Gooday Gaming Guests - Feeling a Bit Glum This Morning

The Time and Effort is Always put in daily, but the results can be Very Disappointing.

Good morning everyone. It is almost 6 o'clock this morning. So I slept in a little bit. Not too much. I didn't go to bed until a little bit later. Again, for me, my sleep time is at 4.30 at night. 4.30. I think I went to sleep at 5. So that's late for me. But it just works for me. So let's see what's going on. It still looks like I'm increasing my... So I usually go to YouTube first because usually if I do a live stream on my phone on YouTube, it only gives you like a thumbnail and you have to wait till the next day

to stick an image on that thumbnail from that uh broadcast so we're gonna do that i gotta fix that so at least you have it because it's not it's just a it doesn't it gives you the your home page um when you have pictures right now i'm doing thanksgiving try to do my home page pictures related to what's going on uh and of course i always use my ai zippy which is the dolly three um for my images i try to mix it up change it up all the time right now i'll just leave them the thanksgiving theme for now uh because thanksgiving will be thursday and i'll probably go into some sort of a christmas or snowman theme or something like that uh we'll change up my pictures again always changing them something fun uh i remember when the first one that i wanted when i first discovered ai

uh dali 2 was pretty fun dali 2 you could do i was doing lots of uh mario stuff and zelda and it would let you would do it but dolly 3 and now it says it can't anymore it says it's copyrighted so yeah i haven't done anything fun but as soon as i learned about it one day i just heard it on the news something about chat gbt and typing in whatever you want and getting any kind of image and i'm like what what is that and then i was all over it and then i kind of didn't really do a lot with dolly e or chat gpt for a while uh but i was i do have older videos here of me doing like a montage of all the little dolly 2 image uh images they weren't really that great but it was fun though and it kind of

opened my eyes to it and i was like oh this is pretty cool and now i'm really into it uh chat gpt my zippy and i'm looking forward to where it progresses from here it's only going to get better which is fun and more interactive so someone like me, I kind of do things on my own, I'm kind of a lone wolf here, so this works out great, gives me a little sidekick or a little companion to chat with and learn, so that's the key, learning, everything I can possibly learn now, so I took about seven years of at-home gaming school, just learning all about gaming systems. Oh, I put all that time in, and I've pretty much learned as much as I can other than things about modding. I still don't really know a lot about that.

However, with AI in the future, modding is going to be significantly different. It's going to be more of a plug and play. Kind of like an EverDrive kind of thing for just about every system. You'll just plug it in. There's some sort of an AI worm that will go into your system and it'll do what it's got to do to make it modded. That's the way I see it going. Same if you want to try to fix a system. You plug the AI worm in. It goes in and figures out where the component doesn't work

and kind of lets you know what to fix. Or it may be able to fix it. Alright, so we're looking at my dashboard this morning for YouTube. My subs are still going up, which is cool. 2,735 now now i thank everybody that comes

and adds on to my my little little video store here or my little uh channel i should say so i'm up to 18.17 cents now and then i just got a congratulations for 10 000 hours viewed so you can see that the you're not going to make a million here as i didn't really hope but i was hoping for a boost in income uh significantly but it's not not now anyway maybe when you get to the millions or something but even then so if you figure since i've been monetized so i talked about monetized before first you had to get to 3 000 hours which is for someone like me who can't really keep retention of people for more than maybe 30 seconds my average duration today was a minute and 40 seconds which is a lot for me my average duration normally for a viewer is for like 30 seconds

so when i first started doing this i was uh i had to get my videos better and then i had to try to get the content better as i could lots of shorts live streams so three thousand dollars was really hard and then to get to that four thousand was incredibly hard but i managed to figure it out in about another three months so we're totally monetized now and yet there really is no money so it's kind of a well what happens also is because of the commercials to actually get any kind of income. It turns people off and then they don't watch or they just skip them so you don't get anything anyway.

