The following podcast is a dear media production.
Two Jews, both big and tall, no subject, too small for the good guys.
A mother's dream, premium podcast team, make it your weekly routine, it's a good guys.
And if you don't give us five stars, what are you nuts?
What are you nuts?
Yeah, we're the good guys.
We're not the great guys.
We're just a good guy.
Mazumorans, welcome back to the Good Guys podcast.
Will our bakers be able to fool you?
This is sweet deceit.
This is sweet to eat.
Josh, it was excellent.
Yeah, you watched?
Of course I watched.
Now, did I watch live at 10 p.m?
No, I was asleep.
It's crazy.
Did I watch the next day on HBO Max?
Hell yeah, I did.
Hell yeah.
And you know how fortunate it is?
HBO Max is the one, you know, we all share.
Don't tell Netflix.
We all share me, Claudia, Jackie, Olivia, we all share the various accounts.
I own the HBO Max one.
I'm the one who pays for it.
So I knew the password.
It was locked into my phone.
Otherwise, Josh, we would have had a problem.
Me trying to get into the family Netflix from my phone, never going to happen.
It's preloaded in the TV.
I had HBO Max.
I went in.
I sweet deceit.
Your beautiful face pops up.
Love it, love it.
With the wonderful cake maker and the three beautiful content.
testants, all with wonderful hair. And I have to say the highlight was watching that guy
bite into a pair of keys. Right? It is completely, it gives you the willies this show.
It literally haunts you. It's great. It's like kind of Alton Brownie, kind of, I don't know,
it like combines like a bunch of good elements from a bunch of different types of shows and makes
one very entertaining show. Thank you so much. It's certainly not reminiscent at all of Is It Cake?
I don't care who keeps saying that.
It's not, okay?
It's its own show.
But I agree with you.
I think we've distilled down the best parts of many different shows.
And like watching shows like this with my kids,
all we want to do is debate on who's going to win what the secret thing is.
And we get to do that four times on the show.
Yeah, you gamified the experience for the audience.
I'm there.
I'm like, it's the keys.
It's the keys.
It wasn't the keys.
But like, I'm guessing.
I'm guessing.
And then when you're wrong, you're like, oh, shit.
It was great.
It was great.
Bravo.
And if you haven't watched Sweet Deceit, it's live Monday nights, 10 o'clock.
What a man.
Food Network.
Or the next day, HBO Max, ever heard of it?
So now assuming we're going to get a second season because it's written in the stars
unless I completely tank this thing, my code name is the Titanic.
But, okay, assuming we get our second season.
Where does Ben Saffer fit in?
Because that's all I care about.
What are you going to do on the show?
That's a good question.
Where does Ben Saffer fit in the show?
That's right.
I think that maybe I am like prepping these people.
Maybe I'm, maybe I'm not in.
Maybe we're not in the same scenes, right, Josh?
Maybe I meet them.
Maybe I meet them at their home.
Maybe I vet them.
Yes.
Okay.
Maybe I talk to them and prep them, train them.
Maybe I sort of Mr. Miyagi how I can train them to really understand the differences between cake and a desk.
Okay?
That's right.
Because I understand these people, escape room experts.
Sure, but they fucked up a ton, right?
They didn't get it.
They left cold hard cash on the table.
That's right.
Stone cold cash was left on the table.
They only walked home with $7,500 of the $12,500.
So maybe if they got a little bit of training for me,
Right, you like this?
I love.
It's a little boot camp.
Boot camp.
Is it...
No, I was about to say, is it cake boot camp?
Hold your tongue.
It is nothing to do with that show.
Nothing.
Nothing.
I've never even seen the show.
It's just that is what the question is.
Right.
Is it cake?
Is the question?
No, it's a great title.
It's a great title.
It's a great title.
It's a great title.
Because it's the question is,
Issa cake.
The real difference is that
Issa cake is all about the bakers
are competing against the bakers, right?
Got it.
This show is, you know,
Joe Public is competing for the bag.
And that's exciting.
And also may I ask,
should we up the prize money?
I feel like we went,
we're a little tight with the pockets
on this season.
Look, I wasn't going to say it.
I wasn't going to say it.
But I'm not going to lie, those three contestants going home with $7,500 total post tax,
what are they going to buy a piece of cake?
No, you need, for sure.
Like, the pie needs to be bigger, for sure, for sure.
50 grand, okay?
50.
Food network, pony up 50.
It's so easy.
Bring on a sponsor.
Do 100.
I was just watching Top Chef on the plane, which, by the way, you can't watch Top Chef anywhere
but an airplane.
Do you agree?
That's the only place you're allowed to watch it.
I know what you mean.
Yeah, I see that.
Yes.
This is an airplane show.
And the grand prize was $250,000 presented by blank.
Like the whole, every episode is an ad.
I've never seen anything like it.
It's like this sponsorship or this challenge is brought to you by Cascade.
That's right.
And they're like cooking and it's like laundry detergent.
Food Network, you don't have to put up the cash.
Go to Caroie.
Have them pony up 50 grand.
Exactly.
