While we're here, we do have personal updates that we both have had. big dick visitors in our house. So I'll talk about mine and you can talk about yours. We already talked about mine. I don't want you to reveal too much, but I feel like for the past two episodes, we've talked about a guy and just you're hanging out with somebody and you'll let people

know if it gets more serious, but how did the weekend go and the fridge? He wasn't here. Oh, last week. Last week. Yeah, we did a good time. Okay. Yeah, that's all. How did he feel about the fridge?

We never went in the fridge. We didn't need one fucking meal here. We never opened the fridge. He wanted to take me out for every single meal. All he did. All he wanted to do was buy breakfast, buy lunch, buy dinner, by dinner for my friends. We didn't open that fridge one fucking time, okay? And I'm mad about it.

I'm super mad. I was sold a bunch of bullshit about how you got to get men food for your house. And you know what? You don't. Because what you should do is what I did, which is to make them take you out for every meal. 100%. The audacity of him wanting to buy you food. Okay.

I just, these two, these two dogs are, can I just send you? We're going to put up on the screen because I just have to send you this and just show you what they're doing and to show the audience. Rainer you're going to die. So I'm going to give an update. So I am fostering a dog for wags and walks, this senior 30-pound black pug named Zizu. And right now he's like asking Azul if he can get up on the couch. He's allowed to be up on the couch.

Like he's been on the couch. This giant dick has been resting on the couch. That is the smallest dog with the biggest dick. So I think it's just disproportionate. Like he's like a short king with a big dick. Because I don't think it's like it would be big on a medium or large size dog. Like, okay. So anyway, he is really sweet.

He's up for adoption, you guys. He's a sweet angel. You can adopt him. You can be like a girl's got to eat mascot, foster dog for you guys via wags and walks. You know what? I'm just going to do the link. to adopt him in our show notes this week. So if you guys are interested, and I just have loved having him. It's only day two, but he's just really easy. I walked them both this morning. I felt

like such a baddie walking them both at the same time. He's really spunky. I mean, he has a lot of energy for being eight years old. He's really funny. Him and Azul get along great. I think he would be great with a single person or with a couple or with a family with kids. I think he would be so fun with kids. And again, he's with Wags and Walks, L.A. And I've just had a really great experience. But yeah, I posted this story. And I did notice he had a big, like, he's like neutered. Obviously, that goes out same. But it's like, what is it?

Is it there scrotum? Like, wherever the dick is inside looked huge. You asked me, I've no way. I don't know how animals work, Ashley. So then Andrew Collin immediately responds to my Instagram story. Does that talk have the biggest penis ever? And then everyone else started coming in the DMs. And so I just had to post it to acknowledge it.

GGE. Okay, so we are going to kick it off with a celeb brand report. A lot going on. A real common theme of some. controversies with a lot of celebrity brands. This is like the most things we've had in one report, number of items. I know. And it's really fascinating to me when a celebrity slaps their name on a brand and how they

are involved in the brand. And you see a huge range of this all the way from like skims with Kim Kardashian, which is a wildly popular, successful brand, all the way to this, which brings us to our first report. Selena Gomez and her mom are accused of fraud over their mental health startup. So Selena Gomez and her mom, they start this company. It's called Wondermind. And it's supposed to be a wellness sort of multimedia company with podcasts and an app, a website,

writing, all these kind of things. And her mom has essentially been running this company. But investors were sold this story that Selena Gomez was going to be the head of marketing. And there's good reason to believe she would be heavily involved because Selena Gomez also owns Rare Beauty, which is a billion dollar company that is highly successful. And she's extremely involved in that company. But investors basically are saying they were defrauded. They were sold this idea that Selena Gomez was going to be like the head of marketing

for this company, which they poured in $1.2 million into this company and they're saying they were just misled. It's really interesting what sort of happened here. Basically, the people to work there are alleging that her mom really ran the company. And it was into the ground? Yeah. I mean, she was really hard to work with. She was like not reliable.

She was not reliable. They didn't actually ever produce this app that they said that they were going to produce. And all these things like were sold to them. They said we're going to come to fruition and weren't. And it's just sort of interesting, like, what companies tell investors a celebrity involvement will be in a brand. I mean, you couldn't actually possibly think that Selena Gomez, actress and singer, Selena Gomez is day-to-day going to be the head of marketing at a wellness.

Well, yeah. And again, like all the, her lawyers are saying this isn't true. This is what happened. Like, we don't know all the ins and outs. But it is interesting. We've talked to different investors over the years. and they hammer you with questions about your involvement. They've asked, what if you guys got in a fight?

Would you go to therapy? Like, we got asked if we were to want to break up, how would we repair our relationship to stay on and, like, run the company and promote the company? And I don't know, maybe the investors didn't ask all the right questions. Maybe this was like an Elizabeth Holmes situation. No, I'm just kidding. But, like, who's to say what really went down?

