What up to the legends of the Going Deep podcast?
I'm talking about the Stokers.
Thank you for tuning in to this broadcast.
I'm here with my compadre, Jean-Domas.
What up?
Boom, clap, Stokers.
And this is the most popular podcast in SoCal.
Welcome.
Ah, dude, good to see you.
Good to see you as well, man.
This is our first time catching up since you returned from your honeymoon.
Yeah, yeah, big honeymoon.
Dude, big weight.
Dude, so I got to say up top, JT, you crushed the officiating.
Thank you, man.
It was, it was, it was epic.
We were so pumped.
You know, I felt very honored to be up there with you guys.
It was probably one of the more special moments in my life.
Yeah.
And the amount of love that I felt flowing out of you guys,
it was really beautiful to witness.
And your guys' vows were spectacular.
Oh, thank you, man.
You really went deep.
Uh-huh.
And then Kennedy went into like flow state.
She, she did.
She ripped it off the dome.
It was unbelievable.
Yeah.
And some of the things you guys said were just, yeah.
You know what?
I don't even want to repeat them because to repeat them would be to give it away.
And it just felt so special.
Yeah.
And it was such a fun wedding.
It was an absolute ring a ding ding ding blast from front to back.
Dude, it was awesome.
And you know what?
We were like, when we, when we got there, I had nerves about like getting the vows right.
And then there's some like, you know, she's like, we do speak.
We do spoken vows and then written vows.
And I'm like, and then gifts and all this stuff.
And just getting everything coordinated.
But once the ceremony was going like, once we were taking photos, all the groomsmen and my family.
And once that started, I had a corona.
I was just kind of cruising them.
when the ceremony started, it was just epic after that.
It was really epic.
Yeah, it was fun.
I think, yeah, everyone there is, because you know what?
Like, Candide, we don't really throw parties.
So I was like, I was like, I don't know, you know, this like,
I know like our friend groups are similar, but I was like, I don't know if like this, like,
you know, I don't know what this is going to be like merging these groups together.
but everyone got along so well
Not a bad egg in the bunch
Everyone was just awesome
Everyone was just fired up
The Parker is such a sick venue
Like you're in an oasis
It feels like you're sucked into a world
In Palm Springs
And then
Like our DJ, AC
Great guy
Great guy shout out Vox DJs
Check him out
He's a Manhattan Beach legend
Do you I tell you how I'm
Yeah, I met him in the water at El Porto and he's like, I would DJ weddings.
I'm like, brother, he got the job.
And, dude, it was awesome.
He was so amped too.
He was so am.
It didn't feel like a DJ where it's like, oh, we hired this guy to do a thing.
It felt like he was part of the group.
Yeah.
And, yeah, we were so psyched.
You know, he was playing guitar in the lobby until like three in the morning.
That's hilarious.
Yeah, he was ripping Santa Ria.
It was a good time.
Dude, he's awesome, dude.
He was a lot of fun.
Yeah. So yeah, we had a great time.
Yeah, so it was definitely, we couldn't believe it.
After the ceremony, like, I was nervous about, you know, like during the rehearsal, they're like,
are you going to do the dip?
So I was super nervous about the dip.
I saw you practicing.
Yeah, so like the dip is, you know, for those of you don't know, it's when you walk down
the aisle after you're married photo moment, do you do a kiss or do you do a dip and kiss?
we were nervous because we were like trying the dip in rehearsal and people were like that's not a good dip
and i was like fuck and candy got kind of like nervous everything's stressful it's and yeah but i learned
you know you got i really planted that left leg you plant that leg and you dip and you and you just do
it and once we did the dip i was like we did it when your guys is uh the choreography you did for your
first dance was phenomenal. Oh, it was so fun. And the moves were great. Yeah. And you were strong,
dude, you were doing lifts and stuff like that. And I was like, dude, you looked powerful.
Oh, thanks, man. I was nervous about that. I was nervous about dropping her. You do the dip and you drop her.
Yeah, like, and then the moves, you know, I dropped her on the dance floor. She was like,
that would be funny. I'm like, yeah, but if you get injured, it's not funny. You got to risk the
biscuits sometimes. Yeah. Yeah, we had three, three lifts in there. Uh, show.
Shout out Chrissy. She choreographed it.
Great. She's awesome.
And, yeah, it was a blast.
It was so much fun. You two were also probably the most laid-back groom and bride I'd ever been around.
Oh, thanks, man.
My brother and Becker were also super laid-back.
I was lucky, too.
Like, the weddings I've been involved in.
Just great people, super-loven.
So it's been a smooth ride.
But even, like, you're such a laid-back, dude.
Like, on the day of the wedding, we were all the groomsmen were like,
are we going to go meet up with Chad?
And it was just like, kind of do what you want.
But then thank goodness for your brother Mark.
Yeah, yeah.
He's steered everything.
He's like, we're meeting here.
We're doing this.
Yeah, yeah.
And then in quintessential Mark fashion, he was like, we're working out.
We're hitting the steam room.
Yeah.
I was like, all right, cool.
Yeah, we're locked in.
He's so funny because he's like, he stressed me out because he's like,
he's like, what are we doing today?
I'm like, I don't know.
Because for me, you know, before you're nervous.
I just want to sit in a room by myself.
Yeah, work on your stuff.
Yeah.
and just like lay there and um he's like you need to hang out with everyone so I'm like all right
the pool he's like all right we do the pool for how long and I'm like I don't know and so I was like
yeah let's do the pool at uh you know what it was it like noon or something that was awesome did the pool
and everyone's having a good time I was kind of nervous you know I was kind of just
you seemed nervous you seemed good yeah I was just in my head I was just kind of like and um
but my brother he's like very adamant he's like they're here for you need to hang out
Um, so yeah, the pool, pool was good.
And then, uh, yeah, getting ready.
I was so nervous.
Dude, I've been having nightmares that still that my hair wasn't ready for the wedding.
It looked perfect in all the photos.
Oh, thanks, man.
I was really, that was, that was, you're so photogenic.
Like, you really pop in all the photos.
Oh, thanks, man.
That's very sweet.
Yeah, the photos were great.
The one that you're in, that was a great photo.
Oh, the one where we're up there and we're waiting.
Yeah.
Yeah, that was beautiful.
Brad Fuller shout out.
Um, he wanted me to send photos.
I sent the one.
Oh yeah, that's awesome.
Yeah.
It was really great, man.
It was such a, and the party was awesome, dude.
The dance floor was lit.
Yeah.
People were getting after it, like getting after it, after it.
Our agent almost fainted.
I might have had a hand in that.
People were trying to blame me.
Dude, I heard that.
Like, I didn't, we, Kenny, I didn't know this until we were on our honeymoon.
I didn't want you to.
You were freaking out.
Can you talk about it?
Yeah, yeah, go.
You were freaking out.
You gave some people mushrooms.
I brought shrooms.
At first, I didn't, at first I didn't take any.
I was just giving them out.
And they were not, I got them at a store, so I thought they'd be, you know, really regulated,
which was so stupid on my part.
Like, there's no regular.
Yeah.
They were not dosed properly.
People were losing their minds.
That is so funny.
So I'm taking care of.
My brother did like three.
He's got a strong constitution.
I'm like holding him on a hammock.
We're just looking up at the stars.
Great brotherly moment.
Yeah.
It's so beautiful.
Yeah.
I love that guy so much.
And then I just hear, Sean, get up.
Sean, get up.
Get him water.
I'm like, what's going to come over.
Yeah.
And the schmull's like, he's fainting.
You got to do something.
And then it was cool.
Me and Sean kind of mind melded.
He said we had a telepathic connection and we just kind of like help nurse them back.
Yeah.
But they were too strong.
People were getting rocked.
Kevin handled it really well.
He took some?
I think he took one.
And he wrote it out beautifully.
He said it was easy, peasy for him.
Yeah.
That's good.
But I took one at like three in the morning.
I was done.
Yeah.
And then one of the bridesmaids and her boyfriend peer pressure me.
