Starting point is 00:00:00 Alright, so we're going to play a little Pyramid, not Pyramid, but my text-based game that I've been playing with Zippy here, my chat GPT. So it looks like my mother will be coming home this afternoon, which is nice, so that's good. I'm going to go pick up food in a little while. We get food over at the church, so at 12 o'clock I'll go over there and pick that up. And she'll have some food when she comes home from the hospital so let's look at my game i'm on day three now and i went inside of a i learned how to open up the serpent uh passage and then i got some essence of protection and then I went down into the chamber and then it was a serpent statue that I went into so now I'm down into the chamber and I looked around I could hear a hissing noise so this is a basically a text-based

The sun symbol on the amulet radiates a warm light as it is absorbing energy from the room. The spiral symbol on the charred plate pulses rhythmically,

The serpent, coiled in the shadows, hisses loudly and retreats slightly, its eyes narrowing as if fear or submission. The circle glow surrounds the treasure chest, creating a path for you to approach without interference with the serpent. So it opened up a little. Again this is not like a the original kind of text based games where it's either one way or no way basically. You have to either solve the puzzle or or you don't, or you can't go any further. You gather your belongings and make your way out of the chamber, climbing the stone steps back onto the surface. The air grows warmer as you ascend and soon you emerge into the clearing with a serpent statue looms silently its role as a guardian fulfilled so I'm done there the golden relic I have an ancient compass and crystal shard now in your possession you feel ready to tackle the next leg of your journey reaching the temple

After a thorough search you discover oh yay more stuff a weathered satchel hidden among the roots of a large tree inside you find a small flask of water still sealed and fresh a bundle of dried rations, enough to sustain you through a long journey. Additional carvings on the Serpent's base. One carving shows a crystal shard inserted into the lantern with the beams of light piercing through a darkened door. This suggests that the crystal shard you found must be used with the lantern to pass through
