Starting point is 00:00:00 Welcome to The Snack, a lighter serving of Girls Got to Eat. This is a Dear Media production. Enjoy. Hi. Hi. Thursday. It's almost over, you guys. The week.
Starting point is 00:00:14 Raina is wearing her horse girl gear. So I'm wearing a horse. Look at that horse. Look at that horse. I'm wearing a long sleeve tea, which I also don't I really identify with. I don't think. Pajama jeans. Well, that's why I recorded now.
Starting point is 00:00:27 Every two weeks. They're my comfy jeans. But I don't really identify with long sleeve teas. I don't think I've owned one since I was. 12. That's a good one. Yeah, I like it. It's over. Sleeve is huge. That is the biggest sleeve. I think it's waving in the wind. I think it's immense. It looks like a flag. I love a long sleeve tea and I love a crop long sleeve tea. Hard to come by. I can't wear crops. My boobs are too big. A long sleep. I love a crop. I know. I'm wearing a card again. You are wearing a card. And buy shorts. You were like exercise on the bottom. No, party on the top. Guess what? In 2021, I started the
Starting point is 00:01:03 trend. And I'll pull the receipt. And I said, I'm wearing bike shorts and cardigans, everybody. I'll pull it. I was in the Hamptons. I remember taking a picture. A crop cardigan. No, I like it. You're going to work out on the bottom. You're going to interview Kamala on the top. Yeah. You don't have to dress up to interview Kamala as we. Apparently you don't. You can go as I am. I also wanted to just say that his all got a haircut. And if you guys noticed, if you want to, he looks very spelt. He looks skinny. Must be nice to just get a haircut and lose 20 pounds. It looks like a different dog. Anyway, maybe he'll stand up, you guys can get a full body shot.
Starting point is 00:01:36 No. We'll put one on YouTube. Okay. A full body shot. A full body shot of this dog. No, because when he gets a haircut, he looks like so different. I know. He looks a little stuffed animal.
Starting point is 00:01:48 Yeah. He looks very cute. All right. Let's thank some of our partners. Thanks to buy optimizers. Get your magnesium breakthrough and find out this month's gifts with purchase at bioptimizers. com slash girls got to eat. And hand in stone, get free aromatherapy with your introductory facial
Starting point is 00:02:03 at handenstone.com with code gge. And thanks to Vaya, get 15% off with code GGE and check the link in our episode description and use code GGE and skims. Shop skims bras at skims.com. I just want to say. Okay. There's been a lot of breakup rumors that have come across our desk this week. And you guys are probably like, are you guys going to address them? Stack of paperwork metaphorically on the desk about breakups.
Starting point is 00:02:31 I mean, Austin Butler, Kanye Webb. A couple other people. I feel bad at it. A couple other people. Crazy stuff. Al Pacino. She's back out there. No, we're going to do a full breakup report next week because we want to actually find out
Starting point is 00:02:44 what's true. And we're in the middle of pitching some of these women to come on the show. Yeah, exactly. So there's a couple I won't even mention. And I don't want to manifest their breakups into the world. I want to manifest these day together. Right. Not Kanye.
Starting point is 00:02:55 I want him to be unhappy. But of course. But it is breakup season. We were just looking back. We did an episode October 4th, 2021. why is everyone breaking up? And it's been like that every October. You got to tell them what happened next.
Starting point is 00:03:08 So we were just looking back and running the tape. I was like, what am I seeing? So we did an episode on October 4th, which means we recorded it end of September the week prior called Why is Everyone Breaking Up? And then a mere week later, October 11th, we dropped an episode and Raina and her boyfriend had broken up. In that week, they broke up. I was like, Raina, wait.
Starting point is 00:03:32 Did we really put on an episode about breaking up and not mention your breakup and you were like, we hadn't broken up? Which is crazy. It is the epitome of like if everybody else is jumping off a bridge, would you? It's like, yeah, everyone's single now. I'm trying to get it popping. Obviously, the breakup was in the works, but it was the timing is crazy. It's crazy to put out an episode.
Starting point is 00:03:53 Oh my God, everyone's breaking up, all our friends, all the celebrities in the next week, you're like, and me. It's crazy. I was so on trend. He just wanted me to pay for like one more vacation before we broke up. We had a vacation planned. You did. That vacation was,
Starting point is 00:04:11 I was sitting there. It was just like a weekend getaway trip. Not like you guys went to like Aruba, but like it was still nice. It was at Gurneys in Newport, which is just the best I highly recommend. And I remember sitting there at dinner at a Dandria outside COVID tent, outside COVID shelter on the street. and with Jackie and Meryl and it was like you were about to go on like a make or break
Starting point is 00:04:37 like I was like I think not to be pessimistic I think it's break it's break for me We did not have sex on that trip I'll tell you what I got really drunk and I acted crazy and we broke up And yes I feel like at the dinner
Starting point is 00:04:49 It was like that was you know You were giving it one more I knew he was gonna call I was gonna give him one more vacation Yeah breakup trip That is so funny It's like a baby moon but not Jokes on me.
Starting point is 00:05:02 Okay, can I just say one thing? Rana, I have all week just been thinking about the Zamboni. And I know everyone, basically last week I said I didn't know what a Zamboni is. You could watch the moment. It's on Instagram. It's on TikTok. Obviously, YouTube and like the comments are just like, Ashley, what? And I just have been thinking about it nonstop.
Starting point is 00:05:23 You don't know what a Zamboni is. Yes. And everyone else does. I don't know how you've, I don't know how you've lived this long. You don't know what it is. And everyone was like, oh, Ashley, I guess you haven't seen the movie Ice Princess. I'm like, no, I have not. I don't know what that is.
Starting point is 00:05:35 But I don't know what that is. But maybe I'm a little old for it. You don't watch Mighty Ducks? They said Zamboni and Mighty Ducks. Absolutely. What else do you talk about? I'm sorry, but it's crazy that it is a wild word. It starts with a Z.
Starting point is 00:05:48 It has an ony. And I've just never picked up on it. I have watched hockey movies. But I will say my whole childhood, ice skating was very exotic and foreign to me. Like one girl ice skating. my whole town and she had to like go up to like the university of Delaware rink like ice skating was not a thing where I grew up like in Smyrna Delaware. Okay. And then at Clemson, no. And then Atlanta. Like I get I like, how would this ever come across me? I was never in the culture.
Starting point is 00:06:19 Yeah. Like I do I guess we went once on a senior trip. But no one ever said there goes the Zamboni. Like I it's crazy. I've just been thinking about it and people were like funny in the comments. Some people, like, their tone was like, you're an idiot, which I'm like, okay, cool. Like, can we all just laugh about this? But I have not been able to stop thinking about it. I just, it's, okay, so Pittsburgh is really hockey culture. It's a big hockey town. And my brother played ice hockey when he was little.