I normally never succumb to peer pressure.
sure. But whatever it was in this moment, I popped one and holy God, bro. Yeah. Holy, dude, I was
freaking out all night. It was like five at three a. Maybe like one in the morning and it hit it like
2, 2.30. Okay. Yeah. I was walking around our room in circles and I was turning to my wife and I was like,
I don't want to be annoying. And you don't have to like pander to me, but am I going to lose my mind?
What, did it feel like shrooms or did it feel like? Yeah, it felt like I took like three. And the,
And the Parker has those crazy designs.
Yeah.
And so there was no safe place to go.
Yeah.
And I was like, I think I was like, I'm going to go in the bathroom and maybe like masturbate or something.
She's like, okay, weirdo.
And then I went in there.
But the room was too scary.
There was like mirrors and gold and stuff.
I was like, so I ended up walking.
And I couldn't keep her awake.
We had to drive back the next day.
So I walked down into the main area.
And it was four.
This is this.
I'm going to do a bit about this.
This is what being on shrooms is like when you're almost 40 and you have a family.
I was outside on the grass going like this.
I need this to be over.
I'm done with this.
I don't like this anymore.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But every time I closed my eyes, it was like buzz saws were going off.
Oh, hilarious.
But you know what?
It was still great.
I learned some good things.
Me and her connected on some stuff that maybe it opened it up to me and it.
It didn't dent the hang at all.
It was all kind of fun actually.
Yeah, yeah.
It just added to what was one of the most spectacular weddings that I've been to.
Oh, thank you, man.
Yeah, I saw the video Strider and checked scissoring.
I haven't seen you seen that.
Oh, dude, so funny.
I've seen the one where striders like super athletic bouncing on the floor.
Yeah, I think it's AI.
Is that AI?
think so. Because he's so bouncy. It looks amazing.
Yeah, and he is athletic. He is strong, but I'm like, dude, that's a tough move.
Okay, we need confirmation from the boys then.
Yeah, because I think Jimmy, I think it's a, but dude, if it's not, it's unbelievable.
It's incredible. Jimmy was great, too. He got the DJ to do, he got him to do one more song, which was huge.
You always need one more song. And then Nikki Stacks, did he check out early? I think we lost him, right?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think he was hammered it. Yeah, because he was, like, he was, like, he was,
like he's very sweet guy he's getting like kind of like at dinner he was like getting very like
emotional yeah like um deep deep conversation which like i think for him is kind of indicative of
heavy drunkenness right he was and he went so hard the first night he needed kind of a breather by night
too yeah probably yeah he was ripping and roaring it was great though man so much fun great stories forever
All the parts that you guys put together, the white party was awesome.
The food was great.
Food was great.
Yeah, that food was awesome.
The Parker, they really crush it.
They do a great job.
Yeah.
And then I can't say enough about you and Kennedy.
You guys are just such a beautiful couple.
Yeah, we were so happy.
It was a, yeah, afterwards we were like, we couldn't believe how fun it was, how well it went.
Because you're just stressing about it.
and um but once we were going or like this is awesome and then some people were like you know
i think a lot of people were like like some of kennedy's like neighbors who came were like
or like this wedding made us want to be like better as a couple and stuff which is like cool to hear
there was a real vibe to it yeah a lot of your family extended everybody was coming up and
be like this is special yeah i think uh this whole thing that you know you've built through
your expression that you and Kennedy have developed with each other.
I think it's a, you can feel it, you can see it, you can kind of interpret it when you're around it.
And it was cool how powerful it translated to everybody.
Thanks.
Yeah, yeah, I think she's just so, has such a pure heart and she's so sweet.
Like we were in Hawaii and like a beetle like flew into her soup or champagne or something.
And it was like kind of like struggling to get out and she's like petting it.
I'm like, and like that
and we saw Brad because he
he basically lives. Oh, you saw him in
Hawaii? Yeah, we saw him in. He basically lives
in Waila now, on Maui.
He must look perfect out there.
Oh, he's, I think he's in heaven.
He's like, it's tough to work here.
Was he wearing linen?
He's wearing linen, flip-flops.
That's awesome. Good tan. I can picture it.
He's such a cool guy. He's the man.
And yeah, I think they
kind of notice like
She's just such a
Kennedy
just with everyone
Like we made a bunch of friends
In Maui
Because of Kennedy
You know like she like she just like is so
Open
And kindhearted
I think people are just drawn to that
So yeah
I'm really
I'm really lucky
You guys are a great couple man
She's wonderful
Yeah
Yeah we were stoked
You guys
It's a very like
Gentle nurturing love
It's beautiful to just
Even stand near it
It was beautiful
You can feel it.
It radiates off you guys.
And your vows were killer, man.
Oh, thanks.
Really beautiful stuff.
Stuck with me.
Thanks, man.
Yeah, I was trying to, I was like, I was like, I don't want to, I was like, I was like, I was like, for me, I was like, for my vows, I was like, I felt like it was more important to be sincere than funny.
Yeah, I like that you went there.
Yeah.
Because I was like, people are like, are you going to be funny?
I'm like, doesn't seem right to be like, especially, just given our relationship, it doesn't seem right to be like jokey during vows.
No, it felt like you were playing straight to her.
what was so beautiful about it.
Like, it felt like it was only you two
in the room in a way that felt really special.
Thanks, man.
Yeah, and then Lola did a great job.
Great job.
She stepped up huge.
Lola was the ring girl.
Dude, the dog sitter for Lola,
the Shadow Eye Dog 2, she crushed it.
She, like, she's so good with dogs.
She was, like, bringing around for photos.
She got all these photos while we were getting ready.
She got photos with everyone.
And she had, like,
And she knows how to handle dogs.
So she was like very like, she was just on top of it.
So it was a good investment for sure.
That's awesome.
Yeah.
How was the honeymoon overall?
It was good, man.
We, you know, we were on Maui, just living it up.
We did some snorkeling.
That was awesome.
Did some surfing.
We ate a lot of food, watched some football, watch the Raiders game.
Dude, when we showed up there, there's no power.
what was going on there's a hurricane that went by like the nina yeah whoa and uh what else do we do
we we i went i went foiling um yeah this guy he's like he's like hey man i'm he's like hey man i'm a
local i'll take you foiling i'm like cool what's your rate he's like just pay me what you want
and i'm like all right and i kept asking i'm like dude what's your rate and he's like it doesn't
matter man i'll donate it i'm like all right and so he takes his four
It's kind of, he's like, I'll take you on tour and it ends up being like all day where he's like, I'll take you here and there.
But it was like kind of like we're just sitting at the house and then we're just like at the beach for like hours.
I'm like, can we just foil him?
And that was the payment.
Yeah.
And then he's like, he's like, he's like, send me your Venmo.
I'm like, send me your Venmo and he's like, so I pay him.
I look up like the rate for like efoiling lessons.
I pay him that rate.
Oh, you're a good man.
And then he's like, hey man, can we kind of a little bit more?
I'm like, and then he messages me the next day.
He's like, he's like, hey, man.
So I talked to my financial advisor.
I'm like, okay.
And he goes, you know, given like the time and the value of the boards,
he was saying that it should be like $1,500 or more.
What?
Yeah.
What?
He was like the last tour we went on.
We didn't even foil.
They gave us $4,000.
I'm like,
you should sue this guy.
I'm like,
I guarantee.
I'm guarantee.
People did not pay you $4,000.
Just get this text like,
like where it's just like goes from like,
don't even worry about it.
I'll donate.
And then and then the penny is like,
it should be $1,500 or more.
I'll donate all of it.
I'm like,
then send me the link to do.
I just didn't respond.
Yeah, smart.
so ridiculous but like he's foiling over here right now yeah he's foiling yeah I was nervous
because like you know I was like it was like our last night I was I was pissed at first
yeah he put some stress into your trip yeah I'm like what the fuck and and I'm like I'm like
dude I mean one like yeah and uh and he has a financial advisor yeah it's so stupid is that common
for foiler and yeah it's good he's like the financial advisors to my company I'm like what
We like we met up at your house and you were drinking tequila.
He was drinking.
I wasn't.
