So let's get into it. Warriors lost Jimmy Butler for the season with a torn ACL during their MLK day win over the heat. We're back in action Tuesday for the second night of a back-to-back against the Raptors. So before the game, Steve Kerr was asked about the prospects of Jonathan Cominga getting out of the doghouse and back into the Warriors' rotation. He could be. He could be, yeah. You know, he obviously hasn't played in a while. But, you know, at this point, we have to experiment a little bit with, see where we are, and he's definitely, you know, a part of that talk, that conversation.

Steve, to that point, you've talked to him, do you think he wants to be part of the rotation? Yeah. So you think he wants to play for you guys still right now? I do. Well, Kurt wasn't wrong. Kaminga played for the first time in 17 games. Damn. Send a message to his current team.

Let's take a look at the highlights if we can. So Minga didn't see the floor into the start of the second quarter with the Warriors down. 13 went scoreless in the five minutes he played in the first half. Caught fire in the third quarter, though, scoring 12 points while going four for five from the field, four for four from the line. Finish the game with 20 points on 7 to 10 shooting. Also had five rebounds in 21 minutes of action. Buddy Hill led the words with a season high 25 points off the bench.

But the Raptors put up a season high 145 points in the wire-to-wire win, leading by as much as 30 in the game. So we got to give some love to Emmanuel quickly, really quick. He matched his career high with 40 points on 11 to 13 shooting. He was 7 or 8 from deep, along with 10 assists. Quickly had the most efficient 40-point game in NBA history. I know you guys don't care about true shooting percentage, but was the most efficient 40-point game NBA history to do with that information,

which you will. Raptor snap the Warriors four-game winning streak. Let's shift back to Kaminga, though, has been the subject of discussion for some time now, giving his tumultuous relationship with the warrior. So after the game, Kerr had this to say about Comingus performance. He came in and had great energy, attacked the rim, made some shots. I thought JK was really good and it's a great sign.

You know, with Jimmy out, obviously there's a hole, you know, at that spot on our roster. So JK's going to, you know, factor in here again and really pleased with the way he stayed ready and stayed prepared and, you know, got his opportunity and played really well. Steve, did you know you were going to play Jonathan, maybe not that much, but you're going to play him tonight? Yeah. Did you know he was going to be prepared to play like this tonight? I, you know, it's been a month or so since he's played, and we haven't had any practices. So it's, you know, it's hard to have any idea, you know, how someone's going to play in that set of circumstances. But he was really good.

That's what Kurt said. Dremont also asked about Kamingas. We know Kaminga's teammates been extremely supportive of him throughout this whole process. Draman said, I think we've all been very vocal about how he's handled himself. He's been incredible, and that is proven by the game he had. If you've been a nuisance, if you will, that game doesn't happen for you. So start with you go. How impressive was Jonathan Kaminga's performance against the Raptors? not being a part of the rotation, couldn't can't fit the system. Through all that, he still went out there and played basketball, you know, the game he loves the most. I think I was talking about just the other day about when you're hearing rumors and when you're hearing things about certain situations, how are you going to react? And he's reacted at 23 years old in a professional way. If I'm a young guy, you know, you've got to look at that. Like they plan mind games with him. You know, he's been here, he's put into time and everything and he still goes out there and just perform him because he loves the game of basketball.

So shout out to Kaminga. You know, whenever his number is called, he shows that he's always going to be ready and available. Let's shift over this. So I saw your face while watching Steve Kerr in this press conference. Yeah, no, you got to get John the Kamika all the praise man in this moment. So, Mike Dunleavy, the world general manager, addressed the media on Tuesday as well to discuss Jimmy Butler and Jonathan comming his future with the team. Dunleavy said he envisions keeping Butler with the Warriors next season, not looking to try and trade with Willby his aspiring contract next season. and Dunleavy had this response to Kaminga's trade request. I mean, I think as far as the demand, I'm aware of that.

I think when you, you know, in terms of demands, when you make a demand, there needs to be demand on the market. So we'll see where that unfolds. But heard always with these guys, I tell them I'm willing to work with them, you know, want to help people out, whether that's JK or any player on our roster. So we're good with, you know, if that's his, wishes trying to figure that out but we got to do what's best for organization and that's what we'll do and as far as it goes with the deadline coming up you know I think we'll take the next

couple weeks to assess this team a little bit more I felt pretty good with where we're at heading in the last night's game in terms of what we need to do I thought our team was playing really well heading in the right direction obviously things have changed so I want to take a couple weeks here to watch these games and see our team and what we can do better what's the best for our organization.