Starting point is 00:06:44 But I still think people in warm climates know what this is. Like Florida people know what this is. Yeah, there was one girl, I think, from Hawaii that was like, I'm with you, Ashley. I'm like, it's just us on this island. Literally on this island. Yeah, on the literal island. I don't know. I would love to like polar audience.
Starting point is 00:06:57 Maybe we'll do it another week. But like, I was today years old when I learned. this thing everybody knows. This is the wildest though. Like usually you have some more support in the comments and I will say the bestie I got was this girl who works for the Tampa Bay Lightning and she said you can come down and ride the Zamboni. Catch me at half time. Do you know how fun that would be? That would be the most fun. If anybody works for a hockey team, any hockey teams, I will go. Can you seem like I'm like, run? I would love that. And then my fiancee in the comments is like also shaming me. I'm like, this is on you.
Starting point is 00:07:30 You're a Boston guy. He's new here. You grew up ice skating culture. How have you not told you? In the grand scheme of your life, he's new here. This is not his fault. And we... It's your brother's fault. Your dad's fault. Not his fault. That's true. But we did go to Bryant Park once and watch people fall ice skating. Yeah, you really do like to go there. Watching people fall ice skating is my favorite spectator sport.
Starting point is 00:07:48 But you don't know about the machine that cleans the ice. Crazy. I got to think about some stuff that I learned recently. Well, you said your one friend didn't know what a pop socket was. Two friends that do not know what popsockets are. And I thought that was the most common thing in the world. Right. Okay.
Starting point is 00:08:07 Let us know in the comments now. Do you guys know Popsocket? It's not going to be zamboni. But that's something that I'm like should be in the culture. It's on phones. But anyways, okay. So stay tuned next week for some breakup stuff. But it's come across our desk and we'll circle back.
Starting point is 00:08:23 We will do a breakup report next week. But this week we are doing a panty report. lots of panty news. There is an onslaught of pant. I feel like we all decided as a community to stop talking about women's bodies and they're like, we'll talk about their panties. Like you can't comment on what they're
Starting point is 00:08:40 on like bodies anymore, right? And they're like, okay. So article and bustle, clean out your lingerie drawer, granny panties or falls top trend. And I think it's funny they're calling this granny panties. So the real trend is essentially celebrities wearing see-through lace and mesh and wearing.
Starting point is 00:08:56 like underwear under it to like their butt and their vagina aren't hanging out. Like that's all the photos in this article is like people wearing see-through clothing. I mean, I guess these are granny pants. They are high-wasted underwear. They're full coverage underwear. And what granny panties, I guess is a cut. It's a silhouette, which I support. Like I've always said like I'm no underwear or full coverage underwear. Like I just, I'm not about a thong. I don't like that in my butt crack. I do it when I have to. You like a boy short. A boy short, but they're not that far apart. They're that far apart. Like a boy short just has a little more short to it.
Starting point is 00:09:28 Granny panties are just your butt. No. So boy shorts just at like the top of your panty line. Granny panties like cover your belly button. You think they're high-waisted? Yeah, that's what these are. Granny panties can be high-wasted. Yeah, I guess I'm just like, I think of like a full coverage underwear.
Starting point is 00:09:47 Do you think they go up that high? They're bigger to me than that. Okay, they're bigger. But my point is I don't really mind that silhouette. I don't like a baggy, blown out crotch, period panty. I don't have them. If you want to- Have them?
Starting point is 00:10:03 What do you wear when you're on your period? Well, I don't have periods. When do you use to get periods? I don't, I have put a tampon in. And you just wear, like, regular underwear. Yeah. But you sleep in a tampon? I don't wear underwear that much.
Starting point is 00:10:15 Do I sleep in a tampon? What do you? You sleep in a pad? No, at night. I wear like, I have like, period underwear. I wear-a- Because you'll bleed through? Period.
Starting point is 00:10:24 that I wear like two nights during my period in case I sneeze or something. I have not had period underwear since middle school, probably. That's just not a culture I'm involved in. I don't know. I don't have too much of a heavy flow. Why are you wearing underwear in case you, in case I sneeze or a coffin out of the night? Just blow blood out all over your bedding. Yeah, this is relatable.
Starting point is 00:10:44 I'm not saying it's not. You're just raw dog in your bed in the middle of your period. Day two of your period. Oh, no, I would wear pajamas. You just can you bleed over your legs. I don't. You just don't. I don't believe.
Starting point is 00:10:57 No. What is she? I've just never. What do you laugh really hard at something? When you're laughing, you're gushing blood. Wait, day two. Okay. No, I mean, this is not, I feel for anybody who has a super heavy flow that they can't manage.
Starting point is 00:11:11 I've just never been that that bitch. Yeah, I have to wear underwear day two. Yeah. Big time. Like if I'm bleeding through a tampon, I'm like, I need to go to the ER. Because that's not my body. And now I haven't had a period in the year, pretty much. Yeah, my flow is light.
Starting point is 00:11:23 I don't know. It's not about anything. Flow is light, except for day two. I always wear a Tampa, but to go to sleep, I wear period panties. Not granny panties. I just wear, like, a regular underwear. Like, if you look up underwear in the dictionary, that's the thing I have. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:38 I mean, a lot of times I sleep in, like, a little tank top and, like, my skims. They're kind of boy shorts, but they're a little more of a granny-pani silhouette. They're, like, high-waisted, full coverage, not too long of a short. I love to sleep in that. I'm obsessed with this look though. The granny panty with like the lace dress on top of it and then like a bra and a leather jacket. I'm obsessed with this look. Right.
Starting point is 00:12:02 That brings us to Rihanna. The headline is Rihanna ditched her pants for tidy whitties, which don't get Rana started on the no pants trend because she says she started it. I do feel that I invented it. Yeah. And this is just, I think the headline's little click baby. But again, she's just doing the trend and we love it. It says on October 3rd, Mean Girls Day. and Aesap Rocky were spotted spending time in New York. She had a loose white undershirt and teeny tiny
Starting point is 00:12:28 leather boxers, pants nowhere in sight. We'll show the photo. Love the look. No notes. I love it. And then Catch me in tiny wodies on the streets of New York City next week. And well, Raina can wrap up the panty report with her fave. But really quickly, Megan the Stalion was sporting a whale tail, which something that not everybody knows. We did a poll back when we talked about whale tails during Brat summer. It's just the top of your thong coming out of your pantyof. pants and it makes like a whale tail. And that was high school for me, you guys. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:12:57 All I did in high school was wear wetsial jeans and a little whale tail thonged. It's very super bad. Like remember the moment? Yes, that was me. Yeah. So she, this has not been a brand new trend. Like we've seen whale tails and Katie Perry at like a crazy whale tail on a red carpet this year.
