And I have a quick personal update. We talked about my toenail last week on the snack. I did put some polish on it. On your skin? No, there was some growth under there. Okay. How short is it? Well, let's just.

Yeah, bring your toe up. So look. It doesn't look bad. The middle one. Oh, it looks the same. Yeah. I mean, little Cajun shrimp on there. Yeah, it looks like a toenail, like a normal toenail.

Well, people were in the comments, obviously. This really was relatable to a lot of people. And they were like, you probably had some tonal growing under there. Like, and I did. What do you mean? Like a toenail under your toenail? Like, there was new growth. When I took it off, the one that had been loose for weeks, when I finally committed and took it off after I reattached it, then it fell off the whole thing.

There was some toenial growth coming in. Yeah. Uh-huh. So I was able to pull a little polish on it. And now it's there and it's not bare. And I had some Caj and Shrimp at home. Like I, you know, Caj and Shrimp like for years and it was like the number one pedicure polish. And so I was like, I think I still have some of this because I haven't done my own nails in a long time.

Yeah, yeah. And I did. So I put a little polish in there. You think you're going to like work feet back into your sex life now that your feet look good? Maybe. You know, we took a break. Jerk them off with your feet. And then you had a little bit of a.

Also, I'm getting my manicure. I'm at our place pinkies. I guess it's Santa Monica Ocean Park, but I keep pushing the day that I'm leaving. I was supposed to leave right today after we record. And I was like, I'll leave Wednesday. I'll leave Thursday. I'm going to leave on Friday. I'm just like having a nice time. Well, well, well.

Guess who loves L.A. again? You know, sometimes you have to lose something. Six weeks gone. She's back. Doesn't want to leave. I landed here. I was like, I don't want to be here. And then I got to my house and I was like, I want to be here.

Yeah. It's a nice place. Yeah, it is a nice place. It's a good place to live. I got to tell you. I went to St. Barber for the weekend. And it was great.

And yeah, I was coming from doing two shows in Nashville last week at Zanis and Salt Lake at Wise Guys. And thank you guys if you came out. I had not been on a stage in two months. And I did not want to make a big deal about it on the show ahead of time. I didn't want people to think they were going to get a bad show. But I was like terrified. I ran this show like 35 times in 26 cities. And I was just like, I haven't been on stage in two months.

And I was like, what's going to happen? And like, I was just terrified. I mean, I ran that the set over and over and over again. my living room. I was prepared for you guys. But like to get back on stage and feel like it was fresh and exciting, you know, and it felt just like new and like really fun. And our audience is just great. And I just missed them. Ashley and I just love being in the room with you guys more than anything in the world. And those clubs are so fun. Yeah. I was really proud of myself because I was like, this is really scary for me. And I like did it and I'm proud. And it made me less scared for the

fall because I was like, oh, she can do this. She can take a break and go out and do this. It does. And if you feel like you ever had a missed up or forgot a tag, it also doesn't matter. I was there to like see you and laugh with you, but you didn't. But you said I crushed it. And you were like, don't be nervous. Like if you forget a joke, like people just want to hear you and be with you in the room. And I was like, I don't know. What do I forget stuff?

But I had the best time. And so I'll be back out on tour starting September 9th. I have 14 stops in the fall. And that is the end of this tour. So I start in Ohio and September 9th and 10th. I'll be in Columbus and Cincinnati. And just come out. The tickets are at Rainierringberg.com.

So Cardi release a surprise new song. Aha. Could be the song of the summer. Have you listened to this? This morning I listened to it. I'm obsessed with this. First of all, it's like such a bop. Like, I love the song itself.

But the lyrics, there's lyrics about posting picks. posting your fitpicks, jumping off a boat, the haters, skin glistening. And then she says, black trucks at the club looking like Trump and this bitch, fuck him. Which I love, because I love, like, Trump got mentioned in so many rap songs, especially prior to him. Yeah. His presidential run, yeah, you can hear it and you wouldn't think anything of it. No. I think he was thought of the big, like, is a really big New York batty. I think it's just a rich person reference, you know. And even though he's just like a failed businessman on so many different accounts and now what all his banking accounts are being shut down for fraud and all the things, whatever. But, you know, that's the

president of the United States. But I really love it. And so she had a record breaking U.S. tour and then just like put out this song. She dropped a teaser clip, rapping on the, like, which was her like rapping on the beach and that got like 80 million views. And I just love this. Like calling out the haters, jumping off a boat, looking cute and you're fit, taking picks. I just think it's like a late in the game song of summer maybe. No, I mean, I really, really love it. Like I'm not even trying to force it. Like I listen to. it. I was like, it is giving Summer Bob. So that happened. Shaboozy released his new album. I released this is his fourth album, The Outlaw, Sherry Lee, and other Western tales. I love Shabuzi.