He was drinking on the job.
We paid for his tequila.
And you've given surf instructions.
Like you're kind of aware of the economics.
Yeah.
$1,500.
Yeah.
And can I say something that's not that important but worth noting?
The footage of you foiling is sick.
It is sick.
But he didn't get that footage.
Kennedy did.
Oh, she shot that?
Yeah, yeah.
Oh, my, that's coming out, pro radio.
Yeah, yeah.
We fooled for like an hour.
It ended up being like an eight hour day.
I wish we could clip this, but I don't want to put the guy on blast too hard.
Yeah, yeah.
I think I'll turn to do a bit at some point.
That is really funny.
But I was nervous like, you know, but I think probably he has a, you know, a reputation for being kind of like around the, he must because.
There's guys like that, right?
Yeah, because I-
They buddy you up up top and then the bill comes later.
Totally.
And, and, but I was nervous about like,
just making an enemy on the island?
Sure.
Because he knew a hotel.
Small island, bro.
Yeah.
And I was like, I was like, dude, I don't want to like,
because I was like, I want to go surfing.
I don't want to run to these, you know, I doubt anyone.
Okay, Hallie.
Yeah.
You come over here, use our stuff?
Yeah, yeah.
You don't pay me?
You don't pay me 10 grand?
You don't pay me 10 grand?
Gritty kind, huh?
Yeah.
But I just didn't respond and I haven't heard from him yet.
But, you know, I'm, now I'm on the mainland, so.
But it was, uh.
You got an ocean between.
It was hilarious.
I was so pissed at first.
I was like,
because we were driving to Brad's,
I was like,
what the fuck?
That's so sick Brad lives out there now.
Who are his buddies out there?
So we hung out with his other buddy,
Jeff Falk,
Jim Falk.
Have you seen Jim Falk, Lexus?
Oh, yeah, yeah.
He owns all the,
he owns all the,
oh, he looks like a great hang.
Dude, he's so mellow.
He was like the chillest dude of all time,
And he owns like all the car dealerships on Maui.
Does that, does being, them living there, did you notice?
I mean, you couldn't tell Jim because it was first time hanging boat.
Did you notice that Brad was like, he's always been pretty relaxed, but was even more relaxed.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, I imagine it would do that.
He was kind of like, he's like, this is it.
Yeah, he did it.
And then he's just like, I don't want to go back to L.A.
It's understandable.
Yeah.
I was, you know, Candy and I were like, our life goal is to get a place and,
Hawaii. That'd be beautiful, man.
Hell yeah. I love it out there.
Yeah, Jim Fault, great guy.
I think, you know, this is a broader point, too.
I do think L.A. is meant for, because people are always like,
L.A. is falling apart, blah, blah, blah.
A lot of that is true.
We have, like, for the taxes we pay, we don't get the services we deserve.
But I would say it's meant for people in their 20s.
Yeah.
Like, this is a place you come to to make your dreams happen.
Yeah.
You're living four to a place.
Everybody's trying to, you know,
cut out this identity that's going to ring out to the world.
That's something you do when you're younger.
And when I go out sometimes,
it's actually like me and Strider went out on Friday night
and we went to a bar in Atwater.
We got after it.
Ran into Alex Hanna,
great guy.
Went out with our buddy Joe Pelazone legend.
Got tied on a good one.
It was going off.
Yeah.
It's booming.
And if you go out to Venice,
it's booming.
But it's just,
it's people younger than me.
Yeah,
totally.
Yeah.
And so I have 40-year-old friends
who are like,
this place sucks now.
I'm like,
we're 40, dog.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, totally.
It's going to catch up to you.
Yeah.
Where's that, how are the, how is their vibe partying, the young guys?
They were great.
Everyone's just having a ball.
I try to talk to people a lot.
I think when we were at Ye Rustic, met some cool dudes.
And then when we were at, um, club Tiji and Atwater, I talked to two trans people.
That was fun.
Yeah.
And they were kind of just giving me the rundown.
They were like, how would you feel if someone, like,
misgendered you and called you she.
Yeah.
And I was like, I think I could react a lot of different ways,
depending on who the person was and what I felt like their intent was.
But I was like, if you guys said it, I'd probably be flattered.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And I feel like it was in good spirit.
But like if I felt like it was some alpha dude trying to disrespect me,
I'd probably have something to say.
Right, right, right.
Yeah, that makes sense.
I don't know if they really registered where I was coming from on it,
but we had a spirited conversation.
Oh, that's awesome.
Yeah, it was fun.
Um, I, can I tag one joke too?
Can we, look, can we do this?
like a bit yeah oh I'll put my shades on for this I met one really nice guy he rustic
too is a he's a big fan of ours he's a DP I think he'd be a cool guy to a
he lives on Hawaii half the time really yeah yeah and he was saying
productions down out there though oh I bet but he works on a lot of small projects he
says they do a lot of indie stuff out there nice but I think the big shows are kind of
like Hawaii 5 oh yeah like it went lost to Hawaii 5 oh yeah I think they had some
Magnum PI I'm not sure if they found like a
Magmany PI gone.
I think that's gone
and I don't know where they're shooting
the Scott Speedman show
but I feel like that's a Florida show
he was an awesome dude though
show is made to Hawaii
Lost Wi-5-0
Rescue High Serve
Oh yeah that one's still going
It's filmed on the North Shore
Oh
That's good
That's got to change the
geography a little bit
All right here we go
Here's just my bit
Yeah so Chad
I was super honored
You asked me to officiate
your wedding but um i was disheartened and deeply disappointed that you didn't let me see a free
Palestine at the beginning i know you mentioned it i'm sorry that's the whole bit is there do you want me
to respond to you know try try one where you make a face like like feel like you're ed sharon and
you're just getting caught for the first time publicly and you didn't expect me to say this yeah yeah
yeah chat i was super honored you asked me to officiate your wedding but i was deeply disappointed
because I care about you like a brother
that you didn't allow me to say free Palestine.
Well, dude, I brought it up to the venue
and they said,
specifically, if you have that kind of rhetoric at your wedding,
we will not allow it to be there.
Whoa.
And so I was kind of at the whim
of a big wedding venue.
Look, man, I'm not mad at you.
You're my friend and I understand you're on a lot of pressure.

Yeah, you can leave it there.
Are the people of Palestine.
All said.
Well, I also want you to know, I've been asked to officiate other weddings as a result.

Really?
Yeah.

So my wife and I, we love being spiritual. For sure. We love crystals. And for our wedding
gifts, people are like, what do you want? Thank you. For a wedding gift, people are like,
what do you want? Do you want money? I said no. Send us Citrine for prosperity. And they're like,
well what about cash?
I'm like, I don't want cash.
I want abundance.
You know?
Yeah, because once they give you money, that's finite.
Yeah.
But if they give you prosperity, that's abundant.
Dude, if our house is just filled with citrine crystals,
imagine the abundance that's going to come to us.
Yes.
That's going to be like a prosperity vortex.
And we're just super on top of it, you know?
Like the other day I came home and she's like,
you have a bad energy stuck to you.
And I was like, what?
How? She's like, my coworker sensed it. I'm like, where did I get it? She's like, New Orleans.
And I was like, well, sage me right now, babe. I can't believe she even let me walk into the house with that.
With New Orleans on me? No disrespect to the city. But everyone knows. There's some gnarly energy lurking around there.
For sure. That's what jazz makes happen.
That's a great button.
Dude, okay, two things.
This isn't even a bit.
Guys, I want to thank the Stokers.
I want to thank you to,
I was being a fucking huge bitch
on the last pod
about running for city council.
It was genuine.
I was having a little bit
of a dark night of the soul.
And I'm glad I was open about it.
But look, to take on this calling,
you can't do it reluctantly.
You need to stand strong
and you need to believe in it.
because it deserves to be believed in.
And people are putting their faith in you, and that means something.
So I did the first debate, and I think I was a little weak.
And I even did a couple jokes at my own expense, and I was like too self-deprecating.
The second debate was last night, and I was nervous as shit.
I thought I was going to puke.