But again, her involvement with Rare Beauty should be the precedent of her involvement in her brands, but I guess that's not what was happening here. So who's to say? Ultimately, when you get a celebrity to sign onto a brand and put their name on it, which is what you're seeing with Alex Cooper. So this is, I'm going to tie these two together, but Alex Cooper announced that her beverage offshoot of Unwell, also called Unwell, which is a partnership with Nestle, which is a Gatorade-like brand, is shutting down after basically one year. And she put her name on this. And that's really, for the most part, I think what investors can expect when you, like, slughey.

clap your name on a brand that, like, celebrity is going to get you the initial trial. People are like, I like Alex Cooper, I listen to a show, I'll drink her fucking brand, whatever. But like, it is up to the company to make a good product. Like, rare beauty makes a good product. You have road that makes a great product and they're attached to Haley, um, Haley Bieber or skims with Kim Kardashian. You shouldn't expect that like this celebrity is attached to it day in and day out.

And if they're not, the company has to function on its own. It just depends. I think of all the brands. I think of base that I don't. even know if people know Shea Mitchell is involved. And also she's not like the biggest A-list or like a Kim Kardashian. Like that brand stands alone. I would drink Casamigos regardless of who owned it. It has nothing to do with a celebrity for me. Skims, skims, great products, would they be as popular if Kim wasn't so involved? What Kim Kardashian does for Skims is the top in terms of her level of fame

and how busy she is and how involved she is with Skims. She's a model for it, you know. So, So they've just done a great job and they have a great team, great CEO, obviously, same with good American. Again, I can't speak too much on the Selena Gomez thing because what she's done with rare beauty is so impressive. Alex Cooper, I mean, whatever you think of Alex Cooper, she is built in media empire. She's been extremely successful, whether you like or not. The valuation of unwell as a company as a whole was just valued at 500 million.

These are just facts. And we're allowed to try and fail at things. She started this thing. It doesn't matter if you have a huge following and all the resources. Sometimes it just doesn't matter. When Unwell, the beverage launched, I couldn't believe that's what they came up with with a product launch. I remember you and I, because the imagery of her at this boardroom and I'm entering the

conversation. And we thought something so fucking big and baller was happening. And it was a drink. Like in an oversaturated market, the single-use plastic with Nestle at Target, it felt like the most basic of basic money grabs. I feel like it wasn't elevated in any way. I think it was really smart in a lot of ways because you'll have the guest drinking it and the product placement of it all with the podcast network. Sure. And the name was, people think the name is so stupid because it's a drink that's supposed to make you well, but it's called unwell. I think it was tongue and cheek.

It doesn't really bother me. I didn't think the brandy was that great. I just couldn't picture people going to buy it no matter how much they love her. I mean, this is what we said from the very beginning. We were like, this was an odd choice. And I don't really know how much she committed to the brand. I don't follow her day and day out. I think she was pretty committed to promoting it. But now she's got so much going on. She's going to be a mom. I don't know. I don't think it was a great product. I think that some of the flavors, people say they tasted good. Others, they didn't. We tried one when we went and recorded with Harry Joussey. We liked it enough. I just never felt like that was a slam dunk, no matter whose name was on it. And the same with Lionel Messi. I mean, he launched a hydration

sports drink in June 2024 that just was discontinued in January 2026. This is even a woman versus men thing. I mean, he's an athlete that launched an athlete's most famous athlete alive on the planet. Of course. I just, my point is like it's a performance drink launched by an athlete. You know, like would Alex Cooper have done a better with an alcoholic drink? I just thought unwell was such an odd choice for them to really put their whole pussy into launching a product. And that was it. I just think it's so fascinating when you like slap the celebrities name on it's something like they can lead you to water and they'll bring you like audiences of millions of of people but like the product has to be good and like to me this is not a failure of like Alex

Cooper in any way like you said her business is valued at $500 million she's doing great it's just I don't think women we're going to buy this product I don't think people are going to go back for this product I mean it tastes like Gatorade to me it's Gatoried so those are two but there's still more tea with these celebrity so this is actually a big fraud story and it might get even bigger. So, okay, Phoebe Gates, daughter Bill Gates, she has a company called Fia with Sophia Kiani. And it's a plugin for your computer. It allows you to comparison shop prices. And basically how they make their money is through these plugins, they'll compare a couple things for you. And if you click on the link for that thing and you buy it, they get affiliate

like money. So they get a percentage of the purchase from the websites. And that's how they make their money. So basically what is being alleged is they were doing something called cookie stuffing. And what that means... Which honestly is a term I've never heard, but we have all been there at a dessert table at the bed. We've all cookie stuffed. I thought you meant like my cookie was stuffed. I'm picturing putting cookies in my bag.

Literally, we went to this movie the other night and the cookies were free. Why did I put three cookies in my purse? Actually, you love cookies. I'd be cookie stuffing. Why did my brain go pussy? I thought vagina. Okay. Okay.

Anyway, so... You know, she's horny, everybody. Okay, anyways, moving on. So they're alleging that they were doing this thing called cookie stuffing, which is that they were taking affiliate link money for purchases that did not originate from their company. So basically that they, if you opened up another browser that had nothing to do with their app or their URLs or whatever, and you just like, I don't know, went to like Eritzia and bought a shirt, that they would also get credit for that.