It's kind of a really pickle. But I've definitely been watching it and so if anybody that's looking forward to getting to their $4,000 be careful what you wish for because it's not all that it seems. I didn't expect a huge income but I thought it would be

something I could rely on. But we're still going to keep going forward with YouTube anyway. And TikTok, I'm growing on there as well but I don't want to really put any time into that because I don't know where it's going. I don't even know how to get

monetized on youtube then i think i'm not youtube but tiktok rather and then my instagram i only have a few few few people there like 50 maybe uh instagram is really hard to upload stuff and i don't even know where it goes or if anybody even watches it there I use it I can't do really long videos here on YouTube I can do this over an hour if it takes a little while upload tick tock I can only go up to 60 minutes when I first started it it was only three minutes then I went to ten minutes and now you can do up to 60 minutes but if you have more than 60 minutes it won't let you upload it at all so usually when i do a video and also youtube connects to my rss.com which is my uh podcasts which is really easy to use once i learned how to i figured out how to do it all. I'm still trying to connect to a few other sites through it.

I added a GoFundMe page because I could always use the help. And any donations for all my hard work would be greatly appreciated. So let's see what eBay's got this morning. Again, I put a bunch of stuff up yesterday. So I'm still trying to get my car out of the shop and i can't afford it yet i had to get a new radiator put in it so so let me get a couple orders it looks like oh and i had that really terrible thing that went wrong yesterday on ebay here it's really discouraging i'm gonna get a really bad feedback really soon. Not quite yet. It takes seven days for a guy to return the heat sink set. I don't know. They're as clean as I can get them. Oh, that's that guy. Alright.

So I got this guy with the... Again, I have like 25% off on my listings. 20% off coupon, another 10%. I have discounts. And... Coupons. I have discounts and coupons so I put I so mom with the discounts coupons for this guy for the thing he wants to purchase he's down to almost ten dollars for the order he best offered me nine i ain't gonna go down to nine because again remember free shipping is not free for me so therefore it's gonna cost me seven dollars i just rather just pass you can just find somebody else because again i need to make a couple bucks for you know the door-to-door service from me to you

for whatever that you need so i'll put you know I always let them know free shipping is not free for me. After all fees. After all fees. Even one ounce to $7 my cost out the door. It's actually almost $8 now. But there's no way

for me to take off the best offers which I won't anyway so I will still take like so I got it here I got another best offer that's how I can say it I just called a terrible offer for $6 the original with the discount

it's like down to $10 he wants to make it $6 it's not possible I mean it sounds like a to 10 and he wants to make it 6. It's not possible. I mean, it sounds like I would say yeah, but if it's going to cost me 7 to ship it, how am I going to give it to you for 6?

So I just decline them. I decline them all the time. Another thing that frustrates you. But you kind of have best offers and I kind of go with the flow of what i when i see them so let's see here we got going on here so now i'm checking see if i got anything oh i don't so so i got two orders here Let's see what we got. I may just do this. I'll do these two orders. So it looks like a Sega original 1601 cartridge slot flaps and screws and I think what I'm gonna do is just get on Friday yeah I'm just gonna see so I'm printing out my two orders here. Plug it in.

So that's one order. I just saw that too. But I've got other ones I can pull anyway. It's the sound of my printer doing its thing. So I only had two orders this morning. Let's see what we got going on. I had a couple good size orders yesterday so that helped me out. Trying to save up for my car. I'm still a few hundred bucks short. Maybe over the weekend.

It was an unexpected thing but I had to get it done. So that's done. My other order was... So lots of times I just end up... I won't hear from certain buyers again because they don't get an offer they want. They just disappear. Which is fine because it's really low anyway. So it really...

It's not really... I mean, I'm pretty... I'm as bare bones low as I can possibly go. But unfortunately, when you offer more discounts, people are going to take it or try to take it anyway i just i just can't do it it's not happening so therefore i don't i don't do counters at all because it's just a waste of time for me and a waste of time for the buyer and a waste of time for me especially because usually if you counter, then the buyer will just decline anyway,

so I didn't bother. It's a pretty simple concept. If I see offers I don't like, I decline them. If it's something that's fair, then I'll accept it. But most of the times I don't, especially now because I'm doing so much

