Starting point is 00:00:01 This week on the snack, Poop Girl Summer, JZ at Yankee Stadium, and RIP Lady G. This is a Dear Media production. Enjoy. The way you said Poop Girl Summer. Poop Girl Summer. Poop Girl Summer. We'll get into it. Get excited.
Starting point is 00:00:24 Coming to you live from the toilet. I am very excited to talk about this. I knew last week we recorded, we were talking about whether your hair was curly or wavy. And I knew that you said it was curly. I knew people were going to be like, girl, it's wavy. Curly-haired people have a lot of opinions. And I woke up early this morning. I'm obviously in New York.
Starting point is 00:00:41 You're in L.A. And by like 7 a.m., there was like six comments about it. No, there's dozens. So this is Monday's episode, by the way. So the most recent episode on Monday. So we're coming to you just days later with a fresh report. But yeah, I mean, the curl police was out in full effect. And listen, I said this.
Starting point is 00:01:01 I don't care. I don't need to appropriate curly hair. Like I was just like, you guys tell me. But someone wrote in the comments, purposely summoning the curly hair police is so brave. So I did that and I didn't know. But here's the thing, Raina, and then we will get into it. Raina has been saying she has curly or wavy hair, either or for years. I have yet wants to see it in nine years.
Starting point is 00:01:25 One time I said, show me. She said, here's a picture. She was nine years old. Like, pull it up. Do it for an episode. Why have we had 300 episodes now? No one's ever seen it. Like, you're just, you have it.
Starting point is 00:01:38 You're just not going to show it. Like, don't be shy. Don't gate keep it. Let people weigh in on you too. Because I'm sick to hear it in nine years. People avalanche commented against me. DM's like crazy. Girl, you don't have curly hair.
Starting point is 00:01:51 Don't appropriate our culture. And then I kept trying to post things being like, look, it's curly. And people really put me in my place. The curlier people put me in my place. Rain, I don't even know if it's wavy. I don't know what you're doing. You've been saying this. and you've been like just spewing this narrative for nine years.
Starting point is 00:02:05 And I saw one childhood photo of you in nine years. You saw me wavy. Okay. You saw me wavy. You've seen it wavy. I learned last week that you have wavy hair. Okay. So you have been gatekeeping the fact that you've wavy hair.
Starting point is 00:02:17 Last week I learned this. I haven't done my hair curly over the years. Your hair has a little bit of a bend to it. I don't want to drive naturally. I don't know that I'd call it any. I don't know that I'd call it two A or two B. I'll send you photos. someone said i think she broke it down pretty well she said ashley you have type 2b slash 2a combo type hair curls
Starting point is 00:02:37 with a few strands of 2c i'm also sorry today guys i didn't do it curly today i feel like i'm trolling you and i'm wearing a hat but anyway she said with a few strands of 2c so those are those ones underneath if you want it to be more curly you need to train it okay with there's a whole curly girl method check out the video tutorials on ig or ticot thank you katie i mean train it curly girl like everyone's like Girl, you can get there. Like all the, some comments are kind of like negs, which is whatever, weird energy. But most of them are like, girl, it's wavy, but you can get curly. If you train it right.
Starting point is 00:03:11 Like, what are we doing? Like, I don't know what these curly girl methods are. Like, I'll look into it. But I thought it was like, you're born with it or you're not. I thought so too. But no, apparently if you don't use it, you don't lose it. You can train it. And people that have had curly hair their whole lives and been dealing with this,
Starting point is 00:03:29 their whole lives. They're like, don't appropriate my problems, okay? Oh, all the respect. It's fine. I'm not trying to, I'm not arguing with y'all. I think a few people in the comments said it that I did have curly hair, and I'm sure they've gotten bullied off the internet since. But a few people are like, that's curly, but I guess they don't really know. But I think it's really funny that people know their hair type. Like, they're like, I'm a, I'm a 4C. Or like, people know it like they know their bra size. And I didn't know. So now I guess I am 2A slash 2. B with a few strands of 2C and I'm going to step up my training routine and then maybe I'll get to, I don't know what's next to three.
Starting point is 00:04:06 I think it goes up to four. And then some people say there's fives. I don't really know. But people know this shit. So you know what's so crazy is like I, you know, you hear stuff a lot of times. You're like, I'm not part of the culture, but I do know about the existence of X, Y, Z. I don't know about the existence of what you're talking about. Like until this was brought to my door, like, I've never heard of the concept that there are
Starting point is 00:04:27 like categories of different types. types of curls. Of course there are. Because I'm like, oh, yeah, that makes sense. But I don't never heard this my life. Well, I did know this. And I always known of like two, three, four. And especially with black women, like they want to go to salons that can do their hair. You know what I mean? Like, I think that it's not just black women, but people with really tight coils of any race. Like, I've just seen a lot surrounding that of like if you have a certain type of coil or curl or texture, you have to go to a place that can style that type of hair. I've seen that before, but I just, you know, that's not something that is not something I
Starting point is 00:05:05 have to really think about. So your hair is great. People love your hair. I just, I think it's so funny, the amount of comments that this inspired. I just, you know, I want to talk about serious stuff. I want to talk about deep, serious, meaningful stuff, but this is what the people care about, okay? Side tucks. Should we be side tucking our shirts and is your hair curly? This is what people care about. Okay. I will talk about. I will talk about important, deep, introspective topics, but this is what the people want to know. That's what they want.
Starting point is 00:05:34 Well, you guys leave a comment. I did woke up this morning. There's tons of comments. I was like, oh, God. And then sure enough, it's all it was. All it was. Yeah, I get scared. I get scared sometimes.

