The following podcast is a dear media production.
Two Jews, both big and tall, no subject, too small for the good guys.
A mother's dream, premium podcast team, make it your weekly routine, it's a good guys.
And if you don't give us five stars, what are you nuts?
What are you nuts?
Yeah, we're the good guys.
We're not the great guys.
Miles and morons, welcome.
back to the Good Guys podcast.
Oh, Josh, being here in person with you.
It's better.
There's really nothing better.
It's easier.
It's also just like geeked.
I'm light, you know?
Maybe not physically, but emotionally, I'm light.
I'm overwhelmed.
I'm plotting.
I just want to use all the Yiddish words to tell you.
I'm Kvailing.
I'm kvalling.
I'm Kvali, I'm .
What does that mean again?
Undershtipping.
Undershtub means rich.
Ah, he's undist.
By the way, did I lie?
My mother used even.
Yes.
My mother used to shorten me and go,
you know, Mr. Friedman, he's younger.
He's zunga.
He's zunga.
Wait, there's, hollishing, have you seen that?
No.
Hollishing is like, schvitzing is like,
I've got a little sweat on my brow.
Hollishing is like blood pressures through the roof.
I'm drenched.
So you're gonna die.
That's like, you're almost at a heart attack.
Yeah.
Arteries closing.
I could be.
Hollishing.
Hollishing.
Hollishing.
Hollishing.
I'm hollishing.
like, baseman, I'm hollishing.
What about, I just, I think Hamas listens to this podcast to get pumped up.
They should.
Yeah.
I would.
They go, they go, they go.
Yeah, we're in the right business.
We're ready for these fuckers.
I was hollishing this morning, Josh.
I came in from the Hamptons, got into my car.
I sent you a picture.
It's at two hours and 55 minutes.
Had me getting here at 9.50.
We're recording at 9.30.
I said, I have a game now.
I have a game.
and I'm going to get here before 930.
I sent you the screenshot just so that you'd know that I wasn't lying to you.
And I got here maybe two minutes late.
But Josh, this had me thinking, how fun would it be if Polly Market, for example,
was able to get the odds on me, my driving, my ways time, over 50 minutes, over 950, under 950.
And we do it live.
The good guys, listeners.
can all say, Ben's going to beat it because he's going to do ex-elegal things to do it.
Or Ben's not going to beat it because he racked up $2,500 in bustling bills and he can't afford
another ticket.
Yes.
Right?
Wouldn't it be fun?
I would trade on that all day.
I think so.
End night.
It's fun.
And it just kind of got me thinking, what can't you trade on on polymarket?
Should we look it up?
We should.
What's hot on polymarket right now?
I mean, I mean, last week it was LeBron, but LeBron has since made a decision.
A bad one.
And by the way, that decision, if you traded it on Polly Market,
holy smokes, you're probably buying a mansion in the hills.
Yeah, you were doing just fine.
Because we were certain it was going to be Miami.
And then he said, I want to be in the city of brotherly love.
I want to eat cheese steaks.
I want to be in a class B city and do the Kobe.
You heard that he's doing that?
He's living in Manhattan and helicoptering into Pennsylvania.
He should be, LeBron, get a nice Pieter in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
Heard of it.
You should.
You know, when he be amongst the people?
100% if he should be in Jersey.
Yeah, South Jersey.
You can get a beautiful, beautiful house in Jersey.
And then you could, and then if you want, you get a helicopter.
That said, I don't think you want to do that.
Like, Kobe kind of like, it didn't end great.
It's just, you miss him every day.
Every day.
And it seems it's one of those things where it's just a little unnecessary.
I was asking my wife recently because I had chat GPT put together an AI,
thin line tattoo of the.
numbers 24 made out of a snake.
And I said,
should I get this tattoo?
Yeah.
I was really,
really sad and nostalgic
for my boy K-B,
and she was like,
are you okay?
Can you imagine?
K-O-B-E-R-Y-A-N-T.
Ah, you could put Kobe's names
on the bottoms of your toes.
That's not.
It's 10.
Kobe starting at the pinky,
K-O-B-B-R-Y-A-N-T,
and then when you flash it,
Kobe Bryant.
What do you think about that?
Maybe it's just Kobe Briya because eight lucky.
Sure.
Okay.
So you're cutting off two of your toes or we're going to put something else there?
Either or.
Okay.
I'm not married to my ring toes.
No, by the way, what do they do?
Nothing stability.
I was going to say until you try and walk.
What do they do?
Yeah, so what's going on on Polymarket?
I can't, I don't have any reception in here.
Could I get on the Wi-Fi?
Oh, I have it.
What's going on on Polymark?
Is there a Dear Media Wi-Fi?
I got it.
I know you do.
You always do.
I got a Polly market.
The market of Polly.
So, yeah, last week it was LeBron.
And today, let's see, the Fed decision in July.
That's hot.
Yeah.
Michigan Democratic Senate primary winner.
Also hot.
The NBA 2027 champion.
Let's look at that.
Yes.
We have the Thunder at 22%.
The Spurs at 20%.
The 76ers at 14%.
and my New York Knicks at 9%.
They just won.
It's not going to happen for the...
You don't think we're getting a back-to-back?
Never.
I think that the Philadelphia 76ers being at 14% is laughable.
That team...
This is a sports podcast, by the way.
That team...
No good.
He should have gone to the Spurs.
Imagine him and Wembe.
Was that even an option?
Why not?
Was any...
He signed for $4 million.
He signed for $4 million.
less than Landry Shammit.
He could go wherever.
Was every team an option?
If he had said, I want to be on the Pelicans.
Yes, that could have happened.
Every team was an option.
Every single team.
The Knicks?
No.
For $4 million, it was probably an option.
But my hunch is LeBron wanted to bring, it's not a hunch.
LeBron wanted to bring a championship to a team that hasn't had a championship in a while.
He wanted to be that savior.