Like, I've talked about him for years, like huge fan. I've seen him live in the intimate setting. It was incredible. I love his voice. I really like this album, but it is like a Western. Like, Jamie Fox is on it. Like, it feels like there's little, what are those called between the songs? Like, I'm trying to. No, like, they're like little skits. Like, yeah. interludes, yes. Like they'd have them so much more on albums when we were growing up. But they had like these interludes. Jamie Fox is on it.

So the song, Cowgirls on it, which is my favorite song of the summer. That is your song of the summer. I said to you and your husband, I was like, this is going to be my song of the summer. And our friend who we love, Sierra Miller is in the video. And they were on the Tonight Show last week together.

And she came out on the Tonight Show and danced with him. And then they like kind of mimed a kiss. But like, I don't know if they're like, I ship them so hard. Like the internet ships them so hard. They're so sexy together. He seems so enamored by her. I know. And she's like his muse.

Yes. And to see them together and he's just like the way he looks at her, I'm like, please God be a couple. Like this is what she deserves after the dustiest men on earth on Bravo, Austin Kroll and West Wilson. Like she deserves to be like praised by a man, an artist. Like I just. A black man. Yeah. Yeah.

These dusty bravo reality stars. Yes. I love that. There's speculation that they're hanging out. That's what people are saying. I like the album. Some songs are a little too Western for me, but I love his voice. I love anything he does just because I love his voice so much.

And the song with Kalani, bullets and blades, I'm so obsessed with. That's my favorite song in the album right now. And then there's a song with Gunna too. Like he's got really all these collabs on there. Yeah, Tana Taylor, Sam Elliott. Like, they're all in the album. It's like this full narrative. Like, I mean, you feel like it's much more than like a music album.

Leon Bridges is on. I'm just like really a big fan of it. So that is out. You know it takes me a really long time to get into an album. Every time like a new album comes out, I have to listen to it like six times. I have to not like it first. I have to like listen to repeat. I have to get it in my head. It takes me like a while to like something. Yeah. And at this again, I like I respect it. I love what he did. It's not like my favorite yet. But it could be. And I mean, I just like the country Western of it all. I'm always chasing the high of Cowboy Carter.

So really, I feel like this is 20 tracks. Oh, it's a lot. Yeah. It's a lot. I gotta keep got this. You always listen to like an album when it comes out and you can give like a high level take on like, which songs you like, I don't. I just have to listen to it a bunch of times. But I like country music a lot. I know. Yeah. It's really one of my favorite genres. Yeah. And then we have Ariana Grande, who released her eighth studio album called Petal. And she has been on a tour, Eternal Sunshine Tour, which is wrapping up shortly. It's been announced that she is going to step back from the spotlight after that and kind of withdraw from public life. There's a lot to unpack here. I go back and forth on whether to discuss.

this. It's really sensitive when we talk about her body and all of the commentary and the scrutiny. Not everyone's going to agree. I just, I read a lot about this. I read a lot of threads. I read a lot of comments. I mean, and we have not wanted to speak about it. It's been happening for a while and I haven't really wanted to touch it. But I feel like it's come to this like inflection point and we're a pop culture show and this is one of the biggest headlines it is right now, I think, the biggest headline this week. We want to be obviously so sensitive when we talk about people speculating on disorder eating and people's bodies. And, you know, there's so much pressure on women to look a certain way.

And then they start to look that way. And then society's like, wait, they're too thin now, you know? And there's just there's so much commentary. And, you know, I guess mostly what I have to say is I hope she's well. I hope she's surrounded by people that love her and care about her. And if she needs help, get her the help that she needs. She's such an incredible artist. I mean, she's so amazing.

And I told you, like, she's this like impressionist. Also, if you've, like, seen her on SNL or The Tonight Show or anything. She's just, she's so incredible and I just, I hope that she's surrounded by people that take care of her. And that's my thoughts. Yeah. I mean, I think like a lot of things are true at once. Like her body is not a healthy body right now. So whether it is an eating disorder or another health condition, like something is really wrong.