Is it cake and it's all made in caroie pans?
Josh, why are we doing their job for them?
This segment's brought to you by hymns.
Correct.
Yeah, and everybody's hard.
Yeah.
This cake will make you a wreck.
I know.
Is it cake or is it a rock hard boner?
See, I know we've talked about this,
but I've always wanted to dabble in the dark arts of dick pills.
title.
But also now from the longevity space, they say that taking a low dose of
to Dalafil every day will lower the blood pressure, help with circulation.
So they're actually saying it's a longevity thing.
So now I really want to try it, except I got to make sure pages on board.
Because I'm going to have to, I'm going to need to do something with this thing if it gets
out of hand.
Yeah, you just need to make sure that your right hand is on board.
Okay, don't bother your life.
Leave her alone.
Okay, we're alone.
You know, maybe we'll come to an agreement.
All I know is keep me as far away from dick pills as possible.
Okay, we've spoken about it at length.
If you're a new.
And by the way, there are a lot of new of you.
Okay.
We got a big jump, big jump in listenership.
Yeah, we're crushing.
Okay.
So if you haven't heard this quick story, I once had a terrible sinus infection.
I went to Walgreens.
Yes.
And I picked up harmlessly, Mucinex.
Okay?
I went to check out.
The pharmacist said, Mucinex, what is this child's play?
Get Mucinex D.
It's the best.
Little did I know the D in Mucinex D stands for dick because I was hard from three to six in the morning.
Vesal constriction.
I could not shake it.
Three to six in the morning.
I couldn't shake it.
No matter what I did, I'll let your memories run.
Memories.
I'll let your minds run.
But so, Josh, if I have that type of sensitivity to MusenXD, imagine me on Viagra.
I'd be hard for a month from the smallest dose.
I'd be Benny Rockhard.
Benny Rockhard is sick.
That should be your wrestler name.
I, um, I, uh, yeah, no, I know how you feel like, but I've used as like, if, if I'm sick,
I have used the tool of canoodling with myself to get me through the worst part of the
sickness. Like, I've been, I've had food poisoning before and been like, I just have to become
well enough to be able to lie in bed. And I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to,
I'm going to, I'm going to, you know, just sometimes you got to take your mind off things.
A hundred percent, a hundred percent. I mean, there are a lot of, we can't talk about this.
We can't. We can't. We can't. I was going to go deeper. I think we just cut it off right here,
Josh. You've changed. What is this? I know. Have I changed.
I'm telling you, you're trying to see, you're going mainstream on us now.
And I'm the one getting in trouble with my wife now, not you.
Speaking of mainstream, Josh, I've been doing a lot of shopping at Costco.
And last week, I went, Josh, and I tried their sashimi.
I saw that.
Great video.
Great bid.
Thank you so much.
It went a little viral on TikTok, which, like, is pretty rare for me.
40 pieces of shishimi, 40 pieces of sashimi.
26 bucks.
I got a tuna tartar
and I got a salmon tartar as well.
This was
unbelievable sushi.
Unbelievable. I couldn't believe it.
All the kinds. Ben, let us know
if you're alive the next day.
You think that a publicly traded company like Costco
is serving sashimi that's going to kill someone?
Are you?
Far from it. Far from it.
Are you nuts?
No, they get the best sashimi
because they can take a loss on it
because they're making billions of dollars
and just charging you for the card.
It's a flywheel.
It's a flywheel.
Josh.
That's right.
Costco Elite also today,
I went and I bought Guillermo's salsa.
You know, Guillermo,
sidekick of Mr. Kimmel,
who's killing it on dancing with the stars.
He has his own salsa at Costco.
And it's delicious.
I'm a multiple week Costco member
because I go there.
It's right by my equinox.
Shout out.
Love it.
I mean, you want to talk about a nice day
for good old JP, okay?
It's a workout session
with my boy, Muhammad, okay?
He just had PuffCon this weekend.
The biggest weekend of his year,
giving watermelon juice
to a bunch of stoners
in a 110-degree weather.
And then it's hitting a workout.
It's a nice sauna session with, spoiler alert.
Muhammad, okay?
And then I drive over to Costco.
I gas up my wife's car because as we all know, she's killing the environment.
Not me.
I drive an electric car.
But we gas up.
You save $20 on the gas.
They do not get a profit on that.
And then I walk around.
First of all, Costco produce is gorgeous.
It's gorgeous.
There's something special.
And was I the one who took?
I feel like months ago, because someone at the gym, one of the trainers was like, you know,
I get the tuna pokey from there like you got.
And it's 20 bucks.
And she's like, it's like three meal prep.
Like, it's good for three days.
I think you did tell me.
I didn't remember.
I love it.
And then I was browsing.
I was just in the fish section.
I was honestly looking for a piece of Atlantic salmon.
I was just looking to cook a nice, nice piece of fish.
And then all of a sudden I see this beautiful raw sushi.
Like, holy smokes.
This looks fantastic.
And at a minimum, it'll make for a funny video.
It was outrageously good.
But yes, the portions are enormous.
She's right on the meal prep.