Starting point is 00:13:13 But it just says that Megan the Stallion donned a black button down blouse with only one button clasped. And so she basically had these like really low rise pants. and they had like this built-in whale tail and had an M on it. I love to see it. We'll show this because you guys are hearing me if you're not watching. Like, what are you talking about? So that's a front whale tail.
Starting point is 00:13:33 That's not even a, a tail is in the back. What is this? This is misleading news. I guess the shape, well, the shape of it is a whale tail. Like tail. Oh, front tail. Front tail. Front.
Starting point is 00:13:45 It's not referring to your butt tails. You're referring to the whale's tail. The shape of a whale's tail is the way that the underwear like bows out. You know? I'm figuring this out in the moment. In real time, I'm realizing that she is a front whale tail. Like, when your thong goes in your pussy.
Starting point is 00:14:02 I love that I think you're having a moment. You know, however you want to accessorize them. In the front or the back. It's giving wedgy in the front, which makes me a little uncomfortable. I cannot stand it. A wedgey in the front? Yeah, just like vagina thong.
Starting point is 00:14:19 I can't. I have crazy underwear behavior. You know how a thong to work out. I just, you know, my underwear behavior is insane. I have a whole segment coming soon on underwear to work out. But I feel it's too passionately. I have to get my thoughts in order before I really... A whole segment?
Starting point is 00:14:36 A whole episode. I'm going to do a solo. We should, like, drop it. You know when people are like, you don't even know what guest is next. And it'll be like this dramatic music and it's just Ashley's underwear segment. Okay. And let's close it out. My favorite little pixie of all, Sabrina Carpenter, every week we have to talk about.
Starting point is 00:14:52 because I love her. Blast critics of her lingerie-inspired tour outfits don't come to the show. I love that energy. Yeah. I, you don't like what I'm wearing on stage in Madison Square Garden? Well, so we can back up a little. Basically, she's on tour. She's crushing it and her looks are very lingerie inspired and basically some moms are, you know, in an uproar. And she's like, well, then don't come. But I posted this meme when we were on our slumber party run when we were wearing slumber party themed outfits. And And it just kind of spoke to me because there was on Elite Daily, but they posted this tweet at Bejewed Page was the handle. Sabrina Carpenter is genius for how she embraces her sexuality,
Starting point is 00:15:31 but still keeps women as her target audience. Like, how is she performing in lingerie? And I still feel like it's not for men at all. I can't comprehend it, but I love it. And I read that as we're like on a plane heading to Detroit. And I was like, that is us. We're doing that tonight. Like, we were pajamas, but the final night we did sexy lingerie.
Starting point is 00:15:50 And that's the vibe. it's not for men. So I did have this thought of like, is this outfit? So I wore a thong body suit with, I mean, it was barely there. My boobs were cupped. Like, it wasn't even like a full body suit. And then completely see through pants. My butt was out.
Starting point is 00:16:06 My whole stomach was out. Everything was out. And I did at this moment where I was like, is this too far for a show that's supposed to be like women empowerment and this like fun environment from men? And I was like, no, this is exactly where I want to wear this. I would not want to wear this in an environment full of men. I wanted to wear it with our girls. release. Yes. Like the, what I wore last year to the beacon was very like lace lingerie inspired. And where I
Starting point is 00:16:30 got the inspiration was Beyonce on tour when we went to her tour in 2023 and the first outfit she wore. Oh my God. Like that was the hottest, most stunning, beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life. We went to her birthday show. And it was just the most incredible thing. I couldn't like take my eyes off it. And it is for women. Totally. She's really, Beyonce is, I mean, there's plenty of women that do this, but she comes to mind, Rihanna, obviously, that are like so, so sexy. And it's just for the girls. I know. I love it. It's just, it's hypersexualized. But you know your audience is women. Yeah. I love it. Mm, love it. Mm, okay. Go off a little teeny pixie. I love you. She's just, she's also just, she's pretty unfiltered. As like a, of what, former Disney kid? I just, I love her energy. She does not give a fuck. She has sort of. You know, Chapel Roan is very open about how she feels and it comes off a little more aggressive. Sabrina Carpenter sort of has a way of still being like, don't cross me, but it's a little more approachable to the fans. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:32 It doesn't feel like she's telling like her fans, like, come or don't, I don't. Do you know what I mean? Yeah, I don't think that you're insulting Chaparone. I think her delivery is aggressive. I don't think that's up for debate. She does, yeah. She feels like she's kind of setting boundaries and saying what's on her mind and not trying to to people please, but it is coming across in a different tone. It's just, it's a little glossier.
Starting point is 00:17:55 It's a little toned down more than Chaparone. Yeah. Okay, so speaking of panties, just going to tell you guys about skims. We are talking, we are talking more about the bras today. So, of course, everything we're obsessed with that Skims makes. I mean, we have everything from their bras to their underwear, to their pajamas, to literally dresses. I've worn a dress to a wedding. You know, we're just obsessed with everything they do. But the bras are just incredible. I mean, I am so. obsessed. I really feel like my boobs have never looked better than when I'm wearing a skim's bra. I'm wearing one right now. You can do their underwear bras, their push-up bras, demi-brabs, Balconet. And they really offer something for everyone that fits everybody bras. This is their best-selling buttery fabric and
Starting point is 00:18:36 must-have bras for everyday wear. They do strapless, fits everybody lace. I love their lace. Everything is just like so sexy that they do. And they have, of course, wireless. So I love the t-shirt demi-bra. It is so comfortable. I do their push-up bras, not a lot, but when I'm feeling kind of icy and sexy. I love their push-up bras and they just give you like a really smoothing silhouette. And then one of my absolute favorites is the weightless scoop bra. This is just so comfortable. I love the way it looks just like under a t-shirt or under a tank. And it really is weightless. Like whatever they make this with is just something I've never really felt before in an undergarment. And I'm obsessed with it. And, you know, Rain and I have very different chest sizes.
Starting point is 00:19:15 I am a 34B. I used to be a 34C. I went down. You've accepted it. I've accepted it. I mean, I've been sized before. I used to be full-blown 34C. And, you know, once I got the pill, my life improved, but my titty shrunk a little bit. So I had a 34B and Raina is in whatever she's in. But we both changes by the day. You never know what they're doing. But we just both love their bras. I mean, this is really pretty much all I wear at this point. And they have every size you can imagine. So you guys can shop skims bras at skims.com. Now available in 62 sizes, 30A to 46H.H. If you haven't yet, be sure to let them know we sent you after you place your order, select podcast in the survey and select our show in the drop-down menu that follows. And I'm a new hand in stone customer. Huh? Stan. Customer.