And Phoebe Gates and her partner were saying this was just a fluke. It was an accident. We were made aware of it. we fixed it. And now people have gone back into their company communication. It realized for seven months they have known about this. And there is email communications proving that. And this is a big no-no. This is bad. You're not supposed to do that. This is a bad one. Yeah. Yeah, because I just listen. I'm not a cookie expert. I know cookies are a little confusing and the way they track you. And obviously, if we post a link for something to buy for you guys on Revolve or Quince and you don't

buy that same thing, what you do buy also gives a commission back to the person who posted the link. I mean, I think that's not a hot take. But so it's just, I don't know, it's like you take that and you multiply it with some room for error. I could see how this could happen and it could be like, oopsie, but it sounds like they knew about it and they were like, let's just keep stuff in these cookies. Let's let it roll. And here's why this is significant.

So the company raised $43.5 million. dollars. It was valued around almost $200 million. So they're basically saying like this is the money that we're generating and it's falsified records. Okay. Well, that's your cookie stuffing update. You guys. Let's end on another food-related note with Bethany Frankel's chicken salad pop-up. Is that right? Is that correct? Or does she just sell chicken salad? Okay. Well, tell me. So Bethany Frankel opened something called Supermodel Cafe in the Hamptons. Obviously she did. Yeah, obviously. I mean, Skinny Girl Supermodel.

She's not letting it go. I mean, you know, we have leaned out as a society to the skinny girl stuff, but she's leaned back in. And, you know, she was doing all of these on the way up to being in the Sports Illustrated, like swimsuit, catwalk thing. She was eating all these what she called Supermodel snacks, which were just kind of like low-cal, high-protein type of things. And then she also reviews all these chicken salads.

I don't know. We used to like her. We've sort of leaned out. But, you know, whatever. I'm not really a fan. I'm not rushing to the Supermodel cafe. So anyway, she opened it this weekend. And I don't know. I saw some reviews. It looks fine. It's a pop up in the Hamptons. I don't know if it's a pop up, but I mean, it is inside of a store, whether or not this is going to be long term or not. But it is there. It is certainly a grocery store.

So immediately, what, their overcapacity violations. Southampton officials said violations were being issued. There's a yellow warning. All these things happened. And I'm not a fan of Bethany, but I think this is a funny flex that it was overcapacity. She's like, they tried to shut us down. We're going to keep going. I guess there was a stop work order. I wish someone would issue us a stop work order. I'm tired of working. I love stop work. Hands up.

I will. Actually, I try to get you to stop working all the time. All the time. You're like, I've been working all day. And I'm like, do not answer another email. Just enjoy your life. Enjoy your husband. And the food he makes for you.

And you're like, you know what I'm going to do at 10.30 at night? I'm going to be talking to you about emails. You've never. stop working. All I'm ever trying to do is stop work. That is fair. Raina is my work cop. And I'm just ignoring these stop work orders. Last night was so funny, Ashley. Last night at 1030, you were like, I'm going to, we need to decide on this email. And I was like, great, my work hours are over, but I'll respond in the morning. 30 seconds later. I'm just going to respond right now. I just really want to get on it right. It was time sensitive. Okay. Anyway, so more than 700 people

came out for this chicken salad, or sorry, for the opening, but then the chicken salad sold out. and then the whatever all this drama happened it's just like a funny thing you know just whatever let or cook i guess i'm sure the chicken salad was bomb i will give her credit there i better be good i mean for all the shit she talks on chicken salad i mean nothing will ever be era one chicken salad it's the greatest chicken salad ever created my favorite chicken salad is a place called lorries in rehobith beach you had it but it's not for everybody it's it's so good it has blue cheese it's not overpowering but if you hate blue cheese you wouldn't like it but it is so so good lorries cafe their tuna salad is amazing too. Bobby Westside, he is a trainer, he is

an incredible app called Adonis. We've talked about him a lot before. He's been a part of the girls got to eat, family, and our close personal friend for a long time. And he is a personal trainer. And again, he has this app, but he used to be an instructor at Flywheel. That's how I met him when he was at Flywheel and he was also at Berries. And recently, he has done a complete public takedown of Berries. And I go to Barry's. I have been very vocal about it. And I think it is a great workout. Obviously, he used to work there as well. People love berries. But basically, he puts out this video. It's nine minutes and it goes viral, which is a feat in of itself, because the Algo will not help you out with a video over three minutes. I did a video not too long

ago on a darker note. And Instagram was like, we're not going to caption this for you. We're not going to show it to anybody. And it did pretty well, but they really don't put stuff out there that long. So I just want to acknowledge him for that. But he talks about, they sent him company-wide to all full-time and part-time employees, some let's get aligned on some things, new rules and regulations, and there was a new non-compete that was buried in all of these other things.