The problem with that, Josh,
I don't want to eat salmon tartar tomorrow that I bought today.
I don't care if it's good.
I don't want to eat it.
There's something about raw fish sitting in the refrigerator
that I just don't want.
So the portion is a little bit too big,
and the next time I get it, it'll be for a party.
But you know that it's already been there days, right?
Because that's the misconception is that you actually want it to age a couple days.
I just don't.
There's something about,
raw fish that I just I just don't want to eat it the next day.
Even if it's good.
This is a mental block for me.
I don't want it.
I don't want it after it's been sitting in my refrigerator.
A mental block indeed.
A mental block indeed.
I don't want it.
What I would like to do and what I should have done,
you take that nice tuna tartar, salmon pokey,
whatever the hell it is and you put it over a better rice.
I eat it plain.
I raw dogged it.
But over a better rice, this would have been delicious.
Listen, they call me KLO on the streets,
It's a king of leftovers, okay?
And listen, I'll bring leftovers back to a hotel without a refrigerator and just hope.
Yeah, you and my mom.
Me and Ava would have such a time.
We were just over the weekend.
I was at a family bat mitzvah.
My cousin got bat mitzvah.
And I want you to know that I watched my dad during cocktail hour,
take two big cubes of blue cheese, put them in a paper napkin,
and stick them in my mom's purse.
great. That's, yeah.
He said it's the best blue cheese I've ever had. Where is she going to get blue cheese like this?
I said, the store? What do you mean?
What do you mean where are you going to get blue cheese like this? It's blue cheese.
Gristides? Fairway? You pick. Whole foods? Where am I going to get blue cheese like this?
Ava. Ava, make a distraction. Make a distraction. I'm going to slip a couple pieces of queso in your purse.
I've never had blue cheese like this, Ava.
This is high end.
This was a, the funk, Eva, the funk on this cheese.
My, my God.
Hold on.
I'm going to make it, listen, do something.
Throw one of your, throw one of your worthers hard candies at the wall.
They're going to look that way, two blue cheese in the purse.
That's so good.
The deeper the funk, the better.
I love blue cheese.
I love smelling cheese.
Are you a smelling cheese guy?
Yeah, boss, I take, you know what I do?
I take a couple cubes of blue cheese.
I put it in a little canister and I throw it in the lip like a zin.
Wow, I love that.
That's, she, funky cheese, this is good.
No nicotine, just cheese.
No nicotine, just cheese.
No nicotine, just cheese.
Many breakers.
Some of the worst breath.
I don't think I can imagine worse breath than if you put a couple of pieces of blue cheese in your
Or lip.
Fuck that, brother.
And then we do like, see.
You think small, perro.
You think small, perro.
How's that guy doing?
Perro.
Perro, you think small, bro.
And then we do like seasonal drops.
You know, we do like a collab with Yarlsburg.
Sure.
You know, like, oh shit.
Like I got to get in line.
It's Munchego.
Orson would be a good one.
We could collab with laughing cow.
These are all nice, dissolvable.
Jesus.
Big brands.
Velvita.
Bay Bell.
You know?
Wow.
I haven't had a, is it Bay Bell or Baby Bell?
Who cares?
Okay.
I'm down.
I'm not care.
My kids like it with the little red wax on that.
The wheel?
Sick.
Yeah, you peel it back.
It's like a game for your cheese.
They gamified cheese.
I love that, let's just be, can we be transparent with the viewers?
So, you know, we basically launched Hidden Valley Black Ranch.
We did.
It feels weird saying it like that.
But we launched.
We launched it.
And so they were nice enough to reach out to us.
And Ben, and they were like,
would you like us to send you some?
We're so glad you mentioned it.
You like what I did there?
Ben right away goes in with some nice.
Listen, if you want to work with us in a real capacity,
show us, show us the money.
Look, Josh and I now, again, be transparent.
We're under the same roof.
We share an agent.
This is all in the family.
This is no longer.
There are no hoops to jump.
through. This is it. Okay. So yeah, can I send you our Black Ranch? You can for a sack of cash.
And we'll put something great together. Okay. Great. Oh, that's a good show. Is it Ranch?
Is it Ranch? Now that I'd watch. Right? And they bite into it and it oozes. It's just
There'd be no question whether it was ranch or not. Like it's just all down their shirts.
12,000, 12,000.
But by the way, like, we see these things and we really give it no context.
Like, what's this hidden valley they speak of?
I feel like we have found all the valleys.
I don't know at all.
Is it biblical?
What about public valley or like, you know, very clearly a valley?
That would be my dressing.
Clearly a valley.
Clearly a valley.
Clearly a valley.
But yes.
I love Hidden Valley.
I'll just say that.
They have a great ranch.
And their ranch seasoning powder, Josh?
I don't know if you fucked around with that.
That's the stuff.
Because you mix that with some Greek yogurt and you got a dip.
Correct.
That's that skinny mindset right there.
You want to put a little bit of that powder, dust it in some of your chicken salad, Josh?
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
It's fantastic.
But you're right to do this with like some of these brands are funny like this, right?