But guess what?
I like that.
And I went into that debate, and I didn't glad hand with the other candidates.
Because sometimes they'll be buddy-buddy with you, but I think it's to honestly keep you from being competitive, which is fine.
But I was like, no, I'm not doing that.
I walked in there.
They had my seat to the side.
I was like, everybody moved down.
Make room for me.
Bang.
I took my seat.
And I don't, if you watch the debate, I don't think you'll be like blown away by me.
But I was like very proud of myself because I just said what I meant.
I believed in the policies.
I called out other people for bad policies, not an aggressive way, but just things that I don't
think are going to work for the city.
And I felt like I really stood there and, and said the things that needed to be said in the
way they needed to be said.
And I'm glad I did that and I feel empowered by it and I'm ready for the rest of the race.
Bring it on.
So you've had two debates so far.
Yes.
How's the rest of the campaign going?
It's going well.
I mean, I think I'm going to do an event at Flappers.
They said that they want to endorse me, which is cool.
I'm doing an event there.
There's different stuff coming up where I think I can get my name out there.
A lot of it, honestly, I don't know if you can win going door to door.
I just don't know if the numbers work out because you just can't knock on 50,000 doors.
Yeah.
It really comes down to social media.
So I got to cut clips from the debate.
I got to put it out there and hope it rings out that way.
Totally.
I think like two camera videos too.
That's the way you got to do it, which I like the door-to-door stuff.
Yeah.
But it's just you just don't get enough return on it.
Like you can't get the critical mass you need to win the election.
Yeah.
And I think too like kind of like when you're, you know, you're out there in Burbank,
you know, there's like a certain issue and you're like maybe you're like in the
mix. Yes. And you're like, you're like, look at this, you know, look at this lack of theater
that's going on here. There's, it's all gun stores. There's no theater. Yes. We need to put the
art entertainment. There's a lot of money in live entertainment. Yeah. And there's a lot of freaking
out because Burbank media capital of the world. We're going to be the headquarters for the Olympics
because their power never goes out. That's part of the reason they want to work with us. But
I think a lot of people are like, what are we going to do? How do we keep the industry jobs?
How do we keep this? I'm like, dude, I work in the creator economy. We need to, we need to cater to
that. We need to have same-day permitting. We need to have pre-cleared zones where people can shoot.
We need to be bringing that business here and making us friendly to the talent that's in the city.
I don't know if the studio system is going to work out. But people are still going to want
entertainment. 56% of Gen Z says they relate more to social media characters than they do film characters.
So how do we take advantage of that? We've got Jake here. We've got you here. We've got talent.
All right. Now let's make this a good place for business, which some of these candidates don't want to do.
They say they're pro business. They are not. It's lip service.
Dude, say that to camera.
Bang.
And I'm serious about this shit.
Let's fucking go.
Dude, clip that.
Let's fucking go.
Be where the puck's going, not where it is.
All right, now we've got to talk about something that's been going on in the comedy community.
Sebastian Man of Scalco.
Yes.
Put these comedians back on that serious XM channel or I will fucking kill you.
That's the energy sometimes, right?
It's tough because I think these comedians are, all the comedians are right?
Like that is such a bummer and it's so hard to make a nickel doing comedy.
I think it's hard for non-comedians to like care if comedians lose a little bit of bread.
Because they're like, dude, you're trying to be a comedian.
Like that's a job that you go into-
It's not essential.
Yeah, and you go into it not expecting to make a living.
Like you're chasing your dream.
So like you can't be mad if you don't get your dream.
That's the majority of people.
But the more I think about it, like as a comedian, he should be looking out for comedians.
It's just hard too because the videos aren't funny.
So then I'm like, you're also a comedian.
Like the way you can improve your business is by being funny.
But I do the same thing.
I take myself very serious at times as well.
Right.
And it's a serious issue.
But I think you made the best point in the text thread where you were like,
dude, we got to go over there and just rim them.
Yeah.
Oh, got to give credit to Kevin.
Did Kevin bring up the rimming first?
I guess Kevin rimmed Sebastian last night.
Oh, okay.
That's what he said.
Sorry.
And that's my bad in trying to discredit the Schmole.
Allegedly. You know, I'm just paying fealty to the king here, but that is very smart by Kevin.
Because I think a lot of these comedians in the video, the thing that kind of turns me off, even though I agree with them.
Yeah. Is that there's an undercurrent of like, or else. Yeah. You know, like, hey, Sebastian, you'll be exiled from the tribe. Yeah.
Which I understand. They're standing up for our own and they're like, we got to look out for everybody. That's a good place to come from.
But you get more of flies with honey. Like, it should have been a backroom deal. Maybe people weren't aware of this, but like,
Five comics should have driven over to Sebastian's house and been like, this is why you should keep the comedians on there.
I just don't like the social media shaming part of it.
Yeah.
But if all the comedians went over there and they worked it out of them and then they rimmed him, whether it was literally or metaphorically.
Yeah.
Like just make the deal happen.
Don't always, you know, go into the, but, you know, it's great like seeing Dan Soder and these other comedians stand up for comic.
It's great.
It's awesome.
But, uh, yeah, I was curious if like how it came about, you know, did,
Did everyone come together like, hey, this is going on?
We need to put out videos.
I've heard that.
Or did they try to talk to Sebastian?
And he wasn't playing ball?
That could be true too.
Yeah.
Or, you know, it's like, or did they, you know, do what should have been done and go over,
rimmed him a little bit, and then had the conversation.
I think, yeah.
One comedian said this has been going on behind the scenes, and that's why the effort felt so coordinated when it came out.
Right.
I would be curious.
is I don't know.
With a lot of these stuff,
a lot of this stuff we don't know.
Yeah.
It's a,
it's,
I'm interested to see how it plays out.
And,
you know,
it's me calling upon the comedy community too.
If you need me to go over there and rim him,
I will.
Your soldier.
And I would,
I would posit this to the audience then,
or posit a query.
What to you was more compelling?
Me saying I was going to show,
shoot Sebastian or Chad saying he was going to rim him.
Because this is more of a rimming podcast.
Yeah. Oh, this is a full-time rimming.
Yeah, we're like, hey, we get our way by rimming.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And other people are like, we get our way by busting a cap.
Yeah.
And both ways are valid.
But for me, I'm about licking butt.
That's how I like to get stuff.
Guys, so I want to tell you a story.
I was using a certain product for my flow,
and I talked about it on the pod,
and people were like, dude, what are you doing?
That's hurting your hair.
There's a lot of hair products are out there
where the ingredients in there are hurting your hair.
They might be making your flow disappear.
People aren't talking about that enough,
but you know what?
These guys from Highland style,
I'm talking about Boone and Ben,
They politely roasted me.
They're like, dude, what are you doing?
You got to hop on to Highland Style.
Highland style uses ingredients that are good for your hair.
This is like a brand you can trust.
They're good dudes.
Colorado, shout out.
I use the glacial cream in my flow, and it just makes it feel nice and good.
I use their shampoo.
It's awesome, smells good, feels good.
They're condition.
Dude, I've never had condition like this.
Like, you got to try it.
It makes your hair feel silky and smooth.
I love it.
Highland style is awesome if you're looking to style your flow, wash your flow, condition your flow.
Go to Highland.
Style and use code go deep for 20% off your first order.
I mean, I gotta say this just to like, you know, I love being married.
Not because of that, it's just I'm stoked on it.
Like, you know, it's funny is like a lot of people, you know, most people were like very, very,
super excited and I think there's I think there is like a sentiment in our culture that there
people are like you got married big mistake or like you know people like you're like what
about the divorce rates and all that kind of stuff and there's kind of a like I think I
think like the culture kind of like used marriage more negatively than positively yeah but I
I mean, I'm only, you know, a weekend, but I love it.
You're made for it.
I think it's great.
You're a very loyal, loving person.
Yeah, and I think, too, like, you know, like this one guy goes, big mistake, buddy.
I'm like, I'm like, why?
Because we got tax incentives and we share health insurance.
Bang.
Like, we've been living together for four years.