Hello, good day. Let's just get right into it today. The non-compete that Barry's just rolled out for its full-time and part-time instructors nationwide is an absolute disgrace. He calls out the CEO by name. I mean, it really is just like a public dragging. And they basically are saying,

you can't work with anybody else. Like you can't work at any other gym. I mean, they name everything from treadmill-based running, walking, of course, cycling, step machine, rowing, hit kettlebell, boot camp, boxing, crossfit, circuit training. All of this, you basically can't work anywhere else. And the trainers there are maybe Bobby cited making like 70, 80K a year. And for the price of rent in major cities, where Barry's boot camp, if you guys aren't familiar, also there's less than 100 locations, but they are in major cities.

So you're talking L.A., Chicago, New York, Atlanta, places where the price of rent is extremely high. And 70K, you can live on 70K, I guess, but a company should not be stepping in and limiting your ability to make more money. And to be fair, most of these other companies do allow their trainers to go work at other companies and to also take on private clients. So they are saying boxing, CrossFit, hit workouts. You can't do any of it. And this would make sense to me, by the way, if you're a Peloton instructor, you're highly tied to the brand. So you're somebody like Tunei or Cody Rigsby or Alex Toussaint who are heavily tied to a brand. And you're making more.

You're making a lot of money. It would be insane to see one of those people teaching a Barry's boot camp class because those are full-time jobs. They have a ton of classes that they teach whatever. This is sort of like, I guess, unheard of that a full-time instructor would not be able to teach at F-45 or other places like this. It's really egregious. And yes, to your point, like, Balaton instructors do make more. That's really tied to their personal brand. And so Bobby would, again, he worked at Flywheel and Barry's at the same time.

This is a newer non-compete. And I asked him, just to clarify, I was like, when you worked a flywheel, you couldn't work at Soul Cycle. He was like, correct. That is a direct competitor. And so I get if you're a brand that you're like, you can't work at these two other places. But the video was very funny because he says that Barry cites their direct competitors as Orange Theory and F-45.

And he's like, you guys don't know your customer at all, which I just think it's very funny. like Bobby has found his calling in this type of content. He is so well-versed and so smart about it. He has all the receipts. He doesn't give a fuck. You know when you see your friend in their true flow state? Like this is Bobby's true calling is to do this type of content. Like everyone's like, do this brand next.

I think people want more. I mean, he also really dove into flywheel and the things they did really great before they shut down. I mean, people are in the comments like, do solid court. You know, they really wanted to get into this with other brands. But the Barry's thing just, it went. pretty viral and there was, Barry's made this statement of like,

we're going to, we're listening, you know, and it really didn't, of course they did, you know, and it was just kind of all bullshit and this made waves in, internationally.

Barry's instructors have done their own personal statements. I've seen instructors I take here in LA posting things that are like, they're not going to drag the company they work for. That's how they make money. They want to keep their classes. And so they're trying to tow the line too. I mean,

every trainer should hate this and feel victimized by it. I mean, and this is just part of, of a bigger problem with corporate greed. Like you've got to let people make a living and you have to invest in the people that work for you. Like Bobby's take is Barry's just wants to expand and please their investors and they do not give a fuck any longer about their instructors or they would pay them more or they wouldn't

make this non-compete as strict. It's crazy. It's crazy. And there's so it's to get to put into perspective for you guys, there's like 89 locations of Barry's boot camp. F-45 has almost 800 locations, and Orange Theory has 1,300. So there's not even, if these people want to work more, if they want to work at more studios, there's less availability for them to even do that.

Most trainers take on all these personal clients. They do boxing gyms. They do hit workouts. And lastly, to your point, Barry's trainers, it is not their personal brand the way it is for Peloton. So if they're not front-facing, if they're not representing the company in commercials the way Peloton is, why would you stand in their way of making money? And if you are going to pay them a lot more, if you are going to pay them 50% more, if they are making closer to like a 120, 1.30, I understand it more too.

I was talking to Bobby this morning about this. And that's one of his points too is like you're really hurting these people and their ability to make a living. And I think it even said, I mean, you can go watch Bobby's nine minute video, but you can't train more than like four clients at a time. So you couldn't even have, be like a trainer with a group setting of your own. It really just feels like a personal attack on the people. who were responsible for the success of the company.

Well, if you guys are in fitness, you want to be a personal trainer. Bobby Zapp, Adonis, is amazing. And you guys can look into it if you want to find a personal trainer or you are a personal trainer and you want to match with the client. This is not a paid ad. But we just, we love what they're doing. And he doesn't stand in anybody's way to compete and go work with other brands. So check that out if you guys need a trainer or you are a trainer.

Yeah. And like, I want to see if anything else comes a bit. And if they walk this back, which they should. You know, I still want to go to Barry's. I want them to realize this was a mistake. And I want them to listen and walk this back. Watch this space, you know? Watch this space.