Okay, so we are going to kick it off with a poop report. uh, explosive diarrhea all over the country. I swear to God, every other real Aaron Parnas breaking news in my feed is explosive diarrhea. I was like, Aaron, we have got to stop with the diarrhea reports. It's like constant. I mean, he's posting so many times a day, but I just laugh that like diarrhea breaking news. I feel like I can't even like, you know, sometimes you just see stuff and you're like, I can't learn about this today. Like I've just, I've done too much in my life. I can't
Starting point is 00:06:54 This can't, this isn't. And then I, like, read about it and I was like, okay, this is like, this is just like a normal amount of diarrhea. It's not that crazy. It's on lettuce. It's on salads. It's on, like, raspberries and produce. The outbreak is now in 31 states. There is a poop outbreak.
Starting point is 00:07:10 It is a diarrhea causing parasite. It's called cyclop. I'll do it. I'll get this. Cyclospora. No. Sporiasis. Cyclosporiasis.
Starting point is 00:07:21 It's an infection caused by microscopic parasites. sites. I don't know. Doesn't everybody just have diarrhea half the time? Like, how is everybody else living? Yeah, I could have used this in France two weeks ago. But I, it's cyclospora, which is that I think that's the short version. It is like, sounds kind of fun. It's like a fun little circus show. It's given like circ to so. I don't know cyclospora. I wouldn't even call out of work for this. It's just a lot of poop, you know? And no one has died, which is good. But it's thousands of cases so far. What do you shit yourself to death? I've died doing what I loved.
Starting point is 00:07:57 Honestly, my favorite thing to do is taking giant shit. So if I died this way, she went out doing what she loved. No, I mean, you know what's crazy is like getting this from eating vegetables is so 2026. Like, that's where we are in America right now. It was like the things that are supposed to be good for you is what's going to give you explosive diarrhea. This country is like a literal shit show. But I, you know, it could get more serious. And we've cut back on the CDC and various things.
Starting point is 00:08:23 Like I saw this thread that I thought was really funny. It was like not to get political, but I think we should have someone check for poop in our food. You know, like there's been cuts for the actual like task force. It's supposed to manage the parasites and stuff in our food. So, I mean, one day it's explosive diarrhea, but it could be worse. You know, thousands of people are affected, 31 states. I don't think it's hit California yet. But it is growing.
Starting point is 00:08:50 It's in New York the most. I'm also in my gosh Yeah but like you know If you get diarrhea in New York it's like who's to say I go down to the subway twice a day three times a day Like who knows what I touch It's like unbelievable what I touch And it's true like of course this is happening
Starting point is 00:09:07 Because of who's running this CDC You think you're getting just diarrhea from touching the subway pole I actually have the opposite feeling And thought about my body I feel like my body is like ready for anything I have put so much shit in this body I don't I mean I just, I don't know how I could ever really get like a parasite.
Starting point is 00:09:25 COVID. I barely got COVID. Yeah, that is true. Yeah. Okay. Well, yeah. Raina's immune system is top tier, you guys. So.
Starting point is 00:09:34 The people I've put inside of me. Stay safe out there, uh, with the cyclist's spore. I want to be think of this. Um, I saw this thing. It said obviously, like, 2020, three was hot girl summer and then we, 2024, we got Brack girl summer. And then in 2025, really no vibes. We didn't name the summer last summer.
Starting point is 00:09:52 And then this summer we poop girl summer. Yeah, diarrhea girl summer in full swing. Doesn't bother me. I love pooping. Okay. Well, with that in mind, I actually am amazed you pulled this headline because it's another thing. I just saw it and it's just like I thought about it for one second.
Starting point is 00:10:09 So there's these chic limited edition shit shoes and they promise healthier poops. So if you look them up, it's a company called let loose. Let loose. Yes. So it's a company called Letloose. They release these. They look like platforms from the 60s. Like extreme platforms.
Starting point is 00:10:28 They're actually very cute. Like the design on the top is just like wavy cute. And it's supposed to basically put your body into like an optimal pooping position. So when your legs are kind of lifted, it's supposed to put your colon where it's supposed to be. And I, a friend of ours, our friend Jackie, I stayed at her place quite a bit this year because I was going back and forth. And she has like a poop stool under a squatty potty. So this is like an alternative. alternative to the squatty potty. Yes. And I used it once or twice. And I was like, I mean,
Starting point is 00:10:58 but I don't have any poop issues. Like, I mean, I have tons of issues, other places, but like, you know, I wake up every morning I poop. I don't really have poop issues. I have tried these before. We've all been in someone's bathroom that has a squatty potty. And maybe if I'm struggling a little bit, I've tried it. I don't want to poop like this. Like, I don't want to poop in a seated happy baby. Like, I guess it is better for you. It doesn't feel right. to me. Like, I know that that's what the experts say is the right position to poop in. I don't want my knees under my chest trying to take shit. And I don't really need it. And they say it's good for your health. Like, I'm not denying that. I'm not a doctor. But fuck if I'm going to put
Starting point is 00:11:37 these platforms on and take a shit. I mean, I'm also laughing, thinking about, are you supposed to wear these on the street? Like, are you supposed to be walking on the street? And they're like, that girl has amazing gut health. Like, are these meant to be worn out or they're in your bathroom? Like, imagine going to someone's bathroom and they have these shit shoes, just sit. there? Or do you keep them in your closet with your other shoes? Do you have like your Nike's and your lubitons and your shit shoes like right next to each other? No, you keep them next to the toilet like where you keep a squatty potty but like I have never once in my life thought I have to take a shit and my second thought was let me go get my shoes. I'm thrilled
Starting point is 00:12:10 to just be near a toilet and when I'm poop. I mean listen you know that I'm like a five year old when I have to go to the bathroom is an emergency. If I'm thirsty, I have to pee after the bathroom. I just I need to go. I can't like put on fashion for it. I mean. I mean, I mean, I can't like put on fashion for it. Like, I just want to, like, plant my feet on the ground, drop it off and go. I just, I'm not going to get dressed. I'm not going to put shoes on to poop. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:29 Let me strap my shoes and, like, put my platforms on to take a shit. Like, this is another level. Like, maybe you kind of, yeah, you pull over your little squatty potty. I'm not knocking it. If this is what helps people poop, I mean, it's the number one thing that keeps me going is after I take a, after I do that in the morning. You know, we talked about this like a couple weeks ago. with like the sluggishness and just feeling bloated.