Starting point is 00:20:03 And they have so many locations. They're going to give you massages. They're going to give you facials. They have over 600 locations. I went to one in Culver City. So it's highly accessible. They are everywhere. I had a great massage.
Starting point is 00:20:14 I had a great facial. Everybody that worked there was fantastic. I love my aesthetician. I'm very into skincare right now. and building a consistent skincare routine with the same ascetician it's like having a skincare coach. So they get to know your skin intimately,
Starting point is 00:20:25 they track its progress, and they'll tailor treatments to address your needs. So as she was giving me skincare treatments, I was like, are we going to do the same thing next time? And she was like, no, next time, we'll address different things as the seasons change. And there was a huge menu of stuff I could choose from.
Starting point is 00:20:38 She was just super knowledgeable and I loved talking to her. And obviously, my face was very glowy. They have world-class facial services, personalized skincare, a great track record. and they focus on holistic wellness. So check them out over 600 locations, like I said, across the U.S. and enjoy a free aromatherapy, $10 value with your introductory facial.
Starting point is 00:20:59 Use code GGE at checkout on hand in stone.com or in spa before 1231, 2004. Okay. The biggest interview of the week, not ours, but not Alex and John, unfortunately. But that interview was fantastic. You should listen to it again. Kamala Harris goes on, Caller Daddy Podcasts for In. interview with Alex Cooper. Let's talk about it. Yeah. Listen, we've won in Kamala for years. She scooped us. We were supposed to have Kamala four years ago before she got the VP nomination and we had Elizabeth
Starting point is 00:21:32 Warren, which is not like a second choice. We were talking to the campaign to the DNC and they offered us Kamala and then she got confirmed as the VP pick. And so then we went to Elizabeth Warren. And then again, this year, we were pitched Kamala Harris in June. We were supposed to go to the White House. Yeah. And as we were coordinating this, she got confirmed as the presidential nominee. Yeah. It just keeps happening where we're like on the brink and they're like, oh, big things pop in.
Starting point is 00:21:57 But I will say, I'll call her daddy is a much larger show than ours. And it's reaching a totally different audience. Like that's an understatement. So, you know, we love to see it. Her followers on the air. Yeah. Yeah. So you listen to the whole.
Starting point is 00:22:14 Yeah. I watched clips. I listened. I didn't listen to the interview in its entire. But I loved all of her clearly a lot of prep went into this. She flew to Las Vegas. She built a set and the interview was canceled because Kamala had to attend other matters. Then she flew to D.C.
Starting point is 00:22:29 built a set. I mean, a lot of care went into this. I think in the respect that you should have gone into it. I loved the tone. I felt like it wasn't attacking. But I will let you share your thoughts on the actual interview before we get into the feedback. I thought it was perfect. I thought it was informative and approachable.
Starting point is 00:22:48 not a bunch of political jargon, which wouldn't have resonated with the audience. She was Kamala and Alex were so compassionate. It felt really authentic. It was smooth and it was tight and it was real. And I commend Alex on opening it in a like, let me get to know you a little bit way. And then still covering like really every important policy, not every, but like the most important policies for women. And you know, she opens it. And she's like, I'm not going to talk about fracking.
Starting point is 00:23:18 I'm not going to talk about the economy. I mean, she dabbled and, like, people feel like they can't afford to have children or buy home, things like that. But I just found it really wonderful. I really give it, like, a 12 out of 10. I loved it. Yeah, I'm with you. The tone was really just calm, not attacking, not attacking people for their beliefs on the other side of the fence.
Starting point is 00:23:38 So she posted the interview on Sunday night, and within 20 minutes there was 15,000 comments, and I'm reading the comments. And no one could have listened to the interview in this amount of time. Right. So the comments that were just flooding in were just Trump 2024. I can't believe you did this. I can't believe you interviewed her. I'm out. Never listening to you again. I can't believe. People were angry. And the tone of surprise is what really shocked me of like, how could you do this? And Alex Cooper released a video right away. I think even, I'm not sure what the timeline was right before or right after the interview came out where she said I extended an invite to Donald Trump as well. Everybody's welcome to come on the show. People were very surprised that she would placements. platform Kamala Harris. And I'm surprised that they're surprised. Alex Cooper did a whole boots on the ground abortion vlog years ago after Roe was overturned. People have known where she stood on abortion, which can tell you other things. I mean, I don't know what people expected. I thought it was crazy. And the comment section,
Starting point is 00:24:40 yes, that's got to be some of her base, but also was it just trolls descending, you know, are all those crazy comments that again just popped off without listening to the episode clearly or like never listening again or Trump 24 like are they weekly call her daddy listeners? I don't know. Most people are saying like wow, she had a more MAGA conservative base than people may have expected. Obviously her origin story was at Barstall, but she's obviously ascended past that. But I was shocked and we got some messages from listeners like, can you please talk about this because we're shocked? Like people in the comments section were like, What is this comment section?
Starting point is 00:25:16 You know, and also it's interesting because it's very different in different social media platforms. Like the TikTok comments are more like, oh, I'm glad I'm here because Instagram had me scared. And then YouTube is like, whoa, full MAGA, you know. But YouTube is also just a clip. And the clip, I think, had Trump in it where as you can't, you can only watch the full episode on Spotify until the end of the year when her serious deal goes through. Because I was curious about that as well. I was going to watch it fully on YouTube and you can't. So I thought that was interesting.
Starting point is 00:25:47 I mean, speaking to Trump, I'd love to have her on. He's never going to do it. He's not doing interviews like that. He did Theo Vaughn, but he bailed on 60 minutes. He's not going to have his feet. Yeah, he's going to talk about Coke with Theo Vaughn, but he's never going to do that. And I'd love to see her grill him. If nothing else, just ask him all the same questions.