Yeah. So we are going to change gears a little bit and talk about Hayden Panetteer, who passed away at the age of 36 on Sunday was when this news broke. And it's been a little cagey with the cause of death. She's had a lot of struggles with mental health, substance abuse, alcoholism. She really became. famous at a super young age. You know, I really just, I feel for people that were thrust into the spotlight at that age, you could not possibly have normal coping mechanisms. There's just no way. And when she had

her daughter years ago, she experienced really serious problems of postpartum. She lost custody of her daughter. And she has fought her way back, hopefully, to sobriety. She did this interview with Jay Shetty two months ago, where she talked about in her memoir that she was putting out that somebody really famous in Hollywood. She'd essentially been on a yacht one day. There was a woman. on the yacht that had sort of lured her into the bedroom with this man. She did not name him. She said somebody very, very famous in Hollywood. And essentially, she was put there to sleep with him.

And she ended up kind of escaping and hiding on a part of the boat until the boat had docked. But she made this allegation. This interview with Cheshetti came out. And this memoir was sort of imminent, right? Yeah. The memoir came out in May. Okay. And then the interview was around the same time.

I don't know. Got it. Got it. But, yeah, all this was just within the past few months. It's a really sad state. There are, you know, certainly conspiracy theories as to what happened here. But she was so young, it's so tragic, it's so sad to see something like this and somebody who struggled so much for so long as well and was trying to get their life together and get their daughter back

and all these things. Yeah, this is like such a heartbreaking loss. I mean, this is someone who we have seen on our screens for me since Remember the Titans. She was such a talent. She was so beloved. She was an animal rights activist, among other things. Alyssa Milano just posted this really beautiful tribute to her and all of her activism. And she just seemed like a really beautiful soul and someone who was deeply sad.

I mean, if you watch her Jay Shetty interview, Tamara Hall, I saw a interview recently, she just seems, I hate to call someone broken, but she seems really like she's been through so much, but is still such a fighter and was still so open and honest with her life and her struggles. Collectively, everyone is taking this so hard because of that. And it's just, it's not sitting right with my spirit. it, I will say. I mean, I guess she reconnected with an abusive ex. She was found in hotel room in Greenville, South Carolina, apparently a drug overdose, cardiac arrest. And this is right on the heels of her exposing predators and abuse in Hollywood. Yeah. I mean, this is, it feels like the

timing. I mean, this is giving Aaron Carter, among others, and people who have died and it just feels suspicious. And I am not a conspiracy theorist typically. You know, I understand people are really hurting, and I understand people take their own lives, and they overdose on drugs. I mean, I had a friend commit suicide earlier this year. It was hard to grasp for someone who he was, of someone who was so kind, always so happy, so it seemed, and took his own life. And, like, we all had to accept that.

Like, I know this happens. You know, I want to tread so lightly. This isn't like, this isn't what happened. But it's really suspicious. And I feel like that's what a lot of people are saying and the timing of it. at all. It's like you really start to speak out and like I am going to share my truth and talk about what happened to me in Hollywood and what my life was like being famous at a young age and you die. Absolutely. And it just feels like the math is not mathing, you know. So it's just so,

so heartbreaking. And yeah, I mean, she had given up custody of her kid. But what her, her, the father of that child, like he was with her. He was 30. She was 19. You know, just various things like that are just upsetting. It's just upsetting all around. And I don't want to go too deep on like all my thoughts about Hollywood and Epstein and all these things. But we have to be able to make these correlations. I mean, that really is all there is to say about her. Our condolences go out to her family and her daughter. Yeah. It's a, it's a real loss. I went and saw Tony this week, which is the Anthony Bourdain biopic. I loved it. I mean, I always think in these biopics, like how are they going to pick a part of somebody's life to explore? And if you guys read Kitchen Competential. It opens up with basically this chapter of Anthony Bourdain, going to work at his first restaurant in Provincetown. And that's not entirely a true story in the biopic. They alleged that he like follows this girl there, blah, blah, blah. Really, it was like his high school sweetheart that he married. It was for 30 years. But I really loved it. He means so

much to me. His books mean so much to me. Everywhere I've truly traveled in my 20s and 30s, I watched no reservations and I went to every one of those places. And he really, the way he treated people, the way he saw women's rights, the way he saw minorities' rights and the world, it is just, it's really something I hope to emulate. He really just fought for people to come together, see each other in a more positive light, especially through the lens of food. He just means a lot to me. So I recommend the movie.

It's an hour and 46 minutes, which is a dream. Okay. And if you guys see it, the last, like, minute of the movie has somebody in it that I just, like, didn't know it was going to be in the movie. I burst into tears. The lights came on. I was crying when the movie came out. Oh, my gosh.

So embarrassing. But it is somebody from his real life that I thought was, like, a beautiful addition to the movie. And he just met so much to me, I'm rereading Kitchen Confidential, which is funny because it came out in 2000 or 2001. And it's so interesting reading books about the food world of the restaurant industry, because, like, this predates all food content. Like, Top Chef didn't exist.