Starting point is 00:12:53 Like obviously it's so important. So this is what helps. That's great. But I just can't get behind it. I don't need my knees in my chest to take a shit. I mean, I really, I feel for people that can't poop easily.
Starting point is 00:13:05 It's like what's really important to me is eight hours of sleep and then a poop in the morning. And like if you can't or like I had a boyfriend who like used to have to get up in the middle of the night poop for an hour. Like, and like he couldn't push too hard because he'd get like anal fissures. Like he would have to poop for an hour in the middle of the night. What did he do in his previous life?
Starting point is 00:13:24 That is like trauma. Yeah, that's like a death sentence. That's brutal. We live together and I think he got scared to poop in the mornings, like in the place together. I think he just like held it in all day until I went to sleep and then went pooped for an hour. That's so funny.
Starting point is 00:13:39 You like wake up. He's like, you're like, what does that sound? Yeah. Explosion. Yeah. Listen, if he, if anything could have made it easy for him to poop, I'm sure he would have. So check this out if you guys are watching. And let us know what you think about these shit shoes.
Starting point is 00:13:56 And if you need them, get them. No judgment. No shade. They're cute. I will say they're very cute. They're better than the squatty potty. Yeah, they are. They're really, you know, they're retro.
Starting point is 00:14:08 So patent pending, available in small and large sizes can help users spend less time pushing and straining on the porcelain throne. Yeah, I mean, you don't want to be straining, links that you'll get issues, hemorrhoids, all the things. So if this is what helps you. And that's your poop report, you guys. Moving on, we have some leftover tea from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey's wedding. Just some quick little things we wanted to go over.
Starting point is 00:14:33 Raina's going to lead us. Raina's going to get us into it. Raina's going to lead us in prayer. So it was announced that Jack Antonoff and Margaret Quali split after three years of marriage. And she has since put out a statement. Basically, people were saying, like, did he cheat on her? because in Lena Dunham's book that she put out this summer, she sort of alleges that he was not faithful to her.
Starting point is 00:14:55 One of the people she alleges that he was not faithful with his lord, whose album he was working on. And I do think that they were in a relationship for a number of years, whether or not they made that public or not. But Margo Qualley and him split. And people were like, oh, my God, that's so crazy. I knew they split on July 3rd. I knew before the rest of the world knew,
Starting point is 00:15:13 because she wasn't at that wedding. I was just like nothing could have kept a person away from that wedding unless you were splitting up. There's no way. She wasn't there just because he was... How do we know who was there and who wasn't?
Starting point is 00:15:28 We don't know yet. You just saw she wasn't? So I spent every minute just like, I mean, I didn't do anything. I just sat in Rome and just scrolled on my phone. I was just like... You didn't see like every single black SUV and like the lists of every person that was there.
Starting point is 00:15:43 like I and also I watched him walk in by himself he took his sister so he okay so he brought someone else yes and she was allegedly filming a movie and it said like she was on set for a movie you can fly to New York from anywhere in the world to go to the royal wedding okay so that was the smoking gun for sure okay yes so I knew I just was like obviously she wasn't at that wedding obviously they split up that's what I would deduce if like somebody's partner did not go to that wedding okay also absent from that wedding. Jamie King and Taylor Swift is the godmother of her children and Sophie Turner who she was like running around with a lot for quite some time.
Starting point is 00:16:22 Joe Jonas is Joe Jonas's ex. One of the Jonas's exes. So I noticed that they weren't there either. But on the heels of that obviously like lively and Ryan Reynolds weren't there and people are kind of speculating. And this is just a rumor but I have read that they were invited and chose not to come because they didn't want to take any attention away from Taylor. No, that's, Raina, we are not.
Starting point is 00:16:45 I knew you'd like that. We can't, we, we, I feel like that's the dumbest shit I've ever heard. That can't, is that really what people are saying? Yeah, it's an article. I don't even want to give this any air time. I knew you'd like this. No. That's not, it's like, that can't be, okay.
Starting point is 00:17:05 They just have the drama would take away from the most famous person in the world. No, no, people aren't saying, people are not saying, people dead ass with. I'll send it to. I mean, just people are wildly speculating. This is just like a Reddit thread. Is this just something you saw? I've seen TikToks. I've seen TikToks. I've seen TikToks. I actually would never go on Reddit. Ew. No, I've seen TikToks about it. And it just made me laugh so hard that anybody would even think that. I'm pretty sure Taylor Swift is pretty secure about the fact that no one could take attention away from her. And I'm pretty sure most brides are pretty secure, even that aren't Taylor Swift. That's not a thing because it's, they know that. They know that.
Starting point is 00:17:42 that there would be more gossip surrounding them not being there than being there. Don't you think? I guess it would be equal. No, I think I actually totally agree with you. I think if they walked in the door, people would be like, wow, that's pretty crazy. They must have made up. I think them not being there, people wildly speculate. Either way.
Starting point is 00:18:01 Either way. You know, it's going to be talked about. Okay, well, I'm going to take the lead on the last item about Taylor and Travis, which is that they might have a dog. So a dog has appeared coming off of a private jet, this fluffy white polar bear. Is this true? Like a Zolny's more info. We're all intrigued immediately.
Starting point is 00:18:23 What is happening? They get a dog? They get married and they got a dog. I thought she was a single cat lady. And then she gets married and she becomes a dog person. The adrenaline is coursing through my veins at this dog. Like I love the vibe of this dog. like I'm sure it's not a rescue, but Raina, if it is, if Taylor and Travis rescued a dog,
Starting point is 00:18:43 I'm a Swifty, I might be a chiefs fan. If they have rescued a dog in need, no, I would never, you guys go birds, but I'm just saying, like, I love this. I don't know, gave me such a rush this morning that they could have this like big fucking dog. You might love big dog. I'm a big dog girl. I have to tell you something that you've been fighting for a long time, but I know, and we all know, is that you are a Swifty.