And I find the images of her on tour to be unsettling because of that, what we're looking at. And the music video for Petal, which was really like short film and it was done really well, really brought it. to this fever pitch where I feel like people were like, we, we're, we can't take this anymore. We have to stop like glamorizing this, which I don't disagree with. I mean, I get the people like, we can't stand idly by and watch this, you know, but also how much is too much. It starts to border on bullying. Bullying. Yeah, for sure. And of course, I understand how we got here, you know. Everybody in the world has something to say about women's bodies and how they look and them gaining weight or losing. weight. And if you've been in the spotlight as long as her, every person has had an opinion on

her body forever. I mean, you look at the things that people used to say about Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson. I think we've come a long way from that. But still, like, to be in the spotlight and have everybody have an opinion about your body, I certainly understand how you get here. And she's an adult. You can't tell her what to do. But people are like, she looks like she's going to die. And so how can we not say anything? I really have, I go back and forth on my feelings about this. And again, I've like really read a lot of what people have to say. And I think people feel gaslit by saying by her and her team or whoever's saying she's healthy as healthy as she's ever been. That's, they can't be true. You know, so I think there's this other side of like she's a

role model to young girls. And basically her PR team put out a statement that she's going to take a step back and she's loved the tour and she's happy and she's healthy. I felt like that was interesting. I was curious what you thought about that. It felt a little premature. To me, it feels like trying to minimize the discourse right now while her album comes out while the video came out while she's still touring to me it felt like internet you won she's going to step back please leave her alone for now like it felt purposeful of the timing to be like can we just let her enjoy the rest of her tour and her album and not have this overshadow it and you guys are welcome to disagree with that but to me that felt like the intention like we're getting we got to say this now like okay you guys

we see you and she's going to go get help or you you're you're going to go get help or you You can read between the lines. I think we live in a society where people are like, we want this now and they demand these things. And you forget that like, Ariana Grande, besides being like once in a generation talent, she's a gravitational force in terms of the amount of people she employs. So you're talking about arena tours.

Is she doing stadiums or just arenas? But regardless, I mean, you're talking about teams of hundreds of people this represents to feed their families and producers on these albums and people that bought tickets. And like, this represents so. many dollars and so many people's lives and livelihoods, she can't just not tour, you know, like I respect saying, like, let's take our foot off the gas a little bit. We're aware of this. We're going to take care of this. She's going to take care of this. But like, you can't demand

right now that she just quits touring because that represents so many people's livelihoods. And I think she's aware of that too, that like she employs hundreds, if not thousands of people through this. Sure. But you could argue why did you guys put her on the tour in the first place? Like, Clearly, she's unwell. I mean, again, I just, like, I want to tread so lightly and you can't win in this conversation. I've seen every different side of it. And then as of this morning, as we record, she came out at one of her shows and spoke directly to the audience. And she said, sometimes when a story comes out that's not directly for me, things can get a little blown out of proportion. So I just want to speak to my fans directly tonight because I love you so much to let you know how I'm feeling, not what the world decided to project on me. She says the announcement that was made was not a reactive or impulsive thing.

It's something I've decided. It's a plan that I quietly made. basically like this came from a thoughtful and empowered place. I want to share this because I heard that my fans were worried that negativity was ruining things for me. But I just have to say that cannot be more the fuck the opposite. I mean, listen, if you really feel like this is a real problem, say your piece and move along. I think people made this their whole personality. I think people triggered by it. Yeah, I get it.

I think that, you know, eating disorders, disorder eating is really systemic in society and talk about women's bodies. And I understand why all these people like force her or support her into doing all these things because they stand to make money. And you saw this with like, on a very small level. You saw this with Taylor Frankie Paul with the entire cast. I mean, she was so clearly right, right, right. On the way to film The Bachelorette. I mean, this is a really mentally unstable person that shouldn't even be on television now. She's in these court cases.

Her children have been taken away from her. Her exes have filed a restraining orders against her. But watching Mormon wives last season, it was a hard watch. And then, I mean, her cast, her parents, all these people are propping up and encouraging her to go do this show where she is clearly she should be hospitalized. But all these people stand to make money from her. Yeah. That is true.

