
Yeah.
Cleveland, Atlanta.
That could be troublesome.
Man, that's what I'm saying.
Hey, listen, Atlanta is coming to play.
I'm not going to lie.
McCullum got them boys out there playing.
Nikiel got them boys out, Johnson out there.
Ian, you got a comming out there.
You don't know what he's going to do.
Man, for sure.
Sure. I like them a lot.
So I'm telling the cops
does not have much faith in this Pistons squad,
the East has not run through Detroit
in your guys' opinion?
No, they're not going to right.
It's running through Boston.
You run through Boston.
But Detroit is a sleeper.
You know, I'm saying with K,
I'm saying we just don't know
how effect that K is going to be
by this punctual lung situation, right?
Many restrictions are now we just don't know.
They've been in pole position
throughout the season, right?
They've been in one.
But we'll see
I'm saying we need to see how he's going to look
But right now
He's frustrated
As it stands
I think we can say
Boston is
Trimmy
He got his last weed testing
Now he came
He don't test no
Edible
Swike Edom
It's no cream
No
I thought it's still three
No
No they test
Well still
He can't do nothing
Now
They test the pen
They test the other shit
Oh my shit
No
You're edible
It's a pen
bro
They test for other shit.
I wish, boy.
Shit.
So it's not three tests no more?
No, it was four.
Four, yeah.
Yeah, it used to be four.
It was four.
Oh, that was three.
Yeah.
Too early, too late.
It didn't even matter.
It gave me, listen.
They gave yours one, two, three, four.
I didn't give a fuck.
How many you had?
When that ball stopped bouncing, that train, and that, listen, I'm firing that train up, brother.
That's just what it was.
God.
The glory day.
That's it.
I didn't smoke during the season.
So, listen.
Soon as that ball stopped bound.
Soon as there wasn't no more of this shit.
Jump ball and went no more of this.
I don't think there was a time we didn't ever roll up.
We was rolling up.
The whole seat here.
Touchdown.
What room we're going to, man?
Whose room we're going to?
Yours or mine?
When the championships doing that, it's sick.
Y'all were doing that?
No.
Yeah, okay.
Christian man over there.
Christian man.
Good Christian man.
Good Christian man.
Good Christian man.
Good Christian.
Wine on.
Water to.
Water to.
We know who was over there doing it.
You know the one who was over there doing it.
One that gave him some good advice.
Documented.
Or him too.
Him too.
Hey.
Both from together.
Yo.
Cheing ching chong.
No, we were going to.
In the season, I walked by a class, he's like, yo, I had my pen, right?
You know, that pen liked that.
He's like, let me get that, OG.
All they do is do is doing that.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
That's all you need doing that.
Focus.
Focus.
Focus.
Focus.
We could have did that out.
I wish we could have smoked freely, bro.
When we were just playing.
Some dudes did.
Yeah, some dudes.
Regardless.
Yeah, but I-
Whatever rules in.
Yeah, no matter just, for me, I just, yeah.
We just need to go to therapy once a week.
We was good.
Talk to the therapy.
Yeah, but some dudes can do it.
Like, some dudes can do it in moderation.
Right?
Some dudes can do it.
Like, it ain't, like, I'm not, I'm not one of them.
I can come up here enough.
Right.
facts.
They're hearing shit.
Hey, this is a freight train,
broke,
and then broke the brake
downhill.
Hey, listen.
This motherfucker's smoking.
Oh, this has been smoking.
True, true.
They got to jump out of a car
if it was hot boxing.
Yeah, I can't take it too much.
You know what?
I ain't never understood that.
I ain't never did that.
The hot box.
The hot box.
You never did a hot butt?
For what?
What?
What you mean, man?
Pointless at all.
Uh-uh.
If you're smoking the right way, you don't get hot.
Bro, that's the point.
So you don't really have to hit the blunt, bro.
You don't have to hit it.
You don't have to hit it.
You just in the car.
You're in the car.
You're like, man, we're inhaling all the shit.
Every breath is.
Get those road up.
Ah, fuck.
Somebody rode a window down.
God, there's hot in here.
Then it starts, it's hot.
It starts smelling like niggas.
Start smelling like niggas.
in there. There's a lot of niggas in here, man.
That's it.
Delivery
said.
He had palms slanting.
He started seeing shit in the back.
Little midges
walking around in the car.
We're y'all getting room to walk around in here.
Yeah, them the niggins,
then y'all niggas get done
doing that. Then when you niggas go
drive and go speed and get
poured over and get poured out the car
for probable cause, now
motherfuckers in jail. Like, nah, we ain't doing that.
Well, in those days,
He was probably parked.
He was probably parked down.
That's the same car leaving.
Parking the thing is, that same car going to...
The same car on the road.
Hey, listen, that same car, that nigger's there to the next morning.
We're not moving.
Everybody in this car sleep.
They did.
Want to sleep.