Starting point is 00:26:04 Uh-huh. I mean, I don't need to go down this path of how I feel politically. We've done this. But I do not understand women supporting. him. This is to me, I mean, you know how we feel. It's like, there's not like, but you got to listen to both sides. It's like there's one side that is trying to
Starting point is 00:26:22 roll back women's rights and dismantle our democracy and is a predator and a liar and all this has been proven. These are just the facts. And so anyway, I'm like, what the fuck? Well, the thing that was, so I'm not, I'm not shocked that she is a huge conservative base. She's the second
Starting point is 00:26:38 biggest show in the country. She's Justin's Joe Rogan. You couldn't be that big without one side, yeah, without a massive conservative of base also. Most of her interviews are Katie Perry and Heather McMahon and a lot of musicians and reality TV stars and you don't have to be on either side of the coin to enjoy those interviews. They're completely not political based, religious base, anything like that. So you can listen and have no feelings about it. I was shocked by all the comments were women. I thought like at least a lot of these like I can't believe you did this would be men. It was women. Like it was like women on women
Starting point is 00:27:10 crime. And I'm surprised that people were so surprised not about her. Well, I'm surprised that people are shocked that she would platform Kamala, but this is almost like a Barbara Walters type like person. She's just interviewing people. It's not like giving them a platform doesn't necessarily, and Alex's case mean, I agree with every single thing this person is saying. She's a journalist. Yeah. Exactly. Alex is interviewing this woman in a way that like, she's probably like, how do we not all feel this way? How do we not all think that women should have bodily autonomy?
Starting point is 00:27:43 I looked at her comments and I thought this was just going to be an army of people being like you have ascended to another level. Congratulations. This is amazing. There is that. Yes, Queen. And there is a lot of that. But there's so much more negativity. I was shocked by it. Yeah. And it does depend on where you are.
Starting point is 00:28:01 Like I do want to say, like I have read tons of really positive comments. You know, but again, it's like the people who are more mad are the one that are motivated to comment. You know, like, I didn't comment. I liked everything, but I'm not a big commenter, but maybe I should have because it's like, I'm a person who's over here like wonderful, amazing, no notes,
Starting point is 00:28:19 and I didn't leave a comment. That's true. Because I'm not all mad. But I wouldn't have to comment if it was Trump either. I think this was really brave. I think that she doesn't really talk about her. As she's gotten bigger and more famous, you hear less opinions from her about one side of the other
Starting point is 00:28:34 about religion and politics and things like that. She's generous enough with her. life. I don't think that she shares her opinions as much. And she was open about that, that she's never really, like, publicly picked aside. I think this was really, like, brave. And I continue to always feel like if you have a platform, especially if you support all these women and young women, that you should use your platform to further some really good political beliefs. And she did do that. Yeah. I think it's great. I don't, I don't understand the Kamala hate, the aversion to the things that she said on that interview
Starting point is 00:29:06 I will never understand. I understand she's not perfect. Everyone has their flaws, but I really cannot wrap my head around where things are right now. And I think some people who are not on that side of the internet like me, you know, I really try
Starting point is 00:29:24 not to live in a bubble, but I don't follow conservative MAGA accounts because I need to see what they're saying. I'm not a political reporter. I don't need to. You know, like that stuff upsets me. I can have a realistic view of like the polls and where things stand and the work that needs to be done and not live in some dream world like I was in 2016. But a lot of those comments, I think, made a lot of us feel like, oh, shit. You know, we were on this high and we had forgotten about the other side and how they feel.
Starting point is 00:29:54 I mean, that was some of the people expressed in the comments like, oh, this was a wake-up call. Tess, do you have something to say? You look like you were like, we're itching to say something. Oh, no. It just makes me sad. Yeah. Just like watching it. I hadn't looked at the comments
Starting point is 00:30:05 so you guys started saying it. I listened to the interview this morning. And then now... No, I mean, that's the thing. Like, we're all like, we feel deflated and then to see all those women. It just reminds me that the work is not done. And I, like you said,
Starting point is 00:30:19 I'm not on that side of the internet. I don't really realize that so many women, it's self-hating of other women to support somebody that wants to take all these women's rights away. Why? Because it doesn't affect you. And you don't
Starting point is 00:30:33 believe in these things for yourself. So it's just a reminder to like keep having these conversations with your family and your friends and like the work is not done. And again, like this is what I said with our interview with Emily Amick of like there's so much more than abortion. I hate that that's not the baseline. So we have to focus on it. I wish it was we didn't have to and we could focus on other things. But like there's so much other stuff that is bad for women too on that side when it comes to like mothers and child care and a million other issues. So again, like I, I feel like some people are just so sick of like abortion, abortion, abortion, abortion. It's like, it's just the starting line because it actually is like where it starts to kind of roll back our rights like bit by bit until we're fucking handmaid's tail.
Starting point is 00:31:15 So I like for Kamala Harris said where she, you know, sort of opens up this clip by saying Donald Trump didn't just like, he's not just a four year president that he's out. He implemented three Supreme Court justices that are going to go after women's rights and they're not going to stop here. And so it's not just one person. It's like all the people that they're going to put in place around them. Absolutely. Strip all these ones out of her. Because he's going to die. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:37 And then some of those people will still be holding the position for life. And then if you guys, you know, are new around here, we did do this whole episode. It was just a few weeks back. And it was with Emily Amick. And you can listen to that. And it was a really, like, wonderful interview. But anyway, oh, God. Let's lighten it up.
Starting point is 00:31:52 Yeah. Vote.org. Guys, just registered a vote. And just one more thing I wanted to say. Dr. Mirasha, who we had on years ago, we did an episode about abortion. She is a doctor. She performs abortions. she's abortion provider.
Starting point is 00:32:04 She had sent us something that she was like, I think your audience may be interested to know. And this was how last week, Melania Trump kind of came out and was saying she was like an abortion rights supporter. Yeah, this was all over. This was all over the news, people saying that Melania came out against her husband,
Starting point is 00:32:21 that she supports women's rights and the women's rights to their bodily autonomy. And this really like swept the internet. Yeah. So I just wanted to bring to your guys attention. I think a lot of people felt, confused about that. And I'm just going to read something that Dan Savage posted. And it says Melania Trump passionately defends abortion rights an upcoming memoir. And he says, like, don't fall for
Starting point is 00:32:44 this. This is a tale as old as time. Anti-choice GOP presidents and candidates have been sending their wives out to say pro-choice things before elections since Barbara and George H.W. Bush pulled this in 1988. And then George H.W. Bush appointed Clarence, Thomas. Just, you know, FYI. Roe is gone. Women are dying because enough voters fell for this. Do not fall for it. So basically, people take it as like, oh my God, she's going against her husband, but some people take it as like, oh, well, if she believes it, I'm sure it's fine. So whatever you viewed that as, you can look at Dan Savage posted, and this is all over the internet too. We can post it. But anyway, it's kind of just like, this is a tactic. It's been around. It's been
Starting point is 00:33:23 done. And she's doing what women before her have done and just don't fall for it. So I just wanted to put that into perspective. She didn't write that book. None of those thoughts are her own. Yeah. Donald Trump hired somebody to write that book. Right. Like even when she was speaking about it, I was like, uh, she's malfunctioning. You know, like it was so robotic. And so anyway, it's a tactic. Don't fall for it. We just wanted to say maybe she believes that. I mean, sure. Who's to say that would be great, but doesn't matter. She's married to a man who's trying to roll it back. And we just want to tell you guys that there's strategy behind things like that. Okay. Okay. Okay. All right. Let's take a break. Starting point is 00:37:08 Season seven. Every season, I'm like, why am I going to stop loving this show? Is it ever going to happen? The limit does not exist. This is my favorite show. I love it so much. I mean, name another show that we like. more. I don't, I mean, you were trying to say you didn't love this season. So this is season seven.