And that's, again, like I like that you brought that up because it's not even about, of course, it's about her body. But it is just more that you can see that someone is unwell in some way. And they are performing, they're making a bunch of money for themselves and others. And they're being propped up and glamorized on TV on a stage, whatever it is. And that's why Mormon Wise was a tough watch as well. You're like, she should not be on TV. So I hope she gets the help she needs.

I mean, and aside from even her body, she's just been scrutinized for her relationships and all these things. I mean, it's gotten really to a breaking point. I really have a lot of empathy for her. It's sad. It's sad to see. I think she represents probably hundreds of millions of dollars and ad dollars. And it's hard to just be like, I'm not going to do this anymore.

You know, I just empathize with the weight of the world on her. And I just hope she gets the help that she needs. People draw comparisons to Amy Winehouse and knowing she was unwell and singing about rehab. have and she died. You know, I think people are drawing comparisons with celebrities and Karen Carpenter that have died and the warning signs were all there. I think people care about their bank accounts more than they care about these people. I think people are just like, she represents a lot of money to me and a lot of livelihoods and it's like, we'll push her to go and go and go until the end. And you just hope that she has people around her that will encourage her to stop and be well.

And the interview with Alex Cooper has gotten a lot of press, a lot of think pieces, a lot of feedback on TikTok. And, you know, I've been familiar with Narra Smith's content for a really long time. If you guys are familiar with her, she makes these very complex, complicated recipes. She is a model. She's married to another model.

They have five kids between the two of them. She's 24 years old. She's quite young. And she does this voice and she's like, my husband, requested gummy bears. So the first thing I did was get clay to make the molds. And once I made the molds, I mean, they live on a farm. They're like homesteaders. And you know, it's, you're kind of watching thinking to yourself like, is this a bit? Because her husband, his name is lucky, he is like Mormon royalty. He comes from, right, they are Mormon. They are Mormon. And they're both very successful

models. And she dresses in these like three, four thousand dollar gowns as she makes these recipes. And so I've never followed her as I don't follow any trad wife content. I mean, I'm familiar with it. We're very familiar with Hannah Nealman from Valerina Farm. And I'm fascinated by these women that sort of promote this trad wife. And if you're not familiar with trad wife, it's short for traditional wife. And this sort of like be submissive to your husband. Women should be barefoot in the kitchen or on their back. Like homeschool your kids, like make everything from scratch. And, you know, I think the hallmark of the trad wife move is that you don't make income. So, you know, you are submissive to your husband, you cook and clean and you make babies, and that's your life. And

people like Norris Smith and Ballerina Farm, I mean, they're millionaires from these brand deals that they do and the content that they make. And they're sort of the opposite of childwives, which is so fascinating because they're promoting this lifestyle. But they're business women. They're independent. They can leave anytime they want. They can take care of their children on their own. They're really tremendously impressive business people with a huge team around them. Right. I mean, read yesteryear if you want an inside look, even though that's allegedly fictional novel, but one of our favorite books of the year. Also, like, if you're a trad wife, actually, you probably don't have Instagram. You probably aren't allowed to have it. You're probably

not on social media. You're too busy making gummy vevers from scratch and taking care of your five children and whatever your husband wants them to do in the bedroom. Like, I remember the first time you sent me in an R Smith video. And I was like, is this real? It's a charity. It's this, it's satire or not. But all the signs were there. I never thought it was real for one second. I mean, She's wearing an evening gown and like I'm yeah and raw milk and the whole thing, which is like, you know, problematic in its own way. But people are upset that she sold them a trad wife lifestyle and is now has gone on to call her daddy and done this interview and is like that's not real. Like she's playing in people's face. So she goes on call her daddy.

She's in jeans and a t-shirt. She looks just down to earth. I've never seen her in jeans. I don't know she owned jeans. And she's basically like, obviously this was fake. I mean, you guys are stupid. She said, like, which tradwife cooks and scapellege gowns? Like, and she's basically saying, like, you guys are stupid for believing this the whole time.

And, you know, there's a lot of different camps and everybody's mad at her. So, you know, the people that actually bought into this are pissed at her. And the people that were like, I always knew this is bullshit are also mad. And they're like, you have made an about face because this isn't as cool as it used to be. And now you're acting like that, you know, you're. you guys are stupid and you guys didn't know this and this is ridiculous and people are like you you move the women's movement back and also her content also has changed since the caller daddy interview and now she did this like come with me for a day in the life and she's like I have a

meeting with my book publisher and then I talk to my agents and now my team comes over and you're like what is happening here yeah so everybody's mad at her from all sides I don't feel sympathy toward people who were duped by an influencer pedaling a regressive lifestyle However, I know that there is our impressionable young women who were like, well, I want to be a stay-at-home girlfriend now. And like, I don't want to ignore that. I don't want to ignore younger women who are heavily influenced by the internet. But to me, it just there is a lack of critical thinking. Like this woman is making tons of money. She's millions of followers.