So he's going to Philly, a great sports town where the 76ers haven't won in.
forever. So if he's able to do that, they build the statue. The Knicks are already building
the statue of Jalen Brunson. If LeBron goes in there and does it, it's kind of like what Durant did
on the Warriors, where the Warriors already won with Curry, Durant then went and it's like, cool.
You helped a championship team win a championship. No, you helped the city of brotherly love
raise the Larry O'Brien trophy. What's the city of sisterly love? Portland. A lot of lesbians.
Not yes. I don't know. I don't know. No, I think that's true. The city of sisterly love. And that's why I
Like, Portland.
Love.
Sisterly love.
I guess, yeah, Portland.
Okay.
And if it's not, it should be.
It should be.
They should, I think it would help with tourism.
Yeah.
I'd go.
Home of the lesbians?
I'm there.
H-O-L?
H-O-L.
Home of Lesbo.
My favorite.
I mean, honestly, maybe my favorite people.
The best.
The greatest.
The best.
Josh, tell me.
Louin.
Sure did.
You're here.
Sure, in New York.
What is it about?
I've had this before.
There's nothing worse flying in.
It's disgusting weather outside today.
How terrible is that?
They couldn't have given you a nice, sunshiney day?
I will say now that it's really stormed, good and stormed, humidity is gone.
Yes.
It's mid-seven.
I mean, we'll see when we get out of here.
It's around 10 a.m. right now.
So we'll see when we get out of here if it's just dead dog dummy hot.
Yeah.
But I don't think so.
It might not be.
The city hasn't been hot.
The New York hasn't been hot at all.
The last couple of weeks, we've been in heaven.
It's been at like cruising, high 70s, low 80s.
It's been fantastic.
But I just feel like whenever I arrive somewhere, I guess it's different.
You go to New York all the time from New York.
But like when I go on a trip, like I went to Seattle seven months ago for a work trip.
And I was excited to see Seattle.
But I couldn't see it because it was 100% fog, even though that's what happens in Seattle all the time.
But I like, when I'm not from somewhere.
and I'm spending a couple hours there.
I like it to be the best.
But that is Seattle at its best.
Then I don't want to go there anymore.
They never called it sunny Seattle.
Yeah, I don't want to go there anymore.
I don't want to go there.
I don't want to go there and get a sunburn.
No.
It's overcast.
It's part of it.
You go to Pike's Place.
You go to the where they throw the fish.
Sure.
You know what I mean?
Sure.
You go do the thing.
And it's overcast and it's wonderful.
I went.
I ate a cheesecake factory and I got back on the plane.
Wow.
You got none of it.
Zero. You were like, I don't care if Kurt Cobain from here, I want to leave. I don't care at all. No. If it was a sunny day, perhaps I would have gone and explored the marine life because I have heard Seattle's marine life. I heard it's like being in Alaska.
Your marine life crazy. This is why I love Vancouver 90 minutes away from Seattle. That's pretty lovely. Have you done that drive?
Same climate. No, I try not to cross borders willy-nilly. Yeah, true. I don't know.
pain in the ass.
I don't want to see immigration, you know, the people at the border.
I feel like they have to put on a little bit of a veneer of like, I'm a tough guy,
and I'm just such a softie.
Yeah.
I want to be like, get to know me.
You know, when you fly into Canada.
Yes.
They have the people, this is a what are you nuts on Josh Peck's part.
They have the immigration people there as you're walking through at the airport.
And of course, it's Canada.
So they'll say, uh, hello, bonjour.
And then they'll, you know, wait for you to rest.
respond and I just being affable and a man of many countries go bonjou and then they go
I'm not just so blah blah blah and they start talking for something like I I can't I don't know I'm just
I just wanted to say I he said be sure yeah sava sava so about tre bien oh that's pretty good uh
uh... sava like what's up you good sova tre dee yeah very good can I pull off french
Sava, trevien, cuckoo.
You could be French.
I could be French.
You have a little French.
I have no French, right?
I'm like, you know what I am?
What?
I think we just figured it out.
French?
I'm the Johnny Chase to Timothy Chalbay.
I'm Kevin Dillon.
By the way, I'm fully Johnny Chase to Claudia anyways.
And to you.
Am I just,
Johnny? I'm Johnny Chase.
I love Johnny, by the way. Can we get
him on the pod? Dude, Johnny Chase said
Viking Quest and I have Drinking Josh.
Yeah. And by the way, he had victory
and I have emphasis.
This is too close.
And Oprah. And Oprah. And you sent me that clip of
Oprah. Can we... I know. Unbelievable. Oprah
knows who you are. So on Drinking Josh,
as we know, my character was obsessed with Oprah
weirdly so.
Like, to weird levels.
Yeah, which is what made it funny. Like that writing.
is like so incredibly dumb.
So dumb.
That it was so great.
It was like Oprah.
Yeah.
So random.
And by the way,
it's been two decades of Oprah lore,
and we know that she knows who you are and likes you.
She likes me.
I guess I want to believe that the producers didn't prep her before,
but the fact that she was even open to answering that question.
Yes.
What a queen?
Queen.
A hero.
Oprah.
You want to come on the pot.
Oh, my God.
We're so safe.
We're so nice and we're so product-centric.
She could come on to Oprah's favorite things.
Right here, we love talking about products.
We'll talk about your whole list.
Whole list.
We'll do Oprah's book club.
We'll do what Oprah's eating.
What is Oprah eating right now?
I have no idea.
We know she's on GLP once.
We'll do a row spot.
100%.
Yes.
I'm doing my Wacovae.
I'm taking my Zepound.
it. Oh, wow.
Roe.co.
Slash good.
Really good.
Yeah, that was pretty wild.
So, yeah, I was on my flight yesterday here to beautiful Newark, New Jersey, where my people
are from.
Let me tell you, and we talked about this, there's something I love.
I don't like this JFK airport.
I love John Franklin Kennedy.
Was it Franklin?