Starting point is 00:37:24 It's, it's in D.C., so this is a whole political episode. They got political on this episode. On this season. It's, it's been my least favorite season. So far, so as this comes out, two more episodes, a couple more episodes will have come out last night, which we have not watched so far. It's, it hasn't been my favorite season. I'm not really, like, I don't even be to root for, to be honest, except for that one, like, cute couple. Well, I have really been trying to press you on this because I'm like, are you just changed since the UK? I was like, Raina, did you ever like these people? I don't remember you saying you liked them.
Starting point is 00:37:58 So I'm like, we just loved UK so much and we really liked all those people. And you're out here. Like, I don't really care about any of these people in D.C. I'm like, who have you ever cared about before except Lauren and Cameron? Like, I never really care that much about. We guess you did though. I'm going to run it back. Alexa and Brennan, you're like just a protected all costs.
Starting point is 00:38:14 Then I walked it back. Okay. But at the time, you really like. them. Okay, yeah. We like Kwame and Chelsea. I usually like at least one or two couples. I don't think you have. You're always out here. I don't care about these people. Every season. I don't care about these people. I don't care about these people until UK and you're like, I care about everyone. What was season six? You know, I usually remember all this. You know, I don't remember. Is it Houston? No, season six was, um, Charlotte. It was Charlotte. Yes. Charlotte delivered nothing. I mean, it was amazing.
Starting point is 00:38:44 Like, we just, we'll never, like, Chelsea, I might not, I've been known that her and that guy were not going to work out. Oh, Chelsea and, um, Team of Francis. Team of Francis, yeah. What's his name? Jimmy. Jimmy. But, like, I love Charlotte.
Starting point is 00:38:57 I couldn't get enough of the two of them. And then you had Jeremy who, like, went and had an affair with Sarah Ann and the parking lot. Like, there was so much good drama. Like, I don't care. I don't even care about these people's drama. Oh, okay. I don't care about any of these people.
Starting point is 00:39:11 All right. But I still love the show. I love the show. Well, they cut the best couple. Yeah. And I'm upset. Yeah, we'll kind of break the couples down. This season had a lot of themes.
Starting point is 00:39:22 Everyone was ex-military, played basketball, or their family died. The tallest crop of woman. Every woman was seven feet tall. Everyone had served our country or they had deep family trauma and death. I was like, oh, my, this is a lot. Yeah. There was some common themes. Like, I was watching this, like, how many people can play basketball?
Starting point is 00:39:43 Or like sports. Everyone's whole family was wiped out. Yes. Like what is happening? So like there were people that spoke about their family members dying with kindness. Oh, right. And reflection and sadness. And then you had Leo who might have just killed his whole family.
Starting point is 00:39:58 Oh my God. Someone said they need a date line on it. I mean, his whole family just happened to die all at once. But also if that's really the case. Like, I mean, that's deep, deep trauma. And I don't know how it would be after that kind of thing, too. I said to you, that's the only thing that makes me want to like stop dragging him so hard is like, I, there's no.
Starting point is 00:40:14 So he is a cast member. If you guys are, I don't know, living under rock. He says, I don't want people to like me for my money. And then he goes on to only talk about his money and being an art dealer and being rich. And we talked about this. You could probably make anybody look a certain way with like hours and hours of footage and you compile it into a montage. But his was particularly bad. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:33 He does seem to be very hated. I felt like everybody was like, felt very like high functioning and smart. Like I think that's just DC for you. Like, I really like to analyze these people based on the city. I mean, you know, especially, we always do this when we tour. We like to, you know, stereotype, for lack of a better word, different cities and the type of people. And these people, like, you don't go to D.C. to be a fucking loser. Totally.
Starting point is 00:40:56 You know, it's not that fun. No offense. Like, you go to. It's, I think anyone in D.C. would admit, like, you know, it's not the funnest city. So it's just, it's people are high functioning. I mean, it's a career-oriented city. You go there to wear suits to work. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:10 So that's where you're there. I just liked it. I feel like people had really kind of intelligent conversations and everybody just kind of felt like elevated. I mean, there was some things that were a little, felt a little off. They definitely talked about politics more. And I've definitely seen some commentary on like what's going on with the women on the show where one of them was a woman of color who dated Trump supporter for three years. And then he called Monica a mutt and she just laughed it off. I mean, I've seen various things. Actually, I'm still recovering from this scene. I'm still heavily recovering from him calling her a mutt. And I went, what's about to happen? So this is Stephen of Monica. So Ashley's for mine what their names are. Steven called Monica a mutt. She's talking about her racial background and how she is from some different backgrounds. And he called her a mutt. The way that like my chest clenched and I was just like, my chest seized up.
Starting point is 00:41:56 And she was just like, that's what I am. I mean, she's in control of how she wants to talk about herself. It's okay with her. It's okay with me. But I was like, what's going to happen? Well, while we're here, they threw me for a loop with this fight they got in where she basically told him, like, shut the fuck up, you're talking too much. And he reacted as if that happens a lot.
Starting point is 00:42:16 I did not see that coming. People are saying she feels off and that she does to me. That scene threw me for a loop. He's talking about their future. They're also kind of drunk. And she basically says, like, stop talking. He was like, oh, I'm doing it again. She's like, you're sucking the air out of the room.
Starting point is 00:42:33 Then she doesn't say anything. And then she's like, can you bring me my slippers? And he, like, places them by her feet. Like, it's weird. I don't know if she was looking for someone to just worship her. and cater to her and weight on her. But something really, I didn't feel it till then. And I was like, this is weird.
Starting point is 00:42:48 It's clearly a new dynamic for her because she talks quite a bit about how she only goes out with people that have quote unquote careers and like white collar careers that are highly educated. They have college educations. He's an electrician. And she talks a lot about how she enjoys this because she would have never gone after somebody
Starting point is 00:43:06 in that field, essentially. But it is clearly a new dynamic for her and is maybe bringing. out a bit of a monster in her. Yes, he is like worshipping her in a like he's not worthy. He's beneath her. That's the energy. It doesn't feel equal.