Like that isn't a tried wife by definition. So let's think a little more critically here. if someone inspires you to live a life a certain type of way that makes you happy, then isn't that a net positive? Like, I understand people feeling duped. I always say the thing that people cannot handle and what gets people canceled forever is when the general public feels they're not who they said they were. Andy Cohen says it all the time. It's really when people feel duped. I think it's the inauthenticity when people are like, we have been tricked by you.

You're not who you said you were. It's not that you made this transgression years past. You made some remarks on Twitter, whatever. I've also think it's ridiculous to cancel people for stuff they said 10 years ago, whatever it may be. But when it's like you sold us something that wasn't real, but to me it felt like a parody. So I never would have thought twice. I mean, I just think as a whole, you have to be discerning with who you follow. There's a lot of grift out there.

You try to think a little critically follow people who appear to be genuine. You won't run into this as much. I think I hear Andy Cohen say this. I've heard Nick Viall say this. People will forgive pretty much any type of feeling on the internet. in television except for when they've been sold a story that they feel like they've been lied to. And I think Nara Smith is like, you know, trad wife influencers don't have to be tradwives. And it's like, you did kind of sell this idea.

And now all of a sudden you're like, you guys are stupid. I really do understand people being pissed. I do too. That's like the golden rule. Like don't tell people like you were dumb for believing me. You were dumb. And it feels like a grift. It feels like there has been a movement against this way of life and encouraging women.

to depend on a man for money. I mean, that's how you and I were raised our entire lives. I've never heard anything. It's like the number one thing my mom never taught me is, God forbid a man leaves you and you have nothing, like make your own money. And I think there's a real pushback against that. Now the content is changed.

So it does feel like a grift. And I don't want to like rag on her so hard. It's just the tone did not land. Yeah. People were just like, I don't want to be called stupid for believing this, for buying into it. And I also do think you should just, you should evaluate things on your own rationally.

Of course, I mean, She's not a proud wife. She was an extremely successful model prior to this. And she will continue to be a wealthy person, married to a wealthy person. They can have as many kids as they want at young ages. But she's not a child wife. She's the opposite of that. So is Hannah Nealman.

So I don't know, you can believe whatever you want. Like you said, if it encourages you to live a life that you enjoy, then that's on you and that's great. But it is interesting to just go on the biggest podcast on earth and be like, you guys are stupid. Yeah. And if you're a person who's like, well, I want to be a tried wife. So who should I follow on Instagram?

And then you get like into that

lifestyle and you're like, oh no. Yeah. And listen, you guys know I feel about women's rights and feminism and the state of the world and all the things. And so I do want to validate that this type of content permeating the internet, this propaganda, if you really want to think of it like that, is problematic. But it's also like, let's not make these people famous then. Yes. I also think of it was just like, listen, yes, it's always been marginally obvious to me that this is a joke. Yeah. Because of the outfits. But nothing else about it feels like a joke to me.

She does live that life. So if it was like 25% more obvious that this is a joke, I would probably have a little less problem with her being like, you guys, come on. Obviously, it's a fucking joke. Because it doesn't feel like it was a joke to you the whole time. It feels like this has become less cool and in vogue. And now you are choosing to be like, you guys are dumb. Right.

Yeah. Well, okay. Well, let's move on. We have some TV to discuss. All right, lots of TV out, movies that are coming out. Thank God, I have had nothing. There was a bit of a dead period. I know. We started aging yesterday. He's like, what are you guys watching? I was like nothing. House of Stasi came out. You can bidge it on Hulu now. It's eight episodes. We had her on the show last week and we just loved it. And it's just a really different type of reality show. It is a full fourth wall break. She is in interviews the whole time saying this is why I cast this person. This is why I created these. dinner parties or cast events. And it's really never been done before to this extent. I mean, on shows like Vanderpump rules towards the end, you had to break the fourth wall because these people were so famous. You could at least acknowledge it. But the fourth wall is sort of like a character throughout this show now.