So it's not any difference.
It's just, you know, legally recognized.
So I don't know.
I just, I think there's too much marriage shame out there.
I think...
This will be a good bit.
Yeah, I think there's too much marriage shame out there.
And I think people should, you know, stop looking at the negative so much.
Obviously, don't be reckless about it.
It's Chelsea Handler's fault.
Yeah, it's Chelsea Handler's fault.
Don't be reckless, but, dude, if you find the right person, it's awesome.
So I just want to go on record and I think, I want to say that marriage is awesome.
If you find the right person, you should do it.
Having a ring is sick.
I feel I feel great and yeah I think I think those institutions epic so I don't really have a joke for that I just I'm stoked on it I mean it's life affirming it's beautiful yeah I you know I think the joke is how right you are yeah and you know and to the other side of this too none of my I realize this I'm 38 none of my boys are divorced yeah how wild is that yeah that's awesome they're all crazy
loyal and loving. I almost want to be the first one to get divorced just to let them know it's possible.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just to, I don't even want to get divorced, but just to say, hey, boys, you can do this
if you want to. I know you have kids. I know you're married. I know it'll be hilarious on you
financially, but it's up to you. I just want people to know that. It is up to them. Totally.
You'll never get divorced. Do knock on wood. See, because you don't even want to. I can't
never I can't picture you.
I actually said this.
I don't know if this is a weird thing to come in.
I was talking to my beautiful wife today.
I was like,
I can't see Channing Kennedy ever getting divorced.
Yeah, well, you know,
I think the thing about marriage is
the surprises.
Yeah, but also the snowmobile accidents.
Snowmobiling,
foiling with the wrong guy.
Yeah, you're a hundred thousand dollars underwater.
You owe to this foiling guy.
Yeah, dude, he's coming after you.
He's like, dude, he's got a couple leg breakers
with him. Yeah, he's like, dude, you owe me 50K. Um, for foiling. And so, uh, oh, what was I going to
and I'm, yeah, I'm behind. I got to get me. I was so pumped to get married after your guys's
wedding to you. I was in the room and I was like, babe, I know I've been dragging my feet on this. It's just
like logistical stuff. But I'm like, we got to get married. It's awesome. It's awesome. And you know what
too? Like, I think people, people in our culture, they hate on marriage. They hate on aging.
White guys?
Yeah, white guys.
All this stuff.
Ugly women.
Yeah, dude.
They get a tough time.
That's unfair.
Yeah.
And you know what?
All this stuff is awesome.
And you know what?
Okay.
As I've gotten older, I think I've gotten happier.
You've worked very hard on it.
And you have.
Yeah.
I think getting older is sick.
People are like, you know, being young is awesome.
You know, the...
He's diligent.
He works on it.
The fountain of youth.
I'm like, yeah, but dude,
getting older, you become wiser.
become you're more steady in who you are.
You've shocked me with that.
It's crazy that you are okay with aging.
I would never have predicted that for me
when we were in our 20s.
I'm stoked down.
I mean, obviously I have worries
and you know, especially in like our business.
No, you're still human,
but you handle it with like a real understanding
of life cycle.
Like you don't, I fight it more.
You're more handsome than me,
but I still fight it more than you do
where I'm like, I can't let this happen.
I'm like, I got to die fighting this.
Like, I'm gonna die trying to look 30.
And you're like,
you have a,
like a real serenity room about it yeah well i think i think too i think it's i i i like i like i like
just becoming wiser i think when i made my 20s i was just kind of like a mindless
dumbass i was just running around i didn't even like i don't even know in actually no late 20s
i knew i was doing yeah you lucked it um early 20s late teens i was like i was just kind of like a
a drunken you know it's i didn't know you it sounds like you almost didn't even have a personality then
Yeah, I was just, I was just, my personality was being hammered.
Yeah, which is fair.
That's the time to do it, brother.
Yeah, I was sick.
I mean, you know, shout out.
You know, what up, Santa Clara.
Cream pie.
Cream pie.
What up, Green Python.
I hope you're still alive.
Star snake.
But then in marriage, too, it's like kind of like being married.
That's when you kind of, at what I've felt is a level up in that wisdom too.
and also this motivation to kind of become more of a man,
more of like a provider and kind of step into that role.
Sure.
Which, you know, double-edged sword has a lot more pressure
and I think it's added more anxiety,
but also is like kind of stepping into that role also is powerful.
So, yeah, I'm just-
Fill out the suit.
You got to fill out the suit.
Yeah, I got to fill out the wetsuit.
fill out the wetsuit and then you know then you then you then you then you get fired up yeah you
you you tackle that pressure head on then you can be brad fuller in maui and he did a great job of it
because he's a great guy to hang out with he's a good family man yeah you know we've seen him go
through some work struggles and he handled it like a stoic he really did yeah he was the embodiment
of it he's a beast and i never heard him quote stoicism either he was just he was just in it yeah he's
He's a beast.
What a legend.
Dude.
The godfather.
Well said, dude.
Yeah, marriage is sick.
Relationships are sick.
I mean, and you just get to put that part aside and work on the other stuff, too, which is nice.
I think that's what most people say.
Dude, I got to say this to, hey, El Nino, chill out, bro.
Yeah.
What is it doing to the coastline?
I know.
It's pure devastation.
I mean, I'm not, I haven't been there, but I'm, and I might just be getting like the hyperbolic,
social media version of it.
But like, bro,
Noops, San Clemente, Long Beach,
Laguna are just getting thrashed.
Just chill out, dog.
And then,
oh, dude,
this is my beef of the week.
When I'm seeing videos
of the beaches I loved growing up,
getting thrashed,
and then I go to the comments
and people are like,
are these the people who voted for Trump
are like,
oh, that's what you get
for living close to the beach.
Just the lack of fucking empathy from people.
Like, hey,
first of all,
the beach is for everybody,
all right everybody went to the beach and it's not a monolith you don't know every day like crazy cody who
was down at salt creek he's not voting for anyone okay he's crazy cody and then these people are like
just instantly going to that energy and it's getting liked by like 3,000 people i'm like bro you're
against the beach that's how much hate you have in your heart and look i've been that guy i've looked
out of people and felt nothing but you know spite but that doesn't make me when i feel good when i look out of
people, I want to feel love.
You know what I mean?
If you can't feel love for the beach,
for the beach getting freaking thrush, where are you at, dog?
Was that too passionate?
No, I loved it.
I didn't even want to add anything because that's just a fire.
Cut that.
Clip that.
The beach, bro.
Like, more people play volleyball.
Listen to Bob Marley and dads teach their kids how to surf.
It should be gone.
They're like, yeah, this is what we said was going to happen.
And, like, you know, the climate change thing is totally valid.
Like, humanity's done a horrible job with it.
But like, I don't know.
There's time and a place, man.
And if you're not like pumping policy that's going to make it better,
if you're just like taking shots, I don't know, bro.
I got a shot for you in there kind of right here, dog.
And guess where I learned how to fight?
Salt Creek Beach got my ass beat there two times, dude.
But I loved it.
You know, it was great.
Dude, getting your ass beat is awesome.
Dude, one time of fucking, dude,
okay, so sometimes some inlander kids came in and they got jumped by these rat kids from Dana Point.
And then dude, the inlanders came back with their older brothers one time.
Yeah.
Big fat like Samoan dudes.
And they just rolled in.
They were like, is that them?
And bro, I was in the middle.
I was in the middle.
And then like a 30 on 30 brawl.
Really?
Yeah.
And dude, these Samoan dudes are awesome.
They just fucking wrecked house on all these little Dana kids.
And like these little Dana like rat wrestlers were just getting hit and like flying like 10 feet.
And I just remember I had my head on a slope.
No one's coming from me.
So I just had to get out of there.
I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa.
And I just ducked out of there.
And then.
Do you try to punch a Simone guy?
No, I just got out of there.
And I was like, I was like, Jim Lampley.
I was like commentating.
I was like, a huge right hand from Glenn from Glendora.
And then I was like, I backed out.
And then to the data, I do remember this.
This image just came into my head.