Starting point is 00:43:22 It feels like he is beneath her and she's weirdly getting off on it. The slippers was crazy. Yeah. She feels like one of the most type A people I've ever seen on television. She's just really high functioning. She wants things how she wants them. She dresses like to perfection. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:37 I'm just, I'm interested in how this plays out in the real world. But also, can I tell you every season, the best fights are right after that party where they all meet each other. It's always like on that honeymoon, everybody's meeting and they all go back to the room, everybody fights. That's when Chelsea and Jimmy got into the best fight. Like people get into the best fights. Yeah. And I feel that we were robbed of a fight that we could have enjoyed, which is Tim and Alex. So Tim and Alex, I thought they were the most boring couple on the show, but they were like, prove you wrong.
Starting point is 00:44:08 Nope. So they, I guess, have some big fight after that. And then it's not filmed and you see them in the morning kind of dealing with that. And him feeling like she raised her voice to him. She put her hands on him. He was trying to leave. Who knows what really happened. But that was really shocking.
Starting point is 00:44:22 I know. I have lookalikes and I have predictions. And then I want to talk about Leo and Brittany. What order do you want to do this? I want to start with Leo and Brittany. So Leo, art dealer, Rich. He's between two girls, Britney and Hannah. His behavior was wild.
Starting point is 00:44:37 I don't think he's ever. had like two women like this going after him. And it made him crazy. If you guys saw the scene of him freaking out on Hannah, he's like, I don't know why you picked this other guy. All I did was tell two of you that I loved you. Like, just give me time.
Starting point is 00:44:50 And he's screaming at her. The way he moves his body. I mean, he is the most like, meamed and, like, sketched person on the internet right now. Like, I have seen more sketches of him from comedians
Starting point is 00:45:03 than I've ever seen of anybody. Yeah. His behavior was so outside of the realm, which also is like, How did they not keep these two? Yes. So they didn't go to Cabo, which, you know, they pick different couples to go on the honeymoon. A lot of people get engaged that you never even see.
Starting point is 00:45:18 You never even see the engagement. On the UK, 11 couples got engaged. Which is crazy. Yes. So they only have the budget to five to six couples. Yes. So, and this is the first time you kind of heard two couples talk about that. They talked about it right after they met each other for the first time.
Starting point is 00:45:33 And they were like, if we don't go on the honeymoon, like if we don't go to Cabo, can we go to Miami? And that's the first time you've ever. even heard them kind of say like, oh, right, some people do the show and then don't get to go on the honeymoon. Like, you're chosen to go on the honeymoon, which I thought was interesting to kind of like break the fourth wall on that a little bit. But yeah, so the producers came out and basically said, like, we plan to follow five couples. We can stretch the budget to six and we didn't see a future between them. And it's like, yeah, so what? Since when do you guys have integrity about the future? Like, you gave us Arena and Zach. You know, she clearly hated him. You know, like, totally.
Starting point is 00:46:05 Like Jared Freed popped off and he was like, you guys don't give a fuck. If you care what people said about these people, you wouldn't air Chelsea saying she looked like Megan Fox. You know what you were doing. You know, like, you guys don't care. Everybody wanted that. Like, why would you not send them over Tim and Alex? Like, if you were, I thought the goal was like, what good TV would be unless he was raising red flags in a like, I mean, I don't know, verbally abusive way. Yeah, but in Houston, they sent two couples into these apartments together, one of which says that she was assaulted. and the other one said that she felt like she was going to be assaulted continuously. And those people were casted, filmed on the show.
Starting point is 00:46:44 Like, now you just didn't, you think they're going to make it to the altar. You didn't send them to Mexico. I know. It's, I'm not buying it. Like, I think it's crazy. I got to see that Miami footage. You know, like, they've come out and said, like, we had a good time of Miami because basically we were just, like, recapping the show.
Starting point is 00:46:59 We got our phones back and yada yada. And he paid for it. And then, yeah. And then, right, he paid for it. And then we broke up after that. but I'm like, give us Brittany and Leo. I want to see them in Mexico. And plenty of people go to Mexico and then split.
Starting point is 00:47:12 And then you also had Shana go with Kyle a few seasons ago. And then they split on that. She won't even stay in a room with him. Yeah. So it's like all of a sudden you guys just have integrity about something and rob us of Leo in Mexico. I know. Pale skinny body. He's so pale.
Starting point is 00:47:27 Oh my God. He looks like a vampire. So there was that. We're loving it. I can't wait to watch the next episodes that drop. But I will, the pods have always been my favorite part. Like, that's what I'm so invested as the beginning. And I still really like the show, but I find myself zoning out a little bit more.
Starting point is 00:47:42 But I love the pod so much. And I don't know if you saw this, but I saw this trend on TikTok. People are watching the show blind. They're covering their TV with like blankets. They don't know what these people look like. Kind of decide what people look like. Yeah, they're like having the experience. That is wild.
Starting point is 00:47:56 I know. I saw people like watching Love is blind, blind. And then one of the comments was like, Netflix should give you this option. Can that? They'll be so many. Netflix can't even handle giving you a live reunion. They definitely can't handle that option.
Starting point is 00:48:08 Exactly. Two options. Two viewing options. But how funny is that? Like, I don't think I could do it. But it would be so fun to be, like, you're in the pods and try to figure out what these people look like before they reveal themselves. I just, I like to watch how they move their bodies. It's not really their faces. Like, if I was robbed of Leo, like, hugging that stool and waving the pillows around and stuff, I'd be upset.
Starting point is 00:48:27 You said pillows and why does everyone have a blankie? Raina. There's never been this much blankies on the blanket. season. You don't seem to have a problem with it. But everyone has a blankie. There is like main character energy for the blankets this season. It's blankies or pick me. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:48:44 This is how they're all sharing their smell with each other, which is the other thing this season is like they're trading blankies so you like know what I smell like. Okay. All right. So I have a bit of a talent and that is deciding what people look like, like their lookalikes. Just with love is blind. It's only love is blind. And Ashley's doppelganger game with Love is Blind is.
Starting point is 00:49:03 second to none. I'm like, how did I not see this? Okay. I didn't do everyone because I don't want to force it. But these are just the ones. Okay. So Marissa is a young Wanda Sykes. Leo is Jewish Justin Timberlake.
Starting point is 00:49:19 And, okay. Brittany is any real housewife season two before they get too crazy looking. She's real housewife energy to me. Like a California housewife. She's like a Beverly Hills or an OC housewife. She looks like all of them. Okay. Garrett, he just looks like, he's a team move, our friend Brian.