This is a show about making a show. Yeah. It almost feels documentary style. Yeah. She is in the confessional talking about making the show that then you get to watch. And when she came on our show, which is, again, like Raina said, last Monday's episode, She basically was like, you're going to love or you're going to hate it. And I understand now because it is different.

And they did it really well. If you don't like that, fourth wall break, that is not for you. But they did something different and they did it well. And she is really great at producing reality TV. She's great at being on and pulling the strings. It's shot beautifully. I mean, you really get an insight into her life. And she even said on our show.

I think she thought it was going to be one thing. where she like put Katie Maloney and Christina Kelly back together. She put her husband back with his friend Rob. And I think she thought she was going to kind of, and she says on her show, orchestrate these sort of group dynamics. And what emerged was a pretty intense dynamic between she and her husband. And she was like, you're going to watch this and be like, are you guys okay? I don't think I've ever seen a couple put it out there like that.

I mean, he really just unleashed on her about their marriage problems. And it's so raw. And no matter what feelings you have about it, like they just bled out for the whole world. to see and it's it's a really interesting watch and no matter what you think I mean it's just it's really brave to put that type of stuff out in the world and I think that you want to think that people speak to each other in a certain way in a marriage and that you can tie these things up in a nice bow and it just kind of reminds you that like things are messy and they really focus on our friends Taylor Shreker and Taylor Donahue they call it Taylor Donahue teddy in a show I don't remember why I think it's cute

but the Taylor is we had them on our show when they were filming back in November and we wrapped the episode with them and then we went out to watch the Eagles game with Rob. Yeah. Who's on the show. Oh, yeah. Now we can talk about this. We just, I mean, we love Taylor and Taylor and, you know, they have some pretty tough conversations on the show too.

And it reminds me constantly that like what you see on TV isn't always what's going on to people's lives and when you remove some context. And they're just an amazing couple. And I love them. And they're incredible mothers. And there's an episode where they're basically talking about how Taylor Strucker wants to stay behind in L.A. to keep producing the show with Stasi. And Taylor Donnie was like, we need to go to New York to have our baby.

And it's like a pretty tough conversation. And I saw them last week at the premiere and Taylor Donahue had the baby. And she's like just like exploding with joy to be a mom. And we just love them. I mean, they're just our good friends. We've known them for a long time. And I think they're a great team. And there was some discourse about that conversation that they had on the show.

And I just, you know, I just wanted to like stick up for them and say like they're incredible mothers and an incredible couple. And I just love them on the show. Yeah. And if people are, if they have any criticism about Taylor, Stryker and Stacey and their friendship. It's like they've been best friends for a long fucking time. And if you didn't know that, then you're not a real fan of Stasi in the first place. Like, everybody knows that. And like, Taylor has her own career and they do a podcast together and all the things. But yeah, if you guys

want more from Taylor and Taylor, they were on our podcast towards the end of the year. So just look that up and that was really fun. But what Stasi has done and what the people in her lives have chosen to sign up for, I would never do. And I would never have claimed to do it that she loves doing this shit. She said it on our show. This is her, I forget the quote she just said. She just fucking loves reality TV. You know, like, This is her dream and everybody is on board and like it or don't. But they did a great job. They did.

And the last thing I'll say about this show is so she has her whole family for this like sort of mock Thanksgiving dinner and she's pretty open and raw about her relationship with her mother or lack thereof. And her mother has four kids with four different men. And you know, you see that she's probably been brought up in some dysfunction and she's pretty open and raw about it. And you don't see a lot of like people on television say like I don't really have a relationship with my mother, but I had a child.

and now I have to figure out how to navigate that, allow my mother into my child's life. And, you know, I don't really talk about this on the show, but I don't really have a relationship with my own mother, and I will talk about it someday on this show. I haven't really seen a lot of representations of that on television. And I do kind of thank God that I don't have kids because I don't have to navigate something like that.