I do remember the Dana Rat kids.
I keep calling him rat kids just because they were like this.
They were like, what's up, dude?
We're just freaking surfing.
And did you have a cigarette?
They had that kind of energy.
I do remember one of the kids.
And he was small too, but he got just blood on his face.
But he was not feeling sorry for himself after the fight.
No, he was just.
just like, fuck.
But he was tough.
And I was like, you know, God bless you, dude.
You know, you live the life, but you don't bemoan the consequences of it.
So good for you, man.
So, yeah, I don't want to lose that.
That was my culture growing up, you know, lifted trucks and dirt bikes at the beach.
And it's just sad to see it getting thrashed.
I think it's such a beautiful place.
Yeah.
What's happened to America where they want to see, you know,
where they want to see that the beach culture get taken.
away. Imagine if the OC was on Fox and then a hurricane comes pilot episode and it's all done.
They didn't even cover hurricanes in the OC because it just wasn't commonplace. Yeah.
You know, I guess Nino hit in 94 or whatever and we got touched by it a little bit, but I don't know, this one,
maybe it's again because of social media and I'm just so drunk on it. But the impact, like, you know,
Tom Hall's beach is uninhabitable now. You can't even go down there. And I grew up playing volleyball
down there and swimming and stuff and
yeah it's just a major
buzzkill man
dude I want to say this too
I don't know if you saw this on the news
Trump said that
he thinks Iran should just hit
LA and San Diego
and the crowd cheered the crowd cheered
and what the fuck
is that about? Yeah and I'm like dude
I was like dude Trump
I was not expecting that from you
with his tan I'm like dude
I know the solution
we got to get him on a board
Oh, 100%.
We got a game on a wave.
We got to go back to Talladega and be like, hey, we enjoyed your guys' culture, so now we're bringing a taste of our own.
And set up a volleyball net, get Kelly Slater to set up the train pool, the train wave, and just do it all right there.
Yeah.
Because no one's going to hate once they've experienced it.
It's perfect.
Totally.
And I think we should get a wave pool to Tehran.
Yes.
So if I ran super keen on hit in San Diego in L.A., it's like, dude,
get them on a board and then they'll maybe think twice about, you know, their targets.
Not that I want them to hit any of the U.S., but, dude, I mean...
It could solve a lot of issues.
Yeah.
Send some pokey bowls and some boards and some wave pools over to Trump and Iran.
And let's just settle this thing.
Did the crowd cheer when Trump said that?
Yeah, yeah.
That's not cool at all, man.
Nebraska.
What the, I like Nebraska.
Me too.
What the hell, dude?
They're next to Iowa, which shout out Jake.
Jake's from Jake, what's going on over there, dude?
Yeah, I think it's a lot of it is just like people don't know what's actually out here.
Like they're so small town and like they've never been out this way.
So someone, someone's like, fuck that place.
They're just like, yeah, fuck it.
We don't even know.
All we hear is that they're crazy, you know.
Well, that's, I think social media, you know, California used to be golden, tan,
muscular bodies.
That's still going down though.
Yeah.
That's,
in media portrayal,
California used to be these golden,
tan bodies lifting on the beach.
People getting barreled.
People partying on a Tuesday,
you know,
having bruise,
just people hooking up,
left and right without consequence.
And now,
because of media,
the rest of the country thinks California
is just some guy
taking a deuce on the sidewalk.
The beauty and the painter right next to each other.
Doskayevsky said he had a love life before you understood the meaning of it.
Love precedes me.
I love both, dude.
I love the jack dudes and I love my own house brothers taking fat dukies on the sidewalk.
Doesn't mean we shouldn't mitigate these things, but it's all part of the thing that I embrace, man.
Dude, the best surf day I had this year, I was cruising out to break water at Venice, passed by this dude.
he's taking a dump on the boardwalk,
tossed him some Charmin.
I'm like, dude, wipe up good.
Yes.
Went out and got barreled.
That's the beauty of California.
Dude, and here's the thing.
I want to say, I was,
I got boned on my medication last night.
CVS didn't have it when they were supposed to.
I was a little bit lippy with the sweet consultant at the pharmacy.
She went the extra mile and called it into Sherman Oaks,
even though they had her on hold forever.
I drive 20 minutes over there.
The lady there is super kind.
Hooks me up with my meds.
What up?
That's very California for me to get diet.
with something that now my psychiatrist says I no longer have.
Which is riding the lightning, brother.
Yeah.
Okay, but these people are taking care of me.
They're being sweet even though they got tough gigs and this is midnight.
I go outside, homeless dude, bro, rolls up on my window.
He's like, hey man, what's going on with this and that?
I'm like, what do you need dog?
He's like, I need 14 bucks for a hotel room.
I go and hit the ATM.
I'm a good person, whatever, flex and virtue here.
I come out, guy offers to give me change.
Wow.
And then he goes, what do you do?
I'm a comedian.
He goes, I could tell.
He's like, I could tell you.
You're an entertainment.
He's like, I think I know you.
You do that thing.
He was cool as hell.
He's cool as hell, man.
Great guy.
Not a bad bone in his body.
I could tell you right now.
I looked at this man in the eyes.
Not a bad bone in his body.
He was straight up about it.
Yeah.
So, you know, should they be dukeying on the street?
No, but I don't think this guy's dropping deuce is on the street.
Yeah.
He's a rock-sella guy.
Yeah, that's awesome.
Do you do that thing?
Because you knew, I think I've seen you say, you know, guy.
You know that thing.
You didn't say you knew that guy.
That would have made me think he actually knew how it was.

Not to switch gears to
please. I've been too heavy-handed.
I think I've been doing a lot of soul searching.
You know, I love the Jags.
I love the Rams.
But I watched that Raiders game on Sunday.
Against the Chiefs, did you catch it?
Yeah.
You know, they took the L, but the way they've been playing?
Electric.
Raider Nish, if you'll have me, I'm in.
You doing the switch up?
Here's the thing.
My wife is a Raiders fan.
I think we should be putting on a united front
you know the fact that I've been a Rams guy for so long
and just
we met a Raiders fan in Maui
absolute legend
and
the love that Raiders fans have for one another
the camarader's fans have for one another
the camaraderie the loyalty
it's just beautiful to see
an Ice Cube is a Raiders fan
Is that for real?
I've just seen him wear the hat.
Oh, I've seen that too.
So, yeah.
It's almost like, so you guys just got married.
Like, not only did you inherit tax incentives, health care, but the Raiders.
The Raiders, indeed, like, my favorite linebacker.
Don't even try, dude.
Sorry, sorry, sorry.
My favorite linebacker, Bing Crosby?
Is that what you're going to say?
Yeah, yeah.
My favorite linebacker, that's really funny.
Like my favorite linebacker, Bing Crosby?
Such a legend.
That's really funny.
He goes out there, he looks like a pirate.
And he just knocks, dude.
He's quick off the edge, dude, no doubt.
Jake, what's going on with the dude?
Chargers.
Just no chemistry, no pride, you know, I don't know.
I've never seen a team more broken, more spiritually broken.
And I said that before Simmons said it on his pod.
Yeah, before we get to that, I would just like to note one last thing on Chad's last
statement.
Statistically, the most violent team, fans-wise, the Raiders.
Yeah, because they care.
Yeah, they can.
They are, if you go to a game, someone in that stadium is getting stabbed or beat up.
Statistically, these are facts.
Chargers stopped serving beer after half time because they used to have a big rivalry when the Raiders were in Oakland.
And there's this clip. I'll never forget. I was like a freshman in high school.
A Raiders guys leaving the stadium and there's Charger fans like, go charging.
The guy pulls a knife and stabs him five times.
And then Qualcomm's correct. That was the stadium. Their corrective was like, we're not doing beer after half.
It's like, this guy's coming to the game on meth, man. You're not changing anything.
Oh, dude. If they're stabbing people, then better to be on their side.
That's true.
Yeah, join the winning side.
But dude, we got a cut to the chargers here
because I got Omaran Hampton on my fantasy team.
He was my biggest buy in my auction league draft.