Starting point is 00:49:39 You guys don't know Brian, but if she's right, then they said he was also, what, middle class Chris Evans. People keep saying this and I don't see it. I don't see it. I don't see it either. I don't either. I don't know, and the middle, and the middle class. But he looks like, he's like, our friend Brian is like hot and has a jaw line,
Starting point is 00:49:53 but he still somehow like looks like him, you know. Taylor is Olivia Munn. 100%. That's the most on the nose. I just keep calling her Olivia Munn. Alex looks like Lizzo. I think she like gives Lizzo Like in the face
Starting point is 00:50:07 Tim is just any TV dad Like why is he a TV dad Okay so Nick It's just it's an inside joke He looks like one of my fiance's friends But also this is a really deep cut And this is Kenny from Can't Hardly Wait Which is a 90s movie
Starting point is 00:50:26 High School movie played by Seth Green Where he has all those pickup lines He's trying to be so smooth Yes, yes He's like him think he's like trying to lose his virginity and he thinks he's like a rapper yes he has the confidence of a Travis Kelsey he sold himself as Travis Kelsey he walked out of there not Travis Kelsey Ashley Ashley is stunning I think she's so beautiful I don't even know if I could pick one for her I think
Starting point is 00:50:49 sometimes she gives me like Tamron Hall with long hair she's so gorgeous I think she's just so beautiful Monica Monica is Tracy Ellis Ross meet Celine Dion and I don't know how else to explain it and then lastly is she is she is Crazy Ellis Ross. But with Celine. But a little Celine. And Stephen is Seth Rogen meets Shrek.
Starting point is 00:51:13 With a little splash of Blake Griffin. But why is he Seth Rogen and Shrek? Okay. Those are my local legs. Jewish Justin Tipperlake. I looked up he's Jewish. I don't want to say anything. Justin?
Starting point is 00:51:28 Leo. You know, the Jews have been through enough without having to claim Leo. This is really upsetting. We don't want them. We're giving them back. Okay. And I just want to do predictions. I feel the most confident about Garrett and Taylor, but people are saying.
Starting point is 00:51:49 Oh, interesting. Olivia Munn and Brian. But people are saying they broke up. Marissa and Ramses. Ramzes. That's the only couple I think is going to stay together. They feel the most natural. Like, they feel like the way they interact physically is like how I am with my partner.
Starting point is 00:52:05 They feel the most like real life, like, attracted to each other. They feel really happy to be with each other and it's not forced and you see a lot of these couples being like, do you love me say it? Do you like all that they need a lot of reassurance because they're not sure where they stand with the person. They're the only couple that I'm like, you seem to like really vibe and have fun and bring out a good side of each other. Their reveal was one of the only times I've ever felt like it was organic and natural in the way that you would act with someone they were really in love with. He didn't reach for the ring right away because he didn't know what to do. Like they took a look at each other. They were like flirty and touchy.
Starting point is 00:52:39 Ashley and Tyler, I mean, I want him to work out. I love Ashley and Tyler so much. I just, I'm worried about him being a good guy. And we'll talk about some rumors. But Hard know on Monica and Stephen, Tim and Alex, and Nick and Hannah. I don't even know if Nick and Hannah are going to make it to the altar. Like, I would just call it before that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:57 What do you think? Tyler, just so much bad stuff comes out about him. People say that he has three kids. Other people say he did tell her that. It just wasn't aired. Or you don't want to talk about his kids. I mean, who's to say? but do you want to run through a couple of like, I wanted to throw it to Tessa for some of the T.
Starting point is 00:53:12 So Tessa always sends us like tea rumors, what people are saying. We're just going to say off the bat, like we don't know any of this for sure. We're just going to run through all of it. Some stuff is just only lives on Reddit. Right. But these are kind of like the rumors. This is what Tessa does late at night. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:27 So the Tyler one is the most. They have three children, but his baby mama has come out. And like, because I think the narrative appears that he has painted on TV is that he was a sperm donor. because it looks like the baby mama primarily dates women outside of her relationship with Tyler. And so he made it seem like he was a sperm donor for these three children. But then she has posted photos where it's like he looks like a very active father. And it was like matching Christmas pajamas, doing all this stuff. And then I guess like a couple months ago slash like a year ago when they started filming,
Starting point is 00:53:59 he kind of ghosted out of their lives. And like his wife, his social media is clean. His family has wiped the social media's of children. But the mom and all of her family is coming up being like that's not the whole. whole story. So that's going to be a lot of drama. That's like the most substantiated. I feel like he tried to say to her when we get back, there's going to be a lot of people to tell you that I'm not a good guy. And that's not, that's the old me. But I think he was like, it was really foreshadowing. Like, you're going to hear some shit. Well, they, the kids come up on the show.
Starting point is 00:54:26 They showed a preview for the season. I don't know if it's going to be the episodes just aired last night or a future episode. There's something about kids that comes up. It does come out. Yeah. Anyway, okay. And then the other stuff, Monica and Stephen, Stephen just comes across it he was dating someone when he applied for the show. He was on dating apps up until leaving for the show. So that's just always suss. That's fine though. So I'm going to push back on this. Dating apps leading up to the show, you could be swiping on dating apps in the green room of the show. You're not committed to these people. And people really, you toss the word dating around very lightly. And like, it's like, who knows? Is there somebody that was under the
Starting point is 00:54:59 impression that they were your girlfriend and you submitted for this show? Not great. Are you, but were you on your way out the door and you submitted this? Also, like, who knows how long this takes to cast. Like he could have been like, I'm going to break up with this person probably. He submitted it. He was cast six months later. Yeah, I agree.
Starting point is 00:55:15 I think the reason people are like grabbing onto us because he was the cheater. He told Monica he cheated in the past. And so I think that was just kind of like a red flag aligned with kind of like what he was saying. Got it. So I think like with the editing, that was kind of just like tied into that.
Starting point is 00:55:30 And the other one, it's not actually directly related to any of the couples. But then there's the T that Marissa's pick that she didn't go along with. Bowden has like sexual assault allegations against him and things like that, which just goes back to like the vetting process for reality TV. Those are like the three that are against like the cast that we kind of really saw that I saw was like pretty major. Okay. But again, all of that TikTok, Reddit, nothing really substantiated except for the Tyler stuff as the most social media proof.
Starting point is 00:55:58 Yeah, I'm into this trying to figure out what's going on there because I really wanted them to work so badly. They were the couple that in the pods I was like, I don't need to see anything else. They're going to be together. They're so aligned on their beliefs. I just like, I love the way he spoke about his family. I just was like, that's it. They're going to be together. Boy, did they surprise me. Okay, well, that concludes the Love is Blind.