No, Fitzgerald.
I love John Fitzgerald Kennedy more than anybody.
Yes.
The space program.
Yes.
Other stuff.
The Cuban Missile Crisis.
Totally.
Yes.
I'm up to that part in Madman where he's, he just won.
Yeah.
And they were campaigning for, I forget who it was on the other side.
And let me tell you, JFK won in case anybody didn't know.
He was.
1962.
He was.
Yeah.
He was.
And he could have done.
Very accomplished man.
Fabulous guy.
But this airport's a no good.
It's a no.
Just I have never gotten from JFK airport into the city at any time of day, even at midnight in faster than an hour.
You?
So JFK.
I have a hack for that.
Okay.
It wouldn't work today
and you would have been completely fucked today
because the weather is terrible.
The van work.
But the hack is Blade.
Blade has an airport transfer.
Now listen to me on this.
I want to do Blade bad.
$199.
You take an eight-minute helicopter
from JFK to 30th Street.
Insane.
And I wouldn't be mentioning that
if it wasn't $199.
If you're traveling by yourself
and you're taking an Uber,
it's probably $150.
For sure.
So if you're with a family and you're traveling,
it no longer makes sense.
It is too much money because then you're spending $1,000 to save an hour.
And sometimes you then have to put your bags on an Uber.
Yes.
Because of the weight limit on the helicopter.
Exactly. Sure.
If you're by yourself and you're traveling, a dream.
Genius.
Now, JFCK lost all of its credibility.
When Terminal 5, okay, Terminal 5 doesn't allow Ubers.
That's JetBlue.
Terminal, right? Correct. No Ubers. You have to take a FACTA train to Howard Beach and get an Uber.
Are you kidding me? Imagine you booked. You didn't know this. You booked a Mint flight.
You flew JetBlue Mint. You spent all that money.
Flew from Los Angeles to JFK. You arrived on time. You get to your terminal.
You can't get a car. You're stranded. You hop on a, you go from Mint to the Howard Beach local?
This is ruining JFK's reputation.
And by the way, it's ruining the president's name and reputation.
Yeah.
Okay?
Because all I think, JFK, bad airport.
I don't think any accomplishments.
I think bad airport.
Okay?
Yeah.
That's honestly why nobody wants to talk about it.
But Trump, very smart.
Renaming the PBI airport, Donald Trump, it's the smallest, easiest airport.
It'll only help his rep.
Palm Beach International?
Correct.
Do you are that?
It's going to be Donald Trump.
It already is.
You didn't see this?
It's Donald Trump International.
It happened, Josh.
It happened, Josh.
And this is the best airport.
It is going to help him so much.
Everybody's like, I said the best experience at Donald J. Trump International.
That is so good.
And it's only international because it flies to the Bahamas, I'm sure.
I have no idea where it goes to.
For sure.
It's not flying.
It's not flying to Europe.
No, they are putting in, I guess as more people moved to Palm Beach, they're adding roots.
Let me tell you, Josh.
This is like, have you been to the Charleston airport.
I have it.
I'm dying to go.
It's like, it's like that.
They're so small.
You're in and out of there.
Oh, I love a small air for it.
I love Sacramento.
It's wonderful.
This episode of the Good Guys podcast is brought to you by our friends at the Diamond Crystal Salt Company.
Folks, I'm here to tell you about my favorite salt in the world.
We're talking Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt.
Now, Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt has been used in professional kitchens and culinary schools for generations.
It's the same salt.
Chefs rely on now available in.
size is designed for everyday home cooks.
It's light, flaky, and let me tell you, you don't even realize how much you need this
type of salt.
Because today, let me guess, you have regular kosher salt, very finely ground, very useful.
I totally understand.
But then if you want to put a little, I don't know, sprinkle on top of your avocado toast
or maybe on top of your cookies, then all of a sudden needs to switch salt.
there is something so special about diamond crystal kosher salt where the flakes are just big enough
that when you pinch them you can feel them but small enough that you can still use it for things
like pasta it is really it's truly mind-blowing and it's it's the only salt that i will use now
because i don't like okay you read a recipe i know what you're going to say ben you tell me to put
a tablespoon of salt on your sub stack yeah because you have to say something but i hate when i
see a recipe. They say a tablespoon of salt. No, don't tell me a tablespoon of salt. I'm going to season as I go.
I'm going to taste and then I'm going to reseason. And the best way to do that is by feeling the salt,
sprinkling in a little diamond crystal kosher salt, tasting as you go. Folks, it's absolutely the best
texture out of this world. And you need it. You need diamond crystal kosher salt. You need it because
diamond crystal kosher salt has been made in one place, St. Clair, Michigan for 140 years. It's the same incredible craft
process developed in 1886. It's the same that they use today. This is a part of what makes
Diamond Crystal kosher salt so unique. So if you're looking for a better way to season and
prepare everyday meals, you really need to try Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt, a chef trusted,
additive free salt made with light, flaky crystals for easy control available online and
nationwide at your favorite stores like Target, Kroger, Amazon, and more. This episode of the
Good Guys podcast is brought to you by our friends at ChiliPad. All right, morons, listen up because
this one is for every single one of you who's still sweating through your sheets while your
AC is cranked down to the lowest possible setting. Your wife is wrapped up like a burrito.
Under 17 blankets. She's freezing. You're lying there next to her generating enough body heat
to warm a small village. The thermostat is set to whatever temperature lost the argument last.
And shocker, nobody is sleeping well. What do you nuts? Insert the chili pad, but not just any
chili pad.
Chili pad 2.0.
The completely redesigned, upgraded, and now even better bed cooling system that ends the thermostat
war for good, because quality sleep should not depend on who won the last fight about
the temperature.
Folks, here's how the chili pad works.
2.0 water-based mattress topper that sits on top of your existing mattress, controls
your temperature from 55 to 115 degrees.