And which I think is kind of done for at this point.
We have no, we have four rookies on the line now.
Don't say that to me, Jake.
Yeah, we have four rookies on the line.
And he looks good, man.
Those two fumbles were terrible,
but I think he's a ball player.
I really like the way he runs.
But I've been watching videos of what McDaniel is scheming for him.
And I got, you know.
That's where I was going to go.
Yeah.
I think they need to quit playing so fancy and trying these like tricks, swing plays that like worked with Achan and Tua and Tyreek Hill.
And they just need to go hard-nosed ball.
Fucking run the ball.
Yes.
And the past game opens up.
That's what Herbert needs to do.
He's not one of these West Coast timing guys.
And he looks broken.
And then, dude, going into the game, you guys are 0 and 3.
You get the kickoff.
I'm like, they got it.
What's going to happen here?
Let's watch the Chargers.
Can they pull it together?
It's make or break.
First play of the game, he throws a fat meatball of a pick.
Like just into triple coverage.
Two guys could have picked it.
And I was like, man, something is like seriously off here.
I think especially with that play in general, and this kind of proves my point and your point
as well that McDaniel's not drawing up the right shit.
I think with that play in general, McDaniel studied all week and he was like, this is the
defense they're going to run.
This first play, we're going to get a big pass play.
It's going to be wide open.
You throw it to this guy.
We get out there.
It's fucking covered immediately.
Like, he should have had a second look or, like, another person to throw to.
But McDaniel's probably so in his head that he's like, I'm throwing to that fucking guy.
And the receivers aren't playing great either.
And I'm just like, you got Hampton.
And before Slater and Alt got banged up, I was like, just run downhill on these guys.
Yeah, exactly.
He's getting four yards of carry.
Like, and just beat up the defense.
But this is the deeper question.
Is it the Widows Bay Chargers?
Like, is it more than the players?
Is it more than the coaches?
Is it even more than whatever city they play in?
Are they cursed?
They might be cursed, or it's just the Spanos
who have made a lot of bad investments
and terrible GMs
who have fucking got terrible talented players
who like, we draft first round guys
who end up doing nothing for five years
but we start them the whole time.
I think that's a huge part of it more than anything.
There's something unique about the chargers though.
It feels like it's like a disease in the dirt.
I don't know.
I mean, I don't know if that's necessarily true.
I think we got to start believing it, but I've been seeing it a long time.
What do you say about Ladeney and Tomlinson?
I love Ladeney and Tomlinson, you know, top five running back for me all time.
But do you remember in the AFC title game?
I mean, yeah, but that's the AFC title game.
And he got banged up and he's on the sideline with the helmet.
He did a great year on broke the touchdowns record?
Yeah, exactly.
So I don't know.
But how did that team never win a title?
What about that team having the best defense in the league, the best offense in the league,
and not making the playoffs that one year?
Yeah, I mean.
Something's going on, Jake.
and I want you to get out.
No, that's one thing I will never do.
I will never change up my team.
I am loyal to the soil to the Iowa Hawkeyes
and the fucking San Diego Los Angeles Chargers, baby.
I think we're not talking about the elephant in the room.
We got to get rid of Madison Beer.
No, that's not it.
It is, dude.
This all started with Madison Beer.
Nah.
No, dude, I mean, I don't know anything about her.
the name sounds fake
I think she's AI
she does look kind of like AI
yeah that's a good call
which is credits her how beautiful she is
but she does look like and her music kind of sounds
a little AIish I've never listened to her music
she got a good voice um
I'm actually pro Madison beer as of recent
a lot of videos came out of her fucking
dominating Fortnite
so she is a professional gamer I am
totally on board that's how she hooked you brother
you think the devil's gonna come in with horns and a tail
no they'll be likable they'll be beautiful
they'll relate to you.
Yeah.
You should watch Rosemary's baby.
And there is a correlation.
I'm very pro-celebrity couples.
Like I love Kelsey and Taylor Swift.
I get a big hit off of it.
I like the new Patient Zero video too.
I think she's gotten a bit too right orly with the lyrics.
You know,
not every line has to be an all-timer.
But overall, big fan.
There is a correlation between celebrity relationships
and football players declining.
Tony Romo and Jay Simpson.
I think in basketball,
Devin Booker had a list.
little bit of a dip. I think Kelsey slipped a little bit when he first got together with Swift. I had him
on my fantasy team. He was traveling too much. He's going to Brazil on the off days. I think there might be
something here. And I don't want to be labeled a misogynist. All I care about is productivity. And you can
also be bullied by a relationship. But in this instance, I think there's enough evidence to say she's
diminishing his abilities. Well, I think too, too, you know, maybe they're so in love that he's giving
away his seed too much.
Yes.
And I think seed correlates, like if you have a lot of seed in you, that correlates to good football.
Boxers, Delahoya, wouldn't nut before a fight.
You think Marvin Hagler was busted nuts?
Yeah.
No.
And he never got knocked down as a result.
This is a call to Madison beer.
Stop extracting Herbert's seed.
You can change this, Madison.
You can make this better.
Withhold, make him hold his seed until the end of the seat.
He is a hockey.
He is too hot.
to be on a team like this.
Sorry, Jake.
I mean, yeah, it's been my whole life that they've been ass, you know?
Like, it's kind of what I expect, but I'm happy when they do better than ass.
This is a terrible start, but there is only one team ever that has been 0 and 4 and made it to the playoffs, and it's the 92 Chargers.
So, you know.
The Natron Means team?
I'm not sure who exactly was on the team, but it was the 1990.
Yeah, and junior year.
I watched that team.
The one that lost that got blown out by the Niners?
I mean, sure.
probably but at least fucking there's hope you know yeah i didn't mean to say it like there's there's a
past of being shitty but finding ways to win i think what it comes down to this is my final take on it
because i know not everyone gives a fuck about the chargers but in the fourth quarter we had shame day
our quarterbacks coach calling the plays i believe it's not for sure but something was different
we put up 17 points herbert went seven for seven on a drive like something was there whoever was
calling the plays in the fourth quarter should be calling the plays the rest of the year i don't give
a fuck about macdaniel let the person who has fucking shown productivity that it fucking works let him
call the plays all right i hope so because i got to tell you when i'm seeing you guys in third and
three and then a wide receiver's in motion herbert's in the shotgun and the snap bounces off the
receiver's knee i i get upset i get really mad you know i grew up on coaches bro they didn't let stuff like
happen not my do you have about Tomlin with Minecraft did you see that oh yeah so funny dude that was
amazing bro what's the deal with that he's playing Minecraft a lot so for 12 years he never told
anyone he built like the most comprehensive I mean I don't know relative to other
Minecraft players but like he built a really detailed city that has like tons of
neighborhoods and like every building is meticulously built and I guess he did it on Xbox
which means it's even more time intensive than PC and he just explains it and he's
to me Tomlin is like one of the greatest communicators of my life
time. And so hearing him talk about it is really beautiful. He's like, I wanted to pay special
attention to lighting, especially in the subterranean room. So here, you know, we have a speak easy
lounge. And I was very intentional about the limestone because it reflects light better than the
other available option. And he's just going to, and then people are dogging him, especially
patriots because they owned our asses. They're like, this is why you guys never had a good defensive
game playing. Like, bro, ninth winning his coach in history, 23rd best winning percentage,
dealt with some of the worst personalities in football history. Mike Tomlin, forever my goat. I love you,
I would die for you.
I would die for you, Mike Tomlin.
What do you think about Drake May?
Do you think?
He's coming back.
I like Drake May.
Yeah.
This was a good point too.
Like when people were dogging Tomlin for being on Minecraft,
they were like, you know, I don't want to put people's business in the show.
But like other coaches have gotten trouble for other stuff that also takes up time.
Yeah.
And like, you know, it's a positive thing.
He's playing video games with his son.
It's sweet.
Yeah, that's awesome.
I just think he's a total mention.
I love you so much, Mike Tomlin.
I miss you.