Social media didn't exist. So it's interesting to just read about the restaurant world in general. I loved it. Go see it. Great movie. Great acting. Casted so perfectly. It's really, really great. Yeah, I love him. When we got back from Singapore, we started watching some old parts unknown episodes and obviously he's such a fan, such an inspiration. But more importantly, thank you for saying biopic. It is time to open up this discussion because you ashamed me for this before. And I feel like I have finally found enough community privately to speak out and share my truth publicly, which is that I say biopic. And I'm not the only one. And this is the

correct adult, sophisticated pronunciation, biopic, biography, biopic. And listen, I don't care what the internet says. I don't care what's correct. But there are people out there like me that are saying biopic, like my opic, and I'm done being ashamed of it. Who are these people? Show me one of the, where is the community? There is a community on threads.

I've seen it. And you know, the reason how this started where I realized I wasn't the only one, when I did my, Are You Okay, Man on the Street interview with the host. spriana, she said who would play you in a biopic. Oh, sorry, biopic. And I'm like, did you just say biopic? That's crazy. And I was like, I say that too. And we're like, oh my God. And so then I was like, okay, I got one. There's one person on my side. And then I found some threads on the internet, again, on threads. And people say this. And it's fine. You can say I'm wrong, but I at least want to share my truth and say that if you naturally want to say biopic, you are not alone.

Okay, there's a couple things. People say colab, which I hate for collaboration. And that is wrong. That's not the, but okay, like when you say like Lincoln bio, like that's still biography and it's still bio. So it's biopic. It's fine. But I see what you're saying. Biography, biopic. Yeah, I just at least want some validation that I'm not the only one and I want some support. And it's just, it's one of those things. That's where my head goes. And I just was glad I was not alone. Okay. Can I? Can I ask you a question? I've been talking to somebody new, and he keeps saying, I don't even know why this word keeps coming, ornery. But he says it, honorary.

And I'm like, don't correct him, Rina. Don't be like this. You're being a little honorary? Like Zizu's being a little honorary? Honory. And I'm like, I will nitpick so many things. I have to like pick my battles and this can't be one of them. But it's not honorary, right?

It's ornery. Are you sure? In context, you're sure he's trying to say ornery? Why are you guys talking about being ornery? It's like kids and dogs. I don't know. He says weird stuff. I don't know.

He said, you were being a little honorary? He's like, Rainy, why are you being a little honor? Are you? I need, I need like a whole son. He thinks I'm so sweet, which is crazy. Like your husband thinks you're patient. Raina's biggest regret for my wedding is when Shishon said I was patient for her not to stop him in the middle of his vows and say, raise your hand if you think Ashley's patient.

I know you still sit with you. I think about it every day. I just. Okay. Okay. Well, there's no really no discussion about honest. Honorary or ornery, and you're going to have to check him on that sooner than later. But please leave a comment if you guys also want to say biopic.

This is the best season of tires. It is so funny. I love it. I guess they got a bigger budget. They're filming outside the shop this season, and they're doing all kinds of stuff outside the shop. It has made me laugh so hard. It's like the office filmed in a mechanic shop.

It's very funny. So if you guys want a rack, that's my rack. I started it, and this is actually in the preview on Netflix, but Shane does this monologue about you start to date somebody and you have to go on vacations and you have to go to restaurants. He's like, fucking restaurants. And she just wants to take a picture of a $100 plate of pasta. And then you have to do engagement photos and show all your boys that this woman has you by the balls. And then you get married.

And all she does is have you take out the trash and kill spiders. And like, I literally Shishonk and I look at each other like, damn. It's true. No, we, he loves restaurants. But it was like a funny moment between couples because like he does take out the trash and kill spiders. And it's just like a funny rant from Shane. Yeah. It's, I mean, I think he's just so funny.

The show's amazing. So if you guys just want somebody to watch this week, that's my pick. My pick is Sterling Point. I'm sure most of you guys have already watched it. This is like one of the number one shows. This is on a prime video. And I spoke about it last week. So it's an if you know, you know, if you're watching, you're watching. I did misspeak on a theme of the show last week about the mom. Whatever. I would only see one episode. So you guys know where I got that from. But I just want to speak on the show because I find it so fascinating. This is the most realistic natural dialogue I have seen in a long time, maybe ever. And I realized it as I was watching it. I was like it feels like this is how. people in general actually talk, but especially young people of this age. And like, they'll say like and they'll flub a word. And it just feels really natural. And when they get kind of worked up and there's this one scene where the star of the show Ella Rubin, who was just such a queen, is talking about getting her period and her mom and her dad. And I'm like, God, that's so good. This is how people really talk. And so I looked into it in Megan Park, who created this,

The headline in a Hollywood reporter is why Megan Park's Y.A. series trades tired tropes for a refreshing dose of realism. But she said she wanted to make it feel as authentic as possible. And she just let them riff. Like they had a script, but she was like, go off script, talk how you normally talk. And I don't think that's happening a lot. And they really did that. And it is so refreshing and so fun to watch. And I think people who've watched it know this that you're watching it. Like, why is this feel so real? And I love to know that she was like, make it feel real. talk how you want to talk. There was a point where I was like they flubbed that, but because you would do that in real life. I mean, there's nothing that will make me turn a show off quicker than dialogue that does not reflect how people speak. And it's just corny and no one talks like that. So thank God for this.