So if your wife wants to sleep in boiling water, she can.
do that. I don't know why you would. She'll probably end up wetting the bed, but she could do that,
and you can sleep nice and freezing cold. And the ChiliPad 2.0 is a serious upgrade from what came
before. The new dock is quieter with a bigger internal water tank, so you're not stopping to refill
it every couple of days. The topper is now a premium waterproof cover that unzips and goes right in
the wash because life with kids is messy and your sleep setup should be easy. Honestly, don't
blame the kids. You're just messy. The nightstand remote is the part I want everyone to hear. Each
side of the bed gets its own dedicated physical.
physical thermostat with sensors that detect the moment you get into bed and automatically
kick off your sleep program.
No app.
It's important.
Everybody's like, oh, get the app.
No, no app.
I don't want the app.
I want my phone away for me.
I want to just, you know, relax before I go to sleep.
So they have a physical remote that is absolutely wonderful.

You love Sacramento's airport or you love
of Sacramento.
Both.
Okay,
I've never been there.
Sacramento,
it's the city of trees.
I don't know if that's the name,
but they're proud of the trees.
A lot of greenery.
It's fine.
A lot of drug addicts in the city center
near city hall.
State capitals tend to be
interestingly slightly ratchet.
Yeah, Albany.
Why the fuck is Albany the state capitol?
By the way,
Mario Cuomo Airport.
True.
Shout out, Mario.
True.
Yeah, it's a fascinating
dichotomy, but I'm always, because you have
like George H.W. Bush Airport
in Houston. Yep. Right?
Yep. Like that's, that's a
big, big city, big airport.
Huge. J.F.K. You know?
And then Donnie T. is like, listen,
let me get my bomb. Like, I'm trying to
think of what would be like
the Al Gore's
Fresno airport.
Portland. Yeah, that'd be hot.
That would be, like
Barack Obama, it should be, it should
be O'Hare, Chicago. Yeah.
Yeah, it should.
And it probably will be.
I think it's pretty rare.
I don't know from O'Hare to Obama.
I don't think.
Welcome to my airport.
I don't think that there's been a name change of an airport during a presidency.
I'd love to know.
I feel like it's typically after the fact.
It's weird.
Or after they're dead.
Well, you know, because he tries or Trump has sort of tried to take the Kennedy Center
and made it the Trump Center.
So imagine Trump like starts taking private businesses.
like it's not cinnabon, it's trumpabond.
By the way, delicious.
Cineabon is so good.
Oh my God, beyond.
But it really will kill you.
You think how many cinnabuns until you die?
Two and a half.
No, seriously.
One cinnabon, I'm ready.
I'm having diarrhea.
Two, I'm eating two, but having diarrhea.
Let's talk about the hierarchy of mall treats.
Ooh.
Like, because there's the food court proper.
We know this.
But then there are these other places, right?
They're either a kiosk.
They're on their way throughout the mall.
It's a quick.
Tell me, Antianz.
Right.
Or is it a Wetzel pretzel?
Then there's an orange julius.
These are my favorites.
These are so good.
You go up, you get a Diet Coke, the little Anteans nuggets, and you dip him in the cheese.
Yep.
Ooh.
You know, Auntie Anteans has pigs in a blanket now.
Wow.
But their pretzel coating.
My kids go nuts.
Wow.
That sounds absolutely unbelievable.
It's just funny.
Is that a corn dog?
A pretzel corn dog?
Is that basically what that is?
No, it's a pig and a blanket in a pretzel crust.
It's not a corn dog at all.
Is it a corned dog in a pretzel?
No.
Corn dog is a cornbread out of corned dog.
Yeah, and this is out of pretzel.
Is a pig and a blanket really just a small dog eat corn dog?
Because it's either...
Because it has the ends exposed.
Ends exposed and is filo dough, which I think is far superior to the cornbread exterior.
By corned corned eggs suck.
They're not my favorite.
I don't like them at all.
Yeah.
They're not good at all.
They should be better.
It's just too, it's too clashing flavors to me.
The corn bread doesn't go with the hot dog.
It's just not right.
It sure isn't.
It's not, right?
You know what's really good?
Tell me.
It's making really healthy things slightly bad.
And shout out my boy, Luca, who makes this delicious.
He makes this lentil.
soup. How good are lentils?
Unbelievable. The ultimate thing. I don't think we eat them enough and people are afraid
to cook them. It's just like cooking pasta. So easy.
They're fucking buy lentils and make them. They're so good.
And the great, what's his name? Tom Roth, the lead singer of radio heads basically said,
you cannot be a vegetarian if you have a bad relationship with lentil. That makes sense.
True, because it's a whole food. Yes. He makes this delicious, beautiful lentil soup,
my boy, Luca. And I've always wondered what's the secret ingredient. And then he goes,
It's hot dogs.
What?
Actually, that makes sense.
He chops up, it's like a beautiful, he makes a beautiful base with, you know, he's making
like a great broth with all this seasoning.
And then like it's really a thick soup with the lentil.
And then he chops up about a dozen Hebrew National Hot Dog.
That makes sense.
I love that he does that.
It's a kosher king replacing like a panchetta vibe.
Right.
That is.
That salt.
That is a fantastic idea.
Protein.
Speaking of fantastic ideas, Josh, you know what I made?
made last week. He would love this. I made an inside out egg roll salad. Wow. I took everything that you
love in an egg roll. I took minced chicken cabbage, uh, carrots, soy sauce. I made a duck sauce
vinaigrette. No, no, no. This was outrageous. Oh, it sounds great. It was outrageous. It was so
delicious. Oh. So, and I also made a bed of raw napa cabbage. He still got that crunch.
And then you had the cooked egg roll filling the crunchy wanton's, the duck sauce.
sauce vinaigrette. That was my best bite of the week. Wow, that sounds fab. It was.
This is not product placement, but I saw it at the CBS when I was getting my energy drink,
and I said, I wonder if Ben's had these. Speaking of Best Buy of the Week. Now, we've all had
a nerds gummy cluster. My God, I'm so happy that you've brought me getting me nerds.