I miss you every day.
how are the dolphins doing
they're crap
they're just total crap
that problems me how they they
they don't they just don't have the players are not
A chain got banged up their quarterback Malik Willis
like might be all right but like you got to build
a really good system around him and
he can't just like be
solely responsible for he's not Josh Allen
he can't just drag you to a dub yeah
and Tyree kill is he still on the team
they think he's gonna go back to the chiefs because they got banged up
at wide receiver I got Rashid Rice it's been dark
oh yeah
came up in the non-com
That was that was Thornton.
That was Thornton.
Dude, that, yeah.
Did you see with his teammate?
No.
He's down like this and his teammates
trying to help him.
And then he points at his foot and his team just goes,
oh.
That's really funny.
Last thing on football, JT.
Do you think Matt Stafford is a good quarterback?
Yeah.
Okay, then Herbert's still got a chance
because Matt Stafford was ass with the Lions for years.
He wasn't, I know.
He had great seasons.
He did have great seasons,
but he also had similar problems
where he had nobody besides.
Maybe Megatron or like, you know, there was no, the line sucked.
But he had a season without Megatron where I think he led the league in TDs.
But it's a good comparison.
Herbert also had the best rookie fucking year ever with me.
Yeah, and his stats have been good.
So he's a Stafford.
He could be a Stafford, which would suck because that would mean he'd leave the Chargers and go
win to Super Bowl somewhere else.
But I think you're right.
I'm not out on Herbert.
I think he's, but he's playing so bad right now, dude.
It's tough.
It's tough to watch.
Yeah, I, uh, I believe in Herbert.
He's hot.
Yeah, he's a stud.
He's got a fucking cannon.
He's pretty athletic, but I don't know.
Can he rally the boys?
Can he rally the boys, though?
He'd rally me.
I know you'd follow him, but you're a good freaking guy, dude.
Like, what about the guys who need a bit more convincing, huh?
Yeah.
Them boys, they don't want to follow him.
He's not one of the fellas, bro.
And now he's with Madison Beer, it's like, how do you even relate to the guy?
What do I sound like, I feel like my accent needs work?
needs work. No, it sounds good. Yeah, I don't know. I need someone who's got a little, you know,
blood underneath his fingernails, a little chewing tobacco and his facial hair. I just need a guy
who's who's been through it a bit. And with Herbert, it's just like, you know, California breeze.
Like, can I get something that's got a little grit to it? Is this Canadian or Mexican?
I'm both. I'm actually, I'm from, I'm from Canada, but I spent my summers in Tijuana with my brothers.
And so it's a little bit of both, you know? Okay. I don't mind a little, you know, I'll go up to
Nova Scotia, we do the ice fishing and whatnot, but then when I'm in DJ, bro, is
3 points carnal, and, you know, we, we mix it up for sure.
And Herbert, you know, I don't know where he's from, but, like, he's not la rasa,
and he's not one of the boys.
Dude, how, to be a quarterback can not be playing well?
Yeah, the world's just dumping on you.
Well, dude, then Bryce Young, the last football thing, Bryce Young, you've seen this guy,
he's 5'10, the quarterback from Carolina.
I was out on him.
I think I've badmouthed him on the pod.
He's 510, he's not, like, super fast, and he looks real small.
up there. Dude, they benched him last year. Now he's back and he's playing really well.
It's very inspiring. And he seems like a great guy from SoCal. He went to modern day, dude,
rival high school. Dude, Kurt Cousins, I think is a legend too. He's cool. He's cool. I like him.
He's a likable guy. Who's the other guy? Is it on the Radis? Do you think Jackson Dart?
Do you think he, is he done though?
No, but he's just never put it together
I mean his rookie year got
Ended quick because he got a concussion
And then this year you know
He busted up his knee
Like is he too injury prone
He might be
And his style kind of
Seems like it
It'll lead to more injuries
Because he's a physical guy
But I don't know
I feel bad
He's just got to put it together
It's TBD at this point
But if I'm a Giants fan I have hope
It's just so heartbreaking to see
to see someone get injured at the beginning of the season.
Like you wait all year to start the season.
You get injured.
You're out for another year.
I mean, how brutal.
It's horrible.
I mean, the players will talk about it.
They'll be like, yeah, it was like the darkest time of my life.
And I think we don't have much sympathy for him because they're like wealthy studs, you know.
But dude, it's got to be, I don't know.
I had friends who played college sports and like when they had to give that up and just like move into other avenues and stuff,
they were bombed man like that's how you that's your status to the world it's tough but um i don't know
when they bounce back though like the way he was an injury but the way Bryce young is bounced
back from the doubters that's Rocky Balbo in real life i get fucking hyped on that shit
hyped and Jake hates on Bryce young who point i did kind of hate on Bryce young same same reason
with Kyler murray i think they're too small sure um but
he's playing great
this year
I got nothing bad to say
the one thing about
Jackson Dart is
I think it's his own
image that he portrays
like he's kind of like a cocky douche
as a quarterback
does a lot of these faces like
and like as a quarterback
you either if you're that guy
you have to fucking be that guy
like you have to fucking be the top dog
cocky fucking
Cam Newton was like that too
yeah but if you're if you're not
then you just look like a fucking idiot
like you play like shit
but you're like this tough guy
I don't know so it could go either way
with Dart
but I
Baker sometimes
too. Right. If you're playing the tough guy but you keep getting injured. Yeah. And if it's like
moxie, if you're like, come on, the boys can rally around me, but you're like, oh and three and you've
thrown five picks. Yeah, just play out. Yeah. You make a few completions first. But when those guys
are cooking, it's so exciting to watch. He also like sent a DM to Madison Beer to bring it back
full of, oh yeah. Which is partially why I'm like, bro. I don't like that stuff. Yeah, that's kind of
weird, you know. Yeah, I don't like going there.
that's the
Tupac move
not into it
who's the
is
the Bears
quarterback back
no he's not back
but bro
that's why I want to talk
to Joe so bad this week
but Joe said he couldn't
because
he was eating oatmeal or something
I don't want to be
whatever
they look really good
right now the star of the team
is the coach
because they're just like
they've had three different
quarterbacks
they're three in one
and they
the team just plays so well together.
They just look really well coached.
It's pretty badass.
Dude, Joe at the wedding,
he had his big sunglasses looking like pit bull.
That was a good look.
Dude, he comes up looking like pit bull.
He's like, hey, he's like, tell him to play pit bull.
And so I kept telling Casey the DJ, I'm like, can you play pit bull?
He's like, it's coming, it's coming.
Joe, the whole night, he just comes to me.
He's like, when's the pit bull?
Come on.
finally it comes on
Joe just
swaggered out
walked in the middle of the dance floor
you know no one could see his hog
but they knew it was swinging
and just pit pulled it up
and that that made me so happy
dude Joe with his big
big ding
he was awesome he had such a good time
everyone had a good time
yeah do you think when like
when people
when people meet Joe
do you think they can subconsciously
detect that he's got a massive shalom.
A lot of people ask me about it.
Yeah.
Nikki Stacks asked me about it.
Oh, he's very interested.
Yeah.
Chase Bank asked me about it.
He's very interested.
Miller Time.
Yeah.
Mark and Bill were hitting me up about.
Basically every dude asked me about it.
My brother's were hitting you up about his winner.
Yeah, they were texting me.
Yeah.
Because I know Bill was like, how big is it?
They were like, give us the straight scoop.
Is this thing as huge as advertised?
I said it's even bigger.
They were like, get the hell out there.
Like, how do we get eyeballs on this thing?
I'm like, it's impossible.
You don't even want to look at this thing
because it'll just put you into a dark hole.
I know, Joe's like, what do you want for your wedding gift?
I'm like, dude, show me your fucking weiner.
Show me the hog.
You only have to show candy.
Just show me.
Dude, I just want to go on record here.
United Airlines blows.
You guys suck balls, man.
So, yes, suck a dick.
I think that's a good place to end.
Congratulations, Chad on getting married.
Thanks, man.
I'm glad the honeymoon was a banger.
Love you, dog.
I love you too. Thanks for officiating. Crushed.
Yeah, of course, man. Honored.