Because like, as we all know, I've found.
Finally, we've had a quid pro quo, a mea culpa with me and the Great Wingstop, right?
They made it right, okay?
They made a financial amends.
And by that I mean they sent me a couple hundred dollar gift card to Wingstop, I haven't used it yet.
But now they've gone too far.
They got too comfortable.
I'm on a mailing list now for their new Wingstop drops.
Every time I see an email from Wingstop, I go, this is the one where we partner up.
They go, funny you should say that.
Actually, absolutely not.
We have a new Chimoi wing.
And if you, there's a press embargo.
But you're allowed to talk about it on the podcast.
If you like, I go, I mean, I'm doing you a favor.
You know what it is, Josh?
These, these companies, Hidden Valley excluded, okay?
Love Hidden.
We love Hidden Valley.
Okay.
Hidden Valley excluded.
What these companies do is they don't yet understand how to work with a podcast.
or with somebody with the social media audience.
They're treating it as if it's Good Morning America.
And now Good Morning America is how they're there every day or these news shows are
every day and they always need something to talk about.
They're always looking for something to talk about.
So it's like, oh, do you want to be the first person to talk about Black Ranch?
That makes sense for that format.
For this format, do I want to be the first person to talk about Black Ranch?
There's no way I'm going to be the first person to talk about Black Ranch.
You know what I'm saying?
The idea of embargo.
Embargo.
It just doesn't make sense for us.
Okay?
I totally agree with you.
And I think they need to adopt this.
And I get it because these are big companies
and a lot of things need to be approved
in budgets and strategies and what have you.
But here's the thing.
When I was on Vine,
the first company that was really paying for ads
was this dating app called Badoo.
I'm pretty sure we were all money laundering.
But that's not my problem.
And basically, they would reach out to you
and they go, do one video.
You would do one video for them.
You would post it and within five minutes in your PayPal would be five grand, right?
Wow.
And then they would be like, great, it did well, you're easy to work with.
We'd like to do four next month.
And you just do one once a week and you'll get your PayPal hit.
I think brands should go, we're going to do it actually if Ben gets, you know, Ben gets a million dollars a post.
But let's just say, let's say in a world where someone gets, their rate would be $50,000 for a post.
You know what we're going to do?
We're going to get 10, what, maybe 20, 15, 20, and we're going to make it easy.
So we're going to say, listen, at your leisure, post something easy, the moment you post,
you'll have it in your PayPal account.
I think there's power in that to just, boom, you post and you see it in your account.
I think people would take a price cut doing that.
So, Josh, are you familiar with the affiliate platform shopmai?
Have you heard of it?
Yes, of course.
So Shopmai is more tailored towards your.
fashionistas. It's a little bit more female focused and it starts with affiliate links.
Right. But they do exactly what you just said. Somebody can go on, use a caraway pots and pans
hypothetically affiliate link. And if caraway sees that the affiliate link did well, they'll send,
hey, for five grand post this. The second you post the link will send you five grand. They do that.
Nice. Smart. It is smart. But it doesn't, it's not, it's just for beauty brands.
I'm telling you that's what because like
Right
It is a gap
Do you follow these like
I like these tertiary on the line
Um
influencers
A lot of them are my friends
We're like
You know even like my boy Nick Antonian or whatever right
Like a lot of his content is like
Kind of R rated on the edge
So it's not
Nick is crushing it by the way
I've messaged in the other day
His stuff has been so funny recently
Like the AI generated
like I wake up at 5 o'clock in the morning and I like his morning routines that are so unbelievably outlandish crack me up.
He crushes and they're not always the most brand friendly but then so then he can go work with like a, you know, a betting company or whatever.
And a lot of these guys don't do that like rain bet or whatever.
They'll be like, mention us once in your post.
Here's a couple.
Geez.
And yes, we're gambling.
Can you imagine that?
I mean, you know, me, I'm a draft king's guy, but I'm just saying.
That's so funny.
Yeah, I guess what brands?
I mean, plenty of brands should want to work with Nick.
Black Ranch?
Yeah.
Right?
I think that's very Nick.
I want to do an ad with Nick.
We got to get something together where I want to do our own version of the Sydney-Sweeney,
um, sports betting video.
Where he's naked?
Both of us.
Love it.
Right?
Love it.
Yeah, totally.
I'm showing a little neck.
You know?
Absolutely.
And he's showing nice belly?
Yes.
I can see it right now.
I can see it.
Good, good, good.
I love when you can see it.
Do you want to get into some weird stories?
Yeah, what's going on out there?
I would love to as well, I think.
Well, Clivicular reveals shopping bag penis growing method,
as Dr. Warns it can cause permanent damage.
I hate when people push back on Clivicular.
Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Peters,
that is not a 10 out of 10.
shared his top tip for growing his manhood,
which he claims can be done conveniently while driving.
But doctors are saying there's unlikely any benefits.
The 20-year-old admitted he was into print maxing,
print being well the imprint that one's size makes
against the fabric of their pants.
I guess, wow.