Starting point is 00:19:04 And listen, you fight it. But you like her? I do like her. You think Swiftie qual, like, the qualification is that, like, you look for Easter eggs and her music. Is that what you think, like, qualifies you? Yeah, and you had to have gone to the heiress tour. That's, like, qualification number one.
Starting point is 00:19:20 I think you're Beyonce fan, but you're not Beehive. Totally. That's true. No, I just, I don't, I'm not, I'm not, as, Swiftie is a, it's a different level. Yeah, I like, I like her music. And I feel like I defend her more because she has this, like, disproportionate hate. And, um, but, you know, she's, She's not without criticism, of course, and we have gone down that road as well.
Starting point is 00:19:41 But if she's going to have a big fucking dog, I mean, we're just seeing it. Yeah. I mean, the Aresor was one of the best nights in my life. It's not even close. So, yeah, I guess I'm a little closer to that than you are. But the headlines are funny because they're just like Taylor and Travis alleged dog. Alleged dog. It is a dog.
Starting point is 00:20:03 Like, but the head's giving seemingly ranch, this alleged dog. It is, and people, so it's just Travis walking. The headline was like walking off his wife's private plan, which I was like, oh, that's so cute, with this dog. But I guess it could be a friend's dog, too. Like, was he, did he have the leash? Like, are we, is this just fan fiction at this point? Like, the headlines are insane. Page 6.
Starting point is 00:20:26 Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey's mystery dog makes a big debut in Florida. Like, what? The dog arrives in Palm Beach. Like, this is breaking news. as we record you guys. Okay, but can I also ask you a question? Because, like, as this happened, I was like, they didn't tell me they got a dog.
Starting point is 00:20:42 That's crazy. I can't believe they didn't tell me. But, like, do we know all the stars that have dogs? Like, is, like, I started thinking, like, am I familiar with every star and their pets? No. Like, I can't name most stars and their pets. Like, I don't know if they have pets or not.
Starting point is 00:21:00 Yeah. We saw Sabrina Carpenter, that dog, that dog made a big splash. And I think it's just obviously, like, Taylor and Travis, if they were to get a dog, I mean, she's this notorious, legendary cat lady, and also just seeing this dog come off the PJ. I mean, it's just crazy. And then what would they name it?
Starting point is 00:21:21 Like, I know. I don't know. Like, I think Taylor Swift, she would name it something, like, poetic. Like, she would name it, like, Miraball or something like that. And then Travis would name it, like. Spike. I don't know. Some, like, legendary animal.
Starting point is 00:21:36 NFL player is the vibe. I feel like he would name it. Tom. Tom or Brett or Troy. No, you're right. I just, I mean, are we sure that Travis didn't always have a dog at home? Like, I just, I'm just trying to think, like, do I know any stars? Could I name any other pets? Could I honestly say I, like, know that they do or do not have a pet?
Starting point is 00:22:00 No. Other than Taylor Swift, it's just like, yes, notorious for being this cat lady. I can't even imagine her engaging with a dog. It would be like watching a dog walk on its hind legs. I just, I can't. Her dog voice, I can't even imagine. I can't imagine such a thing. Like, what would she do with a dog?
Starting point is 00:22:16 I just, something about it. It really spoke to me. And I think it was just, but Taylor's not in the photos. It's like, Travis is just like traveling with this dog. Like, we are, again, we are just speculating and we are fan fictioning this that these two got married and got a dog. But it's a developing story. It does, it just looks unnatural to me.
Starting point is 00:22:36 Okay, well, we're going to, we keep you guys posted. All right. Well, we're trying to take a quick break and then we'll get right back into it with you guys. I am telling you guys about Mint Mobile. So, you know, when I think about transparency and like a wireless plan and like you get those bills and you're like, I thought my bill was this and like it's not this. It's three times this. So like when it comes to your wireless bill transparency really is so important. And Mint Mobile's wireless plan has no gimmicks, no gotchas, just high speed data and reliable coverage on the T-Mobile.
Starting point is 00:23:06 5G network. So all plans are $15 per month, even unlimited. And all of their plans come high-speed data, unlimited talk and text delivered on the nation's largest 5G network. And you can even bring your current phone and number. I mean, you can shop your entire summer wardrobe from Quince. I really love their luggage. I have this great neoprene bag that's easy to take. And all their essentials,
Starting point is 00:26:30 are really elevated with premium materials. The linen is European. They have organic cotton. I wore this washable silk dress all three days in Rome. I just, it was so comfy because it's a million degrees outside. And I have this silk skirt that's not quince. You know, I have so much quince, but I have a skirt that's not, and I have to take it to the dry cleaner. And I'm just so annoyed about it because I don't know, you know, like it says dry clean only. I'm like quince would never. So I just, that's the best part, you know, we've talked about like all the cashmere, too, like everything you just, you don't dry clean it. It's so expensive. These dry cleaning prices are getting out of control. I know. And their, their price points to begin with are so low. Yes.