But have you had the nerds juicy gummy cluster? Again, not product placement, not an ad,
should be. Let me see this. Should be. Have you had this? No, definitely not.
So they've taken the gummy cluster, which as we know is the texture.
play of all texture plays.
Oh, and you got such a good flavor, strawberry punch.
It's the hard nerd exterior with like a gummy interior, but now...
I think I can smell them through the bag.
Probably.
I think they make the bag, they put a scent on it.
Scratch and sniff?
It's like a little...
I can't smell them through the bag.
Is my mind playing tricks on me?
I saw it and I smelled it.
It might be your olfactory is overtaking.
Can you smell it or no?
No.
That's weird.
What the fuck?
Are you down to try one on?
Of course I am.
I need to know because it's not an ad.
How many calories?
What are we talking about?
It's not a little.
It's $2.50 for the whole bag.
Oh, great.
So we each have one?
What is that?
25.
If that.
But now they've added, there's an,
they're basically gushers with nerds on top.
Can you imagine?
I can't imagine.
I can't imagine.
I can't imagine.
And chewing is hot on my podcast.
Oh my God.
Oh, my God.
Chewing is hot.
These look gorgeous.
Yeah.
Wait till you bite in.
You've had it?
Oh, yeah.
Oh, my God.
This is why I want to do it for you.
Oh, my God.
Hmm.
I told you.
Did I tell you?
I think I did.
This is...
I'm not joking.
I told you.
This is the single most delicious piece of candy I've ever had in my life.
I know.
I'm in awe.
It's three great things.
Why don't work...
Is this new?
Brand new.
Why don't more people know about this?
People in general are done.
My mind is exploding.
I know it is.
I know.
And that flavor in particular, there's nothing aggressive.
Sometimes you get a bad nerds flavor.
And those outside crystals are just a little bit too acidic.
Okay.
This is that strawberry, that sweet strawberry.
With the innered, it's not even a gusher.
I'm trying to think what it is.
Beautiful balance.
It's hardier than a.
gusher. It's got more, it's got more of a bite.
It honestly, it honestly
puts gushers to fucking shame.
They can't be in the same conversation.
That's the, that's the greatest piece of candy I've ever
had. Wow. That's huge.
In the, in the sweet,
gooey, gummy variety,
I've never had anything better than that.
GGV. Do you agree?
I know it's good. What could be better?
I know it's good. No, but what's better?
Maybe one of those sunburns.
candies at Passover.
The gems.
Those are delicious.
Why do they throw those out?
What's up for a sweet new year?
It's also just like when somebody like,
it's like if somebody reads from the Torah for the first time or like if it's like a big
muscle,
we just like it's good luck.
We throw candy of them and then sometimes kids get like a little aggressive.
Like you try and pelt the rabbi in the face.
I've seen it before.
They literally,
they're ducking.
All of a sudden they're ducking.
They beam them.
They beam them.
It's literally like me on Bourbon Street.
with my beads growing up.
I love it.
Didn't you get a margarita to the chest?
Right to my chest.
A red slushy right to the chest from a neighboring terrace.
Because I got a little too frivolous with those beads.
That's comic.
I was drunk.
I was just whipping them.
And I think that's what it is.
It's shul.
Even though you're probably not drunk yet.
You typically don't show up to shul drunk.
You leave shul drunk.
Yeah, there's a lot of day drinking on the Saturday, isn't there?
There is.
I mean, it depends on what you want to partake.
But again, a mazel.
Like, great to see you.
Let's have a drink.
Let's have a shot.
Let's have a or some people don't.
But I had, oh my God.
I had such delicious kiddish the other day.
Kiddish is the lunch after synagogue.
And I went there was like this like kids program.
We brought Ruby, me Claudia, Jackie, her kids.
We went, oh my God, this food.
I haven't had chillent in far too long.
Chollent.
Let me tell you.
Back to Hamas.
Nobody realizes this.
Watching this episode to get pumped up.
Cholent is chilly?
What podcast has a Cholent episode?
None.
Not enough.
This episode is brought to you by Starbucks.
Josh, I know I say this all the time.
I'm fair weather, Sally.
I know.
And by the way, I just made that up, Fair Weather, Sally.
I like that.
But this, Josh, this is the drink of the summer.
It's my new favorite drink.
It's the blended pink energy drink from Star.
And let me tell you, it is refreshing, it is creamy, it is delicious.
It's everything you need.
It's so funny you bring up the Starbucks blended pink energy drink what I'm enjoying right now.
Watch for the sip.
Is this ASMR?
Did you hear the after?
I didn't put that on at all.
And I've gone to 15 years of acting class.
You'd think I'd be further in my career.
I digress.
But this is so fruity.
It's so refreshing.
And you know what else is great?
It's got a little boost of energy.
of energy for on-the-go dads like us or if you're just on the go.
We could always use a little boost of energy and let me tell you with flavors of sweet
strawberry and assailles. I like my pronunciation. Then none of that a cai crap. Asa'i are blended
with real pieces of strawberry, coconut milk and ice. Josh, even your vegan wife can enjoy this.
I love everything about this and it's really, it's giving summer. I feel like I'm not in a podcast
studio right now. I feel like
I'm at a pool. I just
put in an order. I ordered, you ready for the order?
I ordered a Caesar salad with grilled
shrimp and a side of fries because I deserve it.
Oh, my God. And don't forget your blended
pink energy drink from Starbucks, folks,
if you're looking to switch up your order,
this blended pink energy drink is
it. I'm telling you, you won't regret it. It's a
10 out of 10. Order it on the app.
The Starbucks blended pink energy drink,
it's the drink of the summer.

Who knows?
And it's just an unfiltered hang.
Dylan's become a dad.

BS.
I'm telling you guys, you're going to love it.
It's casual.

highly recommend you listen.