He does a thing called shopping bag hang trick
in which he fills a bag with books or weights.
then wraps it around his Johnson and just kind of he's stretched he allows it to stretch
over here okay he fills a bag with books or weights and straps it to his flaccid penis
yeah and he kind of lets it just hang around and you know and stretch stretch the ligament
okay yeah and uh he says it works and doctors say don't listen to a guy named clavicular
Um, why?
I know.
Why?
I know.
I know.
Who is it for, Josh?
Who's it for?
I think we take our natural God's gifts for granted, Ben.
And I think there are a lot of sad beta boys out there, not you or I.
But I think that those big, aren't there like plenty, like, aren't there plenty of women that still like,
like that.
I feel like there's a,
what's it?
There's a pot for every cover.
So what,
you have a small penis.
Go find a girl
that likes a small penis.
Right?
Yes.
You know?
We can't all be a lacrosette.
No,
maybe she has a,
maybe you have a small penis
and she has tiny nipples.
She's self-conscious about her tiny nipples.
You tell her that you love her tiny nipples,
as long as she loves your tiny penis.
Wow.
Right?
Okay.
Maybe she has one eye.
She'll like you and your tiny penis.
There's a pot for every cover.
I think that that is only a value ad.
When people have one of one, you kind of go like...
Totally.
I love that.
You don't just have a tiny penis.
You have the tiniest penis.
I dated a girl with a gap, big gap in her teeth,
and she distinctly did not repair it.
And it's one of my favorite things about her,
because I can tell that story now.
I like a little character.
Like, I want this girl to look like she could walk in Milan
or walk into a CVS and be a pharmacy tech.
That's what I want.
I agree.
You're looking for relatable.
I'm all in unrelatable.
Do you find moles relatable?
Moles?
Like, um...
A mole.
A mole.
Yeah.
No.
Okay.
No.
I'm just saying...
A nice mole?
What about Cindy Crawford?
That's like her whole thing.
See? No, it's not.
I didn't even know she had a mole.
This is a famous mole.
I don't think so.
Okay, it is.
I promise.
What else is distinct?
I don't know.
How do you feel about a widow's peak?
I have one.
You do?
Yes.
I've never really noticed.
I must not be that widowy.
If it's a man, is it a widowy?
Widowers peak.
Think about that.
It could be.
Should be.
It should definitely be.
I know, because we're smart.
Yeah.

season. Their momentous signature spec creatine is the cat's meow. Okay, creatine is one of the most
researched and effective supplements available. But as the category is exploded, most brands have
focused on flavors, formats, and marketing instead of actually making the creatine itself
better. That's why Momentus created signature spec creatine, their most advanced creatine ever,
setting a new standard for creatine quality. And if it's good enough for Bruce Soffer, it's good enough
for you. Momentus signature spec creatine is one of the only creatines to be manufactured in a pharmaceutical
facility using reverse osmosis water purification and verified through an expanded six-stage testing
process with four independent agencies. If you think creatine is right for you, and it's not just
for the gym rats. I've spoken about this in the past. It's great for the brain. It makes your brain

Well, a family theme park has been slammed over disrespectful Titanic ride for kids, but owner refuses to cave to woke brigade.
This is in the New York Post.
They're in deep ship.
A farm in the UK.
Excellent.
Excellent riding.
Has been ripped as distasteful by parents after rolling out a children's ride model after the Titanic.
The unsettling attraction is located.
at the Gravely Fruit Farm in Hitchin,
which opened up in 1981 and features Barry Picking a playground
and other family-friendly pursuits.
Well, I guess what happens is that you get on the ride
and it's, you know, normal.
And then it capsizes.
That's pretty crazy.
Yeah.
It's, I think, listen, as AOC said, woke one, am I right?
You can AOC yourself out.
You can't just say that everything is woke, by the way.
Like, it's just that there's nothing woke about that.
And I'm pretty anti-woke.
That's not woke.
The Titanic saw how many people die?
Thousands?
A tremendous amount of people died.
There's a wonderful movie about how many people died.
Or to be a children's ride is pretty distasteful.
I don't think that's like woke.
I think it's just like, it's weird.
It's weird.
All right
Well first of all
There was clearly

Well, in the New York Post, they say that over half of Aussie singles set their sights on breakfast dates.
What are these crazy Aussies doing?
The classic saying, the early bird gets the worm, or as they say in Australia, the early bird gets the worm, might also apply to dating.
A survey conducted by Kellogg's in Australia, wow, really official, showed that 64% of the country singles are open a meeting for breakfast on a first.
first date. Yeah, because it's sponsored by special K. Yeah, people are meeting for breakfast.
I think it's actually, I don't know, how do you feel about a breakfast state? I, I exclusively do
breakfast meetings. So much better. I'm up at breakfast date. No. This is not a romantic time of day.
I think if it's like a business meeting, you want to talk shop, no problem. But breakfast is not a
romantic unless unless you just woke up from sleeping together in the same house otherwise breakfast
is not romantic how am i going to meet you at the coffee shop no that's work as we all know
you know you've you've had plenty of walks of shame and one night stands no um but like let's do a
hypothetical how do you feel like i'm trying to think of uh um breakfast the next morning
after a, you know, a night of a romantic interlude.