Starting point is 00:27:09 We truly cannot believe the prices. The price of the quality coins. Everything I've ever bought from there has held up since the day I bought it. They've been our partners for many, many years. And their price 50, 80 percent less than similar brands. So they work directly with ethical factories. They cut out the middleman. Starting point is 00:27:57 So I, Ray, I woke up Sunday morning to Shishonk telling me this first thing. And I was like, surely this man knows the difference between Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham. Like I was like, certain he saw a picture of Mitch McConnell that said bigot senator dies and he got twisted up in his head. Like I was like, surely there's no way that this. And he's like, actually it's a different bigot senator. But that this wasn't on anyone's bigot. bingo card. I mean, this is so crazy considering, which we will talk about Mitch McAdle and his quote-unquote proof of life. But like, this came out of nowhere. And again, if you guys are,
Starting point is 00:28:38 of course you know, Lindsay Graham longtime center from South Carolina, often referred to as Lady G, passed away from essentially heart disease. And, you know, people, of course, have mixed feelings. I mean, you know, it's, he does have the best track record and has caused harm for different communities. And, you know, we was also in the Senate a long time and worked with a lot of people for years and years. And so there's certainly been mixed reactions to it. But I didn't know if you saw the Instagram post from the trans actress Jesse James Rose. Did you see this? Like, first thing. I mean, this is the first thing Shishon read to me. Like, he saw it immediately. So my only real knowledge about Lindsey Graham is because Thomas Ravanaugh ran against him on Southern
Starting point is 00:29:27 charm in season two and was making like campaign videos about it. And it was insane. That's like why I know about him. But I started to learn a lot about him yesterday, which was that he is sort of like widely whispered to have been a gay man and also famously voted continuously against gay and trans rights and their right to have health care and be married and all those things. So I learned a lot about him. All I really knew was that he went up against Thomas Ref. And now, yes, exactly. It was like, widely known that he was closeted, but yet wanted to not support the rights of these people. And so this transactress Jesse James Rose post on Instagram just woke up to find out Lindsey Graham is dead, question mark, question mark, question mark, question mark. Most of you know him as the homophobic
Starting point is 00:30:17 senator from South Carolina. But to me, he will always be the man who paid a Twinkie, pre-transition college student, a fat sack of cash to do unspeakable things to him in a hotel room while he wore red lingerie. It is a canon trans event to have far-right freaks bankrolling you and then turning around and voting against you. People love to judge us for it, but I never see them opening their wallets. Shout out to sex workers everywhere force to humanize their enemies just to make rent. So that went viral. Put that on Lady G's tombstone. Read this at the funeral. That's a eulogy, if I've ever seen one. But I mean, yeah. And there's a lot of commotionaline about his death and the appropriate or inappropriate response to a controversial figure.
Starting point is 00:31:01 And you have people and fellow senators and people like Kamala Harris, I mean, paying tribute to him. And then you have people criticizing that. And you also, I find it the craziest, you have Trump supporters criticizing the left for celebrating a death when their great leader, Donald Trump, tweeted good, I'm glad he's dead when Robert Mueller died on top of Rob Reiner, on top of saying he'd want to see Liz Cheney in front of a firing squad. I mean, that's just the hypocrisy and the lack of critical thinking is astounding. And there's also a difference between jokes
Starting point is 00:31:38 and a good joke, which there were a lot. And like, people dancing on someone's grave, you know what I mean, and just like not mourning. Like I wouldn't mourn the death of something. someone who didn't support human rights and who caused a lot of harm. I'm not celebrating, but I'm not mourning. And I don't like the rewriting of history and like the whitewashing of someone to be painted as a hero when they were. And they've really partook in the destroying of our democracy and someone who like spoke out against Donald Trump and then just bent the knee to him, too. You know, like there's a long history here. And, I also think sometimes you don't have to say anything at all.
Starting point is 00:32:26 I find it crazy what people feel comfortable posting publicly on the internet. Like sometimes less is more. You can have private conversations and private thoughts about stuff. And yes, the number one grave dancer, Donald Trump, who tweeted out, I'm glad he's dead. And I mean, it is a very complicated relationship with him and Donald Trump. Because in 2016, you have Lindsey Graham saying, you know, that this is a terrible thing that he would be voted. into the presidency and then he completely changed his mind. I mean, Donald Trump's tweet, per usual, is the funniest thing I've ever read my life.
Starting point is 00:33:00 Senator Lindsey Graham, one of the greatest senators I have ever known is dead, is dead, exclamation point. If I hope that the president of the United States tweets out, Raina Greenberg is dead, exclamation points. It's so funny. Well, if you die, you definitely want Donald Trump being like good. I'm glad she's gone. You definitely want to be on the, on his bad side. So you know you're doing something right then.
Starting point is 00:33:25 I should be so lucky. And then juxtaposed to this, we have an alleged proof of life from Mitch McConnell, which people are saying may or may not have been AI. So if you guys are not following Mitch McConnell, it has not been heard from in a month. And he is, what, 84 years old. And he fell and they're saying it was pneumonia. But they posted a photo of him. It's just a photo with a caption.
Starting point is 00:33:47 He's holding up today's newspaper like a hostage. He's also fully dressed in a button-down shirt in a hospital bed, which people are saying that's very weird. I think that somebody, I think if it's a real photo, a senator probably just wanted to put clothing on and not be in the hospital garb. His wife is holding his arm like he's a hostage. And in the other hand, he's holding the newspaper like he's a hostage with today's date on at the sports section. It's hysterical. If there is one thing the left and the right are agreeing on right now, it's that this photo is fake. What in the weekend at Bernice?
Starting point is 00:34:18 Like, Raida, this is so crazy. Like, which photo do you believe more? Let me ask you this. Mitch McConnell, proof of life, or Trump as Jesus. Which was the better AI? Because it's giving the same energy. Trump's like, I'm a doctor. Mitch McConnell's like, I'm alive.
Starting point is 00:34:33 I just wear jeans in the hospital bed. Right, jeans in the hospital bed? Okay, I like your point, though, of like, that's the first time hearing that take. And I appreciate it that you're being like, he wanted to put on clothes. The U.S. Saturday.
Starting point is 00:34:47 Yeah, but okay. But then why do you go back in the hospital bed? Then sit on a chair. Like if you have enough, if you're alive enough to put on a button down in jeans, why they put you back in the hospital bed with the newspaper? A hundred percent. It's just what is actually happening here. Right.
