I had a Buyer of Vintage Computing Right in my Town on eBay. It Could be a Great Local Sale Connection.

Good morning, everyone. It is now almost 5 o'clock. It's on a Sunday. Today is 1124. So I just woke up to see what's going on this morning on my Groundhog Day on this day. So I call it Groundhog Day for the early morning episode because basically I do the same routine every morning however the stuff in the routine is always different so that makes it okay so it's always something so usually since I started my podcast

this now is part of my routine in the morning so I fire up my podcast first and then I also that's after I turn my computer on, which is right after I get out of bed. I have a little loft bed, therefore that's why I use that little photo of a loft bed, because I'm getting it out. And then I get out of the bed and start my day. First thing I normally do when I first get up is I check, just do random overview of news just to see

if there's anything that's really crazy out there. There's always something crazy about it. There's lots of wars and lots of terrible stuff out there. I don't really... Try not to pay attention to it too much, but it's getting worse and that's the problem. Eventually it'll come on this side. Eventually, I'm sure. But for now, it's still over there. But, who knows. So, I just live every day the best I can because you never know what

craziness could ensue at some point. Alright, so let's see. So looking at the news just early this morning, I don't see anything that's... Today's some football. Today's Sunday. My Patriots are terrible, but they're a little bit better.

The quarterback, I think, has potential. Just for years, we just never had any good wide receivers. And tight ends were good for a while, and then they weren't. So, I watched a little of the football today. It's an early game, 1 o'clock game. I'll watch a 1 o'clock game. I don't stay up for the 4 o'clock game. So, I won't watch 4 o'clock. Definitely not 8 o'clock game i don't stay up for the four o'clock game so i won't watch four o'clock

definitely eight o'clock game uh so we'll um see how that goes you're playing miami today so miami always was hard to beat so and it's at miami too so that'll be hard so i'm not expecting much so if you got a team where you're not really expecting much then then it's all right we'll see what's gonna happen with that today so we'll watch some of that later on a little bit of football i have a little routine where i start watching a little bit of tv before the football game and i watch the pre-game i don't like fox i watch uh the other other uh pre-game show although that really got changed up this year compared to what it used

to be. But it's alright. Not as good I don't think. So I'll watch that and then I'll watch some football while I do some, I'll pick something to do for a project. And we might have orders. Let's look. So we're going to go to YouTube

first. I like to go YouTube first because that's what I'm putting a lot of my time into is my YouTube so let's see where we're at now I like to do a daily count, so if anybody that will read, listens to this uh, I'm

gonna do a little a little episode called, if you're uh oh, so my count is up to like two counts uh the amount of subscribers i have is 2795 so it's significantly it keeps going up my money count actual revenue revenue made since I got to $4,000 is now $20.73. So, I'm going to do a little episode video or podcast. I might do both. Cold. It's extremely hard. To get to 3,000. And then 4,000 hours.

If you're. Ordinary. And not eye appealing. Because I continue to see tons of. YouTubes of. Really eye appealing people. That. Say how easy it is to get to 4,000 hours and i i disagree with that but and then the the reality of when you actually get to the 4,000 that there's there's no money at the end of the

rainbow at least that's how i see and again it's one of those things where once you get there you just can't just stop you got to keep it going so you got to keep continuing that work after to put more hours in and yet it still doesn't really uh amount to much because my hours significantly keep going up I keep doing promotions. And yet the only thing that doesn't go up is any revenue. It's pretty weird. Very disappointing. Honestly. I just keep plugging away at it anyway.

I'm already committed to it. So my last achievement was congrats. I'm reaching 10,000 hours of watch time. And again, I've so far made $20. So, you just make like cents per, if that, if not even that. Because the thing, like I said, a lot, most times the commercials, people just skip them.