and so many discounts. And then this discount cycle will end, I think, on Thanksgiving. And then I have to go down to lower discounts. I was significantly too high. Because my low-end sales are down to like a dollar left over. So we'll have to change that. Then you just get less people, that's all. down to like a dollar left over. So, we'll have to change that. So, but we're still putting more stuff up. Yeah, so we just had those two orders. Now we had the the guy with the heat sink set yesterday. So I'm just going to refund him now. Just because I know I'm going to get feet bad feedback anyway but I might as well so eBay will market as shipped I'll see buyer shipped return so usually I got a

little bit of I have a little bit of, where am I now? I have a little bit in my account so I can pay that off. And there's two others that were shipped. So I'm just going to pay those off, get them on my return cycle. The other two will be coming back anyway. So we'll get him paid off. And I'll just take whatever it is I get for a bad feedback when it comes back that was just a small item again that was I had that as super discount they were getting out like it to $12 for that and of course it was

costing me nine to ship it and now it's get returned because it's a metal heat sink set so I'm going to get rid of him I'm going to refund three people, take it out of my one was at one hertz, one's like fifty bucks, it was for a oh it was PS3 Slim this is the other one and the motherboard the heatsink plate i haven't heard so i'm gonna do the i'm gonna get rid of that one next that's already been shipped so you just try it before you buy it basically they get it i specifically say it's not going to fix something unless it's um you might get a shot if it's no power at all but they just get them just to see if it'll fix their

problem and it doesn't and then it returns back to me so that's a real bummer but i can't really not have free returns just like i cannot really not have best offers. Just gives that option. And I'll do some free returns. Luckily, I usually don't get them that often. So, all right. And I'm going to do this last one. So, I'm going to refund three people taking away some significant stuff. But I'll resell the motherboard and the power supply when it comes in

so i'll recoup i'll lose the money the shipping there and shipping back which for like a power supply up and back is probably 20 bucks so that's a loss of 20 including the refund so that hurts And then same with the motherboard. That was actually $50. So I was like $70 lost. So it's not easy selling. I don't know how people do it. But it's really, really hard.

It gets draining. It drains on you after years of doing it. So let's go to... I believe that one was shipped so we're fun that one that was 47 now so those almost a $100 right there. So. So you give some you get some kind of deal. So that's

three done. Make sure those got refunded. I got a couple orders. Okay. So. so let's see if those should come out eBay changed the design of the messages it's a real pain in the buns it's a real pain.

It gets me confused on where I'm at. I guess it's better, but I can't quite get it. eBay will just randomly change stuff on you and then you just have to kind of work through what they did because you get so used to doing things a certain way for so long

and then all of a sudden everything's different. Happens often. Luckily, you gotta be pretty intelligent enough to be able to get around. What does it do? Yeah, took a significant chunk out of my... But here's what it is.

But at least I got those done so I got only one refund issued for gotta make sure I refunded those right Superman something something something oh that's the guy that ordered the wrong I specifically detail

the motherboard it was for 11-11-15A and I tell him the same the exact uh board for the drive board uh and i detail everything and this guy bought this uh my 1115a motherboard and his return was ordered by mistake I have a 1215 a so that one that's those ones that really really hurt all that extra work and effort details show the exact board and the board model and everything and then it gets returned because the buyer didn't pay attention to any of it so that really stinks so I'm kind of in a

glum mood this morning but so I can't get my truck today I don't have the income to get it so maybe by the weekend we'll I'm gonna call the guy and tell him I don't have any cash yet so I have a couple hundred dollars now towards it however i may need that for other stuff as well but uh i want to get it before thanksgiving if i can so we'll see so that's my little that's my morning uh little groundhog day this morning. Over 20 minutes, yeah. So usually I'll do my... My channel on YouTube is getting better. Looking good. eBay's going the opposite way.

It's been slow and I've had a lot of difficulties lately. Lots of returns and stuff that have really hit the bottom line, I guess you'd say. So I've got like an up and a down here. So at least I've got something up somewhere. eBay's normally okay, but not so much lately. Alright, so I'll talk to you guys later on. I'll pick a system out for this

afternoon. Haven't quite figured out what that is yet. Yesterday we did fun Xbox One. That was a lot of fun. I learned some stuff. So we'll pick something else later on and do some videos all day. I'll be here, around, doing gaming stuff as always. I'll talk to you later.