Starting point is 00:35:04 This photo, I can't believe it. Like, I can't believe they're like, and then it's a long caption that does not feel like he wrote it. Of course he didn't write that. I mean, well, not that I really know his voice, but it's just like this is great. City town. I can't stop laughing at. It is the most weekend at Bernie's as shit I've ever seen.
Starting point is 00:35:25 I mean, it looks like his wife is propping up his body and she's like, you will grip this newspaper. And it's funny because there's the threads are going crazy about it. And I saw this one guy tweet, like, we need, like weeks ago, we need Mitch McConnell to hold a newspaper with today's date. And then he retweeted his own thread and was like, I didn't think they'd actually do this. It's too obvious. It's too obvious that it's not real.
Starting point is 00:35:51 The newspaper is too obvious. You would not get dressed, then get back in the hospital. But show him standing. Show him standing. Can he stand? He can't stand. There's no way he could stand. His wife is holding his arm up.
Starting point is 00:36:06 Like, you are going to sit up. I'm sorry, but they had the opportunity to do the funniest thing. And that would be to put him in a windbreaker track suit and sunglasses straight out a weekend of Bernie's. Like, at least make him. us laugh with this. Nobody's buying it. Like the, like, liberals aren't buying it, but the, like, right-wing people aren't either. They're just, like, quit, quit playing in our faces. It's just, it's too easy to make these fake AI photos. I sent you one of yourself on a boat yesterday. So it's just insane that, like, everyone's, like, these are two really, over-the-year's
Starting point is 00:36:42 problematic in terms of, you know, general human rights and propping up Donald Trump and bending the knees, senators. And one, we're like, is he dead? And then another one comes. Like, it's just, again, the writers of this season. I saw this mean. I'll do it themselves. It said, don't get too excited about this guy.
Starting point is 00:37:03 Save your energy for the big one. And, you know, that's the thing, too. This is a little bit, like, of a heavier, deeper, conversation. But when you talk about, quote, unquote, celebrating someone's death, like, what's the line? Because is it rapist and murder? because where does Donald Trump fall of rapist, pedophile, Epstein files, all the people that have died
Starting point is 00:37:25 because of him, truly, all the people in these detention centers and all these immigrants and people who have really would be alive today if it wasn't for these policies. Like Hitler, you know, Stalin, like at what point? Because, you know, we have people on the right be like, you can't celebrate anybody's death. It's like, um, what about people who have caused so much. much irreparable harm. And that might not be Lindsey Graham to you, by the way. No, I'm just saying, it's just like, it's a different conversation because people that have caused so much harm, people have died at their hands. The world is a better place without them. And again, that's your line to decide. But it's like, Hitler, people were like, well, you can't celebrate. You can't, I mean,
Starting point is 00:38:11 was that, what was the, what was the discourse that we had social media during that time? What I'm saying? Like, would there have been people like he's a person too? No. Osama bin Laden? Like, we celebrated that. Did we have people, what about his family? He was a human too. You know, like, it's an interesting conversation.
Starting point is 00:38:28 I think that, you know, I don't really want to publicly celebrate most people's deaths. A lot of people are, you know, their fathers, their husbands, but a lot of these women that were trafficked, they were somebody's daughter and they were somebody's child, somebody's sister. And, you know, a lot of people have caused a lot of really terrible or reputable harm. I don't put these two in that category. I don't know enough about them. I don't think that.
Starting point is 00:38:49 But I still think we can, like, joke about some atrocities. I think it's, like, widely known that Lindsey Graham was probably closeted and voted against the rights of people that are that way as well. And if you don't want to celebrate those people because it's against your religion or whatever it is, you still don't have to vote against rights of those people. And I think it's worth acknowledging it. I'm not dancing on the man's grave. I don't think, you know, he's not Hitler to me.
Starting point is 00:39:12 But, yeah, the big one, the big one I'll be celebrating. I mean, again, because, I mean, what camp when we talk about these criminals, you know what I mean? So I think that the most clever tweet thread I did see was it's like we got a free appetizer because our entrees were taken a long time. That was the main theme of just like, this is actually crazy, the timing of this. with Mitch McConnell. And I also saw the ones that were like for the people that were obsessed with Joe Biden's age, outlive in everybody. Well, that's like the dumbest shit in the world, the whole Sleepy Joe thing. It's like the president falls asleep in the middle of interviews on television like every other day.
Starting point is 00:40:00 Yeah. But I mean, it's just kind of like, oh, these Republicans are dropping like flies. And Joe Biden's just out here like, eh, still living. Yeah, trucking along. So anyway, we'll keep you guys posted on all of that. Just going to talk about our remaining partners, and then we will hit you guys with your headlines. I am telling you about Resort Pass. It's something that I discovered a few years back when I got surgery and I was having a really hard time sleeping at night. And this has really helped me to sleep through the night. But also, like, in the summertime now, you have these, like, long days and these, like really hot nights and you sleep worse. And like, I just like climbing to my bed sometime. The room is warm and I'm just like, ugh, I can't, like, switch off. So these are really fantastic. I keep them in my nightstand. And magnesium is one of the key nutrients or body releases for like relaxation, recovery, healthy sleep.

Starting point is 00:43:06 Okay. So we are just going to give you guys your headlines. and then we will send you out into your weekend. This is just a really funny story that came about. It's very funny niche tea. Not funny for the girlfriend. It's a spicy one. So there is an announcer for the Spurs.
Starting point is 00:43:24 His name is Jacob Toby. And basically he was sleeping with and having an affair with one of the players' sisters. And his girlfriend found out and logged into his Instagram, broken his Instagram, and posted an Instagram story on. his page that he was doing this and then the team fired him. Yes. So crazy. I'll walk you guys through these.
Starting point is 00:43:49 I'll try to be quick. But she posts on his story, on Jacob's story with a picture of her, her and him. This is my girlfriend of six years, but I cheated on her with Lauren Waters. She tags her at Lauren K. Waters. So feel free to continue following me if you really think I'm a good guy because I'm not. Again, she's in his voice. Okay. Then she does another post.