So I just, I love this show. It's a beautiful show. There's this montage in the last episode that is just like her and her mom. It's kind of a dream sequence type thing. And it just will rip your heart out. and the acting is so incredible. And Ella Rubin is like a true star. She will be one of the greatest stars of our lifetime.

People are comparing or even looks wise to Anne Hathaway, who she played in Hathaway's daughter and the idea of you. They really do look similar to 90s, Julia Roberts, Sondra Bullock. I mean, she's just an incredible talent. I love this show. So Sterling Point, I can't wait for season two. The way it ends, you're like really dying to see season two. So that's my pick.

Okay, well, we have another recommendation as we roll into headlines. So your headlines for the week. Court of Thorns and Roses, which is Sarah J. Mass's just mega hit, the biggest bestselling series, like the history of time or something like that. She revealed the titles and the covers of the next two books in a series, and people didn't know that this was coming. So the very next one will be coming out in October and then following that, I think January is the next one that's going to come out. So October and then January, people are like losing their minds about it. It's fairy books. It's It's a fantasy series.

I read the first three or four. I don't know. It got a little monotonous to me. Like, I started to feel like I've sort of like read this, but it's really sexy. It's, you know, it's escapism. It's great. The writing's good. People love it so much.

So you really don't see this too back-to-back books. I mean, Harry Potter, when we got new, I'm really dating myself, when the last book of Harry Potter came out, I think I was a senior in college. And we like went and waited in line. But, like, those books took, what, a year? years to come out, right? Mm-hmm. This is surprising.

I saw the headline. I was like, two? Double feature? Yes, we've been heavily gifted. Go off, queen. So look out for that in the fall. Okay, so next headline, we have Carl Anthony Towns,

Mary's Jordan Woods, in a star-studded Malibu wedding. This was right down the street for me. And just everyone was there. I mean, Justin Haley Bieber, Kylie and Timothy Chalame, which I'd love to see Kylie there because, you know, they were best friends,

and then they had their rift for obvious reasons. And she was there and just, So many stars were out and we have seen all of these photos. And I just want to rant for a minute. I am so tired of seeing drone picks of weddings specifically. It feels so invasive to me. And Raina's going to put her lawyer hat on and explain. But I don't understand how you can take drone photos of a private wedding at a private residence or event space.

and take fucking photos for one and then sell them. And I mean, I don't know every state's laws, but in California, it is illegal. It's an invasion of privacy to hover over a place and take photos with a drone. Like, I can't believe this. I mean, what if you want to fly your own drone at your wedding? What if you want the aerial shot of the dip

that's not on page six? What if your drone crashed into the paparazzi's drone, right? I would kill a bitch. Like, there's just so many different aspects of this. and I can't understand it and I'm getting so heated, but I'm sick of seeing these. They're really giving me the ick. I don't need to see these. I don't, the one of Taylor Swift at that wedding.

And like Jordan and Kat, by the way, we haven't talked about the wedding. The wedding looked beautiful. She looked beautiful, happy for them. I love them as a couple. They gave out these favors. It said married in five sweatsuits because Nixon five. They've been together for five years. Like, I love them.

I love the Kylie. I love all the things. But I'm so fucking sick of seeing these photos. And I know we've always had long lens, invasive, paparazzi photos, which I also hate too, but the wedding specifically and knowing that drones are flying overhead and then these photos are getting sold. How is this fucking legal? Okay, so I will tell you, I'll take you through how it's legal and what is and isn't legal. I'll say, I'm not totally sick of it. I mean, I do like looking at the photos. I am part of the, I loved looking at Kylie's dress. I'm like,

I can't believe we get to see this. This is crazy. But shouldn't we build it? We'll see it eventually, right? Like, I mean, and that's what makes so much sense about Taylor Swift game married to MSG, truly the most locked down fucking place, good for her. I don't think there's another place she could have done. Truly. The minute people started floating those rumors, I was like, this is true. I know it's true. There's no other place she could have done this.

You need to be in a fort. So, okay, I'll explain this to you guys. I'll give you sort of the boilerplate and then I'll explain it a little more. Illegally obtaining a photo and illegally publishing a photo are two different things. So people do have a reasonable expectation for privacy. Photos that are legal to obtain is like, you know, if you're walking outside of a church, photographers are outside. paparazzi you're outside, they take a photo of you. If you were in a private space, private property,

you have a reasonable expectation that somebody's not going to fly a drone over your space and take photos. That is not legal. And you can litigate that. If they want to sue people, they can sue people. However, illegally publishing the photos, it's a totally different thing. So there's two questions. Was it legal to take the photo? Was it legal to publish it? If you fly a drone over somebody's private wedding, and that's probably illegal. However, if you sell that photo to a publication, the publication now has to prove that they didn't obtain that illegally, that they didn't know that these were obtained illegally. So basically the burden of proof falls on the publication. And they could just be like, we just got it somewhere.