Are you into it?
Are you kind of like, can we say goodbye here and maybe link up again for dinner another night?
In a hypothetical scenario.
Yeah.
Where this is a one-night stand is what you're saying, right?
I don't like this person or I do.
You do.
Maybe you're not sure.
You do, you know, you like them enough.
You had a nice time together.
It, maybe it's not even a one night stand.
Maybe this is your second or third date.
It went well.
You get a bite after.
Honestly, I see no future with you if I can't go to the diner with you.
Of course.
So, so yeah, I'm very pro waking up, popping over to the diner,
continuing the date, for sure.
The date is called life, Josh.
But I got stuff.
Oh, like you have things to do.
I got to go to.
Equinox.
Yeah, but in, okay, so in this world where you're dating someone, you wake up, maybe you both go to Equinox, Josh.
Maybe instead of Muhammad, it's Sally.
Or it's still Muhammad.
And you're gay.
Sally doesn't have lots like Muhammad, first of all, okay?
By the way, you don't know Sally.
Okay, Sally's Bill.
Yeah, I like to hang on to those wings.
That's not wing stop.
That's wing go.
I, you know, I guess, because what I was, here's what I was going to say, I would rather wake up before, get a nice, I mean, it is so easy to make a delicious, yummy thing.
All you have to do is have some sourdough eggs and avocado and toast, right?
And just like, knock out a killer, it'll take me 10 minutes to make something really yummy.
it'll show that I like can cook that I'm you know put some thought and effort into it nice glass
a fresh OJ and then it's like let's do this quick eat for 20 we'll chat I'll throw a towel over
my shoulder she could tell you girlfriends and I'm like old school you know and then she's out the
door that's what I would hope but then remember though she's in your plate like you're in someone's
place so you actually because then she might finish and be like so what
now or like, what are we up to?
And you'd be like, shit.
So is this a Sunday?
This is a weekend, right?
Because otherwise it's like, hey, I have to work.
Like, say, and area, right?
Like, work is the best excuse.
I actually, I have no problem.
I'm busy.
Josh, we have to, in this hypothetical scenario,
we have to be good at setting boundaries.
Sure, sure, sure.
We have to set boundaries.
At 2 o'clock, I'm going to see my parents.
sorry. No, you can't come.
Yeah. No. There's nothing wrong with that.
I'm going to the Big Apple Circus with my mother and she's going to sneak in some blue cheese and lamb chops.
That is correct. And no, you're not invited. Okay. No, you can't come, you know?
No, it's lamb for two. Okay? That's right. Lamb for two. That's right.
too.
Yeah, it's a hard, it's a hard balance.
Although if you go out, like in theory, if you go out to the diner, then of course, once you're done at the diner, then you could be like, listen, I'm going to, like, it's easier to say goodbye once a meal's over and you guys are walking out together to separate.
But then you got to make sure that she takes everything.
Then you got to be like, don't forget your jacket.
Oh, from your house.
Yeah.
She doesn't do a leave behind.
Right.
Got it.
You know, just take your backpack in case, you know, like.
It sounds exhausting.
I'm so glad we don't have to navigate that.
Can you imagine?
That's exhausting.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You want to do a little more on mail?
I'd love to.
Good Guys Podcast 1 at gmail.com.
Okay.
That's where you send in all your beautiful moron mail.
We'll read it aloud.
This one is controversial wedding date.
Hey, good guys, super moron here.
I like that, Josh, super moron.
Love.
I'm getting married next year and I'm super excited to be in the midst of the planning stage.
I just booked my date for next year at my dream venue.
Nobody had the date reserved and I also got a great discount.
Thank God.
The problem is that it's on 9-11.
I know it's controversial, but it was when we had our first kiss and it just worked out that way.
I have had a few family members tell me they won't be able to celebrate fully, which I get,
but I want to go out, I want to go about it the best way possible.
Any advice on things I should avoid doing during that day or what I can say to people when they confront me?
What are your thoughts? Thanks.
Because it's on 9-11?
Yeah.
You think people are going to confront her?
She said that a family member confronted her and said that they couldn't enjoy it fully because it was on 9-11.
and I feel like it's a day on the calendar.
Like you can,
I think you can have a wedding on 9-11
and it not be disrespectful.
Right.
Yeah.
I don't have an issue with it.
And that doesn't mean that you can't also mourn 9-11.
I don't think you have to mention it at the ceremony.
He did it earlier in the day.
Let me ask you this, Ben.
I think she should historically look up
when people started to hold events on December 7th.
Now, Ben, what happened on December 7th?
I don't know. You tell me.
The day that I'll live in infamy.
It was when we got attacked at Pearl Harbor.
So, I mean, we literally entered a world war over that.
So clearly people don't trip on it all these years later.
So I think with the considerate and respectful amount of time after that if that date is,
I also think, you know, it's very much like the Jewish way, right?
Of like, is there a way of the fact that they met on that day just by happenstance?