Starting point is 00:44:09 I think she went full feed on this. So another post, is this on Twitter? Regardless, she posted again, me and the new girl, and there was pictures of them, like, from a photo booth. And then the stories got deleted. The cheater thing got deleted. And then he was going through and deleting old posts.
Starting point is 00:44:29 And then she broke her silence. So she posts out, this is his now ex-girlfriend. I was visiting his family with him for two, weeks. We were on day three when I found out about him and Lauren. He woke up and his parents made him take down the story. His parents, I mean, I think he probably wanted to too. Stay safe out there, ladies. You can be six years in visiting grandparents one hour and sleeping in bed the next at his family home and they will still cheat. So tough there. I mean, if you were cheating, Jacob,
Starting point is 00:45:01 you've got to have your phone locked down more than that. Like, I wouldn't know how they're Willie nilly with this phone. She might have done his face. Like, I wonder if she did his face. I mean, obviously I have Shishon's pass code, but he's a trustworthy guy. But it's like, I wonder how she got in. Do we know how she got into his phone? I mean, I need all the details.
Starting point is 00:45:20 I don't know. I feel like most people have their partner's passcode. It's like really strange. If you're cheating, you don't want, if you're six years into a relationship and you don't have your partner's passcode, I think it's so interesting. And like, yeah, if you're cheating, you're changing that all the time. I'm not sure how she found. out she found those photos is that how she found out i mean how stupid is he and i love that this justice was
Starting point is 00:45:41 like really quick the team was like we don't want anything to do with this you're sleeping with one of the players sisters like fire it immediately in the team crazy i mean you do bad things and bad things are going to happen to you but legally can you can you can you can you i mean it's not even cheated on your spouse okay so my guess is i'm not condoning it's it's fucking shitty but like i've seeing people be like, can you get fired for that? But also, can you get fired for anything? So my two guesses are, first of all, this is not liable or slander because it's the truth from her. So he can't sue her for that because it's the truth. And you are suing for getting fired. So for the team. No, listen, I'm a legal expert. Okay. Sorry. Sorry. He's an at-will employee,
Starting point is 00:46:23 just like anybody else. And you, a team can say this negatively reflects upon us. This hinders your ability to do this job. Also, the players, this is going to create a horribly negative environment for the players. We can fire you anytime we want to. A million girls would love this job. Yes. I mean, go off to the girlfriend. Can you imagine waking up checking your own story? I mean, obviously you'd wake up to like texts. Like you would wake up to like an onslaught of texts. But also what if you did it and the first thing you do in the morning is rewatch your own story. And this is what you see. You're like, I'm a cheater. I'm jealous of like the friends that know them. If I personally knew these people, the rush that would be going through my body seeing this.
Starting point is 00:47:10 Listen, I don't wish this upon anybody. If I was her friend, her personal friend, I would be laughing so hard and what a hilarious move this was. So we have a friend years ago, her friend, this is one of our best friends, but this was like a friend of hers. her friend was cheating on her man and posted a story with this other guy. And it was like in a really compromising position. Like they were, they were not like fucking, but they were very, they were all over each other and they took like a mirror pick or something. It was something crazy.
Starting point is 00:47:47 I know. Very sexy and suggestive. And she posted it to her story. Is this Amanda Botula? No, but like she outed herself. And she didn't know. she was like drunk, posted to her own story, and all her friends, like, couldn't get a hold of her. I have had two times in my life for this happen, and it is just crazy when you fuck yourself
Starting point is 00:48:08 like this. I haven't gotten caught when I, we had this deal with this company, and I sort of posted about how the company was trash, and I put it on my story, and then we lost service, and thank God we got it down. And then the other time, I don't know if I ever told you this, actually, I, so my ex-fiance, I was his boss, he was a waiter, and I was like the main. manager at the restaurant and me and him and Melanie and her date went to a wedding. And she posted on Facebook and like tagged me and him at this wedding together, clearly like on a date at this wedding. And like I couldn't find service. And I thought all my staff members followed me. Like there's just a picture being my staff member at a wedding together on a date.
Starting point is 00:48:50 Crazy. Terrify. Let us know if you guys have any stories like that in in the comments. Okay. And the next headline, you guys have probably seen this. went super viral, this bull bison tossed this tourist into the air, like a rag doll in Yellowstone. The video is so insane. Like these tourists were far enough away. They were like filming this bison, which you could not catch me doing that on foot. Like an animal, you cannot fuck with nature like that. Like if I'm in a vehicle, like I want to go on a safari for sure, but I need to be in a vehicle
Starting point is 00:49:23 if I'm going to be observing wildlife like that. But anyway. So they are taking photos and then the bison that kind of rolls around on the ground he does like a, like he looks like he's doing something cute like a dog would do. He kind of rolls around the ground and then this truck rolls by
Starting point is 00:49:37 and then he was just like, you know what? Fuck that. I'm about to fuck shit up. And he charges and he like kind of chases this man and this girl around and then throws the man up in the air. I've never seen anything like it. It looks like a cartoon.
Starting point is 00:49:51 It looks like a joke. Yes, it looks like an AI video. I mean, this man is also huge. You see him just like fly through the air with the greatest of ease. It was crazy. With his suspenders. Someone mocked it up into a poster and said, Red Bull gives you wings.
Starting point is 00:50:04 I was like, the internet wins again. And he's okay. He was very injured. But of course, I can't get into it today, but so many people have thoughts and who was at fault and all of this. But they really weren't in his face.
Starting point is 00:50:18 But I'm like, an animal like that, aren't you always at risk? Like, it couldn't be me. Like, I just feel like you cannot fuck with nature. animals, fire, water. Like, I'm out.
Starting point is 00:50:30 I don't, like, take risks with that shit. I don't even want to go on a hike. I don't even want to go on a hike, Ashley. I will take a walk by the west side highway. That's it. I'm not, nature's not for me. There's too many variables. It's not for me.