I don't have to think how would I fold my mom into that relationship. And it just hit me in the chest to watch that because I haven't really seen that on reality today. And I like thank her for doing that. So that's the last thing I'll say about the show. I just, I really enjoyed that part. It's hard. It's hard to watch. It's sad. But like I love that somebody like went there and did that. Oh, love you. Love you. Okay, well, let's move on to a toxic love story. This is an insane documentary on Netflix. It is 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. I don't know if you like it. I can't tell. Like, so you came over. You were with Shishon and I the other night and you were like, this is fucking crazy. And then we watched it and we were texting with you on the group chat. Like this is fucking crazy. But I can't tell if you, did you like it? I was hooked to the whole. I was hooked to the whole. whole time. It's insane. So this is on Netflix. I'm hooked the whole time. It's about allegedly

this couple and his ex is sort of stalking them and allegedly sending emails to the new girl, the new wife, right? Who's allegedly pregnant. And she is sending all these horrible messages and death threats. And when the documentary opens, the husband and wife are not in the documentary. So immediately, I was like, I bet they're in jail. But the other woman is. So we'll kind of give you high level and then we'll do spoilers if you guys so we can like talk about it but he's a u.s. marshal which is another kind of big layer of it all and his current wife she's pregnant they tell you she's pregnant with twins and she is being stalked and threatened by his ex and it is crazy from the jump but we will do spoilers ahead from here on out if you guys have watched

it so if you've watched it you know that it takes so many different twists and turns you realize that the ex was never doing all of this, even though she goes to jail for four months, they arrest her. And we're watching it, you're like, yeah, fucking arrest her. This psychotic crazy woman, she's dangerous. She's, you know, calling in people off Craigslist to rape this woman, you know, and so they do arrest her. She's in jail for four months. And then they realize she never had anything to do with it. And then they replay back on her relationship. They replay back on the lies that the current wife is told. And she's, you know, this deceitful person, too. You know, You find out she's not pregnant.

And then you think it's the wife that sent these emails to herself, orchestrated. And then they go even deeper. Well, she goes to jail. Yeah, she goes to jail. And then I didn't really realize she copped to it because she was in on it. Right. So anyway, then they realized it was the guy that was the U.S. Marshall, this man named Ian, who was pulling the strings the whole time.

And maybe, I guess, with the intention to send the original girlfriend to jail. Send her to jails. They owned a home together. But also he felt rejected by her in some way because she left the relationship. He was being manipulative. It's hard to even describe because there's so many different twists and turns. Thank God to the investigator that investigated him. You're watching this.

The first half, you're like these fucking worthless cops. And then it all kind of shakes out the way that it should. And they're interviewing the ex the whole time. Yes. And I will say, I feel like there has been a lot of content recently about crazy women. I've mixed feelings on it. maternal instinct. There just seems to be a lot of content

about women as the murderers or the stalkers and all this stuff. There's just been a lot recently. And for me, I don't like that because I don't really like that. It's like women are so crazy and they're the ones doing all this stuff. Now they're not. The majority of all these violent crimes, all the things are men.

But I find it easier to watch because I'm not like scared of it. Weirdly. Oh, interesting. Like this isn't going to happen to you. It's not going to happen to me. I'm not threat. by women. So I'm able to kind of watch these isolated, rare cases of women being the perpetrators because I'm not like really scared of it. Because you know me, I don't like true crime. I don't want to

watch men being rapists and murders and all those things I genuinely am scared about day to day. So I just have had this battle where I'm like, it's a little much with the crazy women lately. But then this ends and it was the man the whole time. Well, okay, here's my problem with this whole thing. Okay. Yeah. Where the fuck was the police work? So the original girlfriend goes to prison for four months. She comes out of prison and she's like, you know, when you understand my story a little better, you understand how this all happened. And she very clearly explains documented incidents where he was violent with her, acted crazy with her, was stalking her. She told her parents. The reason why they sort of like decide it was her as she

had sent two emails a long time ago to him under her normal email address. Like yeah, I didn't send the rest this. Did anybody go through her computer? Did anybody try to figure out where these emails actually came from, which was from him the whole time. Like, did anybody look at police reports of her having a meltdown and her like truly not being okay? When she explains this, I'm like, how did this even go to court? I know, I know. Of course this man is orchestrating this.

And then I watched the tapes of the police going to the couple's house. Yeah. And they don't seem upset. The woman who is allegedly being stalked who's pregnant, she's like, yeah, you know, and her tone of voice, her body language immediately. I was like, she made this up. You can see she just looks fine. She does not seem like something who's being stalked by a predator.

Well, yeah, when they got a competent investigator on the case, he was able to figure it all out. And a lot of it from watching those tapes. But the, 10 minutes into it, you see this tape of the cops coming. And she's like, yeah, you can go to my computer. You know, it's crazy. She keeps sending me these emails. And I'm like, this is not the tone I would be taking if I was being stalked. Yeah, she was upset sometimes.