And now like to have this beautiful occasion if somehow, you know,
you're starting to add, you know, beautiful memories to what, of course,
was one of the worst days in American history.
Yeah.
I think that I love your Pearl Harbor example.
This is right.
This is right.
It's been 25 years.
I think that you can certainly wake up in the morning.
Pay your respects in the way that is right for you.
And then honestly, there's nothing more American than being married, Josh.
That's right.
So go.
Get married.
Live your life.
Now, do you want your animal?
to always beyond 9-11.
That's right.
This is up to you.
I think if you can move it now that I'm thinking about it,
it's not the happiest day.
They're happier days.
Now that I think about it, you're right.
It's really unacceptable.
I'm glad we had this.
You know what this was?
this was a think tank.
And you know what the result is?
How dare you?
Totally.
And disrespectful are you?
You want to save a couple of bucks?
Yikes.
People died.
Yeah, come on.
Get over yourself.
It's horrible.
I have no advice for you.
Wow.

All right. Well, this next lady needs some marriage advice, Josh. Okay.
Hey, Josh and Ben. I'll keep it, keep it brief and then writes four paragraphs.
I truly don't know what to do anymore and I really need your advice.
I've been with my husband for nearly eight years.
we have two kids. Recently, his drinking has gotten much worse, and his behavior has become incredibly
controlling and erratic. Here is what I'm dealing with on a daily basis. False accusations. He constantly
accuses me of cheating, even though my life is strictly split between being at work and being home
with the kids. Double standards. He demands total access to my phone at any time, but I am strictly
forbidden from seeing his. Deflex and guilt-tripping. If I ask him to slow down on the drinking,
he snaps that I'm acting like his mother and ruining his fun.
He then claims I don't love him and laments that he is just a disappointment.
Extreme control.
If I try to take care of myself like putting on a cute outfit, doing my makeup,
wearing perfume or even brushing my teeth,
he gets angry and demands to know who I'm dressing up for.
Paranoia and suspicion.
If I have a random bruise or tell him my stomach hurts,
he immediately interrogates me about who has been touching me or what I've been doing.
I don't know how to handle the situation.
more I feel completely awesome.
I would love to hear your thoughts.
Wow.
I mean, there's so much to say except the main thing, which is what she opened with, right?
Many psychologists, if you go in and you go for therapy and you say, I have a drinking
problem and then you talk about, you know, five other things that are going on in your life,
there are many not all subscribed to this, but many will say, let me stop you right there.
Like, I can't help you if you're trying to.
drinking, um,
addictively,
because you're,
you're building on quicksand.
Um,
it is the great equalizer.
It will wipe out any level of growth,
any level of change.
It just is.
It will always reset you back to zero and worse.
So I would say first and foremost,
like clearly him drinking is only making this cascade of
completely unacceptable behavior even worse.
And it's got to start there.
But,
she's got a she's in a rough spot what do you think i'm happy that she wrote in i do hope that
she seeks um other help outside of us um because it sounds like a pretty serious situation um
but he sounds he sounds like he's making me very unhappy um so regardless of whether it's
drinking or whatever he's doing.
It sounds to me like he's the type of person that is not comfortable within his own
skin and he's deflecting a lot.
And the tough part, Josh, is having two kids.
I don't really know what you do when you have two kids.
I guess you could still do like a marriage counseling or something like that.
But it does seem like a lot of it stems from drinking.
But yeah, I would do something.
Right.
I wouldn't ignore it.
I think that, no, absolutely not.
Clearly she needs to have strong boundaries.
And the truth is it's your bottom line, right?
Which is what you can construct.
And as Ben said, it's not easy.
When you're in a marriage, when you have so much connection and you have kids,
it's really hard to keep that bottom line, which is like if you drink, if you, you know,
fall victim to this behavior, I'm leaving.
I'm X, right?
You have to figure out what you're really willing to stick to.
And as Ben said, I think, you know, enlist help.
And the help in the beginning can just be podcasts and getting some, you know, really good, you know, experts in this field, which you are not special in the way that there have been so many people that have dealt with an abusive partner before.
So I would say get as much resource, as much information and support as you can.
and yeah, this guy sounds rough.
He sounds rough.
It's a terrible situation to be in.
The idea of the worst part of it for me is the accusations of cheating.
Like, terrible.
To be accused of something like that for no reason, it's terrible.
It's hard to know, right?
Because in sobriety, I've seen people who have literally become like, you know,
when they were not sober, the worst of the worst.
everything this woman is saying and more.
And then they got sober, they did the work.
And they really turned into respectable great people.
I also know that there are people who are like this, who just happen to drink too much.
And even if they get sober, they will still be scoundrels and villains.
And I think that's what you got to figure out, which one is this guy.
Yeah.
I mean, she's known her husband a long time.
I wonder if he's always been like this or if the drinking makes it worse because you're totally right.
If she can clearly see that the drinking is what's making it worse,
then you know the problem that you need to solve together.
Right.
If it's a character flaw and he's just an asshole,
that's a totally different story.