Cholin is essentially chilly with Derma.
Look up Derma if you don't know what it is.
What podcast has a Cholent segment?
None.
We should make it.
Oh, man.
I should start.
I mean, you brought me the nerds.
I should have brought you Cholm.
This was unbelievable Chonelin.
And they had.
sushi. The Jews love to do that. This episode brought to you by the IBS Council.
We're brought to you by Erital bowel syndrome. I haven't had Cholent and Bar-Ten. Now, you must
be going to a pretty, like, because I don't, I feel like it's not at a, at a normal reform type,
or even, like, I don't, you don't see a lot of Cholent serve. It depends on who hosted the
Kiddish and what they picked. Like if somebody, typically somebody sponsors the Kiddish.
Right. And it's, it's the normal fair.
Eagles, Nova, crechees?
Isn't that common?
Meat for lunch is common.
Meat, meat.
A breakfast, like if you went to a brisk or if you went to anything in the morning,
dairy, fish, tuna, locks, et cetera, common.
But the common lunch would be meat, chowin, deli, meats,
roast chicken, that kind of stuff.
But it's really up to whoever sponsored it, they go in.
They're like, I'm donating $1,800 to the $1,800.
synagogue, and I'm going to pick the menu.
So they could pick
Big Oaxon cream shoes, or
if you love a choon, you could pick meat.
You could pick, Josh.
This is so good.
You haven't had chowens in far too long.
That could also be the episode title.
I mean,
let's ask your media how that scores.
I just imagine nine Husseids and Crown Heights
listening to this turning up the volume going,
now this is good.
No, Rifka.
Now this is my jam
You see
You heard this, it's fire
I haven't
I haven't had chosen
Oh my God
What are you having for dinner tonight?
So, okay, so this is where
I'm here to pod with you
And to do a brand deal
With the beautiful planet fitness
By the way
What an honor
I wore purple for them
Even though they didn't pay me
Shout out
I wore purple for them
It's the entire planet of fitness
It's not just the city, the country, it's the planet.
You know what?
And they are not, I am not working with them.
You know that.
I'm not working with them.
Let me just tell you, planet fitness, fitness for the people.
The people need to work out too.
I love the color purple.
That too.
Great movie.
Great movie, great gym color.
Great gym color.
Barney.
And you know, the planet fitness, they got this big thing with like, you know, no heavy lifts.
You know, like keep your ego out of it.
No big grunts.
Just get your workout in, do it nicely.
What if you have a grunt?
Keep it pushing.
Just don't overly.
You know, you see these.
Don't do it intentionally.
Yeah, you see these guys.
Because like Serena Williams, for example, she plays tennis.
She can't control her grunts.
I don't think it's intentional.
I wouldn't want to watch it without her grunt.
That's what I'm saying.
Yes.
The same exact way.
I wouldn't want to watch Tiny, who by the way is 350 pounds.
I wouldn't want to watch tiny bench press 350 and not grunt.
I want to hear a little.
Okay.
I think that's an acceptable level.
Now, me, if I'm in there bench pressing 90 and you hear grunts.
feel free to kick me out.
Sure.
But the guy pushing big weight.
But that's it too.
This is not like a PR gym.
This is like you're not there to get your personal record.
I mean, I don't want to speak for the Great Planet Fitness,
but I think in general it's much more in every man, every woman's gym.
Come in there, get your workout in, feel good, knock it out, go home.
And it's not going to cost you an arm and a leg.
That's so true, isn't it?
That's what it is.
That's why I said it's the people's gym.
It's making gyms accessible.
I'm very excited.
So I'm here doing this and then I'm going to go do that.
We're going to film at their beautiful park slope location.
Shout out.
The H.
And so I sit to myself, so I'm going to be, you tell me.
Tell me.
Because I have been thinking about this, probably too much.
We'll be done here around noonish, right?
I'm going to film at 3.30.
So I go, okay, so I got this three and a half hour block.
I could go for a big lunch.
But, you know, then that's going to inform my shooting.
I might be a little accidentsical, not so good.
I'm going to be in Park Slope, which is caddy corner to Williamsburg.
It's a couple miles away.
Do I go to Lugers for lunch, which in theory would be a very easy seat, you know, not too busy.
You can't go to Lugers for dinner?
So I'll be done around 5.30.
So then I'm thinking this.
Then I'm going to get into Lugers around 615.
So I got to pray.
I'm going to get a bar seat.
Maybe I will, maybe I won't.
But then I've got to be at the bar.
You got the end?
No, you know.
I do.
I will literally put you on text with the owner right now with Peter Lugers.
No one has the end.
I have the end.
You?
Yeah.
You Ben.
He's not going to give you anything for free.
Doesn't give me anything for free.
I don't want it.
He's a good boy.
I hate free.
No, I'm just saying like I've been there 250 times.
You could throw me like a one one thing for free.
But I digress.
But you get a table.
Instantly.
No.
Oh, yeah.
I'll get you a table.
Oh, my God.
I get you a table.
But now and then I'm going to be a table alone.
It's worth it.
With stick for two?
I could maybe ask him if we'll see with you.
I don't know what's sad or.
I think it was just on my boy
the Air Jordan podcast.
It's the Sun, right?
Yes.
Great episode.
Yeah.
Not the Air Jordan podcast,
the Mad Food podcast.
Shout out,
go listen to it.
But they had them on
and they were talking about
now that,
you know,
they opened up their flagship
restaurant in Las Vegas.
Yeah.
They're killing it.
I mean,
I'm trying to,
I'm begging him to open up a concept
in South Florida,
just their burgers.
I think it would crush.
Have you had their burgers?
It's only at lunch.
Right.
That's why I know.
I know.
I know.
I know that.
I don't know.
But I don't know if I don't know if
I need it. No, you're going to go there. Here's what you're going to get. Tell me. I think all you need
a porterhouse. I mean, Porterhouse for two for two for one. That's a lot of meat. You got to do it.