And when she said that they came and somebody came and tried to rape her, she was attacked her. So then that woman goes to jail. And he doesn't go to jail. And I'm like, did she not flip on him at all? So she ends up in jail. She never at any point says to the police, my husband was in on this.

But were they, they were conspiring together? Yes. Okay. So she did have to cop to it. Yes. She goes to jail. But never threw him under the bus.

What was that about? That's what I'm saying? Like there's these plot holes here. It's really. Yeah. It's crazy. Like, how did this happen? And I don't care he's a U.S. Marshall.

She still could have been like, go through his, just grab his computer. Grab his computer. You'll see they hire these people on Craigslist. You'll see these sent these emails. Right. It would have taken 30. She wanted to protect him.

You should have put women on this case and this would have been solved. Put a sorority sister on this case. It would be solved in 12 minutes. I mean, I'm with you. It was still a great watch. It's just like we don't get like surprised and shocked. That's not true. I was going to say we don't really get surprised and shocked anymore.

But maternal instinct, that was also. I mean, they're really coming out with this stuff. The other one I was trying to that I was trying to remember was the crash with McKenzie Shurilla where. So it's just a lot of these like women are fucking murders and crazy, you know. And again, it's like I don't like that. I don't like where we're going with that. but it is easier for me to consume.

So it still doesn't make me scared of women. But I like that this one ended the way it should have. Yeah, with a man in jail. You know, it made no fucking sense. But check it out, you guys. It's on Netflix. It's a great watch. Like 90 minutes.

It's a really good watch. Yeah. And that I was watching Widows Bay. And I really did enjoy it. That was a really popular show. It was on Apple. It started really strong. Shisham kind of really very into it.

Yeah. I'm getting excited to watch it. And then it ended fine. It ended really on a cliffhanger. You know, there will be a season too. and it went a little off the rails, but I still did enjoy it. So I'm curious what you guys thought of Widows Bay.

Again, I think as a whole, I would say we like enjoyed that show. And just a couple of things to, you know, keep an eye out for that are coming out tomorrow. A movie about Anthony Bourdain, it's called Tony is coming out. And it's a dramatization of his life. There's with actors. And it is also just scoring as high as it possibly can on Rotten Tomatoes. People are saying it's incredible. I mean, he just means so much to me.

How he lived his life means so much to me. No reservations is how I started to travel. I would pick a city I wanted to go to around the world. I would watch the No Reservation's episode and I would go to all the places that they went to. And just his philosophies on life, I just, I don't know, he's a really important person in the world to me. And so I'm just very, very excited to watch it.

People love it. I love dramatizations about the Chef World in general. I love his books. Honestly, like his books are some of my favorite books that I've ever read. I just think he's so amazing. So I'm very excited for that movie. If you guys watch it tomorrow, let us know what you guys thought.

And then another movie, it's not coming out until October, but it has gotten the trailer dropped and it has just like swept the world. And that is Wicker. So it's like a romantic, raunchy fantasy. It's starring Olivia Coleman. And she looks like she's in sort of like an old-timey village. And she's just like older single spinster. And she goes in the village to Peter Dinklage, who is just, I don't know, a magician or something. And she's like, I want you to build me a husband.

And he builds her a husband out of Wicker. And the husband is Alexander Scarsgard. What? And wait, okay. Sorry, I have seen that image and just ignored it. I know that feeling where you're like, my brain just isn't going to accept this information. I'm not going to be doing it. I'll tackle this later.

Yep. So Alexander Scar's card and the trailer is so horny. She's just like fucking out. She fucks this wicker guy. And like it's so horny. And all I think is like, does a wicker dick? All I can think is what does a wicker dick feel like? And like, what are they wrap it in?

I mean, multiple sources have said this. And I do think that he's just constantly shitting his diaper.

I think this is a man that really never got potty trained. I think he had parents. I think he had parents who didn't care about him. He probably wet the bed, his whole childhood. And like he's a person who's like, I'm not going to wipe myself. Like I think Donald Trump has been in diapers probably for most of his life. And he's not really potty trained. And now he's old and it's even worse.

Trump has ever been potty trained. So anyway, he is just constantly shitting his diaper. I mean, you guys should watch press conferences and just always look at the people behind him. Yeah. They are always like fighting for their lives. It's insane to watch. I mean, and then you can tell like when he farts because like it will wash over their faces.