We didn't know it was illegally taken. We didn't know. And then republishing those photos is legal. So if People Magazine gets those photos from a photographer publishes them, anybody else that takes those photos, 100% legal, cannot be sued for anything. Yeah, this is like less of my question. I get it. People page six, I care less about them publishing it. It's more just like how are these paparazzi's flying these drones and selling these photos? Like are they just getting sued all the time, but it's worth it? That's my question. I don't understand how it even gets to this point where publications are able to buy them. Oh, no, then it's not, no, it's not legal. So what's happening? Are they just getting sued and they're paying the fines? Is no one is, is it just like fine? Sue. us then. Like, is that what's happening? Imagine you're at your wedding and somebody's flying a drone. How are you going to figure out who's flying that drone? You'd have to send people out all over the earth to figure out like who those people were and where they were. But when the photos get published,

you can trace them back. It was illegal to take them. So why are we not suing people? You know, like I'm, I don't know. I think I would make an example out of somebody. So you can. They just aren't. I just think people aren't. And I think it is what it is situation. Absolutely not. I'll spend my, the rest of my fucking marriage suing people who took. took drone photos. California specifically has more strict laws than other states because of the volume of celebrities that live there and paparazzi. Yes, you could spend your time suing these people. Absolutely. And if you actually got your hands on that photographer and you figured out that they flew a drone over your wedding, yeah, you could absolutely sue them for invasion of privacy.

But you can find out who they are. That's what it's, it's not some secret undercover dark web thing. It's like they're taking these photos and they're selling them. That's why I think is so crazy that you're something illegal and then you're profiting off of it? I feel like my question is still our answer. No, but your answer is that yes, of course, Kat and Jordan could find out of these photographers are and sue them. A hundred percent you could. I just think this happens so much that everybody would spend all their time in court. Yes, should somebody make an example out of these people? Yes, but it wouldn't stop. It's like cockroaches, you know? Like you step on one, there's just hundreds more. Yeah. And I mean, again, I don't know what you can do if someone's just illegally

flying a drone over your property. Like I'm calling the fucking police. Like I just think I wouldn't be able to let this go. Shoot it. Like I would have to make an example out of someone 100% blow it up. But my question for you is, do you think that these celebrities like ever do see some of these photos? They're like, can you send me that? Because it is the way they got the dip from the drone.

Like, again, I'm flying my own drone with that kind of money and I'm going to get every shot. But it's like very funny. Do you think they see those photos? They're like, oh, they got the shot. I think they're really high up and I think they're blurry. Like they're never great. photos. They're not. I think a lot of these people actually hire like real. So like there's federal aviation laws that will prevent people. So like Ryan who shot your wedding, he was like joking

with me about bringing a drone, but it's not legal. Yeah. There's that too. There's that too in certain spaces. You can't even actually fly a drone. And then that's what I'm saying. Then you fucking call the cops. Okay. We got to move on this. Fucking call the cops. Thank you for putting your lawyer hat on. You know what I think is very funny is like of the two of us, I'm the doctor. You're the lawyers. I was thinking about that. 100%. I really did a lot of legal work today about like Fia and call her daddy that drink. You did.

I mean, I've just, there's been a lot of information for me for the day. Okay. Well, another headline Caroline Levitt, the press secretary, Donald Trump's press secretary, pathological liar, extraordinaire, just overall toxic human being is out. She is leaving at the month's end. And she recently had a baby. There's speculation on why she was leaving.

Raina will explain one of the theories. But people are saying that she's, she just wants to focus on her family and maybe she's sick of lying and sick of being part of our criminal democracy. Well, people are speculating that basically Trump and a number of members of people who worked from, they were in Turkey. and they were all on this plane.

They were worried that something like terrible was going to happen. And so allegedly Trump sneaks off the plane in a catering truck is escorted to another plane and all these other members of the, I don't know, his staff, just other dog shit, piece of shit, liars. Like Karen Leavitt were left on the plane as a decoy. And people are speculating that she quit because she was left on this plane as a decoy while he ran away in like some sandwich cart. This happens.

I mean, this is, this is, that tale is old of. time that political figures, people that are really famous, are, you know, ushered away somewhere else in some other way. But people are saying, not always in a pointless war that they started, but yeah. Totally. No, no, no, no. Just like other reasons, you know. I don't know. It's hard for me to really think that, like, that would break the damn. She's seen him do such terrible stuff. I don't know why, like, this would matter. Okay. Well, we don't know who's going to replace her, but I have some options for you. I want to hear what you think. So I say this all the time. I miss Trump 1.0 staff every day. I miss that presidency compared to what it is now. Every day. I miss it.

And so where there was actually people around him who had been in politics, who had somewhat of a conscience, some of them. So if you could replace Caroline Levin with someone from Trump 1.0, here's my three. Okay. Sean Spicer. Never forget, Sean Spicer, who's on Dancing with the fucking stars. Okay.