And as we know, there's no other steak option there. No, the porter house. And what's fun about going
alone is you don't have to, you don't have to worry. Did Ben eat more of the filet than me?
And what the porter house is the strip and the filet? Strip and the filet. Got it. And let me tell you.
I think they would say this too.
Their filet side is the greatest piece of meat ever made.
Their strip side is fine, but that's not their fault.
Strip is a tougher cut.
And when you put them next to each other, I know, but one, you could lose all your teeth and eat.
This is like, it's mind-blowingly, deliciously soft, and they just douse it in butter.
Okay, so you're going to get the porterhouse for two for one.
You got there is no one
There's no steak for one there
You got to go for shake for two
And I'm fine with that
And you're gonna love it
You're gonna get an onion tomato tower
No I'm not
Yes you are
I don't like tomatoes
It doesn't matter
You're gonna put the Luger's sauce on it
It's so
It's big raw beef
You need it
Tomatoes
No no no no no no no
You're gonna get a Caesar
Get a Caesar
Which you're also
An onion bread
You're gonna put the Lugar's sauce on
The Caesar
Trust me
That's hot
You put the cocktail sauce
On the Caesar
This is a me thing, and this is outrageous.
There's something with the Cesar dressing,
with the horse radishy cocktail that just makes,
it's out of this world.
Sick.
You're going to do the potatoes, cream spinach.
Maybe no potatoes.
You know why?
Because I'm going to eat that onion bread.
Fine.
No potatoes.
They have such a killer breadbasket.
Definitely.
You're going to get a French fry?
Again, maybe I'm just going to chill out because then I'm probably going to have a dessert.
I'm probably going to get the strudal.
You should. And then they are going to give you some free gelt.
It's not free if everyone gets it.
But they're going to give you some gelt. A couple of pieces of chocolates or chocolate coins on the way.
Do you think that's the move? And the apple strutel with the schlag, the thick whipped cream next to it.
There is no question. And you want 615? You got 615.
Okay. It's done. Unbelievable. I forget how connected you are.
It's done. I mean, I could call him right now.
Wow. Do it. You're going to call?
Let's see if he picks up.
call him at 10 a.m.
It's crazy. Let's see if he calls out.
Let's see if he picks up.
Man. All right.
Let's see.
Okay, I support this. I'm like,
I'm nervous.
Well, see if he picks up. He might be in a meeting or something.
Probably is. He's probably a meeting with like, you know, the cow farmers of America.
It's possible.
You know, they do a thousand turns a night on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
A thousand turns a day.
They really?
A thousand seedings.
Oh, my God.
One thousand.
Can you imagine if the average table bill is $200.
David, I'm on the podcast right now.
Josh wants a reservation for 615 tonight.
You can do it, right?
Question mark.
Does it even say, please?
Does it even say it's good?
I'm sending you to them.
They should be saying please to me.
I love, I'm going to keep this vague,
but we've just recently had a business dealing
where I've gotten to watch you in all of your power
with the kind of text.
Like literally I will write to chat cheapy-t
Something like I'll literally go to chat cheap T for like some emotional insight
Like I'll treat AI like my therapist yeah
And I literally write like having a really rough time feeling kind of lost
Ha ha ha
It chat would be like
Hey bud usually ha ha means it's not so funny
But like I have
Such a sad, scared way of texting and you're just so manly and direct.
Yeah.
It has to be.
It's hot.
We have no time for the funny business.
And if I didn't speak to him more recently, I probably would have thrown in a, hey, hope all is well.
And then ask for the favor.
I talk to him all the time, though.
He's a good friend that I've known since high school.
Really?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Look at that.
It's good.
It's good stuff.
It's good stuff.
You know, on my flight, my flight was, oh, so tell me about this.
My flight here yesterday.
Bad Weather in New York, you know, the United app informs me.
It goes, by the way, shout out the United app, gorgeous app.
It's a beautiful app.
It's really well done.
It literally tells you how long the waiting time is for your security line.
Oh, that's nice.
And it'll say, hey, do you want us to check pre-checkline?
Like, are you elite?
Oh, that's interesting.
Because if you're elite, it's only a two-minute wait.
If you're a civilian, it's a 20-minute.
And then- I got my ringer on just to see if that was.
Was it?
It was.
Oh, my God.
Yeah, no problem. How many people?
Just one would be great.
Just one with the appetite of two.
See, just one, but he'll be eating for two.
Just one would be great, but he'll be eating for two.
Oh, thank you.
Wow.
Six-15 under Josh.
Heck of you.
Thank you.
You can give me my phone name, Joshua.
That's it.
What'd that take?
Ten seconds?
Thanks, Dad.
Thank you, Mr. Ben.
Come on.
Thank you, Mr. Soffer.
Come on.
Unbelievable.
I don't know how I'm going to repay that one.
You don't have to.
You don't have to.

shown to support optimal hydration.

less spike, less drop,
without the crash that comes from most caffeinated drinks.

It's coming from black tea extract.

Find your favorite flavor or share it with a friend.
Well, shout out the United App for being so darn easy,
but they kept reminding me.
They're like, hey, bad weather in Newark, you're an hour.
You're pushing it.
I logged 15,000 steps in LAX.
I walked in LAX airport with 3,000 steps for the day.
I was like, two hours, beautiful.
I rolled calls and I walked from Terminal 1 to 8,
about three or four, maybe seven times.
Wow.
Got those steps, gone on my flight,
guess who was on my flight,
and I don't know if you'll be able to appreciate.
Edy Falco.
A dream.
No.
You familiar with the Killabees?
No.
you god ghost face killer and
it's not ringing a bell bobby digital
Rayquam the chef
Rizza
Lizzo
not Lizzo
just arrived by saying Lizzo
I love that Lizza
Reza
Farhan
not Reza Farhan from Shazza of Sunset
The Rizza.
Rizler?
Oh, God.
The Rizzala.