They're never watched, so therefore you never get income from them. Okay, so today. they're never watched so therefore you never get income from them oh so now what I do I did a podcast overnight I picked some good stories I want to make sure it came out alright of course I have to go in here this morning to

fix my live feeds from the day before because there's just I got to get one of the thumbnails that from the video on it replacing the screen video of just always you know so it takes a day for a. Regular videos you can choose, it does randomly three different live action images from your video to put on your front page of that video. But for live, and you can do it right away, but on live you have to wait until the next day to pick a pick one of the screenshots so that's what we're gonna do picking a screenshot now for those two if not it's just my home page photo whatever that may be which is my thanksgiving right now so all right so we went up to there so i fixed those now so we went up to there. Oh, the other thing I got to do is turn on monetize. Because when you do... When I do my... Podcast here comes in as a video. I submit it to our SS comm and then I'm hooked up to my youtube and then it submits it to my youtube so therefore I have to manually add monetize to it not that it monetizes anything but but can't hurt to try. So we're going to add that.

Now I'm going to put in my I was in the holiday spirit mood last night with my podcast. I do it for my bed now. I'm up in my loft bed and I'm doing a podcast. Doing a little story or whatever. Pretty fun.

Then I go to bed. Alright, so we're done there. So we've gone through kind of what I do now with YouTube each morning. Fixing stuff, doing stuff. I just want to make sure that had sound. I didn't know I didn't hear it, so hold on. I found another little mic

from my bed, so. Alright, so hold on. I found a little mic for my bed, so... Yep, it'll work. I had 14 views on that. And the holiday spirit. I... Turkey Tom is what I was called when I was a kid. So I put a little turkey on there.

It's cool. And I had two stories, two holiday stories. It's pretty fun. Okay, so that one's fine. So I put that as my main video. My podcast as well. Because they're fun. They're basically the same thing as a video.

It's just, you're not seeing anything. It's just me rambling on about whatever it is I'm doing. All right, so let's go now to eBay. Let's see what we got going on. It's always scary because I never know what I'm going to get when I wake up here on eBay morning. It's been pretty good. I'm waiting for really bad negative feedback. I'm sure that's coming soon.

he sent me a message saying can i get this atari defective donor motherboard for ten dollars i said uh heck no because it's gonna cost me 15 to ship it so i'd have to pay you five dollars for you to buy it so i'm not doing that so this morning he's saying well i'll give you 15 for it so now if i did that i would be even make no money so it's still a heck no so i'm putting i would take a few bucks off that is about it. Because they're hard to find. These usually. I was asking what the problem was.

it's a motherboard for my Tandy 1000 EX if interested oh that's my dirty one. I'd pick it up locally as I live in the same, within the same town. Oh, okay.

Yeah, I'll do that. I could do that. I'm finding out what that is. So, I would definitely do that. So, this guy lives in Westerly. Oh, that's cool. Because I've got lots of Tandy stuff to sell. That could be what I've been looking for.

So, I've been buying a lot of... I'm really into all retro computing. I mean, vintage computing, rather. All my Radio Shacks. I grew up on a TRS-80. Model 1. So, I just got in a run where I wanted to get all the TRS-80 and then I started getting some tandys oh so now I have lots of tandys I have monitors I've all stuff I got on eBay in the last year that's the stuff I was getting in the last year

as opposed to getting more gaming stuff just cause I wanted to learn about it and just have some of it so long story short is I don't really want to ship any of that

like especially monitors I've got two extra monitors so if this guy's local and he's interested in vintage computing, I may have a place to sell some stuff locally, so that would be cool, so that could be something, that could be potential,

because I've got lots of good stuff to teach you, alright let's go, let's see, we're on two other messages, however one thing is that, I think the top grill I need replaced. However, I'm not too sure. Yeah, so the top grill. This is about the grills.

Would be complete. Be the whole the whole grill. The bottom is a partial grill and the other part is the other part the other grill is the hard drive cover so that makes the difference between the top grill we're talking about a uh xbox 360 s 1439 i sell lots of those grills and the trim on the top or the grill

the partial grill on the bottom and the um trim And the other grill is the other half side. The other side removable grill is the hard drive cover. Okay. Okay, so that's two messages, so, although I didn't get any orders overnight, which is usual, I usually get something, I got an offer, which I took, So now this is the guy that I am working on yesterday. 47 motherboards. Not motherboards.