Starting point is 00:50:46 Yes, nature's not for me, Rayne of Great Work. So that was crazy. Yeah. So every week I'm like, we're not going to talk about this anymore, but this maybe this is the last week. So Bravo announced the cast of Summerhouse. So people have been speculating like who's going to come back, who's going to be on the cast. And they announced eight returning cast members.
Starting point is 00:51:05 And that really just is the cast. So you have Carl, Lindsay, Kyle, Sierra, Jesse, Mia, KJ, and Bailey. So all returning cast members. And I have to say, I like this cast. I actually feel like we may return to a time at Summerhouse where people are like just their friends. It feels like a normal. I don't want to say healthy. I'm not looking for always healthy dynamics,
Starting point is 00:51:28 but like just normal drama. And I just, I thought that West and Amanda would have been terrible for this show and would have been at the end for the show. I think this is like a perfect cast. This will be fine. It'll be great.
Starting point is 00:51:39 It's always odd for me to see a bunch of people in their 40s with a bunch of 25 year olds. So that's not really the case anymore. I think it'll be good. I mean, okay. Yeah. Yeah. It's like people,
Starting point is 00:51:49 people we know and, you know, you've come to know and come to like. And so that's what's been on. And lastly, okay, Jay-Z, these concerts, Raina, I woke up with jealousy this morning. I woke up with hate my heart because Jay-Z did three sold-out shows the Yankee Stadium, a historic run, record-breaking, and this is for, it's Jay-Z-30, and he's going to do three more shows in L.A., Paris and London, I believe, through the end of the year. But the New York ones, obviously,
Starting point is 00:52:22 were on another level. And the people he has brought out have been so insane. So night one, Beyonce, Blue Ivy was playing the piano. I couldn't fucking believe my eyes. Nas, Memphis Bleak, Alicia Keys. And then night two, the highlight was Eminem. Brings out fucking Eminem. You never get to see Eminem like that.
Starting point is 00:52:45 And then last night, Beyonce again, Rihanna, Clips, Ferell, GZ, Jada, Kian. his usher, fat Joe, Swiss beats, Tiana Taylor came out. I think she was singing Mary J. Blige. Germaine Dupree came out for Money Ain't a Thing and The Dream. Like I can't, I can't believe. Rihanna and Beyonce are like,
Starting point is 00:53:04 I'm gonna cry right now. Like, I can't handle this. So Melanie asked me if I wanted to go to this concert last night. And I was like, how much are the tickets? And she was like, the tickets I have are like $1,200. And I... She just had extra tickets laying around? Yeah, she had some friends that she was going to go with
Starting point is 00:53:19 and they ended up not being able to go. And so she was like looking for, people to take the tickets. And I am currently paying rent and a mortgage while I try to sell my house. And I was like, I can't afford a ticket. No, I can't. And I, thank God what happened last night. Thank God for me.
Starting point is 00:53:34 Not the people who went. But there was a four-hour concert delay because of a security breach, not because of anything that Jay-Z did to hold the doors or not showing up. But there was a security bridge of people showing up that didn't have tickets and bum-rushing the doors. And thank God this concert did not start until like midnight. because if I had missed this, like, I don't, I would have just picked up a second job before the tickets, okay?
Starting point is 00:53:57 I would have been so upset if I had missed this because last night I was in bed by 9.30. I can't even imagine being there last night. But yes, like, I feel really bad for the people that had to wait. Like, I was watching Tunday's story. Tune did all three nights. She went all three nights. And I went to bed seeing her story and it hadn't started yet. And it was like midnight.
Starting point is 00:54:17 And I was like, what's going to happen? and I woke up, and again, I woke up with jealousy in my heart. But it was, I don't know. I read about Jay-Z's statement about the security breach, and I don't know. It just sounded like something that didn't need four hours to take care of, but what do I know? You know, it just sounded a little, like, I don't know,
Starting point is 00:54:34 but it was just like four hours is a long fucking time. People got there at seven and for a show at eight, and then it didn't start till midnight. Some people left. Can you imagine leaving? I mean, I... That would have been me. I would have left.
Starting point is 00:54:46 I just feel like I couldn't have left because I would have had this feeling, like it's night three, it's going to be the best night. Well, you would have known better. I would have been like, it's time to go to bed. So people are really talking about Rihanna, and she came out and did run this town. And like there's a lot of like Rihanna's back, you know, like maybe this awakened something in her. And I hate to say it, but we're never getting that album.
Starting point is 00:55:09 She does not look like she's back. Her energy is, I'm stopping by to say hi. Stop feeling hope. Yeah. Yeah. Her energy is like not, I'm passionate about my music career. she was like, I'm just popping in. Like, we have been waiting 10 years for the album and people had to wait four hours last night for Rihanna.
Starting point is 00:55:25 And that's our, the story of our lives is waiting for Rihanna. It's a whole move. Remember when they released that cover story like two years ago? Like, maybe she's going to release. No, you guys just stop. But it was funny. Like, the energy was not like, she's back. The energy was like, no, she's stopping in.
Starting point is 00:55:42 Like, she's here to support her friend. Yeah. But, you know, people always speculated Beyonce, Rihanna. They're on the same stage. like this was just so historic. I mean, Eminem, like, what he did was absolutely incredible. And he's just a legendary talent. He's goaded. I mean, it is just truly, I love KFC posted of just, like, real, like, legendary, real life performers versus some people today who are just don't have that type of legacy and that type of talent and that type of longevity. Like, it's so crazy,
Starting point is 00:56:11 he's really been doing this for 30 years. And I can just remember that when Jayzie albums are drop and, like, listen to them in my car. And I mean, I hope I get to see him in L.A. Because it's just like, when are you going to go? When is it? It's in October in L.A. So we'll see. And even if you have to wait that four hours, it was 100% worth it.