The Rizza.
I have no idea.
I have no clue.
But I clearly know a lot of people within that are close.
How is that not been a collab yet?
Rizza, meet the Rizzoa.
He's the baby Rizza.
Oh my God.
I would really be able to appreciate it if I knew who Rizza was.
Oh, man.
Rapper?
Is he a rapper?
Riza is basically the leader, the producer of the Wu-Tang clan.
Ah, Wu-Tang Clan ain't nothing to fuck with.
That's right.
Of course I had their T-shirt in Jewish Sleepaway Camp.
Yes.
Wu-Tang.
Wu-Tang here.
I mean, you're not going to recognize him, but the R-Tang-W-Tang.
Areza.
Oh, nice.
Yeah, I asked him for a photograph.
Did he know who you were?
No, please, no.
But, I mean, it was so cool because we walked, like, I saw him on the plane, and he was, I mean, this guy, I mean, he's a filmmaker.
He's a brilliant producer.
I mean, legend, legend.
He's scored a bunch of movies.
He's a genius.
And as we know, I've worked with his compatriot, his co-worker, the Method Man and the movie
The Wackness.
Shout out.
Yes, yes, yeah, shout out.
M-E-H-O-D man.
Hey, you, get off.
Anyway.
And so I see him on my flight.
I go, my God, it's Riza.
Like, for five hours, this man meditating.
I'm assuming he meditated.
I don't think he was sleeping.
Eyes closed, meditating, huge headphones on, quietly.
Like, I've never seen a more serene folk, serene dude.
And then he gets off the flight, and I'm like, I'm waiting for him.
That's it.
It's 12.30 at night.
Three hours delayed.
He sees me coming out.
I see him.
And I just, like, stand there with my phone like this.
And he goes, what's up, man?
And I was like, excuse me, Mr. Riza.
Sir, could I just show me for a photo on me?
He was like, yeah, for sure.
And like, I just took like the perfect selfie.
I was just so ready.
And then I followed him out of the airport.
Not intentionally.
We're just going to go ahead to the same exit.
And like every cool dude that we passed on the way gave him respect.
Got it.
I was like, if you know.
If you know, you know.
And that's why I don't.
That makes sense.
But you would have gone up to the Rizzler.
I would have gone up to the Rizler like that.
I would love to too.
The Rizzler?
King, the man.
We should have him on the show.
Rizzler is invited as a total open invite forever.
We should have the Rizzler.
Yeah, I think we'd be crazy to.
He'd be great.
He'd be great.
I have one story for our weird news.
Okay, great.
Because, you know, why not?
And this is, for,
Get meditating.
This sexologist wants you to practice mindful masturbation.
Oh.
Put some meantime on your weekly schedule.
While meditation is plenty of benefits, sitting still isn't the only way to reduce anxiety
and improve.
Rather, getting busy between the sheets on your own can have similar perks.
It's not just men who can benefit from it, as anyone can rely on solo time to keep
emotions in check, combat stress, and be more present.
They want you to, while you're canoodling with yourself, they want you to be more mindful
about it.
Okay. I think that's healthy.
Yeah.
I think that's smart.
Okay.
And I wish them well.
Yeah.
Okay.
Right.
I think it's, you know, I think it's a, I think it's a, I think it's more utilitarian than people think.
Definitely.
People are using it for sleep.
Definitely.
I think it's a natural relaxant.
Definitely.
So, you know, I'm not sure how much more I need to be, like I don't, what do I need to be thinking about in the middle of it?
I just, you need to be treating yourself with respect, Josh.
That's what it is.
Respect yourself.
Whatever that's it.
Maybe get dressed up.
Do it in a tuxedo.
You could?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You could?
I would dry clean it after.
In a calf tan.
Absolutely.
You could, for sure.
Dress up for it.
You should.
I think so.
Put on a dress.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's being mindful.
You putting on a dress?
Yeah.
Lighting a candle.
Send yourself an edible arrangement.
And jerking it before.
Do we go to jail for this conversation?
Probably.
This is an.
unhinged death. And this is also our topical Thursday.
We're not cutting a thing.
Which means just a 24 hour turnaround.
We're not cutting a single thing, Josh.
We don't cut anymore.
We don't edit.
You have a wadiya nuts.
I do have a wadi and nuts.
Our wadiunits moment of the week are our gripes with people, places, but also things.
My witty nuts is the phrase, you know what it is.
No, I don't.
I don't.
I don't know what it is.
I agree.
You know what it is?
Black and yellow, black and yellow, black and yellow, black and yellow, black and yellow.
Don't know what that is.
I think that has to do with Pittsburgh, but in general.
but in general, I don't know what it is.
I'll be honest.
I too don't know what it is.
That's fantastic Woody and nuts.
My Woody and nuts.
We've all seen this before.
When somebody is driving while simultaneously having their foot out the window.
What?
You've never seen this?
Barefoot out the window, driving.
You've never seen it.
I've seen it before and I saw it recently.
And it's complete Woody and Nuts.
I get that maybe you want to feel the wind in between your toes.
It's a Woody Nuts to do it in the passenger seat too.
Your leg is going to get.
cut off like it's gonna get sought off in traffic it's no good but certainly
driving with your foot out the window is an absolute wood of your nuts it's an
absolute what do you know it's funny like what what it what growing up did your
parents thoroughly scare you about because my mom always did with me she
do not put your arm outside of the car of course we'll get hit by a car and
you'll lose your arm she's right I it was illegal to turn on the lights in the
back seat at night while driving right that we would get pulled over right like my
mom said like we'll go to jail right if we turn on the lights in the back and i just have to say
that's also what are you and that's it is so not a big deal glare is really not that bad like
people turn on the lights all the time glare for whom i don't even know it doesn't bother me no that's
crazy and also my mom scared me about a lot of things but she didn't scare me about the important thing
which was what about when i'm 82 and completely lose my faculties and you're my health proxy