Powerboards. Power button boards for the Nintendo GameCube. The 47 of them. But I can do that. I can hit that mark easy. But he needs just the ones out of the green one so the original ones were green um for the dol-001 okay the guy paid too cool okay and then um the um later model was all black and that that's from, it was mostly on the DOL-101.

This guy is taking off, he wants just the button, the physical button that's on that button board. For some sort of a mod. So, we'll find, we'll find more for him. Alright, so it's okay. So, that's what I figured. So, you can't use the black one, basically. Because it doesn't have that springy-looking button thing. So we'll...

So we have an order now. So that's cool. I'm just going to mark that as shipped. That'll be fun. Cool. Alright, so I'll mark it as shipped and then this guy will probably pick it up today he's right here in Westerly

it's not often I get somebody from my same town order something sometimes I get it within Rhode Island maybe not normally right in my town it's very very unusual but cool

especially if it's for these kind of things because I could start a conversation and I've got lots of other stuff that I would sell directly it's gonna market is shipped and then we'll see what this guy's all about that's pretty fun so that helps the cause I'm trying to save up money for my truck. I got it back. However, I haven't paid it off yet. I owe my brother a couple hundred bucks for it.

I had to borrow a couple hundred dollars. And then I had to have the guy. I actually have a guy. I usually don't say that, but I do for my truck. And he was able to let me write out a check but wait until next Friday to cash it, which is really awesome.

Really, really, really helped me out. Because I wanted my mother to get the car back and she's been using it since it came back. Technically, we're going into Thanksgiving holiday weekend. So,

So, I thank everyone for helping me out there I normally hardly ever asked for any help but I do once in a while okay cool so he's gone so we're at about 20 minutes so eBay looks pretty quiet today but so doesn't matter I can I've got that one order which is a good size order it's for a motherboard for my Tandy 1000 EX so Tandy 1000 they have an EX and they have an HX I actually have both of them that I've collected I'm actually I'm gonna resell just about most of all of it kind of like I did with

all the really hard to find gaming systems I had I was selling everything pretty much sold all of it now once I learned about it and then you're kind of like all right been there done that now what else can I do with it I'm not gonna I don't really sit and play with it play on it or play any games I mean I could but I I really don't so I just play with it, play on it, or play any games. I mean, I could, but I really don't. So I just kind of wanted to move it along. And then there's also videos of just every system that I had. I do have a Mega Drive 2, Mega System 2 PAL with 220 volt that I'm going to test today that I had gotten. I still have a Sega.

And a Sega 32x is another one that I'm going to list up today too, I think. So we'll play around with some Sega stuff. And then I've got to double back to Sega Saturn. I have so much Sega Saturn. I have to double back to Sega Saturn. I have so much Sega Saturn. I have not sold any motherboards. I sold all the good power supplies. I haven't sold any disk drives, but usually

those are the issue, so I probably would sell those as parts. Like a two for one for parts. We'll see. We'll see what goes on today. That's my kind of direction. I don't really have to worry about any orders. And then today is Sunday. So I don't have to rush to get my orders done.

Because normally every other day. I am printing out my orders. But as you can hear. There is no printing going on. Which is unusual. But I do have one order. And it's a bigger order. It's a little bit.

About $100 or so. So that helps me out. Goes towards my truck. And then we'll. Then I can go fire up my. Whole workbench area here. And then we'll go do some. Other fun stuff.

For the day. And then I'm going to do a little. I'm going to do another little podcast later about being ordinary and not eye appealing and the difficulty of four thousand three thousand four thousand hours and then beyond it's beyond is the big one it's not three thousand four thousand it's like you're getting to that getting to the top and then you get there and you're like now what nothing's happening where do i go now so that's the thing everyone talks about that so that they can get more views themselves but yet they don't get to the realization what happens once you get to the top there's nothing left oh goodness me all right so we'll talk to you guys