Hungry.
We need to sleep this shit.
Oh, man.
We're about to order this shit to the car.
We're going to eat in here for the show.
I learned early.
They probably called.
They got one.
They did what?
They did what?
Because of the car smelled like.
Who? You was in it.
You smell like it.
Yeah, I'm not saying, no, thank you.
You ain't asked me to get out this car,
nigger, because you're going, uh-uh.
Guilty by association.
Yeah, that's all.
That's more new, though, isn't it?
Yeah.
The proper call shit?
No, nigga, they're not.
I'm talking about for the cops.
Yeah.
Nah, that ain't new.
That ain't new.
That was number one.
That's number one, get out of the car,
nigger.
Soon as they smell it.
Yeah, Nick.
That is, they can't just ask you to get out the car.
Nah.
They have to have probable calls.
Even like 2000.
And probable call,
They could lie and say I smell weed, bro.
Damn.
That was the number one locked niggas up, bro.
Just to get out the car.
Search the car, listen, search the car, find the pistol.
Now you, hey, get out the car, car smell like weed, right?
We can go in here now.
Now we can search the car.
Now you got the pistol in the car.
Now they didn't found pills, pistil weed.
All kind of shit.
Now you even know it was in here.
Yeah, that's all I'm saying.
Like, you know.
You're talking about other people.
Yeah, I ain't ever been.
I ain't, no, don't do me.
Don't do me.
Don't do me.
I smoke, nigga, I ain't.
You ain't, hey.
And I learned other niggins.
One thing I did.
A little dope man, yeah.
I learned from other people's mistakes.
Learn from other people's mistakes, brother.
Hey, get out the car for what?
That's it.
That's all they need, Nick.
That's all they need.
Bro.
It's the worst.
It's probably way worse.
You might have a homie that have a warrant.
My homie might have a warrant.
need you know about it. Let me see your IDs.
And then this one dude
got a warrant and everybody out the car.
On the curve. Yes.
I remember that, though.
That's nasty.
But I wish they is, but these dudes, like even today, right,
it's more acceptable
and still, probable cause,
bruh, get out the car.
It is real thing.
You can have a medical car, you can have a car.
You can get out there bitch limping
in the, this is medical.
They don't care.
I know you got something else in here.
I know you got something else in here.
See, it's me.
He said, I smoked a little bit early.
Shout out from the medical car.
Earlier today.
So, come on, you're going to jail.
He called me, said, I said, you have to be the dumbest.
You're going to jail today.
Tell the police what you did.
Yeah.
That feels funny, though.
Had to take my son in car, dude.
Listen, you smoke, born in the car.
Listen, dude, they're going to take your dumb ass to jail, man.
Your car smell like that.
Yeah, and I went up to the...
I smoked a little bit early.
A little bit early.
A little bit.
I said, man.
Yeah, a little bit, lot of bit.
Right, it don't matter.
That's, I said no, well.
This is my cologne.
Linger.
This is my cologne.
Can I buy for men?
Thank you.
This is my cologne.
This is good, don't it?
You want some?
I got some right here.
Oh, yeah.
No, I didn't, listen.
Situationing, right, just came from China, right?
I bought, I bought Asson Martin, right?
Went to Dallas.
I ain't even drove the car yet.
We land, I land back in Dallas, we're going to DGs.
It's like blowing in the car on the way to the strip club, right?
It's about eight cars deep, right?
Cop getting between, squeeze, we're following people.
Listen, three cars behind me, three, four in front of me.
That means he won't you.
That's fucking, squeeze in, dog.
You, your car.
Squeeze in.
That's sick, sure.
Listen, we had just, listen, we had just threw the bitch out the window, right?
We had just threw the bitch out the window.
Just threw it out.
I got two, both of the dudes I got in the car with me,
both of them niggas smoke cigarettes, right?
They know I hate cigarettes with a pet.
Don't smoke them.
Listen, they're around me.
They know to walk off the smoking cigarette.
Don't light no cigarette around me,
and I'm like, but this particular time,
the cop hit them lights.
Woo!
I'm like, hey.
Blow that motherfucker cigarette immediately.
Light fucking cigarette,
niggins.
So you smoking in your front of them.
Yeah.
Then blow it in his face.
Between the two.
No, cigarettes, niggas.
It's 20 in the pack.
So 40 cigarettes
Between the two of these niggas
They got one cigarette
I'm livid
Y'all, I'm mad at them
You ain't got enough cigarettes, nigga
You niggas got one cigarette between you
motherfuckers all the time
You niggas want to chain smoke them bitches
I'm going off, nigga
Yeah, dude
Smoke that bitch, nigga
Puff, puff, puff, puff, puff, puff,
Buff, blow that shit
Blow that shit, listen, pop on this
We're on the highway
So they come into the passenger side,
niggick, hey,
blow it in his face, nigga.
I don't care.