And maybe figure out what he drinks and then like maybe like make fun of him for it, right?
Like if he's really into mint juleps, be like, really?
You know, you're getting drunk from a, you know, a dirty Shirley.
fucking loser.
I love a sugary drink.
So do I.
I mean, I think I do.
Hey, can we talk?
I mean, we didn't talk about
current news stories or anything,
but are you hearing this?
It's Sidney Sweeney.
It looks like is converting to Judaism.
We got another one.
No, I'm kidding.
I'm kidding.
I'm kidding.
I did see.
I did hear,
and I did kind of know all right.
already.
Wow.
He's friends with Scoot.
But I'm a good friend.
I say nothing.
I say nothing.
Except what you should be telling Scooter is, hey, you're in your 40s.
You're Scott.
I'm not calling you Scooter dog.
Scooter.
You can tell him that.
I will.
By the way, big fan.
Big fan.
I'm just saying.
And by the way, she would be just such a wonderful addition to the, you know,
tribe. We'll take, we'll take anyone. I just want to say that. It's a very hard thing to do.
I don't know if most people know this, but converting to Judaism is not, I want to be Jewish.
Converting to Judaism often leads to more religious Jews than Jews that are born Jews.
Because you go through a years-long conversion process that requires a lot of learning and effort.
And so, and they do that because you need to want to be Jewish, is the,
idea. Not that you're doing it for somebody else, that you're doing it for yourself. And if that
happens to benefit somebody else and so that you can get married and whatever, then that's a
different story. But the idea is that you're doing it for yourself. And yeah, she's one of the
most famous people in the world. I mean, it'd be crazy. It would be, it would be crazy.
Sweeney's ahead of the Hadassah?
I mean, can you imagine this?
No, it would be, it would be, it would be unbelievable.
I really would be.
I mean, and if she starts speaking Yiddish, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to blow up.
You know, if I see her and she goes, can I tell you how I'm schvitzing here?
I'm hollishing.
You know, if we share a meal and she's like, zobble some of that fucking tomato sauce with the bread.
Do the zobling.
I mean, we went, shout out to the great Fletch Palmer, you know.
My father-in-law is a quarterback coach for Santa Margarita high school in OC.
They're unbelievable.
And his former player that he coached at USC, Carson Palmer's the head coach.
His son is a quarterback.
So it's so cool to watch Ken be like the quarterback coach of this team.
And Fletch is crushing it.
And so recently we were at a game and I started a chant.
And I was like, we don't need to quetch.
We've got Fletch.
We don't need you.
How many people chanted with you?
9.0.0.
They're like, there he is.
My wife's got a real kick out of it.
It's really good.
Oh my God, that's so good.
Should we do Woodya Nuts?
Our Whatia Nuts moment of the week is our gripes with people,
places, and things, both big and tall, whatever's sticking in your craw.
Josh.
As I mentioned, I recently traveled.
I flew from Florida to New York for a wedding, not a wedding for a bat mitzvah.
And the TSA agent was a little handsy.
I'm not going to lie to you.
I don't know if you've had this before.
I am wearing, I don't have a single thing in my pocket.
My only crime is that perhaps my legs are a little bit too fat.
Sometimes, I guess, not sometimes always, they rub up against each other a little bit.
And so often, when I go through that metal detector or whatever the hell it is,
because it's not detecting metal, Josh.
It's detecting flesh.
Sure.
That flesh machine, it mistakes my inner thighs for things in my inner thighs.
And they come up.
You got two bottles of smart water in there.
Like, no, I just have cellulite.
Like, I don't know what you want me to tell you.
By the way, me too.
And so I go through.
And the woman's like, we're going to need a man.
I'm like, okay, whatever.
The guy comes up.
He's like, do you want to go to a private room?
I'm like, what is this?
What are you?
No, I want you right here right now.
I don't want you touching me in a private room, freak.
Yeah.
So he starts going.
He's on the thighs.
He's on the ass.
And he really did grab my dick.
He did.
He did.
Look, it's his job.
Okay?
It's his job, I guess.
But I just, I want you to know, Josh, that the TSA agent was very handsy,
very handsy.
Very handsy.
And I think that's a Woody and Nuts.
I think that these billion dollar TSA machine should be able to detect between metal and fat.
Totally agree.
My Woody Nuts moment of the week was, I was it.
I got in this car and we were going to this event and this woman, very nice.
She got in the front seat and she was hum singing.
Winnie nuts.
If you're anywhere and you're just kind of like
Hey, don't do that.
Hey, don't do that.
No.
There's people here.
No hums singing.
What are you nuts?
Save it.
Park it.
Yeah.
Shut it down.
Swallow it.
Shut it down.
Josh.
Ben.
Sweet deceit.
Yeah.
Mondays, 10 p.m.
It's very late.
The next day,
HBO Max,
ever heard of it?
Folks, this episode's five stars.
Otherwise, what are you nuts?

But watch us on Spotify,
okay?
A lot of you are watching us on YouTube,

Smart.
But you can watch us there,
and then you can watch us on Spotify too,