Whatever you got to do.
That type of shit, man.
I'm like,
with one?
One.
Gotta be a new port, too.
Got to be a new port.
Got to be a new port.
Y'all got one cigarette between y'all.
I cussed the whole way.
After he let us go in,
I cussing that after the time to cop.
And that's your fault.
How's my fault?
You were the most smoking.
We were smoking.
Oh.
There's three niggas in the car.
All three of us smoke.
They smoke cigarettes.
I don't.
But he posts up all the men.
Hey, listen, I'm making sure we got some extra new ports in this bitch for you
niggins next time.
I started keeping, hey, to that point, I started keeping blacking my eyes in the car.
Yeah, yeah.
For real.
Let me go ahead and get this smell out here.
Like that.
Hitting the shit out there, black.
That's that nasty.
Nass is a motherfucker.
Look, this motherfucker's love black.
I just got into it, though.
I got to stop.
Just got into blacks.
How you get into blacks?
How you get into blacks?
How you start smoking black?
That's a 24-year-old thing.
Carlos?
Carlos.
Carlos Miller.
With the 85-so?
Yeah.
He ain't smoked blacks?
Yeah, that's all he had in the damn house.
No, well, I guess, I ain't smoking nothing.
You got a regular cigar, nigga?
You got regular cigar.
Two years ago, I just started that shit.
Yeah, man, bro.
You don't even take the high.
You don't even take the paper.
You don't freaking in a nothing.
Yeah, he's freaking the black and us.
He's naked.
Yeah, I had partners in college smoke blacks.
I used to be sitting there watching niggas for 10 minutes straight.
Like, do you know how long they just took you?
Take all the tobacco out.
And then take the field to out and put the tobacco back in like, nigger.
Hey, 20 minutes.
I was trying to learn it.
Then you guys think they want to mix the tobacco with the wheat.
Like, dude, just smoke weed.
I'm cool.
Like, just smoke the weed, bro.
I didn't like the black after.
It's too much.
I'm cool.
It is entirely too much going on.
Just like, back in the day, though, we had a lot more spare time.
We did not.
We definitely had.
Hey, we definitely had for a time.
Look.
Hey, after that 20 minute freaking that black, you had a whole other 45 of smoking that bitch.
It took you 45 minutes of smoking.
Smoking black.
Like, dude, you.
Yeah.
Like, weed, right?
Yeah, man, just, ah, you got nobody to pass it, too.
No, nobody wants that.
You got the little tip on that, bitch.
Yeah.
Put it between his fingers, what you're saying?
I see what you ask me doing.
That's why you like that shit.
That nigga be at the light.
He'd be at the light window down and shit,
blowing the black.
Look at this, nigga.
I'd be rolling by the nigga like,
Shell's me the other day humped at you too.
Yeah, that's that's the king.
You're still the kids.
Yeah, that motherfucker black.
I'm like, I'd be at the light with the window down.
I'm like, I started to roll up over it.
Like, hey.
Black in my all ass.
Yeah, yeah.
But he's dangerous, though.
He smoked blacks and drink Hennessy.
Hey, he's dangerous.
And wear slides and shit with socks and shit.
Yeah, he's dangerous me.
And denim.
I like both of those.
I like actually all three of these days today.
You got them jackets on.
It's real denim.
It was just real jeans.
Levi.
Yeah, Levi.
This woke up.
It's Thursday.
And what size is those, actually?
Your size, man.
Your side.
Your side.
14.
Yeah, they're cool.
You all wear the same size.
Yeah.
Sometimes we get your deliveries, they don't always get to you guys.
12.
Yeah.
12.
Do we have, did anybody locate the golden Easter eggs?
There's one right here.
Damn.
Let me go ahead and tell the people.
They already found them.
There's one right here, people.

I'll actually put it right there.
It has not been updated.
Man, this is this thing.
There's another one over here, too.
Another one?
Yeah, it was over there.

I understand in this economy, you're going to find them eggs.
Where gas is.
The way gas is?
I don't pay for that electric, though.
That shit electric is free.
Yeah.
You got to make decisions now today.
Do you really want to go?
Or can you just show up on Zoom?
Hey, I'm so, we're so afraid they can cut the power grid off any moment around this.
They could.
They could.
I could.
I'd rather pay for the gas, Nick.
That's much faster.
I got, I got spare gas at three.
There's a whole adventure.
Dead ass.
The whole vacation.
You all think I'm lying?
I got to have a charge for a 45.
I got to have a charge of gas at home.
So you don't got to do all that.
Just plug that motherfucker up.
C case some shit go wrong.
A fast one, though?
Oh, no, we doomsday prepping around my way.
Yeah, you're good.
You good.
The only thing I ain't got yet is a bunker.

Is he going into that knife again already?
I don't know.
That nigga crazy, dog.

I said, nigg.
Be safe, ladies.
Do the rehab.
